Five Stars Isn’t Enough. On a spontaneous trip to Key West, we decided to overnight in Marathon — and what a lucky move that turned out to be. Our original breakfast spot wasn’t open early enough, so we took a chance on The Wooden Spoon. One word: WOW. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuine — the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. But the real star? The food. We tried the homemade banana bread French toast — and I’m still dreaming about it. Perfectly caramelized on the outside, fluffy inside, and packed with real flavor, not just sugar. Every bite was a throwback to comfort food done right. You can tell everything is made with care. This is the kind of place that feels like home, but better. A true five-star gem in the Florida Keys — don’t miss it.

This is one of the most unique brunch places I have ever been too. It's a first come first serve restaurant but they are fair when it comes to who was there first. Maybe 15 tables inside with like 12-15 bar seats. All the food is cooked to order, it took maybe 20 minutes to get our food from sitting down to our food arriving . He pancakes were soooo good, sweet but not overly sweet, I got the egg white omelette and it was delicious, filling and cooked just right with all the meats tucked inside The biscuits are huge and flakey the sausage gravy had the perfect pepper flavor. My daughter loved her waffle. Perfect cook on the bacon,and scrambled eggs. I would eat here over and over again!!!! You get a lot of food for the perfect price too!

I arrived right when they open because I was staying directly across the street. Service was extremely fast because of that and the food was a solid breakfast. Two eggs over medium, grits, sausages and white toast. And don't forget the coffee. Can't go wrong with that breakfast or visiting this diner. Update...ate the country fried steak a couple of days later. Good choice. Lots of gravy and a great flavor.

We enjoyed our breakfast here, friendly staff , prompt service and great food. Pancakes were especially good. Would eat here again.

Had a Mexican omelette and a half order of Gravy biscuits….really good food and great service!! Jenna was awesome! This place has been there since the 1940s. Will be back!!

Yummy!!! While visiting the Florida Keys, we stopped by this local restaurant to eat breakfast and found the parking lot was almost full. Now I know why the food was awesome and the friendly service was second to none. As you can see by my photos, the food was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. Next time I’m in the Florida Keys I will definitely be back!!! Highly recommend the chocolate chip pancakes. They were delicious..

This restaurant is a true hidden gem—you’d never know it was there, but once you find it, the food alone makes it worth the visit. Everything we tried was delicious, and I’d absolutely come back for the flavors alone. The views of the water are stunning, and the breeze on the deck is unbeatable. That said, the place is in need of some serious TLC. The windows overlooking that beautiful view were dirty, and the building itself could use a deep cleaning and a fresh coat of paint. It’s not fancy, which is fine, but when a place looks unclean, it makes you wonder about the kitchen. I wouldn’t recommend it for a date night or a business lunch—the atmosphere just isn’t there. But if you’re looking for a casual bite with great food and don’t mind a bit of grime, this spot delivers. Hopefully, the owners will invest in some upkeep, because the potential here is huge.

We really enjoyed our breakfast here. The service is outstanding. The view is on the water, and the mimosas were excellent. It was a great way to start the day.

My new favorite spot. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants in Florida, but this beachside gem has skyrocketed to the top of my list. From the moment we walked in, everyone was super friendly and welcoming. The vibe was just right – laid-back yet classy. I ordered just one bottle of wine, but it was the best I've ever had. Absolutely top-notch and perfectly complemented the stunning ocean views. The place itself is remarkable, with an atmosphere that just makes you want to stay and soak it all in. Prices are good. I didn’t find it expensive, but it might be for some people. If you want the full experience, expect around $150 per person, but it's totally worth it. If you’re looking for a fantastic dining experience with great service, amazing wine, and an unbeatable location, this is the spot. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. My new favorite, hands down!

This is an excellent restaurant for a nice evening and dinner. Our reservations had a mix up but they were very gracious and seated us. I had the catch of the day (Hogfish) which was delicious and my wife had the Shrimp Scampi. Chris our server was very helpful and friendly. Our food was very delicious and very nice presentation. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.

We went for the food, stayed for the atmosphere, came back because of Freda. She is so talented and so welcoming. Our family loved it there so much we went back a couple nights later! The food is absolutely delicious, even the kids loved it. The wine selection is great. When we asked our family what their favorite night of vacation was, everyone said Hideaway Cafe!!

This is the best kept secret in the Florida Keys. Beautiful views of the ocean as your dining and a very adult feeling in the room. Waiter is very attentive we had an excellent dinner.

We’re here in Marathon on our honeymoon and made a stop at The Hideaway Café — a place we’ve been to before and always look forward to. As expected, the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were spot-on. It’s one of those rare places where you know, every time you come, it’s going to be just as good as you remember — if not better. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic, with that special tucked-away charm that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled upon a secret spot. The service was warm and personal — we felt truly taken care of. They even surprised us with a bottle of wine and dessert for our honeymoon, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our night even more memorable. If you’re in the Keys and looking for a consistently amazing meal with a touch of local magic, this is the place.

This place is awesome. If you want to get away from the touristy places, this is truly local. Fun place to hang out. Love the review of the lady saying the bearded bartender said something rude, but he was 100% right. That bartender is one of the best in the Keys. Don't be a jerk to staff 👍

Great spot! The food was delicious and everything came out fresh and full of flavor. The service was just as impressive — super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. You can tell they actually care about their customers. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

Late night visit. Place was almost empty. Food was good. No wait. Friendly server.

Confusing misprinted menu. Server had no time for use. Waited over 10 minutes for waters. Waited 25 minutes for my cocktail. Food came out at 40 minutes. The honest review is that its pub food. That's it. BUT, the prices are for something fancier. The smash burger menu is way overpriced and confusing and I feel like the waitress didn't even fully understand how to explain it. Honestly its probably a great bar. Cocktail prices aren't bad. But as a restaurant its just a pub pretending its something more.

Food was excellent, delicious burger and fries, the coffee pumpkin ale on tap was great. My complaint for the Friday evening that I came there was the server was working alone and serving 7 tables. Is it always like that?

Burke table for 8, please. Nice local restaurant and bar. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful.The food and drink prices were average and the place was very clean. The food, for the most part, was pretty good but lacked flavor. The Buffalo chicken pizza was overcooked and burnt on the bottom. The rib dinner eventhou they fell off the bone tasted like a jar of BBQ sauce was poured over them as an afterthought. The fish sandwiches a few of us got were really good, and we definitely enjoyed them. Everything else we ordered tasted good and was cooked perfectly.We will most likely try this place again next time we are down in Marathon.

I found this place on Google Maps and it did not dissappoint! You can tell it's more of a locals dive, and that is exactly what I love. The staff was friendly, the beer selection was huge! And the happy hour specials were on point. The food was delicious and it was the least expensive meal we ate while on our annual vacation to the Keys. We'll certainly be returning customers next year!

Avoid this overpriced tourist trap. Awful service, took over an hour for our food to arrive. The shrimp in the scampi tasted old and rubbery and I got food poisoning from the few I did eat 🤢

I loved the food! We had brussel sprouts with a curry sauce as an appetizer and they served complimentary warm buns with butter. It was so yummy! My starter salad was delicious along with the fish. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. I'd definitely go back when in Marathon.

I can't believe it's taken so long try this place. WoW..! The food, service and white table dining were excellent. The Yellow Tail Snapper is a must try. Tell them you want the mashed potatoes with it :)

My sweetie and I came in for dinner, and were very happy with our experience. The steak and seafood entrees were very tempting, but we opted to get a handful of appetizers to share. The yellow curry Brussel sprouts were great. We also enjoyed the cranny tomato soup, warm brie, and spicy calamari and shrimp. The wine and beer list had plenty to choose from. We were also given a basket of warm bread and butter. The atmosphere was very clean and comfortable, and the walls displayed a good collection of barracuda themed artwork. There is a covered outdoor dining area too. We'll be back!

Very clean! Major plus quaint little place. People were friendly. Really had low expectations from the road and high expectations after walking in. Neither were correct. Prices were higher than expected and well described by menu. Presentation of food was really nice. I got the rib-eye which was a real letdown! My sone got shrimp fettuccine and my wife had a bowl of tomato soup and pork potstickers. She loved her soup and potstickers and my son said his plate was mediocre at best. Not quite sure how I missed the picture of the ribeye.

Been here a couple of times now and I’ll start with the good. The Shrimp Scampi is probably the best I’ve ever had. Full of flavor, brimming with plenty of garlic and a touch of tomato sauce that creates a nicely balanced scampi. They load it with shrimp and serve it on perfectly prepared Al Dente linguine. The Jumbo Scallops and Pesto Pasta is also very good with a rich nuttiness that is full of garlic and textures that make it stand out amongst Pesto’s I’ve tasted. The dish comes with 4 monster scallops that are pan seared to perfection. The kids cheeseburger is quite large and absolutely delicious, prepared medium and very well portioned with homemade fries that look like chubby corkscrews. Now for the bad - the 14oz Ribeye was not very good. For $37 I expected the steak to be of better quality. The meat was not tender. It tasted like it had been frozen and possibly a little freezer burned. So this is definitely a place that is worth checking out, but I would stick to the seafood dishes which they have a few options to select from and their menu seems to change periodically which is great for variety. The service is good, complete with white linens and candlelight that gives it a nice ambiance. They don’t take reservations so Olán accordingly as they can get busy on popular nights.

Their bagels look good. Super crispy outside but fell flat inside. More like toast. Lots of options to choose from. From plain to everything. They did mix up our order though and gave us the wrong bagel and filling mix but I understand they were busy. 🥯 Lots of cream cheese flavors: Strawberry, Blueberry, Scallion, Bacon Scallion, Vegetable, Lox Spread, Honey Wallnut, Jalapeño Cheddar and some I have never seen before like…: Banana Cream, Oreo & Cinnamon Bun. Great egg options as well and sandwiches and bowls. The wait can be a little long - but they are clearly in demand and have good food. Some tables inside and outside. Wish they had a public restroom while waiting in line but overall, great place!!

The food was like my grandma would make for me, all with passion and care. They even asked us how does it taste?! Wow! I wish they had a latte or cappuccino coffee, but even though they do t have a house coffee such was tasty too. The patio with orange chairs looks so welcoming, they have several tables and chairs inside too if you not on a hurry and would like to enjoy your sandwich right there. My husband ordered special sandwich ( Cuba’n style bread) that was not on the menu and for additional $2.00 whooooala!!! It happened! We really enjoyed our time there. Not fancy, could use an additional decorative touch, but the freshness of the food speaks out for itself!

I’d give them 5 stars but their coffee selection is limited. While they have lattes it’s not a real machine. I had a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel it was delicious. 😋

I’ve been here multiple times on a different visits down here to the keys. One of my family’s go to breakfast joints. EXCELLENT bagels, I tend to go for the jalapeno cheddar bagel with bacon and scallion cream cheese. My son thinks their breakfast sandwiches are the best. Great quick breakfast joint that I’d recommend to anybody.

Bagels were good!! There was quite a line on a Saturday morning and we were there Memorial Day weekend but the staff was efficient with their number system and attentive to people’s requests! Would definitely recommend for a breakfast place in marathon.

4/2025 Update: Still great food and good prices. Don't forget to check the specials board for interesting options. Good food reasonably priced. The bagels are great as are the sandwiches. It gets a bit busy around 9am (probably folks getting food for their boat trips) but otherwise lines aren't long.

Great bagels, absolutely love the veggie cream cheese on an everything bagel! Egg sandwiches are very good as well. If you do go, in season especially on the weekends d be prepared for a line to the door and to wait outside for your to go order. The line does move swiftly and a timely order and I definitely think it’s worth the wait.

Great location! Came in for the first time with the family and we absolutely loved it. To drink I had a mango margarita which was very yummy. The lobster fritters were ok, but not much lobster found in them. The boys loved their meal. Cheese personal pizza and chicken tender with fries. I usually don’t finish my meals , but the snapper was so tender and flavorful that it was gone in a second. My meal came with a fried corn in a cob which was also really tasty. The full reach of ribs was also good and huge! Service and vibes were great from beginning to end.

Really good food and great service! The space was beautiful, would try and get a water view next time. Parking was a little difficult but not bad. Love that the Mac and cheese was not an up charged side. The passion fruit habanero margarita was super good. Will be back if we head back to Marathon!

We had breakfast. Eggs Benedict, biscuits and sausage gravy, key lime French toast. Everything was good. Eggs in the Benedict were over cooked and the hollandaise was skimpy (but good). The grits were fabulous. The key lime French toast was quite good, but very sweet. The biscuits were fluffy and the gravy was generous and had good sage flavor.

We stopped on the way to the keys, looking for a drink and fun atmosphere. And you nailed it. Fun decor, good drinks and we had some gator bites! Sat under cover but open windows over looking the water. Great, fun spot! I recommend checking it out.

5.0 restarant for sure! Great Keys vibe but with excellent food (not just vibe). Our waiter, Kerr, was engaging, informed about food options, made great suggestions & perfected our first visit skillfully. Loved the salt and scrub in the ladies room. Buying it in the way out. Nice touch!

Absolutely a Florida Keys favorite experience for me. The Keys vibe here checks all the boxes. Drinks are well made with alcohol, food is an experience with the deep fried Key Lime pie being an addiction! We drive from wherever we are to get this succulent dessert! All of the entrees are good portions and the entertainment is Carribean and Midland motivation.

My husband and I came here to marathon on our honeymoon, we came to porkys twice while staying had to come for dinner & breakfast! Vibes were great, service was great and food was amazing! We will come back on our yearly anniversary trip no doubt!

If you haven't made this a regular go to for reasonably priced excellent food you are really missing out! The place is bright, clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is fantastic!! We were in Marathon for 7 days, and we ate here 6 times!! We had Brunch on Sunday, Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. My wife and I both ordered the same items twice for dinner, it really is that good! The conch salad in the plantain cups is really to die for...Never saw that presentation before and it was excellent! The salads are crisp and fresh, the fish is fresh and excellently prepared, and that coupled with the friendly service we received from Barbie makes this a go to! Highly Recommend!!

Had breakfast and dinner here, and both meals were delicious. Got a crab cake benedict for breakfast--yum! Shared some potatoes with a chicken friend, which was very fun. For dinner got a special of a blackened FL lobster tale, Mahi, and shrimp plate. DELICIOUS. Wish we'd discovered this place sooner! Service was also very good and the patio was a wonderful place to enjoy your meals. Will be at the top of our list when we return.

What a gem! The food was AMAZING probably one of the best meals we had in Marathon . We decided to try something different and Brutus did not disappoint. The outside patio is so cute and not hot at all. The fans circulate and keep the area so much cooler than any other patio restaurant I have been to. Our server was awesome, can’t remember her name and the owner Alex came out to say hi and chat. Just an all around great place. Do not skip this restaurant because it’s not on the water. The food is so good! You will not be disappointed… Will definitely be back,

Omg! Best fresh fish in the keys by far! So delicious and well made. Also even if food would not be great I would come back because of the amazing server we had, such a sweet nice and clean server, had a lot of patience and recommended us nice dishes. I def will drive down to the keys only to eat at this place! I’m in love with the food and service we had.

We stopped for lunch just after happy hour started at 1 PM. Great food and staff. I had a Philly Cheesesteak and my wife had the Keys Cuban. We were both very satisfied. Mark is entertaining and informative. We left with a couple of muffins and some cheese cake for later. Was too full for dessert. I want to go back and get the Key Rueben for myself. Indoor and outdoor seating is both offered.

Best breakfast we had while at the islands. Electricity went out because of storm & they still created great dishes. (Gas stove) very polite, very fast! Overall great place.

Surprised by this little restaurant! The food was outstanding (big plate also) and the service equally so. Small indoor dining area and plenty of outdoor seating. The great food and service make this place shine! Hope to return next year.

A must try while visiting the Keys. Great diner feel and great atmosphere. I felt like I was back in time. 😊 I tried the Leo and my husband had a breakfast sandwich. If we’re ever in the Keys again, we’ll be back. FYI we started eating, I forgot to take pictures lol everything looked so good we just started eating.

Great dockside diner with a huge selection of fresh seafood. We were hungry for a good burger and 7 Mile Grill did not disappoint. My husband loves Key Lime Pie and I looked around for who made the best in the area - found it! Not only was the pie homemade but the whipped cream was also homemade. Ron made us feel right at home and the prices were quite reasonable. We will be back again before we leave the area.

What a great find! This little gem in the lower Keys is one that I look forward to visiting again. Talk about value. Not only was the flavor and quality amazing, but the portions were incredible. Friendly staff, awesome outdoor diner, and delicious food.

Decided to check out 7 Mile Grill Marathon Fl after reading that they're supposed to have really good biscuits . Been here for 30 minutes to place a to-go order for breakfast. Got a hello after 10 minutes from the lady, (the guy in the picture looked at me like what the hell are you doing here you don't belong here, never acknowledged me and as I was leaving just glared at me), , said I'd like to place a an order to to go. 14 minutes later 2 people come and sit next to me, got immediate service, they're now eatening and I'm still waiting for my food!! Better be worth the wait!! Egg sandwich with cheddar cheese, scrambled eggs, and white toast or in this case just white soggy bread and a biscuit UPDATE: what a waste of my morning and money, the driest worst biscuits I think I've ever had in my life. They should open up a can of Pillsbury Grands and serve those instead they would be about 1000% better!! Terrible burnt coffee on top of it

7 Mile Grill may not look like much to some driving by, but this cute roadside spot is worth the stop!! It was highly recommended by a friend so we went for breakfast and would’ve gone back again if our trip wasn’t over. Wr sat at the counter, chit chatted a friendly local, I forgot to get the name of the guy that we aired in us but he made me a pretty good Bloody Mary! My husband and I both ordered the country fried steak and it was delicious! I’m sad I forgot to take a picture. Totally not like me. The portions were huge and really could’ve been shared. Next trip back we will definitely return.

HIGHLY recommended for brunch. No frills decor. We sat at a covered picnic table outside by the water. Food was cooked to order and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Perfect scrambled eggs, crispy home fries, and country fried steak was tender and hand battered. Server was laid back yet very attentive and the mimosa was big. Best food and bang we have found for our buck so far in Marathon.

Iconic little Florida Keys restaurant located right at the base of the 7 mile bridge in marathon KEY. My wife and I went for breakfast and sat outside in the warm spring air. I had an omelette that was loaded with fresh meats and cheese, and my wife had the French toast.Both were delicious and fresh off the griddle. It was breakfast so we didn’t have a slice of Keylime pie, but I’ve had the Keylime pie at the 7 mile Grill before and it’s delicious.

Absolutely delicious! Authentic Cuban food and we should know, since we are Cuban descendants. The pork and skin is the BEST I have ever had! My son had pork with congee and maduros. He devoured it. I had the pork and onions sandwich. So moist and flavorful. My husband had the Croquet mix and loved it. Other son had mahi mahi sandwich and said it was way better then he expected. Big portions, so good. I took half my sandwich for later. Highly recommend and I will come here anytime I pass through! Staff is so nice and friendly, like next level. Water glasses were chilled, which was a snacking touch. Water came deliciously cold in a fancy bottle! You have to try this place!!!

Paradise Cuban Restaurant truly lives up to its name! The food was absolutely amazing—bursting with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. From the tender, flavorful meats to the perfectly seasoned sides, every bite was a delight. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a cozy meal with friends or family. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Highly recommend!

The best 🇨🇺 Cuban restaurant in Marathon, Haydee knows how to infuse all our traditional flavors into every meal prepared. Don’t miss out on the Cuban pizza and the best cafe con leche we have ever had 🥰🥰🥰

The service when taking our order was friendly, which I appreciated. However, the wait for the food was far too long. I understand delays can happen when a restaurant is busy, but what truly bothered me was that the dishes were brought out one by one, with over 10 minutes between each. We were a group of six, and the sixth and final plate arrived only when they brought out the silverware. By then, two of us had already had our meals for 30 minutes, and if we waited, our food would have gone cold. To make things worse, the food wasn’t worth the wait I’ve had much better Cuban food elsewhere. I especially wouldn’t recommend the quesadillas. As the name suggests, they should have cheese, but the one I ordered had barely any.

This was an excellent place to stop for lunch. The food is authentic and delicious. We got the cuban sandwich, fried cassava, and cafe coladas. I also picked up a piece of flan to go. All of these options get a 5 out of 5 from me!

This place has really good breakfast sandwiches and Cuban coffee. Outstanding coffee and location. Near the Faro Blanco area hotels. The staff working there was very friendly, and the interior decoration was very classic. Looked like an extensive menu!

We were hungry and decided to stop at this location during st pattys day. the atmosphere was dim in lighting but full with a lot of older people in their green with their drinks. it was lively and looked promising. the sign said seat yourselves so we did. We patiently waited and after waiting for a long time I walked up to a server and finally got served. surprisingly a different server took over for us, and she was honestly quick and attentive. Mind you, I ordered this off the special menu for the holiday so I do not know what their regular menu tastes like. we ordered the shephards pie with the soda bread. It had a weird aftertaste and after a while i realized that this was the worst shephards pie that I’ve ever had in my entire life. I couldnt enjoy the soda bread, i wish it was just corn bread. I couldnt finish it and when the server asked for to-go boxes i politely declined. if you ever get the special menu, do not get this.

Pretty much the best coconut shrimp I've ever had in my life!!! Also the coldest beer I may have ever had. The menu is great, waffle fries are excellent, and just a really cool place to get off the boat and chill for a few hours. I'd like to go back and order some more items from the menu to give it a real run for its money, but overall it was great.

The building didn’t look as it does on pictures online, looks like they’ve had a new paint job since the pic but we found it just the same. We went there because it was late and they were one of the few places still open and we were hungry! Bad news was that although online their hours were til midnight, that’s just the bar, the kitchen closes at 10pm. We had a great server who let us know right away that the kitchen would be closing in 15 minutes but, if we could get our order in they’d get it ready for us. We quickly made our decisions and placed our order. Fried shrimp, a chicken gyro, seared ahi tuna appetizer and wings. The food came out quickly and portions were large! The wings were a little dry/overcooked but other than that everything was quite tasty and our server was great. It was more of a bar scene but again it was late so during the afternoon or evening it may have been better for family dining? We would probably go again.

Great place to watch a game and have fun with friends! They have both indoor and outdoor seating with TV's in both places. The food was great and the service was good.

We read good reviews so decided to go for dinner. At first sight we were a little nervous by the looks of the parking lot but we were pleasantly surprised. Our waitress was very nice and informative about what we should order and she wasn't wrong! The pot roast she recommended was delicious.

Eh it’s a fine place to eat. It’s not bad but it’s also not amazing. More of a drinking place than a dinner place. Also make sure to check when the game day beer pricing is available even if you get a menu. Cool little hangout overall. Had an arcade so that was interesting and a fun mural. The calamari and crab cakes were good the fish and chips not so much. Large area and well stocked bar as well as outdoor bar seating area.

Glad to see the fish of the day was Grouper. Been wanting to have some since we arrived in Florida a few days ago. Can’t get grouper in my hometown yet. I looked up a bunch of reviews and saw some seriously negative ones out there about Overseas Pub & Grill. You all need stop by and decide for yourself. We thought it was a really good place to get drinks and food and had a great experience. The blackened grouper was amazing. The sides were also very well prepared. Stopped here for a quick bite - not only is the food amazing, best panini I’ve had in US, their selection of healthy snacks is incredible. Their elderberry spritz with homemade syrup? INCREDIBLE! I’m gonna need a full franchise of this place in every major airport! I so appreciate a restaurant that actually cares about using ingredients that are fueling you nutritionally.

Cute place. Didn’t eat but the food smelled delicious. Very nice employees. Good selection of natural and organic products. We bought our Islamorada Honey from there.

Lunch was homemade with care and thought of flavors and health. Fresh juices, original health conscience drink combinations using bold flavors like mint, lime, and giner. The specials were delicious. Vegan and vegetarian options for most items on the menu.

While on vacation, I am always looking for a healthier food option. When I found this place I was so happy! I visited every day and tried their muffins, smoothies and açaí bowls. Everything was amazing and the staff were all SO friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back and visit again next time.

This wonderful cafe doubles as an organic food store which is delightful to peruse while you wait for your food. You can sit in the cafe or a little bistro table outside. I had the “meatball” wrap which they made gluten free for me. It was OUTSTANDING! I’m going to make this a regular stop on my drive. Unfortunately I ate everything before I thought to take a picture but it was as beautiful as it was delicious.

They’ve got hand crafted Nitro Cold Brew. Smoothest coffee you’ll ever get!( and awesome). Great staff, good vibe.

Delicious little spot filled with yummy organic food and local goodies. Picked up some natural organic remedies to deal with dinosaur sized mosquitoes.. 😆 and it worked

Omar was so wonderful and attentive! He was kind and friendly, and took his time getting to know us. He was lovely. Our steaks were great, too - I’m pretty sure we only said “wow” to each other, many times over, once they were delivered!

Just wow. Starting with the team, Charles was absolutely wonderful. Checking in on us through out our dinner was just so kind. Denisa was just as wonderful! Such a sweet person. The food was delicious. I am pretty picky with my steaks and I’ll say the filet was incredible! 10/10 all around. Cannot wait to be back.

Six-one prime is a lovely fine dining restaurant located inside the Hawks Cay Resort Lobby. Absolutely A1 services from beginning to end Reservation or walk-in friendly. They had high chair for our little ones and delicious kid friendly meal options. Not on the menu please ask you waiter. The food was so fresh and delicious the starter bread was so soft and warm he had to ask for seconds. We were a party of 4 adults 3 children all ordered something different of the menu and it was all finger-licking good. I would come back to this resort just for Six-One Prime. Easily took a high spot on my all time favorite restaurants in the Florida keys.

We had the absolute best time being served by Denisa & Charles. They kept us entertained & we felt so welcomed! Just like family. The food though was phenomenal. The scallops were 10/10!!!!!!! Salad was so fresh & delicious. The braised Lamb was our absolute favorite of the night! All four of us ordered the same thing & loved it! Highly recommend if you come and visit! We will definitely be back!

We had the Rybeye steak and several sides. I have to say that this was one of the best meals I have ever had, from start to finish. The staff was wonderful. Ask for Charles and Omar, they are attentive and eager to make your experience phenomenal.

Fair time staying at Hawks Cay Resort. We enjoyed a delicious dinner our first night. Food, cocktails and service was fantastic!!! Key Lime Martini was fabulous (enjoyed 2), my husband enjoyed a Mango Mojito. We shared the Prime Strip Steak, it was superb, so was the Lobster Bisque with Lobster Salad. Highly recommend!!

Named after the mile-marker where it's located, this restaurant can be found inside the lobby of Hawk's Cay Resort. There's self parking & valet parking. Call to see if they're open because Google maps said they are closed Monday-Wednesday but I think that's old since we ate there on Tuesday. It's good for a date & they can accommodate a large family. You can also just go for drinks since there's a full bar. The staff was friendly and attentive. Before we went, I checked the menu on their website, but it was a bit different. When asked about the scallops appetizer on the site, the waiter VINCENT, asked the chef to accommodate and he did. Really good scallops, with a mushroom risotto base & I enjoyed them thoroughly. I'd recommend them even as a main meal, although I believe they're in a different sauce. There are specials of the day not on the menu so be sure to check. Vincent was really nice and knowledgeable about the menu. They brought out warm fresh rolls & butter. I decided on the fresh catch of the day, snapper, and hubby got the tomahawk steak, it was almost a 2 foot bone attached to the steak! He ordered it medium rare & it was medium rare, which is exactly how he liked it. We also got crispy steak fries, which were nice & crunchy. The snapper was presented very nicely and tasted good. We were pretty stuffed but wanted something sweet. Thought we saw Gelato on the website, they don't have that anymore, nor do they have the Tiramisu (old menu) so we got the 4 Layer chocolate fudge cake that came with a tiny scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. Very sweet, great way to end the meal. It was extremely decorative and looked really pretty. The lobby is nice and they have a big fish tank. If you're in the area or staying on premises, this is a nice place to go. Even if it's just to have drinks & appetizers.

We stopped here on our drive to key west and we were pleasantly surprised. It’s not as much a restaurant like you would normally imagine. It’s more like a garden with food trucks hidden in the greenery. It was overcast, so it wasn’t too hot and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. My aunt had been before and recommended the tacos. 10/10. There’s also a market to purchase local produce and seafood.

This place was fabulous. Super tasty food. Great Latte. Excellent Acai Bowl. Chickens walking around. Rain forest/Florida style back patio. The pictures speak for themselves. They even sold locally sauved meats and products.

Now our favorite spot on Marathon! Funky tropical food truck, coffee shop and mercantile all in one. We stopped in for lunch on a weekday and had plenty of parking and seating available. Ordered a bowl selection of island-style veggies as the base, Havana style, with key lime mahi mahi (pictured). It was fantastic! We will be back soon and next time grab some coffee. Can't wait!

We stopped in for a quick bite and left dreaming about these sandwiches. The chicken salad—an easy 10/10—was the best we’ve had in ages. The breezy, welcoming vibe brought me back to a little sandwich shop I loved in Hawaii. A true gem in the Keys.

Beat place to eat in Marathon and its a top 5 for us in the keys. Key lime Mahi is awesome and our favorite. Locals discount is a plus. We prefer the lunch menu and portions are enough for some leftovers later that night.

The bbq rib bowl is delicious. The rice is super flavorful. All the pickled veggies are good. The ribs were tender and juicy. Such a great meal. Very impressed.

One of the best finds in the Keys. The food, the market, the atmosphere. It's all there. Coffee menu amazing. Service amazing. This place blew my mind is was so good. The bacon is fresh pork belly and has a taste I cant explain. Speechless.

Good people and food...thanks for breakfast we had the Cuban BEC and the Pork Tamales. I would have liked fresh eggs cracked as I order the sandwich and also bacon fresh off the griddle instead of bacon bits. Bump up to 4 stars for the AMAZING latte!

Wow! Incredible food and friendly owners! The guava and cream cheese pastry was so good that we went back for another! Coffees were excellent. What a wonderful start to the day!

I got an iced latte with caramel and it was absolutely delicious. The lady who owns this place is super sweet and very knowledgeable. Her pastries are great, give them a try too!

Exceptional food and service! Definitely stop here for a cafe con leche or iced coffee and cuban sandwich. Everything we tried was amazing and insta worthy.

Wonderful Cuban sandwich! Great service as well. We were so disappointed when Cuban Coffee closed on Big Pine Key after Covid hit. We were delighted to find these are the same owners at Isla Latte, now in Marathon. Can't wait to return!

So, so, good! Coffee was excellent, pastries were amazing!!. The ham, egg and cheese on Cuban bread was scrumptious. The atmosphere was cute and everything was delicious! Highly recommend. We will definitely be going back!

This place is amazing. The owner goes out of the way to make sure the food is delicious, fresh, and the best ingredients. We went earlier in our trip and made a point to get it again before we left. Locals and travellers alike come here for a reason. Make sure to stop in anytime you're in the area, especially for the breakfàst sandwiches on fresh Cuban bread!
