Farm
Swans Trail Farms offers a variety of activities for visitors, including a petting farm, wagon rides, and a u-pick apple orchard. Families can enjoy live duck races and watch Farmer Ben's Famous Four Little Pigs Show. The farm also features photo opportunities, a low ropes course, and animal encounter areas. Visitors can climb giant hay bale stacks and explore the corn maze.
This is the farm you want to go to! If it’s just a couple or a full family there is a place for you at this farm. The Cider House was spectacular! Try a flight and enjoy the view. The pumpkin garden was unbelievable! This is my annual favorite, definitely recommend!

I visited this farm and had a fantastic time. It only opened a couple of days ago, so there weren't many people there, and I was able to fully enjoy everything. Everything was very organized, the atmosphere was great, and I could even say it was cozy. Parking was very accessible. The food and cider were perfect. We had a great time and were excited to celebrate the arrival of autumn 😍
Ksenya V — Google review
This place was so much fun! My husband and I took our two boys (10 &7) to visit for the fall festival. We spent 4 hours there and still didnt get to do all they had to offer. We did a cow train, hay ride, corn maze, pumpkin garden, jungle gym, hay pyramid, duck race, animal farm, apple cider donuts, apple cider flight, hot apple cider, hot cocoa and the zip lines. My boys had a great time, the staff were friendly and helpful, everything was clean, the corn maze was the best ive ever seen, the fact that its set up like WA state was extra great. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we all highly recommend this farm to others. :) thanks so much for the great family day out, Swan Trail Farms.

Our little girl had so much fun at her 1st pumpkin patch experience. The u pick patches and food area are free to enter and the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. There were pumpkins of all sizes and color to choose from. The food was really surprising. Didn’t get a picture of everything but everything was pretty delicious! Cider donuts 10/10- fresh, moist, sweet. Pumpkin bar latte 10/10 - not too sweet and alittle different than a pumpkin pie latte Pumpkin chili 8/10- mine was lukewarm but it was good. Didn’t taste too different from regular chili Carmel Apples were HUGE. A really good deal compared to the state fair. Cookie was so good. Has a deep molasses flavor. Great place to take the family and has a large parking lot. Feel like this place offered great value overall.
Paul L — Google review
Excellent place for autumn! The farm is big and there are plenty activities to do: 🎃 The pumpkin patch has a lot of different pumpkins to choose, variating in colors and sizes. It has a great scenery for pictures, we even witnessed a proposal 🫶 🌽 The corn maze is not hard, it was entertaining 🐐You can pet small goats and see other animals 🍎 There is an orchard to pick apples, we didn’t do that, but how lovely the idea of picking some and then baking pie at home 🛍️ Nice shop, my friend and I got the cutest plushies that come inside a can. Lots of thingies to look around 🍟 Food is amazing. The apple-cider doughnuts are INCREDIBLE, caramel apple so good too, brisket and fries were also good. There’s also corn and other foods:) the line to the food went fast Others: There’s where to wash hands outside public toilets and petting goats activity Women-only restrooms, which I appreciate Good parking spaces Recommend!

Amazing place! Our family had such a wonderful time—there’s something fun for all ages. The apple cider donuts are absolutely delicious, and everything is so well organized. Highly recommend!
Ganna K — Google review
We love Swans Trail! It’s great because they have no admission fee to get in, so you just have to pay for the things you get or do. We like to do a walk through the apple orchard (it’s so quiet and smells so good, especially after rain!) then, go grab some food and cider. Highly recommend the elote and doing a flight of cider. Then of course, get some pumpkins! They have a great selection of types of pumpkins, colors, and sizes. And totally fair prices, as well! We paid about $30 for 3 medium sized pumpkins for carving and a couple of extra small ones for decor. We don’t have any kids, but the kid areas look like so much fun, there is so much to do with the littles! Definitely feel like this is by far the best pumpkin patch in the Seattle-adjacent area.
Courtney J — Google review
Three generations of our family spent the day at Swans Train Farm celebrating our grandson’s third birthday. A good time was had by all! The weather was rainy on and off. We took advantage of all the covered actives when it sprinkled the corn building, the chicks, the slide and the tractor ride. When the sun came out we enjoyed the corn maze, the pig show, the tractor ride, the magical pumpkin patch! It is really a fun place!

Mountainview Blueberry Farm, located in Snohomish, offers a unique experience with its 9 acres of blueberry fields featuring exclusive blueberry varieties. Visitors can enjoy picking their own delicious and plentiful blueberries while strolling through the open rows without feeling crowded. The farm also hosts an annual sunflower festival with 25 varieties of sunflowers to pick and a butterfly release, adding to the charm of the visit.
We had our first-ever blueberry picking experience here, and it was fantastic! The farm is spacious, well-organized, and has plenty of parking, which made our visit stress-free. Entry is free, and you only pay for the blueberries you pick, which is great. Our boys absolutely loved it—they had so much fun exploring and picking blueberries. We’ll definitely be coming back next season.

Had a great experience at Mountainview Blueberry Farm! The Collins blueberries are big, sweet, and easy to pick. $3.35 per pound is a good price. A wonderful place for kids and seniors. Highly recommend!

💙🫐💙This is my favorite blueberry farm! It’s well maintained and the berries are super sweet and delicious. I first visited last year, and I’ve already been twice this summer. Definitely planning to come back every year. I just love it!
Leezy — Google review
The blueberries there are so juicy. We got so much. I think we will have enough blueberries to last us at least a month. There is too much blueberries. There is lots of sizes of buckets to pick from. We picked the 10 lb. There is also sunflowers which u can also harvest. We had the best time at the sunflowers. They were better than ours. U can take pics there.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ U-Pick Blueberries • 9 acres of blueberry fields with several unique and heirloom varieties • Open Wednesday to Sunday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (closed Monday & Tuesday) • No ticket required for blueberry picking—just show up and grab a bucket!l. Mountainview Blueberry Farm in Snohomish, WA is a picturesque, family-friendly destination that blends berry picking with scenic charm. • Season: July 9 – August 31 (crop-dependent)

We've done U-pick for a few years now. They've changed their hours since the last two years - being open Wed thru Sun. Free parking. Free admission. You pay per pound you pick. (Note there is a minimum...I want to say it's 2lbs?) There are different size buckets you can choose from to store the berries you pick. I typically aim for the 4 pound bucket. Their website is updated daily during their U-pick season to know what is being offered. Friendly staff. Likely to return as it's close by (25 min north of me).
Jackie E — Google review
We had fun at the farm, especially with the kid able to play while also enjoying the view.

Mountainview Blueberry Farm is so beautiful! Your visit starts by driving through the gate and then winding down the road onto the farm. The view of the valley with the mountains behind it, reminds you just how the farm got it's name. So many varieties of big, juicy, sweet berries. It doesn't take long to fill your bucket. The employees are incredibly helpful and you can tell that they love their jobs! I picked some of the biggest Bluecrop I've ever seen. The farm store has a huge selection of canned goods. Pickled veggies, salsa, preserves. I really wanted a jar of everything!! After working up a sweat, take a break in the shady picnic area, and grab yourself a blueberry lemonade or locally made blueberry icecream. The first weekend in August kicks off their sunflower festival. With 30+ different types of flowers, the field is a photographer and blogger's dream come true. Every direction you turn is another photo opportunity. I can totally see why so many people come back here not only year after year, but week after week during the picking season.

Pumpkin patch
Bailey Farm, a fifth-generation family farm located in Snohomish, spans over 50 acres and offers a variety of fruits and vegetables for picking from June to October. The u-pick season begins with strawberries in the spring and progresses to include raspberries, garlic, apples, pumpkins, gourds, and more.
The Bailey Farm We found this farm a couple of years ago and have loved returning each year. They have excellent produce. Pumpkins, squash and we love their apples the best. This year I came up a little too early, as the pumpkin and apple picking were not open yet. I made the trip mainly to buy corn stocks for a decorating project I was creating at the West Seattle Trader Joe’s I work at. The young lady attending said they didn’t have any corn stocks cut but would call her boss. He allowed me to cut a dozen corn stocks for my project. Thank you so much, it looks amazing. These people are great. I just noticed that they have a berry picking fields across from the apple orchard. Will definably be making a trip up next year to pick berries. If you want to have a really great day out having fun, the Bailey Farm is a perfect destination. Family fun for all. Darrell Grant HappuccinoLife.com

Loved it! Lots of strawberries that are big and easy to pick without even going too far out. Plus an added bonus for other veggies to also be there to teach kids about them too They also have a little play area for kids like a sand box

It's so amazing and beautiful farm! Great freshest vegetables right from the field!! Potatoes, cabbag, corn, green beans, onions, garlic, beets, zucchini, cucumbers, dill, parsley, berries! Great prices Lots of parking They also provide bags, carts, scissors Also, they have the toilets on the property and they are super clean 👌 You will need to bring your gloves, it will help when you will pick up the prickly cucumbers 🙂
Olga C — Google review
This is the type of place for those that like a smaller, less crowded, no fuss no muss type of experience. The pumpkins are wonderful and you'll be tramping through the real fields while you pick. They also have apples and flowers, kettle corn and cider and mini donuts. Don't expect any fancy rides just the basics in a lovely little spot.

Visited here on August 14, 2025 and had a wonderful time! Took out of state family here as a first timer and wow what an amazing experience! Bailey’s Farm had two sites to visit, the vegetable area and then the fruit area. We visited both and had such a memorable experience. The fruit location has peaches that were ready to pick and eat. They offered cardboard boxes for you to take with you and pay for the peaches by the pound at the end. We also saw the beautiful (and almost ready to be picked) apple trees which was a great. The vegetable location was also a family fun experience as they had many vegetables that you could pick and pay at the end. They offered different tools like wheelbarrows/wagons, buckets, and compostable bags to use as you pick your vegetables. There was a wide variety of vegetables such as sweet corn, beets, peas, onions, cilantro, cucumbers, zucchini, potatoes and more. They also offered wild flowers that you could pick and purchase. If you weren’t as adventurous in picking your own vegetables, they also offered pre-picked vegetables to choose from near the pay station. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and helped explain how the u-pick process worked. They had plenty of parking in both locations. Would highly recommend this as a fun place to bring family/friends or if you’re local to the area, this is a great place to pick and purchase locally grown food. Bring gardening gloves if you do decided to make the trip out although it’s not necessary.

I love visiting Bailey Farm every weekend! They always have fresh vegetables at very affordable prices, and it’s such a nice experience to pick up yoir own vegetables directly from land shop directly land. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys fresh produce!

Great place for strawberry picking in the summer! When we went there was also raspberry, and veggies. Has a few picnic tables and a small area for kids to play. No shade so use sun protection!

Haunted house
Thomas Family Farm is a must-visit destination, offering an array of activities for all ages. From thrilling monster truck rides and pro-kart races to the excitement of Zombie Paintball and a haunted house, there's no shortage of entertainment. The farm's pumpkin patch is a highlight during the fall season, with an impressive selection of pumpkins at great prices. Visitors can also wander through expansive sunflower fields and even participate in U-pick opportunities.
Who doesn’t love a good pumpkin patch and corn maze in the fall?! Inspired by an Instagram post from Jenny Cookies, I recently visited Thomas Family Farms and decided to bring my husband along. We chose to go on a Friday to avoid the weekend crowds, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. While weekends offer a full range of activities, we didn't need all the rides since we don't have kids. Instead, we enjoyed a peaceful Friday afternoon wandering through the corn maze and selecting pumpkins from the patch. The farm is filled with fun activities for kids, and the ones we saw were having an absolute blast with all the games. Plus, it’s a great value! We spent $26 on pumpkins and $8 on the corn maze. Definitely worth checking out!
Holly — Google review
We love the addition of the new family area that they have been building. It is a great, affordable place to bring the kids and have fun. It is a little awkward to come when they open though, because you can't bring food and they only offer mushy, overpriced pre-made sandwiches until the food trucks come. This leads to cranky kids. We were a little confused by this, since the first time I went there for sunflowers (in 2023) there was a restaurant with amazing food! And it has mysteriously vanished. I have included sunflower pics from our first trip through along with food from the mystery restaurant.
Mary B — Google review
We went to visit their sunflower field and it was an amazing experience. They also have fun hayrides and give 1 sunflower free per person. Cute props for photos available too. Would highly recommend!!!
Swetha V — Google review
This was an exceptionally great place to bring a family for a wonderful outing. I went with my grandkids and my great grandson, and had a wonderful time. Not only did we get some fantastic Pumpkins, we also had a great lunch. There are more attractions other than the pumpkins, they also have a corn maze a Monster truck ride and many other family-friendly things to do.
Don Q — Google review
The facilities are well maintained and lots of things to do that are not typical of places. The sunflowers were abundant and beautiful!!!! We will be back soon and every year thereafter. The Internet states that 4 years old and under, and what we were charged for him was unfair. It indicates that he should have been free, but we were charged the same as an adult. Plus charged the kids' band for the special area.
Tamara H — Google review
The sunflower event is a 😃 family outing with tons of photo opportunities. Some good food options and adult beverages are available. Highly recommend.
Forrest M — Google review
Three stars because I paid $145 for a total let down. The haunted house was good. Decent scares and the actors were good. Let’s fast forward to the town…. Trust me when I say this, do not waste your money. Do the zombie paint ball, or do just the house. We waited over 40 minutes in line, to walk into the town and not be scared by an actor until over a minute in. Do yourself a favor and close the town if you aren’t staffed accordingly, and move the scare actors over to your main attraction. I did this last year and it was wayyyyy better. Sadly will not be attending this next year, after coming here since I was 14.
Chloe W — Google review
The haunted town is incredible! So much attention to detail and a truly beautiful set. I actually lost my phone in the haunt and Gale and Shelly went through and found it for me and were so sweet. Just an all around great experience, highly recommended.

Craven Farm, located in Snohomish, is a picturesque destination offering an array of seasonal produce throughout the year. In the fall, the farm transforms into a sprawling pumpkin patch with an assortment of pumpkins and unique gourds. It's a popular spot for group outings and family fun. Visitors can explore various types of pumpkins, including white ones, and enjoy activities like wagon rides, corn mazes, and apple cannon shooting.
Awesome event in Snohomish! Definitely worth the drive from Bellevue. We have been going to Snohomish and Monroe for the last 11 years for family pictures with Jon Kaplan who does an amazing job with and has set up his professional photo set at Craven Farm the last few years. Really cool place with amazing family friendly vibes!!!
Carter G — Google review
We visited Craven Farm on a Friday in mid-October — prime pumpkin patch season — and were very underwhelmed. Not a single food option was open, so no hot cider, no fresh donuts, no cheese curds or fries... there was bottled water though. The play area for kids is pretty lame in comparison to other farms i. The area and the gift store felt understocked. Except for the bottled water. Customer service was also lacking — no one seemed particularly engaged or knowledgeable. They did apologize for sending me back to the entrance for hot apple cider though, so thats nice. They could really use a map showing what activities are available and where to find them. The cow train and the jump house were the bright spots — our kids did enjoy that. Prices are a bit lower than other farms in the area, but honestly, it shows in the overall experience. If you’re choosing between farms, Swan Trail Farms or Bob’s Corn are worth it.
Going F — Google review
I really enjoy photographing at Craven Farm. Kimi and her team are so kind and welcoming and the space is just lovely! I love all the trees and shrubs (and the corn fields late in the season) - it’s always fun to highlight what is blooming during my couple’s weddings. I also really LOVE how the inside of the barn looks for the reception with the twinkly lights - it really photographs so nicely!! No one wants to think about poor weather on their wedding day, but with two viable indoor options for the ceremony (the pole barn and the main barn) you won’t be out in the rain if mother nature has made other plans for you! I have photographed both these scenarios here and both were great. The two outdoor ceremony spots are beautiful as well. If you are looking for a country feeling wedding, this is a great spot and I highly recommend checking it out! I look forward to being back this summer!!
Joanna M — Google review
Amazing pumpkin patch! After visiting the major ones in the area, Craven stood out as the best among the rest! Even as a couple with no kids, the farm was well laid out, spacious, free with optional paid activities, and well maintained. If you want to spend some time in a peaceful beer/cider garden, sip on some festive espresso drinks and enjoy cider donuts, or just take some cutesy pics, this is the place to be!
Clea L — Google review
Nice experience. Gift shop, food, corn maze were all good. Pumpkins seemed a fair price. Checking out was slightly confusing, but otherwise fine. Lots of kid activities with minimal mud on the day we went. Would go again.
Anne E — Google review
We absolutely love Craven. It’s our go to place for pumpkin patches. Their Apple cannon is so fun, their little store is AMAZING, and their donuts rock. I would highly recommend getting some of their bottled syrup and pasta sauce while there.

We've been going to craven since my kids were little. Now my teenager works there. Always loved it because it wasn't too busy. With years it got a lot busier but this farm is the only one around (that I know of) that does not charge one big fee for all the attractions. My kids are too big now to do wagon rides, corn pit, kids swings or kids slides. We all still enjoy hey rides and corn maze, and at Craven we can pay only for the things that we enjoy and skip (save money) the rest. We love their chili in a bread bowl, corn on a cob, cheese curds and mini doughnuts (although they should be fried at slightly higher temperature, that way they wouldn't soak in so much oil)

Carleton Farms in Everett, Washington is a family-friendly destination offering a variety of activities for both kids and adults. The farm features interactive experiences such as zip-lining, pumpkin picking, and a pumpkin cannon, making it an ideal spot to visit during the fall season. Visitors can also enjoy attractions like corn mazes and petting zoos with friendly animals like goats and chickens. Additionally, the farm offers budget-friendly options for families to have an enjoyable day out.
Driven by here lots of times, so decided to today. I bought some Corn on the Cob, Peach Salsa, Queso Blanco, pickled Beets, Plums, Avocado's, Grilling Sauces, and almost bought a Cobbler. They have some pretty flowers. I will have to check out the Corn maze around halloween.

Awesome farm with a nice store. The Carleton's no longer own the farm but the Millers seem very nice and are keeping everything going. You can hold an event here or take a field trip in October. It's always been a wonderful place and the new owners are keeping that tradition!

We had a fabulous time enjoying the day in their very well made corn maze. This farm is just beautiful. They offer so much to do here for families and friends. You can enjoy yourself on a budget too. The kiddos had a great time picking out their pumpkins. We were able to get 5 very nice pumpkins for less than $30!! Great prices. Their $4 sweet corn cobs were very good. They offer Zombie Paintball Hay Rides on Friday and Saturday nights too throughout the month of October 2016. :)

A quaint little produce stand that fits the local scenery. Local fruit, vegetables, ice cream, honey, sauces, pies, did I mention pies! Local pies frozen and ready to bake. Plenty of parking. If you're in the area and want to try out the local produce I suggest coming here.

It is a bit spendy but what do you expect for being a local farmer market. If you're wanting a good, tasty pie or variety of jam flavors (which I love the jalapeno and pineapple) this is the place to go and support! They have a pumpkin patch during the fall season. Even better you can rent out the "barn" for a wedding or celebration, which is a beautiful area.
Natasha B — Google review
Cute little market. Tons of pumpkins, apples, cider, canned items. I definitely will be back
Jeanette S — Google review
I and my wife have been loyal customers of Carleton Farms for years, but a recent experience has made me reconsider. I picked up some blueberries and raspberries, taking them out of their flat to grab what I needed. However, when I got to the checkout, the cashier abruptly told me that wasn't how they sold them, grabbed the items from my basket, and put them back in the box. The tone was short and sharp, which I didn't appreciate. I understand the store's policy might be to sell them by the box, but I didn't see any clear signage. Regardless, the way it was handled left a bad impression. Unfortunately, this means we'll be taking our business elsewhere.
Mitchel G — Google review
Great place to visit during the halloween season! Great selection of pumpkins, and very in-expesnive to get access to the corn maze, hay ride, pumpkin/apple cannons, and more. The market has a lot of delicious and fresh products available for purchase as well! If you have kids, they also have a large playground that will surely assist in getting all that energy out of them. Highly recommend. If you found this review helpful, consider leaving a like! 👇

The Fireplace Bar is a beloved establishment in Everett, known for its cozy and intimate atmosphere. It's one of the oldest bars in the area and offers classic entertainment such as pool, darts, and pull tabs. The bar has a great selection of beers and spirits to choose from. Visitors can enjoy a laid-back vibe while sipping on drinks and indulging in some fried bar food like corn dogs, chicken strips, and jalapeno poppers.
Love, love, love this place!!! First time here and it was a really good experience. Stopped in on a Sunday night, had a few drinks. The atmosphere is really chill and the bathrooms are clean. I appreciate that they support the LGBT with their flags. Awesome place!

If you liked the tavern you were too drunk to know what happened to you. I walked a mile to have a good walk and to relax at 7 at night. I've been to this place many times. I have no idea why people have said the place is above zero. It is a total zero. 0!!!!!!! Bathroom had piss all over the floor. Not a little bit but a huge puddle of it all over the place. The whole time I was there, the bartender was asking me if I was going to order anything else like she had to make a sale. Very rude too. After piss all over the floor and being treated like a non-local just because I don't go there every day, I will never go there again because the first time I was there with my sister and brother years ago the bartender didn't even put any tequila in the margaritas they were so weak. Not even good enough to be a dive bar.

Small and very nice. The service is great. The owner is very nice and I will continue to go here. The reason for only 4-stars is that the dart area is tiny and during league or any time it is a cross path to the outside deck. People are always crossing the path.

I brought my friends for some pool and was told that we might want to find a bar more inline with type of crowd. My friends are LGBTQ And made to feel unwelcome.

Fun home town feeling bar with a funky vibe. Great place to stop for an adult beverage, shoot some pool or darts, or play some pull tabs. The bartenders are very nice!! They offer fried food such as corn dogs, chicken strips and jalapeno poppers. Food is served fast and HOT!! Burned mouth beware!

Super weird and overpriced. Food sucked. Regulars were pushy and pried a lot. Save your money. So many better bars.

I haven’t personally drank at this bar but with the cold reception I just got I honestly don’t think I will, asked about a bourbon they didn’t have when I tried to ask about how much whisky was per shot I wasn’t able to finish my question my opinion will probably change in the future but right now while I’m trying to pour one out to my late grandfather I won’t be doing it here:

Bakery
Grain Artisan Bakery + Market is a local bakery in Snohomish that offers a wide variety of gluten-free and nut-free baked goods, making it a great option for those with dietary restrictions. The staff is known for being helpful and knowledgeable about their products, which enhances the overall experience. Customers appreciate the eco-friendly and sustainable business practices implemented by the bakery.
To step into Grain Artisan Bakery is to experience a quiet triumph of substance over pretense, an elegant defiance of the industrialized, sugar-drenched monotony that so often masquerades as modern baking. The setting, modest yet warm, exudes a cultivated charm that rewards the observant and the sincere, much like the owner herself, whose genuine kindness would disarm even the most curmudgeonly critic. Their pastries, gloriously free from the vulgarities of fondant, dyes, or preservatives, are not just gluten-free curiosities but honest celebrations of local harvests, herbs, and floral notes, crafted with a discernment one rarely encounters. With a cup of coffee that held its own in both strength and subtlety, the visit proved not merely pleasurable, but quietly edifying, a reminder that true artisanship, when coupled with moral clarity in sourcing and intent, nourishes more than just the palate.

Grain Artisan Bakery is an absolute gem for anyone gluten-free. Their sourdough bread is one of the best I’ve had, tangy, chewy, and it freezes beautifully, so you can always have some on hand. Beyond the bread, they offer a selection of cakes, scones, muffins, and cookies. Everything is gluten-free, and many items are dairy-free and vegan, making it a reliable spot for those with dietary restrictions. Their coffee is just as impressive as their baked goods, and there are plenty of great options to pair with whatever treat you enjoy. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and ready to make great recommendations. I’m so grateful to have a bakery like this nearby, high-quality, safe, and delicious!

So far, the best tasting Gluten free items I've tried. I typically only grab some of their biscuits - the Bacon Dubliner, the Jalapeno and Cheddar, the provolone and herb, Almond poppy, Strawberry and cream - the selection of flavors typically changes but they really are delicious. I also love their giant chocolate chunk cookie. They have so many other things I need to but I'll definitely be going back. The photos didn't really do them justice but they are good sized items.

So many wonderful GF and vegan options for our kids to choose from! We drove out to this bakery from Lynnwood after a recent celiac diagnosis for a 10yo. We were so pleased and will likely travel out regularly. I LOVED the frozen pies and rolls we could take home to bake later. The lemon lavender cake was delicious! We are excited to order a birthday cake here in the future; a group of 11yo kids will not even suspect it's GF.

I don’t who cracked the code on this but they deserve to be rich! I had my first croissant in 15 years and cried when I took my first bite! It was light, buttery, and flaky just like a non-gluten free croissant. Thank you so much for all the yummy treats. Will most definitely be back it is entirely worth the drive from Seattle!

We have tried 6 other vegan cake bakeries for my daughter’s birthday - ones in Seattle, Bellevue and Bothell. Grain’s chocolate cake/raspberry filling/chocolate frosting cake was by far the very best vegan cake ever! Amazing flavor, and super moist and light. Having it gluten-free was just an added bonus. The attention to detail, the communication regarding the order and level of customer service throughout were wonderful. When picking up the cake I saw an adorable bakery/coffee shop we’re making a point to visit soon.

We had Grain Artisan Bakery supply the deserts for our daughter’s wedding. Many in our family have some food allergy, including the bride who has issues with dairy. We also have friends who are celiac and vegan as well. I am gluten and dairy free and I have never been able to enjoy desert at any gathering or most restaurants, other than sorbet. I wanted to make sure all of our guests could enjoy great deserts! We did a desert bar so everyone could try multiple goodies including 2 kinds of cake bites, macarons, a lemon cookie, filled Brookie sandwich cookies and a vegan black forest trifle that disappeared quickly. So many people raved about how great everything was! The groom loves their vegan carrot cake and he has no food allergies. To top it off, Grain Artisan Bakery also uses quality, sustainable local and organically grown ingredients and you can taste that in the quality. I think our guests enjoyed having so many wonderful offerings instead of just cake. I was just so glad that all of us with food allergies, and our vegan friends got to enjoy wonderful desserts at a wedding for once! We were able to prove to 160 guests (many without allergies) that GF, DF and vegan can be excellent!

If you don’t know about Grain, you must take the drive & get there! I will happily pay for these treasures. Grain is my absolute favorite gluten free bakery not just in WA but that I’ve EVER tried. I’ve been to ALL the gluten free & vegan bakeries in Seattle and the farmers markets & nothing compares. Not only is the owner Lauren extremely conscientious of sourcing her products from local farmers & committed to excellence with her dye free & all natural alternatives, her flavor combinations and texture of her products are out of this world and one of a kind. Really aligns with my values as a Masters-Level Nutritionist but I’m also a foodie and it has to taste great to feel worth my choice to indulge or I won’t waste my time! I don’t know what kind of magic she possesses but she is quite talented & also has always been open to feedback. I have an egg & dairy allergy & most gluten free and also vegan products taste like cardboard to me where you get grit & funky flavors. Like, not worth the splurge & sugar because other products I’m always left disappointed & my cravings were never satisfied until I met Grain. I’m a super taster & not to sound like a snob, but that means I pick up on the nuances & can be hard to please. 😂 Definitely go try a variety of products. My favorites are any of the chocolate cakes. They are perfectly sweetened, not too bitter but also not too sweet. Like if I’m indulging, I LOVE dark chocolate but there’s a fine line between better-for-you ingredients & also wanting it to still taste divine and decadent. Speaking of divine, the vegan cinnamon rolls are exactly that & my all time favorite. I’ve even baked my own from a very popular & talented gluten free baker who I highly adore & respect & even her recipe doesn’t even close to compare. Oh & the brookies & sourdough are wow, wow, wow. The brookies are so fudgey but with the perfect crispy bite on the outside and omg the buttercream fillings. Do you like carrot cake? That’s another favorite. And if you like unique flavors, the Cardamom, Pistachio, Rose cake with a little strawberry layer to complement the buttercream is drool worthy too. I’ve ordered my birthday cake from her for the last 4 years & it’s always a 5 star. My hubby & I have added this as a cozy, fun adventure for our weekend pleasures as the drive is so calming & pretty. And maybe the best part, is my autoimmunity/allergies have never been set off. My hubby doesn’t have to be dairy and egg free and he’s been loving the croissants too and all the dairy-filled goodies. He’s a sucker for high quality dairy if he’s choosing it. As far as I’m concerned, she can take all my money. 😂 It’s highly worth it and I’d rather pay for the highest quality and something I absolutely love for those times I want to indulge. Give them a try. I recommend them to all my clients who’s health also necessitates a GF lifestyle. Its 100% worth the drive and you have to try them!

Restaurant
Nestled in the charming town of Woodinville, Heritage African Restaurant offers a delightful farm-to-table dining experience that feels like home. This inviting eatery welcomes guests to indulge in a variety of authentic dishes from across Africa, ensuring there's something for every palate. Diners rave about the flavorful steak shawarma and dibi afra lamb, both served with generous portions and accompanied by fresh sides like homemade fries.
Wow! I was feeling adventurous and decided to try this place out and I am SO glad I did. They have a range of different items and I think there is something for everyone. I got a $12 steak shawarma and it was so affordable and high quality. The meat was perfectly cooked and it's so flavorful! Be sure to have lots of napkins as it can be drippy on the sides. It comes with a side of fresh homemade fries. It doesn't say on the menu that they are served on the side, but it's NBD. You know it's fresh because a few pieces were stuck together. They were nice and crispy. For a drink, I got the west African pineapple and ginger juice with mint. If you love ginger, you will love this drink! So yummy! It would be cool if it was garnished with mint, but nonetheless, it was amazing. If I were in the area again, I would come back to this place!

Food Quality Overall: 3 Food Quality Compared to Similar Places: 4 Food Presentation: 4 Staff: 3 Service: 3 Cleanliness: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Value: 3 Four stars is an above average score, mostly earned due to the uniqueness and strong flavors of the food. I rated this restaurant in a category above a burger joint, but below a steak house. Three stars is what you would expect; not above average, but not poor. We came to Heritage African Restaurant expecting a different dining experience, and we were not disappointed. The menu was full of unique and interesting dishes. They had a full bar, but we decided to stick with non-alcoholic drinks. I had a ginger pineapple juice, which was amazing. I would come back just for this. My partner had a Sene Gambian Long Island, which was also good. Each of these drinks cost $6. We started off with Chicken Fataya, a pastie like dish. They come on a plate of three, and we got two chicken and one seafood. They were quite good, and came with a great dipping sauce. For dinner, I ordered the Dibi Afra Suya, which is grilled lamb. It came with a side of rice, and both grilled and pickled onions. The lamb was bone-in, as I expected it would be. I do have to say, I prefer it boneless. The lamb had very good seasoning, but some of the pieces were tough. Both the grilled and pickled onions were flavorful and both tasted different. My partner got the Tilapia, which was a full fish with both a head and a tail. This made it a bit difficult to eat, and he thought that the meat near the skin was a bit fishy tasting. It came with a very good salsa-like bowl. The total bill after tax but before tip came to $79.07. I will absolutely be coming back, but due to the price compared to the food quality I won't become a regular. I think it was fun for a unique experience and tasting new things. Plus, the ginger pineapple juice.

Heritage African Restaurant is a gem in Everett! The flavors are rich and authentic, making it a fantastic spot for anyone looking to explore African cuisine. I tried the goat pepper soup with rice, and it was absolutely delicious. The mojito was a refreshing complement to the meal. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend and definitely a must-visit.

writing this review from the restaurant. my boyfriend and i decided to try something new because neither of us had ever tried african food and oh my god, best choice ever. amazing food, great atmosphere, quick service, and great portions. absolutely will be coming back
CJ C — Google review
Today was my first time at this restaurant, and I went there due to the positive reviews. The wait time for my food was over 30 minutes for takeout. I was excited about all the positive reviews and decided to order three items: palasas, fried plantains, and grilled lamb. Unfortunately, the palasas meat was basically fat and bones. At first, I thought there were just a few pieces, but the more we ate, the more we realized it was 90% fat. Some of the grilled lamb was uncooked, and the plantains were burned. I would have been understanding if one order had issues, but having all three was unacceptable. The food is overpriced for such an experience.
Intuitive G — Google review
Was looking to try African food for the first time, and Heritage was absolutely the best choice. Amazing flavors from everything we had, and yes, dishes could run you $25 dollars but they are deservedly so, professionally plated and all. Non-alcoholic beverages but top tier as well.
Seth H — Google review
My partner and I ordered the dibi afra lamb with the mushrooms and cauliflower sides for dine-in. The food was well spiced and flavorful, the portions a good size for two, and we waited about 30-40 mins for the food to be served. The place was big with multiple dining areas and beautiful interior decorating. We’re definitely planning on going back to try different items from the menu. We look forward to experiencing more African cuisine 😊
Lee G — Google review
I saw an ad for plantains for this restaurant so I had to go. We got a chicken and rice dish, some fried chicken and fries, a drink and of course the plantains. Everything was delicious and sorry, I don't remember the names of the items but it was all good, we'll be back.

Skipley Farm, located in Snohomish, is a diverse 8-acre farm known for its wide variety of u-pick fruits including apples, quince, tomatoes, grapes, blueberries, persimmons, cherries, pears and more. The farm offers an organic experience with a focus on biodiversity and water conservation. Visitors can enjoy the opportunity to learn about sustainable apple farming before picking their own heirloom apples.
We had a great experience at the farm today, the fruits are not sprayed with pesticides but with clay which is not harmful to humans. The fruits taste delicious! We also got to see some chickens and played with the sweet kitty named Olive! 🍏🍎🍇🍅
Cristiana V — Google review
We did blueberry picking here, but they had a lot of fruits. Cherries, Josta berries, apple (still young when we went), grape wines. They just didn’t tell us that there’s going to be an entry fee and we were caught off guard when that showed up in the bill at the end! Bought a couple of plants too!
Tanya G — Google review
We came for black currents, did not find many, but still got some for a small snack on the spot and brought home a little. While enjoying black currants, found sour cherry tree. Wow! Heavenly tasty. Besides that, there are regular cherry trees (plenty if berries), jostabery bushes, and some goose berry. Lovely farm, it reminds me of my grandma's garden, where the only protection from pests was eat the fruit before pests have it;) It feels like truly organic. The owner has decades of farming experience; it was nice to chat with him. Will come back for mulberries and apples.
Viktoryia S — Google review
This place was great! So many different options for picking fruit, plus helpful people to guide those of us who don’t know much about the whole process. I was happy to pay the entrance fee because I didn’t have to worry about my kids tasting new things while out in the field - it’s encouraged here! And we did end up tasting quite a few things, which was really fun.
Allison H — Google review
Such a beautiful farm and so many delightful varieties! The hosts are lovely, and the apples were so fun to pick. A great place for family or friends to have a wonderful afternoon in late summer / early fall.
Abbie H — Google review
We had a great time here - everyone was very friendly and they had a ton of different apples, probably the most varieties I've seen at any orchard.
Eugene B — Google review
My family drove 2 hours to visit this farm, as it is one of the only farms in Western Washington that offers organic u-pick. I was so happy to find that this farm is what I’d call “better than organic” - the owner is passionate about biodiversity and water conservation, similar to the dry farming practices on vineyards throughout Europe. Americans are so accustomed to obsessively maintained and overworked conventional farms that a farm that opts for nature to do the bulk of the work may look rustic (which I love) , but that’s really the point of a bio diverse farm- stewarding the land gently & allowing the ecosystem to flourish and do it’s job. When you know the impact these holistic farming practices have on all of us and the land, you see the immense beauty in the tall grass & “weeds”, the blemishes on the apples, the bugs here and there. This farm is the real deal organic operation - it is small, diverse, and connected - right down to the owner wanting to chat face to face with his customers & share his farming knowledge. People aren’t used to any of this anymore, and this shows in the few negative reviews here. So if you’re passionate about farming that is gentle on the environment to create food that is nutritious and gentle on the body, this is the place to u-pick. This is a beautiful, delightfully rustic, kid friendly farm with chickens running about, delicious apples to enjoy, and a staff that is interested and friendly to them. I will make this drive again, without a doubt!
Kelci B — Google review
This place is amazing. So many different fruits, and more apples than I can count. Everyone is very friendly, and Gil is a walking encyclopedia, and he is happy to share his knowledge. Come hungry, leave happy 😁

Raising Cane Ranch in Snohomish offers a delightful farm experience with u-pick options for apples, currants, figs, aronia berries, blackberries, raspberries, hazelnuts, and chestnuts. The ranch also features an on-site cidery and provides farm stays. Visitors have praised the friendly and helpful owners who offer organic berries at reasonable prices. Families enjoy picking berries and watching farm animals while savoring the beautiful property.
We had a truly amazing experience working with Raising Cane Ranch. They helped us host a team apple pressing party, the space was beautiful and had more than enough room for the 10 adults and 4 kids we brought with us. It was a great time for all ages and the cider was so delicious. Would highly recommend Raising Cane for any work or family event!

We had absolutely amazing experience picking raspberries (red and yellow), blueberries and black currants. The owners are wonderful people, very friendly, helpful and respectful. The price is amazing for organic berries ( almost the same price you would pay for non organic berries). We will definitely spread the word about this little gem farm in Snohomish. My toddler had fun picking up berries and watching farm animals. Thank you for amazing experience :) we are definitely coming back
