Very good food and atmosphere! Beautiful water ka Lake in the middle is surrounded by little huts, which are individual tables. Definitely worth a relaxing dinner experience.

Came to Segara Bambu with friends for a seafood dinner, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food truly delivered — everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and cooked beautifully. One small note: the grilled clam was good, but if they could go a little lighter on the sambal on top of it, it would let the natural sweetness of the clams shine even more. The real standout of the night, though, was their vegetable dishes — absolutely stellar! Every vegetable plate we tried was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection, stealing the show from the seafood (which says a lot). Service was also top-notch: warm, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. Definitely planning to come back!

They put the service in a very high standard. Besides, the foods are amazing!! Tasted very Jimbaran but not that spicy as Balinese tongue 😁 Today we're celebrate my Mom's bday. And we're very satisfied. Perfect team, thanks. We can feed fish too!

Came to Segara bamboo for dinner on our first night in Bali. Segara bambu did not disappoint at all. All the dishes we ordered were extremely flavourful and well balanced. Highly recommend the Singapore crabs and salt and pepper chicken and salt and pepper fish. The scallops we found slightly overcooked and the cha japchae was not really to our liking, however everything else tasted amazing including the fried fish, baked lobsters and sambal prawns. Customer service was very efficient and food prices very affordable. Definitely recommend Segara bambu if you are craving Chinese food in Bali.

Perfect place for family and friends. Cozy and natural place with great ambience and traditional atmosphere. Back to nature with a lots of place to take a pic. I think this is one of get a way place from crowd. Tasting the food deliciously great. Will be back soon.

The restaurant is comfy. Good design with water sound and fish pool below the gazebo. The lighting is quite ok. The food recommend is gurame terbang and the shell. The friend squid is not recommend because its too plain. No taste at all. The sambal is ok. Price is ok

Authentic Sundanese restaurant in the middle of Bali is so rare! Flavors were spot on and we loved eating in the 'saung' and feeding the fish with pellets providrd by the restaurant. Highlight was the salted egg shrimp and es durian. Will come back!

Very affordable price in the busy area of sanur. And the taste is good. They have so many flavors, I try 3 of them and all are good 🤤 There are so many gelato in Bali, but Massimo is the cheapest one I guess, but the taste is really good. But unfortunately they have pistachio only on weekend 🙃🙃 Worth to try

For me, this was an outstanding dining experience. It’s rare to find a Western restaurant that truly understands and applies the proper flow between appetizers, main courses, and desserts. 3. The menu offers a wide variety of options—vegetarian, gluten-free, seafood-free, nut-free—everyone is well accommodated. We ordered the gnocchi and homemade pork sausage, both incredibly delicious. But this time, I want to especially appreciate Oca (the lady with glasses) because her character really stands out. There’s a way she carries herself that goes beyond good service. She doesn’t just serve, she does it with love, and when someone works with love, you can feel it.. Oca made the experience unforgettable. She’s always smiling in a way that feels genuine, not routine. When my brother asked for toppings, she added them with a full smile and playful gesture that made the moment fun. When it was my turn, she carefully asked if I had any allergies and even explained that one of the flavors had alcohol, making sure I was okay with it. That little extra care might seem small, but it showed how much she loves what she does, and because of that, we received it as more than service, we received it as kindness. These are small details, yet they carry so much weight. Because in that moment, I realized it wasn’t just gelato we received, it was care, attention, and kindness. Everyone at Massimo does a great job, but Oca’s way of serving stands out. She shares an energy that lifts the entire place, reminding us that the simplest gestures can change how a day feels. I walked out not only with gelato in hand but with a smile that stayed much longer. And that’s why I’ll keep coming back, and bring my friends too, because service done with love is something rare, and Oca makes it shine.

Massimo Italian Restaurant is an amazing place! The entire vibe and atmosphere instantly transport you straight to Italy. The food is outstanding, and we were very impressed with the quality of the Italian classics like the spaghetti and pizza. Surprisingly, we also tried the Indonesian food and found it to be absolutely the best—a must-try! The experience was made even better by the warm service, especially from Ms. Ayuk, who greeted us with such a polite and lovely smile. Thank you for a truly wonderful day! Our second and last visit. Ms. Ayu Sri was the queen of the place. Disturbing her smile and ensuring with the customer everything is well with them. We are lucky because she was our waitress for today. Thanks for her efforts.

Price wise worth the value, generous portion. Most favorite in particular order : * ketoprak very good! * nasi goreng kambing good! * tempe tahu penyet, bland sambal. Ordinary! * coconut orange taste bitter seems like the orange were pre-prep couple hours earlier. Overal experience ok.

First of all, this place looks nice. Quite, not that crowd. The vibes feels good. They had outdoor too. It's quite nice. The service is the best. It's a pleasant to come over this place. For the food.. Normal taste for the fried rice. Standard. But the plating serve, kinda weird. Not with plate, but with something unique. Kinda odd, but it's fine. Overall, the food taste good. The coffee.. Nothing special. Taste like normal/usual coffee/latte. Overall, it's good. The Service is the best👍 👌👌👌

A casual family-friendly restaurant serving a good variety of Indonesian Dishes in Renon area. Service was decent, facilities are reasonably clean and lastly car parking is a bit tight.

We came here for some afternoon tea and desserts. There's so much dessert dishes and well as bakery options available. I really loved the hot crispy banana and chocolate spring rolls with ice cream. YUM!

Spacious place for group, Variety choice of local food. Great taste and big portion, fair price. Good service and the staffs are friendly. Clean restroom. Kids corner is also give a plus point. Unfortunately the parking man was not doing his excellent service. Not whole hearted. He didn't pay attention to which customer with the illuminated sign looking for parking space. When you had parked, then he approached to say not to park here but over there. Not friendly at all.

We had a surprisingly good lunch here with my family on our way to Uluwatu. The chicken sticks were very delicious. I only wish they had more salad options for starters. The desert and the steak was also good. They have friendly prices too.

Food was pretty good, had a lot of recommendations but it was a bit overrated in my opinion. The pork belly was great but we found the Satay Ayam to be covered with too much kecap manis hence overpowering the taste. Had the opportunity to watch the waitresses dance for another table for ordering cocktails! Definitely give them a visit and try the food, as it might just be that it was too meaty for us!

THE BEST STEAK IN SANUR!!!!! Just had dinner at Naughty Nuri's.... WOW!! They cooked the perfect steak. Delicious juicy pork belly. Sauce was amazing with just the right kick 🌶 Refreshing caesar salad on the side. To finish - a yummy dessert to share. 11/10. Special mention to our waiter - Redi for his fantastic service. We ordered and he didn't even have to write it down. Enthusiastic, kind, bubbly, professional staff. Will definitely be back!!

5 stars all around! Ribs were tender and mouth watering, crazy corn ribs were to die for, volcano potato yum yum yum and for a person who doesn't like Mac n cheese, theirs was actually very nice! Our waitress Aeni was super friendly, knowledgeable and quick to serve us! Food came out quickly and nice and hot. 5 stars, yum yum! So naughty!! 650,000IDR for all of the meals below.

Was recommended here by my Grab share driver, it’s his favourite place for pork ribs. Seemed a bit cliched with decor and title, but I tried it anyway. First off, five stars for November beer special AUD $5 for 2 Bintang! Ordered the signature ribs 600grams, it was full of bbq flavour but certain parts of the meat were a bit dry. Have had better in those hole in the wall warungs in Ubud. The Asian coleslaw was the perfect way to cut through the rich bbq sauce, meat and Bali humidity.

Best staff service — huge credit to Ayu and Lina for their warm, attentive and genuinely caring service. They made the whole experience feel extra special. The pork ribs were fall-apart tender and packed with flavour, the kind that makes you pause after the first bite because wow. The corn cheese was creamy, gooey and addictive, perfect with everything on the table. And the crispy pork belly? Absolute perfection. The crackling was light and crisp, the meat juicy, and every bite tasted like someone in the kitchen really cares. Honestly, every dish landed. Would come back just for this trio alone.

Ribs were good but nothing special The kebabs were good but be sure to watch out for the spice! Had to chug my drink after eating it The spicy tacos are TO DIE FOR. Just enough spice and so rich in flavour. 10/10 would eat again Although the location is a bit tricky, the shop itself is well-maintained and there are chairs for you to wait for a seat. Toilets are clean, and there are sinks available with soap to clean your hands. Would definitely go again when I re-visit Bali!

I find that the quality has dropped over year or at least compared to the outlet in Seminyak. Be careful with the cocktails cause the waiter told us the vodka used was Absolute, but it turns out they use locally made vodka. For that price you can get it with authentic vodka somewhere else. The pork belly satay was mostly chunks of fat (see pictures). The Cesar salad was good, but too soggy soaked in too much dressing. The pork tacos are worth the money. Of course the ribs are still good, but are getting skinnier over time.

One of my most favorite restaurants! I’ve been coming here for the last three years, and it never disappoints. The menu stays true to authentic Indonesian flavors while presenting them in a refined, elegant way. The ambience is beautiful, and I absolutely love the bar. The second-floor setting is just perfect. They’re doing an amazing job here, and the food… wow. Absolutely outstanding. Their wine list is also excellent. I definitely recommend this place and will keep coming back!

Pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this meal! The small bites were a lot larger than we expected - it was a good call to share one between the both of us. The lobster dumpling is to die for. Highly recommend! This will be definitely a restaurant I plan on revisiting again and again.

Absolutely delicious meal and great service. Will definitely come back next time in Bali. We did the set menu. They have a full set menu for vegetarian if you ask. They also substituted the standard set menu for one who doesn’t eat seafood.

My husband and I showed up without a reservation but they were very accommodating, even though they had a full house. The food is exquisite. Our waiter was very helpful (and advised us not to get that much food). We ended up feeling more than satisfied! Portions are appropriate. The dishes are presented very aesthetically and the flavors are delicious. I totally recommend coming to this place!

If it had not been for their open plan layout (suitable if it's located in a tranquil area, but a disaster when located next to a very busy road), i wouldve given legit 5 stars. I ordered buddha bowl. The food is exquisite and extremely nutritious. A mix of varieties of proteins and fibers from plant-based to animal, perfect for me who loves both. It's just the road noise that hinders my dining experience.

Loved this place Staff were incredibly friendly and kept checking if we needed anything. The smash avo and hash benedict were delicious, and I liked that you can add toppings like salmon or bacon. The café has great plating, clear menu photos, and a cozy atmosphere. It’s also pet-friendly. Nice spot on Sanur’s main street.

Maybe living on its past but I found this to be average fare. I had morning glory. Partner had a smoothie bowl, which she described as like eating ice cream in the middle. All in all, underwhelming and not be rushing back. It was a 25min walk from where we are staying. There are other comparative places on the same street. Coffee was good. Canvas is still our #1 for smoothie bowls.

Popped in for a quick coffee and drink. Ordered an iced chocolate (served with sugar syrup on the side) and an affogato—both were nicely done and hit the spot. Tried a slice of carrot cake, but unfortunately found it quite dry and not to my taste. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the café layout is with a smoking section at the front and non-smoking at the back.

From appetizers to main courses, each item was well-prepared and satisfying. The value for money here is commendable, making it an excellent choice for those who appreciate delicious cuisine without a hefty price tag.

We were passing by with my husband and stopped in for dinner. The atmosphere is cozy, lots of greenery, beautiful decor, it was very pleasant to eat. The food was amazingly delicious! It's wow! The salad and main course was incredible. Was going to give it 5 stars, was very satisfied. Until the waitress brought us the bill. My husband asked the waitress: is service included in the bill or not? She says no. Husband looked at the bill and asks her, what does “biaya pelayanan” mean? Because he saw the amount billed next to that name. The waitress didn't answer anything, just ignored it and it was obvious on her face that we had put her in a dead end. Later, when we looked through a translator to see what it meant, it turned out to be a service charge) it was unpleasant, although up to that point we liked everything very much.

Large garden and good flavors. It was quiet when we arrived. So I was concerned that ingredients or taste would be lacking. The crispy pork belly turns out to be not available. Yet for the food that is available, taste is solid. Service can be a bit slow. Parking is abundant on site. Toilets are ok.

Instagram @lalisa_doniho - They have many kinds of dishes and drinks. When I went there, they are having promo 15K for the coffee and 30K for coffee + croissant/danish. Tried the Udang Cabai Garam and Double Expresso. Overall quite satisfied with the quality. The shrimp cooked nicely with enough seasonings and taste. The sunny-side up cooked nicely also and not overcooked. They have a bar, indoor-outdoor area, Wi-Fi, AC and a few places to charge. In the outdoor area, you can find a see-saw, a few car toys, kid's playground, and swings.

Very well design! Love its ambience, its hard to believe theres a very nice restaurant inside if you looking it from the outside street. Also its a bit hard to find this place at night because theres no light box/sign. Picture says them all. Staff were friendly, their coffee was good with reasonable price. Only have the chance to try their coffee and baked fries, that was yummy! Will come back to try another menu for sure!

Pathetic and sad food. Calamari comes in 5 pieces with a HUGE plate. Bland pasta. Chicken parmigiana is spicy hot with waaaay too many paprika powder, same goes with the fries. The waitress didn't even inform this to us knowing that I specially order this for my little daughter. It's inedible for my daughter. I only take a pic of the calamari because it looks so sad and pathetic. Just look at it.

Fabulous!!! Such a wonderful evening. It is hard to believe you are in Bali when you step into the immaculate modern space. Every effort is made to make you feel welcome. We had a drink in the beautiful garden area surrounded by fairy lights. I had the Bloody Mary- wow!!!! This is one of the nicest drinks I’ve had in a long time. The ice was tomato pearls and the drink itself was so light and flavoursome- I need ti go back just to try this again. We did the tasting menu. I highly recommend sitting at the bar overlooking the kitchen. It was wonderful to watch the talented staff at their stations working their magic. Food was so inventive and different. So refreshing to go somewhere where the talent is so high and the skill levels to try imaginative pairings that work so well and are all cooked to perfection. I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly. It is not just a dinner but an experience. My favourite was the octopus- I have no idea how they made it so tender. My partner loved the beef bone marrow. Hopefully we can fit in another visit before we leave Bali to try some of the dishes that weren’t on the testing menu and to have another Bloody Mary!

We had the chance to enjoy an amazing dinner there. The dishes and recommendations were excellent, especially the restaurant’s best sellers. Every plate was crafted with great attention to flavor, texture, and creative combinations. The oysters with pearls were simply heavenly and perfectly captured the spirit of the whole meal. The crispy rice was also unique, as was the Cuca breakfast dessert. This is definitely a must-visit restaurant in Bali for food lovers—whether you’re with friends, your partner, or family. The open kitchen adds a special touch, allowing you to watch the chefs at work. The only small detail for me was the wine, which didn’t quite match my taste with the dishes, and the spicy sauce, even though I usually enjoy spicy flavors. Apart from that, the mocktails and service were absolutely exceptional.

Absolutely amazing. My friend and I stayed in Jimbaran for about 5 days and this is the best restaurant that we have visited. The food of course was on the top and the service delivery was amazing. We absolutely enjoyed every dish and would definitely come back again. It is the place that you must try the chef menu and you know you won’t be disappointed at all! We went with 9 different options and added oysters on top of that. Oysters were so fresh and it was one of the best ones we have tried all across the world. My absolute favorite was their scallop and my friend’s favorite was the bao. We both loved their special on that day, which was the oyster. I have been recommending to all my friends who are visiting Bali soon and especially whoever is visiting the Jimbaran area! With the horrible Bali traffic and a closure of the road the day we were visiting, we had a major delay. However, the staffs were very understanding and friendly. No reason to not visit this restaurant. The price is extremely reasonable as well.

We found Cuca just after we landed back in Bali and we really enjoyed our experience there. We ordered the following: Nachos Broccoli caeser Roast pork buns (one of our favs) Crispy fried chicken Spicy crab (my fav) The ambience of the restaurant was really cool. Large open air spaces with drawback partitions for privacy. Dimly lit but not too dark. You can see the entire kitchen as well. The staff were so friendly and attentive we really enjoyed our time there and highly recommend going there. Thank you for the amazing food and experience team!

We were there for lunch and had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The food kept surprising us in a great way, service was amazing. We felt extremely well taken care of. Everything was pristine! Highly recommend. They have a park and kids menu so it’s great for families too!

This place definitely deserves 5 stars! It is the perfect restaurant if you are looking for a fine dining experience. From the moment you get to the gate till the end , they make you feel special. They have a tablet where they show you how each dish looks which is very helpful. Just be mindful that the portions are pretty small. We ordered the Almost Bbq Ribs and the Bbq Octopus and they were very small. So if you are very hungry, keep this in mind. We only wanted to check it out and didn't come starving, otherwise we would have ended up ordering more. FYI, the ribs come in two small pieces. They also offered us some complementary dish that looks like small marshmallow with the texture of a cotton candy - Cotton Betutu. Definitely give it a try.

A legend culinary destination in Sanur area. The food is quite nice, the soup is rich of spices yet light. The fried fish was so so. The portion was just perfect with only a small amount of white rice to let all the food sit nicely in your tummy. I think it would be much better to take it as dinner instead of lunch, especially in a windy night. The soup will keep you warm after dine. You have to queue before get the food, most of the time. But, the food definitely worth the wait though.

Mak Beng is still the best spot to try authentic Balinese fish cuisine. I went here with colleagues from abroad and the food didn’t disappoint. The fried fish was tender and juicy, while the soup was a bit salty on its own but perfectly balanced once mixed with rice. The set menu is only 55k for rice, fried fish, and fish head soup. Super affordable for the quality you get. The flavors are rich but still friendly for anyone not used to strong Balinese spices. The only drawback is they don’t take reservations. If you’re coming in a group, better have a local friend secure seats in advance, otherwise you’ll likely have to queue when it’s busy.

Warung Mak Beng at Pantai Sanur is an absolute classic! The set menu might be simple — crispy fried fish, fish soup, and sambal — but the flavors are unforgettable. I love the crispy fried fish and the tanginess of the fish broth soup — so refreshing and full of flavor. The fish tastes super fresh, and everything is seasoned just right. The sambal adds the perfect spicy kick. It’s the kind of meal that feels comforting and satisfying, especially after a walk by the beach. Service is quick, prices are fair, and the atmosphere is authentic local Bali — nothing fancy, just great food done right. Tip: Come early if you can; it gets crowded fast and they sell out often.

My 2nd time here and the food is still really good and as hearty as before. the price is also still as affordable. Hearty fish soup with crispy fish served with sambal goreng tomat, kaffir lime, and rice. I like to add some sweet soybsauce over the sambal as well as having salmon skin crisp as crunchy element. Perfect way to start your day in Sanur! Came around 8.30 in Monday morning so it wasnt aa crowded as lunch time.

Warung Mak Beng is an excellent spot for seafood lovers! If you’re looking for a delicious grilled fish at a reasonable price, this is definitely the place to go. Their fish head soup is amazingly good — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend trying it if you visit!

You know theyre good when there is only 1 food item on the menu!!! Not a fish fan (i avoid eating them) but im so glad i say yes to this. Both soup and the fried fish were soo good i had to tell the staffs that their food is superb!!!

We loved our experience at Fisherman’s club. Dinnertime is delicious, where you can choose your own fish to grill. You can also order the platter which is a lot of food and is great value. Staff were absolutely amazing. We also ate here for lunch the next day, they have an extensive lunch menu and everything was delicious.

Fantastic service from the crew here. We had dinner here and as the sun began to set, there wasn’t enough lighting at the table as we sat outdoors to enjoy the sea breeze so the staff provided very handy portable ring lights so that we could pick the bones out of our grilled red snapper. So we truly appreciated the kind Food was also excellent. Cooked to perfection and well seasoned. The dirty potatoes side was particularly delicious!

We went to the restaurant with our family this evening and ordered the captain’s seafood platter, calamari, and chicken nuggets for the children. The seafood and fish platter was sufficient for two adults and very delicious, the calamari were excellent, and the children really enjoyed the nuggets. Lovely atmosphere and outstanding service.

Way overrated. Very nice place with excellent fresh food and service. Good quality, but... very expensive. The saxo was playing too loud so, in the tables near the DJ, the music may be a bit disturbing. For dinner, we had one grilled fish, octopus (which we didn't enjoy because it was too tough and tasteless), and four grilled king prawns, which were very tasty. Some sauces were included. To drink, we had two lemonades, and for dessert, we shared a crème brûlée with coconut ice cream. The waiter forgot the extra spoon and we had to ask for it. During the dinner I asked for bread, which came with butter—50 IDR for 3 slices. The whole experience was good, but in my opinion, this place is not worthy the total price for 2 people: 1,300,000 IDR for such a dinner is way too much, as we are in Indonesia, it would be fair in Europe. All waiters were very nice and professional.

I went there last night for the first time but I have tried their burgers few times at Sanur Festival. My first impression was: some of the staffs are kind of rude (this is just my theory: but could it be because I'm a local 'Balinese' or might be the only local there among all the 'Chinese'?. or could it be personal reasons like they have problems at home?). Some of them didn't even smile and kind of 'ketus' when I asked for something like menu. This made me a little uncomfortable tbh and wanted to just cancel the table. But anyway, some of them are still very nice so I stayed :) The food was amazing, just ok portions to me, but they're all flavorful and fresh. My favorites are the beef goulash & oysters. Yum. Price wise, I think it's still fair although it might be a little higher than most restaurants in Sanur, but still reasonable price considering the place, food, and vibes. (just need some of those staffs to be nicer as they work in hospitality, especially when the guests are nice to them and not being rude to them). Parking spot is available but very busy, I would say it's better to ride than drive. And reservations are highly recommended especially when you're in a big group. I'll definitely coming back for the food and maybe some drinks :)

Arena got a different vibes. Oldies but this is place for a comfort food. Recommend chicken liver paste, Beef Stroganoff and Lamb Shank Curry. They divide two area for smoking an non smoking room, also have a plenty parking spots.

Decided to try Jalapeno in Sanur after reading other reviews. WOW......no regrets at all.... Food was amazing, service perfect and a pleasant atmosphere. We had the Loaded Nachos, Burrito 🌯 and the Papas Con Chorizo (Spiced Roasted Potatoes with Chilli Garlic Aioli). All were tasty, fresh and really good serving size. Would recommend to anyone coming to Sanur that would like an authentic Mexican meal.....

Good selection of tacos and other specials Great crew. Opens till 10 pm. Decor was dark cosy , unlike other “ colourful” mexican food joints. Came alone and they made me feel welcome Had the fish tacos, tuna tartare with guacomole and the especial of two pieces fried tacos with beef strips. There was a cute white dog. It just hung around the venue and the staff members were kind to let it stay on its premises.

We had an absolutely amazing night at Jalapeño in Sanur! The food was incredible packed with flavour and beautifully presented. Every dish we ordered was a winner, from the tacos to the nachos and everything in between. The cocktails were just as impressive fresh, creative, and perfectly balanced. You can really taste the care they put into every drink. What truly made the night unforgettable, though, was the staff. They were so lovely, welcoming, and full of good vibes always smiling, cracking jokes, and clearly loving what they do. Their energy made the whole experience so much fun. We laughed, we ate, we drank, and we left already planning our return. Highly recommend Jalapeño to anyone in Sanur looking for great food, top-notch drinks, and a night full of good times. During the ongoing road construction in the Sanur area, the restaurant’s toilet had no running water, and there was quite a lot of dust — definitely not the best atmosphere for dining, which affected my appetite. Normally, the food quality and service here are much better. Hopefully, the road project finishes soon — I really miss the real vibe and excellent food from this place.

I came here with my kids. They got super happy here. Making their own pancake, color and shape is up to them. Good food with a good price. They have coffee, pancakes, fried rice, burger, fish n chips and other more. Good vibe and easy to locate, right next south of IALF. But the parking spot for car is a little bit difficult. Over all, its a good place for lunch dinner or snack. And bring the kids as well. Oh and dont forget to follow their Instagram, there's a lot of promotions and discounts to give.

Sundays are so much better when a brunch is involved. The Hyatt Regency really knows how to do this well. An extensive range of superbly prepared hot and cold food is presented and served by the amazing team. Whatever your tastebuds are into, there’s something waiting for you. Amazing freshly shucked oysters and many other shellfish, perfectly cooked steak, endless bbq choices - arrive hungry!

We came here for dinner without a reservation and got a table outside. Staff is very service oriented and made sure we were comfortable. There was a family near us who asked to turn off the ventilator, while we wanted it on, so they brought a floor ventilator specifically for us, which was very sweet. We ordered sangria, bruschetta, steak, tuna steak and tiramisu. Tuna steak was overcooked. Tiramisu tasted incredible, but the proportion of ingredients was a little bit off - there was not enough ladyfingers at the bottom. We would definitely come back again though to taste some pizza :)

The shredded chicken and vegetables were okay. The overall taste and portion were worth 42k. The service was quick, but do not expect the good ambience for a local eatery like this.

I'm only here for the jazz! Since I'm a big jazz fan, when I saw a live jazz band ( with a saxophonist!) was playing here tonight, I promptly booked a table. We took advantage of the Happy Hour and had a few cocktails and a pizza too. The band were great. Can't beat live jazz and by the sea is even more exhilarating.

As a IHG member I felt deeply disappointed overall with the hotel and the restaurant mainly. The food is below mediocre. Drinks are watery. The staff attitude is more than questionable. You don't expect to be treated with such arrogance and so unprofessionally when coming to an international 5 Star hotel. It does not matter the location in the world. I blame those who should train the staff to follow certain standards. At the end of the day employees are just employees and you can't expect to fulfill your expectations if not trained at all. They don't live above the standards of course. But at the same time it is a matter of common sense as well. If the menu is upto 5 or 8 times more expensive than outside the hotel you should know that the guests expect some nice food and treatment. Also the bell boys are a bit rude and rough. But again it is not their fault. They have not been trained to deal with guests properly. So the Intercontinental management should change this ASAP or get their wages reduced. It's you to blame and your full responsibility to supervise these things and take the necessary actions beforehand. Waiting for a bad review to improve the service is for a 2 Star hotel.

A nice restaurant on the beach with extremely average food. So far the most expensive place we have been to and totally overrated. I had fish that was served me cold, rice (was supposed to be coconut rice) without a hint of coconut, not very tasty beans. My husband was served a beer that was warm … Crab bao - way too spicy, was more of spicy sauce than a crab itself. Gado Gado salad - not tasty. Pizza - not tasty. Not worthy at all… We left with a heavy stomach and quite disappointed because there’s a lot of good places in Sanur (it’s our second time in Sanur in Bali) so 1 dinner was wasted on average food.

Visited once and had to return to try more of the menu. The Tuna Tartare and Lobster Paella is some of the best food I've ever experienced. And the staff are really friendly and attentive. Also the little frozen choccy balls they have are really good! Doesn't get any better.

My husband and I was on a lunch break from our conference in Sanur and I was craving for paella. Yes. Paella in Bali! We found Pescado through Google search nearby the hotel and it was a lovely lunch! The burrata salad with tuna was amazing. And we ordered Red Snapper paella and it was delicious! It was very affordable and we will come back again, for sure!

OMG the garlic shrimp were so good, I could have eaten a paella size plate full. The tuna stake was cooked to perfection, and the basque cheese cake *chefs kiss*. I didn’t plan to come all the way to Bali for Spanish cuisine - but I highly recommend!

We came here to celebrate my father-in-law's 60th birthday with the whole family. We were ushered upstairs to a very nice private space that could sit 10-15 people. The whole atmosphere was pleasant and suprisingly kid friendly as we had a total of 4 children. We had the fine dining set order by candlelights. Our server was Rudy and his team, they were very welcoming, fun, and hospitable. Food wise, we started off with Mahi Mahi with potato bread. This for me was probably the best combination of bread and dipping sauce. The Mahi Mahi was marvelous, very creamy with that hint of fishy taste at every bite. It was a wholesome experience. Then came the tuna tartelette and jamom croquette. The tartelette was zingy and flavourful as a mouthful, I personally liked that. The croquette was creamy and blended perfectly with the saltiness of the jamon. As for the ceviche, it was alright though, my famumily had the same sentiments. We probably expected it to be a bit more sour and vinegarey, but this one somehow lacked a bit of those elements for our liking, some even commented it tasting a little sweet. Now for the shared mains, we had dry aged grouper, lamb shoulder, and potato mille. Not many of us appreciated the grouper, although it was presented well and had that crispy skin, we found the meat a tad bit mushy in some parts. The lamb was a delight though, very soft, almost a melt-in-your-mouth kind of attempt. It tasted a little gamey, but we all were used which we didn't mind at all. On that note, most of us wished it was a potato mash instead of mille. We thought it would've been a more rounded pairing with the lamb. But the mille was crunchy and soft inside, we all liked it. Finally, as a dessert person, my winner would probably be the churros. It had that perfect crunch and soft core. The dulce de leche was a nice touch as it melts the chocolate on top of the churros. The amalgamation of all the components in this dessert was very well executed. It was a delightful experience altogether. The staff also prepared a candle for my father-in-law to blow, and they catered very well to the children. Our team of servers were very fun and accommodating. This definitely made our whole experience a comfortable and memorable one. The restaurant should be proud of their staff, very kind and go above and beyond. We highly recommend this restaurant if you want to try a fine-dining experience with its own flair and genuine service!

Amazing experience! The service was excellent. We had dinner at the bar and loved it, the bartender were shaking cocktails right in front of us and sharing the stories behind them, which really made the evening feel special. The live Latin American music in the background added so much atmosphere, and the food was truly great. We’ll definitely be back!

Came for date night and had the set menu. Overall highly recommend. Loved almost everything we got. Ceviche was perfect! The lamb and thousand layer potato were well cooked but taste-wise felt out of place on the menu, as the flavor profile was much narrower than the other dishes. Perhaps it would have been better to swap for a seafood main and the corn cake.

Have been to Santanera 3 times now, the food is always amazing. I highly recommend their empanadas and churros - I have been getting them for all the times I’ve been here. My only comment is that I wish they have more choices for cuts of steak, but otherwise the steak was well flavoured. Also special thanks to Ketut for making the dining experience even better

Then came the Grilled Striploin, 🥩 advertised as “premium” but definitely wasn’t. Chewing on it felt like battling a piece of rubber. ‼️ The Pumpkin & Bacon Soup was also a complete fail, terrible texture and tasted borderline expired. And the Mango Sticky Rice? Another fail. 😖 The sorbet was completely off, and that so-called maple chip? It felt more like a leftover siomay skin. What’s even worse? 💥 The presentation is nowhere near the Instagram-perfect shots they advertise. The place itself is actually nice, but the food quality just doesn’t match up. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I honestly don’t know how others can say the food here is great because my entire meal was a complete fail. Definitely not worth it…

Was a very pleasant dining experience. The ambiance was nice, a few patrons were there but definitely was not busy for a Sunday lunch. I ordered the bacon and cheese fries on a whim and it turned out to be very delicious. Cesar salad seems to be a dish that's done differently from one place to the next but was delicious, chicken parmigiana seemed just right as it was nice and tender plus it came with fries and a salad (sorry no photo). Nasi Goreng Tinta Cumi was not so great but maybe it's just not for me since I'm not a big fan of seafood. It was my first time trying this dish anywhere. The rice seemed to be a bit hard. Would definitely eat here again.

One of a stylish city cafe and restaurant with a tropical, warm ambience. The vibe looks upscale, and they serve pork, making it a great choice for non-halal dining in the heart of Denpasar. The restaurant offers spacious indoor and outdoor seating, which is perfect for gatherings or meetings. Plus, plenty of parking is available. I tried the Crispy Pork Belly, Pork Knuckle, Pork Gyoza, Prawn Butter and Nasi Goreng Pork Tandoori. Each dish was satisfying and full of flavor. Dessert was the highlight tho: the Tiramisu cake, absolute rich and delightful.

Big cafe, affordable food, and taste pretty good. They have a large variety of dishes. Wifi is reliable too so you can even work from here. Their parking space is big enough for several cars. This time we tried bakmi goreng modus and spaghetti tuna aglio olio. They are not super good but acceptable.

The dish lacked any real Italian herb flavor, and it just didn’t meet the standard I was craving, there’s almost no dressing in the salad. If you’re looking for good Western food, I’d recommend trying LOsteria or Mama Mia instead. Warung Modus is still a great spot for local dishes, but not the best choice for Western cuisine.

One of the cafes in Denpasar that has a good lighting, a good air conditioning, excellent service, and a nice food & drinks to compliment with. I went to this cafe for some work, and time passed super quickly thanks to their comfortable ambiance. The weather outside was burning, and yet thanks to the fan they put here & there, the air inside was comfortable. I ordered bakmi Modus & matcha latte. Both are great. Wasn’t the best bakmie nor the best matcha, but it’s good enough and price wise, their food & drinks are still affordable. The highlight in this cafe though, their excellent workers. I love how quickly their service was & how nice they are. Will come back for sure.

Came here over 15 times and the food is always delicious! The prices are right and the workers are super friendly. One of the better nasi gorengs around Sanur/Renon for sure. I personally love their mushroom pasta and spicy wings. Will of course return again and again!

This place is a delightful dive into nostalgia. Authentic flavors, cozy indoor seating, and a breezy outdoor terrace that makes it perfect for groups or solo vibes. I tried the shredded chicken, it was solid. Plenty of flavor and totally worth finishing (7.5/10 from me). The drinks lineup: es tape, es teh sereh, and es cincau was solid as well. Prices are wallet-friendly, and the “Past Dishes. Present Taste. Future Cuisine” concept shines through. My only hiccup: the staff took a while to acknowledge our arrival and bring menus, so I had to grab one myself from the cashier. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but it did dampen the welcome vibe a bit.

Everything is so special about this place. The food is an absolute perfection. We really loved it. But that is not all. The people who created this place and love there are true Balinese artist souls with a true love for their culture and the art of cuisine. In this place they re created the real vibe of Bali. We went there for early dinner when they were about to close. There are two parts of the restaurant. From the entrance, you’ll first reach “present” food. But look for the “past” food at the back. Food was perfect with no pork, was told there’s no menu so we ordered set of the day and bapak recommended fish pepes. Friendly elderly couple took their time and effort explaining the philosophy behind their food. Food tasted great with not much of typical Balinese spiciness. Another kind of Balinese cuisine worth savouring.

One of the great place if you are searching for a local food. First i come here, there's only a few customer and the waiter ask us to order in their backyard (more like a kitchen) but there's many chicken (little bit smelly) there and also the walking path is not easy to walk for a restaurant standard. I order the nasi tekor ayam and some sate lilit. Turns out the food was really good. I can enjoy all of them. The frontyard is clean and some old house vibes makes it so special. Can't beat it on the price, for sure. Very good value, we thought, at about 135k for 4 portions, 2 drinks and kerupuk. The taste is pretty good, too, but clearly at that price something has to give, so we found our servings of chicken were mostly chicken skin with only a few pieces of "real" chicken. One thing not to our taste was the domba with onions. Sweet and sloppy. Reminded me of English food! Some might like it though. Service friendly with small (car) parking space right in front, but plenty at the golf course right next door. So, if you're hungry, want something generally tasty and on a budget here is the place to come!

At night, mosquitoes are a problem here. The riverside location have a pleasant water sounds. The garden is cool and green with a stream running through it, so perfect for you to take photos. It's romantic when I saw many couples have candlelight dinners here. It feels just like a cafe in a forest with quite ambience. But if cigarette smoke bothers you, avoid this place. Since it's outdoors with no air conditioning, most people smoke. The large fans only spread the smoke around more.

Surprisingly good! I ordered a beef hotplate and the beef was tender, chewy and delicious. The serving is also quite huge. Inside was quite large and there was a billiard table and children's playground. Parking is quite large for cars and scooters.

Positives are the staff was friendly and helpful and spacious parking space. The food was okay but not really justifying the price. Highlight of this place was the place itself. It reminds me of myself building a place in The Sims game with money cheat. Huge renaissance style paintings, huge statues, high ceilings. I used to throw all of the expensive decorations in the place and this place is like the real life of my The Sims houses back then. The music also loud. I’m sure this place built with all the best intentions, it just doesn’t doing it for me. Another note was the restroom which sadly was not built extravagantly like my The Sims builds. It can be a little bit more cleaner, brighter and better air circulations those will help the place tremendously. I’d still recommend people to visit tho, just for them to experience my The Sims-like decorations in real life.

One of must visit resto in Denpasar area! This resto was totally convenient with their semi-classic concept. I really love their interior because it was totally cool and elegant! There are many spot for your instagramable picture. They provide indoor and outdoor seating area that you can choose. All staff were humble, helpful and polite. The food and beverage they over are really worthy (worth the price, portion, and the taste haha). They also have large parking area so you dont need to be worry for it. It was a great dinning experience for me and my friends😍

First thing you feel as you enter the place is the interior similarity to another hype restaurant in Canggu (anyone who's been there would agree straight away!) Menu variations and price is quite good for the area, being more in the middle of Denpasar. We ordered western and Indonesian food (not pictured) and I would say the Indonesian food is a better choice. Their western menu is a too small in portion and taste is mediocre. Could have done better with the cleanliness in the rest room.

Craving for batagor and bought some from Sajiwa. The siomay and batagor from hawkers could be better. But perhaps because it was a take out and I ate it 2 hours later. We ordered the Mie Yamin Manis and Mie Ayam Jamur Bakso, and honestly… best mie ayam I’ve had in Bali so far. The noodles were chewy, the toppings were super generous, and the seasoning was just perfect — salty, savory, delicious! Also tried the cilok, and the peanut sauce? Sowww good !! Even better with siomay! For sure coming back. Only small note: i would in love even more if the sambal can a bit spicier. But overall? So worth it!

They have authentic taste of Yamien Bandung here. The broth was light but very tasty. I like the noodle textures mixed with the seasoning. All menu is good, also they have special drink from West Java in a bottle, I forgot the name. This place located in a very busy but small street in Denpasar, so it’s pretty hard to find parking especially with cars. Place is small but comfy, sometimes you have to share tables with others but for me it’s okay. Service excellent, range price is affordable and I will definitely come again to try the other menu in Sajiwa.

Next Level Noodles in town! great interior with worth value of money, they have great vibes (so cozy) even though there is no air conditioner and small, the noodle so yummy! (many said authentic taste of Mie Yamien Bandung), friendly and humble waiters/server (great service), clean toilet, what else? hahaha just try their wifi and the connection quite good. unfortunately they have no parking lot, motorcycle can park in front of the resto.

Our dinner at Cork was a hit and miss. I must say the Cod fillet was excellent, everything on the plate was sublime and properly seasoned. The escargot and tuna steak was good. Unfortunately we find the calamari underwhelming and overpriced considering the amount and quality, very standard. The fried rice was also a miss for me. Didn't order the wine, but they have extensive wine collection, so it's a plus of you're looking for wine.

The staff are warm and welcoming. attentive without ever being overbearing. They even asked about food allergies before taking our order, which meant a lot to me. Often I feel like raising my dietary needs makes me a “bother,” but here it was such an easy, natural conversation. I’ve also appreciated their incredible patience as I practice my Indonesian. They always meet my efforts with encouragement, and we celebrate together when I manage to get a phrase right. It has made my time here feel even more special. What keeps me coming back, though, is the atmosphere. Cork is spotlessly clean, and the indoor/outdoor layout is perfect. You never feel like you’re boiling in the humidity or shivering under blasting air conditioning — it just feels balanced, comfortable, and inviting. Thank you to the whole team at Cork for making my stay in Bali such a joy. This place has truly been a highlight of my trip.

Had "minestrone soup" with sour dough baguette for late lunch. Atmosphere is great comfortable distance from each table and interrior was very good, almost perfect for me. However there is a big "BUT" about their meal. I know there is a minestrone soup without tomato but this soup is not minestrone at all. They put water in to the pot, added cutted fresh vegetables and boiled like for 5 mins. No vegetable boullion. And Vegetables are still crunchy, not soft enough. Never had succh bad taste soup ever. I am the person who is happy to pay more for good food but poor quarity food makes me almost upset. I am very sure Italian people get mad at this soup,too. Pleade learn about basic of how to make minestrone soup once again. It is almost like crime to charge people with that soup, I tried to make it better taste with left over tomato sauce but it got worse(of course ). I decided to cook nice minestrone soup when I get back to home. I was looking forward to have nice dinner in here but I changed my mind now and decided to look for another restaurant.

Warm beer (bottled), tough steak, to the point we returned the rib eyes we ordered, it was inedible. The pasta was not cooked properly and completely missed the mark. When we asked for a bucket of ice to cool beers down we were given litterally warm beers straight from the case. The desert was both terrible (creme caramel) yet the creme Broulee that was delicious! All of the sides were really yummy. The second steak (strip loin/ny) was ok, but nothing great. Not what you'd expect for the prices. Pasta was undercooked and the ragu was super tough. The tuna tare tare was quite good, nothing special though. Staff were very forgetful, having to remind staff about drinks orders 2 or 3 times. After we had a few issues, the manager looked after our table, Anthony had amazing customer service and did everything in his power to make the dinner experience better including comping our deserts and some beers. He also made sure beers had been put in the freezer so toward the end of our meal we had a cold beer each. The pilsner on tap was quite nice, and cold! It is such a shame, the restaurant is beautiful, it could amazing but it was a very sub par experience. I would not recommend this restaurant unless the reviews changed, maybe depending on your order, too.

Been to Sisterfields twice and both times I was greeted by the very enthusiastic, warm and friendly staff who's service was definitely noteworthy. While their food and drinks were good I did find it to be overpriced especially just their regular bottled water. I highly recommend their breakfast sandwich and gnocchi though as they are very delicious despite their small portion. As for their baked goods selection; I personally did not enjoy their banana bread though it did look appetising. The outdoor seating is beautiful but my recent visit I sat inside by the window and was bothered by many flies, though this can't be helped as I was close to the door it was an irritation nonetheless.

We had breakfast today at Sisterfields Café, and everything was absolutely delicious! We tried the Turkish eggs — perfectly done and full of flavor — along with the köfte on the side, which was also amazing. Definitely a must-try combination! We also had the truffle eggs on sourdough, and it was another hit — rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. You can tell from the crowd that this café is a favorite spot for many people to start their day in Bali. I also liked how organized everything is — when you arrive by motorbike, the staff outside kindly guide you and help with parking. Overall, great food, friendly service, and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We ordered the Egg Benedict and pancakes, and both were absolutely delicious—flavorful, well-prepared, and totally satisfying. A special shoutout to our server Ruby! There weren't a lot of meat in the pasta. I liked that the pasta was a bit tangy to offset the rich taste of the short ribs in tomato. Would prefer the portion to be a little bigger as I was still hungry after. Pulled pork charcoal roll: pork was tender. Goes well together with the slaw. Charcoal roll was soft and fluffy. Comes with fries. Simple yet satisfying Truffle scrambled eggs: can't go wrong with scrambled eggs on toast. Crispy potato bits on top complements the toast with a nice crunch. Flowers on top were visually pleasing. Truffle oil totally alleviated it. Service was average. Crew wasn't the most attentive but overall it was a pleasant experience.

Decided to visit Mama San after seeing it recommended across social media. The restaurant has a beautiful setup with a stylish, comfortable ambience, and the service staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming — definitely a strong point of the experience. We ordered the dishes they recommended (as shown in the pictures), but the food unfortunately didn’t live up to expectations. Although served hot, the deep-fried items weren’t crispy at all — the batter felt soft and lacked the light crunch you would expect. The flavours were also surprisingly muted, without the punch or depth that Mama San is usually known for. For a place with such a strong reputation, the dishes tasted flat and one-dimensional. Overall, it’s a lovely place with great service and atmosphere, but the food needs more attention to texture and flavour execution to match its hype.

Was in the Seminyak area and decided to head here for Lunch based solely on having eaten at a number of the owners restaurants in the past both in Bali and Australia. Not disappointed at all. Had 3 smaller dishes as Starters and my favourite was the Fish Cakes, but the Betel Leaf Chicken was excellent as well. The chicken stir fry was lovely and fragrant and enough spicy heat to enjoy. Impeccable service and in a wonderful building and great comfortable seats. So glad I was able to make time for lunch amd didnt disappoint

Asian restaurant with an atmosphere and vibe we really love. We booked for dinner and they do require a deposit for reservations, just FYI. The food selections are fusion style. We tried several items and they were good, familiar flavors but elevated. The only dish we didn’t really enjoy was the Supermie. We thought it was their signature noodle, but it turned out to be more like instant noodles cooked with toppings like cheese and other fusion additions, and you can still tell. It was okay, but not our favorite. Overall, it was a nice dinner. Thank you.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing - the food, the service and THE BEST MARGARITAS in Bali! I cannot recommend this venue enough! The food was absolute perfection! Everything we ordered was cooked to absolute perfection. But gosh the spiced ginger margarita stole the show. As Aussies we love a spicy margarita but struggle to find one remotely close to a margarita in Australia but these were better than what we would get at home for half the price. The upper deck is quiet and breezy with a beautiful ambiance. We are excited to go back and do it all again before with leave Sanur. You really must try this beautiful Greek restaurant for truely amazing Greek food.

Most definitely one of our favourite restaurants in Sanua. Fortunately for us we are staying a short walking distance from Three Monkeys. The food is delicious with generous portion servings. The presentation is first class. There is fabulous choices on the menu. We have always found the service to be very attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This was one of our favourite places to eat during our time in Sanur. It is in a lovely quiet part of the beach, you can sit inside under cover or on the sand. Eating a meal with an ocean view felt very special! The food was great (we loved the healthy breakfast and the potato chunks) and service very friendly.

The genius cafe became our canteen in Sanur, by far the most welcoming place in all of Sanur for food and drinks either for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff is simply awesome, the food in good quantity and with outstanding quality for a very affordable price.

Wow! So glad I picked Genius for my 1st meal in Bali! Very fresh, healthy and delicious tasting ginger lemon fish and a dragon fruit smoothie. I highly recommend this dish. It’s a thick white fish served with potatoes, bok choy, spinach, avocado and just full of flavor. Also the staff are great, music is fantastic and you can sit inside or out on the beach. This is the best place in Sanur for me because: 1. I had my first lunch in town here!🤗 2. The dishes are well-cooked and the portions are generous. Everything is honestly fresh and delicious. 3. You might meet some small, friendly stray dogs here — they behave very gently. By the way, the check is more than affordable. PS The coffee here is also exceptional. There are always different kinds of cakes and ice cream on the menu.✌️ Didn't I mention the marvellous sea view?

I always ordered nasi goreng to test a new place. It was 4.5 stars at this place. The staff is funny and attentive. The bathroom is spotless. The price is quite reasonable. The portion was perfect and the shrimp crackers were very yummy. I asked for the spicy version and they actually delivered at the right level of spice, very amazing. They only accept cash but the number of expats here totally speaks for its reputation. Highly recommended this place.

I visited this lovely lunch spot during my trip to Bali, and the food truly stood out. The place itself was very cute. Even though i don’t like pancakes, these were unforgettable, thick, soft, hearty, yet sweet and chewy in the best way. I still think about them. We also tried the falafel, which, while not entirely authentic, was surprisingly tasty and refreshing. The vibe and service were a bit flat but that wasn’t a big problem. And even though they were very polite. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Watercress Batu Belig is an incredible place, perfect for breakfast or lunch. We decided to have brunch and tried a variety of delicious dishes on the menu. They offer a wide range of coffee and tea options, and we opted for long black coffee, which was absolutely delightful. Uma, our friendly server, was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the drink and menu options. The entire staff was kind and attentive. The Boujee Scramble was a standout dish. The whipped truffle eggs were perfectly cooked, with the ideal balance of scallions and mushrooms. Sourdough toast is an excellent accompaniment and there are several options. We also enjoyed scrambled eggs, roasted tomatoes, bacon, and ham, all served piping hot. It was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a long time. Feeling adventurous, we decided to order something extra. Uma’s recommendation was spot on—the Coconut & Passion Fruit Pancakes (2) are a must-try! The pancakes were incredibly light and fluffy, and the passion fruit and candied coconut toppings were simply divine. The coconut ice cream added the perfect finishing touch. Here are a few recommendations: 1. Don’t miss out on Watercress—you won’t regret it! 2. Look for Uma—she is a great host and will steer you around the menu properly. 3. Order the pancakes—you won’t regret it! We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Watercress Batu Belig, and we want to express our deepest gratitude to Uma and the staff for making our visit so memorable.

Satisfied my craving for Açaí bowl even though it wasn’t the morning. They were kind enough to check and make it for me. Other menu items looked great too and I ended up getting lamb kofta as well. It was great! Atmosphere was nice and relaxed. I will return soon to try other items.

Watercress is the best place to have classic egg dishes. I started my day with Benny Brunch - Two perfectly poached eggs over toasted english muffins with spoons + spinach + avocado + sauteed mushrooms + fruits along with Iced Long Black Coffee. The way everything came together as a dish was a treat to the eyes, taste buds & my belly.

We arrived at this place around 11:40am and it was already quite crowded, with a short queue. The staff took our order and payment first before seating us, which helped streamline the process. Most customers seem to go for the combo set, which includes the restaurant's signature items like crispy pork skin, fried pork belly, and pork liver. However, the portions for each are quite small—just one piece of pork skin, two pieces of pork belly, and one piece of liver, which felt a bit limited. The sauces were a nice addition. The red chili was mild, while the green chili packed more heat and had a great flavour. The fried long bean with pork was a standout dish for me—flavourful and well-cooked—but some of my friends found it too spicy. I wasn’t a fan of the fresh coconut water, as they only serve young coconuts here. It lacked the strong coconut flavour I prefer, and tasted slightly sour and unusual to me. Overall, I can see why this restaurant is popular—the food quality is good, though it didn’t quite blow me away. It’s definitely worth a visit, but it helps to go in with the right expectations.

Room for improvement on service (queue) and order-payment management, to be honest I am not a type of queueing for one plate of meal, so may consider add more cashier.

Can see there was a long queue outside the shop, the staff will serves what you want first in order to make the order faster, need to make payments first before going inside to find a seat. One of the most well-known babi guling place located on Sunset Road. For a popular tourist destination, I still consider their price to be friendly. However, although the taste of their food was great, it isn’t really something to write home about, so I wouldn’t go out if my way to eat it if I’m staying far away.

I can say this is the best babi guling in Bali. the crispy pork is so tasty full of spices and full of flavours. I ordered spesial pisah which comes with more pork meats and separate rice and soup. it's fast serving even though the restaurant is so busy. no need to wait long if you are hungry. price is reasonable and actually much cheaper than the other overhyped babi guling. do yourself a favour and eat babi guling here. no need to look for other places

We ordered off the a-la carte menu as we weren’t hungry enough for the full tasting menu, and didn’t take a lot of photos because we were enjoying the food, but it was quite possibly the best dining experience we have ever had. The food was absolutely exceptional, and incredibly generous with starter snacks, palate cleansers between courses, as well as petit fours to finish. The tiramisu for dessert was a real standout, and we loved the theatre of having it put together in front of us. On the pricey end for Indonesia but about half of what we’d pay for similar quality food and service elsewhere in the world. So excellent value for money in my opinion. The service was without fault, combining the professionalism of fine dining with the warmth of Balinese culture. The owner/head chef Maurizio even came over to our table and chatted with us for a few minutes and was very warm and humble. I have dined in several Michelin star restaurants around the world, including some of the European big names, and this place easily matches the standard of any of them. Such an underrated gem, and we will be recommending to anyone we know coming to Bali. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I celebrated my birthday at Mauri, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is elegant and intimate, and the service was exceptional—attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful. We chose the Signature 5-Course Tasting Menu with wine pairing, and every dish was beautifully presented and perfectly balanced. We began with house-made canapés and freshly baked focaccia paired with Prosecco. The tuna tartare was bright and fresh, followed by a memorable Parmigiano ravioli in onion consommé—refined, comforting, and full of depth. The cod with tomato, capers, and potato espuma was perfectly cooked and paired wonderfully with Pinot Noir. Dessert was especially special: a tableside tiramisu that felt personal and celebratory, paired with a lovely dessert wine. The evening ended with Mauri’s house-made coffee liqueur and bonbons, a beautiful final touch that made the night feel complete. Every detail—from the flavors to the wine pairings and the thoughtful service—was seamless. A truly memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for a special occasion or simply a remarkable meal.

Always a pleasure to goto Mauri. Excellent service, food and ambience. Certainly a benchmark for Bali. Their extra nibbles are always delicious. Thoroughly recommended without hesitation. My only critique would be that the lamb saddle wasnt a saddle (am a huge fan of lamb saddles and was very curious to see how they would present it, it is an extremely versatile cut of lamb), it was 2 'noisettes' of lamb (eye of the cutlet), was nice, not as elevated as their other dishes.

We took the signature tasting menu with the wagyu. Our waitress was Lala and she was fantastic, responsible and very nice. The service was 10/10. We got some “welcoming” dishes that were amazing and then they started the tastings according to the chosen menu - it was fantastic. The only things - it was a bit hot there at some point, the waitress checked it and reduced the temp in the AC + the bread was not needed at all IMO so don’t get full from it. It is very expensive compared to other restaurants in Bali, but the most special. Consider to go there only for special occasion.

We had a wonderful experience dining here for our anniversary. The atmosphere and food were both amazing — definitely worth the price for such a special occasion. Bima, one of the staff, greeted us so warmly and kindly. When he found out we were Korean, he even used a translator to speak to us in sweet Korean, which really touched our hearts. His kindness and attention made our celebration even more memorable. The restaurant also surprised us with a lovely complimentary cake, which made the evening perfect. Thank you for making our anniversary such a happy and unforgettable experience! 💕

First time trying Sate Babi Bawah Pohon in Badung — a legendary spot for pork lovers in Bali! We ordered the Nasi Babi Guling, Nasi Goreng Merah, and two portions of Sate Babi, and everything was packed with flavor. The sate babi was juicy, tender, and perfectly caramelized with that sweet-smoky balance. The Nasi Babi Guling came with all the classic sides and spicy sambal that made every bite addictive, while the Nasi Goreng Merah was fragrant and full of that signature local taste. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and service was quick. A true Bali classic that’s absolutely worth the visit — I’ll definitely be back.

Definitely a place for those who want to good taste of how the locals like their spices. The lines here get quite long so come early to order. Not much in selection of dishes but you get quality over quantity here. Seating is limited for big crowds but there’s ample seating for couples. Remember to bring lots of water or order something to quench your thirst and the spices and it can be quite spicy for the faint of heart. You’ll get your food served to you but do remember what you ordered as they may forget a dish or two. Note: for those who can’t take spice, try their satay. It’s quite good and does go well with rice. Their veggies are loaded with chili padi, you’ve been warned.

The place now is spacious, got a parking lot. Food is nice good the satay is the main star, i tried their sam2 it's also quite nice. Unfortunately the facilities is not quite taken care. The toilet is quite stinks, and the wastafel seems broken. Well minor one. But at least the food is great. Place way better from the old one. And be prepared for cash or using QRIS they didn't accept any card payment which is a negative point for me. Anyway food is okay and delicious gotta try it.

Tried this warung bread the australian consulate. It looked good from outside and the prices were very reasonable. The drinks are good but the food is subpar. Had the fried clams which were dried and overcooked. The fried squid and shrimp were the same. Service was good until they brought my food covered in sauce even though I asked for sauce in the side and repeated it many times. Not a place if return to unless it was for a drink

Food was good but I felt the price dictated the food should have been better. A bit over priced for what it is. The food is not bad its very good, just not as good as the bill. Atmosphere amazing, staff very helpful and polite, service is great.

I came to this restaurant and order for takeaway and pay the bill. i was tell them (3 staff on service table) to take my order to my car when ready. And their agreed. After 45min my order never came to me i was thinking they still preparing my order. i came to their desk again to ask my order it was READY yet on behind cashier table and food was cold, which is kitchen staff made the food as fast as order came to them. But their services staff very slow and not professional. Restaurant wasnt busy i know it because i was waiting more than 40min. Take away Customer is important as customer dine-in too. And we still have to pay for 15% tax&services. But no service.....

Surprisingly delicious local cuisine! We have lunch here and very surprised by how authentic and delicious all the food here. For salad and starter we try Urab, cah kangkung and plencing kangkung, all is authentic and very flavorful, the main dish we try grilled prawns, grilled carps, chicken and fried tempeh. It’s just amazingly delicious, the shrimp paste with Balinese herbs and spice really bring this food into another level. The ingredients are so fresh and the staff very friendly.

Visited for lunch at this open-air spot in Bali, but the experience left much to be desired. Despite the pleasant atmosphere, the price doesn't align with the portion size. The dishes were disappointingly lackluster, particularly the grilled prawn and clams, which lacked flavor compared to Jimbaran. The only highlight was the sauteed water spinach. To top it off, I discovered a fly in my tofu, completely ruining my appetite. While the manager offered apologies and a complimentary fruit platter, it doesn't make up for the hygiene lapse. Removing the fried tofu and tempeh from the bill felt like a necessity rather than a goodwill gesture. In conclusion, I strongly advise against this place. The cost doesn't justify the portions, and the taste falls short of expectations. Hygiene concerns further mar the overall dining experience.

There is nothing wrong with this place. It is humble but a great center. Good cinema, good restaurants, decent clothing stores. Like I said, humble. Yet a great place. Clean, welcoming. Check out Ko, a great Chinese restaurant, and the local vendors on the first floor, as a standout part of the mall.

I have tried their menus since 2001, surprisingly the quality of taste is still the same, even the venue also not much change. The owner lady still there hope she’s always healthy. Every time i come to Bali, this is a must visit eat place. Also they open early like start from 7am even better. 😍 If you are a big eater 1 portion is never enough. The sate i can say quite small (I don’t mind because the taste is superb). I ordered: 2 portions sate 3 portions bakwan (meatballs with broth) 2 portions steamed rice 2 glasses es jeruk (mandarin squash with ice) 1 glass sweet ice tea Total Rp. 234.300,-

Warung Little Bird is such a charming little spot in Bali! 🌿🐦 I stopped by for just a light snack — French fries with fresh orange juice and a cold Bintang beer — and it was perfect. The fries were crispy, the juice tasted fresh, and the beer was the ideal way to relax. What really stood out to me was the atmosphere. The place is cozy and filled with quirky, colorful decorations that make it feel very warm and welcoming. It has that true warung charm — casual, laid-back, and friendly. You see a mix of locals and travelers enjoying their meals, which makes it even more lively. Even though I only tried a snack this time, the menu looked delicious and reasonably priced. I definitely want to come back to try their full dishes next time. If you’re looking for a relaxed spot with good vibes and authentic Bali spirit, Warung Little Bird is the place to be! 🍽️✨

I'm not sure why we have never stopped at little Bird Warung before, but better late then never! This little Warung is packed with charm and atmosphere, not to mention cold beer and delicious food. We arrived early however by 6:30pm they were having to turn people away. I will definitely be going back for many more visits. I rate the "Special Nasi Goreng" 10/10 the best we have ever had!

We came back twice in two days for the nasi goreng and mie goreng as it was delicious!! A great warung with happy smiling people and good food. Would recommend.

One of the best price-quality ratios we found in Sanur. Just some steps away from Icon Mall Little Bird offers a cozy little restaurant with great indonesian/balinese food.

Target audience is western tourists with tourist standard price, but is still affordable for locals. Got two of their signature burgers and they were pretty tasty. Caesar salad was somehow warm so that was weird. Rosella tea was delicious I would recommend that to anyone. I think their strength is in Nasi Goreng and other Indonesian dishes but I did not try it. The place is on the roadside so expect some vehicle noises.

This little warung is so cute. Staff are friendly and food is good. I went there for lunch and then based in the experience booked for 11 of us for an evening meal. Service was great, food was awesome, beer was cold. Prices were very reasonable.

Oh my goodness, my first meal, the Calamari pineapple, was amazing. So very chilli hot, but my palate adjusted, and I was able to eat and enjoy it all. The Calamari was very chewy, but then maybe that's how they eat their calamari? Still, the flavours were so very good. There was lots of onion and capsicum, too. Their fresh juices are very good also, along with their smoothies. My daughter had the Mahi Mahi fish and vegetables and then ordered it the next time we were there. I think the bill was about $23 for the 3 of us. The following day, I ordered Nasi Goreng veg because I needed to slow down my digestive system but also ordered a glass of the Hatten white wine. As I had only previously tasted the Two Islands Savignon Blanc, I was pleasantly surprised with the very fruity white that went very well with the Nasi Goreng. My son-in-law had chicken satay, and that also was very tasty. So, for 3 of us, including water, soda, coke, smoothie, food, and wine, was $35. Big serves of food too and no + +. My nasi Goreng, water, and wine worked out to $AUS11.25!

Lovely experience overall 👌🏻 My samosa and traditional curry-coconut chicken dishes taste was divine… The pace of arrival of the first and next meals was very well arranged, spices well, very good. One of my favourite places to eat in Sanur. Over the years I have tried much on the menu and have never been disappointed. I especially love their tuna dishes, Caesar salad, Prawn and Avocado Salad and the Beef Carpaccio. Service is impeccable and staff super friendly.

The food was lovely & reasonable priced. However, it was a little pricey once they added on their tax & service fee. The service was good & l like the little extra starter they give you. I had beef salad the first time & pasta the second time l visited. The food comes out pretty quickly & you don't need to wait. Overall, l like it here & would definitely visit again.

Honestly one of the best overall dining experiences I’ve ever had. (We eat out a lot! So this is a genuine compliment!) It was busy but we were greeted by beautiful smiles by all the lovely ladies serving. The kitchen is open to view: always a good sign! The menu is modern European and traditional Indonesian. It’s expansive with lots of choice. Drinks arrived quickly as did a complimentary deconstructed bruschetta with what I suspect was home made bread. Delicious! Deli was our waitress and she was so beautifully engaging; and a true professional - what a delight. The lumpia and avocado prawn starters were fresh and superb in their taste & presentation. The red snapper and chicken Lolita main courses were full of flavour and both cooked perfectly. Desert was fresh fruit and a simple vanilla ice cream to round off our meal. Arak cocktails to finish off our night. Perfection! The bill was incredible value for money. I cannot wait to come back! Thank you to the whole team at Mona Lisa.

I finally got into Mona Lisa (1st night was at 7pm and told they were full. 2nd night went at 6.30pm and got a table out the back under the metal roof - not as authentic but beggars can’t be choosers). Nice to get complimentary bread and diced tomato. For starters I got the spring rolls which were beautifully presented in a pastry basket and came with a bowl of sauce. For main I got the mixed sate which came in a cute terracotta charcoal burner. The meat was very tender but the peanut sauce missed a hint of spice. I got a glass of wine which for 70k a glass is pretty normal. But the serving size was much smaller than I’ve had elsewhere. The pic is the glass without having taken a sip.

Very popular restaurant book a table or you may not get in. 10/10 we had spare ribs that fell off the bone, pork cutlets Alla mona lisa were tender and apple pie with ice cream delicious

We have eaten at this place in the past, each time we come back to sanur we go for dinner. Tonight's food was the best meal I have eaten this time in Sanur. The freshness, flavour and appearance was second to none. The complimentary bread and tomatoes and basil appetiser was amazing, fresh warm bread and fresh flavours of tomatoes and basil just what you need to start your meal. The staff where awesome, very attentive, friendly and smartly presented. Service was very quick. Sitting outside watching the world go by with a light breeze and candle light. Music was perfect for dining and not to loud you can't have a conversation with your dinner date. Thankyou for a lovely meal and a great night
