The Pomeranian Dukes' Castle in Szczecin is a renovated castle that hosts art and history exhibitions, as well as classical concerts, some of which take place outdoors during the summer. The castle offers various events such as the Night of Bogislaw X, featuring free admission to exhibitions, a visit to the Bell Tower, and a museum shop.
Beautiful castle in the wonderful city Szczecin. The castle is well maintained. Most of the part of castle is free to enter but if you want to climb tower then buy ticket from information center inside castle. It will he approx. 9 or 10 PLN. If you have tourist card, you will get discounts. The view from the top is worth each money you spend. There are safety nets inside to prevent from falling. A must visit place when in Szczecin. Note : All pictures are captured by me with digital sign.
Yagnesh T — Google review
A little culture in Szczecin and a fascinating view from the tower. The explanations in the information desk were great and the castle is a beautifully preserved building. Unfortunately all the signs are only in Polish, but the artifacts are mostly self-explanatory. The view from the tower is definitely worth enjoying.
Josy N — Google review
My family has lived in this area for over 60 years, and I’ve been visiting this castle for decades. It’s been such a joy to watch it evolve over the years, and the most recent renovation has been the most impressive by far. The updates have truly elevated the space, it now has a refined, almost regal feel and has become a go-to spot for wedding photos. The castle is a stunning piece of history, and the views from the steeple are absolutely breathtaking & its admission is quite reasonable. Plus, the location is ideal, surrounded by other historic landmarks and now home to a charming artisan street market in the summer that stretches all the way to the cathedral grounds. If you’re in the area, this spot is a must-see.
Marta S — Google review
Very interesting place. Recommended to be visited. Relatively little exposition but you can get fun if you like opd castles, underground prisons, and art. Few parts of the castle survived 2nd World War and it is very interesting from architectural point of view. Generally calm place. From the tower you can make magnificent pictures of river and city.
Maryna Z — Google review
Bewtiful castle. I recommend going up the tower and taking pictures of city skyline. Great view from up there.
Mateusz C — Google review
Stetínský zámek, officially known as the Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes, is a major historical landmark in Szczecin, Its impressive Renaissance architecture and central location make it a must-see for visitors. The castle is widely regarded as an essential cultural site, offering both historical significance and striking visual appeal. Currently it is under reconstruction. I love this castle.

Museum
The Museum of Technology and Transportation - Art Depot in Szczecin is a must-visit for technology enthusiasts. It houses a vast collection of old Polish motor cars, bikes, wartime vehicles, and experimental vehicles dating back to 1919. The museum is currently undergoing expansion with the addition of a new building in the historic streetcar depot on ul. Visitors can marvel at iconic cars and buses, as well as exhibits from the field of communication.
Great place to visit if you're fan of old trams and cars manufactured behind iron curtain before '90s. Hughe chunk of Polish automotive industry in one place including rare prototypes. Interactive games and experience for younger kids to suit everyone's taste. Nice little cafe and playroom upstairs. Only con- limited parking space, so better visit commuting by public transport. Fully recommended
Arkadiusz G — Google review
The Museum of Technology and Transportation in Szczecin, also known as the Art Depot, offers a fascinating glimpse into the history of transportation and technological advancements in Poland. Housed in a restored tram depot, the museum provides an engaging experience for visitors of all ages. Highlights: 1. Unique Exhibits: The museum showcases a diverse collection of vintage vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and trams. Classic Polish automobiles like the iconic Smyk and Warszawa models are a nostalgic treat for history and car enthusiasts. 2. Interactive Displays: The interactive elements, such as the opportunity to sit in vintage trams or operate mechanical exhibits, make it an enjoyable experience for families and children. 3. Historical Significance: The museum offers detailed insights into Poland’s transportation history, showcasing how technology evolved through the 20th century. The well-preserved artifacts and informative descriptions highlight the cultural and industrial heritage of the region. 4. Architecture: The setting in the historic tram depot adds charm, blending industrial history with modern exhibition design. Why 4 Stars? While the museum’s collection is impressive, it could benefit from additional English translations on some displays to cater to international visitors. The layout, though interesting, can feel slightly cramped during busy hours, making navigation challenging. Conclusion: The Museum of Technology and Transportation - Art Depot in Szczecin is a must-visit for those interested in vintage vehicles and industrial history. Its interactive displays and unique setting make it both educational and entertaining.

I visited this museum a warm day in July of 2025 when admission was free, hence there was an abundance of little kids with parents filling up the premises. Besides being devoted to typewriters and sewing machine, the Polish automobile industry is richly represented along with public transportation vehicles of all ages. Interesting local historical site.
Sebastian R — Google review
Large collection of the equipment produced at Stoewer factory in Szczecin a century ago: cars, motorcycles, bicycles, typewriters, sewing machines, etc. The collection of after war Polish cars and motorcycles, including prototypes is impressive. There are also several trams used to ran in Szczecin
Amarok S — Google review
Cool museum with a bunch of mainly polish cars, buses, bicycles, and motorcycles. Also, there are a bunch of Eastern European cars and brands that have been completely unknown to me since I grew up in western Europe. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Szczecin.
Tiago G — Google review
Cars, trams, motorcycles, mainly of Polish origin. Great for kids. Free Parking inside was 100% empty when we arrived at about 11. Dont hesitate to ask for help with tram simulator.
Dmitry P — Google review
Friendly and helpful staff, clean and interesting exhibition. Highlight is the tram simulator, try this one. You can enter some bigger vehicles, translation in English and German. It's pretty new, you should go visit.
Martin ( — Google review
Beautiful collection of vehicles made in Poland and other central and eastern European countries. The descriptions for each of the vehicles (available it at least three languages) are written in an attractive way, full of anekdotes and fun facts! The Stoewer part of the collection is highly recommended as well - definitely worth a visit.

Museum
The National Museum in Szczecin is housed in a historic building near the Waly Chrobrego boulevard, which survived the war almost intact. The museum mainly focuses on the city's maritime history and significance. Visitors can admire replicas of Greek statues, sculptures, an African village recreation, and more inside the visually stunning building.
The exhibition about the various scientific techniques behind the restoration and conservation of artifacts was interesting.
Sunder — Google review
The National Museum in Szczecin (Muzeum Narodowe w Szczecinie) is a must-visit destination for history and art enthusiasts, offering an engaging glimpse into the region’s rich heritage. The museum’s exhibits are thoughtfully curated, featuring a mix of historical artifacts, ethnographic displays, and contemporary art. One of the highlights is the collection of maritime history, which showcases Szczecin’s long-standing connection to the sea. The African Art Gallery is another standout, providing a fascinating perspective on global cultural diversity. The building itself is impressive, located in a stunning historic structure along the Oder River. The panoramic views from the observation deck (if open) offer a breathtaking perspective of the city, adding an extra layer to the visit. However, some exhibits lack English descriptions, which may be a slight challenge for non-Polish speakers. Still, the overall experience is enriching and worthwhile. In summary, the National Museum in Szczecin delivers an enriching cultural experience, blending local history, global art, and stunning architecture. It’s a great way to explore Szczecin’s past and present, earning it a well-deserved 4-star rating.
Pradeep M — Google review
A big mix of exhibits and a really reasonable price. Lots of old religious art and very moving more modern art about the last century in Poland. Also a multi room area with African culture including models of huts and videos of dances.
Victoria W — Google review
One of the landmarks of Szczecin, maybe second after Wały Chrobrego. The building itself is a feast for eyes. Inside lots of replicas of Greeek statues, sculptures, recreation of an African village and many more. I do recommend.
Mirosław S — Google review

Waly Chrobrego, also known as Chrobry Embankment, is a historic landmark in Szczecin, Poland. This elevated promenade was built in 1902 and stretches along the Oder river for about 500 meters. It offers stunning views of the water and iconic buildings such as Ducal Castle, the National Museum, and the Cathedral Basilica of St James the Apostle.
Great architecture and great view point to see the harbor. Even if you don’t haven’t time to get into buildings, it is worthwhile to sit on the benches along the walkway and see the river, the harbor and transportation on land and on the water.

This spot has been central to many important moments in Szczecin’s history. There’s even a statue of Pope John Paul II, put up in 1995 after his visit in ’89. It’s such a lovely place to relax, walk your dog, meet up with friends, or just enjoy the beautiful trees that line the park. Definitely a must-see if you’re visiting Szczecin.

The Archcathedral Basilica of St. James the Apostle is a baroque Roman Catholic cathedral in Szczecin, Poland. It was rebuilt in the 17th century and features a towering spire that reaches 110 meters high. This iconic cathedral is an important historical landmark during World War II, and visitors can observe tanks placed by Hitler to counter air strikes from the top skyline view for a nominal fee of $3.
A must-see while in Szczecin is the stunning Cathedral Basilica of St. James the Apostle. Not only is it a beautiful piece of history and architecture, but it also holds a special place in my heart. My grandmother helped fund its original restoration. One of the highlights is the opportunity to take an elevator up the tower for a panoramic view of the city. At 18 zł, it’s a bit pricey for a 5–10 minute experience, but the view of Szczecin from above is absolutely worth it. Just a heads-up, it can get quite warm at the top, so plan accordingly. Overall, it is a meaningful and memorable stop in the heart of the city.
Marta S — Google review
Visitors appreciate the basilica’s architectural grandeur and the panoramic views from its tower. An elevator provides access to the viewing platform, offering a unique perspective of Szczecin. The interior showcases intricate stained glass windows and a serene atmosphere, making it a must-visit landmark for those interested in history, architecture, or seeking a peaceful retreat.
Umesh P — Google review
Very simple basilica. Still nice to see. Piecefull atmosphere. No tickets required. If you wish, you can make donation using card - the automated machine near the entrance. Not very rich I'm decorations but still some thongs to see like vitrage windows with colored glass, some old statue of angels, big bell. Also near entrance you can buy some books, candles, crosses and other attributes.
Maryna Z — Google review
Easy to find, great views from the tower on all sides. And a nice surprise, there are lifts to the viewing platform.
Tracey P — Google review
This place is offering one of the most important and exciting attraction for Szczecin city, as it has a 56meters tower where you can get up and observe the whole city. Ticket is about 4-5 euro and they offering a lift. So you can be sure you won't need a stairs to get there. The cathedral itself is beautiful both exterior and interior. Masterpiece.
Robert S — Google review
The cathedral is beautiful and quite historic. If you go on Sunday, You need to wait the Mass and then you can get in the hall.
Boyuan S — Google review
Beautiful architecture and the church organ is something out of this world! Can't wait for mass tmr to hear how it sounds.

The museum itself is a good idea, but it is obvious, that it's open for some time. There are broken and half broken things - the museum (except entrance) feels "used". Mind that family ticket means 2 adults and only one child!🤷‍♂️

This is a lovely place. Really fun both for children and adults. A lot of things to make the best pictures. Both me and my son loved it. Definitely many photo opportunities. Great to spend an afternoon. And take hundred of pictures. Fun and creative. I've been to Szczecin many times. Bur never heard of this place before. Definitely a place to visit if you're in town. Good for families, but equally as good for bachelor/bachelorette parties. Friendgeoups or a good start for a afterwork with your coworkers. Try it if in Szczecin

Anyadike C — Google review
The place is nicely designed and quite fun – we had a lot of laughs. They made sure it wasn’t too hot inside, with plenty of fans, which was great. Just keep in mind it’s not really an optical illusion museum, but more of a selfie spot. That’s cool, but many setups work best if you visit with three people. A phone holder, tripod, or selfie stick is definitely helpful. For Polish standards, the price felt a bit high, especially considering the time you spend there. Staff was cute and friendly. I can’t say anything about the café.

It serves as a commemorative space for events such as the war in Ukraine and offers a tranquil setting for picnics on comfortable benches with a view of the modern philharmonic facade. The square's infrastructure is praised for its beauty and design, making it an essential stop while visiting Szczecin.
A memorial for the people who lost their lives in 1970 protest.
Sunder — Google review
Nice, wide square, located next to the philharmonic theatre and police headquarters, the square is spacious, devoid of city furniture, obviously dedicated to official functions, marked with a statue dedicated to the victims of the 1970 protests. A set of poster boards describes some of the history of Szczecin in WW2, makes for interesting reading.

Amusement park
Holiday Park Szczecin offers a variety of attractions suitable for families, with some rides not recommended for those sensitive to high speeds or spinning. Visiting around noon may provide a less crowded experience. While the food options are average, there is a range of drink choices available. Additionally, visitors can rent boats nearby and relax at a fake beach in the vicinity. The park features a big wheel carousel offering stunning views of Szczecin, although it will be dismounted soon.
A fun amusement park. Many different rides for both adults and children. A magnificent Ferris wheel, from which you can enjoy a view of Szczecin from above.

What an incredible stay at Holiday Park Szczecin! This place exceeded all our expectations and truly made our trip unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly smiles and top-notch hospitality. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The park itself is beautifully maintained, surrounded by greenery and peaceful nature – the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The cabins and accommodation are clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. You can tell great care goes into keeping the place spotless and well-equipped. There are loads of fun activities for both kids and adults – from playgrounds and sports areas to bike rentals and picnic spots. It’s a fantastic place for families, couples, or groups of friends. There’s a real sense of peace and freedom here, but you’re still just a short drive from Szczecin’s city centre. We loved waking up to the fresh air and birdsong, and spending our days exploring or simply relaxing by the water. Whether you want an active holiday or just some quiet time in nature, Holiday Park Szczecin has it all. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region – we’ll definitely be back!

Good playground for kids, need to pay seperately for each play item.
Francy L — Google review
I visited this park with my two-year-old daughter and was left frustrated by the lack of clear, visible rules. We approached a small, seemingly safe ride and, since nothing was posted, I asked a staff member if a two-year-old could join. He said no. Two minutes later, a woman entered the same ride with an even younger child who could not yet walk confidently and still uses a pram, and the same staff member raised no concerns. That inconsistency is unacceptable. If you expect families to pay in advance, you must publish transparent age and height requirements at each ride and apply them consistently. Train staff to give the same answer every time and display the rules where parents can see them before queuing. Until the park fixes this, I cannot recommend it.
Artem P — Google review
We had great time there. I recommend that you take the time to try all attractions. Only 5 are not recommended for people who get sick from high or spinning fast. Also if you go just around 12.00 there are not so many people and you can enjoy all by yourself. The food is not so special but you can get a variety of drinks. Not far from the park you can rent a boat and relax. Also in the neighbourhood there are is a fake beach
Vassil K — Google review
We saw the place from far away, the magical light made us walk for 40 minutes until we got there. It was super fun!!! The place is open - you don't need to pay in the entrance only per facility.

Great place to visit for families. Insane view of Szczecin from the very high big wheel carousel of you're not afraid of high heights :). Bring some $$$ as you'll easily spend 200PLN going with 2 adults + 1 child. There are also several restaurants near by. If you want to go there, u better hurry as smth around 28th the big wheel will be dismounted I think.

Cemetery
Sights & Landmarks
The Central Cemetery in Szczecin is a century-old burial ground featuring tree-lined walkways, ornate tombs, and a neo-Romanesque chapel adorned with sculptures. It is the largest cemetery in Europe and becomes particularly atmospheric during All Saints Day when people light candles on their ancestors' graves; this creates an ethereal glow visible from afar amidst the thousands of candles. The historic cemetery is surrounded by a beautiful park and hosts numerous monuments among its many trees.
This is the largest cemetery in Europe and it is over 100 years old. It looks especially gloomy on All Saints' Day, which is celebrated on November 1. On this day, in the evening, people light candles on the graves of their ancestors. This cemetery is always clean, I often come to this place to be in silence. But sometimes I even meet parents with children who ride roller skates or bicycles because the cemetery has really good roads and many interesting places.
Viacheslav D — Google review
This would be so pretty were it not for all the cars driving on the small paths. An enormous garbage trucks doing 60 on a tiny path would definitely have been unable to stop had I not stepped out of the way. All the visitors driving their private cars at 50 passing pedestrians with 30 cm margin also definitely do not feel safe or particularly relaxing
Andreas E — Google review
This venue is very old - over 100 years its the biggest in Europe. It looks especially moody / unusual durin All Saints Day which is celebrated on 1 November. On that day in the evening people lit candles on the graves of thier ancestors. There are thousands and thousands of them ( candles) so the glow is visible from far away.

Discover the fascinating Underground Stettin Routes in Szczecin, the largest city in West Pomeranian Voivodeship and its capital. Take an unguided tour through tunnels and small rooms, gaining insight into historical significance without feeling overwhelmed by information. The linear tour provides a glimpse into life back then, making it a highly recommended experience. Despite limited English tours, guidebooks are available for assistance.
A hidden gem - a must-see experience! This 3-level underground bunker is quite large and really gives visitors a spooky but probably realistic feeling of what life hiding underground would have been like in World War II. Most of the important information was in German and English as well as Polish. The entrance was located underneath the train tracks; there's a glass door on the side with a few steps leading downstairs. It may be a little chilly so bring a sweater to be safe. They have lots of information about daily life in the underground, as well as how Stettin faired during the progression of the war. There are also a few cold war informational rooms, as well as several rooms exhibiting life in post-WWII Poland where you can enjoy a collection of original and authentic day-to-day items and take selfies. There is lots to see and do here, and it is quite worth the time and reasonable entrance fee. It was an experience for the senses and was very interesting. Highly recommended!! 😃

Interesting place with great atmosphere but it's a bit hard to find. Try taking upstairs (there are some markets and toilets) to Platform 1 and turn right, you'll see stairs going down after a very short walk. Ticket was 40zl normal, 36zl reduced. I recommend you to see the history of the city in this point of view if you're in Szczecin. Description translations are possible in Polish, Deutsch and English.

Galaxy Centrum, the largest shopping mall in the western Pomeranian region, offers a plethora of shops and services for patrons. The mall boasts a food court as well as a cinema and bowling alley for entertainment purposes. In addition to numerous clothing stores, there are also electronic shops, grocery stores, newspaper stands, and coffee shops available. Parking is available at a fee but is well-organized and clean.
That's what I call a mall, because it ain't small at all.

Galaxy Centre in Szczecin is an absolute gem of a shopping destination! From the moment you walk in, you’re struck by the beautiful, modern design – spacious, bright, and stylish, with a layout that makes it a pleasure to explore. The atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant, whether you’re shopping, dining, or just enjoying a stroll. The variety of shops is excellent – from well-known international brands to popular Polish stores, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for fashion, electronics, beauty products, or gifts, you’ll definitely find what you need. The mall is also very clean and well-maintained, with plenty of seating areas and a relaxing vibe that makes it easy to spend a few hours here. There are also lots of great cafes and restaurants to choose from, perfect for a quick coffee, casual meal, or sweet treat in between shopping. We especially loved how everything is thoughtfully designed – from the wide walkways to the signage and decor. Overall, Galaxy Centre offers a fantastic shopping experience in the heart of Szczecin. A must-visit for locals and tourists alike!

I went with my friends on Sunday to Multikino to watch a film. Since it was Sunday and it was late, most shops were closed. We had to leave to catch a taxi but the middle lifts and the escalators were closed. We couldn’t find anywhere to go so we decided to improvise and just pass the barriers to walk down the escalators. A security guard caught us and told us to take the car park lifts (to the right of Auchan) because there was no other way as the entire 0 and 1st floor was closed. This is a massive endangerment to our health and safety as there being no stair accessible exit would mean that there is no safe emergency exit in case of a fire (if you didn’t know, lifts are disabled during fire alarms) meaning that if a fire were to happen, we would not be able to safely escape the building.

The biggest shopping mall in the west pomeranian region. In my opinion the best. Adorned with intricately carved Prussian emblems, this 1740 stone gateway formed part of the former city fortifications. Walking along the streets, one is surrounded by awe-inspiring historical buildings that elicit exclamations of amazement. I guess those gates (along with the Royal gates) are the only significant remnants of XVIII-th century fortification in Szczecin. It's an interesting historical and architectural landmark. However, I don't like the fact that those historical gates are a place to display banners with advertising, not do I support a fact that there is a cafe within the Royal gate.

The parrots fly around and can sit on your hands and shoulders, but be cautious as they may bite. Families can enjoy a day out at this amazing petting zoo where both young and old can marvel at the colorful parrots.

The National Museum in Szczecin — The Dialogue Centre Upheavals is a contemporary museum that pays homage to the victims of World War II and the post-war transformations in Szczecin. Through interactive exhibits, visitors can deeply connect with the stories of the past, creating a powerful testament to human resilience. The museum covers various historical events such as postwar reconstruction, communist repression, strikes of 1970, and the Solidarity movement.
This is an extraordinary museum showing the battle for freedom from communism of the people of Szczecin over several decades. The CV-s of both heroes and oppressors are on full display so you do not forget that your history could be your future... When I visited in July of 2025 there was also a small separate exposition of caricatures from the nazi period well worth spending time seeing.
Sebastian R — Google review
The National Museum in Szczecin — The Dialogue Centre Upheavals is a thought-provoking museum that offers a deep dive into the tumultuous 20th-century history of Szczecin and Poland. Located in a striking, modern architectural structure in Solidarności Square, its central location makes it easy to access and a key cultural landmark in the city. The museum focuses on Poland’s complex historical events, including the aftermath of World War II, the rise and fall of communism, and the significant social upheavals that defined the country’s path to freedom. The exhibitions are well-organized and presented in a chronological manner, making it easy for visitors to follow the narrative of these transformative years. Through powerful photographs, multimedia installations, and personal accounts, the exhibits tell a compelling story of resilience, struggle, and hope. One of the most striking aspects of the Dialogue Centre Upheavals is its focus on Szczecin’s unique role during these periods of upheaval. The museum highlights local events, such as the workers’ protests of 1970 and the impact of the Solidarity movement, tying them into the broader national and international context. This localized perspective adds depth and makes the museum especially meaningful for visitors interested in the city’s history. The architecture of the building itself deserves special mention. Its minimalist design, with an underground exhibition space and a public plaza above, creates a reflective and solemn atmosphere that complements the themes of the museum. The surrounding Solidarności Square is an integral part of the experience, with its monuments and open spaces inviting further contemplation. While the museum’s content is engaging and impactful, it can be overwhelming at times, especially for non-Polish speakers. Although English translations are available, they are not comprehensive for every exhibit, which might limit accessibility for some visitors. Additionally, the text-heavy nature of certain displays may require a slower pace to fully absorb the wealth of information. In summary, the National Museum in Szczecin — The Dialogue Centre Upheavals is a moving and educational experience that sheds light on Poland’s path to freedom through a local lens. Its central location, excellent storytelling, and striking design make it a must-visit for history enthusiasts, earning it a well-deserved 4-star rating.

It is advisable to purchase tickets in advance using the MKM Szczecin app for a more efficient experience at Arkonka, a public swimming pool. Families with children would particularly enjoy the facility due to its affordable ticket prices. However, it should be noted that on one occasion, an area of the pool and slide was closed due to infection. Furthermore, the water in the deepest pool was quite cold. The quality of the grass could also be improved by regular watering.
Very nice place to spend some time. Lots of space around, can be busy during hot weather. Would recommend, especially for young children. There is also space for barbecue, volleyball and table tennis. Cold and hot drinks/food available on site.

Arkonka is a nice place to have fun with friends and family. However, the water in the pools were freezing cold, and half of the area to swim are shallow pools nearly about 0.20,0.90 meters. All of the other pools which were deep were overcrowded. Secondly, too much people. In overall I liked it, I had fun and I enjoyed swimming in there :-D.

It was a nice place to visit, but all pool are mostly 20 cm to 1 mt, you can consider this place for families, than for other people that is looking for a place to refresh with pool more than 1.20 mt, also the parking is small for the amount of people that visit the place you have to look for a parking place around the area and walk back there, and after made the line for the entrance ticket, but general the services are good

One of the Worst place I have ever been. Water was very cold. Not recommended for children under age 10 and Not recommended for adults. Toilets were closed. For adults swimming pool is small and gets very crowded. Children under 10 have no activities except walking in 20cm deep water, Slides are not allowed to use under 10 but all rules in Swimming pool are written in Polish. Life guards extremely rude. First all rules are written just in Polish language than Life guards yelling why we don't understand rules in Polish. It was a perfect place to get in bad mood after getting bullied by life guards on holidays. We drove so long to Poland just for Arkonka but it was bad idea.

It is better to buy a ticket in advance in the app “MKM Szczecin”. On Sunday we had to wait around 30 min (midday). Overall, I recommend everyone to visit, especially families with kids, because the tickets are ridiculously cheap. However… 1. One of the pools and slide area was closed, because it was infected. When we came here at 19.06 all area was declared to be infected too. 2. The water in the deepest pool (1.30 to 1.80) was chilly. 3. The grass could be better. It is not hard to water it daily before everyone comes. 4. Food choice is quite poor (fried chicken, hamburgers, Hot Dogs, french fries). Note that I am talking regarding stands, there is a cafe with a normal menu. Nevertheless, I strongly advise to bring your own. ! I only visited pool area

(Translated by Google) The tenement house was built at the request of mayor Hans II Loitz and his wife Anna. The very rich Loitz family ran the largest bank in Szczecin at that time. Even the Jagiellonians were among their clients. Unfortunately, they experienced a financial collapse due to the unpaid large loans by Joachim II Hector and the Polish king Sigismund Augustus (taken for the expansion of the naval fleet). After their deaths, they could not collect their debts and declared bankruptcy in 1572. The family moved to an estate in Nowy Dwór Gdański. Over the years, the tenement house had many owners and was modernized and renovated. It was finally rebuilt in 1955 after being destroyed in a war storm and was used as an art school. It still amazes us today, for example with its sloping windows in the tower (staircase). Movie theater
Kino Pionier 1907, also known as the Pioneer Cinema, holds the prestigious title of being the oldest continuously operating cinema in the world. Originally opened in 1909 as the Helios Cinema, it now operates as an art studio cinema with a unique atmosphere. The cinema is famous for its charming Kiniarnia, where visitors can enjoy a movie while seated at tables and sipping coffee.
I went there twice, and both my experiences were great. The bar wasn’t working, which didn’t bother me, as they had informed us about it in advance via email. The quality of the sound was also good. I had a great time there and definitely will go back again.
Saboura Z — Google review
You watch movies, while seating in a cafeteria? What a lovely idea!
Zoran T — Google review
So nice to visit the oldest cinema in Poland circa 1907. The atmosphere is nice and repertoire is unique and interesting. I wish the bar would serve just like in old times.
Sabina K — Google review
The oldest running cinema in the world. If you looking for tasty movie experience from all over the globe and not just blockbusters, this is your place. Part of this cinema called Kiniaria is a must be. Chairs, tables and bar, glass of wine and good movie. What else can you ask for?
Blazej K — Google review
Oh. That movie theater is the legend. I don't mind that the cinema is small it's a good thing sometimes, especially if you looking for more intimate place. There is an extra place to see movies called "kiniarnia" what's more like bar but it's not a bar you can come to chat with friends but a place you can have a drink and snacks during watching a movie.
Wladyslaw W — Google review
The cinema itself is nice. Sound and picture quality are good. They seats are comfortable. The movie ("Paris Can Wait") we watched was not good at all. What a pity. But still I recommend the cinema.
Oliver F — Google review
It's the oldest still working cinema in the world! You will find here one common but small cinema hall, called Red Chamber and there's second downs stairs which is more like a Cafe named Kiniarnia and you have here several round tables with four chairs each and you can order something to drink or some snacks. I gave 5 stars for the oldest cinema title but I have to mark also some disadvantages like uncomfortable chairs in kiniarnia cafe and no card acceptance in the bar.
Adam O — Google review

"Opera at the Castle" is a historic opera house that was established in 1956 and has been located in the Castle of Pomeranian Dukes since 1978. The performances are praised for their fantastic choreography, dance sets, and scenery effects, showcasing the creativity and professionalism of the artists. While the singers and orchestra receive high praise for their brilliance, some feedback suggests that there could be improvements in sound balance to enhance clarity.

'My fair lady' has lovely choreography - fantastic dance sets, great scenery effects. You see all creativity and work of the professionals. Singers very good. Orchestra brilliant. You see great performance with surely great regie behind. One important flaw is the mix of the sound. The sound technician could better adapt the balance singers/orchestra depending on the singer or the song. Singers sing very well, clear and precise, but many words aren't audible because of the wrong sound balance. Would be great if this could be improved.

Szczecin Harbour offers two boat trips: a 50-minute tour of the town and harbour, and a 2-hour trip to the large lake. The captain even promised to wait for passengers who wanted to do both trips. The cost of both tours was only $38 for two people. The second trip was better due to its different route. This river port in Poland provides stunning views of the sea and lake, as well as picturesque scenery with trees.
We did both boat trips which were on offer first the 50 min town and harbour and then the 2 hrs trip up to the large lake . The captain even assured us he would wait for us as the second trip started at the same time as the first boat was due to dock. And at a stunning cost of only 38.00€ for two for both boat trips it was brilliant. The second one was better than the first because of the route.

A Hidden Gem with Personal Meaning I’ve been coming to this spot almost every time I visit Szczecin, and it never loses its charm. Today, I’m enjoying a crisp glass of white wine (25zł) on a beautifully updated patio, and while the prices have gone up, the feeling remains the same. It’s peaceful and quiet, especially on a Tuesday afternoon. There aren’t many people around, which makes it perfect for soaking in the atmosphere. The vibe is relaxed, the music subtle, and there’s something comforting about how little the soul of this place has changed.

(Translated by Google) Communion in Stara Rzeźnia. At the entrance, the gentleman “greeted” me with the information that there were private parties here, using a “don’t come in” tone. Well, I was going to exactly one of them :) FROZEN cakes were served (is that possible?) 😅 Cheesecake and apple pie. They tasted like the perfidious and cheapest frozen food from the supermarket. Two small cakes, perfectly calculated for the number of people. There was no way anyone could try two different “cakes”. TINY portions of food to share. I arrived 2 hours after the party started. I was served dinner and the rest of the guests were shocked that I got something different, my plate was stuffed with food, and they were getting a plate like that to share between several people. No clean glasses - I took used ones from one of the parents. Giving a few white balloons is not a communion arrangement. Cutting for communion photos: additional fee (250 PLN, I think?) and... HUGE inscription of the balloon wall maker. As big as the inscription "First Holy Communion". The food was left and for the first time I have encountered it being returned to the kitchen and not given to take away to the person who booked the place. I definitely do not recommend it as a place for a party with food. MALUTEŃKIE porcje jedzenia do podziału. Ścinka do zdjęć komunijnych: dodatkowo płatna (chyba 250zł?) i…

The ice is not cleaned in between so that it is completely smooth again, as I know it from Berlin. Would come again. It is possible to rent a walking aid and ice skates.
