Restaurant
Nestled in a complex with country cooking eateries, pottery, candy, and toy shops, The Old Mill Restaurant is a haven for soul-satisfying Southern comfort food. It's renowned as one of the most popular restaurants in the Great Smokies region. Despite potential wait times, visitors are assured that their breakfast will be worth it. The restaurant is known for serving insanely large portions and is recommended for those with hearty appetites.
We had to wait for about 30 min but it’s well worth the wait. Very nice size portions almost everyone took food home in the place. They don’t have liquor or beer license so pregame lol. Reasonable prices great food. A few floors of tables and tons of people working so service is fast. Gotta have the bread ball’s they serve as breads for the table.

The old Mill is one of the restaurants that lived up to all of the hype! It was so delicious we went twice, and you WILL NOT leave hungry! The corn fritters and chowder were AMAZING, the chicken and dumplings were super good, the pot roast was tasty, and the desserts were to die for. Plus service was great and they were easy going, I don't like salad so I was able to get a cup of fruit instead (wasn't exactly listed as a side but they accommodated. Whether your here early or late your going to wait, but it was nice that they quoted an hr and both times we only waited like 40 mins at most.

We went around 1:30 pm for lunch and had no wait! From all the reviews and word of mouth, was told food was amazing. The fried chicken was superb, but the green beans and mash potatoes were lacking flavor. Mashed potatoes reminded me of boxed potatoes. The chicken n dumplings were good. I was under whelmed with the corn fritters, I was hoping for more of a hushpuppy and flavor. It's basically fried dough. They serve it with maple butter. I am not a fan. The fritter tasted better dipped in the vegetable and corn chowder soup. The soups were good. The corn chowder was better than I expected and had a lot of flavor. It was a mix between gravy and soup. The portion size was generous and we left with Togo boxes. The lunch entrée didn't include dessert.

Wow, another great meal. We loved our late lunch yesterday at the Old Mill Cafe, so today we did a late lunch at the restaurant. Fantastic. Valeria did a wonderful job and I can't wait to return to the area to eat here again. I had the open faced turkey sandwich with beef gravy and fries. The restaurant portions are more than the cafe's but cost about a dollar more. Well worth it. No wait for seats, either. Military discount is much appreciated, too.

Fantastic and Beautiful Restaurant , highly recommend. This was our first time as we're traveling on vacation. I've been in the area 5 days and wished I'd found it sooner. We had a great table overlooking the water on the second floor. My husband had prime rib cooked perfectly for humans I had turkey and stuffing meal with fried okra , mashed potatoes, greenbeans, corn chowder soup. For desert we had blackberry cobler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The blackberry cobler was Amazing ,in fact the best I've ever had !! I have to say they have alot of great staff and our waitress Cheslee D was spot on with refills and checking on us, very polite, great at multitasking, she's good for your business. Our meal price included desert, soup and salad and really good portions. 30.99 for 8 oz prime rib, baked potato, green beans ,garden salad and a cup a soup plus desert...Outstanding food 😋 Outstanding service.

My wife and visiting in town decided to try this place, based on good reviews. Well it was actually pretty good. I had the omelette as pictured and the wife had the classic breakfast which is a sample of all the classics. The only thing the small pancakes were served cold. Other than that it was pretty good, in fact the grits were pretty good too, and I do recommend. It's not a place I would go to every day, but I do give it a good review. Prices were pretty reasonable as well. 👍

There was a long wait to dine at this restaurant. We gave our name and waited over 30 minutes for them to call us in the loud speaker. While we waited, we browsed the adjoining gift shop. They have so many fun and unique things for sale. When they finally called our name we went back to the restaurant and we were seated. I ordered liver and onions. My companion ordered fried chicken tenders. Both meals came with seasoned green beans, mashed potatoes, corn chowder. While we wait for our meals, we were brought some sweet fried things. They looked like hush puppies but they were better than that. So good. Our whole meal was delicious and definitely worth the wait.

Great place to get some amazing southern comfort food. A little bit of a wait but they have a general store you can explore while you’re waiting. We had the southern fried chicken legs and pork chops. Fried perfectly and served with their corn fritters, corn chowder, side salads, green beans and mashed potatoes. For dessert we had pecan pie and blackberry cobbler.

New American restaurant
Local Goat in Pigeon Forge is a well-liked casual dining destination offering modern American cuisine crafted from locally sourced ingredients. The menu boasts an array of inventive starters including deep-fried deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes, along with a variety of gourmet burgers such as the Elvis burger featuring peanut butter, smoked bacon, and fried banana. With its focus on fresh, local ingredients and creative dishes, Local Goat provides a laid-back atmosphere to savor delicious food and craft draft beer.
Lunch was fantastic. We were seated quickly. The server Crystal did a great job and was so friendly. She recommended a couple of burgers that were great. You can't eat these burgers with two hands though. They have to be cut due to how tall the burger is. Wow! Great lunch.

We came here for lunch while visiting a local event. The place is cute and we got seated somewhat quick for how packed it was. Our server was very friendly and gave great recommendations on the most popular meals. Our orders came fast and food was definitely delicious and had that home-cooked taste. We'll definitely be back next time we come visit!

This restaurant is well worth the wait! We had BBQ chicken nachos for an appetizer and OMG were they good!!!! We also had the TN glazed burger with bacon and onion rings and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The teriyaki marinated steak kabobs with rice were very good also. The creme Brulee was sooo good. This place is the GOAT! Lol

This was the best meal we ate while in town on vacation hands down. Our server (Kelsey or Casey maybe?) was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed everything we ordered and the lemonade was SO refreshing! The food was hot and we left very full. There was plenty of seating and we got in and out for lunch before the crowds. Definitely go here if you want a fantastic meal! (oh and everything is made in house the day of). I recommend the crab cake sandwich because it was delicious, seasoned & cooked perfectly and filling. Though my daughter's hot honey chicken sandwich looked amazing too, the breading was so crispy and the chicken was hanging out of the bun it was so big. Great place that we will visit again next time we visit.

Listen… okay… the only thing I got a picture of were the Deep Fried Deviled Eggs. Everything else got absolutely inhaled before a proper “phone eats first” action happened. The restaurant is busy. No doubt. We waited about 35 minutes for a table but it was so worth the wait. The first time we went, Kelsey took care of us. Legit probably one of the best waitresses out there. She is hilarious, very knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive. We went back the next night (no shame) with our whole family and still had outstanding service and food with another server. The food is incredible. Everything (and I mean everything) is made from scratch. Highly recommend the bison burger and shrimp and grits. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Pigeon Forge.

We had been wanting to try Local Goat for a long time but always went to our other favorites instead when we were on vacation. We are so glad we finally went. This place was so delicious! I got the BGT burger and my husband got the Bison meatloaf. We ordered an appetizer of the stuffed peppers with goat cheese and also a side salad with their house made honey-lime vinegarette dressing. All the food tasted amazing! The burger was massive, the fries were seasoned perfectly. It did take probably an hour to get our food due to some sort of error, but the manager was kind enough to take the appetizer off our bill. We will definitely be going back ok our next trip!
Amanda D — Google review
This place was above and beyond our expectations, they stay pretty busy so we did have to wait (we went on a Friday night) but it was well worth the wait. Excellent atmosphere, friendly staff and wonderful amazing food. (The best we’ve had). Our waitress was Kelsey and she was absolutely amazing. She was very proud and passionate about everything being made from scratch in the kitchen and being locally sourced. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and very kind and helpful. She was also very attentive. She was the GOAT (Greatest of all time, pun intended) she made this an even better experience than it already was. I definitely can’t wait to come back. 10/10! Definitely eat here if your the area.

Highly recommend! Best to make a reservation. We were in and out in less than an hour with our reservation. The prices are great. The food is to die for and our waitress was super sweet and very attentive. We will be back :)

Southern restaurant (US)
Mama's Farmhouse is a renowned family-style restaurant in Pigeon Forge, TN, offering all-you-can-eat traditional Southern food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu features Mama's specialties like buttermilk biscuits, chicken tenders, Belgian waffles, and hash brown casserole. Known for its immersive Southern-style breakfast experience, the restaurant serves popular dishes such as grits, bacon, eggs, and fresh fruits.
Mama's Farmhouse was impressively clean and delicious. There is ample parking, with views of the Smokies and plenty of activities nearby. The waiting area is large and superbly clean. I don't think there was a speck of dust to be seen. There are nice rocking chairs outside also. I had a take-out order and was greeted by multiple staff members immediately. Everyone was very nice and helpful, and did not act inconvenienced at all when I needed to add a couple of things to my order. They have many homemade items for sale in the waiting/checkout area, including their own strawberry jelly/jam, and one other flavor that I can't recall (I think peach maybe). I forgot to get a photo, but my husband loved the banana pudding. I don't care for banana pudding, but I tried it at his request, and I'll admit that it was particularly good compared to one I had tried the day before. It definitely tasted like it was made with real bananas and good ingredients. It was obvious that they take pride in their restaurant and want to keep it nice. I overheard a manager or owner talking about traffic for later in the day, and trying to prepare for an influx of customers and large parties...He was already thinking ahead, and making sure they were staffed properly and that everything runs smoothly. Overall, it's a cute place with great food that feels like Grandma's country cooking. The fried okra was terrific, and the mashed potatoes and gravy were outstanding. There's plenty of seating, games and rocking chairs outside, toys for kids, and friendly employees.

Stopped in for brunch and noticed they had all you can eat. My husband ordered a Blue Plate Special and I opted for the buffet! 🫣 It was all brought to me!!! OMG! AMAZING! Was told I could order extra of anything that they had put on the table! Pic says it all!!! Best chocolate gravy! It was all great!! I promise that you will not leave hungry 🥰

Our family of 4 dined here on a Saturday night and this was our experience. Atmosphere: This place is full of southern charm. The farmhouse appeal is carried with detail throughout. We especially liked the two ceiling fans linked on a pulley system. There are photo op spots around the property outside with a face-in-hole board, rocking chairs, old trucks, and even a tractor. Game Space: We loved that this restaurant had a little outdoor game area for those that were waiting. After dinner we enjoyed a game of hooks, but there was also ping pong, corn hole, and a large scale connect four and a checkers board. Food: Dinner on Saturday night included fried chicken, country fried steak, and ham. We also rotated through sides of chicken & dumplings, mac & cheese, green beans, hush puppies, and sweet potato casserole. The chicken was lightly breaded and moist, the cubed steak was tender, and the ham was ok but nothing special. All of the sides were good - especially the biscuits and strawberry jam! The chocolate cobbler desert was very fabulous, but the banana pudding was disgusting. The bananas weren’t ripe enough and it didn’t have a traditional wafer texture. Disappointment for my kids who really love banana pudding. Service: Noe was a great server! She kept drinks topped off and had dinner refills replenished quickly.

Wait time to be seated wasn't bad but once seated we told our waitress what sides we wanted in hopes it would make things go quicker. It didn't we waited 40min or more for our food. When it finally came out we asked to have another order put in since it was all you can eat and the waitress gave us attitude. The serving sizes brought for 3 people were laughable. The starter was supposed to be one for each person but we only got one total. I had to ask for knives which weren't brought. When the manager came over and we told him what was going on and he told waitress we needed knives and she told him we didn't ask. He put in 2nd food order but overall food was lacking. Chicken was dry, potatoes extremely lumpy, country fried steak was salty and overcooked and was more like salisbury steak texture than cube steak. The banana pudding was more like fluff than cream. We tried this location because we love the Alamo which is a sister restaurant but we will never be back to Mama's again. Waitress was Keyona.
Daneille R — Google review
Really enjoyed this place. It is similar to Paula Deen’s but better as they let you swap out your sides after you start with the initial 4. The fried chicken and fish were delicious. The biscuits with strawberry glaze you can put on them are scrumptious. The Mac and cheese, taters and dumplings were great. The peach cobbler was good and comes with a scoop of ice cream. The corn on the cob was awful, dried out and old, we went for lunch I suspect it was from the night prior. The chocolate cobbler didn’t taste good, not a brownie or pudding I tried it but it wasn’t for me some folks may love it. The summer salad was a small bowl of little tomatoes mostly.

Had my 60th birthday party here. Food was wonderful! Staff didn't think before setting hot dishes in front of the baby. And then he almost spilled ham juice down my niece's back. Thankfully he missed. Other than those two issues, service was great. The food was delicious! Loved the fried chicken!
BL W — Google review
I thought the hype about this place meant they'd have the best-tasting soul food breakfast, $17 per person, served family-style. But they didn't have a tasty breakfast; it was just really cheap, dry food served. The chicken tender isn't good, the eggs come from a premix box, the biscuits are dry and not the best, bacon is bacon, and the sausage patty... They're all cheap frozen packaged foods and they had a funky smell from the plate and bowl, and that's what you get for breakfast. I don't understand the high rating; they could have done it better. The restaurant is really dirty. Paula Dean was very good when try the first time there.

Barbecue restaurant
Nestled in the charming town of Dillsboro, Haywood Smokehouse has become a beloved destination for barbecue enthusiasts and locals alike. This eatery specializes in Texas-style barbecue, offering mouthwatering brisket that is smoked for an impressive 16 hours, ensuring it's so tender you won't need a knife. The ribs are equally enticing, with meat that effortlessly falls off the bone.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! We stopped at Haywood Smokehouse on our way home from vacation, and I’m still thinking about it! Hands down, the best brisket I’ve ever had—tender, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. I’m not usually a big fan of brisket, but that changed today. The service was incredibly friendly, and the prices were unbeatable for the quality you get. Every bite was perfect. The sides were just as impressive—the brisket tip baked beans were some of the best baked beans I’ve ever had. I seriously can’t brag enough about this place. I’m already planning a day trip back just to eat here again. If you’re anywhere near, don’t miss it!

I have nothing bad to say... but I will point out some real positives. When you go to a BBQ pithouse you have expectations, and mine started with my early years in Texas. They claimed to be Texas good and they were. Not everything I've seen in a Texas old fashioned restaurant was there but there was enough and the key to it all is their nicely smoked Brisket. We moved to Florida from Texas and most the places we can find in central Florida don't stand up to Texas standards. Haywood Smokehouse has some good enough Brisket to make a Texan respect it and you don't want to put any sauces on this stuff, because that would be a crime. You may be tempted to order something else besides Brisket, but if you're a Brisket lover than don't bother with the rest of the menu! I will add pictures of the menu that are from October 2, 2025 for reference. The pictures are from our lunch and they show how nicely they sliced the Brisket, because too thin and you lose the moist juces that are then just flowing to the plate... nice and thick here. The "Burnt Ends Baked Beans" are just what you think they are, with brisket ends chopped into them, very nice. The fries were double fried for a crispier texture. You probably won't have room for desert, and that would be a shame, so be sure to get the Southern Banana Pudding to go so you don't miss out. Comfortable atmosphere perfectly suited to a Texas style smokehouse. We will be going back for more... after we finish the pound of brisket we ordered to take home. Ignore the fact that I nibbled off a fair bit of that before I too the picture of the to go brisket!

Great brisket and ribs here! Small town charm with people who know how to make BBQ. Everything was great with 2 caveats. The sweet tea could use more sugar, and my girlfriend didn't like the potato salad at all. The burnt ends baked beans were great, and the macaroni was decent. Good service though and worth the short wait to be seated. I'll gladly come back here.
Philip P — Google review
The staff provided excellent service and the food was tasty and the need was very tender. I had ribs, French fries and macaroni and cheese. My partner had brisket, green beans and potato salad. We both had pea on pie with ice cream. Everything was amazingly delicious

So good! Baked beans!!!! You will Never find a place like this to compare flavors i love this place. They cook their meats tender juicy smokey flavor 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 I had turkey plate with collard greens and Brunswick stew, hubby had ribs and brisket . Definitely worth stopping. 👌

This place was amazing! We tried the ribs, brisket, hickory smoked sausage, and for the sides we got the mac n cheese, potato salad, and, the baked beans. The service was great, we got our food fast, and it only took about 15 min. to get seated. The quality of the food was excellent and the price very reasonable. 10/10 experience!!

The Texas two step was great and the sauces are all good. I haven't been to a BBQ place where I enjoy so many of their different sauces. The sweet red, mild yellow and even the strawberry BBQ sauce were all so good. I don't think you can go wrong here. Also, all the locals brag on this place. Definitely a must visit if you're in the area. Vibe feels like a typical southern BBQ place. Two thumbs way up!

Nestled in downtown Sevierville, Tennessee, The Appalachian is a culinary gem that offers a modern twist on traditional Appalachian cuisine. Chef-owner David Rule, an alumnus of Blackberry Farm, showcases his expertise by incorporating locally sourced ingredients into the menu. The restaurant's interior boasts intricate artwork and stylish white chairs, creating an inviting ambiance for diners to savor dishes like shrimp and grits, rainbow trout, or braised short ribs.
I stopped in as a quick refuge “mommy only” moment away from the Wilderness at the Smokies & the kiddos. I made my reservation online for 8:45 p.m. (the latest slot), not realizing the place closed at 9 p.m. Nevertheless, I was warmly welcomed & assured my reservation would be honored. My server provided excellent suggestions since it was my first time. My mocktail was something with lemon 🍋. It was so refreshing & not overly sweet, as requested. I tried the chicken skins as my appetizer. It was phenomenal! Crispy w/ notes of salty sweetness due to the glaze. I ordered the trout w/ mashed potatoes & broccolini w/ the bone marrow add on. It came w/ homemade cornbread in its own skillet. Everything was great, but the trout was THE BEST I have ever had in my life! It was well seasoned w/ the skin on (how I love it), cooked over the flame w/ fresh corn, spinach, pecans, & chopped apples. The favor profiles here are mind blowing! The service was great, & the owner & chef stopped by to explain each dish & to ensure my experience was special, even dining alone. I highly recommend the place & I will be back!

Best steak dinner I’ve had in a long time! We stumbled upon this little gem while vacationing with friends in Pigeon Forge. Our waiter Sam was great! He was attentive, friendly and walked us through the menu before we ordered! I had the Hanger Steak $52, and honestly it melts in your mouth! It was delicious!! My hubby had the burger $24, plus our friends had the lamb chops and a steak. We sat outside on the patio and had it all to ourselves! The patio could use some love for sure. Overall an amazing experience. Chef Derek even made the rounds to check in with our table. A very nice touch indeed! Dinner was $150 for 2 with tip.

Fantastic food. I mean absolutely top notch. Best restaurant I've found in Seiverville. My wife said it was the best burger she's had. I loved the fresh veggies and hummus. Hanger steak was cooked perfectly. The mushrooms and gravy was superb. Cornbread in the cast Iron was fantastic. Ben was a great waiter plus he was running the bar. Kitchen was quick. Ambiance was nice. I hope to return at least once on this trip.

Amazing food! Delicious wood-fired grill smell as you walk in. The shrimp and grits was a mouthwatering dish with the right level of spiciness, and the filet steak was one of the best we’ve had (which is saying a lot!). Their atmosphere is peaceful and upscale. Really glad we found this place!

My husband and I had the most incredible experience for our 10-year anniversary at the Chef’s Table. Derek, the head chef, was a rockstar and so great at explaining all the food, flavor and pairings. Our waitress Amber was very sweet and attentive. The food, attention to detail, and the atmosphere were perfect. We both agree it was our best dining experience to date. Will return!

On our way to Gatlinburg and found this FANTASTIC restaurant in Sevierville. The Appalachian was highly rated by 2 of our friends and we completely understand why. Beginning with the staff, our waitress, Miriah was so sweet and attentive; even down to the menu which was personalized with our Anniversary date. Such a sweet touch. Hubby ordered the Fried chicken skins drizzled with honey, which was so delicious and crispy and the serving size was very generous. I had the watermelon goat cheese salad which was so refreshing. The marrying of the creaminess of the goat cheese with sweet watermelon was outstanding. My husband then had the Elk strip steak and I must say I’m not a red meat lover but the steak was so clean tasting and perfectly tender, I loved it too! I had the Rainbow trout which was also outstanding. We also loved the ability to be able to watch the chefs prepare the meals as it was all open and had some fun with them too. It was a nice touch also to have the head chef bring dessert to the table and describe the dessert. Those guys truly make art on plates with food. Finally, We both ordered the blueberry basil goat cheese Cheesecake with pistachio crust which was like an explosion of flavor in my mouth where you just had to let the bite sit in your mouth and melt. Hmmm…… so delicious! It’s so good, We will be back this week for round two! We also have our compliments to the owner who runs a top knotch establishment! What a great start to our Anniversary celebration in the Gatlinburg area!

My husband and I booked here to celebrate our honeymoon! We were not disappointed! The food, drinks and service were amazing. We got the hummus as an appetizer- highly recommend. I got the lamb and my husband got the steak as an entree- all delicious! They even gave us a champagne toast on the house to help us celebrate!

It was easy to make a reservation and be seated promptly. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about their rotating menu items. We enjoyed drinks, appetizers, entrees and desert with coffee service and start to finish, it was excellent. Quality locally sourced menu selections in a pleasant polished atmosphere. We will be back soon :)

Paula Deen's Family Kitchen is a popular spot in the Smoky Mountains, offering hearty Southern cuisine served family-style. The restaurant is known for its laid-back atmosphere and generous portions of classic Southern dishes like fried chicken, pot roast, biscuits and gravy, and fried green tomatoes. Guests can enjoy breakfast treats such as pancakes, sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon, and creamy hashbrown casserole.
Unique dinning experience. You order for the table and get unlimited "refills" on each item. Delicious food; the starter garlic bread was crazy good. And don't get me started on how tasty the fried chicken was. Even the sweet tea was perfect. I recommend trying this spot out. Also, would also like to note the beautiful & clean atmosphere and welcoming staff, very mindful to those with a disability! 👍

The atmosphere was lovely with elevated views of the Island square. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was meh. On par with mid range buffet quality. The biscuits were fluffy and out of this world, unfortunately the rest was disappointing. The pork chops looked steamed and soggy. The meatloaf was almost overly tender and the tomato glaze tasted like plain ketchup. Everything from greens, gravy, and okra were too salty. Great experience, but overall I would pass on eating at Paula Deen's again.
Wild R — Google review
Service was great. Food was not good at all…..everything tasted like it came out of a box and just warmed. Like canned food. But the service was great. Also there was dripping all over the side of the dishes as they brought the food out. Presentation of food is very unappealing. The chicken dumplings taste like packet chicken soup and the sibling are way too chewy and rubbery. Creamy mashed potatoes taste like boxed potatoes. And Mac and cheese taste like craft Mac and cheese straight out the box.
Christiana A — Google review
Excellent food, and service! We went on a busy Sunday, and waited an hour. I'm not complaining, because we passed time on the Island until they texted when our table was ready. The gift shop was very nice, and affordable. The food was incredible! We ordered the 3 meal family dinner and had enough that we couldn't finish it all. We drank blueberry and strawberry lemonade that was so refreshing. The inside was nice and clean. We had a beautiful view of the island from the big windows, while sitting on the second floor. The only complaint I have is the restrooms are downstairs, and very small! So be sure to use the bathroom before being seated, otherwise you will have to take a trip back down the escalator.

The food alone would not bring me back, but the whole experience is what makes it a repeat! Dont get wrong, the food was good, but just your average food. It is served home style which is a nice way to get a little of everything verses what's usually just brought out on your plate. Being just my husband and myself, the basic pick plan was more then enough food with leftovers to spare. Your adventure starts when you arrive and check in (if you made a reservation). In the meantime the whole entrance floor is a store featuring many Paul Deen exclusive merchandise and great props for photo opportunities. When received a text after 10 minutes letting us know to make our way to the host stand. From there you are taken upstairs to the open dinning area. The view was great!! In this location you're overlooking the island and the famous Faris wheel. Made you feel like you were in the space needle in a sorta way. Our waiter was fast, and very friendly. We found ourselves chatting with other tables and comparing what dishes we each had tried. I would recommend, was had a great time. Thank you to all the staff and hopefully next time we're in town we'll see y'all again!

This was our second time eating here and enjoyed it just as much. It was fairly busy so I recommend making a reservation. It was a little slow once we were seated to see our server, but after that the drinks and food were quick to arrive. Food is bottomless. We got the fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, and fried fish. For our sides, we chose the creamed corn, green beans, Mac n cheese, and creamed potatoes. For me the highlights were the fried fish and green beans. Would return again!
Hanna H — Google review
The fish was good the chicken was ok. The quantity of food they serve even for one person is quite a lot. Although the taste could improve a bit, the cream corn was nice and the okra the rice could change to the mac and cheese. The lemonade was quite sweet, but the caramel cake was nice though.
Taslimm Q — Google review
We would give this place a 5 but our waiter Key was simply awful. Not sure he understands the gratuity system for tips, he had a poor attitude, was lazy and we had to ask for everything. Waited nearly 10 minutes just to take our drink and order. We saw the other waitstaff walk by a hundred times and him hardly ever. Couldn’t get more drinks, had to beg for seconds and we got the dessert which had no whipped cream or ice cream like everyone else’s did and we couldn’t get the dirty dishes off the table. As far as the food it was phenomenal. We have been to Paula Deen’s in Savannah and used to eat at the one in Foley Alabama routinely before it closed. Love Paula Deen’s wish the service was better for us.

Whether you're fueling up before hitting the Smoky Mountains or winding down after a day of adventure, this casual eatery has you covered. Indulge in their signature apple fritters and homemade apple butter, served with every meal.
My fiancé and his family took me here to this famous Southern restaurant, and it was one of the best Southern family meals I’ve ever had. I’d recommend getting a reservation as it gets quite busy! The interior is a large old farmhouse with different wooden tables and chairs. Ours chairs were the swinging kind! Our waitress was lovely and greeted us with a complimentary basket of their famously delicious Apple Fritters with Apple Butter. We were also given a complimentary cup of their signature Apple Mint Julep. I got the Country Fried Steak with White Gravy as my entrée, and chose Grandma’s Broccoli Cheddar Soup. We got the Mashed Potatoes and Mac ‘N’ Cheese as our refillable mains for the table. Everything came out hot, fresh, and prompt. It was all SCRUMPTIOUS! The soup was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. You can’t leave here hungry, that’s for sure! The food was filling, delicious and good for the soul. I absolutely loved this place and would love to return someday!

We always love the apple barn restaurant, but Shanna really made our experience one of a kind!! She provided the best service we have received since being in town. We arrived here for dinner a little late at night but everyone was warm and inviting. The food was amazing from start to finish. We loved every bit of it. I got the trio meal which included chicken pot pie, chicken and dumplings and fried chicken. It was the best chicken and dumplings I have ever had!! Before the meal comes, you get complimentary Juleps and fresh apple fritters with apple butter. You also get a choice of soup. We got broccoli and cheddar soup which was delicious. We got the Mac n cheese, green beans and mashed potatoes. Everything tasted so fresh. We were mesmerized. We had no room for dessert and was so pleased when they let us take it to go. Would definitely recommend and return!

This place is amazing. You get so much for the cost of your meal. Britney, our waitress was very good. Very attentive. And walking around the shops afterwards was a lot of fun. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Well my wife and I tried this place because it was recommended to us. We are from Las Vegas and we did like the service and the area for sure. The food was good, but not as good as we thought it would be. Maybe it was our choices, or the combination of choices. You get 3 side dish PER TABLE not per PERSON. At least that's what that said. Kinda strange option. Because I would probably next time sit alone order for myself, then other my sides including okra, and then go hey friend can I join you, oh look it looks like you have order you sides already, hey let's share... My friend shouldn't be forced to eat sides he don't like or vis-ver-sa. I should be able to order my own. Now I had the pork chops, and they were a bit too salty. But otherwise they are ok. Wife has the grilled catfish, and she too said it was ok. It's a lot of food because of the carbohydrates that come along with the side dishes, and then the desert that comes with it. Of course I wasn't able to eat it at the end. I had them put it to go and it was smashed put together so that was a bit unprofessional. If you eat a lot of food then yes this is the place. But if you don't and you plan to share then don't go here cuz they don't even like people sharing. Would I come here again probably not, But again that's just me. Overall I give it an okay spot..👌

Super packed so get there early . We had a 50min wait with 23 parties ahead of us for a table of 2. Our waiter did the bare minimum, not that we needed a whole bunch but there was just no effort given. My country fried steak was slightly overcooked. Not to the point it was burnt but you could just tell if they cooked it a min or 2 less it'd have been perfect. It was the least satisfying CFS that I've ever eaten. The biscuits & gravy however we're some of the best! We also enjoyed their complimentary apple pineapple juice and beignets. Overall not worth all the hype that was given ,but you get a hefty portion for your $.

Incredible staff, beautiful dining areas with tons of character. Food was not bad, just not great. Looks the part as you can see in the photos and the food was “fine.” Scrambled eggs were like powdered eggs, gravy seems like chain restaurant which this place is not…I’d think they’d rock a great southern country gravy but it was meh. Again, the people are super sweet and attentive. Kitchen needs work…shame this place gets out cooked by Cracker Barrel.

LOVE the outdoor seating. Especially during the winter when they have the fire pit going❤️Great selection of food. Excellent service. Of course everyone loves the Apple Fritters, and apple butter. My only complaint is that they took away the grill cheese sandwich with the chicken noodle soup. That was all of our favorites. Please bring it back

The Old Mill Pottery House Café is a charming eatery in Pigeon Forge that offers housemade baked goods using grain ground at an on-site mill. It serves classic Southern comfort food and bistro-style lunches, with lighter takes on southern cuisine. A local favorite is the pimento cheese sandwich paired with tomato basil soup. The café reflects the essence of Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains, making it a popular choice among visitors looking for authentic local fare in the area.
Fantastic service and food! Our party had burgers, the fried cod special, spinach Muenster quiche and cafe wedge salad, as well as carrot cake, coconut cream pie and peanut butter pie. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. The complementary bread was warm and fluffy. As other reviewers have mentioned, the hostess is not friendly and acts like you are a burden when you approach the stand to put your name on the list. Replace her and it’s a perfect experience! The text you receive with a link to show how many people are in line in front of you is really nice.

Found the best sandwich in Tennessee. The pimento cheese blt is the quintessential southern sandwich. So good! We enjoyed everything we got and will definitely be adding this to our regular spots to eat! Family friendly. Clean. Good portion sizes. A little pricey but the portions help make up for it. It was hard to find parking so we almost missed out.

Nice restaurant in downtown Pigeon Forge. Had about a 20 minute wait. You can sit outside or inside at umbrella tables. We were seated inside near a window and it was a nice view. We had the shrimp and grits and the maple pork chop. Pork chop was really good, had been open fire grilled. Was not dry and had a good taste. Shrimp and grits were good too. Got a side of jalapeno corn casserole and if you love lots of cream cheese, you will like it. Had a one glass of Moscato, not the best, it was a bit bitter. Total bill was $44. Service was excellent and there was not a lengthy wait for food. Bought a loaf of cinnamon pecan raisin bread on the way out, it is pretty dry but might be better toasted with butter and preserves.
J B — Google review
The service was pretty good. The wait was ridiculously long. There were parties getting seated before us even though they came after us. They claimed they had texted us earlier but we never got the text,so make sure they get your phone number right. I actually heard the same problem when we were leaving happening to another family. The food is reasonably priced, but not the best around. The atmosphere is cute.

We snagged an outside table at the back on a lovely afternoon which was beautiful and relaxing. We tried the soup and sandwich combos. The triple club was perfect. The dressing added was the perfect addition to kick it up a notch. The vegetable beef soup was tasty, I prefer mine with chunks of meat instead of hamburger but it still ranked high on the soup scale. My mom had the French onion soup which she enjoyed, no skimping on the cheese topping here! The service was a little slow but with the beautiful surroundings it was nice to slow down a bit and just enjoy the company of those at the table.

The food was good, Service was good and they offered indoor and outdoor seating. Very beautiful gardens to sit among. The homemade loaded chips are fantastic! Highly recommend. Good place for families to eat. Affordable menu.

As soon as you start to walk into the property, you are greeted by a beautiful courtyard area, with many different types of vegetation, as well as a very nice outdoor seating area. When you walk inside the restaurant the atmosphere is immediately striking. The food was very good. I highly recommend the quiche because its filling, delicious, and inexpensive. I will say out waitress wasn't bad, but she wasn't good. However, I would not let that stop me from eating here again.

If you’re looking for delicious Southern food done right, this is the place. The cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and high-quality dishes made for a fantastic experience. We especially loved the pecan-crusted chicken with toasted marshmallow moonshine sauce and the shrimp & grits—both were amazing! Our group also enjoyed the pork platter, black and blue steak, fried green tomatoes, and the coconut cream pie. I even loved the dishware so much that I visited the pottery shop and brought some home. Can’t wait to come back!

Nestled in the heart of Gatlinburg, The Peddler Steakhouse has been a beloved dining spot since 1976. Its rustic yet refined ambiance and proximity to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park make it a popular choice for both locals and tourists. The restaurant offers an array of delectable options including grilled beef, chicken, trout, and a robust salad bar that comes with every entree.
We made a reservation, wanted a table overlooking the water. We arrived a few minutes early and they seated us right away. Our waitress had just seated a table of 16 people and we thought I we'd have to wait a while but she was in to of her game. She had the large group plus 4 smaller tables and never missed a beat and still had time to chat. Rare find these days. Ordered an Old Fashion (good choice). Hubby had the salad bar and said it was the largest and one if the best he's ever had. Had the ribeye with a side if fried. The ribeye was cooked to perfection. Fries were typical steak fries. Our waitress visited several times and did not let the large group take away from her other customers. Loved the atmosphere and service. Will definitely be back.

We came here for a nice date night, and it did not disappoint! We got a filet mignon with a baked potato and a New York strip with steak fries. Both were cooked to perfection. We also got dessert and devoured it in minutes 😂 Our servers were super sweet and did an amazing job. I would say the only disappointment was they don’t have mashed potatoes on their menu, I made my own out of the baked potato so it was ok.

Been coming to Gatlinburg since 2013 every single year have never tried the Peddlers steakhouse before. Not quite sure how this has happened but wow…… Reservations are strongly recommended. We reserved a few weeks back and got a window seat Creekside within the first 10 minutes of being there a black bear came down and walked the creek as seen in the photos in the short video. The salad bar was very heavily variety. I can honestly say that the smoked oysters and anchovies were the freshest I’ve ever had anywhere. The waitress and the staff was very friendly everything including the staff was very clean and in order and organized. The bathrooms are so clean you could eat in them. I ordered a 12 ounce ribeye medium, and the Wife ordered a 14 ounce New York strip medium. Let me tell you and all the reviews I’ve ever done which is very quite extensive over 10 states and probably 150 different restaurants or steakhouses. These are by far the best steaks I have ever eaten. If Gordon Ramsay was eating at the peddler, he would clap. This is a true gem and I cannot wait till next year to come back and revisit it again. PS I am trying to get reservations again before we leave. Fingers crossed. Bravo to the management and staff of the Pedaler truly, this was the most favorite restaurant in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge area.

We spent the later half of the week in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, and were so excited to eat at the Peddler before heading back home! We LOVED every part of our meal here. The salad bar was amazing and had so many choices! I overfilled my salad a couple times, but it’s hard not to when you like so many of the toppings offered! The 12 ounce ribeye was the best steak I’ve ever had! It was cooked perfectly and had such good flavor! Every one in my family absolutely loved their meals as well. Service was amazing and super attentive! We loved watching how quickly the staff bussed empty tables in order to have a smooth turn-over for people waiting to be seated. Beautiful scenery too! We will definitely make this our “go-to” place the next time we visit the area! 😁

Just wow!! From the service to our food! Our steaks were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. Not overly seasoned so you can actually taste the meat. The salad bar was great, even close to closing time. The fired green beans were also great. Our new go to place while in town.

Great atmosphere; had a table by the river and we even saw a bear!!! Filet mignon and the salad bar were amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. Reservations book out 2 weeks in advance, so try to get a river view! It is soooo worth it.

My husband and I made reservations about 3 weeks in advance and were extremely excited about The Peddler Steakhouse. They did not disappoint! The atmosphere 👌"chefs kiss". We reserved a late night table seated by the riverside which was lit up. During dinner we saw bears walking along the river and it was so cool. The steak was phenomenal!!! I definetly recommend getting reservations though, it was busy. Don't skip dessert!!!
Jessica W — Google review
We were extremely fortunate we got one of the last unreserved tables for the 5 pm opening, so definitely call and make a reservation because it is worth eating here. The food is delicious. They bring the steak to the table and you select the style and size you are interested in. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The shrimp was amazing. The meal does come with a salad bar and you will not go away hungry. They do offer the salad bar as a separate item, it is a standard one with your vegetables, toppings and salad options not one that is more buffet style with meats. The staff is amazing.

Nestled in Sevierville, just a short drive from Pigeon Forge, Applewood Farmhouse Grill and its sister restaurant offer a charming dining experience surrounded by orchards. The historic location was once home to horse-drawn wagons and cattle. The menu features classic American dishes like omelets, pancakes, and southern favorites for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
We loved our dinner with Mikey V! He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly positive—going above and beyond to treat us like family and make us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed hearing about the sweet tea he made himself—it was absolutely delicious with the perfect balance of sweetness. I tried the trio of fried chicken, pot pie, and dumplings. The fried chicken might have been my favorite, and Mikey shared that everything is made fresh—you can definitely taste the difference. The absolute standout, though, was the apple fritters. They were out-of-this-world good! We highly recommend stopping here if you’re in Pigeon Forge—it was one of our favorite meals of the trip!

This restaurant was decent. We were seated right away and our food came quickly. All the entrees were outstanding, but they seemed to have missed the mark on their sides; they were all just mediocre. In the end, it was kind of pricey for the quality of food. The complimentary apple fritters were just OK, but the apple butter that comes with it was pretty good. Probably not a place we will visit again.

Went in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised to be served apple fritters with apple butter as a complimentary appetizer. I had the chicken dumplings that were good , but not amazing. To my surprise they also came with 2 sides and soup. I chose collard greens which were delicious and mashed potatoes which still had chunks of the potatoes in them like grandma used to make. Would definitely go back again. They have large portions so you won't leave hungry.

This is a fantastic facility, not just the restaurant. The food was very good, it came out quickly and right off the grill. We both had the country skillet. They're complementary apple fritters with apple water and their juice was equally good. We walked around the grounds while we waited for our table and found an amazing candy store, I had the get some dark chocolate almond bark and dark chocolate orange peels. It's possible to spend 3 or 4 hours here just checking everything out.

Parked, went in, got sat immediately but then waited for just a couple of minutes or so for our server to get with us. Service was good but nothing extraordinary. Same as the food. Something exactly like my mom or grandma would make. The biscuits and gravy here are the best item on the menu personally speaking. Recommend to give it a shot once especially for the gift shop.

We were there for lunch but would definitely try breakfast and dinner then next time were around! Totally recommend!

Great place to try great foods. I thoroughly enjoyed their foods with my friends. Their star menu were great and so does their apple sauce, donuts balls and jam. Loved their hospitality and gesture when we had to replace one of our sides. The lady who served us was also great, she was an absolute star in marketing (good way) she convinced us to try different menu that we didn't know. Would love to visit them again if Lord is willing.

Joey's Pancake House is a beloved daytime diner that has been serving up delicious comfort-food breakfasts since 1966. This mom and pop restaurant offers a wide variety of mouthwatering options, including world-famous signature pancakes, golden waffles, country ham, and other breakfast classics. Visitors can choose from an extensive menu featuring specialty pancakes, French toast, omelets, and tasty sides like bacon, sausage, grits, and biscuits with gravy.
Quaint, quick, and delicious. We arrived to a crowd already waiting to get in but we were sweetly greeted by a lady with an iPad. She took our name, number, allowing us to go to our car and wait. 20 minutes later we were seated. The staff is the nicest especially our waitress Alexis. We ordered the breakfast burrito which was huge and absolutely delicious. Also we ordered French toast. With sides of bacon, sausage, and a hashbrown casserole that stole the show. Make this a stop on your trip. I highly recommend.

Quite pricey but good, fast, quality food. I ate here twice this week and had a great experience both times. The sausage is good. Casserole is very cheesy. My only complaint is how much butter they put on the toast, it's a bit excessive. People are great here and super nice.

Our waiter, Sean, was awesome! My husband’s coffee never went empty, the food came quickly. There was a mix up with one of the pancake types ordered but it was quickly corrected with apologies. The portion sizes were large and the orange/blackberry/ricotta pancakes were top notch! Would recommend!

We were so impressed with our first dining experience at Joey's! From the friendly woman who checked us into the wait list, to the host who seated us, to our wonderful server, Starr✨, Every person was cordial yet professional. You could look around the restaurant and see everyone moving in their own roles and responsibilities to make the whole thing a very big success! I ordered the Belgian waffle with pecans. It was beautiful and delicious. My husband ordered the famous golden pancakes with bacon and eggs. Everything arrived promptly. Everything was hot. Everything was delicious. The prices were fair, in line with other breakfast restaurants in the area. The dining room is spacious, it was decorated with seasonal decorations, everything was clean and bright. We will be back!

The pumpkin pancake with a cream cheese glaze AND topped with cinnamon pecans was out of this world! Jamie/ our waitress talked us into the topping. She is such a wonderful representative to this wonderful business! Thank you curly girl from the curly sisters, and thanks to all the outstanding staff from the sweet lady that checks us in to those who clean up when we’re done!!!

Well we stopped here going to the casino that I haven't been to in a long long time. The last time we stayed here I got sick and the line was out the door. I found them on Google with the great reviews. We pulled into the parking lot not to bad found a spot. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted and they take your party size, name and number down. When it your turn she calls out your name and sends a text telling you your table is ready. You step through the double doors and go towards another host stand that greets you again and shows you to your seat. The table are all alike and they Miss. Starr come to greet us with her fresh pot of coffee. I asked a few questions about the menu she was very polite and actually was laughing and smiling with us. I ordered the special with the pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage patty. I upgraded the packages to the lemon blueberry ones. Boo got the same except just the blueberries. He wanted what I ordered but ordered wrong. The food was hot and she brought us a heated bottle of syrup to the table. I hardly used any cause my came with the sauce on the side. O my gosh these pancakes was perfect in every way. They were light and fluffy you could taste both the lemon and the blueberries coming through. Then they had fresh blueberries and a dollop of whip cream on them. I am not a breakfast kinda girl. Boo loves breakfast and likes when I cook it for supper. I wanted to find a place for him to enjoy cause he has been my # 1 lately. I would definitely go back to eat breakfast. The hostess told me her favorite was the biscuits and gravy. Boo loved his also and was a little jealous that mine was better. Ask for Starr she was a wonderful waitress and I hope to see her again when we're on the area.

We had a very short wait after being pleasantly greeted. This is the first time we had been in Maggie Valley and the Fall scenery around the restaurant was just gorgeous! Our server (Breana I think. I feel horrible now not remembering) was attentive and extremely friendly, probably one of the most outgoing and professional people I've met in food service in a while. She recommended the pumpkin pancakes and being the basic white B I am, of course that's what I had lol They were YUMMMMMYYYYY!!! My husband had the apple streudel pancakes and I tried those and it was just like eating apple pie! I'm not sure what wizardry is happening in that kitchen but you won't be disappointed!

I have celiac disease and finding restaurants that actually understand it and are attentive to what is gluten free and cross contamination are few. This one went above and beyond to meet my needs. The server , Megan, was knowledgeable and helpful and was an awesome server. The food was delicious! Highly recommend and we will be back!

Hannah our waitress was sooo nice!! Always checking on us. Never made us feel rushed even though it was quite busy. Crepes were best I've ever had. The cream cheesecake filling is soooo good!! The sausage is freshest best tasting!! Cinnamon sugar fritters to die for!! Crunchy but soft in center.

We had an awesome waitress who took care of us the entire time. The service was quick. The food was really good. My dad didn’t recommend the hashbrowns. Pancakes were good. You can ask to add things into them, such as blueberries.

My experience at Flapjack’s Pancake Cabin was cool, and Shone was extremely sweet and attentive throughout our visit. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, cabin-like atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Shone went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed—checking in on us just enough without being overbearing. The food came out fresh and hot, and the pancakes were exactly what you’d expect from a place known for them—fluffy, golden, and full of flavor. The syrup was warm and rich, and the sides were just as satisfying. The overall vibe was relaxed, and it felt like the perfect spot for a laid-back breakfast or brunch. All in all, the service from Shone really stood out and added a personal touch that made the experience even better. I’d definitely come back again.

A group of 8 of us came for breakfast on a Sunday morning- this location was busy but accommodating for our large group. The food was amazing!! I got The Flapjacker with an over easy egg. My husband got The Walkers Cabin Skillet. Highly recommended both of those! The portions are very good for the price you pay. It’s very filling and delicious. Our waitress was very kind and did such a great job handling our large group.

Pretty solid place to get breakfast. I got the banana and pecan pancakes with a side of sausage patties. Bananas were cooked inside and placed on top of the pancakes pretty good flavor and texture same for the sausage. My husband got the meatlovers omelet which was pretty standard had to add a little salt and pepper, came with a side of pancakes which were nice and fluffy. Service was good restaurant was clean, would recommend.

The Market Place in Asheville is a renowned restaurant offering farm-to-table American cuisine, craft cocktails, and an extensive wine selection in an upscale-casual atmosphere. Since its establishment in 1979 by Mark Rosenstein, the restaurant has been a pioneer of the farm-to-table movement, emphasizing the use of locally sourced seasonal ingredients within a hundred-mile radius. Chef William Dissen took over in 2009 and has continued the tradition of working with local purveyors.
We’re so glad that we celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary with The Market Place. We always want to try a farm to table restaurant. Not only was the staff very friendly, but the atmosphere created a very romantic mood. The food was simply amazing. We highly recommend experiencing this wonderful establishment, and make sure to leave room for dessert.

We’ve been waiting to dine at The Marketplace for a special occasion. We finally stopped by for dinner for our anniversary and now I’m wishing we had gone sooner. We had such a lovely experience. Glenna really made the night extra special. Well to be honest all the crew we encountered were wonderful. The food was fabulous. We got a variety of different sized plates and enjoyed eating and drinking and celebrating. We couldn’t resist the fries, the peaches were lovely for summer. The trout was delectable. It was all so delicious. Save room for dessert. Now that we’ve been I would love to stop by more often and enjoy a light bite at the bar or on the patio.

We came here on a long journey from the Midwest to celebrate 40 years together. This is the place YOU want to be. Restaurant filled up quickly for a Thursday night & we had a reservation. Shout out to Glenna, our server. She had so many guests to take care of, never skipped a beat, explained each dish with precision and truly shines. She is a true gem as a server. Each dish, crafted with care & deliciousness. Charcuterie board that we asked to be combined with cheeses, the chicken with swiss chard and heirloom tomato, mushroom ravioli that we requested the Pinot noir on the menu, perfect taste. This is a restaurant that celebrates the Chef's selection of local farm to table and why he is recognized as a Great Chef. Our hats are off to you, your staff and all the deliciousness that encompasses your restaurant. With respect.

Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night. Not super hungry so had several of the small plates. Ham wrapped peaches with ricotta was tasty but peaches were not quite ripe enough which threw off the dish. Rice cake with brisket was yummy. Tomato tarte pie crust was burnt but otherwise ok. Service was friendly. Not sure I would go back but it was just fine.

Asheville’s food scene never disappoints and this was no exception. We sat outside which is so cozy because it’s on a very quiet cobblestone street, so the experience is actually pleasant (an anomaly in the US). I got the steak which let me make it clear, I never order steak at restaurants. Usually, it sucks. Not this steak. I didn’t even talk to my wife while eating it, I was so enthralled with the flavor. Every ingredient they use combines so well it seems effortless, but it works so well. My wife got the river trout and she loved it as well. It was the entire fish, not just a filet, so she enjoyed the experience of eating it even more. We ended off with a dessert and it was excellent! I can’t even describe with words how good it was, you’ll just have to try one and trust my word.

One of the very best meals of my life. Every bite was filled with so much flavor! A few of our absolute favorites: fermented kohlrabi, cowboy candy,London Fog cashews, wood grilled steak, the Raspberry Beret non-alcoholic cocktail, and Thai tea sorbet. My husband cannot have gluten and the staff was very understanding and accommodating. We had a great experience here and would love to come back next time we are in town!

A wonderful dining experience ! We started with specialty handcrafted cocktails made by Jordan at the bar. Dakota our server was fantastic about recommending wine and small plates, as well as large plates that met our dietary needs, and provided us with excellent service throughout the evening. Chef Ana did a fantastic job creating an additional first plate for our table from foods we foraged earlier that morning during the Taste of Home foraging Tour. It was an incredible celebration evening for us and we are so grateful to the serving and kitchen staff for making our evening so special.

Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro is a charming retreat located in the serene town of Townsend, nestled on the outskirts of the Smoky Mountains. The property spans 38 acres and offers a variety of cozy accommodations including cottages, log cabins, and villas surrounded by picturesque woodland. Guests can explore walking trails leading to amenities such as a beer garden and general store, as well as the renowned Appalachian Bistro.
Have been waiting to get up to Dancing Bear for awhile now and the food did not disappoint - easily some of the best food I've had anywhere in East TN. Our group ordered sixteen different dishes between the various courses - and we each tried all of them - and there was only one dish the group agreed we would not order again. That's pretty incredible. We spent approximately $250 per couple as we just split everything equally. Didn't get photos of every dish but look how good this food looks!

We used Dancing Bear for the dinner after our wedding at Foothills Parkway and we could not have been happier! The atmosphere was perfect, the food was the amazing and we even had picky eaters with us and they loved every bite. Alese was so helpful and friendly with helping us plan everything from the use of the covered patio, to the menu, to making sure the cake looked amazing ( I just dropped off a bunch of flowers and they made it look beautiful). I would highly recommend Dancing Bear for an event or celebration or even just a dinner for two! We will definitely be back here when we come to Tennessee!
Michelle V — Google review
We dined at Dancing Bear for a special anniversary dinner, and we were blown away by the service and meal. We very much enjoyed sitting outside as it was just starting to get cool out, there was a fire going in a fire pit and string lights everywhere, so it was definitely a romantic setting for our dinner. Our waiters were fantastic, and I appreciated how accommodating they were to my food allergy. I often feel like a burden to the restaurant and the people I dine with when I eat out, but I never felt even close to this way. The waiters had recommendations, double checked with the chef, and even told me once that the chef decided to remake something because he wasn't sure if there was contamination. I was completely blown away by their service, and even if the food had been not good, I would probably still come back just for the service alone. But that is not even a question, because the food was phenomenal. From the appetizers to our entree, I could tell there was a lot of thought behind each of our plates, carefully and uniquely crafted, and tasted amazing. Please do yourself a favor and order these pork belly burnt ends if they still have them - they were the most tender, fall apart meat I have ever had. This was a little bit more on the pricey side of dining for us, but I plan on this being our celebration restaurant from now on. Highly highly recommend.

I dare say this is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in the U.S.! After traveling to over 30 countries, I often say there’s nowhere like Brazil when it comes to great dining — amazing service, restaurants, and food quality — but this place is right up there! Everything tasted incredibly fresh and local, and you could tell how much care went into both the preparation and presentation. I ordered the chicken and my husband had the trout — both were flawless in texture, flavor, doneness, temperature, and presentation. For dessert, the cheesecake was phenomenal — it literally melted in your mouth and was perfectly balanced in sweetness. Del, our server, was wonderful — attentive, friendly, and kind. We’d definitely come back to try more dishes!

Easily one of the best restaurants ive been to in my life. A must go for special occasions. Theres usually 3 things i look for in food when I am eating 1. uniqueness/innovation 2.Flavor profile 3. texture/temperature (or how well it was cooked) All these dishes really knocked it out the park on my scale. Rotating menu, farm to table style restaurant with extremely unique, flavorful, perfectly cooked dishes. Dancing bear truly lives up to its name bc your taste buds will be dancing with joy with every bite. Its tough to have fav dishes bc everything was so good but if i were to recommend a couple id say fav dishes: Braised Rabbit Pasta, Poched Pear Salad, Sweat Tea Brined Pork chop, Joyce Farms Heritage Chicken, for dessert BREAD PUDDING ^^ MUST GET ‼️‼️ with one of my highest rating I am giving this place a, I think this is as good as farm to table high end dining gets 4.95/5

The food here was excellent. We did not have a reservation, but got one of the few seats at the bar and had our meal there. (I would recommend reservations if possible.) The bartender was very friendly, and our evening didn’t lack for anything. We had the scallops small plate and chicken dinner and both were excellent, as well as our appetizer and dessert. Great fine-dining restaurant in Townsend!

The ambience as you arrive is pure Tennessee hospitality! Warm and beautiful! Our amazing server MICHELLE was helpful, knowledgeable and super efficient. Our other experience with KELLY HARRIS’ at the venue was unmatched by any culinary and guest services that one could imagine. We are grateful for the entire evening. Oh- the food! Off the charts pork chop - super scallops & squash as well as the 3 dips! The craft cocktails were perfect and the wine selections as well. We were honored to be there and can’t wait to return! A very SPECIAL place indeed.

We spent our anniversary at this gorgeous mountain-style restaurant, and it was such a beautiful spot. The architecture had a cozy, homey charm with a luxury twist—almost like a high-end New York City restaurant dropped into a mountain setting. The prices were definitely on the high side (my entrée alone was $42), and honestly, I don’t think it was quite worth that much for what I got. We also had to wait about an hour for our main courses, but since we ordered a few appetizers, we enjoyed our time chatting and soaking in the atmosphere. The service was friendly and thoughtful—they even surprised us with a “Happy Anniversary” card and some chocolates, which was such a sweet touch. Outside, there was a cute fire pit area perfect for making s’mores, though unfortunately, it was raining that night, so we couldn’t take advantage of it. Overall, we’d definitely go back for the experience, the atmosphere, and maybe to try some different dishes. It’s the kind of place you visit for a special occasion when you want that mountain-luxury vibe.

Lulu's On Main is a celebrated restaurant in Sylva, offering a diverse menu that includes steaks, seafood, vegetarian and vegan options. The edgy and retro atmosphere is complemented by local art adorning the walls. Executive Chef Devin McCardle brings his French culinary expertise to the table, with a menu featuring certified hormone-free, humanely-raised proteins and fresh North Carolina seafood. Beer enthusiasts can enjoy expertly paired beer dinners with local Innovation Brewing beers.
While visiting my family in the area, they made dinner reservations at Lulu's. Because I trust their good taste, I knew it would be good. This restaurant exceeded expectations by long mile, in quality, flavors and amazing service. A varied menu with options for all tastes and the attention of a first date. One great dinner experience.

Step into a wonderful, uniquely refreshing vibe with some delicious food. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and overall a wonderful complement to the air of the restaurant. We shared the Mozzarella as a starter, for me, was akin to sitting on a patio in Italy for flavor, texture, and presentation. We then had the chicken marsala, and a pasta salad, both in their own rights, amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly, and again, they knocked the presentation out of the park. Not to mention, we did all this 30 mins prior to their closing! We were late after a chaotic day, but they welcomed us with open arms, and helped ensure the meal, service, and overall experience was absolutely fantastic. TLDR 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Great food at a good price. Lamb gyro had good flavor with fresh veggies. Italian sub was excellent. The chips are very crunchy, like kettle chips; you can substitute for other sides if that's not your thing. Service was great, attentive but not annoying. Bathrooms and dining area were very clean. Don't miss Lulu's if you're going through Sylva.

A Beautiful restaurant- quaint and cozy, clean and well spaced seating. I was greeted as soon as I came in the door with a welcoming smile. Noticing what people have in front of them while I was walking to my table, everything looked so well prepared. Lovely presentations - delicious looking food. I couldn't wait to make my pic. Impeccable Service- The server was very pleasant- well spoken and polite. She knew the specials and the desserts from memory. She didn't forget anything, she checked on me and got my desert and check quickly. So glad I went. Five stars! Highly recommend it! One of their specials was shrimp and scallops on linguine in a delicious sauce. 😂 I can't tell you what it was but it was freaking awesome!

I had a hard time going between two places to eat tonight. For some reason my mind kept saying Lulu's so this is where I ended up. Because of all of the comments about the goat cheese mushrooms, I decided to try that even though I was by myself and I have to say it was pretty good. The goat cheese mixed with the garlic butter was super yummy. For my entree did the seafood fra Diavolo that was on special. This particular dish can go all sorts of ways, but I was quite impressed with Lulu's take on it. The tomatoes were done very nicely and the added lumps of mozzarella while at first I wasn't excited about turned out to be one of the better parts of the dish. The shrimp and the scallops were cooked very nicely, not rubbery and had good flavors. I was very disappointed that there were no reviews or pictures of the croissant beignet. I tried to get it but they were out of the salted caramel ice cream so I decided to hold off on that one for my next visit so I could get the full experience. Will was a friendly server and prompt considering I was one of the first people on the patio for the evening. The food came out pretty quick. Overall, I was very impressed and will definitely be back to Lulu's.

This delightful eatery specializes in mouthwatering fried chicken served alongside an array of comforting sides that will make your taste buds dance with joy. Visiting from Georgia, we were delighted to find this yummy gem! We both got the fried chicken with two sides and a biscuit- mashed potatoes, Mac and cheesex2, and apples. Everything was delicious, we ate every last crumb! The biscuits were so buttery and flaky. Will definitely be going back for another visit before heading home.

Portions were huge! Loved the Mac n cheese - wow! Biscuit was buttery and came with jam. Chicken and dumplings were great - doughy and tasted like biscuit gravy. I ordered the chicken tenders but they were dry. :/ Otherwise, this would’ve been a 5/5!!

I would have loved to have rated this place higher, but after ordering, my friend got his plate and wings relatively quick. My order didn't come. We waited more than 15 minutes before I was told someone made a 50 wing call in order, and they ran out of chicken. Not only me, but other customers were waiting longer. Ultimately, I just asked for my order for take out. I would think dine in customers, who have already paid, would get preference. However, the chicken was very good! The wings were well coated in the hot honey sauce. Overall, underwhelming service, but awesome food. They're worth a second chance, next time I'm in Gatliburg. Update! Went the following weekend, and it was much, much better! Chicken was still crispy. I recommend the mac and cheese and potatoes and gravy. For sure a good place for some good, comfort food.

I’m vegetarian and had the vegetarian cavatelli—it was incredibly delicious! My boyfriend had the salmon and really enjoyed it too. The atmosphere is very cool and inviting. Heath, our server, was excellent—attentive, friendly, and made our experience even better. A quick tip: if you’re coming from the parking lot, head straight to reach the main entrance—don’t turn left by the fire pit, as that leads to the back door. We had a reservation, which was a great idea since the place was pretty crowded. Highly recommend making one in advance!

The Greenbrier Restaurant delivered an unforgettable dining experience, but the true star of the night was Lonnie. From the moment we sat down, Lonnie went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His energy, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel like VIPs the entire evening. He didn’t just provide service—he created an atmosphere that elevated our dinner into something special. Lonnie anticipated every need before we even asked, made excellent recommendations, and brought a warmth to the table that can’t be taught. The food was absolutely delicious, but it was Lonnie’s outstanding hospitality that made the evening truly memorable. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to making guests feel welcome, and dinner simply would not have been the same without him. A huge shout-out to Lonnie—thank you for providing an excellent experience and setting the bar for what exceptional service should look like.

Top notch place to go definitely worth the price. I went with my girlfriend while vacationing. We had been to Gatlinburg before but it was a holiday and they were booked up. We got a reservation this time it did not disappoint. Hannah was our server she was great and very knowledgeable. I got the Dylan double barrel a signature drink at the time amazing for bourbon lovers. We had the duck and dumplings for an appetizer. Best duck or dumplings either of us ever had. You then were served a salad of your choice and then sorbet as a pallet cleanser before the main. We also got the rack of lamb and the Beef Wellington. Beef Wellington was hands down one of the best entrees I’ve ever eaten and was cooked to perfection. The lamb was also cooked perfectly and was good but we would have gotten the red snapper however they sold out. For desert was going to get the crème brûlée but another table got the last one before us. We were still very pleased with our delicious food and would definitely return. People around us got steaks which were all cooked perfectly, octopus, foie gras, and baked goat cheese app which all looked amazing.

This was by far the best experience I’ve had in a long time! The fire pit was great to sit and have a drink at while waiting for our table. The food was perfectly executed. We started the Duck and Dumplings and the Pork Belly. The pork belly was cooked to perfection and the strawberries were marinated well. The nuts took the dish to another level. The duck and dumplings was a great earthy flavor and the consommé was clarified perfectly and full of flavor. The house salad vinaigrette was full of flavor and everything you could want from a salad. The short rib lasagna soup did not offer much in the way of texture, but was full of flavor. The lemon sorbet was the perfect combination of sweet and sour. An amazing pallet cleanser. My husband got the ribeye and twice baked potato. The steak was seasoned and cooked well. The twice baked potato was creamy and cheesy. I got the beef Wellington, let me tell you that it exceeded every expectation. Also, the demi glaze was something I will dream about. They surprised us with roses and dessert for our 5th anniversary. The chocolate pots de creme was rich and dark exactly what you look for in that dessert (this was my favorite thing to make back when I was a chef so that’s saying something.) The cherry bread pudding was everything my husband looks for in a dessert. The cherry ice cream on top was executed flawlessly. All of my cocktails were on point and worked well with the menu. Our server was sweet and attentive. I appreciated the way that she seemed to take care of us like we were her only table. There are not enough good things to say about The Greenbrier!

We got the crème brûlée for dessert and it was also outstanding! Beautiful restaurant with amazing ambiance! If you’re ever in Gatlinburg area, we highly recommend! Also, ask for Lonnie he was very attentive and informative! The whole experience was 11/10!!

We’re vacationing in Gatlingburg for our 7th anniversary and chose The Greenbriar for our special dinner. It did not disappoint! The restaurant was lovely, our waiter (older gentlemen that was always sweetly humming) was very attentive and nice. The food was clearly the star!! I had the seafood risotto and he had the filet of beef. Superb experience!!
Carrie B — Google review
I heard about Greenbrier from a couple social media influencers I follow and decided to check it out prior to our trip. It was very hard to get reservations, but I checked again the day of our trip and there happened to be an opening so I took it! We were promptly greeted, sat and cheerfully served by Zach! He is very full of knowledge about all the menu items, which was helpful. All dishes were cooked to perfection and we left very satisfied. If you have a chance to make reservations, do it! Perfect for an occasion celebration or just for a special dinner.

I can't speak highly enough about this restaurant! My wife and I eloped Oct. 31, 2025. We had a late evening reservation but we were done with our ceremony and starving, so we thought it wouldn't hurt to try getting an earlier table. The restaurant was extremely accommodating, and welcomed us right in. As a former server and bartender, I can confidently say our server, Lloyd, was one of the best in the business. From his menu knowledge to his timing, everything was absolutely perfect. The food was to die for. The wagyu steak was the best I've ever had, the red snapper was incredible, the duck and dumplings appetizer left us wishing we ordered another. At the end of the day, the food was out of this world, and the service made our wedding day feel truly perfect. We can't wait to come back and will be making this our anniversary go-to for many years to come. Thank you, Greenbrier!!

Graze Burgers, located on Bruce Street in downtown Sevierville, is a casual eatery known for its grass-fed beef burgers and a variety of other delectable options. In addition to their popular burgers, the menu features hot dogs, soups, salads, and indulgent milkshakes. The restaurant offers an array of starters such as charred wings with bourbon barbecue and crispy-fried local green tomatoes with house-made pimento cheese and bacon jam.
Found this place on a whim after a car show. VERY glad we did. Food is excellent. My wife and zip split a Trailer Park hot dog and a Tennessee burger and 50/50 onion rings and fries. All excellent. Fries are like fair fries. Onion rings have a funnel cake like breading. Fried green tomatoes were excellent! Highly recommend!
Nick E — Google review
Excellent Burgers! Almost too big to take a bite. We got the Local Farmer's and the Mighty Bison and both had a ton of flavor. The onion rings were very crispy and I recommend those over the fries. We will 💯 be back.
Adam L — Google review
I bet the GM Bruce’s nickname is Bruce Almighty because what he was doing tonight when we came in was other-worldly. He was working the bar and several bar tables, helping in the kitchen. It was impressive to watch. The food was also spectacular, no smushed to oblivion burger here, not the biggest burger out there but very tasty. Fresh cut fries, fresh battered rings. As I eat possibly the best onion ring I’ve ever had. No complaints and I love complaining. Will definitely be back and tell Bruce Almighty the extra rings guy said hey. Everything was fresh and they even do their own bacon!!

What a terrific hole in the wall burger place!!!! I am so happy I asked a local where to get the best burger in town as I was traveling from NC to TX. The atmosphere is old industrial with original brick walls and beautiful hardwood floors and the menu is well thought out. I had the “Classic” burger and beer batter onion rings. Everything was high quality from the atmosphere, the food, the service, even the napkins were thick and good quality. I spoke with the general manager and they have an Italian restaurant as well. Too bad I am not in town for a day. If you are traveling down I40, this place is worth the 20 minute detour for a quality burger!!! Thanks guys.
Greg H — Google review
Awesome burgers and seriously good quality! Love that they offer gluten free options. We grabbed ours to go, and it was still piping hot and super fresh. Can’t wait to come back and dine in next time!
Kate F — Google review
I like to eat places that are not on the Parkway when visiting the area. The fried green tomatoes where good, but not the best that I have had. Fries were good, but I like more seasoning on them. The Bourbon Bleu burger was fantastic. It by itself was enough to make me come back next time I am in town and the reason for 5 stars. Parking was across the street and location was nice in old downtown.
Ranger R — Google review
My burger and fries were cold. I ordered the bison burger medium well and it was luke warm at best. The fries were a bit dry and seemed like they've been sitting for a while. The pork was good just a bit too sweet for me.
El ( — Google review
Update: Was back in town and went to Graze again. Everything is still delicious! The patio is dog friendly and they were nice enough to wait on our group even though it was a little hot. The burgers here are really great - very juicy, delicious toppings and a bun that doesn't fall apart but not dry either. We had the Chili Chili Bang Bang and the Bourbon burger and would order both again. But the real star here is those onion rings!!! BEST ONION RINGS I'VE EVER HAD!!! We were too full to try a milkshake but will next time!

When in Gatlinburg, make sure to visit J.O.E. and Pop's Sub Shoppe for a delightful dining experience. This counter-service eatery offers a variety of subs, cheesesteaks, hot dogs, and wings for dine-in or take-out. The shop takes pride in using simple, all-natural ingredients to create their delicious sandwiches and sides.
Friendly staff and great food. I always recommend this place when people ask me for a great restaurant in the area.
Tom B — Google review
We came to this sub shop specifically because we heard that it offer great gluten-free options and we were not disappointed! The staff told us that the owner’s kids are celiac and several staff have gf family members, so they are very attentive to gf needs. The gf wrap was excellent. The portions are generous and fresh. Totally recommend this place if you are looking for gluten-free options!
Sara P — Google review
The food here is consistently well prepared and very good. The restaurant combines J.O.E. and Pop's Sub Shoppe (various subs and sandwiches—the Reuben is phenomenal!) with Mama's Chicken Kitchen (the chicken & dumplings and mashed potatoes—taste like homemade!) so with a wide variety, it's easy to find something to please everyone. The service is friendly and efficient, although during high traffic times can be a bit lacking and slow due to understaffing during those times. Our last visit, during the second week of October about an hour or so after lunchtime, was extremely busy and we waited 45 minutes for a to-go order for two. It was the first time we were ever missing an item from our order, but due to the overwhelming number of guests to staff ratio, I excused it for this rating and review because I've never seen it so busy and have never had it happen before. Though the wait was long and we were missing an item, our meal was still very fresh and delicious.
Wendy N — Google review
Very popular local place. We had the fried chicken (a little greasy for me, but clearly fine for most people) and chicken tenders. Their cole slaw was delicious and they let us taste it before we ordered it. They also offered sub sandwiches, but we didn't try those.
Cindy P — Google review
Got 2 chicken cheesesteaks for me and my son last weekend. No sides come with the meal, and the sandwiches were about the size of a hot dog. Not only that, but the sandwich only has chicken and onions in them. Person that took my order was also not very friendly. Up in this area a lot. Better options locally, will pass on this place in the future
Braveheart F — Google review
After a long day of driving we pulled into this place for dinner. It was a cute little place. Husband had Reuben, wife had chef salad, older son had burger, daughter had fried chicken salad, young son had turkey sub with dumplings. Food was great, workers were friendly, and place was nice. Loved the pictures on the wall.
Shannon M — Google review
This could be my new go-to place when I am in Gatlinburg. While prices were a little outside my comfort zone for lunch, the portion size and quality made up for it. Bread was INCREDIBLY fresh. I ordered the Italian sub and I was not disappointed. Employees were nice and the place was spotless. Can't wait to go back and try a few other sandwiches. Highly recommended.
Bluejackets F — Google review
Food was good but prices are pretty high. Two in our party and we ended up paying $43 for two six inch sandwiches with 2 sides and 2 bottles of water. I guess you pay more due to location. I mean food was good and service was good but the wait was long and the price was just more than I expected.

Nestled within the vibrant Dollywood theme park, Miss Lillian's Mill House Restaurant offers a delightful escape into the heart of Southern cuisine. This charming buffet spot is adorned with traditional country decor that sets a warm and inviting atmosphere for families and friends alike. Guests can indulge in an array of classic Southern dishes served in a generous all-you-care-to-eat style, making it perfect for those looking to savor hearty meals together.
We have ate here 3 times and ordered something different each time and everything has been amazing! The fried chicken is some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had and the bbq platter is also very good! The baked beans side is my favorite side out of the options they give you. The cornbread is so good that it comes with along with the pickles and chow chow. The loaded bbq baked potato is out of the world good. I can’t wait to go back to Dollywood just to eat here! Yes it’s that good!!!
Kayla C — Google review
I stopped by here around 6:30 on a Sunday evening (New Years Day) while at Dollywood. The smell of bbq from outside really drew me in. My brother and I got the pulled pork sandwiches and baked beans. That with two drinks was $38.50!! The drink itself was over $3 and the cup was so Small! You also didn’t get much beans either. Its set up like a assembly line. You tell the first person your order and another person makes it. Then you pay at the end and this is where you can get a drink as well. They have fountain drinks available and nothing else extra like tea or lemonade. Thankfully, they had a covered area for seating because while the day was nice, it got COLD!! I MUST say that BOTH the sandwich and the beans were DELICIOUS! If it wasn’t so expensive, i would’ve gotten another plate. I feel that they need to have the option to get either the sandwich only or the beans only. I would highly recommend the food here! While the prices are high, it’s typically for a theme park. We were planning on getting a dessert but we were told they didn’t have anymore.
Zay M — Google review
surprisingly above average theme park restaurant, not fantastic with the pricing but that’s a given with these types of places, not a bad choice for any hungry Dollywood visitor overall: 👍💵😮
Will S — Google review
Friendly service, good southern dishes, and a welcome spot for a break at the theme park. It makes for a satisfying meal, if you're looking for a larger portion while at the park.
Don B — Google review
We visited Dollywood with the Beta kids, their reward for working so hard throughout the year. They were given a voucher to use to eat. The price is ridiculous as it is here but, they took their voucher, didn't scan it to give them the $8 credit to use. The total was expensive and so they checked their receipt and realized they were overcharged. I, as the adult went to talk to management, the lady did return the voucher amount. I just wonder how many students have been duped and never thought to question their receipt. Customer service was terrible. The ladies taking the orders unfriendly.
Taeko O — Google review
One of THE ABSOLUTE WORST meals I've ever had. There was nothing "smoked" about the pulled pork... it was a pile of baked or boiled mushy mess, NO smoky flavor at all, nothing tasty about it. The baked beans tasted like they had CINNAMON in them!! CINNAMON!! IN BAKED BEANS!! After those 2 huge fails I was scared to even try the cole slaw. And to add insult to injury, I paid $16 for that plate. We spent $123 total for 6 of us to get meat that wasn't good, baked bean sides that were inedible, and 5 drinks. RIDICULOUS.
Kara R — Google review
This place is located inside the dollywood park. We had a lunch buffet. The food was delicious. Enjoyed the food. However, the server guy standing at the buffet was weird. He kept on staring at the guests eating. Had absolutely no expressions on his face. Having said that, we will definately eat at this place next time we visit the dollywood park. The ambience is great and the place was clean. Nice place to sit down and rest for a while and enjoy the food and get relief from the hot or cold weather outside.
A S — Google review
I got the pork BBQ slider at the take out window and since I do not eat beans and coleslaw they gave me extra pork on the side. 😋 Delicious! While I sat outside, Miss Lillian came by and at the same time the Country Show next door started. What a great send off right before I left Dollywood to head home to PA.

Native Brews Tap & Grill is a great place to go for a drink or meal. Their cocktails are top notch, their beer is delicious, and they always have a great selection of beers on tap. The riblets here are some of the best in town, and their peanut crusted trout was absolutely amazing! The service here is always top notch, and the staff is always willing to have a good conversation with you.
Great burger. I thought about trying the pimento cheese instead of pepper jack cheese but history tells me it makes the burger mushy so I'll try it next time. The burger bun is sturdy and I'd prefer a lighter one given the choice since I often end up scrapping the bun and making a lettuce wrap. My wife had salmon on top of her salad which I hear was fantastic and the salmon was cooked exactly to order (medium rare).
David H — Google review
Friendly staff. Looks clean from what I could see. We were seated quickly, not too busy at 8:00 pm. The food is mediocre. The trout tasted frozen but they say it is local caught. Brussels were excellent. Mashed potatoes were runny. When we added salt to our meal it helped a little. Definitely not worth $30 we spent. The deviled eggs in the “Say What?” were rubbery. The bacon jam was pretty good but it didn’t help the eggs. Portions are large. Restroom was out of toilet paper.

Love this place. If I’m near Cherokee, this is where me and my Team eat. I love the food, the atmosphere and the service. The pork skins are amazing with the fresh pimento cream cheese dip. I have eaten almost everything on the menu and have never had anything bad. If you are in the area it’s worth stopping in and seeing for yourself. I can’t wait to open our office in Cherokee, NC. It is in walking distance, like three minutes. They also have one in Bryson City, NC. Take a drive and see what you’re missing. Great job Native Brew and Tap. Love this place.

Love the hard Cream Soda here! Absolutely delicious and I could easily drink several 😂 Food and service has been great during both of my visits here. I've tried the porter here and it was fine but the hard Cream Soda is truly a national treasure and is worth the stop here in and of itself. Plenty of indoor and patio seating in addition to the bar. This is a must when in Cherokee and is conveniently located right where we come into town 😂 See y'all next time!
Derek P — Google review
The food and atmosphere is absolutely fantastic!!! We started off with the deviled eggs with bacon jam - a must try!! I ordered the bourbonzola burger and my partner ordered the peanut crusted trout which came with fried Brussels sprouts and garlic herb mashed potatoes. Absolutely divine!! For drink to pair, we ordered the sunrise vanilla cream (a cream ale that tastes just like a cream soda), a key lime martini, and the Angry Beaver Porter. Melissa was our server and she was friendly, attentive and a good vibe!! Next time we are in Cherokee Native Brews Tap & Grill is on our must-go to!

Family friendly! We visited on a Sunday end of Septembee dinner and had no wait. Nice chill outdoor seating area. Hostess and server both great. Family food ratings: Blooming onion appetizer was very good, kids chicken tenders good, Mac and cheese okay, fries good, the club sandwich was stellar, riblets awesome. We will be back, thank you!

We stopped here for lunch after our beautiful drive through Smokey Mountain National Park. The atmosphere was fun and bartenders were friendly and helpful with the menu. The food was delicious and they had a good variety of beer/seltzers. The pork rinds with pimento cheese are a must try!!

Genuinely one of the best burgers I’ve had anywhere in WNC. Service was warm, we got recommendations for drinks and food, and the patio setting was a great spot to eat. The flavors of the burger melded together so well, positively delicious. Well worth a stop!

Restaurant
Ember & Elm at Dollywood’s HeartSong Resort is a signature restaurant offering a blend of exceptional flavors and locally-sourced ingredients prepared by world-class chefs. The dining experience is characterized by semi-casual ambiance and attentive service, with the hostess taking note of food allergies to ensure a safe and enjoyable meal.
Ember & Elm is exquisite dining in a family atmosphere. Several in my family have food allergies/restrictions, and Chef Michael and Chef Alex always go out of their way to make sure we have something delicious and healthy to enjoy. I've had many amazing meals here, from ginger crusted tofu on coconut rice to risotto to vegan/gluten-free pasta Alfredo. Dinner at Ember & Elm is always a delight, one of our favorite things about a trip to Dollywood. All of the staff are just lovely and welcoming. Nowhere else have I ever had a chef create something special and then come check on us to see if we like it. This is one of the few restaurants where we can go and enjoy a full dining experience. Don't hesitate to go! You will love it! Many thanks to Michael, Alex, and the other staff!
Tracy B — Google review
My husband and I got to try this restaurant for the first time back in February. We tried breakfast here and at the restaurant at the other dollywood resort.song and hearth. We both chose the breakfast buffet that included our drink. After visiting song and hearth during Dollywood being open and seeing the buffet they offer during the regular season we prefer the one at Ember and Elm. Everything we had was hot, fresh and delicious. Our server was friendly and answered any questions we had. The veggie breakfast flatbread was delicious. The blueberry muffin is the best I have ever had from a restaurant. This is a place we will come to for a great breakfast if we are in the Smokies again. We also tried the restaurant for dinner in November 2024 on opening weekend of the Dollywood Christmas festival with our son. We were brought complimentary biscuits with house made red pepper jelly which were delicious. We ordered the deviled eggs appetizer after hearing great things about it. The deviled eggs were all great. My husband loved the fried pimento cheese ones and the hot honey shrimp ones were my favorite. The chicken Caesar ones were good but a bit salty. He loved the kids chicken tenders meal. My husband enjoyed a shrimp and scallops dish and said it was very flavorful. I had the east Tennessean flatbread pizza for dinner. It was huge but absolutely delicious. It was the prefect combination of sweet and salty. We really love this restaurant.

Enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Heartsong Resort! The buffet features an omelette station which I always love. The biscuits for biscuits and gravy I believe were homemade they were so light and fluffy both days I was lucky enough to get fresh biscuits just put down and they were DELICIOUS!! The muffins were of a variety and I loved the banana nut ones. The fruit was fresh and sweet. Overall a very good breakfast buffet but the omelette and biscuits and gravy were the highlights for me but that’s just my personal favorites! Sorry I didn’t get pictures of the entire buffet but it was very busy both days. Even busy servers were very nice and attentive!

The food here was absolutely amazing! Every bite of every dish was stunning. Great experience! Poppy was our server and she was so genuinely kind. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience overall. This is a hack for anyone wanting to grab a quality meal after a day at the park before heading home (you don’t have to be a resort guest to eat here). We had the short ribs and the fried chicken, and both were stellar. The biscuits were also amazing too. Service was quick and personable too. Highly recommend. Remember to bring your season pass for a discount too if you have one!
Devin G — Google review
We had dinner at Ember & Elm after a day in the park and really enjoyed the food! The Nashville Hot Flatbread, cheddar biscuits, chicken and dumpling soup, and fried green tomato caprese were all excellent. We also initially appreciated that they provide an allergen card for the table - such a great touch to help communicate dietary needs. However, when the cheddar biscuits were brought to the table, our server wasn’t sure whether they contained the allergen we needed to avoid and had to check, which took nearly 15 minutes and made us a little uneasy. The server also seemed very awkward and stretched thin, and service was much slower than expected for things like drink refills and salad dressing. Overall, though, the food was fantastic, and we’d definitely come back - hopefully next time the service and allergen awareness will be a bit smoother.
Jordan — Google review
I had two meals at Ember and Elm and they were both delicious. The oatmeal was yummy and was a great choice for a light meal. The continental brekkie was also delicious and was packed with all kinds of great options. The menu also includes tons of other options, there just wasn’t enough time to make taste them all. My cousin order the avocado toast and it was delicious and came with two huge pieces of toast loaded with avocado and delicious toppings. My favorite thing about Ember and Elm were the employees. During our first meal we had Noel as our sever and he was very friendly and welcoming. During our second meal we had Amanda as our server and her and the hostess Syd were hysterical. They drew us a picture of a cow we when asked for a cows worth of creamer. Next time I stay at a Dollywood resort I will definitely be visiting for the friendly service and to try other menu items.
Stefanie A — Google review
I have to agree with another review, the food has a little spin for each. The biscuits have a wonderful crisp but not hard outside, with a delightful addition flavor, I can't put my finger on. The skillet was the star of the show; the brisket was flavorful but the eggs cheese and potatoes were where it was at. I don't eat potatoes all that often for breakfast but the combinations of flavors had me spooning it up. Well worth it alone and I have to thank Amanda for the recommendation. Amanda was wonderful and made my morning with coffee on tap.
