Had an incredible Sunday roast (and dessert!). The food was so good, especially the cheesy cauliflower 😍 the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was great - lovely cosy fire going. Had a roast, dessert and a few pints - definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

We went here on a Saturday night and it was busy so it's worthwhile booking ahead. The food was unexpectedly great quality and generous portions. You pay a few pounds more than other pubs but I would definitely go again as the food was far better than most pubs we have gone to. We had pork belly, steak and ale pie and someone had a burger. The pork belly was a large piece with perfect crackerling and it sat in amazing gravy. The slice of pie was twice the size you normally see with a choice of mash, chips or fries. The pie was also sat in gravy and was amazing. And finally the burger and chips were very good.

We just had a birthday celebration meal for 15 at the Gladstone.. wow. What can I say..we thoroughly enjoyed it ! ..I had the sirloin and honestly one of the best...everyone said how great it was there and loved the food..We can definitely recommend and will be going again soon. We had to pre order as it was a big group and we must say we had great communication regarding our needs to make sure we had a perfect evening..really appreciated x Great hosting..great venue..thank you.x

Visited today with friends & had the most amazing meal. The burger with stilton was absolutely gorgeous and I opted for the smaller portion of the chocolate brownie which was perfect. Incredible food, relaxed atmosphere & beautiful venue. Will 100% return. Thank you!

Really good place. Friendly service. Good options for drinks and the food looks good even if I've not yet tried it. The garden has recently been spruced up and is really good. Rarely too busy out there even in glorious weather and you can hire part of the garden for a party which looked like it was going well for the group there when I was there.

Excellent gluten free options. Staff were lovely and welcoming. The brownie for dessert was very rich but delicious, and far too big to finish!

First time visiting and was pleasantly surprised. Despite being Sunday lunchtime and very busy we didn't have to queue for the Carvery which was very nice. The staff were very friendly too. Highly recommended and will visit again.

Great carvery. Also great for vegetarian roast.They also have a main menu if you prefer. They are always very accomodating for our young children, they have small cutlery and always offer to help with any additional needs. Lovely staff, lovely food. Looking forward to going again soon!

We have been a few times now and the service is fine every time we've been, however we came on 17/08/25 and the service we received from Harry was top tier, very attentive and polite, my Fiancée has a dairy and gluten intolerance and instead of just brushing it off and letting us figure out what she could eat from the carvery on our own like we have every time before, he went through and listed what she wouldn't be able to eat, and advised us on what would be most at risk for cross contamination. It seems like such a little thing but for someone who dines out pretty frequently and has been unwell from it before, having the server advising us in a very nice way was such a breath of fresh air honestly. I'd come back just for his incredible service

Lovely pub, good carvery at a reasonable price and lovely staff. Went on a Wednesday evening, fairly quiet which was a bonus. I had the vege option from the carvery, so had to wait a little longer, but this was not a problem and didn't have to wait long.

Had the carvery - the beef was lovely and tender and the vegetables were tasty. Adam, our server was excellent and very patient (in fact an the staff were friendly and helpful) Impressed with the quality of food and will visit again.

The hotel was wonderful. The service staff was excellent for the hotel. My daughter and I are breakfast at the restaurant. I had the porridge (£6.50) and my daughter had the dippy eggs (£6.00). We each had coffee. We were charged for two breakfast table meals at £15 each. After we are we were told that was a required purchase. There was nothing on the menu about a £15 minimum charge, we were not told about the minimum charge, and we did not see any signage about the minimum charge. The breakfast was good. Having an undisclosed minimum charge was upsetting and is not the way I would expect to be treated by a business. *We ate at the restaurant the previous night. One of our party has celiac. The restaurant staff was excellent and the food was wonderful. I highly recommend the lodging but buyer beware.

We decided to stop for lunch when driving nearby and OMG I am so glad about that. By far THE BEST pub food I’ve had. Staff were super friendly and helpful when recommending food. We had a meat dish to be shared between two people, with a delicious blue cheese sauce, chips, on the vine tomatoes and salad / broccoli. For dessert a brownie with some fruit sauce - I’m not a fan and ate it all. I haven’t stopped thinking about it yet 😅. Honestly, super good experience and I can’t wait to come back!!

Our stay at the White Hart Ford was lovely! Quaint, charming, and quiet location for our three-night stay. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Nikki helped us arrange an early AM taxi to the airport when Uber was not available. The Sunday roast was amazing! Overall, wonderful time and happy to have gotten to experience this adorable place.

A fantastic pub with a great history. Tucked away in the town of Ford, we arrived by car and there is plenty of space in the car. We only came here for a drink and some lunch, but want to visit again already for an evening meal. Just a 30 minute drive from Bristol too! Food and service was fantastic, and the pub is very well decorated and welcoming!

Another gem in this region. The Cotswolds aren’t short of lovely places to eat and stay and the White Hart is no exception. It’s a lovely old stone inn on a river bank. Decent pub and a great restaurant. Food was great from a large menu catering for all tastes. The room was lovely, though a bit chilly but a heater is provided. Staff were ace, and very friendly. I’ll probably be back

Lovely rooms, lovely restaurant, and even lovelier service. Check-in was nice and easy and Stuart took extra care of us for our Sunday dinner. Easy walking distance to castle combe as well! Highly, highly, recommend!

I stayed for one night and the room was lovely and cosy. Everything was great quality and they did their best to accommodate our requests. The pub itself is beautiful, in a stunning location. The food was amazing, and really good value for money. Most importantly the staff were wonderful. Really helpful and really friendly. This is also a great place to stay if you're visiting the nearby villages.

Popped in while traveling. Arrived not too long after opening and were seen immediately. All staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food we had was out of this world and everything we saw others ordering looked just sublime. We had the swordfish which melted in the mouth and everything comes with veg and both roast and dauphinoise potatoes. If you have the chance to eat here, do so you will not regret it.

Very good meal. We had roast beef and belly pork. Both were melt in the mouth. The belly pork wasn't too fatty though the crackling wasn't crisp. Plenty of veg and dauphinoise as well as roast potatoes. Was surprised that there were so many empty tables. Desserts were good, though quite pricy. A great parfait with rhubarb and ginger

We were looking for some quick dinner on our way from Bristol to Oxford and stumbled upon this amazing place. The food was very tasty, the portions were rather generous and the staff was very kind and helpful. We can especially recommend french onion soup.

Wow! Great evening out. Food was amazing Group of friends on our Monthly night out. We have been before and had an amazing meal, so we knew we would want to visit again for a Christmas treat. We were not disappointed. We went mid week but the restaurant was really buzzing . Got drinks at the bar and moved straight to our table, by the open wood fire 💖 Our starters came quickly and the lovely waitress made sure we wanted for nothing.Top service. The goats cheese was a firm favourite as were the pate and beautiful mushrooms. Mains are all good, but the Christmas Turkey dinner was sublime! Turkey breast was juicy and practically coved the whole plate! Help yourself from a good choice vegetables including red cabbage that are placed on your table. Best to save some room as the pudding menu is rather yummy also! And it would be rude to not to try! Really nice place to visit with outstanding service and a great menu. Go on spoil your loved ones, you will not be disappointed. 💖

We had a birthday lunch here and I have to say, it was just fabulous. The restaurant is easy to get to from the motorway and has plenty of parking. Decor is pleasant inside and the tables are spaced far enough apart to give you privacy. Service was impeccable, the food was well presented, delicious and had good sized portions. Value for money was excellent and we will certainly return.

Having read earlier good reviews I booked a lunch here on the occasion of my wife’s birthday and our anniversary. It’s about an hour’s drive from where we live. Unfortunately it was a little underwhelming in terms of the overall experience. Maybe our expectations were too high but the welcome, hospitality and service was lack-lustre, the set menu food was competent but a bit clumsy and unrefined and the general ambience was rather dull and without much sparkle. Was everyone tired after what may have been a busy bank holiday weekend perhaps?

Brilliant food at a really good price! Stopped for lunch recently on a weekday and it was relatively empty; we've been round for dinner/weekends and it does get quite full so I'd recommend reservations to avoid disappointment. The food is always wonderful. Massive portions and exceptional flavours. We usually order the set menus and you get several side dishes to share with your order (roasties, dauphinoise potatoes and veggies) Staff are incredibly nice and food comes out quickly. There's parking outside the restaurant.

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. The food was amazing. We got the fish special, fish and chips, and liver pate. All were amazing. There were so many gluten free options! Many wine and drink selections as well. There is a lovely backyard area you can sit in with a drink while waiting. Very friendly for kids as well. Very delightful atmosphere as well. Recommend having a reservation!

Once a year I'll head down to Wiltshire to visit the family, we always go for dinner at the Langley Tap, A hidden Gem in the heart of Wiltshire. A cosy little pub with quirky decor, the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable about the locally sourced menu. We had booked on a busy Saturday night, the place had a good buzz about it, the staff coped with ease managing all the tables. I started with Pheasant Bon Bon's with frizee leaves and grain mustard creme, just the right ratio of meat to potato in each perfectly formed ball, lovely and crispy on the outside. For the main course two of us had the Pork Chop with braised red cabbage and dauphinoise potatoes, Wow!!!! 👌 It will probably be one of the best dishes I'll eat this year, the Chop was perfectly seasoned with a good amount of fat that had been sealed in the pan, the red cabbage was sweet and savoury with a hit of vinegar and star anise. Book ahead to avoid disappointment

We have officially found our stop for whenever we're traveling on the M4. We had our 3 month old with us and Ashleigh (sorry if it's spelt wrong!) seated us at a table where we'd have space to put her car seat which we were very grateful for. Any questions we had regarding the menu were met with knowledgeable answers and helped us make a decision on the food we chose. Our courses came out at good speed, but at no point did we feel rushed. The quality of the food was absolutely outstanding, the flavours all complemented each other perfectly and the portions were exactly the amount you need to feel comfortably full. Everything about this visit, the service, the food, the pub itself and the atmosphere was 10/10 for us, we honestly can't wait to come back!

We had a lovely lunch, only one veggie main option [ratatouille] but it was delicious. Staff were so attentive and inviting and the pub is immaculately clean. We would very much recommend you go and try the food as the pub is great and a real treat and just a couple of miles from Chippenham centre. Wonderful, hearty, elevated pub grub in a traditional English pub. Warm, attentive and friendly staff. A local gem that’s worth a commute. If that doesn’t sell it for you the £2 pints of local stout will.

Food was mediocre at best. Ordered steak medium to well done - arrived medium to well done however no garnish on greenery - an over cooked tomatoe and a sauce that was served like warm at best and tasted awful. Price £34 for meal and small beer. Over priced - get better steak meal in a Wetherspoons - though they stopped doing steak recently

£25 for 3 meat slices is way too expensive! Sorry, but it's not good enough for the price paid. Hardly any chicken, too! The one slice of beef was very fatty. The pork was nearly all fat! Also £8.00 for a dry tiramisu is terrible, worst desert I've ever had! Drinks are very expensive! Great staff, though!

I called ahead to ask if they could accommodate my autistic Son’s therapy dog. The lady was so lovely. She said she would set a table for us both. She was very hospitable and even made a mocktail that wasn’t on the menu for my Son. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! We only had puddings and some fries but all were delicious. My Son felt totally at ease and really enjoyed walking his dog in the beer garden. Five stars all around!

Booked a table for 4, which I would recommend, especially for a Sunday lunchtime. Lovely decor and very clean on arrival. All staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Food was delicious (special nod to the roast potatoes)! The selection of vegetables was so good and fresh, coming from a farm shop nearby so locally sourced. Very happy customers 😁

We were part of a party of seventy celebrating the evening before a wedding event the following day. The Inn presents well. It is clean with extensive seating, and the staff are very pleasant. The hot buffet was absolutely delicious. Compliments to the chef, who obviously cared about the food he was providing for his customers. The weather was hot! Thankfully there is a large garden with ample seating. Overall we enjoyed a lovely evening with our hosts, who definitely made an excellent choice of venue.

The staff were pleasant, we ordered ribs with extra meat food arrived quickly however when they arrived it was basically belly pork not ribs as I expected. This should be stated on the menu as I would never have ordered it.We did have a long wait for our coffees at the end of our meal which was a bit disappointing.

Had a Sunday roast here a few weeks ago. I’m vegetarian and the choice was exceptional. I will definitely go back. Child friendly and a really great atmosphere.

Our first time visiting this pub, and it was a delight; the service was excellent, and that was the best burger I've had in 28 years of being vegan. Nothing out of a packet, not a basic fake meat affair, nor a job lot of mashed veg, this was a homemade creation - Shiitake, cashew & beetroot burger with vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado, onion jam, slaw and fries. This is bearing in mind we weren't particularly keen on having burger today too. The slaw, the incredibly crispy fries, even the ketchup was superb. I'd happily have that burger as part of a roast dinner . I don't think I've ever written a glowing review about a burger meal before. Well done that chef. On top of this the place itself has a great feel to it, welcomes dogs and sells my favourite beer, Doombar. We're only in the area for another week, we shall definitely be returning.

We had the most incredible experience here celebrating our first wedding anniversary. The food was outstanding but the service and staff were extraordinary. We were so well looked after and we felt very special. I cannot recommend The Somerford Arms enough and this will definitely not be our only visit here. 10/10

Just went for a drink, but have heard lots of good things about the food!! Nice atmosphere inside, friendly staff and some outside space too.

We were originally going to a different pub that we always go to when on holiday but it was closed due to a power cut. We quickly found this pub by searching pubs in the area and thought we would give it a go. The pub was lovely and the food and service was amazing 👏 we both had the cheese burgers and they were the best we had in a very long time. We couldn't fault anything at all. We will definitely come to this pub next time we are in the area. Thankyou.

We aren’t local and this place was recommended to us. In a word- WOW! We visited with our little girl and dog and all felt so welcomed from the moment we walked in. The food was incredible- probably the best steak and ale pie we’ve ever had! There was a very decent amount of chunky steak in the pie which is rare! Homemade too which is always a winner! Staff were attentive and very friendly. We will be back for sure if ever passing or in the area again.

First visit here but it won't be my last. Excellent food, staff were great, real ale range was a little limited but what I had was on good condition.

We came on a Sunday as a walk in but were able to choose where we wanted to sit right away. We sat out in the barn. Really nice atmosphere and great prices for quality food.

Always welcoming and helpful. New staff on the occasion I visited needed guidance, however we all have to start somewhere so accept that. A good choice of menu and plenty of seating in the pub and in the enclosed and heated barn area which is ideal for large groups. Nice garden area for families too 👍

Rang at short notice to book Sunday lunch in the garden, shown to a spacious garden with well spaced out tables some with umbrellas and some in a custom built open barn. Friendly attentive staff, good menu choices at fair prices. Ordered Sunday beef roast, came out promptly, nicely presented with separate seasonal vegetables, excellent proportions and really tender beef, nice roasties, tasty gravy. Good choice of beers, wines and cider. Excellent choice of puds, settled for homemade sticky toffee pudding with cream and Caribbean bread and butter pudding with bananas and raisins. Excellent portions really enjoyable sweets. Good car parking and a small play area for the children, overall a very good experience

We went for the American IPA festival. Great selection of drinks. Sadly we got there after the kitchen closed, so couldn’t eat. Staff were really friendly and we ended up spending the evening g chatting to locals.

Came for a 50th birthday meal, nice surroundings, food was nice with a good selection. Plenty of beer and cider to try and a nice area outside to sit with a play area for the kids. Will visit again.

Found the Athena whilst we were wandering around the town. Wanted a light lunch. Had a good selection on the menu. Authentic Greek food at a reasonable price. Fresh and tasty dishes. Dessert was delicious. Service excellent and very welcoming 😁

Absolutely fantastic night! Food was amazing and high quality, but very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was lovely and our reservation was on time. Very easy to get to in the centre of town and near the station. But the highlight of the evening was the service - can't thank the staff enough for making us laugh so much!! Roger was brilliant, he knew when to step in with a recommendation or joke, and when to let us chat amongst ourselves and enjoy the food. Can't wait to go back!

I have never left a review before but felt i owed it to future visitors . It's called athena but it tasted more like the local lidl's with tiny portions microwaved Swedish meatballs (don't expect authentic juicy meatballs ) i was really sad for my son to have to eat this , half a charcoal pitter which was meant be a juicy filling gyro with weird chicken that had the texture off egg so very disappointed. The sausage starter was great 👍 but definitely bought from lidl i know this as I buy them all the time . £90 on tiny portions & cheap thoughtless ingredients Sadly won't be back.

The food quality was superb. I had a taste of the sea bass as well as the chicken, and both were made fresh and tasted nice. The prices outside are out of date, and inside the menu is more expensive by around £3 per dish, so a meal costs around £35 per person, which isn't exactly cheap. For the location, I'd say it's quite expensive, as I've seen similarly priced restaurants in London and Bath, which are expensive locations on its own. I can't complain about the service, it was quick, efficient and polite. The food came in under 15 minutes, and so that's always a plus. Lastly, the decor and atmosphere was great. Relatively modern decorations, appealing to most I'd say.

We last visited 5 years ago and made a point of coming back when visiting the area. Still really great food with generous portions. Pleased you could buy a pint of cola and not limited to those little bottles. Recommend the desserts. Would be nice to get lamb moussaka as an option.

Wow what can I say food excellent service excellent we hadn't been for a few years as one bad experience but reading all the positive reviews decided to give it another try and we were not disappointed

Under new management, let me say this right at the start the food is excellent. The food is fine dining quality. However its a Sunday of course as brits we all fancy a roast dinner. We were sat to our table with no mention that roasts are not been served until later in the year. At this point your at the point of no return. The pork belly was very good and it made up for the lack of roast although at £19 perhaps a little expensive for Swindon. The service was a little lack lustre after our meal we were never offered a pudding and had to go to the bar to pay. Im assuming there is no pudding menu which is a real shame. The beers are also lacking in choice with the only lager being cruzcampo "yuck" please get some premium lagers. Ok I'll say it please get peroni. Plenty of IPA's if your a hipster. Overall a good pub with a large outside area for kids to play. I'll be returning to see how they progress in the coming months. Good luck all.

We visited The Cross Keys in Wanborough last Sunday and were overall very pleased with our experience. The ambience of the pub is cosy and welcoming, with its classy decor giving a real sense of rural charm. It’s the perfect setting for a relaxed Sunday meal. The menu offered various options, and we opted for the Sunday roast. The portions were generous, and the food arrived hot and beautifully presented. The Lamb I had was tender and flavorful, accompanied by well-cooked vegetables and a rich, savoury gravy. The Yorkshire puddings were a real highlight—perfectly puffed and golden. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations; the quality of the food was excellent. Overall, we had a lovely visit to The Cross Keys and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality meal in a delightful pub atmosphere. We're looking forward to our next visit!--

Popped in for a carvery with our 2 boys today, what a brilliant experience. Staff were super friendly and very efficient. Food looked and smelt incredible on the pass while waiting to get our carvery. Our booking was at 4:30 so we were slightly prepared for lack of availability due to it being late In the day. Couldn’t have been more wrong! Everything was hot and fresh and available in abundance! The choice of meat was incredible and it’s clear they value quality too! There were multiple girls waitressing today and all very friendly and polite and knew exactly what they were doing 😍 Wonderful experience, we will defo be back.

Met up with some friends (6). Walked in to a clean and lovely clean smelling bar.Not eaten here for a very long time. So decided we would give it go. Good service, with a bit of laughter with the server. Which we all like. ( Interaction is important). Six different meals and all of us enjoyed what we had. Also the beer and wine 🍷went down well. We will make making more visits here. Thankyou for hosting a really enjoyable night.

We visited tonight to try the new food and management. We weren’t disappointed! Fab service, great food and we will visit again soon for sure. We shared some starters between the family and then enjoyed a main course each and all loved what we ordered. The landlady/chef was very informative and friendly.

Very nice place in the clarks village. We had a burger with bacon and sweet potatoes that was really good. The salad with chicken, avocado and bacon really surprised me. The chicken is very well done and the taste was outstanding. The staff is really friendly and nice and helpful.

We visited here today with our 2 dogs 3-4pm. We received a friendly welcome, all the staff were lovely and very attentive, great service. I had a red bush tea, and hubby had americano coffee (he said it was really nice coffee). There was a lovely atmosphere, with background music that didn't make it difficult to eat with it playing. The food didn't take long to arrive, it was well presented, they used fresh salad ingredients, and cooked the food perfectly. I'm both gluten and milk intolerant, I chose a beyond meat burger. It was very tasty. Hubby chose the steak, and he said he enjoyed his meal. So, we stayed for dessert. Hubby enjoyed sticky toffee pudding, and I had GF VG passion fruit Semifreddo, omg it was really lovely, I highly recommend it. It is very rare to find a dessert for me when we eat out. We took home a chocolate & raspberry torte, it tasted rich and delicious. A big thank you to the team at Fondo Lounge. You delivered an enjoyable customer service experience today. I will add a photo of my dessert, I should have taken it before I cut it with my spoon, but you'll get the idea

Staff were very careful to double check my granddaughter's allergies and having confirmed our food order, the manager spoke to the chef to ensure her food would be safe. Unfortunately, coleslaw was mistakenly served with the meal even though carrots are one of the allergies we had discussed. The waitress was very apologetic and a fresh meal was then served, again with apologies. I still rate the service as 5* purely because of the instant response and apologies. Carrots are an unusual allergy and I believe this was a genuine slip up which was quickly rectified.

Love a trip to Fondo Lounge. The staff are friendly and welcoming and there's a nice atmosphere. There is the option to sit in the front where it's a bit more lively or in the back where it's a bit more intimate. Love the decor details in the back, there's a beautiful series of art featuring different citrus fruits, its interesting and elegant.

Brilliant, we booked a large table the day before we arrived and pre booked most of the food orders for 30 plus adults and children. Although this must have been very challenging for the staff they remained very helpful, friendly and patient. They did an excellent job, well done guys, appreciated!

A beautiful restaurant on the High Street with a cosy home vibe. Clusters of paintings on the walls, and decorative lights and plants create a unique style. The food was brilliant and the restaurant offers a large free- from menu upon request. Food came out promptly. Was a bit of a wait for our drinks, as they arrived after our food arrived. Very helpful staff. Reservations needed for groups of six or more.

Absolutely superb meal tonight and the night prior for 2 separate parties eating a variety of gorgeous meals. Went with my family, and each meal was superb. The kids' pizza was so very big and also came with a pudding. The sirloin steak was absolutely superb. Will return .

Typical UK Italian place. The food was ok. I wouldn't recommend the tiramisu, but the profiteroles were a highlight. We had reservations, but the restaurant was quite big so I imagine they'll easily accept walk-ins. There's no parking onsite but there's free street parking along the road.

We've been to La Passione a few times now. This is the first time to go whilst under new management and name change to Amici. They honoured our La Passione gift vouchers. The food was very tasty. The pizza was cooked better than the times we went when the place was called La Passione. The service was more attentive. Only thing negative is that it took a long time for food to come.

We had got a starter of garlic bread than pizzas with a side of mushrooms and some desserts it was amazing and the service was so good!! They even gave us a take away box from our left overs will 100% go again!!

First impressions - very cold and very loud, we ended up battling out conversations against a tsunami of noise, whilst keeping our jackets on to stay warm. Bruschetta fromage was disappointingly very hard bread; the garlic bread was huge but a bit lackluster in flavour; the tagliatelle pescare was average and missing decent seasoning; the fish was dry and overcooked, served with very sorry looking chips. The tiramisu was ordinary, with too much cream to bulk it out. Overall, a very underwhelming experience.

The staff could not be more friendly, so welcoming and attentive with dietary needs and checking everything is ok with food and drinks. Food is so so tasty, my only gripe would be slightly dry pork on one occasion, had I asked for different I'm sure I'd have been provided. The decor is so classic country pub with stone floors, low beamed ceiling, stags heads on the wall, jazzy wallpaper. The courtyard outside seating space is really spacious, nicely sat in the sunshine, but parasol options, and blankets for cooler weather. It's a wonderful pub.

Had an amazing meal out and the staff very friendly and welcoming. I had the pan fried pork and mash and veg, everything cooked to perfection. My partner had the classic steak and again cooked perfectly. Will be going back and highly recommended. Also noticed they do wood fired pizzas on a Friday 5.30-7.30.

Had Sunday lunch as a treat for my Birthday. Roast beef with trimmings. Lovely staff, sat outside to enjoy the weather and avoid crowds. Welcoming environment but can get quite busy.

Considering I booked a table 6 weeks prior to our booking, I felt totally rushed, before we had even sat down we was told we had to vacate the table within 1 hr 45 mins, there was 9 of us. We ordered drinks and was again told there was another booking after us and they needed the table back, there was no need to really reiterate this again, this really set the tone for my daughters 30th birthday celebration and ruined the evening, the food was ok, however, risotto very bland. We asked for the birthday cake back and decided to leave after food.

We met here for a working lunch on the hottest day of the year so far. Everything was fabulous. Great menu choices. Wonderful service. Helpful staff. Fantastic atmosphere and a delightful outside seating area. Can highly recommend.

Attended a close friends wedding party here on Saturday afternoon/evening, the food was amazing, came out hot, tasty and beautifully presented, the staff were warm, friendly and attention to detail brilliant, nothing was to much trouble. Can highly recommend coming here and will be back again soon. Keep up the first class job you do.

We held our wedding breakfast and evening reception in the function room and were absolutely over the moon with the whole experience. From day one, the attention to detail was amazing. Mark did his very best to make sure every aspect of the event was discussed and plans put in place. He even covered things we'd not even thought about. He answered my texts and calls with kindness and professionalism even when it was a silly question Mark gave us advice and ideas when setting up the venue the day before, again offering little ideas that improved the feel of the venue. On the day...Wow !! The wedding breakfast. The whole team were perfect. The food was absolutely delicious. Every person mentioned how fabulous their meal was. Not one complaint or niggle. We had 30 guests and not one person had a bad thing to say. The service was outstanding, the staff made sure everyone had everything they needed. Every meal was hot, tasty and very filling. We had a choice of 4 starters, 7 mains and 3 desserts. The team catered for us all perfectly, service was seamless with no long gaps between courses. Even serving the food was perfect...the food appeared, empty plates taken, no fuss, just perfectly executed. The transition between day and evening again was seamless and was managed beautifully. The food, again, was amazing. The compliments I received were constant. The guests said "There was so much", " "What a great choice," "best buffet I've been to," "delicious," "fabulous food," and "the food just kept coming" The Wellesley Team deserve an award for the hard work and the dedication put into making our day special. I would like to thank the staff for being so helpful I would say they went above and beyond, after placing a large order for collection not realising I had placed the order with the wrong restaurant in a different town. The staff arranged to drive half way to meet us with order and on arrival home the food was still hot all our party enjoyed the food ordered if I lived closer would definitely use this restaurant again, I would definitely recommend this restaurant service was outstanding and food to match

For Trowbridge this is a pretty good curry. Staff friendly and the dhansak was tasty, the lamb was really well cooked. It was Let down by samosas from the freezer and a mass produced pudding that felt like it had been in the freezer a long long time.

Great Thai restaurant, with friendly service and food that really captures the taste of Thailand. Ingredients must be sourced very well as I've found it difficult to find Thai restaurants in the UK that can deliver a dish that is equivalent to ones I've had in Thailand, but this place has managed to do that! Highly recommend.

There is a lovely atmosphere in the area where you eat, however it is separated from the bar area. That does mean the service is quite poor because they don't have a full view of the people eating. There was no welcome, when I came in. There was no how was the food type of questions halfway through and there was no real warm goodbye at the end.... So you scored low for service..... My chicken with basil had a good flavour but the soup was not as good as that.... To be frank, rather than making it sour with tamarind, a large quantity of lemon juice had been used instead which made it quite unpalatable And of course my favourite hate is serving sticky rice in a plastic bag that's been microwaved, it wouldn't have taken much to take it out of the plastic bag...... The other observation is the plastic folded menus were starting to lose some of the details and a few of the dishes were effectively rubbed off the menu...... If only they could be more welcoming it would have helped a great deal.

A very disappointing experience from the very beginning, having to wait at least 15 mins before we were asked if we wanted anything to drink. Then another 15 mins plus wait for our food order to be taken. After 20 mins, starters were served. Then we waited and waited and waited for our main meal. After we had waited 50 mins, (one table came in after us, had eaten their food including dessert and paid during our wait!), we asked if our food was coming in the next 10 mins otherwise we'd cancel our order. We were assured it would be delivered within 10 mins. 10 mins later, it arrived. Some of the food was very disappointing; the vegan Bolognese looked like a kids serving and the salad was very tired and limp looking (see photos). Fries were also forgotten, until we asked. We complained and the drinks, fries and salad were taken off the bill. However, what should have been a lovely gathering of friends just before Christmas was spoilt by shoddy service and poor food. We were informed that the reason for the delay was that the server was new and hadn't put through the order, until we raised issues with the delay. If that was the case, why did we receive our starters and why did no staff member pick up on the fact that we were waiting and waiting? For the record, it wasn't even busy, with many spare tables, despite being a Friday night. Prezzo, your service and food is normal much better than above and I hope this was a one off as I do like your food!

It's always a pleasure coming to dine here. The venue is very spacious and it doesn't feel rammed, as opposed to other places in town. The food seems to have improved in recent months (the calzone keeps getting better and better). To top it all up, the service is excellent; Janice (apologies if I'm not spelling her name correctly) welcomed us with the warmest smile, and her service was -together with Emily's- most exquisite. What amazing place, when we walked in we were immediately greeted and then they were quiet we got to choose where we sat which was a lush touch. The food we ordered was really delicious. My wife stole half of mine but actually hers was so good too. I think the lady that served us was Eve and she was so friendly and warm. Took care of us and was an absolutely brilliant help. Something had gone wrong with the Prezzo Club App for us, but Carolina, the manager, took charge and made all good by more than compensating for our inconvenience. Her treatment of us was an excellent example to her staff, as she showed huge kindness, attentiveness and professionalism. The food and atmosphere were great too!

Me and my partner came here for our 5th anniversary dinner and the atmosphere was very lovely. Eve was a very attentive server and the food quality was lovely. As someone with a gluten intolerance, I was pleasantly surprised to see there was a good food selection. The cocktails were also lovely! Thank you all so much for the lovely service.

We visited around 8pm on a Thursday evening and there was space in the car park and plenty of tables to choose from. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were attentive and efficient. Drinks were served quickly and the food arrived in around 7 minutes. It was hot, well cooked and delicious. We had Kung Po bean curd, vegetarian duck with mixed veg, plain noodles and mushroom rice. If you dine in the prices are the same as the takeaway menu but there's an additional 10% table surcharge. I haven't any negatives for this restaurant other than the prices are a little more than my usual takeaway but I would definitely visit again.

I don’t say this lightly: The Fortune served one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The beef was absolutely outstanding — tender, rich, and full of flavour. Every bite felt like something special, with the textures and seasoning working together beautifully. The Hong Kong-style sweet and sour chicken was another standout, perfectly balanced and paired with rice that was spot on. You can really tell there’s care and skill behind every dish. Service was just as impressive — the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the timing between courses was ideal. It gave the meal a relaxed, thoughtful pace that made the whole evening even more enjoyable. This place isn’t just good — it’s exceptional. If you’re in Chippenham and haven’t been to The Fortune, you’re seriously missing out.

I’m not typically the biggest fan of Chinese take away but eating in at The Fortune was lovely and the plain chow-mien was so tasty! Sadly we were only passing through as if this was local to us I would definitely be coming regularly!

We had a lovely evening meal with friends, nice vegetarian options, the Chinese Veggie Duck [pictured] is always lovely, had Black Bean Veggies for mains [pictured], it was all nice and tasty, portions slightly small. The restaurant is lovely since they renovated it only a couple of years back and has a nice ambience. Would recommend for a lovely Chinese Meal, ideal with friends and there is a play area at the back for the children too.

Myself and 3 friends came last night for a last minute dinner. We’re not local so picked this restaurant based on google reviews. I’ll make this super short… this was quite arguably the best food we’ve had. Everything was superb and delicious. We all agreed we’d come back to castle comb race track more often and make this restaurant part of the experience again and again.

We had a very pleasant meal at The Fortune. We booked on line which worked OK The Meal was well cooked and presented. The staff. Were pleasant and helpful. I will most definitely be going there again when I next visit the area.

We paid over £250 and stayed 1 night for a wedding. The hotel location is great, the reception and staff were friendly The room is spacious, but basic. It is an attic converted room with no air-con, but one fan in the room and windows were locked and can't be opened. The weather is very hot over 30°C. Our bed is so warm that I couldn't sleep well on it. How can a 4 star hotel have no air-con? It is worse than Premier Inn...

Lovely clean hotel, well located with friendly, professional and accommodating staff. The only tiny points to make are that we stayed during the heatwave and although there was a strong fan in the room, air conditioning would be better. There also wasn't a fridge in the room but otherwise, everything was brilliant. We would stay again!

Despite friendly, welcoming and helpful staff : this hotel is a disappointment. It's very expensive if you compare it to the Purple hotel chain and the room we had was dated and grubby. Shower curtain was minging, yellowed and smelly. The net curtains had an old dried splodge of birdsh on them and the window frames were flaking paint from rotten sills. Furniture was in need of updating/repairing and there was a recliner chair missing a cushion which rendered it useless. The pool had an issue was heating so was pretty much an unheated pool. All in all, not worth the £214 it cost especially having come from a Purple Inn which was clean, fresh and good value. The food was fine, standard hotel grub, no issues. The staff work really hard to keep customers happy and they deserve a pay rise for this. Emma, in particular, was very helpful and we can't fault staff at all. Best Western, however, need to revamp this place and give it a good scrub. Shower curtains are less than a fiver and would make a massive difference. Wouldn't revisit 😐

Rooms were unclean 2 days without fresh towels bathroom was never mopped stains on the wall a big clump of hair under the dressing table not sure if it was animal or human. My wheel chair could not manoeuvre around the room our opinion was not worth what we were charged food was nice we had a meal the restaurant staff were excellent the young girl was worth double what she was getting paid bar staff friendly we stayed for 4 nights cost nearly £600 Chippenham great little town I lived here 46 years ago will visit again

The staff are very friendly and attentive and there is a comfortable feel to the hotel. Good coffee and light lunches. Would very happily stay here if we did not live quite close by.

I was in the new wing on the west side, very disappointed with the room - no ventilation, no openable windows; on a sunny summer day the rooms facing the car park are sweltering. The bar looks good, as does the courtyard. The leisure pool and gym are a good addition.

On our trip to Bath, we planned to try this Indian restaurant and would say wasn't disappointed. The food specially the non veg food was good and quantity also was sufficient

Went to The Raj on the recommendation of a friend, whom I also met up with there. The dishes were different from other Indian restaurants I've eaten at, but they also had " the old favourites ". There was a three course special set menu,for the budget conscious ( myself included) at £18.95 ,,Sunday to Wednesday. You will have to ask about the set menu as there are a few options/ exclusions. We ordered Shahjani chicken, lamb shaatkhura, special fried rice and a peshawari naan bread, + the poppadoms and garlic mushrooms as starters,,,all to share. Delicious fare. Returning ASAP. 😋😋😋

Excellent food, dishes were generous, beautifully fragrant and full of flavour. Service was friendly and attentive. Our first time at this restaurant, parking available directly outside, we went on a Sunday evening and it was very quiet in the restaurant, take aways were constantly going out for delivery and were being collected, so obviously a popular restaurant in 'nam. Prices are very reasonable here too. We shall 100% be returning to the Raj.

Great food as always but felt let down this time Offered a meal deal for first time but turned out it didn’t include a rice or a bread or at least that was what the bill said 🤷‍♀️ Also charged £1 for a foil dish for taking the left overs home … I get it’s not much however never been charged for this here before or in any Indian restaurant we’ve been too 😵‍💫🤦🏼‍♀️ The icing on the cake was the waiter demanding a tip when we paid the bill which I feel is totally unacceptable ( was intending to leave one but generally I do that as cash not with the card payment but I do object to being asked for it 😠) Really feel the manager who is a great chap should address this with his staff Will give this restaurant another chance as the food is good but if this happens again it will be our last visit

Happened across this place whilst visiting the area. I wasn't lured in by the photo of Boris Johnson and the claim of '4th best ' in the country but the favourable reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I'd like to try the three restaurants that beat it 😉 cos the good was so nice and plentiful at reasonable prices with very attentive staff.

The room stinks of damp, the shower leaks, the table is broken, the lamps are broken, there is dust on every surface, fire extinguisher is missing. My friends had to wait over two hours to check in as the whole place was shut up with no one in sight, didn't even get an apology when they finally arrived. It's only a two star as the food in the bar is great. Shame about everything else

A very cosy place, on the way to Bath. Nice place for relaxing, quite. Rooms are well maintained, staff are well behaved and helpful. Safe for family. Designated car parking.

Yes the pub is under refurbishment and so not everything is 'done' but we enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful building with loads of character. Our twin room was spot on, comfortable and clean and situated off the courtyard at the rear of the pub. The bar is lovely and on a cold weekend we enjoyed the log fire. Food was very nice and cooked to order. Our host was friendly and helpful. We will certainly stay at the Crown again and are happy to recommend it to anyone wanting a beautiful place to stay in this area.

It was a very pleasant stay, beds were very comfortable and the space was excellent. It was particularly noisy however with the fans from the pub making noise all through the night which could be heard in our room. However, it was very affordable and we would be happy to stay again. Stayed a night at Lucknam Park to enjoy the hotel, spa and culinary delights of Michelin star chef Hywel Jones - and, even though the restaurant itself is a little old fashioned bordering on stuffy, it was a delightful dining experience. We enjoyed Mackerel tartar to kick off. A great dish, though a little under seasoned. The Scallop dish was wonderful with girolles, celeriac puree and a beautifully delicate sauce. The Turbot, followed by the Lamb dish (which we were later told was beef) were equally amazing. Then the Cheese course - wow, great selection and presentation from the young lady from Newport. The dessert was the only shortfall. It wasn't at all ordinary, but it wasn't extraordinary either. The recommended accompanying Gattinara Italian wine went down a treat. So overall, a classy and tasty fine dining experience.

Michelin worthy experience we are glad we tried. But would we return? The HJ experience started with a suggestion that we arrive early for a cocktail and a relaxed opportunity to review the menu. We are glad we took their suggestion. The Lucknam Park property is unique and beautiful. And the room where we relaxed with our cocktail was decorated a touch old school for my taste, but it was certainly beautiful and well appointed. The staff kicks of your pre-dinning experience with professional and attentive service that lasts through to the end of the meal. The dining room continued the theme of the entire hotel. Subtle luxury. we ordered the seasonal tasting menu. Collectively enjoyed the canapes (hit and miss, mostly hit), salmon (delicious), scallop (tasty), turbot (well prepared but not particularly flavorful), lamb (beautiful), cheese (a solid hit) and dessert (unmemorable). Bottom line, we were looking forward to HJ and enjoyed our meal. But it got me thinking about what one really receives from a fine dining experience. For every slam dunk awesome meal (San Sebastien's 2-star Amelia), we get a couple (HJ and The Latymer on this trip) that are enjoyable, but also inconsistent. I guess finding the gem is the point of experimenting with fine dining on occasion. While we would not return to HJ I recommend you try it for yourself. It's a good operation, it just did not wow us this time.

This is how a Michelin star experience should look like! From the moment you step into the beautiful and elegant country manor you are invited for welcome drinks that you can chose to sip on in the most stunning library, while picking your menu and the wine to complement. The dinner then takes place in the dining room, and even though it’s a 8 course menu you don’t feel overly full. The dishes are made with great attention to detail and taste phenomenal, it’s a wonderful place for a romantic dinner for two, Highly recommend !

I dined at Hywel Jones last week during my trip to the Cotswolds and had a mixed experience. First off, the good - the food and wine were amazing. We chose to do the à la carte menu and each dish was so balanced. The amuse bouche which was a parsnip mash was incredible. The dishes were also beautifully constructed. Now on to the bad - the hostess was awful and quite abrasive. She barely looked us in the eye and kind of tossed us the menus. She said she would send the sommelier over and walked off. As this was our first encounter with the staff, it instantly left a sour taste in my mouth. Luckily the rest of the staff were lovely. I had dined with 2 other people and we all realized that we had felt the same coldness from the hostess when discussing the dinner after the fact. A few minor things we noted about the service was that no one removed the crumbs from our table between courses and our napkins were not placed on our laps. These are things we have experienced at other Michelin star restaurants in France etc and while minor, they do enhance the dining experience.

There wasn’t any creativity in the plates. Everything was good but far from what you can expect from a Michelin star restaurant. The staff is friendly but they missed to bring our bottle of wine at the beginning of the set menu. The decoration is very stuffy and old fashioned. It wasn’t good value for money.

Myself and my bf stumbled upon the pub on a Sunday, late afternoon. It was fab! The food was so nice. Breaded cheese starter with red onion. Beef roast was nice, but the beef was a bit too chewy (and hurt my teeth) My bf had chicken and loved it. He followed his main with a sticky toffee pudding and I had the chocolate brownie. We only managed dessert as we had so long being left at our table that by the time someone came over we had space for dessert. Would be nice if the staff were a bit more attentive, but that’s all. Overall everything else was great!

Four of us had the Sunday Roast, and all four gave it top marks. The roast lamb was succulent, and the beef looked amazing. It was really busy on arrival, I think that says it all really. Recommend booking. Very good service too.

A family-run business with loving Fatima always there to greet and say hello. Great menu, lots of choices and reasonably priced, its BYO as they do not have an alcohol license. We have been enjoying the food here for years and last night was no exception, very tasty vegetarian dishes with cashew and paneer, it was delicious we loved it. Such attentive service and great atmosphere. Thank you, Fatima and all the staff. We can highly recommend.

Indian restaurant with extensive menu including specials for two or four people. Range of traditional favourites and chef’s specials that were really interesting. Food was not too spicy so you can taste the flavours. Good meat. Friendly and helpful staff, prices reasonable. Not licensed you can take your own beer and wine but not soft drinks.

Easily the best Indian restaurant in Chippenham! Always amazing for, food, service and hospitality. The king prawn and salmon dishes are a must if you like seafood. Have also brought guests, who equally agree, it is top quality. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We have been regularly ordering from Akash for 5 years and love and recommend them to everyone. We always have fresh, hot and delicious food from them. They have a very large menu selection, and we always enjoy whatever we get. As a vegetarian, I love the saag paneer. My meat eating partner orders all over the menu and has loved everything. They have very generous portions too, so we find it great value for money as we always have leftovers. Whether we collect, or ask them to deliver, they are always so kind, friendly and attentive. Their estimated wait or delivery times are always accurate. Also, one time, they forgot to put our poppadoms in our order, which is rare for them, as we typically order one, and they are always so generous to add in extras. When we let them know, they were very apologetic (it's only popadoms, not an issue at all). The next time we ordered (which was many weeks later) they remembered us by name and made a point to gave us extra, which we felt was so generous and thoughtful. They are just great. We will always order and support Akash!

Dinner at Akash was incredibly good! We had poppadoms, a lamb curry which was probably one of the best I have ever had, a mix tandoori, which had perfectly cooked and spiced meats and two rices which were super fluffy and fragrant. We also had a side of brinjal Baji, super delicious! We shall come back here very often!

Visited for lunch on 10 September 2025. Very friendly greeting and courteous staff. Varied selection of starter and main course. Food was excellent, well presented and very large portion sizes. Cannot comment on pudding menus as we had no space. Well done Nick and “Chef” a most enjoyable experience. Will visit again and highly recommended.

We stayed on 25th September and the first surprise was a lovely room upgrade to an apartment, this was spacious and the bedding was luxurious. The evening meal was quite frankly MasterChef quality, so beautifully presented and tasted divine. We can't wait to return.

Took my partner here for our second anniversary dinner. I had not been here for about 15 years and it was so nice. Drinks; we had the raspberry and lemon lemonade which were lush 🤤. Bread and olives to start which were nice, had the small plate and be warned it could fill you up for your main so be careful. For mains I had the sirloin steak and it was cooked to perfection and the chunky chips are up there with the best I’ve ever had! My partner had the burger and said it was really good too. For desert we shared the deconstructed cheesecake and it was quite unique and tasty too. I will be planning our next visit soon. Thank you for the great service too, all the service staff were lovely.

Had a lovely roast dinner in here on Sunday. It was the second time we had visited (first time was for drinks, and we wanted to return!). The food is more on the expensive side, but absolutely worth it for how delicious it is. Drinks menu also has a wonderful selection of decent wines. Overall atmosphere in the pub is so autumnal and cosy too. Thank you!

Excellent for a stopover or short break The bedroom accommodation is well designed and furnished. This was the first time at any hotel we have stayed in where the morning tea/coffee tray had a choice of three sorts of milk! The pub/restaurant itself is very welcoming and comfortably laid out with tables well spaced. All of this is an appropriate setting for the excellent service and delivery of an imaginative and very well executed menu. Each dish is set before you with great presentation - you will immediately reach for you camera phone before your knife nd fork!

we stopped for breakfast. They'll gladly got us in despite not being hotel guess. Cozy place, well decorated. Truly British vibe for not nationals. Waiter was kind and fast despite it seemed he was in charge both of serving and preparing the food. They had the traditional breakfast optio. The food was very well presented and delicious!

Booked to stay for 1 night before the announcement that the restaurant was closing as we wanted to eat here as travel up from Brighton. Was gutted and offered that we could get a refund. We held out and thankfully was a pop up kitchen for our stay. Saturday had pizza which was really great, really good dough and tasty toppings. Sunday, had the roast, absolutely amazing such a great variety of vegetables and all cooked to perfection. Service was warm and friendly too. Room was comfy, albeit a little cold when we arrived but the heating soon kicked in. Only downside was the awful weather with flooding etc so didn't venture out at all. Had a lovely plant-based meal here (14/07/24). A good variety of choices. We had starters, mains and desserts and everything was delicious. There's a large outdoor seating area that is very nicely landscaped and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Great transformation of this old village pub. They’ve kept the bar area and it retains a decent pub feel with a good range of lagers and ale, while their Indian restaurant is well delivered by prompt attentive and friendly staff. Good external garden for eating and kids. Menu has a great balance of the traditional with enough specials from the sub-continent to make it appeal to those with a taste for a little more adventure. 3 courses, wine and beers circa £40 per head before service which was well deserved. Menu’s been published so no need for it here. Definitely worth the trip and a visit if you’re in the area.

Perfect stop off on our way to Wales from Hampshire! I so wish this place was closer. It’s got great comfort food and a cosy vibe. I love all the plant decor. We went twice (On the way to and from wales!) so we had a good sample. We wish we’d tried the roast as it looked so good!! Great pub food and wonderful that it’s all vegan!

Beware of the high reviews from previous owner. This used to a really good vegan pub. The new owners have changed it to an Indian with a very limited vegan menu. But they have just changed the name on here and kept the reviews from the previous pub to make it look like they are nearly a 5 star restaurant. They really should have started over with a new business account. Rather than trick people into thinking that this place has been highly reviewed. Also if you're looking for a good vegan Indian goto vegan India in Bristol. Food from here was okay but limited vegan menu.

I cannot fault this place. The best roast I've ever had. All the food was delicious and the coffee was also really good! Staff were helpful and friendly. Lovely building, relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back whenever we're passing through Wiltshire.

Amazing place to eat at with an all plant based menu. Randomly found this place thanks to our flight being late and not getting to our destination on time. I wish we could always find places this good! I got the Mac n’ “Cheese” and the Fish and Chips(banana blossom). My wife got a noodle bowl. Everything was exceptionally good! The service was top notch. The parking lot is small, but I was very happy to have any parking. We will be back if we are ever back in the area.

It's the first time in years I've visited an Indian restaurant. We didn't need to book and were instantly seated. The dishes are reasonably priced and there is a good choice. The meal came quickly and was very tasty. The staff were friendly, but as I've found in many Indian restaurants, we did feel a little pushed and watched. It was a nice meal, but not as casual and relaxed as I was hoping.

The staff were attentive. The starters were average, the onion bhajis were dough like and the samosas were just OK but the poppadoms were good. The mains were tasty with lots of vegetarian options on the menu. We enjoyed the main course and had a nice night but were a little rushed by the fast service. They have Indian beers on-daft which is lovely and we had a pleasant meal and were looked after Thank you.

Had a lovely time at the Taj Mahal. Food was very nice, service really attentive and they thought our first round of drinks were too slow out so they gave us more complimentary drinks. A really nice touch that wasn’t necessary but appreciated. Will definitely be going back.

My wife and I and our spaniel Bella spent an amazing evening and overnight stay at the Clachan. All the staff were friendly, attentive and utterly charming. This place is an absolute dog friendly gem. We fined on the bar and had a fabulous supper. My wife plumped for the tandoori monkfish with a side dish of Bombay potato. She’s still waxing about it. I had the fish which was great, but wish I’d gone for the baby lemon sole! The ales were in tip too condition too. And my food and drink bill was very reasonable in the current climate!! Breakfast was fabulous too, and all served with a smile. Bella slept like a log too. It’s a 50 minute drive off the M74 if you are headed north or south and looking for an overnight stop, but it’s worth every mile. I would say booking is essential for room and food. We wish the owners - the landlady and chef - all the best for their upcoming nuptials. You put a smile on the face of two travel weary oldies. Thank you. Mike & Chris

I don't know what went wrong but ordered the tandoori chicken massala and it was soooo sweet and tasteless. While it lists sugar on the menu (usually used to help the acidity of the tomatoes), there was way too much. The menu also doesn't explicitly say it is sweet unlike other items on the menu. It was honestly as sweet as rice pudding. Also, mild does not equal tastèless. Not what you expect for a dish that's over £10. My Dad and sister had the same opinion. Will be looking for another India but serve this as a warning to be careful what you order.

Ordered over the phone for collection. Plenty of lovely big prawns in my dansak however it had little flavour, no spice and was full of sugar. The other curry we had was also spice less and full of sugar tasted more like a bad desert. Mushroom rice was tasteless too sadly. Will consider using a different Indian restaurant next time.

Love the "new branded" Brunel! Food was absolutely amazing! Fresh and nicely presented! Staff well mannered, nothing was too much trouble! The lady behind the bar was just simply amazing! Definitely a better vibe from my visit a few months ago when it felt like kids club!

First the order came out wrong. Apparently the notes didn't go to the kitchen about no cheese on burger. Then burger came out raw. Told the server and he walked away

First and foremost, the dishonesty of the staff needs to be mentioned. The sirloin steak is listed on the menu as £14, but they charge £20 instead. And don’t even get me started on the beer ٫they charge whatever price they feel like, with no consistency. It’s hard to believe you’re in the UK, where honesty and transparency are supposed to be standard. This place feels like a remote bar in the middle of nowhere. The customer service is shocking ٫ it’s as if the staff think you work for them. I absolutely do not recommend coming here. The food is poor quality, and the tables are sticky and dirty.

Plenty of Ales and Lagers to choose from. The food was excellent and not too expensive. Large screen Tvs are in all areas to watch the Sport. Pool table and Dart board for use.Staff are very friendly and helpful. Disabled toilet on the ground floor, Other toilets are upstairs. A room is available for hire at the rear with its own bar. I never leave reviews bad or good, but after my experience here last night I felt I needed too, I waited at the actual bar first in line and nobody would serve me at all. I was sober and all I wanted was a soft drink. I got the the bar at 1am and got a drink at 1:35am. I was stood there the entire time while the staff ignored me and served others around me. While I explained that I had been waiting the bar staff just shrugged it off and I was completely confused as to why? I would understand if I was highly intoxicated of being rowdy but I just stood there in silence and waited patiently just to be looked over again and again. The bar staff were rude and dismissive. I’m not sure where the entitlement comes from?

So this isn't my first visit to the brunel and normally if anyone wanted to come to Chippenham and needed somewhere to eat drink and watch the football id say to go here, however today was not good, I ordered a jacket potatoe it took nearly 40 minutes! Its a jacket potato, I can almost guarantee it wasn't fresh but I except that but then it shouldn't take that long, I had to wait a further 5 minutes just to get cutlery, everything ok here?

Lamb curry didn't have much lamb in it. It wasn't very tasty either. Porato wasn't porato, it was something else. The pashwari Naan was weird and not what I expected. Food was warm, and it was good portion size.

Ordered a delivery to Chippenham truck stop whist away in the lorry for the weekend at gone 10pm. Order arrived quickly and the food was cooked to perfection! Delivery driver gave me a call and delivered right to my door. It was so good that I had no option but to order again the very next night! Food again was consistently perfect and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Delivery driver was very friendly and I believe on food and delivery service alone they have earned the 5 stars that I give this review!

Came for a hen do meal and we were treated like royalty! The owner is so great and the food was equally brilliant.

Had the worst experience and food ever this evening. Firstly the delivery guy called me as he couldn’t find my address. 10 minutes later he still hadn’t arrived. So I went outside and he was knocking on my back garden gate! As you could imagine the food was stone cold. Portion sizes greatly reduced also. Hardly any chicken in our biryani’s and hardly anything in the sauce. Extremely disappointed since last time I ordered. Seriously considering not ordering again from here 😢😢

I have just had my first EVER Indian Takeaway!! Grotty horrible day and I didn't feel like messing when I got home and just couldn't face chips or anything greasy, so I took the plunge and went into Spice Heaven. Lovely, lovely staff and the food was absolutely delicious!! I told the gentleman I just wanted supper for me and the portion size was spot on, albeit a little more than I could manage - but then I wanted to try the Aloo Ghoo, otherwise the rice and curry portions would have been perfect on their own. I will definitely be going back!! If you're not that hungry before you go in, just sitting and taking in all those wonderful aromas, your appetite will certainly have woken up by the time your meal arrives! I would highly recommend this.

We stayed a night here during a short trip to the west country. Chris keeps a very nice and clean place. The rooms were very charming, we got a double at the front of the building. The bathroom tub was wonderful for a nice warm bath and the bed was very comfortable and warm. The kids stayed in a twin room which was very nice as well. The full English breakfast in the morning was great and everyone left full and ready for the day. We inquired about a sack lunch as well, but chose to do lunch out the next

Great little place tucked away but close enough to the M4 for customers to make the effort. We only found the place by chance on a long drive back from Cornwall with a side trip to Caerphilly and we were starving. We got lucky and had a great burger and met some lovely staff members. Good service. If it was closer to home we'd come again for Sunday lunch but if passing we'll definitely pop in again.

I was looking for a convenient overnight stay in a quiet location before a work meeting nearby. The building is old, but comfortably furnished, with a good and very comfortable mattress. The bathroom is a little dated but very clean. I booked direct which meant that breakfast was included, however as I don’t have breakfast normally a packed lunch was provided instead. That deserved a special mention as you could tell it was made with such care, down to freshly ground pepper in my delicious club sandwich! Chris is a friendly host, and I shall certainly look to stay here again when I find myself back in this area. I’ll mention briefly about that the wifi signal was not strong in my room, but serviceable to get online, sign in on vpn and get some work done.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Somehow we managed to find a room here at the last minute with three beds for a reasonable cost. The beds were very comfy and the room was perfectly clean and tidy. It was a joy to wake up to apples on the ground, a beautiful dining room, and a hot delicious breakfast! I'd definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely Sunday Roast in the bar area of the hotel as we had a dog with us. We booked a table only 30 minutes before but were made to feel very welcome and our dog too. The bar area was cosy and the 2 course roast was very tasty and a bargain. We'll be back.

One of the greatest places I have ever been to. Service was second to none. Flawless, and the waiter was very accommodating and got us seated in no time at all. The food was absolutely delicious, some of the best I have ever had and was more than enough to feed the whole family. The photos don't do it justice. Was great value for money and worth every penny. We came on a 3 night stay in Chippenham as our base to tour the area. Come the evening we went looking for somewhere to eat and took the chance of getting a table without a booking. We were lucky and from that moment on we were not disappointed. What a great place with a large reasonably priced food offer and. Very attentive friendly staff. We tried somewhere else for our second night but deciding where to go on our last night was an easy decision. We came back thankfully having made a booking beforehand. We would recommend doing this to avoid disappointment! Our only regret was that we live too far away to come back for a meal. We understand the restaurant has been open for less than a year. From what we experienced it’s got a great future. Good luck to all.

Just happened to be in Chippenham when we came across this restaurant and what a gem of a place it is. We had a lovely welcome, perfect service and the food was absolutely amazing. My first visit for lunch today and seriously impressed. Quality presentation of great tasting food and very reasonably priced. Very professional and polite staff. I will definitely return.

Came in as a walk in on a Monday, there were 6 of us but we were seated straight away. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff were all very nice. The only con I had is that the table we were at, and the one behind, was quite tight on space. But overall really great place.

Just left this beautiful restaurant! It was a last minute booking 40mins before our arrival on root home from Cotswold country fair. Totally sublime and we are so going again even though it’s an hour from hour!

My second visit here and again an outstanding meal. I had the monkfish which was one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Cooked perfectly, the sauce was so tasty too. Highly recommended.

First time visiting this restaurant this evening, not one thing I could complain about. Lovely spacious restaurant, with a relaxed atmosphere. All of the staff super professional, friendly & welcoming. Food was absolutely delicious (we ordered 2 pasta dishes with a side of cheesy garlic bread - you won't go home hungry!) When presented with the bill, we were informed of a optional 5% service charge, and again the time of paying asked if I accepted paying this. Which I was more than happy to do, well deserved and will definitely be returning.

Since changing hands some time back, the food has improved so much. I had vegetarian lasagna and shared part of a four-cheese pizza, it was all delicious and we will come back very soon. We were recommended this restaurant from our hotel receptionist. BRILLIANT!!!!! The food was outstanding and offered pastas gluten free; this was a HUGE bonus as my husband is gluten intolerant. Everything we ordered was as good as anything we had in London. Our waitress Lily was very attentive and filled all our requests for certain side items. I don't think I can say enough great things about our dining experience; experience it yourself!

An excellent Italian restaurant. The best Italian meal my wife and I have had in a long time and second best meal we've had on this trip to the UK. The setting is pleasant and good ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive and price was very reasonable. A combination that's hard to beat.

Incredible food, lovely ambience and the server was so polite, she explained the menu patiently and answered all our questions. The portion sizes were very generous and the garlic bread was almost the size of an actual Pizza. Our kids loved the food and fries were made from actual potato not the readymade fries,so we appreciate the fresh ingredients! We were informed about the service charge and were told we didn’t have to pay it but we were very happy to pay it anyway. The server also handed us some delicious mint chocolates on our way out of the restaurant as she noticed we loved them when they came at the end of our meal.

The food was tasty and very well presented. I am staying here for work and was disappointed with the portion size. £23 for one course and I had eaten it in under 2 minutes. Will have to drive out now for something to see me through the night.

Came in 20mins before closing on a Sunday and the two ladies there were so welcoming and kind. Curry goat is phenomenal - my only regret is not getting a second portion. I had the last meat patty (I think they were saving it to take home, very sweet to give it to us) and it was easily the tastiest patty I’ve ever had. So much flavour. This place lives up to its reputation. I think about that curry goat and patty on a daily basis. Wouldn’t go anywhere else to eat when in Chippenham.

I’ve recently moved to the Chippenham area from south London and one of the worries I had was sacrificing all the great intercontinental cuisine on offer in the metrop. in favour of the country life. Well I needn’t have worried! Some of my favourite spots in South London are Caribbean and none of them are better than Yanni’s. The jerk chicken is delightful, juicy and full of flavor, accompanied by a couple of really zingy sauces. However, it was the curry goat that won it for me. The meat was so tender, the sauce deep, rich and warming with just the right amount of heat. And our little girl could not get enough of the rice and peas! The staff were very friendly and accommodating and it’s in a great location on the Borough Parade: perfect for a couple of quick pints in town before heading to Yanni’s for a big Caribbean dinner. We only popped in for a quick lunch mid shop, but we will be back for a full slap up job soon.

First time celebrating a birthday, and it was lovely to try something new. A few things we wanted we not available sadly, but there was enough choice for us, and what we had was delicious. Staff very friendly and welcoming, Yanni was keen to have our honest opinion on the food.

So the food here is superb, the quality is great with the meat falling off of the bone. Seasoning was a great balance of spice and flavour. I will say however, my personal taste means I'd have preferred a little more heat, but I totally understand that I am an exception to the rule generally of British people and spice! I really enjoyed my meal, having the jerk chicken, calalloo and fried dumplings, which by the way are perfect for mopping up your plate! The staff are nice too and the whole place has a kind of popping over your friends house and their parents cooking you dinner kind of vibe, which is a refreshing change to the stuffy sit down restaurants we are used to. Give it a go you won't regret it!

Ordered the Jerk chicken with rice and a portion of plantain. Oh my god I have never tasted chicken like it. It even had a smoke ring on it!!!! Beautiful food full of flavour. It looks like a lovely relaxing quaint English tea room which is very good for a garden centre but was disappointed in their gluten free apple and plum cake slice. It had a strange texture and lacked flavour. My dad had a bakewell slice which he said was delicious. The drinks were nice. Hot chocolate with coconut milk was delicious costing £4. It's table service but paid at the counter. We have been here several times but this is the first time trying gluten free cake. I am happy to see they catered for different dietary requirements.

We had an afternoon tea booked for today (9/10/25) for my Mothers 87th birthday - The service and food we absolutely amazing, we cannot fault the wonderful staff who were attentive and friendly and the food was perfect - I would highly recommend to pay them a visit. Excellent value for money too !

There was a notice saying aplogising stating they were understaffed so a full menu may not be available. But all the staff were clearly working extremely hard and were attentive. You wouldn't have known. Very busy and there was a small wait to be seated. You could have a light bite or lunch. We opted for lunch. Our meals were very reasonably priced and perfectly acceptable. However, sadly my friend didn't enjoy her main at all (pesto, quinoa salad) and she isn't a fussy eater at all and felt something tasted odd. Normally I would have mentioned it but the staff were working so hard and were so kind, I didn't have the heart. I do feel that £2.30 for a small bottle of water is unreasonable; which my friend had. I opted for tap water.

Very nice experience. Welcoming and friendly staff. Food was very well presented and, more importantly, very tasty. I had the belly pork, and I have to say it was the best belly pork I'd had in 10 years. There was an issue with the till on the day we visited, which could have caused massive inconvenience, but it was dealt with very professionally by all members of the team. It's definitely worth eating there.

It's very rare for me to leave a low review like this but we've just walked out of the Chippenham branch without ordering. It's absolutely disgusting. Almost every table was filthy. Bins overflowing so people have left their trays all over the tables. Food all over the tables and floors. Fizzy drink all over the floor which is obviously a slip hazard. Serviettes and spoons thrown on the floor and the tables that didn't have anything in them hadn't been wiped down so there was nowhere really you could sit because the seats were dirty as well with food bits. I can't remember a time when I've been to a KFC that was this filthy. Probably around 6 or 7 staff behind the counter just looking out at the sea of rubbish. Someone did come out from behind the counter when we decided to leave, but I get the feeling they saw me taking these photos.

I went to this KFC about half an hour before closing and was really disappointed. The food I was given was clearly leftover, cold, and not fresh at all. It felt like they just handed me whatever was left instead of preparing a proper order. When I later checked, I saw that this branch already has mostly one-star reviews — and unfortunately, my experience matched that. If they don’t improve their standards and serve fresh food to every customer (regardless of the time of day), they really shouldn’t be operating. I strongly recommend avoiding this KFC in Chippenham until things change.

Ordered a veggie rice and ended with no rice and half filled with salad in the box, staff didn’t apologize for the issue. They did issued me a refund but not a great experience!!!!

Update: this restaurant is the definition of inconsistent, it can be 5 stars or it can be 1 star, and that is all down to the staff. Today’s visit was a 1. Nick was rude, dismissive and you can tell he doesn’t want to be there. He’s like a moody teenager who can only grunt half words. I get that staffing is a nightmare but this restaurant needs to be a little more discerning on who they hire. Nimdeah is a star. She’s the breath of fresh air this KFC needed. I’ve previously left a 1 star review that I’m having to change because her service was smiley, friendly and efficient, all things this KFC has been lacking over the last few years. They forgot the drinks but sorted it quickly.

Food is banging i cant lie. Never had issues with it other than ocasionally being cold. Biggest issue is how some of the staff is rude. Pointed out that i didnt get my sauce and the donnie was like “yea i said im getting it”. Honestly needs sorting (1 star) UPDATE: Went back and a different staff member served me and was a lot nicer so its nice to see some improvement and hopefully it stays that way

Absolutely disgusting service. Complained online for appalling service and received a voucher went in to use it half an hour later after being refused to use it I ordered a few meals then when got home half the order was missing especially my 5 year old grandsons box meal but because I didn’t take all the food back they wouldn’t entertain even a penny refund or even an apology which goes a long way absolutely unacceptable and definitely won’t be returning.

I am absolutely astounded with the service that this place offers. I ordered a meal online as it was late and I don’t have a car, the original time for delivery was 20 mins. In the end, it took OVER AN HOUR because they “didn’t make the food” until the driver had arrived. The food was cold when it arrived and furthermore looked like it had been thrown together with whatever they had leftover. The food was barely put together correctly and missing half the ingredients in the meal (salad, sauce, cheese). I rang the restaurant 20 minutes after the scheduled delivery time to ask if they knew what was going on, and I was met with somebody telling me that the order wasn’t even on their system, despite me having confirmation. The guy I spoke to had zero customer service at all and clearly did not want to be on the phone, while he was also talking to other servers and not listening to what I was saying. I am absolutely appalled.

After nearly a 2 hour wait for food, the chicken balls we’re horrible, hard and full of batter not chicken, prawn toast hard and tasted stale, noodles were burnt and chips looked like they were cooked 3 days ago! Definitely won’t be ordering again. Total waste of money.

Three times our order was given an eta of 1 hour but when the orders arrive 2 hours and 15 minutes later I find it very poor. On each occasion I ring after 1 hour and 30 minutes and each time I’m told it’s just been collected and it’s on its way . An 8 minute drive takes a further 50 minutes and am told after a 2nd call that it has just been cooked. Food is good but waiting 2 hours 15 minutes leaves a bad taste so sadly we will go elsewhere. A one off I can accept but 3 times with the same story of “it’s on its way is not acceptable

Food is really tasty however service and delivery is appalling. Given them the benefit of the doubt on multiple occasions whereby they say delivery will be 30 mins and an hour later I call and they say it’ll be another 20 minutes. Blaming it on the weather and multiple deliveries when really this is a common theme. Will stop ordering from here which is a shame as it is nice food.

Stopped off overnight in our motorhome, welcoming staff and locals, Lovley country pub, good food at fair prices. Very quiet village. Dogs welcome too, would recommend a visit

Warm and welcoming village pub. Staff are so lovely and the food very tasty what more can you ask for. We recommend the garlic mushrooms, burgers and the brownies. The chips are not a side portion they are huge but lovely. Pub is also very dog friendly and the owners dog is just gorgeous. Hopefully we will be back again on our next trip to Wales or this side of the country

We just dropped in on the off chance they had a table. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly and the waiteress were very friendly. It's a really great pub! The Sunday roast was well presented and tasty. Thank you for lovely experience. We will definitely be back again soon.

Beautiful food, very friendly staff, dog friendly. What's not to like??. We came here for the first time on Friday, trying to keep teenager, granny and a veggie happy.....success on all fronts. The pub has been completely updated, it has a bright and minimalist interior, with some interesting aviation memorabilia to tie in with the nearby airfield. There are pub classics (the burger was awesome apparently), but some other very interesting and different choices, including more than one for a veggie, which was a so nice. All the food was excellent. It says on their web page that they will very happily create things for intolerances and allergies, which is an added bonus. Great service, lovely puddings, we all left feeling it was a memorable meal. We'll be back.

Great tap, would highly recommend. I'm not sure what the 2/5 review was about from a chap called Ray, the drinks here seem good to me - nice selection of beers and ciders and priced well too. Food was lovely and very reasonable. Don't do what I did, and ask for chips on the side with your lasagne. You won't need it. They are tasty though, so if you're really hungry, go for it. I also feel like the tap needs another mention. Visit the gents and you'll see. Maybe the ladies too, but being male I wasn't willing to risk a trip into there just for the sake of this review. *dries hands without leaving sink area*

Whilst staying in Hullavington on holiday we visited this lovely pub twice. First for a drink and second for a meal. Both times we were welcomed by the pub dog ollie and the staff were very attentive. The three course meal we had was extremely nice and well cooked and presented. Compliments to the chef! Would recommend this place without a doubt.

Never known something so stupid of delivering your sub on an electric scooter. Took ages to arrive arrived cold no surprise there. But the best bit there was a hole in the bag so half the order fell out on route. He was holding the bags in his hands a back pack would of been a better idea. Still waiting for my order to arrive and the shop shuts in ten minutes so doubt I will ever get it. Not impressed. Now not answering the phone

Typical pizza from Domino's. Very nice, but every now and then the double decadence pizza will be either cheese-less or super cheesy. The wings are incredible, specially with the RedHot sauce.

Terrible customer service from manager. I have been buying from store regularly for the past year. Last time of ordering, one of our pizzas was made incorrectly with the wrong sauce. As it was late and a 20 minute drive to take it back, I decided to not take it straight back but mention it the next time I went in. Yesterday was the next time I went in. I spoke to the manager who told me he wasn't prepared to do anything about it and implied I was making it up! I wanted to order three large pizza again but did expect one of them to be at least heavily discounted to make up for last time. The manager was having none of it! Reviews on Google show I am not the only one to receive poor customer service. I won't be going back to the store again and suggest others avoid!!!

Having just ordered in pizza in store, I forgot to add stuffed crusts to my order and quickly ran back to alter the order, the girl at the till was lovely and helpful. She was about to change the order and her manager (named Gary) aggressively walked into our conversation and said ‘you can’t change it!’ And walked off. The girl was shocked as was I. The atmosphere he created seemed as though he terrorises all of his employees... Furthermore, they have a weird system of ordering gluten free pizzas where I was told that in order to place a gluten free order I can only do so on the app. This took an extra 20 minutes to download the app as the interest was rubbish! I have been to many other Domino’s franchises and they have taken the order there and then. Again the manager was being rude when I politely asked why this is. Ridiculously poor customer service!!! I recommend going to Calne branch. The people there and much nicer and it’s easier to get a pizza!

Excellent local burger joint. Only stayed in Chippenham for a short time and came here for dinner on our last night. The burgers were awesome, thickshakes delicious, chips amazing and reasonable prices. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes and the staff were very friendly. Wish we discovered this place earlier on our stay as we would have definitely gone again.

Unfortunately although the standard of the food is generally excellent, tonight they cooked up my order by only putting a small portion of chips when I ordered a large portion. May sound trivial but completely spoilt the meal we bought. More frustrating is that there is no telephone number on there social media or website presence to be able to complian or at least advise them of their error. Very frustrated experience with this company tonight.

Great little burger joint with a huge range of burgers, wraps and more. We had the blue cheese burger and bacon burger both of which were excellent. I've also tried the pea and mint falafel which was excellent. It's a tiny place so eating in isn't really an option though they have a table outside for nice weather.

Love it! So delicious and filling with options for carnivores and vegans. I've had the burger before and finally had the falafel burrito. It was full of flavour. If you are in a hurry you can also order online to pick up. Will deffo be there again! Very reasonably priced for a local business in 2023.

Can only describe my first ever visit to Boston burger as poor Griddle burger Double Boston burger Chicken tenders Dirty fries Chicken tenders were so over cooked the dog turned his nose up at them dry with a cement like coating Both burgers were substantial in size however the brioche buns were soggy and everything just collapsed making it impossible to eat on the move The large dirty fries again Chils over cooked and crunchy and within 5 mins were stone cold Sorry guys, first visit won't turn Into a second if that what almost £30 worth of takeaway gets me. Shoestrings just down the road twice as tasty for half the price (please note we have no ties to either restaurant)

Fantastic that we finally have a good quality burger place in Chippenham! All the food was hot, Delicious and was cooked quickly! All ingredients tasted super fresh and wasn't like the normal rubbish you get from other places . Ice gem lettuce not that shredded rubbish, lovely fresh tomato, good sauce and well seasoned chicken made up my SFC - The beef burger we had was just as good quality, along with the chicken tenders which 9 for £6 were an absolute must have! All the staff were lovely and friendly, it felt like i had just popped round a mates for tea rather than walking in a burger bar! Overall Very Very Very impressed! Best of luck to the owner and keep up the good work! i will defiantly be back in again!

New to the area and tried a takeaway here and it was very average. Not the worst but definitely not the best. Bland food and the lady taking our order didn’t appear to know what she was doing. Get 10% off cash collections though so all in all ok but will be trying somewhere else next time.

Never order from here. I placed an order at 12:31(Lunch time) and was told no driver will come to collect your food until 4pm. Called multiple times and have never come across such unhelpful and rude people in a work place. At 1:09pm I was lied to by the workers (who refused to give there name) and was told they found a driver and food is on it ways, this did not happen. I called back at 2:07pm and was told that my food will not be coming until a driver collects at 4pm, I told the worker that this unacceptable and his response to this was to hang up on me. I tried to call back multi times but had no response. At 2:27pm I had a call back from the worker telling me your food will be coming soon, I feel this was only done as I threatened to report the worker to someone higher up in Papa Johns on the 2:07pm call, on that same call I asked for workers name again and worker refused to give it so I said I will be coming to the shop to find it out myself. Only then did they send out my food, and once the food arrived I realised they forgot my dip which cost 0.79p, my halloumi fries were cold and horrible as well. I have never had such a bad experience with a fast food company in my entire life. If you’re reading this I highly suggest not ordering any food from here. 1 week later I have had a call from papa johns asking me to remove the review as it looks bad for them, awful company never buy from here

Terrible service, pizza is always over an hour late and when you call to ask how much longer the driver has always conveniently "just the left" and then it takes an other 30 on top even though the drive is less than 30 mins. The excuses are always the same we were busy and the traffic. It's now nearly 10pm at night there's no traffic just lies on top of lies. Furthermore there's ALOT of fake reviews.

Gutted that they no longer give you the garlic butter with the pizza, it was the only reason I ordered from here instead of dominos. Pizza was luke warm and donuts were cold and hard in the middle (not oozing like the photo suggests...). I probaby won't order here again.

Extremely long wait times. They mark the delivery as completed at least 20 minutes before it arrives. Called to ask when the food will be here was told 10 minutes. Called again 15 minutes later to be told it's just left and will be 3 minutes. When it does finally arrive it's cold and the order is wrong. Complete waste of time. There needs to be tighter rules and regulations on these franchises. Edit: 9 months later decided to try again. I regret my decision. Still well over an hour for delivery of cold pizza. Branch always says it's on the way. Scrolling through reviews to see many many obviously fake reviews.

I wouldn't waste your time. While the food was fresh, it had no seasoning, not even garlic! The BBQ sauce was clearly out of a pot and was still terrible. My 2 stars are for service and freshness, or at least tasted fresh. Everything else is lacking

I ordered roast duck and chicken satay. I have no idea what chicken dish I was given, but it wasn’t chicken satay. It had cucumber and slimy mushrooms in it, both of which I dislike. Would never order a dish with those ingredients and don’t know how they confused that with satay. There wasn’t a lot of duck and what ducks there was was not crispy and had small fragments of bone it it. There was barely any spring onion, just big chunks of cucumber (which I don’t like). Awful. I didn’t have time to contact and get a new delivery as I’m off out. I’m staying in a hotel hence the delivery. I’d never order from here again. However, the delivery was prompt and the driver courteous.

Food was awful the crispy chilli beef I couldn't even chew and was soggy not crispy, have always had great meals from here but after last night's I will be going elsewhere.

My first time having Chinese from here and it was tasty and fresh, however I was disappointed by the chilli and salt chips, they didn’t have a lot of flavour to them and quite bland.

Lovely coffee shop! It looks very clean and tidy, the coffees were great! We got a macchiato and a latte. The cakes were amazing as well. Staff is nice too! Wanted to try the peach coffee from the summer menu but it was not available when we came unfortunately..! Will definitely visit again though!

Loved our Sangria class! It was really generous with lovely canapes and a great selection of ingredients to choose from. Bryan made everyone feel very welcome and have some very useful tips. Delicious!

We attended the sangria workshop and it was a fun, small group of people. Learnt that one of my mixtures was good and the other two not so good. Highly recommend attending a class.

Stumbled upon this pleasant - slightly hidden - venue in search of a light lunch. We felt the food was nice but not hugely memorable, except for the ultimate brownie, which we definitely recommend and would order again. Service was friendly but bit mixed, part of our drinks order got forgotten and there was a lot of - to us seemly unnecessary - confusion when we reminded the staff about it. Would visit again.

We attended a wine tasting session led by Bryan. As usual, it was very popular and hugely informative. The canapés/nibbles with each wine were exceptional and to share the experience with friends was a great pleasure.

We are Thais and we can say for sure that this place is very authentic. We went there for a quick lunch before catching a bus to another city. They are very attentive and helpful in accommodating our request in such limited time. We really enjoy the food and the service and would definitely return if we happen to be in the area. The price is bargaining. Just a small note: we found the dishes a little sweeter than our preference but it is more of a personal preference. 😉

Highly recommend Thai restaurant. We went for lunch and got a Chicken Chow Mein noodle and a Jasmine Rice topped with Pork. Both were delicious and the portion size was just right. A slight relaxing background music just completed our lunch time 😊

This food is a comfort food for the rice lover. The food is great. You can enjoy eating even you are alone. They have a lots of choices. This is my personal selection of food which Id preferred everytime i will dine in. Tom yum soup is superb also.

We really enjoyed our visit to The Kitchen for a scrumptious brunch. There were some unusual options to choose from, and the smoked salmon served on buttery sourdough and soft, light scrambled egg was delicious. My partner had the breakfast burrito, packed with pastrami, slaw, spinach and pepper - more like a hearty lunch but works as a brunch too. The service was great, atmosphere relaxing and would highly recommend.

My son and I decided to have lunch here today, and we were not disappointed! The service was excellent, and the gentleman poured our cola for us. We felt like royalty. Plus, the cola was organic and tasted great. We were spoilt for choice with the number of sandwiches they had to offer. They were exquisite, towering and bursting with fillings. We had two deli mains and a starter. The salmon was particularly good and the poboy was authentic. Coffee from coffee gems is always 5* This is a great place to have in Chippenham.

The atmosphere is lovely and the food and wine selection refreshing. It’s nice to finally have a place in Chippenham where there is variety and which feels homely and casual without compromising on quality. You can tell the owners and staff put their heart in what they do. Niamh who served us was lovely! Wish there were French baguettes, but the whole place is the closest thing to French art-de-vivre I have found in a while!

Had lunch yesterday and was absolutely blown away by the food quality. Truly formidable! I ordered the quiche and a serrano sandwich and it was incredibly flavourful, bursting with freshness. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an exceptional and easy meal.
