With a 15-year-old and an 11-year-old in tow, keeping everyone engaged and well-fed is crucial for a successful day trip packed with sightseeing. Finding the right spot for lunch or an early dinner is essential – it needs to be welcoming, offer variety to suit different ages and tastes, provide a comfortable break, and ideally, be conveniently located amidst our exploration route. Rivo Oradea, situated charmingly within the city, quickly became our chosen spot, and we left feeling it was an excellent decision that perfectly complemented our Oradea adventure. Stepping into Rivo, after a morning spent admiring the Black Eagle Palace and wandering along the Crișul Repede riverbank, felt like finding a little oasis of calm and pleasant ambiance. The decor strikes a nice balance – it’s modern and stylish enough to feel a bit special, but not so overly formal that we felt out of place with two kids who were eager to rest their feet and recount the morning's sights. There was a comfortable buzz about the place, a mix of locals and other visitors, contributing to a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. Finding a suitable table for four was easy, and the space felt open and airy, which is always a plus when you're looking for a relaxing break mid-journey. The service we received at Rivo was genuinely noteworthy, especially from a family perspective. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing, patient as we navigated the menu with varying preferences from teenager to pre-teen, and quick to offer suggestions when asked. They were friendly towards the children, acknowledging them directly when taking orders, which made them feel valued rather than just being "the kids." As for us parents, we decided to explore different sections of the menu. One of us chose a pasta dish, which was rich and flavourful, clearly made with fresh ingredients. The other went for a main course featuring chicken, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. We also shared a starter, a vibrant salad, which was fresh and a nice contrast to the main dishes. The quality of the food across all four plates was consistently high. Portions were generous but not overwhelming, ensuring everyone was satisfied without feeling excessively full, which is important when you still have sightseeing planned. It was clear that care was taken in the preparation and presentation of each dish. This restaurant has such a nice, relaxed holiday atmosphere – perfect for a summer evening. The staff were really friendly, polite, and clearly well-trained. Our server made us feel welcome and was happy to answer any questions or offer recommendations. The food was fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. Even though the prices are slightly higher, the overall experience definitely justifies it. The entire place was spotless – from the dining area to the bathrooms – and the decor was clean, modern, and inviting. It’s a place where you feel comfortable, well taken care of, and able to fully enjoy your meal. Spoon is a very nice place to have a sit and enjoy the river view and their great foods. It is nicely decorated and pretty spacious. The terrace can be closed and even has heating. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was great. I had heard many great things about the place, and it was actually up to par. Be warned: the food portion are rather large. We enjoyed some nice and proper Fish and Chips, a great Double Cheeseburger, some Mozarella Sticks (the cheese pull was very satisfying), Lava Cake and Mousse. All tied together by some nice Lemonades (they only serve small ones here, 280 ml). The prices are not that expensive and the food and view are totally worth it.

We randomly find this place today with my friends. The view is super on the terrace. The restaurant is quite big and clean as well. The food was huge portion and tasty, freshly made. I really liked their black nuggets and the onion rings! Only smalll negative thing is; they don't speak English or Hungarian. Or at least not the waitress who was around. She did understood everything what we have said but not really replied or replied in Romanian (we did communicate in English). We needed to ask for an English menu - what they had. But needed to ask. Also, not really friendly service when we payed inside.

We go here every time we come home,, absolutely amazing. Its decorated beautifully inside and it's even more beautiful sitting outside as its along the river. They have lush cocktails, yummy food, great service and all for a good price too! The picture of the view I took sitting from the top left corner outside, that's how best it is 😍

So I'll start this off by saying I had a great time here and would have given a 5/5 rating if it had been just me dining. The winter salad was delicious, the ambiance was chill and the fresh mix juice was great. They were also serving food at 10pm which we were surprised by. However my boyfriend ordered a burger and it was really gristly (he described it feeling like rolled up cardboard) and aside from this it was generally underwhelming. He didn't have the energy to complain about it so we just left feeling upset.

I liked this place: service was nice & the atmosphere was lovely. The food: 8/10 Starter: Sushi was okay, especially for a restraint without being with Asian theme 9/10 Main dish: The Crispy Beef ( second photo) was really sweet, wasn't quite my taste and it was a bit disappointing that the stuff did not mention it's an Asian style dish. 7/10 Main dish: Fish&Chips( photo3) had delicious potatoes and dip, but the fish was not seasoned at all. I don't like salty dishes, but a bit of season would have really helped the fish. Overall it was really good. 9/10 Loved that the menu was not crowded, instead they focus on less main dishes, starters, desserts.

Its our second time at the Spoon Restaurant, and our 3rd time in Oradea. We really like the ambiance and the food they serve here. Also, the view is quite beautiful over the river. This restaurant doubles as a bar which is also very nice. The prices are also as expected. Be ready to wait a while for the food.

Excellent view - if you get the right table. I specifically asked for a table on the edge with a view in my reservation and they assured me, but upon arrival they only allowed us to sit at a center table despite 5 or 6 tables on the edge being available. However, after a little while, they allowed us to move. Besides this, service is terrific and they are very polite. Food is nice.

We had a good experience at Allegria. The restaurant is quaint and has an outdoor terrace and plenty of interior seating. The food was delicious and the menu items are varied enough between local, national, and international dishes. Our waiter seems a little bit lost at times but overall it was a great experience.

This restaurant is in a great location, perfect if you want to be close to the city center. The food is good, but it is a bit pricey for what you get, in my opinion. That said, the menu has some tasty options, and the dishes are well-prepared. The waitress actually work like they are on target!!! I have asked specifically to use the toilet before I have set down, as soon as I came back the waitress asked me ‘What can I bring you?’ Like I have taken the Menu with me in the Ladies Room. I have asked for additional time to review the Menu and she kept coming every 2 min like ‘Order ones and be done with it!’. We ordered 2 Mangalita steaks (which is not the cheapest item in the menu) and came undercooked ( which Has been taken back to be well done after my personal preference - for which I am thankful). Despite the fact that the food was undercooked, had no flavour since seasoning was scares and the meat did not catch a smoky flavour from the grill. Prior to our order the same items, the steak was carefully prepared hence we have came back! Disappointed about the service and food!

Such a lovely place! Atmosphere is nice, they have a wide variety of products (coffee, pastries, tea, fresh juices, even matcha!) Everything was great, and the rose matcha was incredible! Would recommend, will come here again.

I have been recommended this place since ages ago, and finally managed to visit it. The food is as delicious as people say. I can vouch that I ate almost 1kg of pastries from here. I tried the english breakfast and it was excellent. Very friendly staff.

This is one of the few places in this country where I would return and try out something new. They serve everything from food, steaks, salads, sandwiches, deserts, specialty coffee, beer, bread. Is’s a whole ecosystem. But the meat - this is exceptional. The sauces, the coleslaw salad… drooling as I’m typing this. Please open the Bucharest place as well ❤️

The bakery in the castle atmosphere wise is better, but the same lovely panettone and babka is available here as well. If you are visiting and you can choose, go to the castle, if you live there, just enjoy whichever is closer to you. also: the kombucha selection looks good, however I prefer freshly/handmade over these tiny bottles as their lifespan is not so long

We had a delicious lunch in a crowded Saturday. You can find various types of food (pork, chicken, beef, vegetarian) and a large variety of desserts and also good quality bread. Strongly recommend! The kohlrabi from the soup was not well boiled, but it can happen sometimes.

We absolutely loved our experience at Piata 9! From the moment you walk through the doors, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and refreshing. The staff consistently greeted us with professionalism, and genuine smiles—something that’s rare to find in many other restaurants in town. The food was outstanding. We dined here multiple times and enjoyed everything from lunch and dinner to dessert, coffee, and fresh lemonade—all of which were delicious. We even took home some of their sourdough bread, which made for some fantastic sandwiches. The food was extremely mediocre and we would not recommend. The pork ribs and shnitzel came out at room temperature 😆…. We asked for a margherita pizza with olives on half of it… but what came out was a cheese pizza with half olives… I thought it was a mistake so I checked the menu , and no it wasn’t a mistake lol… the margherita pizza is listed as cheese and tomato sauce on their menu 🤦🏼‍♂️do you not know what a margherita pizza is? Anyway , very amateur restaurant in our opinion , there are much better places to dine in Oradea. We would 100% not recommend . 4.4/10 👎🏼

What an exquisite place! From the cozy atmosphere, the excellent service, and the perfectly-fused flavors, this restaurant is surely the whole package! It's hard to find a place that will rate such a high score in all the categories -- even the beer and the raspberry mule cocktail were just *chef's kiss*! A reservation is required (especially on weekend evenings) and the wait times (~25 min) are more than acceptable. Recommended for couples, families (kids included) or work dinners alike.

This is the best restaurant in Oradea. They have a wide variety of absolutely delicious food and very good wine. The place is sparkling clean and the staff is very nice and friendly. You should definitely try the Papanași, they are among the best I ever ate.

Interesting concept. I liked the interior design, the bar, the lemonade. Staff is young and knowledgeable. Food is good, pasta was a little bland and in too big portion. It was a bit too fancy than expected. The interior design looks great but the music was a bit too loud (it was Saturday evening and it felt like in the club). However, the food was delicious and the waiters tried to do their best even if there were many clients and few personnel to serve.

Unexpectedly good restaurant! I think this is mainly a locals place because when we went there they had a couple of parties happening at the same time, so the place was really busy. But even so, being that busy, the food came out fast, the waiters were prompt and respectful, the bathroom was clean, everything was as it should be, for a restaurant of this level.

We went there for lunch. The restaurant is very nice, the ambiance and the decor are amazing. Even the terrace looks so beautiful. The service was very bad, because they had some party on the terrace and they basically ignored us. The food was ok, nothing great. We ordered one sweet, and after almost 30 minutes, we asked another waiter if he could check for us what is happening with our order. Our waiter finally came to apologize that he forgot to place the order. What a bummer!

The food was pretty good, but the waiters could be friendlier and have better manners. The atmosphere is fine, as long as smokers are not allowed to smoke inside -- which is just what the personnel did. That was extremely irritating. Literally couldn't eat my food without coughing.

Nice exterior of the restaurant, a little bit warm in the summer. Food was delicious, nicely served, side dish on the next plate. Limonade was very good. Potatoes with quattro formaggi was something special which I didn't see elsewhere.

Good food. Had a pizza. Girlfriend had a soup and a nice salad. She insisted to have one slice of pizza. I was not amused. Anyhow I was not hungry after. In the evening we had a schmollll meal only. The bread that came with the soup was nice and fluffy

It was my first time here. The place nice, the staff is very ok, my ladies breakfast wasn t for my taste. But I will taste in the future also other types to have a better picture about the kitchen. The decoration is very original. It has also terrace.

This place was really awesome. Visited Oradea for the weekend and came here 2 times. It's a really cozy place and the atmosphere is so chilly. The food was great, good coffe and decent prices. Also, loved to play with the cats and I think it's the main reason I would visit again and again.

Sometimes I m think of getting two accounts. I will not do that. So nice wine. Good food. Lovely bread. Very nice bathroom the best of this autumn. Fair price. A bit of lack in the service. I don’t know why but I think some employees were hanging on the tables, but maybe I’m wrong. A bit oily some of the dishes. Lovely French fries. Great pickles. But still not a full five. This is a restaurant with breakfast menu, which is what we tried. The place is lovely, very chill and chick interior design which is cool without being snobby. The staff is very helpful, the menu modern and varied. Coffee is good and breakfast dishes we served (along with one dessert) were all delicious and great looking. You can find public parking spaces nearby.

Fantastic experience. Dropped in to ReWine for a quick lunch session, which turned into a great unexpected experience. The Romanian beef dumplings (the Romanian name escapes me at the moment) was delicious, and the smoked pork ribs are the best I've had in a long, long time. The waiter provided great wine recommendations based on our food and taste profiles (he demonstrated deep knowledge of the available wines, very impressed. All in all, I can safely say this is my favorite restaurant in Oradea and I will be back as soon as I'm in the city again.

The steak was ok, a bit too well done for me (asked for medium), but overall I see great potential for the restaurant. The location is very nice, in the City Fortress and everything clean. Also an observation: the prices a little bit too high.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere nestled within the castle walls. For the appetizer, we enjoyed chicken focaccia crostini, reminiscent of warm bruschetta. The duck duo as the main course is highly recommended; it was delicious. The pork cheek was well-prepared, though not extraordinary. Service deserves a perfect score of 10!

Superb restaurant inside the fortress of Oradea. Very nice and relaxing location, isolated from outside disturbances. The service and the food was great with big portions. Prices are not too expensive and the quality is great. As usual I've tried some T-bone steak and it was prepared as requested. The desserts also were delicious. They also have beer from the local brewery Bers Nova, so it's as fresh as it gets. While visiting the fortress you can make a quick stop here for some great food.

Nice place in the heart of fortress Oradea. I like the basic white color, the space seems open because of it. The menu it is variate, especially I liked the wine types from different wineries. They need to work a little bit on the time of serving and the preparing time of food. My burger was delicious but too much mayonnaise. It was a nice surprise from them a “martisor” as it was 1st of march. All over it was pleasant.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We waited almost an hour for our food, even though the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy at the time. What made it more frustrating is that we ordered simple dishes that are usually quick to prepare — soup, spaghetti, and chicken. Additionally, we were charged 14 for a Coca-Cola, even though the menu clearly listed the price as 12. The staff wasn’t rude, but the service felt disorganized and the pricing was not transparent.

We went there for lunch and had the 2 daily menues and a pizza. I was more than impressed: food was great, chicken breast cooked to perfection, fish was nicely served with some salad and the kids rated the pizza as 10/10. I loved the mussles with the spicy sauce! Sercvice was great and people very nice.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon around 5–6 PM. The indoor area was completely empty, and the garden was only about 50% full. We kindly asked for a larger table because we wanted to order several dishes, but the waiter refused, insisting we could only sit at a tiny two-person table—even though there were plenty of empty larger tables and no reservations (they told us over the phone they don’t even accept reservations). Reluctantly, we sat down because we were hungry. The service was chaotic—at least four different waiters/waitresses served us. One even commented “Are you going to eat all that?” when we ordered two pastas and a pizza, which was incredibly rude and unprofessional. We also waited ages for Parmesan while the waitress stood nearby chatting casually. The focaccia arrived last, in a basket meant for bread—not suitable at all. The table was too small for all the dishes (two pastas, pizza, chicken breast, potato, focaccia) making everything uncomfortable and messy. While the food was average at best, the service was a disaster. When we asked for the bill, the garden was almost empty. Clearly, the issue wasn’t about space—it was about attitude. One waitress was polite, but the rest of the staff were rude, dismissive, and made the whole experience deeply unpleasant. Totally disappointing. Mediocre food, terrible service, zero hospitality. Avoid at all costs.

It's already legendary in Oradea, the food is outstanding, but Cipri wasn't there and the service was a bit chaotic and visibly in a rush.

The best restaurant in Oradea and one of my favorites in the world. The whole menu is very complex and all the courses are incredible. Those who don’t understand cuisine in general should eat here, seriously. The fact that the location is touristy is negative for the restaurant. It deserves intimacy. Deeply recommended

Excellent food, great service, steep prices. Located in an old house on a quiet street, Graf is a restaurant with a long tradition in Oradea. The service is impeccable with multiple waiters available at any moment. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks, the dishes, and the availability of various ingredients. The food was excellent, from the appetizers to the dessert. We ordered multiple courses and each was brought to the table in reasonable time.

Graf serves delicious lebanese and international dishes. The restaueant is a very cozy, neat, clean, quiet and fancy restaurant. The staff is very professional and friendly. The dishes are delicious and the plating is very interesting. It seems that they have true chefs over there, cooking for their customers. There is a beautiful garden inside the restaurant with plenty of tables and seats. We ordered only lebanese dishes and they rocked! Dishes: Hoummus, phoenician labneh, batata harra potatoes (spicy), grilled halloumi, makanek, chicken liver with pomegranate sauce, fattoush, kebab bill karaz and of course kunafa. They have also home-made palinka made of plums.

So far the best experience in Oradea. The service was amazing and helpful, they managed to switch our place for a more comfortable one(without direct sunlight), they even have ashtrays for cigars. The place itself is very quiet and peaceful, just great to enjoy their even better food. Food was also great with big portions and amazing taste. From more traditional food to gourmet steaks they have a great variety. Highly recommended place for a good feast.

Maybe my expectations were set too high as I am trying to locate a place in Romania that serves great tartar, but I can't say this restaurant is what it's advertised as. The meal I has (tartar and pork ribs) was enjoyable overall, but the best thing I had was the side dish for the ribs - puree with truffle oil, the rest was just okay. They have a limited selection of drinks and only serve very poor beer on tap, the ambiance is pleasant and the service is polite and professional. Waiting time a bit long and the prices high for the food quality and quantity

What an exquisite experience! Rarely does one find a restaurant where there's nothing to complain about, but such was our dinner at Steak HUB! Fast and friendly service, huge portions and a great blend of flavors in everything we ordered. Thanks to their varied menu, it would be impossible to not find something you'll enjoy. The food is amazing. The cabbage sour soup is a must try. Our server was very kind and explained to us that the portions are huge. They have local beers and live music. What could yo want more? The terrace is huge and perfect on a summer evening. They were happy to charge my phone being the till.

Amazing place! The food at Hanul cu Noroc was so tasty and the portions were huge .You definitely won't leave hungry. There are so many choices on the menu, with plenty of different dishes and offers for everyone. I think this is the most popular and visited restaurant in the city. It is very large and spacious, with lots of space for waiting. The menu is very large, with lots of local food. There is a large selection of drinks, whatever you want. The taste is really good; I really liked what I tasted. The prices are very friendly. The downside is the very slow staff. It is practically impossible to find a parking space by car, as it is often busy. It is tidy inside. Cats often come, which pleases the eye. Choose food responsibly, as the portions are very large, or you will eat it all up. Good taste for everyone.

The soup was very good, but the fish with “grilled” vegetables wasn’t really grilled – it was just fried, though still tasty. The tomato salad was simply sliced tomatoes without any dressing, which was a bit disappointing. On the plus side, the staff speak English well, and the place was almost full (about 90% occupied), which shows it’s popular.

The place is more bodega style, the menu is very generous with options but it makes it more of a fast food choice and for that I must say, do not eat anything that's seafood related. My husband ordered a pizza, flat, and tasteless, the frozen one is better and cheaper. I ordered the octopus and potato salad ( don't order that) for 85 lei. 85 lei! For potatoes that were reheated ( cold in the middle) and 1 tentacle cut up into pieces. Who made the decision that that's a good menu choice? Sadly it is just an overpriced fast food joint.

The pizza was flat and disappointing, with no sign of a cornicione — that raised, airy crust that’s supposed to frame a good pizza. Instead, the edge was just thin, dry, and flavorless, making the whole experience feel rushed and careless. Definitely not what you’d expect from a proper pizzeria.

The burger was very good, the fries are fresh, not frozen, which is a big plus, you can customize your burger how you wish and you can also add whichever sauce you want. The location itself is not too big and don't wear your good clothes because there is a lot of smoke inside, but even the smoke smells good! Also, to the staff, you might consider NOT putting napkins under the big piece of paper that you put under the tray, because nobody sees them and so you are just wasting them. Also, consider replacing the little plastic sauce containers with reusable units! 5 stars and will come again when in Oradea!

Quite upset today about the service. I come to Oradea every month and make it a MUST to eat there. Ordered the buffalo cheese steak as usual,paid for it(same price as the non spicy) and told the lady less chilly as usual. I visited this restaurant and, honestly, was very disappointed. The interior is in terrible condition: old, worn-out furniture, cobwebs in the corners — everything looks neglected and poorly maintained. The atmosphere is far from welcoming. The service was just as bad. The waiters were completely unfriendly and sluggish, constantly walking back and forth past our table as if we weren’t even there. They didn’t even bring us the menus right away — we had to ask for them ourselves. When they finally came, their attitude was cold and uninterested. Rude behavior with zero willingness to help or explain anything. The menus themselves were a disaster: old, torn, dirty — it was unpleasant to even touch them. After that, we completely lost our appetite. Very disappointed with this place. I absolutely do not recommend visiting until they clean the place up and train the staff in basic hospitality.

These guys have no idea what basic hospitality means, place looked nice at first, but at a closer look, dirty not maintained. The pizza, weel any decent pizza cook can make a pizza, but nothing amazing, the waiter was just simply not present, took the order on the go, when asked question he answered that it seems that he will come back, I mean what the hell is this attitude, when I told him that he forgot my order, he cut me of when speaking, actually he did that with all of us. Anyway will not return to this place, if I spend my money I prefer to give it to a place that actually gives a cent about its guests.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this visit was truly unacceptable. We arrived well before closing time, yet the staff had already locked the bathroom—a full 60 minutes before they closed. My girlfriend asked politely to use it, but the woman working there was rude and dismissive, flat-out refusing to reopen it. To make things worse, there were no alternatives offered—no paper, no support, no apology—nothing. We were left in an incredibly uncomfortable and avoidable situation. This is basic hospitality, and they failed on every level. We won't be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values respectful service or basic human decency.

The atmosphere is quite nice. The food was good, a bit below under my personal expectations. The grilled shrimps pasta was good - usually I am a big fan of it - but… I would evaluate it as 8/10. Hugo had a stronger taste that I usually like it to have, although I asked for a little bit of syrup - 6/10. The burger was not as tasty as I was expecting. I personally do not recommend - 6.5/10.

Small place in a central location. Went there with my wife and son and we were very happy about what we experienced. The food is great, we've had some stake, home made gnocchi (really good ones), a soup and end up with tiramisu, all dishes were great! From taste to plating and even serving. The mint and ginger lemonade is also a good choice if you want something fresh but also a bit spicy because of the ginger. All in all it was a great experience and we would definitely try other dishes as well.

Such a lovely and very tasty food! We were so pleasntly supprised! The pumpkin soup was the bast that I tasted, ever! The price was ok also. I recomend this little and qute restoran. The only negative thing was that we had to eat otside (it was little bit cold outside) because the range hood didn’t work well and smoke of the food frying was allover the restoran.

Excellent food and service! The menu is limited, but everything we tried from the aubergine salad, ribs and chips to Romanian cheese pizza was very tasty and came in big portions. I want to mention especially the Romanian cheese pizza - for me this was a different take on the Romanian classic cheese pie. This is surely a place where we will eat again.

The food was good but the portions are huge. We tried the goulash and the horsemeat burger. They were very well prepared. The place can get rather loud and we were initially sat outside but they do not have a separate non smoking zone so we moved inside to get away from the tobacco smoke. The staff is friendly and the place is wheelchair accessible. Though a brewery the place is kid friendly and good for the entire family.

1 star is for them being unfriendly. I was a solo traveler. They didn't let me in, arguing that all the tables were reserved, but, in fact, probably I had a low return on investment. Judge for yourself from the photo how croweded they really were on a raining Tuesday evening, at 6 PM. I get it that you have to make a profit, but this is not the way. The second star is for them "helping" me find the excelent Japanese Restaurant located next door.

Delicious place to go for a meal. Such traditional fatty food. There is of course pizza as without them in Romania 😊. A large selection of beer is also available on tap. The food is delicious, the portions are good, and the prices are attractive. The service was pleasant. What I didn't like was that you can't split the bill 🤷‍♂️; it's annoying that someone has to pay for the whole company👎👎👎👎. The chairs could be more comfortable👎. Good location in the center itself. Today an extremely unpleasant situation happened. We were passing by this beautiful place when my child suddenly needed to use the restroom. The place was empty, just 1 table had customers, and I decided to be polite and asked the girl at the counter kindly if my child could use the toilet. To my surprise, she gave me a condescending look and rudely said that the restroom was only for customers. Okay — I bought a drink, even though that was already our plan: to order something and sit down in this new place we discovered. I travel all over Europe, and this was the first time I encountered such an unfriendly attitude toward a child and toward potential customers. By the way, the restroom was very dirty, and the girl who spoke to us so rudely refused to tell us her name. It’s a real pity that such a beautiful and stylish place completely lacks customer orientation, friendliness, and tolerance toward families with children. I sincerely hope the owner invests more time in staff training — and perhaps gifts them a good book on customer service

Delicious flat white (for a smaller cup, they call it gibraltar) from Ethiopian coffee with sour cocoa flavour and fruity aftertaste. Some interesting coffee for clean espresso - will try it next time.

The waitress has asked me if I would like Honey to my tea and I have answered NO ( see photos). As a human being, I do not understand the purpose of petty question if after all you still not respect my wishes upon not wanting something as a buying costumer! I have asked for a physical menu and they did not had since the Menu was remade during that time. The online version of the Menu is a struggle to brows since you need to scroll up for different types of categories and get out of that specific category if you want another one!To order literally took me 20 min since I had no overview upon the ingredients. The food as always excellent and the quality of ingredients always fresh! Due to the quality of the ingredient, I still not see from where comes the final price as prices are through the ROOF! Prices are higher than in Restaurants with the same profile in New York, London or Copenhaga!

Kintaro is one of the very few quality sushi restaurants in the region. I enjoyed every second we spent there, the atmosphere and the music is so relaxing. The food is exceptional. I've never eaten such a delicious and tasty ramen before, not even in Budapest! (Although Okuyama has the best sushi in Budapest). The Sushi boat was a nice, interesting way to present the sushi, and that was nice and fresh as well. We've also had a Kintaro tea, which to my surprise, was insanely delicious! The staff has good manners, they are really helpful and you don't need to wait long times for your dish. It's not cheap by any means. But if you love japanese cuisine, I can't recommend it enough! I love this place.

I have ordered a burger with french fries and a lemonade. The food came after 30 min with no cutlery ( i had to ask for them ) and I began to eat, and after 2 bites I have noticed that the interior of the meat was pink. So i asked the waiter if the color was supposed to be that way. In response the waiter took away my plate said that normally I would have been asked how i prefer the meat so the cook assumed that i want rare. In return the offered me a discount for my burger that they took away and they didn’t bring back my plate. The bill was written by hand because the cash register was broken. The french fries( as long as I had them) and the beverage were ok, but the service was terrible.

A really nice and cosy little restaurant & bar in Oradea's city centre, across from the famous Moon church. Comfy green/dark blue armchairs, QR code menus, and music in the background. So far, I've tried their pizzas and pasta, good 👍 😋. Something interesting to try is their warm ginger and orange lemonade, if done well, is almost like a tea infusion, perfect for chilli days.

We just had a small coffee break here but tiramisu was exceptional. Coffee was Illy which I don't like. The terrace has water sprays, great in the summer.

Really nice hotel. The room was big and clean. Loved the pizza. Breakfast was delicious. Everybody was very nice and friendly. A plus is the parking lot, really convenient.

A good option for a short stay. Very close to the border checkpoint Borș 2. For winter stay we had heat, hot water and thick duvets, so can't complain. The personnnel is very kind, but the rooms and furniture are a bit outdated. The food was okyish the day we had breakfast, but clearly some vegetables were not so fresh as one can see in the pictures. Overall, for the price and availability, I would recommend it.

I ordered a pork tomahawk and 80% of it was fat, 10%bone and 10% meat. This is absolutely unacceptable and the restaurant should be ashamed to serve such food. I had an exceptionally bad experience at this restaurant. Whilst the settings offer a beautiful atmosphere, the food itself was poorly prepared (duck breast was incredibly dry, the accompanying sauces inedible; fish was evidently frozen and not freshly prepared; tiramisu made from whipped cream, top of it half-covered only with cocoa), and the service itself was inconsiderate (my brother was given a butter knife to cut tomahawks, half of which was pure fat). Cherry on top: upon paying, they asked us if we’d like to tip 10, 15 or 20(?!?) percent. Would not recommend.

Bad service. We ordered coffee with lactose free milk. They gev us regular milk. It is very dentures to do that. After we told them about it, they made a new coffee, but it was not hot at all.

I would say, that for locals it might be a good dining experience, but there was a clear distinction between them and tourists (me). It was a bit crowded, at the end the male waiter was the most polite and he truly remembered. However, there were tables served quicker and faster than mine, in terms of food or drinks. Came here to try the Romanian specialty Mititei. Not as easy to find as you might expect, possibly due to the Hungarian history of the location. But I did find it here. Service was slow, but friendly. Beautiful interior.

Left the restaurant, still hungry. Chose one of the most expensive menus (38 Lei) and finished it within 3 Minutes.. Quite disappointing. Cocktail was also very small. But taste was ok and the music nice.

Local friend recommended this restaurant. Authentic Romanian cuisine, soup, and meat dishes were very tasty. Polite staff, the ceiling in the dining area is very pretty, very reasonable prices. I will go back again during my next visit.

I ordered it online and I had no problems. It was on my doorstep in like 20 minutes tops. The Hulk burger was good however we didn’t like the vegan one a lot. I think that’s on vegan tho :)

Tourist here. Plenty of vegan options, English no problem. We went for the vegan chicken (though we expected crispy it wasn't, but still delicious!) And the 911 burger, both a menu. The fries and wedges were well seasoned and crispy. Definitely the best burger I had that was not made by myself in a long time. Highly recommend!

Good food! Definitely a small little place - could be crowded, if you get there at the wrong time, but worth it. We all got vegan burgers, and they were pretty good. They weren't perfect - the lentil burgers were a bit overly soft, and don't expect the vegan chicken to taste exactly like chicken - but still very good. The fries are amazing, as well as the sauces. Would definitely come back!

The service here's very kind, polite and fast. The burger was delicious, and the portion of fries that came with it was generous. Overall, the value for money is excellent, highly recommended!

Visited twice, as stayed at the hotel. First time was a great Easter brunch with excellent Romanian specialities. The other day had dinner a la carte with very good bizon stew. Very good service, nice interior with river view.

One of the slowest service I have ever had. 5 tables occupied out of the 15. It took almost an hour to get a fish file and some pork ribs. And the atmosphere was awful because there was a table of 5-10 bikers who were talking loud and making awful dad jokes. The room was kinda cold too. The only upside were the waiters because they were kind and polite with us.

It's a OK restaurant in the Double Tree hotel, in walking distance from Nimfea aquapark. Service was not good - with a full hotel they also hosted a 70ish persons conference. And CLOSED the restaurant every lunch and dinner for this private event. I find this highly unprofessional - as there are dozens of GREAT & much larger aparthotels near them at half the price. We took the hotel for the full commodity including the restaurant. And the private group only occupied half the restaurant- but they kept the other tables unoccupied, when asked why can't we just sit there, they told us they don't have enough staff to handle so many people :) pff amateurish and inconsiderate

We had breakfast there and everything was amazing. A lot of variety and everything is fresh. Coffee could be a little better and would be nice to have Benedict eggs. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. The restaurant has a very nice view.

The food was very good, very tasty, the prices a bit high, but it was worth it. the portions are very large, the atmosphere is pleasant in the restaurant, and the service is perfect. You can go to this place even if you are not staying in the hotel. I highly recommend Laurus Restaurant.

Nice atmosphere and good food. Please remove the fries from the dishes, they don't belong to this cuisine. The waitress was a bit lagged and it wasn't a very crowded evening, still we had to wait a lot to be served our drinks. All in all a very pleasant experience and the chef is a warm and welcoming person.

Great place to enjoy delicious food. Wide selection of food, great presentation of food. The food is delicious; I really liked it. Good beer on tap, Italian beer. Very cozy inside. There are several areas: first in front, then the inner courtyard, and the inner courtyard with a terrace. Everything is very nice. I recommend stopping by for a meal. Delicious to everyone.❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely wonderful birthday dinner! My husband and I shared the Mezzeh selection to start and the Mix Grill as our main course. Every bite was delicious — we especially loved the hummus, labneh, and falafel. The meats from the grill had the perfect aroma and the rice was outstanding. The traditional Lebanese pita was fresh and warm, perfect for dipping and the spicy hara sauce added a bold, flavorful kick that we couldn’t get enough of. I’d also like to mention that the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which really added to the warm and inviting atmosphere. A really special touch was when Chef Rabin personally came to our table to check if everything was to our liking — it made the experience feel even more welcoming and personal. Highly recommended for both the food and the warm hospitality!

They have the best food I’ve ever found in Oradea. Their Chef is absolutely amazing. The space is chic combination between elegant and cozy. But above it all, the food makes you think of it afterwards. Thank you for and extraordinary culinary experience! 😉❤️❤️

The best Lebanese restaurant in Romania, so far. I ate here 4 times during my 6-day stay in Oradea. Great food, lovely atmosphere, kind, attentive staff! I highly recommend it! A great Thank you to Chef Rabih & his team! We can't wait to come again!

I’ve marked service very low because it took 1.5 hours to get our food after we placed our order. Our server was fine, but not sure what’s up with the kitchen. Food was good, views are beautiful.

Food was good, the view is nice. The service, however, coupled with the fact that smoking happens inside, even by the waiters, was horrible. I wonder why don't they respect the law which prohibits smoking inside?

This is one of my fathers favorite restaurant to take people. Amazing panoramic views of the city. We got a big platter of food. The staff was amazing, everything was very clean and the food was very tasty and expertly prepared!

The view is amazing and beautiful, best to come during the day time when it's sunny. Foods are okay, not sure is because there was a event when we were there. - Chicken soup The soup was tasty, mixed with smatana gave it extra creamy flavor which was nice. - Chicken breast with Gorgonzola Sauce The sauce was a bit salty, after while i just didn't feel like I could finish it the dish. The vegetable (or potato) cake on the site taste average, it could be better if it's hot as it was lukewarm. -Fries As you can see from the pic, the fries was soggy and dried. Overall the view is great, but for the quality of the foods, I'd rather just order a drink and enjoy the view next time.

Very good food, nice service, of course, a beautiful view .... but radio? Like radio and that means advertising. Luckily we didn't hear the news .... And another detail. The wok chicken is very delicious. Such a dish must be served with chopsticks. It has to be the whole package. Well ... details ....

This is one of the best places to eat in Oradea. The place and the view is purely amazing, on Dealul Ciuperca (Mushroom Hill), very good prices, friendly staff and delicious food. We ate here on Monday so it wasn’t crowded. We ordered tripe soup with sour cream and hot pepper, tagliatelle with shrimps and zucchini, pinepapple chicken breast and truffle puree, tuna salad, gorgonzola chicken with gratin potatoes, chicken paprikas (heavenly) and of course….romanian cheese dumplings with sour cream and sour cheery jam for desert. This is the best place to come and eat as a tourist. A minus from my end because some people smoke inside the terrace.

The food was tasty and the view from the place was very nice. They could make more parking spots for their customers as we had to park on the field next to the restaurant because there were no more parking spots left (there were others parked on the field too). Rating the atmosphere to 1 because it wasn't very nice that they had all the windows closed on their terrace but they allowed people smoking there, practically it was inside which is prohibited by law!

Very good option especially for the restaurant which offers very fancy, quality and good size meals. Definitely one of the best meal options in the city.

I discovered this restaurant by accident. Saw that it was loaded with clients. So i visited them today. Now i know why that was the case. The food is fantastic. Its served by a friendly waithtress. And the prices are a like too. I gess they will see me here more often.

We went there for lunch. First of all, the interior of the restaurant is very small and to enter you have to cross the terrace where people are smoking. The terrace is big, they have more tables there than inside. But the terrace is smoking arrea. The food was ok, nothing great.

Guided by the positive reviews, we visited this place for a dinner and it was worth it: great staff, polite and friendly, short waiting times even though there were a lot of customers (this also says something good about the place) and the food was excellently excellent and with very reasonable prices. Big portions - be ready to eat a lot for not a lot of money. The food is good quality and options are suficient to enjoy a good meal! This restaurant was beyond our expectations!

Amazing view on the terrace which is outside on the side road and believe me, even if the cars are going near by this place has a soul. We had the gulas and the fruit soup and they were both amazing. The service was quick. Great prices (way cheaper than similar restaurants in the city centre). We also loved the design of the place and the atmosphere. Best place to eat in Oradea imo.
