Strejf or “Touch” (translated) is a really nice place to dine and the interior is rare and original. Service is good but varying from intimate to superficial. My son and I had bubbles for a start, 2xloin and 2xcheese for desert and enjoyed a good evening. Meat was good - wine was excellent, but we also went for the top 5 on the card. The last star is for being pricy. I allways rate price vs quality. I will really recommend this as a quality place to dine. Enjoy.

Just okay. If you haven’t been to truly great restaurants, this may seem great, but if you’re used to eating out a good places a lot, then it’s just okay. Good points: - Atmosphere and decor was gorgeous. - Mushroom soup was great. - Duck dish was lovely, good sauce and vegetables were amazing. Bad Points: - Our waiter was quite rude and condescending. Very slow service too with too few waiters on a weekend evening. - Potato with the main duck dish was hilarious. One piece of raw potato?! - Desserts were so so average and small, especially for the price point. - Cocktails were not cocktails but merely a drink. Felt like a few juices mixed together. Nothing special. All in all it’s a nice place but nothing really special. I wouldn’t return if I were paying.

Truly lovely place for dinner with my soon-to-be husband and parents. Our waiter (and I’m assuming the restaurant owner) was incredibly nice and gave excellent recommendations. Some of the best Italian food we’ve ever had, and with reasonable prices. We highly recommend! ❤️

Went in to share a pizza together with a friend. You can tell it's an authentic Italian restaurant just by reading the menu. We shared a margherita pizza (although I asked for ham on my part). Holy crap, this was without a doubt one of the best pizzas I've ever had! Tasty, fresh ingredients, extremely well-made pizza with a lovely fluffy crust with so much flavour. If you want to experience real Italian pizza, this is your place. Even though we didn't try anything else on the menu, I'm sure everything would have been of the same high quality. Cosy atmosphere, nice server, good prices and amazing food. The easiest 5/5 I've ever rated.

I live in sweden but i have been here many times, totaly worth the boat trip. I’ve had lasagna, carbonara, cannelloni and pizza. The lasagna is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had, and it is always my safe card and the dish I crave the most. Great location and cozy interior. Staff is friendly.

We went there for lunch on a Saturday and the food was great. Some may say it is a bit on the salty side, but that's a matter of personal taste. We had a seafood appetizer and pasta dishes. The place also has a good atmosphere. A good place to drop by if you are shopping in the area.

Nice place to have a dinner. Not the top, but ok for a family meal. The ribs were nice, hamburger had a tasty meat, the buns were a bit dried out. Both the rib eye and the potato had a slightly bitter, little bit burnt flavour but it was not that bad to send it back. We had a chicken breast supreme as well which was nice. The waiters/waitresses were super kind which balanced it out.

We ordered a Classic Burger and a Pulled Pork Burger, both served with a well-cooked, flavorful baked potato. To drink: still water and a small draft beer (mellem fadøl). Both burgers were spectacular — the meat was fantastic: tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The pulled pork melted like butter, and the classic burger was just as perfect. So good that we made sure to compliment the waitress so she could pass the message to the kitchen. There’s only one restroom, but it was spotless and well-maintained — a detail that really matters. A truly enjoyable lunch in a place that combines quality, care, and hospitality. Total: 421 DKK. A very fair price for the experience.

We were visiting our son in Helsingør and brought him and a few friends here for dinner—such a great choice! The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. A really pleasant evening!

Probably nicest place to eat around this location, big choice of dishes, good choice of drinks. Portions are big, so the price doesn't bite too much. There is quite big amount of space to sit down outside and inside. Most cozy was inside in the inner garden. Interesting way of serving people by marking the leaflet with desired dish. Some dishes even has free restocks like salad and free choice of ingredients.

We stopped in The Rib House during brunch and received a warm welcome from the staff. There was a lovely spread for brunch with something for many tastes and a good offering of typical local fare. Numerous pastries, sliced meats and cheeses, omelette, pate, beef, premade tea sandwiches, fruits, sausages, breads, and juice/mimosa bar. The menu for this restaurant had a variety of options as well. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. If you are in the area, this is worth a visit.

It is the perfect cafe to have breakfast, meet with friends and have a drink. we were there for breakfast today. The service person was a wonderful young lady. He met all our requests quickly and with a smile. we had a great time. Happy New Year.

Two waitresses on duty. One of them more busy talking to a friend inside, while the other occasionally popped her head outside to check for incoming orders or requests. Very long waiting time even to put our orders in. Foul smell from a nearby drain consumed the outdoor sitting area completely. Constant hassle from birds trying to steal the food you were eating. But the food itself was well cooked.

Lovely steak burger (medium) with fries and amazing garlic sauce. Totally recommend. The food quality was really good and the staff were very friendly and nice but despite we decided to sit inside to be away from cigarettes smokes outside, we still could smell it inside! This quaint restaurant is in a nice location with friendly, English-Speaking staff. We were greeted and seated promptly. We were offered menus in English which was super helpful. We ordered the "Shooting Star" and the "Strip Steak". My wife enjoyed the shooting star. My steak was rather bland and somewhat overcooked. The atmosphere is casual and the prices are reasonable for Denmark.

Had Sunday brunch there. The spread was good and dishes were quickly topped up when they run low. Along with the usual carbs, there are cured meats (salmon and ham) and cheeses. There is a choice of cut fruits and drinks including smoothies and sparkling wine. Plates were cleared very quickly when we got up for more food. I am glad we went. Will return if possible.

Walking through Helsingor on a rainy day after hiking and visiting the castle, I found this place and it was exactly what I needed. Nice, warm and relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and good beer. I had the roast pork with potatoes and pickled beetroot, which was served as a huge portion and listed as 'all you can eat' so I had seconds. It was all cooked well, and was very tasty. As a tourist, I felt the prices were fair for what I received. It's not a truly amazing restaurant but my experience was perfect, so I recommend this place.

We visited on Ascension Day, the restaurant is not too busy. No waiting. Staffs are nice and attentive. We have no idea that Stegt flæsk is only served for dinner. We couldn’t try it this time. 😢

As a foreigner you have different prices apparently. I had to pay 62 Dkr for a bottle of beer and 99 Dkr for an Irish Coffee although there was a big sign that said 89 Dkr. His explanation was that it was an old sign (written in crayon ) the pub "Hold An" next door charged 30 Dkr for same beer . Outrageous pricing

I was absolutely famished when I reached Helsingør after a long day of travelling. I walked by several restaurants that weren't open yet, or didn't really have what I was looking for. I'm happy that I walked by Fransisco's. They had a lunch menu and I ordered the lunch steak with a soda. The steak was cooked to perfection, the bearnaise sauce was creamy and delicious, the fries were crispy, and the portion size was generous. The waiter was attentive and pleasant, and I enjoyed my meal. I will be back when I visit Helsingør again.

Enjoyed our lunch here a little while back. Some nice local / traditional / Danish food - perfect for what these tourists wanted. We squeezed onto the small tables outside. The traffic passes literally by your feet in this narrow street but the cars are quite slow and it's a quiet street. It was nice to sit in the sun. The service was good and the food was yummy.

The food was great, we liked it very much but we had to wait a lot. We were patient first because there were a lot of people but we realized after 45 minutes of waiting that everybody around us get their order although they arrived later than us. I think that they forgot about us or messed up something since we got our food quickly after asking the nice staff about our order. Another problem was that we didn't get exactly what we have ordered (french fries instead of small potatoes) but by that time we were so hungry that we accepted it.

We went here for lunch after my brothers wedding. An amazing lunch of traditional Danish food. The owner Christian, his family and staff were brilliant ensuring a great time was had by all. A real hidden gem in Helsingor. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious ice cream! We had the mango/pineapple sorbet, and the espresso ice cream. Both were extremely high quality, and the huge square cones were a bonus! Plenty of comfy seating, both inside and outside, but do note that this is inside a mall so it's not particularly atmospheric.

We were recommended this place from a local bartender and had the best experience of our holiday here. Food is amazing, we did the 3-course menu here and the portions were very large. The owner is from Sicily and he came out with his accordion mid-way through dinner and sang to all of the tables. Everyone was laughing and singing (including the 5 rounds of Happy Birthday haha). We had a charcuterie board starter, steak and fish for main courses, and desserts to share. 10/10 would recommend this place, don’t forget to make a reservation!

My partner and I visited Ciao Ciao the night before the Ironman in Elsinore, hoping for a low-key experience and a simple pasta meal. We asked for a dish with minimal tomato sauce due to dietary reasons, but were told that the chef wouldn’t being asked that. Fair enough, but the alternative suggested arrived in under five minutes, was overly sauced, the pasta was overcooked, and the chicken was watery. It clearly was not freshly made. Things got worse when I politely asked for the bill about 40 minutes in, as we had been told the table was only available for an hour. The waiter raised his voice at me in front of the restaurant and said, “Well you are still eating, so do you want the bill or not?” I said yes, and he loudly told me to finish eating first and that he would bring it later. It was aggressive and really embarrassing, completely unnecessary. We left feeling uncomfortable and quite shocked by our experience. I do not usually leave a review this low, but we were surprised to see how high the average ratings were. The service left a really sour taste and ruined what should have been a calm evening before a big day. I would not recommend it and we certainly will not be returning. We could not get out fast enough.

We went here on Easter Sunday and had a fantastic meal. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to try traditional Danish food. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

This part of Denmark has not changed since the uninvited neighbours to the South left on 5th May 1945 - the people are old, gnarled, talk as if they have 11 lbs of potatoes in their cheeks, and are gruffly incomprehensible. Peak Denmark in fact. Without the peeling thin veneer of sophistication you can see, here and there, in Copenhagen. Amazing contrast to sanitised Helsingborg in Sweden, barely 5 km across the Oresund by ferry. The decor has not altered. The food that they serve is simply stunningly original Danish fare - no concession to heightened sensitivities or health. The beers are great. I just loved it.

Went to Kronborg castle and came across this really nice Danish pub/restraunt on the way back to our hotel, the traditional platter was massive and tasty and the local beer was excellent maybe too good as I thought I had already paid most of the bill and got put right by the lady in charge in the nicest way!

One of the best Sushi places in Denmark. Have long been a favorite of mine, and we have tried many places within the Copenhagen area. A must try for everyone visiting Helsingoer. Small place though, so recommend using it for take-away.

The number 1 place to get sushi. Every time I travel to Copenhagen I make a point of going out of my way to go to this sushi place. Nice staff, quick service and their sushi is to die for.

The first time I was at taro sushi and ate was around 2016. Was the best sushi in nordic. And today I having a dinner at taro sushi first the first time in 8 years and STILL taste the same. IT was so Good and the Service from the Chef was amazing. The quality and how creative the chef was, Impressive. Highly recommend.

Having lived in Japan for 5 years when I was younger, I'm a big fan of sushi. Very spoilt in Cape Town and South Africa with brilliant fish, excellent sushi at really reasonable prices. All of this said, we were totally blown away by the meal at Sushi Taro. Quality of the fish was superb, presentation top, texture and temperature of the rice perfect and also loved the variety on offer. I also feel that the prices were great. Especially by European and Scandinavian standards. Staff are super friendly and the hospitality is warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back for more during our stay. Very highly recommended.

Without any doubt the best Sushi place in Helsingør (we normally use take-out). If they are VERY busy, timetable can "explode", but that's easily overcome by ordering in good time and not last minute (which I also find respectful 😊) We will be back again! (... and again and again...) 😎👍

We've tried a number of sushi places in Helsingør kommune, this is by far the best, it is only matched by a few in København. Top quality, just delicious. Super friendly service just to top it all off. There would be few in Denmark that are as good.

Just before we arrived at the restaurant, a big group of loud and drunk people got in the restaurant. We had already ordered a table days before, but now we were kind of forced to sit outside, as we couldn't hear each other or the waiter. In the end, everyone was sitting outside and the only ones inside was that big group. After we were seated and we ordered, it took about 45 minutes before we got our first dish. The table next to us complained about the time it took to received their food. People next to us started smoking so we asked the waiter if they could stop the people from smoking and they said that we were seated outside so that is allowed, but they would ask their chef. We are still waiting for the waiter to return with an answer or solution. We had ordered the smørrebrød with fiskefilet (100kr) and the hand peeled shrimps (costs 45kr extra and you get around 10 shrimps and a tiny dot of mayo). When it arrived, it turned out to be half a fish filet (you could see it was cut and you only get half of the whole filet) and the shrimps were not cleaned and still had poop/intestines inside. When we said something about that, as we pay a lot extra to get the hand peeled shrimps, the server took my plate to the chef and 10 minutes later got back with the same plate, blaming the company they get the shrimps from (their leverandør), as the restaurant does not peel or clean the shrimps themselves. I basically just had to deal with it! Now my dish was cold. They also did not clean the shrimps. They offered to give us an other dish instead, but we wanted this dish, but then with clean shrimps. Nothing happened, also nothing was taken off of our bill in the end. So we had to clean the shrimps ourselves and pay the full bill. I left the shrimps with the poop aside and did not eat them. Some of the dill on top of the shrimps was withered. After we ordered a second dish, the waiter never asked us if we enjoyed our food, even after we complained about the first dish. The second dish (the salmon smørrebrød) was nice. We have been at this restaurant before and it was absolutely amazing at that time, but after new owner took over, it didn't do the restaurant any good I think. It was not a good experience at all, so we decided to take our dessert and coffee elsewhere. We will not be coming back.

Just soup is not warm enough and staffs are So nice !! Coffee is nice but would be great if americano can be more warm. Love their bread ! The Apple slices is Really Warm ! love it. Asked for a table for 2 at 1.40, outside because of dog. All tables empty, inside about half occupied. Waitress: do you have reservations? No, sorry all is booked. In 10 minutes all will be full. Came back 40 min later - still mostly empty tables. Asking for all the people who obviously did not show up. Another waitress: we can’t handle walk ins. Hope the owner pays low salaries, or he is not interested in sales. Found a nice place next door - good food and good service called beer garden, instead.

The place is cozy, the staff is kind, polite and the manager speaks English. The self buffet is good, with some vegetarian options, some cakes, cold cuts, cheese, bread, sausage, scrambled eggs, fruits. At the buffet is included juice, water and also coffee. I ordered a cappuccino which was good and big. This place is also special because they hired people with special needs. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very fresh all you can eat brunch with amazing fresh food. A lot of variety including chiken, fish, lasagna all sorts of salads and desserts. The waiters were so friendly and professional. Would definitely come here again.

We went there for a fast coffee and - coffee was great. Small cafe that not only offers coffee specialities, but also alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks as well as snacks. Expect to pay 30 DKK or around 4 euro for a cappuccino, but hey it's worth it.

Ordered simple paninis, but never got any food. Waited for 45 min before we asked the waitress why it took so long. She said to check, but we never heard back. Not that many customers in the restaurant. After one hour we informed the staf that we didn’t want to wait any more. We paid for the drinks, and left.

Great Italian restaurant in Denmark. Delicious selection of bruschetta especially the goats cheese with truffle! Friendly staff, delicious wine, nice and cosy restaurant in a great location just a few minutes walk to the sea! Highly recommended

Good place to get dinner or lunch. Nicely decorated in jazz theme with italian origins. Due to full house the stuff was a bit late and sometimes forgot things to bring but in the end was all good. The food was good too. The pricing though was a bit too much on some dishes. If you are a swede the best is to start directly the order in English to avoid misunderstandings in your order. 6.5/10

The waiter swore that the burger was the best choice and wouldn’t let me order fish. He was energetic and up beat. He told os that the kitchen was about to close and it seemed like burger was the easiest way to get us out of there fast. Please order anything else than the overpriced “grill house” burger they serve here. You are better off at McDonald’s.

Drinks were ok, but food was really bad, tourist trap. Watch out.

This is literary the worst food in town, fairly over priced and possibly the rudest service you can expect. Denmark is not generally big on customer service, but this place is some of the worst even by Danish standard. Bottom line, you are better off with a hot dog on the street than eating here.

Good pub food and a very nice place to grab a beer. The fried fish was made out of fresh fish and we where very pleased with the service. It's no White Guide standard, but you'll not be disappointed.

We usually come here once every summer. Its very unpretentious and down to earth. Traditional danish food, beer and aquavit. Prices are very affordable and the staff are always welcoming and nice.

Great food overall! I loved the salmon appetizer, though the main dish was just okay for me, and the dessert wasn’t to my liking. However, when the staff came by and asked how was the dessert, I mentioned that it is just okay. He immediately brought me a new dessert, which was delicious. Unfortunately, we did find a hair in the main dish. The ambiance, though, was perfect and really made the experience enjoyable.

We were surprised at how great this meal and atmosphere were. Dinner for two in a cozy booth, I had the halibut which was fantastic. Chef made the tartar with no onions (I'm allergic). My partner had mushroom risotto which was perfectly cooked and flavorful. It was too dark to enjoy the view; want to come back in the spring. Excellent service .

Nice "american style" adult hotel/ congress hotel. Food was excellent. Only minus was room air conditioning what didn't work.

This is such a lovely family restaurant. It's pretty small but there is more at the back. They have a great menu with pictures and names in both Danish and English. Everyone is super friendly and the food arrives quickly. I would say the prices are average but the service is excellent. Good portions and nice atmosphere. Nice toilets. Although I'm sure they would do their best to accommodate it, getting big prams, wheelchairs etc in here, doesn't seem like an easy task. I would go here every time we are in Helsingør as it feels so lovely Danish!

Traditional Danish food restaurant. The owner of this business is joyful and helpful personality. This restaurant was inherited by his grandparents with 50 years as mentioned by him they are the oldest restaurant in this little town. Those copper utensil hanging on the celling was those ancient time using by his grandparents. Dishes is super good taste with reasonable price. Don't miss out this place, a must go restaurant.

Absolutely delicious. Came here with my parents, who had seen an ad on Facebook. We had some of their pasta dishes, and we all were overwhelmed by the amazing taste. The interior design was gorgeous, with a bunch of chandeliers and muted tones. Overall a great experience. Would recommend, and we are definitely visiting again.

Amazingly delicious pizza!! Thin, crispy hand-tossed crust with generous toppings. Caprese salad was huge, fresh and delicious. And the complimentary fresh bread is handmade and not to be missed. You must eat here and enjoy! And the owner and staff were so friendly and generous with their time. A great experience!! 🍕

Angelo was very nice and offered us to indulge in the buffet service although it was late and about to be taken away. The food was tasty, warm and of great quality considering the good price; we also got a pizza from the menu and it was delicious. Angelo was very polite and the prices were very reasonable; unlike other reviewers say, the check was completely accurate. What a great lunch we had.

First time in the restaurant - the food is absolutely delicious. Service is excellent! The Tiramisu is pure heaven - the best I’ve ever had. UPDATE: Second visit a year later: they probably have changed the chef, as food was nothing special, and the Tiramisu was a bland, boring slice of sponge cake. I’m sorry to say, I was really impressed for the first time, and deeply disappointed for the second visit. I adjust the ratings.

The only reason this restaurant gets one star is because of the location which is in the middle of the main street. We tried to order pizza with minor modifications, but that didn’t say well with the waiter (owner?). So I ended up ordering a Napoli pizza. While waiting for our pizza, the waiter was quarrelling with some other guests. The pizza was disgusting! It had too many dried herbs on top, it had cheap, green olives and it was full of olive oil. Cannot recommend this restaurant!

Been at Francophile a few times and never disappointed. Unpretentious food, obviously French inspired. They do 3 X 3 menu with incredibly low prices on Wednesday/Thursday. Great ambience and views of Oresund and Sweden.

Vores Skotterup is certainly one of the best restaurants we have been to. The service is very attentive and super-friendly, and the food is truly exceptional. With the size of the dishes, you should order at least two courses, allowing you to sample a variety of their amazing food. We ordered Tunasalad and Plaice as an entree and Veal Rump Roast for main. Absolutely delicious! Certainly worth every Danish Krones spent!

Restaurant Isabell serves atmospheric breakfasts and brasserie-style lunches and dinners, with standouts like the varied buffet, oysters, and local Scandinavian specialties. I also enjoyed drinks and a relaxed meal in Rory’s Bistro & Bar, which transitions from a casual brasserie by day to a lively bar with creative cocktails and board games in the evening. The breakfast buffet was exceptional—plenty of high-quality options, including homemade specialties, fresh pastries, and local meats and cheeses, all served with a beautiful view of the sea. My room was comfortable, very clean, and well-equipped, matching the high overall standard of the hotel. The staff were professional, attentive, and consistently friendly, which made a big difference during my stay. Although I didn't have time to fully enjoy the spa or casino, these facilities looked impressive and definitely add value for future visits. Overall, Marienlyst Beach Hotel delivers a great experience with its superb dining options, excellent service, and unbeatable beachfront setting. I highly recommend it both for business and leisure travelers, and I look forward to returning.

This was my 4th time in the spa. I usually love coming here but I think the new price structure is a bit too high. Also, it felt pretty overcrowded to be honest.....I get that there is more room with the new pool for people in the summer but during the wintertime it was just too many people. It was not as clean as it used to be and it was hard to get a spot in the outside pools. The stuff was super sweet and friendly as usual, food and drinks are fantastic:)

Went for the pool day pass only, hope that next time I get to stay the night, the pools and saunas were a great variety and you got plenty of time to enjoy. Easy to get here from Copenhagen with the train, and so much better price than anything close to similar value for a spa in the city. The view was also lovely and the lunch buffet was great. Nothing to put my finger on except wanted to stay longer!

The hotel is very chic, clean and with nice furniture. From the first step inside the hotel, you can feel the history of the place. The staff members are kind and welcoming. The view from Restaurant is magnificent, you can admire the castel, the sea and Sweden on the other side. I truly recommend the afternoon tea for an unique experience.

We spent a wonderful getaway at Marienlyst Strandhotel with my spouse, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. We visited both restaurants and the Rory Bar – everywhere the food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and of high quality. The service was cheerful, professional, and very attentive. The spa was relaxing and provided the perfect setting to unwind. Breakfast deserves a special mention – the selection was rich, fresh, and of excellent quality, easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had. In addition to the pleasant atmosphere, the hotel offers plenty of entertainment options for guests. In the lobby you can enjoy various games such as pool, shuffleboard, table tennis, PlayStation, dominoes, and more. This made the evenings especially fun and cozy. Overall, our stay was truly memorable and left us with only positive impressions. We highly recommend Marienlyst Strandhotel to anyone looking for the perfect combination of luxury, great food, friendly service, and entertainment.

Pro: Super nice location by the beach, large room, good extensive breakfast. Good dinner (by best options are in town). Con: For the pool, you need to pay for the spa (300 DKK) without possibility for paying just for the pool. Noisy room and large group coming for parties. 1.5 km to the Kronborg Castle (nice walk though). Recommended for family and friends? Not sure.

Great beach close by, clear water and sand. Mostly friendly personnel and a lot of different games around but if you book here the chances of getting a room with view over one of the parkings is very high and we had nonstop delivery lorries and noises starting as early as 04.45h….. ! The reception clearly is aware and doesn’t care; the excuse was bland. Too expensive for what it’s worth and with no SPA access included! The Rory restaurant not to be recommended due to raw food (fish) although the waitress did her best! Overpriced.

Ended up here unexpectedly since a lot of other restaurants/bars were full. We read that they had Smørrebrød and our goal was to find a place where they offered it. Sadly we misunderstood the concept of this restaurant. We asked the waitress if they had different kinds of Smørrebrød and she said yes. She didn’t elaborated and we didn’t question it. We sat down, ordered drinks and thought we were going to get the menue later along with our drinks. When our drinks came we waited maybe 2-3 minutes and then a plate full of Smørrebrød came to our table. As it turns out, there isn’t a menue where you could choose different breads etc. You just order food and sort of just eat what they give you. We weren’t aware of this and sadly had a person with allergy to seafood. Because of this, the concept made it a little troublesome since we had to guess and plan accordingly. The breads were, however, quite good. I wouldn’t say that they were worth the price, but it was pretty good. I was surprised by the service because I had read that it would be quite good. Our waitress, however, weren’t really service minded. She smiled and welcomed us when we walked through the door, but never seemed happy again. Didn’t reply or say anything when we thanked her, and when we received our food she never showed up herself ever again. We thought she had gone home but saw her talking with her coworker at the bar. I thought she should at least have gone by once and asked if everything taste good, but I believe she rather wanted to chat. In the end we paid our bill with the help of another waitress older than ours, and she seemed kind but since it wasn’t our handed server we didn’t get the chance to receive better service from her. The surroundings were really cozy, but at the time very humid. That, however, didn’t bug us and we had a great that nonetheless the humid. Overall a 3/5

Small but cozy restaurant in front of the ferry. Serve open sandwich for lunch only, no menu. What a surprise ! Six different kinds of open sandwiches on a tray . Ingredients are fresh and the colorful presentation is really a feast to your eyes!

Ordered a pizza through wolt, have never had a pizza that bad. Cheese tasted funky like it had gone off (not the only one who tried either). Had 2 bites and ended up throwing it in the trash. Felt nauseous the next day. Wolt contacted Pakhuset and they decided not to compensate anything (after a day). I will never eat anything from here again and have also deleted Wolt as its service in this situation was horrendous.

The food was insipit and utterly devoid of flavour. Worse still, they try to double charge the customer, only to freign ignorance and give out expired currency as refund when confronted. Greedy, disgusting, appaling, heinous, dismal, abhorrent and wholly unworthy...

A really cozy Italian restaurant located in a courtyard just off the main street. We really liked the atmosphere and the staff is very nice. Both the pizza and pasta (we had various dishes of both types) are good and they had an excellent bottle of Amarone that we enjoyed. I'd recommend a lunch visit any day :)

The food is at best mediocre. The service was beyond bad, we ordered 3 steaks which all came with different options but the waiter couldn’t be bothered to ask what we wanted, we had to call him back several times to make sure we got what we wanted. He still decided what we were given. The shrimp au gratin was basically canned tomato soup that they microwaved and added shrimp. The filet was some tough un-chewable cut of meat, not a filet and took close to an hour to arrive. The only pleasantness was the somewhat cute setting. Cost for 3 lunches with a bottle of house wine $100. Don’t waste your money!

Food: the quality differs a lot. The salads can be a bit bland and lacking in different vegetables, but they aren't bad. The food otherwise is good and you won't go home hungry. They have a wide variety of pizzas but needs a few more dishes besides that. Drinks: good quality and pretty standard. Prices: fair prices. You won't feel cheated. Staff: needs to smile a bit more, but otherwise alright. Interior: nothing has changed in years, but it works. The place is charming.

This place has great coffee BUT for takeaway coffee they add 3 dk for the takeaway cup which you won’t find out about until the coffee is made. The reason is all the global warming crap. It means it’s 40dk for a cortado to stay, then they have to wash and clean all the cups, so much for global warming, and a takeaway is 43dk. It makes no sense! It’s a free tip, no takeaway cup cost 3dk to make, and unnecessary. I’ll not be back or order to stay. Because we care, rubbish! You pay not them

I was into fish and chips however during my walking around I found this place. The place was nice as you can see the sea but the food was very basic. The fries and fish came cold. I could not eat all the fries as it by time it goes solid. So i am a-bit disappointed.

The staff's behavior was very rude and racist. They prioritize Swedish customers over others! We arrived earlier than the other customers, who were Swedish, but they placed their orders after us and still received their food earlier. They even finished eating and left the restaurant while we were still waiting for our order for more than an hour! This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in Sweden.

The inside was super cozy and you do get a feeling of sitting in a real Thai restaurant. I came at lunch and the food came almost at an instant. Now they plating and presentation wasn’t the best as you can see in my picture. They should reconsider using a rectangular shaped tray and put each dish in a single bowl rather than using something that you get at a hospital. The food wasn’t the best either. I’ve eaten real paneng curry and this tasted like it came straight out of a can (which I’ve tried btw). I’ve only given it two stars instead of one as the staff and interior design was great.

Really nice scenario and the building is fantastic. Did not have the chance to buy anything as the cafe was closed at 17h30 (even though the door says 18h). Either the working hours difference is clarified in the signs or the museum and cafe should follow the same working hours. We saw a big sign saying "open" from the top of the stairs and we went down to the cafe and got refused service.

The Extreme high rating of 4.8 is normally not legit, but this place absolutely deserves their high rating. We had 2 Diavlola Pizzas, with their homemade Chili, garlic oil and their truffle sauce and it was litterally a pizza foodgasm. All the ingredients were of Amazing quality - Bread 9,5 out of 10, Tomatosauce 9 out of 10, Cheese 9 out of 10, The salami 10 out of 10, sauces 9,5 out of 10. Total score 9,5 out of 10. The owners are proud Italiens, and they have every right to be, because these pizzas are some of the best in Denmark, especially for the low prices. We will be back very soon. Bravo Bravo. I'm a pasta lover and after visiting Kronborg Castle and walking to Helsingor old town, i decided to eat at this place. The staff suggested Brasato and viola it is piping hot - homemade pasta. Loved the ambiance of the place.

We had the Beef carpaccio, Scaloppini with Gorgonzola and walnuts, and pasta with yellow Italian tuna, capers, and olives. Nice Italian dark beer and red wine too. For dessert, we had Tiramisú and TWO orders of mango sherbet with dried mango. Wonderful evening. Close to the train station. English spoken. They also sell Italian products and wine.

The flavors were exceptional and portions were very hearty. While it was 700Kc, pricey for Prague, seems fairly typical here in Denmark. Easy to find and very friendly and fast service. Would certainly come back and recommend it if you find yourself in the area! Very clean inside and out, proving their care and concern!

This is my honest review of the restaurant Maison Asiatique in Denmark. We had dinner at this Chinese restaurant and tried several dishes. I ordered the shrimp noodles, which came with a nice mix of vegetables. At our table, we also had beef fried noodles and a soup with dumplings — the latter was probably not on the menu but requested specially by two of our Chinese friends. The restaurant itself has a fairly simple décor, with clean restrooms located upstairs. Service was friendly and efficient, though nothing particularly remarkable. Overall, it’s a good and practical option near the port, even if not directly on the waterfront.

Waiter was fine but not friendly. Beer was good but the selection is small. Coffee and cake was good. Has no afternoon snacks for that time between lunch and dinner (for us on danish time) since snacks are only available after 5 PM. They probably try to avoid having too good a business. Can't speak of the food's quality since we didn't have any. Interior decor is pretty nice.

My girlfriend and I went here for a quick coffee and warming up in the afternoon, but due to the amazing smell of their pizza we decided to get a pizza on the go (Carciofata). The pizza we had tasted absolutely brilliant and is the best pizza I have eaten in the past 3 years. The dough is soft and nice and the ingredients are of great quality. We experienced kind and quick service. Although the dining part does not look extremely cosy inside, the kitchen looks authentic and the pizza is worth staying there. We sincerely regret to not have ordered more pizza and will come back without a doubt.

Absolutely amazing pizza we had in there. I had the Nduja e Salami which was perfect. Service was quick and friendly. The owner was very accomodating. Even got a limoncello afterwards to help with digestion. Really recommend this place!!!

This is the most authentic Italian pizza I have had in 10 years. It was soooo good. Manuele was super friendly and was fun to talk with him. Really nice location also... walking distance to Kronborg castle.
