Restaurant Le M is a must-visit for any food enthusiast in Brest. It's the city's only Michelin-starred restaurant, housed in a stylish mansion with spacious rooms and a charming terrace for outdoor dining. Helmed by experienced restaurateur Bruno Diabaoui and chef Philippe Le Bigot, the restaurant offers seasonal menus featuring contemporary twists on Brittany-grown produce.
A nice and chic place with good food and great service. And the location is a true gem! I read that they lost their star in the guide recently, but that certainly did not show in what was produced in the kitchen. Nice dining experience in a well thought out restaurant.

Beautiful evening at the m restaurant for my mum birthday. Food was very innovative and delicious. Service was excellent. The atmosphere is romantic and stylish. We will come back to try the terrace 🥰
Juliette G — Google review
Innovative presentation, delicious food and good service! The fish was very fresh and tender, and the chef managed to keep its original light flavor and not destroying that with the sides and sauce. A high quality Michelin 1 star!
Sutchie Y — Google review
Incredible find tucked away in a secluded and unexpected corner of Brest. The staff is friendly and eager to please. The cuisine is creative, artful and incredibly fulfilling for your tastebuds. It is a carnival of taste. The value is regarded as high and excellent. Highly recommend you enjoy this gem if you find yourself looking for a highly enjoyable meal in Brest.

Wonderful restaurant. Impeccable service. And the best fish dish I've ever had in my life.
Jonathan X — Google review
The fish soup was much tasty than some other places in France but a littler bit salty. Other dishes were delicious and perfect cooked, seafood dish was huge for 2 persons 😅😅.❤️❤️ BTW: there are few restaurants open on Sunday and Monday in Brest. 😅😅

A lovely restaurant. Very busy at peak times so book ahead. They have some menu sets so that you get a strarter, Main and a dessert. The food was delicious. I had mussels which were lovely. The white fish in a Sauvignon sauce and then vanilla and strawberry ice cream.
Sean H — Google review
Had a lovely French seafood meal here with some friends. Would recommend booking! We did their set meal deal which had a lot of variety and we tried their fish of the day which was really lovely. Good value for such high quality food
Abigail G — Google review
Fantastic meal at this restaurant styled as an ocean liner with 2 "decks". Service was very efficient and the food sensational! We chose from a set menu of which there were 4, at different price points and catering for children's portion sizes too. Would highly recommend!

If you have one night at Brest, and you are a sea food person this is the place to go. We arrived around 9:00 pm, there was a 30 min waiting time, during they offered us a glass of wine. The food was amazing, every dish was perfectly cooked and served. The service was kind, they took the time to explain everything in English. Highly recommended! Fresh seafood, great view and atmosphere.
Gon S — Google review
The staff was lovely, while respecting to the letter the new sanitary measures. We had a full menu and everything tasted delicious and fresh. The dessert was amazing - thanks to our waiter for the recommendation (you have to decide for it when you give the order because they need a lot of time to prepare it). With their different menus they accommodate the demand for everyone’s budget. If you spend one night in Brest, you definitely should dine here! :)

Seafood restaurant
Le Crabe Marteau is a unique dining experience where diners are provided with small wooden hammers to crack open the freshly delivered crabs from local fishermen. Alongside the delicious boiled potatoes, bread, and butter, various sauces complement the meal. For those who prefer other seafood options, the restaurant offers a variety of dishes based on the catch of the day and season. This concept, established in 2004, revolves around fresh and enjoyable dining experiences while contributing to warm atmospheres.
When in Brest you should try this original crab resturant. The decor is wonderfull, created by the lady owner. Sign your crab shell and have it placed on the beams somewhere maybe if there is a spare place. Once you have ordered your choice of crab, there are two, you will be served your crab with a hammer. A big plastic bucket is placed on the floor to throw your waste into, better than having crab shell all over the table. Luckily the personel are more than willing to explain how to get the meat out if like me your not sure. Everyone was laughing as hammers were put to work, and the crab shells flying around the resturant. Tables that are covered with newspaper are simple rustic garden style with matching benches to sit on. A really unique experience. My wife chose half a crab and 6 oysters, i had half a crab with 300grams of Langustines. Two desserts and 4 drinks for 100€
Crosstourer T — Google review
Great place for seafood lovers! It has an interesting concept: no formal menu, waiters just tell you what they have today and you have to choose. We had oysters and crabs, all was just perfect.
Irina G — Google review
Best crab we have ever eaten! Oysters and langostines were so tasty. Such lovely team of waiting staff, explained everything in English when our French attempt failed. We will be back before we leave Brest!!
Donna S — Google review
Excellent crabs and service. House white wine is also worth trying. Be careful to leave space in your stomach for a very typical bretagne dessert: Kouign amman pastry. Amazing taste!
Ignacio I — Google review
Original restaurant. Crab meals served with wooden hammer. All customers given a cover to protect them from seafood juices! All seafood served is caught the same morning. Beautifully fresh, tasty and not expensive for the meal. Great waiter/waitress service, knowledgeable, willing to accommodate all requests. Super. Top.
Philip S — Google review
I love the crab here. The flesh is sweet and perfectly cooked. The claws are like the stone crab if Florida. The flesh is as good as the Dungeness crab and mud crab. Wow,! I highly recommend this restaurant.
Somkietr R — Google review
If you are a crab lover this place is a must... It also has mixed and other choices... The oisters were fresh and very good, the crab was correctly cooked. It is not a cheap restaurant but it is worth a visit. Recommended to me by local people as one of the best for seafood in the Port of Brest... Better to make a reservation to ensure you will have a table...
Antonio R — Google review
There isnt that many places to go in this town on Sundays and Mondays however I am so happy I found Le Crabe Marteau. The smell of the Atlantic ocean had me craving seafood and crab was on top of my list. I enjoyed a delicious spider crab with many different mayos and small potatoes for €23 which blew my mind from a value perspective. I also drank some artisanal cider that was mind blowing and dirt cheap. Staff was fun and friendly. Highly recommended!

Marcelle et Morris is a highly regarded restaurant located on the marina, at quai Eric Tabarly. Although it tends to be crowded, the service is generally good. While eagerly awaiting its reopening to enjoy the lively atmosphere and terrace, patrons can indulge in a variety of excellent takeout options.
I had a dinner at this place and did not regret it. I’ve ordered the main course - La Belle Hampe Bretonne Grillé de 500 G and it was really fantastic! Huge course and pretty fast service. Ambience was fine. Provided Wi-Fi was regretfully not operational.

Best Burger Ever! Very friendly staff who were extremely accommodating to us four English speaking guests. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the best burger I’ve ever eaten. Both the classic and the sweet potato fries were delicious.

Very disappointed as they said the kitchen is closing at 14:30 but it was 15:15 and people where still receiving their food. I arrived at 14:40.. could not say anything about their food but hospitality wise they still have to do some work.. I just wanted a burger

Group of 6, had shared starters and each had double burgers, very tasty and good service. I'd suggest 1 burger as 2 steaks is very filling! If you're hungry definitely get the extra steak for €3. I'd recommend the cidre they have here, apparently only available in this part of Europe.

Le Tour du Monde is a trendy and chic bar-restaurant located by the port, offering an accessible terrace and parking. It's known for serving high-quality moules-frites and seafood at reasonable prices. The establishment has a warm and lively atmosphere, attracting both locals and visitors. With its maritime decor, diverse drink menu, and various moules dishes priced under 12 euros, it has become a popular spot in Brest.
Great location, awesome food and good service. Would love to come again before I leave Brittany
Mete E — Google review
Tasty dish of mussels. Great staff. Nice atmosphere. The downside is that they don't serve bread to dip into the delicious gravy, if you're not a French fries' fan... Worthwhile revisiting, though!
Jorge M — Google review
We ordered moules frites à la crème and moules frites au bleu (you can choose if you want your dish to be accompanied by french fries or not, we chose the fries) and then we shared a dessert - Kouign-amann. Everything was good, the portions are big, the kouign-amann is a caramelised pastry, very buttery and sweet. If you are like us and feel full after such a big meal, but still want to try local treats, you can share a portion, it was more than enough for us. The service was fast. For dinner, it only serves food after 7 pm. It gets crowded pretty fast.

Popular great range of drinks including cocktails and great views over the marina (if you like boats). Bar staff seemed cold and a bit grumpy though.

I'm from New Zealand and recently stayed in Port de Plaisance. Staff at Le Tour du Monde were so friendly and welcoming, the vibes were cool, but mostly the moules et frites were super good. Merci beaucoup!

Great place with a great View over the port. Good for meeting with friends over drink and a good bite. It can get a bit noisy but just like a bar atmosphere where one should not mind the noise but rather enjoy the ambience.

We were just visiting Brest for the day from a cruise ship and wanted a casual lunch and passed many places before deciding on this place. Service was quite nice considering our dubious French language skills. Prices were very nice as we shared a pizza and had some wine. We really liked this place.

Poor service. Disgusting and undrinkable drink! Waiters didn’t smile. We ordered our drink as a appetizer and they hardly had time to be served or food was brought to us. Mojito and pizza don’t mix well... we had to ask for some water. Food was okay but my boyfriend’s pizza was almost raw dough ! All the way through bad, we were in and out if 20mins ! Felt like the waiters just wanted to go fast. Very disappointed!

Diwali Crêperie Restaurant in Brest offers a unique fusion of Breton and Indian culinary traditions, creating an explosion of unprecedented flavors. The restaurant stands out for its gastronomic audacity, inviting diners on a surprising taste journey where crepe classics meet culinary innovation. Despite its name being associated with one of India's most popular festivals, the restaurant serves both classic and creatively original sweet and savory crepes in the Breton style.
An excellent meal! A classic Breton favorite with exotic flair. I had the galette with Indian flavored fish and it was one of the best I've ever had on both levels of taste and colorful presentation. The lemon curd dessert crepe was to die for.

The place was lovely, overall!! People were nice, the theme was AWESOME( If you speak French, make sure to visit the place on Thursday, where the storytellers go around each table telling them a French traditional story and it's enjoyable!) , the food was satisfying. I took away a star just because the food was served pretty late( I'm sure it was a packed time) and the dessert was a bit too sugary for me( it was still very delicious though!) It's a very authentic Bretagne dish, so totally worth a visit! The menu prices are not so bad either, they start from €16,50 from dinner and cheaper than that during lunch.

The crepe was good, but there is no intimacy between tables, one is in the middle of the neighbor's talk. Not a lot of room too. Plus the staff is not very pleasant, and finally we had to wait the way to much for a crepe that is super thin.

The kig-ha-farz cuisine is also something you don't want to miss - it's pure Breton tradition with the perfect flavor balance. Come and enjoy your meal in this delightful place, either in the garden or inside, in beautiful Brest!
Crepes outside on tables in the sun with good organic cider. Good selection of savoury and sweet pancakes. All very good. Afterwards you can walk down to the moulin blanc beach through the beautful botanical gardens.

Lovely scenery and situated on the banks of a little stream. One would almost assume that this place would be good. It isn't. There were rude servers (especially the male server), flies all over the place and the wait for food was way too long. The food itself was okay, when the order was correct. The server treated us like we were a hassle and was not helpful at all. Snide comments to simple questions or request were very unwelcome. The toilets were disgusting! I'd rather have used a toilet at a festival. Such a pity as we had high hopes when we saw the place. My advise, get a sandwich and eat it along the banks of the stream.

Very tasty food in a great ambience. We wanted to go out for a spontaneous meal and came across this restaurant. Reservations are desired but we were very lucky. Very friendly service and a very nicely decorated restaurant, which could also serve as a photo exhibition with pictures of birds. (Translated by Google) I experienced our evening at Hinoki as a timeless experience, a sort of gastronomic journey to Japan. And I loved it because in addition to the excellent food (nothing to do with classic Japanese restaurants, here it's something else!), there is the hypnotic spectacle of the preparation as well as the enriching exchanges on the culture around sushi. In summary, I can only highly recommend Hinoki, well done and thank you to them for what they do. Fabulous vegetarian dishes. Tasty and well prepared. The amount of food we received (the "Voyage") was enough for 2 people. They had a huge array of food selections. Prepared on site, fresh ingredients and did I say already, VERY TASTY! Highly recommend. Absolutely delicious. Very fresh plates, a generous portion, and lovely variety. I got the assiette voyage, which was a variety of vegan SE Asian and Indian-inspired flavours (along with some humous) - lovely fresh and crisp vegetables, piping-hot gorgeous samosas, cooling sushi-style rice. I would be happy to eat here again, and even the same plate again.

If you're on the hunt for authentic Thai cuisine in Brest, look no further than Thai Phuket. Established in late 2014 by Yurong Zhang, a native of Thailand with a rich culinary background from Paris, this restaurant offers an array of tantalizing dishes. From the aromatic tom kha kai to vibrant green papaya salad and spicy green curry with chicken, every bite is a celebration of flavors.

Honestly, it's just the worst chicken red curry I've ever had. It's all...pineapple. I said what I said. The portion is too small too for the price and the nems (aren't these Vietnamese?) weren't any good either. I think they also forgot my dish because a guy came over and checked my order after some time...what really annoyed me was when they boxed up my food, they threw away the lettuce I'd put the nems on (I really have zero idea why they would do this). Anyways, not worth the money at all. There's a Pitaya down the street for the same price and a bigger portion.

The restaurant looks nice but the food i had was not good, even though i generally really like Lebanese food. I had an assortment of 6 warm and cold small dishes and a kofte, and some lebanese bread on the side. The bread tasted old and dry, the taste of cloves was really overwhelming the taste of the lebanese pancake and the kofte, the humus was mediocre and probably not home made. I guess the only thing i liked on my plate was the salad which had a nice tang of sumac spice. Finally, i think it is overpriced: 19 Euros for 100g of kofte and 6 small dishes is too much in my opinion especially given the low quality of the produce.

I am reviewing the food, nothing else. It was abysmal, we had the prawn for starter, they were unseasoned and the salsa tasted like and had the same consistency as Doritos Salsa. Then the entrecôte of beef, that was something else, it was not rendered and yet somehow over cooked, half of it was yellow fat I could not eat, the rest was very tough meat that tasted a tiny bit sour as though it was on the edge of going bad (I am not saying it had actually gone bad, just that it tasted strange). First time Brest after a long drive from Reims. Still France but different flavor. Walking along the harbour looking for opportunities to eat. We are spontaneous people without a reservation; at least until it's really required. At Google maps the areal has numerous options to choose. Les Quatre Vents is a trendy place. It does have it's recommendations here on Google. So, give it a try we thought. Even without speaking an acceptable level of French we managed to get a seat outside. Inside only with reservation, outside just find an available table. Quickly we ordered drinks and meals. Both were served with an impressive speed. Probably we were looking so hungry; but I guess it's well structured and managed. The quality was very good, the taste excellent, and even the Gulasch of the Kids was remarkable (we as Germans can point out). All in all a perfect stay. Probably it won't be the last time we eat here. Merci beaucoup!

A regular dining experience, nothing out of the extraordinary. Could be that it occurred on St. Patrick's Day. The customer service was rushed. Surprisingly enough, there were menus in English. My sister had the Margherita Pizza, and from what I heard from her, it was delicious as well. Thin and crispy crust, well-spiced sauce, and plenty of cheese on top. Throughout the meal, our server was extremely kind to all of us, especially our littlest one, who he treated like a little princess and made her feel, to quote her, “super duper special”. Overall, this place made sure we were all full and happy, and we’ll come back for sure the next time we’re in Brest.

I ordered online via just eat. 30 mins later my order was cancelled. My fault, I should have checked my emails more regularly but u til I did, it was an hour later and still dinner for me and the kids hadn’t arrived.

Very nicely decorated restaurant. The starter was OK, but the rest very poor. The risotto was just one dry lump of rice, the meat was very tough to chew and the desserts were not homemade but still very bad. Worst tiramisu ever. Soggy and cold from the fridge. Nothing to do with a real tiramisu. Friendly owner, but did charge separate items instead of the menu price at first.

Amour de Pomme de Terre is a restaurant that celebrates the versatile potato in various delicious forms throughout the course of a meal. Located near the market, it offers a classy yet homely ambiance. The revamped area around the docks also provides plenty of dining options. Visitors have praised the friendly and warm atmosphere, as well as the attentive service. The restaurant's decor features butcher blocks as tables, adding to its unique charm.
Fabulous meal. So glad someone recommended it to us. I had La Dordognaise which came with a wonderfully cooked duck quarter (leg and thigh) served a large portion of au grata in potatoes, a roasted apple, a baked potato, and a piece of fois gras with toast points. Be warned that the "roti" dished come with raw meat that you coor yourself at the table on a blazing hot block of metal (or stone?). Yum. We need one of these at home in the states.

What everyone should try when in Brest! It's not just potatoes, but great dishes with many ways of having potatoes. Spent many dinners here.

(Translated by Google) Good dinner had at this place. Good dishes, plentiful food (you certainly won't leave with an empty stomach), really friendly and helpful staff. The three stars are due to the only problem that I personally have in this restaurant: the prices. I eat potatoes with a little meat and cheese, I can't spend more than €40 for two people (we bought water to drink) where the main course of the dish is potatoes.

(Translated by Google) I really liked this restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly and warm. I already knew the stands of this brand at markets or festivals, but the restaurant is also worth a detour. The friendly and smiling welcome was just as friendly as the service. The room is quite well decorated with butcher blocks as tables. We tried the revisited poutine, which has little to do with its Quebec cousin but which was very good. The piece of beef was tender and cooked perfectly. The bill was reasonable. I really recommend this restaurant to have a delicious and pleasant time.

La Coloc' Brest lives up to its name, offering a homely atmosphere with a sea view. The bar is uniquely designed with different spaces like a lounge, library, and bathroom. The terrace provides stunning views of the marina and Chateau de Brest. It's known for its simple yet delicious tartines and an excellent range of beers. The staff is friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming environment reminiscent of an old-school navy vibe.
I discovered this pretty cool spot with a stunning view of Brest's harbour. While it's not a coffee shop, the smiling staff made me feel instantly welcome. The unique decor contributed to the chill atmosphere, making it an ideal place to unwind with a coffee and appreciate the harbour's gorgeous scenery.

The whole area was mobbed from the maritime festival. Nonetheless, the staff helped me efficiently, despite my language barrier. The very healthy veggie poke bowl was exactly what I needed after several travel days of eating poorly. Radish, edadmame, carrot, white rice, sesame seed, guacamole, tomato, cucumber, cabbage, and some crispy onion topping. The pineapple drink was good and not too sweet. Nicely priced!

(Translated by Google) Wonderful. A real menu with regularly changing dishes. On the door, there's a sign saying "homemade cuisine." I was able to verify this, as the kitchen was visible through a window. A large team of cooks were busy peeling vegetables, carving meats, and preparing oven-baked dishes or slow-cooked traditional dishes like Tik Ha Farz, a Breton specialty offered only on Thursdays, much like a pot-au-feu: cabbage, carrots, slow-cooked beef, and a slice of bacon cooked in a cloth, accompanied by homemade vegetable broth. The remarkable oysters from Les Abers are absolutely fresh, opened just to order. The beers and wines are premium at reasonable prices. A complete meal for 34 EUR. Unsurpassed for this rare cuisine from true chefs. The place is very pleasant, not flashy. The owner is remarkable and listens to you as he explains each dish, with humor. This is THE best restaurant in Brest without the fuss of gourmet restaurants. Remember to work up a good appetite before dinner; the dishes are hearty and generous. A must-try that serves authentic cuisine, not reheated rehashed meals. Starter, main course, and dessert all on one menu, with plenty of choices, but not a 20-page tourist menu. A true daily special is a good sign, and the results are excellent with every dish. Go there without hesitation. A memorable experience, a true excellence. (Original) Formidable.

So.. where to start?? Yesterday i was celebrating my birthday so i took 3friends for a nice dinner and i made a reservation at 20:45…We arrived at 20:25 and we were sent back and told to come back at 20:45. We came back at 20:45 and host said to wait 5more minutes so we sit at the bar and took some drinks, after 30minutes we finally got our table but of course…waiter came after another 20minutes😅 Once he came we place the order with couple of appetizers like arancini 2different kinds of, some cheese plate and some charcuterie board and some burrata mozzarella. Waiter forgot to order 2 arancini so he ordered only 1 than we added another one, than burata cheese we got just on the side of charcuterie instead like portion, then we wanted to try some pizza so we ordered capriciossa..it was ok, nothing special but ok. The best part comes with the main course, so we ordered 4 tagliatas Di Manzo one rare, two MR and one MW with mushroom sauce and Gorgonzola cheese sauce. I think the cook prepared it all together so everyone got at least a peace of each order in its plate with all different temperatures…I wanted to say that this is a shame but that’s not all… once you try Canoli Siciliani than you will see what is a shame. My name is Gagi Palic and I am strongly not recommending this place because even after 5-6 bottles of wine we had there I still remember every single detail…Tiramisu was ok tho

Monsieur, Madame is a charming French bistro-style restaurant that offers a succinct menu with 3 starters, 3 main courses, and 4 desserts. It's advisable to make reservations a few days in advance due to its popularity. (Translated by Google) Very good restaurant. The decor is reminiscent of Parisian bistros, which gives it its charm. The menu is limited which allows for a quality plate. We had a great time: whether it was the chicken rillettes as a starter or the trout with lemon-butter sauce and home fries. The value for money was also great. I would happily go back! As soon as we arrived, and especially when serving our coffees, consulting the cell phone seemed more important than the customer. And unfortunately it wasn't good on the plate... strongly not recommended. There are definitely better options in the area and at much more competitive prices....Mr Madam I won't be coming back again, that's for sure. I haven't tried the fish yet, but it looks just as good. The desserts are often unconstructed and original. A must-try in Brest. This place absolutely deserves it's Michelin "Bib gourmand" designation! After visiting a few places in Bretagne we went to Paris and tried a few Bib gourmand restaurants there - none of places from Paris come near the experience we had here! The Chef here doesn't just serve nice food, he lives it and expresses himself through that food! Creative combinations, impeccable presentation, wonderful meals - absolute gem! Come and see for yourself!

We stopped at this restaurant by chance because we were on our way to get the ferry back to Ireland in Roscoff and we were looking for a place to have lunch. I just want to say that the food was amazing and the service exceptional, even though we don’t speak French and our understanding is very limited the staff was always trying to explain in detail about each dish and drinks that we ordered besides being the most polite and friendly people we encountered in our trip. Thanks again for this marvellous experience! And it is worth saying again, the food was amazing!

I have eaten here a few times over the past few years and always enjoyed the pizza but I have noticed upon the last few visits over the past 1 year that it’s not as good as before. The pizza dough is hard to cut seems either under cooked or just plain low quality as it’s hard to cut with the knives my partner noticed the same & it seems to be new owners as all the staff are different. Improving the pizza dough might bring customers back …..hope my review helps.

(Translated by Google) I gave 1 star because you can't give less!!! Completely dilapidated hotel, in a non-existent state of cleanliness. The common areas are in a pitiful state from floor to ceiling and give off a very unpleasant smell. The rooms are not better, the bathroom is dilapidated and dirty, the toilet leaks on the floor and the switches are bad or not fixed. The carpet in the room is very dirty which doesn't even make you want to walk on it with your shoes, the walls and furniture are stained, we don't really know what. The bed is very bad, not to mention the stained sheets which do not inspire confidence at all. The rooms are absolutely not soundproofed, a murmur in the next room gives you the impression that the neighbors are in your room. Men squat in the common areas which is not reassuring, especially if you are a single woman or a family with children. We didn't even stay to sleep after spending the day in Brest, we preferred to go home and travel 550 km at night despite the fatigue of the day rather than stay in this shabby hotel. In conclusion, if you are looking for a nice hotel in Brest, avoid this one unless you want to have a bad stay and you want to catch diseases and you will avoid being cheated out of 57 euros like us or more!!!!!

(Translated by Google) The particularly dirty and worn entrance carpets (dog hair and cigarette butts litter the floor) immediately make you regret your choice. Breakfast is very sad, a hard-boiled egg, a laughing cow and two mini pastries are automatically placed in a basket, for the rest hot bread, some yogurts and compotes, 20 minutes to refill the orange juice machine which makes you give up drinking it. In the evening I found the hotel closed at 9:30 p.m. although I was told 10 p.m. fortunately I had kept the code... well, I had taken care to ask for a hair dryer three days before my arrival and well, no one was able to give me one, neither in the evening nor the next day, the staff not being informed of the presence of such a device in the establishment. So I leave the hotel without having been able to wash my hair even though I have an important meeting, no one at reception at 8:30 in the morning to greet departing customers, it's simply shameful.

We booked around 11 a.m. for an arrival around 12:20 p.m. A warm welcome from the owner, the husband is busy in the kitchen, simple and tasteful decoration, in a vintage spirit made with the crockery and furniture from the old bistro. The most important is a complete menu at 18 euros, the owner offers us to taste the wines that we can take by the glass walyg 9 years old will enjoy a homemade lemonade at 1 € a glass. As a starter we will set our sights on a puff pastry with porcini mushrooms and bacon and poached eggs in a wine sauce. As a main course, salmon in spinach sauce with rice and extremely fresh green beans. For dessert tart tatin for Morgane and cheese for me walyg opts for a scoop of ice cream. Two coffees and the bill of 66 euros finally convinced us what a good time to spend in this place, the owner was very attentive and the chef, with his own frankness, took care to know our satisfaction. I recommend without hesitation, it is possible to privatize for a group of 10 people on weekends. I really enjoyed the quality of the food and drinks, and the space itself is very comfortable. Unfortunately, the constant pressure to vacate the table due to waiting customers, combined with the abundance of posted "rules," created a stressful and hurried atmosphere. La Petite Fugue café/crêperie in Brest offers an intimate and charming atmosphere, perfect for romantic moments or friendly gatherings. The delicately arranged tables and soft lighting create a welcoming ambiance. Visitors can enjoy delicious homemade crepes and apple juice that's not overly sweet. The owner is known for being sweet and accommodating, while the 80s/90s jazz/blues music adds to the cozy vibe.
It was the perfect place for a late lunch/snack, the crêpes were super good, very tasty and well stuffed (both savoury and sugary), friendly staff and cute restaurant.

Au Bureau is a unique and authentic pub that offers a great atmosphere with an Anglo-Saxon decor. Located at the harbor of Brest, it's a perfect place to enjoy throughout the day. While some visitors found the food to be average and slightly greasy, many appreciated the friendly staff and enjoyable ambiance. The restaurant offers decently priced meals and ABI beers in a lively setting by the marina.
I spent a nice energetic night in here. Lots of friendly servers. Our server talked English and was very helpful in deciding what to eat. I had the BBQ ribs with fries. They were delicious. I'm a rib and steak kind of person. The price was right and the food amount was also great for me.

Great location at the harbor of Brest. The atmosphere and interior of the restaurant is great. The owner seemed awesome and very friendly as well. Service however was very slow. Very friendly but slow. The food was nothing special. The Flammkuchen was burned, the canard croque very dry, the salad soggy. The drinks were very good. Overall a good experience.

Good food, friendly staff and fairly priced. Looking at the marina next to harbour docks. Give it a try, you love it. Enjoy cheesy french fries.

I think they were having a bad night and were caught out by the number of customers for the staff on duty. Food was good but not great and the staff were very friendly and doing their absolute best in the circumstances. The only thing that would stop me going back was the french karaoke that whilst entertaining at first became quite wearing.

I wanted something tiny at the late hour and this burger with finest beef, very delicious fried potato chips (the best I ever had) with a fantastic homemade mayonnaise (ordered just mayonnaise extra) together with a Belgium Affligem blond beer made my day! Knowing the very polite and open personnel, this place deserves more than the points shown here. See for yourself (fresh seafood is their speciality). 5 from 5 points for me today !

(Translated by Google) Honestly very disappointed with our experience in this restaurant. I went there confident seeing the good comments, it was a mistake. The setting is nice, calm and cozy, the staff is very good, the cuisine is a little different. For the dishes, pay attention to the photos on the site, on your plate it will be much less copious. As a starter we had the jacques scallops or should I say THE scallops cut into very thin strips with 1 cromesquis of rice. I was surprised at how small the dish was and how few scallops there were. For main course, we had a beef fillet, I asked for rare, it was medium. I know beef tenderloin well and I highly doubt that this piece is one. A small flan and 1 potato croquette (I don't know why they put an S for croquette on their menu) Frankly, no flavor in the mouth. The dish is bland and tasteless. For dessert, I had the coffee and passion fruit dessert. This dessert was not of the day, it tasted old. You can smell the coffee, but the passion fruit has remained in the West Indies. My wife had the chocolate treat... When we saw the dish arrived we looked at each other stunned... It looked like a mess in the middle of the plate with a tile on it. How can you serve this kind of dessert?? Summary: dishes tempting on paper but much less on the plate, small quantity and above all all the dishes are without any flavor. We will not return there. Please note, some wines have increased, the prices displayed on the restaurant's website are not those on the menu on site.

If you are in Brest or France in general, this is the place to go!!!! This was our first time in France. We had gone to Paris two days prior but didn’t have enough time to shop and go to a restaurant, so we chose shopping instead. We convinced ourselves that waiting to eat at a sit-down restaurant in Brest instead of Paris was worth it because in Brest, we might be able to go off the beaten path and find something for the locals as opposed to for the tourists. WE MADE THE RIGHT DECISION. The restaurant is surrounded by apartments and office spaces, off the main “tourist strip” so it definitely checked the “not for tourists” box. The menu is in French so our orders were shots in the dark; but we got three course meal for three with drinks for under 100 Euro. The staff was awesome and accommodating, the chef came to speak to every table, and the food was AMAZING, but most importantly, authentic! If you’re looking for a real French experience, go to this restaurant!

I visited this restaurant with a friend last Thursday, and everything was absolutely wonderful. The staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the start. For the entrée, we had Saint-Jacques, followed by canard and bœuf for the main courses. For dessert, we enjoyed a delicious crème brûlée and tarte au citron, both were perfect. The highlight was when the chef came to personally greet us and ask if we enjoyed the meal, which added such a thoughtful touch to the experience. Everything was amazing, from the service to the food. Highly recommend!

Food was amazing. Hospitality perfect - the head chef will attend out table to ask how the food is and served us the main course meal. Wine 10/10 Atmosphere was tranquil and fun. Highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again.

Le Boeuf sur le Quais is a French restaurant located in the heart of Brest, specialising in hearty meaty dishes such as steak tartare, juicy prime rib and beef carpaccio. The friendly staff and quick service are a top notch, while the food is good value for money.
Excellent steak meal for two. Not expensive for a great restaurant

Palace is generally good for a dinner. I’ve tried chicken and it was an average. Bread provided together with dishes was not fresh. I asked for the Wi-Fi and there was none. My friend has ordered the menu and was happy with it.

Best steak I’ve had in Brittany perfectly cooked, rich flavor, and amazing service. A must-visit!

My first time in Brest and we had our initial lunch break there. Dish of the day was lamb with cous-cous. I was a bit worried about the lamb but it turned out to be very delicious. A real dish for this kind of season. Service was great and really caretaking! It will definitely not the last time I/we come here.

OMG! The filet de boeuf was excellent. Best steak we've had in Europe! Plan to come back this week. Service was great too! Even if the wait staff was running around like crazy. No complaints (with the exception of verrrrrry dry cake with the whipped cream on the Cafe Gourmand dessert).

Great beef restaurant. There are lots of other choices as well. I've been there twice this week. Very friendly staff. A must visit.

It's best to like meat if you eat here. There's a huge menu with reasonable prices for food and wine with some daily cheaper options for those on a budget. My wife had the filet with mushrooms and fois gras, which was fabulous. My ribeye was a bit tough by US standards.
