Middle Eastern restaurant

Syrian restaurant
Halab Penang Arabic Restaurant is a top choice for Middle Eastern cuisine in Penang, housed in a refurbished Chinese shophouse with an inviting outdoor patio. The menu features delicacies from Lebanon, Syria, Iran and more, including silky hummus, kebab platters and delectable desserts like ice cream and fresh fruit. During Ramadan, the restaurant offers a magnificent buffet showcasing hot and cold dishes as well as salads that reflect the rich culinary heritage of the Middle East and Malaysia.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (6 star over 5) Halab Restaurant truly deserves more than 5 stars! From the warm hospitality to the authentic flavors, every detail is top-notch. The food is bursting with freshness and rich taste, portions are generous, and the ambience makes you feel right at home. Service is fast, friendly, and attentive—something you don’t get everywhere. Definitely a must-visit place, and I’ll keep coming back. Highly recommended!

Clean environment and waitors are friendly & helpful. They allow QR payment, cash and card payment. They serve not only Arabic food, they do have cakes and Arabic dessert. The waiting period is around 10-15min. The food taste = Yemen arabic food. Tea Masala is delicious.
Hana T — Google review
Absolutely delicious food, a real change for the taste buds. The wait staff were very helpful in deciding what to eat, and made sure we didn’t over order any particular dish. The meats were cooked over coals in the kitchen, all open to the public. My wife really liked the prawn curry style dish, just delicious. For non muslims, there is no alcohol in the restaurant, but the fruit drinks were served super fresh. Well worth visiting.

Halab Restaurant in Penang is one of the best Middle Eastern dining experiences I’ve had in Malaysia. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm atmosphere, elegant décor, and the comforting aroma of freshly grilled dishes. The restaurant is beautifully designed, with both indoor and outdoor seating that gives off a cozy, authentic Arabic vibe — perfect for families, couples, or friends. The food was absolutely delicious. I tried the mixed grill platter, hummus, tabbouleh, and their signature shawarma — everything was flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The portions are generous, and the presentation is elegant. Their seafood options and lamb dishes are also excellent, tender, and rich in authentic Middle Eastern spices. The fresh bread and garlic sauce were the perfect touch to complete the meal. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. Special thanks to the team who made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. The service was quick even though the restaurant was quite busy. Prices are reasonable considering the high quality of the food and the overall experience. The atmosphere is lively in the evening, and the place is great for both dining and relaxing. It’s also a 100% halal restaurant, which made me feel comfortable and welcome. Whether you’re craving authentic Arabic dishes, grilled meats, or a flavorful mezze experience, Halab Penang is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Penang — it’s a must-try dining spot that truly brings the taste of the Middle East to Malaysia!
Thamer A — Google review
As a Syrian, I can tell you that Halab Penang is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is warm, the staff are super friendly, and the food? Truly authentic, just like back home in Syria. I’ve tried fatteh with ghee,, falafel, shakshukah, appetizers, and main courses, and honestly, I’ve been back many times because everything is that good. They are also incredibly generous with both the food and their hospitality. Every bite is full of flavor, perfectly prepared. If you want real Syrian food in Penang, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

First tried the Chicken Mandi for takeaway lunch. Flavour of the basmati rice was nothing like I had tried before! I had to visit the restaurant immediately for dinner. Impeccable experience, forgot that I was in Penang, reminded me of dining in the Middle East! 1. Lentil soup was thick and rich. Lemon seasoning was well balanced. Loved it! 2. Falafel was slightly too thick for my liking, the ones I prefer have the taste of karaage. But still very delicious nonetheless. Came with a fluffy pita bread which was the star of the dish for me. 3. My highlight was the Mofa fish! Rich and complex spices. So glad to have a taste of Yemen in Penang. Rateb bread was like a healthier prata. Same crispy texture, without the oiliness. I’m dreaming of my next visit !

We celebrated our mother’s birthday at Halab Restaurant in Penang and had a wonderful experience. We ordered the Chicken Mandy, Mix Grill, Hummus, Lamb Kabsa, Chicken Maghlouba, and Prawn Claypot – everything was delicious and full of flavour. The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive. Our waiter even surprised us with complimentary fruits for dessert, which was a lovely gesture. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Middle Eastern food in Penang. We never missed to eat here yearly when we come to penang for holiday.

The food here is really nice and the portions are super generous! We ordered the lamb salona, chicken briyani, shish tawook, and mushroom soup, everything was flavorful and satisfying. It’s great to find authentic Arabic and Middle Eastern cuisine right here in Penang. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving something hearty and aromatic!

Food court
Cafe
Restaurant
Red Garden Food Paradise is a bustling food court located on Penang Road, offering a wide variety of local and international cuisine. The ambience is reminiscent of the vibrant Gurney Drive, with ample parking and a nearby night market selling souvenirs and local handicrafts. Despite its grungier atmosphere, the convenient location makes it worth visiting for affordable yet excellent fare such as lok-lok, Assam laksa, rojak, Thai dishes, sushi, and Filipino food.
We visited last Thursday evening around 8pm, things were relatively quiet and not everything was open but there were plenty of choices and no queues. Our pick was the “BB Q and Grill Seafood Village”, having chosen a grouper cooked in the “Taste Fish” style. We also very enjoyed the Pad Thai from the Thai hawker and the rice chicken. Pay cash when you order and give your table number. Buy drinks from the elusive floor staff. Another reminder that you will eat twice as well at the hawker markets for a quarter of the price of restaurants, as long as you don’t mind hustling a bit service wise. All round a great family experience!
Michael G — Google review
The best part of red garden is the menu big photo, make it easy for customer to choose which menu to order. The weakness is the place light is rather dark. For dinner time, should provide brighter lighting, after that dim light is oke. The drink crew who take order should be response to customer, in our case, we order , he just standing as if a robot. We do not know whether he understand what we order.

A wonderful local food center with a wide variety of dishes — from local favorites to international bites. Live music and great singers create such a lively yet cozy vibe. The staff are friendly and attentive, and prices are very reasonable. It’s also popular among local people, which makes the place feel truly authentic. Definitely one of the most impressive spots I’ve visited! 🎶🍴

I had such a wonderful time at this food court with my children! The variety of food is excellent, and everything we tried was truly delicious. The duck rice was fragrant and tender, the western food had generous portions with great taste, the nasi lemak was rich and flavorful, and the pancake was soft and yummy — perfect for the kids. To make the experience even more memorable, we were so lucky to spot Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh and director Sean Baker filming a movie nearby. It really added to the excitement of our visit! Overall, this food court is a great place for families to enjoy tasty food with a lively atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting again!
Siewhooi L — Google review
Stopped by around 7.30 pm on a Monday in October. About half of the hawker stalls were closed, but it was still a nice hawker centre with plenty of variety. Chinese, Indian, Malaysian, burgers, fries, pancakes and fresh seafood. You order at the stall and the food is delivered to your table. All tables are numbered and you pay when your food arrives. Drinks can be ordered at your table too. The only real downside was the drink staff. The woman selling drinks threw receipts on the floor and then gestured for the cleaner to pick them up; behaviour that came across as rude and disrespectful. The man selling drinks was not very nice either. The Chinese roast duck was excellent. Though it was served lukewarm. The (chicken) satay was disappointing. Lacking in flavour. The overall atmosphere was fine, though it took ages for them to set up the music. If your hotel is nearby, it is worth stopping by for a casual dinner.

Hidden behind a parking lot is an emersive atmosphere of food, culture and people. Food is at endless variety, and there are halaal options too and non alcoholic beverages. Staff are friendly and clean environment. Together with this is live entertainment artists performing various songs, old, new, diverse. July 2025
Aasief G — Google review
The apam balik, nasi lemak, and wanton noodles are all quite delicious. On weekends, there’s even live music (mostly oldies), which makes the atmosphere lively. There’s also a wide variety of food to choose from.
Lim R — Google review
Stopped by this place unexpectedly, and the vibe was just perfect! They’ve got great drinks, live music with singers performing, and lots of people enjoying themselves and dancing — such an amazing scene!

North Eastern Indian restaurant
Restoran Kapitan, nestled in the vibrant Little India of Penang, is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. This lively eatery specializes in halal dishes, with tandoori chicken taking center stage. The chicken is marinated to perfection and served alongside fluffy garlic naan, making it a delightful experience for your taste buds.
Me and my friends dined at Restoran Kapitan at Chulia Street, Penang Island and the experience was delightful. The claypot chicken biryani is Top favourite.. stood out with its aromatic spices and tender meat, making it one of the best I’ve had in Penang. The portion was generous, and the flavors were well-balanced, showcasing the chef’s expertise. The tandoori chicken was also commendable, featuring a smoky char and juicy interior, complemented by freshly baked naan. The restaurant’s ambiance is casual and bustling, reflecting its popularity among locals and tourists alike. While the service was efficient, there were moments when it felt slightly rushed, likely due to the high customer volume. Overall, Restoran Kapitan offers a satisfying dining experience with standout dishes like the biryani and tandoori chicken. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic Indian cuisine in George Town.

2: Nearing the end of our hols. Needed somewhere you can rely on. It didn't disappoint! 1: You have to come here! I highly recommend it. The food is extremely good. It matches my favourite Indian back home, but somehow more authentic in Malaysia. They also have clear, accurate pictures of their food around the walls. Which is helpful and reassuring when your food arrives!

Kapitan Tandoori in George Town is a must-try for anyone who loves Indian food! The Butter Chicken was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced — one of the best I’ve had. Paired with their famous Double Cheese Naan, it was absolutely delicious and filling. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere and service was quick even though it was busy. Prices are reasonable considering the portion sizes and quality. Definitely one of the best spots in Penang for late-night Indian food cravings. Highly recommended! 🍛🫓

A fantastic Indian restaurant in Penang! Great menu with a wide variety of options, attentive and friendly staff, and absolutely delicious food – the meat was beautifully seasoned. Drinks were tasty and very affordable. The little robot that delivered our drinks was a fun and charming touch! This was the best place I ate at during my visit to Penang. Spacious seating and a relaxed vibe. I only wish I’d had the chance to go back for a second visit.

Biryani was good. Rest We tried indian food which were not good. Service is also not good they hardly listen to your call. There are two sitting areas one is outside and other is A.C. We visited in the afternoon and night as well where in Most of the menu items were not available. But they have few vegetarian options. Wash rooms were clean. Can be tried out, but have few more options nearby as well.

Ordered nasi kandar, one small mutton with less meat, one sayur, telur masin and telur goreng, cost RM3x. Then the point is.... taste so so.. we can find better at other nasi kandar shop. Cheese naan, better mentioned to them you want cheese meleleh, else the normal one is served. Normal yet cost RM1x.x. In KL cheese meleleh cost the exact same price...

We’ve been travelling around Asia for 7 months now and this was THE TASTIEST curry we’ve had! Highly recommend the chicken Milani, the sauce is delicious! The dal was already really flavourful. We will definitely be going back!

perhaps the best food I personally had while in town. the Tandoori Naam was nothing short of amazing! the roti Cani is amazing!! the liamu ais was very good. the chicken was very very flavorful and juicy and so tender. the naam was thick and cooked just right. I had some of the corn custard pudding..it was good for something new, unique and different. The service was good, the food came out very fast. the price was neither cheap nor expensive just very reasonable for what you get. I HIGHLY recommend to try this place out. dont miss this one.

Restaurant
Olive Kitchen + Bar Penang stands out as a unique establishment, offering a blend of Western and Indian cuisine. While specializing in authentic North Indian dishes, the restaurant also features a fusion menu to cater to diverse tastes. The Bread Platter is a popular starter, featuring naan bread, while the Afghani Mixed Tandoori is a sizzling plate of smoky prawn, fish, chicken and lamb kebab that's highly recommended for the main course.
Really loved this place and the vibe. One of my favourite place to hang out with friends and family. Delicious food with generous portions which justifies the price. Their Briyani is one of the best. If you are small eater, you might want to share it. Super delicious drinks too. Service is excellent. Parking could be a hassle and you should watch out for traffic police and avoid parking alongside the road.

Good happy hour prices before 8pm on selected draught beers. I actually came for the onion bhaji which I'd seen on a Google review. When the arrived, looked nothing like the picture and slightly odd. More like onion parcels as they were fried onion wrapped in gram flour. Hey ho, not what I expected but they were OK. Enjoyed a few pints of Guinness, so all good. Was quiet when we visited, but the waiters did say it usually picked up later in the day. Recommended.

Excellent place for an inexpensive evening meal. The waiter was very attentive. Recommended the lamb rogan Josh which was delicious and as he assured me not too spicy. The garlic naan and saffron rice as sides were also great. A good place to sit and watch the world go by of an evening as well

Delicious middle Eastern food in the mall on the 5th level. The food prep is clean so nothing to worry about there. The portions are fair, but the price is higher than a food stall or something from the street so you get what you pay for. We had the full platter and it was amazing. We would recommend it!
Tyillere H — Google review
I tried this when I was in Design village . They have a food stall there to serve all the shoppers . We ordered 2 boxes of chicken kebab wrap and it is really nice . But I find it a bit dry . They should add in more sauce inside the wrap . Price is Rm12 per box and it was quite a long queue to wait .

Had chicken shawarma to go, which was only 6 ringgits beacuse of a deal! It was small but delicious! A couple of days later, I went back to eat in and the shawarma came with a feast on a plate of salad, sauces and fries! Really nice. Good service from friendly and chilled out staff.

Bhai Biryani Penang is a cozy and clean restaurant located in Little India, offering delicious biryani dishes. The fried chicken biryani is a standout with its flavorful masala-covered chicken and aromatic rice. The madras tea is also highly recommended. Nice authentic flavor of Indian style biryani here. Good Chaiq Masala too. Naan can be improved better and hope all workers put some smiles too so people will feel welcomed. Overall its worthy for its price. Only issue is to find a nearby parking in this area.

The prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it excellent value for money. Whether you're craving comfort food or exploring new flavors, Bhai is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back soon for another delicious experience!

We had a very nice lunch at Bhai Biryani. The highlight was the fish in the fish tikka biryani and they have a suitable kids menu, which my daughter enjoyed. The lemon mint juice drink was delicious. The food felt not very greasy, which was good
Peter S — Google review
This was my second visit to Bhai Briyani in Penang. The food quality is acceptable, though not particularly outstanding. However, I found the pricing to be on the higher side, with a hot teh tarik costing RM7.90, which seems excessive. Overall, the dining experience does not quite justify the value for money, and improvements in both pricing and food presentation would enhance customer satisfaction.

Great food with lovely service. Highly recommend! The restaurant even catered for my friend’s nut allergies. Cannot recommend this place enough for any occasion!

Loved the food. We ordered hummus chicken shawarma and shawarma beef wrap. The herbs and spices were great. The service took around 15 minutes, but the food was delicious. It's worth trying out 💯

Hummus Schawerma Perhaps one ot the best tasting I’ve come across, perfect consistency hummus, nice beef slighty crisped up for me and two nice pieces of toasted flatbreads… recommended!

Ridiculously good food I’ve been in Malaysia 3 days and already eaten here twice. Hummus and flat bread is top notch, and the lamb is delectable. Staff is very professional, and friendly. The hummus pictured is from the to go container I took home.
Jack D — Google review
This is the only Arabic/turkish food option in the food court in which it is situated.. we went late almost during the closing time, so maybe that’s why the ambience was not so fulfilling.. food was good but could have been better for the prices that we paid.. it’s okay to try once and decide.. we had the special Arabic shawarma which was cheese loaded but was low on chicken… we also took the Mandi (suggested by the restaurant) and it was better… but the chicken in the Mandi was too stiff for our taste… it was not soft and juicy …the quantity is less compared to other Turkish restaurants that I tried in Penang for the price paid… staff are courteous and friendly…

Pakistani restaurant
Hassan Briyani House is a popular spot in Penang known for its delicious tandoori dishes and flavorful naan. While the curries may not be exceptional, the tandoori roti comes highly recommended. The prices are slightly high but worth it for the generous portions. The cheese naan is filled with ample cheese and the butter chicken is creamy and tender. The garlic naan is aromatic and crispy on the outside yet fluffy inside.
I had my first taste of Pakistani cuisine in Penang, and wow, what an experience! The chicken karahi was an absolute delight—juicy, aromatic, and bursting with flavor (5/5). The chicken butter was rich and creamy, earning a solid (4/5). The mutton karahi was decent, but it didn’t quite steal the spotlight (3/5). Now, let’s talk about the naan! The potato naan was a showstopper—soft, flavorful, and an absolute must-try (5/5). The butter naan was wonderfully satisfying (4/5), but the plain naan didn’t quite hit the mark for me (2/5). Overall, a delicious journey into Pakistani flavors!
Filzah — Google review
One of the best cheese naan in Penang at a very reasonable price! I also ordered aloo gobi and it was good. Compared to mamak, the curries might seem a bit expensive but I feel the quality is better than watery, oily mamak curries. The lassi was also above average: thick and not too sweet. Cheese naan fans should definitely try this place. Very short waiting time.
Lara — Google review
At Hassan, they cooked and served me delicious Cheese Naan, Tandoori Double Chicken Breast (Dadda) and a couple of Beef Kebabs. Great Pakistani food.

Best tandori biriani I have ever eaten Came here twice and the taste is so delicious Portion is so big, family is running the bussiness are welcoming. Highly recommend 💯
Malak F — Google review
A small restaurant at Georgetown. Parking can be an issue if going by car as it is located at a very busy street with limited parking nearby. There are two sides of the restaurant one with AC and the other is without. Open air part can be very warm while the AC part feels a little cramped up. The chai tea has a very interesting light taste of spice. The tandoori chicken is average in taste and a little heavy on the salt and the condiments don’t fare well too. The mint sauce was too diluted but still has fragrance. However the naan is amazing! Fluffy and soft. A definite to go to bread for me.
Garry R — Google review
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant — not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the staff showed extraordinary honesty and kindness. After having a wonderful dinner, I accidentally left my pouch outside the restaurant — it contained my wallet, cash, and even my passport. The amazing team found it and kept it safe for me until I returned. Their honesty, responsibility, and genuine care truly touched my heart. It’s rare to find such loyal and trustworthy people these days. I can’t thank them enough! Highly recommend this place — not just for the amazing food, but also for the beautiful people who run it. ❤️🙏

Super friendly owner and staffs, welcoming guests with heart warming hospitality. I’m a big fan of their Pakistan Tea, so rich and flavourful. My kids are so addicted to their delicious cheese Naan. We are regular and loyal supporters here, the greatest thing is we able to interact with a lot of Autehntic Pakistani culture and people, precious

We have been here a couple of times now. The food is great, the prices are mostly OK, but tend a little on the high side. Service is great, but the seating could use some improvements. Overall we like it a lot. First time we went we shared the fried whole fish and it was very unique and tasty. We also had the tabouleh which we did not care much for. The second time we went we had a mixed appetizer platter which was quite tasty albeit a bit spendy at 40 Ringgit. We also had the lamb biryani which was tender and so tasty. We also had something I believe was called maria sandwich which was a bit of meat on pita bread with fries - it was OK, but not great. I would highly recommend the fried fish, the lamb biryani and the appetizer platter here.
David H — Google review
Went on the recommendation of the driver. The taste is okay but the price is a bit on the insane side. Be aware that drivers are likely to get some money out of your visit. Dont let the staff choose your meals as they will trap you on insane prices and small portions.

Nasi Bukhari Mendi Sajid Khan is a popular restaurant located near USM, initially catering to Yemen, Palestine, and Syria students but now attracting a diverse crowd. The restaurant offers a variety of Arabian meals, with their Nasi Arab being a standout dish featuring fluffy basmati rice paired with flavorful meat options like lamb.
Are you a footie, this is the best place to test the original Arabic cuisine flavor . Yemeni snd Middle eastern cuisines, Mandi , Madbi , Haneeth, Kabsa, Maqloba, Mashawi , sheesh , Fateer, Humos, Falafel , and many other dishes with a very reasonable price . The taste is incredibly delicious. The stuff are friendly and helpful with a wide smile .they can talk Arabic, English and Malaysian Languages so don't hesitate to ask for help about dishes . Diverse set of Hot and Cold drinks . Loved Turkish coffee there . Do not forget to try their Kunafa as Dessert after eating . New experience if you are not familiar with Arabic sweets. Of course there is many desserts you can select from -, but personally I prefer Kunafa as it is a part of my culture.

Boleh menang anugerah worst service, servis buruk nak mampuih, been here few times, if you go there when there arent any customer they would treat you like a king, bila sana penuh orang, depa layan macam nak tak nak ja, servis lambat, since become more popular this shop unable to cope with increasing number of customer, only few staff and waiter, keep ignoring your order or request, otherwise the taste all great.. cuma kalau rasa nak sakit hati mai sini, harga okay, makan sedap2 dan dapat sakit hati, all the best to this place. They need to invest in increasing number of stafff during peak hours. Taste great.

For Pakistanis living in Malaysia, this place is definitely a nice spot to enjoy authentic flavors from home. They offer a good variety of Pakistani dishes, and overall the taste is quite satisfying. I’ve tried their Qeema (minced meat), Mandi chicken, lamb chops, and lentils — all had that familiar Pakistani taste, and the naan was served warm with butter, which made the meal even better. The prices are on the higher side, but for those of us who miss the flavors of Pakistan and don’t mind spending a little extra, it’s a worthwhile option.

Order the mendy lamb and barbican. I also tried the Humus, Maqluba lamb and maqluba chicken. One of the best in Penang. Might be hard to find a parking spot at night coz the place is popular. Edit 5th June 2022. Still good although not as good as the last time I was there. Seems like the lamb portion is smaller.

Superb kebab. Tried kebab special & kambing. Both are fresh & crunchy. The cheese & chili sauce is good match. Always get them as supper. (Resonable price) The shop & surrounding is clean. Plus, there are tons of tables so there's always a place for you. Esp. it operates till late night. Ideal place for gathering. Or just to spend your me time here. The staffs are friendly & polite.

Open air sitting with a lot of other restaurants around, the food here is fresh, very economical & the portion quantity is huge, they serve mandi, kebabs & basmati rice. The restaurant is being ran by Pakistani owners, who do a great job with customer service & the flavours of their food. There is an arab store nearby as well. A very calm, fresh airy sitting place. Also a small new mosque is also besides this restaurant.

The best place to have east cuisine, especially their chicken mendi and lamb shank mendi. Their dessert kunafa also nice, and also their tea.. everything was nice actually. Mizi Bistro is a Western-style restaurant known for its classic Western food and signature dishes. The head chef has creatively infused seafood into traditional kebabs, grilling fish fillet, squid, and prawns with aromatic herbs and vegetables. Visitors have praised the veggie kebab with rice and the delectable apple pie with fresh custard sauce. The restaurant also offers big portions of delicious food, including their renowned mushroom soup and fish caprice.
I had an amazing dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the mushroom soup, it’s incredibly creamy and rich in flavor. The chicken was so tender and juicy that I didn’t even need to use a knife. I truly loved every bite. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a fantastic dining experience!

A hidden gem located inside Prangin Mall. This place was previously known as JL Gourmet but now has been rebranded as Mizi Bistro. They actually use Mizi Bistro as well in their other outlet previously but now this is the only outlet left. They have been around for about 24 years so that itself is a testament to how good the food and service is at this place. Mainly serves western food and quite a lot of choices. I prefer ordering set because then you will get to enjoy their delicious mushroom soup besides the main course dish. If you are around the town area, do give this place a visit. And this place is halal so Muslims can visit and dine here as well.

Broad spectrum of scrumptious Western and local cuisine with reasonably priced set meals. Culinary tastes appeal to the young and the old. However, soup will be more delightful and healthier if it is significantly less salty.

Delicious food in a hideaway little spot in the mall. Great flavour, good portions and fantastic service. Ambiance lacks a little, plain seating in a plain corner... but you're there to EAT, not sit and gaze at paintings or sculptures right?

I recently tried the Shawerma platter and unfortunately, I was disappointed with the dish. The chicken was not cooked to the right temperature and lacked flavor. As a result, it was dry and tough to chew. Despite the variety of toppings and sides that came with the platter, the lackluster chicken really dragged down the entire meal. I had high hopes for this dish, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. If you're looking for good Middle Eastern food, I would recommend exploring other options.

Noor & Deans Cafe is located within a charming boutique hotel that beautifully combines Penang's old-world charm with modern comfort. The interior is adorned with Peranakan antiques, creating a nostalgic ambiance. The menu offers a delightful mix of local and fusion cuisine, including their renowned Shish (Chicken) Kebab with Olive Oil Based Pasta. The restaurant boasts a pleasant atmosphere and efficient, friendly staff. While the prices are reasonable for European standards, the establishment accepts credit cards for convenience.
Nice restaurant with an interior that is filled with artefacts from the seventies, eighties, and nineties. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is both friendly and efficient. On the menu you will find both Asian and European dishes that taste delicious. Prices are not extremely low but to my European opinion they are reasonable. This place accepts credit cards. The only thing I dislike is the big tv screen that fills the room.

(Translated by Google) Expensive and very average restaurant For our second evening in Penang, we followed the TripAdvisor reviews and went to this restaurant. The place is a little away from the city center where the majority of establishments are located. On the menu you can choose between "European" dishes and local specialties. The prices are quite high for the city, namely +20RM per dish, but the dishes are quite simple. We ordered spaghetti bolognese and the house specialty, BBQ chicken. Despite a nice decor, the cuisine is greasy and not very refined... The value for money is therefore not great, we can only recommend that you try other establishments (Original) Restaurant cher et très moyen Pour notre deuxième soir à penang, nous avons suivi les avis tripadvisor et nous nous sommes rendus dans ce restaurant.
