Good ice cream. We had a late lunch and found the foods were just so-so. Too sweet for my taste. Nothing special. Fast service though

Unfortunately, this restaurant is not designed for vegetarian dining. Even dishes labeled as vegetarian are made with oyster sauce, and fish is considered vegetarian by the staff. While it was possible to ask them to leave out the oyster sauce, the resulting dishes were bland and uninspired. Worst water-spinach we ever had. Not a good choice for vegetarians.

Nice food, ordered capcay rice, sate ayam and sate kambing. Rice comes in fried egg, sate kambing so delicate its like melt in your mouth. Had an ice cream homemade. Quite nice. Baso goreng in addition but comes as it is from the shelves, if its fried a bit would be great

Most of the dishes that I ordered was very sweet, which are the empal and lodeh (the lodeh is super sweet). The chicken was not bad though. Price-wise, its ok. Overall, I dont think I'll come back anytime soon.

Good food. Great taste. Best price. Traditional food like Rawon, Lodeh, Rujak and also Chinese Food is available. The restaurant has a home made ice cream. I recomend you to try "Nasi Daging Lada Hitam".

This is restaurant is offering good food with good service. It only 15 minutes walking distance from Probolinggo Train Station. The price is relatively high from other food trader in Probolinggo but the location is in the center of the town and the food taste good. There are a lot you can choose from the menu but personally I like Rosela tea for the drink and dimsum for the food. The place is spacious. You can bring your family here. The childern will enjoy watching fish swimming around beside your eating place. This place is recommended for those who looking good food, or celebrating family events, dinner with business partner, or simply to impress your guest because the food is expensive but the place is well decorated.

A good rest area in probolinggo before you continue your journey. It's good especially in rainy season. They have special meatball here, a meatball mixed with hepar.

First time you look at the menu you may think it's bit pricey, but after you receive the meal, you will found out that it worth the price for the portion, fully loaded fresh ingredients, and great taste, so don't waste them. Good juice. Good pizza. The upstairs restaurant is very stylish. Ceasar salad was with canned tuna in stead of chicken. The chicken was dry, but the taste of the salad was good. Service is friendly but didn't make effort to clean empty dishes or glasses or to give us napkins.

Its another option if you wanna go to Sumber Hidup. They sell delicious Chinese food with great portion as well. I tried Orin Fried Rice and really enjoy it.

This restaurant tries to be all at once, sadly without great results. You'll find Italian, American, Japanese, Chinese and Indonesian food on their menu. But no kitchen nor chef can do all of that great. Stuff like that usually scares me away and it should have done the same here. We ordered some Dim Sum, some of them being okay (Siomay Ayam), others so disgusting we stopped after a small bite (Xiao Long Bao). The Indonesian touch: half of the Dim Sum are deep fried, like the Udang Rambutan. The problem: it's heavy and tasteless. We also had a noodle dish, which didn't convince us either. The staff is friendly, the temperatures were pretty good (not freezing 16°C like in most restaurants), the toilets are clean.

It is a popular Depot n Cafe (D&C) in Probolinggo as several local people recommend it. It might be suitable to the taste of the local residents as they are really short of entertainment places. There are barely any cinemas, any good condition cafes with air conditioners, any 3 stars - up hotels, even up scale restaurants do not exist here. Unfortunately, I am living in a big city, in which Google Maps asks me to grade it.

Nice local cafe in probbolingo. Food was god especially the Sambal ayam. The orange juice was also very good and completely fresh. Didn't taste their coffee but I saw they do their own grinding so might be good also. Service was good and attentive. Place is very big. No AC though but they have fans.

Strategically placed, cozy atmosphere, great for smokers but bad for non-smokers. The foods are good, not too overpriced but it's far from cheap. If you love Javanese foods, moderate portion and coffee, this place is suitable for you. Oh, sometimes there's a live performance too.

The place wasn't very clean, but the prices were quite high. The grilled fish was burnt, and the meat was dry. It wasn't fried and then grilled, either. That's how it should be. The seasoning wasn't noticeable, not even the spices in the grilled sauce. It only tasted sweet from the sweet soy sauce. The chili sauce was watery and not very tasty. It's suitable for those who can't handle spicy chili sauce. The grilled fish left a bad taste in my throat. I'm not sure if it was fresh.

the food was good. I fell in love their menu (gurame bakar). Never fails, always good. Small area inside but nice. Start from 35k for gurame bakar, nasi putih 5k, es jeruk 5k.

My favourite place when I visited to Probolinggo city. The old building but cozy. There are several type of sea fish like snapper, grouper, dorang etc. I like grilled fish. The taste of chili sauce is delicious and hot. I think the price is little bit expensive but still worth. Parking car area on side of highway.

The location of this restaurant is nearby "alun alun kota Probolinggo".. it have an old building but looks like always visited by a lot of buyer.. we try "grilled dorang" n "grilled prawn".. n the taste are so yummy, their seasoning soak into the meat, really tasty even no chili or "sambal".. i think the price are affordable, grilled big dorang 50 k n grilled prawn just 30k, it will be have higher price in my town, lol.. unfortunately, it would be great n friendly restaurant if their staffs have a smile on their face..

One thing among other things we don't like is that the restroom doesn't have any urinal nor toilet, so you are expected to do your business on the floor, and it smells strongly like urine. You're supposed to pick your food and beverages by selecting from the menu cards and then go to the cashier to pay for them. The place is not hygienic enough, the food is mediocre, and the price is not good enough. They provide sinks for washing your hands but didn't bother to fill the soap dispenser. Overall disappointing dining experience.

I was there, ordering milkshake which supposed to be has an ice cream in it but I got the milkshake only, no ice cream on top of it. I complained but the waiter just ignore me and said “I don’t know” and the second time I visit there, everything was same. The waiter didn’t give any smile or kind greeting. It was the worst restaurant I've had since coming to Indonesia in 2013. Even dirtier than a market stall. I can't eat because of the flies, and it's hard to eat food with strange sauces. The price is at the level of a scammer. There is no air conditioning, the view is not good, the food is not good, they are not friendly, the prices are high, they do not accept credit cards and only accept cash... Has to be one of the worst meals I've had in my bromo trip thus far. Fried Chicken Rice for 21k barely had any chicken. Was I expecting too much? Thankfully there's alcohol, the solution too all bad meals.

If you just need a quick bite this place is OK. When I went there were limited options as a lot of stuff on the menu was unavailable. I got the pizza. It was OK but couldn't tell if it was freshly made or a frozen one from a store. I would go again, but do t expect anything special.

First seen on the review it's very good place, many peoples said best experience especially for dine in, but eventually the opposite from it, first came to the restaurant it's not to bright there is no lights on, no greetings from the front desk, and when asking for VIP room they shown a room with messy desk and chairs, and expect the air conditioner are turn on but the sliding door where opened so wide it's means no different with regular and will cost you with minimum purchase 500k. Toilet and washbowl also dirty, for the dissh no to bad but again don't expect more compare with the price you will pay. Very suitable for a quick meal whilst waiting for the Bus. I really liked the Nasi Goreng Java. Not a lot of vegetarian dishes tho it appears.

Diverse food choice: Western, Japanese, Chinese, Indonesia. I ordered Spagetti with 35k Rp. It quite small but good taste. The vegetables I ordered had a fly in it 🤢. When I report to staff, they just smiled and did nothing, said nothing. So irresponsible.

The fried snapper was fried until dry, the meat was shrinked a bit like any other until-dry-frying, but its taste still nice. The size of snapper is based on your choice. When you order you will ask to point any snapper inside the cool box by yourself, then it will be weighed well to calculate how much you need to pay. The shrimp was good, it was quite fishy to me, but still acceptable, the shrimp was weighed too. All my food, including rice worth 86.000 rupiah. I forgot not to ask to the cashier, how much the price for each snapper and shrimp per Ons (0,1 Kg). I was there at dinner time, all table almost full of customer, but, i just need to sit about 15 minutes until my order had finished. If you know "rawon" this is one of the best among others. They served another traditional dish as well. The downside will be their cleanliness, it really need serious consideration. We cannot stay longer than 20 minutes because of that.

Loving the view.. Staff were helpful and friendly enough. Great view. I booked the 3BR bungalo, and its a good decision if you go with family. Good room. Its so spacious. There was living room with smart tv and karaoke also a small pool with spacious terrace. The bungalows need major renovation. The structure wasnt safe enough. The stair weren't straight and looked like would fall anytime. Please do renovate the bungalows. Also please put extra attention for the maintenance of the facilities. It would be a waste if it is not well maintain. Food at resto is okay. But could be better. Fair price. Sadly the ambience wasnt good bcs of the edm music the played. It wasn't a match for the beautiful nature. Maybe some traditional instrumental would do good. Will be back for sure, if the renovation and annual maintain is done properly.😂 sure the view and nature is so good. Full of serenity. Hope will gets better over time. Good resort in the middle of Mangroves. The room is good, spacious, nice atmosphere, reasonable rate. Good fecilitiesb (restaurant, souvenir shop, photo spot, board walk through the mangrove forest. Good for mangrove education.

Slightly annoying access to the hotel/resort by road because you go through a road toll 50m before the turning into the resort. The next booth you come to wants IDR30k per person because you are being charged for day use of facilities which is included if you are a hotel/resident guest. I think the hotel management could do a bit more to join up the dots of service provision. The hotel setting for rooms, restaurant and grounds (elevated walkways over the coast) is very scenic and pleasant. Worth at least a weekend stay. The hotel also offers sea based activities and you have access to a large outdoor pool and bar during the day.

Rooms were dirty especially the bathroom. Very expensive for low quality. Mangrove area smelt really bad. Had to pay a toll/tariff every time we went to and from the town. Do not recommend

The resort's laundry service mixed up our clothes and returned it dirty and wet. They charged us per clothing piece and didn't tell us until the laundry came back. Rooms were infested with moths and the toilet door didn't have a handle. When transporting our bags from the rooms to the car, they got our bags soaked in dirty water. Not worth a stay at all.

This is a nice place to stay in. I do admit it is a bit pricey but considering the difficulties of maintaining a bungalow overwater I say it is a fair price. The view is beautiful especially in the evening and when lights just started to turned on, it's just perfect. I booked an executive bungalow for 1 night. The room it self is ok but could've been better. The lighting could be better because it is very dim and hard to see especially during evening and night. It is not the cleanest of rooms, I saw dust near the window and also stain all over the window. One drawer could not be closed. There's no hair dryer available in the bathrooms, one shower gel have been left opened by the staff and worst of all there's a medium sized spider web near the shower and sink, considering this should be a 4 star hotel these things should have never happened. But the service is good. The staff is very friendly and always smiling. My sister left her earings and the hotel contacted and notified us. The staff even delivered it personally to us, so we don't have to personally go to our room. A lot of attractions and decorations seems to be unavailable or turned off. Some sections seems abandoned and left unattended. There's just a pool available. I do hope they maintain things better and open up these other attractions. Overall this is a pleasant experience, though there could be improvements on certain areas as mentioned above which can easily boost this review to a 5 star.

This place is so wonderful!! For me, it's more beautiful of night.. The wonderful thing about this place is the lamps that decorated very nicely on the statues, ornaments, or the plants. This place is a good place if you want to sightseeing. The ticket cost is cheap also, although there is a different cost between the weekend or a weekdays. If you want to have an holiday to Probolinggo, you must come to this place!! Oh yeah, they still develop this place also. I think there will be more fun things to do there. Oh yeah, if you come at the afternoon, they have a water ride also. It's wonderful place.

Stayed here as part of our mt Bromo sunrise tour. The rooms are large and clean and the staff lovely. Also had a delicious dinner, breakfast and hot chocolate.

Sober rooms, shower and toilet are not separated by a wall of some sorts so be careful as it gets slippery. Beds were long and wide enough with nice, thick blankets. Even though the blankets were thick I was still freezing (while wearing three layers) as the room has no heating facilities. Going from 35°C in the morning to 14°C in the afternoon and evening was quite a shock so warm clothes and warm pyjama’s are a must (possibly bring warm socks as well). The staff was very helpful and friendly and helped us where needed. The location is also perfect as it’s right on the edge of the Sea of Sand next to the Bromo volcano.

Beware bedbugs. We stayed here for one (half really) night to visit mount bromo. This hostel was booked as part of a tour. Regardless there is little choice for good hotels in cemorolewang, as other reviews may say, it seems the hotels all know guests are only staying for a few hours and so there is little incentive to provide quality accommodation. The pros: - shower was hot - close to bromo - close to other restaurants - toiletries provided Cons: - bugs, spiders and cockroaches in the rooms and around the hostel generally - no heating so cold at night - pack warm night clothes - towels were dirty - the first room we were given, we found bed bugs in the sheets. We went to reception, they didn’t seem to really understand but offered us a twin room which we accepted. (Later we saw other guests using this room and I doubt the bed would have been sufficiently cleaned by then.) Upon checking the beds, we saw signs of bed bugs in one of the twin beds and the other looked ok. Being so tired already we took the room and slept in one twin bed as it was only 3 hours sleep. Other issues I have heard of in these hotels (cold water, dirty rooms, loud noise) may be forgivable for a single night but with bed bugs there is a big risk to travellers so I cannot recommend this particular hostel. It was not a comfortable stay. We are leaving with great memories of bromo but also all the clothes we slept in in a separate bag in case we caught bed bugs which is not a worry anyone wants to have.

Lovely place to stay for Bromo trip. Standard room: The room is small, and the main light is near to the bathroom which I think it may not that convenient for someone that just check-in. Occasionally, power break down during the stay. The bathroom comes with gas-powered heater, at first, we are not sure how to operate and only able to shower with cold water (ice-cold water heated to cold water), so we informed reception about it and they send technician to inspect. Then only we realized it is because the heater is not set well, not because of broken. The room comes with only 2 big towels without bath mat, so we have to request for 1 additional towel to be used as bath mat. Breakfast: Bread, fried rice, fried noodles, vegetables, eggs etc. We ate while the food already cold, but taste is still nice. Ambient: Nice environment with good smell flowers in their small garden. I would rate as only 2-star for the room based on my past experience in other hotels, but in overall, it is still acceptable and good with the other things.
