Nestled in the heart of Northumberland, The Snowy Owl is a charming chain hotel set within a stunning 17th-century property. This delightful spot offers budget-friendly B&B accommodations complete with complimentary WiFi and an inviting pub atmosphere. Many visitors, including those who have returned for over a decade, rave about its warm ambiance and delectable food. Guests often find themselves drawn back to The Snowy Owl for its welcoming staff and relaxing environment—perfect for enjoying dinner or drinks after exploring the area.
We had a lunch table booked for 3 today. They had taken notice of our extra request and accommodated us really well. We all had the fish and chips which came with the best homemade tartar sauce and light fresh fish in perfect batter. Homemade chips were just right. Service was excellent and friendly. Free parking and a historical building full of “snowy owls”! What’s not to like! We will definitely return.

Warm atmosphere, friendly service. Food was disappointing considering the price and reputation. Table behind ours sent theirs back as it was brought out cold. Frozen veg and Yorkshire's, very small portions of meat and all overcooked and tough to chew. Gravy watery and not enough of it. Ordered a scotch egg starter which was very nice. Overall too expensive for an average Sunday lunch. Great parking though.
Largemac — Google review
It's a very nice pub/resteraunt! It's even better when we got a 40% discount from the loyalty App. The lamb skewers and Moroccan chicken were excellent, as was the service. Thanks for a nice lunch.
Marc B — Google review
Me and my partner booked a table to give our parents some special news but was spoilt by the snotty member of staff on arrival. We ordered four meals two roast trio and two normal roasts with extra pigs and blankets . Very disappointed that paying an extra £7.40 for extra meat but receiving the thinest piece of beef and a fatty lump of pork as the extra meat , even the pigs were so pale and under cooked. Even after advising the staff of our plates felt like a waste of complaining as they just brushed it off. Definitely will not be returning from receiving poor service and long waiting times for each of our family members to receive their meals and missing drinks. Feel very disappointed from wanting it to be a special day for our parents but spending a lot of money to get poor value and service.

Racheal gave us brilliant customer service at the Snowy Owl — so friendly and welcoming, especially since I’m not a local and was up visiting my boyfriend. I absolutely loved the decor too — it gave proper cosy vibes, like being by a warm fireplace on a cold day. The fish and chips were delicious, and finishing off with sticky toffee pudding was a treat. I was over the moon to find vegan custard on the menu too — such a lovely surprise! 💕

My girlfriend has severe allergies and finding somewhere out to eat has been very difficult. However, Kirsty made it so simple. She made us feel so comfortable and confident in the food and cooking process. We can not thank her enough for her attentiveness to everything, she answered all questions we had and double checked everything to make sure all was safe. She made us feel so safe there that we have now been back a further 2 times, where she has served us and made us feel so welcomed. Even remembering my girlfriend’s allergies! Thank you so much Kirsty.
Simon C — Google review
What a disappointment. We went for Sunday lunch and this is what we got. We paid around £22 each. For this price you could go to an amazing restaurant and not feel hungry after. The roasties were anemic, the beef was terribly overcooked. Terrible portion sizes, looks like the veg is missing. My Mother In Law found tin toil she almost swallowed. When mentioned to the waitress she just said oh well sorry. Not even that she would pass this on to the chef. Wouldn't return. It's a shame as we have been before and enjoyed an evening meal but I've never felt so ripped off!
Raechel Y — Google review
What a lovely lunch today! We sat to the right, table service. The area was nice and bright, unusual for a pub as they're normally dark. Our server, Rachel, was so lovely, as were all of the staff. Menu had a good choice and the lunch menu for 2 courses was also appreciated. Food arrived quickly, nice and hot, every request taken into account! Needless to say, we all thoroughly enjoyed our food. We shall definitely visit again.

Italian restaurant
Sambuca is a renowned Italian restaurant chain that is soon to open its doors in the charming village of Seaton Burn. The restaurant offers a culinary journey through the flavors of Italy, providing a delightful experience for fans of Italian cuisine. Visitors can expect friendly and helpful staff, generous portions of delicious food, and a variety of options including pasta dishes, potato skins, soup, spaghetti carbonara, carvery with multiple meat choices and vegetables.
Food is always delicious and fast service. Waiters/waitresses always dancing around and it’s just genuinely a good atmosphere, everyone is well mannered. I will say that certain staff members stand and talk bad about other members where people eating can hear, and whilst I love a bit of drama, I don’t fancy hearing it when I’m trying to eat my carbonara. Other than that, it’s a good place to go and eat. Would definitely recommend!!!
Jess — Google review
Some of the best pizzas I have ever had. The venue is big and good for romantic meals and groups. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. Being a branch of Sambuca the quality of food is good and consistent. The costs are reasonable too.
Hilton R — Google review
First time at a Sambuca. Stood waiting to be seated for about 10 minutes even though not that busy. Mainly due to staff members just standing chatting at bar. If they had just acknowledged we were waiting and that someone would be with us shortly, that would have been fine. They could see us looking at them but just carried on chatting. They were at the bar chatting for most of the hour we were there. Very noisy music as well. Definately not a relaxing place to have a meal. The food was lovely, very tasty. However, I won't be back as customer service is terrible.
Jane H — Google review
What a wonderful place! The food was delicious, the staff are friendly & fantastic, the atmospher was great. Had a meal out with family, the food was well presented and plenty of it, we had starters, main courses & desserts all of them were lovely. Can not fault Sambuca at Cramlington at all, nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to my next visit!
Denise H — Google review
So great! Waitress was so lovely and on it, didn’t catch her name but she had brown hair in a bun. Will definitely be back.

Amazing food, great service and a great experience had by all in the party. Staff are absolutely excellent and a credit to the company with no job too small, My an 18th Birthday an amazing experience for all.
Jevon S — Google review
Recently attended. We were a walk in and absolutely no problems having a table. Restaurant was busy ish but comfortable, certainly not too busy where you couldn't hear yourself think. Few birthdays on the night and everyone encouraged to participate which i think is a nice touch. Food is excellent especially the king prawn starter and the sea bass main course. Then finished with a delightful biscoff sundae. Meal for two (3 course) with two cocktails each and beer for less than £90 is excellent value and food was excellent
Kevin J — Google review
First time trying this restaurant, had heard both good and bad about it, but to be perfectly honest we had a lovely meal today, staff were very friendly and helpful, quick service with a smile.Only reason for the 4 stars was I ordered chicken Kiev, the chicken was delicious but missing a valuable ingredient (garlic), which totally makes the dish, otherwise vert tasty, my husband went for a fillet steak and said it tasted divine, too marks for that. We definitely will return to enjoy the food again Thank you to the staff especially Liam who was a star.

Steak house
Bar & grill
Breakfast restaurant
Moor Farm Beefeater is a pub-style chain known for its grilled meats and international favorites like fajitas. The 10oz ribeye steak, aged for at least 30 days, is a popular choice, served with triple cooked chips, flat mushroom, grilled tomatoes, and peppercorn sauce. Visitors appreciate the attentive service, with one mentioning the quick seating and efficient waitress who even entertained a young child while taking orders.
We dine on a monthly basics. Always quality meal, the rump steak is brilliant can never have enough of the triple cooked chips. Staff are always very friendly.
Drybs84 — Google review
I was staying in the Premier next door and had received multiple emails informing me that the pub was shut. Upon arrival, I was pleased to find that it was not! A work colleague and I had an early evening meal and ended up staying until closing. We then returned for a late lunch the following day. The food is standard pub-grub. It's reasonably priced. The service however was excellent. The staff were lovely. If however the management read this, you really need to sort out the music. There are 4 songs played on a loop. I now know each of them word for word!
Catt 3 — Google review
Fantastic service tonight from Lewis S. He was very attentive and for the first time ever in a restaurant I was asked if I wanted a free refill before having to ask/go get it myself! Food was very decent, ribs were a highlight. I thought the broccoli in my veg side was a bit tough but the meat was great.
Jph 7 — Google review
Nice clean environment, staff are very friendly and efficient. Food was tasty and beer was good. What more do you need.
DB R — Google review
Large pub next to a premier inn. Very spacious and tasteful. The staff I encountered were all friendly and keen to ensure that we had a pleasant meal. Beefeater was keen to promote some enticing food offers, but drinks prices are still quite high. The food itself was delicious and to a good standard.
Debbie — Google review
Excellent food and staff. This Restaurant/pub is definitely open! But It is no longer a Beefeater Restaurant, and is in the process of been taken over. I can't highly recommend the syeak and ale pie, plenty of meat, it was delicious.Plenty of parking.
David M — Google review
Friendly staff recently been rebranded/changed ownership, hopefully will improve but on basis of my meal last night I could not recommend . Service was fine, friendly and helpful staff, decor inside and out work in progress?? Three of us ate, 2 of us had steak, one a curry, I had a steak which unfortunately had a large amount of sinew/ gristle, although was cooked how I requested. The curry was apparently ok and the other steak was much better than mine. With little or no gristle so I may have just been unlucky, but I'm sure the gristle in mine would have been obvious prior to cooking.
Mike D — Google review
Stayed at the Premier Inn next door. Used the Beefeater for evening meal. Standard set up, clean with plenty of space. Fairly quiet. Service from James was excellent. Polite, efficient and with a genuine smile 😁 Good value food and the cocktail deal was well worth taking advantage of 👍 perfect for an overnight stay on our travels.

Lal Qila is a popular restaurant known for its lovely food and good selection, making it a regular spot for many visitors. While the service can be inconsistent at times, the overall experience is enjoyable. The limited drink selection, especially by the glass, may require purchasing a full bottle. The parking situation is also limited, with an alternative option to park in Sainsburys. The restaurant has maintained its excellent service and overall very good food over time.
Fantastic independently run Indian restaurant. Been coming here weekly for decades and always had top class service and quality of food. Highly recommended.
Ken S — Google review
We had such a wonderful experience at Lal Qila. The mix starter was absolutely amazing and a great way to begin the meal. The curries were full of rich authentic flavour – a special mention to the King Prawns Curry and the Chef’s Special Shatkora Lamb, both cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself has a fantastic atmosphere, with a modern interior that’s spotless, spacious and very well maintained. A big shout-out to the amazing staff, who went above and beyond to take care of us throughout the evening. Their warm service really made the experience extra special. Definitely a place I’d recommend and will visit again!
MANU N — Google review
Food was good however service was poor and unfriendly and we will not be returning. We arrived a bit early so we could sit in the reception area and have a drink before sitting at our table however we were refused this and quickly ushered to our table . We asked if we could have an extra mango instead of the onion dip but this was also declined saying it was a ‘set’ condiment . Ordered drinks however my shandy was a pint instead of 1/2 pint and my wife’s small bottle of Prosecco was plonked on the table unopened - in other restaurants this would be opened and poured in a glass in a courteous and professional manner. After eating our condiments a waiter arrived to clear our plates and cutlery however when I tried to hand him my used fork he just snatched it away from me . A waiter noticed my wife had just finished eating her main and asked if he could take her plate away to which she replied yes and although I had not said I had finished my main he assumed I had and took it away anyway ! We asked for some tap water and the waiter seemed annoyed and asked ‘for the both of you ?’ When we finally asked for the bill we were informed that the we could not pay by card as their machine was not working so we had to pay by cash or bank transfer . All in all it was not a pleasant experience and will not be returning .

While visiting our friends in Cramlington we decided to eat here and so glad we did, it was so nice and can honestly say the best l had ever tasted, from 1st walking in we were not disappointed and the staff were very nice and welcoming 😊 we will be back for sure thankyiu x

Lovely staff, and pleasant restaurant...But the food is not nice!!! £70 Spend...they can't even get the Raitha sauce right, what was served at king prawns? I've no idea, the garlic Naan was nice, but the rest was uneatable...2/10 When we're asked if the food was OK,and we both gave a honest opinion, we were verbally attacked by 3 staff members, trading Standards is getting a call from me. Go across the street to the Chinese restaurant, the food quality is superb 👌
Sarah W — Google review
Great restaurant! The food is excellent – full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The service is fantastic too; the staff are warm, attentive, and always make us feel so welcome. The atmosphere is lovely, creating the perfect setting to relaxing and enjoying a meal. A truly excellent place that we'd highly recommend to anyone looking for great Indian food.
TM — Google review
Visited here for the Thursday special, 5 courses for £18.95. The food was really good and the staff were friendly and attentive. There was a little wait for the food but that was to be expected as it was really busy. If I’m being really picky there was a waft of an air freshener smell every now and then, this is not necessarily a bad thing but I do like the the spicy curry smell of an Indian restaurant and would rather smell that than an air freshener. We did get a free shot of Baileys so all was good.
Dale F — Google review
We have enjoyed eating at Lal Qila for over thirty years!! We always receive a very warm, friendly welcome and feel like we are family😀. The food is fabulous, my favourite at the moment are the garlic tandoori king prawns. Cooked to perfection and served on a sizzling bed of onions. The staff are extremely friendly, attentive and go above and beyond to ensure we always enjoy our dining experience. Lal Qila host charity nights to raise money for Friends of Sylhet in Bangladesh and also support local charities in their fundraising activities. The “specials night” is always popular on a Thursday and they also have a great takeaway offer on a Sunday. You order two main meals and get a third one for free! If you haven’t tried this restaurant please book a table or try a take away, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!!

Really enjoyed my first time eating here. Highly recommend to others and will definatley be coming back. Excellent service and the food quality was brilliant. Had the Duck to start and Honey Chilli Chicken as a main. Both bursting with flavour and went down a treat. Partner enjoyed a house special stir-fry. Barely any wait between taking order and food getting served. Bang for bucks beats any Chinese Takeaway.

Long menu with interesting choices. Plenty of food, and wine list great. We had spare ribs with plum sauce, spring rolls, duck with red curry, Thai green curry, mixed veg. All fresh tasting, veg crunchy. Excellent.

Our family is so happy with the food Mandarin Bay is making that it became somewhat of an addiction to it. Tried almost everything from the menu and can't find fault in anything really. Every meal is done by the highest standards by the taste of it. Staff is polite and greet me with the smile every time I collect the food, everything is done is perfect timing too so enjoyment is guaranteed. Looking forward to our next takeaway. Thank you guys from Mandarin Bay.

Panuccis in Cramlington is a family-run restaurant that offers a variety of Mediterranean dishes, including stone-baked pizza, pasta, and steak. The place is known for its friendly staff and attractive food presentation. It's a popular choice among locals and visitors alike. Additionally, the restaurant hosts charity nights and special deals on certain days of the week. If you're in the mood for Indian cuisine, Dhamaka is recommended for its upmarket Indian food with special Bengal dishes.
Wonderful food and fantastic service - what more can you possibly ask for? Oh I know, it’s also great value for money. This place is a true gem, it can’t be faulted.
Anne S — Google review
Nice atmosphere and attentive staff. Pasta was nice but of average quality you'd expect in a place like this. The food is on the overpriced side based on quality and quantity. The mid-week special menu offers a good deal but is not applicable to takeout customers...l didn't learn this until I was asked to pay - an extra few quid makes no real difference but I felt it was poor form and deceitful. It also wasn't mentioned anywhere on the menu itself - this was an unpleasant surprise when the bill arrived. I definitely wouldn't return - l'd rather pay more for better quality elsewhere.

Fantastic family business. The food choices were amazing and the atmosphere, service and cleanliness impeccable. We came at 5pm and were greated with a warm welcome. Drinks taken promptly. Then shortly after the food order. Omg what a choice. But everything we ordered was amazing. We had starters, mains and pudding. And a party of 4 for just over £20 per head can't be bad. The place was packed as we left, and no surprise. Amazing guys well done

Great little chain pub. Good parking and lovely service. Went for food and it never lets you down . All steaks and grill food is amazing well done chef. Prices are good and portions just right.

Food took 40 minutes and then arrived cold. Front of house couldn’t do enough and looked after our order making sure it was ready cooked. It’s not as if the place was busy either.
Ian P — Google review
Wouldn’t recommend at all. Horrible food, and arrogant staff. I could ignore the standard of food if the staff weren’t so rude. After all, it’s a pub not a 5 star restaurant. The staff have this weird urge to provoke confrontation with customers by creating problems that weren’t there in the first place. They pick and choose their favourite customers and give them special treatment while doing things like refusing to serve customers who they take a disliking to for absolutely no reason. A very strange, surreal atmosphere to be in. I would almost go as far to say, toxic.
TheDefJamm — Google review
The waiter walks up to our table to announce (at 8:57 p.m.) that our children have to be out of the restaurant in three (3) minutes due to liquor licensing laws... nothing posted, nothing about it on the menus, and nothing mentioned by the staff in the previous trips to our table. As an international traveler, I was not aware of this policy. I'll not be returning to the Brockwell Seam, and would advise others to seek a better, more welcoming dining experience elsewhere.
Charles H — Google review
Popped in for a quick bite to eat, chicken tikka was nice came with rice, poppadom and a naan bread, the chopped salad was very tasty, had a lovely fresh dressing in it and was topped with a very large piece of tasty salmon.

Well considering I’m a silver haired old bugger. I would say it was more a silver day all around. It was nice and pleasant I just wanted to sit and have my food nice and hot and nice and relaxed so it was champion. Usually go to the Bay Horse but they’re getting done up. Same company so happy days. But probably stick to the Brockwell Seam though
Steve C — Google review
Absolutely disgusting food. We ordered a chicken dinner and three rump steaks. We asked for two steaks to be rare and one medium rare. All three were well above medium rare and all were very very chewy and full of fat. The skilllet that the steaks came on had previous burnt food on (the mushrooms were stuck to it). The missus had the chicken dinner. Her Yorkshire pudding was brick hard and said that is was cold. We would have complained but there was no one around, not the usual "is everything okay with your meal". £75 wasted. The toilet stunk as well. PLEASE AVOID!!!!!!

Manager defo in the wrong line of business. On my own, killing time until i met up witb friends. I ordered a cider and my card pyt failed. Tapped again and tried to get the bar maids attention, as no one came back to me I took my drink outside. Manager then came and told me my drink had not been paid for. I told him I'm shouted for the barmaid. He said shouting "at" staff is no way to get served. I tried to explain that I didn't shout at her but for her to check. He accused me of being aggressive. Told me to drink my drink and then leave. No need for me to ever go back there 🤬🤬🤬

Hate leaving bad reviews but Ordered a vegan burger and fries and despite it clearly saying vegan they put bacon and chicken in the box not sure if it was a genuine accident but can’t leave a good review for that - do not order if veggie Update on this review - they said someone would be in touch - no one was so the issue was never resolved

It was lovely sitting outside in the sunshine with a lovely drink. Excellent prices. Only shame was the number of smokers in the same space

My server Tori was kind, attentive and gave 110% service. She check on me a few times to make sure I was enjoying the food and service, I’ll come back again and hopefully she’ll be serving me! Atmosphere is really nice, it was a bit quieter than the other pubs in the area but I was very happy about that! Pub was clean and looked after and the food was good, would recommend here!

This is a great little pub in Cramlington village. It has a large outdoor seating area at the front of the pub which is ideal for breakfast. The breakfasts are very reasonably priced and delicious. There is a massive beer garden at the rear which often has live entertainment. I would highly recommend this pub.

Decided to give this restaurant a try after receiving a leaflet. Ordered myself and my partner the set meal for 2, absolutely delicious food full of flavour, delivery was quick and the chips were cooked to perfection!! Will definitely be ordering again, new favourite Indian takeaway! Thank you

First time customer. The most tastiest Indian food I've had. Will definitely order again. But I did have to ping in microwave as it was only warm. But this will not put me off. Delicious.

Received a leaflet menu from Red Naga and decided to order. Very good website, easy to negotiate. Food came on time. My saag curry which was advertised as medium hot was mild but delicious. The lamb was tender. All three of us enjoyed our meals. Will definitely be ordering again.

Definitely the best Indian takeaway in the area. The food is amazing. Its quite expensive, however if you order on a Thursday you get 6 courses for just £12.50 and its loads of food! It ends up being almost half price compared to other days of the week.

Brockwell Fish & Chips is a beloved local gem that stands out in the bustling world of fish and chip shops. Known for its generous portions, this spot serves up large pieces of fish encased in perfectly crispy batter, accompanied by an abundance of chips that are sure to satisfy any appetite. Even during busy times, the staff maintain a cheerful demeanor and provide excellent service, ensuring your experience is enjoyable from start to finish.
I have gone all over the north east for fish and chips. Trying all those places that people swear up and down are the best. Everytime I do I think yeah these are good but they are not expectional. The only reason this is, is because Brockwell is my local chippy. When your local has fantastic chips and incredible fish it's hard to find anywhere else all that special. Will always highly recommend Brockwell a geneiuly stand out chip shop.
Zee H — Google review
Not quite sure what's going on here. We have used this chippy for years and have always been happy with it. But went a couple of weeks ago and noticed that instead of the board saying cod or haddock it just said 'fish' and 'fish bites'. Bought 'fish' and chips. Found the fish very dry and tasteless. I don't think.it was cod and it definitely wasn't haddock. If they were serving cod then they would surely make sure the menu said so. We will probably try them again but this time if it just says 'fish' I will ask them what fish it is. After all you wouldn't go to a restaurant and buy a meal that just said 'meat'. Just read owners response. Sorry don't know your name but I don't think your living under a rock comment was necessary. Surprising as it may seem I don't study wholesale fish prices and in any case I never even mentioned price. I was commenting on your menu board only saying 'fish'. Your reason for this is a bit limp. It's hardly an onerous task to write cod or haddock on a blackboard. All the other chippies I've been too seem to manage it. More relevantly the most important part of my review was the quality of the fish. It was dry and tasteless, whatever kind it was. Despite your lengthy response you didn't address that. I thought your response was a bit snarky to be honest. Not a very professional response to a review based on a customers experience especially as I started by saying we had been regular customers and I even recommended some of your menu items.

Visited this place as we were travelling home. Very hungry. Very busy but hunger allows you to wait. Finally got to counter. Ordered kebab wrap with chips and garlic. Tried to pay with card but problems with transaction. Apparently notice on door which I missed ( may have to pay cash as issues with card reader). Anyway next customer which was my daughter she ordered wraps with chicken kebab sald and chips twice. Like myself waited at side. Have to say I got mine and waited in car for daughter. Almost 30 mins later she came out. Don't believe the assistant had taken another order while daughter stood there and gave customer daughters order. Hence wait. At last home starving. I'm afraid the food wasn't worth the wait. Very greasy very little garlic and chips soggy off grease. Daughters chicken wasn't proper chicken and soggy also. We won't be returning. Used to be a lovely fish chip shop but I'm afraid standards have dropped and your staff need educating on customer service
Rita W — Google review
A huge box of delicious fish and chips awaits you so it doesn't get soggy. Very large fish with crispy batter and too many chips to eat (never too many) Try them!!

Probably the worst fish i have had , i asked what type of fish was on the menu as they just had fish written , i was told it was haddock , paid 10 pound for haddock and curry sauce , it had to be the driest chewy piece of fish i have had.

Still the best in Cramlington....Ordered a take away last night, food was piping hot and really flavourful. This is by far cramlingtons best Indian takeaway and resturant. Others are a long way behind.

Horrendous service, on 3 or 4 occasions now they have simply forgotten my order, or taken 2 hrs to deliver, despite the website saying 45-60mins when ordered! They then claim it's out for delivery and will be about 10-15mins, it won't be as they have forgotten it, they then try and cook it and deliver it to you, so another 30mins at least, so you're wait is 2 hrs (last time I ordered at 7pm, they tried to deliver it just before 9pm despite me calling and cancelling after being told the old classic "out with the deiver, wait the 15 mins" after I had waited 1.5hrs already and it didn't show up! Honestly, the food is pretty good but who needs the hassle of wondering if they'll actually turn up with your order!? Red Naga if you like spicier curries, Lal Qila for less spice and collection only, don't bother with these, never again....and I WAS a regular customer!
Allan W — Google review
A leaflet came through the door so we decided to give them a go Rang at 5.22 and didn't receive our food until 6.58. When I rang to check where the order was as it had been an hour we got told 10/15mins, it took longer than that. When the food arrived the driver apologised and we got told that he had been sent on 4 orders in opposite directions. The curry itself was lovely but the chips, rice, naan bread was cold. Terribly disappointed.

Nando's Cramlington is an Afro-Portuguese chain restaurant known for its flame-grilled chicken in spicy chili sauce. It is a popular choice for families and groups, offering a cheap and cheerful dining experience. Customers have praised the polite and efficient staff, with special mention of exceptional service from individuals like Lewis. Despite busy periods, the restaurant maintains cleanliness and delivers orders promptly, making it a standout Nando's location.
Came in with my assistance dog tonight and had such a lovely experience. The lady who served us (I think she might have been the manager/someone higher up) was so kind and welcoming, didn’t even bat an eyelid about my dog. She offered to bring us drinks and cutlery and was just really attentive and friendly. The food was great, but honestly the service made it. I really wanted to get her name to thank her personally, but I was too nervous to ask at the time. She’ll know who she is, she honestly made our night and made me feel comfortable and not different. Thank you!
Eva M — Google review
Easy to order via the website (I don't have the app but it's also an option) and service was quick. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Pretty quiet on my visit. Fairly limited beer selection available but you don't go to Nandos for the beer. The beer geek in me would like a slightly better craft offering...
Daniel M — Google review
Went with my grandson who loves this place but it turns out that it's like marmite you either love it or hate it! I found the restaurant dull and lacking in atmosphere. It's hard to score the service as ordering and paying is via an app and you have to get your own cutlery , sauces and drinks all the staff do is cook it and bring it your the table! The sauces were great and the starters were OK but the chicken and chips with spicy rice main course wasn't startling and at £14:95 it was quite pricey.
John G — Google review
We come here now and then as a treat, but our last few visits haven’t been great. I have no issues with staff they are always great but last few visits the cutlery and plates have been dirty I’d accept a one off situation but this has been on more than one occasion. The chicken was also very overcooked and dry not enjoyable when you’re paying the prices that Nando’s charge. Manager needs to put some care and attention into the restaurant to take it back to the Nando’s we used to love.
Leighanne N — Google review
Staff are always so friendly and welcoming , the service is always so quick and normally get our food within ten minutes of ordering , food is always hot and made to a high standard

Seated easily on the weekend. Ordered through the website and the drinks arrived instantly. Service really good. Usual Nando’s standard. We tried the warm chocolate pud for the first time and it was divine!

Nando is such a lovely place to dine with friends and family. The food is affordable, lot of variety. The atmosphere is calm and cozy. I love the interior, it has an African theme to it. The staff is also friendly. I had a nice time with my wife and Sister in law.
Segun ( — Google review
The restaurant lives up to the Nando's name. I can't complain about the food, it was good. Service time average and staff are friendly. The restaurant has a modern stylish look. Could be cleaner :( The dining area hand wash soap is empty and the sink is dirty. There is an extra soap and that is also empty. I wonder how often they are checking it. All together it's a good place.

We used to go to pronta pizza next door but thought might as well give Miahs kitchen a go. Don’t think we be going back to pronta pizza anytime soon.

There isn’t a better spot for Indian food in the area. It’s my go to, but also if you fancy a normal pizza, they don’t use the pre made poor quality bases, it’s clearly fresh and for a place to do both Indian food and pizza so well, it’s very rare. I always get the chicken tikka biryani which is fresh and is a huge portion enough for 2. I have also started getting the margarita pizza also and dip it into the sauce. The result? The best meal I’ve ever had from this type of cuisine. It’s unorthodox but the fresh and delicious food keeps my coming back. 5/5 would recommend.

If you're in Cramlington and craving some delicious Chinese cuisine, look no further than Klondyke Chinese Takeaway. While they don't have a set menu available, the options are plentiful, with nearby alternatives like Greggs Plc offering tempting treats such as Wrap Platters and Sweet Mince Pies. Diners rave about the chow mein here, especially when paired with their hot and spicy sauce—it's a must-try!
This has been our first choice of take away for a few years and there are quite a few in cramlington and the surrounding areas to choose from. We've never had a bad meal from here and the staff are lovely. We split between getting orders delivered or collected, on only 1 occasion did we wait a while for delivery but they were exceptionally busy at the time. This place used to be great, the sauces were really thick and tasty but lately they have been tasteless and very watery. A member of the family used to like the bean curd dishes but the last few times it has been mushy and tasteless, it used to be firm and crispy. A few times items have been missing from our order.

Visitors can enjoy a lively environment with music and pool tournaments while appreciating friendly service.
Awesome little place me and my wife went in today and had a couple of games of pool. Nice atmosphere and staff were great. and newly redecorated looks really good. Only downside is they don't do food but still had fun

Always come in for a drink or a game of pool with a few mates, staff are always friendly and enjoy a good chinwag, dogs are always welcome with treats on the bar and water available upon request. We had a small gender reveal for our bundle of joy due in December in the function room upstairs and the size was absolutely perfect for the amount of people we invited. We recommend this pub to all of our mates all of the time and they always say how glad they are we introduced them to it!

I've been going to The Lord of the Manor since it first opened as The Pheonix , When the outside retail area of Manor Walks was built , the pub lost out on footfall, and it was never the same handed for manager to manager , went into a bit of disrepair, no soul . NOW after an overhaul and change of bar position and toilets, etc, revamped . What a change , the atmosphere has uplifted , the bar staff seem happier in their jobs , the quality of the tap and optics has greatly improved as have the choice of drinks both soft and alcoholic. We were in Thursday the place was nicely busy, music loud to be heard but not too loud you can't have conversation also there was a pool tournament on .

Since the revamp, this bar has a much friendlier atmosphere and vibe. Bar staff are fab, especially Lexi.

Absolutely love the food here, staff very friendly and well mannered. Always cook my bacon exactly how I ask for it. Love the tuna paninis and all of the sandwich fillings, too many to mention!
Gemma — Google review
Have eaten sandwiches from here a few times. The sandwiches are made in front of you. They also sell what I believe to be home made pies, quiche and cakes. The shop appears clean and tidy and the staff are usually friendly. Their breakfast in a stottie are tasty and reasonably priced. So to were the cold sandwiches I've tried (cheese savoury, prawn). I was very disappointed by their meatball sandwich however. I was expecting a hot and tasty sandwich filled with meatballs. I got a cold, tasteless sandwich with four very small meatballs. I'll continue to return for breakfast though.

Have autism both me and my son ..I also have a walikng frame ..several weeks ago got verbally abused and laughed at by customers due to a comment I made i am neuro diverse and the whole pub laughted at me making me feel so bad and it upset me and my son who is also neuro diverse.. even reported it to staff..but stayed away for 8 weeks. As no one needs this with or without disabilities. Then 6 / 8 took my dog with us ..we left first ..a man then followed with his dog ..who had previously said didn't like other dogs so we stayed away ..on exiting this man let his dog off the lead ..extention..to full max we had our dog on a short locked leash as she is assisted dog and trained .. but he didn't.. knowing his dog was not friendly with other dogs .suddenly what looked like a friendly dog went south ...his dog attacked ours he purposly let his off the leash and gave it the full run ..at ours .but ours got the better and defended herself and her carer .. he then took a boot at our assisted dog which had a large black and white harness with large lettering on stating assisted dog ..Not to mention that he was part of the same group reported several weeks ago .. who caused concern ..so reported to 101.. and tried to ring pub 8 times each time no one answered poor customer service and feels like they don't like disabled people e mail them to date but seams like they let regulars abuse anyone that has a disabilities. McDonald's is a well-established fast-food chain recognized for its classic burgers and fries. In some locations, it offers free soft play areas for kids, making it a popular choice for families looking for budget-friendly entertainment options. While the food and staff are generally praised, there have been concerns about parking management at certain outlets. However, standout customer service experiences from employees like Julie demonstrate the brand's commitment to exceptional service.
I ordered food ag the drive thru. My order was a medium big mac meal with a coke zero, a double cheeseburger, and medium fries. The order came without any fries. I asked the lady serving and she asked me to repeat what I ordered. I did this several times. The order was returned and I drove off. I should have checked the bag again but I didn't. When K arrived home I found only one portion of fries and a diet coke not a coke zero. I can't stomach diet coke. Not sure I'll bother with that drive thru again.
Verity O — Google review
Drive thru. Had a long wait for food but got an apology. Got home, very disappointed. All the food was barely warm and the chips had far too much salt on. I would think better to not salt the chips especially when young children are having them. The coffee wasn't even warm. It was quite a big order so really didn't enjoy it. Waste of money.
Gillian F — Google review
It’s McDonald’s – the experience really hinges on how freshly cooked your burger or nuggets are. I had a fairly normal wait time for food, nothing outrageous. The usual gauntlet of food delivery drivers was in full swing – all shouting into their phones, giving off serious “don’t look at me” vibes while I waited for my number to be called. I was 351. They were only on 345. Christ. More drivers rolled in, each with those grubby, worn-out Just Eat bags that look like they’ve seen the trenches. Made me quietly thankful I wasn’t getting my food from one of those. Anyway, number 351 at last. Chips? Decent enough. Burger? Dry – like “desert-dry.” Nuggets? Tepid at best. But hey – at least I didn’t have to watch my food disappear into one of those delivery bags. Small wins

First time today. Called in for a lunchtime and ordered a chip butty with gravy. The staff were lovely and the lady who served me gave me my bun in a separate bag as to not get soggy with the gravy which I appreciated as not many do that. Food was lovely. Fresh and hot. Good price too. Nice seating area outside. As I was getting served another customer ordered fish and chips and it looked lovely so will deffo try that next. Defo go again and recommend. Well done. Thank you.

Don’t usually post reviews but I ordered 3 cod bites and regular chips today. Looks like they gave me a small portion of chips and I suspect it’s because I only ordered 3 cod bites so it came in a smaller box. If this is supposed to be a normal size portion of chips then I would hate to think what a small portion is. Otherwise absolute fraudsters charging for a normal price of chips and giving a small portion. Suggest people check the portion size before they leave.
Rob — Google review
Late in from work so decided on takeaway at 7pm (bearing in mind shop doesn't close until 9pm on a Sunday) Ordered 2 large fish at £9.90 each couldn't get tray of kebab meat as there was enough for the 1 customer that had ordered and then they were cleaning so no time to cook another so ordered 2 jumbo sausages and chips for my son. Guaranteed fish and sausages cooked fresh, total was £29.40 Then further ordered large curry sauce and small mushy peas, the size of the large pot is what used to be the small so you can imagine my shock at the minimal mushy peas got the young girl to add another large curry sauce so further £6.00 for the 3 items Came home tired from work starving opened the box to find a large fish the size of a goldfish 🐠 the chips weren't freshly cooked and all stuck together in a lump and sausages were overcooked so he never ate any of it, plus side 3 happy dogs and 3 very unhappy family members. Ended up having to have cheese on toast just to fill up from the extremely tiny apparently large fish!! Used to use this chippy all the time but definitely won't be coming back with the prices and the experience. Have to say the young girl who served me was very polite so well done to her. My advice to the owners takeaways especially fish is a treat to families these days atleast give us something for our hard earned cash that's big enough and edible but for portion size etc definitely not worth the total of £35.40 I feel utterly cheated.
Samantha H — Google review
Joke! What an absolute joke this portion size of chips is, £3.20 for a handful of chips!! Shocking! They were nice but a total rip off for the amount in the bag.

Ordered a veg burger at 5.50, requested chilli sauce as a add on....Took it back home, was only a patty with chilli sauce ,no salad , nothing else, when challenged upon my return, stated salad is extra....No apology or communication about the possible lack of communication, actually laughed at my request. Joke shop, ...Took me 5 minutes to get served without any customers inside,

No idea whats going on with these dodgy reviews! Cane here while staying in the premier inn and after reading the repies to reviews! Had me in stitches! Haggis was perfect Sausage was the best i had, (how can a cippy sausage be so different!) Curry was very good, chips, well they were hot and i got way to many! Chilli sause is fresh and very tasty! Just to get a funny responce i will say the older woman serving people was stone faced and mega grumpy but she was just leaving when i arrived, the rest of the staff were all polite and efficient. Deffinatly give it a go.

McDonald's is a beloved fast-food institution that has been serving up delicious burgers and crispy fries for years. At the MoorFarm location, which operates around the clock, you can expect a vibrant atmosphere, especially during late-night hours when it tends to get busy. While the service can sometimes be slow due to limited staff at night, the cleanliness of this McDonald's stands out as one of its best features.
It's one of the cleanest McDonald's I have ever been in. Great banter with the chap outside jet washing. Good bacon 🥓 bun with just enough tomato 🍅 sauce. Plus, bonus a receipt. And a Lotus in the drive-through. Is that possible to reach from the floor to the hatch... 😂😂😂

Literally one of the slowest McDonalds around. It takes the staff ages to do anything and you wait for 7 minutes stationary even when there’s only 2 cars in the queue…. I would highly recommend McDonalds Silverlink over this branch. On the plus side however, the food is always hot!
Anthony L — Google review
Fastest food eva! Ordered off the touch screen and the food was straight on the counter. It wasn’t the food I ordered and had the wrong order number on. Other than that I ate it and it was delicious. Surprised how fast it was. 5 stars

Nighttime visit. Asked to park whilst food was being prepared, then forgotten about so food arrived cool. Day staff are great. Night crew always behave as if it's somebody else's problem. Gone right downhill. Clearly the staff are not supported by management any more.
Mamma G — Google review
MoorFarm is open 24 hours though the only downside is service I can give staff 5 stars but unless you're paying cash or your planning on ordering via the app or using the in-store touch screens you have to wait a fair while problem is the till area and counter is not permanently staffed especially during night time where this place can get quite busy with it being a 24 hour open policy sometimes you have to end up calling a staff member over or just stand and hope they notice you again this is if your paying cash otherwise it's a perfect place for them who are out late night/early morning.
Dawn K — Google review

Fish and chips takeaway
Fast food restaurant
High Pit Fish & Grill has garnered a variety of feedback from patrons regarding their takeaway and delivery options. This establishment stands out as the first fish and chips spot I've visited that offers King Rib on the menu, showcasing an authentic Scottish frying technique for all their battered delights. While it's unfortunate that Deep Fried Mars Bars are no longer available, the food remains delicious. A suggestion from customers is to consider opening a branch in Deleval!
Food has been piping hot and delicious on each order. Delivery takes roughly 1hr 30mins rather than the 60 mins stated so order earlier. Delivery drivers are always friendly and polite. The med mixed wrap and the pineapple rings are the best items on the menu. I won't go anywhere else.

You wouldn’t think scooping some kebab meat and chips into a bit of paper takes 20 minutes but the staff here will surprise you. They won’t smile or apologise for your inexplicable massive wait though.
Chris L — Google review
This is the first chippy, who actually have King Rib on the menu. Or I better rephrase that, it's the first chippy I've tried, where food is fried in the way All Scottish chippy's cook their food. Anything you want battered, and fried, is on the menu. Unfortunately, Deep Fried Mars Bars, has been taken off though. Still good though. Open a branch in Deleval, please.

Food was lush. Young lad who served us was kind, despite his boss who screamed at him and talked down to him the entire time we waited. This was all because he had given my order to another customer who had the same order (not the end of the world). I said i didnt mind and it was absolutely fine, but that poor lad did not need to be spoken to that way. Do better!

I ordered a kebab wrap. The man behind the till was so lovely. HOWEVER the following 2 days I had food poisoning SO BADLY that I couldn’t keep any water or food down what so ever, for 2 days!! I was vomitting for a solid 48 hours and I had a bad stomach for a week in total. I had to keep eating Greek yoghurt with probiotics to soothe it. There isn’t a chance that the food poisoning could have came from anywhere else as I tend to live off of batched cooked meals that I make myself and freeze and they’re always fresh and healthy. I will never buy anything from this place again as I was so poorly

Customers appreciate the easy online ordering process, which resolves any confusion quickly. The pizzas boast a fantastic base and reheat well, although some toppings may be on the lighter side. Never going here again, ordered collection which said ready to collect at 8:25pm, arrive for 8:30, got told it would be made soon (even though on the app it said it had been ready for 5 minutes???). Half an hour later, no one has said anything. Finally just after half an hour someone asks what my order was after I’ve clearly been waiting there half an hour. They knew I was waiting, yet did not think to maybe let me know my order hadn’t been put in?? Or even occur to think to make my order immediately after they realised it hadn’t been put in??!! It took another 20 minutes after they realised it hadn’t been put in for them to actually start making it (bearing in mind my order consisted of cookies and a milkshake, not exactly 10 pizzas) Ridiculous service. Stay AWAY
K A — Google review
I was put off before I even started the food. Could see the delivery drivers stains on his clothing on the ring doorbell. Surely management should be checking delivery drivers if they look unclean and are delivering food to peoples homes. Food was standard, not sure if I had been put off already so couldn’t enjoy it.

some confusion about placing the order, which was promptly resolved over the online chat. excellent to have a dairy-free/vegan option. got a good deal. both pizzas (dairy and not dairy) were tasty and reheated well. great base. slightly oily so suspect the garlic topping is a flavoured oil, might skip this next time. was able to swap toppings free of charge, ideal given the obsession with onion. toppings overall were slightly on the scant side, particularly on one pizza. the vegan cheesy garlic bread was AMAZING. (it's the sort of thing that you want to tell people about rather than actually share ;)). prompt delivery, arrived earlier than expected. only bonus would be more detailed allergy information, for example if nut or soya oil are used in the cooking process or what's used in the bases etc. this would make ordering even more reassuring and make us more likely to reorder and recommend to others. :)
Littlelune — Google review
I've ordered from Pronta a few times over the past few years. The food is great, don't get me wrong, but it's significantly more expensive in comparison to many other takeaways in the area. That's the reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5. However, the desserts are amazing! Trust me, get the cookies if you decide to order. I call it the Domino's of Cramlington (but defiantly better pizza), perfect for a special treat but definitely not your everyday place. I can't comment on delivery directly as I've always collected my order or used Just Eat. Just Eat can be hit or miss when it comes to delivery timings, but that's no fault of Pronta
Molly E — Google review
Asked for topping to the edge and they seem to take topping off ya pizza. I ordered the meats, with jalapeños. Which I was charged q extra £1. But ended up with hardly any sausage and any spicy beef. Subway is a popular casual dining spot that specializes in customizable sandwiches and salads, catering to those who prioritize health-conscious eating. With a focus on fresh ingredients, patrons can create their perfect meal by choosing from an array of toppings and bread options. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty sub or a light salad, Subway offers something for everyone looking to enjoy a quick yet satisfying bite. It's an ideal choice for those seeking nutritious meals without sacrificing flavor!
Subway is a sandwich shop where chaos meets flavor. I tried the “poisonous gay sandwich”—a neon, glittery, outrageously spicy creation that’s as daring as it is delicious. Every bite is a thrill, made all the more intense by the rabid dogs behind the counter, who bark orders and aggressively wag their tails as if judging your sandwich choices. The staff seem to take pride in tempting you toward culinary danger, but the canine overseers ensure that no bite goes unchallenged. The restaurant sits at a sweltering 57°C and the sandwiches somehow manage to come to come out with icicles protruding from the bulls tongue contained within the bread. Will come again

First and last time in the place. Order via terminals that take longer to do than just letting them know what you want on your sandwich. Took about 10 minutes for the order to be completed even though the place wasn’t busy. The self serve terminal didn’t print our receipt out. Told the girl behind the counter and all she said was “ yeah is broke “ maybe a sign saying it’s not working or turn it off might be a better option. Place was grubby and no sign of anyone cleaning. Sandwich looks like it had just been smashed into a wall .. not very good

This place is dirty. Cold bottled drinks are warm and no wonder considering the lad refilling the fridge just pushes the cold beverage to the back and warm beverage are stacked at the front. Hardly any filling in sandwich which I had toasted but it was soggy as hell 🤢. Staff are slow and not a smile in sight

Since the new self serve machines have been installed the service has become atrocious. Absolutely zero customer service and really it’s a disgrace that you have to serve yourself with no benefit other than cost savings to the shop. I can only imagine how bad this will be when the store is busy, given the server is closing my order before it’s complete I doubt any time to order indicators will be anywhere near correct.

Just had a Sandwich. My usual meatball marinara with lettuce, pickles, peppers jalapeños , crispy onions with southwest sauce on Italian herbs and cheese bread with cheese toasted. Not that hard right? The state of the sandwich I got was appalling. I got gluten free bread that wasn’t even foot long it was 2 dry crumbly tasteless peace’s of bread. No salad , no cheese and 4 dry meatballs. I’m sorry but what is that. It’s disgusting honestly. Also they didn’t include my cookie.

Just been to get a takeaway sub. Turkey and Ham. There was only 1 slice of each in this. Absolutely disgusted you paying over £7 for that. We were the only people in and it took ages to get our food. I will not be going back

Papa John's Pizza is a popular pizza franchise that provides a wide range of traditional and unique pizzas, along with wings, side dishes, and desserts. Their pizzas are highly regarded for their exceptional quality and taste. Many takeaway pizzas tend to be oily, but Papa John's stands out as they have managed to avoid any greasiness. Their chicken wings are also known for their superior standards, featuring generous portions of tender meat infused with delicious flavors.
Ordered from here recently for collection and was very happy with the pizzas. We had 2 large pizzas which were ready for collection within about 20 minutes of ordering. I'll be honest I've had some bad experiences in the past with Papa John's, but this time it was great, the pizzas were fresh, hot and delicious. Will be back again.

I have a dairy allergy and my mam has been vegan for 9 years. We ordered 2 vegan pizzas and they put real cheese on both and real pepperoni on one. Then when we called up to explain they only offered £10 store credit for £30+ worth of food and we had to argue with them for a full refund despite the fact we explained they’d given the wrong food to someone with an allergy. Terrible food & terrible service 👍

Placed an order for collection. They got one of the orders wrong. Katie, who I spoke to rectified the issue by allowing me to place a future order for the pizza that was wrong. Without Katie's excellent customer service, this place would have got two stars (and three for service). I feel through Katie's understanding and patience, it's earned the extra star overall but Katie's service is above and beyond. Low atmosphere score purely because it feels like a small waiting room with seats when you walk in. What else do you expect from a pizza takeaway place??

Disappointed. Delivery was late, pizza was cold, the base was very thin and the toppings were skinny. Sadly won’t be ordering again.

By far the best pizzas in Cramlington. Not always the cheapest but always the nicest. Staff always friendly, polite and smiles on there faces

This establishment has been in the Brockwell Center for many years now. The food has remained the same good quality but in my view, the customer service has deteriorated. I quickly scanned the other Google reviews before writing my review and it appears I am not alone in thinking this.

Ordered a larger garden party as I am a vegetarian however unfortunately I found chunks of chicken on it, I have emailed customer service's no response yet
