Lo Scorfano Allegro is a refined beachside restaurant located in Sardinia, offering a seafood-centric menu with pasta and risotto. The restaurant boasts an incredible location right next to the beach, providing stunning views of the bay. The decor follows a marine theme, creating a spectacular sea-side ambiance. Guests can enjoy buffet-style dinners featuring seafood specialties, hors d'oeuvres, grilled fish dishes, and desserts.
This beautiful restaurant by the beach is the epitome of what a dining experience should be: exquisitely beautiful and delicious food, amazing cocktails, stellar customer service, and an elegant ambiance with view of the beach through tall glass windows. I ate here twice during my trip to Golf Aranci. And the prices are reasonable for the quality of food.

Definitely recommend this place 😊 best sea food we had in island! Very nice view, staff is very helpful 🤗

Really top class meal for the four of us. Super quality, well presented in a fabulous atmosphere. Great owners and staff. Bravo.
Philip C — Google review
The owners/servers speak English very well. On the beach AND the nearest marina street. Take a look at the desserts in the display case as you enter. The QR code on the table will give you the menu in non-Italian languages. The appetizers were beautifully presented; every main dish had edible flowers. Wow. YES, we'll return!

Truly amazing and fine food, excellent and fast service, right in front of the sea… what else ? Thank you!
Matthieu G — Google review
I had lunch at this place. Nestled beside an idyllic beach, the setting offered amazing views . The menu boasted an impressive selection of fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, paired with regional wines. The service was excellent . Would I return? yes.
Alan B — Google review
This place is just a dream! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Sardinia :) The service was great; the waiters were very attentive and friendly. As a starter we had the dish with artichoke and our main dishes were the risotto with fennel, gamba’s and parmesan and the spaghetti with clams. We loved all of them! Everything is locally sourced and tasted very fresh! Also the drinks are good. For dessert they come to your table with a cart filled with the most delicious desserts and you can pick the one that speaks the most to you. We went for the tiramisu, and loved it as well. It is a bit expensive, but I thought it was worth it since besides the good service and food you also have a spectaculair view. I loved the vibes!
Mies — Google review
I really would recommend a visit if you’re staying close by. The service was excellent - thank you. We had the octopus with Jerusalem artichoke to start which was delicious and then I had the prawn and fennel risotto which is almost certainly the best risotto I have ever had and I wanted to hug the chef! The tiramisu for desert was ok but would personally prefer a boozier and stronger flavour. Would gladly return. Thank you to the whole team for your efforts.

Ristorante Pizzeria Al Belvedere is a fantastic spot for lunch, particularly on Wednesdays. Their menu offers a variety of mouthwatering dishes, including pizzas, squid ink tagliolini, and Fritto misto della casa. Customers rave about the delicious food and the excellent service provided by the friendly staff. The restaurant boasts a picturesque view of the sea and creates a welcoming and cozy atmosphere.
Reasonably-sized family-run restaurant along the main street, with some views to the coastline. Combination of traditional Sardinian cuisine and pizzas - all quite reasonable. Friendly staff and good service. Portions are big! We ate there a couple of times across the week and always managed to get a table (May).
Jenny C — Google review
We've dined here three times, and each visit has been fantastic. The gluten-free pizza is the best I've ever had—highly recommend it! The service was excellent and fast, making the experience even better. The only downside was the lack of gluten-free pasta. I'm confident that if they offered it, it would be just as amazing as the pizza.
Amber T — Google review
Excellent food, nice interior, super friendly staff. Real good Italian cuisine. Delicious pasta dishes and pizza. Tiramisu creamy like a dream. 😍
Laszlo J — Google review
We tasted very delicious pasta and pizzas. We ate botarga as starter. That was delicious, however everybody may not find so delicious the fried anchovy. We also ordered tiramisu as desert and not successful like their pizza. Restaurant was very crowded. You should accept to wait 20 min or more if you do not have reservation. We suggest to do reservation before hand.
Huseyin Y — Google review
Very friendly staff with delicioius cuisine. One of the best restaurants in Olbia region where I want to return next time. Even pizza margharita that was ordered by my daughter was really tasteful. Grazie!
Patrik N — Google review
An excellent spot for a delicious dinner or pizza. This is the go-to place if you're looking for quality and good prices. We visited three times, and each time the service was friendly and professional. The food was delicious. Sitting outside often comes with a pleasant breeze, which is a relief during the hot August temperatures. It's a shame that photos can't capture the taste and joy we experienced while visiting this place because I made just two ;-)

“Spigola al sale” is missing from the photos, but it was as good as everything else. Grazie mille!

Firstly i need to thank every single one of the staff that looked after me as i unfortunately passed out as we were dining there. Their care for me and my family was absolutely amazing and i cannot thank the staff there enough for being so attentive and quick to ensure i was ok. Secondly, the serivce and food was some of the best we've had on our holiday this side of Sardinia. The pizza (margarita) and pasta (carbonara) were outstanding and im gutted i didnt get to eat dessert. I will be back before i leave to try more!

Blu Restaurant is a renowned dining spot located in Porto Cervo's small Piazzetta. It offers an award-winning dining experience with authentic local dishes and Sardinian recipes, showcasing the region's culinary heritage. The restaurant takes advantage of its prime location by offering stunning views of the bay of Golfo Aranci, making it an ideal setting for a memorable evening meal.
Stayed on the Gabbiano Azzurro hotel beach for the day and had lunch at their beautiful restaurant overlooking the spectacular Golfo Aranci bay. The service was exceptional with young and old staff waiting. We had a tuna sals and Octopus salad to start followed by a veal milanese and fried seafood with chips. The veal could have fed three and was tender and perfectly cooked. Finally finished with two affogatos. We will definitely come back soon.

Lived close by. Ordered a cocktails. Good quality for the beach bar! Delicious. View is amazing. Location is convenient, with small parking spot. The sea is in 5 m from the bar.
Artur A — Google review
A beautiful spot next to the water, service impeccable and food gorgeous. We went twice, for lunch and dinner, the menus different for each visit, we started with ceviche which was lovely and fresh, then a starter of pasta (cooked to perfection - well we are in Italy!) and a main, for lunch this was swordfish (not a large plate), and dinner the suckling pig. Only small point, warm bread would have been nice. Highly recommend.
Gavin R — Google review
Excellent service with a beautiful sea view from the outdoor terrace. In the summer, it’s most pleasant after the sun has set. All of our food was delicious, and the prices reasonable given the quality of food, service, and atmosphere. You can ask for a separate vegetarian menu that includes vegan options. Reservation recommended. Excellent experience all around!
Cameron W — Google review
We have been here for dinner tonight and it has been the worst experience ever. I ordered spaghetti with shrimp and the spaghetti was definitely missing the shrimp, the staff did not bother to check how was the food or showed no interest whatsoever despite me leaving the plate barely touched. Strong no of you are looking for high quality Italian food

We had a great night thanks to this restaurant. We had reservation via website. Service and the staff were amazing. We had excellent service from Irene. We had rice as starter and veal and catch of the day(seabass) as main, soufflé as dessert. They were all delicious! Soufflé was a bit too small to share for 2. Overall we had really delicious dinner with a sea view. Thanks to the chef and the staff!

La Terrazza su Figarolo Home Restaurant in Golfo Aranci offers a unique and authentic dining experience with stunning views. It's a family-run restaurant where meals are prepared in the family home kitchen using fresh ingredients, including fish straight off the boat. The hosts, Tiziana and Fabio, provide warm hospitality and present the delicious food with passion. Guests can enjoy an intimate dinner while taking in the amazing view over the bay of Golfo Aranci.
I had an extraordinary dining experience today at la terazza. The home-cooked meals were both delicious and heartwarming, making it feel like a true culinary haven. Each dish was crafted with love and authenticity, bursting with fresh flavors that delighted the palate. The cozy ambiance and attentive service added to the charm, making it a perfect spot for anyone seeking a genuine, heartwarming meal. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant for an unforgettable home cooking experience.

Our visit to La terrazza was extraordinary. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfectly setting the stage for the evening. The service, provided by the charming couple who run the restaurant , was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. The food was simply outstanding, with each dish beautifully presented and full of flavours. Their wine recommendations were spot-on, enhancing the overall experience. What truly sets La terraza apart are the personal touches and the hosts’ passion for their craft. Their stories and dedication made our evening unforgettable. They really offers a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience that we will cherish forever. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience! We dined at one large table with a group of strangers, whom we got to know over the course of the dinner. The view overlooking the marina was wonderful. The hosts prepared several delicious courses accompanied by wine. They explained what each course was, what inspired it, its origin etc. Highly recommend!
Ros F — Google review
I came here with my 2 sons, 12 and 15th. The food was very good.. Lot of different courses. My sons don t eat like adults and they don’t drink wine. I paid 300€, 100€ for each one of us. That’s not a fair price. There must be a price for adults that eat and drink wine and a price for kids or teenagers. For this price it was good to bring them in an upscale restaurant on the beach. So just ask the price before you go and make sure your kids don’t pay 100€ each
Simon B — Google review
We had the best time at La Terrazza, it was amazing! The family are so accommodating and we loved our experience. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Golfo Aranci. Thank you so much for the hospitality and the history of the food, it was all delicious.
Sabrina G — Google review
The most amazing experience and the highlight of our trip to Sardinia. We had the seafood menu and everything was so delicious. Tiziana and Fabio were great hosts. Highly recommend 🌟
Sophie M — Google review
We visited Sardinia and went to La Terrazza su Figarolo twice. Everything there is fantastic: The delicious authentic food is prepared with fresh ingredients, fish straight off the boat and real passion for cooking. Tiziana and Fabio are warm, welcoming and polite hoste, they make guests feel at home and present the food very well. Last but not least, the view over the bay of Golfo Aranci is amazing and it is a pleasure to see Fabio at work in their beautiful kitchen. On top of that, they serve great wines that complement the food. We had two babies with us who also felt very at home - they just slept in their prams while we had some of the best food we'd ever eaten! One member of the group had some food intolerances, which Tiziana and Fabio maneuvered very well and created a fantastic menu for this person, also. If you are on Sardinia, this is a must! In fact it's worth traveling to Sardinia just for this experience!
Patrick A — Google review
Home cooking at its finest! A real ‘must’ for anyone visiting Sardinia. Stunning food, incredible wine and wonderful company, an evening to remember. We went for the seafood night and immediately booked to go back and try the evening with Roman cuisine. Not to be missed.

Gentedimare Restaurant Golfo Aranci offers a unique dining experience with its exceptional location right by the sea, providing breathtaking sunset views. The restaurant is known for its high-quality dishes and attentive service, making guests feel pampered from the moment they arrive. Dishes like the fried baby squid starter, seafood pasta with bottarga, and catch of the day fish are highly recommended. The staff, particularly Roberto, is praised for their friendliness and attentiveness.
Luxurious and cozy at the same time sea view restaurant. Absolutely delicious food , fresh ingredients (tuna, red shrimp…) with touch of other ingredients. Amazing experience with reasonable prices. One of the best in Golfo Aranci and even along Costa Smeralda !
Lydia L — Google review
Beautiful setting and a busy restaurant. Shame about the food. The bread was stale, the pasta was undercooked and my partner got food poisoning from the shellfish. It’s expensive because of its privileged position. I was a bit suspicious it wouldn’t be any good as the senior waiter was scruffy and unshaven. Not a good look for what should be a slick operation. If the food had been good, the price would be acceptable but it just wasn’t !
Lloyd S — Google review
Was there for a dinner. Spectacular view, beachfront. Friendly staff. We ordered fried squid (4 ⭐️), pasta de mare (shrimps not fresh, pasta not a homemade). Appetizers were delicious, recommend octopus. Bred in the table wasn’t fresh. Good for a dinner but nothing special.
Artur A — Google review

Daniel P — Google review
10/10. the staff was so attentive and kind, food spectacular, met the chefs. Definitely worth the visit.
Sheena — Google review
We had a delicious and memorable meal. The fried baby squid starter was crispy and tender. The seafood pasta with bottarga and the seafood fregola were delicious. We had the catch of the day fish, with roasted potatoes, tomatoes and olives - it was fresh and perfectly cooked. The service was exceptional, especially Roberto who was as so friendly and attentive. The view of the water as the sunsets was great. The cherry cheesecake (with a couple of glasses of mirto) was the best way to finish.
Vincent F — Google review
Starters were good. The mains were good for the kids, not so much for the adults. We ordered the tomahawk medium and it came out rare, which is still ok by me (I’ll usually eat medium-rare in a steakhouse) but missing the intended cooking amount by that much is a pretty big miss. Something to consider if you order that. We ordered some grilled seafood that likely didn’t get brought out fast enough and that was only lukewarm. Fish needs to be brought out quickly once prepared. The service was generally good, as it got busier, our waiter was a little less attentive. The atmosphere was fantastic, right by the water, beautiful views.
Baris O — Google review
Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We ordered a lobster that turned out to be virtually inedible. When we expressed our concerns to the staff, they showed no interest in addressing the issue and were completely unhelpful. Before ordering, we were clearly assured that the maximum price for the lobster would not exceed €200. However, to our surprise, we were charged €320 on the final bill—with no explanation or willingness to resolve the discrepancy. Given the poor service, lack of accountability, and misleading pricing, this is not an establishment I would recommend or consider visiting again.

La Pecora Viziosa is a pizzeria located in Golfo Aranci, Sardinia, Italy. It offers delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. Visitors have praised the quality of the food and the friendly service provided by the staff. The restaurant is recommended for anyone visiting the area and looking for great value for their money. Popular pizza restaurant with friendly staff, great food and service. We had Montanare for starters (friend pizza dough balls with a tomato sauce) followed by a Diavola pizza and mixed salad, plus Tiramisu, half litre of red wine, water and a small beer. Less than 60 euros. Perfect!
Jenny C — Google review
If you’re looking for incredible pizza in a truly authentic Italian setting, this place is a must-visit. The pizzas are fantastic — the dough is perfectly cooked, the ingredients are super fresh, and the flavors are spot-on. Whether you’re into classics like Margherita or want to try something a bit more creative, you’ll find something to love. The staff is very friendly and attentive, which really adds to the overall experience. Just keep in mind that only a few of them speak English, so it’s a great chance to practice your Italian — and honestly, it makes the experience feel even more local and genuine. The space itself is beautifully decorated, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s stylish without feeling too formal, and it’s perfect for both casual and special occasions. Prices are fair for the quality of food and service. If I had to point out one small thing, it would be that they had the AC running on the terrace, which felt a bit unnecessary. But honestly, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. All in all, this is a fantastic spot for amazing pizza, great service, and a lovely ambiance. Highly recommended!

Fantastic place - simple, fresh menu, great service, really cool decor and vibe. Cool and trendy, I can only liken this place to the kid in school ypu wanted to be like - suave, chill, and effortlessly je-ne-sais-quoi. Food is amazing, and all freshly made to order. The dude working the pizza oven was a pleasure to watch... not sure if it is a family run establishment, but it sure felt like it. Great wine menu, excellent service - *brilliant* food, flawless service. Amazing!

By far the best pizza I had in Sardinia - so good that I almost got addicted to their Campidanese pizza and had to come back not once, but three times for it! Make sure to leave some room for their equally amazing pistachio semifreddo 🥰

They were able to squeeze me in on the patio, which I really appreciated. The pizza was amazing, although I sort of wish I had gone with a classic Margherita. Prices were fair, and the vibe was busy but there was always someone to flag when I needed something.

Amazing experience for this seafood restaurant in Golf Aranci with Incredible view over the sea. We’ve chosen tasting menu, the waiter was very accommodating as some of us didn’t eat raw fish, so the menu was customized for them, we really recommend this experience especially that the chef is really keen to protect the sea environment! It’s like a fine dining restaurant. Foods and portions don’t deserve their price. Prices are very high, main courses are 36€ and starters 24€ but you can’t feel ful after eating one main course and one starter. Starters cannot be counted as a portion they are very little. We ordered a mereng as a dessert. It was the most basic dessert I have ever ate and it did’t even taste good. Just don’t waste your money by going there.

Fine dining family restaurant that focuses on local produce and sustainability. You’re literally sitting in the sand which is novel. Newly in Golfo Aranci, we weren’t familiar with the necessity to book a table and naively expected walk-ins would be welcomed. More often than not we were rudely turned away from outlets, however we landed here and were made to feel very welcome. Food, wine and service were all very good. We felt we got good value. After dinner we headed up stairs to the sky bar which was chilled and gave great views of the town.

From the moment we walked in, this restaurant impressed us with its warm atmosphere and outstanding service. The staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Each dish was a masterclass in flavor and presentation. The tuna was exquisitely fresh and expertly prepared. The shrimp was perfectl. The Turbot on special was amazing. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, they surprised us with dessert wines! Delicioso! This wasn’t just dinner—it was an experience. I was lured in by a pretty aqua colour cushion advertising Malfy gin outside in the bright sunshine on the steps. Upon entering you are hit with a really cool vibe and zen place. I was ushered into the lift to go to level 2 and the vistas of the sea, yachts, boats and later the sunset were just awesome! Then when you really look around the attention to detail is everywhere. The fabulous art pieces adorning the walls. One the “blue fish” actually seem to be swimming if you look closely. There are hidden treasures everywhere from the cushions, gin glasses, water glasses (most unique I’ve ever seen). Corks in an ornate shell bowl to the wooden sea horse. I’ve been 3 times and know there is more to see on the walls. Then let’s get to the food! It was just delectable! I chose tuna with caramelised onions plus vegetables egg plant, peppers and zucchini. It was absolutely amazing and my firm favourite. Plus of course Malfy gin for my tipple. I am going again tonight and must try to leave room for the tiramisu as just know it will be bellisimo! All the staff are so friendly, attentive and helpful. This restaurant is a MUST do. Book now.

We came to L’Ostrica Ubriaca hoping for a taste of real Italian pasta, but what we got was undercooked pasta and cold, tasteless shrimp. When we brought it up, the manager did apologize — but then told us we should have specified we wanted the pasta cooked more. It got worse when we agreed to wait for a new dish. The manager took over 20 minutes to bring it out, by which time the rest of the table was done eating. When I said we’d been waiting a long time, the manager casually brushed it off, saying they were “serving other people” — as if that makes my ruined experience acceptable? For €150, we expected quality and service. We got neither. The manager made no real effort to make things right. It felt like they just didn’t care. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Nestled in the heart of Olbia, Ristorante La Lanterna has been a beloved culinary destination since 1980. This charming establishment may not catch your eye at first glance, but it offers an authentic taste of Sardinian tradition with its delightful seafood dishes, grilled meats, and homemade pasta.
Looking for a place to eat we came across this nice and cozy restaurant. They had some great local dishes, the waiters were really nice and helpful and the food was just spectacular!!! You definitely have to come and try this place! ❤️

Food was quite good, but service was not. In an established restaurant like this one we expected waiters who could speak or understand English even a little bit, who bring food evenly on time to everyone sitting, and who bring sauces to a salad without being asked twice. The place was quite chaotic and we couldn’t enjoy our dinner due to the messy and inadequate service. Maybe it’s better if you come at an earlier or calmer time.

We had a great dinner at La Lanterna in Olbia! The beef was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The tiramisu was also really good. Very fresh and creamy 🥰 The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re in town!

I stumbled upon this place as it was one of the few that opened around 3 PM. They have both indoor seating with air conditioning and outdoor seating, which is great for summer. The waitress was very nice and friendly, and the service was fast. However, the food was fairly average—nothing particularly special for me. I had the seafood spaghetti and the carbonara. The tiramisu was just okay.

My friends and I visited this restaurant a few months after it came under new ownership, and unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. The overall experience was underwhelming, starting with the food presentation, which was uninspired. The dishes were mediocre at best and served somewhat cold. Even a simple classic like the pasta carbonara was terrible; the pork was burnt and the wrong cut, and the dish was overly salty with no other spice or flavor. The seafood pasta was also a letdown, with an unpleasantly fishy taste. Most of the pasta dishes were below par, and we left with half of our plates still on the table. The drinks were just as disappointing. The Aperol spritzes tasted watered down and lacked the proper amount of prosecco. We ended up buying a separate bottle of prosecco just to mix the drinks ourselves. We had high hopes for the new management, but our experience fell far short of our expectations.

We went to this place after reading some good reviews though there was one review which mentioned being rushed out of the place and I can confirm, this was correct. We were in and out of there in 20 minutes, it felt as though we were being rushed to leave so they could give our table to the next person. The food was ok but forgettable and ended being one of the most expensive ones we had. I would avoid and look elsewhere where you can relax and eat at your own pace and for less than what you would pay here. Would not recommend.

Raffaele è stato veramente un ospite eccezionale. We didn’t just eat here once, but after lunch, we immediately made reservations for the night for dinner. Our last night in Olbia before leaving for Cagliari, and there is no where else we would have chosen tonight. Out of the way off the beaten tourist walk & food that was exceptionally delicious and true to La Sardegna.

We came and had mussels which was the biggest serve I’ve had in a long time and were very nice. For mains we had carbonara and steak. The carbonara wasn’t the best I’ve had in Italy but it was tasty enough, the steak was nice though. House red and white were great and the atmosphere sitting outside in the side street with sun and warmth was great

Let's start with the good and end with the bad. The service is some of the best I've experienced here in Sardinia. The waitress we had was very pleasant, very accommodating and very kind. The manager seemed very friendly and the wait staff in general was nice. The food was delicious. But I think they left the rest of it in the kitchen, because it wasn't on our plates... Which leads me to the bad. Unaware of the fact that this restaurant has a pretentious chef who apparently only wants his customers to admire his creations visually, instead of enjoying the meal the way God intended you to (i.e. eating the food), we were cornered into spending more money than is conceviably imaginable. My boyfriend and our friends each ordered an appetizer. I was glad that I had not ordered one, when theirs came out - I would have spent between 11 and 15 Euro on nothing more than some air. The appetizer that my boyfriend ordered was mixed cheeses. I'm sure it was. And they did a fine and dandy job of only giving him one small piece of cheese for each different one. If you look at the photos I am attaching to this review you will understand what I am talking about. Now. If this antipasto had been in a more reasonable neighborhood of 4 MAYBE 5 Euro, it wouldn't have been such a big deal. Instead, this dish was 11 Euro. Outrageous! For what? Next, his main dish, was culugiones in a special sauce. While it tasted good to me, I'm not a professional when it comes to this dish, as I've never actually had it; he said that the pasta was too firm, and undercooked. He is Sardinian, so I will take his word for it. This dish, was also painfully small, and cost 15 Euro. My friends' dishes looked more reasonable in porportion and they had no complaints as far as taste. My dish however, was the most insulting of them all. I had ordered seabass with shrimp. In my mind, I had imagined a large portion of fish, not just considering it was 18 Euro but also because it was under "second courses". What was brought before me was a small plate, with a sliver of fish wrapped around one single piece of shrimp. A morsel of cold cooked potato, carrot and zucchini lay next to this sorry excuse for a meal on the tiny plate. I screamed inside. I literally managed to get two bites worth of shrimp, and about four bites of the seabass. That is not a meal. That is a scam. My friends ordered a small bottle of white wine (not even a full size bottle), and between the four of us we probably had 4-5 bottles of water. To add to the cost of everything, we ordered our lunch at 2 pm, and were not served the meals until a quarter to 4. At the end of the meal, the manager came out and offered us some liqeur on the house, since we had to wait so long for our meal. Yeah - how about instead of doing what every other restaurant in Italy does anyway, which is offer a free liqeur at the end of the meal (he makes it seem like this is so above and beyond what any other place in the country would do), why don't you knock off about 50% of our bill, since it was a whopping 133 Euro for everything. FOR WHAT?? For a taste of something? I can't say 'outrageous' enough. I thought long and hard about calling this place today and complaining over the phone, but the truth is, there's nothing they can do now since we already paid the bill. I have no intention of ever going back to eat there again, and would advise everyone to stay away. They are thieves, and lest the management think I'm just another "hungry American", my boyfriend was even more furious with the bill than I was - and he's Italian. On top of everything else, the restaurant is misleading in that it looks like an average, down-to-earth kind of a place. Plastic chairs and tables (of which was on rocky ground while we were sitting outside, and we all tipped over a couple of times while sitting there). But they are not at all a down-to-earth restaurant as far as cuisine and price ratio. In short, if you are looking for typical Sardinian food that won't cost you an arm and a leg, I don't recommend this place.

Worst service ever. - We booked in advance, but once arrived there they told us that "we" got confused and the reservation was for an hour later. - Once finally seated, the food arrived after half 40 minutes, except for the gluten free one. - In fact, we advised for a gluten-free meal, but it arrived only after repeated requests and when everyone else had already finished his meal. Since it is not so nice to eat alone when you go out with a group of people, I cannot say if the food was good or bad, because I never had the chance to taste it. Absolutely not recommended!

Ristorante Pizzeria Giampippo in Golfo Aranci offers a delightful dining experience with its excellent food and warm, family-friendly atmosphere. The owner entertains guests by singing karaoke without being intrusive, creating a fun and peaceful environment. The service is attentive and heartfelt, making visitors feel welcomed and appreciated. The menu features top-quality ingredients, from traditional suckling pig to fresh grilled fish, ensuring a delightful culinary experience.
We dined at this restaurant three evenings in a row, and it was absolutely wonderful every time. The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked, the Bolognese sauce was rich and flavorful, and the wine selection complemented everything beautifully. To top it all off, the tiramisu (for kids) was simply delicious—light, creamy, and full of flavor, for parents (limoncello and motto). A cozy spot with great food and warm atmosphere. Highly recommended!

This restaurant has a very local feel to it, with a mix of a relaxed terrace and a simple but cozy indoor space that fits right into the neighborhood. It doesn’t try too hard — and that’s exactly what makes it charming. You get the sense that this is a place people from the area actually go to, and that gives it a really nice, laid-back vibe. The food is truly delicious. Every dish we had was full of flavor and clearly made with care. It’s not overcomplicated — just really tasty, well-seasoned food that hits the spot. The wine was also excellent and paired perfectly with the meal. Portions are on the smaller side, but that’s quite typical for the region, and the quality makes up for it. One thing that really stood out was the staff. They were working full speed all night — you could tell it was a busy evening — but they never missed a beat. Friendly, fast, and genuinely attentive, even under pressure. That level of service really adds to the experience. On top of that, all of the staff spoke English, something you don’t always find in this area. It made communication super easy A fun little touch was the occasional song played through an old-fashioned hand-cranked speaker — a quirky detail that brought a smile to everyone’s face and gave the evening a playful, light-hearted twist. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but considering the quality of the food and service, it’s definitely worth it. It’s the kind of place you leave feeling satisfied and well taken care of.

We had a fantastic meal at Giampippo during our visit to Sardinia and can't recommend it highly enough. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The pasta dishes were incredible – clearly made with care and expertise. The pizzas, cooked in a traditional wood-fired oven, were simply amazing with that perfect crispy crust and authentic flavor you can only get from a proper horno a leña. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the quality of the ingredients really shone through. The desserts were equally impressive and provided the perfect ending to our meal. Beyond the outstanding food, the atmosphere was wonderful. They played beautiful Italian music throughout our dinner, which added to the authentic and enjoyable dining experience. The service was excellent – attentive, friendly, and professional. If you're looking for genuine Italian cuisine in Sardinia with great ambiance and top-notch service, Giampippo is a must-visit. We left completely satisfied and would happily return!

Wonderful little spot in Golfo Aranci! The staff is very friendly, the food is excellent and it’s priced extremely reasonably. My son and I spent 4 nights in Golfo Aranci and ate here for 3 of them. The pizza is the best he’s had (he’s 14 and on a mission to rate all of his Italian pizzas. This one is his favorite!) In addition to the food and staff, the atmosphere is wonderful. It’s casual, the locals frequent and you can get a real feel for the community. Highly recommend!

Best restaurant we went to on our recent holiday to Porto Aranci. In fact it was so good we went there 3 times. Good menu choice with excellent food. The mussels starter was fantastic as was the prawn cocktail. Also recommend the lobster spaghetti and ravioli dishes which were great. Good service, reasonably priced and a litre of nice house wine for only €14s. Giampippo livens the place with his music and his son Romeo and waitresses treated as so well and made us feel so welcome. This is the place to go. Many Thanks Matt and Julie

A Heartwarming Gem in Sardinia: An Unforgettable Italian Experience During our recent trip to Sardinia, we discovered an authentic Italian restaurant that left an indelible mark on our hearts and palates. This family-run gem, tucked away in the heart of the island, was a perfect blend of warm hospitality, soulful atmosphere, and culinary excellence that surpassed any dining experience we’d had before. From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in an atmosphere that felt like home. The restaurant, with its rustic wooden beams, soft candlelight, and exuded a cozy, lived-in charm that instantly put us at ease. The aroma of fresh basil and simmering tomato sauce filled the air, promising a meal to remember. What truly set the ambiance apart was the genuine warmth of the family running the place. They greeted us like long-lost relatives, their smiles infectious and their passion for sharing their culinary heritage palpable. The family’s welcomeness was extraordinary. The owners, a multi-generational team, made a point to connect with every guest. The patriarch, a jovial figure with a twinkle in his eye, welcomed us warmly. The service was impeccable, striking a balance between attentive and unobtrusive. Our waiter, anticipated our needs with ease, recommending dishes and wine pairings with a knowledge that spoke to years of pride in their craft. He took the time to explain the origins of each dish, from the locally sourced pecorino cheese to the handmade pasta crafted that morning. Every question was met with enthusiasm, and every request—whether a special dietary accommodation or an extra helping of their divine tiramisu—was handled with grace and a smile. The food was nothing short of extraordinary, elevating our expectations of Italian cuisine to new heights. The menu was a love letter to Sardinian tradition, with every dish showcasing the freshest local ingredients. Each bite was a testament to the care and skill poured into the preparation. Even the simple side of roasted vegetables was elevated to something divine, with flavors so vibrant they could only come from produce picked that day. Dessert, a seadas drizzled with local honey, was the perfect sweet finish, leaving us in awe of the kitchen’s mastery. What made this experience truly exceptional was how it surpassed every dining experience we’d had before. The authenticity of the dishes, rooted in Sardinian tradition, combined with the family’s dedication to making every guest feel cherished, created a meal that was as emotionally fulfilling as it was delicious. It wasn’t just about the food—it was about the love and pride woven into every aspect of the experience, from the warm welcome to the final farewell wave from the patriarch. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking the soul of Sardinia. It’s a place where you’re not just a customer but a guest in a family’s home, where the food is a celebration of heritage, and where the atmosphere wraps you in warmth. We left with full bellies, fuller hearts, and a longing to return. It’s not just a meal—it’s a memory we’ll treasure forever.

On the whole I would describe this place as shambolic. We had issues over a payment having used Fork.IT. We were prevented from leaving for nearly 30 minutes. At the time, one of the staff told us it was the craziest place they had ever worked. I could understand that. This could be a gem but turns out it is anything but. My recommendation would be to take your photos of the view, then head back towards civilization. The service here is a zero.

The pizza impressed with its authentic Neapolitan dough, airy crust, and well-balanced flavors. The topping – a harmonious combination of spicy sausage, melted cheese, and fresh ingredients – was expertly composed. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere clean and pleasant. A quick stop near the kitchen confirmed what the taste had already suggested: the pizzaiolo is truly Neapolitan – unmistakably so, judging by his accent. Overall, a very satisfying experience – I would gladly return. Greetings from switzerland

On 15 of August for the national holiday, we ordered two dishes of "paccheri allo scoglio" which is a Pasta with seafood. But one of the dishes had the bad smell and it was uncooked, another point was that we asked for potatoes to have it before the main dish but they arrived after a long time all together even if we asked again for having the potatoes first (it's worth to mention that potatoes were not salty)!! It is true that it was holiday but it can't be an excuse for bad quality.

Well? To keep things on the positive side ...the pizzas were actually quite tasty. definitely not the standard sardinian style of super thin and crispy....but... Good flavor. Unfortunately for us on Monday this was the only place in town that I could find open for lunch. Waiter (I'm guessing also the owner).... "Surly" will it be a great word to describe him. He was definitely doing US a favour wow waiting on us. My advice... Try something else in town.

Chiaro di Luna… what a name. A place that promises moonlight romance but delivers the dining experience of a gas station microwave. Service??? What service. I’ve had more attentive waiters at IKEA. Drink menu??? Never heard of her. Mineral water? Oh, you mean the tepid tap doo-doo water poured with the pride of a village well. The Ricotta Ravioli was less a dish and more a dusty museum artifact wrapped in gluey pasta sheets. The “sage butter”? Please. It tasted exactly like Orville Redenbacher popcorn seasoning—minus the joy of actual popcorn. And the pièce de résistance: we had to get up and fetch our own salt and pepper like peasants at a medieval banquet. Atrocious doesn’t even cover it. Honestly, I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here, unless I wanted to make sure they stayed my worst enemy. The worst food in Italy? Probably. The worst food in Europe? Quite possibly. A culinary crime scene? Oh and the icing on the cake would be the man eating in his underpants at the table next to us.

We kept casing the servers and we were just getting told different times for our food to come. In the end other 3 tables had came in ate and paid and left before our pizzas came. So we just left without having any dinner. If your reading this we were the english couple and we hate your restaurant/ service.

AVOID!!! Not even worth 1 Star! - Food was horrendous- ricotta ravioli was dry and grainy and the chips tasted like they had been fried in ‘old chip fat’. Upon complaining to the owner she became extremely abusive and told me that I was her guest so to ‘shut my mouth’ and ‘go back to where I can from’! I have never been spoken to in such a manner and was just trying to initially address the food quality. She told us we should have told them we were not happy however we were never asked how our meal was and we’re not even acknowledged by the staff who were nowhere to be seen right from the time our food was served. Food and sides were not served together and they had obviously forgotten our sides so by the time they arrived our pasta was nearly cold! 5 pieces of dry grainy ricotta ravioli for €16 and abuse from the manager who obviously is unable to deal with a complaint? I would suggest saving your money, going elsewhere and avoiding like the plague.

We ordered seabass and it was raw. How can a chef not know how to cook fish! We sent it back and said we didn't want it replaced. It was still on the bill. Our kids loved the Pizza, so there are some positives! Tourists don't seem to be welcome. They reluctantly took the seabass dish off the bill in the end. Go if you like pizza

La Taverna del Lupo di Mare - Ristorante Pizzeria is a hidden gem that you might stumble upon, just like many visitors have. Nestled in Golfo Aranci, this charming eatery offers an authentic taste of Sardinia with its standout dish: porceddu, or suckling pig. Diners rave about the perfectly cooked pork served alongside delicious baked potatoes and fresh vegetable dips.
Always fresh and delicious fish and dishes, staff is super friendly, caring and personal. Outside sitting is superb and the best spot for the sunset with a beautiful scenery. Been here many times and never disappointed. 100% recommended!

we came here for dinner, not expecting too much, but yet, something appropriate. Service was ok, but i had to wait for about an hour to get water, although i asked for it 3 times. I ordered a tuna tartare with avocado, got a oversalted tuna tartare, and like a red stew, with nothing that looks like avocado in it. Then, me and my friends ordered a degustazione mare (assorted fish) and got 8 different variations of marinated herring, whitch tasted so badly, i almost threw up on the table (sorry) Wine was not too bad. It was really loud. I feel like this is a good place for drinking beer, definitely not for dining. You can see the pic of tuna tartare with “avocado” below

(Translated by Google) We happened upon this place by chance on the first Sunday of October for lunch. Excellent experience that I highly recommend. We ate porceddu, truly inexplicable in words, accompanied by baked potatoes and vegetable dip. Owner honest in recommending dishes and portions. Really good and typical lunch, average prices. I recommend it if you want to eat something typical Sardinian.

(Translated by Google) I can't share anything about the negative reviews. I don't understand them even a little. There were 3 of us for dinner, we took pork for 2 (previously requested) and it was, to say the least, delicious. Served in the traditional way, it was cooked to perfection and with side dishes of baked potatoes (not at all greasy) and vegetables with dip. We also took a cheese pizza which was light (a sign of adequate leavening for the time required) not burnt and tasty at the right point (the cheeses were well dosed). As for the service, it was impeccable: the staff were very attentive, very polite and not at all intrusive. Together with the owner, who is a person up to his role and jovial, they often took an interest in making sure everything was going well and proved attentive to our needs. The quality/price ratio, considering the quality, the abundance of the suckling pig (we had a doggy bag left) and the preparation it requires, I find it more than adequate. Even the myrtle made by them was really excellent. The environment appears tidy, comfortable and clean. L’ambiente appare ordinato, confortevole e pulito. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

(Translated by Google) Terrible restaurant/pizzeria. Pizza arrived soggy and watery from the first bite. Mozzarella and the ingredients on top had a strange taste (nothing fresh, I hope not spoiled). Obviously left on the plate, but I paid the bill of 22 euros anyway. I'm only sorry for the waitress who was sorry even when she collected the dish. Avoid this place, even if you are hungry. The worst fast food you find will definitely be better. Left only 1 star because you can't do less....AVOID IT (Original) Ristorante/pizzeria pessimo. While the food is commendable, some staff members may appear disinterested in providing top-notch service to tourists. However, it is still worth visiting if one can reciprocate the level of engagement they receive.

We went there with some friends. We got some grilled Pecorino, octopus with potatoes, pecorino cheese cream as appetizers, then we had some Zuppa Gallurese, guilt-head bream, a hole squid and 3 Deserts. We would definitely recommend to try the Dolce Della Casa, a cone made out of carasau bread filled with pistachio ice cream, ricotta cheese, fresh peaches and sauce. The Zuppa Gallurese was also very very tasty. We also had 2 bottles of Vermentino wine. Very good food, very honest prices and an attentive service. The location is not wonderful but not bad either.

First class service unlike some more expensive places, we went for pasta and it was fabulous, also we have been struggling to find a really good salad that wasn't a bit dry and have to say this was the best . The price was very good for the food plus including drink it was under half we paid anywhere else . It would have been 5 star but it was one street back from the sea ( 50 metres) it's a no brainer. 🤓 Sam brookes

Honestly one of the best spots on the island! At first you think it’s a little pricey but for what you get it’s a bargain! Snacks constantly brought to the table, best cocktails we’ve had on the island and super friendly staff despite our terrible Italian! We even asked for the bill but there was a breakdown in communication where they thought we ordered more drinks- they gave us the drinks for free to say sorry! Obvs leaving a tip for that kind of service!

Cannot agree with the negative reviews. One of the best spaghetti vongole, never tasted them with botarga (fish eggs), a lot of vongole and proper size… yes you pay 30€ for this dish but it totally deserves it. I was served very well but I was almost alone at 15:30, in any case the chef did not close the kitchen just to set up my lunch ready… amazing. Las surprise came with a recommendation for a local liquor, and the coffee, first time they serve it right in 3 days in Sardigna. All in all, highly recommended.

A scam & catastrophy It didn’t start good. We where ignored at the table for the first half an hour, though we asked if we could atleast order the drinks. With that as an input we should have left. Finally the waitress arrived and explained the menu verbally. No printed menus where available. No prices, no english. With that as an input we should have left. Though, we where starving so we ordered Vongole. When the meals finally arrived they were extremely small, only 3 clams opened - the rest without clams or unopened- and with tracks of sand that crushed in our mouths. An insult to the Italian cousine. We should have left. So we asked for the bill. They wanted to charge us 10 euro/person for services. Anyone who has been in the area knows that they normaly charge 2-4 euro/person. A scam! When we pointed this out they became aggressive. We finally left! Big warning - don’t go here!

The food was amazing and one of the most gourmet food I've ever had in my life. I was really surprised, because I didn't expect the food to be that good. The personal was nice and also there was a DJ, but the music was in my opinion a little too loud. I recommend the food 10/10, also the nice location right next to the beach. The only thing you must be aware of is that the price is really high and also the "coperto" costs a lot (+15 €).

The restaurant boasts a charming outdoor square that enhances its inviting atmosphere. The service was both professional and warm, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
Extremely beautiful place. Staff is very friendly. It's family friendly. Pizzas are really good there. The seafood platter was not the hit, but whole fish grilled is worth it. Their pasta is really an experience, that will make you realize how pasta can be different.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to the beach hoping to grab a pizza for lunch. While at first we were disappointed to find that pizza is only served in the evenings, we were blown away by the quality of the pasta dishes that we ordered instead. I ordered the spaghetti alle vongole and it was one of my favorite dishes that I had my entire trip to Sardegna! The mussel antipasto was also delicious and the quantity was amazing. The service was also extremely friendly (some of the nicest on our trip to Italy) and I really enjoyed speaking in my very basic Italian with our waitress. Another worker also was very kind in helping us choose a dessert. The semifreddo di mirto cannot be missed! Overall, I am so glad we stumbled upon Ristorante Pizzeria da Andrea. What was meant to be a quick lunch before the beach turned out to be one of our more memorable meals on the island!

Good pizzeria/restaurant. Perfect for families with children of all ages. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We've had a starter, a typical Sardegna"gnocchi" for the kids and second dish of fish. Everything very tasty and good. To complete the meal we've had the home made "Dolci": Saedas, semifreddo al mirtillo and panna cotta with caramello. Those were delicious! The price was reasonable, considering that we were in four and we had a fish dinner. I'm missing the fifth star only because it a windy evening and while eating a paper napkin flew away from a table and ran into my feet. Nothing to be worried about, but a little of more attention is worth it.

I’d consider to go elsewhere for a dinner. Service mixed our order, it can happen, however the food doesn’t give a credit to Italy. Salad was plain. We were expecting vegetarian got a canned tuna in the middle, a few leaves of basic letuce carrot and rucola. Gnocchetti ragu was terrible. Tasted like it was made out of ready to cook meal from your grocery shop. The cheap versions of a ready to cook food. Slow service, waited for a second meal around 10 minutes. Waiters were confused. Did not expect to get a food and service like this in this area. One good thing, the singer and musicians were great!

Beautiful place, the water is crystal clear and warm, makes for a perfect day of swimming. Service is ok, food is average... what is very unpleasant is the vendors approaching people to sell all sorts of things. They set up right in front of the beds and basically block the ocean view. I know this has nothing to do with the venue itself but it cheapens the experience, it gives Thailand vibes in Sardinia. Not a fan.

The food was under seasoned and plain, the bottarga eggs were nowhere to be found. What we did find was a lot of wasps and smoking basins to repel them. Now I smell like a bbq I didn’t ask for.

The most disappointing restaurant experience in our 2 weeks in Sardinia. The seafood risotto consisted of a dry risotto with 1 prawn and a scrawny scrap of crab. No ice bucket for the wine. Try elsewhere

Ristorante Don Pedro is a beachside establishment in Sardinia with an attractive terrace offering reasonable prices and a welcoming atmosphere. The service provided by the friendly staff is excellent, and there is also the option to rent sunbeds and umbrellas. A large parking area is conveniently located behind the bar, free of charge. The restaurant offers moderately priced dishes ranging from 6 to 18 EUR, although portions are relatively small. Nevertheless, the quality of the food is good.
We had great experience today afternoon in pedro bar, perfect food, beautiful beach ideal for chill evening with friends or familly
Marcel G — Google review
Don Pedro is the worst establishment out of the three in Cala Sassari, which is a very beautiful beach, and should be avoided at all costs. If it were possible to give zero stars, I would definitely rate it a zero. We have visited Cala Sassari many times over the last two years and have tried all the establishments here multiple times. We have concluded that Don Pedro is a place that should never be visited. I’ll start explaining our experience from the point of renting a sunbed. Around 4 PM, we lay on a vacant sunbed in an area that wasn’t very crowded. An attendant saw us, and we made eye contact, but he didn’t come over immediately to charge us. So, we went for a swim. Half an hour later, while we were still in the sea, another employee came, touched our belongings, put them on the sand, and emptied the sunbed. We got out of the water immediately and asked what was going on. The answer we received was that the sunbed we were using had been reserved by someone else for the entire season and that it could not be rented. We questioned why the attendant who saw us when we arrived didn’t warn us from the start and why they didn’t put a “reserved” sign on the sunbed. There was no answer and no apology. This place is run by rude, disrespectful people with no sense of customer service. The day before, we had visited their restaurant. The portions were large enough, but the pricing was excessively high for the taste. If you’re going to eat at Cala Sassari, you have better options just nearby. Another point is that they charge 50 euros for two sunbeds and an umbrella, even if you rent them at 4 PM. I have visited countless beaches in Sardinia, especially around this area. Generally, if you arrive at a beach in the afternoon, they charge you a “half-day” rate. However, Don Pedro will do anything to rip you off. Additionally, they have another scam concerning parking, which I provide as extra information. If you want to park on the road right in front of the entrance, they take money from you and give you a “disabled card.” This way, you won’t be fined during the daily police inspections. In fact, parking on that road is illegal. The best option is to park in the parking lot, which is already large enough, at a rate of 1.5 euros per hour during the season.

Great beach restaurant with a relaxed vibe. Prices are reasonable given the location right by the sea. We paid €47 for 2 mains, 2 beers and 2 coffees (umbrellas and chairs are on top of this) Portions were big and filling, food was ok overall, nothing fancy but a solid choice if you want a casual meal by the beach.

Oasi Beach Marana, an Italian restaurant known for its beautiful setting, offers a delightful dining experience for both lunch and dinner. The service is commendable, and the dishes served are flavorful and appetizing. It's the perfect spot to unwind with a mesmerizing view while enjoying your meal. Moreover, this charming establishment also boasts a small exclusive beach area that allows non-residents to find a place to relax even if they're not staying at the resort.

Location is great but the service is not what I expected from a day beach. It costs 45€ in July for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. There is no service directly at the sunbed. You have to go to the restaurant / bar to get something. During the whole day noboday checked if we needed something. When we decided to have lunch, around 2:30PM, we were told that the kitchen was closed and we could only get a small sandwich. If would have been great to know in advance and I was expecting to have a least small snacks available during the afternoon such as French fries, ...

Very good kitchen 👍👍👍 meat is super tender, pasta is very tasty, salad is big and fresh 👏I would recommend this restaurant. One of best restaurants we visited in Sardinia
Yuliya — Google review
Disappointing evening, all I will say is the owner priorities italian speaking customers and has no consideration for tourist. I speak fluent italian and I watched how the owner and the waitress took advantage of the food order and the service within my group of friends. The lady owner that presented the over 200 euros bill and took our money, was polite enough to inform us that in Sardegna meat is serve almost raw and we didn't understand the culture or cuisine. We just couldn't wait to leave the restaurant and the owner to get rid of us, it was a mutual feeling. I have also noticed how the replies to reviews regarding unsatisfied customers are slightly defensive and lack in any form of customer service which is essential in hospitality. I will not return.
Maria S — Google review
The one star is for the nice ambience and welcoming staff. That’s all there is. We ordered the Zuppa Gallurese to share as a starter. It tasted like it had been microwaved and the portion was tiny. I ordered the stewed lamb which tasted more like Hoggart and had very little meat. My partner ordered a hamburger which came without a bun or lettuce and tomato (just the patty on a plate). It came with some dried up roast small potatoes that weren’t that hot and looked like they were made earlier in the day. The hamburger itself was raw in the middle and cold. They took it back and recooked it but it was barely seasoned. Both dishes were €18 each and we ordered a side of grilled veg which was cold and not fresh. A shame as we thought this place had more soul than the rest of the street.
James T — Google review
An absolute disappointment! We went here to taste the local cuisine but only got what appeared to be microwaved and canned food. No effort was made to actually prepare a proper dish. Our impression is that they like to serve Italian speaking customers and ignore other customers.

Do not visit this place. Never ever! Friday night. Town full of people. We came, after while waitress came with notebooks only and asking our order in italian what we would like to have…when we requested to bring menu to see what they offer so we can choose, she came in 2minutes with mobile in hand and showed us in translator app “we are full”. LMAO such a hospitality of staff, few tables where people already ate their dishes. Strange that boss doesnt want customers to come and spend money :))). I highly do not recommend this place! Ciao bella If your are lucky, next to this is superb place and food Ristorante Pizzeria Giampippo :) they know how to treat guests even full house. This has to be the worst food we have ever eaten in Sardinia and Italy. Food is not fresh and bland. Potatoes looked like they were cooked a few days before I would be embarrassed to send that out. Prawns looked like they had nearly gone off Food is also expensive and service was very slow considering we were the only ones in there. Not friendly staff Some of the pictures on here are not accurate. It looks like it's on the beach but it's in fact a 5 minute walk away and the fish did not look like that. Don't waste your money and service charge. Go to Giampipo a couple of doors down where the quality of food and service is a lot better.

Can only repeat what the customers before me said: Not very fresh, not friendly staff to tourists and the grilled vegetables were very awful. Even the french fries were horrible and not enjoyful at all. The only thing that was okayish was the seafood pasta. Anyways, would noone recommend to come here. Unbelievable, but even the toilets were not real toilets (missing toilet seat). Go to Mama Beach, its definitely worth the money, at the beach and costs less or even the same (close to that restaurant).

Attended with group of 8 for dinner. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Beautiful food. Idyllic views. Ate out on beach. Was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend!
Sarah E — Google review
Great pasta and shrimps. I think it was spaghetti but it resembled Japanese Soba noodles. Being Japanese I enjoyed its texture a lot. It was playing in a different league compared to pasta from other places. Surprising! Shrimps looked nothing special but they tasted amazing. I suspected it was processed in some way to bring up the taste of shrimps to a next level. More condensed and distinct shrimp taste and flavor. It was not only shrimp meat. In Japanese, it is called Miso, what’s there inside the head of a shrimp, tasted like processed black ink from a squid. Powerful! In addition, I forgot what exactly I ordered but I remember it was sea food calamarata that went excellent with my Japanese taste too. There was a hint of Japanese Ramen soup to me. I never thought I would taste something like this in Sardinia. For some people, it may be challenging but for myself, it was a fusion of Italian and Japanese, which knocked me down. I have to note that service was good, the guy took our orders in particular. Sorry, I did not ask for your name. The biggest and only problem was sea weed on the shore line. It was visually noticeable and we had to consciously ignore it. No smell or any sort so it was ok but it could have been the best beach to go among 4 other beaches we went during our stay.

I don't recommend it. A menu where almost half of it is not available, and they spontaneously change your order with something available without your consent. You have to negotiate to NOT pay what you didn't order. The boss sounds hard on his waiters. Plus the waiting time if quite long. Elsewhere the breakfast seems far better ! Reaction to their answer: it is also the first time ever that the establishment is right instead of the client. I don't like to claim that the client is always right, but here it was completely the opposite. And as everybody can see, I have visited a lot of cafe's around the world. Avoid that establishment at all cost, the worst ever !

Formerly known as Poseidone, the restaurant has been rebranded as Pintadera. Visitors have praised the warm and friendly staff who provide excellent recommendations for fresh and authentic Italian dishes at affordable prices. The owner, Salvatore, is known for his genuine passion in selecting and preparing beautiful meals. While some guests found the food to be average, many appreciated the stunning view over "porto marana.
Name has changed to Pintadera. Review: first, the owners and team are some of the most gracious, kind and friendly people you will ever meet. They greeted us with joy and you can tell they do everything with love. They made recommendations about what was super fresh that day and brought out some of the most authentic and delicious Italian dishes. Simply superb. Enjoyed a wonderful dinner tonight hosted by Salvatore, owner of this fabulous establishment. If you appreciate genuine passion in the selection, preparation and serving of the most beautiful meals then you will appreciate the craftsmanship that is on display at Poseidone. The evening was a delight in that the meals served were some of the freshest, well conceived recipes I have ever experienced. The preparation and cooking techniques that are undertaken even in the most simple of dishes are extraordinary. I take great care on the selection of restaurants I choose to eat at and also enjoy understanding as much about what goes on behind the scenes leading to the meal on the table. I find the interaction with staff as important as the email itself - Salvatore was a gentleman, a professional who has some unique and special techniques that allow his meals to stand out in an exceptional fashion. We were fortunate that this evening was not too busy and we were afforded the time to discus the meals in detail - an absolutely memorable experience In all respects.

Overall we had very poor experience. It was a storm and the restaurant is very poorly protected from rain, even cooking area. Restaurant was flooded. We were given pizza menu, but they couldn’t serve pizza due to rain. I had fregola with shrimp tartar: it was the most okay dish. However they served it in the boiling oil: it has not only cooked my mouth, also the tartar. Still, it was tasty. My partner had extremely salty tuna tataki. As a side dish he ordered sautéed vegetables: it was a tiny portion of steamed leaves for 7€ that they forgot to bring together with the main course. In general stuff was not attentive. When we tried to share our experience, stuff couldn’t care much.

We discovered this superb restaurant on our second evening in Golfo Aranci and dined here all but 2 of our 11 nights in Sardinia. There is an outdoor terrace for dining alfresco and the glazed doors slide back providing a bright and airy ambience. There is something for everyone including homemade pasta and desserts by the shy yet talented chef. There is also a great choice of draught beer from both Italy and Belgium together with a good wine list. Great service was provided by Andrea and Nadia and we were looked after well by Marco the owner. The service team was exceptionally polite, and the restaurant was conveniently located within walking distance of our hotel. Food: Most importantly, the food was enjoyable. We ordered tagliolini with lamb ragu and the black (octopus ink) pasta with a plain pomodoro sauce. The pasta, which was homemade as our waiter informed us, was really good. It’s among the best we’ve had around Olbia region (including Golfo Aranci). Just be aware that the lamb ragu may contain some tougher pieces of meat and bits of fat, which is quite traditional, I suppose. After enjoying our pasta dishes, we indulged in three desserts: a homemade tiramisu (good but not extraordinary in my opinion), a delightful semi-frozen pistachio cream (though the portion size was relatively small, as is typical in mid-range and upscale restaurants. It's not on the menu, so you should ask for it), and a traditional dessert consisting of fried dough with honey (while it's a local specialty, I personally didn't find it particularly special, this one you probably won't miss not trying). Specials / Unexpected Services: After our meal, we were pleasantly surprised to be offered a complimentary local digestif, which was quite enjoyable. Since I had a cold, I mentioned that I should probably have another one. Marco, the restaurant owner, then generously offered me a selection of different grappas, and we sampled two of them together. Conclusion: This restaurant is an excellent choice for a delightful dinner with friends in a charming atmosphere, complemented by fine wine.

We were the first guests of the evening when we arrived at 18.30. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and even with just a little English, communication went well. The food was delicious, and the staff were thoughtful about helping us share dishes. The service felt personal and relaxed from start to finish. Highly recommended!

The service was amazing, tge decor was stunning and the food was very good. The staff was observant, positive and open. Every part of my food was done as good as it can be done and even tho we were right next to a road, it was actually a pretty quiet and relaxed experience. The bathroom lights were very dim, but otherwise an overall very good experience.

Ristorante Don Pedro is a delightful beachside eatery that perfectly captures the essence of Sardinia's coastal charm. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making every visit feel warm and welcoming. Diners can expect generous portions of freshly prepared dishes, with some favorites running out during the day—a testament to their popularity and freshness! While prices may be on the higher side, especially for drinks, they reflect the prime seaside location.
Staf very friendly and polite. Specially Simone! Awsome view and environment Food very tasty and in the right proportion Deserts are great as well! Price VS food VS landscape is fair

Coco Drink is a delightful spot that perfectly captures the essence of beachside relaxation. Nestled right by the shore, it offers stunning sea views from shaded tables, making it an ideal lunch destination. While the staff may not be fluent in English, ordering is still manageable with a little creativity—using translation apps or picking up some basic Italian phrases can enhance your experience. The wait time for food is impressively short, and while the cuisine might not be gourmet, it's certainly satisfying.
Great place for a drink or coffee, directly at the beach. The staff was very friendly and they also accept credit cards.

I dont understand bad reviews. Its called Coco Drink and not Coco Restaurant… to have feeling to be treated like in restaurant lol… We came at lunch time. Table in shadow with seaview! Perfect. Staff dont speak English but you can order. Of course you can use app translators when you dont understand dish in menu… or try to learn some easy language Italian … Time between order and food delivery was short. Food was good! No problem with anything… you can visit this place … If you are not picky like other customers with bad reviews… boss probably understand customers reviews and learnt from the past..
Michaela H — Google review
This café is all about the location, not the food. It’s right by the beach, so yes—the prices are a bit high, but that’s kind of expected. The vibe is super chill though. Tables are set under trees, which gives you some nice shade and makes the heat much more bearable. A pleasant place to spend the afternoon with a drink in hand. But I wouldn’t go for the food. It doesn’t feel like much care goes into what they serve—I ordered a panini and, honestly, it was just a cold sandwich thrown together without much care—definitely not what you’d expect. It doesn’t feel like much effort goes into what they serve. Come for the view and the laid-back atmosphere, not the menu.

We arrived and found a table, eventually we were told it was table service we waited another 10 minutes before anyone arrived, we went to order and was asked English? We said yes and he went away for another 10 mins without any explanation. The order was then taken, drinks took another 15 mins, the 4 panini then arrived, all were wrong. Another 20mins later the correct ones arrived, the rolls were at best very stale, apart from a couple of bites the food was left uneaten. Terrible food, terrible unfriendly service.

Very poor service and expensive drinks, but nice view along the beach.

Very poor service. If and when your food is coming is a lottery. Quality of the food compared to prize is expensive. Location is the only thing this joint has to offer.

Don’t go for food! Waited 25 mins for our order to be taken, then a further 20 mins for our drinks to come, then an additional 20 mins for the wrong food to arrive. Finally got our food (paninis) absolutely awful, bread stale filling not great and we barely ate half of it! Staff miserable and felt like we were an inconvenience. I would not recommend.

Nestled by the sea, Yachting Club Vela Blu is a charming spot that perfectly blends the essence of a pizzeria with the ambiance of a delightful restaurant. Having visited multiple times during my boat trips in Sardinia, I can confidently say their pizza is exceptional—even for someone who isn't usually a fan! The octopus and mussels are standout dishes that truly showcase their culinary skills.
We had a fantastic experience here!! The service was great. The staff were good and the pizza was unbelievable!! Great to go for drinks or any of the main meals!! Well done. It may have been the people I was with that made it extra special, but the offering is good!!

Well located, this club is a pizzeria with a few tables close to the sea. I honestly though it was more a restaurant while their offer is 5 dishes and 20/30 pizzas. Anyways I appreciated the overall quality of what we have eaten (both pizza and dishes). Best dish I strongly recommend: impepata di cozze (mussels). Price ok. Service ok (they asked us to change table after we sat which wasn’t ideal)

The restaurant was completely empty when we arrived. We ordered (you have to go to the counter cause there was no customer service and the lady didnt speak english so we had a hard time ordering). After half an hour that we were waiting a family of italians sat down and ordered. After awhile they got nice metal cutlery and AFTER them we got cutlery which was PLASTIC… even though we were waiting longer. They got their food way before us and already finished eating by the time we got our food. We had lasagna and two pizzas and paid about 35€. The lasagna was tasteless but the pizza was good in their defence. The prices were fair but we ended up being sick after the pizzas.Recommend if you’re local or atleast can speak italian. Please keep in mind that high ratings like these anywhere in Italy are in reality very low… Don’t give up your hopes if you expect a 4 star service when you see 4 star reviews… not gonna happen most of the time.

Horrible service. Horrible Pizza. Avoid! The service: We asked for take out and waited outside. After waiting for 1h, I asked to pay for the beverages I had consumed and I’ve heard “calm down . Calm down. I am working and you are in the sea”. Never been so mistreated - their team never said sorry just gave excuses while all I wanted was to pay and leave. To their team, please do some consumer centric training on how to treat clients. Raising the voice, asking them to go to their kitchen , blaming the amount of clients you brave - is not an excuse for a bad service. The food: Pizzas are horrible. Our order came wrong also. You can find better places with much better quality. If you are expecting a more affordable, friendly/local place to have a pizza and enjoy your time - avoid this place ! You can find better.

Disrespectful service. You can find better pizza and better service ! No vale la pena ! Servicio horrible. Puedes conseguir mucho mejor. I was with a group of friends and we asked for 6 pizzas to take home. The waitress asked us to wait outside. After 30 minutes of waiting we decided to get some beverages. After 30 minutes more... the table next to us (which arrived later than us) received their food. We decided to pay for our drinks and leave. Instead of understanding that 1 hour wait was a lot for just regular pizzas and that we were respectfully asking to pay for what we had consumed ... the waitress became defensive and disrespectful.... condescendingly asking my friend to wait more... that he was just lounging while others worked... And all he was asking for was to pay the bill. The pizza is not that good. Just regular pizza ... you can find a lot better without risking to be treated poorly.

This restaurant boasts a fantastic location with nice night views of the port and an authentically elegant Italian atmosphere. The food was hit-or-miss. The pizza lived up to its reputation, being very good with fresh ingredients, as i understand. Unfortunately, my tempura shrimp were overly greasy and not enjoyable. On the bright side, the mussels and prosecco were good. However, the white wine I chose tasted cheap and was disappointing.

Firstly, I'd advise you to look at the TripAdvisor reviews for this restaurant (you'll find it under "Il Segreto", it's name pre-rebrand) and the unprofessional responses of the owner. This will give you a good sense of the customer service that you're in for! Now for my review - my partner and I visited Il Segreto for the last meal of our holiday, it was a disappointing end to the trip. From the outset things didn’t seem right, the restaurant was eerily empty, with only 5 tables occupied. Despite this, the head waiter seemed out of his depth. Following ordering a glass of red wine each, the waiter returned with one glass. After asking if the second glass was coming, he confrontationally responded with “I asked you twice, you said one”…. A good start. For mains we ordered a pizza and a pasta to share. The pizza came out after 15 minutes (perfectly timed and tasted great). After waiting 5 minutes to start we were told that the pasta was delayed as it was given to the wrong table (there were 7 occupied tables at the time). 25 minutes later and the pasta finally appeared. We had finished the pizza and were digesting the attitude with which the wine order was approached by the frazzled and confrontational waiter, only to realise that the pasta was cold (despite being made “as fast as possible” following the earlier mistake). Despite the fridge-like temperature of the pasta, the flavours were good. Overall, I’d recommend avoiding and visiting one of the well reviewed local spots. There’s no excuse for rude service, or putting up with the attitude of this owner who abuses critical reviews :)

Lovely food and friendly service. Sadly not a combination that can be guaranteed in all venues in Golfo Aranci if you have an English accent and can’t speak Italian. Unfortunately horrible food. The people were great, the atmosphere also and the restaurant looks amazing. Just the food was soooo so bad , its terrible. Awful, awful. I don’t plan on returning to this restaurant. When I asked a simple question about portion sizes, the waitress responded dismissively with, “Well, this is gourmet,” which set a condescending tone for the experience. The warm hospitality from the owner adds to the inviting atmosphere, making you feel like an old friend rather than just a customer.
(Translated by Google) Excellent pastry shop and fresh pasta laboratory where you can find typical Sardinian desserts, including seadas both freshly cooked and cooked at home. Very kind owner who explained all the various types of desserts to us and welcomed us as if we were friends. I recommend taking as many desserts as possible to best savor the delights that this land offers. Excellent value for money considering the area. We had tried a variety of Sardinian sweets throughout our travels, and this place was decidedly the worst. At the recommendation of the lady manning the store, we selected a few sweets. Unfortunately, the cookies tasted stale and we couldn't even finish the "freshly made" seada. It tasted like it was fried in very old oil and had old crystallized honey on top. Nothing like the delicious pastries we had elsewhere. Expensive and poor quality. Would not recommend.

(Translated by Google) We wanted to try a seadas and stumbled upon this pastry shop, which apparently had all the makings of a good, authentic artisanal product. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the quality (difficult to digest), the quantity (small), and the price, to say the least, outrageous (€10 for a small seadas). I actually wanted to give it three stars, but my partner insisted on two, because she pointed out that it would have been nice to receive two (plastic) forks instead of just one. I'm sorry, but I can't recommend this place.

(Translated by Google) AWFUL!!! Drawn by the homey and seemingly authentic atmosphere, we stopped at this place, drawn by a sign that read "Calde Seadas." We bought a Seadas, three biscuits, and a bottle of water for a total of €13.50. Let's start with the biscuits. As I said, they looked pleasant and authentic in the window, but unfortunately, the taste didn't match; they were probably old, rancid, and not very crumbly. The Seadas were even worse: small, fried in oil that was definitely bordering on stale, with an unpleasant filling. Perhaps a grape. The honey was a plus. The Seadas alone cost €8 (price not displayed), which I thought was a bit excessive considering that service charges in restaurants run around €6-7 (after reading the various reviews, we realized that prices are "variable"). (Original) PESSIMO!!!

I recently took part in a cooking class here, and it was an unforgettable experience. Everything I tasted was absolutely delicious and entirely homemade. The hosts patiently taught me how to prepare fresh pasta from scratch – including ravioli – and guided me through making seadas, a traditional Sardinian dessert. They are incredibly kind and welcoming, explaining each step with care while sharing stories about life in Sardinia. On top of that, they treated me to regional salamis, cheeses, and Sardinian wine, which made the experience even more special. The warm hospitality, the authentic homemade food, and the immersive atmosphere truly made me feel like I was in Sardinia. I highly recommend this course to anyone – it’s an experience I will treasure for a lifetime :)

Vida Beach Restaurant is a charming spot located on an enchanting beach in Sardinia. The restaurant boasts a beautiful decor that exudes a tropical vibe, reminiscent of Thailand or Hawaii. The friendly and attentive staff add to the overall pleasant dining experience. While the food is not described as outstanding, it is considered good and has potential for improvement. Guests recommend trying the octopus on a bed of potatoes and the Sardinian specialty seadas.
Great little find with nice service and good food. Open for a coffee & croissant in the morning and for lunch and dinner. Have the linguini with clams. Serviced beach with big umbrellas and nice sun beds on a family friendly clean beach. Parking is also free and available super close. Highly recommended.

We haven’t dined at the restaurant, and coffee was not great frankly, but the beach is absolutely stunning - very soft sand, calm and clean water, well maintained, and they even give you towels! We came back repeatedly.

Very clean beach bar and beach, with brand new sunbeds and paid shower. We visited this establishment 2 times, and it was great. The only objection I have is that during the 2nd visit, as we were trying to eat, I asked the waitress if the burger was tasty(was not in the mood for seafood). She said yes, it's worth it. Well, it was NOT! It was the worst dry sandwich I had ever had (including the ones I made myself while drunk at home back in the day). The bread was old and hard, the meat very dry and tasteless, 2 slices of tomatoes(no taste at all), and some salad leaves. No sauce, no taste, very dry. The fries were "home made" though, and tasted delicious. All other dishes were fantastic! Will definitely come back, and definitely recommend this place 😊

We decided to get a quick lunch at this place because of the view. It’s not worth the money. My partner doesn’t eat fish, so he got a ham sandwich. The sandwich was all dried out and smelled like fish. Dry bread, tomatoes and salad from the day before. He took one bite and put it aside. It wasn’t discounted from the bill though, because apparently “there is nothing wrong with it”. Editing the review to add that the reason for one star is POOR QUALITY. The restaurant staff quite rude.
Valentina G — Google review
Promised the Milan waitress to write a review and yes after a few days I am doing so. What a difference good personnel makes. In these days a huge one. Very friendly and open for a conversation. And then it does not matter that the kitchen forgets about your tiramisu. The place is decorated beautifully. It gives you the vibe of Thailand or Hawaii but you are in Sardinia. Food is good not outstanding but if they keep on going this way it will be excellent. The beach is clean and good. Music choice excellent. Reserve in advance but let them rephrase the time otherwise they keep the table open for two hours especially for you. Thanks and keep up the good work and keep hiring such good personnel.
Sander Z — Google review
We came here extra because of the high ratings…. We think it is not really worth, to be honest it is cause of lacking of dedicated service (we asked twice for bread, it never came). A bit snooty service (we asked for another table, which we reserved 3 days in advance: she said just NO!). The food was good but not more like that. Just average. Portion quite small for the price (pulpo). The knowledge of the wines is also limited. Cappuccino was a desaster, we never saw something bad like that. At the end: 110 Euros for a lunch for 2 persona speaks for its self… (it will not remain in our memory).

After we arranged our appointment via WhatsApp we were greeted by Laura at her place at 7. The Atmosphere is really at home-ish and comfortable Laura is a very caring and friendly host. While laura is cooking we sat outside on the porch and enjoyed the wine that was included in the dinner price. The food was great and anyone who says they are going home from this place still hungry is a liar. We had two fish menus and a special vegan one Laura created for me. This experience has a special place in my heart.

Giropizza Triku Beach is a delightful dining destination that offers an exceptional pizza experience along with a variety of other delicious dishes. Nestled near Golfo Aranci, it boasts stunning views of the picturesque Tavolara Island. The restaurant's location is convenient, situated close to ample parking and just outside the bustling pedestrian area, allowing for a peaceful atmosphere while still being easily accessible to the main square.
My husband and I just had lunch at Triku Beach, and although it was our first time here, we were already familiar with the amazing staff and pizzas from their sister restaurant, Giropizza, in Olbia, where we have eaten many times. Triku Beach is located in an incredible spot near Golfo Aranci, offering breathtaking views of the beautiful island of Tavolara. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Despite the restaurant being packed, they found us a table and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed perfectly cooked calamari and the most delicious homemade spaghetti with bottarga and mussels. It was easily the best seafood pasta we’ve had in years, and we highly recommend it. We were absolutely delighted with both the food and the overall experience, and we can't wait to return. Thank you! ❤️ ps: the Italian music from the 60s, 70s and 80s that was playing was very atmospheric. We loved it!!

Absolutely a very nice place to have pizza and more...the quality of the pizza is supreme, also you can choose between delicious ingredients to avoid the usual flavours. The location is very handy, near a big carpark, just outside the night pedestrian area, avoiding the noisy crowds but with the main square easy and safe to reach. A very good surprise was the seadas, probaly the best in town. For those of you with kids, the restaurant is very close to the inflatable park near Eurospin. Staff is fun and friendly, family like mine were more than welcome :)

We were traveling a family of four (2 adults, 6 yo & 9 yo). We were hoping to have pizzas, but at the time of the day, 1 pm, they were not serving pizzas. We ordered pasta with ragu, ravioli, and other pasta with vegetables and a few kinds of meat. Food was served quickly, and it was delicious, also for our kids who prefer ragu from mainland Italy, and this one for tasty for them. So the food we liked very much. What we didn't like was the lack of English menu and no English speaking crew of the restaurant, not even waiter.
