The 50 best shopping and stores in Newport Beach

Condensed high-end fashion. A lot of high-end stores like Apple Store, Macy’s, Nordstrom‘s Lululemon, etc., and many small boutique stores I’ve never heard of. Restaurants and fast food for different price levels. Like five guys Chick-fil-A, panda express, etc.. Was there on a Saturday afternoon. Found parking but It took a little time. A nice food court area and some nice restaurants spread around shopping area. Check the Google site to see the list of great restaurants.

Nice views, some cool architecture, and the koi pond is very pretty and peaceful. Good place for people watching and strolling. I mostly get in some good walking/move goals - more so than actually buying anything.

Fashion Island is a lovely outdoor shopping destination! The stunning fountain displays are a real highlight, creating a beautiful and relaxing centerpiece. Adding to the charm are the adorable koi fish swimming in the surrounding ponds – they're delightful to watch. Not only a normal mall 🥹 first time seeing the architecture like this. Visited outdoor mall before Irvine spectrum but I think this place is 💯💯💯 love walking and sitting around here. Other people in the store also nice and helpful too. It's close to the beach if anyone want to combine short trip here

Such a nice mall! Great to hang out with friends and family. They have a cute little Koi pond to hang out around. I saw a lot of kids enjoying their time watching the fishes swim.

Fashion Island Mall has many of the big names in fashion along with two large department stores. Aside from a very pretty koi pond, the place doesn't have any character. The worst part is that the ladies' facilities have only 2 stalls. There was a line of 15 women waiting. For a mall that presents itself as upscale, it really didn't make me feel like coming back or to recommend it to visitors.

It’s been a while since we’ve last visited this mall. It would appear that most new stores are active wear stores. There were plenty of seats to rest and the whole place was well kept and clean. Plenty of parking as well, though it does lack high end retailers compared to the nearby South Coast Plaza.

It was a gloomy day, but the area was still lovely for hanging out, shopping, and enjoying some delicious food. The boat show was a lot of fun, and there are various events where you can purchase tickets, which is a great feature. Parking can be a challenge, but aside from that, the entire area is quite nice.

This outdoor upscale mall-like location is a great place to enjoy the marina as well as visit a few luxury boutiques such as the Real-real, Le Labo and many others. After each visit we like to pass by Nobu, for a gastronomic stop. This location is definitely less crowded than the Malibu one. Overall Lido Marina village is a pleasant stop if you are in the Newport Beach area, ideal for some fun shopping and dining while not being too busy away from LA crowd.

We really liked this small, clean area with luxury shopping and restaurants along the marina. Public picnic benches and pedestrian walkways are available. Plenty of parking nearby = if you eat at a restaurant they will endorse the parking.

Wonderful place to hang out and listen to music drink coffee or have a delicious meal. The shopping is the best! Doen, Cynthia Rowley, Aleph, The Real Real, and sugar paper. Never have to leave. The French Buckets flower Stand well I’m a little partial but it is so fun and beautiful!!!!

It is hard to park near Lido Marina Village during weekends. However, if you can park near here, you can enjoy walking down the streets and the boat docks. There are lots of good restaurants and small beautiful shops. Also, you can find Blue Bottle Coffee. (only one in OC County)

A beautiful coastal escape! The ferry ride adds a fun touch, and the lookout points offer stunning views. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy the ocean breeze.

Great experience very clean. It gets busy and sometimes it’s kinda hard to find parking spots but eventually you’ll find one different restaurants, walkways, friendly neighborhoods. Like I said, it’s a good experience, especially for families you can rent bikes and more.

My friend is visiting me from Seattle. I took her to this store which is on her wishlist. We were expecting a perfect shopping experience but it was absolutely NOT! The dyed blonde hair staff open the gate without greeting but only saying “no photo in the store!!!” with really bad attitude. Excuse me ??? Of course we respect all the store policies, but first thing for a customer should be warmly greeting, isn’t it? This lady totally ruin the all the other staff’s effort

Rarely do I receive the kind of honest service that makes me feel like a valued customer instead of just another sale. Sarah went above and beyond to help me with shoes and I couldn’t be happier. Shipping was fast and my boots were well packaged. I highly recommend Amaree’s and Sarah.

If I could do zero stars I would. Worst customer service. Zero communication. They had a hat I purchased for almost $1,500. No tracking number sent so I reached out. I recived an email stating “Good morning Meghan, We are currently out of this hat, we did just get a new shipment of hats in by the same designer, if you would like to take a look at those when you are in store. We will be refunding your payment. Please let me know if you have any questions.” I did have questions. I emailed twice with no reply. Instead they just sent me a notification that I will be receiving money back IN UP TO TEN DAYS! No hat. No communication. No money. They just restocked hats from the same maker. In one of the two emails I asked if they can arrange for the specific hat I’d like to purchase. Pretty simple. I also own a retail store so I know this is possible. No customer service.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a store. I rang the doorbell and had to wait far too long before someone came to let me in. Once inside, a blonde staff member made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I was carrying an Alo tote bag, and she immediately told me I needed to leave my bag at the front due to “store policy.” When I asked for clarification, she simply repeated that it was policy — but there was no designated shelf or secure area, just the front register. What made this even more upsetting was that I saw another white woman inside the store carrying a large bag without issue. It felt clear to me that I was being singled out and unfairly treated. I walked in just trying to shop and left feeling racially profiled. This is not okay — and absolutely unacceptable behavior from any business.

If you want to be treated like a queen, shop at A’maree’s. The clothing is a unique, high end, fashion driven statement, and the people who work there are fun! It’s a beautiful boutique with a waterfront view. I was sipping delicious refreshments while the staff helped me put different looks together. I finished my drink while watching the sunset over the ocean. You can tell the people who work there love what they do. Super fun experience! Tip: Plan enough time to spend a few hours there, and bring a few friends. There’s a beautiful seating area outside when you need breaks.

I love this place! There are plenty of nice shops to look at, a Starbucks and quite a few nice restaurants. Down one end is a Trader Joe’s for you groceries and up the other end is an Aston Martin car dealer. There is also plenty of fancy cars coming and going.

I recently visited a shopping center and was thoroughly impressed. There were so many stores to choose from, catering to various interests and needs. I also felt completely safe and comfortable throughout my visit. Additionally, the ocean views from the center were absolutely stunning and added to the experience. I would definitely recommend visiting this shopping center!

First time to be here. It’s a good shopping mall. Restaurants are packed so decided to have a to go - desert from mastros and cup of coffee from Starbucks and while doing my walk, have to watch the beautiful sunset.

Stopped in for the annual. Tommy Bahamas purchase. Got serviced by the same. Wonderful young lady who takes care of my purchase every year. Always a pleasant experience. Parking is always a nightmare but if you're patient, people come in and out all day long.

Had dinner at Tommy Bahamas with friends. The food was great, outdoor seating & ambiance was perfect & the staff was top notch! The plaza has a variety of shops & services & above all, the entire property was very clean and taken care of.

Great shopping with lots of options. Gulf Stream has great outdoor and indoor seating. You can see their homemade vegetable garden right out the window. The food is delicious. Love the vegetable platter and the shrimp cocktail is very fresh and delicious. Tommy Bahama has a good restaurant right next door with a clothes store. The outdoor seating area is cozy with a pond. Bristol Farms is always busy - it’s wide aisles make shopping easy. The customer service is excellent I’m looking forward to the stir fry custom ordered meals to reopen soon. The signature Bristol farms cookie 🍪 is delicious. The other shops are interesting with clothing and the delicious sprinkles cupcake store. Such a great shopping area with some amazing places. Great shopping for the whole family. BUT security chased me out because I drove a nice car to buy a coffee this morning.

Main store here is Bristol Farms. The parking lot was mostly full during late afternoon on a Friday. There are also several clothing stores here such as White House Black Market and the kitchen store Sur La Table which offers daily cooking classes. The Tommy Bahama store has their restaurant and bar here.

This place is okay. The vibe is off, it's dark lighting and very cramped. A basket can barely get through the island with my PSD. 🐕‍🦺🐾🕊💙 She's a sweetheart. She's since passed. I just wanted to share my experience here. The ramp was for her in the front seat. She was anemic and quickly declined in 2 weeks. This complex sucks . Imagine having heavy equipment re doing the entire parking lot, without having any construction warning signs. It's depressing and pathetic dealing with Irvine Company. The only signage posted is once you're already in the strip mall.

Visited the Fresh brothers pizza for a quick bite. Outside seating area was dirty from all restaurants as well Outside concrete, making this place in need of deep cleaning.

Westcliff Plaza is like a bustling Vietnamese market in LA. With a wide array of stores, food options, and groceries, you'll find everything you need at unbeatable prices. Parking is convenient, but be prepared for crowds as it's a popular spot. If you're a shopping enthusiast, this is definitely the place to be!

My how the years have change West Cliff Plaza. CVS has a very unwelcoming and dingy vibe. The lighting makes it tough to see clearly the tightly packed products. It's quite a change from the brightly lit and energetic Thrifty that occupied that space so many years ago. I enjoyed seeing the rest of the shops in the plaza.

UPS store should be avoided at all cost! Total rip off! They see your message and "crow" some bull and getting better,! Total bill and canned response Avoid this rip off store. They wanted $450 for shipping. I went to mailbox lido $155.00 You decide

I absolutely love Common Thread!! The shop always has the item that I need and then some.. I may go in with my personal list but always add to it because everything is so great!! The girls that work there are so awesome! I love that they have all age ranges in there to help and I especially love that they all make an effort to get to know you by name. Nor to mention a store that still sends personalized thank you notes!!! Best store ever for your one stop shopping!

Shop Common thread is by far my favorite store to shop. It has EVERYTHING you need. I used to shop Nordstrom so I could go somewhere to get everything I need from bathing suits, to workout gear to dresses… now I go to the Shop Common thread because they truly have everything, in every size! My friends laugh now because if they compliment my outfit they know where I had bought it 😂 The girls at the Shop are so sweet and always help me find my best mom/trendy but not too trendy vibe that I like 🙌🏼 Lastly, they have an amazing VIP program so you can get 25% off 3 different times each month! If I could give this store more than 5 stars I would!!! The clothing is adorable. They have lots of everyday basics, to fun date night outfits. The price point is spot on. They have amazing gifts- from children's gifts to hostess gifts. All the women that work there are friendly and helpful (if you need it). This store is sooo much than a store of clothes and items to me. It’s a communtiy gathering place where women can feel welcomed, comfortable and empowered to find clothes that make them feel amazing. Common Thread is pretty much the only place that I shop! As a busy Mom of 3, there is no time to put too much thought into outfits or shop at multiple stores. Parking = nightmare. The valets insisted on parking the handicapped. Those spaces are too distant from the entrance for those who can walk, but need a cane, for example. And the valets already cost me a damaged car & refused responsibility despite the bumper being torn off. (This was pre-pandemic, so perhaps that's changed.) The valets still insist, though. Those issues persist & they'll continue to cost you business.

Should really update your hours on google :( travelled all the way from Canada and waited outside the store till 1:00pm and still wasn’t open. Waste of valuable time 👎 Update: Took the time to go back later (5:00pm) cause I had hope, and it was still closed. What a great way to ruin someone’s day!

Drove half an hour after work last week to come in and shop. They were closed i was so disappointed because I needed 60s heels for my costume. I decided to try again today. I came an hour after opening assuming at 2 pm they wouldn’t be closed for lunch since they open at 12:30. But They were closed again. Super unprofessional nobody answers the phone and there’s no time when they return. I should have called to make sure they were open before I wasted my gas to drive out. This is my last time trying this shop. It looks like they’re going out of Business since it’s closed during business hours so often.

Love this shop and can't wait to go back. Nicole is wonderful, very helpful and knowledgable, helped me and my husband both find a great outfit for a 60s period party. She has a huge selection of clothes and accessories and the prices are reasonable.

Swellegant has an array of vintage clothes from the 20s to 90s. Nicole can help you pi point a costume down or an outfit for a special occasion. Her prices are fantastic and you can always find some gems. This is my go to spot for an event I have coming up. Well worth the drive.

Best sales help, too. They will find anything you need, if not in stock. They go beyond the extra mile and have exquisite taste. The staff will become like family, remembering your kids or grandkids names - letting you know (including sending you snapshots) when things come in that they would (or you would) LOVE. My grandkids live in NY and have been dressed by Emily at Red Balloon for over 15 years. People on the street in NY stop them and ask where they bought their outfits. I always visit for the breathtaking views. The staff is incredibly friendly and the environment is impeccably clean. Although the pricing reflects its upscale nature, every experience—whether staying overnight, enjoying the scenery, or having coffee—has been positive. I would definitely come back.

Quick and fun way to get to Balboa! My 2.5 year old loved riding the “car boat.” We walked on with a big stroller and the Captains helped us get onto the boat- super friendly guys! Very affordable ($2 total for myself and 2 little kids.) Two ferries are always running so we had no wait on either end of our trip. Cash only, pay on the boat. A fun & affordable way to experience the bay.

The best most fun thing on the Peninsula!!! I love how rain or shine. The ferry always runs you know during Covid. They never shut down. It was almost surreal, riding the ferry with no passengers or no boats on the ocean. It’s a Newport Beach tradition and very cool so ride the ferry people.!!!

I LOVEEEE BALBOA ISLAND FERRY, it's incredible cheap!! My trip was only 7 dollars compared to 40 bucks a normal ferry would charge. It's honestly SOOOOO amazing, it reminds me of a punt ferry, so amazing, absolutely recommend!!

$2 each way. Cash only. Two ferries constantly run on most days. The best deal in these parts. Very efficiently run.

Such a fun experience! I love taking my car on the ferry and saves a lot of time from having to go all the way around to get on the island. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CASH!! It’s such a quick ride I understand why they do cash. It’s a nice, little peaceful view of the harbor

South Coast Plaza is a clean bright well lit mall that feels extremely comfortable and safe. These stores are high-end luxury stores upper brand name establishments. The mall is anchored by Bloomingdale’s Nordstrom‘s and Macy’s. The amount of luxury brands are eye watering for the discerning buyer I will be honest, I go there weekly to get a good walk in because I feel safe there. The air is cool and there’s plenty of security keeping everybody safe. I’ve actually come to know several other couples walking around the mall there too. It’s easy to get some steps in With all the stores and their offerings to look at. So check out the photos and you can see they have everything for everyone from jewelry to top clothing brands to even a Porsche store. You can even buy lucid electric cars there and it’s not uncommon to see Lamborghini to Aston Martin cars out on display. For my wife, she loves Gucci to Zaborski stores. For me, it’s Breitling and TAGHeuer watches and the Porsche store, and find me the kids love Pop mart to the Lego store I have posted as many pictures as I could of the different stores there so you can view them and see if there’s any store there that interests you. The stores and displays were beautiful. I am a minimalist and enjoy nice things but I didn't see anything I couldn't live without however the Camilla store had some very tempting items. It was clean, parking was easy and it felt like a secure location.

South Coast Plaza is an impressive shopping destination with a vast selection of luxury and mainstream stores. The mall is clean, well-maintained, and offers a variety of dining options. However, it can get quite crowded, especially during holidays, and parking may be challenging. While the overall experience is positive, some visitors might find the atmosphere a bit upscale, which may not appeal to everyone.

Always clean with an excellent selection of haute horology and fashion houses. Dining options are diverse and high quality. Parking can be a bit of a mess on the weekends so just go around opening time on the weekdays or use their valet to get your shopping in.

They have great brands. High end so pretty expensive but fun to look at. Check out the underwear sections because they are always on sale. I also like how they allow dogs at Nordstrom. They have pretty clothing brands like Acne Studios and All Saints.

This is a great place for window shopping — there’s such a wide variety of stores to browse through, from trendy fashion boutiques to specialty shops. Even if you’re not buying anything, it’s fun just to stroll around and take it all in. When it comes to food, there’s no shortage of options! Whether you’re in the mood for a casual snack, a quick coffee break, or a nice sit-down meal, you’ll find plenty of restaurants and cafés to choose from. If you’re visiting with kids, the carousels are a wonderful touch. They’re charming, fun, and a perfect way to keep little ones entertained for a few minutes while you relax and enjoy the atmosphere. April 24-27 The annual Spring Garden Show is taking place at Crystal Court SCP. A beautiful tradition where you can stroll around and see all kinds of amazing flowers, succulents, bonsai, orchids, etc

I ordered the wedge salad and calamari. The salad was delicious. Blue cheese in every bite. Yummy cherry tomatoes. The calamari was the best I have ever eaten. My friends had Mongolian beef and sushi. They loved their food,as well Happy hour offers a variety of choices from the bar menu at 40 o/o off. I'm visiting southern California for a week and I have eaten here two times.

Father's Day dinner! The hostess was very accommodating and showed us two table options - a table on the patio or a booth inside. Both nice but we took the booth. We really enjoyed the Seafood Platter appetizer, which had shrimp, oysters, crab claws, and lobster. Tried the Clam Chowder but I wouldn't get it again, needed more clams and potatoes. Unfortunately, dad's Halibut was overcooked and dry but the Sea Bass and Branzino were good. Creme Brulee and Affogato were delicious! Great atmosphere, like being in your rich uncle's house on the water! Service was good.

Everything was soooo good!! I'm not sure how they knew but it was our 1yr marriage anniversary and they gave me a little bouquet of flowers! Super cute! We sat outside right next to the water with a great view of boats and the sunset. The food literally melts in your mouth! The mashed potatoes im not sure what they do to it but it was the best I've ever had! Lobster tail just sent me to heaven! 10/10 will return

We are just visiting here for two days. I booked lunch here the first day. The food is excellent and the sitting is excellent- but the best part was our server, Anna. Because of Anna, we decided to book lunch here the second day, and I’m so glad we did because not only did we see the Amazing Anna again, we had Cole as a server. I had the fish on special both days. My husband had a burger and the swordfish sandwich. Much better quality food than we get in AZ. I highly recommend due to service and food.

Ok people, this place is so awesome for happy hour. It's a local favorite and has been fire years. I grew up here in Newport Beach and this place is a staple and a must go fun place. The staff is absolutely so fun and engaging. They actually have as much fun as you have there. The happy hour is 40% off for and their food is bomb diggity! Their sushi is just as good as Nobu but for way less. Their drinks are all have crafted and delicious although they do have Expresso martinis in a machine for when they get busy but by then you won't taste the difference, ha ha ha! Cole is my absolute favorite waiter there. He's so much fun, makes you feel like your best friend and is perfectly on point with second and recommendations plus he somehow knows what you might want and suggests it. He's an experience which you do not want to miss. Truly so much fun ams you will be a repeat offender! Enjoy and your 🤗😁

Came here for my wife’s Birthday and this place had great drinks and food. The hall of fame room was awesome. We sat next to the window and had a great view of the boats. I would come back again.

Overall disappointing.Modern and bright ambience. Service was great but downside was food and the feeling of being rushed to turn the tables quickly. Salsa and chips were good, better than normal but you need to pay for them. Empanadas were really good, pastry was light and ratio of filling was perfect. Mains were the letdown. We both had enchiladas, one short rib and the other shrimp. Beans and rice were bland and nothing distinctive. Beef enchiladas left me wondering “where was the beef”. Sauce on both felt very heavy. Nothing unique and for this relative price point you expect there to be

The Birria Tacos with consommé made me want to be a better human. They gave us fresh lemonade, not too sweet, but just the right amount of tart. The salsa is spicy, so beware for those who can’t hang. Also the entrance, Ladies Restroom, and overall restaurant was so nicely designed I had to take photos.

We had the best experience here! We had Danny as a server and he was incredible. Food knowledge was incredibly impressive. Made me and my boyfriend feel very comfortable and gave us the best experience. The general manager Robert was so kind and made sure we were well taken care of. The food was incredible and the cocktails were beyond fantastic. The flor de alma is one of the best cocktails I’ve ever tried and it even came with a little show. An amazing experience overall.

Fun spot. A good mix of locals and visitors. Music was good, sat at the bar and ordered the Enchilada Trio. Came out fast, hot and not as spicy as I would of hoped for but still really tasty. Chips and salsa were a good size and only 3 bucks. Bartenders were attentive and served great drinks.

We came to Red O for an early birthday dinner for my daughter and it turned into a total win. The kids split steak tacos and a quesadilla with fries and cleared their plates. Portions were perfect and I love that they don’t drop a giant bowl of chips so you actually enjoy what you ordered. My Caesar with grilled chicken was chopped beautifully, creamy dressing clinging to every leaf, pepitas for crunch, and proper croutons. The wild salmon was a generous 8-ounce fillet over a cauliflower risotto, flaky and seasoned just right. The bar is dialed in too. They stock green Chartreuse and make a proper Last Word. Big shoutout to Edgar for warm, attentive service. He remembered the serrano chiles, kept the table moving, and made the night feel easy. We finished with the butter cake topped with a sparkler for the birthday moment. Walking-distance gem. I’ll be back.

I received a gift certificate a while ago and wanted to give it a try! The food is beyond my expectation. Very nice restaurant with good tasted Mexican style food. I am very pleased with the service and the seating. We sat outside for dinner because it was still light and bright. Good place for friends and family gathering. Bringing my family to Red O again today and everyone is so happy with their food!

The food here is just so simple and they really do a good job of bringing out the natural flavors of the dishes. Our server was very knowledgeable on all dishes on the menu. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing.

We shared the bread with butter ($7), salade amelia ($16), tartare ($29), sashimi hamachi ($22), and bone marrow grilled octopus ($41) amongst three people. Bread: 3/5 - The waiter asks if you want bread, but note that bread is an additional cost. The bread was warm, but the outside was quite hard. The bread and butter were on the salty side. Salads amelia: 4/5 - Presentation of the salad was cute. I enjoyed the pieces of avocado and pumpkin seeds Tartare: 0/5 - Barely edible. It was so sour. None of us wanted to finish it Sashimi hamachi: 4/5 - Tender and flavorful, but nothing extremely mind blowing Bone marrow grilled octopus: 4/5 - The octopus was soft, but it’s a small dish For my entree, I got the the Mediterranean sepia and Hokkaido scallops ($36), which I would give 4/5 stars. It was very tender, almost to the point of being undercooked. The flavor was tasty. The croutons were soggy. The scallops were small For dessert, I got the chocolate soufflé cake ($16), which I would give 5/5 stars. The inside was hot with melted chocolate, and the praline crunch and coconut gelato added an extra layer of flavor. For my birthday, they gave me a madeleine cookie with a lit candle, so that was a nice touch. The ambiance is nice inside, although we were seated near the window, so we saw a giant, black beetle on the wall. Our server was nice, but the service was a little slow Overall, the meal was solid, but nothing extraordinarily amazing, especially for the price.

Just back from France, I didn’t expect much — but the food here truly impressed me. We tried a variety of dishes and loved the scallops. The Pavlova and crème brûlée fell flat, though, lacking any real flavor. The wine was excellent; I even tracked down a bottle at Bevmo already! Will be back soon.

Superb! The 3 course dinner (ceviche, chicken cordon bleu, and honey pannacotta) was incredible. Instead of wine, we opted for a Ginger Thyme Mocktail I can't stop thinking about. The waitstaff was kind and attentive, including offering a variety of teas with our dessert. Highly recommend!

If you’re celebrating something, Marché Moderne is the spot. If you’re not celebrating something, the staff may quietly wonder why you’re even there—birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, “I survived another week at work”—pick one, or risk raised eyebrows. Service is friendly and gently persuasive, like a menu therapist guiding you toward life’s better decisions. The bread service arrives warm, with walnuts chunky enough to make you question your dental insurance, but the salted butter redeems everything. Highlights of the night: a surf & turf carpaccio (skirt steak + crab) that easily stole the show; a decadent duck liver mousse that doubled as the bread service’s best friend; steak tartare that leaned sweet but came with truffle sauce, so all is forgiven; and prawns that were both delicious and big enough to demand their own ZIP code. Dessert is where things get serious. The rice pudding—yes, rice pudding—was phenomenal, with flavor pairings straight out of a Rice to Riches fever dream. The bananas foster is another strong choice if you prefer your sugar flambéed. Parking? Technically free. Realistically, nonexistent. On a Friday night, just hand over the $10 for valet and consider it the price of admission to a better life decision.

We came here for our thirtieth anniversary and they did not disappoint. Our server, Ryan, was absolutely phenomenal. He was engaging, had just the right level of attentiveness, was so knowledgeable about the dishes, and was very easy to talk to. We did the tasting menu, with the wine pairing. It was worth every penny. We're not wine drinkers, and know nothing of it, but wanted the experience. The various wines and champagne really added a lovely new dimension to the meal. While the explanations were mostly lost on us, we still enjoyed the flavour. All of the food was executed perfectly, all being handcrafted with care and attention. The maitre d' came over to chat with us, check in, and was so effortlessly charming. The entire experience was wonderful and I can't wait for the opportunity to return. One thing I wanted to note is that there was no pretentiousness at this place at all. Unlike some other restaurants in the area who devote paragraphs to reasons why they can eject you (I'm looking at you Mastro's), this place was welcoming, while remaining upscale and sophisticated.

Update May 2025: we've been here multiple times since the original review and the food, service and overall singing experience has been as consistently satisfying as any restaurant we've ever visited. Marche sets a high standard and never fails to deliver each and every time. Well done to the MM team. ------------------- Been coming to this restaurant since their South Coast days, and MM never disappoints. The menu evolves with the seasons but exceptional standards like bone marrow, duck, short rib and coq au vin keeps us coming back. The Crystal Cove space expands on the open kitchen experience and maintains some fresh air dining options. Service is professional and fine tuned, with staff that clearly understands that fine dining can be friendly and accessible.

From beautiful colors and fragrances to unique artistic displays of natural flower genetics, Roger's garden will not dissappoint! This cozy establishment takes you back in time as you walk through it's green and flowery gardens. The fragrance of roses, vibrant colors and butterflies make it a gardener's paradise. We stopped by the small shops that offer a variety of gardening needs such as soils, tools, pottery, fertilizers, hummingbird food, decorations and much more! The various shops also offer natural local honey, candles, oils, frames and unique gifts. My favorite are these small French mints that taste like violets. They are kid and dog friendly. After touring the garden, you can have a delicious dinner, exquisite cocktails and delicious dessert nextdoor at Farmhouse Restaurant.

Party of 4 - 2025 Halloween Boutique Theme: Midnight Market This is my first ever Roger’s Gardens experience which I definitely enjoyed! We arrived early 8:30a to snatch a good parking before the gang arrives for RG’s first day of Midnight Market opened at 9a. It took about 10 mins until we reached the entrance of Midnight Market tent which was not bad at all. We went around the store at least 3x just to make sure we didn’t miss anything! As far as selections, you will find plenty of unique furnishings and Halloween decors. And yes, it may be bit on the $$$ side for some but one can justify the originality of each and every piece. RG is not your typical William Sonoma, Sur La Table or Home Goods for that matter. Having said that, I’ll make sure to be ready on October 3rd for their Christmas Boutique opening! Note to self: Reserve at least 4 hrs for next visit!

Expensive but awesome nursery, with amazing gift items and truly impressive Halloween and Christmas boutiques. Hard to find ornamental and rose breeds. Fancy gifts and home decor year round. Amazing restaurant location on site (Farmhouse at Rogers gardens, make a reservation if you don't want to wait 1 hour year round)

I enjoy Roger's Gardens. I'm more of a DIY'er and I get so much inspiration, but for those with less of a hands-on approach It's a treasure trove of quality products and beautiful nursery items and plants. The displays and patios and fountains are beautiful, and the store displays are set up in pleasing themed sections. Blues here, beach there, reds just there, rustic and elegant has their place too.

This is one of my favorite places to go, especially at the holidays. If you like wandering in to a place with beautiful gifts, ornaments, plants, and flowers, you will really enjoy this place. You can go online and take a look at their website and it’ll give you a preview of what they have. For anyone who wants to wander and take your time, just be careful and bring a small purse or bag. It’s very easy to hit things and knock things over because they have so much. What makes it unique to something like an Armstrong Gardens or a nursery is that they put the high-end touch on it. You have several rooms of interesting gifts and decor, then rows of beautiful plants and water fountains. They have real Christmas trees you can buy, but their artificial trees are top notch as well. They have small gifts that are affordable, to really expensive gifts and patio furniture. I bought hanging flower arrangements there that have lasted years to Christmas ornaments that I still use. It’s great to go during Halloween when they have several rooms set up with all sorts of great decor. It’s best to go random times during the week when it’s not busy. It has very little parking and is popular so going off hours is your best bet to enjoy versus going on a weekend. Other options are to park across the street behind the gas station and walk over if you do go on the weekend. Just be prepared to be moving around people as it does get packed. The farmhouse restaurant that’s attached to the back is also a great place to go. The best is when you go at Christmas and you’re sitting in open air seating and you can smell the fresh Christmas trees as you eat dinner. This is a place I go to whenever I want to cheer myself up.

One of my favorite nurseries to visit! You can easily spend an entire morning or afternoon here. The midnight market is also a lot of fun to walk through to get you in the halloween spirit 🎃

Lovely displays of grouped plants, hanging plants, outdoor furniture and indoor plants on display. Paths are wheelchair friendly with only a couple sharp inclines/declines. Parking is crowded on busy times and the restaurant has long waits.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate my birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The manager, Ali, went above and beyond by surprising us with an upgrade to a beautiful room. The service was exceptional—every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. They even sent champagne and macarons to our room as a special birthday treat. After lunch, our waiter overheard a friend wishing me happy birthday and, within minutes, brought out a complimentary cake dessert. From the spotless, comfortable room to the breathtaking views of the boats and bay, every moment felt relaxing and special. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We travel frequently and stay in a lot of luxury resorts and this place ranks at the top. From very beautiful well kept grounds to stunning views from a bayside room. That being said, the most impressive part of our stay was the staff. Literally from our first point of contact at the Valet drive with Ron to a very simple check in with Joshua. We are and drank at the A&O Restaurant and got amazing service both nights from DeAnne and Dylan. Then, upon checking out we had a few questions about our bill that were quickly addressed and taken care of by Ali, Lou and Millie at the front desk. In all of our travels we have never received such amazing service. I would highly recommend this hotel especially with a bay view. Thank you to all of the hotel staff that we got the pleasure to meet. Keep up the great work and we’ll be seeing you again soon!

This was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at! The room was so clean and you truly can't beat the waterfront views. We ate at the A+O restaurant at the hotel and the food was amazing! It was the perfect family friendly getaway. We can't wait to plan another trip back!

I've stayed at many hotels throughout Europe and the U.S., of various ratings, and this one is in my Top 5 at least. The staff and their attentiveness is exemplary. The rooms and hallways are very airy and inviting...even the elevators are noticably slightly large than most hotels. The hotel restaurant breakfast was also excellent, both the food and the service. The only very small negative is that the shower doesn't have a handheld showerhead which people with long hair may find limiting.

For the exorbitant price it charges, this hotel leaves much to be desired. Our room was outdated and had a lingering chemical smell that would not dissipate even with the windows all day. The service at the restaurant was incredibly slow and the price did not match the amount or quality of the food. The hotel did not honor the property credit it promoted upon checkout, leaving us with an unexpected high bill. The only decent service was the valet. I would not spend my money here again.

My overall experience was incredibly clunky. Things were lacking clarity. Be warned that you will pay an additional $80 a day 40 for parking and 40 for resort fees. That may not seem like a lot to some of you but it was surprising to me and not clear till after we checked in. We were only there for 24hrs so that also impacts this review. Check in staff were kind. The lead bell man was helpful in trying to find a room that had already been cleaned and was ready for us since we were about 20 min early for check in. That was nice. However, things still weren't super clear. Should we get our bags and wait, should we go park, should we go wait at the bar or patio. I was looking for direction didn't get much and kinda felt stupid. (I don't like that) But no one was mean. First room we were put in I believe it was room 241 no one should ever be in that room. It literally vibrates I believe due to an AC unit near by. It felt like we were in the hull of a ship. Thankfully we called and they moved us to room 251. It was loud in the hallway but thankfully was quite and very spacious in the room. We did have to wait outside our room for over 20 minutes with our bags waiting to be let in. From the time we arrived to finally being in our new room was about 2hrs thats a long time on a Wednesday afternoon and wasn't the best start to our stay. The keys are also kinda funny they are wood type coins they are cool but also weird. Felt very losable, and we had issues with them leaving the parking area and we had to go back at 10:30 pm because it was not working getting back into our room. Overall a great location, it served its purposes but for the price you are paying I thought the experience would be a bit better.

Went on a good day. Weather was nice and it wasn’t too crowded. Really enjoyed the exhibits. They had some great 90’s movie nostalgia was through the roof. Had a great time . Lots of restrooms and nearby attractions.

Been wanting to come to this fair for a decade now. WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! It was such a blast. Great attractions, amazing food, and was fun the entire day. The best part was the $5 food fest from 11am-4pm. Every fair on the planet can learn from this business model because you get to try so much!! Loves every second of my time at the OC Fair 😁

The OC Fair is a summer tradition in Orange County and one of the best county fairs around. It has something for everyone—rides, concerts, livestock exhibits, shopping, food, and endless entertainment. It’s begun to be a luxury as years have passed by as the cost has gone up significantly. Regardless , we’ve gone several times, and here are some things first-timers should know: Admission & Parking: • Buy your tickets in advance they will sell out especially over the weekend. General admission is $13 (Wednesday and Thursday) and $15 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). $9 for kids (6-12) and seniors. Kids ages 5 and under are free. • Parking is $15 for cars and more for larger vehicles. Arrive early if you want closer parking, otherwise be ready for a bit of a walk. Food: This is the main attraction for a lot of people. Expect oversized fair classics: deep-fried everything, turkey legs, giant corn dogs, BBQ, and funnel cakes. Most food items run $15–$30 each, with some specialty items higher. Drinks (like lemonade, soda, or beer) are around $10–$25. Pro tip: come on $4 Taste of Fair Food Thursdays, where vendors sell smaller portions so you can sample more without spending as much. Rides & Games: The carnival is huge, with everything from kiddie rides to big thrill rides. However, it’s gotten really expensive for a growing family of 4. Ticket prices range from: 8 tickets = $10 16 tickets = $20 40 tickets = $50 60 tickets = $75 80 tickets = $100 Fast pass = $30 (don’t wait in the line for rides) If you come midweek you could purchase a wristband for $54 and that is good until 8pm. Most of the rides range from 5-10 tickets. That add up really fast. Entertainment & Exhibits: The fairgrounds have plenty of free shows included with admission—acrobatics, live bands, petting zoos, pig races, and more. The Pacific Amphitheatre concerts cost extra, but fair admission is included with your ticket. Exhibits include art, photography, crafts, and livestock. Great for families and kids to walk through. Amenities & Services: • Restrooms are clean and spread throughout the fairgrounds. • There are water refill stations (bring a reusable bottle to save money make sure they are empty upon entry). • Shaded seating areas are available, but they fill up quickly in the afternoon heat. • ATMs are everywhere, but most vendors now take cards. • Stroller and wheelchair rentals are available at the entrance. Pro Tips: • Come early in the day to beat the crowds and the heat. • Bring cash for smaller vendors. • Wear comfortable shoes—you’ll do a lot of walking. • Weekdays are less crowded than the weekends. Overall, the OC Fair is a full-day experience but is it worth the rising cost?…only is you plan it right. Between the food, rides, music, and exhibits, there’s no shortage of things to do.

I love the fair. Its a little expensive buy you can get some bargains here and there. But what fun is that? I want to go big! Play games and win stuffed animals. Established fried food. See a pig thats not me looking in the mirror after a fried twinkle. The fair is awesome!

If you want to talk about over prices well everything here its very pricey, but only thing made it worth it was hot dog on a stick, love their cherry lemonade, 🍒 if you can stop.by the pretzels stand they have the best pretzels I've ever tasted ( well attended a place like this) I tried their almond and toffee pretzel and was freshly baked. P.S If you want a turkey leg go by the ones by the entrances by fair as they're $4 cheaper.

We went to the OC Japan Fair and enjoyed our visit. It was fun to walk around and see all the booths. We enjoyed watching the Taiko Drums and the Japanese comic. The food was good, although the lines were so long. We went to the Orange County Fair and thoroughly enjoyed the day. We visited Centennial Farms and saw the cow milking demonstration and saw the newborn piglets born July 16. We ate some great BBQ and sweet stuff.

We take our kids to the OC Fair Event Center every year, especially for Imaginology. It’s a great place for them to explore hands-on activities and learn something new each time. From art and science to farming and tech, there’s always something fun and educational for the whole family.

Went in to grab some quick beer and food before hopping on the Balboa Ferry. Was not disappointed. Was expecting it to be much smaller and overpriced but boy was I wrong! Much bigger than you’d think and also a great selection of food and beverages. Extremely reasonably priced! The opposite of what you’d think given its location. Extremely fast checkout as well and the staff was very friendly—all smiles. Was literally in and out—and I don’t mean the burger chain. If ever in need and by the ferry or in the area, definitely recommend! Oh and some cool art on the outside as well!

I had the honor to show my oil on canvas “San Clemente Sunday” 16”x20” until June 7, 2025. The gallery is so beautiful, the owner is wonderful and the artist opening was incredible! If you want to see quality artwork from local artisans, go visit and take a piece home!

such a great place to go if you want to hang out with your family and enjoy the beach. The cottages are darling. You have to bring your own plates, silverware, coffee maker, etc. we had to go to CVS and buy a coffee maker, but that was fine. Loved the gift shop and the lovely lady that worked there. Bought a gorgeous tablecloth from France and she told me all about the company. She was a delight.

Put this firmly in the category of "I really don't want to write this review and make this place even more popular and hard to get a site at than it already is", but alas it's not mine and everyone should be able to enjoy this gem, even if it means it's going to be a little harder for me to get in the future. How did I not know this exists? Historically remodeled Ocean front cottages with a great story and better view. Killer shake shop. Island vacation feeling bar. Friendly staff. Saying this is a great location is the understatement of the decade. I think it's one of the few places in so Cal where you're front porch is Sand. Especially in this price range. Vibe wise it's somewhere between Avalon (golf carts, no cars, bars), Redondo Beach (shakes and boardwalk) and a Seaside town in Southern England (historical cottages). It's a can't miss really (unless you demand luxury accommodations). If you visit, take care of it, it's a gem. I should note, parking is a minor challenge but we enjoyed the walk and they have options for those in need.

Cannot wait to stay here again! Super fun, even with a bit of rain. The views are incredible, the food and drinks are good, the cottages are cozy, and you can really have an active day on the beach or lazy day reading a book on the patio.

Crystal cove is absolutely beautiful! cottages right on the beach are super unique. We had an amazing time and our cottage was super cool with stunning views. sunset was spectacular! We really enjoyed our stay, it’s definitely worth it.

Between the lovely cottages, amazing restaurant, the beach and the guest house, this is my favorite spot on the Pacific. The memories serve me well to unwind and relax. I am looking forward to coming back.

My husband and I recently traveled to California to visit Newport Beach. After finding Lido House online, I was immediately drawn to its charm, and it did not disappoint! The hotel is truly lovely, from atmosphere to the bar, delicious food, and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. It was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had when traveling in a long time. Our trip was really even more special thanks to the overall vibe and service at Lido House. I’m so glad we chose to stay here! My only small critique is that we stayed over a weekend, and the rooftop club was loud at night. It was hard to fall asleep with the music thumping until midnight. Still, we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely return [just maybe on a quieter weeknight next time!].

We had a fantastic stay at Lido House! Our room was beautiful and absolutely spotless. All of the staff were exceptionally courteous and had great recommendations on how to experience the local area. The Valet staff (special shoutout to Rodelle & Alex) were awesome. They provided us with complimentary beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella so we could enjoy an afternoon on the beach, they drove us and picked us up! Super easy, you just call them when you're ready to be picked up and they arrived within minutes! We cannot wait to stay with Lido House again! Thank you for everything!

I stopped at the mayors table to grab a bite and was greeted by Scott the bartender. Now mind you, it was early on a Monday and slow but that didn’t seem to register with this man. He welcomed me into his bar with great enthusiasm. He talked with an upbeat air about him and every move he made seemed to be with a purpose. You wouldn’t know it was slow by the way he moved and talked and worked. In all honesty I was pretty tired from the night before but he seemed to recharge my batteries for the day with his exuberance. The conversation was stimulating without effort. He had the right touch to engage and back off when it was right. I never leave reviews but I just had to because Scott is a throw back to days when service meant something more than a person merely waiting for a tip. He cared and I felt that care. Thanks again. I’ll definitely visit Scott when I come back through Newport Beach.

It's even more than advertised. Superb staff, excellent food, rooms are very clean & nicely appointed, location great and surprisingly quiet. A true escape. Expect to pay $$$+ 30 for a flute of sparkling wine, 40 for 2 beers poolside, don't ask where the stairs are if you want to use them (4 different staff actually told me there are none). They exist. Of course. Every meal was fantastic. Chef Eric came by our table to share a recipe when we asked to 'tell the chef this is fantastic."

It was such a joy to stay at Lido House. My wife and I spent our first wedding anniversary here, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make it a truly special celebration. We’d especially like to recognize Baylee, Jonathan, Angel, Madeline, and Alex who played a big part in making our stay exceptional. From valet to the front desk to the spa, every interaction reflected the premier level of hospitality that Lido House is clearly known for. Whether you're visiting as a couple or with family, I highly recommend Lido House. The resort caters to all kinds of travelers and does so with genuine warmth and professionalism. The beauty of the location is remarkable, and the facilities are very well maintained, allowing you to fully enjoy the luxury of a Newport Beach resort. Came here for our 42nd anniversary. Love this boutique style hotel in the heart of Newport Beach. A wonderful walkable getaway. Very well detailed with a very high standard of service. Love that it's part of the Marriott family.

Nice clean shopping center. Everything is beautiful here. The produce is perfect and tastes amazing, the bakery has the most professional cakes I have ever seen at a shopping center and they also have some huge gorgeous chocolate covered apples that are a fantastic price. We only visit once every 4 years, but when we do I love visiting this shopping center :)

I ❤️ Newport Hills Animal hospital. Dr. Lyle, Dr. Whitaker, and Dr. Wood are outstanding. Juan the groomer is wonderful and always does a great job. The front desk staff are always sweet and help you with whatever you need. THE ENTIRE STAFF IS AWESOME and I have and will continue to take any pet I have to this vet.

I like the Pavilions always neat and clean, with friendly service. I also like the drug store, they decorate for every holiday, and they always have unique things to buy hats, jewelry, shawls, and purses just to name a few. There's also a courtyard with plenty of seating as well.

Nice newly remodeled patio area with chairs, tables and umbrellas. Taco Rosa restaurant is a favorite in the area. Some stores here are a bit pricey. Cramped parking lot is on a hill so watch for rolling shopping carts. Pavilions seems a bit overpriced. Go to the nearby, but smaller, Ralph's instead for your groceries and a friendlier staff.

This great center has an amazing location, convenient for local residents who don't want to travel far for either gas or groceries. It consists of a range of things from a gas station, to a pharmacy, to a bank, to a hardware store; and restaurants too. Newport Hills Shopping Center is also very close to the freeway so it allows for easy access to and from large areas.

I went to Taco Rosa along with my husband and a friend. We enjoyed Happy Hour specials on food and drinks. The chamorro de puerco was excellent! My husband enjoyed 3 tacos and my friend chose the chicken enchiladas with mole. Our entrees were delicious and the service was great!

Small local shopping center, parking usually an issue. However, this center has the essentials, Pavilions, Crown Ace and Bank of America here. Nice selection of small cafes , plus Taco Rosa, always good.

Tacos Rosa was a savory delightful experience for an enjoyable evening. Excellent table service. Variety of menu options. Mexico City cuisine. Delicious!

Love this store! I usually shop online for my Anthro items but happen to be having lunch nearby, so I stopped in. This is a large location and includes a bridal section as well. The staff is great and friendly but not hovering all over you. Such a great vibe when you walk in. Take your time checking everything out.

I was starting to shop at this store more but the attitudes of some of the employees are just so unnecessary. Ladies, sometimes customers need to return things. Even things ordered online. If online allows me to return items, not sure why the employee at the store would give me grief about the convenience of returning it to the store. I wish I got the name of the person who didn’t want to help me yesterday. Tall, dark hair. (Receipt shows cashier 309101) She tried to say it was a final sale. I shop a lot and whenever I buy something online, if it’s on sale, I specifically check to see if says final sale. If it states that it is, I won’t buy. I’ve passed on a lot of sale items because of that, especially if it’s clothing. This item did not say final sale. But of course they want to treat me like I don’t know what I’m talking about. I let her know that online allowed me to complete the return and return label to upload and print up to send back. I even showed her. I get an attitude and push back and was told “ if you want to pursue that, go ahead” in such a rude condescending way. I asked for the manger, Mindy came over and before I can say anything the rude employee said to her “it’s final sale”. How about “the customer would like to speak to you”, maybe be professional? Mindy allowed the return but let me tell you the attitude as this employee processed the return was just so passive aggressive. Handed me the receipt without even looking at me or saying a word. It was so bizarre I thought there is no way she could be this unprofessional over a return so I turned around to say “good bye” as I started to walk away, she wouldn’t even look at me or say anything. Weird awkward experience and has totally turned me off to shopping here.

Beautiful displays. This store has a lot of unique, beautiful displays. It was big, and divided into many different sections, selling furniture, kitchen items, bedding, and women's clothes, etc. However, the prices for most items, were unreasonably high. For example, a synthetic women's sweater, was marked for 180 $. Therefore, there was a huge section with half priced, women's clothes. I wonder if there is a real discount, or double- priced clothes every where. Anyway, if you just want to enjoy the window shopping, then this store is certainly a paradise. They really decorate the store very well.

Genuinely the people who work here need to get out of Newport Beach and feel the real world. They want their workers to “talk” to customers then deem them to be too aggressive and disrespectful. Then I've even had fellow customers come up and tell me they were weirded out and caught employees recording them as well. And then ANTHROPOLOGIE wants a security guard but not the secure or guard part. I’ve seen them embarrassing the security guard at the door by going through his bags in front of customers. Like take that to the back! Honestly kudos to him cause I’m not sure how he can stand those women. I honestly feel bad. He has had to help my friends and I with locating things around the store, meanwhile the workers are hiding in the back and in corners discriminating. Not a welcoming place at all. I walked in TODAY and couldn’t find anybody for 7 days and 7 nights. This store is confused just like the people who work here. Responding isn’t being aggressive. Sad excuses for lil girl behavior, maybe consider hiring people who are in reality. I wouldn’t recommend shopping let alone working here. They are very fake and probably tell you that you look in something you don't. AND IF YOU CLOSE AT 8, LET THEM GO HOME AT 8.

Anthropologie in Fashion Island Newport Beach California Arguably the nicest and most comprehensive Anthropologie. Design Center , Clothes ,Accessories and more. Clean ,Well Lit , classy displays and helpful staff. Handicap Accessible

I so very much like Anthropologie and love the Fashion island store. I have to say that today when I used a fitting room it was incredibly dirty. Big dust bunnies and hair balls all over the floor. It’s not a good look Anthro!

I love Anthropologie. I've been shopping here for years when visiting America and always find something cute to buy, be it homeware, jewellery or trinkets. I was also really looking forward to checking out their extended sizes in clothing since now they stock it. But apparently, at the Fashion Island location, they don't want to be inclusive. The staff were a bit pretentious and snobby, and to find out they didn't carry the extended sizes was the final kick in the butt. Having said that, as much as I won't shop here again, this store is laid out beautifully (I mean, there is room to carry the extended sizes), and you can easily spend a lot of time browsing all they sell. There's room sprays, and furniture, and hair ties and everything in between. I'd recommend here for looking for something pretty to buy for your house or a treat, but there are other locations that are more inclusive and friendly.

I chose this hotel for a number of reasons: it is minutes away from the cliff walk and beach, the price is good compared yo other accommodations in the area and we needed a two bedroom suite. The breakfast was very basic; best to dine out and enjoy a morning meal. Our toilet was running when we entered the room and despite calling maintenance, this never got resolved so I had to downgrade my service category rating. Overall though, a nice stay!

The location and service are unbeatable. They have beach gear and bikes to use free of charge. It is right in the middle of a a bustling area of the beach. The room was just okay, it felt clean enough but a bit outdated. The staff were able to help us with several requests and went above and beyond expectations.

Staying at this hotel was such a fun experience for a long weekend vacation. It's location right on the beach near the bars and restaurants is unmatched - there's so much to do within walking or bike distance. The hotel has plenty of beach gear for guests to use for free, such as towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas, as well as some beach cruiser bikes. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with lots of recommendations and ideas for things to do. Can't wait to come back here again!

I have no idea why this hotel has positive ratings. The staff is impossible to work with. The hotel is outdated, moldy and does not smell good. Very disappointed with the check-in process, the quality of the hotel and the parking. Will not be coming back and I recommend not wasting your money. To make matters worse after a very long drive and finally checking in, the bed was dirty — multiple hairs in the bed. The only other clean room available was an obvious downgrade. I love hotels. I love traveling. This was a such disappointment.

Literally right on the beach. Cozy well kept rooms. Feels like staying at your favorite relatives home. Staff are incredible! Free beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, sun screen, and even bikes to explore with.

Neighbor to a bar making for very long/loud nights, unless that's your thing. Wished someone would have pointed it out. Great staff and views though.

We are locals but had a problem with our water supply in our home so we booked a room to stay at Pendry Newport . It’s was exactly what we needed to comfort us after a 24 hour flight . Everyone was friendly, professional and respectful. They helped secure our room although our booking didn’t come through so LUZ P. Did it manually to make things faster . The hotel itself is a 5 star gift to Newport Beach , from the decor to service its all more than perfect. The room was very nice and we had a nice ocean view . Thank you for coming to our neighborhood

Pendry Newport Beach is incredible. The bell service and front desk is outstanding — from the moment you arrive, they make everything seamless and welcoming. The staff is wonderful with kids, which makes the whole stay so enjoyable for families. The location is excellent, close to great shopping, dining, and the beach, and the food at the hotel itself is great. One small note: if you’re not into nightlife, the lower floors can be a bit noisy on weekend nights since there’s a lively scene. If you prefer quiet, I’d recommend requesting a higher floor.

The Hotel Pendry is nothing short of amazing! It may not be on the beach, but this is a true luxury hotel with a welcoming atmosphere. I hadn't been here in years, and I was blown away by the stunning facelift--it looks better than ever. Every detail is perfect, and you can tell the staff takes pride in their jobs. The value for the rooms is pretty reasonable considering the high-end experience, and the location is unbeatable--just a short walk to Fashion Island Mall. One experience that really stood out was at the valet. I parked for about 5 minutes, and the attendant was so understanding that he handed my keys back and said I didn't need to pay for such a short stay, even though it's normally $15 for an hour. It's little gestures like that which make this place exceptional. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in California to make up for lost time! Five stars all the way!

My husband and I just stayed at Pendry Newport Beach for the first time. We were celebrating our anniversary and I have to say they went above and beyond to make it special. Habib our bellman was so kind and accommodating. We were truly impressed with the service this hotel offers. The restaurant SET was delicious as well. We will definitely be staying at Pendry Newport Beach again, as well as other cities that they service.

This hotel service is def a 5 star. Rooms are very clean and equipped with all you need. The staff is extremely helpful. Restaurants and spaces are outstanding. It’s pretty close to a mall which makes it very convenient. I really enjoyed my stay and will def comeback for our the next private event.

Karchell was fantastic and so great at check in and we had the pleasure of checking out with her too. She was attentive and so sweet. Beatrice was great too--she was so fun to talk with while she was making my iced oat milk latte! Henry and Christopher at the pool bar were also awesome--they were great to chat with, they recommended good eats, personally I loved the mole chicken tacos, and they were overall good energy. While in the pool Jack and Allison were so great-attentive, kind, and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Great experience for sure--the bartenders were all fantastic too. The Pendry Bar was a total scene and it was enjoyable to observe all the different people coming in there. The rooms were fantastic--we were in a King Suite facing the ocean which was lovely. I appreciated all of the extra touches in the room and the cake the team left inside for my partner's birthday! I feel like SET should stay open later than 10:30 on a weekend evening which is my only recommendation.

Had another wonderful stay at The Pendry Newport Beach. The room was very nice and comfortable. We like to drive here from La Quinta to get away from the heat and love the fact you can walk to Fashion Island for shopping and dinner. The service is great and we love the coffee station in lobby. We enjoyed chatting with Brooklyn at the coffee station and would like to mention she is a great asset to The Pendry! We will be going back soon and highly recommend The Pendry.

The staff and doctors here are so kind and knowledgeable. I recently had a health issue with my kitty and they addressed all concerns and were able to resolve the problem swiftly and effortlessly. I’m very grateful to find such a loving place to bring my pets. Thank you!

We love Mariners Mile & Dr Whistler! She is so knowledgeable and kind. Our Shar pei, Mongo, has always had difficulty going to the vet but Dr Whistler makes the process as easy and comfortable as possible ❤️

Dr Nichols is super smart, always kind and makes herself available for urgent matters. Every time I’ve brought my dogs in, she knows exactly what the problem is and the confirmatory tests she runs always confirm her initial diagnosis. She has also found problems that I had not noticed and was able to treat them before they got bad. I highly recommend Mariners Mile Pet Clinic and am thankful for them all the time.

This review has taken me some time to write, but I feel it’s important to share. My cat died minutes after leaving our appointment at Mariners Mile Pet Clinic for a routine blood pressure check. It was a tech appointment, and the tech took her to the back for about 45 minutes. Finally, Dr Whisler brought our cat back out, and I was told that our cat did great. She said that they checked her vitals which were all good, and her blood pressure was normal. We left, and within a couple minutes, my cat collapsed in the car and died. We rushed her back to Mariners Mile Pet Clinic, but they were unable to revive her. Dr. Nichols came in and with absolutely no emotion told us that our cat was dead. We were shocked as she was fine and acting perfectly normal that morning, eating well and socializing with us like usual. I tried to ask Dr. Nichols what happened when our cat was in the back with the tech, but she pointed her finger at my chest and started yelling at me. I had never met Dr. Nichols before, but she was so rude and unprofessional to us. I cannot believe someone in the veterinary profession would act that way toward grieving pet owners whose pet just died minutes after being examined by their practice. I will never know what happened with our cat in the back during those 45 minutes when we were only there for a quick blood pressure check, but I will always regret bringing our cat to Mariners Mile Pet Clinic that day.

I've entrusted this vet practice for over 10 years for my Cavalier spaniels and love Dr Nichols and today brought my dog in to the newer vet Dr. Whisler. She gave my dog a comprehensive check and was so gentle and sweet to make my dog feel comfortable. I highly recommend Mariners Mile for a place your pet will feel loved and safe and for excellent care.

Doctors Nichols and Boyker and the entire team were incredible during Pete's lifetime. He went through some issues as many dogs do, and they were so kind to Pete but also very accessible and communicative to me. We got through torsion, stomach and personality issues. Truly, they were an integral part to the incredible and rewarding experience of living with this dog. Thanks for all the support during (and after!) my time with Pete. These folks are the best.

We are very happy with the way Dr. Nicholls takes the time and patience to explain to us about our pet "GEORGIE'S" test /lab results. We know our pet is in excellent hands. Dr. Nichols is a great Vet....very knowledgeable in her field. I have recommended my daughter and grand daughter to Dr. Nichols and they are very impressed with her. The staff there is very friendly and helpful.

All the employees at the shop seemed great but speaking on my experience personally- Simon was awesome! He showed me great options, gave me my space to decide and then packaged it perfectly. His suggestions were thoughtful, spot on, and made my experience really enjoyable. I was a first time customer but definitely will be returning.

Austin helped me find some great scents. He was super knowledgeable about every single one and had a passion for the products. He put zero pressure on me for a sale and just seemed to want to let me enjoy the Le Labo experience. I left with a bottle of the Lavande and three samples of their limited collection. They also make the perfume right there in front of you and have a great refill program. They’ve made a lifetime customer out of me!

Went there for Matcha 26. Received exceptional explanations and service from Simon concerning the other scents. A very kind individual with exemplary knowledge in Le Labo products. Will return for his expertise in the future!

Every time I visit the staff is sooo nice!!! I’ve had the best experience at this location compared to any other Le Labo boutique. Austin is super helpful and nice! They gave me a ton of information about each scent as to how long they last and how to wear them. I always visit this store and have even called this one to ask questions when I’m not in town. Great shopping experience! (They also gave me a great lunch recommendation too).

I love Le labo the brand but this location isn’t the best … I bought a bottle today and they wouldn’t give me a sample of another scent that I would’ve came back to but at a later time stating that “ we don’t give samples” while I was waiting another customer came in and they gave them 4 samples no questions asked and that customer didn’t even make a purchase !!! What a shame

This place is phenomenal! I go there because of my personal shopper, Kathy! She’s known me for 20 years! Kathy is always picking out amazing deals for me! Whether she’s finding me a new Hermes bag or new Cartier jewelry, the options at the store are so VAST! The owners are so sweet the team there is lovely but most importantly they know what you like and they keep you in mind & they let you when it comes to the store! So happy to know you all… Thanks for the vip attention ;)

Waste of time and energy-they didn’t want one thing out of my four bags of nice items, including Gucci, Steve Madden, Mishka Bagley, Zara, etc. Parking is a hassle you have to park a block away.

This is a consignment store that has been where the locals go to for many years. If the employees recognize you, they’re friendly, helpful and no problems. You can find various selection of designer clothing that is on average about $100+ dresses in particular, even though it is still less than retail it is expensive for pre worn/ washed clothing. You’ll find purses shoes, dresses blouses of a variety for a more mature aged buyer. The one thing that I was concerned about, is the video camera above the dressing room 4. Now, when I did mention it to the owner, she said it didn’t work and I said well honestly it makes people uncomfortable and if it doesn’t work, it should not be there. Honestly, it should not be there. Hopefully, they will make this correction soon.

extremely disappointed with their customer service and liability. I have sold couple items to them. the selling process is not transparent, and they will not tell you when they decide to put your items on sale for a fraction of the price. They called me few weeks after I left a Burberry Jacket there for sell, that this is off season and we cannot sell. I came home just to find out that the zipper was broken. I just removed all my items from the store. will NEVER sell with them again.

I would have liked to have known how the store was laid out or greeted by anyone of the 3 older sales ladies.... not a word. I just came from the beach so perhaps I wasn’t worthy of their attention. The gal who raced in with a bag of shirts with and without tags was thrilled to see them. She would be getting $89 for her resale items. Mostly noticed that most of the clothes were small and extra small. The best shoes were size 9’s . I was super disappointed that I drove out of my way on my way back to San Diego to check out this store. Thank you ladies.

A pleasant surprise hidden in the Vea hotel. First off their holiday decoration is gorgeous. The food didn’t look as appetizing as I expected and it tasted okey but decently priced given the location. We tried the turkey sandwich which had generous amount of cheese and on the juicy side. The burger was not the best burger but a good average version and a good portion of patty to cheese with a huge side of fries. The Caesar salad’s dressing was delicious but the lettuce was sloppily chopped and cut in huge pieces. The crab sushi was dry and bland (but I think the best sushi’s always belong to sushi places with Japanese chefs in charge). The kids loved their sliders (the cutest tiny sized sliders with crispy fries). The service was pretty good; super polite and nice host and attentive server. Overall worth a try, we’ll go back for another shot at other items on their menu.

My first experience at View at Vea was fantastic! I’m a huge fan of hotel restaurants and bars. we started at the pool bar for a first drink and then moved to View for our main experience. It was my friend’s birthday and immediately our server Luis went above and beyond to make us both feel special. We started with a bottle of white wine that he recommended an open table side for us. Since we’ve never been there, we asked for recommendations, and Luis gave us details on the dishes so we could make choices based on our preferences. We both loved our dinners! And we were just so excited and having such a good time that we didn’t get more pictures lol. But here are a few of our special night at View! I did get the burger and it was cooked perfectly medium rare, the fries were yummy too! My friend loved her meal as well. At the end our server surprised us with dessert, which was just a perfect way to end the evening. I can’t wait to return, and I will be asking for Luis as my server! I will say that the manager did stop by to make sure we were doing OK, and other staff made sure our waters, dirty plates, and experience were all beautifully maintained. Thank you to the staff for making my friend feel so special on her birthday, I will absolutely be bringing more friends by for all occasions!

We had excellent experience here! Our server, Alex was attentive, friendly and beyond expectations! I’m a hotel guest and my friend was my guest to join this dinner. Was able to push back appt from 6 to 6:30 on Sat night with no problems. Arrived 3 mins late but still got promptly seated. Foods were great and nice views from the high tables! Free valet up to 3 hrs with validation.

The dessert - Dubai chocolate and lobster were delicious. The service was quick and polite.

Upon arriving at the hostess stand , the tone was set. I was initially turned off because our table was given up after being 2 minutes past the 15 minute grace period although the restaurant seemed far from full. The hostess was not very pleasant , lacking eye contact what seemed like the entire time, although she did seat us elsewhere. Echoing many of the other reviews , the service was awful. They were inattentive , very slow to follow up , very slow to bring out food, no follow through on a pre requested birthday surprise even after alerting the manager on site for the evening . For context we arrived at 6:45p and left after 9 ( a party of 2). This draggggg of a dinner experience was not by choice . Now the food- truly tasteless and dry. See pictured the miserable sliders. Crab salad was sent back. The restaurant had some saving moments which were the sticky rice , fries and espresso martini , and a fully comped bill of all food. However, they alone are not worth referring this place . If they plan to survive , I highly encourage they improve the quality of their service all around from the top to the bottom and replace excuses with resolutions so customers leave happy. Not my experience unfortunately.

I would definitely give 0 stars if I could. The hostess was fine the check in was fine. The service was silent…. A woman came introduced herself gave us lukewarm water on a hott night and never returned. I literally came because of a video I seen posted on the internet. Out of all the amazing restaurants near by I specifically chose this one and was completely disappointed to say the least.

My husband and I stopped in on May 30, at about 4:30. We were welcomed in by a gentleman greeter that opened the door for us. When we walked in, there were no other customers in the store. My husband made himself comfortable on the couch, and watched as the employees completely ignored me. Not one hello. Three young woman were at the counter, another young employee was working with assorted clothing on a rack. Not one employee acknowledged us…the entire time we were in the store. They all had their cell phones out, not even talking to each other, just self involved. I walked into the other side of the store and one of the employees walked over and sat down where I was shopping. Still having her cell phone in hand not looking up once to acknowledge me. So disappointing. Is anyone else experiencing this Customer NO Service? I Will not return to this store.

I used to love this store . They had amazing sales associates . I recently walked into the store , no welcome . All the young sales associates were busy chatting , and being on their cellphones. Horrible customer service . So sad because I love the store but I would never step into the store again . What a shame

Place is the place to be. A very friendly and family oriented area to shop for your high end material needs. They are very honest and helpful at their service. They will even serve you a glass of wine for spending in their store. Floors are very clean. Come get legit stuff.

Purchased Dior sandels. I was sent home with the wrong size. Tried to bring back few days later to exchange for the correct size, they were unable to exchange for the correct size, or provide a refund. Poor service, poor policy. Without trying them on at home I wouldn't of known it was the wrong size, their mistake became my mistake and problem.

This was a super cool place to shop for really high-end merchandise! The staff was lovely! A little pricey for my budget, but I still managed to find a little something to bring home!

Order turkish towels 2 weeks ago. Chirp chirp. Called today to cancel order....oh we cannot do that and a supervisor is not available but as soon as it ships we can have it turned around and sent back.

Not only is this a lovely shop, but the customer service is spectacular. Everyone who works here is helpful and friendly. The selection is vast so if I want to show a client something up close, I know I can usually find it here. I had back surgery recently and every time I've shopped here, Jane, the manager has helped me get my purchases to my car. They also carry lots of gift items. One of my favorite spots!

I put in a 6000 order in March and I am still waiting for my 3000 table. Every time I check on status, the date gets pushed back. I tried getting store manager’s help to get compensated since i missed the 25% sale but she said she has no authority. I emailed customer service. Cute stuff, but not worth the wait. Every thing is sent out piecemeal. I am stuck because the table goes with the chairs that i have had for awhile and i cannot return them. What the sales person says on delivery date is absolutely false! I will update this if i get a response with my email complaint to customer service. Go to Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware, better customer service and estimated delivery dates are more accurate. **Update - manager intervened and a credit was issued of the difference of sale price/ my perfect table finally arrived. It was worth the wait since the dimensions work well with my kitchen.

Do not order from this company anything custom upholstered - or large delivered through their white glove service in CA. I’ve spent thousands and had too many delays, lost furniture and hours waiting on hold to get any costumer service. Very disappointing. Pillows and in stock small items come quickly though.

I loved coming here to eat some bear flags and walk around the cute area. I recently parked here and I came back to my car missing along with others’ cars being towed. It’s just so wrong that a person would just be constantly watching if we’ve ate or walked across the street and immediately tow our car. It’s safe to say I will not be coming back here again. I came to eat with my grandma and mom who I barely get to see and they had to witness us trying to retrieve our car and also paying a hefty $540 fee. If you’re reading this beware of Felix. He’s the man who reported us and had our cars towed along with a whole bunch of others that were in the same area.

I went to go work from a café, and didn’t realize the parking lot I parked in wasn’t affiliated with the restaurant I went to, but that it was a whole different plaza altogether, as the names of the plazas have similar bougie variations of the name “Lido”, and everything is very close to each other. I come to find out that without a single warning “~*BeCaUsE tHeRe WeRe SiGnS*~”, so my car got towed, and I owed $569. I tried to call this company to explain my situation, but no one would answer.

I have become increasingly uneasy about visiting this center due to a concerning issue I've encountered. While I genuinely appreciate the plaza and the various establishments it offers, such as Bear Fish Flag Co and others, there appears to be an individual referred to as the "Car Cowboy" who actively engages in towing vehicles. This situation has unfolded multiple times at the Starbucks location, where I have witnessed numerous vehicles being towed away. In an attempt to clarify the regulations, I approached this person to inquire about any time restrictions for parking. Surprisingly, they informed me that no such limits exist. I am perplexed as to how they monitor and determine whether patrons have left or are still present within the center. This lack of transparency has left me feeling anxious, as I fear that my own vehicle might be towed despite remaining within the premises, just like what has happened to others. Therefore, I am compelled to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs at this center. It is disheartening that a place I once enjoyed visiting now evokes such discomfort and apprehension. I kindly request that immediate attention be given to this matter to ensure a fair and consistent approach to parking enforcement, and to restore a sense of safety and trust among visitors to the plaza.

I’m not going to life, I still trip out sometimes from the fact that I’m finally sober. I can’t believe that I am 100% drug free. Rehab was really tough, and it’s still tough, but they really set me up with a solid foundation to keep strong with my sobriety.

This drug treatment center saved my life from alcohol abuse. I’ve been clean for more than 12 months and also a lot of my friends from the center, people who became really important in my life, they understood or had my same problems, are all still doing great.
