Went on a rainy day while on vacation with two kiddos; 1yo and 3yo. There was plenty for us to do for several hours. It kept the kids busy, running around and just touching and exploring things! Great option for families to beat the heat or rain.

Absolutely awesome place to be! 😍 The giant clock at the entrance ⏰ sets the mood for an adventure right from the start. Perfect for curious minds of all ages — truly a playground for adventurous homo sapiens 🧬🦖. The IMAX theatre 🎬 is spectacular and makes every show an unforgettable experience. The exhibits are mind-blowing 🤯, super fun 🎉, and incredibly educational 📚. Every corner sparks wonder ✨ and excitement 😄. Highly recommended! 🌟🛸

I had the opportunity to take my sons here over the summer multiple times while using the south Florida adventure pass. Every time we went, it was a different experience. My boys love the Discovery Spot play area. Just make sure you reserve your spot when you check in at the front desk. They do fill up fast on the weekends. This area allows for their curiosity to take over with so many learning opportunities of cause and effect. We also love entering the Magna-tiles room found on the second floor. There is a space limit so sometimes you have to wait to enter. Again, usually only on the weekends. Our last visit had the Paw Patrol exhibit. All the little kids present were having a blast! I’m sure it was a little kids paradise. If you get the chance to do an IMAX documentary film, try it out. Our kids actually made it through the entire showing of Wild Rescue! My kids never say no to a day at MODS!

The Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale is a great place to take the kids! It was both fun and educational—there were plenty of interactive exhibits that kept the children engaged while also sparking their curiosity. From hands-on science activities to interesting animal encounters, there’s something for every age group to enjoy. Also, don’t quote me on this, but I believe if you use your Bank of America debit card on the first Saturday of the month, you may get a discount. Definitely call ahead to confirm, but it’s worth checking out if you’re planning a visit. All in all, a solid spot for a family outing that’s both entertaining and enriching!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Still a Great Museum, But Showing Some Wear We visited the Museum of Discovery nearly a decade ago and absolutely loved it back then. This time, we brought our two youngest for a day of hands-on learning and fun—and while we still had a great time, we left feeling a little disappointed. The museum is full of engaging exhibits, creative play areas, and opportunities for exploration. When everything is working, it’s truly a remarkable and wonderful place for kids and families alike. Unfortunately, during our visit, roughly a third of the exhibits were either not functioning properly, completely closed off, or under renovation. While we understand maintenance is necessary, the number of unavailable features made the experience feel a bit incomplete. That said, the museum still has so much to offer, and our kids had a blast. We’re hopeful that once renovations are complete and things are fully up and running, it’ll return to the five-star destination we remember.

Such a great experience! Educational. Every one who was in sections of the house were very knowledgeable and super kind. We asked a lot of questions and they answered them all! The grounds have been kept up and are so beautiful! After we did our tour we spoke with any individuals about the museum. This is Definitely a must see when here!

It is a beautiful place to visit and the history of the property and previous owners is intriguing. Dress lightly in the summer time and stay hydrated. There is plenty of shaded areas while you read about the different trees on the property. The volunteers are wonderful and they all love telling stories and answering questions. Thank you all for a nice day with engaged volunteers, it makes all the difference. We finished our tour right before the rain, but it was beautiful to watch.

What truly made our experience exceptional was the staff. From the first tour to the final send-off, the team was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. They were attentive to every detail and made us feel supported every step of the way. Bonnet House is a gem — a place where weddings of any size feel special. We couldn’t have asked for a better location or a more wonderful team. Highly recommend!

Delightful from start to finish! The Docents gave informative information in many different ways! Such a beautiful place and a small cafe with delicious ice cream to end your adventure!

This was such a beautiful preservation of rich south Florida history. The home itself was vibrant and beautiful with a large courtyard surrounded by rooms each with their own unique style and charm. The gardens surrounding the home are enchanting and awe inspiring. The volunteers and guides were very knowledgeable and friendly, there were no questions we asked that they didn’t have an answer to. If you’re in the area and have a knack for history, look no further because this place has it all.

What a great way to take a short trip back in time and see how a prominent family lived their lives in the Winter months starting from 1919 to just a few years ago. All the folks employed at the estate, became the extended family, and their story was captured also. Gotta love the iguanas!

Bonnet House was so beautiful! The gardens were full of wildlife just wandering around, and the shell collection was really cool. I loved that there were volunteers in every room who knew tons of fun facts about the history of the place. It was such a fun girls’ day out and I think kids 16 and under get in for free.

I was so surprised by this beautiful park! When I was heading over towards it I thought it was just a park. But as soon as I arrived I was greeted by the most friendly people of Fort Lauderdale and they asked me if I wanted a tour through the park. This was done by one of their volunteers and she was so excited to tell me all about the nature. The trails were beautiful and there was so much to see and explore. You can fill a whole day over here if you want. There is also a restaurant where you can take a lunch and have a drink. Oke… the worst part of this park THE BIG AMOUNT OF SPIDERS!!!!! They were soooo big and there were many of them! Even in the center of the trails.

Hugh Taylor Birch State Park is a hidden gem! The nature walk is absolutely beautiful—peaceful trails surrounded by lush greenery and wildlife. The waterfront view is stunning, perfect for relaxing or taking photos. Everything is well-maintained, and it’s a great spot to escape the city and enjoy some fresh air. Highly recommend for nature lovers or anyone looking for a quiet, scenic place to unwind.

Top Rated State Park! It's huge! Endless Trails and nature. One side borders the Intercoastal Waterway and the other A1A and the beach. Prime real estate that luckily got Perserved! There's even a cute restaurant.

Hugh Taylor Birch State Park is one of my favorite places in Fort Lauderdale for peaceful walks, outdoor adventures, and beautiful dog photography sessions. The shaded trails, open grassy areas, and dramatic trees offer a calm, natural backdrop that works in every season. One of the highlights is the nearby Intracoastal Waterway — the views are breezy and scenic, especially at golden hour when the light reflects beautifully off the water. I’ve photographed many dogs here, and what I love most are the moments of connection between pups and their people — whether it's a playful cuddle, a quiet walk together, or a look that says everything. This park has a way of bringing that out naturally. Highly recommend Birch for anyone looking to explore nature with their dog or capture timeless memories together.

Hugh Taylor Birch State Park is a nice spot 🌿🌞 for a relaxing day outdoors. The walking trails are pleasant 🚶‍♂️, the waterways are calm 🚣‍♀️, and you can spot some interesting wildlife 🦎🦢. It’s a good place for a picnic 🍉 or a short kayak ride 🛶. Not overly crowded, but not extremely thrilling either — an experience for nature lovers and families alike.

Family oriented park with everything you can think a park can have. From beer burger joint to bbq pits bike trail and intracoastal views. Clean bathrooms and manage by state rangers safe and and secure.

Go back in time to when Ft. Lauderdale first began with a trip to the Stranahan House. The self-guided audio tour gives you more than enough information about the Stranahans, the town, each room, and the people of the area from the early 1900’s up through Ivy’s death in 1971. This is a great tour for both locals and tourists. Be sure to take a break and sit on the outdoor porch for a bit to appreciate the beauty of the New River. While many of the artifacts in the house are “of the period”, there are a few gems that actually belonged to and were used by the Stranahans themselves. It’s a great affordable way to take in the quieter side of the city.

It is a well done preservation of the Stranahan's 1900s era home with furnishings. The self-paced audio tour was convenient and informative. You just press a room number on your audio device to hear details about what's around you. There were high school student docents in some of the rooms but they didn't offer to speak to you and looked like they were almost asleep. Very small gift shop. The tour takes about an hour. You're welcome to sit for awhile on the second floor veranda and watch the boats go by on the New River. The patio was roped off because it was under construction. Located just steps away from the Water Taxi Stop One landing.

A Step Back Time! This House is a delight and it's right in the midst of busy and modern Las Olas facing the beautiful New River. The house itself is a stunning example of simple yet beautiful design. Our guide, Missi, was very nice and very knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about the Stranahan family's history. The self-guided audio tour was true ingenuity - it allowed us to explore the house at our own pace while still gaining a deeper understanding of its significance. What truly impressed us was how the museum transported us back in time. The carefully preserved interior and artifacts created an immersive experience. This was definitely a unique and enriching experience in Ft. Lauderdale, the Stranahan House Museum is an absolute must-visit.

This spot is absolutely fascinating! The curator who welcomed us in had some incredible stories that really brought the place to life. I especially enjoyed listening to the audio history about the home and the area, it added a personal touch. One sweet surprise was finding comfy chairs on the balcony, and even better, you're encouraged to relax and take it all in. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home while soaking up some Florida charm and history.

Met the care taker John, we had a great conversation, he has been there for more than 35 years. They are lucky to have such a wonderful person taking care of the house. Ask for John, he has amazing stories to share about the house. He is also a veteran, such an honor to meet him.

Visited the Museum in May 2025 , first floor exhibition should have came with a warning of depression , sadness and anxiety. I know art is selective and in the eye of the beholder but seriously it did not give off a good feeling. Lucky on the second floor there was a Haitian artist that was more pleasant to look at . Second floor also displayed a few hundred pictures that gave us something to talk about . Overall we enjoyed the visit although I almost asked for a portion of my money back. Sorry.

I visited the NSU Art Museum in Fort Lauderdale for First Thursdays and was excited to experience what I had heard was a vibrant and welcoming event. The children’s activities were truly well done—creative, engaging, and a great way to introduce young minds to the art world. The art exhibits themselves were impressive and thoughtfully curated. Unfortunately, despite these highlights, my overall experience was extremely disappointing. During our visit, my family and I were followed by not just one, but two staff members. It was very clear we were being racially profiled, which made us feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, and deeply disrespected. It overshadowed everything the museum had to offer. We spoke with management to express our concerns and share how this treatment impacted our visit. While we were heard, the experience left a lasting impression—and not a good one. I can’t in good conscience recommend this museum to others, especially families of color. No one should have to endure being watched and judged simply for existing in a space that should be open and inclusive to all. Museums are supposed to inspire and educate, not alienate.

Great art from diverse set of artists. Had a good experience. Much smaller than you would think so don't plan a full day here.

Wonderful exhibit with local artist. My 11 year old was fascinated at the television with a knob. Stuff was very friendly and knowledgeable of all the artists works.

Very small museum with only 2 floors. Takes 30 mts to an hour to see it all. Overhead spot lights caused distracting glare on the art. It was overkill that 4 rooms were dedicated to one artist, Louis Glackens. A retrospect of 3 local artists was shown. It's great to support local artists but the pieces were lacking. Gift shop was nice. Staff and security were polite. Would not come back.

Went on a rainy day an hour before closing, so in terms of crowds, it was just us and a handful of people. Loved the abstract art! My favorite was the 2nd floor. Jaime Grant had his whole collection upstairs which was fun. Would recommend stopping by!

As of Sept. 2025, with temperatures in the high 80’s and low 90s, beech is beautiful and it’s free! It is wide - at least a 100 ft of very nice clean white sand. The water is so clean you can see the bottom of the ocean when you are standing chest high in water. And the water is still warm, unlike for example, the ocean along New Jersey. There are life guards frequently punctuated along the beech. And yes, there are plenty of places to eat, to drink, to shop and to listen to music along the boulevard that stretches for many miles. Parking is available on the street for about $3 an hour and in a garage for $10 for the 1st hr.

Parking is $4 per hour, and you’ll need to cross the street to reach the beach and nearby restaurants. The beach itself is decent but had quite a bit of seaweed during my visit. 🏝️ ☀️

This little street (NE 9th St. & North Fort Lauderdale Beach boulevard) has nice stores around, but looks like it needs street cleaning ASAP! There is a pizza place on one side of this street and the smell is disgusting here even when you are just walking next to it, I can't even imagine sitting and eating food outside there. I don't care who's fault this is... If this would be my business on that street I would pull out a garden hose and wash this waste off...

This we everything I needed! The Beach was amazing, safe and not crowded. Lively experience going on the strip behind us added to the fun atmosphere along with the picturesque palm trees!

I was on the beach yesterday, my son played in the sand I put my foot in the sand , when leaving and showering off , i notice oil spots on me & my son feet. Be careful ….. there’s an oil leak somewhere so now is not the time to beach bomb. Any other time it’s amazingly wonderful. Warm clean water , very nice residents in the area , and all around great people & good times .

Sand and waves were perfect. Did notice some strong currents so swim at your own risk. You can rent tables and umbrellas at a fair rate. There’s paid parking across the street and some restaurants within walking distance. The sand and beach overall were clean. Great place to bring the kids

The free water trolley gives you a 20 minute ride to check out all the walk with amazing views but you can also walk around and use the bridge to cross. I think it is super worth to take. Other than that not a lot to do. I walked around and found a museum and cute spots for pictures. A lot of homelessness folks in the picnic area and benches around. Watertaxi is also available to go to the beach but I found it too expensive since it is a 32 per person ride. Tickets must be purchased online. Wouldn't recommend for a large group.

I visited it after reading the reviews, it's ok if you have spare time in Florida, Many art galleries in that street, beautiful artifacts, good paintings and sculptures, there is water taxi stand which is good to relax, allow 1 to 2 hrs visiting time, parking is around $3/HR any where close by

The Riverwalk at FLL never gets old, great for walking and enjoy the breeze, beautiful area!

The Riverwalk was awesome. We saw baby ducks and all different colors of ducks. There are so many flowers, greenery, restaurants, and boats/yachts. There is so much stuff to see and do. Highly recommend this walk.

The ride was lovely. To get a small glimpse of how the other side lives looks beautiful. The all you can eat barbecue was good. The chicken strips were salty but the ribs were good. The after dinner show was great. The island where everything took place is beautiful. Of course all the staff were pleasant. Purchase tickets on Groupon.

The Jungle Queen is probably one of the most iconic boats in Fort Lauderdale and has been cruising up and down the intercoastal waterways since 1935. That is a really long time. Located in the Bahia Mar Yachting Center - Just south of Las Olas Boulevard this Fort Lauderdale destination should be experienced at least once in your life. As a South Florida Native, I have been on the Jungle Queen a handful of times. I have childhood memories on this boat and my children now have childhood memories. There are two Cruising Options: 90 Minute Daytime Sightseeing Cruise – Nighttime River & Island Cruise. I would make recommend arriving early, at least 45 mins. By the time you find parking, get your tickets - this is a first-come , first-served type of seating and you want to be on the top-deck for the best views and breezes. There is no air conditioning and downstairs can be warm. Seating is tight too, so get their early, I change my mind, get there an hour early. The dinner cruise in my humble opinion is “Very Touristy” which is fine. Boarding begins about an hour before they set sail and this is a 4 hour tour. You cruise down the intercoastal which is my favorite part. When you arrive at their private island, there is an all you can eat Ribs and Chicken Buffet style. Post Dinner everyone goes to the private amphitheater for the Polynesian Show complete with Hulu Dancers, impressive Fire Dancers and more. The sightseeing cruise – I personally prefer because it is only 90 minutes. The captain takes you up and down the waterways into the finger canals passing by Mega Mansions and Mega Yachts, all the while sharing who lives where. It is a lot of fun. The narrators are the best, for example. I hope everyone knows how important education is… I am sure your parents make sure get good grades and do your homeowner, because you do not want to end up being a “garbage man”... well look over to your left at South Florida's own Garbage man, Mr. Wayne Heusinger. How many of you heard… you don’t want to end up married to some “Used Car Salesman” , well look over to your right to non other a very own Used Car Salesman, Mr. Mike Maroone. All in All , the Jungle Queen is a fun experience for families, newcomers and vacationers.

Fun experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and amusing. It's best to arrive early if you want a good seat with a view. The drink prices were about what you would expect. The bbq dinner was average, the weight staff was friendly, and service was quick. Cons: There was no air flow on the boat, so sitting on it for 30+ mins in the heat waiting for departure, surrounded by 100 people got hot and smelly. It would have been nice if they had fans to circulate the air. Cup holders on the seats would have been beneficial. Also, the bathroom stalls were very snug. Overall we had a great time and I would recommend the tour

Must do if in Ft Lauderdale!! The tour of houses is nice boat ride on a fan cooled boat. Beautiful houses and funny jokes. Take the evening island tour if you can; just be prepared to participate in the hula dance. Lots of fun. The dinner on the island and the singer will cause you to be in good spirits all evening. The ride back is also calming and beautiful. Oh my! I wonder what Christmas time will be like!!!

Overall it was an ok experience. I went into it with low expectations so I wasn't disappointed. Here's my honest assessment... The parking situation is a little odd. The directions to the dock were confusing if you weren't familiar with the area. At the end of the trip they tell you to pay for parking on board for $20 vs paying the parking valet $60, it felt like a scam. We took a Lyft so we didn't have to worry about that. They tell you to check in at 4:45 for a 6pm sail time because they want you to get on board to purchase the watered down drinks. No need to rush. We got there at 5:15pm and in my opinion that was too early. Only benefit to getting there early is selecting a good seat on the top level. I recommend sitting up there for the view. The tour guide was engaging and fun. The sights along the water are beautiful. The boat ride in each direction is 45-60 minutes. The "island" is small. There are a few caged animals (that all look depressed) and lots of greenery, otherwise not much to see. Ok, the food... Funny story, I couldn't understand why the couple sitting next to us on the boat boarded with delicious looking salads. We were going to an all-you-can-eat BBQ after all...whelp clearly they knew something we didn't. You sit family style with strangers. When you arrive there's coleslaw, canned baked beans, mac & cheese (don't waste your time), and corn bread (best item) already on the table... along with a pitcher of water. Then the friendly servers come around with BBQ ribs (they were ok) and disgusting, super salty, breaded chicken fingers. There's your big BBQ dinner. Disappointing to say the least. They come around trying to sell you mini bundt cakes for $12 (I passed). You can also buy ice cream at one of the kiosks. So take a hint from the couple who sat next to me, eat your own meal in advance. The Polynesian show was lovely. It started to rain in the middle of the show so they moved us inside briefly. There is audience participation which is fun to watch. The closing act is a daring fire show. I'd never seen one up close so that was my favorite part. Overall, I would give the experience C+ for the price. It's good clean family fun, but with a fairly hefty price tag. I don't feel the need to ever go back. But you should try it once, just to say you did it. Take the $25 water taxi (narrated hop on hop off) instead and go to one of the fantastic restaurants along the way.

Had a great experience! The captain was super knowledgeable and saw amazing houses on the water and million dollar yachts. The bar in the boat was cool, drinks were cold and the bartender super friendly. The little on shore island was relaxing. It was all you can eat BBQ ribs and they were good. My family left stuffed. The show was also very fun and the fire show was exciting. For the price it was well worth every penny. I would do it again just for fun.

A great sight seeing tour. The host is commical and the sights are amazing. (Mansions, yachts, and mega yachts) It's nice to see things from the angle of the water, rather than on land. Nice experience with eating (on land) and then the Polynesian dinner show. Be sure to bring a card, as cash isn't accepted, except as a tip; but every purchase has a 15% gratuity included. Drinks are overpriced as expected. Overall, it's worth the cost of the tour, dinner, show, and enviornment/ambiance on the isle tip, as an experiance to have. The landscaping with the lighting and the tropical vibe/feel is good.

We love taking the boat here. So fun and easy. The kids love playing in the river side and of course it’s an easy walk over to the beach. Never to crazy and always very family friendly which plenty of other spots in the area aren’t. Highly recommend checking it out

This was an awesome beach. We found a station with baskets and buckets for cleaning up trash while walking the beach, which was an amazing concept and had to accept. Lots of dried seaweed and various shells. We found a good amount of trash so we picked it up with our handy baskets. Overall this is a beautiful place to walk around.

Great place for bird photography and birdwatching. If you come early in the morning, you'll be able to see all kinds of birds flying around; from seagulls, herons, pelicans, to passerine birds such as kingbirds, blue jays, and cardinals. Sadly though, quite a few trails are closed at the moment but you'll still be able to enjoy the beach as well as the creek that runs along the park.

The water was really rough so not many people were able to swim. Lots of seaweed too. Nice park though. Tons of parking and picnic tables. Boat ramp is avaliable too.

Dr Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park is an incredible place to spend a weekend with family. We enjoyed riding bicycles through the scenic trails, kayaking along calm, crystal-clear waters, and relaxing on the beautiful beach. It’s the perfect spot for a family weekend gathering—peaceful, fun, and full of activities for all ages. Best of all, it’s not that expensive, so you can enjoy nature and adventure without breaking the bank. We’ll definitely be coming back!

A nice shaded trail to walk your pup with lots of miles of beaches (no dogs on beach). The Hideout offered plenty of snack and drinks. A great destination!

Such a beautiful park/beach. We rented the Pelican pavilion for my dad's celebration of life and all their rangers were so helpful and kind. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star was because of the conditions of their restrooms. They are pretty disgusting and definitely need some updating. I went to different ones throughout the park and they were all pretty gross. The one by the kayak rental had all but one stall taped off. Please update your restrooms!

Really good way to see Fort Lauderdale - hop on and off as you wish. Great views of the luxury waterfront homes - really good guides - knowledgeable but humorous with it. We did a full trip in the morning then again at dusk. Also, the voucher leaflet has some really good discounts.

Worst business in Fort Lauderdale. The captain's ignore all rules, driving too fast in the no wake and idle speed zones. Driving over turtles and manatees, driving full speed through anchoring areas where people are swimming in the water. Creating big waves and tell the passenger wrong storys about the area.

This is one of our favorite things to do with out of town visitors who come. It gives you a great view into the extensive inner costal side of Fort Lauderdale. You can't appreciate the scope of the fun of this city without seeing this side because most of the celebrity and novelty homes don't look like nearly as much from the streets as they do from the ocean. I always also fund the commentaries the taxi pilots share are interesting.

Shar was an absolute blast as tour guide! He knows a great deal about the waterways, and has great stories about the area, (including a new one from me). and he will take time to speak with his sight-seeing passengers. He is the reason for the 5 star rating. Brad was good as well with many insights. They have $5 Margaritas and Rum and Coke. Good Times!!!

Great way to get around Fort Lauderdale and see the sights. Hop on and off all day. Took us to our resort Margaritaville in Hollywood too.

Fantastic way to wind up the evening just cruising all the stops. Wish I'd brought a cushion for the longer ride. Very relaxing and such great sights of the expensive houses and lavish boats on the river.

We experienced the water taxi on one of the busiest days- the Blue Angels air show - so they were very busy! We left from the Hollywood location at 11am and with wait time and stops we never had time to get off for lunch- as we wanted to catch the last boat back at 6:30- good thing they had drinks on board- but no food! Some chips/snacks for sale would have been nice! Fun way to see some amazing homes, boats, and if you have time Fort Lauderdale beaches and restaurants!

There is a lot of waiting and not much to do at each stop. You can spend way more time waiting and trying to time your stops then it's really worth. Same mundane monolog from each boat. If you want to see the sites along the route then it's great. Get on, stay on and see the sites. You can't really bar hop from stop to stop there's nothing st each stop without walking blocks to something. Ita a long day and you'll be staying in lines. Later in the day when they don't have someone at the stop to organize all the people it can get sketchy, people have been drinking and some drunk people aren't happy.

I went to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts for my son graduated and for shows in the past, I was really impressed! This place is excellent for watching a show. It’s beautiful, right in front of the water, with a lovely view. The surrounding area is super nice too , lots of restaurants, bars, and even museums nearby. Just an all-around great place to visit and spend time. I’ll definitely be back.

We went to the Jon Batiste concert at the Au Rene theatre. It was superb! Valet parking and entry were super organized. Seats were comfortable and sound was excellent . Staff super courteous and friendly. There is a bar close to the entrance where you can grab a drink and a quick bite. Excellent experience! Bathrooms spotless.

Such a beautiful theater! I took my nieces for their first show of the lion king they absolutely loved it!

First time visiting the Broward Center to watch The Rock Orchestra live! Great venue, accessible parking, wonderful crowd engagement, and best of all, a fantastic show! Classics from the great rock legends to contemporary musicians, The Rock Orchestra captures these elements for a night of exceptional rock.

Loved it! Went to see Life of Pi! Great show! The Arts Center is beautiful inside and out with very friendly, helpful staff. The staff was on point they easily noticed when guests were lost/confused and immediately assisted with smiles on their faces! Great attitude anywhere makes for a GREAT EXPERIENCE! Awesome photo spots 😆!

To my mind, this place is very underrated. It is hard for a small museum to compete with sunny beaches of Fort Lauderdale but if you are anyway is interested in museums this is definitely a place to go. The admission fee is 10 dollars only. This place is quite empty, so with some luck you can get a private tour for free (since the guide has nothing to do otherwise) and learn about Packard car make history. They collected all the models there, so there is enough stuff to see.

This place is well worth the stop. It was very interesting to learn about the Packard Company. This collection is simply amazing. I would recommend to anyone, especially someone interested in cars.

Don’t hesitate and go to museum if you love old cars. Rich collection of antique cars, unique signs, documents etc. Full immersion into history of Packard automobiles of the last century.

WOW. This place pretty Awesome. You would never guess that there is so many pristine cars in that little building. This place was a MUST SEE. So much to look at. I spent almost 2 hours there and could have easily spent two more.

Visiting Fort Lauderdale and stopping at the Antique car museum was a great idea. At a low cost of 10$ you will be taken back in the 19 century. This museum has very friendly staff that will take time you explain the story of each unique cars. The walls are filled with all kind of old car accessories from car emblems to window sliding knobs. It's interesting to read each car story and believe that our grand parents where driving those.

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday with a mermaid & pirate-themed party aboard Bluefoot Pirate Adventures, and it was truly the best day ever! The kids were engaged and smiling the entire time thanks to the fantastic crew, who kept the energy high and made every child feel like part of the adventure. The experience was incredibly interactive, fun, and well-run from start to finish. One small suggestion — since the girls were just as excited as the boys, it would be wonderful to see a mermaid character as part of the crew in the future! For anyone planning a birthday party, just a heads up: there aren’t many nearby options for cake or lunch afterward. There’s a small playground with a few picnic tables and some restaurants close by (though one doesn’t take reservations). We heard they’re working on a partnership with Quarterdeck — that would be a game-changer for private party planning and would really round out the whole experience. Highly recommend for a magical and memorable birthday!

Captain Crawfish and his crew were amazing. We highly recommend taking a trip with them! The beach access and resturant across from them is super cute also and we will come prepared next time!

We had an absolute blast on the BlueFoot pirate adventure boat tour! From the moment we stepped aboard, Captain Black Sparrow and his crew was full of energy, keeping both kids and adults entertained. The interactive games, treasure hunt, water cannon battle, and pirate storytelling made it a truly unforgettable experience. The kids were thrilled to be “recruited” as pirates, and the costumes and pirate lingo added the perfect touch. It was well-organized, safe. Highly recommend!!!

Captain Black Sparrow and his crew were so enjoyable on our pirate trip! He had us adults laughing and the kids too with his jokes. We could tell they enjoy their jobs and kids a lot (especially the Captain. Great singing voice too!). There were a lot of different activities for the kids to do. The last activity with the water canons got the kids pretty soaked, but there were areas to stand to stay dry. We paid around $60 for 4 people (then $10 for taxes right before our trip) with a Groupon as I couldn’t do the $150 - that price I think is a bit steep for an hour. But overall for my 4.5 year old and 8.5 year old loved it! Us parents too!

Captain Crawfish and first mate mullet were really good with the kids. The dad jokes from the Captain were killing my husband. The water battle with girl pirate for the key was my dd favorite part. Thanks so much for the fun afternoon. Keep up the good works guys.

We had an amazing time during our son’s 3rd bday adventure! The captain and the crew were so lively and helpful with the little and bigger kids! They really made the experience come to life. Would highly recommend for a bday or celebration. They did a treasure hunt, the limbo, and got to spray the pirate w water cannons. All of the kids said it was the best day ever!

This is the beautiful view of an evening where I stopped to charge my Polestar EV and absorbed the immense beauty and scenery! My son caught this sweet, friendly little crab and we enjoyed the ocean air. This area is a Must-See!! Amazing restaurants, stores and 24 hour fishing pier! Beautiful beach, easy to park (for a Friday night at dinner time in late August when it was about to rain). Beach was clean and showers were easy to access. Lots of places to get souvenirs, great food and treats nearby. Family oriented.

I used to come here when I was literally like a month old for 12 years. This place was my childhood. Really nice to see it redone it looks amazing. I wish they would fix the pier …. That part makes me sad 😢

The beer and drinks are good. I didn't have any food, but it looked pretty good. The location is odd, and you have to pay to park. The inside is nice. However, it is kinda empty. A few spots are just empty, so there are fewer businesses inside the marketplace. Generally speaking, I would recommend this place, but it isn't amazing. It is pretty decent 👌 👍.

Had a casual hang here for my bday celebration and had a blast, good food choices, and fast service. Drinks were strong and delicious, nice vibe and great for taking photos, it was slightly loud since there was a live band, but they were awesome. There's also an ax throwing area and lots of adult activities, i.e., pool table, electronic dart boards and giant jenga, etc. A must visit if you're in the area, first hour is free for parking and 4bucks per hour after that.

It’s been a while since my last visit but i had a positive experience. This place is a food hall with many vendors offering a variety of different food options along with a full bar and a brewery. You order and pay at your table and they bring the food and drinks to you. The food and drinks that we ordered came out fairly quick, very tasty and flavorful. I’ll return again soon.

We came here as a group of 12 to celebrate a birthday and were really disappointed with how the experience started. Even though the place was practically empty, they wouldn’t allow us to split into different lanes for axe throwing. Instead, they expected all 12 of us to use just one lane, which made the activity feel crowded, slow, and not as enjoyable as it could have been. We decided on darts instead. The food itself was okay, nothing to rave about. The highlight was definitely the Labubu Dubai chocolate, super tasty, rich, and unique, but definitely on the pricey side.

This is such a neat place for eating out and hanging with family and friends. Pick your type of food, order through the app and they will bring to you table, including beverages. They have American, Italian, Korean, Indonesian, Mexican, Crepes and coffee, and more to choose from. There is a brewery and small store inside, from local artists. Love the DJ in back and the mix of music, very upbeat, makes a great experience. I would definitely recommend, I will visiting again.

Love this place in Fort Lauderdale!!! A Perfect place to eat with a large group. Everyone can order and pay through the app. Makes it very easy specially if you are with a large group. We had the Tacos (SIMPLY AMAZING!!) The chips & Guac totally on point. The Elotes were one of the best we have had. For desert we had a crepe brownie. There is Plenty of seating inside & Outside. There are arcade games for kids to keep busy. Overall would recommend Sistrunk for great food, atmosphere & value. A true hidden gem in the heart of downtown Ft Lauderdale!

Sept 2025 Visited for the first time to celebrate my friend's birthday. The food and show were great, however...... imagine spending the time to go down the long list of tables, you look at the map, you choose the perfect $28 table, then you get there and they put you at the wrong table $23 - way in the back! I addressed it with a hostess and she looked and found my reservation which clearly shows the table that I paid for. However they had a large party already seated at the table I reserved (they joined two tables together), so they offered to seat us at a more expensive table and we would have to pay the difference - no, I want the table I paid for. So the hostess asked the people at the neighboring table to move. We still were not seated at the table we paid for (that had a clear view of the stage) instead we were seated at a table with an obstructed view - and the table they moved the others from was not cleaned before we were seated. What's the point of having the guests reserve a table if you're going to seat them wherever you want? The back and forth about the table started our experience off terribly, then to be stuck behind a pole - ugh! The hostess offered to comp a dessert for us but she instead comped a cheaper item that we ordered (they just can't seem to get it right). The food was all very good - would return for the food. Our server, Andre, was very attentive. The tables are very close together, so be prepared to have butts in your face. Now that I've seen the show (very good), I would return just for the food and be seated in a separate area - hopefully that seating isn't cramped. They include an 18% tip on your bill - there were 3 of us at the table. Parking is valet only for $8. The entrance is at the front of the restaurant on US1, but the driveway is hard to find and looks like a walkway (they should add an entrance sign). I should've known the service was going to be questionable when I pulled up to the valet and none of the five guys approached my car to open the door. Four of them were sitting on the curb on their phones while one was standing. I got out of my car and the one standing walked away from me towards one who was sitting to give him the ticket to give to me, but the guy he approached was so caught up in his phone that he didn't even see the guy handing him the ticket. By this time, I was already standing next to him so he just handed the ticket to me. Every restaurant I've ever gone to that offers valet, the valet approaches your door, at minimum, and opens it for you. For $8 to valet, they need to step up the service. For that service, I could've parked my own car.

I hadn’t been to Mai-Kai in years, and this was my first visit since they reopened — it did not disappoint! The show was absolutely amazing, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was beautiful. The service was also excellent; everyone was so attentive and welcoming. I went for my 37th birthday with family and friends, and we all had a wonderful time. My 5-year-old son especially loved the show, exploring the garden, and his favorite part — the volcano dessert! It was such a fun and memorable experience overall. So happy to see this iconic place back and better than ever! 🌺✨

Our server was very attentive and very helpful when it came to deciding on what to eat. I was a bit nervous since some of the reviews said that the price to food ratio was off. Although the appetizers were a bit lack luster, the size was small and the temperature was more on the cooler side. The entrees were fantastic flavor and portion wise. I am very happy with the food service and show provided. The restaurant is unique with its theme and surprisingly very educational with the show.

We had an amazing dinner at Mai-Kai! The atmosphere is truly one-of-a-kind — lush, tropical, and full of classic Polynesian charm. The food was excellent, full of flavor and beautifully presented, and our server Sam made the evening even better. Although we didn’t stay for the show this time, the dining experience alone was well worth the visit. A perfect spot for a memorable night out and a hint of Halloween charm. 🌺🍹✨

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This is hands down THE BEST tiki restaurant and bar in the US. You’ll do yourself a disservice if you don’t order the tuna crispy rice and the gyoza. Yum! The staff makes the experience a 6 out of 5. Hannah, Rachel, and Chelsea served us at the bar and had the best recommendations for cocktails! Autumn and Gilbert were both incredible and attentive servers! We’ve been back 3 times already and don’t intend to slow down.

I had such an amazing time at the MAI-KAI Restaurant and Polynesian Show! I absolutely loved everything about it. The show was incredible, they brought the true spirit of the Polynesian islands to life through traditional dance, music, and fire performances. My favorite parts were definitely the Haka and the Hula. Honestly, the show was so entertaining that it completely stole the spotlight, but the food was also great. I ordered the shrimp noodles and they were delicious! The drinks are on the sweeter side, which I personally love, and they fit perfectly with the tropical vibe. The entire staff was super friendly and welcoming. We were served by Agatha, and she was simply perfect, attentive, kind, and made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a fun and unique night out, this is the place to go.

I came here for my birthday celebration. The atmosphere was great, service was great. Our waitress was Lucy, she was wonderful. the food was pretty good. The show is the best part. A bit overpriced for the food portions in my opinion. Overall great experience!

I went to see the Pan American Artistic Swimming Championships on August 13, 2023, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the new swimming pool facility – it’s a fantastic addition. However, I must admit that the parking fees feel a bit too expensive. It would be wonderful if there could be some adjustment in that aspect.

Went for the ribbon cutting ceremony at the ishof, it was pretty spectacular with a diving show at the new tallest diving tower in the western hemisphere, met Greg louganis, Donna deverona and Cullen jones...very cool time...

Fun place to spend some time... Esp if you're a swim fan. Amazing photos, old suits, trophies, videos and more. Olympic pool.. Kids swim practice was going on. Nice gift shop.

Nice facility. Very friendly staff. Extremely clean. Only real pit fall is the lack of parking for a large event and the high price of parking in the surrounding area. They should be proud of there facility.

So excited to see the finished pool and have a chance to compete in it again! Lots of great memories from the older pool but very excited to make some new ones in this new state of the art facility in 2023!

A little more shade would be nice but the facility overall is quite good and the concession stand bottled water is cheaper than the water you buy at the local hotels.

It seems every other time we go to lane swim during normal opening hours, it’s closed for a special event. Annoying and a time waster!!! We check the website, there’s no warning. They need to do a better job when they change regular swm times.

I don’t know much about military aviation, but this place was such a hidden gem! We had to kill time before checking into a Ft. Lauderdale hotel and took an uber to the museum! It’s tucked behind the airport, but packed with amazing artifacts! A volunteer gave us a great informative tour! Place is small but we spent about an hour there! They are only open on the weekends, and no admission fee but do suggest a cash donation of your choice.

Had an excellent time! Our tour guide (I apologize for not remembering his name, I'm bad at that), was amazing. It is free of charge. I will encourage buying aomething at their store or donating. Lots of history, stories, pictures, airplane and ship models, and pictures. It will take around 30-40 minutes.

A small museum that packs a big punch. GREAT volunteer docents . Do yourself a favor and take a tour with a volunteer, versus a self led tour,you'll get so much more out of the experience. Many interesting stories have roots here ! Flight 19, George H. Bush flight training, and more...

Had a great time. The museum is small but full of history. The volunteers are really lovely. The one who showed us round , Chris , was great , extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The information we received was easy to understand. We loved it and would highly recommend if you have a spare hour or so.

If you’re in the area, you absolutely must visit the Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale Museum! Our entire family, including the kids, had an amazing time exploring the exhibits. The museum is engaging, well-organized, and full of fascinating history. It was a very pleasant experience, educational and fun for all ages. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the neighborhood — definitely worth a stop!

I love this place. A senior lady who used to work as a commercial pilot gave us a wonderful tour. They take such good care of the items in the museum. It really shows a community of pilots and people into Naval History. We had such a wonderful time in this small museum filled with rich history.

The original Wharf opened on the Miami River. It was such a success that a sister location opened on Las Olas on the New River in 2019. There is limited metered street parking around The Wharf and two city garages a couple of blocks away. They also offer valet. I always wanted to try the Wharf and now I can say I have. The Wharf is an event space with food trucks and four bars. They hold a lot of fun events with corresponding drink specials. On the night I was there it was Wharf around the World. They had different drink stands set up representing different countries. If you got a stamp from each country they gave you a T-shirt. I had a tasty and affordable pain killer from the Caribbean pop up. They also had entertainment like Taiko drummers and a French mime. On the night I was there it was one of the final Heat games. There was a huge screen set up at the bar and it was really packed with people. By the time I left you couldn't walk anywhere. Which leads me to my gripe with them. There is plenty of attractive and comfortable seating in the middle of the venue but it is all reserved. Hardly any of it was being used and I was cast off to the edge by the fence. I wish they had more unreserved seating. On the plus side, even though it was extremely crowded the restroom I used was clean. While I liked the entertainment and drink and food specials the seating was uncomfortable and being packed in with a bunch of younger drunk people while sober (I was the driver) was not fun. It is a great concept but next time I would try coming back in the afternoon. At least now I know what I have been missing.

The Wharf – Great Location, But Missing Character The Wharf in Fort Lauderdale is in a prime location—right on the river with beautiful views of the Intracoastal. On paper, it has all the elements to be something magical. But in reality, it feels like your typical American bar, and unfortunately, it lacks character. The space is huge—almost too big for its own good. Even on busy days, it somehow feels empty and a bit impersonal. The drinks are just okay, and the food trucks, while convenient, don’t offer anything particularly memorable. That said, the view alone makes it worth a visit, especially for out-of-towners. I live in the area and just go for a stop And go drink. It’s a fun stop for a casual drink, but don’t expect anything intimate or unique.

Lots of fun great place to bring the kids or for an adult night out. Food stands, games music a great bar over looking the water

We had an excellent time at The Wharff Fort Lauderdale. The location on Las Olas gives it a lively, open-air vibe that immediately puts you in a good mood. The food-truck selection is a standout: creative bites, casual comfort, and plenty of variety. The drink menu is solid, with well-made cocktails and plenty of bar action. Service was friendly and efficient, even when the space got busy. If you’re looking for something intimate or low-key, you might want to visit early in the evening or on a less busy night. Great to come with a group of friends.

Such a fun and enjoyable place to hang out during the day or at night. Lots of good specials and theme nights. Anna is the best bartender in the whole place, she’s so friendly and welcoming and brings the fun and energy even on a slow night. Highly recommend going to the wharf and even more so going and getting a drink from Anna.

Great place to watch games with your friends. Visiting for the Cricket world cup match between India Pakistan. I had to register ahead of time for entry. The place was packed. The drinks were great. They also had buffet for the VIP area. It's an outdoor place and they had food trucks serving foods. They had table tennis table. The place is well maintained and good setting for watching sports with screens all around. The staff were friendly and quick to refill drinks. The place was well maintained and clean. We had a lot of fun watching the game. The food trucks were okay but satisfying. Definitely will visit again.

Friendly dive of a local brewery (old-school and okay with it). 🐊🦌 Great variety of beers, with German range plus at least four IPAs. Samplers are a good idea to start.

Right by the train tracks and crowd were not too bad on a Friday night. They have a small parking lot and street parking all around by PayByPhone. They don’t serve food but there’s one food truck stationed outside. The selection of beers and variety of styles makes it stand out compared to many breweries. They make their own bourbon (haven’t tried yet), mocktails ($10 is a bit much), cocktails, lagers, sours, IPA, stout, wine, in other words… they got something for everyone. Bartenders were friendly and attentive, music volume wasn’t so loud that we couldn’t hear each other, and ambiance was chill. Def recommend!

Invasive Brewing is part craft brewery, part curiosity cabinet. Massive stainless tanks share space with shelves full of taxidermy—gators, bobcats, and birds keeping watch while you sip. The beers are solid, the vibe is laid-back, and the daily $2 martinis (5–6 PM) are a steal. Specials like IPA Monday, Sour Tuesday, and discounted to-go beer keep things fresh. Friendly staff, cool atmosphere, and plenty to look at—this is a spot you’ll remember.

Very cool and unique brewery! Stuffed animals all over, hence the name, and great location! Staff was great at pointing out other breweries in the area since we were in town for the week. Very helpful and knowledgeable on the different beers offered. Definitely will be coming back next time we are down here. Great spot and wonderful atmosphere.

The best brewery in South Florida. The have an extensive selection of beer on tap and one of the best craft German beer selections I’ve ever seen. The staff if friendly and the brewery has a comfy cozy vibe to it. Will be stopping in to get cans to go whenever I am in the area.

Update 2024: Absolutely fantastic beer - great IPAs, sours, and stouts. Highly recommend. Update 2023: Visited a month or so ago, and the beer was fantastic, perhaps better than I remembered. Tried a few of their IPAs and a sour; everything was good, even some of their lower ABV IPAs had a better flavor than their big brothers. Additionally, the food from the food truck was great, much better than it used to be. Not sure if it's the same or if they changed something, but would get food again. Original: Awesome beer! Wonderful, full-flavored hazy IPAs and a good selection of other style beers. Would definitely recommend. If you have kids, go early. If not, go when you want, and you won't be disappointed!

I am a Wildland firefighter myself and my family are trying to hit up all the Fire Museum's in Florida. This one was fantastic!! The staff were welcoming, well knowledged. We had such a great time.

Wonderfully place to learn about the history of firefighting in Ft Lauderdale

My uncle just retired fire captain for boca ration ,. I found it interesting. As a history fan of Florida . ( I grew up here ,I’m 50 years old and it’s interesting to see . I think they should have more historical districts. And photos the fire trucks where very interesting.

Disappointed. Second attempted visit, no staff, everything locked up. To be fair, it is a wonderful memorial to Fort Lauderdale's former firefighters. But as a museum ... forget it.

Fat Village is growing better each time there's an Art Walk. I've been to 3 others and this time was the best ever. The art has matured into something both Boomers and Millennials enjoy. The studios, workplaces and schools were turned into places that encouraged wandering with something happening everywhere. Much of the work was interactive, such as the large posted sheet where we all wrote one-word descriptions of ourselves. The visitors were a show in themselves. I was reminded of the "love fests" we had in the 60s; filled with original characters in all sorts of dress. We didn't care for the street food but the friendly "bars" all over were a great place to hang at and talk to friendly locals. Fat Village Center for the Arts will inspire those thinking of taking art for fun or true skills. Yes, parking is difficult but it was well worth the small effort. We all need a 'paseo' or Art Walk occasionally!

I was a vendor here for years but now just enjoy the creative atmosphere people and artwork. Event is the last Saturday of every month all the studios open their doors.

I went with a friend and to realize that there are so many different art forms in the area that will do real art that you can afford and enjoy, participate, and learn from different artists young and old. The people and the food, new places to hang out and meet new people from all over the world.

Great green space across from Las Olas area beach. Has several chairs in the shade of the palm trees combined with a never-ending breeze made for a very relaxing time. Bathrooms on site, green area for sports or festivals.

This place was cute. We got so hot from walking around along the beach. We stopped here and played in the splash pad. The water skipped and turned into Mist and it was cool. The unfortunate part was seeing all of the homeless people. But hopefully, the city can come up with some programs to help.

Such a good place with ocean view! I like it so much! Enough big square. Amazing Christmas tree! Only need to find place for parking. Also around many place to eat.

"Light Up Las Olas" Christmas wonderland for all....great welcoming for all Christmas extravaganzas to come. Beautiful setting and the turn out was great....fun for the old, in between, the young and young at heart...something to see, do or just relax on the green and listen to good old fashion Christmas carols played by the symphony band throughout the evening....so magical.

Such a nice facelift to the beach front. On Saturdays it comes to live with a little market other days it's a perfect spot to run around, stretch, read a book, have a picnic. Really enjoyed the Sweet&Salty empanadas with the beach view.

Unique bookstore with fun finds. Small and maybe too small for five guests at a time.

If you’re just walking by, you might not even notice this bookstore. It’s not the flashiest from the outside. But once you step in, you’ll be surprised by the amazing variety of titles they carry. They’ve absolutely nailed it when it comes to offering one of the most comprehensive collections of hard-to-find books and magazines in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Palm Beach. They have a variety of sections: from books and magazines to DVDs, toys, and more. It’s a super cool, alternative hidden gem. I was thrilled to find a copy of Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu ☺️such a treasure! Big thanks to the staff for making a space like this possible😇

Bobs books is one of my favorite hidden gems. If not for the distance, I’d be there all the time. They have a wide variety of obscure books, and a large selection of banned books. It’s here I found a treasure: Last Exit to Brooklyn - they also have trinkets and old maps, but for me, if a book is banned, that means it has to be read.

This place is so unique and eccentric. The staff (older lady with short blond hair) was very kind and considerate. I was surprised at how much stuff I could find here. There's something for everyone.

Used to go there to see and catch up on magazines and books that aren’t in regular stores but this place has changed quite a bit. Magazines and some books have been replaced with slot machines and booze which is fine if that’s what you’re interested in but for me I was disappointed. Will not be back.

Best place in the region to buy used stuff. Sunday is the best day. Free entrance (you only pay parking if you need it) and a lot of vendors. There is not a great food variety in the food court, but it is enough, you don't go to a flea market to dine out. You can get bargains if you search for this.

I’ve been here a lot when I was a young kid with my mom. Coming back here at the age of 33 brought back nostalgia and other core memories. I don’t recall there being an indoor portion, but it was nice to see the indoor part with the various food court options, vintage cars on display and small businesses on the first and second floors. It is great to see all of the shop owners working hard.

A unique experience unable to be replicated anywhere else. Only available until 2037. There should be a way to save this hidden gem. A must see before it's gone forever.

The swap shop in fort Lauderdale have a indoor and outdoor flea market that sell every thing that is affordable and reasonable prices. The swap shop is a good place to shop. I highly recommend everyone to go to the swap shop, you and family will enjoy it.

Not what I expected. Lots of stalls selling cheap clothing. The Ferrari museum was the highlight.

My boyfriend and I took a late ride with dinner around 7:30 with Captain Royal. She was the sweetest. She played great music and was very accommodating with the gondola considering there was a slight mist during our ride. She kept our beverages cold and as we ventured out on the water we had cute conversation about the history and homes along the way. Although it was quite late and dark out I actually really enjoyed the night tour. Would definitely recommend the tour and the lovely captain. It was nice to have a lady escort us!

Alex was a perfect captain and host. Very personable and knowledgeable about Fort Lauderdale and the history of the river/canals. We were a group of 4, and we enjoyed thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was a beautiful day and a great tour. We would love to do a night tour next time we are in Fort Lauderdale. I have no doubt LJ, the trainee aboard with us, will become a great captain as well. He was very attentive to learning the ropes, and a friendly addition.

Such a lovely evening! It was a great way to watch the sunset from the ocean in Ft. Lauderdale! Afterwards, we cruised the canals. They provided lots of fun information regarding the houses and businesses we passed along the way. Wyatt, the captain, and his team were kind and full of fun facts. The boat was clean and very safe. Soda and water available for purchase. Photo opportunities of you wish to purchase a souvenir. Fun activity to do with a family or for date night.

I was so nervous about parasailing, but the captain (didn’t get his name) and the attendant (Matthew I think) were both so patient and attentive! They made the experience so fun with music and comedy while on the boat. They were both so professional and make you feel safe. I would recommend this place to anyone in the Fort Lauderdale area looking to have a wonderful experience! You won’t regret it!!

What a great sunset boat ride! Being able to cool off on a ride on the ocean and take pictures of the sunset was the end to a perfect day. The tour of the canals and beautiful homes was informative and narrated by a great host. We would highly recommend this boat ride!

Great way to spend an hour and a half. I really loved the tour at the end learning about the owners of the mansions and yachts. My friend and I took our two young boys and we all had a blast!

We had a great time on the speedboat for my bachelorette. Both guys/caption accommodated our group of 23 girls and made sure we had great seats together! The captain even let me drive the boat for a quick minute. Would def recommend if looking for something to take a quick break and relax during the whole week. Def more chill and relaxing vibe

Vista Park is a quiet little park with beach access used by locals. If you want a nice relaxing place with minimal people around, this beach is perfect. Only down side is that paid parking is limited and there are no restroom facilities.

Super quiet, quaint, beautiful beach at the northern end of Fort Lauderdale Beach. You will find colorful Adirondack chairs, an area to picnic, about 12 or 14 parking spaces, including handicapped, a bike rack, shower and a great reef for snorkeling and diving! Park is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Locals love this area as it is less crowded. No lifeguards here, so as I have mentioned before, do check the online Fort Lauderdale Beach conditions. Report comes out daily around 8:00 AM and will indicate what flags are flying. Remember, purple flag means marine life, such as stinging jellyfish, may be present. Green flags indicate ideal conditions; yellow flags signify caution is needed due to waves and currents; and red flags indicate rough and possibly dangerous conditions. Use the parking app as it is much easier, and you’ll receive reminders, as I do, as I tend to overstay!!! This is a wonderful section of the beach if you want peace and quiet. It’s also a swimmer’s dream! Enjoy!

Good beach for walking and swimming, although it was cold the day we went, it's a good beach, you can enjoy it, although there are no bathrooms, it's cool.

My favorite beach park ever!!! from the moment you park, you see 6 colorful Adirondack chairs overlooking the beach and the showers. Then you walk forward and it’s always empty/dog friendly. Good kiting spot too!!

This is a hidden gem public access beach with a few parking spots that are easy to get in and out of. The waves can be extra strong out here. But that is not going to stop the little ones from jumping into the ocean. No public access bathrooms at this beach access. There is a water hose to rinse off your sandy feet.

Donna and Carl were amazing, we had such a fun time on their ORIGINAL tiki boat. Their attention to detail is unmatched and they made the whole experience so special. Such a fun time- super highly recommend!

What a great experience! Carl and Donna were wonderful and told us some interesting information about the homes along the river and the river’s history. The rain was off and on during the day and Donna was flexible with our time slot and changed it so we had perfect weather for our cruise. We stopped to feed some very lively fish at a popular restaurant along the way. The kids loved it! We had our cocktails and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. I would definitely recommend this experience.

Where do I start? The tiki hut is just darling clean safe fun music available ice chest Captain Carl and First Officer Deb are amazing. We had such a great time tour in Fort Lauderdale. The Riviera of the south Florida. You gotta check it out. We did.

SO much fun!!! Captains were knowledgeable about the area which added to the experience. They were SO accommodating to our group of 4 ladies. Would HIGHLY recommend Cruisin Tikis to anyone visiting Ft Launderdale. Great way to see the area by water and have FUN while you're at it! You HAVE to book with them if you're visiting the area! Worth every penny!

Captain Angel is a great host and captain. We had a great 2-hour cruise seeing all the sights and learning all the fun insider facts about area. As a host he kept the music up and made sure we had what we needed to have fun. He found a great spot for swimming without so many people. Right on time and very friendly. Highly recommend it!

For an outfit advertised as a design center, it reads moreso as a confusing office park with an identity crisis. The entrance is via a complex vehicular intersection; the approach features a parking toll booth and parking signs that make you worry you're going to get a ticket or your car towed. The entrance is similarly confusing and doesn't insist upon itself. The complex doesn't even have a parking garage, instead relying on an inordinate amount of vehicular surface parking, and that corrupts would could have been a more holistic, dynamic, and beautiful site plan that would have made walking pleasant. The structure looks mostly like a standard Floridian office building, and while nicer on the inside, it feels like a mall! It's a building with a mash of non-cohesive land uses and architectural forms that make navigating or inhabiting it perplexing, even as it has beautiful architectural and interior design moments. An art & design center should be connected, integrated, and embracing its community; instead, the DCOTA is hard to get to, disincentivizes multi-modal transit for its local community to and on-site, and presents siloed, exclusive venues that confuses visitors.

If you are a local or a Taurus that is into interior design at this place is a must see. It has several floors of showrooms that are open to the public and have pieces that are also for sale. I'm definitely going to take another trip.

What a magical place. It’s like IKEA for rich people. Walking through the showrooms is wonderfully imaginative and the high quality products seems like you’re in a mansion of your own with 1,000 rooms. There is a cafe there I plan on going back to. And unfortunately it is only open from monday through friday 9-5.

I love this place. I could do great cultural activities here, the place is perfect for bringing people. Great parking lot and space.

The best 50 year birthday party I could have asked for. Great well thought out trip with packed nature information along the way. The dolphins followed us for so long we were an hour late for lunch in Cabbage Key! The beautiful creatures were the best part of my birthday. All my guest got incredible videos. I want to go again soon. Swimming at Cayo Costa was also a wonderful highlight to our day. Highly recommended tons of fun!

Had a great time. New to SWFL and learned a lot thanks to the ride. I recommend the trip to anyone that is visiting or living here. You get to see the area from a whole new perspective. Great price too. I wish I had photos while on the boat, but my battery died and this was all I could get. You won't be sorry.

I had a great time learning about Old Fort Lauderdale. The tour guide was really friendly and very informative. We even struck a conversation, they gave us a discount because we were so interested. You could tell they love their job and treat you with great respect. Overall, you feel welcomed and it's not expensive to do the tour. It was a great experience to learn about the last colonized part of the US.

Pricey, for a little bit of history. We could have paid an extra 5 bucks per person for a guided tour! Which is way more than I would pay anywhere. While I enjoyed looking around and the staff was nice, I felt the big price made it not as enjoyable as it could have been.

Had a lovely visit today to the Historical Society Museum. The Museum is well organized and interesting. Don't miss the art studios on the 3rd floor!
