Tea house
The Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea House, also known as the Taj Mahal Tea House, is a charming tea cafe located in Bandra. Housed in an old Parsi bungalow, this cozy spot offers a delightful selection of Indian tea blends and delectable light snacks. The high tea menu features both vegetarian and non-vegetarian set platters with options like samosas, cutlets, wraps, scones, puffs, tarts, and sandwiches.
Recently visited Brook Bond Taj Mahal tea house. lts nestled in quiet street of Bandra and once you reach this place it takes you by surprise. Such a dainty, dreamy looking place that you don't want to leave it unexplored! I went to every nook and corner and it was nostalgic with a beautiful collection of cups, vases, pots, musical instruments, vintage furniture that it takes you down the memory lane. It's an old bungalow turned into a cafe that showcases traditional settings. To top it off the selection of teas was mind boggling. I tried a kahwa and mawa cake that was so rich but light and fresh. The staff was good and everything seemed just right for the evening! Loved it and will revisit. High 5:))

A Charming Tea Experience at Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea Lounge ☕ We stumbled upon this quaint little spot for a casual catch-up with friends, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. The place exudes warmth, making it perfect for long conversations over tea. The menu is surprisingly extensive, offering a contemporary twist on classics—think paneer-stuffed samosas! Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are well represented, along with beautifully curated tea platters that pair perfectly with the food. With such a wide variety of teas to explore, one visit just isn’t enough. Looking forward to coming back to sample more! A must-visit for tea lovers and food enthusiasts alike.

Tucked away in a charming old bungalow in the Reclamation area of Bandra, this tea house is a haven for those seeking a tranquil and authentic tea experience. The ambience is nothing short of perfect – cozy, intimate, and steeped in warmth. The moment you step inside, you'll feel enveloped in a sense of serenity. The tea menu is staggering, boasting an impressive array of options that cater to every taste and preference. Milk tea enthusiasts will be in heaven, with an unparalleled selection to choose from. Last winter they had a carrot cheese milk tea flavour , was my favourite . While the food looks appealing, unfortunately, it falls short in terms of moisture and flavor. Most dishes I tried were dry , but not in edible . On the plus side, the tea house offers convenient valet parking on site. However, be aware that the road leading to the bungalow may be inaccessible due to ongoing construction work, as was the case during my visit. A delightful surprise is the small loose tea shop nestled inside, which is a treasure trove of artisanal teas. The staff here are knowledgeable and experienced, happy to guide you through the various options.

Taj Mahal Tea House is an exquisite place for any tea connoisseur. It offers a variety of tea ranging from light brews of oriental teas and herbal teas to rich desi masala chai. I've been there a lot of time and now this has become my go to place. I'm a big fan of their Jasmine rose tea. Paired with bun maska, it's a fantastic combination. I recently tried chocolate Extravenza, a very interesting dessert with layers of hazelnut and dark chocolate. Honestly amazing. Other than that I'd say the paneer sandwich was good, the chicken sandwich too. Overall it's an amazing place to hang out with your friends or family or a first date place. It has a really regal vibe but also quite chic and modern. The service is fast and quite prompt. Good place✌🏻
Sonal C — Google review
Honestly they need to take their staff out for Tea or Coffee more often to learn a bit more about hospitality. I've been happy to host a round table discussion here previously and found the service at the table attentive. Over the last 2 visits, seen standards drop drastically. Came by at around 4pm today and there wasn't a crowd by any standards. Servers walked right by my table multiple times, least bothered to offer a menu or a glass of water with the escalating heat. What took the cake is when my business associate walked in suited how they rushed to open the door and then the service kicked in. I am the customer who doesn't complain. I just don't come back.
R F — Google review
A place to visit when you need to experience the calm and charm of a tea house, when you don’t want a Starbucks. The staff were attentive and happy to talk through the extensive selection of teas. Hot snacks are not a big part of the menu and are, for the western taste, a little salty. Price is certainly more than on the street but, you get so much from the atmosphere and is worthwhile.
Nigel M — Google review
Located in a Bandra bylane, this place has an old world charm. The menu is on the expensive side, but the experience is absolutely worth the visit. The Parsi mint tea is the highlight of the teas section. As we were in a large group we tried the food platter which was a good decision; it consisted of many unique bite-sized takes on common food items. A must-try. However this place is not pulling in the crowds, management must review their location strategy. This could be a crowd puller in the right location.
Pranab S — Google review
This place was a beautiful space for me once upon the time… when it was less popular and the staff actually cared about the patrons. Today, I decided to visit for a solo lunch, found it nearly empty. I waited to be seated but there was nobody there. So I walked around and found a quiet table for two. Two staff members or servers noticed me do that. I sat for a full 5 minutes and then walked out of there after being ignored and overlooked by the staff around me. Not a glass of water (especially in this summer!) and not a menu card was to be seen. They looked right through me, and I was completely put off. The ambiance the decor or the music made no difference when the service is this mediocre! Sorry state, please do better!!!

Restaurant
Sea Lounge is a sophisticated hotel lounge with stunning ocean views, adorned with art deco elements and offering a blend of British and Indian cuisine, including traditional afternoon tea. The menu features an array of exquisite coffees from various regions, such as the Ethiopian Sidamo with hints of chocolate and lemon peel, the bold Aged Malabar Monsoon with nutmeg and cedar flavors, and the exclusive Jamaican Blue Mountain.
Classic and ethereal experience. The buffet was lip smacking, vast and severely indulgent. The view was the icing on the cake. Abhinav from their staff recommended a foamy thick cold coffee and it was delicious. They were even kind enough to parcel a cold coffee for me. Smiling, sweet servers and an atmosphere that took you back in time. It was a hearty and heartening experience.

I I love the service given by the staff, food and atmosphere. I love to celebrate my birthday all alone every year in this place. I had an absolutely delightful experience at Sea Lounge, The Taj Mahal Palace. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience timeless luxury with genuine hospitality. All alone or with your family you would love the vibe and foods.

5/5 stars I was there for dinner with my family but Shamiana offers buffet on weekend, there is no ala-carte option in shamiana on weekend so we headed towards sea lounge. The Sea Lounge at Taj Mahal Palace was truly an unforgettable experience, this lounge offers stunning views of the Gateway of India and the Arabian Sea. The ambiance is elegant and sophisticated, with plush seating, rich decor, and a warm atmosphere that makes you feel like royalty. The highlight of my visit was the breathtaking view of the sea and the Gateway of India. Sipping on a cup of hot chocolate while gazing out at the vast expanse of the Arabian Sea was a truly rejuvenating experience. The lounge's sprawling windows and beautifully designed interior make it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The service at The Sea Lounge was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who catered to our every need. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. The food and beverages were delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our brunch. We tried too many things there like hot chocolate, cold coffee, samosa chaat, pani puri and many more. And their pani puri and samosa chaat is highly recommended. What impressed me most was the attention to detail and the luxurious feel of the lounge. From the beautifully crafted furniture to the impeccable service, everything screamed luxury and sophistication. Overall, The Sea Lounge at Taj Mahal Palace is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a luxurious experience in Mumbai. Whether you're looking to relax, unwind, or simply enjoy a delicious meal with a stunning view, this lounge is the perfect spot. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mumbai!"

Lovely place in Taj. Loved the ambience and food. Staff is courteous. We went for lunch on a Saturday. At around 1 pm. We did not get table near the window which provides great views of the Arabian Sea and the gateway of India. Highly recommended.

The best breakfast buffet I ever had. Staff was very helpful and attentive, even cheff greeted us at the last. They had lots of variety with great quality. And also the view 🙂 Sea view breakfast ✨

Grand 😍 Luxurious 🥰 Magnanimous ❤ Best in class hospitality. 👌 The ambience was excellent 💯 Prior reservation is advised. The staff is courteous and helpful. The only feedback is that variety for vegetarians can be improved. Once in a lifetime experience😍

My first visit to the iconic Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai was AMAZING🤍🙈 We seated away from the picturesque windows..we were later moved to a better spot..which was a thoughtful gesture🥰 the chaat platter they served was quite decent😋 Overall the place is GOOD❤️ I enjoyed😊🫡 (HIGH TEA TIME AT SEA LOUNGE TAJ MAHAL PALACE MUMBAI🥰💙)

The place did almost live up to expectations. The food was awesome - the salmon, lamb crab cakes were spot on, as was the Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. While Jaison John was incredible, the service overall could do a bit better with co-ordination. And the view of Gateway and the sea makes up for everything.

Fine dining restaurant
Gallops Restaurant offers a romantic alfresco dining experience with enchanting fairy lights and stunning views of the race course, making it an ideal spot for a special date night. The restaurant's charming ambiance, complete with glittering chandeliers, creates a luxurious setting under the night sky. Located within the lush surroundings of Mahalaxmi racecourse, Gallops exudes old-world charm with its heavy furniture and iron chandeliers.
We visited for dinner on a week day after having booked a table, the location and decor was amazing. The service was great and food was excellent. I would recommend their mutton kebabs as must try. Their cocktails and mocktails are also good The menu card the decor, and even the table lamp will give you equestrian wibes. Overall, a great dining experience well worth the slightly stiff prices.

Stepping into Gallops was an incredible experience, instantly transporting me back to cherished memories of visits with my dad. After years of not being able to go, seeing their social media truly inspired me to return. However food wasn't as I expected seeing on Instagram, but no complaints. And yes definitely pinterest worthy ! Will definitely love to go back for more. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the breathtaking location and stunning interiors. It genuinely feels like a step back in time, and it's simply amazing to find such a timeless, charming oasis right here in the middle of Mumbai. The vibe is just perfect. Highly recommend!

North Indian restaurant
Taftoon offers an elegant space with warm wooden accents, serving Lucknowi, Kashmiri, and other North Indian fare. The restaurant brings the flavors of Kashmir, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan to its cuisine. It is known for its cleverly crafted cocktails that complement the food menu perfectly. The Galouti Kebab is a standout dish that practically melts in your mouth.
I just had the most amazing dining experience at Taftoon! 🤩 The ambience was so lovely, and the spread of Kashmiri and North Indian dishes was incredible. They started with a Kashmiri drink and end with a delicious dessert. Great spread of indian appetizers and blend of Norrh Indian Lucknowi cusine with a modern twist. The mushroom starter was spectacular. Everything tasted so authentic! The customer service was top-notch too – so attentive and friendly. The restaurant manager was kind enough to whip up an expresso martini on request. I'm definitely going back for more indian food soon! #KashmiriFood #Lucknowi #NorthIndianCuisine #GoodEats #Foodie #Taftoon

I visited Taftoon restaurant with my husband and our one year old baby for lunch. I really liked the location and the ambience. I ordered the vegetarian biryani and honestly didn’t expect it to be so unique and delicious. After meals mouth freshener was delicious. The only thing missing was a baby feeding chair which made it a bit difficult as my little one kept moving around and I couldn’t eat peacefully. Otherwise, everything was great and I’d love to visit again.

Decent ambience. Good food. Excellent service. Patthar Chicken Kebab was very finely cooked. Taftoon Nan and Lal Naan were tasty. The star dish was Murg Mussalam with its chicken cooked to perfection and adorned with nuts. Portions were decent and Pocket friendly too!

Taftoon offers a cozy yet upscale dining experience with its focus on delicious, authentic Indian flavors. The menu features a great variety of traditional dishes with a modern twist, and the food is consistently flavorful. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The service is attentive, making it a lovely spot to enjoy rich Indian cuisine in a comfortable setting.
Aarti N — Google review
Taftoon offers an experience, though it's on the pricier side. The food is excellent, with every dish thoughtfully prepared. The non-vegetarian options, in particular were outstanding and truly shine. If you're looking to splurge on a fantastic meal, especially if you're a foodie, this is the place.
Nishant Y — Google review
Visited Taftoon, BKC recently and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. They have valet parking, which makes it convenient, and the hospitality is top-notch. You’re welcomed with a complimentary kahwa that sets the tone perfectly. We tried the Patthar ke Kabab and Kandhari Koobideh for starters—both were absolutely lip-smacking, with melt-in-the-mouth texture, balanced spices, and rich flavors. For mains, we went with the Safed Gosht ki Biryani, which was so unique compared to the usual biryanis we’re used to, and it did not disappoint one bit. Ended the meal with jalebi with rabri, which was the perfect sweet finish. I also tried a cocktail called Bunny Treat—fun and refreshing. Special mention to Javed, who attended to us. He was warm, knowledgeable, and recommended the best dishes, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, Taftoon is a place I’d happily return to—excellent food, incredible service, and a memorable dining experience.
Aditi D — Google review
PSA: If you are catching up with friends after a long while, then avoid this restaurant because the service folks are more keen on changing your plates and hovering on the table even after asking for 5mins to place an order. We went to Taftoon BKC as it was recommend by few friends for good food. The food was good, portion size just adequate to be honest. We ordered 3 small plates and each of them were in portion of 3 pieces. A bit pricey, that’s not the issue. The issue was the experience, the server was in hurry to change plates right at the last bite. No breather. The person who was taking orders, was literally hovering asking what we want order. It wasn’t even a packed place that night. Some may argue that they were ensuring we order food, but if informed that we need time, that should have been noted. That night it had few vacant tables and no one queuing up outside, so why this hurry, we didn’t know. We were planning to stay longer but this experience left a bitter taste. We ordered main course and just when it ended, plates were taken off in seconds and cleansing tissue was given and now the person taking order didn’t hover to check for desserts. Strange considering earlier he was literally chasing us to place order. Also, noticed preferential behaviour, not every table was being chased like ours. If the management has issues with friends catching up at the restaurant they might have added that along with message they sent right after booking which stated when children are allowed at their restaurant. Overall wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat at peace and is catching up with fronds after a while because your conversation will be disturbed. Literally left a bitter taste.

Yauatcha Mumbai is an upscale Chinese restaurant and dim sum teahouse that offers set meals and a la carte options. It is a favorite among celebrities and is known for its luxurious dining experience.
I don’t even know where to begin with my experience at Yauatcha—it was truly exceptional. I had booked a table for 13 over the phone, and upon arrival, we were seated at a fantastic table. The restaurant itself was stunning, with an elegant ambiance that set the perfect mood for our gathering. The service was outstanding from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond—guiding both kids and adults to the lift with care. Mr. Hanif and Mr. Solkar provided impeccable service, ensuring that my family was comfortable and happy throughout the meal. Towards the end, Mr. Sachin personally checked in on us and even surprised us with a complimentary chocolate dessert, which was such a thoughtful gesture. (The aunty in the restroom was also super adorable) As for the food, every dish was phenomenal. There wasn’t a single plate that disappointed. The precision and thoughtfulness behind each menu item were evident, making every bite a delight. I’m beyond impressed with Yauatcha and will definitely be returning—not just for the beautifully presented dishes, but for the incredible service and overall experience. Highly recommended!
Monica’s T — Google review
Yauatcha is undoubtedly a fantastic fine dining experience! The ambiance is chic and modern, perfect for a classy night out or a special occasion. The food is exceptional, with a wide variety of dim sums, desserts, and other Cantonese dishes that are beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The service is impeccable, with attentive staff who make you feel well taken care of. That said, it’s definitely on the pricier side, so it’s more of a treat yourself kind of place. If you’re looking to elevate your experience, I highly recommend trying their sake, it pairs wonderfully with the food and adds an extra layer of sophistication to the meal. Overall, Yauatcha is a must visit for anyone who appreciates great food and a luxurious dining experience, but be prepared for a splurge!

If you are fond of Oriental Cuisine then YAUATCHA is a place for you in BKC It sets perfect cheerful mood as it’s in BKC , slightly away from hustle and bustle of Mumbai yet vibrant. Booking through Swiggy gives you discount as well as alerts. Atmosphere inside Yauatcha is great. Light music and Smily staff guides you till you are seated. A la carte & other options available , you can choose as per number of people dining. Food is amazing in taste and don’t forget to try different varieties of Desserts.

“Heaven in every bite — silky, tangy, and pure perfection. 5/5!” • “If love had a flavor, it would taste like this Raspberry Delice. 🌸⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️” “Perfectly crafted dumplings — tender wrappers, flavorful fillings, and that satisfying burst of warmth with every bite. Comfort food elevated to 5-star perfection.”
Kajal C — Google review
Came here in January and utterly disgusted and disappointed with a high end restaurant chain such as this one that would pay for fake reviews. Scroll through all the google reviews for this place by date and you will see how frequently within a short period of time there are reviews by people who have never eaten here. Someone in the management is paying to have good reviews posted for this place because Yatchua is losing ground to other new restaurants. Very disappointing. With respect for the food, I came here with a friend and the sweet corn chicken soup was terrible. Had no flavor. Dumplings were okay but having 3 pieces for each type of dumpling makes no sense when you are most likely to have either 2 or 4 people at a table. Nothing great about this place. Overhyped and they haven't taken the effort to make any improvements since the time they first opened. I'll attach my receipt to prove that I ate here.
Akshay G — Google review
One of the best places for Asian food in Bandra. It never disappoints. The dim sums were too good

The food was simple yet bursting with flavor. I enjoyed crispy prawn cheung fun, Shitake Mushroom Dim sum, poached peking dumplings, and finally the pork and prawn fried rice. The prawns were flavorful and the tempura batter added a delightful crunch. The mushroom dim sum and poached peking dumplings were decent, while the pork and shrimp fried rice stood out with its smoky flavor.. Overall my experience was good. Food - 7 Ambience - 8 Service / Staff - 10

The Atrium Bar & Lounge is an elegantly adorned space within a luxurious hotel, offering stunning views of the sea. It boasts an extensive selection of whiskeys and classic cocktails, making it a haven for connoisseurs. Whether you prefer cappuccinos or malts, this lounge provides a relaxing atmosphere to savor your drink while witnessing the charming seascape at sunset. Guests have praised the attentive service and delicious bar snacks, making their experience extra special.
The Atrium Bar & Lounge at Taj Lands End is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of Bandra. From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed by an impeccable ambience — a perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and sophistication. The floor-to-ceiling windows and serene sea views add a refreshing openness to the space, making it an ideal spot for both casual evenings and special occasions. The food is equally impressive — beautifully presented and full of flavor. Whether you’re indulging in light bites or a full meal, the quality and attention to detail are consistent throughout. The drinks menu is well-curated, offering a range of classic cocktails, premium spirits, and innovative concoctions that are crafted to perfection by the skilled bartenders. The service is exactly what you’d expect from the Taj — warm, attentive, and unobtrusive. Whether you’re meeting friends or winding down after a long day, the Atrium offers a luxurious yet relaxed experience that’s hard to match in the city. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food and drinks in a stunning, tranquil setting.

I visited Taj on February 14th and booked a sea-facing suite room for one day. The experience was extremely disappointing. Not only was no one there to pick up our luggage on arrival, but the food was also far below expectations. We ordered a pizza that was completely burnt—probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had. On top of that, we were given an incorrect bill calculation twice in the morning. The restaurant was so busy that I couldn’t even get a table for breakfast, and we ended up waiting for a long time. It felt like we were staying in a normal hotel rather than experiencing the five-star service we expected from Taj. We visited with the hope of enjoying top-notch service and food, but that was not what we received.

We stayed at the hotel and decided to use the Atrium lounge on a few nights as it was quiet and served drinks until 1am. The atmosphere was good; however, the service and entertainment need significant improvement. The singers were not very good, which sounds harsh, but it's the truth. The service was the main letdown. Even on quiet nights, when we were literally the only table, the service was extremely slow. One night, it took over 20 minutes to get one whiskey, and a further 35 minutes to get a refill. On the next night, it took over 30 minutes to get two English breakfast teas. However, the bill was produced with record speed—68 seconds when requested one night. On some nights, we didn't even have to request the bill; it was eagerly presented to us with the card machine 20 minutes before closing time. Even though we waited patiently for our drinks, they couldn't extend the same courtesy and let us finish those drinks before requesting payment. I didn't try the food at the Atrium lounge, so I cannot comment on that. I'd advise going to the pool bar on floor L2, where the service is much better, even though they have far fewer staff.

Very nice singers who select excellent tunes! The drinks are well made & so is the food. However, they seem understaffed and it takes a long while to get someone to come service your table!

One of the best lounge I have been to. It has wast range of spirits, and the moment enter the Taj lands end hotel you will see the open in the opposite of Reception area. Good and beverage is very expensive over there so it’s meant for higher class who are least bother about the bill at the end.

Omg So today I visited Taj Lands End,Bandra. The much awaited visit. I was super excited, for the visit. First we went to Vista, no one even bothered to ask about the order, forget a glass of water. Families who were done with their lunch, were still sitting there and screaming on top of their voice as if some wedding reception. We left the place, went to Atrium, again ,guests who were lounging there were so loud. The music was so loud. The AC was not working. No one bothered to offer a glass of water, finally we gave our order for tea and fish fingers. Water still didn't arrive. Tea came without milk and sugar. After askin three times for sugar, finally it came, but milk didn't arrive. I had the tea without milk and just came out. Didn't expect this from Taj. I'm a Taj loyalist. God if you have patience, visit, otherwise don't. Thanks.

Taj Lands End in Mumbai is a luxurious hotel located in the lively suburb of Bandra. It offers stunning sea views and is conveniently close to chic cafes, upscale restaurants, and vibrant nightclubs. The hotel provides attentive service, multiple dining options, personalized butler services, and signature experiences for kids. Guests can enjoy spa treatments, an outdoor pool with a hot tub, and a 24-hour health club.
Our experience with Kyra’s service was truly outstanding. He was professional, attentive, and handled everything with great diligence. She carefully checked our tickets for all the rooms and ensured every detail was in perfect order. From the moment we arrived, Kyra made us feel genuinely welcome. We had just moved over from the Marriott Hotel, which I’m very familiar with, yet Kyra’s warmth and attention to detail made this welcome even better. He was fantastic in every aspect of her work at the reception — efficient, polite, and always ready to help. Her outstanding service really made a difference to our stay and set a high standard for hospitality. Highly recommended and deeply appreciated.

We stayed at Taj Lands End for three nights, and I have to say it has been one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had. From the moment we checked in, everything felt welcoming and personal. Our room had a stunning sea view that we never got tired of – waking up to that view every morning was a joy. The food was consistently delicious with a great variety at every meal. What really stood out to us was the warmth of the staff. They were always smiling, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay comfortable. A special moment for us was when the Housekeeping Ambassador personally came to our room and surprised us with a beautifully arranged bouquet filled with thoughtful items and a handwritten note. It was such a sweet and unexpected gesture, and it truly made us feel special. The environment throughout the property is peaceful and relaxing, and every corner reflects the signature Taj hospitality.

We had an amazing experience at Taj Lands End which exceeded all our expectations. We stayed there in the first two weeks of September. We encountered impeccable service from all the staff, there was delectable cuisine and the staff who go above and beyond with their warm smiles. A truly memorable experience that will bring us back again soon. I have to add we enjoyed having breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and had a great time. All the staff, just to mention a few, Iltena, Rupali, Sangi, Pritam, Manay, Merwyn and many others looked after us impeccably. Thank you. It was a joy to be there. Anil and Alka Doshi

Taj Lands End isn't just a hotel; it's a quintessential Mumbai luxury experience, perfectly situated on the Bandstand promontory overlooking the majestic Arabian Sea and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. The location is truly unbeatable, offering a serene, seaside oasis while still providing rapid access to the bustling Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) and the Western Express Highway. For business travelers needing an upscale retreat near the city’s commercial heart or leisure guests exploring the charm of Bandra West, this is the definitive choice. The staff service epitomizes the Taj brand: warm, intuitive, and seamlessly efficient, from the valets to the dedicated Taj Club butlers. Even during peak hours, every request is met with grace and speed. We stayed in a Serene Infinity Sea View Room, and the panoramic vistas were worth every penny—waking up to the view of the sea link arching across the bay is simply breathtaking. The rooms are luxurious, spacious (especially the four and five-fixture marble bathrooms featuring deep tubs and separate shower cubicles), and equipped with modern amenities. While the decor leans towards classic luxury, it feels timeless and well-maintained. The dining experience is a highlight, featuring renowned restaurants like Masala Bay for fine Indian cuisine and Ming Yang for authentic Sichuan and Cantonese dishes. The outdoor pool area and the sprawling lawns that capitalize on the sea views provide a perfect escape from the city's intensity. The J Wellness Circle spa is also a must-visit for traditional treatments. Pros: Unrivaled sea views (especially from infinity rooms), impeccable Taj hospitality, prime location in Bandra near key attractions and business hubs, and exceptional fine-dining options. Cons: The price point is high (though reflective of the value).

Booked the Taj Club Room. Room 39 sqm good size and great view of the ocean. Access to club lounge was part of the room package. Lounge ambient is above average, more can be improve on the servings availability. Hotel restaurants are great. Many choices from several restaurants. Chinese, western and local dishes tasty to the stomach. Ala carte portion from the Chinese restaurant are big, each enough for 2 person. Dinner and breakfast buffet at Vista restaurant were average. Pizza was good. More varieties can be added on the buffet line. Facilities are excellent well maintained and showcase real 5 star hotel. Rabbits roaming freely around the swimming pool. Housekeeping and room servise are highly commendable. Check out process very smooth and fast. Mr. Syah, from the Vista restaurant provide very good service and hospitality. Very attentive and care for our needs throughout the stay. Taj can improve further on the check in process. It took more than 10 minutes, plus more time awaiting turns. 11am does not seems as peak check in time. Reception and Front Desk Manager could improve the way they dealt with guest to welcome them, instead of pushing away the guest which already have advance booking and already a Taj member. Short of not bringing my passport and work visa could have been handled better by referring to the record of previous stays. Instead, they are declining check in.

We had checked into Taj Lands End as a part of our anniversary celebration. We had stayed there last year during monsoons and had a wonderful experience. Hence opted for a revisit. This time too, we got a room with fantastic view of sea link. And the diya ceremony in evening was quite elaborate with Diwali around the corner. You should not miss it. We had a wonderful dinner at Ming Yang. Fantastic and enthusiastic service by Romit. But we left with a bit disappointed feeling - that this hotel is cutting corners this time. No fruit basket in the room - a standard feature we have experienced across various Taj Properties. Also during turndown, no chocolates were kept in the room. When we asked the staff, we were told one has to call guest services and ask for them. We did not bother. It looks like a cost cutting exercise undertaken by the hotel this year. It was our anniversary but no one from the staff wished us. Nor any decoration in the room. Why ask for such details in advance when you don't plan to do anything. It felt like a big let down, especially after the pampering we experienced at Tax Exotica, Maldives during our last anniversary. I hope they come out of the cost cutting mode at the expense of the customer soon and what we experiencd was a one off aberration as the property location is fantastic. Update: Taj Lands End in their comment asked me to share my contact and when they could call me. I shared but no one cared to reach out. Feeling bad that a brand like Taj has now people who just posture on social media but don't care about guests.

I had a truly wonderful experience during my recent stay at the hotel lands end , and much of the credit goes to Senior Manager Mr. Atul Chauhan and Mr. Niket. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made my visit exceptionally comfortable and enjoyable. Mr. Atul Chauhan leads by example — his calm demeanor, prompt support, and guest-first attitude reflect strong leadership. He ensured every aspect of my stay was smooth, from check-in to check-out, and was always available for any assistance needed. Mr. Niket was equally impressive with his friendly nature and proactive approach. He took personal care to make sure I felt at home and went the extra mile to accommodate my requests with a genuine smile. It’s rare to come across such dedicated professionals who truly care about guest satisfaction. Their efforts not only enhanced my experience but also left a lasting impression. A big thank you to both Mr. Chauhan and Mr. Niket for their outstanding service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay where hospitality is taken seriously.

North Indian restaurant
Nksha, situated in Churchgate, is a popular dining spot perfect for unwinding after a long day or enjoying a leisurely stroll along Marine Drive. The restaurant's inviting ambiance adds to its appeal and it is known for its fusion of Punjabi and North-Indian cuisine. Nksha offers fine dining in South Mumbai without the need for reservations. While the default food isn't spicy, patrons can request spicier options.
We headed to Nksha, on Mother's Day, for dinner. Even though we were a tad delayed as the play we had gone to ended late, they were kind enough to seat us quickly. Something i truly appreciate as i had mum with me. The Amuse Bouche was a Cheese Corn Ball with Imli chutney. So cute & so yum! The papads were complimentary. The three accompaning chutneys were Mint-Coriander, Tomato & Peanut-Saffron. That peanut-saffron chutney was banging! Truffle Mushroom Cheese Kulcha @nksharestaurant So moreish! The cheese, the chives, the truffle oil, all came through. It did need more mushrooms but other than that.. This was a superb start to our meal! If there's Galouti Kebab on the menu, rest assured, im ordering it. I cannot get enough of the silken spicy kebab, and this one was just that! These were perfect Galoutis! Pathar Ka Gosht @nksharestaurant Lightly charred, spot-on in spice, thin slices of mutton cooked to such a tender texture that you barely have to chew on it. The sirka (vinegar) onions lent tanginess to the kebab spice. Delish! We only tried these three dishes that night and all three were classic! They offered us a caramel sweet at the door, on our way out. Don't be coy and miss out on that. It's SINFULLY YUM! Their service was beyond excellent! You have to call and reserve a table. No reservation or payment via any online portal. They have two seating slots 7-7.30 pm and 9-9.30 pm. No clue about lunch slots. No complaints whatsoever about anything. Such a perfect meal!!

A luxe gem to try in SoBo. Situated right opp Churchgate Station- Nksha is an ode to Old Bombay Charm. The decor is vintage, art deco inspired and the cutlery is made from Kansa. The menu is Royal Indian featuring dishes like Nalli Nihari, Truffle mushroom naan, Highway chicken tikka and desserts like Kaju Katli foam. There are architecture inspired monsoon cocktails like “Hawa Mahal” and “ Churchgate” that I particularly enjoyed. Overall, it is a bucket-list worthy restaurant to try next time you are in SoBo. Service is also amazing and lives up to the acolades

I recently dined at this elegant restaurant and had a truly delightful experience.🫶🏼 I ordered Paneer Lababdar with Tandoori Rotis, and the flavors were absolutely spot on — rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. As a thoughtful touch, they served small kachoris as complimentary starters, which were crisp and flavorful, setting the tone for the meal beautifully.🍲 The ambiance was rich and sophisticated, with tasteful décor and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were polite and attentive, adding to the overall sense of comfort and class. Definitely a place I’d recommend for anyone looking to enjoy North Indian cuisine in a refined setting.❤️🥘

Nksha, nestled in Mumbai's culinary landscape, offers a refreshingly sophisticated take on Indian dining, a welcome departure from the overtly traditional or overly trendy. From the moment you step in, the ambiance sets a serene yet elegant tone. The decor is tastefully understated, with soft lighting and comfortable seating that creates an intimate and relaxing environment, making it perfect for both a special occasion and a casual, upscale meal. The service is attentive without being intrusive, contributing significantly to the overall pleasant experience. My visit was truly defined by the Dum Biryani, a dish often attempted but rarely perfected. At Nksha, it was a revelation. The aroma alone, a fragrant symphony of spices and basmati, promised excellence. Each grain of rice was separate, perfectly cooked, and infused with the rich, aromatic flavors. The meat, whether succulent chicken or tender mutton, melted in the mouth, slow-cooked to perfection under a sealed lid. It wasn't greasy or overly spicy; instead, it was a harmonious balance, showcasing the chef's mastery of the slow-cooking technique. This biryani was a testament to authentic flavors, making Nksha a definite must-visit for anyone seeking a refined and genuinely satisfying Indian culinary experience in Mumbai.

Absolutely loved my experience at Nksha! The food was exceptional — rich in flavor, yet light and easy to digest (IYKYK). Every dish we ordered surprised the palate in the best way. It didn’t feel like the typical North Indian fare — it was elevated, unique, and full of finesse. Special shoutout to the sugar-free kulfi — easily my favorite part of the meal! The presentation throughout was beautiful, and the attention to detail in the experience truly impressed me. Despite the restaurant being packed, the interiors are so well designed that we weren’t disturbed by any noise — a rare luxury. Mark, our server, was polite, warm, and incredibly efficient. Every dish was served hot and fresh, and even the tandoori broccoli felt like it had been crafted just for us, not reheated or rushed. It’s been a long time since I’ve fallen in love with an Indian restaurant — Nksha checks all the boxes. I can confidently say this is a place I’ll keep coming back to.

Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Chembur, The Bread Bar is a delightful all-day brunch café that embodies Chef Rachi Gupta's passion for culinary creativity. What started as a random café stop turned into a surprisingly great find! The Bread Bar Café, located in Deonar near Chembur, has clearly built a loyal following. Even in the middle of the afternoon, the place was buzzing with people. Definitely a local favorite. Their menu is full of variety—think pizzas, pastas, croissants, toast, and a whole bunch of snackable treats. But what really stood out was their seasonal mango lineup. From mango desserts to mango toast, they’ve gone all out—and it works! We tried the Korean bun, the fettuccine pesto, and capped it off with a mango gâteau. Each dish was tasty and well put together, making it a fun little food experience overall. Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite, a relaxed coffee, or a mango-filled treat, The Bread Bar Café is definitely worth checking out.

Ambience - 5 Stars Food - 1 Stars. The food's flavor is truly disappointing for eatery selections 🤢. Perhaps their bread items are adequate, but after tasting two dishes, we were completely repelled 🤮. However, the service staff are polite 🙏, and the restaurant's decor was delightful! After tasting their food I can say at this price you can definitely get better quality in terms of taste

Grilled chicken sandwich 3/5 4. Chocolate hazelnut doughnut 5/5

This is probably one of the most underrated cafes of the city. The Bread Bar in Chembur is huge, pretty and full of interesting aesthetics like this inhouse merch corner. I tried their new menu additions. This Pistachio and Raspberry Compote Slice was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, the Basque Cheesecake was perfect both taste and texture wise but my favourite was the Dark Chocolate Sponge. It had three textures, all came together so nicely. Pair it all with their coffee, I chose the Biscoff Latte. This spot is perfect for a date so check it out the next time you’re around.

A shop that provides authentic indian sweets with a modern twist to each of them. Sweets with not too much sugar. Even you get sugarless mithais. Good packaging and presentation of each piece. Overall nice place to go for giving gifts and enjoying sweets during festivals. We loved kaju-katli, truffle chocolate, mix mithai which I can remember for now..

Hotel
East India House is an upscale and serene hotel located in River North, offering an infinity pool, a refined restaurant, and morning yoga sessions. The hotel is known for its incredible food and outstanding service. Guests can enjoy the mountain view with sunsets and relax at the infinity pool. The rooms are cozy with balconies overlooking the pond and the view. While there may not be many activities available besides dining, drinking, and swimming in the pool, pottery classes and a sunset hike are offered.
East India truly turned our experience around! While we had a few concerns initially, the staff was extremely responsive and ensured that all our issues were resolved promptly and with genuine care. The property is stunning — beautifully maintained with top-notch cleanliness and impressive infrastructure. What really stood out was the hospitality. The team went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. It’s rare to see such dedication to guest satisfaction. By the end of our stay, it felt less like a hotel and more like a peaceful retreat

Staff Need to work on valuing customer time. Breakfast is delayed by almost 1 hr after their published time.Had to cancel my meetings in town. Not acceptable. Appreciating their service on other matters. They were very attentive and courteous. Rooms were new and modern. The location is fantastic and the owners are active in day to day operations.

The place is right next to a massive trash sorting factory where a lot of Bombay’s trash goes. Throughout the stay you can smell the horrible smell infact they’ve added constant air fresheners spraying the place throughout. I would not recommend this to anyone, it’s not good for one’s health. Food was good.
Vaishnavi T — Google review
Not one negative feedback to give for this place. Only one thing I would like to highlight that this place is pet friendly but then there were these pets allowed in an enclosed restaurant. Now I know not everyone who comes in is pet friendly so atleast they shouldn't allow pets inside the restaurant where people are eating. I'm highlighting this because while me and my wife were enjoying our lunch One couple came in to the restaurant with their furry cat sitting right behind our table and while eating that cat's hair just flew right in my plate which was pretty annoying to me. Other than this Everything else was simply beyond our expectations.
Flavian G — Google review
This is a good place. But conditions apply: - if u have kids - other than the pool, there isn’t any place to run around or swings etc. they will get bored if they are not into swimming. The property has some well behaved pets that the kids can enjoy though. - if you are a picky eater - the food here is pre-decided (they have ala carte too!) so if you are not very explorative when its comes to food - you wont like it much. - the rooms are small. Not tiny, but definitely not meant for more than 2 people. So if you have kids, it will be stuffy. - this is pet friendly place. I am okayish with dogs, but do not like animals near my food. But thats just me. - they do not have room service. No 24hrs service either. So if you like breakfast in bed on vacays - this is not your place. The service is good. People are warm and nice. But this is strictly a boutique hotel, and i think better suited for couples who want to spend time in the pool together.
Aayushi S — Google review
This resort exceeded all expectations! The service was outstanding, the rooms were luxurious, and the entire property was beautifully maintained. The highlight, though, was the food—every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A perfect getaway. Highly recommended!

Extremely Disappointed with the Unprofessional Service – East India House I had booked a stay at East India House on 15th July for 26th July, speaking directly to a representative named Tejas over the phone. I was quoted a steep tariff of ₹16,300, which is comparable to a 5-star property. Despite this, I proceeded and paid an advance of ₹7,500, with a confirmation received over WhatsApp. They also asked for my email to send the official booking confirmation, but no such email was ever sent. On the day of check-in, due to the lack of confirmation, I reached out via phone and WhatsApp. That’s when a series of excuses started: “the property is under maintenance,” “the AC isn’t working,” “we’ve had power outages since last night.” I asked two simple questions: 1. Why wasn't an email confirmation sent after taking the advance? 2. If there was a problem with the property, why wasn’t I informed in advance? This stay was booked for a special occasion, and I was transparent in asking them if they had double-booked or taken a higher-paying guest — just be honest. But instead of being apologetic, the manager, Shashank, was rude and dismissive, insisting it was a maintenance issue. When I said I lived nearby and could personally come and check the property, suddenly he said, “let me get back.” An hour and several ignored calls later, I received a careless message saying, “you can come.” When I called back, he spoke as though he was doing me a favour for allowing a guest who was ready to pay ₹16K. I eventually cancelled the booking. It’s disheartening, especially since I was genuinely looking forward to experiencing the place based on their social media presence. But no aesthetics or Instagram reel can compensate for the lack of basic professionalism, courtesy, and honesty — all of which are fundamental to the hospitality industry. If you're planning something special, I’d advise you to be cautious. Good customer service is non-negotiable, especially at this price point.

‘For happy times’ For humans and pets alike! 😅 We visited as an extended family, dog included. The staff felt genuinely warm, and non intrusive. The food was comfort food with set menu concept; including East Indian famous “Fugias” at tea time. The set menu helps with not having to make food choices (no energy used in food selection :). It is great for large groups. The meals have several options in the set menu; making it easier for picky eaters as well. Design and overall feel: The design is visually delightful; all spaces are intentionally crafted. Natural stone rooms, cozy balconies/ verandas, and lush landscaping blend with the surroundings. The infinity pool-with its multiple depths- makes it happy space for both adults and children. What fun! The East India House Concept: Each room is named after a community character. It’s a thoughtful, fun tribute that adds meaning to your stay. Nature and treks: The nature walk and leisure trek makes it fun. Waking up to bird calls and tranquil views is super nice. Hobbies: A break with hobbies. Perfect place to paint, do pottery, trek. I was able to do some small paintings. In short: East India House is a thoughtfully designed, pet-friendly retreat where every detail-from food to hospitality-makes for a happy family getaway. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful, and tasteful getaway.

Sancha Tea Boutique Bandra West is a tea store with an open and enclosed area, featuring soft music playing in the background. It provides privacy for dates and offers a variety of choices to purchase tea blends. The staff is wonderful, and the store setup is excellent.
Definitely my favorite tea brand and one of the cutest stores in Delhi/Bombay. I always go there to buy the Masala tea and end up picking more than 2 types of teas for myself! Their tins are amazing and the cups are adorable. Sancha offers gift boxes as well, along with customising them for occassions. Their white teas, and masala teas are must haves!

Wonderful little shop with a huge collection of well packaged and top quality Indian teas - showcases our rich heritage. Perfect for gifting with pride. Service in the shop was amazing and they brew petite samples to taste. Special mention of Catherine who had an amazing customer orientation - so rare.

If you love tea, this chain of stores is the best source for picking up a curated blend or gourmet tea. The staff is knowledgeable, sweet, and constantly brewing fresh teas for you to sample. I usually buy "President's Tea", my personal favourite. There are plenty of others to choose from and both stores that I've visited (the other one in is Fort) have left me with more information about tea.

Smart choice of location to open this shop! 😉 When the Taj Mahal Tea House didn't have vanilla masala chai to sell, I came directly here and found it. Excellent service by all the staff. They even prepared me tea to sample, how generous. Prices 375-600+ Rs. for beautiful tea tins.

It's situated in a very posh but secluded part of Bandra. 15 mins walking distance away from Pali Market. We enjoyed our walk towards Provenance. The ambiance inside provenance is quite peaceful and calm. The music was mix of Jazz and classical hits which I quite enjoyed. They have ample amount of desert, coffee and gift options. We ordered a cappuccino, keto chocolate cake and a Macaroon. The cake though dry was delicious and not too sweet which was perfect. The chocolate that they used was really good and it lingered in our palate for a while. The coffee was amazing and I believe the coffee bean that they use is of top quality. We also browsed through their great gift hampers and snacks options which is quite unique and amazing.

Never ever order a gift delivery from this place. The chocolates are first rate and awesome. But their delivery absolutely sucks so much, that the entire joy of gifting these to someone on a special occasion is completely destroyed. I ordered a delivery for a birthday for 10am to a pmace half an hour away. Despite repeated requests, the delivery update I got is that it "should" reach by 4pm! Left such a bad taste in my mouth that I will never ask for a gift delivery from them. Unacceptable! Beware!

The Queen's Deck Tea Lounge, formerly known as Tea Centre, has reopened with a new look and menu in Mumbai. The lounge offers a variety of teas from their own Darjeeling tea gardens, including fine first flushes. Visitors can enjoy the Turkish Mint Tea for a refreshing burst of mint without any bitter aftertaste. The ambience is cozy and well-lit, with beautiful interiors featuring paintings and teapots on display.
Nice place , I loved it, the ambience the set up , the lighting, the soft music... nothing less than a 5 star experience. I ordered for a stuffed chicken omelette and Darjeeling Tea pot after that....... spectacular.

Loved the space size and simplicity of the decor. An old heritage tea shop renovated with a new management. The tea was good served in an elegant white tea set. The veg club sandwich was badly grilled, with no flavour whatsoever and quite unpalatable. Wasted half. Would only recommend for teas and if one wants a quiet place to sit talk.

What we ate : Food🍛 :(Veg) 🥦 1) Truffle Parmesan Fries 🍟 (Fat finger fries, tossed in truffle oil with parmesan shreds) Needed to ask for more parmesan as the serving was quite miserly ✅ 2) Veg Lasagna 🍲 (Bland Sauce, lacked flavor, quite inedible) ❌ 3) Farm Fresh Pizza 🍕 with Veggies (Base was quite chewy, overall average) Not on the menu yet they are testing a new menu ➖ Drinks : 1) Turkish Mint Tea (Left a nice refreshing after taste (fresh minty feel)) Must Try ✅ 2) Lemon Iced Tea (Lacked flavor)❌ 📍Location: Next to Indian summer, opposite Asiatic on the main road – Churchgate Station (5/5) Very Convenient 🚖Valet Parking: Not Available. Pay and park available on both sides of the road. 🪑Seating: Adequate Seating. No need to book 💡Ambience: Emits a very nice calming effect. 🎵 : Soft background music plays 🙍Service: Can use improvement as the steward could not explain most of the dishes in detail. 💲Pricing : Offers available on Zomato Pro. Book via the app. Came to around Rs 500 per head (2pax) with iced teas. Service charge of 10% added mandatorily in the bill. ✨Overall Review✨ : (3/5) Nice quiet place to have a good conversation over a cup of tea and some starters. Main Food is avoidable

Loved it. Disappointed I didnt get scones! The rest of the menu is also exciting. Will be back soon to taste more.

Tea: I'm in love with their Turkish Mint Tea. Blast of mint in the very first sip. No bitter after taste. I tried their roasted rose tea too, didn't like it much personally. [5/5] Food: Deliciously outstanding, I tried their watermelon feta salad and pesto pasta. [Loved the pasta more - especially when you add extra cheese from top] [5/5] Ambience: Well lit & cozy which makes it premium, the moment you enter. [5/5] I loved their interiors more, the paintings and also the teapots kept in the display. Apt for: I prefer this place for a nice continental brunch Location: On the main road inside Resham Bhavan [4/5]

Suchali's Artisan Bakehouse in Nahar is a great spot to enjoy freshly baked goods and a good cup of coffee. Their sourdough bread comes highly recommended, and their croissants are always a hit with customers. The Korean bun with its delicious cream is also worth trying. While the wait time for food can be long, the quality of the food and service make it well worth it.

Had been going to this place for last couple of months . And had recommended to many others as well. This being first such outlet in the locality . But after the experience on yesterday, doubt the same will continue - 1. Pathetic billing experience and on top of that they didn’t give the bill also. Being regular , thought may be it’s okay . 2. More than regular staff but pathetic service . Food ( not to be prepared but heated and given ) didn’t turn up for 12 minutes and no intimation . Had to go down and ask and they appeared clueless . 3. No one bothered clean the table before serving finally . 4. And when leaving the person comes to me and asks me to pay for something I didn’t order . Isn’t it a cafe where first order is paid and then Served and if they are breaking that cycle at least to remember when only 5-6 odd customers can place order at a time and staff present that time is of equal number . My mistake I trusted and didn’t collect the bill .

This place is small and cozy. My brother recommended this place. Days wise manue and food is served according to that. Here I have tried lemon tart, colddrink and mini nana khatai. I also ordered coffee but they said no cup for coffee 😔. The food is good but not that much good with the hype of this place. Price affordable. Only one table for dining and two chairs for sitting. This place has both options for dine in and takeaway. Cash and UPI both are available. Please check the bill before leaving the place after payment they also provide bills so check it carefully because we haven't ordered one item only just asked what this is? when i got the bill this item was also there. I have checked the same time and inquiry about that. By mistake it's happened i know that I am sharing this incident of mine so that it will be helpful. Not for offense. Finding this place doesn't have to struggle inside the Lady Ratan Tata building road. Overall a good one time visit. It's okay 👍
