Bodies of Water
Fairlands Valley Park, located in the heart of Stevenage, spans 120 acres of stunning parkland. Originally farmland, it was transformed into a park in the 1970s with the addition of three large lakes and abundant tree plantings. The northernmost lake, known as the environmental lake, features natural vegetation and is a prime spot for birdwatching. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as sailing classes and rope climbing within this expansive green space.
The park is a beautiful and serene spot, perfect for relaxation and outdoor activities. Its wide-open sky creates a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a leisurely stroll or simply unwinding. The park offers excellent cycling facilities, making it a popular choice for both casual and avid cyclists. A well-maintained playing area provides a safe and fun space for children to enjoy. The on-site cafeteria serves a variety of tasty options, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Clean paths, ample seating, and thoughtfully designed green spaces make it an inviting destination for families, fitness enthusiasts, and nature lovers alike.

Very big nice park with lakes and aqua park/ water activities. Can do very long walks here with or without a dog. Many people cycle here too. There is fishing in the big water activities lake of that takes your fancy. Plenty of geese around. There's a cafe and toilets at the car park by the big lake Also a big play ground / water park for the kids as well as a smaller play area right alongside the big lake. Really lovely to come for a walk or sit down. Nice view over the hill too.
Charlotte W — Google review
Great space for both children and adults! It has everything here including Play area, fishing, splash park, picnic benches, wall climbing, sailing, lakes, ponds, walks and a fully stocked cafe serving hot and cold food as well as ice cream and coffees. Toilets available too as well as plenty of grassland for the kids to run around. Definitely a place to visit!

Ample car parking. Clear instructions near the entrance way. Clean and maintained.
U D — Google review
The activity was great for the kids, the staff were very friendly and the system they have works well. There is hot food and coffee available at the cafe however the only bad point i have to make is about the toilets inside the cafe, there is a hygien issue, it looks and smells as if they havent been cleaned properly in months. The smell is unbearable and the walls are filthy, for that reason i refused to buy the family food there.
DEREALIZED_SOUL — Google review
I recently attended the Taste of the Caribbean festival and had an incredible experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with a true celebration of Caribbean culture throughout the day. The entertainment was fantastic, with a lively live band that kept the crowd dancing and engaged. The food was absolutely amazing – full of authentic flavours and a great variety to choose from. It was also a very family-friendly event, with something for everyone to enjoy. I felt completely safe the entire time, and the overall vibe was warm, joyful, and energetic. I’d definitely recommend Taste of the Caribbean to anyone looking for a fun, cultural, and well-organised day out. Can’t wait for the next one!

Fairlands Valley Lake is one of Stevenage’s most scenic outdoor spots, perfect for anyone who enjoys peaceful walks and natural beauty. The trails around the lake offer a relaxing route surrounded by greenery, open skies, and the calming sound of water. Visitors can watch ducks and geese gliding across the lake, take in the fresh air, and enjoy moments of quiet reflection. It’s especially stunning at sunrise and sunset, when the light dances across the water, creating breathtaking views that make every visit feel special.
Arassen S — Google review
Lovely open park with 2 big lakes. Perfect for walking, jogging, picnic, or just lying on the grass and relaxing. Very family friendly as well. There is a cafe with toilet. Parking is great with 4 separate parking areas and can accommodate quite a lot of cars. Went there for the first time on a sunny day and it did not disappoint.

Knebworth House is a grand Tudor stately home with extensive gardens that have been the site of major rock concerts, including performances by Oasis, Robbie Williams, and Led Zeppelin. Beyond its musical legacy, the estate offers guided tours of the historic house dating back over 500 years and features sprawling 250-acre gardens with formal gardens, a large adventure playground, and a dinosaur trail showcasing over 70 prehistoric creatures.
Attended for a company event. The house and estate are superb. Wonderfully kept and beautiful to view. We found all the staff to be really helpful and polite and very efficient. We are now considering visiting the estate when it is open for normal business as there was vast areas we didn't explore. Really worth a visit.
Darren B — Google review
What a beautiful house. Went for a guided tour, which was very informative and entertaining. It’s really worth it. Did a little walk around the gardens, which aren’t huge. But so nicely kept. I would revisit sometime as it’s a calm place to walk around. Nice cafe too. All staff are friendly and approachable.
Sue P — Google review
Had a great day out here in the house and gardens. My only criticism was that the day we visited, the house was guided visits only - no mention of this when we booked. It was useful to hear about the history of the house, but we felt a bit rushed and not really able to fully look around each room.
Karen E — Google review
Grand stately home, eclectic gardens with wild west fort, dinosaur trail, maze and formal gardens. All alongside the history of Indian viceroys, Hollywood movies and famous music concerts
Simon J — Google review
Beautiful Tudor house, the stewards are very knowledgeable and approachable. Loving what they do. The family still live there, which gives the whole place a homely feel. The gardens are well kept . Great rock Festival exhibition with posters, soundtracks, and videos. Cafe offering good, well stocked, service area a bit confusing. Lots of picnicking space in grounds. Can't wait to go back!
Sue D — Google review
Beautiful historic home and grounds. The home itself is beautiful and guided tours available which we did and definitely worth it. Not that expensive. Lovely grounds and gardens, with a lot of walking to do if you so wish :) great on a lovely sunny day. Theres a dinosaur trail aswell which is great for kids and dino fans alike. Theres alsos a play park which i didnt directly go to but can see and its quite a large one. Lovely cafe with good food and drinks available including veggie options. Toilets were clean with nappy changing toilet available too.
Charlotte W — Google review
We had an amazing day at Knebworth House! The historic home was absolutely fascinating—truly a magical place that’s stayed on my mind ever since 🤩. The kids’ activities were spot on, and both of my children had a fantastic time. The adventure playground was a definite highlight! I highly recommend visiting, especially for families with kids. We loved every moment ❤️
Busy B — Google review
Excellent adventure playground for little ones. Outdoor obstacle course with swings, little houses, zip lines, A huge fort with towers and slides. Also some huge mat slides. Perfect for picnics - no picnics allowed in house gardens however you can around the adventure playground. Worth noting you can walk across the grounds to the house from the playground or vice versa however about 1.2k apart across bumpy grass so you may want to drive. The gardens around the house are not really buggy friendly apart from across the grass. Wilderness walk/trails where dinosaurs are is definitely not buggy friendly. Adventure playground has decent toilets/changing area and a small cafe operating out of a shipping container/shed. 10:30 opening time which wished it was a bit earlier especially with younger children. Grounds were lovely and had a great day out!

Nestled just behind the Westgate Shopping Centre, Stevenage Museum is a delightful gem that invites visitors to delve into the rich tapestry of the town's history. This family-friendly museum showcases an impressive collection of nearly 30,000 artifacts, including over 18,000 photographs and 10,000 objects that span from pre-history to modern times.
My wife and I shared the V E celebration with a very talented singer accompanied with afternoon tea. As she is in a care home it was a wonderful treat for both of us. ..Well done to all the helpers who made it possible. Grateful 90 year old. Derek Lock.

I took my 5 year old and he loved it. Lots to look and touch, small enough that he didn't get bored. Was fantastic showing him the history of Stevenage. He loved touching the deer pelt. Really recommend. Toilets on site, and a small shop with low prices which was a welcome change..
Liam R — Google review
A highly underrated place. From wildlife and ancient times to present, it offers a great time-journey of the Stevenage area with a lot of interactive features as well as movies. Staff is really friendly and it is admission free.
Martin M — Google review
Really cool museum. I was quite surprised on how much you can see in the small space. Lots of interactive things for kids and it is free.
Romanator X — Google review
Stevenage Museum is small. It could be a 20 minute walk through or a good 1 hour stop, look, listen and learn which I do recommend. That said, it packs a punch for its size and fits a lot in. There are plenty of interactive exhibits although these are aimed at children with a slightly longer attention span so would recommend 9 years plus. There are a few bits aimed at younger children but when I visited, this meant a bit of drawing and colouring in The ideal audience is adult and able to appreciate more of the specific and as I discovered, quite unique and actually quite interesting history of Stevenage which is something I really didn't appreciate. It's worth a visit. Don't expect a lot but enjoy the punch-packing surprise when you do.
Luke — Google review
Went to a craft activity, the staff were very friendly & understanding as my son has additional needs. The museum itself is laid out well and user friendly but a few things weren't working that was a shame.
Claire E — Google review
For a small museum it's well packed with features relating to Stevenage. A feature of Steve Dillon's artwork ( Preacher and the Punisher, 2000AD) we're on display, absolutely stunning. As was a display of Vincent motorcycles, featuring an HRD Rapide. Well worth a visit.

Old Stevenage High Street is a charming area filled with unique shops, restaurants, and a vibrant nightlife. It offers a stark contrast to the modern new town, featuring Victorian and earlier buildings that exude authenticity. Visitors can easily explore the high street on foot and enjoy easy parking. The area also boasts historical buildings with informative plaques, creating a peaceful atmosphere for leisurely strolls.
Old Stevenage High Street is full of charm and character. With its mix of historic buildings, independent shops, cafes, and pubs, it offers a refreshing contrast to modern shopping areas. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, making it a great place for a quiet walk, a coffee break, or browsing local businesses. It’s especially nice in the evenings when the street lights give it a cozy, timeless feel. A lovely spot that blends history and community spirit.
Rashid A — Google review
This area seemed more peaceful than the new town area nearer the station. It has several historical buildings with plaques explaining their history.
Karen B — Google review
For a street in southern England it ranks with Whistables High street. It's not near the sea, but that's what happens in Hertfordshire. It has many restaurants and cafes and pubs and bistros. It also has three small supermarkets. One of these is independent and Mediterranean. Many shops are independent and most pubs act as if they are. Famous for motor bikes and coaching inns.
Nick N — Google review
In 1946, Stevenage was designated the United Kingdom's first New Town under the New Towns Act. Many inns in the High Street served the stagecoaches, 21 of which passed through Stevenage each day in 1800. In 1861 Dickens wrote about it: "The village street was like most other village streets: wide for its height, silent for its size, and drowsy in the dullest degree. The quietest little dwellings with the largest of window-shutters to shut up nothing as if it were the Mint or the Bank of England." But now, it has a certain charm that you just love.
Bogdan B — Google review
Excellent place! Parking is easy if you are only visiting the High Street. Shops, bars and restaurants ....... An excellent food supermarket and two charity shops, one like a book shop and one like an antique shop. Really good chip shop and a quiet and pretty church. There is the fair on the High Street once a year and it has hosted music festivals and cycling races.
Nick N — Google review
Love the old town.great array of shops from barbers to model shops to supermarket and local pubs.a bit of everything which is what alot of towns are missing now.

The Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage is a cultural hub that offers a diverse range of entertainment, including drama, variety shows, comedy, and music performances. Named after the renowned theatre director and set designer Gordon Craig, this modern venue features two auditoriums: The smaller Theatre with 500 seats and the larger Concert Hall with a capacity of 1,200. As a receiving theatre, it hosts touring performers from various genres throughout the year.
This theatre space is fantastic. We had great audiences here for the Smartest Giant. The tech team were very helpful.
Duane G — Google review
Saw Molly Vickers dance show. It was amazing. I know there were a few technical issues the day before, but today ran very smoothly. Seating is good too. High enough over the seat in front to have a good view of the whole stage
Karen E — Google review
Went with a wheelchair user. Very good assistance and accommodation for disabled patrons. My one complaint is that there is no access to the bar area for wheelchairs, even though there is a lift from the floor above. The ground floor lift is undergoing works ATM, but all they need is to open access from above.
Pierre G — Google review
We went by train which is so convenient for the theatre as you come out of the train station go across the bridge and the theatre is in the buildings on the other side. The theatre staff were organised and friendly. The show was great, a theatre where you are allowed to get up in your seat and dance to the music. I have found recently this is not always the case in other theatres.
Mandy J — Google review
Well organised theatre. Plenty of parking nearby, train station steps away! Ample seating , bar & cafe available while waiting for the show to start. Seating in the theatre is spacious, plenty of leg room.
ANGIE W — Google review
The venue is easy to find and a short distance to parking, although the queue to pay at the end is long as there are only two machines we could see. Regarding the venue itself: The hall is big, the PA could have been louder. The seats are uncomfortable as hell, and narrow. For late comers in the middle of the row, everyone has to get up and even out as the rows are close together too. In winter must be fun managing coats and drinks! The view challenging for short people as it’s not tiered in the close to the stage seats. The queues for the toilets long but toilets were clean. The drinks at the bar are reasonable but service is slow - it’s always slow in theatres so not a surprise. Staff is helpful and nice. I’m not going back to this venue again.
A Y — Google review
I visited Gordon Craig Theatre to see Man In The Mirror - A Michael Jackson Tribute. The theatre was clean and tidy. The toilets were clean. There was a well stocked bar. The show was very good and a lovely evening out.
Abby H — Google review
Went to see granddaughter in a production. Would not be inclined to visit when dark. Route from train station to theatre entrance was unkempt and we could not see any surveillance cameras. It didn't feel too safe. The theatre itself was ok and the seats had plenty of leg room.

St Nicholas Church, located in the old town of Hertfordshire, holds historical significance as it was near this area that M. Forster, the author of 'A Passage to India', spent his childhood and found inspiration for his novel 'Howards End'. The church is known for its friendly and inclusive atmosphere, welcoming both first-time visitors and long-time followers to its traditional yet contemporary services with diverse music.
Lovely old church set on a hill that is the location of old Stevenage a Saxon town. Far removed in a good way from modern Stevenage..here you indulge in some escapism from the modern world. You can park here and walk down the historic avenue to the old town.
Paul L — Google review
Unable to go in as the door was locked, very disappointed as I and my brother and sisters, plus two neices were christened here, also my two were married at St Nicholas. Further to this I attended St Nicholas school when it was at the bottom of the Avenue and had to walk up to the church once a week during lent

Lovely church grounds, the oldest church in Stevenage I believe. We didn't manage to get in as the church was closed.
Vasiliki P — Google review
Just to say we visited your lovely church on Tuesday 29th August and were given a wonderful warm welcome by the two stewards who were there. The refurbishment has been very sympathetically and tastefully completed. Best wishes to all, The Braces
Anthony B — Google review
This place WAS good. I was married here, been to several events here, made good acquaintances with Dave, it was actually a really nice place to go. However, I've lost faith as it was never really for me, but I did go for other people. I've recently learnt that the new Vicor is telling children that Santa isn't real. Like, really? Is he any more real than a man in the sky who needs to be worshipped? There are other churches, other faiths.. look elsewhere before even considering this place.
Kyle — Google review
Those churches are very friendly and welcoming to all people. Whether first-time church goer or long-time followers. Plus the service is both traditional and contemporary and so is the music. This allows for all diverse groups to cone and be part of the service. See for yourself

First off I am not a believer, but my father was and in his later years came to love going here. He enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the good natured discussions. The service was wonderful and they treated my fathers passing with great love and respect.

Have a £170 bill for parking on the car on a car box line at the end of the row. Appealed the original ticket with their CP mgmt 'UKPC', but got no response and went straight to debt collectors. Disgusting, we will avoid coming again.

The trampolines were in great shape and there were tons of activities to keep us entertained, from dodgeball to other bits of the park.loved every minute of it and didn’t want to leave. We also appreciated the comfortable seating area for parents to relax and watch. Can’t wait to come back!
Brooke G — Google review
The staff are extremely inexperienced and provide poor customer service. Some are outright rude, and when I raised a complaint with the manager, it was clear he was showing favouritism toward one of his employees. I also escalated my complaint to Cineworld’s head office, only to be told it would be passed back to the Stevenage branch manager for “investigation and training.” So essentially, the issue gets handed right back to the person responsible. Completely pointless process — don’t bother complaining, nothing changes.

This spot is perfect for those looking to savor Spanish cuisine in a relaxed setting.
Had lunch here today. Nice place with great music. Service was also great throughout. The food is decent and the standout dish was the chorizo. The prawns/gammas were also good. My daughter really liked the cod croquettes too. Good value as well. Three dishes for £12 on a lunchtime menu.

Located in Old Stevenage, this restaurant offers authentic Spanish food. It has a very lovely atmosphere and a welcoming staff. We had a really lovely time during father's day. The only improvement opportunity was on the paella as the flavour was slightly plain, however the rest of the food was bang on!. I would definitely recommend visiting this place

Tina E — Google review
This was the second time that I visited this place. At first I did not think of writing a review, but this second visit prompted one. This is a very difficult review to write, being Spanish and comparing what I have at home with this surrogate is definitely unfair. To begin from the beginning there is a clear misunderstanding from British nationals and all other nationalities who are adopting the term "tapa". When it comes to defining what a tapa is, we have to look back into Spanish history. Tapa comes from the verb "tapar", to cover, when there was a need to protect e.g. wine in the flies infested inns from them falling into it, drinks were covered with a small plate to protect them, "la tapa". Food was prepared in big quantities and the legend says that small portions of pot cooked food started to be added to the small plate/ cover, hence the word tapa FYI. From then, as you can read on the menu, it has degenerated into any strange assortment of skewers on a plate, salmon teriyaki, to name a few, and any other strange concoction of plates that they want to sell as Spanish but that unfortunately do not represent the Spanish cuisine tradition, or tapas culture, as tapas are not eaten at the table, always standing up. Tables are for full rations. To be honest it would be a hard sell for most of the British population's taste to be confronted with what we really eat as tapas in Spain, for example; oven baked pig ears, fried blood, offal, squid eggs on the grill, sea anemone, you get the point. But going back to the review, if I ever started it, this is a nice restaurant aesthetically, the service is good and attentive and food gets prepared quickly, and some of the dishes are nice, actually quite decent. Up to here the nice part of the review, from here onwards the not so nice. To begin with, the music, loud, very loud, like you need to shout to hear yourself, and who as ever in a proper Spanish restaurant gets music being blared out like this, and the Gipsy kings on repeat, who happen to be French, come on, enough with the made up stereotypes. Then is the food, overpriced for the types of tapas, to say the least. Almost £7 for the mushrooms, you've got to be joking. Nothing that you can find in the menu gets imported other than the cheese, if I do reckon right. All of the ingredients are vastly available in any UK supermarket. Why do we have to pay through the nose? You could argue that the asked price reflects the quality of the dish. Actually the quality is not too bad, as I said before, most of them are tasty but that was not the case of the Spanish omelette, or the Carrilleras (cheeks), that in my first visit I found tasteless. The sauce was just coloured water. Carrilleras is one of my favourite dishes, and this failed attempt was very poor. So, let's have a look now at the Spanish omelette, it really needs special attention, A&E attention. It really needs an infusion of life, as it was stale, dry and probably made the day before. Tesco has a better one from the shelf, so you can imagine my reaction. It was criminal, no sugar coating here. So if you say after trying it that you do not like the Spanish omelette, there is nothing wrong with you, you are right. Basically and this is what I really do not like about these so-called Spanish restaurants is the cultural appropriation or should I say misrepresentation of the Spanish cooking tradition or culture in general. I would not mind if they stop using the Spanish language in the menus so they stop conveying a false relationship between the food they offer and anything far related to Spanish food. Just using english and describing the dish is far less misleading and far more honest, you will sell less, that's the catch. So I'm sorry but this is not for me, please go and try yourself, you may enjoy it, do not take me wrong, mine is just an opinion, like anyone's else, an informed one nonetheless. You might be wondering why I went twice, am I a masochist? 😅, no, both were work related occasions. So there might be even more visits in the future.

Really great place for delicious tapas. Loved the Jamon croquettes, patatas bravas and cream catalina. Homemade and so fast and great service. Literally only thing to improve would be to introduce something to stop the chairs scraping loudly against the floor. Besides that it's perfect ⭐

Been here twice in the last couple of months, ordering quite a lot to share. First time was during the day in a busy period, food was fantastic and service was great. Second time was early evening and was a lot quieter. If anything the food wasn't as good, it didn't feel as 'fresh' as the first time. Apart from the paella, that felt made to order both times. Service was still good. I will probably go again but the expectations won't be as high as before.

I visited Angelique today for my first breakfast experience, as I usually come here for lunches and dinners. However, this morning's meal surpassed all expectations and was the best breakfast I've had in a while. The customer service was outstanding, and our server was very attentive. I want to express my gratitude for the divine French toast and berry breakfast - it's been on my mind since then, guaranteeing my return in the near future. Additionally, their coffees are exceptional.
Booked online and reserved a table for two, arrived at Entrance and was warmly greeted and shown to our table, the vibe was calm and welcoming, was left for a few moments to look over the menus. The waiter came and took our drinks order followed by our breakfast orders, I stepped out of the traditional and tried the American, Mrs had the traditional, The coffees and cappuccino was of high quality and absolutely indulgent so moreish. The full breakfast was cooked to perfection even ate the mushroom and don't normally like them... The American breakfast was the star fresh fruit maple syrup 3 pancakes so light and fluffy,Cumberland sausage, egg and bacon delicious so tasty chef nailed it. Absolutely exceptionally delicious 💯 % You pay for quality and you get it by the bucket loads faultless service highly recommended amazing experience all round.

We tried the new lunch time £9.99 deal. The Ribs were lacking in depth of flavour but fell of the bone and were juicy. The Pizza was far more superior and the sauce tasted authentic. The dough was thin and light and the crust was too. Very enjoyable and a good proportion of cheese. The staff were attentive and nice to engage with. I only removed stars from my ratings because the ribs were quite bland and relied on just the taste of the meat (which was good!) But lacked another more complimentary flavour like bbq. The reason I took a star off atmosphere was because they served us cokes from a glass bottle and didn't pour it, but then as soon as we poured it another staff member came and took the glass bottle. Why didn't the first one just pour the drink? Seemed like two people doing one job. They then offered us water on top of our cokes and we had 4 glasses with drinks so when the food arrived space was limited. Very happy though and will be returning again

My experience here was really quite nice. The service was fast and consistent. The food was absolutely lovely and quality i had the bruschetta, sirloin steak and creme brulee. The steak was cooked perfectly and I'd say its the best one ive had. The prices are fair you absolutely get what you pay for here. Thank you

I had the buttermilk chicken burger and it was excellent, the chicken was perfectly crispy and full of flavour. The coleslaw tasted fresh and homemade, which really complemented the burger. The chips were decent, but the herbs on them didn’t quite work for me. Overall, a very enjoyable meal and I would definitely recommend the burger.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Stevenage, the Stevenage Indoor Market is a charming destination that has been delighting visitors for over 40 years. Unlike typical shopping centers filled with mainstream retailers, this market boasts a unique collection of more than 130 independent stalls. Here, you can explore an array of local goods and produce that reflect the community's spirit.
I got African/Caribbean foods at good prices. The attendants were on hand to support and very helpful
Isaac A — Google review
I'm still a fan of this type of indoor market, as there seems to be less and less of them around these days. This one is pretty big, and it's quite busy too, although not anywhere near as busy as it once used to be. Rather than stalls, most traders have units which can be classed as shops in their own right. Unfortunately, there are quite a few vacant units within the building. There's a good variety of places to eat, as well as many shops, including a fantastic grocery shop, where you can find all kinds of fruit and veg which you would struggle to find anywhere else in the local area. Best of all, the prices are very good in this particular grocery shop. The market has lots of places to sit, as well as customer toilets and a car park (which has lift access). Worth visiting, as there are lots of bargains to be found and best of all, cash is still widely accepted here 🙂👍.

Loads of places to visit with plenty of shops to even call a Mall than a just a market place. There's an arcade, hair dressers, sweet shop, cake shop, butchers, clothes, vintage toy store, haberdashery, bathroom designers, jewellers, carpets, bespoke furniture, flower and card shop, watch repair and a food court. Definitely a good place to visit and see what's there.

We have been delighted with all of their products and have taken them home to Canada with us... No trip to Stevenage is complete without stocking up at this little shop The food court area features a family run Japanese/Korean street food vendor that serves wonderful food at reasonable prices.. The spicy miso soup is amazing and the sushi rolls and other dishes are very good as well. It's worth stopping in at the market just to try this food. You will not be disappointed

Went in fairly late and it was closing up, just returned to the UK from Australia, Jesus H, the place has got tiny, all the good stools have gone, the funky gothic shop gone, the big vinyl stool gone, the leather goods stool gone…. It’s really sad to see, maybe it’s the economy maybe it’s not. But it is a shame, I used to love getting my fishing gear and bits from the army surplus store, strong items, solid tents bush walking boots and clothing.

Chiquito is a vibrant chain restaurant that offers a Tex-Mex menu along with a selection of beers and cocktails. The restaurant is known for its Mexican feast favorites such as jalapeno poppers, vegan loaded wedges, patatas bravas, and classic quesadillas. Customers can expect warm and friendly staff in a Mexican-themed setting.
On Saturday the 18th of November (after watching a movie), we decided to give Chiquito a try as we have never eaten there before. The staff were warm and friendly, and the place was nicely decorated in a very Mexican theme. Since it was our first time eating at a Chiquito, our waiter strongly recommend we try the "The Ultimate fajita", as it consisted of grilled chicken breast, pulled pork and strips of steak, allowing us to try different combinations with the wraps. The food arrived a lot quicker then expected, was nicely presented and very tasty. We ended up requesting more wraps as the food portions were so big, the 3 wraps that came with the meal just weren't enough - extra wraps are free, and come in sets of 3. Over all, I would recommend giving Chiquito a try if you haven't already. If you're worried about the food being too spicy, they do have some good non-spicy options - just ask your waiter.

Beautiful, large greenery. At first we thought we were in the wrong place, as to get there you go through a little quiet bunch of houses, but then all of a sudden this gem appears. Very impressed. Haven't been into town centre for a very long time, mainly because I've been disappointed in it. Along side no reason to go there. Stores I want are outside of centre. Went to up grade my phone. Saw a lot of new food places that have opened up since I last went. Going this time was nice as the Christmas light had been switched on & it had food market stalls down the centre part. It gave it that nice Christmas market feel. So I enjoyed the visit. I gone late in the day so it was beginning to get dark & able to appreciate the beauty of the town Christmas lights. I asked a stall holder how long are they here for. Throughout the Christmas festive season.
