I really loveeee dumplings. I use to go to Ipoh branch. Its a must place to go every time i go to Ipoh. Im sooo glad that they opened one here at Penang. The vibes was totally different. Here are more calm and tidy. Everything must be ordered by qr and not serve hot same as Ipoh one. Maybe different place different concept. Here more too industrial area. My always favourite food was their fried carrot cake. But unfortunately the taste was not that Good. It was super dried and taste less. And here also they dont serve the black sauce for the dumplings. Only got chili sauce. But i still love their dumplings. Will come again and again. Hehehe

Everything was sooooo good. The employee there is not one of the best, tapi can be covered with the good comfort foods. Ipoh wantan mee sedap. Cheong fun udang pun lightly seasoned so sedapppp. Add on homemade sambal for more bursting flavors. Sesame ball with pandan tau young, memang terbaik. Used to make that a lot while in Sabah but not anymore, then boleh makan kat sini je. Crunchy di luar, mochi gooey di dalam. Even the fried items macam lobak pun sedappppp. Cheese balls tu favorite anak2. Salted egg buns tu sangat sedap, sampai membungkus another 10pcs. Go, must try. Will repeat, for sure.

The food is not as good as expected, based on other reviews, but the staff are friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for a traditional dim sum experience, this may not be for you. The food is a bit oily, and despite there being only 2-3 occupied tables, our order took a very long time to be served. Just my two cents.

Tried out this Dim Sum restaurant with my friends the other day. It is a halal-style dim sum place. I ordered their recommended fried crispy noodles, taste-wise it was okay, slightly above average but nothing too special. Also tried some of their dim sum, and honestly it tasted quite average. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you’re specifically looking for halal dim sum, but if you’re after the best dim sum experience, this might not be it.

I didn’t have any expectations for the place however all the food we ordered was pretty good. Everything was flavourful and not too salty. If definitely come back again if I’m in the area. I especially loved my strawberry matcha. There’s plenty of seating, you can sit upstairs if you don’t get one downstairs. Staff is attentive as well. Pricing is similar to what you get in cafes. Only thing is parking seems quite tricky in the area.

Been here a few times and it never disappoints. The food is simply outstanding, flavourful, hearty and served in generous portions that make everyone happy. While waiting, the kids get busy with the board games and game station, which keeps them entertained and buys us some peaceful time. The whole place has such a cheerful vibe, with fun decor and a comfy setting that makes you want to stay longer. It is one of those rare cafes that gets both food and atmosphere right. Truly a gem we keep coming back to!

Ordered spicy karaage, upon receiving the chicken is cold. Spicy egg is delicious. Truffle fries is not bad. Free and refillable water. Atmosphere is good and service is good.

Great atmosphere - wide open spaces, comfortable seating with a bit of breeze, lots of entertainment for kids. Food was decent but hit and miss. Would recommend the lala with a sour and spicy sauce and the octopus which was just blanched and served with a light soy. No idea what the preparation styles / names were as I didn’t do the ordering. Would not recommend the passion fruit chicken - way too sweet. Coconut was also a bit of a letdown as they’re served warm and weren’t very sweet. Everything else was sort of in between. Good but not great.

The staff recommended all the pricey dishes. The steamed fish waited more than 40mins. I asked the waitress why the fish hadn’t been served yet, but she didn’t respond. Ended up the taste of fish doesn't taste good and our rice also finished when the fish is served. Didn't enjoy the fish but it costs around RM400.There’s a wide variety of food to choose from but the prices are a bit high. Not recommended to order fresh fish. The scenery is truly beautiful especially during evening. Plenty of parking.

Its heavenly here. A beautiful and the best seafood restaurant by the beach. Great location for sunset viewing on a private beach. It's huge and very well designed. Huge aquariums along the main entrance displaying their available sea creatures. I was very impressed with the one of a kind aquarium wash basin. Surprised with their manually retractable ceiling too. We were dining alfresco and it started to drizzle but the problem was solved within minutes. The place was well landscaped with some kids playing area and an open shower to wash off sands. The place was crowded on a Sunday evening. We booked in advance and were given a link to order the dishes which we checked and confirmed after we were seated. The link need to be improved. There was a mix-up on our orders. Staff were well mannered and very attentive. With a great environment like this, you know the food can't be bad. In fact, they were perfect. Every dish was delicious with its own kind of flavour. My favourite would be the crispy sweet sour pork covered with ice and the kerabu prawn mantis. They were better than what I have ever tried. All the ingredients were fresh. Octopus was springy, chewy and nice with the dipping sauces but not for old folks. The sambal chilli for the okra was spicy and good. The most expensive dish on the table was the steam fish with thick nyonya style sauce. I will definitely spend more time on the beach, on my next visit.

Really delicious food in a spacious venue equipped with a playground for kids. As I’ve learned by speaking with the chef, this restaurant prides itself on high-quality delicacies by sourcing the freshest ingredients directly from producers. Sometimes fishermen boat their catch-of-day straight to the restaurant’s beach. If you enjoy premium seafood, sea breeze and the sounds of waves then this is for you 🐟🌊🎶

Been coming to this eatery for almost 20 years, and it never disappoints. Came back this time craving their BBQ stingray and lady fingers, still as good as ever. The chili packs a punch, seafood is fresh, deep-fried squid super crunchy, and the steamed octopus delicious. Of course, their signature asam prawns remain the highlight, bursting with flavour.

Parking was a little tough, Food is decent, fresh! Really reasonably priced. Everyone who works here are really hardworking, including the 2 little girls who can handle hot dishes better than adults like myself. Amazing! Great experience, loving the old school coffee shop feel to the place.

A humble family restaurant, I would imagine not many tourist would know or come of not referred by locals. It’s short drive from famous Kek Lok Si area, food quality is fair and reasonably priced. Ventilation of the restaurant is good as well.

Among all the food options there, Aki Pancake is my favorite. They offer so many combinations to choose from, and you can adjust the texture—light and chewy, thicker, or crispy—just the way you like it. They’re usually quite busy, so expect a bit of a wait, but it’s definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

Went for lunch. Came out disappointed. The lasagne lacks flavour and dry. Don't think they even use bechamel. Chicken chop sauce tastes stale like overnite. Both served with salad with hardly any dressing. Hope they improve as the environment was pretty cool.

This is one of my go to Cafes in Bayan Lepas 😊 food is absolutely amazing and healthy. Service is fast although there at times that the waiters are not very friendly. Overall, I love the ambiance and the quality of food delivered.

Came here just for some coffee and I loved it. Very velvety, light and smooth, and latte art is so clean 😭🙏🏻 They also provide plain water for you (free). They also sell sourdough breads and some pastries. Will try their dishes next time, looks amazing

Been craving for their mango chicken pizza for a few weeks. I’m not usually a pizza eater because I don’t like pizza crust - but their mango chicken pizza is my exception! It’s enough for 2 to share. Adding a lemon earl grey cake as dessert to make Friday night wholesome

The service was lacklustre - particularly the male Chinese server. The beef burger and chicken were dry, so we asked for more sauce, but they were very stingy. I initially wanted to get the cakes there, but I decided it was not worth it after such a lousy dining experience. I would advise going elsewhere, given that there are plenty of better restaurants around here.

Grill chicken brown rice presentation was impressive, has good veg and rice herbs combination, but chicken drumsticks L was too dry and tasteless .Disappointed with the RM10 tea with fancy name … De-stress or Be Alive which ended just a simple McCoy tea bag bitter tea ! The carrot cake was good , kombucha was ok, environment was cozy with green plants , service was attentive .

Good thing is only the atmosphere. Sometimes paying extra for a good food is a plus. But here the food was almost tasteless. The vege was out of indian touch. The rasam was super watery. Sambar was pale in taste, i dont know how else i could explain that. The chicken curry was super tasteless! On top of that, please take note on the cleanliness of the one who serves the food. It leaves a big time first impression. The one who served me looked like didn’t took a shower and came to work straight out of bed. Bad experience.

First time visiting upon checking my Bayan Baru saved list as wanted to try something new for lunch. Ordered Chettinad Fish Kuzhambu, Mutton Masala Garlic Naan and 1 Biryani Rice. Liked the fragrance of the spices used. The fish portion and rice is big enough for me to take home for dinner. Just had it after reheat and the Chettinad Fish Kuzhambu is super yummy. The Naan is different and not to my like.

A South Indian cuisine or dishes, plain or NON fancy food. Taste mediocre but expensive... we had vegetarian Briyani and Garlic Naan (without curry). Curry or side dishes have to be ordered separately. The Aloo Gobi (Potatoes with Cauliflower) taste average and NOT unique. The Curry Chicken tastes almost the same as the curry or flavor used in Aloo Gobi. The food here needs to be enhanced, improved and the price got to be reviewed, to be more competitive (we spent approx. RM150 for 3 pax). By far my favourite Indian restaurant in Penang not just Bayan Lepas, reasonably priced, amazing flavours and also good for vegetarians/vegans like meee... I come here every week and have done for the past 8 months - don't go anywhere else now because I just get disappointed if I choose somewhere else. I'm so lucky this is on my door step! Lovely owners too, love it here would highly recommend!

Well I must admit somehow after countless times visiting Elit Heights somehow I never bother to check out this place until a colleague recommends this place to me. And I am glad I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Classic Mutton Masala Biryani and it is definitely delicious and at the same time I think it is very spicy too (I love spicy food in general). The mutton was also very nicely cooked and it is so tender and especially if you get the part with some fats you can feel as if it kinda melts in your mouth as you chew. For drinks I tried the Chai Masala tea. It was good but I have had better one at Halab. But around Bayan Lepas area, if you have a craving for Chai Masala tea then this is the place. Will definitely go back again to try the other menu item. Nice ambience and service is good too. No complaints. 😉

Many table spots to choose from under the roof to without roof and also hut. Place is clean. Order ur food and drinks at the seafood booth then pay at counter and give table number. Freshly caught seafood. The prawn was considerably big, most of the fish options were priced per piece instead of grams. Drinks cup size were large at cheap price. 4 types of seafood + 1 vege at the cost of less than rm300 for 3 ppl portion is considered cheap, at least for me. I have to reduce 1 star because the ikan bakar sambal was not to my taste whereby instead of using the wet sambal glaze, it's as if the cook just use sambal powder. Other than that, other dishes were satisfying. Would bring my family here.

yet. MIL saw this place on social media so we decided to give it a try. Like many other ‘viral’ spots, this one was quite a disappointment. Waited almost 40 minutes for the food to arrive. The only dishes we would recommend are the Udang Masak Butter and Coconut Shake ✅ But the rest were pretty underwhelming: - sambal for the ikan bakar had no kick - sotong celup tepung lacked saltiness - kailan ikan masin didn’t taste like ikan masin at all - soft shell crab salted egg had no salted egg flavour, and was already soggy by the time it arrived We sat at the gazebo near the water, and while eating we were swarmed by flies, totally spoiled the experience! Spent RM300++ for everything.

Malay seafood restaurant with nice seaview, that's about it. Service is non existent. Food tastes the same flavour and seafood is not fresh. I meant all the seafood we chose was not fresh. Price is reasonable. Avoid of possible.

Food was ok. Ordered whole fish steam. It was good. However the crab we ordered was disappointing. The meat was sticking to the shell so we suspected it has been frozen. If you live nearby, then yes. It is worth it to go there however if you are staying in Georgetown area or Batu Ferringhi area, then you can find better place closer to where you are staying.

They have good meals. It took me twenty to twenty-five minutes to wait for the foods; there were a lot of people there on Saturday night. I placed an order for grilled cockles (Kerang), salted egg crabs, butter prawns, deep-fried squid, and deep-fried snapper (Jenahak) with chili. To dip the cockles, they provided air asam and regular chili sauce, but I like homemade or Thai chili sauce more; it suited better, but it was still tasty and fresh. A rich and well-balanced chili sauce complemented the crispy-fried snapper fish. While the remaining of the food was ok so and so, I would have preferred to taste more curry leaf flavors in the butter crabs, which were not there. Butter prawns Reached here around 915pm, available parking space, the restaurant quite spacious with many tables. Prices are okay for me, not sure for others. Might come again for fresh halal seafood if I'm in Penang.

1. Restaurant area is clean. We sat at the gazebo area on weekday evening and it was quite windy even without fan. 2. Service is quite fast. 3. For takeaway, you can just take plastic bag provided and pack the food by yourself. 4. Free flow of plain drinking water. 5. Quite number of parking space (but I think parking will be quite limited during dinner time - more people during dinner). 6. Also have surau near the back area of the parking area. 7. Few handwashing area and hand soap is also provided. You need to order at the front desk and inform restaurant your table number - quite various choice of lauk can be made. We like the sotong celup tepung.

The view is nice. There are so many tables to sit.. And plenty to choose where to sit. But a bit far from the counter. And also the tissues services are near the toilet and at the counter only. Which is a little bit far and difficult to take. ☺ The service is nice. Fast. A little bit pricey. But you have bear in mind. Cause it is suitable with the place.

I don’t know if the noodle supposed to be a little savory or anything but mine was bland and I only can taste the hint, the chili oil was nice tho, and it’s a bit spicy.

I agree with people who said the cashier staff is rude and unfriendly. The way she talks is loud and harsh- definitely not relaxed or welcoming. As for the food, it’s still delicious, but not like before. Now they limit the chili oil, which is disappointing because that chili oil was what made this kedai special in the first place.

**RM9.50 with no free flow chilli oils!** I recently visited this store for a meal and was quite disappointed. The panmee was already overpriced for the portion and taste. To make things worse, they recently no longer offer free-flow chili oil, which was one of the reasons I used to visit. Instead, the chili oil now comes in a small, oily package that’s difficult to open. When I couldn’t tear the package open, I had to return to the counter to ask for help. However, while trying to get the chili oil out of the package, it spilled onto my white pants, which was frustrating. Overall, between the price hike, reduced service, and messy packaging, it was an unpleasant experience, and I won’t be visiting this store again.

This pan mee stall in the Queensbay Mall halal food court serves really good pan mee, choose from dry spicy, dry non spicy or soup non spicy. AMBIANCE: Decent, foodcourt environment. There are 2 queues here, one to order & pay and another to collect. Can get crowded at times. STAFF: Very hardworking and friendly to make sure the orders don't pile up. The orders are dealt with at a decent pace. FOOD: Delicious, the noodles are springy and soft. The sauce and condiments are satisfying. Make sure to take the chilli flakes to compliment the pan mee. The runny boiled egg hits the spot. PRICE: Very reasonable at RM8.50 per bowl.

This is a very successful chain of Pan Mee and Queensbay branch is still my favorite. The portion is adequate and super tasty especially the spicy chili variety. Very good and dare I say, very addictive lol. It’s pricier than what you can get on the street but the quality here is quite consistent. Never leave without buying their “chili flakes” that come in a small container. It adds zing to your meals at home.

Dry pan mee was outstanding. Ingredients was generous and just nice. Flavourful. Noodle was bouncy and sticky. Chili was spicy but wirth trying a bit and it elevated thevtaste to higher level. 4 stars Self queue for pay and collect

As a regular customer I was really disappointed with how they run their business. Don’t call yourself chili panmee if you want to control how many chili a customer can take. Previously they used to have a big bowl of chili to let customer take, now they pack it into individual packing which I think is too little and not environmental friendly as well. I can take more chili when I dine at queenbay mall food court and when I dine at sunshine mall food court the worker say the boss limit only 2 pack of chili per bowl which as a regular customer I am not happy and feel they don’t practice the same rules over all outlet. I simply think you cannot stop a customer from asking for more chili, if you want you can charge me for the extra chili. It’s crazy to control how many chili to give to a customer. Totally disappointed and might not visit this outlet again.

Been here thrice. I found that sound some food tasted good and some were so-so. Depends on one’s taste buds. Some food portions good enough to feed 2 or 3 people but the ingredients not enough for the price we paid. Like recently I tried the Ee Fu noodles (RM25.80) portion was big but it had only 2 prawns & the slimy sauce. Shanghai Meat dumplings were not fresh. Disappointed. Staffs have language barriers but good service though. Deserts was on the house☺️

Relaxing, pleasant with upmarket decor and practical fittings such as steamer on dining tables to keep food warm. Well presented food. Recommended dim sums such as Garlic Chives Siew Mai, Fake Shark Fin Dumplings, Steamed XO Sauce dumplings, Dried Scallop Siew Mai, classic Siew Mai. The Shrimp Chee Cheong Fun is delicious and does not stinge on shrimp. The Dry Shrimp Wan Ton Noodles is scrumptious and worth the price! If you're into healthy herbal jelly, the cutely appealing terrapin shaped Osmanthus Herbal Jelly will win you over. Also try the slightly sweeter compared to herbal jelly called Osmanthus Jelly that is round shaped and topped with wolf berries. These jellies make a healthy conclusion to any meal.

Picture didn’t do justice. This place shocked me with their portion and umami’s. The Steam Prawn Chee Cheong Fun comes with pure chili shrimp paste, that’s something the whole industry is missing. The portion of the shrimp is like throwing a shrimp party, soft, succulent and juicy Chee Cheong Fun that glides to your tummy. This is already a 5/5 as a starter. Deep fried been-curd skin with prawn, crispy on the outside, moist and juicy in the inside, what can I expect more, how did they do it? Usually this crispy fritters are all dried up due to uncontrollable heat on the deep fryer. How can this be ??? I believe this is made to order, not those deep fried and displayed on the heated food display. Goodbye to Kampung Koh official Dim Sum chilli condiment, this Bao Zhan homemade chili dip is beyond another level, those who know Kampung Koh would want it to attest to how many fakes Kampung Koh out there, nevertheless, this condiment pairs their food exceptionally perfectly. 8.5/10 I will come again, next time, I will bring more friends as I did not finish this serving, portion too big. There are more in the list that intrique me.

I came here to eat during my last vacation last week because of all the hype in the social media. The food only tasted average. The pau was too soft to be good. The ginseng Chinese tea has no taste of ginseng at all. The fried noodles tasted very weird. I'm wondering what sauce the chef used to fry. Well I have nothing good to comment. Anyway if you are a tourist in Penang don't bother to eat here. If you have accidentally come here like me, do order their black jelly which comes in the shape of a tortoise. Very cute one. Boiled groundnut and wet tissues were served and charged without the customer requesting. Not recommended dim sum place.

A bit pricy BUT you will truly enjoyed authentic quality dim sum. Good fillings and quality ingrediants used. Truly enjoyed every bite for all my orders. Will visit again for different orders.

A fantastic spot for cook-to-order dim sum and noodles—all incredibly tasty. Each table features a custom-designed steamer, allowing you to enjoy warm dim sum at your own pace. Here, you simply order from the online menu, it’s a refreshing change from the usual queue-and-pick dim sum stations you still find in many Penang restaurants. I especially love their Wat Tan Hor—highly recommended!

Overall food have mix rating. Some are really good, like the chee cheong fun, wok fried carrot cake. But some could be better, such as fried rice must use overnight rice else will be sticky, the steam items such as prawn dumpling might have been over steamed that it became sticky. Anyway, taste is ok. Service could have been much better, bcos with 3 workers only attending at dinner, no one is giving full attention. Environment can be quite noisy. For the price I'm paying, I expect much more from this place.

Xiang Yun Vegetarian Café is a delightful spot for wholesome meals at very reasonable prices. What stood out to me was how satisfying and flavorful vegetarian food can be when prepared with such care. The satay was a real treat. Super well-marinated, grilled just right, and paired with a tasty peanut sauce that didn’t make me miss the meat version at all. The chicken rendang rice set was equally impressive, rich in aroma and depth of flavor, with a nice balance of spice and creaminess. What surprised me most was the tau fu fah. Unlike the usual light dessert, theirs was hearty and comforting. Soothing, smooth, warm, and just the right level of sweetness, making it a perfect ending to the meal. Overall, Xiang Yun Vegetarian Café proves that vegetarian food can be both delicious and satisfying without being heavy on the wallet. A place worth revisiting!

The food was decent, not amazing, but enjoyable enough. What really threw me off was the price way too expensive for what you get and didn’t really match the overall setting. The seating could definitely be better, it was a bit cramped and uncomfortable. For the price I paid, I’ve honestly had more pleasant dining experiences even at simple roadside stalls. If you’re planning to go, I’d recommend checking the menu prices in advance otherwise, you might end up paying way more than expected.

Step into a small vegetarian cafe in a calm peaceful environment, away from the hustle bustle in the cruel business world. The decor is a natural theme with some Chinese designs. They serve a variety of food quality vegetarian food. The price is affordable with good quality vegetarian food. Car parks are limited.

When they say this is the best roti bakar in Penang, you’d better believe them. This place has been serving top notch roti bakar and half boiled eggs for decades, and thats saying something. The bread was buttered to perfection with all that buttery goodness, and when sprinkled with sugar, each bite tastes heavenly, no roti bakar will ever taste as good as this anymore. Dipping it in kampung half boil eggs, white pepper and soya sauce is even better, this is literally the best breakfast you’ll have in Penang. They also sell nasi lemak that is fragrant, spicy and absolutely fantastic. This spot is a MUST come for all tourists visiting Penang.

Very interesting old style coffeeshop. They only has three menu and nasi lemak. Went in 7.30am today. After a while was so crowded. The bread are crispy.

The food is considered moderate; toasted bread is famous but for me was normal, tasting a bit salty and not fragrant. Nasi Lemak was nice but too spicy. Many customers need to wait for the table seats. The worst is finding a car parking spot.

Really disappointed by the food and attitude. Firstly, the price increased but food quality dropped. They using cheap margarine on thin slides of toast now and it's extremely greasy (definitely not worth the price). I brought my parents here and I order on their behalf (one roti goyang and one set of bakar). But after taking my order, the aunty keep disregard me when I say that's all and still ask my parents for extra order. She said: your case settled I am asking your parents now rudely, and eventually give us something we didn't order. Damn disappointed with the food quality and service. Please do not come here. You can't be a jerk and still sell bad food.

Nothing bad or great to say about this place. Just a good old quaint old Chinese kopitiam that service toast and soft boil egg. Ice coffee is good though

The selection was extremely limited, the Nasi lemak was tasteless, the bread was using majerin instead of butter, also we asked for hard boiled egg and we want to break it ourselves, they said we cannot do that, what a ridicules rule.

After arriving in Penang, went straight here to have a refreshing breakfast. Coffee is nice and we liked the roti bakar. My friend is not a fan of soft boiled eggs so we did not order. It would be best if you will also order soft boiled eggs to complete your breakfast experience! Sambal of the nasi lemak is not into my liking but it is still worth the try for those food explorers out there.

While the food we ordered was just okay in terms of taste, the service was good. The staff was quite attentive. It seems they overheard me saying the hot green tea was too hot and offered to add some cold tea to cool it down.

Foods are very disappointing. The pork belly has strong gamey smell and beef is grainy dry texture. Totally wont back for this japanese shop! The meal felt overpriced, especially since it wasn’t fresh.

The Chinese manager provides a really good services. It was raining heavily and he helped us get up to the car without the second thought. Btw, ramen tastes good too.

Came here for sushi and loved its freshness and taste. Their Volcano Roll sushi in a bowl is wonderful for sharing although it looks like a grand mess. They’re under the same group as Edo Ichi and Azuma.

Salmon is fresh. Sauce is sour and if don’t like sour taste don’t pour all the sauce. It’s pricey to my opinion.

This place serves varieties of Pan Mee and rice. Price is on the higher side but is forgivable given its portion. I ordered chili pan Mee, not mala pan Mee. There are only 2 issues, number 1 is why use peppercorn for non Mala Pan Mee and number 2 is no chinese mushrooms. The peppercorn has made the Pan Mee become tasteless because of its strong spiciness, why not sambal? They used peppercorn and chili as a base mixing with grinded tofu and meat. The noodles itself is quite good and the sauce is quite there already. Overall 3/5, because the peppercorn makes the pan Mee lost its flavour...

This is my second visit. Soup wise, I like the authentic anchovy with onion aroma. With the well-cooked slices of meat and boiled egg, it is a perfect combination. It reminds me those traditional (Ah Ma) pan mee. Hakka styles braised pork rice is well-marinated. We can taste the essence of the braised pork especially the spices and cinnamon. Will visit this restaurant again.

Quite a good buffet spread offered to those attending training workshops here. They have local and western servings, with action stalls preparing specials like noodles. The place is huge to accomodate hotel guests and trainees alike. It is clean and the waiters are attentive. Unfortunate that only paid parking available is in their very difficult to navigate basement carpark. There is also an outdoor carpark, but I'm not sure if it belongs to the hotel.

This restaurant was one of my favorite places to have lunch and dinner before MCO. This is my first visit after MCO and noticed that the food quality drops so much! The mala noodles is extremely salty. Other foods are no longer as good as last time.

Review before at same place, but I think change boss & shop name. Some might confuse as they reuse some of the items@facilities@utensils. The hot pot is nice. Highly recommended. Just the drinks still can improve.

Great taste and reasonable price. Need come for early lunch or dinner due to the crowd. Sharing table is require on peak lunch or dinner hour. The portion for noodle and toppings is good enough for hearty eater. For peanuts lover,their rice noodle roll is a must to order, and egg waffle with M&M fillings. It goes perfect to dip egg waffle with peanuts sauce (rice noodle roll)👍👍👍. However the taste of yin yeong is just okay for me. Kim gary and HK 8am have a better one😁

The place was thronged with curious foodies, waiting eagerly in queue to taste the Hong Kong delights. As suggested by the name, the brand's signature dish is Cart Noodles... a popular Hong Kong street food that allows diners to customize and build its own bowl of noodles... with a variety of toppings and ingredients. To suit the theme, the restaurant's interior is designed accordingly... with bold Hong Kong characteristics. Aside from the signature Cart Noodles, the restaurant churns out many popular Hong Kong snacks as well.

First, I need to say FOOD is yummy. Noodles have many beef👍🏻 The herbs taste good. And the staff are nice (not including manager). BUT The manager who wore black suit. He is really RUDE !! Three of us went Pho Vietz for dinner. We ordered a pot of tea. They only provided two cups. I asked the waiter (manager) for an extra cup, but he said no. FINE. Then, when the pot ran out of water, we asked the manager for hot water, but he rolled his eyes and asked another waiter to get us some. It was a truly impolite behaviour.

The food is scrumptious. The baguette is surreal, the bread is crispy, the meat is tender along with the savoury radish and vegetables and the sauce is also delicious. The seafood fried hor fun is also recommended. The fish is fresh, the soup is rich and the dish isn't too salty. A must order here is the ginger lemongrass drink, refreshing and addictive. The worker is friendly and attentive. The environment is immaculate and comfortable. Well done.

Food is nice. Some of the stews may be a little salty. The crackers served with the rice sets are a little hard (masuk angin). Service is fast and friendly, but the accent may be hard to understand. Atmosphere is nice and cozy but may feel a little cramped due to the location and layout.

My favorite dish is Bun Bo Hue (Hue style spicy beef noodle soup). Sometimes I think Bun Bo Hue here is even better than in Vietnam 🤣🤣 Pho is also delicious but cooked in southern style, I'm from the north so not too impressed.

I felt both the food and service were mediocre and was overall disappointed in the experience. I ordered the soup with beef slices thinking it would have nicer quality pieces since it was slightly more expensive than the other beef soups, but as you can see from the photo, the beef was extremely dry and a smaller portion size. The chicken lemongrass banh mi was tastier than the pho.

Generally a quiet eating place, food is moderate, servicing is a little slow but it do mentioned in the chosen menu. It has own hand wash area which is great among most other shops.

One of my favorite restaurants when I think of noodle soup. My family's choice of orders Steam Fish Hor Fun, Fish Meat Noodle Soup, Fresh Fish Tomyam BeeHoon, Pork Leg Rice, Lokbak, Meat Floss Vegetables. Overall it tasted good to us. It is an air conditioning restaurant so you will comfort even eating the hot soup especially their Tomyam and Spicy & Sour Noodle.

We reached this airconditional restaurant on weekend at about 11am. The restaurant was quiet and not hot. 20% of the tables were occupied. Table service for ordering. Serving within 10 minutes upon ordering. Pork noodles with silver needle noodles were delicious. The broth was excellent and not thirsty after meal. I chose pork meat with porkballs at RM9.90. The ingredients were generous. The silver needle noodles were soft, tender, and bouncy. The minced pork and porkballs were slightly above average, but lack of the kick to be a masterpiece. 4 stars Hot and sour noodles were outstanding. The broth was excellent with moderate sour and milky taste. The ingredients were very generous. The fish was fresh and juicy. The prawn was fresh and large. Fresh fish slices prepared in steamed hor fun noodle dish with lots of vege and coriander - Love it! I asked for more fish slices and was charged only rm4 extra. So reasonable. Overall my dish was rm17.50

This is one of my most favourite pork noodle, the tomyam so delicious,, .. the porridge is also nice n especially their pumpkin barley is worth to try also . Their vege with chicken floss is also good , just the place is not so clean 4 for the cleanliness, but taste is 5 ,, always crowded at dinner n lunch time, location just beside the Starbucks.. price just worth it ,, if you are pork noodle lovers I think should give a try this kopitiam .

Lye Lee Restaurant is a noodle and porridge house. We tried their pork noodle, the broth is sweet and porky. Pork meat is tender and mix well with the noodle. They are also famous for their tom yam noodle. Parking is limited as many spots are reserved by shop owner.

Tasty and juicy pork burger with improved menu selection. The spam fries taste good and worth the price. The burger taste as good but with reduced portion and pricey as compared to previous version. It cost more than McDonald's but of course you can't get pork at McDonald's 😬

My first try in Rics Burger. Rics Burger has lunch hour promotion in weekdays which is from 12pm to 3pm. Staffs are helpful just forget to discount 20% in our bill but still cash back for us. We ordered two burgers and two combos. French fries taste really good and bacon strips as well. We are really satisfied with the burger here and taste really delicious 😋 But I hope they can provide two napkins for us as we use our hand to eat the food.

The pork patties have a strong pork taste. So not a fan of their pork burgers and they ran out of chicken patties. Fish burger was good! Porky dog was spicy thus not for kids. Their Spam fries were too porky although I love spam. Vanilla milkshake tasted more of ice than vanilla milk. Will come back again to try their chicken burgers and have another fish burger. Prices compatible with Spade burger.

So much improvement compared to their previous (now closed) outlet at The One. The environment inside the place is not smoky and air is clean, the kitchen is enclosed. The fries taste much better now. They have managed to maintain the taste and quality of their pork patty like last time. The staffs are very nice and helpful too. The minuses are that there is no condiment corner and the sauce for fries is just in a small cup which is not even enough for one portion of fries. The paper wrap used for the burger are really thin and of poor quality that easily break apart as they get soaked in the juices.

They specialize in pork burgers, and they are quite tasty. Food wise, they are fine, it's just that the outlet seems incomplete.. You get the feeling like they are still under renovation, except that they are not. Cleanliness can be improved.

A place where you can get homemade pork burger. The ambient is ok, but if can improve air ventilation will be even better. Burger taste ok. Price definitely higher than Ramlee burger. Price ranging from RM11 - RM19 for a burger. The burger took some time to be served, probably they prepared from fresh instead of ready cooked.

Not sure is it from the same boss but the taste is not as aromatic as the old shop. But still in an acceptable range. food serving is a bit slow though, but that is acceptable as they usually make to order. I will give it a 4/5 if they stick back using the real potato fries instead of what they have now, those McDonald's kind.

We ordered nasi dalca lamb & chicken. Portion of food quite big, chicken taste good and juicy, size also quite big. Lamb so tender however, a bit smelly. There are few options of vegetables available. Parking very difficult as this restaurant location at the road junction and side of main busy road. They open daily, started operation at 11am 3.30pm and rest, then reopen at 6pm until 11pm, however saturday only until 3.30pm. They served nasi berani, with few options of local dish that you can choose from. Tables may be limited during peak hours, at lunch time. Price quite pricy, taste also OK. Coconut shake and fresh coconut water available as well. If you sit at the edge of the restaurant, you may have a good view of small river.

Many times come here, taste still same, price reasonable, difficult to find parking, always queue, lucky they do fast services, no toilet, OKU and kids can accessible eat there. Must visit if you at penang.

Authentic Penang Nasi Dalca (rice cooked with dhal), best to pair with their excellent Ayam Bawang. The dalca curry is really nice, not too spicy. If you have never had Nasi dalca, this place is a good introduction. We came around 12:30 noon on a weekday so there was only a short queue of about 10-12 people (mostly workers from Bayan Lepas factories), with about half of the restaurant occupied. I imagine on weekends the place gets quite busy. The location is only about 10 minutes from Penang International Airport so if you have a long wait, take a Grab to the restaurant and treat yourself to some Nasi dalca, you won’t regret it.

A must visit place for nasi dalca if i went to penang. Their nasi was fragrant, the dalca and kari campur was just nice and their ayam bawang was superb🤌🏻 people wne penang for nasi kandar but i went here just for this gem. Price was affordable and you may experienced a long queue in front of the store but by the time you reached the counter, you can see your dine spot just in time.

We had a great dining experience in this Japanese restaurant. The restaurant is spacious and clean. They have a wide range of menu of rice, udon and ramen. They have bento sets and other types of sets as well. We ordered quite a few items. The food was tasty. I had ebi tempura and unagi kabayaki set. It was delicious and I believe the price was very reasonable for such a complete set.

We had a wonderful experience celebrating a birthday at this Japanese restaurant. The staff were helpful, friendly, and went the extra mile to make the occasion memorable. The food was excellent – from the well-prepared set meals to the variety of à la carte dishes – all enjoyed in the comfort of the private room we requested.

Had a good lunch at Dozo .. food is fresh and tasty but it's a bit pricy. it's good quality that's why the price. Very beautifully decorated restaurant. Most of the staff were friendly and attentive in their service except 1 of them who brought us our last dish. Overall still recommended.

Sashimi set is my favourite, variety of raw fish was absolutely fresh & melted ur mouth, especially dip with light soy sauce & wasabi, only accompanied with rice felt weird. Unagi fried rice taste normal but still considered fragrance. Pork-belly Ramen was nice with the broth, and runny texture of the egg. We also pick some sushi which my favourite is torched mentai salmon sushi as well. I'll visited again for the Sashimi. And also the services was attentive, thank you so much.

The portion is pretty big. The unagi sushi is fine but the uni gunkan isn't really worth the price it's not the freshest, just edible. There's not much option on the conveyor belt as well. There's only 7 types of sushi on the belt 😂 The price is definitely at the higher range.

I've visited this restaurant many times. 1st visit, fell in love immediately.2nd visit with family & they loved it to. The 3rd visit is still good. Upcoming visits really disappoint me. Their food quality slack off a lot. It's so different from my 1st few visits. I don't know what happened. Maybe they changed the chef. Give them another chance after the bad experience. But it just gone worse. Now I'll never visit anymore. It's a shame, from 5 star I once rate them, now their food only worth 2 star.

Some are never satisfied with any eatery they visit. If you're that good, why not open your own restaurant and see how well you can maintain food quality and how many ratings you can earn? Give these places a break—rating them ⭐⭐ or less is too harsh. I personally love this place and have been here many times for lunch, even brought Japanese clients and they love the food here too.

Mixture of gravy doused onto rice passes my taste test. Ayam tiga rasa acceptable although not outstanding to leave a lasting impression. Vege par for the course. Service is quick since we went during off peak hours. Overall it’s a decent restaurant for a quick meal.

Nasi Kandar Beratur is not new to Penang locals. They have a reputation of serving a huge variety of delicious nasi kandar dishes and this store is no different. There's a short queue and the wait (for me) wasn't that long at all as they have enough staff to move customers along fairly quickly. What I had was great - they don't skimp on the kuah campur and when I asked for banjir, they gave me banjir! Flavours are great - I still salivate thinking about it! So, I'll definitely return whenever I can! The place is quite large. So, there's no shortage of tables for you to sit and enjoy your meal.

Good nasi kandar. Tasty curries. The fried chicken and curry squid are recommended as is the fish roe and squid eggs. The mutton claypot biryani was decent but not great.

We choose to eat nasi kandar here. Every time we pass here, seeing many people queuing. In my mind it must be delicious.. Yes it is! So delighted and the taste is awesome. Enjoy eating nasi kandar here which is a popular choice that offers various types of dishes such as fried chicken, squid, shrimp and others. The chicken is fried in the front area and we can choose our favorite part and will get the hot chicken. When we got here we had to queue quite long but for the sake of nasi kandar we queued in turn. It was worth it to queue because the nasi kandar here tastes delicious. For ordering water service is really fast. It feels comfortable to eat nasi kandar here because the atmosphere is very clean and there is a comfortable space. Plenty of chairs and tables within the shop. The price and service is excellent. Satisfied while we had our lunch together with family.

This Bak Kut Teh shop is always full of people during dining hours! The dry and soup Bak Kut Teh were quite decent, with portions that are quite generous. The 南乳猪肉 was crispy and very flavourful ! While it's not the best I've ever had, it's definitely in my top 3 on Penang Island.

The taste had is very normal, mild flavor. The broth was light, not too salty or rich, and the pork was tender but lacked any standout seasoning. It was a simple, comforting dish—nothing special, but not bad either. Just okay. But I believe it’s a more to sober meal, after you have late alcohol session.

Good place to enjoy Bah Kut Teh. The restaurant is located besides the busy road of Bayan Baru. As there are many other eateries and stores around, it is a bit difficult to get a parking lot. The Soup Bah Kut Teh is nice and tasty. Portion is smaller. You can customize the ingredients as you like. The dry Bah Kut Teh however was lower than expected. Vegetables and side dishes are good. The price is average and affordable.

Coming from Klang, this is a good meal. The meat for the dry version is not too dry, and the soup is just nicely flavoured. You can taste the herbs without it being overpowering. The only thing was we couldn't refill the soup as it was late by the time we arrived. Overall, a good hearty dinner for us.

This place is not crowded during our visit. We had our dinner in here. We ordered grilled fish, grilled cockles, and crispy fried squid. Food is okay for us especially squid and grilled fish. But, cockle needs to be improved.

Not so great. I don't think the fish is fresh tastes like old fish and salty. Salted egg squid not bad. Coconut water also tastes acceptable. Overall... not worth the price.

Ikan Bakar Pari 1/5. Prolly cause I late arrive, but the fish is not fresh at all. Maggie Goreng 2.5/5. Okay lar, sweet kind. Telur Dada 5/5. Fluffy while crispy on the side. Surprisingly not that oily.

I took shellout, the rm79.90 for two people. The crabs and the squids were good, especially the squids. The crabs' flesh was so little that I thought they didn't match the price. Since I have sinusitis and may have an attack after eating seafood, I requested to change the kepah with something else. The cashier said I can't change it, and the kepah isn't that much, around 300g (which to me is quite a lot). My sister isn't fond of kepah. It will be good if we can change the kepah to something else, e.g. lalah (my sister enjoys lalah). Need to be aware of the price. I took shellout because the individual dishes cost more than the set ones.

If you would like to test the food of locals that's what you looking for, It’s very good food and service. Highly recommended!

Apparently there are 2 Nurul ikan bakar restaurants here. The one when you found on the road entrance (this restaurant) and there is another one further inside, further down the road. I don't know how was the food and service on the other Nurul ikan bakar, but here they took more than 15 minutes for them to come and take order & clear the table. Their apple 🍏 Asam boi juice is quite delicious. In the end, after 1 hour we arrived and no food was delivered to our table, we decided to cancel our order and go to McDonald's, but then the food arrived just as we about to leave the restaurant. So, we stay and had our meal. Taste wise, nothing to shout about. Their fish is too hard, their Tomyam rather bland, same as their omelet. Their butter prawn 🦐 was quite okay though. Table was cleaned long after the customers left. They really need to improve their services. I hope they do.

The seafood was fresh, deliciously cooked, and the one who took our order is very friendly. It was my second time visit and intend to come back whenever we visit Penang.

Honest feedback: Reasonable price with quality Mee rebus, the state is also very good. Recommend stall for tea time, already eat here many times...

Pasembur was good..nearby got traditional kuih as well.. they are famous for Mee Rebus as well

It was a cheap and tastiest ais kacang a.k.a ABC at Balik Pulau

It was a small food court in the Balik Pulau, and I came here on Monday. I ordered a Mee Goreng and Sirap, then my friend bought a fried chicken steak from the ALIS, and we bought a burger from next stalls. The Mee Goreng was tasted quite nice, and the ALIS fried chicken was tasted like Taiwanese fried chicken steak, yummy. 😋

1. They served delicious fried mee and pasembor (a curry style salad). 2. The service was fast. For a fried mee, you need to wait for them to cook. As it will be served hot on your plate. 3. They will be a queue as there are many customers during peak hours. It is worth a waiting.

Best mee rebus I have tasted in Penang. The pisang goreng from the store beside it is also top notch! Crispy on the outside and soft, succulent on the inside. The teh O ais limau is also a great! I have tasted better pasembur though.

One of my favourite stall. Love the pasembur. I wish I am in Balik Pulau right now. For me, the combination of all ingredients are perfect. Suitable for those who are cannot stand hot and spice. Balik Pulau is rural area, so the environment is not upscale. Price is still cheap. Compared to other stall. Around RM3.50 for food. I would like to suggest to all of you to try eat here.

I have always felt US pizza is nicer than other pizza joints. I have always ordered online and pick them up here. The pizzas are always ready on time for pick up. However I didn't quite like the interior lighting and designs. It always felt gloomy. And I hope US pizza (in general) can improve on shopee / Lazada voucher redemption. As of now, all vouchers are only redeemable at the store but not in the app itself. But this is just my opinion towards US pizza in general, so the rating has nothing to do with this feedback.

Whenever I feel want to have pizza, US pizza always my first choice. And this outlet always my prefer outlet as always clean, friendly staff and with chill music. Keep up the good work!

An average experience. I will choose to order online through delivery rather than eat-in, and I will tell you why. 1. Restaurant ambient needs some upgrading work. I am not sure that whether the aircond are on, because the restaurant is too hot to enjoy the entire dine-in experience. 2. The foods I would say the food is average only. Not too bad that you won’t come back again, but rather you would order whenever you’re in office or house when you’re hungry.

Came to US Pizza Summerton for their Ramadan buffet, was amazed with their selection of pizza, salad, pasta and some side dishes. They even make extra pizza once the flavour is finish, very good service for their buffet price. However, the pasta today was not good, some of it is still hard since not fully cooked? Will definitely come again.

We came here during lunchtime on a workday, and the restaurant was packed with office workers. I enjoyed their Sarawak Dry Noodles, which were served with a flavorful minced pork sauce. The noodles had a slightly chewy and firmer texture, different from the regular wantan mee in Penang. They also offered various chili sauces on the tables, so you could add an extra kick to the noodles.

Was pleasantly surprised to find a noodle shop selling Sarawak laksa. The soup is quite nice, lemak and quite spicey. It had a decent amount of chicken and prawns and a lot of bee Hoon. Will be back to try the pan mee.

Food quality deteriorated, used to be good few years back. The ikan bilis is now consistently so salty, the pork chop was tough to cut through and chew and the small cup of water 90cent and is non refillable. No more next time.

It’s my first time but I really satisfied with their dumpling soup and the sarawakan wan tan mei.. the most special is their sambal so delicious.. will miss their dumplings soup

Penang : This is my last trip to have meal here. Everything getting worst. Food not worth with the price. Deduction of quality & quantity of food. Taiwanese Ru Rou Fan : Your meat replace with fat pig skin!! Omg.. If u out of meat, pls just inform the customer. But, if that is your tactic, you will not survive long.. Sarawak ko loo mee : Just taste of sauce@kicap. The originality taste no more. Lo bak : At least, only this is nice & can be eaten. Drinks : Just taste of sugar. Huh!

Taste is not as good as its look. For me, curry chicken soup is a bit watery, i think if thick a bit then it might be nicer. Black pepper mee taste pepper spice only...maybe other dishes will be nicer. Keep it up.

This is a handmade noodle restaurant, and you can choose from other foods besides noodles. But compared to few years ago, the food in this noodle shop tastes less and less delicious, and the chili sambal also not delicious, the price is much more expensive than before. I wouldn't choose this noodle shop unless necessary. If you want to know how bad it is, you can try the taste, after all, the taste is very subjective, and you and I will have different opinions

the lava krapow too salty, i cant even eat it, drinks too sweet. luckily thai chicken good enough to cover all that.

It's rare to have a terrible experience in Kuala Lumpur or West Coast Malaysia. I believe the Penang branch needs more customer service training. They even serve me in a soiled cup with food smears on it. (Clearly not adequately washed after last customer use). I didn't finish my food or drink; it was the worst experience ever. I've been a faithful customer since 2016, but not for 2025. Definitely not returning.

Very bad food quality. The fried rice is cold and the noodle soup all is ajinomoto. Costly and not delicious at all. Never ever come again. - Done feedback in your website. Please give attention on this issue and get back to me as soon as possible.
