British restaurant
Restaurant
The Baytree is a delightful restaurant situated in the picturesque Tudor Square of Tenby, exuding warmth with its wood-hued interiors and charming exposed beams. This cozy eatery specializes in British comfort food, featuring standout dishes like their luxurious champagne chicken, which combines tender chicken strips with fresh mushrooms in a rich cream sauce. The menu proudly showcases locally sourced ingredients, including seafood and Pembrokeshire beef from nearby farms, ensuring every bite supports local businesses.
Baytree when in Tenby and it never disappoints. The food (all locally sourced )is amazing. The staff are so welcoming and service is excellent We visited yesterday for Sunday lunch without a booking and although it was extremely busy they were very accommodating. The are not providing WiFi to encourage conversation - which is fine - but the music was turned up too loud during our visit! Nevertheless, they did turn it down when we asked them. Our server was polite and attentive throughout. The portions were perfect, everything came out quickly, and the food was absolutely delicious. Great location right in the centre of Tenby, easy to find and access. Would definitely come back!

Food is great; tasty sharing platter for starters. Best warm pretzels. I enjoyed the olives for first time ever, also the sundried tomatoes had a great flavour without being too intense. Mussels in a delicious creamy sauce and fries. Only feedback would be to greet customers when they enter restaurant. Would completely recommend.
Sarah W — Google review
We stopped here for lunch. It was a lovely place, nice music, not too loud. Nice atmosphere, lovely food and decor. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Asriel C — Google review
A lovely place! It was a good find. We could not get in there the first time. It was fully booked. It is very popular. We booked a table next time. Beautiful interior inside and outside. Lovely atmosphere. The food was great. Friendly and helpful staff. We did not feel rushed.

Would really recommend this place. The food was amazing. My partner said his steak was cooked perfectly. Huge portions. Good atmosphere - no WiFi so a lovely place to chat and play board games. Staff were all super friendly and service was great. We hadn't booked but they found us a table really quick.
Katie H — Google review
An excellent find! Came across the Bay Tree on a Sunday morning so decided to pop in to book for lunch. So pleased we did! Really buzzing atmosphere when we returned. Everything exemplary! Value for money very good, delicious food and very friendly staff. Well done.!
Leigh S — Google review
Just stopped for an early tea and we were lucky enough to have a table. My husband went for the lamb and I had the chicken stack. Wow food was excellent staff are lovely. A great atmosphere and all in all a 10/10. Finished off with a slice of cheesecake and left with a full tum. Highly recommend for a fabulous dinner. Would recommend booking unless you want to chance it as we did.
Tracey T — Google review
Visited The Baytree in Tenby on a busy Monday night at the start of September. We were glad to have made a reservation, as the restaurant was packed, and I'd definitely recommend booking ahead, especially during the busy season. The service was a definite highlight of our evening. Our waitress was excellent—attentive, friendly, and prompt, making us feel well looked after from start to finish. We also found the wine list to be a pleasant surprise, with a good selection of bottles that offered great value for money. However, the food was a mixed bag. While it wasn't bad, it was unfortunately quite average, especially considering the price point. With most mains approaching £30, our total bill for four people came to £174, not including a service charge. Given the quality of the food, we felt the value for money was not great. The experience didn't quite align with the 4.6-star rating we had seen on Google Maps. While the service and atmosphere were fantastic, the food left a bit to be desired. It's a lovely spot for a drink and a social evening, but we would hesitate to recommend it as a top culinary destination.

Pizza restaurant
Italian restaurant
Top Joe's Tenby is a modern and stylish outpost known for its delicious pizzas with unique dough made from UK-milled flour. They offer a wide range of toppings, including vegan options, and pride themselves on handcrafting everything from scratch to cater to specific tastes. In addition to their popular pasta dishes, the restaurant also serves cocktails in a pet-friendly environment.
Great pizza joint, but not a great deal of choice if you're not a pizza fan. Three salad's on the menu all hearty. No pasta this is a pizza restaurant. Booking highly recommended even out of season, especially at weekends. Takeaway does a brisk trade. Limited selection of wine and beer. Great place for small groups, atmosphere a little muted. Highly recommended. Service was great.
Alex W — Google review
It was the nicest pizza place I have ever been to. The atmosphere was kind and welcoming, the service was fast, and the food was amazing. Me and my partner went there multiple times during our 4 day holiday to Tenby, and everytime we were amazed by how wonderful the overall experience was.
Daniel R — Google review
Amazing authentic pizza! Great value and Italian feel dining. I highly recommend booking as it gets very busy!!! This was our second visit and the food was even better than I remembered. They are dog friendly and also do takeaways for those who prefer to dine on the beach! It’s a little hidden gem, worth a visit!
Megan J — Google review
We had a great evening at Top Joes. Absolutely fantastic pizza! Perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were brilliant. Great value for money and the cold beers went down so good. If you're in Tenby this is a great spot for some food. Highly reccomended
Luke C — Google review
Great pizza, we enjoyed it so much we had to visit twice in one week. The bases are delicious, just the right amount of crispiness, and the place has a great ambience
Paul B — Google review
Amazing pizza. The service was really friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for a table.
Olu O — Google review
Pizza was very nice, possibly the best one I have had in Tenby so definitely worth the visit to Top Joe's. I Went for the Prosciutto Pizza and had the Cheesy Garlic Bread as a side which were both cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic. The service was quick and efficient, staff were very friendly. The only downside was that I did notice a fair amount of flies hovering around whilst we were trying to eat, so if you do visit, ask for a table far from the door as it was left open. We did book a table in advance which is recommended, they do also do take away which you can order whilst you are there.
James S — Google review
We booked for our group of 9 with kids at 5pm when they open. It was full within half an hour so very popular. Great pizzas and everyone enjoyed the food, nice wine too! - Great friendly service and quick too which is great with kids. Probably wouldn’t have desserts next time as quite expensive for what they are but overall great place and will return.

Had Sunday lunch today with our two young children - honestly one of the best Roast dinners I’ve ever had!!! Children both made the same comment. Beef was amazing, loads of meat and veggies to share and at a reasonable price!! Topped off by a great atmosphere and brilliant friendly service. Highly recommend for Sunday Lunch

Came here for lunch and the experience was nothing but pleasant. Amazing customer service and the food came so quickly, the food temperature was perfect and quality was excellent. Great value for money the portions were very generous and all homemade. Would come here again and definitely recommend!!

Seafood platter for two was a delight. Tempura prawns were delicious, loved the light, slightly spiced batter. Lobster was beautifully cooked and seasoned. Portion was plentiful, so much so we had mussels and some calamari left over. Great service and nice atmosphere.
Ben R — Google review
You will not be dissapointed! The food here is amazing! I had the fish and chips and it’s the best fish and chips I have ever had! The batter was perfect and didn’t go soggy at all! Chips were great and the mushy peas were out of this world! I didn’t know mushy peas could taste so good!! 100% recommend this place! Service was great too!!

We had a great meal here with our friends to celebrate my husband's birthday. The staff were really warm and welcoming and also very helpful with our friend's gluten free requirements. The portion sizes are huge but we all really enjoyed the food. Sadly no room for pudding though. Oh, and by the way, it's dog friendly!
Nikki P — Google review
A friend recommended so we popped in for lunch. Friendly staff and the food tasty. Had the half back ribs and 1/4 chicken. I struggled to finish it. The ribs were moist and the meat fell off the bone . Hubby had the crab linguini with king prawns which was also very tasty. Would recommend. Dog friendly too!

Room was extremely spacious and clean. Location amazing 2 mins walk from car park! Food was amazing large portions and staff were very friendly and accommodating. No fridge in room however bar staff was happy to give us glasses/ice buckets when asked, so couldn't grumble at all!! One very happy customer keep up the good work team!!

It is very rare for a place to wow me whilst on holiday but this place manage to do it 👍🏻 it was extremely busy! But they still managed to offer me a table for 4 and warn me wait times 🕣 could be 35 mins before anything comes out from kitchen! Wait was eventually only 20 mins but the food that came out was stunning 🤩, it was freshly prepared 🍳 and really tasty 😋 definitely worth a pop in whilst in Tenby, highly recommended 5 🌟

The menu boasts modern British cuisine with an emphasis on fresh, locally sourced seafood and meat dishes. Came here for lunch. We had a lovely warm welcome The food was incredible, seafood linguine and a crab sandwich. Gorgeous wine and desserts Prices on the higher end, but definitely worth it

A Stunning Historical Venue. The Lobster walked up to the table and introduced itself it was so fresh! Exceptionally pleasant lunch service. Very well chosen wine menu. Unpretentious top quality food. Everyone in Tenby has been so friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to come back. This was a perfect final afternoon in the Sun.
Paul K — Google review
We went during lunch time to try the Sunday Roast and it was absolutely delicious! The quality of the ingredients is great and the vegetables are nicely cooked. We made a reservation bc it is quite busy during Sundays. I absolutely recommend this place for a Sunday Roast and probably we will come back to try different things!
Estefania J — Google review
Tucked away down the alley, this is a gem of a restaurant. It has a feel of something pleasantly old fashioned, with a menu that is not too extensive, suggesting that the food is indeed, freshly prepared and makes you feel you are treating yourself to something special. The service is very friendly and timely. I chose the wild mushroom linguine and it was worth every penny. Creamy sauce, with mushrooms full of flavour and the pasta cooked perfectly. The restaurant had guests from Italy,Netherlands and France and I'm sure that they all went away, impressed with the dishes served. A great place to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary and in all liklihood, somewhere we will visit again, quite soon.
Hail T — Google review
We came here as a spur-of-the-moment decision, having enjoyed a pint of IPA in the downstairs bar. We were welcomed and offered a choice of tables. The regular menu looked fab, but our eyes had caught the Tenby half lobster on the specials board, so we both opted for that. When it came, it was a big half lobster, nicely seasoned, with plenty of meat in the tail and, after the usual cracking, in the claws. It was sublime. Served with a fresh salad and perfectly cooked hot fries, this was an outstanding meal. We also enjoyed the apple and raspberry crumble for dessert. Accompanying our meal were a glass of Sauvignon and another of Pinot blush, both going well with the respective courses. Wonderful friendly service. This was a wonderful meal to round off our stay in beautiful Tenby. (One other restaurant guest came up to inspect our lobster and was inspired to choose the same, and he seemed very happy with his choice too.) A wonderful place for a relaxed and delicious meal.
Christian T — Google review
This place was so good - both in terms of food and service - that I went back the next night. The mussels, bangers and mash, scallops and the crumble are top notch. Pro tip - just sit at the bar if it’s crowded.
Tim N — Google review
This place was a real gem! I spent the month of Sept traveling around the UK and Ireland and happened to be in Tenby on my 40th birthday, so wanted to take myself out to dinner. I was looking for a relaxed vibe but with good food that felt worthy of a "birthday dinner," even though I was traveling solo. I really lucked out with this place! The owner was there and his son was tending bar and I could have talked to them all night. So friendly and fun! The woman who brought my food and took my order was so attentive and accommodating even though I was eating downstairs instead of in the main dining area (upstairs). Excellent service!! I ended up chatting with a lovely couple with an adorable dog all night, drinking wine, and eating fantastic scallops...my birthday dinner couldn't have been better. At the end of the night, the owner paid my tab! Who does that?! This was one of my top 10 dining experiences. Everyone should visit Plantagenet House when in Tenby if you want a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, a relaxed vibe in a cool setting, and yummy food.
Andrea M — Google review
The service was friendly, though a little inconsistent at times. I ordered the Welsh beef steak with rustic potatoes, grilled vegetables, and peppercorn sauce. I asked for medium rare but unfortunately received it quite rare (I know I could have sent it back, but once a steak has been cut into, I feel it loses something). We also had a long wait for both the main course and the dessert—the latter was even forgotten at first. That said, I tried my partner’s risotto and it was absolutely delicious. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys British cuisine, though I do feel the steak dishes could be more innovative. We tipped generously, as we did enjoy our evening overall, and I truly hope the restaurant takes these points into consideration. Wishing them all the best going forward.

Located in the heart of Tenby, Qube Restaurant is a renowned dining spot offering delectable seafood and top-notch service. The restaurant has recently undergone renovations, providing a sophisticated and welcoming ambiance for patrons to savor their internationally inspired dishes. Whether you're seeking a cozy meal by the open fire during winter or an al fresco dining experience in the sunny outdoor seating area, Qube caters to all preferences.
This stylish gastrobar has so much to offer from their menu! Recently opened in Tenby town centre, Tudor Mount is worth a visit! We popped along for a bite to eat one lunch time and they have 3 tapas dishes for £20. We went for: 🔹Chorizo sausages 🔹Halloumi fries 🔹 Sticky chicken balls with chilli & garlic 🔹Side of cheesy garlic bread I have never had garlic bread like it before. The bread was so light & fluffy with quite a strong flavoured cheese on top and inside. Stunning restaurant, great food & in a great location if your heading to Tenby ✨

We visited for a mid week evening meal. Food was pleasant, albeit the steak slightly tough. Our visit was scared by my pregnant wife asking for (very clearly!) a Tom Collins mock cocktail, but being given an alcoholic one. When asking the bar staff to check, they confirmed it was a mocktail until 5 min lager coming over and saying it was alcoholic! Appalling - my wife hasn’t drunk for 8 months and felt really dizzy after this. This is just not on, and more attention to detail is needed. Had this been a peanut incident someone could have died.
Rhys M — Google review
We stopped here for a drink while staying locally, then decided to stop for lunch. We sat outside in the sun, it’s a nice spot to people watch and sheltered from the wind. We had the tapas 3 for £20.00, they have a good choice, it was difficult to decide. The dishes were served hot and freshly cooked, delicious. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and it was very busy, Jill was so nice, it makes such a difference when staff smile. The toilets, bar and restaurant areas were all clean and fresh . Thank you ☺️

Beautifully presented food and cooked to perfection. We had a free bottle of wine with 2 meals off the meals of the day list for £50. We were seated immediately but there's a little longer waiting for service than I'd like however food was brought out reasonably quickly for freshly cooked meals. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean and warm setting, child friendly and I would highly recommend this restaurant
Natalie H — Google review
The food was good, but not something extraordinary. The staff (at least the manager) - wasn’t very polite when advising that dogs aren’t allowed on the benches. Generally quite small portions. It was ok for me, but my husband had a Cannon of Lamb (£29) - and he was still hungry. I had a seafood specials - which was half-lobster with linguine. Linguine was a bit salty. Lobster was tasty, but small. £80 spent, not sure if it was the best choice for dinner. Waiter also did not come for ages in the beginning and the end. We waited for quite a long time. Otherwise, nice atmosphere, ambient and not too loud as in normal pubs.
Julia B — Google review
Came here to have a meal with my best friend and we were amazed by how nice the place is. The food was delicious and great quality. Was served by a lovely woman called Jess. Definitely be coming back again 😄
Finlay — Google review
Very nice food, but staff not the best. Arrived at the pub earlier than booked, but was pretty empty so were taken straight to our seats. Had to wait 5 minutes before being asked for our drinks. After they arrived, waited another 15+ minutes before being asked for our order, as the staff were more interested in a birthday party/celebration that was on the "big" table. When we ordered, food turned up in a reasonable time. Starter was nice. And the 20oz steak was very, very good. One of the best steaks I've had. They cleared the plates away when finished, and we asked for the bill. Over 15 minutes again passed by, so we got up and stood by the counter to pay our bill. If they employed some staff that had manners, this would definitely be one of the best spots in Tenby. Prices were fair for the food served. Food 5/5 Service 2/5

Amazing food and atmosphere; we spent the evening there after dinner listening to the live music and having a good time. Food was honestly fantastic and nice drinks; very busy place with great atmosphere.

Beautiful , superb place to go. Great value , great food and amazing cocktails. They do 241 cocktails at certain times ( I think its 5-7pm ) they do a kids eat free deal at certain times amd do different meal deals throughout the week. We had the dirty fries and omg they were amazing. We didnt book a table but I would reccomend booking to guarantee a table.

We came once for drinks, and then popped in again another day for lunch. We both opted for the Caesar salad, which came with slightly-spicy chicken, and two deep-friend anchovies. It was tasty. We would both have liked a few more anchovies and perhaps slightly less chicken, but we enjoyed it. This is a lovely place in Tenby for a drink or a nice meal.

We have just been to the cove for tea. My husband had the Seasoned Paprika and Mint Welsh Lamb Rump and I had the chicken tikka flatbread. Food was outstanding. Really enjoyed it. Visited for lunch. Food was nice and fresh, but overpriced for the portion size - £12 for a basic baguette. The only accompaniment was a very small portion of coleslaw. A portion of chips or crisps should be included for this price. Staff were very helpful and friendly. With so many other options in Tenby, I don’t think I’d return.

Restaurant
This popular Italian restaurant has a prime location overlooking the harbour, and offers an amazing variety of dishes made with traditional Italian ingredients. The restaurant is well maintained and the staff are very experienced in making sure you have a perfect dining experience.
We were traveling to Tenby for the first time. We just walked in into this restaurant for dinner and luckily the place turned out to be amazing. It mostly has indoor seating though there were a few tables outside . We sat inside because it was evening and was getting a bit cold. The food was quite flavorful and the portion sizes were big. We ordered bruschetta, rosemary potatos, tagliatelle pasta with mushroom and garlic bread and panacotta along with cosmopolitan. Pasta was really delicious. Everything that we ordered was vegetarian . The location of the restaurant is also nice . If u step out of the restaurant, you can see the beach from the top . Surely would recommend to anyone who likes Italian cuisine
Puja S — Google review
Slightly disappointing the service really lets this place down. The food however is really yummy and the portion sizes are big. When we arrived we were seated straight away and were handed the menus. A larger group came in about 10 mins after us, they were seated and almost straight away drinks orders were taken. It then took a little time before the waiter came back to ask us what drinks we wanted. We asked if we could also place our food order at the same time, we were told that was not possible and he would be back in a minute. Some 10 to 15 mins past before he returned. Appreciate that there were other customers however the quicker we are in and out the more customers they can take. Once our orders were finally placed the food turned up quite quickly. The food was really nice and the portion were big, I wish I had not had a starter.

We had a wonderful experience at Florentino’s in Tenby! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming! The staff were very friendly and attentive, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh ingredients, full of flavor, and nicely presented. A great spot in Tenby for anyone who enjoys authentic and tasty Italian cuisine. Highly recommended!

We booked in advance as not local to the area and wanted to find some good food. Upon arrival we was immediately greeted by Costa, throughout our visit Costa was attentive, friendly and very informative of the menu. Recommendations of meals and what worked well together was very helpful. All staff were friendly and saw to us when needed. The starters were lovely especially the antipasti. It is great for sharing and had a lovely selection. Worked very nicely alongside fresh bread. When the mains came we was more than impressed. All the food was fresh presented well and amazing portions. Costa and other servers checked on us during our visit to ensure we was happy and enjoying everything. The atmosphere was lovely and a nice place to stay even for a drink. Would most definitely recommend this place and if we was to come back to tenby would visit again. food portions so good ended up having to take some home!!!

We enjoyed a family meal here ( our dog Arlo as well ! ) after going on a boat trip. Nice interior and love that it is dog friendly. Excellent, efficient service. Food was really nice , only let down was tiramisu could’ve been stronger :)

Beautiful restaurant, authentic Italian - at a very decent price with excellent service and no service charge! To the point that they refused to take a tip! The quality of the food was incredible as well. The restaurant was busy but to a decent level where you could still hear yourself speak. It also looks out onto the harbour - the perfect location!

This charming restaurant is a true slice of Italy right here in Wales. The staff are attentive and courteous, and the service is pleasantly swift. The atmosphere is wonderfully romantic, enhanced by soft, romantic music playing in the background. The ambience is so delightful that you’ll find yourself reluctant to leave. It’s an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a lovely family meal. The prices are very reasonable, and the cuisine is authentically Italian. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Beautiful restaurant in Tenby harbour. Despite visiting out of season the service & quality of food was outstanding and extremely delicious. Could not be faulted in anyway. I would like to praise the staff who maintained total professionalism with an extremely demanding & at times rude customer sat near us. WELL DONE ALL ROUND!

Nestled just a stone's throw from the stunning beach, Tap & Tân is a must-visit spot for anyone looking to indulge in globally inspired street food. This casual eatery, owned by the Tenby Brewing Co., offers an inviting atmosphere perfect for brunch or dinner with friends and family.
Absolutely loved our visit to Tap & Tan! Such a cool little spot tucked away in Tenby — proper chilled vibe, super friendly staff, and the food was unreal. We had the big smoke sharer and added the tomahawk steak, and honestly, every single bite was incredible. The meat just fell apart, packed with flavour, and the sauces… wow. The loaded fries were next level too — definitely not your average side dish. You can tell everything’s made with care, and they’re not afraid to get creative with the menu. Topped it all off with a couple of pints from Tenby Brewing Co., which were spot on. Great choice of local beers on tap, and the staff were happy to recommend what to try. All in all, just a cracking place to eat, drink, and chill.

Tap n Tan serves amazing American style low and slow smoked food. The tables are quite close together, my back was brushing against another diner quite a bit, but the atmosphere is relaxed and lively. The lighting and music give it a casual, fun vibe. A big bonus for us is that this place is dog friendly. The staff were lovely, and the location is great, tucked down a little alley with other fantastic food options nearby. The food itself was stunning. The brisket in the Texas sandwich was cooked perfectly, and the portions are generous. If I return, I will definitely be going for one of the platters, they look incredible. I am not a fan of the ordering system. QR codes have their time and place, but they can take away something special from the experience. You can also order at the till, but that misses out on true customer service. Overall, it is a fantastic spot for smoked food lovers, and I would happily come back.

If you're in Tenby and craving seriously indulgent comfort food, Tap & Tan by Tenby Brewing Co. is an absolute must. I tried the Brisket Melt and the Texas Sandwich, both stacked high with juicy, smoky beef and packed with flavour. The Brisket Melt was rich and satisfying, while the Texas Sandwich brought that perfect crunch with crispy onions and pickles. On the side, the Millionaire Fries stole the show—loaded with cheese, herbs, and just the right amount of indulgence. The venue has a relaxed and rustic vibe. Also a good selection of craft brews, especially the Yeah Mango. A proper hidden gem!

Really great food and staff are excellent. Friendly and efficient. The pulled pork burger was incredible. The cheesy fries are fantastic. Just a poor choice of music that consisted of rap, would be better if it was a mix of all genres and the music was way too loud, as I couldn’t hear my partner who was sitting opposite me.

A must visit if you're visiting Tenby. We hadn't booked and were told the was no space available so we began to leave. As we were standing outside looking for an alternative place, a table become available and the staff came out to let us know. The staff were friendly, down to earth and were engaging which made the visit more enjoyable. The food and drink selection was also top notch. Well definitely visit again!

We visited Tap & Tan while staying in Tenby and absolutely loved it! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and it’s great that the place is dog-friendly too. The food was fantastic, we shared the Big Smoke, which was delicious and perfect for two. There’s also a great selection of craft beers to choose from that's a must try. A relaxed atmosphere, great service, and definitely a spot we’ll return to next time we’re in Tenby!

Amazing. Booked in advance & a random google search/find. Shared a full platter between 3 and a little something else for the youngest. Found the beer very pricey but utterly delightful. Staff were all super friendly
Anthony E — Google review
We've been such a fan of Tap & Tan for years but our last visit was disappointing. It felt like a fast food service when our burgers & Mac and cheese were brought out in less than five mins. Particularly the brisket mac and cheese was very disappointing, listed as a 'main' there was hardly any meat or loaded toppings - definitely not worth the price! It's still a great place for drinks and atmosphere, and the platter sharers still look impressive, but a shame the food menu has changed. The worst part of all - we've loved the sticky toffee every time, but this time we were served a burnt bottom, plan sponge with squirty cream. Photos from this visit vs a couple of years ago.

Seafood restaurant
The Stables Restaurant offers a relaxed and classy dining experience in a stone-clad setting with dim lighting. Located in a former coaching inn, it provides an intimate atmosphere for enjoying British comfort fare and drinks. The menu features an extensive selection of fish and seafood options, including lobster, bass, hake, salmon, and skate. Additionally, the restaurant caters to vegans, vegetarians, and children with diverse food choices.
We were lucky enough to walk in and eat without a reservation. Both the service and food were excellent. We both enjoyed our meals and appreciated the attention afforded by ownership. A restaurant for special occasions and regular nights alike. Certainly a top restaurant in Tenby. We would return and recommend.

Family of 5 on holiday. We went to The Stables to celebrate our son's 16th birthday. Welcoming, friendly staff. Delicious food, lovely and tender. We had the rack of lamb, salmon, beef steak, venison for the mains and prawns/pate for starters. Lovely wine too! Will be returning. ❤️

An amazing night out. Great choice of food. The best atmosphere we have had in a restaurant. The hake, the bass, the crab, the prawns... the everything... You will not be disappointed. Really brilliant staff, they host you not just serve you. Atmosphere, ethos and ambiance were all wonderful. The chef knows her onions, and her fish, and her starters and her appetisers. The wine was perfect for the occasion and the fish. Can't rave enough about this place and the staff. Beautiful through and through. Wifey special birthday, and they even had a little unexpected surprise for that. Thankyou all. Xx

A hidden gem of a restaurant in the walls of Tenby Town, without doubt the best steak I've had in the past 5 years which was our last trip here, lamb was excellent and all food was clearly cooked with excellence in mind, great service and atmosphere, a place not to be missed

Good service food good overall good .proper old school cooking. Prawns were good as was the rack of Lamb.but the bread and butter pudding was excellent.

Had a lovely meal here last night, venison very well cooked with a great red wine sauce, which wasn't scrimped on. Plenty of veg and potatoes which was nice not to have to ask for more, the portions on all our meals were plentiful. The deserts were also great although my cheese cake couldve been a little larger but that's my preference. The service was spot on albeit the restuarnt was quiet but still very tentative to our needs. Food brought out in a reasonable time although it does state as food is cooked fresh waiting times can be a little longer which is fine especially when you have the great food that's produced here. The only negative is that we wanted to book again but told we have todo this online, for me that's fine but if it was my elderly parents they wouldn't be able todo this and therefore miss out on the splendour of this restuarnt, they may want to consider that if people want to make a booking the staff can book them in using their details whilst there.

Came here with my partner for his birthday and ordered the smoked salmon to start, the venison for my main and the coffee meringue ice cream. Everything was so delicious and the staff were very friendly. My partner just had the encrusted lamb. It was very tender and juicy

Cafe
The Dennis Café, located at the bottom of Castle Hill near Tenby's Castle Beach, offers stunning views and a traditional, welcoming atmosphere. This popular spot is known for its delicious breakfast options like full Welsh breakfast and American pancakes with various toppings. In addition to hot drinks and ice creams, they also provide beach wheelchair and sunbed services. The café's small interior opens up to beautiful beach views on sunny days, while outside seating is available as well.
One of the best spots in Tenby. Great view. Dog and kid friendly. Went here for breakfast this morning (October 2024) and they no longer serve food but have a pop up kitchen instead which was lovely food. You pay separately for food and drinks with this but still have the lovely views and great grub so still the best spot in Tenby for breakfast or a cuppa.

Had the most INCREDIBLE food from Bamboo after seeing their videos on social media. Definitely have to say it’s worth the hype!! Wish we had discovered this place earlier on our holidays because we would have loved to try more of the menu! The guy who served us our food was so polite and attentive (the staff doing the refreshments from the Dennis cafe could have been a bit more accommodating/polite but can’t let that harm the rating for the Bamboo staff!) Overall would come back again!! Don’t miss this hidden gem!

Fantastic spot on Tenby castle beach for a spot of lunch/breakfast. Beautiful views out across the beach on a bright day and the food is lovely. Only small inside with a few tables but they also offer outside seating and their separate venue just across the path. We ordered a large tea cake which noted it served two, we ordered thinking it would be a little larger than a standard tea cake, we were wrong haha it was the size of a dinner plate! Brilliant value for money at £4 and did two adults perfectly for a snack with a coffee!

Mark S — Google review
So, what can I say about this venue? For the past five years we’ve been loyal customers, spending our money on food, drinks, and bits for the beach every time we came to Tenby. Up until the afternoon of the 21st of August 2025, this was our go-to spot — somewhere we could sit outside with our three dogs, our 12-year-old child, and enjoy the sunshine together. In fact, we even chose it for part of our 10th wedding anniversary day out. But let me tell you — that’s where the good ended. After spending around £50 that afternoon alone on food, drinks, and other items, we were suddenly approached by a young man (who turned out to be the manager) and told we had to move from the table because “the benches are reserved for customers only.” Excuse me? The very same table he was literally clearing their own cups and plates from as he spoke to us. When I challenged this obvious nonsense, he muttered under his breath that if I didn’t like it, I should “go in and see the manager.” So I did. Inside, I found the same chap standing behind the counter, now suddenly “the manager.” I pointed out that we had been buying from them all afternoon, so what exactly did he think we were if not customers? His response? Pointing to a sign hidden away on a wall saying the benches are for customers only — as if that magically excused trying to turf us out while we were mid-spend. There were plenty of other empty tables around, so it wasn’t even about space. When he couldn’t justify himself, a woman who also claimed to be “management” took over. And instead of addressing the issue professionally, she launched into a tirade about her fees, council tax, and business rates — as if that somehow excused treating paying customers like a nuisance. When I pressed her for a straight answer on how we weren’t considered customers after spending £50, she failed to answer, then brushed me off with: “Other customers will see it for what it is.” Well yes, they will — because here it is, laid out in black and white. This venue has officially lost a loyal customer of 5 years. On what should have been a special anniversary, we were harassed, disrespected, and made to feel unwelcome by owners who clearly don’t understand the basic rule of hospitality: customers are the single most important asset to any business. In a seasonal, family-run seaside café, you would think that would be obvious. So, thank you for ruining what should have been a happy milestone for me and my wife. You may have cleared one table, but you’ve also cleared out one more paying family — and from what I’ve seen, we won’t be the last. Future customers, take this review exactly for what it is: honest, first-hand, and from someone who genuinely supported this business for half a decade. ✋ Never again

Twelve Tenby is a stylish and attractive restaurant and bar located in the Mews of Tenby. It's known for its charm, elegance, and picture-perfect ambiance that attracts selfie-snappers. The place offers comfortable seating, a good selection of drinks including a decent wine list and tapas-style dishes with unique twists. Visitors praise the fantastic selection of drinks, high-quality food at reasonable prices, courteous staff, and accommodating service.
This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The brilliant friendly staff will accommodate your every wish. Whoever cooks the food has talent for sure, foods are exceptional to say the least. And the cheeseboard is world beating. Walked in on spec whilst in Tenby and they literally could not do enough to make sure our autistic grandaughter was catered for. If you arrive before 7pm they have a happy hour where certain drinks and cocktails are 2 for 1. I had 2 margaritas for the price of one and they were amazing. Such a friendly place with superb food, pretty athomosphere with the lighting, and just fantastic all round experience. Very much enthusiastically recommended if you are in Tenby. We will certainly be back. In fact, have been to Tenby many many times, and really can't believe this is our first visit. Many thanks Twelve xx

Umi is a Japanese restaurant located in Tenby, offering a delightful blend of flavors and aromatic ingredients from Thai, Filipino, Japanese, and Korean cuisines. Situated at the top of Tenby's bustling high street near North Beach, Umi provides a warm welcome and colorful dishes made with local seafood and produce. The menu features fresh and healthy Japanese-influenced dishes with an umami flavor. Guests can expect a relaxed dining experience complemented by friendly service.
This place is a solid 10/10! We didn’t plan to explore the area and just wanted to grab something quick, but this turned out to be an absolute gem. If you love ramen and Japanese food in general, this is a must-try. It’s a small, cosy spot with a lovely aesthetic – really pleasing to sit in. We’re not from the area and had travelled over 100 miles for work, but honestly, the food alone made the trip worth it. The ramen broth was rich, thick, and packed with flavour, with delicious toppings that complemented it perfectly. The only “mistake” I made was ordering sushi too – not because it wasn’t good (it was amazing), but because it filled me up so much I couldn’t finish my ramen! 100% recommend this place. Thanks for the incredible food!
Roman B — Google review
My friend and I went here for dinner without knowing if a reservation was required, but they kindly seated us at the counter. We started with gyoza and octopus balls (takoyaki), and both were absolutely incredible — flavourful, perfectly cooked, and truly mouth-watering. These starters had us excited for the mains. For our main courses, we ordered chicken ramen and chicken rice dish (forgot the name). Unfortunately, they were underwhelming. While the presentation was nice, the flavours just didn’t match our expectations — they were okay, but I’ve definitely had better elsewhere. I also noticed that other tables had a sushi menu, which we never received. I could have asked, but by then I was already full from the food and drinks, so I let it pass. The place was busy, so perhaps it was an oversight. The washroom, located downstairs, was clean and well-kept. The ambience featured some Japanese elements, which I personally found soothing as a big fan of Japanese culture. Overall, I’d say the takoyaki is an absolute must-try and worth coming back for, even if the mains didn’t quite impress.

Went here for lunch. Appears to be a fusion type Japanese/Korean restaurant. Food is good. On the expensive part but portions are quite filling. Can easily spend £40-60 for 2. One of the best Takoyaki. They provide soy sauce, but no sauce plates.

Came here this evening with my family. We had a good experience. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Almost all of the food was perfect. As others have said, it’s a pleasure to find a decent Asian/Japanese restaurant so far from a major city. The matcha strawberry milkshake was a strong start. I think I’ll try and make this at home 😍 The sushi was enjoyable and a decent portion size. The udon noodles were a decent portion size and tasted good. I have some more feedback on this dish later. The Bao buns were enjoyable. The gyozas were crispy and well cooked! Couldn’t fault them. The two salads we had were also great. Would have loved to try some of the desserts but we over committed in mains! My son enjoyed his kids meal. It wouldn’t try the adult meals so it was a good save by the restaurant. My only feedback would be the following: The Udon noodles were over cook to the point they were mush. The staff took this feedback gracefully 😊 I’d also suggest dusting all the ornaments. There’s loads of nice Japanese ornaments to look at. But many, including the ones at the till need a good clean. Can’t help but notice these things when you’re trying to distract two kids.

I recently dined at Umi, a Japanese cuisine restaurant, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The ambience is elegant and soothing, creating a calm dining atmosphere, although during our visit it was a bit crowded and slightly noisy. The restaurant generally requires reservations, but we managed to get a table without one, which was a nice surprise. The food itself was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. While the pricing is on the higher side, the quality and taste make it worth the cost. The only downside we experienced was the waiting time; our order took nearly 50 minutes to arrive, which felt unusually long, especially as other guests who arrived later finished and left before us. This may have been a one-off situation, but it did affect our visit. Overall, Umi is a great choice for authentic Japanese cuisine, with room for improvement in service speed.

Absolutely gem of a place. Both take away and sit down available. Full gluten free options available including chips, fish and sauces! Really disappointing visit this time, bank holiday Monday lunch 2 fish 1 chips & curry £22 to take away. The cod was very flat & not much fish inside the batter, poor quality & chips weren't great either- see photo - we ordered & asked to stand outside until order was ready, my husband doesn't like vinegar so went back in to ask for salt only - the order was already made up so we were told sorry they couldn't rectify this. We won't return here. .

Caters to halal dietary requirements which is excellent! We had cod and the batter was so delicious, a huge portion of chips to go with it. The staff are super friendly and kind. Definitely will be coming back here again
Osman R — Google review
This maybe sacrilegious to some, as this place has been well thought of for ever, but here’s my personal take. The service was quick and the fish was tasty but it was battered with the skin on. I don’t enjoy that. I like my fish skinless. The chips were also tasty but just tiny pieces. This may be down to the type of potato being used? The other major thing that detracted from the enjoyment was that despite eating in the restaurant, I was served the food in a cardboard basket with wooden knife and fork. I get it for take away - plastic is bad and wood is biodegradable, but in the restaurant, use metal cutlery and ceramic plates, please. Oh, and that brown stuff in the photo, is mushy peas and the condiments are all in sachets. So no, sorry, I wouldn’t return and I don’t recommend this chippy. Unless you like your fish with skin on.

Me, the Mrs and three kids went for a meal, ALL the staff said hello to my kids and welcomed us in with smiles. We asked for the fish and chips to be fried in separate oil to the rest of their food (we eat Halal), and they happily accommodated. Honestly the staff made the place, everyone was so nice and genuine, they also gave lollies to the kids on the way out. Food was great too, would highly recommend

Gastropub
Pub
Restaurant
Hope & Anchor is a charming nautical-themed gastropub located near the beach and harbor in Tenby. Dating back to the early 1800s, it was once a popular haunt for fishermen seeking real ales and lively tales. The interior is adorned with maritime decor, creating a relaxed atmosphere that attracts both locals and tourists. The pub offers a great selection of Welsh ales, including the hoppy Harbwr Caldey Lollipop and malty Felinfoel Double Dragon.
Just returned from a wonderful dining experience at the Hope & Anchor in Tenby. This charming pub delivers exactly what you want from a quality Welsh coastal establishment - hearty portions of excellently prepared comfort food with friendly service that makes you feel right at home. The steak and ale pie was absolutely magnificent - a golden, flaky pastry casing filled with rich, tender chunks of meat swimming in a deeply flavored gravy. It came served with a generous portion of perfectly crisp chips and fresh tenderstem broccoli for a bit of green balance. Their fish and chips is equally impressive - a substantial piece of fish encased in light, crispy batter that shatters perfectly with each bite. The accompanying mushy peas had just the right consistency and flavor, and the chips were again cooked to perfection - crisp exterior with fluffy centers. What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything needed, offering recommendations and checking in without being intrusive. Their genuine warmth and attentiveness made the meal even more enjoyable. The rustic wooden tables and relaxed atmosphere create the perfect setting for savoring these classic pub dishes. Whether you're a local or just visiting Tenby, the Hope & Anchor is definitely worth seeking out for a satisfying meal in comfortable surroundings. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic, well-executed pub fare with a warm welcome.

We stopped in for a quick lunch. It was really crowded but it was raining outside and everyone was looking for a place to hide out till it passed. The bar is well equipped, the menu is filled, and the service is fast. What else can one ask for on a rainy Tenby day? We really enjoyed our food and even had a chance to chat with some other patrons who were also very nice. Once we finished our food we gained enough courage to brave the rain and keep exploring Tenby. If you haven’t been here, you must go. If you have been here you must go back. I know we would.

Popped in to this pub for a meal and we were not disappointed at all. Great food, beer and service. I had the steak which was excellent and for the price and the size of the portion was excellent value. My wife had the fish pie and she had lots of large pieces of tasty fish. The staff were super helpful and we had a great experience. Would definitely go back if we come back to Temby.

⭐️ Disappointing Experience – Poor Preparation and Communication I’m really disappointed with our recent visit. When I made the reservation, I specifically asked if certain dishes would be available and was assured they would be. I made it clear these dishes were the only reason for our visit. However, upon arrival, we were told that two out of the three dishes we had asked about were unavailable. This was incredibly frustrating, as the whole reason we chose this restaurant was for those particular dishes. It’s understandable that items can run out, but given that this was discussed in advance, it showed a real lack of preparation and communication. The staff were polite and apologetic but made no offer to rectify the situation, which would have gone a way to help ease the frustration! This was not the case either. To add the cherry on top, we had to ask long after finishing our meals to have the table cleared, which should be done seamlessly without a request. While the prawn and mussels main were good, the frustration of the above ruined the experience as a whole and left us feeling let down. Given £160 spend in under 2 hours, I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves their attention to detail when confirming bookings in the future. AND, rectifying situations better than a half hearted sorry.

Nestled in the heart of Tenby, the Coach & Horses stands as a charming testament to Welsh pub culture, boasting a rich history as one of the oldest pubs in the area. Lovely place! Found on the off chance and so glad we did! Friendly men running the place and the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend to everyone

We were in Tenby for 2 days and we were desperately looking for some hot Thai food and to our surprise, this place turned out to be a blessing. The Thai food was excellent and the portions were large. We got a seat immediately though we realised there were reservations and we would’ve have got a better and more comfortable seat if we had booked in advance. There were games which you could engage in while waiting for your food. We ordered green and red Thai curry which comes with complimentary steamed rice and shrimp crackers . We shared two curries between 4 of us and we were full by the end of it. Portions are good and the food was quite flavorful and delicious . Do visit this place if you fancy Thai food.

The fish was so big it had to be broken in half to fit on the plate! I’ve been visiting Tenby for nearly 50 years and had never stepped foot in this pub before, that being the case I’m now kicking myself as this is by far the best meal I have ever eaten in Tenby in all the years I have been coming here. We had a green Thai curry and cod and chips. The portions are huge and full of high quality produce; The fish was so big it had to be broken in half to fit on the plate! Unfortunately I couldn’t finish it all which was disappointing as it was so tasty. The green Thai curry was also amazing… Staff are very friendly and there is a nice warm and cosy atmosphere. Everyone looked like they were impressed with their meals.. My only regret is that I have missed going in this place for many many years. First class.

We had a lovely lunch today. We only watched something small as it was so hot outside. Quick service and lovely staff. Tasty food, will visit again.

Great meal here, throughly recommended. Thai food was super. Our tasting team enjoyed green Thai curry, paneang curry, house burger, lasagne, also garlic & pepper, chicken & cashew Thai meals. Friendly service and a relaxed pub atmosphere make this a solid venue for a family meal out.

Called in for a drink and decided to stay for lunch. We both had the steak from the lunchtime menu. It came on a sizzling hot plate and had been cooked perfectly. The peas were hot but not overcooked, and the chips were nice too. The pub is different from the others in Tenby and worth a visit. Service is fine, and eventually the person behind the bar cracked a smile, too.

What a great place :) Full of history and character. The staff were so helpful with my dietary needs. They really couldn't have done any more to add to the fantastic experience. The food portions were really generous and we were able to take a Doggy bag home with us. Will definitely come back here again :) Thank you so much for the warm welcome and all your help. ♥

Barman very rude should have left straight away, Food okay cheap frozen peas. We felt has if we were in the way the service was poor and no atmosphere it's a shame has it is a lovely old fashioned pub they definitely need to upgrade their customer service skills has this place is nothing special and plenty of other places to eat in Tenby and we won't be returning.

Visitors can enjoy the dramatic natural beauty by taking a windswept walk along the coast path or exploring the Stackpole Estate to witness Stackpole Quay and Barafundle Bay.
What a lovely pub! We ate here and the food was really good. Great service and amazing views from the extensive outdoor area. Free parking as an added bonus along the road. Beautiful setting, will definitely return when we’re in the area next.

Beer good. Served at the bar by the most miserable young lady. No hello, no thank you, no good bye, nothing! Must be having a hard life. So unusual for Pembrokeshire hospitality. Everywhere else we went today bar staff lovely. Will leave reviews for those places too to make me feel better 🙂

Stopped for a drink here after walking to Saunders foot through the tunnels. A free car park. Didn't use the rooms. It was very busy but the bar staff served quickly and didn't wait long. Lots of outside benches. Great view of the beach.

Love this pub, and what a fantastic view for it. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We arrived a little late for the lunch menu, but they kindly accommodated us, and I am so glad they did. We had the fish and chips and it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back on trip next year.

Beautiful setting and free parking and nice benches but food was just about average sadly, I had a cod burger and it comprised of toasted bread and a piece of lettuce, definitely recommend for a drinking spot and bowl of chips though, food needs a bit of added care. Quick service.
Marcus S — Google review
Regrettably the food offerings we had during our visit here were not as good as we'd hoped they should be. It was a busy day for the pub, but even making allowances for that, the food wasn't up to scratch. As for the service, waiting at bar while 2 staff members were having a personal (not working related) conversation and ignoring me is not my idea of any customer service at all. I feel really bad writing this, but it's genuinely our experience.

The Stone Crab is a popular seafood restaurant located in Saundersfoot, Wales. Situated right on the golden sandy beach at Coppet Hall, it offers a laid-back and airy atmosphere with a terrace and bar. The restaurant has received accolades such as being named AA Restaurant of the Year for Wales in 2016 and receiving 3 AA Rosettes in 2022.
Book ahead of time! Luckily I checked and managed to book a table for whilst I was in Pembrokeshire - they were very accommodating as I was booking a lunch with little notice. But thank goodness they had some availability because the food was amazing. Take friends so you can order more and try more things - it was very tricky to pick what to have but I can’t wait to go back and try more. Lovely seafood and the chips and bread accompaniments were excellent too, plus lovely drink options. Felt like my holiday had really begun with this meal!

We’ve been visiting Saundersfoot for years but had never tried The Stone Crab — until this year, when we finally managed to get a table. We were really excited. The service was good overall, though one younger waitress came across as a bit grumpy and not very friendly. Thankfully, the other waitress — the owner’s daughter — was warm, welcoming, and funny, which quickly lifted the mood. The food was fantastic: full of flavour and beautifully presented. We had the lunchtime seafood platters, and every item was fresh and delicious. The price was reasonable given the quality of the food. Overall, it’s well worth a visit if you’re after fresh, flavour-packed seafood.

We had a fantastic dinner at the Stone Crab on Friday night. Seafood heaven! We started with oysters, which were delicious, followed by the seafood sharing platter for our main - it was enormous- so generous! Mussels, red mullet, prawns, scallops and sea bream- with half a lobster and a huge portion of chips. Fish and shellfish were cooked perfectly. We had an Irish coffee and a Tia Maria coffee to finish (like dessert in a mug!). Staff were warm and welcoming and were so proud of the food! The Stone Crab is a real gem!
Samantha E — Google review
The food was superb. We had the lobster and my in-laws had the seafood platter, excellent food and presentation. I would also add there were lots of Gluten Free options. The meal was completely let down by the service. One of the servers was very abrupt, rude and all round gave the impression that they didn’t want you there. Made ordering your food feel like you were in a military exam and there was more personality in the lobster I had for lunch. Once we didn’t have to interact with them, we were able to enjoy our meal.
Matthew S — Google review
I absolutely loved our evening here. The food was tasty. The staff were so friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. The atmosphere really made the evening. It had a lovely, relaxed vibe. If I was really critical, the lobster was overcooked, and the samphire in the white wine sauce was a bit hard and twiggy in places, which made me keep checking for bones in my cod keiv. However, for context, there were no bones in my kiev. I would definitely return. We had a fabulous time.
Juanita B — Google review
We booked a table at The Stone Crab a month and a half in advance and were really looking forward to it after seeing all the photos on social media. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite match the expectation. The welcome on arrival wasn’t the friendliest, and although the starters and sharing platter and puddings were good, we were told with only 10 minutes left that if we wanted to order pudding we needed to be quick as they needed the table back as it had been rebooked. This was the first time we were told of a time limit. The waitress’s manner came across as quite abrupt which made the end of the meal feel rushed and uncomfortable. Overall, the food was good, but the service really put a damper on what could have been an enjoyable evening.
Yan K — Google review
Dinner for 4. Mother and daughter shared the seafood platter (£75), while husband and son-in-law had the Goan seafood curry (£25 each). We also had calamari and paprika prawns starters: both were exceptionally good. Outstandingly good food, beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed. Plus a few Peroni and Moretti beers and two glasses of white wine for the ladies. The total bill was just under £200, but in view of the quality and quantity of the food: £50 each was great value. Will definitely come again....... time to start saving on my pocket money.

9 of us went out for a family meal, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The Mackerel pate was a particular favourite of the group. We also ordered sharer platters, Hake off the specials board, Cod loin and even a steak which was cooked exactly to order. Make sure you leave room for dessert too as there's a good selection to choose from and they're all really yummy. Lily and her staff are very attentive, fun and friendly We had a lovely evening, thank you.

Rooms were ok but the bed wasn't quite wide enough for a couple of larger sized people. A nice shower but it was over the bath. A separate shower would have been preferable. Food was nice, and plentyful but I've never had cole slaw or salad with a curry before.

I had a deeply uncomfortable experience during my stay. While I was taking a shower, I suddenly heard my friend calling out for me to come out immediately because someone was trying to enter our room. A man claiming to be a hotel staff member had knocked on our door but without saying anything about who he was or why he was there. Less than a minute later, he attempted to open the door using a key. Thankfully, my friend managed to stop him in time and questioned his identity. He claimed there was a water leak and that he needed to come in. My friend asked him to wait until I was out of the shower. I immediately called the front desk to report someone attempting to enter our room. Shockingly, the receptionist seemed unaware of any staff being sent up. It took her 10 minutes and another call before she finally came up to check. Once she saw the man, she confirmed that he was indeed hotel staff. I expressed how unacceptable it was for someone to try to enter a guest's room without stating their purpose clearly or waiting for proper permission-especially when a guest is in the shower. The staff member simply said, "There's a leak. One minute is long enough to wait. This kind of attitude and lack of proper communication is completely unacceptable. It shows extremely poor management. If staff are sent to guest rooms for any reason, reception should be fully aware and should inform the guest clearly. No one should feel unsafe or unsure about who is trying to enter their room.

I work away. Pop in a few boozers. But I always come here for food. They do not skimp on food. But the selling point for me is. You have a choice of chips, jacket, or salad. I prefer the salad. Never had a bad meal. Always been served very quicky. (But I am normally in that neck of the woods out of season. Or coming into holiday season) All the bar staff are very friendly. I can't fault the place.

I came across a small alleyway at the top of Frog Street in Tenby. In this alleyway their were a couple of restaurants and cafés. " fuchia" was one of the cafés. It is normally open to three or four o'clock, so it caters to breakfast and lunch or just coffee. We ordered different things off the menu, but apparently, the scrambled eggs and avocado are a favourite. For myself, I ordered a "New york" bagel with bacon, gherkins, and what was described as Russian dressing. I don't know what the dressing was but it was tasty. Just enough for lunch. My friend had cream cheese and salmon in a bagel, which also looked tasty. Whilst I was sitting in this cafe with the sun beating down, it was the perfect setting. Everyone around me looked really relaxed, and I might have been in the Mediterranean. The ambience and tranquility of this area in upper frog street should be sampled. The other restaurants and bars in this area gave the same feeling - good food, coffee, and a really nice atmosphere. If you are in Tenby anytime, put this on your places to eat.

Just off Upper Frog Street in a little Mews. Outdoor and indoor seating and seated fairly quickly on a busy, sunny day. Standard range of options on menu for brunch. Coffee was decent. Food took quite a while to come. Pancakes were fluffy, full Welsh was solid but nothing special, Reuben bagel was good. Decent option for brunch in Tenby
Mike S — Google review
I was visiting Tenby with my family for the first time and this place was a recommendation by google. We went here for brunch and It was a great decision. We could easily find a table. We say outdoor as it was a sunny day but there is indoor seating as well. We ordered aperol spritz and apple and ginger warmer. For food we ordered Welsh rarebit, halloumi sandwich, smashed avocado with egg on side and apple peach cake . Everything was super delicious except avocado toast which was quite bland . I loved the Welsh rarebit and halloumi sandwich which I would definitely recommend. Overall a 10/10 experience .

The prices here are reasonable. (Tenby whilst beautiful, is a tourist trap) But the portion size is abysmal, cold drinks in a small glass, half sized meals on small plates. Definitely leaves you hungry. But what really disappoints are the seemingly two-tier portions. Locals vs tourists. Leaves a sour taste in the mouth. Not good value.

We discovered Fushcia via my Gluten Free guide app (newly gf). What a gem, so pleased we found it! I ordered the salmon and scrambled eggs on gf toast and honestly I wouldn't have known it was gf - absolutely beautiful. The owner/manager was so attentive and friendly and this was really appreciated. We had two dogs with us and we ordered a doggichino and doggy sausages. These were lovely and a great touch to keep the dogs happy. Thank you so much!

Great little place in a cute little courtyard. Seating inside and out. Customer toilet too. Friendly, chatty staff with a smile. Dog friendly, although we don't have one, child friendly too. Fabulous well cooked breakfast and worth every penny. Well presented too. Definitely go back and have already recommended to family who are heading to Tenby for a holiday.
Tiny — Google review
Dog friendly cafe with a good range of reasonably-priced food. I had a sausage sandwich which was very tasty and the dog had a sausage off the dog menu which my wife confirmed was equally tasty. They offer cooked breakfast until midday, or a vegan option, plus any other time are sandwiches, bagels, and a good selection of cake. The latte I had was great, and my wife really enjoyed her Welsh rarebit with onion marmalade. They also have a selection of alcohol to warm you up. The service was fast and friendly. The only downside for them is limited seating inside, maybe 7-8 tables. There are some extra tables outside but we went during heavy rain so no one, understandably, was out there. I’d recommend a visit.

Lovely food at good prices. We were looking for somewhere to eat on a busy summer day. We chose The Lounge as we wanted somewhere central to sit down and eat, without paying too much or having a large pub meal. We were so glad we chose here. The portions were big and the food was gorgeous. My family had huge brie and bacon baguettes with cranberry sauce and I had a Welsh Rarebit that was so tasty, all off the simple menu. They also had a specials board. Thoroughly recommended.

Pleasant to see a lot of gluten free options: the menu states all of the items can be made gluten free. The gluten free scone, which came with clotted cream and strawberry jam, was good, and so was the carrot cake.

This is where we usually eat lunch when visiting Tenby. There is a good choice of gluten free food. The metal trays however are incredibly annoying to eat out of and are really scratched. Putting paper on the bottom of the tray doesn’t really work! Just one thing… and I do normally love the food there… the chicken and pesto you have on offer at the moment might have just a touch too much pesto? It’s more pesto than chicken and cheese! X

Having eaten breakfast here on many occasions over the last few years (in both Lounge 1 & 2) we decided to return yesterday during a day in Tenby. I'm not sure what's changed but the breakfast were awful. There were no requests, scrambled egg or nothing and just shy of £10. I understand these places are trying to stand out and be Instagram worthy but the metal tray? absolutely horrendous to eat from, the bottom would push down when you were cutting and then POP back up with a lovely metal clang and bounce. The food itself was unbelievably dry, the only hope it was beans and they arrived in the smallest pot possible. I'm not somebody who leaves reviews usually but whoever runs this cafe at the moment needs to be told. I've already noticed I'm not the first raise these issues. The greeting and service was ok although you are made to stand behind a barrier with a fairly firm notice ensuring you wait to be seated and I guess they're only doing what they've been told in regards to changing items or requesting of a fired egg. Overall a very disappointing visit

The staff were very patient and friendly and didn’t make me feel bad when I had questions and was being indecisive on what I’ve cream to get. They had so many options that looked great and were clearly popular including some dairy free options. They seem to take allergies and intolerances seriously and are very accommodating It also seemed to be one of the few places we could find where you could actually sit down and grab a coffee, a very nice & big coffee!

I paid £4 for a double tub and got this tiny portion pictured. Definitely not a double tub size portion, the tiniest scoops I’ve ever seen! It’s a single scoop’s worth at best. The ice cream was ok, a bit icy, definitely not worth £4 for this tiny portion. Staff also not super friendly or welcoming and overall it just wasn’t a nice visit.

We last visited Cadwaladers five years ago on our last visit to Tenby. This time we had two more children in tow and had to take them to try the awesome ice cream sundaes! Dissapointing, was really looking forward to Cadwaladers, having been to other branches on our last visit to Wales. Obviously not enough or untrained staff. Table not clean, menus dirty. It was a hot day but it was absolutely freezing inside, A/C is great, but there's a limit... Some of us ordered paninis, some ice creams. The ice creams took ages, the others had finished their food a while before they arrived. Knickerbocker Glory looked good, sadly didn't taste as good.

Take away only. Great bread and cakes. They have tiny mini version a few doors up but in all honesty it’s too small with only a few seats. Would be better off losing this one and opening one with more seating elsewhere in Tenby. If I was sat inside I’m sure I would spend more as the food was very good

Loafley never disappoints. The fresh bread is amazing, as is the selection of cakes, savory snacks and treats. I even purchased some very unique greeting cards whilst I was there. Finally, if their sausage rolls are not the best in the UK, then I'll eat my shorts! Cheaper national chain bakeries are available, but I'd rather pay a bit more for something much tastier.

Park Road Fish & Chip Shop in Tenby is a local favorite, known for its traditional fish and chips featuring options like haddock with crispy batter and a delicious curry sauce. The laid-back ambiance adds to the charm of this eatery. While there might be a wait due to everything being cooked fresh, the quality makes it worth it. Located on Park Road near the Multi Story Carpark, this spot is open from midday until late most days.

The chips were probably the best we had during our stay and the prices and options are better than most of the other chippies. I was going to give because I liked the food however it's also a 3 star hygiene rating - they should work on that!! Especially considering inconsistent reviews where it sounds like these standards are not always good enough. I don't eat much fish so can't comment on the fish.

Absolutely one of the worst places you could ever have fish and chips, £40 for 2 cod and chips, 2 cans of drinks and 2 curry sauce. The fish and batter had barely any taste and came out of the freezer, the "chinese" curry sauce was like water and the ketchup they have in the bottle is barley ketchup, it tasted like nothing but vinegar. The only acceptable part of the meal was the can of coke zero. The service was also non existant, 3 indians who seemed annoyed having to serve you.

If I had one complaint about the food here would be their portions are MASSIVE. Lovely fish and chips with mushy peas. Went in they are pet friendly allowed us to take our well behaved dog in. If I was going to give a small negative would be that they don't use Yorkshire teabags. But us English are fussy about our cup of tea a definitely 10 / 10. Well worth the money if there's a queue to get in wait and seeing the queue proves it a top notch place

Had 2x cod and 2x regular chips. All freshly cooked. Beautifully presented in a takeaway box. However, the batter on the underside of the fish was undercooked, so it was rather gloopy. The size of the fish was good as was the portion size of the chips. Would definitely recommend. Total cost of bill was £20.50 👌

Absolutely one of the worst F&C shops in the U.K. The supposedly Haddock was two smallish fillets layered to look as one, batter cooked outside soggy and spongy on inside. No way was Haddock,I'm 68 come from Scarborough,Been a fisherman all my life,so I know what I am talking about. Also of you want F&C's come Scarborough. Although there were 5 serving, service was slow, also lacking personality. Will definitely not recommend to anyone.

I had fish and chips for 6 (take away). All expectations succeeded. Authentic place and flavours. Even in a busy day 100% effective. Very surprised the guy packaging, never stopped or waited for more chips (or fish) to come! Reliable delivery. No risk here for a family meal.

Nestled in the charming coastal town of Tenby, The Mooring Restaurant & Cafe is a delightful spot that celebrates the essence of local cuisine. With a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients, this family-run establishment crafts simple yet delectable dishes that highlight the region's bounty. Diners can indulge in specialties like locally caught crab and wild garlic pesto or savor succulent duck breast paired with savoy cabbage and rich port sauce.
Called in for breakfast and to get out of the wind and rain! Very relaxing, lovely decor, and welcoming staff. Sandwiches were excellent with local produce and artisan granary bread. Seriously considering another visit for the cakes and possibly an evening meal too.

Nice little spot for brunch or lunch. Staff are super friendly with great service to match. Menu has a good range and they also have a kids menu. Dog friendly venue too! Toasties are worth a mention 👌

Gorgeous little café! We nipped in twice for tea and scones (suitable for nut allergy sufferers) and were not disappointed! It is small and often full so book when you can!
Hayley T — Google review
Lovely time, lovely coffee - not offered a menu so a bit confused about what was being served, other than 3 options on the blackboard, so we just had coffee. Family friendly.
