Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Zandvoort

Our group of three visited Bokkendoorns last Friday for dinner.  Sadly, our experience was extremely sub-par. First, the food was excellent.  Easily 5-Stars.  Everything was incredible as to be expected. However, the service was just not good and really hurt the overall experience. Initial drink order: They don't offer a wine pairing, so we asked for recommendations on what works with the first course.  Our server just asked, "Do you like red or white?"  We said we don't care, just recommend what works.  The server simply had no idea what to suggest and there was no sommelier on staff. Amuse-bouche: We had a food allergy and pescetarian in our group.  Oddly enough, the amuse-bouche was delivered with the one food allergy ingredient for one of the guests and meat for the pescatarian.  Not a huge deal by any means, and they fixed it right away, but this is typically something that shouldn't happen in a place like this. Subsequent drink order:  On our next drink order, we asked for recommendations on what type of wine to order for pairing purposes and a different server had the same response of simply asking if we like red or white instead of suggesting something that goes with the meal. Table Cleanliness:  They brought bread for the table, which was great, however crumbs get everywhere with bread.  Nobody came by to swipe the crumbs until the very end of the meal.  Again, not a big deal to me, but it's that extra touch to be expected from a Michellin two-star establishment. Final Drink order and Bill:  Towards the end of the meal, we sat for at least 10-15 minutes with empty glasses before someone came by for drink orders.  It was really odd how something like empty glasses can be overlooked several times by employees walking by our table.  Then once our meal was over, it took a really long time to get our bill. Overall, it was just somewhat of a cold experience from a service standpoint in every aspect.  I've always been "Wowed" at the level of service from Michellin starred restaurants, but this definitely was not on point or on the same level.

Had a great evening. Atmospheric place, excellent and pleasant service, and of course fantastic food. The only thing I missed was a wine pairing. They explained why they don’t offer it, but personally I prefer not having to think about the wine selection myself. And it does push the costs up, which are already substantial. 😊

We had the 7 course menu - well worth the two Michelin star. Great attention to details, beautiful plated and the food was exquisite. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back!

Two star Michelin restaurant that absolutely deserves its rating! A gastronomic delight. We had an amazing 7 course menu with wine pairing that was out of this world. The staff were so attentive to our every need and were so knowledgeable about the menu and the sommelier regaled us with details of the wines we enjoyed. One of the best dining experiences of my life.

A ok two stars Michelin restaurant. Food is delicious and delicate. Very good service, staffs are polite and helpful. The environment is relaxing and with a beautiful view facing a lake. Outside seating is nice with the sun shining, the interior inside is elegant and classic, comfortable seats to enjoy the meals. Toilets are clean and super modern. Yet, for the value of money, we expect better bread and butter, maybe because we have had better homemade bread and nicely prepared herbal butter in other normal restaurants before.

The perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. The staff are excellent, very attentive and genuinely friendly. We had the tasting menu with the accompanying wine and it was fantastic! The crab was a particular highlight along with so many of the sauces accompanying every dish! They leave a small amount on the table and some bread if you would like to have more sauce! The wines were all very interesting and one of the best combinations I've had. As it was our anniversary (and perhaps because I was in a kilt and my wife in her wedding dress) we received a small gift from the kitchen.

Even though the taste and quality of the food was excellent, there was a human hair in our dish. When we complained, we didn’t even get a small refund or “drink on the house” etc. Instead we even heard the waiter laughingly telling the cook about the hair. For a high class restaurant like this, we would have expected e different behavior. Nevertheless the atmosphere was great and the taste of the food outstanding.

A relaxed, cozy, romantic little restaurant with an authentic vibe mixing modern European dishes with classic French. Don’t plan to rush in & out, the service takes its time but for us was well worth it. Delicious, rich plates that were hearty and refined. Highly recommend the coq au vin, the fries(!!), French onion soup, lobster bisque. What a gem here in Zandvoort!

I went there because of the Shrimps, and it was worth it! It was also recommended by the gentleman at the restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The service was very friendly.. which is something to appreciate. I recommend ordering the chocolate mousse as a dessert, it was one of the best I've had so far.

I came to this restaurant for the second time with my family, I was disappointed and I will never go back. I ordered llama bones, which were like rubber, when I told the waiter that they were like rubber, he smiled and left, as if to let you know your problems, and the most shocking thing was that they charged me for what I didn't eat. Also, the chicken liver with glazed apples was something terrible, it was half green, it made me sick. I will not recommend it! Shame.Good luck to you!

Really nice French bistro style food, a slightly high price tag, but as an experience as a whole more than worth it. Especially compared to the rest of the options in the area.

Excellent French Restaurant in Zandvoort! We have the bisque soup, ravioli, beef and confit de canard. All dishes were excellent. Service quick and attentive. Vibe serine and eclectic. Hight recommend!

Very very slow, so don’t come here if you have a somewhat tight schedule and want to do more during the day than sit there and wait. In my case, felt like the locals were served with priority. Food was ok, but overpriced. Staff was friendly.

Have returned a year later and was very excited to return because we enjoyed it last year but feel that the prices have escalated and service not as good. I had a fresh mint tea that the cup was only half full and was charged 8 euros because I asked for some extra hot water. For goodness sake, the cup was not full to start with and so i asked for more boiling water. I was not impressed. It is just mint and water. And they didn’t even put in fresh mint. Very disappointed.

The service was long, too long, while there were very few people. Good meal but too expensive for what it is. No cutlery, we are supposed to eat with our fingers!!!! Even tissues were of no use to us. The bread is hard as a rock. The restaurant is well located. The waitress is very friendly.

We had such a lovely evening here on a rainy day. Owners were so nice, warm and welcoming. Our dog had a broken paw and they took great care of it and gave it water. Nice spot on a lovely square for people watching. Great menu, great drinks, great service, great location, highly recommend!

Enjoyed a perfect dinner!On a Tuesday in an almost full restaurant. The pasta with gamba's was mouthwatering. Great amount of food pricewise.Lovely ladies in the service who made a great atmosphere. Would definitely come back.

I visited this restaurant with my friends, hoping for a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, my excitement turned into disappointment when our food arrived. My pasta was drenched in an excessive amount of oil, which made the dish nearly inedible. To make matters worse, my friend's fries was accompanied by an unwelcome guest – a fried fly resting on the plate. It was evident that hygiene is not a priority at this establishment. When we brought up the issue of the fly in our meal, the response was far from satisfactory. The restaurant's attempt to rectify the situation was feeble, as they merely removed the cost of a bottle of water from the bill. Shockingly, we were still expected to pay for the contaminated food that had clearly fallen below even the most basic hygiene standards. In my attempt to express my dissatisfaction, I approached another staff member. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, she became unexpectedly confrontational. With an aggressive demeanor, she snatched the receipt from my hand, leaving me feeling uneasy and apprehensive. It was a truly uncomfortable encounter that left me fearing for further escalation. To add insult to injury, the compensation offered was a mere 4.5 euros – a gesture that felt more like charity than a genuine attempt to acknowledge their mistakes. This experience has left an indelible mark on me, and I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this restaurant to anyone. The lack of hygiene and the discourteous behavior displayed by the staff are clear indicators that this establishment falls far short of acceptable standards.

Absolutely worst breakfast one can have in zaandvort. I came here in hopes of good food by looking at the 4.7 star rating on google maps and here's what I got: Half a scrumbled egg. Cold coffee. Three pieces of extra thin cheese And bread. And guess what? This costs 15 euros here! Such a disappointment for dutch culture. The waiter was a super rude teenager that did not care about us. Just wanted to get done. Every time we called her, she gave us a look as though she doesn't want to care at all. The food took 30 minutes to prepare! Take a look at the picture! That took 30 minutes to prepare! Absolute disappointment. I do not recommend any sane and self-aware human to come here.

This used to be my favorite place at the beach for almost 4 years, but gradually quality and portions is going down and prices up. For exampel: In 2023 soups were flavourful and filling, now in 2024 it’s just salty bolw of brown with 2 pieces of shrimp and cheapest bread slices. It used to be reliable with opening 365days a year to the public. All comfy seats are turned into tables - i get it, more turn around… I’d rather pay for quality.

Nice staff. But the amount of options for a vegetarian are extremely limited. Portion sizes are ridiculously small compared to non vegetarian options. The roman salad (which is supposed to me a main) is literally a big leaf of lettuce with dressing. Must admin, big leaf of lettuce, but still, one leaf of lettuce. My advise, create some variety in your menu also for people who choose not to eat meat and fish.

Nice restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. Perfect place to get cozy after a winter walk on the beach in front of one of many fireplaces (also outside).

Average food, poor service. There was not enough staff to service the restaurant, so we were moved from inside to outside. We went there for the pizza, however we were informed 5 minutes after ordering that there was no pizzas today. Every time I placed an order, I woke up from my table and went to the waitress - it was the only way to get attention.

We were seated by a staff member, then had to wait 15 minutes for someone else to take our order only to find out from a third worker that the kitchen had just(!) been closed. Ridiculous service. This was a Saturday night at 8:30pm by the way.

The food was really good but the restaurant was a little small, tables crowded everywhere, you could hear the other people talking next to you. The waiters only speak English, which is fine, but I would expect that they would speak Dutch.

Definitely a good choice if you’re up for some good Italian food when you’re in Zandvoort. Everything is fresh, the pasta is home made and the pizza’s are absolutely great (good dough that has been risen for 12 hours). Tip: with pizza’s you also have the option to get ‘black dough’ with activated charcoal. It’s a nice gimmick, but I personally wouldn’t recommend it. As for desert, I can recommend the Tiramisu (home made). The Dame Blanche and Lemon Cake are decent but nothing special.

First of all I Had metal-screw in my Lasagna... Otherwise the food and the place were allright. A Bit odd was that the waiter asked me If i wanted to keep eating the Lasagna after i told him about the screw. In the end i did Not have to pay the Lasagna.

Great food and service at this Italian place. There are gluten free pasta options and they have a special pasta parmiagano dish which they make at your table. Highly recommended.

Great food, normal prices, nice waiters. Eat here if you want to eat more quietly than the main street.

Very kind people with experience in italian food as in service. Kind and helpful but overall, masters in handling food and preparing deliciousness. I highly recommend.

Wonderful atmosphere and tasty food.. Excellent service too

We visited for a Valentine’s Day dinner and were seated on high chairs at a large shared table. We were informed that only a set menu was available, with no à la carte options. While the vibe was charming with roses and live music, the volume was a bit overwhelming. Unfortunately, the food was average at best, and the €160 bill felt excessive for such a mediocre dining experience.

Very bland eggs(smells good though) and it takes super long. Also ordered carpaccio sandwich. Lemonade tastes very artificial. Nothing impressive, just another meal for us. I can understand this might be the quality that the restaurant is trying to offer, therefore I would just say it’s just a wrong restaurant choice from our side.

I had lunch by myself on a sunny Sunday, I was sitting outside. Really nice ambience and background music. The only waitress working was super professional and I never had to wait for anything. I had the salad with the salmon and tuna sashimi and I loved the salmon! It tasted amazing! Also the wine I had with it was really nice, I am so sorry I forgot the name! :) Best part for me: I asked for a cocktail with passion fruit and what I got was really nice and kind of unique for me. It tasted really good, I will come back for that! Yes is a bit pricey, but the quality of the food and service is great!

Ordered 2 burgers. They arrived totally undercooked (dangerous). We asked for them to be fixed. The waitress went into detail telling us that the burgers had been taken out & cooked more (ew - why not use new ones?!), but that the buns & salad had been replaced. 🤷‍♀️This photo shows what came back the SECOND time! No difference!! Disgusting. Had to pay full price (they were about €23 each!). Unprofessional restaurant. On the plus side the salmon was nice. V small portion & not teriyaki as advertised. Aperol spritz was bland. Chips - huge bowl, very crispy. Not great. Would not recommend people to go here.

Absolutely delicious. Underrated restaurant. We stayed on the Sushi side and were pleasantly surprised. The - usually simple - Edamame were extremely tasty, served warm, with oil, lemon flavour, salt & pepper. Great! All three kinds of Sushi had a special touch, a finesse to it. Delicious. Not to forget a really great wine. An oasis in a town focused on tourists. Do not miss the chance to have some great food.

Beautiful restaurant / bar in the heart of Zandvoort. The service was extremely friendly and courteous 👍🏼 We had no food, but very good cocktails! There was fantastic live music in this evening 💃🏼

So sad. The interior looks quite nice and in combination with the prices for the dishes this seemed to be a high quality spot for dining. But we would not recommend this place, cause several things happened: The waitress served the wrong drinks twice and told us, that she write it down right, but her colleagues gave her the wrong ones (not that funny if you want alcohol free and get it with alcohol instead). A friend ordered meatballs. She came back several minutes later and told him that today they only got vegan meatballs. He said he didn't want them anymore. She wanted someone else of us to take them instead, but no one wanted which seemed a but annoying for her. I got sushi and the preparation took about half an hour. I waited for the others to get the burgers, but even after 15 more minutes they were not ready and also in the kitchen Noone was working any more. We asked when the order would be made. They noticed a mistake and the boss told us, that the dishes would all be standing on the table in 5-10 minutes. In total we had to wait 21 more minutes and very sadly the burgers were a bit small and also the quality and taste was not worth the high price. So sad cause we came there to have a mice evening with a bigger group and it ended with us all very very hungry (waiting for about 1,5 hours for burgers and fries).

A true gem in Zandvoort! From the moment you walk in, you feel genuinely welcomed. Martha, the owner, is incredibly warm and attentive – her hospitality turns the meal into a truly special experience. The authentic Greek atmosphere feels like a little trip to Greece, almost like being in Meteora! The food was fresh, delicious, and made with love. If you enjoy Greek cuisine and are looking for an evening with heart and soul, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!

Always great food at Marthas! She is generous with portions. The staff is always smiling and willing to take questions and help in case of special requests (I am lactose intolerant). We always go with the family and feel personally taken care of. Eventhough the place is loaded with customers- Martha and staff will make time. Reserve in the weekend or it will be full!!

This place is incredible. Its Greek run and owned. The food is very similar to the food you would get in Greece. I live in Toronto, Canada, and they don't make food like this over there. I highly recommend this place.

Heerlijk familie restaurant. Grilled Meat was lovely juicy. Our dogs were welcome. Though it was quite busy, they took their time for a friendly conversation. Enjoyed my time at this restaurant

What a fantastic find whilst out in Zandvoort. The restaurant offers classic Greek food whilst offering a modern and vibrant environment. The food portions are really good and the staff provide an excellent service. Would recommend on a visit.

Wow, I am blown away at the quality of Thai food here in Zandvoort. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection, and beyond delicious. We ordered the chicken pad Thai, the noodles were perfectly al dente. We got the shrimp with cashew, the sauce was so delicious I wanted to drink it. And lastly, the stir fry beef with mint and lemongrass, it had the perfect kick to it. If I’m ever in Zandvoort again, I would definitely come back here. The menu was small but each dish is authentic and tasty. 5 stars !

If you’re in Zandvoort and have a craving for Asian food, you must go to Bandai Thai

I had an enjoyable meal here with a nice selection of dishes available. For me the dishes were a little over oily which had they beens less oily would have been superb. Maybe it was our choices. Overall though service excellent and a good restaurant for a good meal

What should I say? It was just perfect. Asian restaurants in the Netherlands are in general just so much better than in Germany. Food tastes pretty much like in the countries where the food is originally from. We went here Friday night shortly after we arrived in Zandvoort. Ordered the spicy Beef Salad as an Appetizer. That one was just the most perfect and authentic taste I ever had far away from Thailand. Absolutely loved it! Even my friend who never had proper Thai food before liked it. She isn't used to eat spicy but did a good job. In case you can't eat spicy please skip this one. For the main courses we ordered the Shrimps which Cashew which aren't spicy at all. I just wanted to make sure my friend will be fine. The taste was on point. The Shrimps were big and perfectly cooked/friend through. Plus we ordered the Penang Curry with Chicken. I personally missed some Veggies and some spicy taste here. (Just because I recently came back from Thailand 🇹🇭) but the taste itself was fantastic too. I really loved the food. Even though it's a bit pricey (paid 80€) it is a very nice place. The owner is such a lovely guy. Plus the decoration is mostly from Thailand/Asia. I really loved this place.

Our rating 3,8. We had the 5 course meal. Everything was tasty and the service was really good. The Sushi was good , but the best part were the meat/shrimps. If u look for a cozy eve with good food and drinks-zizo might be your choice.

Nice Restaurant, the vibe is chill, the music selection is amazing and the view onto the sea is good. Drinks are nicely prepared. Food took too long. We waited over an hour after ordering while people who showed up 30min after us received their food already. The staff also leaves something to be desired as we had to "fight" for attention. But as soon as we had said attention the staff was nice. Prices are over all valid.

What I encountered at Zizo Sushi Lounge was not a dining experience, but a baffling, elongated ballet of organizational decay. Upon arrival, the staff executed a perplexing pantomime with the menus, placing one for my companion’s phantom presence—a curious, almost existential insult to the reality of the seated diner. Then began the true spectacle: the excruciating deceleration of service. Thirty minutes passed before the slightest acknowledgment of thirst was made, and a full hour elapsed—a measurable fraction of one’s lifespan—before we were permitted to commit our food order to paper. This is not a waiting time; it is an act of deliberate, maddening suspense. Furthermore, the sonic environment was a cacophony of crude manipulations. The music was pitched at a decibel level clearly designed to compel conversation into shouting and thirst into reckless consumption. Worse, however, was the selection's amateurish presentation: the tracks were not allowed to conclude with dignity, but were violently truncated mid-phrase, giving the distinct, pathetic impression that the establishment was operating on a pirated loop of previews—sound reduced to a series of abrupt, unfinished gestures. The low point, however, was not the wait, but the bureaucratic cruelty that followed. Seventy minutes into this involuntary fast, before a single morsel had been presented, we were informed that the kitchen was performing its final rites and that any further consumption must be immediately quantified. To ask a starving patron, currently staring into the abyss of an empty, future-less plate, to predict their eventual satiety is a procedural absurdity that transcends mere poor judgment. When the sushi finally appeared at the ninety-minute mark, it was less a meal and more a hostage negotiation. The flavor was secondary to the sheer, desperate relief of the cessation of waiting. And what was this flavor? A crushing disappointment. The food itself was a culinary non-event: the fish and sauce were so utterly neutralized that all one could discern was the faint, starchy presence of the rice alone. This is not sushi; it is a flavorless carbohydrate delivery system, a testament to the kitchen’s refusal to engage with the very essence of its craft. I noted, with a mixture of disgust and resignation, the pallid, greasy sheen of the cutlery resting on the table—a clear symbol that the establishment views hygiene as an optional flourish. That we resorted to chopsticks was not a choice of tradition, but a necessary retreat from the visible vulgarity of the provided tools. In this landscape of organizational collapse, one single, almost accidental, stray spark of competence was detected: my companion's cocktail, a composition of Prosecco, citrus sorbet, and vodka. It was bright, complex, and irreverent. A single flicker of culinary genius in a vast, self-imposed darkness. The final, unforgivable gesture of this two-hour ordeal was the revelation of the establishment’s sheer operational duplicity. After the humiliating command to place a "last round" order because the kitchen was closing, we departed only to observe additional, freshly-seated guests being presented with menus. The kitchen was not closed; it was merely selectively unavailable. This is not incompetence; it is chaos dressed as policy. Zizo Sushi Lounge has managed the truly difficult feat of not merely failing, but of desecrating a favorable memory. It is a profound disappointment, having descended from a prior standard into this current state of culinary purgatory. For those who enjoy having their time wasted and their expectations methodically dismantled, Zizo is highly recommended. For everyone else, find a more urgent form of oblivion.

The best family-run restaurant in Zandvoort! Perfect for lunch and dinner, offering amazing fish dishes like zeetong and the delicious "Andrea" recipe: meat with cheese and tomatoes. Their pizzas and coffee are also excellent. Fantastic quality and atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We chose this Italian restaurant out of the many Italian restaurants in Zandvoort based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. The pizza was tasty. The tomato soup was nice and tangy, also came with a good portion of bread. We asked for mozzarella only pizza and they delivered! Tasty! 🍕

Beautiful location in zandvoort city It was such a pleasure! Foods and Drinks were perfect!! 10/10!! You can feel the joy and passion of the owners. The calmness of dutch combined with the loving & passionate manners of italian people makes this restaurant a beautiful place to be. We‘ll definitely come back here. deciduous fish soup! Great day in Zandvoort

The Service is good. We ordered some Pizza, me and 2 friends. It was okay, but I wouldnt visit the Restaurant again because of the Pizza. In addition, it was kinda expensive too.

We come here often after a day of photography in de AWD. The food is alright. You have less to choose from in the morning until lunch. But enough to choose from from lunch to closing time. The food that I had in the past was okay. The burger is nice. Also pancakes are large enough for most ( I need at least two after a day of strolling through the dunes ) The variety of pancakes is massive. So no complaints here. If you go with a larger group ( say 20 persons ) you can reserve tables. The staff however is not always representative. For instance...you get your coffee and pancakes on the table from one person...with nothing said! While the other waiter is very polite and says " enjoy the food" and regularly asks if she can get us anything else. ( I think it's an age thing ) The place itself has a vibe...but the owner does not maintains the building very well....and that sometimes kills the vibe. I will come here again....just for the sake of convenience ( is close to the entrance/exit of the AWD )

I always come here to eat pancakes. For me, the best pancakes in Zandvoort. The location itself gets a bit cold in winter, the atmosphere (probably bc of the way the building is cut) is a bit off. Outside seating is wayyyyy better! So go here during the high season for sure!

Food was very good, prices were very reasonable, no draft beer but we enjoyed our visit

My daughter loves pancakes, i'm not particularly fond of them. However, this is the first time i was the one who wanted to come back here. We had apple/ raisin for the girls and i had the Greek pancake. Both were absolutely delicious! done to perfection, crispy but not burnt. Not too thick, as most Dutch pancakes usually are, so the ratio of batter to apple was perfect. Also with Greek pancake, some of the ingredients were inside the pancake, but a lot of others were presented on the side. This was great and made for a much better experience then just cramming everything in the pancake! Recommend 100% with or without children.

A great place to relax after a walk in the dunes. Beautiful location and friendly staff. However I wasn’t impressed by the food. Ordered a cheese and mushroom pancake that had no flavour except for a greasy burned aftertaste. Drink was somewhat overpriced.

Wonderful place. Nice staff, good pancakes (Red Velvet is amazing!), little pricey (10€ for the red velvet or bacon/cheese/potato) but very good and many varieties. I'll come back.

Mel's pinxtos &winebar is great...a real gem in Zandvoort. Great pinxtos and good wine selection. Awesome service. With just the two of them they manage the place very efficiently. Their wine station allows for blends which is great... A must visit if staying or visiting Zandvoort.

Amazing location at Zandvoort. Super nice scenery and very helpful staff. Food was good but (my kibbeling) was a bit small plate for the 22 euro 50. It's the nowadays price and you also enjoy the whole view but it feels a little bit overpriced. Next time i try something else and we go for the 5 star experience 😀

My friends and I went to grab a coffee here while we spend the day in Zandvoort. It's really nice to sit outside when the sun is out. The coffee was a solid coffee from a machine, so nothing fancy. The view on the beach and ocean is nice though. A friend of mine got the pancakes and in my opinion 12 euros for 3 pancakes and some blueberries is a bit too much.

We hosted a company event at Strandpaviljoen Thalassa. The food was overall at a very high level, fresh, high-quality, and really tasty. The burgers were good, but nothing special. The service was friendly, though it could be a bit quicker and more attentive. All in all, a great location and a wonderful evening, with a bit more focus on service, it would be perfect.

A great place for breakfast, location and views . 2 x eggs Benedict, very tasty and filling for us. The coffee unfortunately was from a machine and terrible .the tea came out in a glass with no handle and boiling hot water in it which made the glass extremely difficult to handle. Had to get it in a take away cup. Also there was no offering of milk with the tea .

Fantastic location with great views of the sea, outside seating for drinks and great food. Loads of gluten free options so a coeliac friendly place. The sole and cod (sliptong en kabeljauw) were fresh and delicious. Menu in Dutch, German and English available. Highly recommend this place!

I at and Max gave us great service and the food was amazing.. Would recommend that travelers to Amsterdam take a ride out to Zandvoort and enjoy some wonderful fresh fish or great steaks and the beauty of the beach ! Fantastic .. I for one will be back and it’s a long way from Colorado !

So, we are apparently the second American family that has eaten here and I have to say our fellow Americans are missing out! This family owned restaurant was amazing from start to finish. The beef carpaccio was perfectly prepared. The French onion soup, delectable. Our waiter Ivar, and the son of the owner, was one of the best we have experienced. He had a room full of patrons by himself and he was spot on with recommendations, service and personality! We had the sea bass, the ravioli, the salmon, the burger and the tournados. All were amazingly prepared. To top it all off, we finished with the most delicious homemade tiramisu that we have ever tasted. And, we got to experience this wonderment while relaxing with an amazing view of the sunset. Don’t miss out!! Get out of Amsterdam and come to the coast! The train ride was easy from Amsterdam Centraal!

We had a lovely dinner at this beach club. The view was amazing and dinner was served fast. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We were there for breakfast and the whole thing seemed a bit unorganised. They only told us when we ordered that they are out of eggs although most of the breakfast options contain eggs. At least they made it up with smoked salmon on the breakfast platter. In Total the platter was fine and worth the money. Sadly there was hair sticking to the cheese slices. And although there were at least three people working and only four tables occupied, service was pretty slow and and unenthusiastic. We spent half of the breakfast watching seagulls pull apart the jelly packages that were left behind by other costumers while none of the staff seemed to care about cleaning the table.

Had a lovely dinner with my friend over here. I had ordered a Tuna Steak and my friend had a steak both dishes where delicious and value 4 the money. The place could be made more accessible 4 someone in a wheelchair,the bumps where a bit on the high side. Overall would recommend to have dinner here once !

We had our wedding here, the full day from the ceremony to cake then dinner and a smashing party to close the day. From planning to execution, everything was very easy with clear communication. All the food was great, however the bbq and the salmon in particular were next level. Very helpful every step of the way in planning. Service on the day amazing, all guests had the best time. Absolutely 100% recommend, for a nice meal at the beach or whatever event you want to host.

If you want nice views to the sea, that's all you can get in this place. The service was non existence to the point of being ignored when talking directly to one of the waiters. It lacked friendliness, education, attention and respect. Basically all you want when enjoying some drinks/dinner. Drinks unfortunately were disappointed for the entire group and pricey for the quality.

Tonight, my French friends and I went to a beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and the owner was very welcoming and attentive. The server was patient and eager to help. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. I want to say thank you so much for being so Nice.

Walking around Zandvoort and the owner (Flor) just sells us on his place and pulls us in hahah. That's how you get diners! Ha! Anyhow, we're glad we did the food was excellent. It tasted home style and clean. Service was great and if we're ever back in Zandvoort we'll go back. The potatoes and cauliflower were delicious!

We were in town for a Spartan Race. We wanted some local seafood and our AirBnb host recommended this place. Too much fried food, but it was all very yummy nonetheless. The owner was wonderfully friendly and the service incapable.

We had the opportunity to eat at Meerpal Zandvoort yesterday. It is a small fish restaurant owned by a family. Sea food and fish was great. Service staff was lovely and fast however gentleman owner of the restaurant had a very unpleasant vibe which made us felt very unwelcome although we had a reservation. Hope he would not make others feel this way in the future. Thanks again for great food!

Took my mum out to dinner here 23/5/19, we had a lovely meal. The owner was welcoming, friendly and helpfull. The menu was large without being overcomplicated. We really liked the authentic decor and atmosphere. But most important of all the food was briliant! From the fresh homemade dips that came with the bread, to the crab and prawn cocktail starter to our mains of Sole and stewed eal. Would highly recommend, and I`m highly likely to visit again.

Great diversity of fresh fish. Either a menu or the platter to share. But not only the food is wonderful, but so is the staff. Very friendly, attentive (and multilingual if you need it). Would go again!

Had our Saturday night dinner here. We just booked a table online on the website, which was very easy. Ordered a big mixed meat platter, a Greek salad, baked Feta and some Tzatziki to share. Didn't expected the bread and fries as sides. So in total you can easily skip one of the Appetizers. (Just because it was more than enough food) Taste was really good. Not the best Greek food I ever had but still a very solid and good restaurant! Service was very nice but a little stressed because it was very busy.

Don’t look further: go to this place! 😊 We really really enjoyed our delicious dinner, the hospitality and kindness of the staff and the cosiness of the restaurant. 10/10 would recommend! We loved the feta, grilled bread with tzatziki and salmon.

The atmosphere was nice and warm, waiter and waitresses are very polite and welcoming. Food was nice however may be slightly less seasoned but the tiramisu and bread paste for the bread was superb! Recommend giving them a try if you're around.

Been there during the F1 Dutch GP Weekend, preferably call to book in advance but you can wait less than 10 min and having a table. Food 10/10, incredible service and ambience during the GP Weekend.

Overall a pretty nice experience topped with delicious food and solid service. We had pasta which was on point and delicious. The kids had Bolognese and Pesto Penne and ate all, which in itself is a recommendation :-)

When we arrived, unfortunately, there was no place to sit, but the waitress allowed us to sit outside. As soon as a table was free, she called us in, because it was getting cold. She was very lovely and easy-going! As for the food, it was really really good. We especially recommend onion soup and ribs!

We were excited to try de Meester given the high Google review average. While we were greeted in a very friendly manner and promptly seated in a friendly manner, we were sadly disappointed in the dishes we ordered. The schnitzel was not crispy and difficult to cut. The mushroom sauce had only a few small pieces of mushroom in it. The chicken thigh satay had a tasty sauce, but there was too much. I do not believe the thighs had been trimmed enough. The fondue was somewhat grainy but did have an ok flavor. We did like the fresh baguette and herbed butter a great deal. And, de Meester had nice atmosphere and cordial staff as previously mentioned. Perhaps just an off night.

Great food, good service and a lovely atmosphere. Owner was fantastic, good banter and fun to chat with. Had the four different cheese fondues after having a starter each. Very filling!

We had a great experience at Drank en spijslokaal "de Meester". My brother and I were there during the DTM2025. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is charming with a unique school-themed decor that adds a lot of character. We ordered the spare ribs and they were absolutely delicious - so tender they fell right off the bone. Highly recommended!

These are run of the mill options so you have to try to make them memorable and Haven did The bread was great, there was plenty of avocados and two eggs, for example This also makes it such a shame that they haven’t upped their coffee game. Their coffees are speciality coffee prices but come from the same machines they have at the Albert Heijn, with the same acid inducing tastes However, these are minor things in what is overall a lovely place to sit and enjoy the last sun before winter comes Very kid friendly and good vibes — keep in mind however that it will cost you an arm and a leg, we paid 65 for four breakfast dishes and some coffee

Great restaurant. selection of dishes on the menu is very diverse while retaining quality. Staff is very attentive & friendly and service was great. We were there during very bad weather after the dutch GP saturday but I would imagine the view to be superb with the sun out. Overall a 8.9/10 would visit again.

De Haven Zandvoort is a great breakfast spot if you’re visiting this charming city. Just a quick train ride from Amsterdam, Zandvoort is perfect for a day trip. The food here is tasty, the drinks are refreshing, and the beach view is incredibly relaxing.

A really nice place to spend your beachtime. It was busy, but service was good. Personel was polite, asked if everything was ok and prices are standard for Zandvoort. Glass of wine or rose is €6,95. We choose an italian wine which had excellent taste for this sunny day. Enjoyable beachchill music with pleasant surrounding, a real joy to spend some time, a bite or a drink.

The food was not something special. My fish was really burned outside ( the inside was very good but I need to take the skin out from a fried fish so many of the flavour was also there and i removed it with the skin 🙈 ) I had salsa as a salad 🥴 The service was great, the waitresses were all really nice and fast ☺️ The environment is a must there... we loved it 🥰 every single detail is awesome 😍

We had the best day of our lives thanks to hippie fish venue location. We found this location because we went to the restaurant and loved the delicious food the whole venue and the staff so we asked if they would also have a wedding venue. They did and it’s crazy how it was still in our budget and just a third of what you pay for a wedding in Germany! So in the beginning of October, we had our beach wedding and it was more perfect than we could’ve imagined. Starting from the whole organisation from the day we met with Iris and had our first plannings - how they were always just an email away and respond really quickly - how they took every one of our wishes, serious and made everything possible. All of our guests love the food and even the staff that took care of each and every single person. They acted so professionally in the background that we barely noticed anything and could 100% enjoy our big day. I would really recommend getting married on the beach at hippie fish to everyone and I’m gonna try and make my future kids marry here as well. It’s just like a dream come true. They also rent the venue for other events than weddings. They have a separate little location next to the restaurant for that. We will definitely be back many many more times for the good food and the beautiful location. Thank you so so much for everyone who was involved!

I had viewed and saved in the UK. For a nice day in late September it is perfect for my palate. Just tasted the Rocket fuel coffee. Orderd the fish and chips. Best home made Mayo I have ever had. Super lovely. Very chilled out place. Relaxing music. So hope to return, had food envy.

We visited Hippie Fish twice during our vacation to the Netherlands. The first visit was for lunch inside and the staff was super lovely! The second visit (because we obviously couldn’t stay away) was on a busy Saturday evening. We sat in the lounge area on the beach where you order online instead of having table service. The online ordering site was very user friendly and everything we ordered arrived impressively quickly, especially considering how busy they were. The food and drinks were amazing during both visits. I cannot recommend Hippie Fish enough - truly nothing but good vibes inside and out!

Nice place, very crowded when sunny (would recommend to reserve beforehand in summer). Food choices are good, drink choices even better. Staff are quite friendly, some might seem a bit ignorant: but an overall of 4.1/5 for it. Would love to see more umbrella in the future (we sat outside without umbrella as it is the available seating and got a bit burnt despite wearing sunscreen haha). Recommended for chill hangout!

Shell & Ferrari had the place booked for 3 days during the Dutch Heineken F1 GP. So we spent a lot of time in the beach house. Breakfast, Lunch , Dinner was all served by very professional staff members. Beautiful atmosphere and perfect spot facing the beach.

Agree with some of the other reviews that this is your average beach establishment. The food is good but don't expect five star cuisine. The staff are friendly but could be faster and more alert. We ordered two dishes and while my partner's dish arrived quite quickly, mine did not. I had to ask about it and apparently it had been ready for a while but they just forgot to bring it over. It seemed like they have a lot of new staff now after COVID so we will probably give this place another shot in the future.

Came here for a corporate event and was not disappointed. A short trip from Amsterdam for a place by the beach. Food and drinks were reasonably priced with a large space for presentations. Really enjoyed our time here as the perfect place to get out of the office. Highly recommend coming here for a time by the beach with the team or just a quick meal to enjoy the sea breeze

This beach bar restaurant is located in Zandvoort near the second parking lot (on the beach). The best part : the view and the bites / drinks. There are many different drink types and the bites are tasty. Especially the nachos and bitterballen mix. The view over the beach is open and a stone's throw from the ocean. The service is acceptable and friendly.

Visited in a 30°C July afternoon. Super nice atmosphere; prices are moderate! It’s funny because it felt like visiting some hot place like Ibiza while still in Netherlands!

Was okay, not worth the price. If I'm ordering fajitas for almost €30, I would expect a homemade tortilla, or at least an upper-range supermarket brand. But they serve the cardboard kind of tortillas, and they're not served or kept warm. The ribs were nice and the nachos were alright too, just a little bland. Staff wasn't attentive and seemed annoyed when we calmly tried to get their attention. (For clarity: eye contact, smile, light hand raise. We're not the finger-snapping kinds of people.) I had hoped it would have been better based on the reviews, but it is what it is. It is off-season, so perhaps that was the issue. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Excellent location with beautiful sea view. Lots of spots in shadow available. Good choice of food and drinks, prices are fair. Nice service but at times difficult to get their attention. Our bill was very incorrect adding more than 60 euro for food we did not have. The waiter quickly and without question removed the extra items, but if we did not look at the bill we could have easily overpaid. You need to pay to use the toilet 50 cent or 2 euro for day access.

Lovely beach bar near Amsterdam (30ish minutes away) with great prices for amazing food and even better drinks. Service was 10/10 as was the music and environment, will be back :)

The vibe of the place is nice, but don’t come for the food. The nachos “with everything” came with barely anything besides broken pieces of nachos, some cheese and 3 pieces of meat. Service can go both ways, it really depends on the specific staff person that tends to your table. On a positive note, the chicken wings were good.

Lekker food. Nacho’s had a lot of ingredients and tasty but the nachos themselves was not that great was a bit saai. The stuff is very nice and friendly. Good location as in close to parking at Dirk.

Delightful restaurant in pedestrian precinct. Great food. The calamars were delicious. The 300gm sole superb. Decor warm with video of open fire. Served by the charming Jennifer whose hair colour matches the interior design!

This place is lovely! It's maybe not quite that big, but you can choose to either sit inside or outside. Even without reservations, we got a table. People working there are very kind and forthcoming. We didn't wait too long for our food, which with the amount of guest at the moment, was great. The food was very delicious! I can only recommend this place!

Awful extremely expensive over priced small portions steak not cooked correctly and asked for plain burger no sauce just cheese and bacon tried a small portion but was horrible asked for money back but was told as we have tried it they can't would not recommend better places near by

Great pavilion on the beach with very nice and attentive staff. We were there for breakfast and on our last day for some drinks and really enjoyed it. The Esspresso Martini is highly recommended. Tent 6 is defenetely one of the best restaurants/bar at the beach and we will definitely be back!

Two stars for the location zero for everything else. The food is tasteless. The burger was ordered "well done" and they brought it medium, with no taste, no cheese, and not fresh onion..... the bread was not fresh too and all that with a price tag of 20€, I don't know for what, while better quality burger on some other place on the beach is cheaper and has amazing taste (not mentioning where, to not be considered a comment from a competitor business) The kids menu is very limited and the portion was not enough for a 5 year old kid. Only the beer was good 😊.

Disappointing Experience Overall I was thoroughly unimpressed with my visit. First and foremost, the service was incredibly poor — the staff came across as overly laid-back, unprofessional, and clearly lacking proper training. This immediately set the wrong tone. To make matters worse, the atmosphere was anything but relaxing. The music was blasted at an almost unbearable volume, creating a chaotic and stressful environment rather than a pleasant dining experience. The food did nothing to redeem the night. What arrived at the table was shockingly mediocre, and the menu itself was unimaginative and dull. With such uninspired dishes, it’s hard to believe any real thought went into it. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting good service, ambiance, or food.

Needs improvement! Place has a lot of potential, however the quality of food and staff are really disappointing. Had to wait 1 hour for coffee and water and food even longer. We were attended by many different waiters, think it would help to assign personnel to certain tables to avoid confusion with orders (like with ours). The prices of the food are high and not in line with portion size or quality. Crispy shrimps were cold, definitely not fresh or crispy. Luckily the fish was warm and flavorful. Hope to see it improve, but for now would not come back here.

“Beautiful Location, Disappointing Service and Food Standards” Republiek has one of the best locations you could wish for, right on the beach in Bloemendaal with a beautiful setting that promises a great start to the day. Unfortunately, the service and food quality don’t live up to the view. I visited with my girlfriend for breakfast. The restaurant was almost empty, so I expected attentive service. That was not the case. We ordered two croissant a la plancha, expecting warm, nicely prepared croissants as the name suggests. Instead, we received two regular croissants with ham and cheese – one of which even had a piece of plastic inside the ham. I immediately pointed it out to the food runner, who returned it to the kitchen. He did his part by apologizing and bringing a replacement, but the chef’s reaction was far from caring. In a restaurant, especially one that wasn’t busy, something like plastic in the food is a serious mistake that deserves proper attention and accountability. We ordered two more coffees and asked for the check. Surprisingly, there was no further apology, no gesture, and no sign that the incident was taken seriously. In short: Republiek offers a stunning location, but service and food control are lacking. A shame, because the potential here is huge – but as it stands, the experience doesn’t match the setting.

The look of this place is amazing!! The food is nice and on point when it comes to serving quality. Although the chicken dish from the people next to us needed a little bit more heat on the inside (but who am I to judge when it wasn't even my order) it all looked good. The portions are enough if you're not bulking food. Otherwise order extra. Service was kind and happy to help.

Perfect for a coffee, glass of wine, some bites and for soaking in the seaside atmosphere. The food is very good for a beach place! This is one of the main reasons to come to Zandvoort, for me as local 🤤🤤🤤 for over 45 years consistently the best dam. fries in the World, personal favorite the homemade sambal with mayonnaise !

Since 30 years my favorite Dutch fries snack shop. They have a special way to fry the fries which gives them the extra crispyness. The size and way the fries are cut gives a home cook flair and thus, it’s just an overall damn good experience. Of course, the whole shop just gives a vibe of ‚classic Dutch fries manufacturer‘ Approved by a Dutch guy living in Berlin 👍

These are the best fries I have ever eaten in my entire life. Crunchy and still a great taste of potatoes like it should be. Combined with the special sauce which is mayonnaise with a spicy onion sauce is extra awesome. All thumbs up!

Really good frittes, ideally salted and with enough sauce on top.

Definitely best Pommes frittes 100 miles around. The secret is: the potato and baking them 3 times. Enjoy outstanding Truffel Majonaise aside.

I had the pleasure of trying the famous Holland fries at a renowned spot in Zandvoort. These fries were absolutely delicious, and I can understand why this place is well-known for them. The quality of the potatoes and the crispiness of the Holland fries were outstanding. The portion size was generous, and the variety of dipping sauces made the experience even more enjoyable. In addition, they also served delightful bitterballen, croket, and cheese croket, which added to the overall culinary experience. I highly recommend stopping by this place for some of the best Holland fries and Dutch snacks you’ll ever have!

They need to be more specific about what their specials are. The menu said "salmon", not smoked salmon. I sent it back and got a ribeye steak (which was delicious). But still got charged for two meals. We had to ask for silverware (even after they brought our food). Never checked back. Food was good, but we won't return.

Well.. they need to improve. Prices is too high for this quality of food. Might be they was too busy by time we been there, but service was bit slow. Orange juice my wife get was mixed with water and sugar. Coffee was good 👍

A very great restaurant. Very nice waitresses. We had ordered the cheese fondue and Lady Toung. The fish was extremely tasty. The fondue was the most delicious fondue I've ever eaten. The location is great and you can enjoy the sunset with a coffee or wine in the evening. I would like to thank you for the nice atmosphere and for the great food and the nice service.

Great place to get away from the overcrowded beach and city center.

Just a nice place.... Why not? However, it's hard to get attention of waitresses....I wanted to eat but long time to take their attention... Moreover my orange juice had a mosquito.....not a big deal but take care..... English menu???? Really Dutch for forgeiners...

This is one of the best bars along the Zandvoort beach. Exceptionally, by the standards for some places here, the staff were most friendly and welcoming, so much so that I told them so and they were happy to hear it. The food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. The aioli was the best that I have ever tasted! Service was swift. We shall be back.

The “schnitzels” are really big and tasty. We even ordered one, which was not on the menu (with curry sauce) and it was great. The staff were very friendly. You need to check this place!

I had the Zwiebel Spies. It was absolutely delicious! My husband and I both lived the food and atmosphere. They were a little stingy with the Bacn Schnitzel (only two tiny pieces of bacon on the whole thing), but overall everything was great!

What a great find! We live in Haarlem and often miss good German schnitzel (grew up with Austrian heritage) and can’t believe it took us five years to realize this was only a few minute drive from us. Clean and cozy, and the schnitzel was beautifully breaded! We will be back!

The food was nice but the service has a lot to improve. Making the experience terrible. I sat at the couch and after 20 minutes waving and calling for the service I decided to go after the waiters. Finally ordered. The food and drinks came fast but everytime I wanted to order more I had to go after someone. A person next to me also had the same problem. The staff was walking around the restaurant doing things less more important than getting orders from the clients. The place was almost empty so I don't understand why the service was so bad. Would be nice to instruct the staff to pay a bit more of attention and make eye contact with the client. Even if they are busy, making eye contact it's a way to show that they know you are there and they will get you soon.

Quality is very good and the Sandwich delicious. The price is high but in this location probably normal.

Perfect place to chill and have a drink. Nice iced coffees and sangria. I did not try the food but it looked good also.

Since we have a little one this has become our go-to place whenever the sun is out. Thanks to their playground by the terrace you can enjoy drinks and/or satisfy your hunger while watching your kid play. Enough food choices that cover the basics. Decent taste and quality. Crew and price is okay. Toilet is well-maintained and have a changing table. They also have an outdoor shower to rinse-off to. On a very busy summer day when other restos are full this one had free tables! I almost hesitated to share this coz i’d like to keep it that way and wouldn’t want it to be popular but they do deserve a recommendation so here it is. As long as they keep the kid-friendliness and don’t deteriorate on the food and availability we’ll be loyal customer for the next years to come!

We went there because the kids wanted to use the jumping castle and ended up ordering various food to share. The food was amazing, but the service time, although there weren’t many others, was really bad. The kids menu was huge and reasonably priced, we had Carpaccio, steak stripes, bitterballen, wedges and bruschetta.

The food has low quality. Lemonade has no lemon and tastes like medicine. Chicken is certainly dry and the side salad is sooo lousy, absolutely no effort, dry, and the potato cold salad… the potato was not cooked. Portion is not enough, also the fries are not crunchy. I saw another table with nachos and cheese look good. Personnel was kind. Ambiance is good. But if the food is not good… well, Zandvoort has many other places to choose.

We love the playground and the jumping castle for our kids! What a fantastic setup. But unfortunately the foods was very underwhelming. My partner got a shredded salad served straight out of a plastic bag with a lot of brown pieces. I had the club sandwich which was slightly better, but served with the cheapest white bread. No oat milk for our coffee as well, which is a first here for us in Zandvoort. This pavilion has the potential to be great, but improvements are required with the food

Dreamy vibes & incredible food. Obsessed with this restaurant, I would spend every evening here if I could. Pizza is perfect, service is great, tiramisu is amazing and the vibes are on another level.

We got food to take away. Both Pizza and Pasta were possible to take away. The Pizza was Napoli Style and delicious, the Pasta was tasty as well and the portions were more than sufficient. What's more, I thought that the interiors of the restaurant itself looked modern, fresh and very nice. Eventually, the service was really friendly and helpful. I'd go there again any day, great Italian place right at the beach!

What a big beautiful beach surprise on the Zandvoort Beach just about bordering Bloemendaal Beach. Great Italian Style food. You múst try the meatballs! (Michelin standard if that exists for meatballs?) The Pizza's are top and also the sword fish. I have to go back to try some more. Lovely desserts. Oké its not really cheap but look at the vieuws!! A Dutch-Italian cullinary experience on North Holland's beach with the dunes in the backdrop. Not to forget the fast and especially friendly service. Smiling all the way.

Family of four on holiday with two young kids (5 & 1). Dinner, pizza and salads. Absolutely glorious, brilliant food, lovely atmosphere, no kids menu but they were accommodating. We just had them share an adult margarita which they smashed. We loved the salads with the pizza. Kids played on the sand close by our table. Fantastic, we’re probably going back within the few days we’re here.

The best terrace to enjoy the sunset and the sea view. Good food. Pizza from the pizza oven. Good pasta. Nice drinks.

I will devide my rate to 3 parts : 1 - the cold mezza is 0 comparing to the lebanese mezza and the portion for 4 people is too small ( Comparing to the price ) 2- the Warm mezza is useless you can eat the falafel and kibbeh ( + caulie flower wich is karnabit ) not bad but not something special 3 - main dish this one is Good and not bad ( as any other restaurant ). My recommendation is only to order mixed grill and don’t take the risk for mezza … plus 3 of us ordered lemonade ( said fresh ) but it’s not… Note : we are lebanese we paid : 230€ for it

The starters, main and dessert were very delicious. I was positively surprised with the quality and also the quantity. Portions are well served without being too much. The decoration of the place is traditional of the culture, I like the fact that the owner obviously invested (indoors and outside) in making it a nice place. Staff was friendly, but the food took a while to be served (I think it was a particularly busy day, so ok). They also took us last minute (group of 9) without a reservation, which was quite nice. Prices follow local standards. Quality / quantity are higher.

My family and I came to this restaurant on a Sunday night (without reservation) and they happily accommodated us with a seat outside. It is beautifully decorated on the inside and outside, but the FOOD— absolutely delicious. It’s hard to find good Lebanese food and this place was epic. I can see why it’s so popular. I loved the Kish Kash— lamb with oriental spices. My husband got the beef tenderloin (Tournedos) and my in laws got the two different kinds of chicken entrees (one was a spicy chicken kebab) and one was minced chicken with spices. It came with two bowls of rice— it was a mixture of white rice with bulgar rice? Everything tasted delicious. I ate my entire plate. 😆 We also shared the grape leaves, hummus, and muhummara appetizer (all served with pita) Also, the staff was super nice and friendly. 10 stars in my book! I wish we were staying here longer just to eat at Noya again.

Completely agree that was one of the best Lebanese restaurants I’ve ever been to. We had 5 vegetarians and 1 vegan in our party, and the restaurant created a 12-course tasting menu that was delightful with only one dish non-vegan - Labneh (which was stunning for the rest of us). I only was able to snap a few pictures because our crowd dug in quickly. Favorites - Labneh, falafel, cauliflower - arnabeet, baba ganoush… Great quick service with helpful staff. What a delightful find!

Mellow and calmer beach bar on a Friday afternoon in April. This place on South Beach takes a longer beach walk that's worth the effort. Most of their dishes are vegetarian. Some are vegan. Double check with the waiter or kitchen staff because they weren't all too sure about it. Had a juicy jackfruit burger that was tasty with a good texture with a bite. Interesting mango compote on it as well. Nice nice. And serving decaf coffee, so was happy.

Still disgusting pizzas, still dirty premises, and still unable to deliver pizzas to the correct address. Try one of Zandvoort's good pizza places - there are several. The picture is an uncut pizza I was charged for even though it wasn't delivered. 2 years ago: Saturday 4:45 pm: No delivery after 45 minutes. No call, no email, no app notification. My wife eventually collected in person two cold pizzas that had been returned to the shop. I phoned and complained to a somewhat unhelpful and curt store manager. Refund now received (Monday). This was handled well, for once.

On August 22nd, I ordered (under this name) two pizzas and a shake online, on the website for 41 euros, but I never received my order. Since the website didn't really show that the order was progressing, my friend called the pizzeria after hours, where they said the pizza had been delivered (we never saw the delivery guy, even though we were sitting outside on the balcony), but the phone number I gave wasn't the right one (I don't understand what they were thinking, I'm Hungarian, I have the same phone number format as the locals...)(by the way, this was mentioned in a lot of review, I suspect it's just some template-excuse). During the phone call, they told us to either walk to get our (cold) order or they would refund my money. I chose the second option (I mean I want my money back) but I haven't received a single cent back since then (but I've been waiting with hope ever since). In summary, I only recommend ordering from here if you want to throw 41 euros out the window and you never want to get it back.

Cozy place, tasty dishes, very friendly staff. They just need a manager, who will guide them, because the organisation wisely it would not even be one star. I hot regular burger instead of vegan one. Once again, the staff do everything they can, the mess begins much higher.

We were expecting some Ohana’ish dishes. I understand that the place must cater to the local market. Even with a reservation we waited 10 mins to be seated. Waited 20 mins to be served. Waited 20ish mins for the drinks. Waited another 35 mins for the food. The order was two cheese sandwiches and a side dish with fries. At least the drinks were cold. Simple straightforward drinks too. Just not a good experience. We’ve had a better experience with Mango’s further down the beach.

Atmosphere is good. Relaxed as we went with kids. Food was very good too. Only issue was the service as a couple of times we needed to follow up on our orders (apparently they did not got into the system) - but funny outcome was we got the desserts twice … second time “on the house” 🙂

It honestly took me a while to find the right words to describe this place in the most genuine and heartfelt way. But one thing I know for sure: don’t let the road to get here discourage you, it’s absolutely worth it! The vibe made me want to stay as long as possible. The staff were simply wonderful, friendly, and very respectful. Still can’t believe how incredible the food was. Every single dish surprised me, from the presentation to the taste, everything was just amazing. You can truly feel that the chef cooks from the heart. I feel genuinely honored to have been here, to have spoken with the staff and the chef. I’ll definitely miss this place and I know I’ll be back to the Netherlands, and to Manii Beach. 🙏

Absolute, hands down superb spot! I'm actually writing this from my beach bench, having just had a highly tasteful and very original, and also surprisingly colorful asian-cuisine based meal that was a real treat to the tastebuds. The interior design is also worth checking out, giving out East-Asian, Japanese and Buddhist beach vibes. It's a nice stroll over the beach getting there, in a quite part of Zandvoort... I could go on. Just do yourself a favor and check it out!

Crispy chicken was good, but the main dish Kaeng phel kai was very bad, rice was so dry like plastic. We complained and they changed the dish, but it looks like that they didn’t cook the rice at all and brought same thing 🥲. Drinks were good.

Want to visit the oldest pub in the Netherlands, come to Kraantje Lek. It’s been around for longer than most Dutch institutions, yet it has stayed up to date in its offerings and entertainment for your sprockets. The pancakes were better than expected and also quite affordable. The real benefit is the massive playground, so you can actually enjoy your own food. If you order with the QR code the food follows quite quickly. The one downside is that if you’re in the park, you have to hop the fence to get to kraantje lek and again to get back into the park. That being said, another excellent natural park and natural pancake. 🥞

The place is one of a kind in many ways. The service is great, the kids have lots to do and it's been maintained properly. I love that the kitchen is open until 20:00. The food is nice, full of flavour, can b spicy... It has a nice forest for walks next to it and free parking.

Very lovely atmosphere with a sweet staff. There’s a beautiful drive leading up to it and it has incredible outdoor seating by and around this amazing playground.

The server brought drinks and forgot to come back to ask for our food order. When re-ordering drinks another server just never came back with them and had to ask another staff member. Food and drinks overall were okay, but their salad dressing is overly salty and ruined the whole salad. I do recommend their sandwiches, very tasty.

The space is really nice, the terrace space is amazing and green if you don’t mind lots if kids running around and screaming since it has a kids playground. I think it’s perfect for families with kids. The food is not perfect but not bad either, their day special was entricot and I had it but not only they didn’t ask me how I wanted my steak, but also they just assumed I wanted rare steak! It was rare which would be okay under normal circumstances but the meat had a really strong and not so pleasant smell that basically didn’t let me eat the steak. I didn’t want to be a pain so I didn’t send it back or anything since it was really busy, but absolutely hated it. My friend had the kaas fondue and that one was pretty decent. Fresh vegetables and nice fondue. Their asparagus soup was really good. The service wasn’t that great and the waitress was only talking to my friend who is Dutch, I didn’t speak much Dutch to them and was speaking English to my friend, so they just assumed I don’t live here so they tried to not interact withe me much, which wasn’t very nice considering I live here! Other than that I really like the place because of the green around it.

Great cocktail menu and the food is nice enough- your average beach bar quality.

Went there on a Saturday noon and had a very decent experience. We sat at Bronze Beach next door for half an hour first, but nobody came to our table. Even though it was not very busy and ordering inside was not possible. They said they'd sent someone to take our order, but instead we could just watch the staff having long chats. After an extended waiting period without anyone approaching us we moved next door to the Fuel which is basically the same venue with a almost identical menu. I think even the owners might be the same. For some reason the staff here was the complete opposite: Aware, attentive and overall delightful. We got our food and drinks quickly and everything was very decent. Nothing to write home about though. It's a standard beach cafe so we didn't expect much and that is what we became. The view of the ocean is nice enough. I was thinking if 4 or 5 stars would be sufficient for the rating but went for 4, because there is not really anything for this place to stand out of the endless rows of beach cafes. This doesn't mean this place is bad, it's actually good, there is just nothing remarkable about it. If you're in the neighborhood and want coffee, beer or some bitterballen give this place a try.

I booked that restaurant by accident… I almost cancelled it because I want to go to another restaurant but I have a try…excellent surprise!! The waitress was very friendly and kind. The vegetarian pizza excellent, very good wine. The ambiance is cozy and relax, I felt that the staff have s good relationship between each other and works very well together

Sufficient variety on the menu (apart from dessert), very tasty food, very friendly and helpful staff, tables at distance apart from each other to create an intimate space at your own table, clean restrooms. The location is obviously a plus. Recommended.

This weekend we stayed in bloemendaal aan zee and visited 5 restaurants for lunch and dinner. This one definitely had the best food and also good service. Unfortunately when paying we did not get a bill and got charged 16 euro more than the prices listed on the menu (which we unfortunately only later realized)

Nice food great Cocktail and the best Service Ive ever had

This is a really cool bar and restaurant! Both days that we went during the weekend there was a DJ and a nice vibe. The food is delicious and the employees are friendly. I recommend this place. The decoration is amazing.

Very cool and pretty beach club with not too high prices. The location at Bloemendaal beach is beautiful. The only downside was the music — it felt a bit plain and didn’t really hype up the evening when we visited. This place is a must visit for those visiting the famous Zandvoort beach. Great atmosphere. Great food n drinks, and they go on till 12 midnight for those who wanna party!

We had such a great time at Woodstock! The whole team — including the security — was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. I was there with friends and my son, and the atmosphere was just wonderful. What really stood out was the genuine hospitality. Even though it was lively and a bit loud, someone immediately offered headphones for my son so he would feel comfortable. From arrival to leaving, every single person we met was welcoming and in a great mood. It’s clear that this kind of positive energy comes from the top — when a team is so consistently nice, you know the leadership is doing something right. This is what true hospitality feels like. We’ll definitely be back!

It’s a nice place to have fun during the summer. The vibe is cool, young and bohemian. The place is inspired by different cultures. Enjoy the events during the season, there is always a good DJ or band. The staff tend to be nice and in the peak of the summer can get busy as many places on the beach. The food is muah and I wish they could have more choises of beer. I would highly recommend Woodstock 69.

The place is nice with an amazing view of the sea. That's why we thought it'd be a good idea to go on a bright oct. day however there were many that thought like us and unfortunately only one waiter - poor girl. Had to wait a lot for the food and drinks. Burger was ok, the rest of the food(salad, dessert) not so impressive.

5 stars for sure. It was a pleasure to be hosted by such a great staff. I never experienced such a great service by a very friendly and happy staff. The food was excellent and the view is stunning. We will be back for sure. Keep up the spirit.

Not even worth one star. Disgusting. Pizza wasnt fresh and the salami on it seemed rotten. Price 15€. Staff didnt cared at all. Bad service. NEVER EVER.

We ordered 2 pizza and drinks they just brought the one of the pizza and didn’t even open service didn’t clean the table empty glasses from previous customers was staying but they ignored us . When i finally able to speak someone who cares pizza was really cold also they brought other pizza like 30 min later .

Nice place with a nice view. Orders can be placed quickly, but be prepared to wait for at least 45-60 min. for your order to be served. Better go in and ask them that you will take it yourself from the counter.

Why run a restaurant when you clearly don’t care about doing it properly? The small team was doing their best but they were completely overwhelmed. The food comes out quickly but does not taste good or have any finesse, which you would expect given the prices. The outdoor seating is uncomfortable and has poor shading. It’s a shame…it’s such a great location at the beach but this was a waste of time and money.

The restaurant offers a beautiful beach view and ample seating both inside and outside, creating a pleasant ambiance. However, the lack of parasols or shades on sunny days and inadequate air conditioning indoors were significant drawbacks. Despite the stunning surroundings, it is recommended to visit on milder days and for management to address the need for additional shading and improved cooling to enhance the overall dining experience.

A very nice bar to go to when visiting Zandvoort racetrack. The staff were very polite and friendly, good level of English spoken in case you can't speak Dutch. Good range of food and drink with a good view of pitlane. Hope to come back eventually.

Like this place, interesting bar at the circuit worth a visit.

When first came in no one even looked at us, waited for 20 mins to order, when no one came we left after half an hour. Dont recommend, prices too high

Very nice surprise, the ambience is super cozy and you feel home. The service is excellent, fast and efficient and the food was perfect. I had the lamb and my bf the risotto, the portions were good, well presented and delicious 😊
