I have had severe food poisoning from this restaurant 6 weeks ago. We complained before we left about the food it was hard and cold. They gave us a full refund the following day but at the time I didn’t realise how unwell I would be. I have sent them an email twice and they have not acknowledged me. I have reported them to the environmental health dept who are chasing this up. We were recommended by a neighbour who has taken outs. I will never go back there again! I am still very unwell and they obviously do not care about their customers. The chairs scraping on the floor is so off putting and noisy.

Always amazed by the quality of food and friendly service when we visit here. Thank you to all the staff, one of the best chinese restaurants. A must if you've never been 😋

We have been meaning to try here for a while and we're glad we did. Great food and drink selection, nice service and very tasty. We tried one of the set meals and it was just right on quantity, selection and great flavours.

The food is so beautiful and rather filling too. We went for the lunchtime deal (2 courses for £15). Really tasty, very well presented and great service. Please note that they will charge a service charge too so be prepared to pay a little extra.

Not sure what all the fuss is about? It’s not the best Chinese restaurant by a long way. All the food we had was very basic. The starters were all very dry and the mains were nothing special. A bit annoying how packed the place was with people waiting for takeout. The “eat in” customers were left waiting for ages to be served their food though the staff did apologise for the wait. Don’t think I’d go back.

I came here for the first time today as I was passing through the area. I ordered three different items and all of them were fresh and authentic. Prices are really good here too. The man who took payment when I came to collect was also friendly. I will be back, but next time I’ll book a table and bring my family with me. 10/10 and I’m a fussy eater 🤣🤗

A lovely time spent at The Watermill incorporated with our excursion to the Safari and Theme Park! Perfectly located with our stay at The Travelodge which was directly opposite! They say a place is considered great when it has good hospitality, and we can without a doubt say we had outstanding hosting, namely Sam and Lexi who demonstrated levels of impartial hospitality any employer of any establishment would desire, especially with them unknowingly having in their presence silver award winner Gideon Nash Director of Nature Care representing St Vincent and The Grenadines from the Chelsea Flower Show 2025! Top marks all the way for Sam and Lexi for making our trip more than pleasurable! We definitely recommend The Watermill to anyone visiting the area! 10 out of 10!!!!

A leisurely lunch by the canal. Table booked in advance. The QR ordering method can make it simple but doesn't allow for any 'swaps' of veg. Bar ordering works fine! Extensive menu. The food could have been hotter! Plenty of tables and space made for a very untroubled atmosphere.

It has been a long time since I last visited here and today there was a real improvement because as soon as we entered the pub for lunch we received a warm welcome from Amy and she also served us our food and checked everything was ok, really enjoyed our lunch, good portion sizes, I had hunters chicken with sweet potato fries, my friend enjoyed his chicken and mushroom pie. Amy shows excellent customer service which makes all the difference, thank you Amy. We then paid our bill and met the lovely manager Jan who was very kind and friendly and very we also had the discount off mains which is a great offer. Thank you Jan and Amy for the excellent customer service today and your warm welcome.

Came here for a bit to eat . Food was good but the Hunters Chicken was a little dry. Spoke to Lexi and she replaced the meal and it was great . Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Also great little park out the back with views of the canal. Lovely place and highly recommend

Nice location by the canal, although traffic over the road bridge was noticeable if sitting outside. Good English breakfast with alternatives including vegan and vegetarian, but note that the breakfast menu is not published on line

I've lived near here for over 2 years and walked past this place many, many times but, last week, I was handed a flyer as I walked past offering two breakfasts with drinks for £13.50. We went and tried it out and I can honestly say that it was the best breakfast we have found in, or near, Kidderminster. We had a traditional English breakfast with orange juice and coffee. Everything was cooked extremely well, the plates were hot and the staff were friendly. To test it out, as to whether we were just first time lucky, we went back a few days later and it was just as good. Scrambled eggs were done to perfection, as were the poached ones. It's good value, even at full price but, at the promotional price, it's amazing. Bistrot Pierre will be seeing a lot more of us in the future.

Would not recommend for breakfast. We were seated at a table, asked if we wanted to order drinks which we did. Our drinks took over 20mins to arrive. There were only 4 other tables in the restaurant. We ordered our breakfasts, to be told they had no sausages for a breakfast. This should have been said when we were seated. I opted for the veggie breakfast instead, my partner had the standard breakfast, he was offered extra bacon or eggs in exchange for not having sausages. After ordering our drinks finally arrived. We then waited 30mins for our breakfasts to arrive. The standard breakfast looked dry and was over cooked. The veggie breakfast was abysmal. Poached eggs were very under cooked, I was given bread and not toast with no butter. The avocado was brown and I also found egg shell in my food. The new potatoes were barely cooked. We did complain, I was offered another breakfast to which I refused. The veggie breakfast and my drink were taken off our bill. When we asked for the bill, we then waited another 15mins for the bill to arrive. At this point there were only 3 other tables including us in the restaurant. Customer service could be improved also.

Had a nice afternoon with an afternoon tea, it was nice but I've had better and there wasn't much to it, and you only got 1 hot drink. But the place was really nice and staff were lovely.

We have been several times so decided to try the Soiré gastronomic. Well! Absolutely divine. Six courses of the most beautiful food. Attentive waiter and waitress. An evening to remember. We even booked in for the next one in two weeks. Can't wait.... Very good food, very reasonable prices.

Warm welcome and quiet lunchtime, for a tasty £10 lunch of very good food. Coq au vin and Pork medallions. No room for dessert! We would definitely return.

We had a delicious Sunday lunch, pork belly, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, red cabbage, roasted carrot, brocoli, and plenty of gravy!! We enjoy it very much great service too

We were staying nearby in an Airbnb for a hen party with a large group, and this pub absolutely made our weekend! The owner was so lovely and welcoming from the start. They kindly let us use the car park over the weekend, which was a huge help. The staff were even better – everyone was so friendly, cheerful, and prompt with our orders. The bartenders had great energy, and the kitchen staff kept the good vibes going with brilliant music and lots of laughs. The food was lush – really tasty and perfect for the occasion. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to eat, drink, and celebrate. Highly recommend if you're in the area – we’ll definitely be back!

Bad start. Good finish Had a lovely meal this week. Friendly staff and perfect overall experience. We was reluctant to try it again after rude staff, a manager that didn't seem bothered and although we are smokers the chef was outside smoking or on the phone. While we was told an hours wait on our food. After our bad experience that was about 3 weeks ago. I'm glad we tried again because it was really good. I'm assuming new managers have taken over as staff were really friendly, I told someone that we'd had a bad experience before and a kitchen member came out to speak to us.

New managers are brilliant- they have cleaned up the pub and made it much nicer place to be - the food has improved massively and instead of looking for another place for a pint and a bag of crisps on an evening we will be at the park gate. We stopped for tea - and the food didn’t disappoint either - perhaps new faces is just what the pub needed

Feel sorry for new owner who was very nice, however as a new owner I would be checking every detail. As an executive head chef working in dubai and in hospitality. The food unfortunately has to be the worse I have tasted in a long time. Wrong pie served first, then new one came out that had been rushed in a microwave so pastry rock solid. Had to asked for gravy to be heated up. Rice on partners plate was cold. All in all terrible. Our first time and unfortunately wont be returning any time soon when in uk. Hope the new owner turns it around.

Excellent meal with friends and d all served at the same time. All of the meals were good. Enjoyed and well worth popping in to support the team.

Family gathering for food & drinks. Spent a really great evening at the Park Gate. Food was what you'd expect in terms of choice but everything was hot and presented well. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. No faults at all. Try it out, or try it again as it's improved substantially since I visited last...

Lovely pub to stop off for dinner. Meal was lovely hot and tasty but a little delayed due to staff training. Some parts looking a little tired and the car park could do with a tidy but given the staff friendliness all in all a lovely stopover.

We had high hopes but left a little disappointed. The mains and desert were good (4*) but the antipasti starters were very poor for £8 (1*). Cheap wafer thin ham tasted like it had come from a supermarket. Beyond this there was a very tiny amount of Parma ham, a handful of olives & some capers. Service started well but rapidly slowed as the restaurant got busier. A staff member had called in sick so this left one poor waitress rushing around on her own. Not the customers' problem though hence 3*. One fork was dirty and had to be swapped out. One of the main course bowls had a large chip in the side...unhygienic and unprofessional. No issues with the drinks, Peroni served draft was excellent. The chef was non-stop and it was good to be able to see him working in the kitchen. A good effort but not the high end authentic Italian experience we were looking for. Parking is via adjacent pay & display car park for which there is a charge until 9pm. A minor but additional expense.

I went to Love Food Italia last night with my friend. It was a busy atmosphere, as expected on a Friday evening. Overall it was a fantastic experience, I have been a few times and they never fail to impress. Brilliant food, brilliant service. We were shown the new menu on arrival… Reasonable prices, great portions and delicious food. I had the Funghi starter, and Pasta Al Funghi off the set menu. Highly recommend, and we will both be back again soon, as usual.

Visited for the first time with my sister who has been before. The food was amazing and presented beautifully. The confit egg pasta was to die for. The servers I think were called Grace and Sophie and were lovely and I also got talking to chef Billy who was also lovely and very welcoming. I am already planning a girlie visit with my 16 year old daughter and will be there again after that Im sure. Thank you to all of you, you are all amazing!

Food was really good. Fortunately we were welcomed with no reservation. We really thought that with what we had the total bill was very reasonable. We had eaten in various restaurants locally that week, and can honestly say this restaurant came miles above the rest.

Booked a table for a week night catch-up and birthday celebration with friends after seeing on their Facebook page a new menu had been launched, food looked delicious. We weren’t disappointed… friendly, warm atmosphere, the chef Billy and server Eva were very welcoming. Plenty of choice on the menu for all tastes, food was delicious and great value. Also catered for coeliac requirements. Will definitely be returning and urge locals to support this wonderful independent restaurant so they can thrive and grow!

My favourite restaurant in Kidderminster, amazing Italian dishes, quick friendly service, we go about 3 times a year for occasions and it's perfect everytime.

I went there on Tuesday night and it was quite quiet. The portions were quite big and tasted good. The taste of white wine in the Alfredo was very prominent and the dish really stood out to me. Recommend!!

Very welcoming at the bar with quick service. I had the Tapas Tuesday special with a drink for under £14: Lamb kofte; Louisiana Chicken, and the Korean King Prawns with a good Cruzcampo. Hopefully, I'll return soon and stick with the lamb, but try two other tapas. Worth a look.

We had breakfast at Tapetto Lounge and really liked the vibe as it was cozy and relaxed. You can order on your phone with the QR code or just go up to the bar. I went for a sausage butty - simple and satisfying! My husband had the full English, and our friend had the eggs Benedict. Everything was tasty, everyone was happy, and it was a nice, casual spot to start the day.

Love this place for cocktails and food. We always choose here for a go to place. I recently had the tacos and they were amazing. Cocktails are always great. Service and staff is always welcoming and friendly and always a relaxed atmosphere.

Popped in for lunch with a friend. We hadn't booked but we were seated straight away. A great menu with plenty of choice. Food was served quickly and was very tasty. Its definitely worth a visit.

Y: fairly standard for the chain of lounges. I had this birria toastie which was pretty delicious. I liked the Parmesan sprinkled on top. I wasn’t a fan of the sweet peppers but I’m sure someone else would like it. The sauce that came with it was nice. E: the lighting was quite dark, it was cloudy outside though. Couldn’t cross my legs under the table either and the table of 6 was pretty tight. Really good food though. Had the veggie breakfast, normally like bread on the side but they put the egg on top which was still nice. Good amount of yolk. There was also veggie frittas which were a welcome addition to make the breakfast more interesting. Ordered through app.

We had an absolutely delicious breakfast at Tapetto Lounge. Great food, lovely coffee, friendly staff, spacious and pleasant interior with nice music. So glad we came here while visiting Kidderminster.

Quirky large cafe with a mix of sofas and dining tables. The table wasn't clean when I was there this week for coffee with friends. Free self service water . Orde4 and pay at the bar then have food and drinks delivered. When weather permits there is plenty of seating area by the little river but no good views sadly. Its just a handy town centre cafe.

My colleague and I went there last week. The food is really good, the presentation was awesome, and the environment was amazing. I'd like to give it 5 stars, not only for the food but also for the brilliant and amazing decorations inside. I'll visit again soon.

I thought the overall visit was great. The front of house staff on arrival were friendly, very attentive and quick with drinks orders. When the starters came out, they were also quick to ask of everything’s okay. ….however, the ONLY thing I’d say unfortunately is the wait on food. We were here for 1hr and had only had drinks and one sharing starter. The food eventually came 1hr 20minutes. The food was lovely but maybe they were short staffed in the kitchen. It’s a shame as it did hinder the all over experience and left me not wanting to return 😖

I can’t believe I have almost lived in Kiddy for two years & yet hadn’t tried this place until today! I’m so glad I did! We had a korma, butter chicken, garlic naan & rice. Everything was delicious! We didn’t have to wait too long & it arrived hot! I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite - and personally I found the portion sizes perfect, especially for such brilliant prices! We also got a Negroni & White Russian. The food menu is impressive but the cocktail menu is crazy! The interior design is also very groovy, I’m a big fan. I’m already planning my next visit! P.S they do delivery too!

Arrived at 7pm on the dot and were quickly shown to our table for 2. We then had to wait 15 minutes before anyone came to take a drinks order. We then had another 15 minutes wait before someone arrived to take our food order. We ordered 2 Tapas dishes and 2 dishes from the grill. The tapas dishes were brought out quite quickly and were delicious. There was then another lengthy wait, 20 to 25 minutes, before the main dishes arrived, which again were delicious. All in all, the food was very good, the service was the let down. So if you want good food and are prepared to wait this is the place to go. If on the other hand you want quick service I would suggest wall2Wall Stourport, as the service there is impeccable.

Had to share our experience tonight at this beautiful restaurant! Wow what a place and what great staff were a big party of 17 for my daughter's 16th and from the moment I booked to the moment we left they all couldn't do enough for us ... food was amazing!!! All came out hot and all together ans for a party of our size I know how hard this can be .. hats of the the waiter (wish id have got his name ) always checking we were good even opening and pouring our Prosecco for us , brought the little kids food out first when asked and catered for our every need ,hats off guys u made our night a wonderful experience and a memorable 16th for our girl!! We will 100percent be returning maybe in a smaller party not to stress u guys out 😂 as i know we're a handful ...

First impressions weren’t great. We was 15 mins early to which they said a table wasn’t ready for another 30 mins (we had booked for 1830) which is fine. We eventually got seated on a dirty table. To then we waited 20 mins for a drinks order. And then another 20 mins for a food order. Food then took an hour to come. And we was served by a very ill mannered guy. Unfortunately I have forgotten his name. We asked why Yh such long waiting times, we wasn’t even made aware that there might have been longer waiting times. All he kept saying is that it was all on time and that it was US that was late. Well this wasn’t true, we had to move the car! Because of the long waiting times. It wasn’t only use complaining, unfortunately there was a few other tables that weren’t happy. Even another guest that had booked a table, they said they didn’t have the room for them! Not very good at all. They need to go on a basic Customer service course I think. Oh come to think of it also, there was a very bad smell as you walked into the restaurant… I thought it was piss but was told it might have been a room odour thing 🤣

Popped in for the bike night. Bar staff were polite and friendly. Had a meal and drinks. Very reasonably priced. Also bumped into an old friend so all round great visit. Food was great too. Will definitely come again.

I was surprised (although the reviews mention) the staff being very friendly and the atmosphere being welcoming - sometimes pubs can be niche to just locals, I’m glad I popped by! Not eaten in there, so I can't comment on the food, but the plates I have seen look nice. Decent selection of beers, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. Pool table, Darts board and decent number of TVs for the sports. Can't ask for much more from a pub.

Been here a few times, greeted by lovely friendly staff, locals always made me feel relaxed and comfortable, and last but not least, the food was amazing, sunday roast is a favourite of mine, everything cooked to my liking, will be returning this weekend. Despite being undertaken by new owners, the quality with the food and drinks are amazing thankyou so much.

Was a welcome oasis, amongst the Police No Parking signs, that we encountered all the way, down the hill, after passing the Aggborough Stadium. Having said that, having walked from the car park, past the sign saying that tops must be worn inside, which made us wonder what kind of topless debauchery happens elsewhere, I left my son, at the bar, while I visited the little boys room, it's an age thing, only to return to find that first him, and now me, belonged in the less respectable, but more fun, Sports Bar. Enjoyed every minute, even though most of them were spent looking at the ceiling, and wondering what on Earth they were thinking... Before you ask, yes they are paper party plates stapled to the ceiling... I'm no Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen, but.. Why? As for the name, I think the reason looms quite large, whichever way you look at it.

This pub has seen drastic improvements over the past few years under the fantastic management of the new landlord and landlady Carl and Leanne, it is now a great place to go with friendly, professional and attentive staff, high affordable drinks and food with a great range of both, there new cocktail menu is going down a storm and with the change of bar to lounge and lounge to bar it has created the space for the pool table and darts that was needed and added alot of new t.v screens for sporting events such as the ongoing European championships. Brilliant place to go and be with friends and family would highly recommend it.

Very friendly welcome, the manager explained that all orders are now digital but assured us she would help as we hadn’t used this way of ordering before, she was excellent and we ordered with no problem at all. We had an issue with the drinks machine but once we brought it to the attention of the staff she immediately replaced the drink and in a fresh glass. Excellent service, quality and good value meal. Went for the buffet, really you can't complain too much about unlimited pizza, although not all the regular buffet options were available - we had to wait about an hour for a Hawaiian to finally show up. We've also had it here in the past where a certain "guest" buffet pizza had been advertised on every single table (usually a stuffed crust or cheesy bites of some sort), and it hasn't been available on the buffet, and when I've asked when one is coming out they say they're not doing it, or they don't know what I'm talking about - well then don't advertise it!

Took the family over for lunch on the 7/5/22 this was for 3 adults & 4 children. We decided that we would order a mixture of pizzas on various bases to share, bottomless drinks and the salad bar. The food was absolutely delicious and the pizza was so much better fresh from the pass. It was piping hot and certainly plentiful. All the staff were welcoming and very friendly throughout our visit, the manager came over to say hi and make sure everything was OK and did we need anything else too which was a great touch. We left very full and very happy, with lots of pizza to take home too! I've given full stars for our visit as they certainly deserve it! Thank you to the team for making our time with you enjoyable and hassle free.

We went in with a group of kids for my nephews birthday, Sunday 7th Sept 25.When we went to ask for a table, the lady refused to give us a table, as they only had 2 staff on, and they wont be able to manage! So as we were there another group come along for a table of 7, after ooing and arring they decieded to let us in. The pizza buffet isnt what it used to be like when I was a kid! The salad bar tasted old, the breadsticks were out of date! Theres one lady who works there who was proper grumpy, I ask for a straw, she wondered off, the ice cream machine was empty! The place in general was unclean and not looked after. Really poor from pizzahut, no staff, no service! there lots of people in kiddy will take a job at pizzahut if you are short staff, better still replace those who are not doing job that they are paid to do. This place needs to be closed, and get proper management in to sort this mess out! Pizza hut really need to look at this store, no point employing staff if they dont want to be helpful or even want to work there! Really dissapointed, wont be back

Absolutely appalling service My parents visited tonight ordered 2 pizzas. My dads was uncooked there was no colour to it and it looked anemic. He returned to the desk to find no staff …… he asked to chef if he could either cook the pizza for longer or replace. He waited 20 mins and returned to the counter to see what was happening. He was told his pizza had been thrown in the bin and they would not replace or refund. My dad of course frustrated queried this and was told they could retrieve the pizza from the bin to show him it was cooked …… he left with no food and no refund. Customer service is absolutely appalling and quite embarrassing actually. Do better.

Visited for the buffet. Kelly was fantastic and couldnt be more attentive. Place was really clean and the salad bar was fresh. Syrup went in the drink machine kelly was quick to change and give fresh glasses for refills. Will be back.

All the food was acceptable whilst one dish - lamb jalfrezi - was particularly good. Service started out fine. I opted for a special menu including a poppadom, chutneys, starter, main dish, and rice for £15. But service slowed to a crawl after the starter. It was about 45 mins before I received the main course.

Very pleased with the food, good service at a sensible price. Bombay Blues has an extensive menu and allows you to take your own alcoholic beverages.

Based on order for delivery, this is the second and last time we use them. First order a good while ago was horrendously late and not seemingly bothered by that. Order on New year's eve was placed well over an hour before we wanted it delivered, but it missed the delivery slot and when checked, hadn't even been prepped. Delivery promised within a further 20 minutes, but it still hadn't been sent over half an hour later. Can't cancel order, so will have to claim via PayPal which takes weeks

OMG This place is amazing! Great value for money. The tables are kept to the most wonderful standards. No marks or scratches whatsoever... Staff are welcoming and lovely. The moment I walked in I didn't feel as if I was a customer, they made me feel like family. Me and my friend was there for a couple of hours and we spent under £30 for the table, cue balls, cue and drinks. With todays events with COL that is really cheap compared to other places in Kidderminster. Thank you so much. Will be coming back soon. All my reviews are 100% true and honest.

Great place to play pool

Been using this place for years, recently under new management and think they dealt with the football as best they could! Food spot on, well above what you'd expect in a pool hall. Good selection of drinks, nice big place, plenty to do, and nice people! Wish them all the best!

Good place for pool or darts but they have no snooker tables. They have a less common payment structure as you pay at the table in 12 minute blocks rather than per game or at the end. They don't have any dedicated parking but there are a few spaces on the road outside. The main room is ok but the rest of the place could do with a bit of a revamp. The bar is big enough and serves an adaquet selection of drinks. The staff get the job done with no frills but this is what most people want from this type of place.

Love the stone baked pizzas! There are plenty of different toppings to choose from. The service is always great and so is the atmosphere. We enjoy sitting in the marquee by the canal as we like to bring our dog, it’s a really cosy experience. Would highly recommend!

A really great canal side country pub. Fantastic food, and exceptional service from friendly staff. Some really good half price offers at various times. Usually 5pm ish! Music in some areas and very intimate in others Good value for money.

Brilliant experience from start to finish. The pub has such a great energy, the food was full of flavour and the staff were excellent. The cocktails could use a bit more punch but everything else made up for it. Highly recommend.

An unpopular opinion I'm sure, but the last 2 - 3 meals have been a let down. I've been coming to the Queen's head regularly for well over a decade and usually the menu is varied, with superb quality and great veggie/vegan options. But recently, the menu doesn't seem to offer as much choice for these dietary requirements, and a lot of the same ingredients (e.g. sumac) are used across multiple options, reducing the variety of what's on offer. The quality hasn't been great either with a lot of meals either lacking depth of flavour, bland, or being swamped by one ingredient. I absolutely love this place and the staff are brilliant, but with the cost of eating out as it is, for me, the food isn't where it needs to be at the moment.

Room was quite cool - certainly not cozy. Food was OK but I asked if I could have sweet potatoes instead of white potato chips and was refused but told I could order them as a side. I have not had this request refused at any other eatery. I did enjoy the mini pudding and flat white coffee.

Stopped on the way down to Cornwall from Snowdonia and had a very pleasant beef and Veg burgers! Friendly staff and comfy seats. Recommended!

Libby was very warm, attentive and very polite. The breakfast was very enjoyable. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, some people were wearing their pyjamas and doing their make up. The music was at the right level where we could have a conversation without being drowned out. The pub was clean, tidy and very well set up. The manager came in after to help shuffle some chairs which was nice to see, she even made the effort to have a lovely chat. Overall a very good experience and I look forward in visiting again. The staff are an asset to the pub.

Excellent staff and good choice of drinks and the food was really good. Also thought it was well priced. All areas were clean and tidy apart from the toilets which needed a good clean and maybe some maintenance, my daughter volunteered the same comment about the ladies toilets without me asking. I wouldn't let that put you off as everything else was well above expectations.

We were very pleased with our visit. We were pleasantly surprised by the wedding anniversary card waiting on our table from the pub team. It was a lovely touch to our dinner. The food was delicious, the lamb shank was tender and delicate, the service was efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant, allowing for respite and conversation, even though we were seated close to the kitchen. We highly recommend it.

Meeting a friend for lunch. Easy to drive to, and lots of parking. Lovely place, feels cosy, despite being quite large, and had a great welcome as we walked in from Cameron. Thank you to him as he recommended the best seat in the place (the comfiest sofa!) Food was good, and they offer a blue light card discount on it too.

Lovely country pub on the outskirts of Kidderminster. Friendly staff and nice relaxed atmosphere. Good choice of dishes on the menu with reasonable prices. Nine of us visited on a late Christmas works do. All the meals came out together and were well presented and hot. Very much enjoyed by all and we will definitely be visiting again.

The food was spot on I ordered from the grill and it was fresh tasty and cooked just right The staff were really good too super friendly and always checking if we needed anything which made the whole experience feel really welcoming The only thing that let it down was the drinks Both the Coca Cola and the soda water were really flat which was a bit of a shame because when you’re having good food you want a proper fizzy drink to go with it I’d still go back because the food and service were great but I really hope they sort out the drinks next time because that was the only thing that could have been better

Our favourite Indian restaurant in Kidderminster. There is always a friendly welcome and such a great menu, with lots of great signature dishes on the menu as well as your more traditional dishes, not to mention a great selection of seafood dishes. Good selection of beers and spirits available, which with good company all adds up to a great evening had by all.

Sher-e-Punjab has always been my favourite Indian restaurant. Today was my partners birthday, she gets nervous when eating out at a restaurant so we had a take away instead. I added a little note asking if they could do a little something for her. She and I were blown away that they’d gone to the effort of doing this for her. I even offered them a tip as a thank you but they declined and simply wished her a happy birthday. Thank you very much to the kind people at Sher-e, delicious food and amazing staff 😊

I had a wonderful family meal for my birthday. Everybody was satisfied with the food, the service was excellent with the staff being very polite and friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. With being asked they had brought out a slice of cake with a candle to celebrate my birthday. I highly recommend.

Just delicious! Decided to have a treat and it was so worth it. We had pate starters, Beef Bourgogne, rice and seasonal vegetables and belly draft pork, Dauphines Potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Desert - cheesecake and apple crumble and custard. ❤️

Went for a family meal of four people, perfect meals and high quality all round, also very fast and polite service. Only negative was the cost, however worth it for the quality! Would recommend for special occasions.

Beautiful food as always. Shame they've painted the walls grey though and white bricks?... spoils the cosy feel and usual charm of the place. It felt cold where we were sat in the grey alcove.

Lovely pub, we didn’t eat but had some very good beer (especially the Hobson’s Mild). Ideal location next to the canal, large car park - very important make sure you use the registration machine in the pub. Dog friendly in bar area.

Spot on! Tried the tearoom in my journey to Holyhead. Lovely friendly staff and excellent food. Great value too. I nearly missed the requirement to register my car licence but rectified that in time!!

Decided to try here as I drive past it twice a day to get to work and back, after spending ages deciding where to eat. I saw on the website, that they sold steaks, so this swung me to go, but I was gutted when I got there that the steaks seem to be a Tuesday night special that you have to pre-book; I instead opted for the fish and chips, my usual go to if steaks aren’t served. The fish was huge, the chips although chunky, were cut in a way I’ve never seen before, which seemed to make them more tasty. The fish was delicious! I’m not a fan of batter, but managed half of it with batter which is good for me. Nice little quaint pub, with a good beer garden that overlooks the lock on the canal, and is very interesting to watch when a barge uses the lock, which we got to watch just as we were arriving. After finishing our food, we stayed for another drink, and we could hear the kitchen staff singing along to Zach Bryan; Something in the orange, brilliant song, Sang very well by one of the kitchen staff, just topped it for us. The guy behind the bar, was very friendly and helpful, along with the girl that served our food. Thank you, will visit more frequently!

Very convenient for nearby CCC site . Next to canal - nice place to pop in after a walk for a bite and a pint - which we did . The chips were lovely and the pint of Hobsons Twisted Spire was well served .

Lovely atmosphere, easy to find and nice to watch the river/boats (if you’re lucky!). Staff were nice, little bit of a queue to order but wasn’t too bad. Food was probably the biggest let down here, bland, rushed, and overall not something you’d go out for.

Ordered steak & ale pie got what looked like stew without any pastry. Bar staff very friendly. Waiters came in once never came back to ask how the meal was, a lot of young staff. Beer was just okay not many choice, at least the cider was nice and sweet not vingery. Couple near my table asked for house red wine they got given white, at least was quickly resolved after 5 minutes. Fish & Chips was nice not greasy, with a nice large bowl of mushy peas. Salsa burger was a bit spicy. Nice lounge area. Nice outdoor area plenty of seating next to the lock At least they gave us a free desert for no pastry in the pie. The desert came and it was small a a chocolate sunday was not as nice as it was last time came Small bar area at the front as you walkin to the pub on the left side. Lounge is straight forward. Recomend booking so no waiting for a table. New customers a group of 6 came in got told by a young lad that upstairs was not cleaned and they had booked this 2 weeks ago. Whilst finishing up our drinks got told by the young bar staff lad to hurry up, as this new group of 6 wanted the seats, for this you loose stars, you dont ask people to hurry up when we only been there 45 minutes. Manager was not in. Waiter staff need better training, the girl with the dark hair who served us did a great job, manager only works couple days a week.

We visited this restaurant whilst overnighting in Kidderminster. It was recommended by our hosts and their guests. I enjoyed a prawn biriyani and my husband had a fish curry. A typical Indian establishment catering to British tastes. They even had chips and English dishes on the menu. Pleasant staff and atmosphere.

We haven't visited Cafe Masala for a number of years due to moving out of the area. We visited for Father's Day and just as as it used to be the food was faultless and the service was excellent! We won't leave it so long before our next visit. Thank you.

Great find. Over night stop in an airbnb needed somewhere for tea. 5mins walk and found this little gem. Lovely food great service and reasonably priced. Would definatly pay a visit if we're ever passing again.

We waited over 2 hours for the food to arrive. When the food was ordered it was then delayed, after waiting over the time stated we rang to which they hadn't even cooked the food yet but it would be leaving very soon. We continued to wait and still the food didn't arrive, by this point we had 3 very hungry children as we had waited for 2 hours. We rang back to be told the food was going to be leaving soon to which we stated it wasnt acceptable. They said they would add something in on the house as an apology. After another 25 minutes the food finally arrived, no apology, nothing 'on the house'. The curries were watery and Luke warm, there were only 3 chicken nuggets in the meal and there was hardly no cheese in the cheesy naan. Terrible experience!

Came in today for small family meal, Table pre booked was waiting and clearly marked for us . Food and drinks ordered at the bar hardly any wait at all . Food arrive in a short space of time and looked amazing ,also tasted great to. Staff very friendly and attentive (thank you Liam).Took full advantage of the set menu 3 courses for just over £12 Overall a wonderful afternoon .

Went with a friend 9th April for a catch up over food and drink, greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to our table near the loos which was great as my clumsy mate on crutches (again!!🤣) My friend had the mixed fish with chips and I had a halloumi skewer, both delicious, ate it all, great value for money even before blue light discount. It was quite busy but we still had excellent service, will definitely re visit, thank you

We stopped by for an impromptu Sunday lunch after a walk in the Lickeys, and we were really pleasantly surprised. We felt very welcome here because of the friendly staff, the good selection of cask ale on, and the tasty food. However the main reason for my 5 stars is the exemplary way the staff dealt with my partner's nut allergy. They took the time to go through the menu on their separate system and it was totally clear what she could and couldn't have, and the food arrived separately with a tag indicating an allergy order. We were incredibly grateful that the staff took their time to do this on a busy Sunday afternoon and it gave us the confidence to enjoy our food without worries about allergies.

Took my wife for spontaneous lunch here last week. Was quite quiet in the pub but still a decent enough atmosphere. Staff were very good. Attentive and chatty. The food has improved massively here over the last 6 months and the Sausage and Mash I had was really good. Shout out to Claire, Caitlin, Suzanne, Damien and Owen for the amazing service given. We will be back for sure!

I have not been here for a while and my wife and I were meet with warm welcome from bar persons Jay and Natalie, who made us feel very welcome with nice pleasant and happy vibe .thanks .and the food was also very nice may it only a fish finger sandwich and chicken and avocado wrap .Guinness was creamy too .

Dropped in for a meal here after attending a funeral near by. New to Ember Inns as there are none local to where we live. Expertly looked after by Sarah and her team, Claire, Emily and Carlos, Mia and Kez in the kitchen. Food was served promptly, piping hot and delicious, generous portions too and already good value for money, however we were guided to the app where we were able to take advantage of a promotion saving 40% off our mains! The excellent service rounded off what was an otherwise sombre day. Would definitely recommend!

Asked for food with no red cabbage and after it came with twd cabbage asked for a fresh plate. Still came back with red cabbage on the plate and also a hair on the plate. Not very impressed at all Probably won't eat from there ever again

Came here as a party of 20 for a family birthday meal and was not disappointed. We were made to feel very welcome by Ravi and other staff members. The service was excellent, food orders came out quickly, and everything we ordered was available and accurate. Quite a few of us are veggie/vegan and there was loads of choice which makes a nice change for eating out. The food was so so good in quality, taste, and value that even though I live further afield, I would return to this restaurant. Ravi even kept a birthday cake in the fridge for us and brought it out on request. Thank you to you all for a lovely experience for my sister’s 40th birthday.

Every meal that I have had here has been outstanding. I'm very fussy with Indian food. Most places I find tasteless and generic. Not here. Always full of flavour, beautifully presented and good quality meats (especially the lamb, this is no tough mutton). The staff are always welcoming, friendly and professional. Had poppadoms before starter with extra sauces was really good then proceeded to have my starter which was tandoori lamb chops they were very tender and well seasoned very tasty then to finish with a beautiful Lamb Gosht Patiala which was sublime and was such a flavour explosion in my mouth, it was one of the nicest curries I've ever had. Thankyou to the staff and the host Ravi for such amazing service. Will definitely come again!!!!!

Would give more stars if I could! Service was incredible. Staff very polite and attentive but not too much. We went on Thursday and had the deal - starter, main and naan/rice for £14.99. The portion was good, rice a bit small but had enough curry to take home. Food was great quality. Would definitely recommend and come back with family. For a dine in experience it's perfect! I had the Hario Pario lamb and would definitely recommend!

Absolutely fabulous sunday roast dinner at the white hart hartlebury. Loads of fresh veg loads of locally sourced meat perfection. And more than i could eat. 5 stars. 👌

Visited for Sunday Lunch. £18 one course, £24 two course and £30 three course. If two people have three course you get a free? bottle of wine. We all had roast beef. Generous amount of meat and variance of veg including home made Yorkshire’s and cauliflower cheese. Was delicious, almost as good as mine! Tad pricey but wasn’t disappointed.

Delicious Sunday lunch today, garlic mushrooms in a beautiful creamy blue cheese sauce starter, followed by a lovely lamb roast dinner, crispy roast potatoes, roast carrot and parsnip, cauliflower cheese, cabbage, broccoli and a fab Yorkshire pudding. Eton mess to finish. Will definitely be back!

We went last Sunday with my 1 year old daughter. We hadn't booked but the staff found us a table were very accommodating and made us feel welcome. I visited this evening, around 5pm, and was greeted by a gentleman behind the bar. I was offered a seat in either the bar or the restaurant, I chose the restaurant. The fire 🔥 was on, which was lovely and there were plenty of places to sit. The restaurant and bar was clean and tidy, and the place had a good ambience🏮/feel to it. I was served quickly and professionally. The food was good, I enjoyed the meal, I had the chicken and ham pie option with green vegetables (tasty). And because it was such a long day at work I enjoyed a cappuccino ☕🤩 The price was very fair and I would definitely recommend visiting if you're in the area on business or even passing through. I'll be visiting again, more photos of food to follow 🍲🥘

This is our go to for Sunday lunch Usually it’s amazing , service , food .. We booked and we were taken straight to our seats by a lovely lady our drinks were served straight away .. we waited about 45 minutes for our roast with no explanation why food was so long . The food came it was good , beef is not the same as they used to use , just seemed pre sliced ( the cauliflower cheese was excellent) .. just didn’t seem like the usual 5 stars.. I will say it was a very hot day so I understand how hard things can be just not as good as previous visits

Visited here with friends and was really impressed. Felt welcome as soon as we arrived and the draught HPA went down a treat. The food was fantastic, prepared from scratch and well priced. The chefs are clearly very good at what they do. Everyone was delighted with their meals and the Eton Mess was to die for. There was a lovely friendly atmosphere and all the staff were so happy and helpful. Really recommend a visit it’s clearly very popular so would recommend booking

We came here for our monthly family meal and all had a lovely time. The food was delicious and all plates went back to the kitchen empty, when one of the party’s drink didn’t taste quite right they replaced it with an alternative, staff checked in to make sure everything was ok and we were able to take some leftover dessert home with us. Overall a lovely evening and would highly recommend.

So you're probably expecting this review. I wouldn't have left one, but the manager was so rude, arrogant and cocky so i feel people should have the heads up! His attitude stinks. After working in the pub industry myself, experiencing the way he is with customers is appalling. Unfortunately we booked the wrong 'Swan' pub for father's day meal as we should have gone to The Swan Fairfield, however, we still thought we would give it a try. First impressions wasn't great, but the waitress was chatty and pleasant. We ordered drinks at the table and shortly after ordered food. X2 starters and x1 childs main came out together. The child's chicken nuggets was hard to cut up and pink inside.. we was told the nuggets was OK but they got swapped for fish fingers; these things happen so it wasn't much of a problem but then the fish fingers they replaced the chicken with were rubbery and even my 2 year old spat it straight back out (he loves his food bare in mind). Then our mains arrived - X1 turkey dinner, x1 hunters chicken and x1 sirloin steak. The hunters chicken was literally swimming in BBQ sauce, photos will be attached. I had a mouthful of the chicken and left it, it wasn't great; the texture and taste was horrific. The sirloin steak was full of fat.. luckily part of it was good enough to take home for the dog, but not very edible for my dad. I mean, a positive I suppose from all this, the chips was alright👍 Overall though, I've had better pub grub at a wetherspoons. Our waitress come to collect our plates and we've asked to speak to the manager and, as I've said above, he certainly has got the right attitude for this job, he needs to learn some basic customer service skills. If you're having a bad day, don't take it out on your punters. You have to take criticism from time to time. It's one place I won't be visiting again. Looking forward to your reply to this. Whilst I'm on it, there's a strong smell of urine in both female and male toilets... Id try to get yourself an adequate cleaner. Kind regards :)

Due to the pub we'd booked for Sunday dinner, having a power issue and after trying the Watermill, which had less than accommodating staff, we tried the Swan as we have eaten there before and enjoyed it. We asked, could you accommodate 6 people and 2 dogs, expecting a "No not really" as it was Sunday lunch time? However, the answer was, "Yes come along and we can sort something for you". Blooming marvellous. 10 mins later we arrived and were directed to the outside area, which was fine as the sun was shining. We found a nice bit of shade, more so for the dogs, then went and placed our food and drink orders. One staff member even fetched water for the dogs, which kept them happy. The main courses were filling, well presented and very enjoyable. We saved some room for desert ( as there's always room for desert) and this was also very enjoyable. The food and service couldn't be faulted and we will be coming back again. The fact that, they could get 6 people and 2 dogs in at such short notice, definitely warrants the 5 stars Thank you to all the staff, for saving the day.

A new place for us to try and it was perfect for a Friday post garden centre lunch with my wife and my 90 year old mum. Staff were all lovely. Food was fresh and tasty. Prices good and atmosphere excellent. It was a very warm day and a bit hot in conservatory section but the people, the food and the service were spot on. Thanks for making Mum's day..

We’ve recently moved to the area and were so pleased to come across this lovely pub. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Wendy and Alfie were fantastic, so friendly and attentive, they really made us feel cared for. The food was delicious — full of flavour and just what you’d hope for from a great local. So glad we found this place, we’re already heading back today!

What a fabulous place for lunch. Visiting from Australia and meeting up with family this was the perfect venue. Service was amazing. The girls couldn't do enough for us 🥰 15 in our family party and on a very busy day too. Food was beautiful. We've been travelling for 2 weeks now so having a home made meal with wonderful veggies

Very disappointed today to turn up to an empty restaurant with no customers at lunch time, and told there is no availability for lunch despite the next booking not being until 2pm. We explained we only wanted a sandwich and needed a table to feed our baby. The waitress was polite and did try but the manager seemed disinterested and rude and directed us to a sofa which is unsuitable. We left having a drink and no customers had entered. Maybe if the manager was more relaxed they'd be a bit busier!

Lovely restaurant. Unpretentious, relaxed with quality food, an interesting menu, all beautifully cooked. The only problem was the bread with the Wild Boar Terrine was burnt which has knocked a star off. We'll definitely go back.

The Tap House at Hartlebury is definitely worth a visit if you are looking for great food and great service. You have a choice of sitting in the bar, restaurant or outside. You definitely need to book a table as it's always busy. There is a great choice on the menu and the food is fabulous. It's a family run business and you can really tell they love what they do. We will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch yesterday. There were four of us three meat eaters and myself a vegetarian. I am always a bit worried about eating out especially Sunday lunch situations but I chose the Nut Roast and asked about the potatoes and the lady checked for me that they were also veggie friendly. The meals arrived and looked nicely presented. I realised I had forgot to ask about the gravy situation but I could see mine was different to the others so all was well. We all enjoyed our meals. All cooked nicely and the veggies kept their flavour. Just the right amount too. Good price too. We will return Thank you 💫

Six of us had an early evening dinner after a 10 mile ramble. Excellent food, good service by the friendly staff. Huge portions given the price, so real value for money. The dining room's just a little plain, but that''s such a minor grumble. Will be back.

My local weekend watering hole is an awesome pub. Reasonable prices and friendly, professional courteous staff. Last night the staff involved excelled themselves at my 60th Birthday bash as they did at the previous three family functions we've had there, quite simply a great pub and eatery!

We were a group of 6 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. A few of us had 3 courses and they were all excellent. A young lady waited on us and the service was warm, friendly and very welcoming. We were on holiday and took friends with us to celebrate a big birthday and would not hesitate to recommend The Sun and Slipper. It’s a shame we don’t live closer as we would be frequent visitors there!

Food was absolutely fabulous. One of our favourite places to eat. The meal is presented beautifully and is cooked specifically for you making it a truly personal experience. Seafood is excellent served with the most amazing sauces. The staff are lovely and the decor is refreshingly modern and bright. The setting is perfect for an intimate and special meal. Sadly during our visits very few tables were occupied. Can't think why since it is one of the best restaurants we have had the pleasure to eat in. Highly recommend 😍🍷🎉

We ate here last night. The dining room is beautiful nice, light and immaculate. The ladies that served us were lovely especially the girl who took our bill a credit to your team. Both starters were nice I had the garlic mushrooms and my husband had the pate. For my main I had the fillet steak and my husband had the calves liver. Mine was beautiful so rich and a real treat. Half way through eating I noticed my husband had not ate all of his, which is very unlike him, I asked him why and he said that when he cut into the second calves liver it was pumping out blood and kinda put him off. I felt bad for him and shared my steak and in return nicked some of his homecooked chips which were amazing, so good. My husband ordered the calves liver as this is something I'd never cook at home, so I have no idea if it's supposed to be pumping with blood or not. We still had a lovely night and would definitely recommend the sun and slipper. We were so full we didn't manage a pudding but they looked amazing.

Well this restaurant gets 10/10 from me, popped in for a quick dinner as was staying in a travel lodge near by for work, was super impressed with the quality of food and the service from the waiting staff, having traveled in Nepal a couple of times this is the most authentic Nepali I’ve eaten I’ve in the uk! Super lovely staff and really good value. Will be back without a doubt next I’m in the area

Ordered boiled rice, this was missing Ordered a chef's special, basically a few bits of chicken and a lot of onion in a sweet chilli sauce. This came with a separate bag of sliced raw onion. Almost broke a tooth on the big chunk of bark. I also ordered cheesy chips as I figured if the rest wasn't nice I could eat them and be satisfied but a paper bag with fries that were not even hot enough to melt the tiny portion of grated cheese was not what I expected. How the heck have they got good reviews from people???????

It's my favorite Indian around. The staff are so friendly and welcoming , they are great with my son. Food is the best I've tasted , the chicken tikka massala is nice and creamy with the most soft chicken. The nann bread is hot fluffy and crunchy all at the same time! Hubby has a pathia and he also says its the best , tasty and spicey and just to his liking!

Lovely food, friendly/pleasant staff. Mostly trainees so service poor, not as attentive as you would expect, also mistake with my order. Staff not walking the room frequently enough or scanning the room to see if customers need anything. We must have waited more than 20 minutes for our starter plates to be cleared and cutlery to be brought to our table. This restaurant has only been open for about a week, we believe it has great potential, we will be going back in a month or so to see what progress has been made.

Great flavours. Unusual Pashwari Nan bread with the centre coconut Tumeric and Indian spices. The Prawns in the Dansak were tender rather than overcooked as they often are. Pleasant Sag Aloo

The wife and I paid a visit very early on a Friday night. Even then there was a few other diners in which was a good sign. As soon as we had sat down they wanted to take our drinks order. I asked if he could give us a couple of minutes but he just stood there. What was the rush. Anyway I ordered a Kingfisher and got a Cobra but no matter. It's the first pint I've had that had got ice crystals in it. The poppadoms arrived and just a few minutes after so did the shared onion bhaji which they kindly put on to two salad plates. Service was attentive but we felt rushed. Our plates being cleared as so as the knife and fork went down. The mains coming out within a few minutes. Unfortunately they had got the order wrong with both meals. They forgot the saag in my pathia, conversely the wife's 'dupiaza with a little saag' was full of the stuff. This watered down the gravy which therefore tasted a bit thin. The sides were fine. From start to finish was 30 minutes so I took my time while the Cobra warmed up a bit. We didn't bother with a dessert but I noticed the children's Punky was reasonably priced for once. The bill was quite good and there are no problems with parking.

A great place to eat. The best thing they are serving Halal food. Food has a good taste. And staff is so kind.. I do recommend this place

We attended here the morning of Sat 21st June on the Kidderminster Ale Tour, to start off the day. From the moment I stepped through the door, the warm, welcoming atmosphere set the tone for what turned out to be a thoroughly satisfying experience. The highlights? Without a doubt, the B.E.S.T. and bacon sandwiches. The B.E.S.T being a towering creation of bacon, egg, sausage, and tomato that was as fresh as it was generous. Each bite delivered on flavour and quality, with thick-cut bacon cooked to perfection and eggs that were clearly cracked fresh that morning. It was so substantial, I couldn’t finish it in one sitting—but the lovely staff were more than happy to wrap it up for me to take away. That kind of thoughtful service really sets a place apart. The coffee was another standout - it paired beautifully with the hearty breakfast and rounded off the meal with a comforting finish. What truly made the visit memorable, though, was the team behind the counter. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, striking that perfect balance between attentive and relaxed. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows in both the food and the service. If you’re in Kidderminster and craving a proper breakfast done right, AJ’s Diner is the place to go. You can't beat a Sunday fry up. And yes this place has it. Perfect to beat that Sunday morning hunger. Proper thick bread n toast. A plate that beats the hunger away. If yr in town give it a go. Classic breakfast at it's best.

Great find right by Kidderminster station. I was walking along the River Severn with a friend, so stopped here for a hearty breakfast. I had the large, which was very decent and came with more toast than you would expect! We also ended up buying sandwiches from here to take with us for lunch. We both had the masala chicken - which was excellent when we ate them several hours later! Very flavoursome and great value for money. Would definitely recommend the sandwiches!

Asked for a sandwich to be cooked well done bacon all fatty not cooked through and mushrooms not cooked all watery disappointed as have been before and always been excellent . AJ'S true to there word returned for my free sandwich really nicely cooked as requested and staff really apologetic i will be back thank you

Not a local but definitely my go to choice when in the area. Do a banging BLT on tiger roll. Good quality bacon, bread and salad always fresh and would definitely recommend. Girls behind counter always chatty and friendly

Lovely pub with a relaxed atmosphere, great decor of old photos and memorabilia. Menu had something for everyone and good prices. We ordered the carved ham,tomato and pickle sandwich with gourmet chips and the hot wings sharer,it was scrummy. Staff were friendly,pleasant and helpful and very diligent with their work. Under new management... the same people who used to run our favourite Chinese in Kidderminster Empire Garden! So to say we were excited to try the food was an understatement! Needless to say the chicken curry, ribs, wings, chips and everything else we ordered was perfect! Delivered on time, food was piping hot and tasted delicious 😋 This has become our go to Chinese, best in Kidderminster!

First time using this take away last night. Ordered munch box - C which included chicken curry. Also ordered an extra Thai Red chicken curry. Munch box was ok. Sauce in there was inedible due to being so salty. The 2 curry’s were also very very salty. That bad that we managed about 1/8 of the Thai curry and just couldn’t eat it. Really disappointed. Overall not happy.

I used this restaurant for the first time last month , and the food was beautiful. Well cooked , and not greasey at all , Some of the other reviews seem very harsh and completely different to our experience . One of the nicest takeaways we've had for a while . I'm literally about to order again from there again right now . Looking forward to another great meal 😋

Ordered food last night and can’t really fault the place from what I had last night. About an hour for delivery and the food came piping hot and the portion size was pretty decent. The only thing is the crispy shredded beef was a bit too hard and felt a bit stale but other than that, the food was lovely.

Ordered a delivery afew days ago. Food arrived in time stated and was excellent, best local chinese that I have come across so far, keep it up! Fresh green chillies in the Singapore chow mein, these guys know what they are doing!

Divine is our favourite for takeout and delivery. It's not too expensive the portions and quality are consistent, so when you order a meal it dosent change like some restaurants in our area. But perhaps my favourite things is, your order is always correct. Unlike most Indian restaurants in my area, I have had items missing or not what you ordered at all, like getting a Rogan Josh instead of a Jalfrezi or the Balti is some kind of generic sauce with the odd ingredients changed, but it seems to taste the same whatever you order. Divine do not do this, so I have no hesitation in giving this review a good rating.

I’ve previously had in the past and am having an absaloutely jolly time! Great people, class atmosphere, food to die for, and a great restraunt in general. I have to personally recommend the Chicken Tikka as it was and always is the #1 thing to get! Great prices too- only £2.20 for Naan bread and £3.70 for chicken tikka! Just wow!

Amazing food! We went on a Monday and had the 3 course (poppadoms, starter and main with side) for £13.50 which is great value. The restaurant was very quiet but so clean and looks like it has been redecorated recently! The only advice I'd give is for a bit of music and for the waiter to have a bit more confidence. He was lovely, but let your personality shine! Please visit this gem, such great food.

Great taste, flavour and quality. We were on our way back to home from a trip and glad that we stopped here for a very pleasant experience. Freshly prepared food that we all enjoyed.

Just had a take away meal after many wonderful visits to the restaurant. Food arrived exactly on time and was really hot. The food was exactly what I ordered and cooked to hot spicy I wanted it. Came with complimentary crackers which the kids enjoyed. Will certainly be eating in the restaurant again as soon as they're open but for now the take away is a perfect substitute. Gainsborough House Hotel were extremely accommodating last minute with our wedding guests. Danny and his team were incredibly helpful and supportive in giving us a quote for our guests. As well as providing us with competitive prices for all our guests, they created a range of rooms ranging from single occupancy to family rooms and triples. The rooms were clean and tidy but could have done with a little modernisation. The breakfast was of a good standard with a nice selection of hot food and plenty of cups of tea and coffee. The staff also looked after lost property after the event when one of our guests forgot something. Thank you for everything Gainsborough!

We go to the Gainsborough Hotel on a Thursday evening for Slimming World. Our room is light, airy and spacious. Very clean and comfortable. We pass the dining room en route to our room and the food smells amazing 😋. We have plans to have a meal once restrictions are lifted. There is loads of parking and the place is beautiful to look at. We really like it there 😊

The room standards are impeccable with fantastic facilities including, iron and hair dryer. The staff are friendly and welcoming from the front of house to the cleaning staff. However, the food quality was awful, very undercooked and not worth the money. The restaurant had a café feeling with no atmosphere or ambiance. The restaurant staff began to clear up and set up ready for breakfast around us whilst we ate which made us feel very uncomfortable. They were apologetic when we complained about the food however and offered us a free drink. I feel this would be an amazing hotel if the restaurant was worked on as this let the hotel standards slip from 5* to 3*

Looks a little tired on the outside, but is actually very good inside. Nicely decorated, clean and tidy. Reception was friendly and helpful. The room was a reasonable size with plenty of space for clothes. Also handy were the ironing facilities and hair dryer along with facility for hot refreshments Good sized bath, but toilet space a bit cramped. Very clean and tidy with a large comfy bed. The breakfast was good value and very similar to other English hotels of this standard. One complaint, WiFi in the room was only accessible in the bathroom area and near the room door. Almost impossible to get a signal in any other part of the room. Even so, would still be happy to recommend this hotel for a short break.

Overall it was a pleasant stay ! Check in was very fast and the receptionist was friendly and helpful with eatery recommendations! Room was clean and decent sized even with a nice view ! The only thing is that the kettle gets super hot and I burned my arm a little ! It’s a health and safety issue! Please replace the kettle ! Thank you .

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, lovely nice warm room's, just what you need after coming back from a day out in the cold in this weather. Comfortable night sleep, and the breakfast is amazing. Staff are brilliant and always happy to help, atmosphere is very relaxed and hotel is clean. Never have been disaponted and will continue to keep coming to this hotel. What a fabulous day for my brothers wedding. Everything was great from the planning, communication, rooms, venue, food and service from all staff including Tim, Danny and Jeff.. and all the bar and restaurant staff, nothing too much trouble! The wedding was fantastic and the room looked amazing you did a great job. Thank you for everything.

Me and my wife arrived to stay overnight in our Motorhome which was free as long as you bought drinks or a meal. We parked up in a separate car park owned by the pub which was flat and in a nice setting. On the evening we enjoyed a beautiful meal together with a lovely atmosphere.We got talking to a lovely lady who runs the pub who made us feel really welcome, we would like to say thank you for our stay and we will definitely be returning very soon. I highly recommend the Golden Cross to anybody it was a faultless stay.

Spent most of a weekend here for a friend's wedding. Reception, breakfast, marquee. The facilities were lovely, the food was great but the staff were the highlight. So friendly, so keen to help, couldn't have done more. A really great place with lovely people.

I ordered Rare Steak and it was cooked to perfection and the crumble was beautiful. The staff were lovely and welcoming and very helpful abiding by social distancing measures. The atmosphere was peaceful and sophisticated with the menu being set at an affordable rate. I will definitely be eating here again, all in all a wonderful dining experience.

Disappointed, Went to Foley’s expecting golden cod and crispy chips, but curiosity got the better of me and I ordered the chicken kebab. Bold move. What I got was less “succulent grilled delight” and more “carbon tribute to the chicken that once was.” The kebab was so burnt 🥵

Had a couple of meals from here recently and both were spot on. Highlight being the battered chips. Crispy yet fluffy in the middle, not greasy at all. Highly recommend. Only one thing I wish for is that you delivered but I understand the reasons against this.

Foley's gives me that Friday night treat feeling...even if it's a Monday. Big fan of this place. The battered chips are spot on, service is solid, and the prices are fair. It’s not somewhere you’d take your wife on a date, but honestly, if it's a night in with a take away you're after then consider this place. A genuinely great chip shop.

Busy local chippy food is nice good service and good selection of food can get busy of a lunch time and evening sits on a very small retail park on site 3 other businesses so parking at the front & at the rear of the premises.

This chippy must have changed ownership since i last used it. I bought a Donna Kebab for lunch with all the salad, i may as well have gone to Greggs for a salad sandwich. Although there was plenty of salad,the meat and sauce was lacking, i felt robbed when the price was over £8. I could have easily eaten two of them, whereas i could not manage one in the past. I have now changed my chippy to one that gives you a good serving of everything and is cheaper, will not be giving this chippy my custom in future..

Pleasant staff who were friendly. Everything was cooked well, but just simply not as good as fish and chips nearer to the coast that we are used to, ie the fish didn’t taste as fresh and the chips were so/so and the onion rings batter was quite fatty, which coated your mouth and want very pleasant. So, it was OK but not great.

Great traditional chippy that also does really good kebabs. Owner is a joy, thoroughly nice chap. Always greets his customers with a smile and is only ever too happy to help. Works really hard to deliver great food and customer service. Very highly recommended.

I have just had mini fish and chips. I have to say, they were the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. Don't know what oil they cook them in but there were beautiful plus the fish was amazing and it was piping hot . Thank you.

Living fairly local I have tried several Chinese takeaways in the Kidderminster and Bewdley areas and in my opinion King Wah is the best one I have tried so far. I have been in several times and each time the service has been very good with food to match. Usually busy which tells you something !! Give them a try !

Curry sauce was squished inside the bag and split all over the other food, kung po was tasteless and bland. Other chicken was dry. All round the most disappointing takeout Ive ever had! Worse when calling to complain I was told that 'are you a regular with us' and I replied that I was not, the owner replied 'well there you go, we all do it differently'. No apology, no refund. Terrible customer service

Lovely Chinese takeaway. Everything was delicious, piping hot, and we had some chicken wings and prawn crackers for free. Super reasonably priced too. We will definitely be back!!

I recently moved to Kidderminster and have been looking for a decent Chinese takeaway, and after trying a few others locally we tried King Wah, which was the best by far. Food was tasty and hot, and the chicken balls were nice and crispy unlike other places we've tried. Will definitely be ordering here again.

I’m ngl the food is always cold and stale, and you nearly always get told to park at the front when there’s no where to park, so you’re blocking people or parking in areas you should and everyone ends up mad. I understand you can’t physically make the car park bigger, but I’m sure everyone else, myself included would rather wait in the queue at the windows instead. I get told to park up even when it’s not that busy, the manager needs to sort this out it’s not working and people are getting fines. Also I do the food for thoughts survey on the receipts to get the Big Mac n medium fries for 2.99 but every single time at ONLY this Maccies the receipts are always printed bad so you can NEVER read the code to get the discount. It’s a good deal as a treat with the cost of living so it’s disappointing you can never get one at this store. I know it’s not a nice job and some of the staff are really nice some are rude is what it is in retail, but I’m not blaming the staff it’s the food and everything else that’s wrong with this place, it’s honestly shocking quality every time. Honestly if you want to enjoy your Maccies go 10 mins down the road to the one at Worcester road instead, the food is nearly always nice and hot, and their receipts are always printed clear plus plenty of parking and waiting bays and they have click and collect bays which is a bonus.

If you use the drive through and they tell you to park and wait, don’t move from the window. There’s only 2 waiting bays and they are often full. There’s only other place to park is on yellow lines, if you do, you’ll get fined £60

Whilst mistakes were made with our order, the food was good. The annoying thing is the scarcity of customer parking. We ended up having to pay for parking in the nearby shoppers car park.

TERRIBLE. Food is always cold. Service is always terrible. There is always something wrong or missing and to top it off they are now telling you to park round the front and then you get a fine!! Wow. Great business!!

They really need to sort out the staff there opened the wrapper the chicken mayo burger was all over the place and fries and nuggets were cold terrible. My local Indian takeaway has truly mastered their art. I’ve had yet another gorgeous takeaway from them today- 10:10 gold standard. The food is consistently delicious—rich, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. The customer service is top-notch too—friendly, prompt, and always attentive. Nothing is ever too difficult for them, I always modify items on the menu. I absolutely can’t recommend this Indian enough, a front of house staff member even offers to walk me to my car when my order is larger than usual.

So this was my first time using spennals tandoori. I explained I was new to the area and I have not been to them before. The person at the counter asked what I was into, if I had curries before what I was feeling having etc. he walked me through the menu and gave some recommendations on what he thought I may like. He did encourage based on what I said to try a veg Bangalore. I never had one before so I took a shot in the dark and tried it. I have been to curry houses before in and around Birmingham but the Bangalore curry was honestly better than most curry houses. The flavour, spices was just next level. Will revisit 100%

Ordered plenty of different sides with rice(s) and currie(s) naan(s) a real platter! Really nice service and communication with the front of house. If you’re craving a seriously delicious burger 🤤 this is the place to go! It was my first time trying it and I was blown away. They’re located inside the pub called The Cavalier just on the right hand side when you walk in, which made it perfect - we just grabbed a table inside and enjoyed our food right there. I almost never leave reviews (and didn’t even take any photos), but this one was too good not to share. 100% worth a visit - you won’t regret it 😎

Not sure to be honest, first time trying and wasn’t too keen but would probably give them another go. Not sure if it’s just the burger I ordered (maple) but just didn’t taste great (to me). Important to note others seem to have given it great feedback. Can totally recognise the quality in the food is there though which is why I would try another product Incase it just wasn’t for me. Overall, great takeaway. Prompt delivery, friendly staff. Easy takeaway service. Loved the seasoned fries and had them with cheese.

OMG! Burger heaven! Always loved their burgers but being able to sit and have a pint whilst gorging myself silly was a dream! Defo highly recommend!! Looking for something different, wr came here for the five course set price menu. A little worried about past experiences of those type of offer, being small portions and boring food. This was not the case here. Although the portions were not huge, no doggy bag here, the food was well prepared and nicely presented and flavoursome

A party of 21 came to the restaurant to celebrate my sister and brother in laws 50th wedding anniversary last night 17.4.2025. I would like to thank them for making this night so special. The staff, food, atmosphere was first class 5⭐️ restaurant. Thank you all so much. .

Tonight's take away.......very disappointing. incomplete order, when i called it was "can you come and fetch"! We paid for delivery so no!! Fish pakora not cooked - had to reheat in microwave as waited for the rest of order to be delivered, which prob didn't help. Soggy and tasteless. Delivery driver was the best thing about the experience, nice pleasant young man.

Lovely food, excellent service and great value for money. I missed out that you can take your own drinks. Thoroughly recommend to friends and reader's.

Our new local favourite restaurant ( as we are VERY local 😋 ) ; but well deserved because of the consistently great food served with a very authentic ' freshly ' prepared cuisine - the atmosphere is great & the staff are so attentive & provide a fabulous service when dining in - It's a welcoming, highly impressive experience with wonderful generously portioned food, coupled with superb service & .... competitive pricing !! Great value 👏 👌.

What a great little find! Spontaneous visit while passing through. The service was outstanding, the owner was sooooo kind and hospitable and the food was delicious! 🤤 Couldn't speak more highly of the place. If we are passing through again it would definitely be on our to revisit list! Unfortunately we took no photos, but it was great 👍

This food was absolutely appalling. I hate to be nasty. But I payed £30 and I’ve nearly thrown up it’s made my stomach feel so dodgy. The customer service was lovely I had no problem with that. But the food. Especially the dumplings are really nasty.

We ordered a take away delivery after my Wife and I had returned from work, we also checked they had our food available before we placed the food order. We were told at 19.22 that it would take about 45 minutes. We rang again at 20.51 and we were told it was on its way. It landed at our door at 21.08 which is close to 2 hours from time of order. We refused to accept it because it had been such a long time. Their food might be OK but that is a ridiculous amount of time for a simple delivery of two main courses!

The food here is delicious and the portions are generous. Everything I have tried so far has been 10 out of 10. Family and friends have also commented on how tasty the food is. The staff are very helpful and friendly and happy to accommodate your needs. The prices are very reasonable. My only negative point would be that the ambience is more of a lunch time setting than an evening one. Would definitely recommend.

A collection service. Food was served quickly by friendly staff. At the moment, it is definitely the best Chinese takeaway in Kidderminster. Good luck with the restaurant venture. Free massage chairs are available for waiting customers.

Beautiful food. We had special curry, thai special fried rice, crispy wontons, thai prawn crackers. One of the best, if not the best Chinese we've ever had. Delivery time spot on & the food was extremely hot. Well done Empire Garden! We will definitely order again! Lots!

Had a meal at China Legend last night, the staff were very polite and courteous. Food was really tasty, we had 3 courses with a Groupon deal and have to say I would definitely go there again. One thing the restaurant could do is have the warmers on the table as the food didn't stay as warm as it could have for too long.

Used for the first time via the just eat app. Food was delivered over an hour late, even after phoning the restaurant. And this was a Thursday night so probably not that busy. The food arrived and was cold and some of the order was missing. Most of the food went in the bin and an email sent to the restaurant and to just eat. We will never use empire garden again, especially with a £4 delivery fee. Disgusting service.

I have ordered from this chip shop for a number of years with good food. The food that was delivered today was disgraceful. I order two large fish. Each being the size of a mini fish with the batter almost completely missing due to it being stuck to the paper. The chips had clearly been cooked in oil that was under temperature as they has turned to one lump of mash in the bag. The mushrooms had been cooked so much they were tiny and dried up. I called the restaurant for a refund and was told that while she was the person in charge she was not in a position to offer it. She offered to replace the order as long as I collected it myself. The whole order cost £40.38 with delivery. The people there should be ashamed of themselves of what they have cooked and offer to the public.

A great chip shop that does Gluten free battered fish. Price is average. Service was excellent Parking not brilliant but a car park is nearby worth the effort. There are seats inside and outside. Portions are a nice size

Stunningly good chips and fish. Never tried this place before, and only ended up there as the chip shop further up the hill was closed (9 pm on a Friday????) But goodness me, what fabulous chips!! And the fish was equally good. Also tried the chicken kebab, which was quality. Recommended.

Came down for the kidderminster v reading game from reading and was absolutely delighted with the service! Chips were delicious, didn't need any sauces or dips because they had so much flavor. Chicken was juicy and the coating was lovely, and my dad got given an extra sausage. Lovely meal, and the owner made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend :)

Found this little gem by chance, and what a find. Recently taken over by new management. The decor was welcoming and comforting, with very nice leather sofa's and armchairs, amongst other tables and chairs. with a nice out door area included at the rear of the pub. We had an afternoon lunch which was of high quality at a very decent price. Staff was very pleasant too. A must visit, one which we will certainly be returning too soon.

We had an excellent meal. The food was first class. They obviously have a brilliant chef. The front of house staff were friendly and very polite. I don't hesitate in giving it 5*'s. Don't miss out get in and have great food and drink.

A fantastic place that has now changed its name to, "The Post House". The service, food and drink were all brilliant. Our group contained 2 members who have food intolerances and the staff couldn't have been more knowledgeable or helpful, they modified dishes to allow everyone to have a thoroughly enjoyable meal.

I had an amazing time watching a bob Morley tribute and getting drunk with my friend. The other guests were enjoying themselves and the staff were extremely pleasant and approachable! I would give 5 stars if only the toilets had more lighting and taps were less wobbly. Overall Two thumbs up

Been coming to this pub since moving to kidderminster 15 years ago, seen it from the old bar to the new. Staff always friendly and they arrange so many events. Last time we came was for my best mates daughters 18th. A area of the bar was reserved just for us and we had their food and you get lots for the money so great value.

Ordered, paid £30 and called up after half an hour and it said the app was down. Kidderminster dominoes should have told us the app was down before we ordered and shut it down on uber eats and dominoes app. Joke.

Waited over 2 hours while they delivered to another address and after many phone calls they were still hopeless at sorting this out. Never order from this pizza place, shocking service!!

Used Domino’s Kiddminster now on a few occasions. First time Pizza and service spot on 2nd time the same. 3rd time tracked he had gone everywhere arrived at ours phoned me to say we was not in. Said he had knocked the door rang the bell. No answer So I tried to explain to him about Ring door bell and. CCTV we have and how he just sat in the car did not come to the house. We did not complain food was just warm not hot. Domino’s sent an email there tracker said he took to long use this code and have one on us. Tried that kept saying could not be used. So ordered an Indian curry from Kinver delivered no problem and hot. Shame on Domino’s May try again at some point. ( Kiddminster branch. ).

Excellent pizzas very tasty and hot plenty of toppings overall most excellent pizzas prices are bit expensive but I always look for the deals

if i could give this place 0 stars i would. No gherkins on the hamburger pizza, rations on the cheese, one piece of pepper per slice on the DOUBLE pepper pizza i ordered, and a very uneven slice on my half and half. i will never be ordering again. i am very upset.

I have ordered a couple of times from this domino’s now and both times have been good. In past other dominoes have forgotten the dips but this one hasn’t. The pizzas have been freshly cooked both times and the delivery drivers were polite and friendly.

Ordered four large pizzas for collection 2 pepperoni 1 texts bbq and 1 vegetarian. Be mindful I have had to educate staff that if you are handling meat pizzas without gloves on you need to wash your hands.If I was not here to witness this myself I would not have believed what I was witnessing. I will be speaking to head office regarding this shocked is an understatement.

Way too salty on the curries but the duck was nice, easy on the salt guys to us it was inedible.

I've being to Lai's garden a few times and their fried rice dishes were tasty! This time i ordered a chicken curry. When i tasted the meat it was pork with grissel. Why did they put pork in when i asked for chicken??

What can i say always good and tasty food been going here for years they do the best curry sauce around, Had a very tasty special curry with fried rice cannot be beaten locally for value for money and taste

Not a very good Chinese, shredded beef was chewy, chicken wings were bland and soggy. The chips were stale first time I ordered from here and will be the last

2 years ago I posted the review about this place was always good food but now it's not good for the past 2 months not getting what you order and when you do get it not worth the wait and when you phone them up and let them know no they don't want to know time for me to stop going there now

Ended up stopping by here after my sister recommended it. Amazing Greek authentic restaurant, lovely decor and staff were fantastic. All the tables were clean and the food was delicious & fresh, really generous portions and price was really reasonable too. Staff were really attentive. Will be coming back soon. The home made sauces were delicious. The chicken kebab platter is recommended. Chicken was marinated and seasoned.

My son suggested this place as he reckoned it had the most authentic food outside of Greece 🇬🇷 He was right. A real gem of a place with generous portions of quality food, and such a variety. Great for kids and families. They put some tables together for us. Much laughter- great vibe. Could have been somewhere far, far away. Epic!

I'm delighted to share our wonderful experience at Home of Souvlaki in Kidderminster. Being enthusiasts of Greek cuisine, our first visit to this restaurant was nothing short of amazing. The food surpassed our expectations, leaving us thoroughly pleased and satisfied. The Greek beer served alongside further enriched our dining experience. The restaurant's interior, with its pleasing decor, created a welcoming atmosphere. Admittedly, the room could have been a bit warmer, but considering we visited during winter, it was a minor inconvenience. Overall, we left very pleased with the delightful flavors and ambiance. We are already looking forward to returning on our next visit to Kidderminster. Highly recommended for fellow Greek food enthusiasts.

The food was really good and very reasonably priced, only £13.50 for a main course and drink! The only negative was that it took 45mins for our food to come, but the restaurant was practically empty with only 12 people in it so we weren't sure why it was a very long service wait. Overall would definitely recommend, but service could have been improved.

Food was excellent and the staff were lovely! Would definitely recommend! We had the mixed grill for 2 and it was more than enough for 2 people. They also gave us 2 greek pastry desserts that were gorgeous 🤤

Food great, service and staff are even greater. Good value for money food, but wine way too expensive. Will probably become a firm favourite for the eating out experience, but wine is lower in price everywhere and the two Indian restaurants in the same street offer BYOB, so maybe they should think on regarding the drinks question?

It is a shame that when forced to explain that you have a chronic condition and there is an immediate need to use the toilets, the three members of staff relied on one to repeat 'for customers only', when there are just two teenage girls sat in the place. Disgusting attitude from the staff.

Ordered on just eat to wait over an hour to receive no food and have the order confirmed as delivered. To then be ignored when I try to phone the store as they wouldn't pick up the phone. Useless.

Love Subway and this place is no different. Good service and the owner takes pride in his store

I recently visited Subway and it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Have been using this takeaway for a couple of years now. Never had an issue before and the quality has been good on virtually every dish we've tried. Had an issue a few weeks back with an side item being missing from the order during an extremely busy day for them. Contacted them directly, the guy I spoke to seemed to be having a tough day with the sheer quantity of orders but was very polite and apologetic and brought out the missing item personally which was great customer service. I've got no plans to try anywhere else for our takeaways :D

The food is exceptional, I’ve always had a great meal and the delivery so far has always arrived early. The delivery guy is really friendly as well , I’ve used others that were also great but Eurasia has the edge on taste and price

Posted a good review 3 years ago and gave a 5 star rating. Stated how lovely the food was. Had a take away 3 weeks ago. Food was reheated, chicken tikka was dried up and the whole meal wasn't fresh and over priced. Will not be returning. Deleted my previous 5 star rating as was still posted as recent and it was three years ago!!

Great food and speedy delivery service. The staff are friendly and polite, you can see the food preparation are so know it's clean. We've never had a bad meal from here. Best Indian in the area.

Our first order - two mains, rice, chapati and side for £18.55. Ordered for 20:35, restaurant amended to 20:55 and delivered at 20:45 so very happy with delivery. Mains tasted great, but the prawn Dhansak was more like shrimp - very small and entirely lost in the thick sauce. I would definitely order again, but just not have prawn unless I want shrimp.
