Takeout Restaurant
Located in Concarneau, France, Crêperie - Le Petit Chaperon Rouge offers delicious and affordable homemade gluten-free buckwheat pancakes. The service is friendly and efficient, with a Little-Red-Riding-Hood-themed ambiance. Despite the pancakes not being heavily garnished, they are of great value for money. Patrons can enjoy local beers along with their meal.
The best crêpe in town..🤩😊

5 Stars all the way, great Crepe's friendly and efficient service. In the words of the Lady behind the counter making the Crepes (presumably the owner) "Everyone loves Crêpes!"
Sean N — Google review
They gave us a table and after 10 minutes asked to leave as it was "reserved" by other people. They clearly made a mistake, but did not want to solve it. Very disappointed. This is not a way you should treat tourists!!
Victoria B — Google review
One of the best Galette restaurants I've ever tried. Extraordinarily delicious!
Erich D — Google review
Great little crêperies, nested at the heart of Concarneau just across the magnificent old town and harbour. One cook to take care of all, and what a job she did! The service was top notched and food absolutely delicious. Bookings are a must as we were lucky to squeeze in on the sole unbooked table of the evening service. If you ever visit Concarneau and wants to taste the real stuff, you know where to head!

Le Penfret, a seafood restaurant located in the heart of Concarneau, offers a delightful dining experience with its delectable seafood dishes. The staff is attentive and helpful, making return visits easy and enjoyable. The menu boasts a variety of tasty options such as tuna, steak, scallops, and their soup poisson which is particularly delicious. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food.
Beautiful seafood restaurant in the old centre of Concarneau. Great service and lovely food

Lovely little restaurant inside the walled city. Food was good and we had a pleasant evening.
P ( — Google review
Lovely experience , good food & excellent service, had moules, steak, crepe & coffee, local cider.
Wendy Y — Google review
Great staff made return visits easy Had tuna, steak and scallops tasty and reasonably priced, good tourist food. Only criticism was traffic idling next to the tables ,maybe they should ban cars from the Ville Close during lunch, Happily we returned this year and found a warm welcome and the same great sea food, the staff are as helpful as always, it's always busy, get in early for lunch or you may miss out, they do stop taking orders to allow the kitchen to catch up, good food worth waiting for a table .

Restaurant
La Porte Au Vin is a charming restaurant located within the old city walls, offering a delightful dining experience. Established in 1985, it serves a variety of Breton specialties and is known for its swift and attentive service. The restaurant's terrace and indoor dining area fill up quickly during lunchtime, where patrons can enjoy generous portions of delicious dishes such as crepes with scallops and mushrooms or well-seasoned tartare.
Excellent fish food, freshly prepared. Staff was friendly and English language was no problem. It got very busy around lunch time so better reserve or be there at noon. Happy to come back and try other dishes, too.
Mike — Google review
Very cosy and charming restaurant. I greatly enjoyed the breton kit and coquille à la bretonne as a starter, it was delicious. The moules et frites marinère was good, but not so much the french fries (I guess I am too fond of the belgian way). Dessert also very tasty and light.
Lucrezia F — Google review
We visited this restaurant based on a recommendation, and it certainly lived up to expectations. From the original menu format to the exceptionally kind staff very attentive, taking the time to explain the menu — which was especially helpful, as our translation app wasn’t working well. Service was swift and efficient; we were seated and served in no time. We began with the grilled shrimp skewers and the vegetable salad. The shrimp were flavorful, perfectly salted, and juicy. While they may not have been freshly caught, they certainly didn’t fall short in taste or texture. The vegetables in the salad were fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor. Combined with the cheese, each bite was truly enjoyable. The savory crêpes stood out for their generous fillings and well-balanced flavors: • The sausage, ham, and bacon crêpe allowed each type of meat to shine without overpowering the others. • The scallop crêpe was equally satisfying, complemented beautifully by a mushroom sauce that brought the dish together. • The egg, ham, and mushroom crêpe was another highlight — the egg added a lovely richness and moisture. The buckwheat crêpe dough was excellent: crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, adding great texture to each bite. When it came to the sweet crêpes, the experience was slightly different. The dough didn’t have quite the same crispiness or flavor as the savory version, and paired with the very sweet apple filling, the overall result felt a bit too cloying. However, the flambé technique added a creative touch — not all the alcohol burns off, leaving behind a pleasantly rich wine-like flavor that elevated the dessert. Overall, everything was delicious. If I were to suggest one improvement, it would be to slightly reduce the salt in the crêpe dough, as the fillings already provide enough seasoning. All in all, a fantastic recommendation — one I’ll gladly pass on.

This is our favorite restaurant in Concarneau. On a sunny day this the perfect place to eat Mussels in scallop sauce w/fries, Moules Frites a la pirate, on the terrace with a glass of Muscat wine!

Fish and chip Friday for my wife and I - very British I know but excellent meal and good value
Martin B — Google review
Lovely lunch. Very nice crêpe "au blé noir" with a generous filling of beautiful scallops and mushrooms in a creamy sauce, respectively a well seasoned tartare "coupe au couteau" with no sinewy bits in it which made my opposite absolutely content. The dessert a crêpe composition with almonds, caramel and Chantilly creme was delicious too. Swift and attentive service. The house is a jewel. The old beam work carefully restored and presented deserves an extra glance if you have to go and use the bathroom.
Astrid C — Google review
We really liked this restaurant. The food was well-cooked and honest! We had the fish with sauerkraut, and the fish skewer and both were excellent. The staff was very freindly and attentive. Definitely worth a try!
Hugo N — Google review
Food was alright, my steak was very chewy however and I got a piece lodged in my throat, leading me to leave the rest of my dinner. Upon collection my server gave my family and me a dirty look, saying "why did you leave my food", and blatantly gave a disappointed look. Then when ordering dessert we asked for two spoons for ice cream as I wanted to try some, and again she commented, this time saying "Are you sure, I dont want you wasting food", and pointed to the steak (which is in a takeaway box to eat later on). However, my families food was good, and the other waitresses and waiters were very accommodating and friendly, so just make sure not to get the moody black haired round glasses miserable waitress (especially if you know you dont finish your meals).

We managed to secure a table inside despite the restaurant being busy during lunchtime. The seafood was fresh and absolutely incredible. In general, our dining experience was enjoyable and splendid! The food was delicious, and the waitstaff were kind. I highly recommend trying the main course options like roquefort or curry mussels, as well as indulging in their delightful brownie dessert. La Croisiere deserves a 5-star rating for their remarkable offerings.
Good food. Pleasant staff. Would recommend to family and friends.
Julie J — Google review
One of the few places that was still serving food. (we're only getting used to the hours of French dining!). We both ordered mussels, but neither of us got the actual dish we ordered!! I ordered the mussels with cream, and my partner ordered with lardons. He got the cream & I got the basic. Unfortunately we were both a bit disappointed. We both thought the mussels were quite bland & lacking in flavour. The wine we ordered was delicious, as was the dessert (VERY pricey though). An OK restaurant. And pleasant staff.
Clarissa C — Google review
We visited as a family of 7 on an evening where the heavens opened. One poor girl that was waiting on single handedly closed umbrellas and emptied tables getting soaked while several of her colleagues (mostly male) watched and did nothing to help. Who said chivalry was dead. Problem we had was the girl had just taken our order for ice cream and as a consequence we waited 40 minutes to get desert, anyone with 3 young kids will know the joys of this.. overall a very average meal with poor service would not recommend.
Wayne P — Google review
We were sat in the room at the back which is not pretty at all. They should probably decorate to make it less depressing 🤞The location is perfect though and the burgers are delicious! Excellent service too!

Le Comptoir is a trendy establishment with exposed brick walls and a spacious terrace, offering tapas, mussels, burgers, and pizza. It has gained popularity for being open when many other places are closed. During the summer months, service can be a bit slow due to the large number of patrons. However, customers have consistently expressed satisfaction with the quality of the food, beverages, and service provided. The portion sizes are just right and desserts are particularly enjoyable.
We enjoyed our meals here, we had fish and chips. Everything was freshly prepared. The service was also good.
Debbie H — Google review
Had a really good experience here, the staff was really nice and we had a good view from above. The pizza I had was really good and had lots of cheese as shown in the picture.
Meike W — Google review
Food was amazing. We landed at 6ish and we're told we would have to have to 7 for food. That's fine and I appreciate that it's told upfront. Service was snappy and food fast once it had gone 7. We were eating by 7.10. There was a french Belgium football match on so it was rowdy but a good friendly environment.
Oliver R — Google review
Food was good but service was dire. It seemed as though they served French customers way faster than non French. We were seated but I had to go get our own menus, they forgot part of our order.
Yvonne D — Google review
I have been going here for almost 3 years and the bathrooms are horrible. What the hell is the owner thinking? Is he or she stupid? Pick up the phone and call a plumber. What is wrong with you ?? Your sales seem to be excellent so spend your money and fix the bathroom. It literally gets worse every time I go there. You closed to rearrange the bar. Why don’t you close and fix the bathrooms?? Is your house like this?? No?? Then, why is your restaurant like this ?? I like all the servers and the kitchen makes really good food. I have no complaints about them.
Doug D — Google review
We had the BEST time at Le Comptoir, watching the women's Euros - staff always super-friendly and helpful, it was never a problem to put the football on even though there were few of us watching, and the rose de Provence was just gorgeous. Memez tra - will never forget you, Le Comptoir! :)

Crêperie du Port de Plaisance offers a delightful dining experience with its amazing crepes and friendly service. Despite some mixed reviews, it stands out as a great place to enjoy delicious food in Concarneau. The combination of excellent crepes, cider, and an authentic atmosphere creates a memorable visit. While some visitors have noted slow or unfriendly service, others praise the attentive staff and affordable prices.
The crepes where amazing and very tasty. The service was really friendly and we were perfectly satisfied. Don't believe every review here, we went there because all the other creperies where completely full. So come here and enjoy the nice experience.
Hanna R — Google review
Found the manager rude and would not recommend for families with children. The manager insisted that it was a restaurant and children could not just have ice-cream. For me, it's a pancake bar
James F — Google review
We chose a table outside but were immediately told (by the owner I'm guessing) to move to a different table because there were only three of us. That wouldn't be a problem normally. But her manner was abrupt and rude and we would have left except that we'd promised our daughter a crêpe on the last day of our holiday. The same woman came to take our order. She continued with her short and abrupt manner, trying to push extra food on us. And then just as we were finalising our order, she called a waitress over and got her to finish taking our order. We found this very strange behaviour! Our crêpes arrived and they were absolutely delicious. The best we've had. All the other staff were friendly and pleasant but unfortunately the battle axe of an owner soured the experience for us.
Eleanor O — Google review
Boycott this place. Crêpe and ice-cream were just ok but the attitude of the manager would prevent me ever from ever returning. She claimed that we “had to order full meals as this was a restaurant” but when we offered to “just leave right away no problem” she relented. This kind of unnecessary pressure and surly service detracts from a great spot and what could be a great experience for diners and staff alike.
Kevin H — Google review
Incredibly rude staff member turning away English customers with a "servis complet" and then seating french customers.

Nestled in one of Concarneau's charming narrow streets, Le Croguervol is a delightful French restaurant that captures the essence of local dining. With a menu brimming with fresh, seasonal dishes ranging from succulent fish and barbecue to comforting soups and indulgent desserts like their famous crème brûlée, there's something for everyone. The eatery boasts an inviting atmosphere adorned with local artwork and a nautical theme, all while rock music sets the perfect backdrop for your meal.
If you love a "special" restaurant go in the La Croguervol. (Reservation in advance highly recommended. We had luck and one table was free) The owner and the Food was great. He offered a special vegetarian dish (not on the menu).

Awesome restaurant. Amazing food. Very attentive, friendly and helpful. Completely understood my Gluten Free dietary requirements. The chef, even came out when she identified a hidden problem with a normally GF ingredient and confirmed she makes certain dishes using GF ingredients so my menu choice increased. Definitely recommend this restaurant and will go back. Thank you for a memorable evening!

A bit dark inside and 20 meters off the quayside so this might not be your first choice for a restaurant, but the food is really great and prices are very reasonable. The "ardoise fromagiere" is highly recommended.

I never anticipated the opportunity to try couscous in Concarneau. I recently arrived from Paris, where I dined at a renowned couscous restaurant. However, it's safe to say that Le Touareg easily surpassed the Parisian establishment. Although not typical fare in Brittany, visiting Le Touareg would be a mistake to overlook. Additionally, the service is exceptional, with the owner and his team being truly remarkable. Finally experiencing this restaurant was wise advice necessitating advanced reservations.
I'd never have expected to have the chance to eat a couscous in Concarneau. We've just arrived from Paris where we had one in the most famous couscous restaurants, and I wouldn't lie saying that Le Touareg easily beat the Parisian institution. I know it's not the most intuitive food to eat when coming to Brittany, but you would make a mistake not to give Le Touareg a visit when you visit Concarneau. And to top it up, the service is just magnificent. The owner is a gem and his team amazing!

Nestled near the sandy beaches of Concarneau, L'Amiral is a charming restaurant, bar, and brasserie that boasts stunning views of the harbor and the historic walled town. Owned by Arnaud and Catherine Lebosse, this beloved establishment has been a staple in the community for years and even served as inspiration for renowned author Georges Simenon.
I wish I could give more than a 5 star rating. An absolute amazing experience, the service staff is exceptional, both at Bar/Brasserie but first and foremost at the restaurant. To get a table booked was a bit of a challenge due to Internet connectivity issues caused by severe weather conditions. The Champagne, the wine and the dishes were truly exceptional and an overwhelming experience. Everything was perfect and we had an amazing time here. Extra kudos to the attentive and sympathetic staff through the entire time.

Appalling service - find somewhere better. Things go bad everywhere, but it is how this is then managed that separates a good restaurant from a bad one. Son, had an assiette de fruits de mer for his main course. This was brought out while we were having our starters. He had almost finished his main and we were still waiting for our mains to arrive. Rather than simply apologising we were told by two different waiters (1) it’s not my fault the kitchen is short staffed, (2) I forgot to order out your mains because I am also looking after another area. No consideration for the impact on the customer. Staff then followed up by taking an age to bring out dessert and then not bringing the bill to the table. Manager stayed away and didn’t engage. Really poor.
Kamal M — Google review
How lucky for us to arrive in Concarneau for a days experience and this restaurant was highly recommended by three local residents in separate conversations.. we were patient as the brasserie was full and we were told by a forth person that the cuisine was worth the wait.. And everyone was correct..a very quality experience..very friendly and efficient staff and very quality food..
Michael M — Google review
The service was great 👍 and the food also 😋. The oysters 🦪 were great and the crab 🦀 also was very fresh and good. The commissaire Dupin didn't disappointed us with his entrecot 🥩 and the vieras were amazing 🥣. The Baba au Rum also was amazing (has a lot of rum 🍾).
Rodrigo M — Google review
I have never before felt compelled to leave a negative review, but our experience at L’Amiral was profoundly disappointing. A caterpillar was found in my daughter’s dish, two mains arrived incomplete without notice, and yet we were charged over €200 with no apology or goodwill gesture, not to mention the extremely long wait times between courses. Worse still was the conduct of the waiter, Ismael, who repeatedly interrupted and spoke over both myself and my mother, made condescending remarks about tourists, displayed rude body language, and openly disrespected his colleague who had been serving us politely. His manner was insolent, argumentative, and wholly unprofessional. Instead of resolving issues, he argued and treated us with outright disrespect. In years of dining out, none of us have ever experienced such a lack of professionalism or basic courtesy. We left genuinely shaken and would not recommend this establishment, which should reflect seriously on the standard of service it allows to represent its name. As a note to future guests: order your dessert with your mains — the neighbouring table, who ordered the finest dishes on the menu, were refused theirs entirely after the same waiter failed to inform them of this policy, leaving them understandably upset.
Charlotte B — Google review
If you would like a warm a tin of sardines (still in the tin) with a few leaves and boiled potatoes, this is the place for you. If you want fresh fish, try elsewhere.

Long waiting time for a very disappointing plateau de fruits de mer.
Jean R — Google review
Overpriced for what it’s offering. We had a dry magret de canard and an entrecôte that was more gristle than meat. The kids meals were trying too hard and neither of our children enjoyed the strong flavoured sausages. The atmosphere is really staid and dull. It’s a shame. Prime location but they’ve decided to skimp on the cooking quality. It’s not gourmet, it’s basic French fare done badly. Service was very nice but that’s the only positive really.

Les Sables Blancs is a modern seaside hotel that offers airy rooms, some of which come with balconies. It boasts a plush ambiance and provides beach access for guests to enjoy. The hotel also features a popular seafood restaurant as well as a lively bar. With its contemporary design, Les Sables Blancs is an ideal choice for couples, families, or friends who want to stay close to the beach and perhaps even take sailing lessons at the nearby school.
I recently stayed at this amazing hotel on the beach in France, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had! The location is unbeatable - right on the beach with stunning views of the sea and the coastline. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you could possibly need. I loved waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying my morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The food and drinks at the bar were also top-notch, with a great selection of local and international dishes and drinks. What really impressed me about this hotel/bar was the attention to detail and the level of service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and they were always available to answer any questions I had or provide recommendations for things to do in the area. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel/bar to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay on the beach in Brittany, France. It's the perfect place to unwind, soak up the sun, and enjoy the beauty of this stunning region. Thank you to the amazing staff for making my stay so incredible - I can't wait to come back!

Amazing view, right on the sandy beach. Room rather functional, cool terrace, but was not 100% clean. The receptionists are stunning, sweet and helpful. Breakfast was a bit below par.

Fantastic meal, incredible view, equally amicable service- a real treat. We both had set menu choices of fish and I finished with dessert the most amazing pavlova ever tasted. Our dogs were welcomed on the balcony overlooking the white sand beach there was a cooling breeze it was delightful. Wine was reasonably priced to boot, and my husband raved about the cafe. I would be interest to return to the hotel one day too.

Great restaurant witha lovely view. We tried the set menu and the al le cart. The £50 set menu was great value for money and very tasty. We had the lobster off the al le cart which was nice but less special. Would recommend for a date night

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The lady owner was very kind, the chef did an excellent job, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing. Since I’m allergic to shellfish, they kindly changed the appetizer to foie gras just for me, which was not only thoughtful but incredibly delicious. The millefeuille is a must-try — so good! They also put a candle on my fiancé’s dessert for his birthday, which was a really nice touch. This made our visit to Concarneau feel extra special. Highly recommend!
Passa J — Google review
A really beautiful restaurant with a very beautiful view overlooking the harbour and the beautiful ville close. Even better than the panoramic view is the food that is very elegant but not at all over the top. We had lovely oysters for starters, a very tasty lobster in décortiqué sauce Armorin with basmati rice, beautifully grilled cod with carrot mousse and for dessert a heavenly Peach-Mascarpone-Verrine with Mint-Sorbet. But probably the best was the lovely service that felt like being welcomed to someones home. I left very happy and smiling!

overall worth the reservation! our waiter, apparently has been living abroad in Chicago, is a very funny but yet professional guy. Good small talk and nice recommendations. As starters we shared the Assiette de fruit de mer which was perfectly fine with our waiter as well as for us. Main was the pork on perfectly cooked vegetables and exquisite dark sauce. And half a lobster with Safran risotto. For dessert we had our first ever baba au rhum and rum it had. very impressive and a great dessert. 10/10 make a reservation when you visit Concarneau.

The restaurant Le jardin d'Angelina is a delightful establishment with al fresco dining options. They have taken the necessary precautions in light of the Corona pandemic, ensuring that customers sanitize their hands upon entry. The menu offers a diverse range of dishes that cater to various preferences, although some found the veggie burger to be too dry. However, the fish and other burgers were well-received by almost everyone. The desserts provided were excellent and top-notch.
4,5 stars. Good restaurant in an otherwise very touristy area. Nice ambiance both inside and in the garden. It is very busy, but service is nice and efficient. Maybe a bit too fast even. Not a quiet place, but we’ve got nothing to complain about the quality of the food.

A great restaurant in the old town ville close. Food was globally delecious. However, it is a little expensive compared to other nice places!
Nonna Z — Google review
We were honestly just happy to find somewhere with space for 5 on a hot day in the busy Ville Close but the food was really good as well - the portions were huge - the faux filet was enormous - probably about 16oz and there was more than enough for all of us. Bill was <€110 for 5 covers (2 children)

Big cozy terrace, great food, decent prices. We had mussels and also the burger and both portions were decently sized. Strong recommendation.

A very nice place that was very busy but only after a short wait they accommodated us a family of four. The food was high quality and the service was fast and friendly. Menu options were good for kids
A — Google review
Chose this as an option to walking the streets with an ice cream. Limited flavours of "glace" but the coffee flavour with salted caramel sauce was delicious and cheaper than other parlours. The coffee drink was a bit disappointing: espresso was very bitter , and cappuccino quite drab and tepid. Lovely ambiance in the rear garden. On

Le Belem Restaurant, also known as Restaurant Concarneau, is a charming rustic dining hall in Brittany that specializes in delicious seafood dishes like lobster and oysters. The food is of high quality and the service, while occasionally lacking expertise, is generally satisfactory. The fish soup is beautifully presented and highly flavorful, while the moules frites are also quite good. The restaurant offers a well-equipped establishment with a cozy atmosphere that welcomes both humans and dogs.

A pub vibe accompanied by pub style food. Expect oily fries (lots of them). Friendly staff attempt To help non-French speakers so it will be good to know a few relevant phrases here. We arrived as soon as they’d opened, didn’t have a reservation but that was no problem & were served speedily. Unfortunately the food was below expectations but the restaurant is a nice place to grab a few drinks with friends.

Very good seafood in a traditional setting. This is the kind of place we like. Our waiter was excellent and very patient as we tried to understand some unusual items on the menu. We would definitely go here again. The owner/manager spent many years in New York and sold up there just before covid when she moved back to Brittany. Maybe it was the time to be there but there was nothing at all negative in our visit. Quite the opposite.

The restaurant is well equipped. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is very good. Servers like to make jokes. The mussels frites was very good but they were a bit small. Maybe because it's the end of the season.

Food good. Service ok. Fish soup was well presented and very tasty. Moules frites also good. Seems to close early, like 9pm or thereabouts.

We were travelling from Los Angeles during January when a lot of restaurants in Bretagne are closed. We were pleasantly surprised that La Flaveur was open! My husband and I arrived right at 7:15 pm and they were able to seat us without a reservation. The food was sincerely one of the best meals I have ever had. It was so refined but also comforting at the same time. Our waitress was incredibly kind and hospitable. If we lived here, this would be our regular place. As a family of six plus a dog we had two wonderful meals here last week. Initially looking for a place to eat early evening we discovered it was only opening at 7pm which worked for us. We sat outside and everyone welcoming us was extremely helpful with great English language skills, which really helped considering our rudimentary French. With two adults and four kids our meals were a healthy mixture of muscles, seafood special and steak plus some raspberry cider and a bottle of wine. Food was simply wonderful, service fantastic. In fact it was so good we decided when leaving to go again three days later, which interestingly mirrors another review I read on this site. Second time around they remembered us and with great humour we had yet another wonderful but different meal. We simply cannot fault the place. It’s clearly a family restaurant, the owner’s intrinsically involved. Food was wonderful as was the atmosphere. The only two things i would say is that steaks are cooked quite rare so consider that when ordering your cooking temp. I love rare steak so not a problem for me and the meat quality was excellent. The second I would suggest cloth napkins. When eating at a nice restaurant it’s a pleasure to have a stiff, white table napkin over a paper one. Suffice to say, next time we are in town we will be stopping by for dinner.

3 of us had lunch and found it excellent - we focused on seafood and were not disappointed! We had pre booked our reservation which is advisable as by 1:00pm the restaurant was full and Management were turning some potential customers away. Staff were attentive without being pretentious. Food had excellent presentation and absolutely was fresh & tasted wonderful! For desert I can also highly recommend the Pavalova. The complete experience of dining here will stay with us as a great memory.

Absolutely superb lunch! Started with the pressed octopus and had the mixed fish in a sort of chowder or broth. Both were delicious! Service was very attentive without being overwhelming. The wine selection is quite nice, with many reasonable options as well as splurges. The view of the harbor is wonderful to boot. So happy that we wandered in here today!

Probably their Seefood is excellent but we didn’t feel welcome. So after finishing a bottle of wine we left to have dinner somewhere else.

The service is unfriendly and not accommodating. I went for a drink and since it was a lovely day I wanted to order a little bite. When I asked for the menu it was dropped on my table with no smile or elegance. Then wanted to order the fois gras as I was in the mood for it. I was told they don’t serve food at the terrace … no explanation, just we do t serve here.I had diner here 3 years ago and my review wasn’t much better.. clearly this place still has a lot to learn about hospitality and flexibility. BUT If you want to get ripped off and love bad service then this is your place.

Nice place for a seafood dinner. Oysters and fish is very good and fresh, the meat selection is ok, but limited. They offer a vegetarian menu that is ok, but not exactly overwhelming. The place clearly specialises on seafood. Dessert is very good. They also have a quite nice wine selection. Service is attentive, the atmosphere in the place is also very nice. I would recommend to take indoor seating, though, as the place is in the more industrial area of the harbour, so the outdoor seating looks a bit like a parking lot.

But I highly recommend this restaurant. Personally, I opted for a fully vegetarian meal. I had a wonderful evening. The staff is very friendly. (Original) Très bon restaurant, expérience très agréable. I asked for a table for only one Person. Although there were plenty lonely tables, the waitress told me that I needed a reservation. When I showed her one she said, that I cannot have it because it was next to a group. That’s how they handle tourists that cannot speak French. She did not try in English.

Really great restaurant. Service was fantastic and we really enjoyed our meal. We had foie gras, scallops, a burger and dessert (white and dark chocolate mousse and café gourmand).
Nora — Google review
My wife and two daughters had dinner here yesterday evening, after wandering the streets of Concarneau for a while, looking for something that had decent reviews and was open on a Wednesday. Not as easy as it sounds. In the end we stumbled upon this marvellous, unassuming little place in a side street perpendicular to the main drag. We were so glad we did. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere buzzing with the gallic chatter of happy customers. The two chaps serving were very friendly and extremely helpful to us Welsh visitors, struggling with the menu. We were guided through the choices, helpfully and patiently, and with enormous tolerance for our risible attempts at French. My wife and eldest daughter had the fish of the day, I had the "souris d'agneau" and the youngest had a delicious chicken burger. The best meal I've had for quite a while. We gleefully booked a table for the following Friday.

The Hôtel - Café - Restaurant "Les Grands Voyageurs" is a basic hotel situated by the harbor, providing rooms with private or shared bathrooms. With its excellent location, it provides good value for money. Guests can enjoy various dishes such as galettes and salads which are tasty and served promptly by friendly staff.
Review of the restaurant: I judge a place by what it sets out to be, and how well it achieves it. This isn't haute cuisine and a fine dining experience with a mob of waiters fawning over you, nor is it supposed to be. It's simple food done well, and extremely good value (and it's in an excellent location). We had a galette and a salad; both were very nice. It's friendly, and service was quick and efficient. I can't think of anything to criticize - I'd happily eat there again. j

We did not stay at Les Grands Voyageurs but ate in the restaurant. The service was mediocre but the food was disgusting. The Moules Mariniere tasted like they had been cooked in dish water and nothing tasted fresh. Everyone was disinterested in the food. Never go near there again.

Food was cold. Dishes was dirty spots was on my cutlery. A total disappointment. I read it some of the views. Sounded good curry was watery and cold and soggy. Totally disappointed really don’t think I should pay. Totally disappointed 😡
Jo L — Google review
The Chicken Madras was really tasty, I asked for extra spicy and it was perfectly spicy. The other dish however was really bland and boring. 3 different types of beans in the vegetarian dish. Normally Indian cuisine put a lot of effort in the vegetarian dishes.
Michael K — Google review
From what I could see the kitchens were modern and spotlessly clean. The food was tasty and served fresh and quickly. A popular place as it was full and they were servicing takeaways.
Neville C — Google review
It was quite disappointing overall. In spite of having made a reservation and the restaurant being almost empty when we arrived, the staff kept suggesting the 3 of us share a table for two. We declined and were eventually given a table for 4. There was a kids menu which was great. The menu looked great. But there were later some issues bringing the food in time, then a starter brought to us to be then taken away within seconds as they realised it was for another table… starter then didn’t arrive and we had to ask for it again. One of the starter was plain and the prawns looked like they came from a pack rather than freshly cooked. Service was really slow overall. But mostly it was not spicy at all. We ordered a jalfrezi and it was as mild as anything. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be waiting to be served, we had to ask a couple of times for the bill. We won’t go back.

An insult to the real Taj Mahal. Despite being the only Indian restaurant in Concarneau, I think it would be inappropriate to suggest that in any way shape or form that this is the best Indian restaurant in Concarneau. I urge anyone who has been this restaurant and loved it to visit a good curry house in India or the UK, or even a bad - it couldn't be worse than this, you'll be blown away. The food at this restaurant was most likely not freshly made judging by the tinned look and texture to a lot of the ingredients. The naan bread was decent but looked almost perfectly circular which can only suggest it was produced in a factory. The poppadoms were almost certainly from a packet. Thoroughly disappointed by my visit here. Stupidly expensive. Service was the only acceptable thing about the place.

Pizza restaurant
I recently dined at Lobelys, an Italian restaurant known for its exquisite cuisine. The Brushelle Italian dish was remarkable, and the pizza was of exceptional quality. I would definitely consider returning to this establishment in the future. Moreover, Lobelys offers a pleasant ambiance and attentive service that enhances the overall dining experience. Not only is their food superb, but the price range is also quite reasonable.
I had the "penne au poulet" and it was délicieux. Great service and wonderful staff. I do recommend !

We arrived on a cold wet evening and the restaurant was not full When we asked for a different table not beside the open front door, the server made a comment to the owner about putting us beside the toilets, which is exactly what she did even though there were plenty of other empty tables We left and the owner was totally unapologetic and said we should have just taken the original table Terrible service and attitude to tourists

I live in the area and just love Lobelys. There’s plenty of room inside and outside. It is conveniently located near Ville Close. We must have eaten here a hundred times and we still love it.

(Translated by Google) We ordered a goat's cheese salad as an appetizer, to share. Then a Margherita pizza (lovely thin and flavorful), and some Miles a la creme, excellent. Finally, a gourmet coffee. Everything was super good. Highly recommended. (Original) Abbiamo ordinato una insalata chevre come antipasto, da condividere. Poi una pizza margherita (bella sottile e saporita), e delle Miles a la creme, ottime. Infine un caffè gourmant Tutto super buono. Consigliatissimo

Café de l'Atlantic offers pleasant scenery with street-side tables, a rustic wooden interior, and simple yet delicious bistro cuisine. It is an ideal place to relax and enjoy a drink after a leisurely walk along La Corniche. Located on the harbor of Concarneau, this establishment provides a unique experience unlike any other. The waitstaff are friendly and accommodating, always there when you need them. The service is prompt and the drinks served are of high quality.
Cool place in Concarneau with beautiful views on thw harbour. Bonus, the staff was great and the tapas too 😀

Rude, surly, inattentive staff. Overpriced, below-average food. We we tried our best to communicate in French, but felt distinctly unwelcome nonetheless. Took three attempts and 45 minutes to get the bill, on which we were overcharged.

On July 10, Maxim accepted our reservation for 10 people on August 8 and confirmed it personally. On August 6, he contacted us again and said that he suddenly had no more space available. We now have to tell our guests that we have to find something new within one day during the peak season. I hope we are lucky. The owner's behavior is unreliable and therefore highly unprofessional. Of course, I couldn't test the food and atmosphere, but it's worthless if you literally leave your guests standing on the street.

We found Cafe de L'Atlantic by accident, when we arrived late in to Concarneau and they kept the kitchen open for us...and that's where the relationship started. What a great venue, which served great food and drink, gave us a reception like old friends each night that we called in and, went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The tapas portions are an absolute bargain. They are one big reason that we will be coming back to Concarneau !!!

Great bar with wonderful harbour views, gorgeous food and great service. We lost a bank card here, came back ten days later and they still had it! :) Thank you all. :)

So we went in the morning and had coffee and fresh orange juice. Perfect. With wonderful marina views. Went back for lunch….and we weren’t allowed to sit where we wanted to, in a totally non busy cafe. So we left! And hence no top ratings!

Went for lunch on Filets Bleu, so really busy day. Only waited a little bit and then had beer, mussels and a burger. All really excellent.

Average! Ordered 2 beers and when they arrived asked for 2 grilled sardines and the waiter said wait, someone was ahead of me. Ordered 2 portions of grilled sardines. 1 was just cooked/warm but not grilled, the second was raw/red inside. Ordered 2 extra beers that never arrived.

Wow this place is very good small menu because it’s all fresh made by I think 1 female chef. It’s so good we had 3 of the 4 dishes. Pork chicken and beef and all were good. I’m going to say the beef just wins. Maybe

Restaurant Le Domaine offers an excellent dining experience, with three consecutive nights of enjoyable meals in a pleasant and serene atmosphere. The menu is consistently refreshed, offering high-quality dishes every evening. The attentive young staff provide top-notch service with a friendly attitude. (Translated by Google) Great experience! 5 of us came to eat at the Le Domaine restaurant in Concarneau, and all, without exception, found the experience excellent. The quality of service is simply exceptional, with a caring team. The cocktails were perfect, and each dish on the menu was a true masterpiece, both in taste and presentation. We were also very well advised on the wines, which turned out to be excellent and perfectly suited to our dishes. The room is magnificent, and everything happened with impressive fluidity. Special mention for the value for money: the prices are not excessive given the quality of the experience. Really, everything was top notch, a gastronomic experience that I can only highly recommend! The foie gras is too salty and masked by the side dishes, and it doesn't have much flavor. The rest of the meal is OK. The staff is great. A very warm welcome, too. Found this restaurant randomly one day. We were so happy with our find!! We both got the menu du jour. Creamy leek soup was devine, fish plat excellent and a perfect pear/chocolate/palette Bretagne to finish the meal. The dessert was perfect as not too sweet.
