Nature & Parks
Parco di Monza is a popular attraction in the city, drawing many visitors each year. It offers a wide range of activities such as horse and auto racetracks, golf, tennis, and an outdoor Olympic swimming pool. The park is also surrounded by various accommodations and nearby attractions like Autodromo Nazionale Monza and Villa Reale. With its vast expanse, there are always new corners to explore within the park, making it an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts.
I went for a run in the morning here. It was amazing to be able to run on the famous old banked curve of the race track. The park in general is well maintained and great for doing some sports.

Huge park, great for cycling waking etc. It's so big it has the monza F1 track, a farm, a golf course and loads and loads of space to spare.

I love meandering through this park and watching the sunset by the fountain in front of Palazzo Reale. Lingering is a priority here! We stumbled on a Beer/Food Truck festival on the last visit ... which was fun! they had trucks reprenting almost every type of cuisine in the world.

Incredibly huge park. The racing circuit part is very big alone, but the rest is big as well. Suitable for sports activities of many kinds. They even have running tracks for several lengths. Prep for many kms walk or better, ride. There was a huge storm in July 23 that massacred the racing track surrounding. Over 10 000 trees fell down.

Big beautiful park of the royal palace. 🌳🪵🍃 We spent not one but two days walking around and feeding the squirrels. 🥜🐿️ There are so many. 😍 There is a lake, with plenty of fish 🐟 and ducks 🦆 The tower looks cool. You really have plenty of options how to enjoy this place. ☺️

Sights & Landmarks
Ponte dei Leoni, also known as Lions' Bridge, is a triple-arched pedestrian bridge adorned with stone lion statues at each corner. Constructed in the 19th century to connect the capital with neighboring Lecco, it has become one of Monza's most iconic landmarks. The bridge features design elements influenced by King Napoleon and his family during the French occupation. It stands near the Tower of Teodolinda and offers a glimpse into the city's Roman heritage.
Very beautiful bridge in the town of Monza with the river passing through and the view of the buildings in the back. I recommend it as a tourist attraction.
Nikolaos P — Google review
One of my favorite places to relax in the city, the addition of the cafes allow you to on a nice day, and the tide is high on the river, enjoy a quick drink in a notoriously Lombardian fashion.
Will M — Google review
Cute little short bridge , but with quite a history to it 🦁 there are 4 statuettes of lions , on each points of the bridge. However, it was the Romans who first constructed the bridge on that spot.
Kandi D — Google review
I'm sure I'm being a philistine, but aside from the (nice) lion statues and the fact that it's a stone bridge and hence "pretty", I'm not really sure that it offers much as an attraction. I could equally write a review of a lamppost and it'd be the same. It's s stone bridge. It's nice. There's nothing wrong with it. But it's not somewhere you'd specifically go to visit.
Matt B — Google review
Cute bridge. I loved the sidewalks along the river
Alexis S — Google review
The bridge isn't something that will blow your mind but it's very nice area since there are a lot of little shops like icecream, drinks and you can go have a drink and then enjoy it by the Bridge. That what I did woth My boyfriend and I really enjoyed myself

Nestled just a short stroll from the Villa Reale, the Cappella Reale Espiatoria stands as a poignant tribute commissioned by King Vittorio Emanuele III of Italy. This exquisite chapel marks the very spot where anarchist Gaetano Bresci tragically assassinated King Umberto I on July 29, 1900.
Molto interessante. The fescoes were stunning
Pauline V — Google review
When you visit this place, you understand why Umberto was killed. It gives the same sensation as visiting Versailles in Paris, although it is much much smaller. When you see the excessive wealth, and know how much poverty was created to fund the wasteful spending of the nobility, you understand why people assassinate nobles. It makes you sad and angry to see such a wasteful display of wealth, especially one which gets almost no visitors. It's a quiet, peaceful, and beautiful place. But it's also terrifying and makes you want to cry. But not for Umberto. For Umberto's victims. Hopefully the Italian Anarchists keep putting up the graffiti in support of Bresci on the walls nearby. The graffiti brings a smile to your face and gives you hope for Italy despite the generations of fascism from Umberto to Mussolini to the Years of Lead, to Berlusconi and Meloni in the more recent years.
Gabriel R — Google review
Nothing special in my opinion, but if you’re into history it might be an interesting place for you. It’s free to enter, has a little garden at the back and the entrance to the crypt.

What a surprise! We just went in on chance and was surprised with a fabulous colonial style place playing jazz and serving amazing drinks. The four of us each had a different drink and they were all great! This is the best drink place I have ever been to and I do know my drinks. To the drinks rhymes served nice “apertivo”. Perfect ending to our first visit to Monza! 😀

Unusual drinks, very refreshing. Nibbles were good, and the atmosphere was great. It's like an imaginary English gentleman's club with big comfy and surprisingly cool, leather armmchairs. The young men who prepared and served were extremely courteous. I could definitely make this place into a habit!

Villa Reale di Monza is a grand neo-classical estate featuring royal apartments, a chapel, and expansive park and gardens. Visitors can take guided tours to explore the historic complex. The estate is known for its regal apartments that offer a glimpse into court life. The surrounding Park of Villa Reale di Monza is considered one of Europe's most significant historical parks, boasting picturesque landscapes with villas, farms, mills, bridges, and ancient trees.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Villa Reale, Monza – A Timeless Lesson in Wealth & Legacy Walking through Villa Reale is like stepping into a blueprint for success—where strategy, luxury, and longevity have shaped history. 🏰✨ This palace isn’t just a feast for the eyes, it’s a lesson in leadership and well-being: ✔️ Vision & Structure – Every great empire, like every great business, thrives on strong foundations. ✔️ True Luxury – Not excess, but access to beauty, serenity, and a quality life. ✔️ Longevity & Prevention – Royalty understood that health is the key to abundance—a lesson just as relevant today. A must-visit for those who think beyond the present—Villa Reale is a masterclass in success, past and future.
Dr. M — Google review
Mediocre experience inside. The library without books, the rooms with almost not furniture, in lack of the latest the upper flow is filled with modern art that fills completely out of place with few exceptions. Some of the photos here on Google were a bit outdated or misleading for our visit. At the same time, with noticing that you only pay 10 EUR for the entry ticket, so you don’t loose much. During our visit, the English tour wasn’t an available option, while the Italian one included in the ticket price.
Kiryl S — Google review
The entrance ticket costs €10 and includes a guided tour. What’s special is that instead of just one guide, there are 4 guides located in different rooms of the Villa, each explaining the history, architecture, and details of the palace. When I visited, the explanations were only in Italian (not sure if tours are also available in other languages, maybe depending on the day or group). The tour of the Villa Reale itself takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. If you also want to explore the exhibition about the Second World War and the second floor with additional rooms showcasing modern art, then plan for around 2 hours in total. Booking your timeslot online is recommended on weekends. To explore the park around the building a bicycle is advised.
Susanne S — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Royal Experience at Villa Reale, Monza! Visiting Villa Reale in Monza was more than just a trip—it was a journey through history, wealth, and the art of longevity. Walking through its grand halls and stunning gardens, I was reminded that true success isn’t just about wealth but about vision, structure, and well-being—principles that have shaped great leaders for centuries. 🏰 A Masterpiece of Strategic Thinking – Every detail of this palace speaks of careful planning and an empire built on foresight and purpose—just like any successful business or legacy. 💎 Luxury Beyond Material Wealth – Villa Reale embodies the idea that true abundance isn’t about excess, but about access—to beauty, serenity, and a lifestyle that prioritizes quality over quantity. 🌿 A Lesson in Longevity & Prevention – The historical elegance of this place reminds us that those who thrived understood the power of sustainability, clean living, and holistic well-being. The same principles apply today—investing in health, clear thinking, and conscious choices is the true key to abundance. If you are an entrepreneur, visionary, or someone who values success, history, and holistic well-being, this is a must-visit destination. Villa Reale is not just a palace; it’s a living lesson in wealth, leadership, and lasting impact. ⭐ Highly recommended for those who seek inspiration and timeless wisdom. #VillaReale #5StarExperience #HistoryMeetsLuxury #WealthAndWellBeing #EntrepreneurMindset #LongevitySecrets #SuccessAndHealth

Villa Reale in Monza is a lovely spot for relaxing, picnicking, or jogging surrounded by nature. It's spacious, peaceful, and great for families—kids especially love watching the many squirrels running around 😀
Yarmali O — Google review
Beautiful ancient royal residence where to spend a relaxing couple of hours in Monza. Entry fee is €10 bookable online or at the counter. Those days the garden was not available for site visit probably due to some trees brought down by storms, but still worth the experience. I would have preferred guided tours all along the rooms of the villa instead of just an introduction.
Marco G — Google review
Gorgeous villa in Monza! The interior apartments and rooms that you can tour on the first and second floors are insanely beautiful - even better than Versailles. Our tour guide Salvatore was the absolute best and we learned a lot about the history behind the decoration of the rooms, the family, and the furniture! Unfortunately we did not have enough time planned but will absolutely be back next time we’re in Monza. :)

Autodromo Nazionale Monza is a historic motor racing circuit located in the heart of a city park. The venue hosts regular car and motorbike races, as well as offering the opportunity to drive or be driven around. The circuit's old banked section is a must-visit for F1 fans, providing an interesting glimpse into its past. While not as modern as some tracks, Autodromo Nazionale Monza still holds charm and interest for those who are not fans of racing.
Fantastic track for a classic formula one race. If you’re general admission or grand stand ticket holders, be prepared for an adventure of a weekend with 30k plus steps, lots of missed navigation, and an unforgettable experience seeing a sea of Ferrari fans. Definitely a life changing experience but highly recommended for a F1 fanatic!
Walter W — Google review
Went for the F1, loved it. Such a historical track. We stayed just outside Milan, and used the shuttle service, which for only 10 euro is amazing value for money. The food on offer was decent and well priced. The toilets were very clean and were constantly cleaned though the day. The race on Sunday was not that exciting, but it doesn't matter as it was about the experience, and I have to admit standing in the grandstand, when they Italian anthem was being sung was amazing.

🏁 Incredible Weekend at the International GT Open – Monza 🇮🇹 What a weekend at the International GT Open! The Monza F1 Circuit, set in beautiful wooded parkland, is truly something special — the atmosphere, the speed, and the sound are unforgettable. Even better, entry was completely free all weekend, with great access to most of the stands — including Friday practice, which is quite rare. It was amazing to experience the fastest Formula 1 circuit up close, surrounded by passionate fans and stunning scenery. We stayed at a fantastic Airbnb just 100 yards from the entrance, which made the whole trip super convenient. Highly recommend this spot if you’re planning a visit. Already can’t wait to go back next year! 🏎️💨

Amazing track to see F1. Worth the money to buy seats. Crazy event. It's possible to get a good view with general admission but you must be at the track first thing every morning. The selected seats are the way to go. Lots of great people there too. All very friendly
Alessandro D — Google review
It took soooooooooo long to walk from the parking lot, even the closest one. There’s no shuttle. It’s probably a close a mile away. Lots of local Italian exciting fans. I don’t like how they set up the seating, fan zone, food, games, music, shops, walking paths, outdated bathrooms, etc. This track is spacious for the drivers, but nothing special for the viewers. I won’t return here though we love F1. I suppose you can helicopter in, that would be better????
Jeene L — Google review
Buy your tickets as soon as they are released which is 1 yr before and only buy from official ticket stores. Pick your parking & gates wisely & be ready for a lot of walking. Try and arrive at least 2hrs before the event you’re interested in.
Kudakwashe Z — Google review
Interesting historical circuit. Did the track experience and the van was driven round the track with more enthusiasm than expected (not a negative for me, but worth noting for anyone who has motion issues). Also did the tour which took about an hour and showed you a lot of the behind the scenes areas.
Adrian B — Google review
Visited for the F1 at Monza. The views are from 6C grandstand. There was a screen opposite and there was a good view of the track. Behind the stand were stalls for food and drink, as well a row of toilet cubicals. To enter the inner circuit you have to go under the track. To get to the circuit from Milan central station you are best booking the combined ticket as this also gives you access to bus to the stadium, but it's not close for drop off, with about a 40min walk to the entrance point, and probably that again to the grandstand. On the way back it took a further 40 minutes in the queue for the bus, and 20 minutes at the station for the train on top of all the walkjng. The trains are regular but they are very crowded as we're the buses. Overall a fantastic day.

What an amazing place. This is an "incontournable" un Monza. I am surprise it does not have a Michelin star or 2. What an amazing service as well. Our server Denis (he was Italian) was entertaining, had a wicked sense of humour and knew exactly how to connect with the group. We were 6 people and the efficiency of the service was just amazing. We did the traditional tasting menu Wich was at the time 62 euros per person but worth like 100. The quality of the food, the presentation and the taste was out of this world I will difinitly go back everytime I am in Monza. Thanks for a memorable meal.

The Museo e Tesoro del Duomo di Monza is a captivating destination that beautifully encapsulates the rich history and artistry of the region. Nestled within the stunning Gothic Cathedral, this museum showcases an impressive collection of artifacts, including the renowned Iron Crown, a significant relic from early medieval times. Visitors can marvel at exquisite pieces from the Longobard Treasure and explore artworks spanning from the 1300s to contemporary creations in its dedicated Carlo Gaiani section.
Impressive treasury. The core of exhibition is a set of late antiquity and early middle ages artifacts. I adore this style: heavily golden and a lot of large gems, no way to find two similar ones. So many centuries had passed before this "imperfection" started to be so desirable in the modern art styles. I was also impressed with a diptych portraying Stilicho and his wife - such a touch to the history of the last days of Western Roman Empire it was. Iron Crown is located in the church in Theodelinda Chapel, ask on the museum desk how to get there if you want to see this relic.

climbing 500 stairs up and then descending 500 stairs down it is not as bad as it sounds since the steps are small I guess they are intended for smaller stature people on the middle ages. Superb view as expected but because of immense height , most of sights are no longer seen

In my opinion this is one of the most incredible medieval museums in Europetotally underrated, but not didactic enough. There is not much left anywhere of the period between the fall of the Roman Empire and the early Renaissance. This museum has several unique pieces of jewelry, the crown of with the iron nails, and every day articles. It's a bit of the missing link of what happened after the call of the Roman Empire. The museum is not interactive so it is more adequate for people with some background knowledge of the period and who already know they live history. We spent a whole afternoon here.
Georginamgo — Google review
An interesting museum related to the Cathedral, also including many relevant historical items -and of course the most important one is the Iron Crown. Everything is well exposed, easy to understand, the guide was very good, and we had a great time visiting it.
J R — Google review
Phone ahead to book a tour of the Tesoro, with the excellent, English-speaking staff, and you could have a very special experience. Most visiting Monza will know of the Iron Crown, the ancient relic of Christendom, wielded by Charlemagne and Napoleon, etc etc. So, I was expecting there to be a large crowd of tourists. I was very wrong! Instead, I was treated to an extended, 1-on-1 tour of the cathedral treasury and viewing of the Crown with an excellent guide, who was more than happy to explain all the history and legends surrounding this relic at length. Still cannot believe I was the only one there. A very, very special place.

Il Feudo dei Sapori is a charming restaurant in the Brianza area that offers typical local dishes and occasional themed menus in a warm and traditional setting. Guests have raved about the delicious risotto, describing it as a delicacy that almost brought them to tears. The luganega, another local specialty, was also highly praised for its delicious flavor. The restaurant is known for its simple and cozy atmosphere, with friendly staff and fast service.
Simple and cozy restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. The device was great. Every night we went it was filled with locals so you know it's good. If you're willing to walk a tiny bit away from the busy main area Monza, this place is a must eat. We went there two nights in a row! So yummy.

The Bank Food&Drink with Music offers a modern setting with leather sofas and soft lighting, perfect for enjoying aperitifs, snacks, and live music. The venue is known for its expertly crafted drinks by skilled bartenders using quality ingredients. It also features a club-like atmosphere behind double doors reminiscent of a bank vault. We’ve been here to celebrate a friends birthday. The place wasn’t that big so ta better to reserve a table a day before. They have a small stage where they do the live bands concerts. As a food we took the mini portion, Unfortunately isn’t that good. When it comes for price it’s very expensive plus 3€ for the live concerts who performing then the table price. I can understand if the place was in the center of Milan but suddenly it was on side part of a gas station. Where just invited so this was just my opinion at all and what I observed No hurt feelings.

A nice place with the very good idea of hosting local rock bands; tonight we had a double feature, both quite good. Food is Tex-mex, not too fanciful: no onion rings nor craft beer (and a Moretti IPA at 7€, for that)

In the heart of Monza's historic city center stands the iconic Palazzo dell'Arengario, a centuries-old brick building that once served as the town hall. This impressive structure features a bell tower and graceful arches on its ground floor, showcasing a blend of architectural styles inspired by Milan's Palazzo della Ragione. Overlooking Piazza Roma, this strategic location has made it a symbol of the city.

The Roseto 'Niso Fumagalli' botanical garden can be found at the entrance of Villa Reale. It is a haven for roses from all over the world, with colors that even Pantone could classify and fragrances beyond imagination. If you follow your nose, it will lead you to this paradise filled with butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. You can rest on a bench located under the rose gazebo while admiring nature's marvels in this stunning garden.
There were still beautiful blooming roses when we came in the middle of November. Nice place to have a walk and sniff roses like babies, chill on a bench and watch people wonder around. The garden is opened and free.

This pizzeria is a must-go for anyone who loves pizza. It has great pizzas and the people working there are really friendly. The only downside is that it's a bit basic, but that doesn't take away from the quality of the food.
The best Neapolitan pizza ever in my life. Of course I haven’t had enough amount of pizza as much as Italian, but at least in my pizza experience it’s even better than the pizza I tried in Naples! It’s really hard to stand whenever I pass the pizzeria. I would eat pizza everyday if I won’t get fat. Also Antonio and Luca are very friendly and I can tell they always try to make the place better.
Jisu C — Google review
Pizzeria I Due Monelli delivers what so many places aspire to but rarely achieve: pizza with soul. From the very first bite, it’s clear that this is something special. The dough is simply outstanding—light, perfectly fermented, and full of character. It strikes that elusive balance between crunch and chew, and serves as the perfect base for their top-tier ingredients. The quality here is unmistakable. Every element on the pizza tastes fresh, carefully chosen, and treated with respect. You can feel the authenticity in every detail—this is Italian pizza done right, and with genuine passion behind it. Without exaggeration, this was the best pizza I’ve had in Italy—and I’ve had many. If you're in Monza and care about real, soulful food, do not miss I Due Monelli. It's Italian masterclass in what pizza should be.

(Translated by Google) I went to this pizzeria recently and would like to share my experience. The pizza follows the Neapolitan style, with a soft dough and a high crust. The ingredients are of good quality, but, for my personal taste, I found the crust excessively prominent compared to the amount of seasoning, which left a little "empty" overall. The room is quite small, and this, combined with the fact that we had to wait about an hour to eat, made the experience less pleasant. However, the staff at the table were courteous and helpful, making up for the wait somewhat. As for the cost, I found it fair in relation to the quality offered.

(Translated by Google) I had dinner with a colleague here last night, after the MiMo event. The place is welcoming and clean, I wouldn't say chaotic as someone reviewed: we came on Saturday and we had a great time. There was the possibility of eating outside and we were happy about it. The food is of excellent quality, the pizzas are light and excellently topped: Neapolitan type with high digestibility. I read someone write that the crust was too big and therefore the topping was reduced: well, I saw several pizzas arrive and I found them perfect. You will surely appreciate one of the many homemade desserts and the friendliness of the staff and the owner; the girl who served us was very professional and attentive to the fact that the service was going well, as well as very nice. If this place were in my city (Rome) it would certainly become a point of reference.

Lives up to its name, the vibe at the Wibe was really nice. Milanese cotoletta was yumm! We came here for dinner and specifically also to try the Milanese Cotoletta, we were not disappointed. It was well cooked, the breading is different from the German schnitzel and the portion size was good for the price. Aside of this they have good cocktails and bar setting. We also had their hamburger with fries which was well made. We eneded with Pana Cotta which was a bit of a let down for me personally as I didn't enjoy the ginger in it. It would have been helpful to have their menu in English which I didn't see online, maybe could have asked them. This wasn't a deal breaker and we still had a very nice time.

Ultra hipster atmosphere (the name is the program), indifferent, impersonal service, loud pop/rap music. Post-Millennials probably in their element, Boomers maybe less so. But, great aperitivo snacks and/or appetizers (the gamberi with lime were good and generously portioned). And if you love weird Campari cocktails, and don't mind paying high prices for them, this is definitely your place.

64€ for 3 dishes. We are vegetarian and we ordered the Milanese risotto*2 and 1 melanzanie mozzarella something, risotto was alright but the Aubergine was a total waste it’s half an Aubergine with a few tomato and mozzarella slices on top with a little salt and pepper. 18€ for half an Aubergine is tooo expensive, it wasn’t even tasty. We had no drinks so can’t comment on it, the service was very nice, vibe too but if you want to eat go somewhere else.

Nestled in the heart of Monza, Santa Maria in Strada is a stunning medieval church that dates back to the 14th century. Its name translates to "in the street," reflecting its location along the historic route connecting Monza and Milan. This remarkable structure showcases a captivating blend of Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles, making it an eye-catching landmark for visitors. (Translated by Google) Like many places in Monza, it has been completely transformed by nineteenth-century restorations. The original church dates back to the 14th century, but practically nothing remains. The façade, restored by Maciachini, appears discreetly along Via Italia. It's rare to find it open, if it happens it's worth going in to get an idea of the havoc that was done in the 19th century. In short, nothing significant. The request to collect signatures to become a place of FAI's heart was also exaggerated. (Original) Come molti luoghi a Monza, è stata completamente stravolta dai restauri ottocenteschi.

(Translated by Google) The church, located on one of the arteries in the center of Monza, has a beautiful Gothic façade, which was actually almost completely rebuilt in the 19th century. The interior, which can rarely be visited, was also redone in the 19th century according to a neo-baroque style. Perhaps the most significant element on an artistic level is a sculpture of the Madonna with child on the facade (this is a copy, the original is in the Cathedral Museum).

(Translated by Google) Unfortunately only seen from the outside. The complaint I make about many churches in the city is the fact that they do not have a panel posted with the opening times (and days). However, there is an information panel with a brief description of the monument, which is useful (the indication of the churches on this route, put in a linear way, in my opinion is confusing because they are not located in this way). However, the building is located a short distance from Piazza Trento-Trieste, along the central Viale Italia, a very important connection between the city and Milan. For this reason the church took the name S. Maria in Strada. It was built by the Franciscan Tertiaries between 1348 and 1368 who entrusted the project to the Milanese Ambrogiolo. Passed to the Augustinians (1393) of the Milanese convent of S. Marco, it was rebuilt (subsequently, in 1756) internally in Baroque style. In 1870 it was restored on the outside, which preserved the Gothic style. It is composed of a fake loggia and terracotta decorations, with the insertion of symbols such as the six-pointed star (Star of David, for many "Seal of Solomon"), the Flower of Life, etc. In the niche above the rose window there is a copy of the Madonna with Child ("Virgin with the Girdle"), the original of which is in the Monza Cathedral Museum. The imposing bell tower is visible from different angles.

(Translated by Google) A truly enchanting place, almost fairytale-like in a truly intimate atmosphere. Excellent for couples, friends who know how to appreciate simple but characteristic places. The quality of the products served is excellent, now forgotten by many, the wines are superlative, there is a wide choice and the owner always knows how to give you the best advice. A place where you can be spoiled by the owner who is always ready to give you an explanation on the products you have just chosen. In short, an added value, in addition to the possibility of being able to speak because the only sound you can hear is the symposium.

I went there on Sunday evening with two friends, we ordered 3 glasses of white wine and a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses... all of the highest quality, served with care and accompanied by the owner's passion in explaining the origins of the products and their characteristics. Nice to see a young and knowledgeable guy who makes customers feel important by dedicating his time to them! We will definitely be back to try much more and will recommend the place to those who prefer quality, intimacy and warmth to noisy buffets! Compliments! Very kind staff: they brought us Aperol spritz instead of the Campari I had asked for, they apologized and changed it for us without problems. Average prices, although for €6-7 of spritz they could bring a few more appetizers instead of just chips, even if it's true that they gave us a lot of them; for the aperitif you can order food separately. Suggestive location: a beautiful little square near the river, plenty of space on sunny autumn mornings! I chose to sit here because it was one of the few cafes/bars I could find open on a Monday afternoon in Monza. It was nice to sit outside area. I got a brioche and a campari spritz. I actually wanted to get a focaccia but I changed my mind when I saw the flies buzzing around it. When I saw that the brioche that arrived at the table had a tiny dead spider on it, I took it back inside. They replaced it with a new one but no one even said sorry and it was an unappetizing experience. More attention should be paid to such issues! Overall, the taste was average. The hygiene issue is a question mark. I recommend that you do not choose this place unless you have no other choice.

(Translated by Google) The place is quaint and welcoming and the quality of the food is decent. Some notes: the menu is not on paper but is spoken orally and this leads to hasty decisions on the choice of food and you don't know in advance how much you will spend. The same for the choice of wines. The portions are quite small and the bill is certainly not cheap! For a place like this I don't expect broken chairs or less than attentive service: we had to ask several times for napkins that weren't on the table, spoons to eat the pasta and beans and to order dessert we waited a long time and the same goes for the bill. ! I don't recommend it.

(Translated by Google) There is a secret hidden in this place: All staff, without exception, undergo periodic courtesy courses. At least that's what I think because otherwise the human warmth with which you are greeted when you enter could not be explained. Finding trained, helpful and kind people is rare these days. They are friendly, but they really are, they are discreet and quick to serve you, and they do it with a smile. It's a place where you feel comfortable, I would go there to spend a few minutes relaxing even if they sold industrial compressors. But fortunately for us customers they have excellent products, fresh and of quality and taste. The coffee is well roasted and fragrant, the sandwiches are tasty, and they are fresh, expertly prepared. This is a place - and it's a shame that there aren't many like this - where those who work do so with passion and respect for the customer. Do you want to see how those who love their job work? Then stop by the Nuovo Caffè; it may be as new as you like to believe, but the courtesy is solid and ancient. Feeling good and at ease, whether I want to grab a coffee on the run or enjoy an inviting aperitif, is so important to me that I often willingly travel several extra kilometers to go there. I think it's worth it. Feeling good in a place like this is worth its weight in gold, much more than traveling less distance and seeing yourself served by people who seem to be at war with all of humanity. I would almost like to delete this review, because it would be sad to find the place clogged with customers in the future. So let's do this: go there and only tell the friends who are dear to you, those with whom you want to make a great impression. They will thank you, just as I thank those who work in this place for their exquisite kindness and professionalism.

(Translated by Google) I went yesterday with my husband for an aperitif. We were looking for a place that did it early, wanting to go to the cinema at 8pm. Unfortunately we didn't have a reservation so they put us outside under the heat lamps but it was freezing. The aperitif is very cheap (6€ each) BUT they stopped bringing food to the buffet as early as 6.30pm. And if you close at 8pm, you can't stop bringing food an hour and a half before. In fact, in half an hour practically everything was finished and only cold stuff remained - frozen scones, gherkins, etc. I would recommend a higher price but a more adequate quality of service, otherwise it is easy to prefer other places.

Church
The Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli was constructed in 1608 by the priest and scholar Bartolomeo Zucchi, who tragically succumbed to the plague in 1630. It was built near his father's house and dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, on the very spot where San Carlo Borromeo had performed a miraculous healing in 1578. Despite its small size, this church is known for its charming atmosphere and lovely stained glass windows.
Small but cozy church with beautiful stained glass windows.

(Translated by Google) It was not open so I have to limit the evaluation only to the external part and the historical-religious value it has. It was the priest and scholar Bartolomeo Zucchi who wanted to found a public church dedicated to the Virgin at his father's house, by 1608. His was a rich and noble family and the desire to build the church came to him following the miracle performed by St. Carlo Borromeo on 11 August 1578 in this very area (he had healed a woman from Monza from serious ailments). The church was officiated by the Jesuits and had rich furnishings. Bartolomeo died of the plague in 1630 and his church resisted until the 19th - 20th century, when it was demolished to widen the road. At that point it was replaced by a new church with neo-Gothic shapes, which we still see today. It was designed by the architect. Spirit Maria Chiappetta. In front of the church, on the opposite side, there is the monument to S. Carlo Borromeo.

Zucchi wanted to build the church in that place firstly because it was adjacent to the family residence and secondly because he wanted to commemorate the miracle that San Carlo Borromeo had performed in Monza by healing a noblewoman in that very place. In front of the church there is a bronze statue of San Carlo Borromeo.
