Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Port Douglas, Jungle Fowl is a contemporary restaurant that offers exquisite Thai cuisine. The restaurant, which relocated from Oaks Kitchen, showcases the culinary expertise of former Longrain chef Ben Wallace. His skillful preparation of Thai dishes like ma hor and sweet and sour curry using local produce reflects the vibrant flavors of Tropical North Queensland.
After the finish of the Carnivale street parade we made our way straight to Jungle Fowl (as we hadn’t eaten there before) and were lucky to get a table. Really glad we went there as the food was delicious. Whilst the spring rolls were OK, the rest of the food had lots of flavour. The Prawn and Betel Leaf and the Thai Street Relish were just divine and my husband’s favorite was the Black Pepper Beef we also had some roti to go with the beef as well. Would highly recommend a visit.

We came to Jungle Fowl in Port Douglas to celebrate two friends’ birthdays and had the most beautiful experience. The staff were just divine — so attentive, warm, and genuinely helpful. They kindly let us store a birthday cake and brought it out with candles at just the right moment, which made the night feel extra special. The food was absolutely sensational. Every dish — from the noodles to the curries — was bursting with flavour. You could taste the freshness and care in every bite. And the cocktails? Outstanding. Creative, balanced, and just the right amount of fun. Whether you're celebrating something or just out for a great meal, Jungle Fowl is not to be missed. We can’t wait to come back.

This place was recommended to us and it lived up to the billing. The atmosphere was lovely. We sat out in the terrace area on the street but the ambiance was just as good. Service was excellent. We got spring rolls to start and the vegetarian curry and the prawn rice noodles dishes. Both were excellent. We would highly recommend this place if you like Asian fusion. Compliments to the chef also 😊
Andy M — Google review
Beautiful dinner at Jungle Fowl. The service was very friendly and quick, the atmosphere was delightful with beautiful views over the beach. The food was delish! I was so hungry I didn’t take any pictures but we had the beef snake bean stir fry, vegetarian spring rolls and my personal favourite, the beef bao. They were so delicious I could have eaten way more. The passion fruit cocktail was also a highlight. Highly recommended. Make sure you book ahead because they are usually booked out between 6.15 and 8pm most nights.
Jane L — Google review
We’ve got a big void to fill. Hahaha. We started with three entrées: • Thai street snack (in my opinion, the Massaman on top of a rice cracker is insane) • Beef satay skewers • Citrus betel leaf (highly recommend this as the first bite — total mouth-watering starter) For the share plates: • Yellow curry • Tiger prawns with Thai basil This is literally Thai-fusion done right. As a Thai person, the flavours were extraordinary. A must-try if you’re heading to Port Douglas!
Treesuwat H — Google review
Fantastic to see this caliber of food is finally coming to Port. The food was fantastic, a highlight for us was the ‘Thai Street Food’ and the chilled squid salad but we will be back to try more! The 0% spicy Marg was amazing, my eyes lit up when I saw my fav cocktail on the zero alc. menu. Their Thai pina colada was also a pleasant surprise, it’s great when you’re paying the price of a cocktail for a mocktail and it’s actually worth the money! Our waitress was very attentive, friendly and made the night that extra bit special!
Sam M — Google review
We really enjoyed our dinner. We had an early sitting and enjoyed delicious happy hour cocktails and shared several meals from the Cheeky Tuesday options. All were divine and the staff are professionals. You really should book so you don’t miss out - many people were turned away as the place filled up by 7ish.
Sharnie N — Google review
Booked in for an evening meal. On arrival we asked for an inside table for two, preferably under a fan as it was another hot sticky Port Douglas evening. The staff duly obliged and we relaxed with a few drinks. We chose the 6-course set menu. The 3 entrees promptly arrived and were mouth watering. Prawn betal leaf, Thai street food and the wagyu beef skewers were supurb. These all had the "Wow" factor. Searching for a favourite, we both called it a "3-way Thai"! The 3 mains were yellow curry pork, Asian greens and a tamarind seasoned chicken, plus rice. Wonderful food to follow the entrees with spicy, sweet and savoury flavours. Just delicious. We thought the 6-courses plus rice was an ample feast, but did share a dish of lamington ice cream cake, palm comb, salted coconut to finish. This is an excellent restaurant experience, grest food in a lovely venu backed up with excellent and attentive staff. Heartily recommended.

Bam Pow is a top-notch vegan restaurant in Port Douglas, known for its friendly staff and delicious food. It offers a creative and generous portion of vegan dishes that even non-vegans find authentic in both texture and flavor. The cocktails are highly recommended, and the availability of board games adds a fun touch to the dining experience.
YUM! Was looking for a restaurant that opens early and stumbled upon this gem. I am vegan and couldn’t believe my luck. The food is AMAZING, my non-vegan partner also loved it and said “tastes like actual chicken”. Definitely worth a stop, especially at happy hour 🩵
Alessia V — Google review
Second night in a row, two different cities and making a last-minute dinner choice with the closest restaurant. This one was literally across the road from where I was staying. Having read the reviews I had high expectations, and even though I ventured over early and managed to get a table right away, bookings are really essential. I was not disappointed. The food was excellent, both in presentation and taste - I chose the Eggplant Tempura and the Papaya Salad. I am not Vegan but I love creative, flavourful meals, and this was almost perfect - maybe too much chili for my taste (easily moved to the side). Amazing that this little eatery is (almost) hidden just out of town (about 10-15 walk). If you’re in Port Douglas, even just for the day, make this a must-do on your eating schedule. And consider booking in advance.
Vito M — Google review
They offer a lovely and creative Asian spread which is entirely vegan and kosher friendly. The jackfruit curry, udon noodles and the pineapple boat were among our favourites. It was so delicious that we visited this place again within our short 4-day holiday in Port Douglas. The jackfruit curry was super flavourful and had a deliciously unique texture. The dessert (pineapple boat) was extremely refreshing and the perfect end to our holiday dinner! Highly recommend reserving a table as seating capacity is limited. Service can be a bit slow if you visit during peak hours or on weekends, so I suggest being early.
Bhairavi G — Google review
Such a hidden gem, worth the drive up from Cairns. Some of the best vegan food I’ve ever eaten, matches some of the best Melbourne vegan restaurants. The cocktails are also divine. 10/10 all round, can’t wait to visit again. 💚
Brynn A — Google review
Very nice food. Unfortunately I was solo as I was travelling for work. I would have lived to try the All In menu but it needs 2 people minimum. The Eggplant Tempura was amazing. The mushroom skewer was okay but not very substantial. Cocktails are around $20. The service was fast and friendly. I will need to come back and try mire dished.
Joanne M — Google review
Oh wow. This place is so incredible. The flavors are so amazing and each so different. I would say this is a restaurant I would drive to port to eat at. Happy hour drinks also fantastic. The Yuzu sour is a must. The spring rolls are not run of the mill. You wrap fresh lettuce and herbs around the roll and dip it into the sauce and it is mind blowing. The baos were also a highlight. We will definitely be back. Thank Ethan and Rachael. 🫶

Great vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Food is great and staff is friendly. We tried most of their dishes and liked the Bahn mi and the red curry with beens the most! They regularly change their menu though. Enjoy 🍛🍜

Wow! So so good! The best vegan food we have eaten so far. Had the Jackfruit Rendang, Papaya salad and eggplant Tempeh, washed down with a couple of scrumptious Watermelon Margaritas. Service was easy and attentive, sitting outside was perfect. Do yourself a favour and try it. You won’t be disappointed.

Great location, staff and ambience. During lunch we were serenaded with a singer. The food was very good and sizable portions. The staff patient and helpful. Right across from the Pprt Douglas market. Great experience.

We always pop in here for a beer when we visit Pt Douglas. Next time we will stay for a meal, that's why I can't rate the meal, as we haven't eaten here. The atmosphere is great, with many places to sit and enjoy. I would say you should book, if going there at night for a meal. The tables are always clean and staff friendly. The prices are reasonable, under $20 for 2 drinks. If you like my reviews please follow us around Australia 🇦🇺.

Had a bucket of prawns and they were good. asked for tabasco and the server got it for me. lets face it, its a superb location. but the service was really quite good
Wayne — Google review
Very busy right on midday, scored a high table out the front. We ordered the calamari with chips and the fish tacos which came out fairly quickly. The calamari was very tender and the chips cooked perfectly. The barramundi in the tacos was the standout! Absolutely delicious. This together with a glass of Shaw and Smith Sauv Blanc made lunch very enjoyable. Highly Recommend.
Audrey — Google review
It’s a beautiful location with views across the beach. Live (and loud!) music adds to the atmosphere. Grabbing a table can be tricky on busy nights. We both ordered the steak. I had the scotch fillet which was cooked well. The chips were cooked well but no seasoning. The salad was drowned in dressing but I thought both the chips and salad could have been a bit bigger. A good option.
Jane L — Google review
Loved the booze and juice drink, steak was sublime and perfectly cooked, chips were great too. Only qualm is that I asked to swap the chips with another side item on the menu but my request couldn't be fulfilled - was looking for a healthier alternative. If this is in fact possible please make it clear to staff for future orders.
Thefoodaroo — Google review
A great hotel with a terrific atmosphere. The Court House Hotel is a relaxing place to have a drink, some food and watch the world go by. You can't beat having a drink in the outdoor dining area or deck on a beautiful sunny day. There are indoor dining options too. There is also an area upstairs that is often used for functions. Regular live music is played here on some nights. 'The Courty' is probably the best pub in Port Douglas for food, drink and overall atmosphere. They run an efficient kitchen and we have never had a bad meal here over the years - around three decades of visiting Port Douglas. On our most recent visits, we had a couple of great discussions with the wonderful manager Nikola! We also enjoyed our conversation with one of the very pleasant staff members, Erwan (there's a photo of him below). An always reliable hotel with excellent food and efficient friendly service. Keep up the great work team! :-)

The food is excellent and very delicious. The pad see eu was so tasty, along with salt & pepper fried squid. A memorable last dinner before going back to Cairns.

Lovely Thai restaurant in the heart of Port Douglas. Price is very reasonable and service was good and prompt considering that 50 people all came in roughly at the same time. Our favourite was the deep fried whole barramundi. We definitely will come back.
W N — Google review
Authentic, fresh Thai food. We did come without booking and they found table for two. it's a good idea to book in advance. Friendly staff, nice food, good ambiance, what else you need? And it's BYO, with corcage charge $4.00 per person. Green curry was very nice.

If in town and you like Thai Food - this is a must visit… Authentic, fresh, tasty and a good vibe… Service was wonderful - however be careful to book if in the peak season, can be booked out… Had a Pad-Thai with Prawns and were served with a generous amount of King Prawns and the dish was awesome…. Also had the Satay Sticks (Brilliant) and Pad Kee Mo Ta Lay (Drunken Noodle Seafood) - also terrific seafood, albeit a little hot if you’re not used of chilli..!! The sweet we had was the Pumpkin-Coconut Custard with Icecream - lovely… Great Thai food!!!

A great local restaurant with good quality food at reasonable prices. Offered BYO which was a bonus. The deep fried barramundi was the highlight. Excellent staff and service.

We ate here last week whilst on holiday in Port Douglas. We booked ahead as a friend had recommended it, and glad we did because it gets very busy. We sat outside in the courtyard which is very pretty at nighttime. Food was amazing, came out quickly and staff were very friendly. Definitely worth a visit when you’re in PD.

Enjoyed our time at the Star of Siam at Port Douglas, although they forgot one meal we mostly were happy with our time together.

Authentic, delicious, superb Thai food. The Star of Siam is the star of Thai cuisine in Port Douglas. Awesome service, an excellent and highly efficient kitchen that churns out perfect food every time. Every table seemed like they were enjoying their meal. Plenty of tables in the restaurant, on the sidewalk, along the sides and back. We had the steamed dumplings, jungle curry pork (which was boldly spicy), and the beef salad (yum neau) and a beer. Dinner came up to $72, worth every penny. Don't hesitate to pop in for a great meal. Reservations recommended.

Epicurean Port Douglas is a charming haven for those who appreciate leisurely afternoons filled with delightful bites and fine wines. Nestled at the beach end of Macrossan Street, this local gem is run by Marlene and Rohan Erard, offering a unique blend of artisan terrines, pates, rillettes, and cured meats.
What an awesome destination for an amazing experience if you are looking for a gourmet, yet relaxed, lunch. They provide a range of Charcuterie and Cheese Boards and share plates, and the quality, presentation and attention to detail is impeccable. There is also an impressive Australian wine list from some of the best wineries across our country. The setting is very peaceful and we were looked after with great friendliness and care. This is a must visit for a special lunch when you visit Port Douglas.

A retired Kiwi couple on holiday for a week at Port Douglas. Our lovely daughter gave us a voucher for the Epicurean so off we went. We enjoyed excellent food although I confess that we lack experience of the subtleties involved. I suspect that this would not apply to some other diners who appeared to be regulars. Service was friendly, helpful regarding what we were being served and efficient. No long waits. All in all I can see why they have signage that 'drop-ins' may be unable to be seated. Thanks Guys, a memorable experience at several levels.

We had a really lovely lunch here. Must book in as it’s only a small place. We loved our duck share platter -the pâté’ was 😍 as were the smoky bay oysters with the salmon roe. The cocktails, the wine, the service- everything was perfect!
Sharnie N — Google review
This little gem is a must visit location. The husband and wife team make it such a lovely experience. Great wine and various tasting platters. I strongly recommend the duck pate.

Incredibly good destination for a gourmet, yet relaxed, lunch. Order from the range of boards and share plates, and prepare to be delighted at the quality and attention to detail of every element. Very good wine and cocktail list, also. And our hosts were absolutely delightful, took great care of us and we had a great chat after lunch. It would be a mistake to visit Port Douglas and to not book a lunch at Epicurean!
David C — Google review
Recently enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Epicurean in Port Douglas. Great options, from specials to a variety of share platters. Seafood and wines were delicious, as was the service. Comfortable, intimate and the most amazing lunch. The 2 person team is a winner.

I wasn't sure about the place, BUT it was recommended and we went for a grazing lunch. We were blown away. Service was amazing, great recommendations for food and wine. A fantastic selection of wines by the glass, and we were blown away by the food. It was first class. Thanks to my kids for the gift voucher and thanks so much to the staff for an unforgettable grazing lunch.

What a beautiful place to spend the afternoon... Delicious small and bigger platters, top quality wine list and other options like gin. The hosts are super friendly and hospitable; it's encouraged to graze and take your time. The quality of everything is exceptional. The prawn skagan and chicken characuterie board were highlights.

N17 Burger Co is a popular eatery in Port Douglas, known for its mouthwatering selection of chicken, beef, fish, and vegan burgers, as well as wings, loaded fries, and craft beer. The restaurant takes pride in its award-winning burgers made with black Angus beef patties and hickory smoked bacon. Additionally, it offers an alfresco dining experience and serves as a sports bar with multiple screens to catch all the thrilling moments.
Don't walk past this place! Even if it just looks like just a nother sports bar. Daughter: "Everything's so good here." If you need Gluten-free you need to ask for the menu. GF Food items are even listed as "C" for Celiac safe! Never seen this before, and the staff are so knowledgeable. So easy to eat and relax knowing everything will be done right. I had the Whisky sauce Chicken Wings.... So so good and filling. My daughter's had the GF (Celiac safe) burgers and they couldn't stop saying how good they were. The Kids also had the thick shacks that looked delicious. A+ Would definitely go back

After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. The N17 house special and salmon Burger were amazing! Then I tried the Barramundi and truffles mushroom burger one day later. It turned out they were great again. The staff were super friendly and I can tell they do love their jobs. This burger restaurant is a bonus to my holiday at Port Douglas. Highly recommended!

Delicious 😋! Always a good feed, arrived in Port around 4pm, headed straight here for our first (and only) meal for the day. Burgers tasty, hot chippies (one of the 3 of us rated them a 10/10 🍟), and the best thick shakes 👌
R — Google review
DO NOT waste your money in this sleazy badly run greasy burger joint. What a dump, overpriced food, staff more interested in looking cool than actually servicing the customers. Burger very average and overpriced. The only place I have EVER had to pay for fries with a burger. As for the fries, mostly fried bits of batter with no potatoes in the chips (see pic) and you have to pay $6 for a small plate. They were tasteless & inedible. The fact you would not only charge for them but actually put them out is an indication of a very poor eatery. Do NOT waste your money, there are a couple of really good places on the street where they know how to cook & present food.
James A — Google review
It's been forever since I received a small (very generous) bowl of crispy sweet potato fries. There's an incredible range of burgers to cover every conceivable desire and if they don't have it you can make your own. The gluten free menu is amazing. The presence of a vegan lentil patty excellent, and it tasted good too. The vibe was great, even at a midweek lunch, the service friendly and fantastic. Craft beers were great. Really theres not a lot of negatives. Maybe a bit more seasoning in the burger patty and on the fries but it was nearly there. I'd go back and work out just what was going to be my new favourite burger, and have more of those crispy crunchy sweet potato fries.

Cracking sports bar on the main strip in PD. Had the NRL PRELIM footy on all TV’s (at full volume). The burgers and chips were some of the best me and the family have ever eaten. Craft beers for days. Happy hour. We will be back.

If you're looking for the best Vietnamese food in town, Viet Pho Cafe is the place to go! The large portions and reasonable prices make it a great value, and the flavors are top-notch. If you're feeling adventurous, try something off of the menu – you won't regret it.
Great food, great portion sizes, good prices. The service was quick and friendly. It was busy but it didn't feel crowded and it wasn't loud.
Ashleigh — Google review
Unfortunately, my experience here was quite disappointing, leading to a 2-star rating. The dish I ordered had a rather weird taste that I didn't find appealing, and it didn't feel particularly fresh, which was a letdown. The overall quality of the food was underwhelming. Adding to the less-than-stellar experience was the interaction with the staff, which I found to be fairly average and not particularly engaging or helpful. While I was hoping for a better meal, this visit unfortunately missed the mark in terms of both food quality and service.
Casey R — Google review
Great food and friendly staff. Their authentic Vietnamese Pho had a delicious broth and was served with the uncooked meat ready to be delicately cooked by the hot broth. The crispy pork belly was a sensational flavour bomb. Highly recommended!

Excellent Vietnamese food. Authentic Vietnamese flavours. Good balance of flavours. Had chicken salad, beef lemongrass, and braised barramundi. Sorry forgot to take the photos at the start of the meal!

The only noodle house around Port Douglas shopping centre. It’s good place to be. Big portions enough to hold all day hungers. Very pleasant service and this family business has running very long. Keep the good work.

Food portions were large but the pho broth wasn't the most tasty. Quick service, but no-very little inside seating.

The food was good quality but we had something missing from our order. When we asked about this the reception we got was terrible. The lady shouted at us in a very confronting manner. This was uncalled for and very embarrassing In front of other customers. This really let the experience down and they need to learn some more about customer service. Although th food was good, I wouldn't return.

Best Thai food I’ve had! I ate here twice during my trip because it was just that good. The dishes were packed with incredible flavour and the portion sizes were generous without being over the top. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. Highly recommend if you’re craving top-quality Thai food — can’t wait to come back!

During our visit, we experienced a mixed bag of culinary offerings. While the ambiance was welcoming, our dining experience was marked by varying levels of satisfaction with the dishes we sampled. We began with an order of curry puffs. Unfortunately, the puffs were overly doughy, which overshadowed the delicate flavours they should have presented. As a starter, they failed to set a promising tone for the meal. Our second dish, a massaman beef curry, was an undeniable highlight. Crafted with skill, the beef was tender, and the rich, aromatic flavours were beautifully balanced. It stood out as the most enjoyable aspect of our meal, showcasing the restaurant's potential for delivering authentic Thai cuisine. However, our third dish—a stir-fry of chicken with peanut sauce—fell significantly short of expectations. The absence of a robust peanut flavour left the dish feeling bland and uninspired, which was particularly disappointing given our enthusiasm for the combination of ingredients. In the end, we left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied with some of the dishes we ordered. While the massaman beef curry was exceptional, the inconsistency in the quality of the other dishes detracted from what could have been a memorable meal. This restaurant might be worth a visit if you're seeking specific dishes, but our experience suggests that not all menu items deliver the same level of excellence.

Awesome food, great service and nice restaurant! Does what it says on the tin - great authentic Thai food. I had the Pad See Mow and they were delicious. Not for the fainted hearted though, they were packed with chilli, fresh ginger and herbs - aswell as juicy prawns and tonnes of crunchy vegetables. Service was super quick and even though they were busy, had free tables with no wait. Definitely eat here if you’re passing through Port Douglas!

It’s been a year since we were here and once again thrilled to be back. Fantastic Thai, great staff. So much takeaway going out the door as well. A Port Douglas jewel not to be missed.

I enjoyed the 6 small dim Sims but Sue was disappointed with the burnt Pad See ew, you could smell the burnt food arriving, Sue tried eating before drawing it to their attention. The second one arrived very quickly and was not quite cooked, bad considering we came here a number of times in the past and were always happy.

One of the best authentic Thai food we have had since being in Thailand. Everything was amazing but we highly recommend the pad see ew.

Tried this place yesterday, the food was amazing, especially the chilli basil pork belly and the ginger chicken, the vegetables was very fresh. The special massaman beef was great as well. Very tender. I've tried many Thai places, this place is definitely in the top 3. The service was great too. Wish I taken some photos, but i forgot because the food was that good. Will come back again.

The Port Douglas Sugar Wharf is a must-see landmark with a rich history dating back to the late 1800s. Originally built for transporting various goods, it became associated with the sugar industry during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Overlooking Dickson Inlet at the end of the main street, it offers picturesque views and is a popular spot for photography.
Great views & Cocktails 🍸 👌 great food.

A pleasant wharf to visit at sunset, very close to St Mary's Church and not far form the Main Street in Port Douglas. Great for wedding venues or a spot of fishing.

Interesting little wharf with the building on the end which had a wedding going on inside the day i went. Bit of history too to the wharf. Good views of the surrounding area. Good parking nearby. Good place to visit.

Beautiful spot for contemplation of the waterfront of Port‘s Dickson Inlet overlooking the Coral Sea and Daintree Rainforest. The Sugar Wharf is historic old building was home to Ben Cropp and his “Shipwreck Museum” for many years but is now open to the public as a wonderful waterfront venue. It’s tucked away behind the St Mary’s by the Sea, a popular wedding chapel in Port Douglas with it’s own little beach and cove making it the perfect spot for your casual photos and to watch the sunset.

Nestled in the serene area of Four Mile Beach, Kai Port Douglas is a charming bistro that has quickly become a favorite among families and locals alike. Recently recognized as one of Far North Queensland's top family dining spots, this delightful eatery offers a unique twist on traditional pub fare. With dishes like yellow seafood curry, 24-hour smoked beef brisket, and barramundi paired with quinoa, even the pickiest eaters will find something to love.
First meal nowhere near Macrossin Street, Kai is situated 10 minutes out of town. It is still casual dining but the menu is a little more varied than we have seen else where. We ordered the Coral Trout Cevice, flat bread with burrata to start which were both very nice. Our mains included fish and chips, lip mussels in a spicy tomato broth, pan fried Coral Trout fillet in a delicious sauce. And amazing onion rings for the kids. We finished with homemade tiramisu their only dessert. The place is busy, everyone looked happy with their orders especially the lady on the table next to us who was served a mountain of baby back ribs which her whole family helped her eat. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely eat here again

Nothing bad to say about this place, it was our last night in Aus before we have to travel back to the UK. We definitely saved the best till last. Staff, food, service, everything was great. Compliments to the chefs.
Anthony F — Google review
Had starters and mains such as yellow seafood curry, oyster and steak. Full marks for the steak and the seafood curry but the oyster sauce was a bit salty. Portion size was generous with good pricing. Service is good. One mark less for the wait time being too long, however the staffs were really sweet.

Easy to reserve a table, friendly staff, absolutely scrumptious food! Best brisket dish in my life!!! A little out of the way but well worth the drive. There's also a sports bar right next door if you want a little bit more excitement or just want to meet up with friends before or after dinner

Regular visitor to Port Douglas and just learnt about Kai from the hotel we are staying at. Great local choice away from the bustle of the main st. Staff were lovely, breakfast was delicious. We'll be back to try dinner now we know about Kai.

Lovely place at the south end of Port Douglas. Staff were attentive and we ordered the octopus for me and the duck liver pâté for entré and the 24hr slow cook brisket and lamb shoulder desert was a crime brûlée. All were nicely presented and very tasty indeed.

TBH, I saw the Post Douglas Magazine and just stayed close by , so deciding to come and try. I like scrambled egg, so the miso scrambled egg will be my first choice ~ For the dish,, the egg and the toast part was fabulous, I just can’t eat the kimchi… it’s way too sour to me… if you could chop pans mixing with egg, and put more Korean chilli powder with the kimchi… I think that would be much better ! But general the miso scrambled was good 👍 I ordered iced mocha, I couldn’t finish it … maybe recently when I ordered iced mocha … what I got were made with vanilla ice cream instead of put ice-cube … so it was under my expectation … however … I think I shouldn’t take that ice cream thing on granted either as the chocolate drizzled on the side of cup as well 😂😂😂😂 Kombucha was nice 😊 by the way ~ 😍😍😍

Deli
Nestled in the heart of Port Douglas, Taste on Macrossan is a delightful café and deli that offers a unique blend of local flavors. This charming spot is perfect for stocking up on regional goodies like Daintree tea, aromatic coffee beans, crunchy macadamias, delicious jams, and fragrant vanilla beans. During my visit, I found myself yearning for a late breakfast after missing the usual cut-off time at other places.
The best eggs benedict i think i have ever had. Really good eggs (yamagishi free range) perfect salty smoked salmon, homemade hollandaise sauce to die for. it was a pleasure to eat here. Corn fritters were really good also.

i had a craving for a late cooked breakfast everywhere i went id missed it by the 1130am cut off by over an hour and no one would do it for me.walked into Taste of Macrossan i saw the cut off was also 1130am and was about to walk out till one of the waiters said are you ok? i told them i was after a late breakfast they could tell i only wanted this kind of food they happily asked the chef and he was fine with it.all the staff were very friendly and willing to help out, they also had a great sense of humour which i over heard in the back ground as they interacted with customers and each other.i happen to be a Chief Concierge for a busy 5 star resort and will be recommending this cafe/deli to our hotel guests.i looked at the menu and the food is really good and for a good value, so if you are about go in and check it out.
