What a unique and fun experience. No frills authentic tacos. Ox tail, tuna, tofu, and more are on this vast menu. It’s not your typical menu you’d see in America so know your family and the menu before going. The service was impeccable with a server literally watching close by to make sure we didn’t need a thing. Excellent with gluten free and understood how to navigate the menu with lots of choices. Get a reservation for 4/5 on a Thursday then go the art walk after just steps away. Great prices as well. It’s hot inside and out in the summer so just know that it’s not an air conditioned place but you get your food so quickly it’s not a problem.

Great spot for some delicious tacos and live music. The band starts to play at 7pm and the music is great. Staff is always on point. Marlene at the bar is awesome, very friendly and professional. Taco Tuesdays are the best!!! There's a lot more than just tacos though so check them out.

They had wonderful live music when we were dining for dinner. We got lucky and snagged seats at the bar. The margaritas and tacos are delicious! Our server was fantastic and easily accommodated all my dietary restrictions.

From the outside it doesn't look like much but once you pass through the door it's a really cool vibe! Authentic food, amazing atmosphere and terrific staff. They also have live music. We enjoyed our time there and will be back next time we visit! Be sure to make a reservation and don't miss out!

“Fancy” tacos were how it was described by many others who told me about this place, and I agree. If craft tacos were a thing, this place would be the place that sells it. The service was on point and the live music gave it a perfect ambience. Make sure to make reservations if you don’t come early.

Don't get me wrong, the food is good, creative, and tasty. The drinks are inventive (but over priced for a tourist budget). Combined with being often too full requiring a reservation, uncomfortable seats at the bar, being too busy, and loud... We are glad we gave it a try but it was just not our spot. There are other taco spots if what you're after is to try the local taco flair.

During our three-week stay, my wife, niece, and I enjoyed four dinners and one lunch at La Lupita Taco & Mezcal — and every visit was exceptional. The food, atmosphere, and service are truly top-notch, making it one of our favorite spots in town. While I wish I had caught everyone’s names, every member of the team was friendly, professional, and attentive. We were fortunate to have Ivan on most of our visits — he’s not only incredibly attentive but also personable and has a genuine way of making guests feel welcomed and cared for. If you’re visiting San José del Cabo, La Lupita is a must — whether for a casual lunch or a lively dinner, you’ll leave already planning your next visit.

Getting there is messy but man is it worth the bumpy ride up the hill! We had dinner with friends at this beautiful restaurant and had an amazing experience. As you stroll past treehouses along the beautifully lit sidewalk, there was subtle incense lining the pathway to prepare your senses for the great food. We started with the Cheddar Biscuits and Crispy Rice Bites and I highly recommend both. Then we did the NY Prime and Short Ribs for dinner and were not disappointed. The vibe is very jungle meets luxury but do know there is no seating in AC, so if visiting during a warm month, it was quite hot. The fans did help but we would have stayed and had more cocktails if it had been cooler. Our servers, Andre and Valentin never let our drinks go dry and were extremely attentive. My only recommendation would be the music. The vibe would feel more upscale without the disco music. Maybe more of a soothing spa mix? But overall, highly recommend this lovely establishment.

We had high hopes for Acre based on reviews and a family recommendation, and the setting truly lived up to the hype. The walk to the restaurant and the space itself were stunning. Our team of waiters introduced themselves warmly, and we genuinely thought we were in for a fantastic night. Unfortunately, the service quickly fell apart. Despite having plenty of staff, our waiters disappeared after taking our order. We never received the second round of cocktails we ordered and only saw our servers again when it was time to ask for the check. They did remove the missing drinks from the tab after requesting, and a last-minute anniversary gesture was thoughtful, but by then the experience was already soured. The food was good, the cocktails were just okay, but the service was the worst we experienced on our entire trip. Considering the price point and the nearby competition like Flora Farms, I’m not sure we’d return.

We just stay there with family for 5 days. Service was excellent, and we enjoyed the animals on property, especially the kitties. The family pool was empty, which was great. Also the gym was quite adequate. I would prefer to be on the ocean next time as being in the jungle was tough, as I got eaten alive by mosquitoes. We stayed in a villa which was nice, although our rooms upstairs and bathrooms stayed pretty hot, not sure the AC was adequate enough, My only bad experience was going to the main restaurant and asking if they had nachos, and she looked at me like I was crazy.. I was looking forward to a great Mexican meal. So I made some nachos in my villa.

Went for lunch. Cocktails were good, but my girlfriend ordered a seasonal drink for $25 USD and the glass was filled with a giant stick of butter-like ice cube so it was gone in about three sips (see photo of half melted ice cube). We ordered three entrees and three starters. The bartender forgot two of our three entrees, and when we reminded her, she brought steak tacos instead of shrimp tacos. Also, there were flies everywhere. They gave the only other table that was there a couple of the fly-repellent fans, but we were not offered any and got attacked throughout our meal. Not my favorite experience with so many wonderful places to go in San Jose del Cabo. We are neighbors to Acre but not sure if we’ll be back.

My wife and I go to Cabo often but we had never heard of Acre. We live in San Miguel de Allende, and a friend of ours from home recommended it. It is a beautiful restaurant located in lush, tropical like gardens. It really was quite stunning walking up the path to this beautiful jungle oasis. The service was phenomenal from the moment we arrived. Our server provided several suggestions, checked on us frequently throughout the meal, and had a kind and friendly attitude. The menu was a little overwhelming. There were just too many amazing choices. We ordered the cheese biscuits (to die for) and the crispy rice bites (served with sashimi grade tuna and cavier) as appetizers. They were both incredible. We decided to share the grilled Caesar salad after we saw people eating it at a nearby table. It was huge and more than enough for two to share. The dressing was superb. For our main course we shared the branzino fish filet, which was accompanied by a potato puree, a small side salad, and served with a cold chili flake seasoning. It was a delicious dish and was also accompanied by fresh, homemade tortillas so we could enjoy our dinner as fish tacos. For dessert we were at at impasse. Even though we were already full, we each wanted a different dessert, so we had to suffer and order two desserts. I had the chocolate tres leches (fantastic) and my wife enjoyed the strawberries and cream. We probably should have shared one dessert, but we forced ourselves to eat the whole thing. This was an excellent dining experience. There were two things that prevented it from being perfect. They were both beyond the control of management and staff. The first was that when our fish arrived, we were literally overwhelmed with flies. The staff had put out a mini hibachi with rosemary and lemon which is supposed to keep critters away, but these flies merely laughed as they descended on our meal. The staff then brought out one of those small fans, but unfortunately I think the flies liked being cooled off. This was not the restaurant's fault, but it did take away from the enjoyment of an otherwise magnificent meal. The other issue was that it was quite warm. The restaurant had misting fans, but Cabo in September can be brutal. We will definitely be back to Acre (we will be back in November), but we will not come back to Cabo again in September.

My gf loved this experience. The drive up was really fun too. We rented jeep and drove up racing a motocross bike. Felt like a scene out of mission impossible! The food was great and grounds were nice too. The staff were friendly and attentive. Glad I checked the Michelin guide and found this gem because it’s off the beaten path

Disappointed. After reading all the positive reviews, I was so excited for my dinner at Acre. I have been to lots of Michelin-recognized restaurants around the world, so I certainly had high expectations. And the price point really increased those expectations. Plus, if you are staying in Cabo San Lucas, this is a major drive to get to the location, a real commitment. The erratic service and undercooked food were a constant theme throughout the visit. The highlight of the whole experience was the setting. It was a magical, warmly-lit tree house vibe, just as the description suggests. Honestly, if you decide to go, just go for a drink and enjoy the vibe. Nothing else is worth your time or money. When we sat down, we were swarmed by wait staff. They came by minute by minute to take our drink order without even giving us the chance to review the menu and take in the ambiance. And the pacing of dish delivery was very off. They brought all the appetizers and salad at once. After we ordered, the wait staff was hardly to be seen again, of course, until it was time to pay. Then the food...the cheddar biscuits were undercooked. The whipped honey-infused butter was a delight; however, a waiter tried to take it away before we were finished. The tuna crudo was the highlight of the evening - melt in your mouth. The beet salad was ok, but over-complicated. The main dishes had some major flaws. We added shrimp to the pasta, and it was severely overcooked. We brought it up to every waiter we had, and nothing was done. The sauce didn't really have that earthy umami flavor truffles usually provide, and there was no citrus as described to speak of. The short rib was good, but the mashed potatoes were cold, and the greens were not cooked or even wilted. The rainbow carrots were so undercooked that we could have broken a tooth, and the brussels sprouts were beyond overcomplicated. You couldn't even taste the actual vegetable. Again, we mentioned this to the waiter, and no response. So we paid and left. I would never go there again. Maybe they were having an off night, but with this many egregious errors in service and preparation, I wonder if the only reason Michilen recognized them is because they have a big organic garden. Or perhaps they were paid off. Who knows. I would save your money and go somewhere else.

We will definitely be back They have a great souvenir shop that is similar in price to neighboring shops but they had more to choose from in summer of the glass items

We happened upon this unassuming place on a whim, and it was AWESOME! We had the best ceviche de pescado (I tried ceviche at a couple other places), and uniquely delicious tacos! Everything was undeniably fresh, the service was top notch, and we even had live entertainment! These talented musicians were wonderful, and funny lol. Highly recommend Jazmin’s and we will be back FOR SURE. Don’t leave this country without trying their lechón, you will not regret it! To Gabriel our server, thank you for taking the time to explain the methods of cooking certain dishes. I’m always interested in the food and culture wherever we stay and you added that to our experience tonight. It was beyond our expectations, wonderful!

Great experience! The drink is legit (you can choose from diff tequila and mezcal) and the food is so good. I enjoy the grilled red snapper! There are also live performances! So prep some cash tips. This restaurant is not cheap so expecting a drink cost $15-20 each and at least $50 per person for food if you want to have appetizers and main courses .

Landed in Cabo and went here for dinner. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was fantastic. The food portions are huge and delicious. 100% recommend and would come back.

My family and I ate here on Monday. The food and service is fantastic so we went there Tuesday for our last meal in town. We recommend the Carnitas gorditas, ceviche de pescado and peach salad with pistachio. On Wednesday the street was closed to cars so I took this picture in front of the restaurant.

Loved it at Jasmin’s! Great atmosphere, great service and great food! As an Aussie it’s a tad bit pricey but that’s everywhere nowadays, if you’re looking for good drinks and food in San Lucas this is perfect!! Filipe was a great help too!

Disappointed….wanted to get a good Mexican breakfast, but the food was average at best…saw reviews and it got good reviews, but a Mexican restaurant you think would have good chips and salsa, but the chips were old and mostly all broken, stale and not salted, one out of four salsas we ok…it took 15 minutes just to get chips and salsa…eggs were ok…waiter took our credit card and didn’t see him for 15 minutes. It was father day and the place was busy but it was strange….we should have tried another place off the tourist area Adelitas looked more authentic, drinks were ok and overpriced..

We wanted to get some beer and snacks. The menu prices didn’t match what we had seen beforehand - much higher now - so we just ordered a couple of pints. The drinks were not bad, not spectacular. It took quite awhile to get attention so we could get our bill. Very average.

Good beer. Maybe my best fish and chips so far in Baja, but from my best ever. Fish was not cod, but it was fresh and tasty. We got a flight so we could try various beers, before deciding on a favorite. I would go back!

The waitress, Paula was very attentive and friendly. The location is perfectly located in the art district. We enjoyed their mead and it had a crisp refreshing slightly sweet flavor. Will have to go back to try their other beers!

Great beer selection! Definitely focus towards American tourists, but the bartenders are very nice. They have several locations in the Cabo San Lucas area. The menu is great and the service was pleasant.

Visited Baja Brewing while in Cabo and had a great time catching up with friends over a few drinks. The vibe was laid-back and fun, and the service was excellent—friendly and quick. I tried an espresso martini and it was spot-on, smooth and perfectly balanced. It’s a great spot to unwind and enjoy good drinks and company. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in town!

Lovely brewery, ordered a flight (generous number of 6 beer 🍺) the beers were all lovely. My favourite was the stout. If you are beer lover, this is a must stop. Also need to say that the staff were amazing

Just wow! We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate my birthday. First of all, I’d never experienced such level of personalized attention and genuine great service. Everyone in the staff went above and beyond to ensure our evening was perfect. Creative cocktails, exquisite food and the highest level of service. The atmosphere is unparalleled with the open patio and live music, that sang me happy birthday, truly spectacular. Don Sanchez delivers a memorable dining experience in San Jose del Cabo. One of the mandatory, go to, required restaurants when visiting Cabo! Tableside caesar salad is one of the best ever. All of the entrees are excellent! The service is exceptional. This facility is deserving of their 5 star status! Arturo and Rene run a wonderful show!

a rich and memorable contemporary mexican culinary experience. the food was packed with flavors and the presentation was like artworks. the surf and turf taco was very flavored. the mushroom taco - personally i did not like the texture and the accompanying alcohol (tasted like chinese medicine). the entrees were both good! the black shrimp was perfectly smoky and the rice was just one of the best rices i’ve had! the fish was flavorless and dry but the avocado risotto was very good although a bit too salted. the churro was very heavy with the caramel and chocolate sauces in a good way. lastly, the waiters boxed us into a 18% or 20% tip when they could have asked “how much would you like to tip”. it felt like a dishonest practice and gave us a moment of yuck. also the music choice by the live performer / restaurant was pretty bad. the experience could have been better with mexican songs instead of trashy / generic american pop.

I had the pleasure of dining at Tamarindos several times during my recent trip to Cabo, and I can wholeheartedly say it's a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Tamarindos is truly a hidden gem. From the moment you arrive, the setting feels magical! Nestled in a lush farm with mountain and ocean views, the atmosphere is peaceful, open-air, and full of charm. The farm-to-table concept is executed perfectly. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. What really stood out was meeting the owner, Enrique. His vision for what this place is becoming is absolutely beautiful… you can feel the passion in every corner of the property. I brought my mom here, who’s a chef, a total health nut, and deeply into natural medicine AND she was genuinely impressed (which is not easy to do). Watching her light up during the experience made it even more special. The cocktails were creative and well-balanced, and the service was top-notch… warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. We also loved walking around the garden before our meal … such a unique and grounding experience. We didn’t get to come during sunset, but I have heard that it’s unforgettable. Whether you're celebrating something special or just want an incredible meal in Cabo, Tamarindos is a must.

A few years ago I had a great dinner here as part of a large wedding party. The food and service was excellent. Totally farm to table and fresh!!! Today a friend and myslef did a cooking class with chef Erwin and omg it was amazing!!!! Erwin is a master chef and we prepared a meal together of sea bass, shrimp, fresh tortillas and mango mousse that was one of the best meals I ever had. The whole experience was 4 really interesting hours that included making fresh sauces, fresh green salsa, fresh tortillas and some kind of shrimp appetizer that was out of this world!! On top of this we enjoyed fresh drinks with farm ingredients and fresh coffee roasted right there. The setting was beautiful in a stone brick farmhouse overlooking the property/ farm that was set high up with a great beeezs so not too hot. All in All an amazing experience and I recommend to all for solos, groups, couples etc… With Chef Erwin’s charm, skill and delicious food you will learn a lot and have an experience and meal of your life!!! His team that helps too we’re all so ni w and attentive too….Chef Erwin, his team, the kitchens, the propert and of course the food will all make for an incredible Cabo / Life experience that will exceed any expectations you have. Go and enjoy ASAP!!!!

My wife and I did a cooking class with Erwin, and luckily we ended up being the only booking at that time so it was a private class. We learned how to make tamales, salsa macha, shrimp flambé and churros. It was an amazing experience and Erwin was an amazing host and teacher. The experience was authentic, personal, and most of all enjoyable. Would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a more authentic Mexican experience!

Don’t let the drive here scare you! Yea the roads is gravel and feels like you are driving to no where, But trust me it’s worth it. Once you get to the restaurant you will be amazed at how beautiful this place is. The layout and ambiance is breath taking. It’s farm to table concept and the restaurant is on a farm. You can walk around and check the gorgeous venue. Bar is set outside and you can sit here and enjoy a variety of cocktails. Staff are amazing and super helpful from the minute you walk in. Every single person has a smile and eagerness to assist. They cater for nut allergies which is always a win for us. Inside the restaurant is gorgeous the layout and decor gives you a magical vibe. Omg now let’s talk food! Lamb came with blue tortillas which was juicy and flavorful, catch of the day, fish was on a bed of hummus, never had this combo before and it did not disappoint. Appetizer we had blue fin sashimi with spicy tortilla this was bomb!!! It was on a bed of salad with ponzu sauce 🤤 nothing here disappointed. We were too full for dessert but the options a sounded delicious. We will be back for sure for great service and yummy food.

Tamarindo cooking class was an experience. Really nice farm to table restaurant. Started the experience with Alejandro making is a nice tequila drink and sharing the history of the farm. Then the head engineer showed us around the farm. Cooking class was great, we made a 4 course meal. Diego was patient, fun and very knowledgeable. We had a blast! Service was great. Much appreciated you guys!!

Wow, what a beautiful place this is! I can't say enough about how great our experience was. We had the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding here and everything was absolutely perfect! Mariana worked with me to make sure every little detail was just right. The food was incredible and the service was fabulous. Thank you for helping to make this night unforgettable!

If you’re in Cabo and craving Italian, I highly recommend this spot. We had the chicken Parmesan with a side of mushrooms and their rosemary bread — everything was absolutely delicious. We also shared a bottle of rosé, which was the perfect touch. Bonus: the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.

Came here for lunch with my family and had a great time. The service was fast and awesome, all the food was very delicious!! Pizzas are a perfect size for 2 people to share and are delicious, the pasta serving size was big/generous, everything was very tasty, no complaints! I highly recommend to come and eat here!

La Dolce is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Cabo! Every dish is bursting with authentic flavors, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The pasta is perfectly cooked, the sauces are rich and flavorful, and the pizzas are amazing. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff makes you feel like family. Whether it’s a date night or a casual dinner, La Dolce never disappoints. If you’re craving Italian in Cabo, this is the place to go!

Warm welcome and very attentive staff. The menu has a wide variety of classic Italian dishes, anti-pasto, pastas, salads, etc. The prices are fair considering that the restaurant is located in the center of a very touristic place. The portions of the dishes are enough for one person. Consider looking at the list of drinks and wines offered, it is worth it. If you come by car, the restaurant has its own parking lot. And for hot weather the place has air conditioning.

Yum-Yum-Yum. Just what I needed. We were staying at the Royal Solaris all inclusive resort and the food was just plain bad. As you can imagine we were craving delicious food for a few days up until we came across this La Dolce restaurant in San Jose del Cabo. There were seven of us and all dishes were absolutely delicious. If you want great Italian cuisine, you won’t be disappointed with this place. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They made fantastic recommendations and accommodated our dining needs. The next time I visit Cabo San Lucas I will definitely pay them a visit again.

Food is excelelnt. I had the caprese dalad that tasted like the tomatoes and basil were just picked. The seafood pasta was terrific and came on a foil pouch that was opened at the table. The flan was also very good.

Excellent Italian food. Pizza was delicious Lasaña was oh my god soo good and delicious. Ambient it's perfect for a nice family or romantic dinner.

We went here for breakfast. To start had a Limon macaroon and a chocolate croissant. These were both great. Had the speciality croissant with ham and eggs and mozzarella cheese and the melda crepe. The croissant was great the crepe was just drenched in chocolate syrup and the ice cream was not great compared to other French vanilla I have had. The place had a great atmosphere and the staff were wonderful! Cool that you can see into their kitchen also.

One of my fav places to come eat while in Cabo ! I recommend this place 100% ! They have delicious pastries and baked goods and they have a delicious breakfast selection, but they also have a lunch and dinner menu ! I would definitely go back to try more menu items ! Their service was wonderful and made me feel welcomed ! I’d definitely go again !

Wow. We will be coming back. My husband and I came here for breakfast, but they are also open for lunch and dinner. So many pastries to choose from too. Jorge was our waiter and was outstanding. Highly recommend this spot.

Disappointing experience, but great pastries, my recommendation would be to get them to go. Our breakfast was around 200 pesos for very unremarkable eggs and cold baguette. Nothing you would expect from a French bakery. The pastries are great and the coffee is good as well, the Chai was delicious. The bathrooms are super dirty, ugly, broken doors and the cleaning lady banged on my door while I was in the stall. I've been to bus stations with better bathrooms.

Stopped for a breakfast and was pleasantly surprised! The food was well cooked and the portions were the right size. They have a good mix of Mexican and American styled breakfasts all cooked with their own twist.

We had a great evening meal after walking thru the art fare and Christmas festival Thursday evening. We ordered a few classic dishes such as French onion soup and Mexican pizza. The service was fast, friendly and helpful. The staff are courteous and very customer friendly. The food was excellent and served hot.

Ambiance, quite cozy. This restaurant has a lot of character. The food was good. I had French toast, eggs, and bacon. My friend had a crepe filled with vegetables. The food is cooked in a corner of the restaurant which resembles a bar but instead food was being cooked. Once you finish your breakfast you can get a tasty treat from their bakery to go. I loved this restaurant so much! You have to try it!! The food is amazing—my boyfriend said the steak is unbeatable. I loved the fresh French fries, salads, and empanadas. The server was friendly, patient, and professional. But the real standout is the owner: Mate the cat! Lol, they even have a portrait of him in a mural at the back of the restaurant. The ambiance and atmosphere are fantastic, creating a great vibe. This is a must-stop on your trip to San Jose!

Barrio is the place to dine on hearty flavors of Argentina in a romantic outdoor setting. I recommend the pizzas for a break of Mexican food and the hamburger was incredible too! The glasses of wine were also very generous.

AMAZING, HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING! Our family of 5 had the best meal on our whole trip! Empanadas were delicious, Get the queso fundido! We were full by the time our main dishes came, we took them home and ate them the next day, still delicious! Thank you for giving is a piece of Argentina in Cabo! We will be back!

This intimate outdoor eatery oozes quaint old world charm. Definitely lives up to its billing as a hidden neighborhood gem. The sirloin steak was fantastic! A great way to experience the real San Jose, not the curated resort version of it. Get reservations, this place is small and that's likely the only way to get in/seated.

Charming patio seating, I imagine they close when it rains. The food is OK, no complaints at all. I because of the name I was expecting a local Argentine parrilla but it's a gringo grill. Tourist on a date night 👍 perfect spot. The saxophone player was rocking some sultry smooth jazz.

What an amazing dinner! The place is not pretentious but the food it too notch. The complimentary chimi sauces did it. Mild and hot. Had the rib-eye med rare with Rockford blue cheese sauce on the side with chorizo and salad to start. Finished with homemade mint basil ice cream. Every bite was incredible! Wish I could go back sooner. Until next time!

Consistently good food. Less local and more tourists. The Agua de coco or mango are super yum. I love the nachos with beef and have ordered on 2-3 occasions. Service is good. Sometimes, it's a little too loud. They take credit cards.

Food was great, just tried the breakfast Jalapeño sandwich and fiancée tried the banana french toast. Both were very good so no complaints there. The atmosphere was quiet when we went which was relaxing. All in all the multi-slide door opening gives the restaurant a nice vibe along with choice of music.

Let me start by saying that I am not a fish person. But I took a chance and ordered the La Marea fish with rice and steamed vegetables. Wow! The seasoning and the quality of the fillet were amazing. We also ordered the nachos, which were excellent. The restaurant is in a shopping mall - so you do not get the ocean view. But the ambience is upscale nice, and the prices were reasonable.

The Seafood dish is really mediocre here. We ordered Seafood Soup, fish taco, and Catch of the day. The grilled fish is really tough and it's all the same type of fish in the soup and the taco. So I didn't see the point of getting "Catch of the day". You don't get your bang for the buck. Soup is alright, pretty light tomato base and there were plenty of seafood in it. I wish there was more soup than seafood. Fish taco is not as good as the ones I had in other restaurants. If I were the chef, I would not use this kind of fish for all dishes. The staff took good health precautions. The ambiance was good but that was about it. Would not recommend or return. 这家的鱼很难吃，不值这个价格，不会再来光顾。

Everything was delicious: aguachiles (super-spicy); seared tuna; fried shrimp. Great selection of wines and beers. And the service was superb: Adalberto, our waiter made our several dinners here special.

Went for a late breakfast and oh man it did not disappoint. Amazing service and even better food. We wanted savory BUT we had to try the banana bread French toast. Boy did it not disappoint, so delicious. It wasn't overly sweet. Such a great little spot and beautiful location.

I can not say enough amazing things about the establishment! Just walking in the decor and ambiance is amazing! As has the smoked salmon for an appetizer! They have amazing soy based sauces! For dinner we had the octopus and tuna! The presentation they put into there meals alone let’s you know they put a lot of effort into there meals. And the prices are a steal!

We have been coming here twice a week for like 5 years, this location is always the worst. The location in Cabo San Lucas is always amazing, the food, the service and the ambiance is SPECTACULAR. This location in San Jose lacks all of that unfortunately, as soon as we walked in no one seated or greeted us. The quantity of sashimi they give u is a lot less here and the quality is always poor. The menu also seems like it’s outdated compared to the one in San Lucas. I even asked the waitress if it’s the same owner of the location in San Lucas. Go to the location in San Lucas!!!! This one lacks everything that makes koi a good experience. The chef in San Lucas has 10/10 skills

OK, five stars all the way. Just because they didn’t speak English. There’s no reason to take away a star. They were very attentive, the food fresh and the serving sizes were more than adequate. Definitely coming back. I had the explosion roll and the sashimi and the edamame. All excellent.

I ordered a Daniel Roll, it was just ok, a little too salty, portions are small. Not bad but not my favorite, I won’t be back anytime soon.

Highly recommend this place! We’re from Vancouver, Canada and there’s lot of good sushi along the coast, this is truly on par if not better than some of the higher-end restaurants in van. I’m not a fan of spice in food, but I highly recommend asking for the Charlie Roll, and dip in the teriyaki ginger sauce.

They have Sapporo - a must for any Sushi restaurant. Food is excellent, my recommendation crunchy rolls, tuna sashimi and gyozas. Was there on Tuesday… service a little slow..

They had some unique rolls here, but the mamichula was my favorite by far. Large house saki about $10 usd a bottle. Our whole table ordered about 8 rolls so it quickly added up. All the fish was fresh however, with the constant opening and closing of the door, flies and mosquitos crept in. I too, was on the menu.

Phenomenal ambience, service and food. Really special place. If you get a chance to visit, be sure to walk around the grounds. There is a separate bar and fireside seating area, cool restrooms, and some farm animals. Update: We went back a second time to share with our extended family of ten and celebrate birthdays. They had rented out the grounds for a reality TV show filming. No one mentioned this when we made the reservation. It was very loud and a completely different atmosphere. The hostess and head bartender were both apologetic. Our server seemed quite distracted, which was a complete contrast from the attentiveness of our prior server. And my mom's expensive cowboy steak was grisly and nearly inedible. Since our server didn't ask how everything was, and food came out slowly, and also my mother being who she is, she just did her best to get through it. We decided to celebrate birthdays on another night. Once the filming supplies, the restaurant returned to being its magical self and I felt like we had leveled up again. I really want this restaurant to make it! We will be back in spite of this bump.

Dog-friendly dining debauchery. Glad we went. The afternoon of sun took me off the playing field. They swooped everything up. Packed it and golf carted us to the Uber pick up spot. Enjoyed our meal at our domicile…. With ice cold face packs, aloe and aspercreme. The atmosphere here reminded me of some of the best eateries in Tulum. Took me by surprise how similar, and being in las animas. This establishment is a treat. This is a five star eatery. Thank you for hosting us. Next visit will be for brunch.

Had a really nice experience at Semillon. Really good food including lamb, bone marrow and these empanadas. The staff was excellent and attentive (and gave us mosquito repellent!). The grounds and landscaping are beautiful, but be forewarned it can be a little tough to see at night walking around. The bathroom design is also amazing.

Incredible ambiance and wonderful service. California prices. I’ve only had Sunday brunch and cocktails before dinner at Acre, so I’d like to go back for a typical evening menu. $50 USD per person for a Mexican buffet is really high, but you’re paying for the ambiance here. Live music at brunch but not when we were here for drinks on a Wednesday night. The bar is stunning. So are the bathrooms! Expensive, delicious cocktails. A designer’s paradise.

Not sure if I am reviewing the same location, but since it’s likely owned by the same people, wanted to say this review is for the San Jose Del Cabo restaurant. Everything about this restaurant was great. We came close to closing time on a Sunday so it was pretty dead, but I can see how busy and lively this place can be on a Friday or Saturday night. Service was great, the food was really good, and drinks tasty. The only thing I’d say is check your bill. They didn’t overcharge us but since I had an idea of what the bill would be in USD, I was shocked to see it was about $20 USD more. After talking to the waitress, she explained that paying in pesos is cheaper at the current 20 pesos per dollar rate. If you pay with a credit card, their exchange is 15 pesos per dollar. That said, we had enough to pay in pesos and took them up on that offer. You may not care but $20 USD is three drinks in Cabo. I had no problem with them determining the exchange rate as it is their restaurant, but I think it should be mentioned or there should be a sign, as most places do offer that info upon arrival. Would definitely return!

The tacos were great! I am a big fan of the pork tacos. The pork tacos had a little bit of pico, pork, and a small slice of pineapple. That pineapple slice sweetened them up just a little bit, and the flavor was amazing. They served complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa verde was delicious and easily my favorite! They have a long list of alcoholic beverages and “mocktails” for kids or adults looking for an alternative. They had live music and it was great, but the volume was a bit too loud for me. I’m not older in age, nor do I have sensitive ears, but we were seated right next to a speaker. The restaurant has two floors- one main floor where the kitchen and bathrooms are, and an upstair floor for more seating options. The inside is colorful and vibrant, full of cultural significance. I would definitely go back and would recommend this restaurant to a friend. Prices were very reasonable!

This place has been recommended to me several time both a couple different people - and I now know why. Nice place (under a large palapa) and the night we stopped in they had a singer starting at 7pm. Drinks we just OK, but I tried their dirty martini and it was a bad choice! I followed up with a cold hibiscus tea with vodka and loved it. Tacos were amazing and the chips and salsa was equally delicious. Definitely order the home made guacamole. My personal recommendation is the riblet taco - great flavor, but you can't go wrong on any of the taco choices.

This is a must when in San Jose del Cabo. The service and ambiance is amazing. Our waitress was super attentive even with our small language barrier. The restaurant was all together wonderful. Wow! Just wow. Las Guacamayas absolutely blew us away — so much that we came back twice in one trip (and honestly, we could’ve eaten there every single night). The atmosphere, the food, the flavors — everything about this place makes it one of those restaurants you dream about long after your vacation ends. If you’re anywhere near San José del Cabo, do yourself a favor and GO. Now for the delicious details… To start, their homemade salsas were incredible — so fresh and flavorful that even my fiancé, who normally avoids spicy food, couldn’t stop eating them (jajaja!). For drinks, I had a blended mango margarita with chamoy — the perfect mix of sweet, tangy, and refreshing. I could’ve easily had five of them. For dinner, my family and I ordered the famous molcajetes, and I can’t even begin to describe the flavor. We tried both the combination and shrimp versions — they were loaded and beautifully presented. The combination came piled high with chicken, flank steak, chorizo, avocado, cotija cheese, onion, and a rich, flavorful sauce. The shrimp one had mountains of shrimp, avocado, asparagus, and cheese — absolute perfection. My fiancé got the chicken and pork tacos and said they were super authentic and delicious. We devoured everything in minutes! Our waitress was so sweet and welcoming — she didn’t speak much English, but that just made it all the more fun (great practice for our Spanish!). We loved it so much we came back a second night for the same molcajetes, more tacos, and one of the volcanoes — YUM. The combination molcajete that night was a little different, but just as flavorful. I also tried a classic margarita and a mango margarita on the rocks — both 10/10. I can’t wait to come back to San José del Cabo and eat here again. Las Guacamayas is truly a gem — authentic, vibrant, and absolutely delicious. Muchas gracias! 💗

The food was amazing, the staff were all very friendly our waitress spoke very good English and it was very reasonable priced. 3/13/24 Went back again and it was just as good if not better this time, tried the guacamole this time and it was amazing. We had the marinaded pork volcanos and the chicken volcanoes also! Again very good and price was just right!!

Great restaurant walking distance from our timeshare. Food was fantastic and big portion. We were there Monday lunch and I have a coupon second plate off for lunch. They are very nice and made a special plate not on the menu for my kid. They will cook for fish if you had join fishing tour and need a place to cook your fish.

Amazing restaurant. So much better than the food at our resort. It's a short walk up the hill from Coral Baja and well worth it. Many choices and even some lunch specials. When we were there, they had a $9 burger and fries special. Update: We e been here twice for lunch and again for dinner. Do not pass this place up, particularly for dinner!! The plates come out beautifully garnished with vegetable flowers and so much more. Captain John's Platter is s Shrimp, scallops, fish and calamari, served with veggies and potatoes and bread for the table. And they do not skimp on the portions. They offer multiple preparations. I chose the bacon wrapped shrimp because ... bacon! Grilled to perfection. Simply amazing. Do not miss Sardinia Cantina. Seriously.

Great food and hefty servings. Loved the atmosphere, service and location right outside of our resort. They prepared a combo fish/shrimp basket at or request and we audio the chicken enchiladas. Took the leftovers back to the room :-).

We had an amazing dinner. My husband caught fish and we brought it in and Carmelo and Armando the chefs made two different incredible dinners. Manny, our waiter was great and RAFA. The bartender was super attentive. I highly recommend Sardina Cantina. We are looking forward to coming back again.

Fantastic little hole in the wall ran by native Montanans. Fantastic breakfast and dinner with some of the best clam chowder I have ever had. Went here multiple times getting both the chicken enchiladas and the sea bass. Both were very flavorful and a good value. Note to the owner, what was that weird Asian fried rice that was flavorless doing with my enchiladas? Maybe just stick with Mexican rice?

We had a 4 person seafood mocajete with lobster, meat, octopus, shrimp, cheese. It was bubbling hot as they arrived it to the table. The taste was amazing. The atmosphere was so much fun and cool due to the ceiling fans, and yes it was also a cool ambience. I would recommend this place. That’s why I’m giving it 5 stars- staff, great-, eager to serve their patrons. They were always ready to serve you and make you feel special. You have got to try it!

This place is amazing. The food is top tier, the portions are super generous, and the prices are really fair. The vibe is fun, lively, and just a cool spot to hang out and eat. I had the surf and turf molcajete and it was packed with flavor. The marlin tacos were also incredible, probably the best I’ve ever had. If you’re in Cabo, you have to try this place. I’d recommend it 100%. Just be careful not to order too much food!

Absolutely enjoying this! Cute like a seafood market place and many people are having good time eating here! So many options that I didn’t know how to choose or which ones to choose from! But don’t think it will be wrong to order the signature ones here! Sooo good and huge portion! If I come to Cabos again will definitely revisit here for sure!! Worth coming with uber!

This was our second time there and the experience was great the service was over the top. Every person is kind willing to help you in what ever you need. The meals were outstanding and the portions are large.

Ordered the combo empanadas based on how good they looked when served to someone at the next table. They had such a good crispiness. The shrimp and fish were good, however, I was not a personal fan of the marlin flavor. Also ordered a virgin pinada and it was excellent. Serving sizes were very large so we just shared a plate. Service was great!!

We had wanted to try this spot on one of our previous visits, but we never got around to it. This time we made a point of going early on our visit so we would definitely have dinner there. Our initial reaction was not very favorable, both the gentleman who sat us and our first server were somewhat surly. No smile, no greeting, we felt like we were bothering them. I understand they may be tired of rude gringos, but we live in Mexico, speak Spanish somewhat well, and always tip our servers well, so the initial interaction eas somewhat disappointing. I will day that from that point on the service improved tremendously and the servers who brought our drinks, food, bussed our plates, etc. were friendly and provided excellent service. We ordered shrimp ceviche as an appetizer. We are used to ordering ceviche and it coming in a small goblet or wine glass. We are unprepared for this enourmous (and delicious) serving of ceviche. This could easily serve a party of four with some left over. We ended up bringing half of it home. It was a nice touch having over a dozen different types of hot sauces on the table. I ordered the whole fried fish and my wife ordered the coconut shrimp. The fried fish was huge and perfectly cooked. It was moist, tender, and well prepared. For just over 300 pesos this was an exceptional meal. It came with rice, mashed potatoes, and a small salad, but after all that ceviche and the fish, I couldn't even try them. My wife ordered the coconut shrimp. While they were huge, nicely battered, and had plenty of coconut, they were a little overcooked. They still had an excellent flavor, but maybe just a little shorter tome in the fryer. All in all, we enjoyed our visit. Most of our servers were great, the atmosphere was lively (the live music was nice), the food was very good, and the portions were huge for a very fair price.

Best Marisco Restaurant in Cabo ! Was referred by local 8 yrs ago, my wife and I make a stop every time we're in Cabo.

Hands down the best breakfast in the area. We left our resort, Montage, to eat here and were not disappointed. Fresh, flavorful food and excellent service. They also had pastries they came around with and fresh juices. We loved it here. All seating has ocean views and an open air concept. You can watch the surfers swim tour table. Sandy beach right outside. Also the best prices we encountered in the area. Must stop!

This restaurant is truly something special! One of my all time favorites. It’s perched above a quiet, private beach at a world-class hotel, offering phenomenal views that make the experience even more memorable. The food is outstanding, made with high-quality ingredients and amazing plating. On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I 100% recommend dining here if you get the chance.

Very good food for breakfast lunch and dinner. Karla the hostess is so sweet and Monzerrat was an AMAZING waitress. She even helped us with our Spanish! Giovanni was great too. Thank yall so much! The guacamole could be a lot better though, I would skip that. Also the views are absolutely stunning.

Celebrated a friends anniversary. The food is fresh, flavorful, wonderfully presented and just amazing all around. Atmosphere is fabulous, overlooking the ocean no matter where you sit.

The perfect spot to watch surfers at old man's beach which is located directly out in front of this gorgeous restaurant. The food is excellent and the seeding is very comfortable and ergonomically correct. The Wi-Fi was speedy at around 354/500. The only downside was that the bathroom had a leak in the men's toilet where your urine would be spraying out to your feet and then in the main stall the lock is needing replacement. For a five-star type hotel this is not acceptable. Otherwise this is an amazing fabulous place.

7 Seas Restaurant and Grille is located on a resort property right off the beach! The food and service was amazing, our food cooked just right and tasted wonderful! The pictures don’t do it justice it’s way more beautiful and relaxing. Highly recommend for the food and views.

We went here as we heard good things about the restaurant but we were not that impressed. Portion sizes were small and food was expensive. We order cauliflower as an appetizer and it wasn’t cook/spiced properly. Service was good fast and view was amazing.

WOW!! do not skip this place! It was walking distance from our hotel so very accessible. Our waiter David was super friendly & helpful with the menu. The inside was decorated beautifully & the sushi was phenomenal!! Those chefs know what they’re doing back there! Cannot wait to come back & im going to tell everyone to come here !!

Believe it or not, this is a VEGGIE roll?! Never in 29 years have I had such an exciting and unique vegetable roll. Everything we ordered here was creative and delicious. Prices are good and service was amazing. Highly recommend.

This place is near our apartment and though most sushi in MX is lacking the fish here was first rate.

The food is good especially the stuffed shrimp and San Jose peppers. Inside is very loud though with lots of TV screens. Items on the bill which we hadn't ordered (this was sorted when we raised it). Wasn't very busy but drinks took a long time.

This place was awesome! We have a fave sushi spot when we come to Cabos... however, after eating here, we now have two favorites! I absolutely loved the rolls here. Flavors were robust and went well with the ingredients. The jason roll (I believe) was amazing and the tiny mango pieces such a flavor treat. Best miso soup I've had as well. Prices reasonable for high quality food and our serve was so sweet. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent sushi. We had the reccomended specialty/feature rolls and they were the best rolls we've had. Service was excellent and they sung happy birthday for my wife with dessert. Eduardo our server was top notch. Highly reccomend.

Paco and Paula have created and sustained a truly delightful place. The food is fresh from scratch and eating here makes me so happy. My first time here was 2 years ago and finally made it back! It continues to be as wonderful as ever! Prices are reasonable, coffee is on point! I wish that I had a second or even a third stomach so I could eat everything on the menu every time I visit! Soon this will be your favorite place too!

Just a short walk from Plaza Mijares, this café is a hidden gem. The storefront may look unassuming but inside you’ll find a beautifully appointed interior that opens into a lovely courtyard and garden with ample seating. During our visit, we even saw mangoes dropping from the surrounding trees, adding to the charm. Service was quick and efficient. For breakfast, we ordered the Papas con Huevos with salsa roja. It tasted fresh and delicious. The Limonada Lolita was also refreshing, sweet, and satisfying on a hot day. Chic, comfortable, and full of character, Café de Lolita is a must-visit in San Jose del Cabo.

This was the perfect place for some breakfast. Located off of the town square and super cute indoor outdoor seating. We ordered a Lita Special coffee, churro, cinnamon roll, chiliquellas and eggs your way plate. The cinnamon roll was unique because we thought it would be covered in glaze but surprisingly it was not and reminded us of a pecan sandy but it had walnuts. But don’t sleep on this cause it was extremely decadent. The churro was scrumptious with the dulce de leche dipping sauce. My friends chiliquellas was amazing served with shredded pork. My plate was simple but great. I was surly at the refried black beans…so good. This place was inexpensive and quaint. You need to stop in.

If you’re looking for a great meal, this spot delivers. We started with a conchita as our appetizer, which was well-prepared. For drinks, we had an Americano, a jugo de frutas mixtas, a naranja, and a limonada de pepino y menta—all refreshing. For food, we had the Juncalito, the enfrijolada, the chilaquiles, and la Playaita ensalada with grilled fish. Everything was well-made and satisfying. We described the atmosphere as ‘oasis in the city’. Worth a visit!

I've taken friends to District many times, so when I needed a place for a party of 32 I called. We took over half of the dining area and had a perfect set up for a large group. The service and food were excellent as always, but I have to mention that Hector and his staff were at our table the entire time. He made sure each and every guest from the youngest, age 6 to the birthday boy turning 80 had everything they needed or wanted. Thank You Hector! Tony C

​I absolutely loved my visit to District MX! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was genuinely nice—they made us feel right at home. Every dish we tried was excellent, and honestly, the prices were so reasonable for the quality. Seriously, you have to try their amazing Street Corn and Avocado Dip; it was the star of the meal! I'll definitely be back on my sext trip.

Every time we eat here it’s just plain delicious, easy and fun. They have refined the art of an american sports bistro with elevated common sense delicious meals and drinks that can be eaten at any night of the week. Absolutely the best no nonsense no fuss cuisine.

Very disappointed with the taste of the food! We went for lunch as the menu spanned multiple cuisines. We have ordered hummus, Thai green curry, teriyaki rice bowl, savage mango drink. Hummus and savage mango drink were good. Thai green curry and teriyaki rice were very very bland and did not taste good at all!

Went here to watch UFC 305. This IS a real sports bar with fantastic food. Also overlooks the ocean, seems newly built, nice atmosphere and location. No complaints here folks, 5 Stars fa sho.

I had high hopes, based on the reviews but this restaurant is just okay. And the customer service wasn't the best. The upcharge is ridiculous. They charge 30 pesos to cook your burger well done. Of course this information isn't made known to you beforehand. And my burger wasn't even cooked properly! Also the menu that's in English doesn't have accurate food descriptions. The food presentation was 10/10 The food was 6/10

Best food in Los Cabos, we ordered Veggie burger, large soup, BBQ chicken Sandwich and Fish with fries. Fish was alright but other food items were delicious. Excellent service and organic food. Will definitely recommend. Very affordable prices.

Nice place close to hotel and beach. Great food, veggie burger, and homemade tofu for salads. Cash only, but well worth the visit!

Cynthia’s is one of my favorite spots for lunch. The food is consistently good and the value is also excellent. I love their salads and the Cynthia farm salad with loads of roasted veggies is my favorite with or without added protein. The quantity is enough to take home half for the next day’s lunch.

Great food and people!! They are cash only… they do take USD, but I didn't like their exchange rate so I should've taken out pesos -- this is my fault. I base this from eating at another restaurant and the difference between pesos and USD was $5 on a similar bill, but Cynthia Fresh was $11 difference on a similar bill. Not a big deal but definitely different and tourists might find this nice to know; this is the only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars overall. Enjoy!!

We came here for a late lunch and split the ceviche and grilled fish with tomatillo sauce. The ceviche portion is huge! It’s a light and fresh tasting. The grilled fish was cooked perfectly and the tomatillo sauce and vegetables were delicious. The margaritas are also a good choice!

Our favorite place to eat! Fresh and delicious! So great to find healthy organic food, and GF choices. We ate all of our lunches and at least half of our dinners on our last trip in 2019. Back then it was cash only, not sure if that's still the case. We are getting ready to book our next trip, only after confirming Cynthia's is still going strong! A little update, we visited again in December 2023, and we ate there 4 times! Cynthia's is reliably wonderful from the food to the service. The guacamole is still the best in town. My favorite thing is the salad with roasted root vegetables, and topped with fish. Compared to other places we went, their portions are more generous, price is lower, and we got our food more quickly (Don't expect it in 5 minutes, but plenty of places in town keep you waiting 30-45 minutes to get your meal). Still all cash, and they sometimes have live music there. Nice, casual place, great for lunch and dinner, and they put a lot of care into everything they do.

We ate here twice during our trip to Los Cabos, and were pleased both times. Large portions, great salads, reasonable prices. Also, they are extremely pet friendly! Just be sure to have a leash to secure your dog and they are welcome on the patio.

Love this place! Great atmosphere! My husband and I ate here almost everyday on our trip. Kinda extra fun if you're looking for a real bargain along with a great experience. For fun, one night we ate here and tried to see how inexpensive we could get by; we had our own water bottles; we each ordered one taco. They provide free chips and salsa and a sort of salad bar with trimmings for our taco. We ate VERY WELL. The coconut shrimp taco(3 very large shrimp!) and the chicken taco(juicy)was delicious! Our bill was $5.88. Fun! Other nights we ordered a variety of items just to try them all. I will say, service is a bit slow if you're in a big hurry. We weren't. It was our vacation! We will definitely eat here again when we return. Also, it's fun to be able to sit in the open ear when you're from Wisconsin like we are.

Not a bad place! Unfortunately the city was having sewerage issues and black water was coming out in front of the restaurant leaving a bad odor in the air. Now about the food, everything that was not deep fried was great. The deep fried food taste like an old oil was used. All the sides were good with many options and the portions was big . The beers were ice cool( very important). They are worth trying.

Came by recommendation from Cabo Azul. We usually eat around the large hotels and it usually is very pricey which leaves us wondering why we were paying for more pricey food in Mexico than in the US. Claros ended up feeling like a lot more reasonable price. We ordered several types of tacos. Ultimately loved the coconut shrimp, grilled shrimp, and arrachera tacos. The octopus and scallop tacos were good but did not have quite as much flavor. The tacos were pretty loaded with meat. Could probably order extra tortillas and make 3 tacos into 5. I loved the coconut shrimp and will go back to get 3 coconut shrimp tacos for dinner. They have an awesome salsa bar with slaws, salsas, and dressings. The guacamole was reasonably priced and very tasty. Also a large portion. Maybe the best salsa bar I’ve ever seen. We also ordered limonadas and they were also delicious. Ultimately will make this a regular place we visit every year instead of Lateral or La Mexicana. I’ll be honest the service wasn’t top notch and orders were messed up but I don’t speak Spanish so I can’t expect there to not be any mix ups. We only ended up paying for what we originally ordered so mix ups were fixed in the end!

If I could give it more stars I would. I have been to puerto Vallarta Cancun playa Mujeres hualtulco and Cabo. Multiple times each. This is the first time I have been here and these are no joke the best tacos I have had in Mexico! We had the surf n turf, smoked marlin, coconut shrimp, arrachera and the crunch shrimp! Wow so amazing! Live music and the mango smoothie was to die for!

Went to the location opposite the Plaza Artesanos. Large language barrier, even using translate app. Wait staff are unable to describe most of the dishes available. Service really let's them down. Had 3 different servers during our meal. That aside go for the food. We had the Marlin torito, which was bursting with flavor. The salsa bar was amazing in its variety. Onion rings were a letdown, kinda soggy. Had a crunchy shrimp taco. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, lovely crunch, and not oily at all.

This one is always a must on my to do list when in Cabo. Crispy chicken tacos are my absolute fave and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend!

Everything we tried was amazing! We got four tacos, a tostada and the chicken plate and it all was all delicious! Highly recommend the tropical tostada.

The live music on the street drew us in and we enjoyed our dinner on the patio. Our waitress was wonderful, very personable and attentive. I was impressed with my martini (I also had an espresso, which was real espresso and not creamy). We tried some items of the test menu for appetizers and had the Tiradito Tuna and it was amazing and I was impressed by the portion! My husband had the mushroom and pork taco. The pork taco was a little dry. The children’s tacos with rice and beans was also a generous portion! Definitely recommend!

Juan Pablo, the owner and the staff are phenomenal along with the food and prices affordable for anybody delicious food that goes a long way. I appreciate the hospitality and the humbleness of him and his staff. Prosper my friends!

Do not walk past this place - it is DELICIOUS! The nicest staff. Amazing food and flavor. Do yourselves a favor and get here fast. Chile relleno: literally could not stop eating it. So so flavorful and beautifully presented. Kids steak tacos: the kids said they were the best tacos they've had. Tuna tartar: unbelievable. So good! We will definitely be back.

We went to Latino 8 for their lunch special after it was recommended to us by the hotel staff at Cabo Azul. The price was amazing, $450 pesos for all you can eat from 12 to 4pm. We had the ceviche, tuna tartare, tacos and empanadas. Everything was incredibly delicious. Well made, flavorful and beautiful food. The service was top notch. Everyone was kind and attentive. The food came out quickly. Definitely recommend.

This place came highly recommended to us by a hotel employee over at Cabo azul. (Across the street) we crossed to have lunch after check in & we were left so disappointed. It was $25 all you can eat lunch special per person. Tacos and empanadas were the driest thing ever. The ceviche was edible, so I ended up ordering it twice to I can try to get my moneys worth. Overall, this meal was disappointing to have as my first straight off my flight.

Would prefer to give them a 4.5 but Google only does whole stars. Food was pretty good, skip the empanadas and go for the tacos and the ceviche. The mushroom tacos I would definitely go back for over and over again. The service was quick and friendly, chips are fresh and seasoned, decent drink menu and some fun musical entertainment.

I stopped in for dinner after reading all the positive reviews and was not disappointed. The service was outstanding, Ricardo was great, the owner Juan Pablo even came to the tables to check on the customers. The Food was at another level. Being from Tampa, Florida we have amazing Latin Cuisine, this was a step above. I had the Corn Soup to start and could have eaten 3 bowls and left and still given it 5 stars. Sweet, a little spice, some crunch, in a creamy base. I went simple for my entree with Tacos, the Surf and Turf were phenomenal as were the pork, so tender, with a touch of spice. No sauces needed, just pure flavor. I saved room for something I never had before, Chocolate Tamales with Ice Creame. Wow! Very Good, warm brownie feel with Vanilla Ice Cream, you can't go wrong here.

We had a wonderful meal. They squeezed us in on one of their busiest nights “ Art Walk”. We both ordered the catch of the day. The fish was cooked perfectly, crispy skin and melt in your mouth meat. I comes with a choice of 3 different sauces, cilantro, pepper or garlic butter. We chose cilantro for one and the pepper sauce for the other. Both were delicious. I was in heaven as the fish come on a bed of delicious vegetables, topping the rice. We accompanied our meal with a glass of wine. I could not have asked for more. There was live music and the ambiance was perfect. The restaurant has tables that are well spaced so it is intimate and warm in a courtyard setting. Thank you for squeezing us in having no reservations. Would highly recommend stopping in or making reservations!❤️

Casa Don Rodrigo is set back a little bit with a smaller front, but a much bigger, better authentic Mexican experience inside. Nice bar in front with excellent cadillac margaritas and indoor air conditioned seating, and so much more outback. The tableside guacamole, and all of the dishes we ate are amazing!

Me and my gf stumbled across this place during the day after doing some shopping at the local plaza. Decided to stop in for a drink and the drinks did not disappoint. The bartenders and server were friendly and even gave us some samples of their aged cheeses. We looked at their menu and decided we needed to come back for dinner and I’m definitely glad we did. Everything we had was so delicious!!! Would definitely go back!!!

On Aug. 11, 2025, we came for a quick bite before our shuttle came for the airport. The service was okay but the shrimp tacos we got were bland and dry even though we added the sauce that came with them. We never thought you could get a bad taco in MX, but we did. The worst part was the pressure from the server for a cash tip. It's a tourist trap. Do not waste your time or money here.

My friend and I were debating on where to get dinner on a Tuesday night and luckily we got to meet the BEST of the best Alvaro, he treated us like family and although we were the only people in the restaurant, we still had a magical experience!! Tableside guacamole, I had the Verde chicken enchiladas and my friend had the catch of the day and we were in heaven. Please tip cash only, the taxes on credit card tips are insane for servers!!! :) Thank you Alvaro!

We were walking back to the resort from the art festival and were hungry We had looked up this restaurant before but didn't think that they would have availability but on the way home we stopped by and asked They had room for two we were immediately seated at a little table right in front of the band that was playing which was awesome. Our young server was very attentive, We were greeted with kindness we got the bone marrow appetizer It was absolutely amazing, I ended up getting the Caesar salad with chicken and my husband got the tortilla soup It was all very very good and we ended up getting the pumpkin tamale for dessert I didn't know what to expect and it was absolutely amazing Definitely check this place out if you're in San Jose del Cabo. I'm almost certain that the owner and his family were among the guests that evening after the band was done playing I'm going to assume the gentleman was the owner and he got up and sang some pearl jam for us which was pretty awesome.

It's taken us 4 trips to San Jose del Cabo to find our new favorite restaurant. This place is a must! Mi amor and I shared the Molcajete...omg! Their flan is food heaven!

Plenty of food, plenty of options, all kinds of seafood to choose from, I do recommend this place if you are craving some Mex style seafood, just do not expect super highly elaborated dishes because there are none, but still a good option.

Great classic fish and shrimp tacos. The scallop taco and marlin are also flavorful options. There’s a big salad bar where you can add salsas, tomatoes, and other toppings to spice them up.

Tacos were not that great. Corn tortilla did not hold together, overall not as tasty as other taco places we tried in San Jose.

Four of us ate dinner here. Food was marginal and the setting had a dirty appearance. Walls are filthy and in dire need of fresh paint. Grilled shrimp tacos were nicely flavored but fried cabrilla tasted wrong. With so many nice choices throughout Los Cabos, I would definitely NOT return.

Review for to go order to take back to our hotel for a late lunch. When I stepped in was asked to wear a mask, so note at this time need a mask to eat here. Ordered 2 two steak, 2 marinated meat (both meat tacos on corn tortillas) and 3 smoked marlin tacos on flour tortillas per waiter’s suggestion. Smocked marlin tacos were amazing. Beef ones were okay but the corn tortillas were not great ( maybe because they were not super warm since the order was to go. Came with three different salsas, crème sauce, cut limes & cucumber. Total bill was around $16. Great value. Better than any taco we ate at the Viceroy Hotel!

Definitely off the beaten track but the food was great. The salad and salsa bar really make the tacos pop. The half orders of ceviche were filled to the brim with great seafood. The campechana had a mix of octopus, shrimp, scallops - so good. 2 half orders of ceviche, 2 tacos, 2 bottle waters were $25 USD

Decent shrimp/fish tacos with a large sauce bar area. I wish I had ordered a non-fried option as I imagine the grilled fish is very fresh. Only reason this location did not get 5 stars is that a large American family came in after us and they seemed to receive priority attention from all the staff.

I’m combining my dinner and brunch review 🙃 Dinner - 2/5 Brunch - 5/5 When visiting Javier’s, I’d definitely opt for the brunch and skip the dinner. Ahi Tuna ceviche - dinner : 1/5 absolutely lacked flavor and substance. Mole enchiladas - dinner : 1/5 - hard pass, the mole tasted burnt Javier margarita - dinner : 5/5 - they hit the mark and this was probably the best marg I had in Cabo. Brunch - $70 USD with unlimited mimosas, aperol spritzers, bloody Mary’s and beer - yes please. Fantastic food selection and a great view - what more could a girl ask for.

Our favorite restaurant in San Jose del Cabo, located within the Hilton Cabi Azul resort. Service is always excellent, you can tell the staff has been trained incredibly well. This time Daniel waited on us and he was a fantastic server from the minute we sat down until the time we left. We ordered a couple of margaritas and they were excellent. My wife ordered a watermelon margarita and I had guyaba. Both were stong, delicious, and looked beautiful. We ordered the La Tablita for two, which was essentially a make your own taco plate which included tice, guac, refried beans, pico, steak, chicken, and carnitas with your choice of tortillas (corn or wheat). Everything was absolutely delicious. For desert we shared the oan de elote a warm corn cake served with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. It was devine. We highly recommend Javier's, even if you are not staying in the resort.

Some highs some lows. For $95 USD a person especially if you're already staying at the resort.... Highs were definitely service, atmosphere, and the raw bar. The lamb and the roast beef were also really good. The omelette bar looked really good but we didn't try it unfortunately. The mimosas and the aoerole sprits were worth trying! Lows, most of the meats were very dry, the cold meat and cheeses, salad, and desserts were flavorless. The beer was warm and flat and the bloody Mary could have been better. Overall worth trying but I wouldn't go out of your way or your budget! Definitely suggest a reservation.

Delicious food Everytime and always a great celebration!

We had a delicious meal at Javier’s during our stay in Cabo! The food was fresh, flavourful and cooked perfectly. Especially the variety of salsas and sauces we tried with our meals for the enchiladas and fajita platter for two. Some of the best flavours we’ve had so far on our trip!

I’ve been to Javier’s in Century City many times and have always loved the experience, so I was excited to try the one here in Cabo for the first time. The setting is beautiful, but overall, the experience was just okay. The service felt a bit off,not as attentive or warm as I’ve experienced at their other locations, and the food was fine, but didn’t quite meet the usual Javier’s standard I’m used to. It wasn’t bad by any means, just not as impressive as I expected. Hopefully next time it’ll be closer to the experience I’ve come to love in L.A.

All of the raw bar items were delicious but most the cooked meats were overcooked. All the seafood in the Paella was overcooked. Every beer I ordered was warm and flat. Had to return them. Not the experience I expected for $95 per person.

I ordered food on Uber Eats for delivery. The Beef Carpaccio was good quality, and surprisingly a good amount of beef for the price. It also included arugula and shaved parmesan cheese with a nice bright lemon based dressing. No capers unfortunately, which really add to this dish. The shrimp in garlic and lemon sauce was a very small portion (5 small shrimp), and no rice offered as a side. The sauce was very good. Perfect mix of garlic and lemon. You only receive a mix of undercooked asparagus and broccoli for $25 USD, no other sides or fresh bread. They need to provide more shrimp, and a good size side of rice plus give the option of which vegetable you prefer. Provide fresh bread as well. Overall the food was decent but they need to improve portions, add fresh bread, and food options for delivery. They need to add side dishes on their menu, and reduce the cost for some dishes. For $25 for a main course meal I expect better. It's a rip-off.

This was a great go-to place. Above average food and service. Very comfortable. In the music room a bit loud. In the back no issues. Staff were super friendly. Food was above average... get something from the oven.. price was a tad rich... for the overall experience. Pizza was a 4/5.

Dunno why this place was hopping om a Friday night. But oh wow! This place was amazing! Best Flank steak and Fish I had in 10 years! A must when you visit San Jose Del Cabo!

Decent food and they had some nice live music while I was there. The pizza is made in a great oven, though the dough had no crisp on the bottom and could have been made better. Prices are high for Mexico standards, though are ok for USA tourists. Would return for the atmosphere, though it’s not the best food in Cabo.

Food and music are great. Service is beyond horrible. I get it, they were busy, but 45 minutes to get a drink. Waiter would go MIA. First time in my life I did not leave a tip for the waiter. I tipped the kitchen staff directly.

Great atmosphere, pizza special on Wednesdays with a live band. Pizza could have stayed in the oven a few more minutes, otherwise it was good.

Expensive and poor quality of food. Service was okay, stuffs are very nice and friendly but we wait for our meal for 40 mins when there was only us. We asked for regular water but they opened a bottle water. And the lobster in tacos was hard and dry…tasted nothing. The fish in tacos was very salty. We spent over $100 in this restaurant but we don’t think it worth our money. Main dishes are around $30-$50, but the quality is not worth the price. We will not recommend to try this restaurant

Food and price are very adequate. This location is filled with bliss and joy. Colorful decorations in the open air restaurant. Loud Mariachis playing from table to table. The Mexican food is delicious and fairly priced for being in the heart of the tourist area.

Good craft margarita options. They are located right in the middle of the art district and a good place to sit at the counter for a fancy margarita, or to grab a margarita to-go where you are walking around San Jose del Cabo

Really really yummy food. Even the steaks were good, which can be really difficult to find flavorful beef in Mexico. All the dishes had great flavors, The server was attentive and even brought us a little incense burner to keep bugs away (it's an open air building, but there are plenty of umbrellas for shade). We will definitely be coming back!

WOW! What a great restaurant! Everything from the food, atmosphere, amazing staff and music were a huge hit. We started with some tasty margaritas. My wife and I shared a Cesar salad which was made tableside which was excellent. For mains we shared the beef marrow and the lamb shank which were both hits. Lastly dessert was the best flan we've ever had. This was a huge hit for us. We highly recommend visiting.

Great restaurant with classic Mexican dishes. The menu has clearly labeled vegan options. Although the vegan options are appetizers and therefore small, they are all reasonably priced so you can always order more. The best part was the service, Andres really went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Note: If you like spicy food, they will bring you habanero salsa and salsa macha if you ask.

Went there for lunch yesterday. We had a great time and liked the food very much. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our requests and needs. Our order : Pozole ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The broth was delicious however a bit greasy for our taste. This may be how this dish is supposed to be cooked so no bad feelings here from our part. You can add sour cream in it. Liked it better without the cream. Fajitas (chicken) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The veggies along a with the chicken were so good. The chicken was freshly grilled and was very juicy. You could see that the tortillas served with it were homemade, delicious. Guacamole ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very good portion of Guacamole. Fresh avocado but missing in taste. We had the whole thing though, don’t get me wrong, it was still good ! We are glared we stopped there for lunch and highly recommend this place !

This location was probably the most visually stunning places I’ve ever been to, and the food absolutely matched its gorgeous location. We were so appreciative of the vegan menu, and it did not disappoint. Most notably, the spring rolls were so incredibly fresh and so delectable that we had to get a second order. The cocktails were incredibly delicious - it was also so fun to watch the “fizz” cocktail be prepared from the air canister, and it was incredibly light and refreshing. The entire staff was so attentive and gracious, they truly made us feel welcome and made the whole experience enjoyable. Both the view and the food made this a dinner experience I’ll never forget!

This restaurant was just so cool to dine at. The structure is built to resemble a birds nest surrounded by water. It was absolutely stunning. The food and service were also amazing! I would definitely recommend the spicy miso soup which was delicious and the pork belly bao buns which were so fluffy and flavorful. Everything we ordered was great and the staff explained their recommendations along with most of the menu. Can't recommend this place enough, it was definitely a great experience!

However, the otherwise perfect evening was slightly marred by the **manager**, who felt overly eager to rush our dishes. While we understand the pace of fine dining, the constant pressure to finish plates quickly detracted from the relaxed, indulgent atmosphere we were hoping for. Despite this, NIDO Sushi remains a must-visit ,for anyone craving top-tier sushi in Cabo. The flavors are exceptional, the setting is breathtaking,and the ,staff (minus the pushy manager) elevate the experience**. Just be prepared to dine at their tempo—or kindly ask to savor each bite at your own pace.

Incredible food, service staff, and food. We had the 7 course tasting menu experience. Every course was delicate, flavorful and beautifully plated. Their attention to detail was the by far the best experience we had the pleasure to enjoy in Cabo.

Setting: 5 stars! This is obviously a huge reason for coming to Nido as it’s one of a kind. The hotel is awesome and unique and the best is both a wonder at night and during the day. Service: Marco Polo was great as well as the hostess that sat us and the valet that also showed us to the restaurant. This great hospitality was the big reason the review was not less. Food/price: this was the disappointing part....for the price there is an expectation of great flavor and none of the dishes had that. The fish was bland and texture chewy, pork sliders were tough and again without any taste, the won tons were spicy but could have tasted like a pizza pocket for that matter. I do not mean to be cruel ****there is a service charge and tax added automatically. I hope the servers know this will directly effect their tip unless of course the night is perfect and if the food isn’t fixed that’s not likely******

Incredible restaurant located within the Viceory resort in San Jose del Cabo. Definitely one of the most beautiful properties in the world. Excellent restaurant with incredible food, excellent service and astonishing views of the Gulf of California. The clams were my favorite dish and probably one of the tastiest thing I've ever had. The cocktails were perfect. Overall, an absolutely perfect meal. A must visit!

Art. One of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever seen, you are literally eating inside a piece of artwork. The service is impeccable and everything is pristine. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the food and drinks at this price point. It is good, just not worth the price tag. Still a must see for anyone in Cabo.

Such bad food. Fish is not fresh with a weird after taste. Worst tuna I’ve had in my life. Pick something else.

Always fresh and delicious sushi! Don’t miss the chicken fingers (not on menu) as they are amongst the best is Los Cabos. Fried ice cream hits hard too! Jose always takes great cares of us. Service is fast and price is fair.

My favorite sushi in Cabo. Raw rolls like Mercado roll was great and didn’t get sick like other places. Good fresh tasting that won’t break the bank. Each roll is like 180p or$9. Shrimp Tempura batter was way too thick and not light like most Japanese restaurants you’d find. Suspect there is no panko breading in Cabo. But they give you plenty for the money… 8 from my count for 160p

If you know your sushi, you will know that this is not it. I don't understand the good reviews. The rice was too sticky, the servings looked sloppy. The wasabi was old and dry, the tempura was soggy and wet. The sashimi was sliced randomly, the nigiri was sore on the eye. At least - and for this they get one star - the fish was fresh.

Nothing less of disappointing. They make rules with a huge (double) amount of rice. They put only a hint of fish in there, even in Baja California where there is an abundance of fish and the prices they charge aren’t cheap. What a disappointment

This restaurant provided the unequivocal best meal of our trip. It's not your typical neighborhood sushi place; it's a more refined experience, and I wouldn't recommend bringing children expecting California rolls and hibachi theatrics. There are essentially two dining options: A la Carte or Omakase. I strongly recommend the Omakase. During our visit, there were three Omakase choices: a 12-course, a 15-course, and a 20-course option. You can start with the 12-course and upgrade to the higher tiers, paying only the difference. Some of the more traditional sushi (mostly nigiri, in this case) were exceptional. There were also interpretations of standards, like those with foie gras. While not bad, they were a bit excessive and overshadowed the fish. I should also note that, ideally, sushi rice should be loose and served warm or at body temperature. The rice started this way but cooled down throughout the meal. Despite these minor criticisms, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting.

The best sushi I've had in my life. Reasonable price for the quality. Everything we had we wanted more of. I had to get a second bowl of the steak fried rice. Sushi melted in your mouth.

The chocolate clams were amazing! The prices are very good. We got the tuna nigiri and a hot stone rib eye. The tonkatsu ramen was pleasantly good without being too fatty and a decent sized portion.

Very good place if you know Japonese food! If you want cream cheese and serrano on your soy sauce please stay way from this place they don't "deserve" YOU!! Our experience were great with many fresh fish with explosive of flavors, cold shake and nice chefs that made our night very pleasant making us feeling like family. Some of the best Japanese food I have ever had - the fresh fish was buttery soft and the flavours were delicious. The fried gyoza was the best I have had. Service was also incredible, absolutely recommend - sad I cannot come here all the time as I live out of country.

If you’re like me, struggling to find a good matcha latte in town, this is your place. They have almond milk. The latte isn’t too sweet. Pair it with a baked good from the panaderia next door. The croissant is good, the cinnamon roll is great. Lots of great seating. Very quick but a line can build up at peak times.

Prior to heading to the airport my family and I decided to stop and have brunch at what seemed to be a nice brunch right off the coast. We sat there for 45min and never even received our drinks. After speaking with several waiters and the host I received a mimosa that taste like flat champagne and my cousin ordered a smoothie that literally taste like water. One hour and 15 minutes later when we had no more time to spare prior to our flight we paid for the drinks we left on the table and never received food or communications. We were the ONLY black people in the establishment we were treated as though we had no business there. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE NOT A LOCAL!

This caffe restaurant is very unique on the way from San Jose to Cabo. I recommend some really tasty croissants and waffles from menu and perfectly blended coffee latte. After the great reviews we went out of our way to come hear. Arrived at 8am when they opened but they where still closed. Waited till 8:15 still nothing. There was a young man that looked like he worked there and I asked what time they opened and he told me 8am but his co worker with keys was still 10 minutes away. So by the time his co worker arrived and the machine heated up it would have been nearly 8:45 😑 Such a bummer the place looked pretty cool but if your right in the hotel zone you really got to open sometime near your posted hours. Update July 13- tried to give this place another shot closed at 10:30am on a Wednesday. Not sure what is going on hear.

You guys have a great coffee shop. I am in the service business in Canada on coffee equipment. I love the fact that you use medium to light roast. I'm from the USA. We're here for a few days. I asked a local person for a place that serves good tacos and he recommended this place. I definitely enjoyed the tacos! I will definitely bring the family here.

We were in this area for 5 nights and ate many expensive restaurant. This taco place end up to be on top of the list. Taco were really good. There is an English speaking server who went out of his way to help us order food and let us know which salsa is spicy and mild. We will be back again in the future.

The car rental agent and the valet at the resort both recommended this place. I like how they proudly display the pastor upfront and how they have plenty of parking and you’re able to walk right in. There are lots of servers buzzing around to clear tables and take orders. They had a very fresh salsa bar. I had Asada taco, and it tasted excellent. Their chorizo tasted different than what I’m used to, but when mixed with other meats was very good. The pastor taco stole the show though.
