The East Room Restaurant at Plassey House offers a refined and concise menu created by Chef Derek Fitzpatrick, featuring locally sourced ingredients from foraged or artisanal suppliers, as well as produce from the restaurant's rooftop garden. The evening tasting menu presents six courses with options like scallops, beef, or fresh catch. A la carte choices include venison loin with maple squash and wild halibut with crubbeen chorizo.
From the moment you enter into the building, you know you're in for a very special time.
The service and atmosphere were fantastic.
The real star of the evening was the food. From the presentation to the quality and standard, it is definitely deserving of a Michelin Star.

My fiance, her family and I visited the East Room at Plassey House for her graduation yesterday. The food the service and the ambiance were all first class. Goran and the rest of the front of house staff took care of us from the second we arrived and made our evening special. Would definitely recommend.
What an experience! The service from the maitre D was exceptional. He was very accommodating, very informative and very knowledgeable, not just with the menu, but about other countries and his experiences. The food was exquisite, the tastes were intense and full of flavour. The presentation and attention to detail was perfect. We were allowed to tour the building while waiting for our desserts. For me this is classed as a real treat to dine here as it is more expensive than other restaurants but well worth the experience. Can't wait to go back.
I can’t say enough good things about my dining experience here. The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful. Mr. Vincenzo Del Santo, the manager, was so personable & always made sure us, & every table there, was doing well. His passion shines through him. I highly recommend dining here if given the chance. Celebrated a special occasion with a delicious and luxurious lunch. Will go back for dinner. Lunch exceeded our expectations with food quality, service and convenience. We made an online reservation the day before for 12:30 Sunday. Received confirmation immediately. Sunday was quiet at the University as they are shutting down next week for staff Annual Leave break.
Vincenzo and Holly took care of us. Both were so warm and personable that we felt at ease and so relaxed in this historic setting. Pace was perfect. Menu changes daily but offered 3 choices for each course from vegetarian, fish and meat. This restaurant is a gem. Go early and you may be lucky like us to initially have the restaurant and staff to yourself.
We went to the East Room last night as a table of 6 for my wife’s birthday.
The tasting menu was spot on from start to finish. Everything was presented beautifully, seasoned perfectly and portions were bang on for a tasting menu. Good value for the quality of food. Favourited were the potato dish w smoked eel, and celeriac sauce and cod w prawn ravioli.
The building is amazing and a great alternative venue for a restaurant. Service was fantastic with Vincenzo being very friendly and professional. Thanks for accomodating my dad.

Best fish and chips in ages! Light and crispy batter, not great greasy all. My friend really enjoyed her steak and ale pie as well. Very filling. Our server Taylor was great, very friendly and helped us get a taxi.

The Locke is a great spot to relax with a few drinks lovely atmosphere and a nice place to sit by the river.
The food, however, was just okay. For the prices they charge, I expected something a bit more refined.
I wouldn’t recommend the beef nachos—they tasted off, and the cheese had a sour flavor that was quite unpleasant.
The staff are nice, the girl that served us was so nice and happy to help with what ever we wanted.
The bar was very busy so it was quite difficult to try get served, no real structure to the queue.
This is a great spot to go for a local taste of Limerick. You can tell it's been around for a while and it's not too far from King John's Castle. We stopped in to get a small bite and found a cozy table inside. It's very pub-like but family friendly. The service was friendly and helped us to order since we were a little undecided. We ended up getting the Burata di Bufala, seafood chowder, and some chicken wings. Everything was about what you'd expect from a Sunday lunch menu at a pub. It didn't blow us away but it hit the spot and we got to soak in the Limerick atmosphere while we ate. I wish we could have come back in the evening to experience the more night-life version of this place because it seems very cool! Maybe we'll plan to do that next time we're in town. Sláinte!
This is great pub if you're looking for a taste of Ireland and Limerick! The food here is great. We had it recommended by a local in the street that we asked about great places to eat.
Fish and chips and the Lamb roast was to die for. The potatoes were crunchy perfect!

The Locke Bar has plenty of seating both inside and outside. If you want to sit indoors with a view of the Irish dancing, I highly recommend making a reservation several days in advance, as they don’t accept bookings within 24 hours. They offer plenty of Irish beer on tap, which pairs perfectly with their dishes. I ordered the fish and chips, which came out hot, crunchy, and fresh. It was served with something green — I thought it was mashed avocado, but it turned out to be mashed green peas, which was surprisingly good. The people were pleasant and welcoming, though the service was a bit slow. Prices are on the higher side.
Had a great meal at the Locke Bar last night. Servings are plentiful, I had the steak and ale
pie. It was delicious. My partner had the special fish. It was cod with a spicy sauce, a salad and roast potatoes. Really flavoursome. Great selection of drinks, all the beers you could want.
The atmosphere was excellent. Irish music and dancing. Good tip if you want to eat on a Saturday evening, go fairly early or make a booking. By 8 o’clock, the place is bulging.
We really enjoyed the hour we spent today on a wet, gray mid-September afternoon having a cuppa and a ham sandwich at the outside tables of Locke Bar. The tea was just as tea should be — strong enough to trot a mouse across it, as the Irish used to day. And the sandwiches were well-made and generous.
In addition, the young woman who greeted us inside at the bar and took our order couldn't have been nicer, and the woman who brought our tea and sandwiches to us was equally cordial and smiling. The interior of Locke Bar is classic pub, dark, lots of beautiful woodwork, gleaming spigots for dispensing Guiness and other beers. Altogether a first-rate pub in the heart of Limerick's old city.
Wonderful pub with live Irish music and dancing. We went there for lunch (which was great) and then went back in the evening for the music. I had the Beef & Ale Stew and my wife had the Chicken Pithivier (this pot pie). Both were very good! The service was friendly, but uneven. Definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful ladies lunch recently at The French Table. The food was authentic French, with very fresh ingredients and perfectly prepared. The portions were also very generous. Highly recommend Le Civet de biche (venison stew), which was particularly tasty with very tender meat. Thomas runs a wonderful restaurant, highly recommend for any special occasion or even any ordinary occasion. A repeat visit is definitely on the cards.

Brought partner for birthday dinner. From the moment we walked in the two waiters made us feel welcome relaxed and were so professional - they explained things on the menu so well and are a credit to the restaurant. The bread and salted crisps were divine. I had a non alcoholic cocktail and was the nicest na cocktail I have ever had. The food was amazing. So many subtle delicate flavours, unique dishes and care for presentation. The oxtail special started was a highlight - rich in flavour and just right in portion size. The venison stew - mmm tender , flavourful and rich. It was a lovely experience and again the waiters were so professional friendly and made our meal very special. Cannot recommend enough and will return.
Wonderful food, friendly service and in a lovely Riverside location, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. The highlight for me was the French Onion soup. It was majestic, so full of flavour & texture that I didn't want it to end!

I went here for a date night, requested a romantic table and got a perfect corner table with views of the city lights along the river. My partner and I shared two starters, a main and two desserts. The food was beautiful, the service was friendly and prompt and the atmosphere was relaxed, private and very romantic. The prices are high, yet appropriate for the quality of food and service. I would highly recommend going here for a special treat.

It’s in a nicely subdued location right along the river that belies the complicated culinary landscape within. Every course I had was delightful in a new way.

The staff here are incredible, really made me feel welcome. Thank you again :) I visited to watch the Ireland v Portugal match and was quickly seated to have a good view. The place erupted when Kelleher saved Ronaldo's PK with his foot!! Josie's Stew and the recommended spicy whiskey was great, but the highlight was the Sticky Toffee Pudding. My thanks to the staff for the brilliant recommendation! No live music that night due to some car troubles but not the fault of the tavern.

Dolan's is a must stop every time I'm in Limerick. The food is outstanding, especially the fish and chips. Hands down the best fish and chips I've ever had. The seafood chowder is also incredibly good. Definitely in the top 5 I've had. The staff are very friendly and attentive, which for Ireland is saying something. I know it's the European norm to let patrons be, but I've found it incredibly hard to get a server's attention to order something more or get the check. This is not a problem at Dolan's.
Was here for a Wolf Alice concert and thought it was incredible (if a bit hot). Bar itself is nice too and they're always organising events
We did not have food, so I can rate it. The bartender was friendly. Met a very nice couple there from Toronto! Great conversation with them!
The only reason I did not rate it higher, was that they were out of Baileys! (My wife's favorite liquor) The bartender said that he could not remember the bar ever being out of Baileys.
We had the most amazing two nights at Dolan's. We'd especially like to thank Brandon and Lisa for taking such good care of us, accommodating our off-the-menu requests, serving delicious Irish coffees and succulent rib-eye steaks, and reserving the best seats in the house for us so that we could warm ourselves in the glow of the fire and enjoy the performance of the musicians. This is a really special place, and we're already planning how we can get back to Limerick to pop in once again.

My daughter had a wonderful experience in The Oak Room for her birthday this evening. A wonderful assault of the senses, she was especially impressed with the venison. The chef kindly signed her menu for her birthday. She is currently training to be a chef so this was a very special visit for her. My husband who accompanied her said that their waiter was fabulous, so gently attentive. Thank you all for making the experience unforgettable.
We had a truly amazing evening at the Oak Room, enjoying the 6-course tasting menu for our 20th anniversary. The experience is seamless, from our initial greeting, to our servers for the evening to the chefs explaining their art. We had driven there so went for the non-alcoholic pairings, which were each careful thought-out, explained to perfection and utterly delicious with each course. So often these are a by-thought to the alcoholic options but not here, which showed their complete dedication to detail. The food was stunning. We are foodies and love visiting Michelin establishments and can honestly say this has been our best experience to date. The venue was equally amazing, you can see why this will be the venue for the 2027 Ryder Cup.
This is more than 5 stars. The cuisine, wine list, and service are at the absolute highest level. Our travel group had a tasting menu in a private room which was incredible. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Will be back. Bravo!!!
Was lucky enough to dine here for my 50th birthday. We did the signature menu with wine pairing and WOW!! I have been to several Michelin restaurants and how this is a 1 * is beyond me, it deserves more!! We dined at a 2 * in Dublin earlier on this trip and this by far exceeded that restaurant. Best meal of our trip by far

Beautiful cafe, I always love it when they have little local goodies that you can buy. Looked to also have a great selection of wines and items for a charcuterie board. Coffee was delicious, as was the lemon drizzle cake. Plug points available, where I was sitting on the window seats. Staff were also super friendly. Great time here, would absolutely come back.

We had a delicious meal here, both our sandwiches were really good and well prepared. Staff was meh. We were also seated next to a staff only room with constant traffic. Each time they opened the door, it slammed shut, which quickly got irritating and disrupted our visit.

I was looking for a cafè to study, inside was too loud so I would not recommend it as a place to study and focus but I would definitely go again for the excellent pastry and the really good coffee. A great spot to hung with friends

The food was lovely. I have no complaints about that.
But one thing did leave a bad taste, the steak sandwich was small on the lunch menu and vastly overpriced at €18 for the size.
For €18 it needs to include the chips and a small side salad.
I thought the honey glazed carrots were fine at €4. But the dauphinoise were expensive at €12 for the side.
Knocking a few € off cocktail prices and desserts wouldn't be a bad thing either.
I can totally understand why the restaurant was pretty empty at lunchtime.
The staff were good. But I can't see us ever going here again on trips to Limerick until the business gets back in the real world with pricing.
Came here with a large group. Food was decent but pricey. Staff were unusual - requested we gather plates which were in reach and one raised their voice at a guest, which quietened our table and surrounding tables. I understand the challenges of service, but this felt off. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday dinner and it was very lovely. The staff were friendly and nice although we had a couple of different waiters which caused confusion at times regarding orders. Since I had gone here before I wanted to try small bites like the mini lobster rolls, the burrata and a side of truffle mac and cheese. All of the food was tasty, even though I did not get a main, i found everything to be filling. I had to ask for bread with the burrata, when I read "pan tomato" I assumed it came with it. It was creamy so it went perfectly with bread. The lobster rolls would be an appetiser for most people but given the rich flavours, I thought the portion was good. Mac and cheese was great but some people might find the aroma of truffle a bit different. The taste was light and really good. Good portion for a side.
The night was very enjoyable but I noticed my boyfriend looking around as if he was waiting for something throughout the meal. It turned out, he had sent in a request to the restaurant for my birthday to do something and he would pay for anything they did extra. There were a good few birthday cakes the staff brought out for other diners whilst singing but I never got one. I didn't know until we had left that he included that request but I suppose it was a little disappointing they didn't read what he had sent in the booking.
What an excellent dining experience right in the heart of Limerick’s city center. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance of lively and welcoming. The Confit Duck Leg was cooked to perfection—rich, flavorful, and absolutely to die for. I also loved the Honeysuckle cocktail, a great choice for vodka lovers who enjoy something sweet yet refreshing. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to answer all my questions, making an American feel right at home. Highly recommend Cornstore for anyone looking for a memorable meal in Limerick!
Was in the Cornstore in Limerick recently and honest to God, it was top class from start to finish. The place has a lovely buzz about it, proper nice décor, and the staff are absolute legends—so sound and on the ball without being in your face.
Now the food… different gravy. The prawn pil pil was savage—sizzling in garlic and chilli oil, full of flavour, and the bread for dipping was the job. Then we got the mussels in garlic sauce and they were melt-in-the-mouth good—fresh as anything, swimming in this rich, garlicky broth you'd nearly drink with a spoon!
Steak was cooked to perfection, and the cocktails were spot on too—real tasty without being all sugar and no kick.
For the quality of the grub and the whole experience, the prices are a bit dear but you know you’re in a proper place that takes pride in what they’re doing.
If you’re knocking about Limerick and fancy a decent feed in a lovely spot, Cornstore’s where it’s at. And don’t leave without trying that pil pil or the mussels—they’re magic.
Our first trip to Limerick and we booked this early for a Friday evening. The service was great, the food excellent and the atmosphere relaxed. We had salmon and bream beautifully cooked, fresh ingredients and wonderful flavours. It was so good that we booked again for later the next evening. Restaurant much busier and yet there was still great service and good food served promptly. A good selection of wines and cocktails. Overall the place has a warm, friendly atmosphere with a mix of families, friends and couples. Most importantly we could see how hard the kitchen and serving staff worked to deliver great food efficiently and with genuine hospitality. Worth every cent.

My daughter and I enjoyed a delicious meal. We both had beef and chicken fajitas, one with chips and the other with mash and pepper sauce. We had deserts too, chocolate brownie and sticky toffee pudding. We both had a cappuccino, and my one was decaffeinated. The branding was excellent e.g. napkins, glasses, and the cappuccino even had an imprint of their bull logo. We really enjoyed our time here. The ladies and gentlemen who waited our table were professional and courteous. The food was 10/10. The bathrooms were immaculate. We will definitely be back.

It’s been quite awhile since I was in this restaurant we were seated straight away. We both loved the restaurant and how cozy and comfortable it was, we were served very quickly and the staff were friendly,
I ordered the filet steak and it was cooked perfectly, my wife had the burger and she loved it, we will have to come back again as there is a lot on their menu that I would like to try.
My only complaint was the onion rings I found the batter too heavy.
Overall, it was a very good experience and the meat was very good. Of course, we did select the fillet, so it should be good. Service was good and the steaks were expensive, however, not above any other restaurants in the area and everything else was reasonably priced and I found many things such as drinks and sides a lot cheaper. Only negative is that the Bourbon sauce was a little too sweet for my liking.
Food was amazing.. atmosphere was fab we loved the decor. Only negative we would have had was that as we were midway through eating starters staff leaned infront of us to lay cutlery for main course. Usually this is done when starters are cleared not as ur eating.
It was a great feel and the food was just like back home! Even the bourbon BBQ sauce for the bourbon burger. I got a 10oz ribeye medium and it was cooked perfectly to temp. I asked for a sear and they didn’t get that part thought. We also had the kids ribs. My 8yo was sad it only came with 2 ribs. We got the sampler as a meal plate and split it.
The only thing lacking was service. We are water drinkers and couldn’t get them to keep our water full. We had to ask several times for each refill. It didn’t make sense.
One of the waitresses was also snippy with me. Maybe it was just a long day but it was off putting. Service was a 3/5.

Food was good but if you're from the South [US] don't expect it to actually be tex-mex/Texan. It wasn't bad but it just wasn't what I expected. Food wasn't spicy even the stuff listed as spicy, flavors a bit bland, but nothing bad. The guac was a dud. We were put in a nook and kinda forgotten about (relatively normal for Ireland servers). It was overall a good experience though. Our last stop before and am flight. Sept 17, 2024.
Had a lovely romantic meal here with my husband. I had a delicious veggie stir fry and was pleasantly surprised to see more than one option for vegan food at a steak house. I also joyously drunk a No Alcohol Frozen Margarita that just perfected the night.

The restaurant is super cute, and food and service were fantastic! I’m a vegetarian and got the organic beans and toast with halloumi. I also had a dirty chai and both were excellent. My husband got the mother clucker and upgraded to brisket fries, he thought both were delicious! Our server was funny and super sweet as well. I visited for brunch on a late Tuesday morning. They weren’t very busy and the staff was very polished and friendly. I thought my server was a manager when she sat me because she was dressed so professionally.
They have free WiFi and also brought a jug of water to the table. Their rose latte was yummy & delicately crafted. I would gladly return to try one of their other latte creations. For my entree, I went with “The SpitJack Classic:” honey-glazed ham, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce over sourdough bread. It was tasty but super filling! It was a struggle to finish the whole thing.
I would gladly return to try one of their vegetarian brekkies or one of their sweet dishes.
This is a gem of a restaurant in Bedford Row Limerick, I have eaten in many of limerick city's restaurants and this has to be my favourite, the restaurant is lovely and bright, very clean and the seating in very comfortable, it's also nice to see a different type of menu than any other that is basically the same. the staff were very friendly, especially our waitress Kaylan who was great fun and had lots of chat for us, My wife and Kaylan clicked instantly.

Had the classic, ham, eggs & hollandaise with bacon bits. It looked thrown tigetger tbh. Plenty of ham, but was bit dry & especially with bread it just sucked all the moisture from the meal. Bread wasnt buttered, maybe a rub of garlic..Eggs were solid, however hollandaise was limited & could've been bit more looser. Bscin bits tasty... all in all, Tasty enough, but balance all off. Would return though as other items looked good. Maybe just unfortunate...
3 out of 4 times I went here I was satisfied and delighted. Ambiance and food just leaves me wanting to go back again. I always get the pork belly but got a bad one once so consistency isn’t their strongest suit.
Oh and have I mentioned their appetizers and desserts - don’t skip them! I recommend to get the full course.
The ambience was good and the staff were very friendly. They have good range of varieties and took 15 minutes to serve the food. Finding parking on peak hours is bit difficult as it is at the city centre. The food was delicious and the quantity is also good enough.

It stands out due to its faux defensive structure attached to the small building, adding grandeur to its appearance. What a great discovery in Limerick. If you're keen on a higher then usual standard in Ireland, this is a must. Kindly, friendly and efficient staff. I visited this place and spoke with Damie, the manager. Even though there were many open tables, I was told they were all reserved. It’s very frustrating to see so much space available but not be able to sit down.
When I asked about the waiting time, I was only told that it “depends,” without a clear answer. We were a group of nine, just looking to enjoy some drinks together, but it wasn’t possible. It would be great if the place could better accommodate groups who want to come, relax, and have a good time.

We are long term customers, I come with both my girls weekly and Eoin is normally there. My eldest daughter has autism and today we had her support dog with us, a tiny teacup chihuahua, she was in my cardigan. We were told rudely by a guy called Martin that we had to eat outside with the dog, it was raining and wet!!! We feel we were treated so rudely with a complete lack of understanding of Autistic support dogs and my child. We are always treated brilliantly there by Eoin, but this guy Martin has absolutely no empathy and is in no way welcoming, he is in fact rude and lacking in any customer service. We left rather than sit outside in the rain, Martin was putting up an umbrella outside when we left as if we were expected to give over money to pay for a meal and sit outside in the winf and rain

I’m sorry that this isn’t a positive review. I’ve always enjoyed coming here, and the rolls and cakes used to be excellent. The cakes were once kept safely behind glass, which made sense in such a small space. Now they’re beside the till, and I found myself leaning over to get my coffee and trying not to bump the cakes. As I was leaving, another customer’s woolly jumper brushed very close to them, which felt too close for comfort.
The rolls, once beautifully made, like the ciabatta with mozzarella, pesto, and aubergine, have been replaced by a simpler sandwich. The bread was soggy, the filling minimal, and overall it didn’t feel like something worth €10.
Had a light snack with a friend to catch up, ordered the Al Pomodoro bruschetta. There was a good portion of tomatoes with garlic and olive oil on the bread but needed more bread to balance the flavour of the tomatoes otherwise you would have some left over. The mocha is a really nice drink that goes well with it. It's a good place for a bite to eat but kind of cramped. Service was very good, the staff were friendly and efficient!

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Limerick's Medieval Quarter, Treaty City Brewery is a delightful destination for craft beer enthusiasts. Founded by local Stephen Cunneen, this brewery pays homage to its surroundings with beers like Harris Pale Ale and Thomond Red Ale. Visitors can embark on guided tours from Thursday to Sunday, exploring the fascinating history of brewing that dates back to the 1700s while enjoying tastings in beautifully restored 18th-century buildings.
I first heard about this place a couple years ago. For starters, I had never been to Ireland in my life until October, 2022. Immediately fell in love with the country. Have since been back five more times. Returning again in October. And although I had covered most major cities & areas of both the North & South, Limerick was one place I hadn’t seen yet. So this past April during my weeklong trip to Dublin, I decided to take an overnight in historic Limerick. In preparation for my trip, and through seeing a bunch of Ireland Instagram Influencer posts & videos, Treaty City Brewery kept coming up as a highly recommend place to visit. (And the many positive reviews online seemed to back this up.) So I marked it down as a “must-visit”. I’m so glad I did. What a cool place with a super-friendly staff. I originally planned on going for just one pint, since my time in town was tight. Ended up staying for four pints. Located in the Medieval Quarter (the oldest section of Limerick), Treaty City Brewery is as great as advertised. I was greeted by Rhys, who was working the taps that day. I told him how much I was looking forward to going there. He gave me a nice synopsis of their inspiring history, daily operations, brewing process, types of beers they offer, etc. (A spiel which I’m sure he must recite countless times; being a “frontline ambassador”. But he relayed it to me in the genuine manner of someone who truly takes pride in their job and the brand they represent.) I tried three different beer styles; all of which were delicious. I started with the Sarsfield Stout (which I believe is more or less their flagship beer). It was excellent. I then tried a Harris Pale Ale. Just so good. And then finally a Gowl Acting Seaweed Stout, which ended up being my favorite. (So of course I had one more!) After the encouraging of Rhys, I checked out the upstairs. What a relaxing place to hang out and enjoy a pint with good company. A very warm, rustic, and welcoming setting. You can just feel the history of a centuries-old building that was restored; but not restored to the extent of losing its historic charm. Back downstairs I met another local who had just popped in named Jonathan. Him, Rhys, and I had the friendly craic I so love about the Irish for a while; discussing everything from Limerick’s rich history to the GAA (which I’ve just been starting to get into, so I appreciated them answering my numerous questions). And those two lads also knew a ton about American sports. (They kept this Yank on his toes with all their knowledge!) Another aspect I liked about this brewery is they’re pet-friendly. While I was there a couple cute dogs came in with their owners. (I guess it would’ve been odd if they came in on their own.) And Rhys made sure to give them each a treat. I was really enjoying my time there and wished I could’ve stayed longer. The atmosphere was so chill & friendly amongst everyone I encountered there (personnel, patrons, and pups alike). But since I was only in Limerick for the night, and I wanted to check out a couple other historic sites & pubs before turning in, I knew I had to bid my newfound friends farewell. But I can’t recommend Treaty City Brewery highly enough. If you’re paying a visit to Limerick soon, and especially if you’re a fan of fantastic craft beers, please pay them a visit. Trust me. The hype is warranted. The vibe is on point. The reviews are real. And you won’t be disappointed. Sláinte! 🍻

Went for a visit to Treaty City Brewery in limerick and my oh my what a beautiful place.
The beer selection is very high quality, and the service is definitely 5 star, the management i have to say truly runs this business like a world Class professional, yes world Class.
My experience was welcoming and yes i will be back with all my friends, they also do a real top Barbecue on selected days.

This is a brewry bar in one of Limericks oldest street which leads right up to King John's Castle. Offering a selection of local and own brews,ales and stout.The decor is rustic and with old mismatched furniture, which adds to its unique charm . Their toastie has a renowned reputation just perfect with a beer.
The building is very interesting and the seats are cozy, no complaints there. The first few minutes here though had some issues. When we walked in there was no one behind the bar so we had to wait a few minutes until she came out of the back. Out of three beers ordered, one was out of stock and two out of the three sandwiches were out of stock. All we're still being advertised though. If you know you are out of something, take it off the menu. It was pretty slow, so there was no excuse for neglecting this. When the sandwiches arrived they had made two of a vegan with chicken added instead of a vegan with chicken (we ordered this since the savage stuff was out of stock) instead of one vegan with chicken and a hang. They brought us a hang eventually but I don't understand how they made the mistake. We ended up having to pay for all three even though we only ordered two. The beers and sandwiches we got were all excellent, and if I lived in Limerick I would definitely be here often, but with inattentive and borderline unfriendly staff, training should be provided on how to properly staff and run a tasting room.
I enjoy going here, friendly staff who can offer great advice on what drink to get, good atmosphere and nice toasties. I haven't bought one yet but I like the look of their tshirts too!
This place is a gem, and a considerable spoke in the wheel of Limerick's rejuvenated entertainment offering. Great setting in the ancient old town, and craft beer from Limerick. How can you skip this place? Any social event in Limerick should start with a beer tasting here. Well done.

Decided at the last minute to celebrate my birthday with Family at Hamptons. It was the best decision to begin my new year. Amazing food that felt therapy to my palate. from beginning to finish I could distinguish different flavour arise to take center stage and then be replaced by another beautiful flavour experience .Our server Mauricio was outstanding and manager super attentive, their timing and approach elegantly suttle. Went to the Tequila Rooms pop-up in Coqbull for dinner with some family and honestly I'd give this pop-up a miss and just go into the regular restaurant.
The nibbles are overpriced, they are just a starter portion amount and nothing can justify €9 for a single taco....
The food is nice, boneless wings were delicious but a portion was only 5 boneless wings for €10.50.
Service was great, can't fault them there but I just felt the Tequila Room pop-up was just overpriced.
Amazing quality of service. All the servers in this building are some of the most accommodating, sweetest and quick servers ive had the pleasure of being served by. Now to start on the food, these burgers were some of the juiciest, most tender burgers ive ever had. The nashville chicken burger was astonishingly good I would recommend, the chicken was juicy and fell apart in my mouth, the breading on the chicken was seasoned to perfection, the perfect amount of hot honey sauce that complimented the chicken incredibly well- not too sweet and not too hot, perfect. Sensational. Would come back again.
The dragonfruit diva is a drink I would recommend to ALL of you reading this. This cocktail was absolutely beautiful AND refreshing and as someone with a peach allergy, they had zero problems accommodating that for me.
This restaurant has the perfect portions for their desserts too. The dirty cookie is the best thing ive ever put in my mouth to explain it plainly.
The atmosphere was warm, cozy and perfect. With beautiful music playing at the perfect volume to speak over.

Service was great, food is not what I’m used to from CoqBull. Got the 1/2 roast chicken option for €21, which came with a frankly tiny amount of potato and stuffing and nothing else. Would be much less of an affront to the wallet if they could even add a couple of vegetables or some more potato - as it is, feels like a complete rip off.

Visited for lunch yesterday around 3pm while in Limerick city. Food is above average, service is not.
The 10 euro lunch menu is good value in the current climate. The food came out quickly and was tasty however the service we received was not.
Our food arrived after around 10 minutes of waiting but our drinks did not. We were sitting outside and trying to catch the attention of waitress outside proved impossible. When we eventually got her attention she nonchalantly said our drinks were on the way and returned to avoiding as many tables with customers as she could. It appeared as though we were inconveniencing her by asking this. Our drinks eventually arrived after around 30 minutes as I was finishing my food with no apology on the delay. I then asked the waitress who brought the drinks for some mayo which arrived five minutes later as I had four chips left on my plate. Not ideal
We were not asked once if everything was OK with the meal or if we needed anything throughout our visit. Again, as I went up to pay there was no ask of how everything was.
Not usually one to post bad reviews but this is the poorest service I have received while eating out.
The restaurant was also not busy while we visited so there really was no excuse for the extremely poor service we received.

I came from Florida to perform with my band REMIX at a wedding in Adare Manor, and found Sean Collins. Great pub! The service was so friendly. Met the owner and the band and myself had a great time getting to know him and his family. Made new friends, had great laughs. We were introduced to some whiskies we rarely have back home. Live music included!! Overall, this place, the people and atmosphere was incredible!!! Thank you for a great time.

Excellent food. We had a Big Cheese pizza: mozarella, brie, gargonzolla, and cambozola on a tasty pizza crust - just Great. Had a pint of Guinness and seats right next to the Irish musicians playing traditional tunes.

This place we were reffed to by my brother. He’s been here many times, and said, “there one place you have to go in Ireland, The Sean Collins Bar and Restaurant.” When we got there, we asked why, but when we chatted with the staff and ate the amazing food, at a good price, wed knew why. Great experience. Was what I had envisioned a true Irish Pub to look and feel like and the proprietor was engaging and personable. Food was outstanding. The Irish Stew was possibly the best meal I had our entire trip.
We visited the pub last night to celebrate my mom's birthday. The pub has a great atmosphere, live music was great! We ordered fish and chips and burger, the portions were big and the food was delicious. They cater for kids and our son was delighted with his chicken nuggets and ice cream after. Nice staff, great food and good vibes. Im glad we came and would highly recommend!

The best full Irish I have had in years! The quality of ingredients is clear. Staff are lovely too. But the best part, it is super dog friendly! Dogs are allowed inside. They even brought a bowl of water and treats as soon as we came in! Ireland needs more dog friendly places like this!
Hands down the best french toast I have ever had, I would honestly give them 6 stars for the food. The atmosphere is adorable and fun. The coffee is delicious as well! My only critique is that it took a super long time for our server to cash us out… we sat there with our dishes stacked at the end of the table for quite a while. Other than that, the staff is friendly and welcoming. Overall, the experience was great and I would 100% come back for another meal!!❤️

The Buttery never disappoints. I’ve been here a few times now for brunch and the food is always lovely and the staff are friendly and non intrusive. The atmosphere is really cool no matter where you sit and even though it can get busy it’s never too loud.
Great breakfast, plenty of vegetarian options and good coffee. The chimi eggs on the weekend menu is particularly good!
We were recommended here by a local for our Limerick visit and it didn't disappoint. Service was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. We were told the specials and asked about dietary requirements which applied to one of our group which was great as she was looked after.
Food was great and came out quickly and it was clean plates all round. Place was warm and welcoming and perfect refuge from the driving wind and rain outside. The booths looked lovely so when I'm booking next I'll specify sitting there. Will definitely revisit when back in Limerick.

On my opinion, there is a high price. The food is good, there is not too much to choose from (can compare to Dublin's ones). There is a lot of desserts. The food taste was nice. There is a coffee machine included already in price, which is amazing. We came to the restaurant without booking (5 adults and child). The receptionist said that there is no places, but i asked about separate places for 4 and 2. He was walking around for few minutes and finally offered tables for 4 and 2, but with a limited time to 1 hour 10 minutes. Of course I thank him for that. But while we were sitting there there was few spaces free around. So, this is point to think. It was nit bad, but in Dublin there are better places with great choice and cheaper price.

HIGHLY OVERRATED AND EXPENSIVE.
This is an easy review. To start with, extremely hard to find parking space. We drove around twice and ended up parking in Dunes store parking (8€ for 3 hours). Then, once in the restaurant, service was utterly disappointing. We had to chase down waiters/waitresses to order drinks. Food was ok given this is a buffet restaurant. There were very little offerings and given the time I was there, most of the dishes were not replaced. However, price was a major blow. I'm not sure I got all the value for the money I was supposed to get. Not even sure this place offers great value for money.
It's not all negatives. The place is really nicely decored offering a pleasant ambience. So, this can be a good place for special occasions and celebrations.
Great selection of starters, a very good selection of mains and a great selection of desserts. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is clean, bright and spacious. A little bit pricey if you have kids. €35 per adult and €17.50 per child up to the age of 11 years old. A family of 5 - 2 Adults and 3 Kids is €140.00.
We came to try it, we have been curious for a long time, for me the space is beautiful, the recepcion whas not good, the staff lacks friendliness not all of them, as well lacks attention to the customer, the food leaves something to be desired, it has no great flavor, and it is not replenished, The Robot that was a traction for us, unfortunately was not there to serve us, it was just serving as a transport of dishes for the employees to place, for me the best were the cocktails were beautiful and tasty, unfortunately I didn't go back on purpose, I expected much more.

Jasmine palace remains one of my favorites in limerick city. Fancy place offering great selection of starters, mains, sides, and desserts. There’s a huge buffet having different kinds of food based on everybody’s taste. It’s definitely worth it.

The house itself is a traditional Irish home, full of details, art, and good vibes.

The Arches Restaurant is wonderful. My husband had the Shepherds Pie and I had Bangers & Mash (sausage, bacon, grilled onions, mashed potatoes with gravy) The presentation was amazing. The food was wonderful. If you are in the area, it’s absolutely worth a visit.
We loved our lunch here! Very family, friendly, cozy place. The service was lovely everybody there that worked there was wonderful. We ended up meeting the family, including the chef who is a brother of the front manager. Their parents were even there having a bite! Just A lovely atmosphere. It makes you feel like you’re having food at grandma’s house in Ireland. Great fish and chips as well as the bangers and mash!
Overall the food was fairly fast, nicely plated and the service was friendly and super attentive. Very affordable. 4 of us ate for just 53 Euros. You can park in a public lot just around the corner and it’s an easy walk.
My son in laws burger: he thought was a proper burger, juicy and tasted like beef (other restaurants don't always have a good burger). Chips were crisp, salad a little limp lol. 4.5 out of 5!
I forgot to photograph my chicken salad sandwich which was not what I expected but awesome. Sliced cucumbers with chicken strips (not breaded) and Mayo- but the star of the show was the lovely soft roll it was on! I added garlic aioli to my fries and there were perfect. 5 out of 5!
My husband said the lasagna was fine, a bit different than we're used to with cheddar and phyllo on top, but not bad at all. 4 out of 5.
The roast chicken was very good, the sides lacked a bit of seasoning, vegetables may have been from frozen. 4 out of 5.

My wife and I came here on a recommendation from Grace over at the castle tour center whilst our visit in Ireland. Not only was Adare one of the top places on our visit here, but John and his staff gave us a 5 star experience we won’t soon forget. We felt very welcomed here as foreigners.

Had lunch in The Arches and was a bit worried because I am coeliac and require gluten free options. At first glance it didn't seem like the menu would be able to accommodate me. But I was quickly reassured by the manager who knew the menu backwards and forwards and was able to guide me confidently about exactly which dishes I could have. I had a lovely roast chicken breast with gluten free gravy, peas, carrots and a side salad. It was so tasty!
The service was excellent. All the staff were helpful, available and seemed happy. I would really recommend this place for traditional Irish food. They know what they are doing. My son and husband also had great meals and really enjoyed our time there
A lovely strange place for a bite to eat of you are in Adare. The decor is odd but the food is lovely. It's very good value for money too.
Stopped at The Arches in Adare for a late breakfast and so glad we did. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Food was great - we had traditional breakfast and chicken salad sandwich. Huge portions, fresh and tasty. Atmosphere was fun, especially the back hall to the toilet. Location is fantastic, right on Main St and a block from a beautiful public park.

Absolutely vile €22 for a ham and turkey dinner delivered with no roasties, no Yorkshire pudding, ham was that small I thought they forgot it, meat was dry and inedible and all the veg were raw never again so disappointed I don’t know how any chef can look at that and think it’s acceptable to serve never mind deliver
The staff are very friendly but the timing of service and actual food was very mediocre. Vol Au Vant was cold and the Honey Buffalo wings were poor - maybe there are some people who enjoy these but probably offer regular buffalo wings versus sweet buffalo sauce and sweet BBQ sauce options? Prices here are not comparable to quality but maybe just due to how busy it was but don’t seat as many tables if the kitchen/service is unable to keep up. Majority of food (especially the wings) tastes frozen so was just disappointing here considering the prices also. Would genuinely say the frozen chips were the best part of the meal. Staff never to be seen again after dropping the food off - would avoid.

I was on holidays in the area with my elderly parents and daughter, I saw the reviews online and decided to try Russells for Sunday dinner. It didn't disappoint. We had the roast dinner, chicken curry and childs nuggets, plus desserts. The food was gorgeous, service very friendly, portions big and price very reasonable. Would definitely recommend.
Quality food and one of the best places in Limerick, if not the best to have carvery. Tracey and Darren were phenomenal as always, along with the bar staff for pints after.
Darren showed us the best time ever. The ultimate professional and made us feel so at home. Changed our perception of Russell’s, and is now our go to! We’ll be back, and we’ll bring a gang with us.

The Silver Room Restaurant: My friends and I had an amazing dinner at The Silver Room on Bishop St last night. The food was outstanding-fresh, local ingredients transformed into perfectly cooked fillet steaks and succulent prawns that left us all smiling. The presentation was gorgeous, almost too pretty to eat! The ambiance struck just the right balance of elegant and welcoming, making our night feel special. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The location in Newcastle West is unbeatable, so convenient and vibrant. We're already planning our next visit-highly recommend this spot for a fantastic dining experience!
The 3 girks who were serving were brilliant. We wete passing through Newcastle West and dropped in. The food too was superb and to say the plase is clean is a real undersratment! The barhrooms whilst super clean could do with better quality hand dryers or towells.
I had lunch here on a Saturday. The place was nice and quiet and relaxed. The tables setting is fab and spacious. The service was quick and the waitresses were friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely gorgeous, could not fault a thing. My friends also loved the food and commented on how delicious it was.It's also surprisingly affordable for such a fancy place. The menu has plenty of choice to suit everyone. I loved it and will definitely be back again.
Excellent menu with friendly staff. Went early (5:00 pm) so getting a table was easy. If you're looking to go later, especially at weekends, you will need to book well in advance as it is very popular.

The restaurant was suggested by the Barman at the Silver Dollar pub and it was an excellent choice.
We were met, seated and served by the owner and co-owner who spent time chatting with us and making sure everything was to our satisfaction.
All of the dishes and deserts that we had were excellent. We also tried some of the specialty drinks which were amazing.
Try the brownie old fashioned. It’s to die for.
I can’t say one negative thing about the restaurant. The price was very reasonable considering the atmosphere, service and food.

This restaurant deserves 10 stars, 5 doesn't do it justice! Ate there yesterday evening (Saturday) with friends. Food was spectacular (we all had fish), very nice wine and superb dessert. One of the nicest Indian restaurants in limerick city. I’ve been to Bambu several times, and I’ve always been satisfied.
Beef bhuna is my new favorite; cooked beef with a nice sauce and vegetables. Rice with mushroom has to be the best rice dish I’ve had so far; very light and rich in flavor.
Chicken tikka massala is highly recommended tho.. it’s a popular and safe option.
The food was the best I've had in a long time, it was delicious, all the ingredients were fresh and handmade, and from even looking at the presentation of the food it really showed that they put in sincere, honest effort to make it taste really good. I've had a lot of Thai food over the years, and their Phad Thai chicken is among the very best that I've had. It was carefully made, the chicken was cooked nicely and separately, and every detail was perfect. The sweet and sour chicken with rice was perfect too with fresh ingredients. The cheesecake dessert wasn't too sweet, and I could eat the whole pie it was so good. We met the owner as we left, and when the owner is involved it's a good sign. The music and quality of the space is top notch too. The quality of everything is like a high-end restaurant, but at super reasonable prices and generous portions. I'd gladly pay a little more for the food than the listed prices, it's that good, so I tipped. The value for what you get is excellent. You won't go away hungry. I went here a few times at least.

I think this is the best indian i've ever had. However, I ordered Lamb Korma and received about two pieces of lamb, the rest of the meat was beef. Thought it was sneaky! Because I like the place I will give it another chance.
Great food, lovely staff and super cosy atmosphere. It looks like the food is even better after they moved location. If you enjoy an exotic taste, try their Okra with pilau rice - so good! Vegetarian friendly and they're flexible to cook the recipes without meat if you ask.
I had dinner here. It was just nice. If you want Indian food( vegetarian or non vegetarian both option available) you can go here. Taste was not so good just okay for me but it's just my opinion. One Important thing BAMBU and spice of India is same. First we got confused because it's name is not visible from opposite side.
Been to this place with my husband countless times during our 1 year stay in Limerick and our experience was amazing every time. Food is always served fresh and tastes very good. It’s neither too spicy not too bland. The staff is very welcoming; the place has a cozy ambience and serves Indian beers with papadom. What else do you need after a tiring day at work.

The musician was really talented, super nice atmosphere. We came for a nice breakfast and to hear some live music, which was recommended on the website of the city. But the offer of food was not what we expected, for sure some little stores but nothing to get fed up.
Lovely market for fruit, veg, bread and baked goods. Very heavy on the bread, coffee & pastries though. Was hoping for maybe more hot food options but was still very enjoyable in beautiful courtyard which is mostly covered. Also good for gifts like soaps, jams and honey. Worth a visit for sure!
Not much was doing at the Milk Market when we walked there on a rainy Friday noontime — though its website says that it opens at 11 A.M. on Friday. But we enjoyed strolling around, and had a very good cup of coffee and cinnamon roll at the Bread Shop, which is part of the market. The cinnamon roll was replete with cinnamon, as a good cinnamon roll should be, and the size was gargantuan. And as we sipped our coffee, a young woman with a group of friends sat down at the piano, and magic happened.

Had a great time at the Milk Market in Limerick. There’s such a great variety of stalls with amazing food, local produce, and lovely homemade products. Definitely a must-visit when you’re in Limerick!
A lovely family orientated place for the whole family. You can buy hand crafted gifts from local artists, yummy pancakes at another store and relax with a nice cup of coffee whilst doing the shopping. There's a few little shops there so something for everyone.

Katie Daly's quickly became my comfort pub during my stays in Limerick: it's cozy, warm, familiar and a typical Irish pub. The food is sensational: the Sunday roast is something out of this world!!
Everyone is incredibly kind, attentive and friendly. The pub in itself is wonderful and I've always met lovely people, even if just for a few minutes. Perfect place to have a chat, have a dinner on your own, enjoy a football game and share a pint with some friends. Recommend 100%

Excellent food, very attentive and friendly staff, very nice ambiente. Prices are a bit steep (19€ for fish and chips), but since the quality of the food is so good, it is tolerable. We were there when they had two musicians playing Irish traditional music - very nice. If you can, pick a day for your visit, whenever there is live music, it really makes the experience so much more enjoyable.
First of all there is a Great atmosphere in Katie Dalys.
We ordered chicken wings and they were cold. Not sure about other food there, but as a first time visit , I wasn't impressed. The smell in the Bar area wasn't great.
We sat outside and I can see the attraction, but I wouldn't be enticed to go back, sorry.
We both had the Cottage Pie, which was outstanding! I bet you can't go wrong choosing any dish from the menu. Friendly staff, beautiful views, and a funny cat in the window next door. We had a great time eating outside, altogether was amazing!
Comfortable neighborhood bar I would love to spend more time in. We stopped in for lunch and a pint. We sat inside but they have an enclosed outdoor area plus outdoor seating with umbrellas. When our server arrived, he took our drink order and let us know that the Bootlegger Cheeseburger is not frozen. So that’s what I got. My wife ordered the Treaty City Ale Battered Fish and Chips. Everything came out promptly and hot. We really enjoyed our visit and hope to return soon.

Food and coffee are good, service is non existent.
We were ignored by 4 different staff members while waiting to be seated, no acknowledgement that they even saw us, until I finally just asked if we could sit at a vacant table. We had to ask 4 times for water and when we finally got it and our food (which also took a long time) no one came back to us so we had to go to the front to pay.
The place itself is dark and stuffy.
I'd only recommend take out from this location.

Overall a great experience, food was amazing! Service top class! Only drawback was the queue before we sat down, which was about 15minutes, but does give a good indication of what was to follow!

Have always loved this restaurant and have been coming for 20 years. We had a break due to having kids and finally returned with our kids in tow. Everything was as delicious as remembered, the staff were lovely and attentive. Our food was amazing and the kids had a mix of the kids menu and some from the regular menu and they really enjoyed it all. Highly recommended!

Went here with my partner last night. Decent service from staff, however we ordered garlic dumplings for starters which were frozen in the middle for both of us. We informed the waiter who then told us that the restaurant receives a lot of customers from the UK and explained that requests for how to prepare the dumplings varies based on the customer.
Had Lamb Saag for the main course and spent the next day making frequent trips to the bathroom. Wasn't able to eat a proper breakfast or lunch and had to force feed myself dinner that evening. Had to swat away a fly from the table during the meal as well.
Would not recommend.
The restaurant is a gem, not only fabulous food but the nicest and most professional service always no matter how busy it is , we come here to celebrate or just to relax and enjoy the wonderful freshly cooked dishes on offer. We are never disappointed. If you don’t visit the The Moghul Emperor you are missing out on the finest Indian dining experience ever.
Awful customer service, average food and atrocious price.
This is the first ever time I am experiencing such rude behaviour in a restaurant. I made my way there by 9:00pm and I was aware the restaurant closes at 10:00pm. I went in with the intention to leave as quick as possible after dining. The restaurant was empty and as I stepped in, the waiter said, ‘will you leave at 10, then you can come in’. He wasn’t any polite the way he made his statement. He was loud and rude. The food was priced really high. I ordered a biriyani and it was basically just rice and bland chicken. The waiter had asked if I want spicy and I guess all they did was add chilly powder to it because I could feel the taste of raw chilly powder in the food. I cook Indian food myself and this is not how you make food ‘spicy’. We asked for two separate bills and the waiter says yes and comes up with one bill. We reminded that we need two bills and he said since it’s already issued, he can’t change it. Eventually he did, but the attitude!
Will not recommend this place at all, especially to dine in. It’s not worth the time or money.
I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s looking for good Indian food at reasonable prices in town. It would be a perfect place to take your family or friends out to eat.

Copper & Spice is a charming restaurant located in Limerick, housed in a beautifully restored mill with views of the Mulcair River. The food is tasty and above average. The ambience and service is what I loved the most. The portions are adequate enough. As an Indian I would go there for the vibes and service.

the place is located in Annacoty near the river. The food is very decent, as a group we ordered 4 different veg dishes out of bhindi curry and baigan bharta were very good. The paneer in matar paneer was little hard. Veg Massaman curry was good. Thai green curry was decent but not as spicy as expected. Lamb curry and methi chicken were good as well. The naans were very soft but the chapati were little hard but not that of a big problem. The staff was very supportive and took order very carefully and the support staff and waiters were very careful about cleanliness. The ambience was good as well. Prices are also very good and not very heavy to the pocket. Overall it was a good experience and I would like to come and eat again. Recommended.

Place has nice atmosphere, and overall is looking nice. Parking spot could be a problem sometimes.

It happens 3 times to me right now.
I'm usually ordering for first empty slot for collection, and it could be 2-3 hours later.
So I tought I might order in the middlen of the day so I can pick collection slot whenever I like - drop in collect, after work and go home quickly. This is not working. After forst and second time it happens I was assured that it will be fixed, and there will be no delay next time - here we go - every single time when I have ordered this way I had to wait 15-20 minutes longer, even taking into consideration that I have ordered around 2-3 PM. Obviously other people are just picking their orders no problem on time.
Ordering system has a flaw - as kitchen is not even attempting to make my order for desired collection time - when I show up they are preparing it then....
Hopefully next time I will have better experience.
Ahh,,,finally had a wonderful Indian food after a long time in limerick.
I had a vegetarian thali here, which came with 1 tandoori roti, papad, jeera rice, raita, and the option to choose between sabzi/dal(any 3 of your choice), so I chose bhindi ki sbzi (my favorite), palak paneer, and dal without a doubt.
It was excellent. The cost was 22 euros for this thali & I think it’s worth it.
The location appears to be far from my home; otherwise, I would have preferred to have dinner here at least once a week.Lol,,of course if they give me some discount:P

Definitely not authentic Indian food – unfortunately the worst I’ve ever tasted. We didn’t touch our mains and only managed to eat the naan and poppadoms. On top of that, it was way overpriced – at least €30 more than any other Indian restaurant iv been too.

Generally OK. Onion bhaji was nice tasting but swimming in grease on the plate. Needs to be drained. Cxn Tikka was dry. Lamb Rogan josh and biryani were both dry but sauce was tasty. Service was great and atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. Beer was nice and cold.

Where do I start. We had high expectations coming, as it's award winning. Fair experience with Indian restaurants around the city. Ordered lamb jalfrezi, pilau rice and naan bread. Lamb was dry and tough, naan bread was like cardboard at the bottom. Best thing was the dips with poppadom. Not sure if poppadoms was in house or fresh from the bag. Best was the dips. All were very nice. Ambience is top notch. More expensive than competition.
The Curry House offers an exceptional and authentic atmosphere that truly captures the spirit of Indian dining. The food was absolutely phenomenal in flavor and beautifully presented. Masum’s warmth and professionalism elevated the entire experience; his hospitality was second to none. I’ll definitely be returning. A must-visit for any lover of Indian cuisine!

We were 6 of us & decided to go out early and avoid the crowds. We arrived at 16.50, the restaurant did not start serving until 17.00. It also serves as a coffeehouse serving Starbucks coffee. We were shown to a table and given the menu to read and we ordered drinks while we waited. The service was excellent and when it arrived the food was delicious anď beautifully presented.The restaurant was filling up as we finished our meal. They also do a very popular takeaway that was extremely busy but this in no way impeded the quality of our experience.
I would recommend "The Curry House" as a wonderful place to enjoy an evening enjoying a myriad of tasty dishes.

Food is good, I was regurlarly ordering for years and I never have been disappointed with the taste (biryani, tandoori dishes are delicious). 3* for 2 reasons 1. One of my favorite dish Jumbo Prawns Tandoori as a starter costs €11.75 (3 prawns) 2. And the main reason that made me order much less during the last year really is the packaging use. One dish= one, two (side) or three (sauce) plastic boxes. They can be cleaned with a lot of washing liquid (a bit oily, strong flavours sticking to the plastic) and maybe reused but far from ideal. I wish they used compostable packaging like Camile for example (I am not paid by Camile to mention them) they became where I order the most for their choice of packaging that contributes to less plastic pollution which is an important topic nowadays.
To sum up: I would order more often if the packaging was compostable.

It's a nice beautiful Indian Restaurant at Raheen in Limerick which attracts very cosmopolitan crowd. A variety of options available and are really tasteful. If you compare to Indian food in India than obviously it may lack on many fronts but in Ireland it's one of the best Indian taste offering. A review of this Restaurant can't be complete without the mention of Danny and Masum, both provide excellent service and are just awesome at their job.
Good indian food. As an Indian, I can say that I enjoyed the food, the flavours were little different than expected for some dishes though, but still good. They give papad (crisps) to every table (with different dips which are really delicious).
Good vegetarian options.
Biryani, Yellow tadka dal, lemon rice were great. Starters were a little disappointed though.

Staff are always very friendly here. Coffee is nice, they have a selection of roasts, which is cool. Food is nice too, maybe a tiny bit pricey but it's nice for a treat. It's unfortunate since a few places fall victim to this, but I think the overall experience is more suited for eating in. Looking forward to that day post lockdown. I feel like a 5 stars is due then and you'll get more value for money.

Visited Esquires for late lunch after the Limerick Great Run. Unfortunately they were out of most of the dishes on the menu (probably because of the crowds).
We had to get the chicken chorizo sandwich. The sandwich was huge, so quantity was not an issue. The combination of chicken and cheese was also delicious. However the sandwich was a bit dry, too toasty. The chips we got as a side were also good. Didn't get any coffee.
The seating is good and comfortable. The staff is great.
Had heard really good reviews about this place (and food). Will visit again to try the other dishes.
May Bank Holiday Monday visit this morning. Greeted with the sight of freshly baked muffins just out of the oven. Couldn't resist. They were delicious and so worth it, we went for strawberry Nutella and Snickers, the hidden filling was a treat. Be warned, they are premium muffin prices however at €5. Excellent coffee, enjoyed generous large cups of skinny cappuccino and oat latte. Extra points for lovely latte art. Again be warned that these are also premium prices at €4+, plant milk is also 50c extra. Staff were friendly, service was prompt, it got busy while we were there but the atmosphere was really relaxed. Sat at comfy window seat. Can't wait to come back, probably early in the morning again for that fresh baking. 😍😋

Busy when we arrived but we were seen to within 5 mins. The staff were lovely and service was quick. We ordered the Falafel Wrap and Goats Cheese Bruschetta and both were delicious in their own right. We were pleasantly surprised and had a wonderful dining experience here. The coffee is top quality too. Would highly recommend.

I am a regular customer of Lana raheen and food is usually great. Tonight I ordered a spice box with extra veg. Usually this comes with peppers, onions, broccoli, all different kinds of veg. Absolutely no vegetables were on my spice box and very little seasoning. The chicken nearly broke my teeth too. The docket had extra veg written on multiple times and still no veg to be seen. Ended up throwing most of it out. Very disappointed.

Incredible Asian foodie experience at Lana Raheen...I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and prawns and I can honestly say it was the best I've ever had! The starter of Bangkok Chicken wings was so so delicious. Overall this was an excellent dining experience...thank you Lana for the superb food. The staff were excellent and extremely attentive.
Good food but bad service in this location. Last 2 times I went here, I was turned away because "last orders are done" despite it being an hour before their listed closing time. All I wanted was a takeaway! Despite this, I watched many other customers walking in to collect orders that I assume were put in online... is this a restaurant or an online takeaway??? Won't return here.
Must try - Nasi Goreng and Chicken Chowmein noodles. Really good and recommend dine in. Dine in a small bit pricy but worth it.

Food was soooooo delicious! We're visiting from the USA and haven't had good curry in a long time. We got the pangang curry on an 8.50 special and a kids mild curry. Both were delicious with a sweet coconut flavor.
To top it off we got free ice cream with our order which my 1 yr old and 3 yr old also loved. I wish this place were back home. I would definitely be a repeat customer!

Amazing place for breakfast! Place was packed but they gave their best to find the seats for us immediately. Huge coffee, best Irish breakfast, fresh made food is coming in just few minutes. There is also a small library where you can borrow a book. It was 8th of March and such a charming guys on the bar gave me and all the ladies present a rose. Perfect start of the day in Limerick! I don't understand the reviews of this restaurant. The service is pleasant, but what I ate didn't live up to its rating! Dry, unseasoned wrap, with uncooked products, some barely out of the can (chickpeas). I had to add salt and pepper: not very tasty. The atmosphere is quite noisy and the air extraction is poorly done; it was foggy because of the kitchen.
I can't give my opinion on the rest of the menu, which, judging by the reviews, seems to be good. This is only my opinion on a one-off visit.

It was rainy sunday in limerick but this food definitely made my day. Also the staff was lovely, especially the guy who was very quick and welcoming. Cudos to the chef, we really loved the food here. They were almost full which is always a good sign. Definitely recommending having breakfast here, they had many options.
Nutella Crepe with a coffee is my usual, great value for €8.55 !! There’s another cafe in Limerick (will remain nameless) that charges double for the same thing! Fresh and delectable. Cosy calm atmosphere and service is very good.
What a delightful place to start the morning! The cafe is absolutely adorable. The staff is energetic and friendly. The warm welcome we received left us beaming. The meals are made fresh, the portions are large, and the prices are reasonable.
You should definitely stop in for a quickly pastry & coffee to-go or stay a while for a heartier sit down meal.

Brilliant Café! Always so friendly with quick service. I love treating myself to a cappuccino and a chocolate croissant after a night shift here. On my last visit, I tried their new salted caramel croissants and it was, again, a knockout! Had to snap the perfect lamination, best croissant I've ever had.
I also went on a long drive after buying my coffee and it went cold. I hate cold coffee... Except for this one, it was still so tasty cold!

I came to Caffe Waffle for breakfast and had a spinach & feta roll, a shortbread cookie, and a caramel latte — everything was delicious! I’m not exactly sure what the spinach & feta roll is made of, but I really enjoyed it. The customer service was excellent, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The only downside is that there’s not much space inside, but overall I had a great experience and will definitely be back.

My god. The lemon muffins. AMAZING. The place smelt incredible. Was only dropping in to get coffee on our way through to Cliffs of Moher. I bought 1 lemon muffin and I had to go and buy two more I just knew that this was going to be something that I would always crave for the rest of my life.The guy making the coffees was super lovely.
I had the most delightful breakfast experience at Caffe Waffe today! The food was incredibly delicious, and I was especially impressed by the culinary expertise of their chef, Karol. His skills as a cooking specialist truly shone through in every bite.

We stopped here for a coffee and snack today and it looked like a nice place. Unfortunately there was no indoor seating due to the current situation with Covid 19. There was however nice seating outside.
We ordered a coffee each and a treat. I had a rhubarb pie while my other half an apple crumble. It was pricey enough at 14 Euros in total.
When our order arrived the lady had given us an apple pie and not the crumble that was ordered. We had even ordered and pointed to the crumble, which was sitting on the counter. Eitherway we didn't complain or mention we had ordered otherwise, no biggie.
Coffee was fine, desert was good too. I didn't like the big blob of cream it came with but that's personal preference I guess, others may love it! I would have liked my pie heated but again that's just personal preference!

Got cottage pie but the interior was cold. A bit expensive (~12 euro) for that experience. It was also very watery although I am unsure if that's supposed to be the case (I am not local). I liked the coleslaw and the beets so I did not leave hungry. But the cottage pie made me a bit sad.

Really nice staff. Pizza isn't the best I've ever had but is definitely among the best of this sort of takeaway pizza in town. Very quick service and excellent deals (even if the prices went up a little - 6 euros for small pizza with two toppings, chips, and a can, no more tub of garlic dip - 12 euros for a large with four toppings as of May 2022). One star off because sometimes they've made mistakes with my orders but they're always quick to fix it and sometimes even give me freebies when they make a mistake.

I had a really upsetting experience at Nancy Blake’s on 31 October 2025. My non-white friends who are doctors were denied entry by the door staff without any valid reason, even though we were sober, polite, and well-dressed.
It quickly became obvious that non-white people in our group were being treated differently. White Irish patrons were allowed in easily, while non-white guests, including those of apparent Indian background, were turned away.
This was clear racial discrimination, which is both unacceptable and against the Equal Status Acts. I've also taken note of multiple reviews that have the same ongoing theme of racial discrimination. This is absolutely appalling. I’ve reported the incident to management and hope they take it seriously — no one should be treated this way.

Without a doubt the best pint of Guinness in Limerick! Great pub with a welcoming atmosphere! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to try the food yet but I've been told it's quite good!
I went here with a few friends on the 4th of October and we were refused entry while two guys were let in right before us. When we asked why, the staff told us “guys aren’t welcome.” It was embarrassing and honestly felt discriminatory. We weren’t rude, we were dressed fine, we just got turned away for no reason that made sense.
It’s really sad that this kind of thing still happens in 2025. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, and we definitely didn’t feel that here. I hope management takes this seriously and trains their staff better, because no one should be made to feel unwelcome like that.
Really enjoyed the vibe at Nancy Blake’s. Bartender was super nice. Drinks were good. It’s deceivingly big and also has an outdoor space. This is a place I’d probably visit every time I’m in town. Not pretentious, friendly atmosphere.
I have being going here since the 90s. A 👍 good pub. Its still more or less the same as it was back then. The years slip by. I usually go in there on a weekend afternoon to watch a match. I haven't being here on a late 🙃 night in a while.

Dean from Treaty City Brewery suggested we head down to Mother Mac's, whiskey bar for our next round and to check out the rest of the area.
On our way, we walked through what is probably not the nicest/safest part of town and passed the Milk Market (which was already closed for the day). It seemed like this area had some drug/criminal stuff going on, so while we did grab a drink at Mother Mac's, we didn't stay long.
The bar was nice enough inside, the staff was friendly and attentive, and it felt like a local spot for a Guinness.
I've been going here since I arrived in Ireland. Always a great service and great atmosphere. The pub is beautiful and the staff friendly and welcoming. I recommend to anyone visiting Limerick.

Super little pub in the heart of Limerick just off the beaten track. I've been outside loads of times throughout the lockdown, it's fantastic if you have a bit of sunshine. But it's even a nicer pub inside full of little snugs. They have a extensive range of whiskey and all the usual stuff you would expect for a local pub. The Guinness was some of the best I've ever had, not just of what I've had in Limerick. I'll definitely be back to try out the rest of what the have to offer. The staff are really friendly and very accommodating, I don't think anything would be too much trouble for them.

We thoroughly enjoyed our cod and whiting with chips, though it was disappointing to find that the cod was some sort of pressed, pre-fab fish and not the authentic thing. All the people doing the frying and the delightful woman taking our order couldn't have been nicer, too.

Nice pub to relax and inhale the irish flair. Best thing is that you get chicken and chips for free if you are there in the afternoon, really delicious 😋 If you are a tourist be open to the locals, its fun to step into a conversation.

Whilst on a trip to Limerick from England, with sister in law (from Bonnie Scotland) we popped in for a drinkie at this charming pub. Gorgeous pint of Guinness, amazing Halloween dressed staff and beautiful autumnal decorations. Hope you don't mind the photo Mr bar man who graciously allowed his photo to be taken. After take 5 we managed to stop laughing at him trying to look scarey. Made my day 🤣🤣. See you next time we visit Ireland 💚☘️

went in the afternoon and it was very quiet. only one bartender tending the bar and it was good and brief service. food was not being served when we went, but they did sell packaged bags of beacon crisps and peanuts. there is also an outdoor beer area that overlooks the water.

Just popped in for a pint of Guinness as it was recommended as a nice pub. The inside of this place is stunning. They were serving meals (was a Sunday and roast beef looked a winner) from a hot counter. Looked amazing but didn’t have time to eat here. Hopefully next time.

The pub is famous for most say the best pint of Guinness in Limerick. They now have an evening menu which is keenly priced. We tried the chicken burger, thai prawn curry and the fish and chips. All were delicious, great service and atmosphere. What more can you ask for?

Wow, it’s so good to return to the copper rooms. The owners John and Amanda are absolutely amazing and manager Stephen is so lovely and took the time to talk to us. The staff here are exceptional. So happy to see the cooper rooms open . Ye don’t need luck guys cause ye are so lovely ❤️

First of all the staff in here are so friendly and very accommodating. Dropped the star due to the very loud music could barely hear conversation. It’s not a night club it’s a wine bar would prefer music volumn to be lowered. We got the cheese board which was nice but had to ask for more crackers as didn’t get enough for the cheese and was charged for extra crackers. Overall it is a fab wine bar staff are lovely and nice set up just lower music volumn please. Will def go back again

We were just here for some wine and food, but it turned out that they aren't serving any food until 5pm. The lovely gentleman however prepped up a nice cheeseboard for us with some olives, salami, carrots and hummus. Everything was delicious and he didn't charge us for it. Actually felt a awful for not tipping so the least I can do is leave a good review and promise to tip next time we're there. Which we definitely will.

Great atmosphere and vibes. The Copper Room serves a huge variety of wines and a small tapas menu. Don't come here with an empty stomach as you won't get a filling meal. But, you can expect great service, food, and drinks.
Love the ambiance, love the wine and love the food. We selected to make our own board and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend.

Myself and my partner have been ordering from House for well over a year now, and had it today for the first time in a while. The shop is much cleaner than our last visit, the food quality is way better for a very minimal price increase and the staff are following stricter food safety guidelines which is always fantastic to see! Keep up the great work lads!
Would have giving 5 stars as the food is delicious but we ordered it the other night and it took nearly 2 hours and we only live about 20 minute drive so that was disappointing.

Chez Le Fab is a vintage clothing coffee shop and the first of its kind I have ever stumbled upon. It is a great place to get some coffee and browse through the pretty clothing, or admire some of the displayed jewelry made by local artists for sale. There are also games to play, as well as rocking chairs. The wine bar features a variety of wines from all over the world, as well as delicious food options such as sandwiches and pastries.
I just loved it. It was so interested. Amazing furniture, crafts, vintage fashion, chocolate fudge cake to die for. Games to play. Rocking chairs. Just wow

Finally got a chance to visit here. Took the dogs and loved being able to bring them in with me. Staff lovely and all dog lovers. Ordered crepe dish with banana and cream. Disappointed with portion size, 1 crepe! Coffee was really good. Toilets need a complete revamp!
My first impressions were how warm and friendly the owners and the staff were. The setting was fun, quirky and intimate, and the food was lovely. I think Limerick has, for a very long a time, been lacking in alternative entertainment outside of the usual boring pub and disco scene, and we are now only catching up with what Dublin, the UK and the US have enjoyed for decades. This place is like a little friendly golden nougat/haven of delight where everyone can go, all ages can enjoy and as such, we should be supporting and embracing it. The wine is good, the food is good, and it's a night of fun laughs, and intelligent conversation. Don't forget also, it's a coffee shop during the day (very dog friendly) Elvis (my chihuahua) and I have had a very pleasant hour or so there during the day. I must mention, more importantly, that Chez le Fab is one of the very few places in Limerick that serve a decent cup of coffee. My neighbour and I went for the Cabaret & Cabernet held on the last Friday of every month. We didn't know the crowd but we're made to feel extremely welcome. Laura, the host is beautiful, fabulous, and a very intelligent girl, extremely inclusive of everybody. As host and commentaire for the other acts, she is witty, funny and very entertaining, and she does it like she was born onstage, very professional. Indeed all the burlesque acts are very professionally done. Chez le Fab was badly needed in Limerick for a very long time so go on, take the time out of your schedules and pay it a visit, well worth the effort.

Chez le Fab is hands down the most interesting café in Limerick! They do a variety of events from entertainment to charity, their coffee is really good and food tasty. The interior is quirky and the atmosphere welcoming with people conversing across table borders. What's not to love!? They're dog friendly too, which is a huge bonus for me and my furry girl Binks.
It's the first time I write such a negative review but I haven't seen such a worst meal in my life. We went there following all the good reviews and what we found was a very quirky cafe, dog friendly which is great but with dirty tables and dreadful food. We ordered a bacon and brie crepe (which was undercook), a potato and leak "soup" that was like a mash so we didn't eat it and a mini breakfast. Egg, sausages and bacon was so overdone that was impossible to eat so we just left the place with an empty stomach. Worst experience ever. Big let down.
Fantastic cafe, eclectic decor, great coffee lovely staff and to top it off - Dog friendly! I didn't sample the food but it looked amazing so will definitely try the crepes on my next visit.
