The 24 best cheap eats in Ashington

Absolutely terrible. Will not be back. Reservation at 12, by the time the party all arrived it was 12.30, ordered our food which took 30-40minutes for a lot of it to be wrong. My niece got the children’s chicken dipper meal, the chicken dippers were rock hard so we had to request them to be made again (took a photo of them). I have allergies and I’m also lactose intolerant which I stated at the till when ordering, so was very specific with my order, for my order to come out with burger sauce spilling out of the pot over a 1/4 of my chips and burger, so I requested to get done again. The server who we asked both of these requests to didn’t look amused we had asked her to do this and when she came back out she had a bit of an attitude that she had to go back to the kitchen. I paid an extra £1.50 for bacon on my burger, I received 1 single crispy bit of bacon which was rock solid (took a photo of this). So everyone else was eating their food whilst I was waiting for mine to be redone. Before tucking in we then noticed we were missing a side order of chips and got told we had them, we didn’t it was a separate order in the party as we requested x2, this request was sorted out and they brought them but half the meal had been eaten at this point. So for all this hassle just to try have a small family birthday meal, I’ll be going somewhere else next time. Had similar problems 2 months ago when I came for my work night out, with the bar running out of ingredients to make drinks and being out of certain food, despite knowing a party of about 20 people were coming, so I wanted to give Old Ash Dene a chance to redeem themselves, but sadly not the case.

Food was lovely, reasonably priced and arrived fast. I didnt get one but the pizzas smelled absolutely amazing!! Has an outdoor & indoor area for kids. The indoor space was a little disappointing with the main focus being 2 screens but they did have educational games on so can't complain too much.

Hmm…ran out of rhubarb gin, didn’t know how to make a negroni, rare steak came out completely cooked. 45 mins wait for dessert. The meat platter was like eating rubber shoes. Yes and we payed for all this.. if you enjoy food, i’d stay away from this place.

One of my lovely locals! Joanne and the team give the best service and the food is always lovely. I was fortunate to have one of the Tuesday quiz nights recently to help me to raise money for Blood Cancer UK in memory of my Dad. I managed to raise over £1300. Joanne promoted my event page, made sure I had tables booked for family and friends, I had an area to set up the raffle prizes and donated a couple of prizes to the raffle as well. I’m extremely grateful for the support.

Staff were friendly, my dad complained the coffee tasted of nothing and the barman took it back but did nothing. The food was awful unfortunately we ate it all as we were starving but the steak was chewy, a salad was almost non existent, the grilled tomato hadn’t even seen a grill and the chicken was tough and chewy. When the food was collected we told the staff member this and she did come back with some desert but a very poor experience overall and really disappointed as we were hoping it would be our new local for food.

Very disappointed Sunday lunch. We have been before and enjoyed our meal and came back for a second try. I had an autistic young person with me and after we had been waiting for almost an hour for our meal, she started to get frustrated. We originally wanted a roast beef and a roast turkey lunch but were told there was no turkey left so ordered chicken instead. After 40 minutes waiting I was told there was no beef left and ended up ordering a medium rare steak instead, which I assumed they could cook in a few minutes. When the food eventually came 20 minutes later, the steak was very over cooked and very chewy. I decided just to leave it and as soon as my young one was finished we left. We won’t be back.

Really interesting venue! Great place to have a wander and a coffee. We also had a talk about the Pitmen Painters, an art club set up by minors which ran until the pit closures in the 1980’s.

This place is amazing! Well worth a visit. They do guided tours as well which gives you some history which helps contextualise the site.

This is a great day out. Plenty to see and learn. The kids enjoyed it too. There were some buildings you could get in but others under refurbishment. We arrived on the 1 Sunday a month that the sounds are not on until 12. There are plenty of information boards and they are written well and quite funny. The car park is free and at the site. There are toilets in the car park and in the main building. There is also a cafe here woth a gift shop. The staff were polite.

Absolutely love this museum a must visit for everyone of all ages. A brilliant record of industrial and social history with varying displays, exhibitions and events as well as the famous Ashington Painters artworks.

Brilliant weather for a brilliant day, Classic and Vintage Car Rally on as well made even more enjoyable for my son and me...!

Really interesting place to visit, friendly staff, plenty of free parking, dog friendly except in the main building, cafe on site, close by is also a lakeside walk, well worth a visit

We really enjoyed our day at this fantastic museum. The staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable. The guided talks were great and gave us a great insight into the mine. One of the guides was a retired miner which and he was able to explain what it was like to work in a coal mine. We ate lunch in the onsite cafe which was delicious. We spent all day there and would highly recommend the museum which is amazing value for money.

A proper locals local, passing trade will be minimal. There is plenty of space inside and the bar staff are good. Large car park and wheelchair accessible throughout.

Went for a night out around Christmas. Great atmosphere, affordable and friendly staff. Live music was on offer and the tables of customers were super supportive and sang along. Didn't eat food that evening but people were ordering take out to the venue which is a great idea for late night accessibility.

An ideal local for surrounding residents or those dropping by while travelling although a little off the beaten track for the latter. Decent range of drinks and the food is always good and quickly delivered. I myself today enjoyed a couple of Stellas and the peri peri chicken nachos, delicious to say the least, and my mate Michael concurred, tremendously enjoying his John Smiths too while sharing the nachos, which wasn't a problem due to the size of the portion 😋 Attentive, welcoming bar staff, and a good mix of seemingly regulars who were all friendly and, like us, enjoying a Friday afternoon drop of relaxation. Plenty of outside seating both out front next to the car park and also the beer garden at the rear. Bravo. Plenty for all including families, although today was beautifully sprog-free. I love children but I couldn't eat a whole one.

Went for the Thursday quiz. Really good fun despite coming second. Food was lovely and service was quick.

went to order on uber was £12.50 for the curry, rice & keema nan, £17 od with delivery so I decided to call the shop and order over the phone for collection, got to the shop, was charged £13.60 don't know why it would be more calling & collecting it directly from the shop and not from ubereats. very watery... taste wise was ok, chicken was abit chewy. nan bottom was hard top soft so half went in the bin would I buy from here again? no.

I ordered the Madras and it was like water with no flavour to it. I could understand if it had little to no spice but my wife who ordered the tandoori chicken masala said hers was very nice. She said if it was based on mine it would get 1* as it was like water but hers was lovely so we met half way. The takeaway menus are only valid till 30th October 2018 so goodness knows what the prices are. Picture of menu I picked up today 06/08/2020 attached. I can tell you this for 1x Madras, 1 X tandoori chicken masala, 1 veg pelau, 1 peas pelau, 2 nans and 2 poppadoms it was £25.30. Each dish had 5-6 bits of chicken (roughly 3/4 of a chicken breast). Not great value or product however I will try this place in a month or 2 and hopefully give you all a glowing review. I really want my local businesses to shine and invite my friends over but at the moment this place is (in my eyes) is over priced for what you get. I really hate being negative but there are a few positives in there. Let me know if it has changed or if I have just caught them on a bad day.

Waited over 2 hours in fact I’m still waiting so I’ve ordered kfc can’t go wrong with that wouldn’t recommend 🤬🤬🤬

I love this place, the food is lush. Arrived piping hot. Special thali (not sure I spelled that right) however it is a bargain enough for two decent portions not massive if you prefer huge portion add another rice and starter. So tasty will be back 😋

We've NEVER had a bad or even an average meal from Ameera's. Tonight we got yet another fantastic meal and we could not recommend them enough. Brilliant food, fantastic selection and delivered in great time too. I would give 10 stars if possible. By far and away the best Indian takeaway in our area.

Away from Leicester, you are not likely to find a great Indian cuisine. But we had a delicious food, amazing taste twice during our stay. Definitely worth if you are nearby.

The online ordering service was very easy to use, even options for salt & vinegar per portion. We are staying at a holiday park and they called before they left to deliver and we met them at the Reception area. The fish and chips were delicious and the homemade pies where fantastic (more pukka than pukka, his words not mine). We would highly recommend.

Probably the best fish & chips I've ever had. Massive chunky piece of cod and whatever they cook them chips in tastes amazing. Even when it was busy order taken quickly and food cooked there and then and well worth the minimul wait. Excellent price. This has to be the Carlsberg of Fish & Chip shops !.

Have been coming here for over ten years….. The quality of the food is outstanding - I’ve been to many Indians in the north east and other areas - and this beats them hands down. Be prepared for a rollercoaster of flavors - I’ve never had sauces like this anywhere before. Authentic food matched with an authentic atmosphere. Every time I eat here it’s like the first time all over again - can’t rate this place enough.

I had my first Indian food today, yeahhh! Chicken Vindaloo... beautiful! Onion bhaji with garlic naan bread, yummy! Customer service... excellent. I will definitely go back.

Excellent, haven't been for a few years but we loved it. We went for the £14.95 five course special. Every course was delicious, opted for the mixed dupiaza for a change, brilliant. Definitely going back soon, in the mean time I will definitely be getting our next carry out from Masala ( they don't do delivery but if you can collect from the shop it's well worth the journey). I don't need to add photos, just check out the website, what you see is exactly what you get.

Food was excellent at the beginning. However, the food quality has been slipping as of recently. The boss has been very abrupt when we are trying to enjoy our meal out. He continuously talks about how the staff are bad and will rarely leave us in piece. As for the kitchen, the standards are worse than appalling. Did you know that when you order a Masala the sauce is cooked once then left in the pan until it is needed again and reheated many times a night? The cutlery is then dried with USED CLOTHES from the tables that have stains on them. I will also add that these clothes have not been washed, they are removed from the tables when the customers leave then they are put into a wash basket where they are used to dry the cutlery. The waiting staff have always been very friendly and try their best, they are told to dry the cutlery like this, there is also a bucket that is used to put the cutlery in and it is filled with water. The water is left in there for a long time then it is emptied for fresh water to go in, the staff are taught to do this and many times there has been food still on the knives and forks that just gets wiped away. I have also been informed that there are rodent droppings in the supply room by the kitchen. I believe that this statement is true as I have had experience with the ordeals here. I was approached by a few people asking me if I was alright after the boss had been VERY rude to me IN FRONT of customers. When you leave the waiting staff that bring you your food, service with a smile a tip, they are unable to keep the tips unless the money is handed to them directly or you make a fuss over it.

Bought fish and chips and a portion of oinion rings with a garlic sauce.. I ordered on the website to be delivered. Very easy to navigate the site. Gave me a estimated time of delivery of 60 minutes. The order came in 25 minutes. I enjoyed my fish and chips it was a good amount. The fish had a nice flavour to it. I would recommend you try it

Lovely food. The windows could of been cleaner. The lighting could be a bit more spaced out. Could do with soft music playing. Saviours in place for waiting customers. Apart from that it's a good place. As I have just been released from a Secure Mental Health Unit I am taking a good look at eateries with the view of opening one very soon

They stopped all non-dairy milks for hot drinks to look after customers allergic to oat and soya. Apparently there is some discrimination about the type of allergy (because they didn't remove dairy milk, which is also an allergen for many). They could provide oat milk squeezy 20mL cartons (as they do at Morrisons), but don't seem to care much. So guess where we are going now. (I will remove this review when they find a proper, non-discriminatory solution).

I do enjoy a lovely sausage, breakfast roll from Greggs. However, because there isn’t a Caffè Nero or Costa in Ashington I somewhat stupidly gave Greggs a chance and bought a latte. Unsurprisingly, the drink from the machine was cold and disgusting. You have to ask why they bother? To display a drink on a poster and call it Everyday Tasty Value made me check the date thinking it was 1 April. Stick to what you do best Greggs and you’ll be fine but please please drop the disgusting drinks machine.

According to my partner the food is okay the service seemed quite fast as she wasn't gone that long. I waited in the car and the atmosphere was great for 5 minutes

Ordered breakfast through just eat, asked if they could make lattes with soya milk. It wasn't a problem at all, food & drinks arrived with a lovely little note saying they had made them as requested. Fabulous service!

Back again just to make sure I hadnt dreamt that the food was lovely. I had to have quiche again but Tony had steak suet pie crust. OMG amazing!!! Sorry, eaten too quickly for photos. Oh and we were fighting over the coleslaw so had to get a second dish

This is our go to for a quick, tasty Chinese. Every meal has tasted great. Especially love the curry sauce, blackbean and chop suey rolls. Love the fact you get chippy chips with a Chinese as well. Chippy part is also good, good priced fish and chips. Battered burger is unreal!

This place gets a good amount of customers. The food is nice and reasonably priced. You can get Chinese food aswell as normal chippy items. I would recommend the chicken curry.

1st time here and lived in Ashington all my life. Since the golden flower went down hill I have been trying different Chinese takeaways and this 1 tonight was absolutely spot on. Salt and pepper chicken fried rice and curry sauce 👍👌I think I have found my new Chinese takeaway.

Lovely couple and so friendly. There curry sauce is rather on the spicy side but is still delicious. Love the gravy and how thick it is. Love the quality of portion size you get Chips are gorgeous

First time ordering Chinese at this place and it was strange, obviously the chips were chippy chips, but with the Chinese food, it just didn’t seem right. You could taste and smell the fryer, which obviously put me off… I think the chippy would be lovely, but the Chinese side is a no from me, tastes to much like a chippy

Trust, go here. Get Cantonese beef with crispy noodles. I’d walk over any terrain and mountain and lakes to get my hands on it

i love this place so much!! i go so often me and the owners are mates, the food is soooooo cheap yet so good, id pay like a million quid for a tub of garlic sauce. the chips are so crispy and fresh, kebabs unreal, pizzas, oh my days, the pizzas....BEST PIZZA IVE EVER HAD!! I had a friend put me onto this place and it was so good i had to share, i literally have a mate who i bond over this place with. GO BEFORE THE PRICES INCREASE !!

Been to this takeaway for years ..ordered house special mushroom...had about 20 carrots and the same onion..the bit meat I had could chew it.and the sauce was like water ..rang up and he said I will tell the chef...no offer of replacing it or refund ...not be back

I Have just had the house special chop suey and can honestly say it is the worst I have ever tasted. The meat is dry, especially the chicken. The green peppers are almoust grey in colour they are so over cooked or not fresh! The sauce was watery with absolutely no taste. I have never had an issue before with this Chinese however this meal was disgusting.

Not the first time we’ve ordered from here and generally okay. Tonight wasn’t great. Photo is of whole lamb chops, had a funny smell and strong taste, left the others. Also, mix up with the order which was the booking systems fault but for what we’ve had tonight we won’t be back I’m afraid.

Mixed kebab wrap and took forever to arrive and was still 15 mins late, barley warm, and was tiny with 4/5 chunks of meat in. Chips were poor too. Absolutely devastated as had been looking forward to it all day. Go to Toscana instead.

You have off street and on street parking. The shop from is clean and inviting. To enter the store a small step is in place. They do have a few tablets and chairs to sit and enjoy your food ordered. I was made to feel welcome and the day specials was explained to me I ordered the mince and Dumplings to go. I also got a cheeky bit of crunchie cake. I did go in with the intention to get a tuna salad. 🙅 The food was nice and had alot of flavour to it. Go and give then ago and enjoy

Rang up to order a breakfast I asked what the option are for meduim and large to be to told medium is two of everything and large will be three of everything, i ordered a large, upon bringing it home from collection and opening the order they had only gave me 2 eggs, 2 toast, 1 hashbrown and 1 black pudding I called up to ask about this to be told that even though they said three of everything on the phone and that I should have looked at the menu and that I haven't ordered from there before if i had of know 3 of everything doesn't include the above stated item i would of went else where the women of the phone was very rude telling me I have never been there which I find amusing as I mainly get delivery's and she cant afford to do 3 of everyeverything for the price she charged for 3 of everything, i will not be going again the food is OK but the customer service and false advertising is not acceptable I went today as its local to the area but I will now go elsewhere that provides better quality food and customer service, there is other establishments abit more of a drive away that I will use they would not re inburse me my money or provide the extra food.

Got two Christmas dinners as I was working, they were fantastic x Just bought corned beef pie tray, cheese and onion quiche, sausage rolls, absolutely gorgeous. Marble cake and chocolate cake, beautiful x Will definitely recommend Betty's bakes and cakes xx

Just ordered from here via website waited around 1 hr still no delivery rang shop to ask where my food is and was told they are cancelling my order as delivery not available in my area. Total joke. Stay well clear of this company as they pick and choose where they can and cant delivery to as and when it suits them

Ordered a garlic bread with cheese it came was warm but a wired yellow colour pizza base was not nice and was soaking in grease and oil took one bite and went in the bin would never recommend this place to anyone or ever order from here again

I had to rate this place not only because the pizzas are AMAZING but also to thank the kind gentleman working there that gave my autistic 7 year old a capri sun for nothing. (He was munching on a gingerbread man that was rather dry so he was thrilled to get a drink and i think he was taken back by it. As we walked home we talked about how nice it is to be nice! That small gesture was just lovely and it made botb of our days. We had just been to the co-op for fruit for the next day and the smell of food coming from pizza house was just too tempting. We opted for a half pepperoni and half a chicken kiev, it was delicious and cooked to perfection! We don't often get pizza but I am so glad we did last night. A small bit of reassurance that there are good people out there! Thanks very much to the whole team at Pizza House! I hope the lovely man sees this! Carrie

First time ordering , absolutely gorgeous kabab meat loads for your money. Garlic bread could do with a little more cheese and garlic for taste only the bread was beautiful and soft. The salad was presented well and fresh. 5* for the delivery driver who had a smile and even said thank you and enjoy your meal ! Service goes along way , delivery on time couldn't fault it at all 👏👏👏👏👏

Food is always good here however all the extras getting added on aren't ideal. Delivery,ok fair enough. Bag charge? Service charge? Normally charged at restaurants for having your food etc brought to your table. Takeaway Service charge? What bagging it up? Just add extra charges on for the craic why don't you.🙄

It was a Friday night, just got back from work tired and hungry. Decided to order online. The pizza, chicken nugget and sprite drink were just what I needed for the night. Thank you Pizza House.

If you like milky bar don't expect it cause it's replaced with "spunky bar" cheap, awful disgusting chocolate with the odd real button. Disappointed

i am appalled. i ordered last night, and have only just been able to put into words how i feel. ordered a cookie dough, smoothie and a mocktail. the smoothie tasted like VOMIT🤢🤮 and wasnt even cold, after 20 minutes a HORRID sludge formed ontop, i was disgusted. the mocktail was rancid and i was unable to drink, and the fruit in it was MOLDY. AND the cookie dough was 2cm thick, sorry but if the cookie dough is £7.00 i expect more. i am utterly disappointed and shocked, i am a loyal customer, and the lack of cookie dough left my son starving and in tears. we are definitely not returning, the d was not big.

We’ve had a few orders from here now where items have been missing. We order on the McDonald’s app but here lies the problem, because Uber are the couriers it is them that you have to try and contact to get a refund which they then request McDonald’s for. Uber don’t make the food and they don’t pack the bags and miss the food items out. Yet again we’ve had an order delivered and the burgers that were part of the meals were missing. Then out of the other burgers we did have in the bag, the cheeseburger, which I order with no onions as I have an intolerance to onions, actually had onions in it…….its even on the label stating NO ONIONS! I did have this happen with the onions before but because I had another burger I could eat then I didn’t raise an issue about it but this time there were no other burgers! Sick of using them now as you either don’t get your food at all or if you do and it needs to be made up for a specific dietary requirement then you still probably can’t eat it.

Went into McDonalds Ashington with my family this evening. We went in with some take away my wife bought from another take away shop as she was hungry. While waiting for our order she had some bite. After our McDonald’s order arrived, we were happily eating our meal untill one of the staff approached us and rudely and loudly demanded we take our food away as we didn’t purchase the other meal from McDonalds. We politely told her we bought a meal from them and we didn’t know about this policy, yet she kept demanding we take our food away. So we left . Mind you this is a family of 3, a Mom with a 6months old baby and a Dad. “What a great customer service” NEVER GOING BACK

Super slow service when i arrived after ordering. The app. Told me some of my items were unavailable. Had to reorder and wait for another 15 minutes for food to be ready

Staff are lovely. Uber has wrecked the food quality and service time. You shouldn't have to wait 15mins in a grill bay for a hash brown in a fast food restaurant

Worst mcdonald's iv ever visited. Full of uber drivers refusing to move and down right rude. Can't park for the uber drivers. Vist the toilets if you dare ,no loo roll water all over the place taps broken. Then the wait while uber eats get sorted first. Sat down at a table to get sprayed all over by someone cleaning the table. Nothing said just marched up and sprayed all over the table my phone was covered in his spray. He then returned 5 mins later and started sweeping under our table even tho we were eating. I would rather drive to cramlington then ever vist this disgusting place again.

Local canny staff happy to have a laugh, chat & share a joke, it can get very busy in the school holidays. Morning is the best time to go the car park is a bit small so dont be surprised if there are no spaces. The opening hours are McD's usual.

Chips were very poor and mostly inedible (50 per cent)....rock hard, just bits from the bottom of the fryer. This cereal bowl shows all the poor chips, 27 grams worth. I think for the price of 2.50, need to be alot better than this. About half my meal ended up in the bin.

Ordered fish bites and chips. Chips ok .Fish bites were terrible . Tail ends of fish. No chunks of fish just thin flakes. Paid £13.00 including delivery. Absolute waste of money. Very Disappointed.

Excellent food, lots of choices very reasonable prices, fast delivery service and lady serving was really helpful. Highly recommend especially if staying at Sandy Bay holiday park very expensive food.

Very rough looking which should have been a warning but sometimes these places are cracking. Got two sausage and chips for the kids, luckily I did the dad tax on the sausage, and they were extremely sour tasting and obviously had something wrong with them so in the bin they went. Unfortunately we had driven away and it wasn't worth the hassle going back.

Will give it a 2 at best, ordered through uber eats and looked like they just popped in chips and chicken that had been sitting for ages as was luke warm when it arrived. The boneless banquet for one was edible but the so called zinger salad was given to the dog aa some remedial just chucked it in a box, quite a difference from what it was supposed to look like

Havnt had KFC for years and fancied one tonight. Ordered chicken burger meal for delivery to my home. Food cold on arrival which surprised me as store is 5 mins drive away. Food cold and chips soggy best part of meal was the can of coke. £13 wasted. Food was like a child's portion. Certainly will not be ordering a KFC ever again or going into restaurant

Terrible, service was very slow and left 2 zinger burgers and 2 bottles of water off my order, food wasn't great either. I'd avoid, essentially they've not supplied what I paid for, basically theft.

The food is usually tasty, but over the past few years, we've only had a couple of orders which have been complete. We play a bit of a game of 'what's missing this time?' - We've had missing sides and sauces, wrong sauces and burgers with no sauce on. Would have given fewer stars, but because we don't normally complain, they've not had the option to put things right. We don't complain because by the time we'd get it sorted, the food we did get would be cold.

Order came, food nice and hot BUT wrong order!!!! Fuming as KFC Ashington must have phones on busy tried phoning to complain no answer on constant user busy!!!!!! Not a happy customer!!!!!!

Went Sunday 7/7/24. Ordered a couple of box meals plus hot wings and popcorn chicken. £32. Waited for 5 mins at drive through window as we'd taken them by surprise by ordering when they were open. Got home. My box meal, which should have been Zinger Tower was a fillet tower with BBQ sauce. Rank IMO and I didn't eat it. Chips are rubbish now and no amount of burnt chips spice can convince me otherwise. Hot wings were all batter - like eating scraps from a chippy but more expensive. I don't think I've gotten what I ordered from any KFC in England that I've been to in the last 5 years, maybe 10 - I've either had to check it and go in and get stuff replaced or taken wrong food home if i didn't. Not good, not fast, not cheap. My dog is happy to finish off about £16 of tat.

Sadly the first and last order from here. Paid for the large chips and this is the portion size?? Very poor, I wouldn’t recommend .

First time ordering here. I was impressed with the food. I tried the new curry and chips. And also ordered a garlic bread with cheese and mushrooms. I would say the garlic bread with cheese and mushroom was very nice. It wasn't greasy like some are from other takeaways. The chips and curry was also very nice. It did have a nice flavour to it.

Ordered from here last weekend at 8.20 food arrived just before 10pm. The burger I ordered said it came with chips, all I received was a burger in a burger container with about 12 chips squashed underneath the bun, black chips and stone cold (obviously the leftovers) burger tasted like a tinned burger, no salad on it either..... bit of a rip off for how much it cost..... i can safely say I will never order from here again

Ordered fish and chips, a bbq chicken pizza and a chilly sauce Food was incredible, good portion of chips and the fish was crispy and delicious Chilly sauce was amazing and spicy and one of the best in Ashington The bbq chicken pizza was also really delicious and would recommend it Will definitely be back again

Not so good this time - only one other customer before us but still had to wait 30 minutes for fish and chips - lots of little bits in the chips and the batter on the fish was very soft. It's a shame I've had some nice food from here in the past.

Food was horrific, really awful. Cold and stale. Shope itself was clean but must have had the air con blasting as it was baltic in there. Service wasn't offering much better service either. Will not return under any circumstances. Honesty food was possibly the worst I've ever had. None if us ate it. We got 3 large sausages and chips with 2 cartons of gravy and it was £16! Absolutely disgusting.

Got a takeaway from this place today. It came in and was covered in grease, could barely eat it, had to stop due to sickening feeling. Would only eat if I was genuinely about to die of starvation.

ordered my food, it was 2 hours late,when it arrived they forgot my chips with my kebab so i rang up to ask for them to be delivered. the man on the phone to me was extremely rude and accused me of being a liar, his manor was awful. on top of that the food was stone cold. i am a loyal customer and don usually have issues however i do not appreciate the way i was spoken too. i will not be coming back. this entire experience has broken my heart and absolutely ruined my night in, my poor son now has no chips and will not eat his kebab and will probably starve for the rest of the night. i am shocked at the disrespect and the hurt this takeaway shop has caused me tonight. i hope the man that spoke to me tonight has a long look in the mirror and should think twice about the way he speaks to his loyal customers

Ordered a pizza and a chicken kebab. What a shocking disaster. Somehow managed to get pizza cheese browned with the base still cold and raw. Chicken kebab has never seen a kebab. Was a pot of over cooked stringy chicken with some after thought fried onions on top. Worst takeaway I've ever had, most of it went in the bin and I had a bowl of cereal instead. First and last visit.

Ordered my food, over two hours ago. When both the kebab,which was as stale as can be, and the cheesy chips were unsalted, finally turned up, turns out they left our plain chips in mammies house, we then rang the shop where a rude man answered we then informed them that the chips were not here he then proceeded to call me a ‘liar’ and said he will ‘check cctv’, he continued to speak in a angry manor at a loyal customer who orders here everyday without complaint, this has indeed changed my opinion on this kebob shop, he’s fully broken my heart as kebab was my go to meal but now i’m going to have to settle for kebab meat in the asda freezer aisles, least the freezers won’t give me attitude.

Me and my friend been very good customers for years always ordering almost every night between us mainly a chicken shwarma wrap, chips, garlic sauce n cheese & the woman who always answered the phone was lovely always new who I was, my order to a T and was always 12/10 in quality… past week they have been disgusting and had to throw the last one as it was soaked in grease and inedible. I rang to ask where the really polite woman was as I noticed it’s all just males and they said the shop has been sold and in new owners hands. Seriously disappointed lost two good customers :(

Kebab was tasty but salad was slimy and on its way off. Rang them to express my concerns and was met by a rude man who said it was fresh then hung up on me. It was definitely not fresh. I’ll not be using these again!!!
