I’ve read a lot how demanding this road can be… to be honest I found it quite soft. You can see the road on one of my photos. The most challenging part might probably be driving backwards on this narrow road when two cars must pass each other.

It's fantastic. We were there with my family. The views are impressive, and just walking the Skywalk is a challenge, especially for those with anxiety. It's definitely worth a trip there as a break from the beach and sea. You drive there by car. It's a bit tricky to pass oncoming cars, but with a little practice, it shouldn't be a problem. The hike up Sveti Jure Mountain is a bit more challenging; it gets tricky from there, and in my opinion, less experienced drivers drive at their own risk.

My wife and I went on a trip up the Biokovo Skywalk. We were picked up 5 minutes before the agreed time at our hotel in Tučepi, and then had an extremely good trip, where our driver showed great professionalism and had great knowledge about the trip we were on. We can highly recommend Budanko Travel and a trip to the Biokovo Skywalk.

Nugal Beach, situated approximately 2 km south of Makarska city on the Makarska Riviera, is a well-known natural haven. It is celebrated for its secluded ambiance and stunning surroundings. The beach features soft white sand nestled between sheer rocky cliffs and is famous as Croatia's most popular nudist beach.
Beautiful beach — about a 30-minute walk through the park from Osejava beach, right at the end of the port in Makarska. Super easy trail, even with small kids. Gorgeous cliffs, colors, and views all along the way. Lots of shade and a few benches here and there.
The beach itself is amazing — next to a big rock wall, with plenty of trees and spots to hide from the sun. Even in May, with maybe 20-30 people around, there were a few nudists. The wall has spray-painted signs saying “no nudists,” but they’re crossed out — so yeah, looks like there’s been some kind of back-and-forth about it.
Either way, the beach is super accessible, which makes it kinda awkward when older naked dudes just hang out in plain sight while there are kids around. Not cool. But hey, that’s on the people, not the place.
The beach itself? Brilliant. Just check out the photos. Easy walk into the water, crystal clear sea. Really, really nice.

A dreamy path leads to the beach. However, the nude beach was very small and didn’t really feel like a proper nude beach (only a few people).
This was the best beach we’ve visited during our trip in Croacia. We parked the car in Kaufland and walked around 20 min to get there. Google maps provided the route and it worked well. We went on a Sunday during June and it wasn’t crowded. There’s no services so make sure to bring some food/water
The beach is beautiful, but since people with children started coming here, it is no longer a nudist beach — now everyone wears clothing.
Be aware if you’re looking for FKK beaches: this one is no longer one of them!
Nugal Beach, located near Makarska on the Croatian coast, is a true hidden paradise for those willing to go off the beaten path. Reaching the beach requires a moderate hike through a forest trail that winds along rocky terrain and eventually descends a steep cliffside — sturdy shoes and a sense of adventure are essential. The walk may be challenging, especially under the summer sun, but once you arrive, you’re greeted by a stunning, secluded cove surrounded by dramatic cliffs and untouched nature.
The beach itself is small and made up of fine pebbles, with incredibly clear, turquoise water that invites you to swim and relax for hours. It’s peaceful and uncrowded, partly due to the difficult access, and it maintains a wild, almost untouched feel. It’s also known as a clothing-optional beach, so nudists are a common sight, adding to the laid-back, free-spirited atmosphere.
There are no facilities, shops, or shade, so bring everything you need — water, snacks, and sun protection are a must. Despite these limitations, or perhaps because of them, Nugal Beach remains one of the most beautiful and authentic beach experiences in the region. If you’re willing to make the effort to get there, you’ll be rewarded with serenity, natural beauty, and some of the clearest water you’ll ever swim in.
There is a Parking available about 45 mins away cost 15€ all day nice to visit if you don't mind the walk

Worth to visit!! 15min climb from kaufland, make sure that you wear shoes. Arrive before 9:00.. Parking is expensive at the Kaufland, if you use bmove app its better to park lil bit further.
Beautiful beach just 30 minutes away from Makarska! Accessible by breathtaking hiking rail! Beach is clean with plenty of shadow! Recommended!
P.S. this is a clothes optional beach, we were not aware of it, but there were few nudists around. Everyone was respectful though

Makarska Beach stretches for a long distance, offering crystal-clear water, smooth pebbles, and a lively promenade lined with cafés and shops. Perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and soaking in the vibrant coastal atmosphere.
Immaculate place, beautiful sea views, this is place where you can relax. From the 1st of June you have to pay for beach deck chairs, till this time it was free!
In May water is a bit cold yet. Also you have to wear special shoes if swimming in order not to hurt you feet. Toilets are somewhere on the coast line, but cabins are usually closed. You have to ask keys in bar of cafe nearby and give it back. I didn’t find any open showers, either paid or free
Along the beach coast there are a lot of cafe and restaurants. Portions are usually big. Be ready to spend not less then 10€ per person for a light meal, and 20€ per person for substantial. Or Even more, depends on the restaurant and type of meals
You can also rent a bicycle there or another electric transport
at the beach in front of the "hotel park", there is a sewage pipe that leaks onto the beach. it gives off a terrible smell and I think it's not very hygienic either
Great Beach for Fun and Convenience!
Makarska Beach is a fantastic spot with a lively atmosphere and plenty to do. The long stretch of pebbly shore is great for sunbathing, and the clear, blue water is perfect for a refreshing swim. What really makes this beach stand out is how well-equipped it is. You can easily rent sunbeds and umbrellas, and there are lots of cafes, restaurants, and snack bars right along the promenade, so you never have to go far for a drink or a bite to eat.
It's a very family-friendly beach, and the shade from the pine trees behind the beach is a huge bonus on a hot day. It can get busy, but the energy is great and there's a lot of space. If you're looking for a beach that has everything you need for a fun, easy-going day, this is the one!
Lovely beach, nice with the trees hanging over and give you some shade too, it has alot of pebbles so we bought beach footwear for going in the water and beach mat so we wouldn't need to pay for sun loungers. Very scenic place.
Nice landscape but the beach is badly maintained… trash bins are not common for this place, you need to walk 100-150 mt to find one, on top around noon they are already full, so as a result people are throwing trash where they sit.. or just make mountains of trash next to the bins.. showers are not for free (1€/30 sec), toilets as well 2€, so you can imagine people do their needs right into the water, as a result a lot of cases of rotovirus amongst tourists.. lots of bakeries and local serving food but only for cash, no card/applepay, feels like you’re back to 1990s.. waiters are quite irritative and really welcoming people with sever faces :) we went there as it was 4.5stars but didn’t get for what they got such high rating.. May be it was a good place 10 years ago but not in 2024.. try to find something better.. places are occupied by people at 6:00 so when you come around 9:00 you see not many people but all beach is “reserved” with towels ..

We had a wonderful time visiting the Makarska Observatory. We had the chance to observe the moon like never before through a telescope. We even got to take a photo THROUGH The telescope to have as a memory. We were given lots of information and you could feel the love the director showing you the universe. Ten out of ten! Go if you have the chance!

A Stellar Experience
Nestled on a hill surrounded by trees, the Makarska Observatory offers surprisingly good viewing conditions despite its central location within the city. very interesting informative presentations given by the staff, which cover a wide range of astronomical phenomena.
Highlights of the visit included captivating close-up views of the Moon, intriguing glimpses of supernova remnants, and fascinating observations of double star systems.
The visit was very pleasant and highly enjoyable, making it a recommended stop for anyone interested in the night sky.
A pleasant place. The host gave the impression of a calm yet passionate person with an interest in space.
The duration of the activity for one group is approximately 20 minutes. Our group viewed three different celestial bodies. The host didn’t overload us with information about them, and it was interesting and easy to follow, and simple to translate ( if needed) from English into another language (accessible for any tourist).
It operates only three days a week, so this should be taken into account when planning, and it’s also worth checking the weather.
A small observatory just 5 min from the beach. During summer months be ready to stand in a line (we had to stand for 1,5 hour) because of the Corona rules. Only 5 people or 1 family are allowed to be in a dome. Price is 30 Kn for adults and 15 Kn for children. We saw Saturn and an exploding star!
P.S. Another challenge is to find a parking space in that area.
It’s a small observatory, but the host is kind and he’s willing to explain things related to space, equipment and even UFOs which is not what would you expect from religion teacher.
If you are in Makarska it is definitely worth visiting the Observatory.
It is a fantastic experience. We were there in August and saw Saturn and its rings, a 400 year old star, and a 2000 year old ring nebula.
The guide is very patient and extremely knowledgeable.
You get a tour of the night sky for 30,00 HRK (cca. 4 €), but the experience is priceless. It seems that not a lot of tourists know about this place, so there are no long waiting times. Will visit again. 12/10

Skywalk Biokovo, located in the Biokovo Nature Park, is a popular attraction that offers breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding islands. Visitors can also explore hiking trails within the park for a more immersive experience. It's recommended to book tickets online and plan your visit strategically to avoid crowds on the road leading up to the skywalk.
Amazing view, whole platform have glass panels, so you feel like walking in the sky. Driving up is bit tricky, but worth a it. Go by smaller car. Weather can change in minute, you never know if it will be cloudy or not, take a risk!

Absolutely amazing experience! The views from Skywalk Biokovo are breathtaking - you can see the whole Makarska Riviera, islands and the mountains at the same time. The glass platform is exciting but feels safe, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Try to go early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid queues and enjoy cooler weather. Totally worth the drive (don’t have to be pro, but extra careful advisory) and the ticket price!
Worth the journey, provided you have pre-booked your tickets. You need to book (at least) a day ahead for a time slot to enter the park. Once in, you can spend as long as you like within the park and on the skywalk itself. Stunning views from the skywalk, better than the pictures portray and it gives a sense of ‘floating’ above the coast below. The drive up can easily take 20min, so make sure to accommodate time for that.
Amazing experience. Well worth the views. We paid on the day and did not pre book. We visited in October and it was not crowded. The road is narrow and precarious in places, especially driving to the highest point. Take a jumper or jacket particularly in the later months.. it can get cold at the top. Beautiful scenery... worth a visit!
Went as part of an coach excursion so had priority access. Cars can wait upto 30 minutes. Saw amazing views of tucepi and makarska and islands of Hvar and Brac. Then enjoyed a walk into Biokovo national park
We parked behind the church in upper Tucepi and walked towards the village of Podpeč, turned right along the footpath as the Garmin led in the direction of the Biokovo road and after 2 and a half hours we reached the skywalk, which was closed on 1.11.2025, but it is possible to take wonderful photos on the right. This path is easy and after 1 hour on foot there is a spring of water. You need to have at least 1l of water per person. The path from the Jabuka Tavern is also marked, it is more strenuous and goes straight up the hill, it is very strenuous and steep, the skywalk is currently closed.
Went over here and was there for about an hour.

It's 14 kilometers from down to the actual Skywalk.
I highly recommend getting tickets in advance if you don't want to wait longer.
Also, the line gets a little long so it kinda blocks the road for a few moments before you get to drive up to the Skywalk.
There was some cows blocking the road on the way down.
There's also some wild horses up there.
For cyclists a must if you are in the area. You can come via your car (be prepared for narrow roads), motorcycle. Many tourist transfers options as well. Pick your favourite transfer and enjoy life. Skywalk build was funded by Euro funds!

Botanical garden
Nestled near the village of Kotisina, the Botanical Garden is not your typical garden but rather a sprawling 16.5-hectare mountainside filled with diverse flora. It's an interesting excursion, especially if the weather isn't ideal for seaside activities. Accessible by car and featuring small paths, it's suitable for families with children aged three and above. The rocky hike through the garden is particularly enjoyable in cooler fall temperatures, offering scenic views over Makarska harbor.

Unfortunately the citadel and the church wasn't open, so we just walk around. We found a pump so we can drank. I think this was a pleasant trip.
A stone staircase led up to the citadel. The path is easy with minimal ascent. Sports shoes are recommended.

Interesting trip in case of bad weather during your sea time. You can use Google Map where is Botanical garden well shown. Dont be affraid to go by car as far as possible. Is not necessary to let your car in close village. We visited garden during hot and dry time so yes, plants were there, but not so green and with blooms what we expect. Trip is interesting for 3+ children too because lot of small paths etc. It is good to see but it is not a must.

peace and quiet not far from the town. do not listen to this "local guide" - you must park in the village and hike up to the botanical garden and as far as the fortress remains. bring water and hiking shoes. be respectful - this botanical garden is old and unlike any in the region, with its abundance of native and endemic plants.
Nice botanical garden with a peaceful and natural flair. The place is somewhat hard to find. However, walking uphill through the garden to the castle (which is built into the mountain) grants a great view.

Located within the Franciscan monastery of St. Mary, the Malacological Museum is a fascinating attraction founded by scientist and monk Friar Jure Radic in 1963. The museum boasts an impressive collection of over 3,000 seashell specimens from the Adriatic and around the world, making it Croatia's most renowned malacological collection.
I have been coming to this little pearl of a museum for years since I have been a child and it never fails to charm me and make me wish mermaids are real and I can grow a tail. It is a bit raw and not particularly polished but I feel that is part of its charm. It obviously was a labor of love. And the little courtyard where the museum is set is just so pretty, just wished it is used a bit differently.

I've recently paid a visit to this place as I had been told multiple times of an impressive collection of fossils and shells coming from multifarious countries of their provenance which I could find in this museum. I came there to see these for myself and as a matter of fact the collection surpassed my expectations due to the impressive sizes of particular pieces of fossils and their huge array. Sightseeing lasted about 30 minutes and the price for an admission ticket was quite reasonable. But if you're a student or a child, you are entitled for a reduced ticket, which compared to the standard one costs way less so it pays off to make sure to bring student id cards. Another thing about the Malacological Museum in Malarska is that even if you don't speak Croatian the staff will willingly tell you about the exhibition in English to make your visit worthwhile.
Beautiful little shell museum, good varied collection. You can see everything quickly in 20 minutes or take your time appreciating maybe up to an hour.

Very interesting place to visit and specially with kids. Would highly recommend it. There is a great variety of shells from around the world, impressive exhibit of corals, and some big turtle shells. We enjoyed touching a giant clam. It vas refreshing, felt like a marble. Glad we visited. I would say it's informative just about enough to digest when visiting.

An amazing collection of shells in an old monastery, it made for a nice, calming break out of a busy day. It’s a good experience for the price (€4 per adult).
A beautiful, beautiful collection of sea shells by the sea shore! Both my wife and I loved it so much. If you're ever near Makarska, you have to come see this collection of more than 3000 shells from all over the world - they are mesmerizing! All the museum lacks is a gift shop, because I would love to take some of them home with me! The displays inside are impeccable, but one small remark for the staff: clean up a little bit the ones that are outside in the courtyard (does not hurt the experience, though). We'll be back there soon, I hope.
The Malacological Museum is a hidden gem that survived against all odds. Tucked inside the Franciscan Monastery in Makarska, it was founded in 1963 by Dr. Fra Jure Radić, a friar and scientist who started collecting shells in the days of Yugoslavia. Absolutely beautiful park that connects the town and port, right by the promenade and stretching toward the southern side under Makarska.
There are a few paths to choose from, but I’d definitely recommend the one closest to the water — amazing cliff and sea views. The terrain is super varied too, with rocky spots, little hills, and different levels — one path runs much lower than the other, which makes the whole walk more interesting.
Along the way you’ll find a few benches, plenty of shade, and the whole walk takes about 30 minutes to get to Nugal beach.
The views? Unreal. The colors? Stunning. Just a perfect spot.
Winding paths lead through rocky terrain at varying elevations, revealing dramatic cliff- and sea‑side views throughout. Warning - wear good walking shoes and bring water as the paths to the various “beaches” are long, steep, and primarily rock.
Very nice place for a short walk in the nature - it is an easy track however you can take beautiful pictures. I would recommend you to come here before sunset so you can see it from above, it is breathtaking, you will enjoy it for sure. After the sun is set down, you still have like 30 minutes to go back to the city - during the night I donw recommend to go without flashligh because of rocky road it could be dangerous. Definitely if you come here, come in hiking shoes or at least running shoes - definitely not in “slippers” (you would regret doing so)

This is a lovely walk around the coast of makarska with lots of shaded spots when its too hot... you see st peters statue with amazing views of makarska and lots of photo opportunities. You see st peters churchin the walk and see the cliff jumping spot where the brave ones jump into the sea.. we stood and watched for a while. The walk takes about 30 mins depending on rests and photo stops. Lovely stroll but this is bit rocky and uneven in places.. need good shoes

Great beach. You can actually walk from this one to the other one and it takes you 10mins.
Side note, it's not a sandy beach. You have to pay 10€ for parking ticket which is valid for the whole day. The sunbeds cost 10€ and they give you a receipt after payment. If someone wants to charge you for using the sunbeds and gives you no receipt, that's a scammer. So be careful. There are some around to scam people!

Beautiful beach where you can go with your dog. The water is beautiful, crystal clear, not as crowded as the central beaches and much nicer than them. There is a bar, a toilet and a shower so it is well equipped, but you can only pay in cash. You can almost completely go down to the beach by car, but during the busiest period it is very difficult to find a parking space, parking was 8 euros.

Hiking area
Biokovo - vrh Vošac offers a variety of popular hiking trails, such as the Makar- Vosac tour and Pod Voscom - Vosac - Strbina. The walk from Makar to Biokovo provides stunning views of several islands and the coastline, taking around 2-3 hours with a medium level of difficulty. It's recommended to start early in the summer due to the lack of water along the way.
This hiking trail is challenging, going up was easier then going down because the loose rocks make it harder going down. The trail is well marked and easy to find from makarska. I drove to the start of the trail, easy to find the free parking lot. I wore running shoes but would recommend hiking shoes for foot comfort and stability. It took me 2.5 hours to go up and 2 hours to come down. I was in the shade 90% of the time but I started at 5:15am because temperatures for the day were going up to 37 degrees Celsius.

Since I was visiting Makarska riviera for the 3rd time already, sitting mainly on the beach, this year I was looking for adventures!
The trail was a bit challenging from the 3/4 of the path for me and might be hard as well for unprepared hikers. But, overall, the trail is in a good condition, there are no chances to get lost.
I highly recommend everyone who would like to go hiking by this trail to come by car almost to the start of the trail (you’ll save a half an hour of time and some energy) - I didn’t know about that hint and walked approximately 2.5km uphill from the seaside to get there.
I was hiking on the last week of June and I also recommend to start at 4-4:30 am, so that you’ll be on the top of the mountain at ~7am and won’t suffer from the sunshine.
The nature along the trail is stunning and the view from the top of the mountain is truly unforgettable!
Take more water and don’t forget a sandwiches to have an unbelievable breakfast on the top ;)
If you love hiking, this is a must! There are two possible ways from Makarska. One through Makar and one through Veliko Brdo. I went from Makarska harbour to Veliko Brdo and back through Makar.
The views are amazing! It's just wonderful.
Keep the following in mind:
- you start at 0m and go to 1400m
- the path is steep and full of calcit rocks and gravel which are slippery when wet
- the weather can change quickly
- there is no restaurant at the top
So, please!
- bring a good pair of hiking shoes that stick well to slippery rocks
- bring some walking sticks
- don't forget enough water and something small to eat
- start early, reach the mountain around 8-9am where the view is clear
- follow the marked path
Great hike, very fun and a lot of different views and vegetation. From a green moon-crater landscape to sheer cliffs of grey rock. The path is well-marked and easy to follow, once you've found the beginning (we started at the paragliding sign off the main Biokovo road, after entering the park by car). Just keep moving towards the little house on top of the peak! Also be sure to check out the views of Makarska from several spots, for example the spot where the paragliders supposedly jump from and the viewpoint where the path to Makar crosses the path to Vosec peak. The hike is sometimes a bit moderate when climbing. It's definitely not as hard as when starting from Makar, as I see most other revies talking about. Use sportive shoes or hiking shoes, bring water, some snacks, and a few layers of clothes. Also: hardly any cellular reach.
Vošac isn't even among the highest summits of Biokovo but it is special for being positioned in the first line of summits overlooking the coast and maritime slopes of the mountain. Therefore it is very picturesque and provides one of the most popular panoramas in Croatia with the town of Makarska and the sea to the west and vast, strong mountain to the east.
It can be easily reached by a half-hour hike from the nearby road or by an exhausting ascent from Makarska. It is occupied by a small mountain hut made from stone which is opened in summer. Definitely a checkpoint for both tourists and genuine mountaineers.

- Narrow Entry:The pebbly section leading into the sea is quite narrow, and the few people present tend to occupy this space, making it even more challenging to access the water comfortably.
- Parking and Access: We parked at the Bluesun Hotel Jadran's parking lot, which costs 15 euros per day. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to the beach. I recommend wearing shoes for the walk, as the path is quite rocky.
Other Considerations:
- Nudist Presence: During our visit, there were relatively many nudists, although this is not officially a nudist beach. If this is a concern, it might be best to choose another location.
Perfect nudist beach. Seen some textiles there, but they behave and normally don t stop at this beach for long. Can be busy at daytime, but still plenty of room under the pine trees.
This cosy beach is very nice, water cleaner than other crowded beaches around. But it is in NUDIST territory! We did not know it and visited it with kids, quite unpleasant although the only nude couple was around the corner. The other families were normal ones.
From Tucepi there are two ways: one coming from the hill side south-east is quite steep for kids, the other one along the beach not showed on map and going via nudist beach.
Just an FYI, it is not FKK anymore. However, still beautiful and the water is clean and free of sea hedgehogs. However, the beach is quite small and only a few people can fit comfortably here. In order to get there, we took the path on top of the hill, however, the one which goes on the larger main beach, on the shore, is way faster.

Biokovo Nature Park is a mountainous national park offering hiking trails, rock-climbing, and stunning views of the landscape. The entrance fee for adults is around 10 euros. Access to the Skywalk can be challenging due to limited vehicle capacity, but the breathtaking views make it worth the effort. The road to the Skywalk is narrow and demanding, but once there, visitors are rewarded with fantastic panoramic vistas.
Absolutely breathtaking experience at Biokovo Skywalk. The views are out of this world — the Adriatic stretching endlessly below, islands floating in the distance, and the glass platform gives you that amazing thrill without feeling unsafe. But what really stood out to me is how untouched the whole park feels. It’s wild, raw, and real — we even saw horses and cows grazing freely along the mountain roads.
That said, YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND: this is a nature park, not a polished tourist attraction. This is a narrow, winding mountain road shared by cars, motorcycles, and bicycles — and sometimes horses and cows. GOOD DRIVING SKILLS ARE ESSENTIAL!!! You must be able to handle tight spaces, back up confidently, and park parallel without stress.
Most importantly, leave your ego at the entrance. Everyone shares the road equally; no one is more important than anyone else. Be patient, courteous, and respectful toward others — that’s the only way everyone can safely enjoy this beautiful place.
We came unprepared without an online ticket, but the staff was very kind and told us we could wait in the parking lot while purchasing it online. We had five minutes to complete the purchase, then joined the line. In total, we waited about an hour. They let in around 20 cars every hour, but it depends on how many visitors are already in the park — people can stay as long as they want, so entrance is regulated to preserve the experience and the environment. Skywalk is such a good and a bit scary experience if you are afraid of heights. But don't worry, it's completely safe! And view is majestic!
Tip extreme will take you up and down the mountain safely in comfy small orange buses. Very professional and friendly guides, AMAZING drivers make sure you enjoy yourself with some local delicasies whilst absorbing stunning views and nature. Definitely wear wind proof jacket and trousers, it’s windy and cold at the top on the skywalk. Prepare for an adrenaline filled drive down the mountain when cars have to pass by the coach on the narrow road. There is only one road going up and down. We are happy we chose this company to drive us safely.
Purchase of tickets online was easy but advance booking is recommended. Even in Oct, there were only few slots left for some timings.
The drive up is difficult as the lane is shared by cars going up & down. Was nerve wrecking to be so close to the rocks or the fence-less sides when giving way to oncoming cars.
Driving on Amalfi coast is now considered easy after Biokovo.
Entered the park at 10am and took 30mins to drive up to the skywalk. Proceeded to drive to the highest point, Sv. Jure, which took us another 30mins. As you get closer, the drive becomes more demanding but still do able.
The landscapes change as you drive higher up. Along the way, we saw horses! I would definitely recommend going to the summit as the views even more fantastic. Biokovo turned out to be more one of our fav sights in our Croatia road trip.
Awesome experience driving to the top . It is 14 km drive and narrow street. The move you go up the better the view becomes..
It was unfortunately cloudy so we did not had good view from the skywalk but the experience to go to the top was amazing.
Skywalk is cool but it's maybe 15 minutes. The ride up and down are very cool, great views, hairpins and steep dropoffs. A great view from the top, a fire devastated this area and they are in the process of cutting and stacking the trees. We're not sure why they have the timed entry we must have encountered at least 30 cars on our way up.
This skywalk is a curved, glass-bottom walkway on a mountain ridge in Biokovo Nature Park. You'll get the feeling of floating in the sky at an elevation of 4,000 feet—not an experience for the faint of heart! You need to buy tickets online in order to get a spot to drive up the mountain at a selected time, otherwise you're out of luck. You get a determined amount of time up on the mountain / walkway, but it's highly worth it.
Interesting views if there are less clouds - and you have to be lucky for that. Drive is tricky up the mountain roads but views enroute are worth it
