Over-rated spot, coffee was average but their sweet was nice. Good customer service but were seated away from the view although i reserved before hand and the tables were empty. It seemed that we were expected to order lunch although they have a coffee menu..

Unfortunately, we couldn't get a table on the terrace as it was crowded, while the indoor area felt almost empty and quite warm. The food was delicious though, and we managed to take some nice photos outside with the view.

Very accommodating, modern bar. If you are in Genéve - and want a lively, yet peaceful retreat with fantastic vistas across the Lake and the city, this is the place to be. A photograph cannot compare to the real thing. Our drinks were made perfectly, they were fresh tasting, and the high-class liquor made great defense against the cold but gentle March evening breeze sweeping in from across the lake. We visited in the early spring of 2023, and I remember every taste, scent, sound and sensation I experienced sitting atop the city surrounded by mountains. You must visit. Thank you to all the team at the bar, that made our visit to Rooftop42 one that we will not forget!

Good to take some drinks in the outside for the sunset and in the inside for a lounge ambient.

This is my honest review of the restaurant Rooftop 42 in downtown Geneva. On the eighth floor, this place has a beautiful view over the lake with a sizable terrace. We had a big table with 11 persons. The service was very pleasant and timely. My food was very good from start to finish. I would highly recommend for business lunch on a sunny day. I don’t know the price as the lunch was offered.

Fabulous night at rooftop 42 with live music and great DJ with salsa and Latin music. There was a rum tasting that was really fun. All the waiters were dressed up very festive and service was excellent. I had a wonderful signature cocktail with vanilla vodka, cointreau and strawberry puree that was incredible. Such a nice night!

A rare gem in Geneva’s nightlife scene. This stylish bar, nestled just steps from the luxury hotels along the lakefront, is a true standout. The atmosphere inside is electric—refined yet vibrant. It’s very popular, so getting a table can be tricky, especially late at night. But the staff went above and beyond to find us a spot, even close to midnight. We were pleasantly surprised to find delicious sushi and other Japanese-inspired dishes served at such a late hour—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We also enjoyed several glasses of excellent champagne, with a wide selection to choose from. As a kind gesture, they also brought us a small plate of macarons and fresh berries to finish the meal—an elegant touch that perfectly capped the evening. The ambiance is what truly makes this place special. Elegant guests, great energy, people dancing, and live music—a singer with a stunning voice alternating with a DJ during the breaks. The lighting is just right: warm and dim enough to create atmosphere, without being too dark. Yes, prices are on the higher side, but absolutely worth it for the quality, the service, and the experience. A perfect spot for a late-night dinner or drinks in Geneva.

First time at the Leopard Room, I had an excellent service, people very friendly and had the most enjoyable time.

I am a resident in Geneva who is accustommed to frequenting elegant venues. My friend and I were greeted extremely disrespectfully by the bouncer who turned us away very arrogantly. The approach was very misogynistic and judgmental . I would not recommend this venue to anyone, it was a very humiliating experience. Stay away.

Our host Marcello is a very knowledgeable and friendly fellow. He's there to help you. The staff are very nice. I would recommend it for having a nice cigar moment

This room bar and lounge is one of the loveliest places of Geneva. I’m sure you will see it soon, because inside it's everything so.. Leopard! Cocktails are perfects: thanks to all the crew, we tasted a lot of different gins, vodka, and goes on :-) I surely recommend this place because the quality is the high (and prices following a little this, but it’s not for all!).

The man at the entrance are rude to girls and they look up and down been really judgmental and try to consider and put us in a prostitute category when I was out with my friend and wanted to go in a bar, refused our entry. Plus the place looks empty. Bad vibes ,dont go here!

Great place to watch big sporting events. The food is also underrated. Loved my brownies sundae. But it's the prompt service, plethora of screens, and ambience that makes this pub legendary.

Had gone there to watch tennis wimbledon final match. They had put projector screen along with so many TVs. It was an amazing experience. Not to mention the amazing margheritta. Overall it was a lively place to go to.

First time grabbing a burger and fries from Pickwick's since May 2007, which was the summer I returned to the US with my family and their food and atmosphere is still like a true English pub ;P

We were looking for a more normal and less ‘Swiss’ meal and this pub certainly provided a good value experience. The meals were of good quality and value by Geneva’s standards. The staff were friendly and as it was a quiet night the service was prompt and the there was minimal atmosphere in the building! Overall a positive experience and we would eat there again

It's a fantastic sports bar. Probably the best place in Geneva to watch live sports - you will always have a good crowd to watch the event with. The service is good, and the food and drinks are great!

We went there recently for the Navy Night and really enjoyed it! The food was very good, and the location of the bar especially in summer is so relaxing and beautiful. The show was amazing and added a really special touch to the evening. Everyone was super friendly, and the atmosphere overall was great. The only thing we noticed was that we had to wait quite a while (about 20 minutes) for our drinks. Also, it seemed like most of the staff (maybe hosts or waitresses?) didn’t really come over on their own, we had to approach them first to get served. They were all very friendly, just maybe not so attentive or proactive. Still, it was a lovely evening, and we really appreciated the energy of the place!

On the pricy side, but the drinks are worth it. Had a mojito and gin. Presentation was very classy. Nice place by the river to relax and have a drink. They have happy hour from 6pm i think. The dumplings were fantastic

My wife and I saw Arthur's while touring the city and it looked like a great place to end our trip. We were immediately greeted and sat outside by the water. The wait staff had to move us because the table turned out to be reserved but Francesco was apologetic and sat us at a nearby table with a better water view. He brought a free appetizer to make up for the inconvenience and made sure we were cared for the whole time. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the rest of the evening drinking and enjoying the river as the sun set. It might be a small thing but the free appetizer started the evening off right especially since we were so hungry. We're glad we visited and want to thank Francesco for a great experience!

Central restaurant with good service and nice food! There’s was no need for a reservation, they had lots of free spots when we arrived. Our waiter was kind and looked after all the guests. I really enjoyed my meal, and my Apple martini was delicious! Would recommend both!

The location and ambience are good, always a pleasure to be there and to unwind, often with a client. Unfortunately, the service has been deteriorating rapidly, to the point where it now borders on arrogance and ignorance. It’s disheartening to see such a good place being dragged down by the attitude of its staff. On our last visit, we had to wait far too long before even being able to place our order. Staff were present but seemingly more occupied with themselves than with guests. After repeated attempts to get their attention, our order was finally taken, a full 15 minutes after we arrived. The service at the bar is especially disappointing. The person behind the counter came across as ego-driven, unwilling to support the team, and apparently too lazy to bring drinks to the table. The overall impression is that customers are an inconvenience rather than a priority…. a truly client-unfocused approach that feels both arrogant and disrespectful.

Very basic and frankly unappetising food. Also the food presentation was pretty pathetic. Service was good and atmosphere is very nice in the old town of Geneva. But, frankly many better places for good Italian food nearby

I totally enjoyed this restaurant. Had the cheeseburger and red wine. High quality food/drink. The staff was amazing. A few days later I came back for lunch and they remembered the wine I had ordered. I did outdoor seating one day, and indoor the other.

In this restaurant you find lovely, delicious food and great drinks! You can stop by during the afternoon for a coffee or for dinner. Good, delicate flavours. Will be back!

They offer great apetizers, club sandwiches, burgers, tartares, salads, tagines and many more! The price isn't too expensive comparing to the quality and service, and to the other restaurants in Geneva! Great place for groups and nice little terrace looking out onto the down town.

Nice place in Old Town Geneva where you can enjoy a meal outside, a bit out of the way of the noisy crowds. The burgers are delicious and they have a great selection of cocktails. For visitors to Switzerland, the prices will seem very high, but they are consistent with other dining out options.

We found this restaurant because the chef is Michlin star, as well as the restaurant and boy oh boy, it did not disappoint! Everything from the pairing of wines and chefs menu was divine and the staff was perfect. Worth every penny. Highly recommend 👌 and the area around is very cute to walk. You will enjoy a wonderful evening in a relaxed and comfortable space.

I had a 5 course set menu for lunch and love it. It would have been great if the main course was bigger. But I still give 5 for the food. The service was quick and the waiter was very friendly. I will definitely go back soon.

Picked the 5 course menu. As a Michelin 1 star restaurant, the dishes lack creativity and structure. Novel technique was used in most dishes, the combination of ingredients are not a good marriage. Service was good overall.

Had the 5-course “Le Flacon” tasting menu during our last visit in November 2023 and, as always, it was a perfectly executed: beautiful ingredients, beautifully cooked and beautifully plated. A whole lot of beautiful! Add attentive staff, a pleasant interior and a lovely wine list and you’ll understand why Le Flacon remains a firm 1 Michelin star favorite.

Always lovely to dine there, but last night was exceptional. Current menu is outstanding, many compliments to the chef, it was great. Service is always lovely, and the vine choices were spot on. Try mushrooms entree with biodynamic vine :)

We were offered a choice of five or seven course menu - we went with the seven and I enjoyed every dish. They have a good selection of wines as well. I would like to specifically point out the service which was exceptionally good.

Wow - exceptional food and service. We had the 5 course tasting menu. Generous amuse bouche, two amazing fish dishes, a lovely meat dish with mashed potato, a cheese platter and two (!) desserts! The wine list was impressive with detailed knowledge from the staff. Would totally come back to this place to treat myself.

Bummed we couldn't be there for live music, but the beer and burger were still great. The staff enjoyed a good banter with us as we ordered and throughout our meal. We shared their big multi patty burger, which was humongous and came with yummy french fries. The beer was refreshing and reasonably priced.

We are in the industry and the bartenders were absolutely amazing despite this place looking like a little dive bar/club - which we loved! we had espresso martinis and only tried the cheese fries which were very nice.

Very nice place with alternative nights and hosting a great variety of artists. Love going there for a drink. They also serve food (vegetarian friendly too) which is very good but a little bit expensive. So occasionally for a meal but without moderation for a drink!

Bar for kids. All people tatooed, even in their skulls; almost ridiculous probably too much. When you ask fir a half pint and you get a complete pint, you understand they don’t give a fuck; specially when they burp in front of you. Cocktails were great and the bartender was great. Prices were reasonable. But during another Covid spike for the city they let everyone into the bar until it was packed. The waitresses could barely walk between tables. Then when we stood up the hostess yelled at us to sit down or immediately put on a mask. I am ok with masks but she should have said it without yelling. I would go back but not until Covid has calmed down.

This establishment is a delightful English pub, offering the opportunity to enjoy a variety of English sports. They offer a diverse selection of beers on tap, along with a traditional pub menu. I thoroughly enjoyed a pleasant dessert. The staff, who are fluent in English, are known for their politeness, helpfulness, and efficiency. I was delighted to find that they were showing the English women's football team's Euro game against Holland, which was displayed on all the screens and featured English commentators. It was pleasing to observe the promotion of women's football.

Monday nights became my favorite day of the week because of Trivia Nights at Lady Godiva! Such an amazing atmosphere, and all staff are so kind and attentive. Would recommend it to anyone looking for fun nights and will definitely be bringing all friends and visitors here. Great selection of drinks and food too!

A nice Pub ideally for watching Live Sports on several big screens. A big variety of excellent tap beers, very international. My Burger was very good. I went there to watch a football match and they were showing several Sport events simultatanously, so don‘t expect to understand every single word of the commentary 🤣 the staff is so extraordinary friendly and helpful. Nice guys!

Shared a bar platter with the wife then watched the World Cup final here. Staff are fantastic, atmosphere was great, drinks are rather pricey (18 franc cocktails!). Lots of TVs for sports. Small mixup with the bill at the end, but understandable as place was rammed. Will come again.

This is your standard English pub! Exactly what you can expect :) burgers and fish’n’chips on the menu, huge selection of beer, good sports on the tv screens and friendly staff. I had the godiva burger and it was ok! Fries were less good, but they were included.

Stylish and chill bar in Geneva. Loved the atmosphere, loved drinks. You can pick any cocktail and it’ll be a hit. The Electric Yuzu was like nothing else I’ve ever tried — definitely my favorite. Also tried the Mango Loco, which was wonderfully heady in the best way. Had a great time here.

Amazing cocktail place. exactly the type of cocktail bar I love, with dedicated, knowledgeable staff and original, one of a kind recipes. Everything we tried was great and our server - unfortunately we forgot his name - was the best! We even got digestive shots on the house, with a cool love story behind the liquor 🥃 totally recommended.

Such a cool spot! Le Verre à Monique nails the vintage speakeasy vibe with incredible attention to detail. The cocktails are creative and expertly crafted, and the staff are true professionals who love what they do. They regularly change the menu with fun, seasonal themes. Easily one of Geneva’s best cocktail bars.

Great ambience and service! The staff is entertaining and knowledgeable. The bartender and the manager are brothers, both are very creative, always coming up with delicious twists on classics (and winning competitions!) The cook/barback Ayu is curmudgeonly in the most charming way.

Super chill mature ambiance. The cocktails and the services are excellent. Great for couples, girls night or group outings.

The bouncers are cool, the vibe is quite solid. One of the better spots for traditional clubbing in Geneva. You might feel a bit old depending on the night you're there but overall its a solid place to spend a night out

The drinks are ridiculously expensive but they fact that up charge foreigners is insane. 1 whiskey & coke and a vodka redbull cost me CHF 75. I saw a local order the exact same thing and he said it costed him CHF 60. As a foreigner I strongly recommend going somewhere else!!

Very unfriendly staff (especially bouncer who clearly doesn't have a policy on dress code he sticks to since a friend of mine was denied entry even though she was far better dressed than some people who got in). Overpriced drinks and not that great of an atmosphere.

This place is severely overrated. The drinks are stupid expensive and not really that good. Save your money.

Great place, the problem is that you will only be well attended if you buy a drink combo, which will entitle you to stay in a specific area! If you are just going to visit and have a drink, the service is horrible.Employees pass you by to deliver the combos in the areas and simply bump into you, the service is only differentiated for regular customers! Visitors are not welcome if they don't buy the drink combo.

Went to this club yesterday and was kinda disappointed. The club looks fabulous, staff very polite, drinks are expensive but that’s to be expected in Genève. We were really surprised by the crowd tho. I would say that the average age was around 18-19, and I swear that some girls were not even 18! The atmosphere and the overall behavior of the “kids” there was NOT what you would expect from an establishment that calls itself a luxury club. Also, don’t even get me started on the music. Who would want to listen to mama Mia songs in a club?

Very nice bar, loved the aesthetics and good cocktails too. I got the Mediterrean Breeze and the Japanese Cucumber and they were tasty. The staff was pleasant and the music was nice too although it was a bit mix because it started from commercial 2010s and then house/tech. The prices are normal for Switzerland, 18 CHF for one cocktail.

Highly recommend. Our experience included some of the best service: welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable. Our server told us what made the bar and their cocktails unique then made great recommendations. The cocktails themselves were crafted very well. Later in the night the place got crowded and without reservations we we're glad to have gotten there early. Prices weren't unexpected and are transparently listed on their website anyways.

This place does surprisingly great food for a bar! I particularly loved the tortilla chips with guacamole 😍. The k burger had too much ginger for me but that’s just my preference, I’ll try another one next time. Price is usual for Geneva. Great non-alcoholic cocktails too.

Unpleasant experience on a Thursday at 19h00. Would not recommend this place, unfortunately, due to the absent and inconsiderate service. Our wine glasses were served to our table by the bartender dripping wet. It wouldn’t have been an issue, however, we noticed other customers’ weren’t served that way. After taking our order initially, the server never came back over an 1hr15min span, although the restaurant was not busy at all. I asked for the manager to discuss the service and that person never came. Good, drinkable wine though, I guess.

Just popped in for a drink but the food looked class. Great drinks menu, fantastically delivered. I was in early doors, music was on point for a quieter moment, I'd have stayed longer if I could have.

Unfortunately I have had multiple disappointing experiences at this venue. The security personnel / bouncers are unnecessarily aggressive, rude, and completely lack professionalism. From unwanted attention to being physically assaulted (pushed), the most recent experience involved one of the security personnel publicly singling me out, without providing any explanation. Their behavior created a very unwelcoming and uncomfortable environment so I left immediately. I am also reporting this to the Direction directly. I would not recommend you go here, especially if female. I see other reviews saying the same. A real shame as the rest of the team are excellent but ultimately, take your money somewhere safer.

Typical bouncer ego. I thought we had moved on from those, where they just want pretty girls and to feel empowered. 🙄 only tried to go there because Bottle Brothers was too busy inside, so just went back to Bottle Brothers.

A warning to anyone considering stepping into this place: not only do they disrespect guests, but they physically assault them too! Security here doesn’t protect—you’ll be lucky if they don’t attack you. You call this a luxury establishment? I call it a disgrace. I hope this story spreads and justice is served. Well atmosphere is “festive” great to have drinks and go clubbing downstairs …. however staff is not particularly friendly, they know their bar is successful and treat you like you are just here to pay and that’s it. It is quite packed on weekends and you cannot even sit, so not that comfortable to have drinks even if you are at a table, it is so packed someone bumps into you every now and then

Bought a ticket for Bob Sinclair 1 month before the event. Waited for 1.5 hours in line to get in, and at 2 am we were told that there was not enough place to get in so we should stand in another line for getting a reimbursement. The bouncer managing the tables at the entrance is not professional and insulted me. Curious to see if I get my money back.

Nice club if you are with a big group of friends. Entry fee of 30 CHF, but it comes with a free drinks. There is a long pants dress code. Music is a bit too loud and there’s a lot smoke inside.

I’ve been coming here for quite some time and want to share my experience. Security is usually friendly and professional and wait times aren’t too long when there aren’t any special events. The place embodies a luxury atmosphere but is pretty limited with tables taking majority of the space while the dance floor is small. While the bar is long, spreading across the side of the room, there is only one bartender at a time. I recommend getting a few drinks at once as it can take up to an hour to order. The bartender is very slow and it’s quite disappointing that the bar space isn’t being used to its full extent after all this time. The woman’s bathroom has two stalls but they almost never have any toilet paper and both are usually quite dirty. The man’s bathroom (according to my boyfriend) is even dirtier with no private stalls at all. The music is diverse and I recommend checking their Insta for DJs and music type of the night as they vary. The biggest issue that I’ve had with Baroque are the lights. Usually, and in every other club I’ve been to, lights flicker during a beat drop but here they never really stop. Since the place is small, dancing on the actual dance floor is next to impossible without almost having a seizure. It’s to the point you get dizzy, blind and nauseous. It’s so frustrating as this issue is so easily solvable. While there are clearly some noticeable flaws, this is the only luxury club in Geneva who guarantees the level of class and safety that many look for here.

I had a disappointing experience at The Baroque. From the start, the security staff came across as extremely arrogant, acting as if they held positions of major authority, which felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Inside, the club itself wasn’t anything special — the atmosphere and music were average at best. What really stood out, however, was the lack of proper supervision. I saw several guests smoking indoors and behaving inappropriately towards women, with no reaction from the security team. A group of girls even had to come near us to get away from uncomfortable advances. Meanwhile, the security seemed much more focused on chatting with drunk young women than doing their actual job. This selective attention and lack of professionalism left a very negative impression. Definitely not a place I’d recommend or return to.

Terrible Club – Don’t Bother Baroque Club is a waste of time. The bouncers are stupid and useless, more focused on power trips than doing their job. Inside, the drinks are overpriced, the music is bad, and the atmosphere is dead. Staff are arrogant and unprofessional. There’s nothing enjoyable about this place — avoid it completely.

BEWARE!! BEWARE!! BEWARE!! My friend and I went there a few months ago and while there was no one in line the bouncer asked us 800CHF in order to go into the club only because we were Americans while other people were charged 30CHF to go into the club. Definitely one of THE WORST experiences I ever had and ever encountered this is something that I will remember and not for good. If you’re not from Geneva or speak French I would STAY AWAY from this club it is not worth your time and definitely not worth your money.

Tables over priced, feels like I entered a persons basement with a few decorations. Body guards feel like they’re there to beat u up rather than keep u safe. Extremely overpriced and no one ever dances, just smoke. Speaking of smoke they have a smoke room but apparently also allow smoking in the main room so you’d fine yourself smelling cigarettes for the whole night. For my sake, don’t waste your time on the price of crap and go to clubs like village du soir which have such a better ambience and actual effort there.

Came at about 9pm on a Saturday evening and was only a small handful of people in there. Service was very good- staff friendly and attentive. Cocktails are expensive but the view at night is stunning and that's what you're paying for.

Second floor view of Lake Geneva, combined with a happening nightlife, makes this bar a great place to visit after 10pm. Here you will find men and women of all ages congregate. Premium priced drinks will follow. It would not be surprising to see mature couples on a date, sitting next to a large group of college boys out prowling for the night. The view is absolutely worth reserving a table for. Directly across the lake from the fountain, you will be treated to a show all night long. Service is solid, but slows significantly when it's packed of course.

After a conference we went upstairs to get a drink . A young barman was cold and unfriendly. I took a virgin pina colada which was awful: very small glass with mainly ice in it. The coconut purée was full of lumps. And the glass very costly. This is not acceptable for a place like that.

Floor Two Bar is a gorgeous place, the cocktails are amazing, there is a very large choice of drinks (with and without alcohol). But the best part is probably the warm welcome and the kindness of the staff. If you are in Geneva you have to go there!

Stunning views of lake Geneva, the Jet d’Eau and the city. The service is absolutely horrific and unprofessional. The staff has more fun welcoming and chatting what seems to be friends and regulars who walk in and out without even having a drink I stead of looking after the guests. Definitely not a bar I’d recommend.

Tried this barber for the first time today, Junior cut my hair. Very impressed with the service, did not have to wait at 6pm on a Friday. Junior cut my hair exactly how I like it, he took his time and made sure he did not miss anything. As a bonus, he used the straight razor to tidy up the back of my neck and styled my hair. I paid 27CHF which is 2CHF more than i used to pay, but the service and quality of the haircut is 10 times better. Will definitely be returning for Junior to cut my hair again. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

The food was delicious! I had the Lasagna Bolognese and the Rosti with all the extra stuff and it was delicious! You can sit outside and they have plants aligned with the tables so it feels a little more private on the sidewalk. Not many people can see through the bushes. But the bad part is that so many people smoke outside, which is gross and terrible for you, and I don’t want that smell/smoke around my food.

Our hotel was next door so we found ourselves stopping here nightly. Everyone was so friendly and we quickly felt like locals while on vacation. Food was all delicious and the atmosphere was great for people watching! We will absolutely be back! 🫕

Decent food (flammenkueches and brasseur burger) and a decent blonde beer. Very quiet on the Monday afternoon we went. The staff were friendly with the children and service (time) was acceptable. If you want to try locally brewed beer then stop here.

The perfect dinner to end our stay in Geneva! We had rosti with raclette and ham, and sauerkraut sausages. Both our server Oliver and manager Komla were attentive and accommodating. The location is right by the Cornavin bus/tram stops and train station, so it's easy to get to.

Their flammkuchen was quite bad: the dough was chewy. The burgers and fries looked better, but I didn't try them. The service was quick and friendly!

The restaurant has two floors – a bar downstairs and a dining area upstairs. There is both an outdoor terrace and an indoor section with an open kitchen you can look into. Every day there are large cuts available that are not listed on the menu, and the Wagyu tomahawk is highly recommended! Service is quick, the wines are rather expensive compared to similar restaurants, but the foie gras is excellent. There is also a wide selection of desserts. This place is definitely recommended for meat lovers!

Overall very good experience. Went there for a nice 3 course lunch menu. Fair price value ratio in Geneva with good service. Especially recommend when going for a business lunch. The setting is quiet, conversations can happen without talking too loud.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner here on a Monday Eve. Only complaint would be the fact that there was no one really in the restaurant and we were placed directly next to an occupied table. Presuming busy time was about an hour after we arrived, it was somewhat understandable but truly unnecessary. The food was fantastic. And overall, the noise was very minimal even once the restaurant filled.

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday. It’s quite an expensive place, so our expectations were high. I ordered the wagyu beef burger, medium rare. Unfortunately, the first one was disappointing: after a few bites I noticed a burnt taste. Upon checking, it was indeed overcooked and definitely not medium rare. After mentioning this, I eventually received a replacement burger, which was prepared better. Still, the unpleasant taste of the first one lingered and overshadowed the experience. The service also left something to be desired; the staff made us feel rather unwelcome and seemed to look past us instead of making us feel at home. The restaurant wasn’t busy at the time, which made the poor service and the mistake with the food even more noticeable. For the price point, I had expected a much better experience.

The location was great. The grill has both an indoor area and a terrace. By 7 PM on Friday it was quite empty, that made me surprised. The food was good — not amazing, but enjoyable. The staff were nice and welcoming. It’s quite expensive, but that’s typical for good places in Geneva. :)

Chez Philippe is definitely our favorite place whenever we visit Geneva, the food, cocktails, and atmosphere are absolutely amazing. The menu features exquisite French-inspired dishes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the creative cocktail selection perfectly complements every meal. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with elegant decor that creates a truly memorable dining experience. However, it can get quite packed, especially on weekends, so make sure you book your reservation well in advance to secure a table. Highly recommended!

We are staying in Beau-Rivage for two nights and had dinner at Chat- Botte. We had a wonderful dinner experience tonight. The atmosphere here is just perfect, staff were amazing, impeccable service and great hospitality. Of course, everyone speaks English very well. All the dishes were fantastic with stylish presentation and very delicate flavors. The champagne we ordered is something we have never seen the label before. The taste was smooth and enjoyable to us. A great fine dining experience in Geneva.. we had the vegetal tasing menu and it was lovely. It was asparagus season so that was highlighted, so it maybe made some of the courses somewhat redundant. But between the ambiance, presentation, and service, it was a treat!

1. They struggled with finding my reservation name as I have a Korean name, better to book a simpler name if you have a unique name. However, other hotels never struggled so it was a bit weird. 2. The food was artistic, overall, the food was wonderful but one fish menu tasted a bit sour, and raw cooking. We told it honestly as they asked how it was, but it was just asking, not like a real service checkup. 3. Their service was nice and educated like any other hotels, but we had a problem with ‘water’. Since it was tap water, we didn’t expect to pay, but they charged 18chf. As we mentioned to one waiter, another waitress came and this is for filtered water charge, but she will change the check. Then another waitress came and she removed 9chf, but as it is service charge, we need to pay. They didn’t pour more water and what service they did with that tap water😂 As I express unhappiness, a sommelier came and said it’s filtered and he understood we wanted not tap water but filtered one. Because of ‘tap water’, total four staffs came and made all the excuses. The luxury service should be flexible and considerable if there is a problem, NOT making four staffs to say excuses. That’s what I experienced from other hotels and what I got educated from hotel school. If it is bottle of water, I get it why I need to pay, we are in Switzerland and which hotel makes tap water to pay. With the rule of ordering at least one drink per guest, it would be more acceptable if one staff talked in that way, though I never see one hotel tried me to charge because of tap water in Switzerland. Plus, I ordered one champagne glass for the manner🤣🤣 As it was my fiance’s birthday, I didn’t want to complain that much, but in the end, the happiness was ruined, I really want them to think about the guest view. They come with high expectations and spend this restaurant for the best experience. I book our wedding venue in Beau rivage so I hope they improve the service and next tasting experience would be better than this.

Had dinner with my wife last Thursday. It was a great experience both culinary and service-wise. The dishes of the 5 course signature menu were exquisite, the wine - Pinot Noir from Grisons - delicious and the service provided by 3 ladies extremely courteous, effective and fun! Overall pleasant lunch, great service and attentive. As advice I suggest to not sit close to the entrance as I asked to close the door due to the noise from the bar but they said that the entrance had to stay open... The food is high quality, well presented small portions, I personally liked everything except the tiramisu that I would have kept on a traditional way, this kind of semifreddo was not tasty and difficult to eat. Instead very suggested is the affogato!! Overall I recommend but for the price, I was a little upset by these two aforementioned things.

An unbeatable buffet brunch experience. You really just want to eat it all. The presentation is impeccable and the food itself is top notch. A special thank you to the door man at the Ritz Carlton who directed us here as the Living Room at the Ritz was fully booked. An even extra big thank you to the door man at The Four Seasons who ushered us in on arrival and took us straight to Il Lago because he knew the experience we were looking for.

We had a super nice lunch. We last visited the restaurant back in a January 2019. It was as good as we remember it was last time we visited. The restaurant is really nice and the staff are all very friendly and service oriented. The truffle pasta is really good, some of the best I ever had. We will be back soon again.

was greeted promptly by the host and was sat in a nice corner of the restaurant. atmosphere was packed with nice decor and lighting. food was amazing, a good balance between peruvian and japanese cuisine, especially since both has its unique elements. kudos to the exec chef and kitchen team! beef tataki was a good starter with a hint of spiciness from the mustard and kimchi mayo. ceviche in lèche de tigre was very fresh. their lomo saltado went so well with their choclo jasmine rice as well. was stuffed for this meal and definitely will be back when i’m in geneva!

Alma brings a vibrant and elevated take on Peruvian cuisine right into the heart of Geneva. The space is stylish, the atmosphere buzzing, and the experience consistently well-executed from start to finish. We started with two outstanding ceviches — one with tuna and another with sea bass. Both were incredibly fresh, zesty, and full of character. The beef tiradito was also a standout: beautifully sliced, perfectly seasoned, and a bold alternative to the classic fish version. On the mains, we tried lomo saltado-style beef — tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection — a great choice for meat lovers. The cocktails were equally impressive: creative, well-balanced, and served with flair. The wine list is diverse and complements both seafood and meat dishes well. Service was warm, informed, and attentive throughout. While prices are definitely on the premium side, the quality of the food, presentation, and overall experience make it worth it.

You simply can’t visit Geneva without dining at Alma. It’s the best Peruvian cuisine I’ve ever had. The empanadas are perfectly executed, the ceviche is the freshest and most flavorful I’ve ever tasted, and the beef tataki is just outstanding. Highly recommended if you’re visiting the city

Had high hopes, but sadly left disappointed. Small portions in a loud hall made it a less than ideal environment try to enjoy the food - which was just ok. Yucitan fries were undercooked, calamari sauce lacked any flavor, and the guacamole and chips were nothing special. The mains (pictured - valued at around CHF 70!) were ok, but nothing standout. Service was friendly but not quick, so I probably would not come back, especially at 90 CHF per person for 1 drink, starter, and main each…

Stopped for lunch and fortunately got a very helpful waiter. Ordered the croque Madame with soup and it was really nice at 18.50 euros ! Overall ok

What a lovely bar nestled in the heart of Geneva's charming old town! The local beer is delightful, and the service is quite commendable. The prices are reasonable as well, making it a wonderful spot to enjoy.

This is one of the best places in Geneva’s Old Town to hang out solo or with companions. It is perfect for drinks and appetisers (no food) after work or on the weekend. The drinks are a little pricey but won’t break your bank, and the great ambience esp on warm sunny days and evenings make it worthwhile. The waiting staff are super attentive and offer an excellent service. Definitely worth a visit.

This cafe has a nice and large terras on the square, amongst many other cafes, and it is nice sitting there to relax. We came for lunch and they have a small list of daily dishes on offer. We took their greek salade, and that tasted quite good, although the portion is rather small for a lumch and also considering the price charged. As others remarked, the servers are all good-looking, professional and very competent.

The lunch here is superb. We were on a 3 day stay in Geneva and sat here for lunch, not expecting to eat some of the best food on the trip! We got the chicken pasta (dish of the day) and the dish with shredded duck with Foie Gras sauce. It was so good, that we tried to go back for dinner on our last day, but unfortunately this place does not serve dinner. The Atmosphere is probably fine if you are ok with cigarette smoke. lots and lots of the patrons smoke and the square is misty. I didn't appreciate it, but the food was absolutely worth it! USA visitors should definitely go. I haven't had food this good even in LA (my hometown) it's very close to the lake & and 2 minutes walk from the ST. Pierre cathedral.

We had high expectations for a Michelin-starred experience, but unfortunately it fell short. First, there was no air conditioning, and the dining room was uncomfortably hot. The only dish we truly enjoyed was the eggplant appetizer — it was excellent. However, the filet de perche main course was undercooked, had a noticeably fishy taste, and the menu did not make it clear it would be prepared in an “sous vide” style. I also ordered spaghetti with tomato sauce, but was served spaghetti with tuna flakes and not a trace of tomatoes : very fishy again, though the pasta itself was cooked well. Overall, for the price and Michelin reputation, the experience was disappointing. The service however was beyond excellent. Expect a four seasons treatment.

Exceptional service! I immediately understood why this place has a Michelin star. We had the medium sized tasting menu with a wine pairing and it was sooo good. The aubergine dish was one of the best I’ve ever had. Obviously this level of cooking doesn’t come without its price tag, so make sure it’s a special night.

Mixed experience for me. Whole food delivery took 4hrs. I was really bored at some point. Plant based food was a challenge for chefs that most likely do not eat things like that. Everything was green, with repeating asparagus, at the end I decided to skip dessert as I was sure it will be green too. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty, but presentation wise it looked green mash, followed by more green mash. I'm sure there are more appealing possibilities. We are talking here about Italian cuisine !!!

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Tosca in Eaux-Vives neighborhood, Geneva, Switzerland. The restaurant had just reopened following some interior renovations, particularly in terms of its decoration. The dining room was stunning — the original barococo elements had been preserved, with a majestic grand piano at the center and gallery-worthy artwork beautifully hung on the walls. We were also fortunate to have a pianist perform live that evening, with a repertoire ranging from classical to jazz, pop, and rock — adding an incredible touch of elegance and emotion to the night. The service throughout the evening was warm and attentive. Even the menu set the tone for what was to follow: it opened with elegant illustrations and thoughtful explanations of the restaurant’s origins, its ties to opera and Tuscany, and was richly adorned with photos from across Italy — especially Lombardy. As a photographer, it was a true visual treat. We began with a few amuse-bouches — not the most memorable part of the meal in terms of flavor, but still a thoughtful and pleasant start. The sturgeon carpaccio, marinated and hay-smoked, was a highlight: beautifully plated, perfectly seasoned, and a joy to eat. Then came the Ravioli del Plin, filled with guinea fowl and topped with a 36-month aged parmesan and a deeply flavorful salmì sauce. This was the standout dish of the night — rich, balanced, and unforgettable. It’s clearly a signature dish, and rightfully so, having remained on the menu even after the recent relaunch. Next, we tried the medium paccheri with seafood, accompanied by a sea-water-infused verbena. The shrimp were perfectly cooked with a slight natural sweetness. The pasta was perhaps just a touch too al dente for my taste, but still excellent overall. The main course was a steamed wild turbot filet, served with zucchini and zucchini flowers and a red wine jus. The fish was delicately cooked, pearly and tender — a testament to the chef’s respect for top-quality ingredients. Although several desserts on the menu caught our eye, my friend asked the chef — who had personally visited tables to chat with guests, which we truly appreciated — if he could prepare a tiramisu, even though it wasn’t listed. To our delight, he kindly agreed, and the result was delicious. We even managed to get a photo with the chef, a gracious and talented host. In the end, the overall value for such a refined experience was excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a sophisticated and memorable Italian meal in a beautiful setting.

This is my honest review of the restaurant L’Aparté, inside Hotel Royal in Geneva, Switzerland. An exceptional dining experience! We opted for the six-course surprise menu, which, along with two bottles of champagne, turned out to be very reasonably priced given the outstanding quality of the food. The meal started with a variety of amuse-bouches, each offering distinct and vibrant flavors that awakened the palate. This was followed by two different starters, with the standout dish being a perfectly cooked scallop that left a lasting impression. The main courses were equally remarkable. The cod fillet was beautifully prepared, enhanced by a variety of well-balanced flavors, while the pork from Jussy (Geneva canton) was exquisitely cooked and paired with a delightful sauce. In fact, every dish featured unique and carefully crafted sauces with spices that brought a refreshing twist to the flavors, creating a perfect harmony across the courses. We opted for the cheese selection, which included four pre-selected cheeses. While we didn’t get to choose them individually, the selection was interesting—though the order of tasting could be debated. Dessert preceded by a pre-dessert were both delicious, but the savory courses impressed me the most. The service was impeccable, with the chef personally presenting each dish at the table. While he didn’t speak English, a waiter seamlessly translated his explanations for the English speakers in our group. The staff was extremely attentive and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. The restaurant’s ambiance was elegant, with a beautifully crafted wooden table for six, offering both style and comfort. Tables were well spaced, allowing for relaxed conversations, and the decor was tastefully done. As for parking, they offer a valet service, which can initially be a bit tricky to locate. However, by following the reception’s directions, the valet service turned out to be efficient and convenient, providing quick access to the hotel. Overall, a truly memorable evening—I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a refined and creative culinary experience!

Truly exceptional! First, the food demonstrated thoughtfulness and skill. They perfectly accommodated our dietary restrictions — me being vegan and my husband allergic to shellfish — despite their usual menu that evening being heavy in shellfish. We did the seven course option and the food was better than some two and three star Michelin restaurants we’ve enjoyed. Perhaps the best meal we’ve had. The only course that fell flat for me was the 6th, the vegan pre-dessert, which was a dish of strawberries and strawberry gel. I like strawberries as much as the next person, but would have liked a little more variety in this dish. The best courses were the carrot carpaccio second course and the celeriac fourth course, both of which were downright phenomenal. Second, the drinks! Their sommelier is personable and suggested great wines. The cocktails I enjoyed — a cucumber cocktail with gin and an espresso martini — were delicious pairings. Third, the service — despite us having limited French skills, the chef visited our table to introduce every course, translated by the manager. The manager was also wonderful to chat with!

The good thing about business trips is that you can conquer new culinary destinations. And so yesterday I was able to enjoy an evening of indulgence in a class of its own at L'Aparté. The surprise menu by Armel Bedouet and his team was a culinary delight, served and explained by the master himself. I was really blown away by some of the courses. It was accompanied by great drinks and very pleasant service. An all-round sensational treat.

Amazing restaurant! Really good service, chef was explaining everything in French and a waiter was translating for us in English! If you visit Geneva try it and go for the Discovery menu! Upcoming restaurant that will gain a lot of attention. Menu is mostly fish based but really nice combinations! The interior is modern but also cozy!

I am unfortunately writing with a dissenting view of L'Aparte. With a Michelin star and the largely rave reviews, we had high expectations and the first three courses of our 8 course meal were quite underwhelming. Pretty/delicate, sure. But the flavors were underwhelming and left you uninspired/wondering how the restaurant has so much hype. There were stand-out and very strong dishes in the remainder of the meal, and the sommelier recommended an excellent pairing, but I could not give a more than 3 star review for the food given our experience. Perhaps it was a fluke? I love peas, but these peas did not impress, and I'm annoyed that we paid for the full 8 courses when one was an appetizer that fell flat. The service was generally very good, but for two of our courses our waiter didn't stop by to translate the chef's explanation so we were left wondering. Overall, with only one night in Geneva on my 40th birthday trip, and $630 later, this was not what we hoped it would be.

Outstanding dining experience. Highly recommend. Should have a Michelin Star or two. The chef is from Brittany and is superb. He comes out to your table to explain each dish as it is served. Each dish was innovative and delicious. One of the best dining experiences I have had. Please come, you will not be disappointed.

This place looks nice and has great vibes. The waiters are friendly and very welcoming. Food takes long to get ready. Food is absolutely tasteless. The tacos was not nice at all. I gave two stars beacuse if how warm and nice the waiters was otherwise this place should be ranked zero for food

A small cosy little bar. Perfect for winter evenings. Staffs are friendly and so the atmosphere inside. Price is decent with many cocktail and snacks option. I went with my friends and the bill was little high so the last drink he gave us complimentary. So in short if you don’t want to hop pubs but sit and drink, this is a perfect little place for you.

I was returning from a vacation, but had to stay in town for one night. Because of the nice weather I went out and came across this unique, full of life, smiling people and incredibly good music place. I spent the whole night listening to Latin rhythms, drinking the best mojitos. I will definitely find a reason to go there again!

The cocktails/mocktails were great, the prices weren't terrible considering the great views & the menu was decent. The service was a bit strange where they have a velvet rope where the customers wait behind. Feels a bit faux exclusivity.

My best spot for the wonderful view of Geneva jet d’eau, roue, lake and architecture in a cosy rooftop with friendly waiters and waitresses. I didn’t put 5 for the food because it is a restaurant but the tapas and dishes are good. It may be full during summer high season so arriving shortly before it opens in this case.

The fries felt a bit mainstream, but the Parmesan on top made them a bit better. I thought it would have been more people there than it was. It was pretty chill for a Friday night.

I had an amazing experience at this rooftop restaurant in Geneva. The view was absolutely stunning, overlooking the city and the lake, perfect for photos. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the evening even more enjoyable. A perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a relaxing evening with friends. Highly recommended!

Traveling solo, had to wait for a spot, no problem. When finally seated seeing the price of 10CHF for a regular Coca Cola. Okay whatever we pay for the view. The guy told me I could sit on this table until a table with the view would be free. I waited almost 1 hour, and he kept letting new people go before me. While I was still waiting for a table. After a few times I addressed to the guy, then suddenly there was a table free. I told him I’m sorry I didn’t want to bother him but he promised me a table and didn’t give me one, plus he kept letting other people in front of me, why? He didn’t answer and just moved my things to another table. I even apologized because I didn’t wanna be a burden, but he was not professional at all. If you have a problem, you say it. I’m a girl with social anxiety and I was solo traveling for the first time, just wanting to enjoy a drink with a nice view. That guy just ruined my night. Overall the menu looked amazing just very pricey, didn’t eat anything. And left without even drinking the cola worth of €11. Pity.

Here is the story: my client booked a suite for a presentation for 3 days. I proposed to have a sunset drinks with clients before going for dinner at this venue. The lady on the phone was lovely but unfortunately it was impossible to book a table, unless we secure 100 chf per pax. I understand that the hotel cant take booking without a minimum spending but we just wanted to to share a nice moment for an hour... Pity we missed the opportunity to make an accurate review. I put 3 stars for this lovely lady that seems frustrated as i was, especially during a corporate event.

You can't get enough of a single visit.. Amazing state of the art ambiance, eye catching artistry interior, spacious meeting rooms, beautiful lunch/dinner areas..you can't go wrong on your fast date here.. definitely it will be a yes for you when you when you ask the question..

We’ve been there today for a lunch. The reason of my 2 stars is the service. The bar was quite crowded and of course there was only one poor guy serving. He was very kind, but physically he couldn’t be everywhere. It is a biggest Geneva problem. They invest in place, kitchen, but not in staff. To get back to our hamburgers, have you ever had a cold hamburger? So, I can say it is not the best thing to have. I presume it remained long time at the kitchen, before being served. We said nothing, as we had waisted a lot of time, before we’ve been served. So we had to swallow our hamburger and go back to work. What to say? 40 CHF to have a cold hamburger is a lot.

Food was average. Service was below average. Had to wait at least 20 minuets to get the soup, and another 10 minutes later for the mains although we asked for it earlier. Asked for parmesan cheese but never got it. Wouldn’t eat there again.

Excellent place. Trendy, good drinks, chill music and great service! Highly recommended. If you want a more busy ambience, Thursday is the busiest nice. Other nights great for a chill drink.

This hotel bar has a nice vibe and the interior is fun, stylish and on point. Comfortable couches and chairs, a small but good selection of wines and a volume-level of music that is still acceptable without blowing your eardrums out like at so many supposedly 'cool' Geneva bars. Service is very slow though and you have to walk up to the bar most of the time to get any attention, so 'coordinate' your drinks! Prices are at normal Geneva-levels ( we apparently all have a company credit card or UN per diems...which is actually true for Geneva and creates a system of sad money-grabbing)

I really love this hotel. It is modern and trendy. Has awesome technology in the rooms as far as smart TVs and audio bars. Good staff and a great atmosphere.

Nice bar-restaurant with a good atmosphere and friendly service. Unfortunately, the food was a letdown. The artichokes starter came straight from the fridge, tasteless and without any dressing. Dreadful. The filet mignon was ordered medium but arrived well done — no one seemed to notice or care. Great vibe, but disappointing food.

Fantastic place with an amazing atmosphere. The dinner starts slowly in a call atmosphere and step by step the music gets louder and louder. Perfect to put you in a party mood. The food is very well cooked and a lot of varieties are available. I would expect a little bit more spices as you could find in Israel, but probably the tastes are adapted for the Swiss public. An example, the melanzana was delicious, but the roasted chicken, even if it was delicious, was missing the Israeli touch. I will gladly retour and strongly recommend it.

Just wanted to have a drink and saw the cocktail menu supports Israeli Apartheid so I decided to leave. Would it be so hard to call it geneva paloma or something less 'controversial' than israel? jerusalem lemonade arak is cultural theft and appropriation. Crazy.

Fantastic evening at Chez Calvin. The food is tasty, trendy and healthy. The team is genuine and goes above and beyond to make sure every client is happy. Last but not least, the ambiance is unique as you feel in Provence while being in Geneva. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place and location. Sadly the customers outside smoke cigarettes constantly, so it is hard to enjoy a meal if you don't want a smoky flavor. It is more a problem with the city laws than the restaurant. Food is a bit overpriced, but flavorful. I had a chicken dish, and it was skinny little chicken.

Like many of the other bars in this area: Very expensive, house music, large crowd and mediocre service. The staff is very friendly, but often overwhelmed by the large crowd. One will have a good time, but there are many places in Geneva to have an equally good time at a cheaper price and with faster service!

Pretty disappointing bar. The place is great with the terrace ... however the service is tremendously slow. I had to ask three times for a beer and did that twice; the third time I went it the bar directly. Also they feed you with pizza that they say it comes from their oven, so they cook them. But they arrived cold.. Finally there is only one single toilet for both men and women!!! Very weird for a bar See? Disappointing

Nice place for evening drinks outside next to the river. Covered and heated outdoor seating area. Friendly staff and a good selection of drinks. Only rated 3 star on food because we didn’t have any food, but what we saw being served looked good.

Went for cocktails by the river in the middle of winter. Very cozy and good, but expensive, selection of good quality drinks. It's strange the menu doesn't list wines by the glass, but they are available! Classic cocktails are also not listed, but we asked politely and had a delicious espresso martini. If you're just buying a beer and a glass of wine the cost is okay, but you should easily splash cash here too so beware.. Lovely, friendly, cozy cabine by the river - a favourite - we went back two nights in a row! The service is worth a mention. The waiters are friendly with good humour and usually able to judge very well when they will be needed! Our server took the time to talk to us, speaking in simpler French with me to help me practice rather than switching direct to English - somehow he knew this was what we'd been talking about too. A really nice touch!

Well, as others have said. I greeted the female waitress first but she completely ignored me when she first spoke to a customer who came from behind me. The male waiter was kind enough to talk to me, although he told me "pizza order would be ready in 10 minutes." but I left the restaurant without ordering anything as I felt sad. Well, this is a long review. It wouldn't have been possible if it was in Japan 😂 It was a good learning experience! Thank you so much!

Cool bar with a great late night ambiance on Friday. They even have a DJ in the toilet area. Can make for a fun night out. But on some nights the DJ can be a bit less great.

An incredible unique experience to remember and absolutely worth the money, because the cocktails are the same prices as other bars in Geneva but have so much more value. Each drink has it’s own character, whether it’s a hot drink set on fire or a cold drink held by a glass made entirely of ice. We sat at the bar and spoke to the bartenders Christophe and Harry - both are incredibly friendly, we spoke for hours and were told many interesting stories about the history of the cocktails and the bar itself. One in which is that Christophe set up the first true cocktail bar in Geneva: L’Atelier. So this cocktail bar is run by Geneva’s finest and most experienced cocktail makers. Without a doubt I can say this will be our go-to bar from now on.

Agree with all of the reviews...Christophe and the team made us feel so welcome. The cocktails were exceptional....honestly on par with Tokyo. Let him take you on a journey and you’ll have a cracking good time. Vibe is cool and unpretentious.

LOCATION 8/10 : Very nice place located close to the center of the city. You can park plaine de plainpalais and go there walking. STAFF 9/10 : nice and welcoming. PREPARATION OF FOOD 10/10 : I had only cocktails there. They are very good and well prepared. If you are looking for a good cocktail bar ... you found it. TOTAL 9/10 : one of the best cocktail bar I found in Geneva.

Where do I start? This place might be intimidating at first especially on a Friday or Saturday night for a foreigner. But have no fear once you get a bar spot the bartenders will make you feel at ease and are super friendly. The prices are a little steep, but I think it’s on par with the rest of the country. The passion fruit drink is delicious and a treat. It’s fruity and tart with a couple of shots in there. I’d probably enjoy it even more if there was an additional shot to add a kick to it. Highly recommended!

This place has by far the best quality cocktails in Geneva! Absolutely love their creativity. For example, basil with gin or vodka with rose water. Delicious! The staff is very friendly, even though the service is a bit slow. Make sure to make reservations as the place is small and popular. Keep in mind that the terrace is facing a street with busy traffic.

Friendly neighborhood bar. Quality of ingredients always forefront of mind. Good selection of wines, fish pates (homemade), oysters. In fact some of the best oyster you can eat, regardless of location / city.

Nice ambiance, good food, and excellent wine; the place is good for an intimate chat; for a glass of wine and appetizers with friends before dinner. You may also have some of their bites as dinner. It may be some $60-$70 per person having an assortment of their dishes, and if you drink much wine. Well located in a quiet street and close to other restaurants. Best oysters I’ve had in quite some time after New York and Tokyo.

The place is ok, it has a nice vibe but the owner is not accommodating at all. If you’re thinking of having your birthday there think again. We brought a birthday cake with us and the owner ended up charging us for the empty plates he provided. That was very disappointing. He probably should not be in the hospitality business.

Beautiful bar in the Luxury edition Marriott property. However, the drink I had was unbalanced and had ice chunks because it wasn't double strained...I make a lot of craft cocktails and that one was 27 Francs for something I could make better at home myself. Service was friendly but they had to look at the menu to learn how to make the drinks so I assume there isn't full professional experience and they were kind of overwhelmed by a high school graduation party too.

Great place to hang out with lake views , relaxed atmosphere as well. The food is decent and they have extensive cocktails and some wines by glass or bottle. The focaccia bread comes already cut in bite size portions :) we also had the octopus and potatoes from the menu which was a decent meal for the price you pay.

This was such a great, crowded, sort of rowdy place! The views are great if you can get a spot along the rail facing the lake. Service was quick even with a crowd at the bar. This was a drinks only stop so I can't comment on the food taste, but the plates passing by looked appetizing. The drink menu has a wide selection of adult beverages, wines, local and regional beer, and many non-alcoholic selections. This would be an amazing place to bring a big group of friends and lounge around on the grass or at the tables! There is a 4 CHF deposit required for each glass, so keep track and make sure you recover yours if it matters to you.

We came here several times during our vacation. We liked the atmosphere and - most of the times - the cocktails were excellent and worth the pricier money. However, sometimes they didn’t taste the same, especially the Sex on the beach (two times the best one I ever had, one time one of the worst) and the Mojito. I wish the staff would stick to the recipes more.

Overcharged, Be careful! The bar is a lovely location, but I was Overcharged last night and didn't realise until I checked my card this morning. I was charged CHF 17 for a wine that should have been CHF 10. Not a lot perhaps and maybe it was an accident, but check what you're tapping for.

Food was okay. We all got unlimited food and drinks, but turned out food were not enough and the portions were rather small. We were a group of 40 but they only arranged us a small section of seat, it was not enough for seats neither. We also have noticed they are very short staffed. It was super crowded and loud at one point. I can’t barely walk pass the crowd. For summer it was boiling hot and there was zero ventilation. A place to party, not to have a private discussion. Toilet is just a few steps away from the restaurant. Overall it’s a cute place.

The venue is very nice, but the hostesses were quite unfriendly—no smiles or warm welcome, which was disappointing. I arrived with four friends, and although the place was empty, we were told it was fully booked and were directed to some unattractive and uncomfortable tables in the back. We accepted this, but then had to wait over 30 minutes to be served, and the place never filled up, so it felt like we were misled. I won’t be returning for dinner, but might stop by for a drink in the evening. I sincerely hope the staff's attitude improves soon.

Horrible experience. We ordered some drinks and later we swap to a bigger table because some friends arrived and the waiter change us. After that, my friend received a call and a text from a girl who works here saying "thanks for leave and not pay". I think this kind of behaviour is the wrong way. We wont back anymore and we come every sunday.

Ask for Quentin, he knows his stuff, and knows which cocktail would match with your taste. There was another cheerful and helpful girl with him, I did not get her name. I’ll be going back for sure!

Really amazing creative food by a superior and very creative chef - the cod gnocchi dish was incredible in particular. The three small appetizers to start were very creative and tasty. The bread and butter were exceptional. The steak portion was very stingy (given the very high price) but the asparagus was good. The Rhône wine by the glass was excellent. The cheeses on the cheese plate were very bland and all tasted the same, but overall the food was excellent. Very strange and incredibly rude experience sitting down where we had agreed on a table but the person told us we had to sit elsewhere. We were so upset we were going to leave but we couldn’t find another place. Otherwise the service was very good but they lose a star for this.

Some of the most unique cocktails I’ve ever had. Not to mention too notch bar snacks that came out with the drinks for free. And if you stay for dinner you won’t be disappointed with the fresh fish options, lobster roll or with another unique creation. Definitely recommend for a top tier bar vibe.

Creative and tasty dinner, we truly enjoyed our meal. Great freshness in the dishes like the fennel salad, or deep flavors in, for example, the jus with the steak. The special (oeuf parfait) was out of this world! Despite its name, FiskeBar offers a selection of dishes for everyone: incredible fish and seafood, but also several options of meat and vegetarian dishes. Excellent wine selection. Service was very kind and attentive. A must go when in a Geneva!

We came here for our final honeymoon dinner and it did not disappoint! We went with the tasting menu and everything tasted spectacular. Ludo and Matt were extremely helpful and provided great service. They went the extra mile and made our last dinner special with champagne and other nice touches. Highly recommend this restaurant for all those visiting Geneva!

This is a hidden gem in Geneva. Off the beaten path but where the “cool kids” hang out. And by this I mean by more over 40s than any other age group. Regardless there is no ageism here !! Bar offers great beer. Cups have 2 Franc deposits but I took mine for souvenir. Worth it! Fun place to hang. Check it out.

Terrible living across the river from this place. They play the loudest possible music almost every day with no regard for the people living in the neighborhood opposite. We close our windows instead of getting fresh air because of this place as the music is so loud.

We had a very nice evening at the Windows Restaurant at Hotel D'Angleterre. From the moment we arrived, we felt really comfortable. The decor is simply amazing, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were equally impressive—amazingly friendly while maintaining a high level of professionalism. I regret not catching the names of the wonderful staff who made our experience so enjoyable, but their exceptional service didn't go unnoticed. Although I didn’t get a chance to meet Mr. Romain Deffaugt, I’d like to extend my thanks to him as well. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience that we would highly recommend.

The staff were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about creating a great dining experience. Whether I was starting my day or winding it down, every meal felt special. One of my favorite restaurants in Genève. They have great at customers' service. They serve delicious food of highest quality product. We had 4 courses dinner. We chose indian cuisine and it was spicy as it should be. Excellent cook! For dinner or afternoon tea this is a place to be. Reservations are needed!

We were looking for a special restaurant for a celebration meal and this place exceeded expectations. We booked online through Google the day before and they called our US number to confirm same day. From the moment we were greeted by Johann the maitre de and seated the service was impeccable. The decor is first rate, and every table has a lake view living up to it's Windows name. Menu was simple, yet varied and they have an extensive wine list including local Swiss wines. Johann was knowledgeable on the menu and made several good recommendations based on our preferences. They started us off with a cucumber gazpacho before the starters. We had roasted cauliflower in a coconut curry sauce and pickled beetroot salad. The Wagyu was perfectly seasoned and the artic char from Lake Leman was perfectly cooked. Crisp one side, moist and flaky on the other. I could drink the Beurre Blanc sauce. All the meals had an outstanding visual presentation. It took a little longer than they liked for my after dinner espresso so we ended up with some extra chocolates for the trouble, though I really hadn't noticed it. Though not cheap, the prices were not unreasonable for any major city and the experience certainly made it worthwhile.

If you want to combine three great pleasures - this is the place for you. A wonderful view from the window of the lake and the fountain. Incredibly exquisite presentation of very (!!!) tasty dishes. Well, you will be enveloped in warm service of the highest level. I will definitely come back here on my next visit 💙💛

The quality of food is really good, great service and presentation of the menu. The party mood it’s funny, it’s a great place to spend the night starting with aperò and ending up dancing a bit. Just the music during dinner time it’s really loud and it’s quite impossible to talk. General consideration is too expensive even for Geneva standards :)
