Bakery
Chu Bakery, located across from Hyde Park in Perth, is a dream realized by the husband-and-wife team Ryan and Seren Chu.
The service was very nice and recommended almond croissant, I do not regret, one of the best almond croissants in Perth. The pastry was very chewy and buttery. Will come back for the vanilla eclair, also Hyde park is the perfect location. Long wait on the weekend though.
Dashiel ( — Google review
Chu Bakery is a wildly popular spot, and you'll often find a long queue snaking out the door, but trust me, the food is absolutely worth the wait! My personal favourite is their chicken baguette, which is always fresh and bursting with flavour. And for a sweet treat, you can't go past their Earl Grey dessert – it's a perfect blend of delicate tea notes and just the right amount of sweetness. Plus, their Earl Grey hot chocolate is a fantastic choice if you're looking for something warm and comforting. It's a consistently good experience, and it's easy to see why it's a local favourite and great for a neat picnic with Hyde Park across the road and pre or post yoga workout during season is always a bonus!
Apriry L — Google review
Ok I have been working nearby and coming here frequently....way to much haha. The chicken rolls are my fav (however if you have veneers or sore teeth be warned it can be a bit cruchy and dense some days - which i love .x ) and the pastries 🍰 are lovely. Nice fresh and made on site. I will say if you come here on a weekend expect to wait if at peak times as it is a small intimate venue.

-Raspberry Almond Croissant (AUD 9.50) Superb! Made with fresh raspberries (not jam), and generously filled with real fruit. The croissant itself was buttery, crisp, and perfectly baked. A delightful balance of tartness and sweetness. -Mushroom Bechamel Toastie (AUD 9.80) Fragrant and rich in flavor, packed with plenty of mushrooms. The bechamel was creamy and well-seasoned. Best enjoyed fresh, as it can get a little chewy if it sits too long. -Caramel Latte (AUD 5.80) Standard, smooth and balanced, though nothing particularly distinctive. -Lemongrass Ginger Tea (AUD 4.80) Standard, light, refreshing, and clean on the palate, but fairly simple in taste. P.s.: -Enjoy Chu items while relaxing by walking across to Hyde Park. -Tip: Come early, many items were already sold out by 3 PM!

Chu Bakery staff are so relentlessly friendly. Seriously, the variety of yummy, delicious pastries they offer is just unfair. But the real monthly life choice is their special, it’s always dangerously good and deserves its own pedestal. Pair that with their truly spectacular coffee, and you have a dangerous, yet perfect, combination. My wallet weeps, but my taste buds cheer. 10/10, bring stretchy pants.
Billie K — Google review
The place is very popular, it has great food options and the coffee is excellent. Everything is high quality and flavorful. It doesn't have tables and chairs; orders are for takeout only. But that's not a problem because Hyde Park is right across the street, another wonderful place you can go for a meal. You'll probably really enjoy buying a cappuccino and croissant, sitting on a bench in Hyde Park, and enjoying the moment.
Élito S — Google review
Definitely one the best bakery in Perth. Always a queue for coffees and pastries sold out before closing time. They always have something on special days. This time we tried them on father’s day and glad we did!
J T — Google review
Been wanting to try this place for a long time. Don’t think I’ll come back twice especially if I have to queue. Today we had the caramel donut, raspberry croissant, vanilla eclair, cinnamon roll, strawberry tart, and tomato provolone sandwich. Caramel donut: too sweet, caramel a bit too bitter for my liking, not balanced at all. Cinnamon roll: diabetes sweet and had way too much cinnamon, there’s no lightness to it, the dough was also quite heavy from all the sugar. Tomato provolone sandwich: for that price I expected it to have more tomatoes and slightly more cheese around the edges, not worth the price. Strawberry tart: base is not flakey and buttery enough, custard is so so Raspberry croissant, very delicious but by the end of if I felt like I just had way too much sugar, wish it was a bit more balanced. Vanilla éclaire is very close to some good ones I had in France, the filling is very soft and fluffy, melted chocolate stayed melted and soft for a very long time ( so good I brought one home!) choux pastry tasted very good, slightly salty, everything works on this one! Overall I think this bakery just lacks balance in many of its pastries. Personally would love a lot less sugar in them.

2Teeter Bakery

Bakery
Teeter Bakery is a small bakery in Perth that opens its doors to the public on Friday and Saturday mornings. Their freshly baked goods, including pastries, cakes, savories, and coffee, are highly sought after and tend to sell out quickly. Customers can also pre-order through their online shop. The bakery is known for its delectable treats such as savory Danish, almond croissants, pain au chocolat, and various cakes.
Teeter Bakery is a charming spot located slightly out of the way, but well worth the visit. The shopfront is small and simple, offering only outdoor seating. While the setup is basic, it’s perfectly adequate for a quick coffee break. Alternatively, a nearby park provides a pleasant setting to enjoy their offerings. The menu impresses with its seasonal variety. During a recent visit around Christmas, the bakery showcased delightful fruit mince pies and other festive treats. Savoury options are available too, including fresh baguette sandwiches during the week, catering to a range of tastes. The pastries are undoubtedly the highlight. With a wide and unique selection, some of which are rarely seen elsewhere, the bakery’s creations are as innovative as they are delicious. The pastries themselves are flavourful and well-crafted, with a complex taste that reflects the bakers’ expertise. The friendly, laid-back staff add to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Though the seating is unpretentious, the combination of excellent food, good coffee, and the option of a nearby park make Teeter Bakery a great spot to visit. It’s an experience that pastry lovers won’t want to miss.

I have never had a chiffon cake as light and fluffy as I have had at Teeter (don't tell my mum as her Pandan chiffon was amazing!) Anyways, Teeter is a cosy space in Claisebrook, had lovely staff who loved that I bought my own massive container for the treats. Basque was tasty, and the quiche would be the best I have ever had. Can not recommend this place enough!!! Don't ever change! #life_is _sugary

After hearing so much about Teeter Bakery, I finally had the chance to visit and it was absolutely worth the wait! Located in the corner of Claisebrook, the area might feel a little rough around the edges, but the pastries here are exceptional. I visited at the very end of spring, and with the Jacaranda trees in full bloom, the view outside the shop was absolutely gorgeous. Choosing just one pastry was a real challenge because everything looked irresistible. I ended up trying their savory scroll, which was packed with cheese and incredibly flaky, every bite was so satisfying. I also had their Kouign-Amann, and it was flawless : perfectly laminated with a caramelized top and a sprinkle of flaky salt to balance the sweetness. Such a delightful experience! I’ll definitely be back to try their cakes and explore more of their selection. Highly recommend for pastry lovers :)
Titian R — Google review
Perth’s best bakery, for me the croissant is absolutely delicious; I haven’t tried anything much, but I’m definitely going back!! Love how homey and cosy they are. This is a must for those who haven’t tried it yet. I recommend getting there quite early; otherwise, you're going to get nothing home because they run out quite fast.

Hope Teeter never ever closes! I love the traditional croissants, cozy community, and dedication to quality. Perths best croissants made with love by a small team.

I really wanted to like this place — I’ve had a few good pastries here before — but my recent experience was honestly pretty disappointing. I ordered a small hot chocolate for $6 and was told it would take 5–10 minutes to make, which surprised me since it was 12:30 PM and I was the only customer in the store. The two staff members seemed unsure of what they were doing and honestly came across awkward and unprepared, which immediately made me feel a bit uncomfortable and confused. After waiting 14 minutes (again, with no other customers in sight), one of the staff finally brought out my drink… but managed to spill it on himself and the floor. He said “ow” very childishly and walked back inside without saying anything else. At that point, I assumed he was going to remake it — but after 5 minutes, he returned with the same cup, now with a thick layer of cocoa powder dumped on top, and said, “my bad” as he placed it on my table. It genuinely felt like I was being served by a toddler. The presentation was messy, and the whole interaction felt careless. To top it off, the hot chocolate had a really strange taste — almost like Kalamata olives — definitely wasn’t worth the $6 I paid. It’s a real shame, because the pastries here can be nice. Hopefully this was just a one-off, but it left a bad impression. Photo shows exactly what the hot chocolate looked like when it was brought out to me. Super comical to be worth $6.
Katarina S — Google review
The bergamot and brown sugar financier was incredible - possibly the best financier I’ve ever had. The peach chiffon cake is a great option if you like to steer clear of extremely sweet cakes. I will be returning asap to try some of their pastries and hopefully another financier.

Didn't want to cook on public holiday so ordered the mixed 6-pack for early morning pick-up yesterday. Added sausage roll and savoury tart at bakery. All gone just after lunch 😋. Went this morning just after 10.30am and only a few items left ☹️. PS. Got there earlier last Sat for the fig danish, plum tart and mango rice pudding.

Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Maylands, Sherbet Cafe & Bake Shop is a charming haven for dessert lovers and foodies alike. This delightful cafe boasts an array of handcrafted pastries, cakes, and sandwiches that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. Drawing inspiration from the iconic cupcake bakeries of New York City, Sherbet offers an impressive selection of flavors including salted caramel chocolate and blackberry coconut lemon.
This place is loved by the public! Wow. I went in to get some cupcakes and it was BUSY. Decided to get my cupcakes to go because there was no free table in sight. The decor and furniture choices are amazing. A mixture of 60's and 70's vintage (if I have to guess). Cupcakes were absolutely delicious. I got the salted caramel and the raspberry vanilla and they were both amazing but the raspberry vanilla has to be my favourite. They were light and fluffy with the best icing! Will definitely go back for a coffee some time during the week when it's a bit quieter!
Tarryn J — Google review
One of my fav places in Perth - been going for years now. Coffee is amazing, bagels 🥯 are great - cakes to die for! Fresh sandwiches and food Very lovely staff 60-70s vibe Absolutely love this place 👌🏻
Reem K — Google review
My friend loves Sherbet and has been telling me for years stories of chocolate eclairs and red velvet cake. Today I tried an Eclair while the super sweet mild milk chocolate topper isn't a favourite of mine it was a lovely eclair. The vanilla slice however was dreamy , the snap of pastry that was also soft and buttery and perfectly chewy. The icing was on point and the custard delicious. Worth the detour 😄 and standing in the line that started out the door 🚪

Sherbet is a beautiful vintage style cafe that feels like back in time into a vintage retro diner. The cafe has a blue and white striped front facade and has lots of seating. The cafe has a variety of food available from quiches salads sandwiches through to cupcakes eclairs and tarts and so much more. We love visiting this cafe
Tiani K — Google review
Sherbet is an absolute gem of a place! Located across from the train station in Maylands, it serves - quite honestly - the best breakfasts and cakes in Perth! I love the vintage decor (imagine a 50s style diner) - it’s so cosy to curl up in a booth with a pot of tea and a slice of the amazing chocolate banana bread. I also highly recommend the red velvet cake, Turkish orange cake, vanilla slice and the avocado bruschetta is delicious! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, I genuinely haven’t experienced service like that anywhere else in Perth. And the owner Matt is so lovely, you can tell from talking to him (he does the rounds greeting diners) that he is super focused on good old fashioned customer service and making sure that everyone has a positive experience. I’ve tried many other cafes but none come close to Sherbet, I’d recommend it in a heartbeat! Best cafe in Perth, hands down!
Julie H — Google review
What a great little gem tucked away and deceiving in size inside. Food was great and considering they were flat out busy you would never of noticed based in service. Food was out really fast. Great service and food. Only shame was food/cakes etc were getting packed away over an hour before closing. So didn’t grab a takeaway.
Jason O — Google review
Looks like Herbert Café has new owners! The vibe’s a little different — front counter staff not quite as bubbly as before — but the coffee is still next-level amazing! ☕️ The cakes look delicious (a little tweak in presentation would make them pop even more). Still one of my favourite spots — I’ll definitely be back for that incredible coffee! 🙌🍰

Sugar & Nice is an adorable bakery in Inglewood, drawing inspiration from the famous Magnolia Bakery in New York. The bakery offers a delightful array of treats including brownies, cruffins, soft serve croissants, cupcakes, cookies and cakes. The decadent and beautifully decorated cakes have taken Instagram by storm. Owner Marnee Rinaldi specializes in custom buttercream cakes made to order and even creates special doggy cakes.
Alex served me, he has one of the best friendly, warm, open, generous thoughtful and charismatic services I’d experienced as someone who has explored many cafes all over Perth and in Inglewood. The best place for food to go with coffee, or fresh tea & sweets- the Almond croissant is to die for, inside is moist, not sickly sweet, generous balanced flavour & toppings- recommend for anyone who doesn’t like too sweet and wants a drink. He even gave me a free side of cream which I swear is the best cream I’ve had, and the tea is too good, can’t believe I wasn’t charged for the takeaway containers! Creative ideas done well, a chill experience you need in life, comfy seating, good prices, environmentally friendly, and it’s hard to find cafes with really good vibes sometimes! You can tell these people love their work place.
Exaireus L — Google review
Overrated cinnamon scrolls. Cinnamon scrolls were actually too sweet for me. They didn’t warm up so the icing on the top was cold and still hard. Also tested like margarine not butter. Cappuccino was watery not milky. Just gave a try and it is enough. 10 percent surcharge for the weekend.
S N — Google review
We knew the cinnamon scrolls would sell out quickly, so we placed an order for them, along with other items, before our visit. Overall, everything was delicious 😋 and we enjoyed every single bite. The service was lovely 🙌 keep up the fantastic work! The atmosphere was pleasant 😊 very welcoming, and the display was visually appealing. My only personal comment is that the cinnamon scrolls were a bit too sweet for my taste. Thank you for serving us! 🤗
The B — Google review
Very disappointing experience. I came all the way from Sydney, excited to try this place, only to find out they were only serving coffee and leftover stale pastries that day. I was really looking forward to their cinnamon scroll after hearing great things, but they didn’t have any. Instead, the staff offered me a version topped with cookie dough, saying it was the same base as their usual cinnamon scroll. Unfortunately, it was overly sweet, the cookie was dry, and the scroll itself was stale—not freshly baked or warmed up. I do appreciate the creativity behind the concept, especially with the recent trend of cookie hybrids (cookie in a croissant, cookie in a brownie, etc.), but the execution here didn’t work. The only redeeming part of the visit was the coffee, which was actually quite good.
S Q — Google review
Sugar & Nice: A Sweet Local Gem! Sugar & Nice is an absolute delight and truly a local neighborhood gem! The coffee is great, but what really sets this place apart are the excellent baked goods and the wonderfully friendly, warm staff. My absolute favorites are the plain croissant, the irresistible cinnamon scrolls, and their amazing portokalopita. And for something savory, the ham and cheese croissant with béchamel is simply divine. Don't forget to try their kouign-amann too! Sugar & Nice is a must-visit for anyone in the area. Great to sit outdoors or indoors.

How freaking cute is this shop. The staff are very welcoming and the decor is cheerful and whimsical. I came from freo to get my hands on the ever popular cinny scrolls and they did not disappoint. Also had to get a couple of the best ever choc chip cookies I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy. Definitely a must stop for a nice sweet treat.
Kayla R — Google review
I stopped in at sugar and nice to have a brunchy snack. The staff here are always super lovely, engaging patrons with just enough warmth to make the place inviting and pleasant. The Croque Monsieur I ordered was promptly brought to my table and was perfect in its composition of flavours and texture. The cheese was perfectly melty, the ham perfectly hammy. Will Croque again next time I roll by. Update to my post 2025-10-08 – Sugar and Nice | Oatmilk Piccolo Espresso Café: Sugar and Nice Barista: Alex Time: 11:49 AM Drink: Oatmilk Piccolo Espresso Tasting notes: Beautifully balanced cup — bright yet controlled acidity, rounded body, and abundant sweetness. Chocolate undertones with a lingering, almost effervescent sparkle in the finish. Observations: A benchmark-level piccolo for balance and clarity. Compared to home brews, it leans richer and more syrupy, with the milk integration amplifying sweetness without muting the coffee’s liveliness. Excellent reference point for future espresso texture calibration.

Breakfast restaurant
North Street Store in Cottesloe has been making waves with its award-winning bread, earning the titles of Champion Loaf and Champion Artisan Bread. Despite initial skepticism from locals, this bakery has become a beloved establishment known for its delectable offerings. From their renowned cinnamon buns to their impressive fougasse, there's something for everyone. In addition to their baked goods, North Street Store also offers savory options like gnocchi with fresh pesto and grilled lemongrass chicken.
Took a bite of the hot roll and it immediately ranks the best sandwich in Perth in my opinion… Everything inside looked fresh and made with so much care. I can’t wait to try the whole menu!

Heard this place had been voted best cinnamon scrolls so had to check it out. Cinnamon scroll a bit to buttery for my tastes worth the price$6.60 it's huge. Hey u have to try

Going to North Street Store has quickly become a weekend ritual. The contis are hands down the best in Perth. Fresh, packed with flavour, and always spot on. Their specials are also awesome, constantly changing and always delicious. Couldn’t recommend it more!

We got the Iced latte, Cappuccino, Cinnamon Scroll 😍 My mum from korea she absolutely loved it! Amazing customer service and friendly staffs and a lot of options to choose from! I will def be back in future 💚
Jaesun R — Google review
The most overhyped cinnamon scroll I’ve eaten in Perth. Tasted like a bread roll with a sprinkling of cinnamon. Barely sweet. Young girl that served me looks like she hates her life/job - she shouldn’t be in customer service. No seating anywhere. Have to eat on the street or the car like a hobo.
Alekscee — Google review
I got the plain croissant which was huge and not bad! It was buttery and light but would have been even nicer if I heated it up. I also got the strawberry lemonade which was a lil too sweet for my taste but still great (i would prefer a tad bit more lime juice)! Service was great and they offer a mch larger selection than what i choose. Definitely be bk to try more Update: Came back to try the sausage egg muffin and unfortunately it wasnt really great. the egg was burnt, the sausage patty lacked seasoning and just quite greasy. Not sure if that was the muffin but it seemed like just a regular roll. I still like their other bakes but this was thoroughly disappointing.

5 stars – all thanks to the cinnamon scrolls! ⭐😍 Easily the best in Perth. Good thing they’re that amazing — they definitely make up for the coffee!

Bittersweet Bake is a bakery located in Mosman Park that specialises in cakes with interesting and unique flavour combinations. They also have a range of other pastry options such as quiches, baguettes, and pastries. Everything is made from scratch using locally grown produce whenever possible to support local businesses.
Always a treat travelling to this perfect bakery where the baked goodies are made to perfection. Today the choices were lemon curd and poppy seed, coconut and almond raspberry cakes along with a blueberry friand and lemon tart which is an all time favourite. Can’t wait to come back again!

Bon & Erin and their team are amazing. Their baking is consistently gorgeous, delicious and fresh. Everything they make is outstanding. My ‘usual’ is the pumpkin bagel. I adore the lemon tart, passionfruit tart with Italian meringue, raspberry chocolate cake, friands topped with cheesecake icing.

What a wonderful addition to the George Street precinct of East Freo. Delicious quality cakes and pastries 😋 interiors have an old school vintage vibe. Relaxed here whilst watching the world go by. Coffee was great too. We will be back!

We love all their desserts, the tarts and friands taste amazing. I don't live close by, but I'd like to drive all the way to buy the pastry from them. And also they make gorgeous birthday cakes.

Just met the great new Barista at Bittersweet - fast and fantastic! And putting the hospitality back into the hospo 👏 I have to say, the staff here always impress! And they have that one rarest quality going around town: a great sense of humour and an honest smile on their face! Good stuff guys!

Came over here for the first time and was blown away by the products and the service. All the cake and bakery options was amazing. I ordered two tarts and couldn't hold myself back before taking a photo. Tastes as amazing as it looks. Serves coffee too, which is above average but not the star of the show. I also ordered cake for a birthday and that too was SPECTACULAR!! Just typing this is making me hungry. I need to go back as soon as I finish this review....

Miller + Baker is a beloved inner-city bakery in Perth that has captured the hearts of locals. The owners, Rachel and Mark Taylor, demonstrate their care for the community by milling their own flour in-house to create flavorful and nutritious breads, sandwiches, and pastries. They also host fundraisers for causes close to their hearts.
Miller and Baker is a standout bakery and flour mill in Perth, known for its dedication to high-quality, locally sourced grains that are milled on-site. Their focus on fresh, stone-milled flour shines through in their expertly crafted sourdough bread, pastries, and baked goods. I ordered the cardamom bun, and it was delicious—full of flavor and perfectly balanced. Every bite had a warm, aromatic spice that made it truly memorable. The coffee was equally amazing, complementing the pastry beautifully. Beyond the food, Miller and Baker offers a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great spot to sit and enjoy a well-made pastry and a great cup of coffee. With its commitment to quality and craftsmanship, it’s no surprise that this bakery has such a strong reputation. If you appreciate freshly milled flour, top-notch baked goods, and excellent coffee, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Amazing experience at Miller and Baker!Friendly, attentive service and delicious, fresh flavors. Their pastries are heavenly, bread is artisan-perfect, and coffee is rich and smooth. Every visit feels special thanks to the warm atmosphere and top-quality treats. A must-visit—I’ll be back often! Highly recommend!

We found ourselves at Miller + Baker on a busy morning and had to wait in line to get in — always a good sign when people are willing to queue. The café sits in a great spot, but seating is limited: a handful of tables outside and only a few inside, which makes it feel quite tight. The vibe though is buzzing and energetic, definitely adds to the experience. Service was decent, nothing over the top but smooth enough to keep things moving. What we tried: • Rainbow Sandwich – decent, but the focaccia got chewy pretty quickly and overall lacked flavour. 3/5 • Orange & Fennel Bun – again, decent, but nothing that really stood out. 3/5 • Iced Latte – slightly off balance, leaning a bit too bitter. 3/5 • Iced Mocha – fell flat with no sweetness to lift it. 2.5/5 Overall, I’d say Miller + Baker is worth a visit for the energy and atmosphere, but the food and coffee didn’t wow me this time. 3/5

Such a gorgeous community cafe/bakery, I was so impressed with the fact they mill the flour from scratch. The most delicious, fresh pastries and coffee accompanied with the loveliest staff who make you feel so welcome in Perth! I especially loved their signature cardamon bun!

I would say Miller + Baker is one of our perth trip highlights. Woke up early to try this well praised cafe in the cbd and our 30 min walk was so well worth it! Freshly milled flour hits different 👏 I had the poached chicken sandwich (8/10) while my husband had the egg + bacon (11/10). Also bought their choc chip cookie, pistachio rubharb, and pain au chocolat for some munchies during our ferry ride to rottnest. They also have an in house store selling local produce. If only I had the time to try everything 🥲 Definitely going back here 💜

When you’re feeling under the weather, everything can seem a bit off, but the croissant from this bakery is truly a life-saver. Its crispness, delicate flavor, and buttery goodness bring me back to life. Ordering is quick and easy, especially in the early morning when they open up bright and early. I love watching the fresh pastries come out of the oven, filling the air with their irresistible aroma. I can’t wait to try their bread pudding next! 🤫

We did tried sourdough @ Wildfower. It's very excellent. Thus, we came here for takeaway. There were traditional croissants ($6.5) left and Focaccia ($7) . No much left before 1pm. The Croissant was flaky and crispy outside and airy inside. Come here earlier next time.

We are on holidays from the Uk visiting my daughter . We were recommended by one of her friends to come for a coffee . When we saw the cakes we couldn’t resist them and we had carrot cake . I returned and tried the Portuguese tart a few days later . They were delicious . I also bought some chocolate granola that I enjoyed daily travelling around the south west on my morning fruit . Definitely a lovely bakery that I will remember for a long time . Staff were very helpful . Looking forward to the sandwich I bought for the airport later

Bakery
Wild Bakery, located in South Fremantle, is a haven for those seeking stomach-friendly bread options. Their sourdoughs are baked using traditional fermenting methods, making them easier to digest without compromising on taste. In addition to their delicious loaves, the bakery offers delectable treats such as almond croissants and pork and fennel sausage rolls. The passion project prides itself on specializing in naturally fermented sourdough breads that cater to gluten-intolerant customers.
Wow! A good friend of mine who is also a foodie who lives 1 suburb away actually recommended this place to me for pastries and bread. When I was in the neighborhood, I took a chance and went there (despite it being after lunch). Boy he was spot on! This bakery is wonderful and yummy! Which is not a surprise for Inglewood. I should have bought more, dang i! Despite the "higher" price (ahem), the ham and cheese croissant was heavenly! Super crusty yummy. I think they used Gouda cheese as well (can't be sure). The chocolate hazelnut nut was also magnificent. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area..... Can't wait!
J T — Google review
The almond croissant was one of the, if not the best almond croissant I have ever eaten. Now that’s a big claim which I don’t make lightly. Coffee was great but I feel 95% of coffee in Perth is. The takeaway cups had cool patterns so that’s a plus.
Robert P — Google review
So delicious! The pastries were fresh, packed with flavor, and just the right amount of sweetness. My favorite was the bee sting—usually not a pastry you’d rave about, but this one was something special! The salted caramel chocolate tart was a total winner too. We chowed down in the car, and when the bearded staff guy walked by, his nod confirmed what we already knew: those pastries were absolute perfection! Can't wait to get back and try some more!

Amazing bakery for a quick breakie on the way to the beach. Surprisingly there were quite a few spots to sit outside. We enjoyed the ham & cheese croissant, hazelnut chocolate croissant and the brownie. Breads looked awesome too. Coffee was only OK but nice to have the option on site to enjoy on the spot with the pastries. Sandwiches, quiche, sausage rolls and all the other pastries all looked proper. Would definitely come back to try more.

Ordered catering for 40 farmers through Wild Bakery and it was amazing, everyone loved it! The service was great picking it all up the day before, everything was organised and ready to go packed on crates for easy transport. Would definitely order again.

Posting this review after visiting the place around 4 times. Discovered this quaint little bakery around 6 months back while looking for a breakfast place in Fremantle. I pride myself on spotting great bakeries, and this was no exception. They have a wide selection of breads, savoury baked goods and desserts. They also have some great selection of thin crust pizzas slices. To complement that, they boast a great coffee menu and some decent lemonades and kombuchas. Let’s get into it in detail. It’s not a huge bakery, so the seating is extremely limited, and it can get difficult to eat here if it’s a sunny day, but it’s bakery food, so we made it work. The ambience is a decent 3.5/5 Now the food. Below are the things we have tried so far: 1. Almond Croissant: Rich, buttery, flaky and delicious. 4.5/5 2. Pain au chocolates: Flaky with a some smooth dark chocolate. Could be a little more fresh though. 4/5 3. Orange cake: Super moist to the last bite. Loved it 5/5 4. Margarita slice: Crust was nice and thin. Not as well done as I like and a bit chewy since it stays in the display and is reheated. Also, a bit on the oily side. Since I am a pizza fanatic, I will rate this a 3/5 5. Fruit pie: Good. Nothing spectacular, but gets the job done. 4/5 6: Coffee: Good 4/5 We have also tried their while wheat bread loaf. It’s quite good. 4/5 All in all, it’s a solid 4/5 for their food. Try their croissants and baked stuff. Pizzas are a bit of a let down. The service was also decent. Nothing standout but nothing to complain about. :) 4/5

Had the pork and fennel roll which I thought tasted really nice, was still quite warm once we got a seat. The roll itself wasn't overcooked or burnt and to my surprise there was cheese mixed in with the meat which added great flavour. There isn't much shade outside so if you do go on a warm day like we did and want to sit outside, stay sun safe.

Sooooo good!! In my mind - this IS a bakery. Breads that are so far removed from the big supermarket fare - simple, healthy and tasty, if you’re after classic sour-dough bread and correctly made croissants etc, this is your destination. Added to this great coffee, great (brilliant) service and a terrific atmosphere the Wild Bakery stores are on point in all aspects…. Highly recommend

Everyday Bread, a popular bakery that started as a wholesale business, has gained a cult following for its impressive bread. The addition of a retail shopfront allows customers to enjoy fresh loaves in the afternoon. The Fougasse and pumpkin bloomer are highly recommended by patrons who praise the chewy texture and real sourdough taste. Despite potential wait times, visitors find the variety and quality well worth it.
The pastries here are so so good! I picked up a few for friends and everyone could not stop raving about how great they were. Their Pain Au Chocolat is the closest to a French one that I’ve tried in Perth and is so good. And their Mandarin Cream Danish is one of my new all time favourite pastries. I love the variety they bring to the pastry game and the friendly faces of the staff make it even better. Please try Everyday Bread if you haven’t already!

The first time I went here I bought an olive sourdough and it was amazing. The second time I went I bought the same again only the bread was overdone and tasted bitter and unpleasant. The third I went I ordered a ham and cheese toasted sandwich, was given a burnt hand and cheese croissant, unfortunately I hadn’t checked the order until I got home. I feel really disappointed that the consistency is so poor as they clearly can make amazing bread when the right staff are working.

Best bread in Perth! The pumpkin bread is unreal. Great coffee and the staff are always sweet. I leave in Innaloo but it aways worth to stop by and guarantee delicious bread when I am around Melville. A big hello to Antoine that, when possible, is always attentive when I visit the bakery.

A seriously good bakery. The salami, caponata and stracciatella sandwich was amazing. And their pan au chocolat inspired treat with pecan and caramel was equally incredible. It's so nice to see a bakery doing the traditional things right, and also leaving room for a twist to try something different. Anyone who likes baked goods should come visit. Dare I say it, you may find yourself coming everyday as the name might suggest.

LOVELY sandwich roll. Bread is excellent. I should know, I eat bread like 2-3 times per day. Add that up over a 38 year life and this like, a billion times? Dr Trev loves this joint. Grain Bakery, a small family-run bakery in Lathlain, has quickly become a popular spot since its opening in 2021. The bakery is known for using decades-old family recipes to produce some of the best sourdough bread in Perth. In addition to their irresistible pastry treats, they offer a mix of traditional Aussie style baked goods and more modern options.
This bakery has it all. Not only a great selection of breads, but also some of the most delicious patties and cakes. I was blown away by their selection. There is a roll or pastry for everybody. They make fresh salad rolls, which looked great. The tiramisu latte was delicious!! The young guy was very friendly and helpful. A few tables are available for seating. Will be back all the time now!!

Have only been here a couple of times. Discovered this bakery on my way to work early morning. And have only tried two products from here thus far, a sausage roll, Jalapeńo pepper sausage roll! The normal sausage roll was a great sausage roll, but the jalapeno sausage roll was sooooooooo delicious! And the inspiration for my return visit, and many more to come no doubt! All the food here looks delicious, the sweet pastries look amazing too! I'm sure I'll be able to give a more comprehensive review in time to come. But do yourself a favour and try the Jalapeno sausage roll, amazing flavour, and great texture because of as well! A must have!!!!

Grain Bakery’s in Shenton Park is just as good as their original in Lathlain. The modern ambiance creates a perfect setting to enjoy their excellent selection of breads, sandwiches, turkish bread, and pies. The croissants are great, with buttery flavor that stands out. Their delicate cakes are also a treat, and the coffee is spot on. Whether you’re after a quick bite or a relaxing coffee break, this bakery has something for everyone. Definitely worth a visit!

Love this bakery, been coming here for almost 2 years. The coffee has always been nice but has got better the last 6 months I’d say. Cappuccino is very frothy and delicious (not just a latte with chocolate powder on top like some coffee shops do it). Service has always been great for me.

Grain bakery do a fabulous seeded sourdough bread but what sets this bread apart from some others is it’s like the traditional square loaf ( perfect for lunchboxes) and seeded crust, so kids will eat crust also. This is our families favourite . They also have recently trialled for next few months , the square jalapeño cheese sourdough, also such a treat. Great fresh or toasted. Highly recommend. They have several different breads including pumpkin which we have tried, would love to try others. They also do beautiful and delicious desserts some photos included.

Egg sandwich is very yum on the freshest white bread. Continental sandwich on multigrain was average and a bit soggy by the time I bought it at midday. Crème brûlée donut wasn’t really my style but might try a more plain flavour next time.

Great food, above average coffee, good service. Having been to both locations, I can safely say the service is identical. All these complaints about service are unwarranted and I think only exist because people in the Western Suburbs are far more entitled and feel like service people have to kiss the floor they walk on. It's honestly fine and I've never had a negative experience here

Located in Bicton Central, Hunter Bread has quickly become a favorite among locals. The bakery offers a variety of artisanal bread, including the highly praised wholewheat walnut loaf. Their croissants are described as having a delicate crunch and paper-thin layers, making them stand out in Perth's croissant scene. Customers rave about the quality of the bread, with some calling it the best they've ever had.
There aren’t enough stars in the sky to rate Hunter Bread. Artisan craftsmanship in its highest form, every bite of a loaf or pastry is a new level unlocked. Your face cave of saliva-dripping stalactite taste buds will never be the same again. It’s why you may see a line out front or smell your way out of bed in the morning. Straight fact: Hunter is a king and he should be studied & replicated. His staff are effortlessly the coolest cats in P-town. Honestly one of my fave restaurants in WA, fully acknowledging the point it’s not even a restaurant. That says it all. Pro tip: try the coffee if you have time to sit in and soak up the smells and vibes of this Willy Wonka boulangerie of bliss. Lots of loaf, Angus 🍞💯

The buns might just be the new 🥇 at our annual Easter Sunday brunch hot cross buns tasting. They were deliciously fruity and chewy. The unglazed ones had the raw burnt crust flavour 😋. Oh, the croissant and egglant parmesan were also 👌.

One of my favourite bakeries in Perth, I make a 30 min drive every weekend to get their olive sourdough and whatever treats they have prepared. Had the best BLT I’ve ever had from here, only issue is that you have to be lucky to get them as they have something different every week. Get in early because they do run out quickly

One of the best bakeries in Perth easily- most beautiful sourdough, highly recommend the Olive Sourdough. Perfectly soft, not over cultured and the best part is the loaf is still easy to cut the next day (if it can last till then)!. Mary Street Bakery has become a popular spot among Perth's breakfast crowd, with five bustling locations. The original Mount Lawley outpost is known for its veggie baked eggs served with red pepper sugo, labneh, and crispy chickpeas. The bakery offers an impressive selection of pastries, including croissants, cakes, and flavorful doughnuts.
Came in for coffee and was pleasantly surprised by how big the breakfast menu was. The fried egg cucumber salad was super refreshing and tasty, and the egg and soldiers hit the spot!! I also ordered the malt milk which made my day. I’ve been trying to find malt milk in Perth for ages, so I was stoked to finally come across a cafe that offers it! One happy customer here.

Stopped in at Mary Street Bakery Highgate for breakfast and it did not disappoint. The scrambled eggs with avocado were perfectly cooked—soft, creamy, and full of flavor—exactly the sort of simple but well-executed dish you want first thing in the morning. Paired it with a freshly brewed coffee, which was smooth, aromatic, and clearly made with care. Of course, you can’t visit Mary Street Bakery without trying one of their famous scrolls. Mine was warm, flaky, and absolutely delicious. I also grabbed a couple of their healthy cookies to take away, and they made the perfect guilt-free snack for later. The location is bright and pleasant, with a relaxed, modern vibe. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient, and the service was quick despite the morning rush. Overall, a fantastic breakfast spot with consistently great food and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping by.

Mary Street Bakery is a bustling spot known for its artisan breads and excellent coffee. On my visit, the aroma of fresh baking filled the air and raised expectations, which were fully met by the flaky pastries and strong coffee I had. Harvest Boulangerie Patisserie, located in the Doubleview and Scarborough area, is a popular spot for pastry lovers. Situated on Brighton Road alongside the Brighton Road Food Market, this bakery offers a variety of delectable treats such as organic flour sourdough with cranberries, sultanas and walnuts, and rustic lemon meringue tart. Their croissants are highly praised and compared to those found in France.
Delicious! My family recently travelled to Perth and stayed in Scarborough and unfortunately I discovered this little gem too late into my trip. Harvest Boulangerie Pâtisserie offers a great selection, which is tasty and excellent quality. I’ve been thinking about the chocolate scrolls and almond cakes for a week now. Will definitely make the effort to get back here next time I’m in Scarborough.

Excellent bakery, fresh and tasty. Service is quick and friendly, coffee is good too. I loved the cherry danish! Custard products are also all top tier. They prefer cash, so pay them with it! Only criticism is that a baby cino for $3.50 is a ripoff. Other than that, the pastries are fantastic.

A delicious selection of perfectly baked pastries. Took my 6 year old and he made some excellent choices for elevenses with his Papa. Plan to head back to try some of the savoury options and give the coffee a whirl. Stand out favourite for us was the lemon meringue. Be sure to treat yourself if you are in the area. It was busy on a Saturday morning but the queue moved quickly.

Where to start — this place means so much to me! I visit several times a week, and it never fails to brighten my day. The coffee is absolutely wonderful, and so is the pastry, but what truly makes this place special is the warm-hearted staff. Every smile feels genuine and fills the room with positivity, leaving me with a sunny feeling long after I leave. Also, the little almond muffin that comes with the coffee feels like a tiny piece of happiness — a sweet moment of joy that I carry with me throughout the day. It’s amazing how such small things can make such a huge difference. Thank you to everyone who works here for your passion, enthusiasm, and the beautiful atmosphere you create. Every visit fills me with gratitude, and I always leave feeling lighter, happier, and inspired.💚

* Hazelnut ?? Not sure about the name - 1/5. The hazelnut flavour is too weak and light—it kinda tastes like rice pudding. Most importantly: chocolate and hazelnut are the perfect match! Hazelnut cream without chocolate is just a waste for me. *Pistachio Éclair - 2/5. The pistachio flavour isn’t strong at all —it tastes more like green custard. The shell is too soft. * Mini Pistachio Croissant. - 3/5. The croissant layers are excellent—very flaky. The pistachio cream is the same as in the éclair, and it’s still pretty bland. It seems like their croissants are the real strength here."

At first, I was quite skeptical as it’s been more than 5 years since I last saw a rating over 4.5, let alone 4.7! However, I was completely convinced and satisfied with how the taste can go so far at such an amazing cafe. They deserve 5 stars! The quality of the Japanese and French techniques with their pastries are brilliant! I can’t wait to go back and try more of their recipes. I’m so impressed with the taste that it’s almost as if we aren’t allowed to eat it. I ordered a cappuccino, a matcha latte and a salted caramel banana danish. The cappuccino would be a 8.5, very yum! And the matcha latte is sadly not grounded with pure matcha powder as the colour is a darker green but it was still very delicious and mixed fantastically! That would be a 8.5 as well. The star of the show would be the danish. Absolute carnage on how delicious it is. It’s not just normal fresh cream on top, but they go the extra mile to create a new flavour and welcome the blend with the salted caramel and bananas! Consequently, they are able to give decent prices to the working class whilst elevating Michelin quality works! The little cupcakes that are delivered with the coffees are the BEST cupcakes I’ve EVER tasted! They were so moist and soft and a perfect amount of sweetness! Thank you so much and see you soon!!

Located just near the Luna shopping centre in Scarborough, and a stone’s throw from Scarborough Beach, Knead Bread and Coffee is a funky and modern café-bakery with lots to offer. It’s recognisable by the mural featuring large sunflowers and the words “It’s Gonna be Okay”, as well as the large ‘Knead’ logo in grey and white lettering. I dropped by there one Friday morning after my swim. Open daily from 5.30 am to 2 pm, Knead Bread and Coffee is clearly popular. I say this because when I got there, there was a line of people out the door waiting to order. Always a good sign. The staff are friendly, easy going and efficient, so you won’t have to line up for long – which is great. Along with a variety of sourdough bread loaves and a great selection of coffees, the venue offers an array of cold-pressed juices. They also serve up a host of sweet and savoury treats, including chocolate chip cookies, fruit toast, vegemite scrolls, and a selection of bagels. They do some unique items too, like the jalapeno & smoked cheddar scone. And for those wanting something more traditional, there’s the classic ham and cheese croissant. The décor of the place is very cool, with grey concrete floors and a light wooden façade below the front counter, with walls painted charcoal. These features give the venue a kind of raw, industrial vibe that works like a charm. Add the lightness of the bread loaves and the light-coloured wooden shelves they’re stacked on behind the counter, and you have a nice colour contrast that works well. I also like that their coffee menu is hand-written on a black board. It’s these sorts of features that gives the place so much character - it’s rustic but at the same time modern. Inside, there are easily accessible shelves stocked with coffee making equipment you can purchase, along with Knead Bread and Coffee branded mugs and bags of coffee beans. Add to that a display of books on bread, with titles including ‘Flour Lab’ and ‘The Sourdough School', and you end up with an eclectic and lively, yet chilled atmosphere. Oh, and they play great tunes too. I wasn’t sure what song was playing when I was there, but it matched the vibe of the place perfectly - upbeat and fun. You can also buy cold brew coffee straight from the fridge. On top of that, they sell Reuben sandwiches, ham and cheese toasties, and butter. Oh, and did I mention the icy pole freezer with a wide array of icy poles? 😉 I’m happy to say these icy poles are made in WA and are 100% natural. The toasted coconut and watermelon flavours looked good to me. Definitely a good option for those hot summer days Perth puts on. On my visit, I opted for my go to coffee – an extra hot flat white – and, since I’d been to the pool, an almond croissant. The coffee was fresh, smooth and tasty and the almond croissant was delicious, a good size and perfectly complemented my coffee. I really took time to savour it, and it kept me going until lunchtime! Along with a couple of tables inside, there are plenty of seats outside, with round wooden tables to boot. Plus, you have the option to sit on stools at a bench that overlooks the on-site bakery/kitchen – very cool. There’s even a sign on the bottom of the window that overlooks the bakery that says ‘Please don’t tap the window it scares the Bakers’. I really like this style of humour – it’s unique and helps to distinguish the venue from more conventional places. Knead Bread and Coffee also sells its own branded shirts and hats, which is a nice touch that adds character and makes it more than just a coffee shop-bakery. By chance, I happened to meet the owner, Robbie. He’s easy going and clearly loves what he does, which is so nice to see. Overall, Knead Bread and Coffee is a great venue that has something for everyone. If you’re in Scarborough, make sure to check it out. And if you’re not in Scarborough, head down to check it out anyway. It’s a great spot to sit and watch the world go by.

Lovely little bakery right at the beach. Perfect for grabbing coffee and treats and walking the foreshore to the whale playground. Croissant was crispy and moist, bagels soft and fresh! Yum!

Nice little bread shop in Scarborough, a bit busy when we was there. People line up to order bread and coffee. We ordered fruit loaf, seed loaf, chocolate croissant, bagel with sour cream and they actually make a Pizza of the day (sourdough) All bakery and bread were very nice. We also order soy latte which average. Nothing stand out for coffee. But overall the bread was good. Easy parking and access.

I'm a lover of sourdough and this would have to be hands down my favourite bread place of all time- I rave about their bread to everyone! My partner loves the olive loaf while I'm team Miche (?spelling?) It always has that perfect soft but chewy texture with that distinct sour taste you get with authentic sourdough. Their coffee is pretty good too! Staff are friendly and it's just an overall vibe.

As a part of Sperm Donation Australia Tour, I came here before doing a coastal walk with the intention of grabbing a coffee with a client, but the rasberry crossiant caught my eye, and wow it did not disappoint, the flavour the crunch texture was up there with the best I have had. Possibly better than Lune.

Nestled in a charming riverside area of Bassendean, Last Crumb Cake Co. has gained a devoted following for its delectable pastries and stunning tiered cakes. The bakery's offerings include unique treats like mac and cheese bread bombs and caramel custard popcorn doughnuts, alongside healthier options such as poke bowls and fresh salads. Customers rave about the Everything Cake, a triple-layered confection filled with caramel ganache, chocolate ganache, cookie dough, and Oreos.
Probably one of the best bakeries we've been to in Perth! They have a whole range of savoury and sweet pastries. We love their cinnamon scrolls, it's perfectly soft, moist, and just the right amount of sweetness. It was busy when we got there, but the staff were efficient and friendly. Can be really crowded though!

My family has been going to Last Crumb for the past 5 years and they have never let us down. I found them because I was searching for the best Cinnamon roll in pert for my mum because she absolutely loves them and Last Crumb had the best. 5 years later they are still the best and they are huge! I'd even say they are better than they were 5 years ago! They have an amazing variety of sweet and savoury foods so you will always find something that either you or your children will love. Their coffees are also amazing and they have some unique flavours too. The customer service is always amazing too. The workers are always so friendly and kind even when the place is full and a massive line out the door. These are just some photos of the food ive had over time. Unfortunately I dont have many photos. The food is just that good that I stuff my face before even thinking of taking a photo. Thanks again Last Crumb for always being a 10/10!!

Home made, high quality, big serves and very decadent. The serves were a bit too big for me but hungry tradies and those with big appetites will be happy. This place is super popular so be prepared for a wait on weekend mornings but the service is fast and efficient so you'll move through at a reasonable rate. The cinnamon scrolls with their cream cheese glaze are a hit with my work colleagues.

Last Crumb Cake Co.: First impressions We reached here after an hour long drive at around 11:30 am, and were surprisingly met with a queue of people waiting outside, which was a first for us (at least in Perth) The queue, however, moved quickly and we were inside in not more than 10 mins. At the entry, we say a bunch of directions to place the order, which was again, very curious. As we entered inside, we realised why the directions. There is a bit of chaos inside- it is a small space, and you have to be in the line till a server is ready to take your order, you have to quickly pick what you want (because sometimes you don’t have time to see the entire selection and sometimes people are just at the display so it’s difficult to see), and then you have to wait in the same space for your order. So people are always bumping into each other. So for ambience and service, it will be a 3/5 Service was quick but the whole process is a bit all over the place. Now the food: 1. Veg Focaccia Sandwich: The focaccia was nice and crispy, and the sandwich was beautifully made- juicy and flavourful. 5/5 2. Classic beef pie: The wife has deemed it ‘the best beef pie’ she has had so far. I found it quite delicious as well- freshly made, it was just the right amount of flaky and crispy on the outside and gooey and flavourful on the inside. 5/5 3. Coffee: Decent. Balanced 4/5 Overall the food was a knockout. Will definitely go again.

Proper meat pie, this one was a red wine and beef. Big chunks of meat. Amazing flavour and pastry. Everything looked really good. Will be back to try something sweet. So so busy but its set up well and less than 5 mins to get served. Lots of parking out the front. Not many seats but most people were getting takeaway

The pies and sausage rolls are amazing, they have so much filling and are really flavorful. The sweet treats are equally as good, especially the TRIPLE layer cakes! The portion sizes are very generous too so it is good value for money. The service is fast and friendly, they always have several people serving so the queue moves quickly.

I visited The Last Crumb Cafe with high hopes, and while my experience was a bit of a hit-and-miss, I'm not ready to discount this spot just yet. Our coffee order was a perfect example of the inconsistency, one was delicious, but the other unfortunately missed the mark. On the savory side, the sausage roll impressed me with its texture and moisture, which was a real testament to its quality. The major letdown, however, was that it was extremely salty on the day I visited. For dessert, the lemon curd meringue tart was absolutely luxurious. Sadly, this was countered by my danish being visibly burnt. Given the variety of offerings and the steady stream of customers, I suspect my visit was simply one of those "off days". I still believe it is worth another try. I'll be back to see if my next visit is more consistent.

I have to give two stars unfortunately. We went there on Sunday afternoon. Whilst taking order, I was shocked to see 3 huge flys on the pastries in the cabinet. Concerned about hygine and food safety I informed the staff about it. Was shocked by her response, she was angry and snapped back saying "we can't do anything about the flies", eventhough I was telling her gently. The staff wasn't too concerned with flies sitting on the pastries. I also find the pastries expensive and not worth for the taste of it. Others left good review so lucky them to have a positive experience

Goods Bakery is a popular spot that's been making waves with its delectable pastries and savory items. It serves as the central bakery for three other cafes, offering an array of sweet and savory treats to cater to every palate. The almond croissant is a standout, featuring a crispy texture and a delightful almond syrup filling. With limited seating available, it's perfect for grabbing something on the go. Visitors can also indulge in coffee while savoring the freshly baked goods on-site.
So these guys are awesome. Went in to grab a couple of beef stout pies but was given the curry eggplant by mistake, that was a surprise. Went back the next day and they gave me the beef pies along with a danish and cookie for free! The pie, pastry and chocolate cookie were excellent. Hard to get that sort of service these days, made my day!

Great little spot. This was the 3rd bakery I hit today as my Perth bakery crawl. Morning Bun: cheese, butter, and something else on a sesame bun. I could have eaten another one for lunch. Get it if you come here. Honey Cruller: good solid cruller. If you're a cruller person...pick from the options. There were also coffee and cinnamon options. Chocolate Chip Cookie: pick up two of these next time you're in. You will regret just getting one. These little doughs of heavenly goodness. Butter Croissant: this was good but I imagine it lost some of the magic as I ate it the next day while 30K feet in the air. Definitely need to stop by here if you're looking for a great bakery in the city.
Duane B — Google review
The pastries were quite dry and skimpy on filling. The cruller was decent, but not enough to save the experience. Service was terrible and indifferent; the staff(the girl wear dark green jumper) barely engaged with most customers, though one man got noticeably friendlier treatment. Wouldn’t recommend.

Decent coffee, amazing pastries. My wife absolutely loved their Vegemite rolls. They don't have them right now but hopefully they will be back quick. I am a big fan of their rye malted cookie. I try to stay away from sugar but if I am going to treat myself, it is my go to. Their chocolate croissants are really tasty as well. Light and fluffy just like they should be.

I really enjoy their pastry selection. I tried the parmesan scroll and custard apple crumble, both were delicious and perfectly suited to my taste. I also had a small cappuccino, but personally, I found the coffee a bit too weak for my liking. Overall, definitely worth a visit!

Aunty Lucy's Cakery, located in an alley off High Street Fremantle, offers a delightful selection of nostalgic grandma-approved bakes. Run by Pastry Chef Lucy Cosgriff, also known as The Well Rested Baker, this charming cakery specializes in classic sponge cakes and pies reminiscent of homemade treats but with a French culinary touch. The freshly baked cherry pie is particularly recommended.
So many delicious treats that it’s hard to choose! The lightest sponge with beautifully fresh cream and zingy passionfruit curd. The pastry in the cherry pie is hands-down the best I’ve ever had. And the South Beach Pie is a new favourite with the perfect balance of salty biscuit base and smooth citrus filling. Actual cake heaven! 🥰

☕ Aunty Lucy's new high tea offering does not disappoint! ☕ Loved the 2 hours of unlimited hot and cold drinks and that all food items were brought to our table at the same time, so we could eat what we liked, when we felt like it. The scones were generously topped with jam and cream. Would recommend! Thank you to the team for making our booking so special ✨

We ordered a big slab blueberry lemon layer cake (vegan, nut- and egg-free) for a birthday celebration of 40 people. We were absolutely blown away! The cake was delivered on time, huge, beautiful, and incredibly delicious — it was such a hit, it disappeared quickly and no one even realized it was vegan. Fantastic value for money and wonderful service. We will definitely order from Aunty Lucy’s again!

Aunty Lucy's Cakery in Fremantle is a lovely spot. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff are friendly. They serve great coffee and the play area for kids is a nice touch. What a stunning little gem! I love their cakes and coffee. I have been there twice now and even bought little takeaway for my colleagues and partner. The sponge and passionfruit cake is my favourite 😍 so delicate and soft. Not overly sweet at all. I shall come back and recommend you try the cakes here. The cafe has that whimsical character, too. I love that there's little blankets in a basket if you feel a little cold. But believe me, the service and the cakes will certainly warm your heart ❤️.

Aunt Lucy's is one of my favourite places in Fremantle. It's such a charming, inviting space - cosy when it's cold with handmade lap rugs and so relaxing in the sun dappled courtyard in warmer weather. We love the homemade cakes, scones and pies and slices which are all delicious. The salad sandwiches are the most delicious we've ever tasted (how?!?). Great coffee and drinks too (my husband gets the homemade strawberry soda with a scoop of ice cream!) Lucy and her staff are always welcoming and delightful, which is probably why we visit here again and again and again. Highly recommended!

Aunty Lucy's! What a vibe ✨️ This cute lil cakery tucked down tumtum lane in freo feels like a warm hug from your (trendy) grandma everytime you visit. The owner Lucy is so beautifully inviting and super talented. Her cakes never disapoint. I'm a regular for the vegan options, I love the vegan cookie and am first in line when vegan pie is available. I love that the fruit changes seasonally for the pies, you know you're getting good quality stuff 👌 I also had the pleasure of having high tea for my baby shower at Aunty Lucy's and it was such a lovely afternoon and great value for money. We ended up taking leftovers home we were so full from all the goodies. I think the most impressive element of this gem is the environment Lucy has cultivated. It seems to be a really open, safe space, LGBTQI+ friendly and I love that it attracts all ages groups. They've really nailed it 👏 bravo Aunty Lucy's, cheers so many more cake dates 😋

This new place down an alley way off High Street Fremantle, has cakes and biscuits that will blow your mind! Think fresh homemade cakes but cooked by someone who has cooking training in France. The fresh cherry pie straight out of the oven is to die for. The place and service feels like you have been invited to someone’s home for afternoon tea. It’s best to try to get there for morning tea, however, if you want to have a wider range of choices before they sell out. The prices are also amazing. Most cakes & slices are $6-$10 a serve.

Located in the heart of Perth, Butter Crumbs Cakes & Pies is a popular bakery offering a variety of artisanal cakes and pies. The beloved cheesecake and baked Basque are must-tries, while the banoffee pie steals the show. For those with a sweet tooth, options like lemon meringue cakes and fresh strawberry shortcake are available. Additionally, savory enthusiasts can indulge in flaky mini pies and comforting sausage rolls.
Came here for the basque cheesecake and thoroughly enjoyed it! Not a huge fan of cheese but if I ate that in max 5 minutes, that’s definitely saying something. And the giant cinnamon scrolls that tasted like a warm hug were only $6! A lot cheaper than other cinnamon scroll places out there. But my favourite (not pictured) was the beef sausage roll. Oh my gosh. The pastry was crispy and layered and a wonderful brown and the MEAT - oh my gosh. The most juicy beef I’ve ever had. Only had one but I should’ve gotten three 😔. Will definitely come back!!

This is my pick of local bakeries in the area - everything has so much flavour and is beautifully made - the sausage rolls, pies, pastries and cakes. Came here after hearing such good things on the internet and the reviews here but it’s clear that some people are too lenient or haven’t actually tried a decent dessert. As a sweet tooth myself I couldn’t help but be excited to try this place especially the chocolate peanut slice, boy was I disappointed. The cake itself was dry and when I say dry I mean dry as cake that has been sitting outside in the heat. The only savour of this cake was the peanuts which frankly speaking contribute a small portion of the cake itself. As much as I love to support small businesses, I would not be visiting this shop again for cake.

Phenomenal pastry! I walked in to pick up an array of desserts for a family birthday and walked away with $90 of beautiful little cakes that were throughly enjoyed. Every single one was phenomenally put together. While waiting for my order to be packed up I sat by their window seating and enjoyed one of the best mushroom pies I’ve had in Perth. Honestly words cannot describe the buttery, flaky, creamy goodness this delight was.

I ordered a beef sausage roll from this place. Albeit I’m not a huge fan of pastries, one bite of this changed my whole perspective. The crispy exterior juxtaposed with the warm, tender interior created an explosion of flavour in my mouth. And all of this came at an outstanding price. This place will forever be on my list of go-to’s when someone asks me where to eat. I doubt I’ll ever find another spot that lives up to the expectations you’ve now set!

Definitely 5 stars! I bought the weekend special desserts pack, all 5 types were so yummy! The basque cheesecake and the chocolate mousse cake were so nice.

Ordered a lemon meringue tart and it was quite frankly life changing, I didn't believe in a higher power until I took a bite of this tart and it became clear the people who baked it have been blessed with what can only be described as magical baking powers. I was served by Cody who managed to engage in fantastic conversation while ALSO creating what may be the best iced matcha latte I have consumed as an avid matcha drinker. I don't think I will ever visit another cafe/bakery/food establishment ever again.

The onion bagels specifically have gained a strong following among patrons. Run by friendly and kind women, this bakery has quickly become a favorite spot for many.
5 stars for having Amba. Some of the things that they sell can be found in the nearby Coles. In addition, I must mention that the bagels that I bought were not fresh.

My Local spot ( BagelO's) wasn't open so decided to get some bagels from this spot. Ive had it on my radar for a while but opportunity wasn't there until today. The bagels cost me $ 8.80 for 8 pc. So that's quite cheap but now I am not sure if that is the correct price or did i pay for yesterdays bagels? These were not fresh or made today - that is/was obvious. They are also thinner then the other place and not cooked enough. (boiled - whatever) Or at least not enough for my liking. Overall very disappointed with quality of the product. And I am not interested to visit again to verify if they are better when fresh or made on the day. Maybe they are made daily, and if that's the case then , there is an issue there. This place hasn't been updated for a while now... at least last century at some stage judging by the way it looks and I don't think there is a plan to glow it up any time soon, judging by the amount of produce being offered. The guy at the counter was really chill and friendly. It was the best thing about this place so don't understand why others are mentioning the service. Or lack of.

I popped in here the other day, had the ham and cheese croissant and the meat pie, as well as a flat white. The croissant was nice, the meat pie was pretty empty, not really a meat pie and not very filling. Coffee itself was good, first few sips I didnt like the blend at all, but it grew on me. Girl on the counter was nice, guy bringing out the coffee was not too pleasant, bit abrupt. They bought out the wrong order to our table but eventually sorted it out. Overall pricey but not too bad.

First experience review: We were starved when we decided to visit Croff (and it was on our list for a while now), but unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. Let’s start with the ambience. The bakehouse is located in one of ‘the most prime’ locations in Perth, and we passed over a few bustling places to eat here, but the vibe inside (like the outside on that day) was pretty cold. Just one person sitting with a coffee and my immediate impulse was to find something else. Ambience 2/5 We resisted, however, and ordered two drinks and an everything bagel. 1. Earl grey latte: Tasted fine but was cold from the get go. It didn’t feel like a hot drink at all, and I was hoping for something warm and comforting since it was a cold day. 2/5 2. Purple potato latte: Tasteless. Looked great but tasted of just milk. 1/5 3. Everything bagel: It was not your conventional dense, chewy bagel but it was alright. Light and the everything mix was decent. I got 2. 3.5/5 Overall a bit of a let down. The service was fine. No complaints 3.5/5 Overall 2.5/5 at best.

We really enjoyed the four cheese croissant. The strawberry matcha in a can is a fun and convenient takeaway option. The miso pork belly danish had great flavor, but the meat was a bit too fatty for our taste.

This cozy cafe is a popular spot for both grab-and-go/food delivery customers and those seeking a leisurely bite. While the pastries may not rival the airy lightness and crisp exterior of other pastries I've had, they offer a delightful fusion of East and West. The golden-brown croissants, with their innovative Asian fusion flavor profile, will make you want to come back for more.

I feel bad about this low review as I love supporting local businesses. We ordered two coffees - I had to leave mine as I couldn’t drink it, and an almond croissant which was not how I like my croissants (I like buttery, flaky and not hard).

Located in Maylands, The Woodfired Baker is a charming bakery that prides itself on the simplicity of its bread-making process. Using only flour, water, salt, and wild yeast without any chemicals or additives, master baker Andrew Ritchie creates artisan sourdough loaves and an array of delectable treats.
Our Australian friend brought us to this cafe which sells cakes and pastries which is so well done. Then we had coffee which was so good. One of the best breakfast I had on this trip. The atmosphere is amazing. Hot summer with cool breeze blowing at you while you having your pastry and coffee for breakfast. Price is reasonable. You should try it too as the bread is woodfired! It’s so sumptuous 😋.

It’s a hearty, wholesome loaf with a pleasant texture—clearly made with care. However, there’s one significant drawback. The dough is only left to ferment for a maximum of 8 hours, which is quite short for traditional sourdough. Proper fermentation usually requires at least 24 hours to fully break down gluten and other components. Without this extended process, the bread may continue fermenting in the intestines after consumption, leading to bloating and digestive discomfort. If Maylands extended the fermentation time to 24 hours, this bread could go from good to excellent—not just in taste, but in digestibility.

The beef goulash pie was quite good although at $9 it's a bit pricey and I couldn't detect much in the way of paprika action happening. Still, it had chunks of tender beef and not the gristly slop you get in some bakery pies.

Service was terrible. The girl didn’t make any eye contact and seemed like she hated being there. We said we wanted a sausage roll as there was only 3 pork, apple and fennel ones left. She said “yep, a beef sausage roll” which there were none left so I told her. The sausage roll was super dry and gross. Sat on a table outside that has dirty dishes pushed to one side and no cutlery. Not impressed and won’t be back.

The sourdough bread here is absolutely amazing. I don't think I've eaten so much bread in such a short period of time. I have used it to make sandwiches and thick toasts and it pairs really well with either! I also tried the salted caramel pistachio tart which was also beautifully done. Would recommend everyone to try their breads - I promise you'll love it!

Tanya's Cakes is a renowned bakery run by a skilled chef with over 15 years of experience in creating stunning wedding cakes and pastries for various occasions. Each custom-made design is meticulously crafted using the freshest ingredients to ensure a delightful visual and gustatory experience for clients. Customers have praised Tanya's vegan offerings, such as cookies and cakes, for their delectable taste and exquisite appearance.
I recently attended Tanya’s Gingerbread House Decorating workshop at Brookfield, and it was an absolute delight! The gingerbread houses were perfectly prepped, with all the pieces ready to go, making it so easy to jump straight into decorating. (Couple of hiccups for some houses) Tanya provided a fantastic selection of icing, candies, and decorations, along with helpful tips to bring our designs to life in an stress-free environmental. The festive atmosphere, paired with Tanya’s warm and friendly approach, made this workshop the perfect Christmas activity. It was such a joy to see everyone’s houses come together, and I left with a beautiful (and delicious) creation for the office.

Here is my testimonial. How and where to post this for you?- From my daughter’s very first birthday to my son’s 18th, Tanya has been part of almost every milestone celebration in our family—including my husband’s, my 50th, and many more. Her cakes are more than just beautiful and delicious—they’re made with love, attention to detail, and genuine care for our family’s dietary needs and allergies. Every cake she creates becomes the centrepiece of our celebration, and every time, she exceeds expectations. I’m so grateful for Tanya’s creativity, reliability, and warmth. It feels like she’s become part of our family traditions. Highly recommended for anyone wanting not just a cake, but a memory that lasts.

We’ve used Tanya for our cupcakes 2 times now and each time she has absolutely nailed the brief. Our most recent order was a rush order, I had realised I had ordered for the week after our party. I got in touch with Tanya the night before advising of our mistake and hoping she could help, she not only completed the order in record time, but produced princess cupcakes exactly to the photo I had provided. Absolute magic! Thank you Tanya! Party 1 - pirates Party 2 - princess tiara

We ordered 24 cakes for my daughters birthday, 12 egg free chocolate with turquoise icing and 12 salted caramel ones with turquoise icing. The egg free choc ones were insanely good!!! They were the first to go, so yummy!!! The vanilla caramel ones were lovely too but some of the kids didnt like them. Next time i would do all chocolate. Tanya nailed the icing colour, they looked beautiful and my daughter was so happy!!! Tanya was lovely and the girl i spoke to on the phone to place the order was sweet and helpful and was right that the choc egg free ones were so good! Overall, really happy and I would definitely recommend!

I recently purchased a cupcake bouquet for a work event. Tanya was amazing. She made my order at short notice, was flexible with my pickup time and the cupcakes were incredible. They were so soft, you could never guess they were gluten free. Lovely flavours and amazing detail. Will definitely be using Tanya again!

Loved every detail of the order Tanya provided. The mix of colours were perfect and tasted just as good. It was a very pleasant experience dealing with Tanya. Correspondence was timely and she was very professional. Ordering for a big group was simple as she catered to all our needs with GF and Vegan options. Of course being 100% Nut-Free, it was easy to order cakesicles and cakepops for all the kids. I definitely will be placing my next order with Tanya's Cakes. Thank you!

Visitors can enjoy a vibrant atmosphere while indulging in delectable dishes made from locally sourced produce.
This place is beautiful. Great atmosphere. Staff are very friendly. Drinks are very nice, the bread is incredible. Probably the highlight of the entire experience was the warm bread served. Great crust, soft texture, they really know what they are doing here. The pickles were very noteworthy The lighting is very nice, music sets the mood really well as well. It’s a bit fancy, but sometimes fancy is what you need. Would recommend

One of the best restaurants in Perth. All of the dishes are presented with vibrant colors, appealing presentation, and freshness from seasonal local produce . We’ve been coming here since it opened & it never fails to deliver.
Barrie T — Google review
Lovely dining experience at Bread in Common. The staff were well-trained and very attentive. The food was all exceptional, however, the portions were much smaller than expected and we were all left still feeling hungry despite ordering 10 dishes for 4 adults and 2 kids to share. I was a bit shocked to see a $20 plate of halloumi was a measly single strip and a serve of broccoli was only 4 florets and a serve of roast potatoes came in a bowl the size of baseball. It was a shame because everything tasted delicious, just slightly larger portions would be appreciated or recommendation from the staff to order more than one serve for sides.
Ebony P — Google review
Food, drinks and vibes were awesome. A lil pricey but quality is what you get. Love the butter that comes with our bread. We ordered the duck fat potatoes, broccoli, fish and chicken. Everything was delicious.

Food was amazing! The potato hash browns are so addictive, with the curry sauce, wow. The prawns were awesome too. If I could go back in time I’d make sure to save some bread to mop up the sauce!

Cafe PIZZ by Pizzaca in Scarborough is a delightful spot that has captured the hearts of many, even those who travel from afar. Known for its enormous slices of cake, this cafe constantly experiments with new recipes while showcasing signature flavors like chocolate mud cake and peanut butter caramel cheesecake. The menu also features an array of sponge cakes, fruity options, and gluten-free treats to satisfy every sweet tooth. Beyond the delectable desserts, patrons rave about the friendly atmosphere and exceptional service.
Excellent customer service, great food! Delicious coffee, had a Vego Buda bowl , great taste, loved the homemade baked hash brown with chilli beans. Tried couple of desserts ( they all are tempting) really liked GF orange almond loaf and warm homemade cinnamon roll( sooo delicious).

Used to come here a lot years ago. Not sure if ownership has changed or something but it’s not the same. Got the smashed avo. A strange flavour pairing of halloumi and honey and chilli with the avo toast, not really my thing but I did order it so that’s on me. Coffee was good enough. Service lacking, was just told where things were including menu, def a do it yourself approach to breakfast service. One thing that I found particularly annoying was that I was given butter, but the toast is covered in avo so rather than put it on the toast in kitchen, I’m expected to scrape off the toast and apply, then stack all the food back on? Yolk was hard in the poached egg also. Lots of flies outside landing on your food. Disappointing.
Colin M — Google review
the açai is just the frozen stuff you buy at Woolworths with minimal fruit ontop. I paid for a made item, this is just store bought with slices of fruit chucked on top. I know this flavour anywhere. The other food was good

Well deserved four stars. Really friendly and helpful staff, very welcoming. Coffee was great. Food delicious. A touch pricey. It's a shame when you get a delicious plate of food and there isn't enough, especially when you are paying premium. That for me is criminal. Otherwise fantastic.

This is my local cafe, although I don't even live nearby. I take two busses to get there, and have been returning for the past 3 years, since I discovered it. I love the atmosphere, the service is so friendly and nice and the food is always good. Particular faves are the humble scramble, the chicken and avo bagle, and the turkey roll. The coffee is naturally great, too. Plenty of parking around, too. Love the place.

Bakery
This small bakery in Northbridge is famous for their Apple Strudel, which is one of the best in Perth. It's a quaint little place with friendly staff who make freshly prepared pastries and biscuits to take away. There's no dining area, but it's totally fine- you can buy pre-packaged pastries and biscuits there.
Hands-down, the best apple strudel Ive ever had. We visited on our last day, merely hours from our flight. Had to hand-carry 5 boxes back home (to Malaysia) cause we needed to share the goodness
Nana P — Google review
Tried the apple strudel and chocolate cannoli. Both were very good, but not the best I’ve tried. The pastries were baked to a good crisp, and the flavours were well balanced.
Lucien L — Google review
The apple strudel is delicious, the puff pastry is very soft and crunchy. The filling is not too sweet, and you can taste the apple in every bite. The cinnamon isn’t too strong, but the price is a bit expensive – a small strudel costs AUD 5.
O O — Google review
Mini Heart Apple Strudel priced at AUD 4.70 has a crispy texture and is not too sweet. The cream feels cool in my mouth when I bite into it. Delicious! The Chocolate Profiterole (AUD 3.80) is just as yummy, and the latte is also nice at AUD 4. Unfortunately, there is no dine-in area, but I can sit on the park benches in front of the shop. The service is friendly. Will come back again for sure! ❤️
Sara M — Google review
Arrived at around 16:00 and their fridge was already more than half empty. Staff recommeded the Apple Strudel, Amore and custard Horns. Turned out I also liked their mini blueberry tarts. Would definitely come by again earlier next time to try their other pastries.

First visit and got half box of apple pie $22. It was delicious. However, the customer service was average and staff were not friendly.
LIN C — Google review
Friendly staff, spacious shop and many choices of cakes and pastries. The apple strudel is definitely a must to have. Even the custard puff is nice and tasty The shop has good location since there's parking all around the area. Shop close on Sunday.
Noorzidah N — Google review
I was strongly recommended to try this and it was worth the effort to go all the way there. It is a standalone shop selling the famous apple strudel and other pastries. I got a half size and was pleasantly surprised by its taste. The apples tasted so fresh! It's not sourish like the others that I have tasted. The whole pastry tastes so fluffy-light and it's really delicious. Best eaten fresh. I kept half in the fridge for the next morning; apples still taste good (and I wonder how they don't turn brown?) But the pastry has collapsed and not crispy anymore.

Located in Northbridge, Perth, THE HONEYCAKE is a hidden gem offering traditional Czech honey-layered cakes filled with rich caramel and topped with fresh ground walnuts. The cakes are now available for delivery on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. They have gained a cult following since their appearance as a market stall in 2013 and are known for their delectable pandan honeycake. The packaging makes it convenient to bring home as a souvenir.
Tried Honeycake a few years ago at the night markets and had a proper slice this time round, and it’s just as tasty and the honey flavour is rich. Although slightly on the high side for a slice of cake.
Justin Y — Google review
I love honeycake and take pride in making the best honeycake myself. Knowing that, I was still excited to try The Honeycake Shop in Perth during my visit. I’d heard about it while living in Sydney, where we are lucky to have Christina’s Honeycake. Stepping into the Perth shop, I immediately noticed the similarities to Christina’s: the color scheme, display fridge, and layout all felt familiar. I was looking forward to the experience and was pleasantly surprised to see they offer halal options and unique flavors like pandan, although their selection isn’t as extensive as Christina’s. They even had tiramisu cups made with honeycake, which was intriguing. I bought a small slab to share with my husband back at the hotel. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find the cake was several days old. The dryness was evident from the first bite. The layers were dense and felt more like they were held together with glue than the traditional sour cream filling. The cake lacked the softness and moisture I expect in a honeycake, and the flavor didn’t come through. I truly wanted to love this shop, but I can’t ignore the quality issues. I understand they’re a small business, and I hope they take feedback like this as an opportunity to improve. Best of luck to them.

Amazing Honey Cake in Perth! Rich, creamy, and perfectly layered — this honey cake is soft, just sweet enough, and melts in your mouth. A must-try if you're in Perth. Simple, honest, and absolutely delicious! 🍯🍰

I visited The Honeycake shop in Northbridge today, hoping to try their special roasted black sesame flavor. Unfortunately, it wasn’t available, but the visit was still worthwhile. The shop is tucked away in a small alley across from Kumo Dessert, with a clean and minimalist design that adds to its charm. I ended up getting my all-time favorite, the pandan slice, which never disappoints, and I also tried their honey cheesecake – delicate and delicious! The staff this morning was super friendly and made me feel very welcomed. I’ll definitely be back soon to try the black sesame when they have it in stock! ❤️

Stop by to get a quick takeaway honey for my man. The shop was so nice and cosy. The staff was very helpful. We went there Sunday afternoon and most of the cake was almost gone. We bought a small honey cake slice for $7.5 and it was just enough for one person. Very nice to have with coffee or tea.
JayJay T — Google review
The Honeycake is my go to for giving as presents and my take home gift when I travel interstate to visit my family and friends as it is uniquely WA. Besides the delicate and delicious tastes, the presentation is absolutely gorgeous. My absolute favourite is the Pandan and coconut flavour, although the original is just as delicious. I have also gifted these to my friends in Sydney NSW as they deliver via Australia express post. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The bakery is known for its delicious chocolate cake with strawberries and a perfect balance of moderate chocolate and creamy goodness. Customers can also enjoy a variety of panini, sandwiches, wraps, and excellent coffee at this friendly establishment.
The amazing team at dolcetto were able to make us the most incredible 2 tiered wedding cake. The piping decorations, flavours, floral arrangements and inclusion of our clay puppy were exactly what we were after. We simply can't thank you enough for all your hard work and efforts, we loved everything about it😍

I ordered a strawberry torta from Dolcetto for my mother’s birthday and it was perfect. The sponge was so soft and light, sandwiched with delicious cream and custard plus strawberries. Just delightful. The medium size was also very generously sized with roughly a quarter of the cake remaining. Dolcetto will now be my go-to for cakes.
Suze J — Google review
Friendly staff and nice pastries. I like the chocolate roll and lemon meringue. The chocolate scroll was soft. The lemon meringue crust was flaky. But the apple strudel pastry was too sweet for me. The latte foam was not smooth enough — probably the staff was too busy. Overall experience was great. Will come back again.
Irene L — Google review
I recently purchased a Black Forest cake and specifically asked if it was made with fresh cream only, as I really don’t like buttercream. I was reassured that it was made with fresh cream, However, when I tried the cake, it clearly contained both fresh cream and buttercream. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the cake at all because of the buttercream, which was exactly what I was trying to avoid. I find it quite disappointing and misleading, especially when a customer makes a clear request. Being honest about ingredients is important. This could have easily been avoided with the right information.
Faisal A — Google review
Dolcetto made an amazing cannoli stack for a birthday celebration with a range of pistachio, vanilla and chocolate filling. It was beautifully presented and tasted equally as good. They also made a gluten free chocolate cake that was just as amazing - thank you to all all at Dolcetto. PS the coffee and wraps to eat in are exceptional
Mary R — Google review
I ordered a mixed variety of cakes and was really looking forward to trying them all. Unfortunately, the Black Forest slice was very disappointing – the cherry filling tasted sour, the cream was hard, and overall it seemed off and not fresh. It was also falling apart in the box, which made it look quite unappealing. I feel the server should have noticed that it wasn’t suitable for sale or consumption. It really let down the whole experience, even though the other cakes were good.

Tina L — Google review
I REALLY wanted to like this place because I am a simple being to please, but personally I think it is overrated. The staff were friendly, however my matcha latte just tasted like warm milk with a slight hint of matcha. I got the Cinny Scroll which had a pretty good flavour but was super dry, the "Bubble Butt" was definitely a better product though, the coffee mousse was quite nice but still pretty disappointing :( I did go in the afternoon though on my way from a job, perhaps they would be better in the morning.
Madelen A — Google review
I have always like to buy the croissant from this shop because of the taste and crunchiness. But today my croissant was wet and soggy especially at the bottom. It’s very disappointing. It has become like a soft bread not a crunchy croissant.
Henny S — Google review
Used to love this place. Have always known that their croissants do degrade if you buy them or keep them for the afternoon (which is fairly normal) but today we went at 7:30 hoping for something lovely and freshly baked, but the almond croissant was chewy and tough, as if they had been defrosted or were from overnight. Over the years we have noticed that their formulas have gradually become sweeter and less generous with the other quality ingredients. So sad because their croissants used to be our occasional treat or guilty pleasure, but with no mouthfeel and sugary sweetness, you leave feeling just guilty…
Xin O — Google review
The pastries are exceptionally good, in full contrast to the service. We have been clients for 2 years and the service has gone down drastically. The last 3 times we went in the last two months, we left annoyed. It takes forever to heat up a savory pastry, the coffee takes super long even if there were just two other customers at the venue, and the ladies serving us a very short spoken and way over themselves. We’ve seen them be kind to people they are on first name basis with. 50$ for 3 pastries, 2 (almost lukewarm) coffees, and poor service is not worth it. Plus, their manager (as the lady appears to be) always screams your order. Yet again, exceptional quality and variety of products. Always some new flavours or interpretations to try out. But we would rather go NOR to get some reasonable service.

I don’t usually write reviews but I can’t stop thinking about the sweet potato & carrot fritters that I had this morning - so delicious and full of flavour, just wow! Loved it! Had the vegan apple pancakes first time which were delicious and then today had the sweet potato and carrot fritters which were really yummy too. Coffee is good strength and smooth almond flat whites. We also ordered 6 x maple pecan vegan muffins for a trip down south and they were so good and filling too. Usually had to share one with the husband. Friendly staff and great healthy selection of food.

The food here is excellent and made with real old-school love. They run a rotating menu at the counter so there’s always something new to try, they have a static menu with all the usual cafe classics and some different stuff too— all done really well. Everything tastes wholesome and grounded; even the simplest ingredients come out full of flavour. I’ve been coming here for a while and have a unique coffee order — they get it right every time. I don’t usually write reviews, but these guys truly deserve it. They also stock the good coconut milk brand I like.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, Coffee is shit house, burnt and the vegan milk made it horrific, we left mug full. Getting some baristas milks would be a good idea. Food was yummy but the serving size was very small for the price. Fine if your wealthy but not for your average Australian. It also wasn’t a friendly atmosphere The only thing they had going for them was the food unfortunately Definitely never coming back

The food always delivers on quality with genuinely fresh flavours, making every visit a delight. Their coffee is great, and the matcha is superb, making it a perfect spot for your morning pick-me-up. We particularly love the diverse selection of cakes and treats – there's always something tempting to try. The plain croissant is a personal favourite, along with the crepe with honey, both of which are simply divine. It's clear they pride themselves on authentic French craftsmanship, and it truly shines through in their pastries. Cannot recommend Maison Saint-Honoré enough for a consistently excellent experience!

I visited here for breakfast on Sunday morning. It’s already full and hard to get table. Luckily we got one. Pastry and breakfast was good but coffee is a bit weak. I ordered small flat white but tasty only hint of espresso… I hope coffee will be good.

I recently celebrated a significant birthday, and Maison Saint Honore went above and beyond to create a truly beautiful event. The food was exquisite, the venue was perfect, and the atmosphere captured the genuine French flavour I’d hoped for—both in cuisine and ambiance. With space to comfortably host my crowd of 60, it was the ideal setting for an unforgettable party. The staff were simply wonderful—attentive, gracious, and full of warmth. It was a birthday I’ll always remember, and I’ve received so many messages from friends saying it was a fantastic party.

Butter is the King here! Awesome this place close to the city and the train station. Pan au chocolate, Swiss chocolate and egg & bacon were very close to the Paris taste. They also have crepes, panini and macarons. The only downside is that the place has a strong smell of cooking, and after having breakfast your clothes end up smelling like it too.

The food here is absolutely incredible, every dish was a masterpiece of flavor. The staff were also wonderful so friendly and attentive, they truly made us feel at home. Plus, the location is a major bonus, just a quick walk from the train station. I'll definitely be back soon!😊

Really nice Sunday morning breakfast. We went about 10.30am and wasn't too busy, didn't need to book. The coffee was pretty good, 7/10 for me but the food was outstanding! 10/10. We shared the croque madame, which was epic. So tasty and big portion. I also had the French big breakfast which was perfect and probably one of the healthiest big Breakfasts I've ever had. Well done Maison Saint-honore! Brilliant breakfast, Merci beaucoup!

An exceptional bakery with top-quality products! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. A big thank you to Blandine and Jaya who served us with such care. Always smiling and professional, I highly recommend this bakery!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere, especially the high ceilings and natural light in the industrial setting. The savory crepe with beef brisket was definitely worth trying. We also tried the macarons and pistachio cake, accompanied by a long macchiato and flat white. Overall, it was a great experience and a good way to spend some time.

Pelican Croissanterie is a beloved bakery in Perth, known for its delectable pastries like danishes, baguettes, and croissants. While some locals may want to keep it a secret, the word is out about this spot. The pastries are highly recommended by visitors who praise their fluffy texture and great taste. On weekends, the pastries sell out quickly due to high demand, but weekdays offer a more relaxed atmosphere.
Pelican Croissanterie: Detailed review My love for baked goods in second to none, and I have been known to go to great lengths for some baked deliciousness. I am writing this review after visiting this croissanterie the third time. Pelican Croissanterie doesn’t have much seating—just a handful of stools outside-but the space is always buzzing with customers eagerly awaiting or enjoying their baked treats. It’s a happy, community-driven atmosphere. A few more chairs or small tables outside would make it even more inviting and comfortable. Ambience would be a 4/5 ⸻ Let’s talk food. We Tried 1. Truffle Oil Ficelle: A beautifully flaky, buttery pastry seasoned with truffle oil. Crunchy and fresh straight from the oven, though the salt level was a touch high for our taste. 4/5 2. Apricot Danish: Pure pastry perfection. The layers were light and flaky, the fruit filling tangy-sweet, and the buttery pastry just melts in your mouth. 5/5 3. Maple Bacon & Black Pepper Croissant Excellent sweet‑and‑salty balance: sticky maple glaze paired with smoky bacon bits and a hint of black pepper. Rich and decadent—definitely a treat for brunch lover. 4. Hot Cross Bun: A traditional favourite done right: studded with plump raisins and topped with a finely piped cross that adds an extra layer of refinement. Soft, spiced, and just slightly sweet. 5/5 5. Mentaiko Baguette — The baguette itself was crisp and fresh, but the mentaiko filling and extra butter felt overpowering for our palate. Fans of umami‑forward, fish‑flavoured pastries may appreciate it more. 2.5/5 6. Cappuccino & Mini Financier: The coffee was rich and well‑balanced, and the accompanying financier—warm, almond‑scented, and perfectly moist—was a delightful bonus. 5/5 Overall a solid 4.5/5 Staff are polite, prompt and clearly passionate about their craft. Orders move quickly, even when there’s a queue, and you can taste that care in every bite. So service is also a perfect 5/5 Overall Experience (4.5/5) Pelican Croissanterie is a must-visit for pastry aficionados. With outstanding service, a joyous atmosphere, and a menu full of high‑quality baked goods, it stands out as one of the best spots in Mandurah for fresh, flaky treats. Just remember to arrive early or be prepared to grab a seat on the nearby bench—and consider suggesting they add a few more chairs! Final Score: 4.5/5

This is such a treasure! The croissants are amazing. We found this little gem through a friend who gifted us a box of sweet croissants. We loved it so much that we ended up checking it out ourselves. I am glad we did because we found more amazing croissants. Our favourites are the savoury ones, especially the Japanese curry. PLEASE NOTE: Parking is quite hard since it is a tiny place only. Most days, if you go later in the morning, there will be a long queue. Try to go very early when they just opened. If you go later after lunch, the best items are gone. If you have to queue, it will be worth it, though! Such scrumptious croissants!

Delicious! Eat and go was the theme at this Croissanterie. Flakey pastry, fast service and had a place to sit. Coffee in my opinion was good as this is always subjective. Enjoyed the early Sunday morning breakfast here.

Sausage croissant was unbaked. It’s wasn’t good and sad. Also always cabinet is empty. Nothing much left so there is not much flavor to choose unfortunately. I would like to know what time you guys have most of the flavors. However we enjoyed mushroom danish and mentaiko bread.

I try my best not to go to Pelican Croissanterie… only because I can’t resist buying every single croissant on display! The texture and taste are pretty much spot on – buttery, flaky, and just ridiculously good. The team there is super friendly, always welcoming with a smile. It’s got a really warm vibe. Only downside? The seating is a bit limited, so it’s not the kind of place you’d hang around for ages with a coffee. But honestly, the croissants are more than worth grabbing, even if you’ve gotta enjoy them elsewhere. Definitely a local gem in Willagee!

Was introduced to this by my cousin and I'm usually not a fan of croissants but theirs is so good! Crispy yet light & my favourite was the gratin one as I love cheese. Am heading back there one more time to have these croissants for breakfast before the end of my Perth vacay.

hands down the best bakery in perth i've been to (so far) ! i've heard so many good things about this place, so i'm glad it lives to up expectations :) the danishes are not too sweet, though they are a lot bigger than i expected which justifies the price. even so it's pretty reasonable in this economy at $9-$9.50 the pastry was flaky and buttery but not too heavy, striking a perfect balance between indulgence and not feeling sick afterwards :) i regret not coming here earlier, 10/10 would recommend !!!
Alice L — Google review
Such delicious, moist and yet crispy croissants with amazing flavours! We had the gratin, ham and cheese croissant and chocolate croissant which were all 10 out of 10. The coffee was delicious and the little friand that comes with it as a side treat was amazing. I would’ve bought that on its own! The staff were lovely and the store is beautiful with a great little playground opposite the shop for the kids to play!

Layers Bakery is a small family-owned French bakery located in Subiaco, quickly gaining recognition for its artisan breads and pastries. Boasting decades of experience from some of France's finest kitchens, this hidden gem offers some of the best baked goods in Perth. Customers rave about their exceptional baguettes and delectable French pastries, with favorites including the Pain Au Chocolat and homemade chicken avocado sandwich featuring delightful pesto.
Absolutely a must visit bakery in Perth. It is located in Subiaco. Tried various of their pastry products and overall they have an exceptional quality. The chocolate eclair was the best one. It's not too sweet and it has an intense chocolate flavour. The choux pastry is also very soft and light, pairing nicely with the luscious pastry cream. The hazelnut paris-brest was also great. They have a nice praline flavour and the pastry cream is very smooth and creamy, paired with the light choux pastry. However, the icing sugar on top made the overall dish slightly too sweet. But overall, it was great. The banoffee tartlet also taste good. The cream on top elevated the whole dish. Adding more creamy elements would make the tart better as the tart shell was quite thick, making the whole tart taste slightly dry. But overall, it has nice flavours. Also ordered the coffee, it taste ok. The staff here are also friendly. They also have seatings if you want to dine in the place. The display could be set up better. As you need to line up to buy the products, some of the products displayed (in front, such as the tarts, eclairs, choux pastry, etc) are not in the line. But that's a minor issue and overall this is a great bakery to visit.

We always order from Layers Bakery for every birthday celebration! Their cakes never disappoint.the one we just had was so delicious, with those amazing crispy layers that we love. And as always, it looked super colourful and beautifully made. No wonder my family is completely obsessed! Layers has definitely become our go-to for birthdays. Highly recommend if you haven’t tried them yet!❤️❤️🙌😍

I ordered the fresh fruit flan as a birthday cake. Absolutely stunning to look at and the fruit was fresh with a lovely cream filling. After a round of happy birthday I tried to cut the fruit flan which proved extremely difficult. It took 3 different knives to cut a piece because the base was borderline burnt, hard as nails and alas unpalatable. Should have been beautifully buttery. Really disappointed as the photo advertising the cake (photo No 1) is a lot different to what I was given (remaining 3 photos). A beautiful fruit flan, absolutely inedible base.

BEST croissants in Perth !!! The name of the bakery is exactly what the croissants have which is LAYERS, sooo crunchy and flaky and they don’t have that buttery aftertaste. Super consistent and always so delicious. They are very similar to Lune in Melbourne. Definitely recommend :)

First impression: Layers Bakery I was quite surprised to find this bakery, especially after seeing the pictures of their baked goods - I couldn’t believe I had not been here yet. Anyway, we travelled a good 1.5 hours to get, here, and this is how it went. As we reached this bakery, placed unassumingly into a shopping square, we were met with a queue of people waiting to get their hands on the baked goods- always a good sign. Just like everyone else there, we waited - patiently. (We were overjoyed that most of the baked goods were still available) There was a good energy to the place, there were enough people to give the place a vibe. 4/5 We ended up ordering a few things: 1. Iced latte: Good. Balanced and delicious. 4/5 2. Mortadella pinsa (a kind of airy flatbread with toppings): the base was light and airy but since it was sitting out, it didn’t retain its freshness or texture. 3/5 3. Bacon and parmesan scroll: Generously stuffed with bacon- buttery and with a hint of crispy. But failed to impress. 3.5/5 4. Mont blanc finger: Looked fabulous. The layers on the finger looked pristine. So beautifully made. But the flavours didn’t blow us away. In fact, the chestnut flavour was so mild, it felt like an overpriced cream roll (unfortunately) 2/5 5. Choquette: Light and airy. 4/5 Overall the food looked way better than it tasted. And the prices were higher than usual. 3/5 The service was decent enough. The coffees arrived quick. Polite and prompt. 4/5 Overall 3.5/5 edging into a 3 because of the food.

The issue with this bakery is a complete lack of common sense. When you visit a bakery for croissants and coffee on a Saturday morning, you rightfully expect to be served fresh croissants, especially from a place with a reputation. Instead, we were given old and cold croissants. We specifically drove here to try this bakery. We grabbed our morning treats before heading to the park to soak in the beautiful weather. Upon opening our bags, it was clear that the croissants were not fresh; they were stale and cold. Not only did the staff neglect to warm them up, but they also failed to recognise what customers expect: fresh items, not something clearly past its prime. We ultimately drove to another bakery that we know and were confident we wouldn’t be disappointed. Our morning was salvaged with authentic, fresh croissants, which we should have received in the first place.

A must visit bakery in Perth! Best croissant, I got to try it fresh out of the oven. It was warm, light and crispy, and so buttery. The canele was decent. Loved the pain suisse as well! I also tried the cube creme brulee, it was a bit too sweet for my liking though. Definitely would come back to try other baked goods!.

I absolutely love this place! The food is delicious, and the prices are very fair and reasonable. It's best enjoyed when the weather is sunny and warm since seating is limited inside, and orders are placed at the counter without table service. However, that's okay because I will always come back!

A cozy place to meet with your friend, offer outdoor areas with heater during the winter, one in the front and one in the back. I love the backyard dining area. I was fascinated with the variety of food offered and the friendly staffs. I tried mushroom arancini for the first time. I love the taste but I like fully-cooked rice to my liking (I'm Asian), this was under-cooked for me.

The only thing I have to complain is the food. If you love sour cream, it might be good for you. It comes with lots of sour cream without salt at all. Taste only sour. Very disappointed. Coffee is good, garden is nice. I like the shop so much. But the food will stop me go there again. So sorry for that.

had the acai, sausage roll, almond croissant and a carbonara pasta cup The staff were happy to adjust the acai bowl to my likes! And I love the massive variety of unique deli delights! their online menu is very unreliable, was very disappointed as there was a specific item i wanted to try. The pasta cup was really decadent, smelt amazing and was quite filling. The berries in the acai were frozen, not fresh. The sausage roll was buttery and hearty. almond croissant was less then optimal

Won over by the display in the window. First time visitors. You grab a tray, a pair of tongs and try to figure out what’s what in the cabinet (some items are easy to identify, others are a little more exotic). It was a particularly hot day, with lots of other people waiting around/behind/next to me and bakers also waiting to fill the shelves. A little claustrophobic. However, we were served promptly and checked out with about 5 sweet pastries costing $20, which the family commented were fresh and delish.

Lovely bakery treats at Breadtop! Tried a few pastries here — flaky, fresh, and not overly sweet. Just the way I like it. Everything was well-balanced, with soft textures and light cream. Perfect for a snack without the sugar overload. Definitely coming back for more! 🥐🍓

I am very disappointed with the crepe mango cake I bought today. They didn’t have a full crepe cake, so I bought 9 slices, and the staff helped to wrap it with a ribbon. It turned out the cake was frozen, it was still very hard when we ate it. The mango pieces are still FROZEN. Imagine thawed cream and half frozen mango in a cake, that cost $68.4. Huge disappointment, nearly ruined my birthday

Stopped by Breadtop for a quick snack and ended up leaving with a small bag full of pastries. The BBQ pork bun was warm and soft with just the right savoury-sweet balance, and the custard tarts were buttery with a crisp shell. It’s self-serve, so you grab a tray and help yourself — everything’s freshly baked and neatly displayed. Staff at the counter were polite and efficient, even during the lunchtime rush. A good option if you’re craving something quick and comforting on the go.

The cake was the perfect size for our smallish wedding (63) people. It was also so delicious!! The Florist added a few too many flowers but it still looked amazing. Thankfully only half was cut on the night so we enjoyed every crumb when we took it with us on our ‘Minimoon’!

My mate recommend me this place, haha to say very impress. Love their American donut, though the $4/ea was steep. Was it nice? Yes, so moist and dense and yet so hood melt in your mouth. I do like the cinnamon scrolls. For once something healthy does taste good.

This place is an unfortunate letdown. There is absolutely no service, the staff are cold, unhelpful, and seem like they couldn’t care less about the customers. The pre-made rolls are bland and forgettable, which is unacceptable for the price. The only redeeming quality was the gluten-free bread itself, which was great. That said, the overall experience was terrible. Frankly, the entire staff needs to be properly trained, because as it stands, this place is running on autopilot with zero regard for customer service.

Super disappointing 😩 We spent $100 in store and it was extremely average to straight up bad. Custard Eclair & Fruit tart - the “custard” was green and tasted awful, holmsey bakery does delicious vegan custard so it’s doable and I have no idea why these were so bad but they both were. Hummingbird cake - dry and overpoweringly sweet icing. Ate about 1/4 and wasn’t worth finishing it. Lamington - ridiculously stale. Took 2 small bites and ditched it. Donut - these were okay. Taste was good but extremely oily. Cherry ripe - this was legitimately enjoyable. Donuts were $4 and the other desserts were all $6ish so we wasted a lot of money on them. GF Peri Peri Pizza - upwards of $25 which was obscene. basically inedible. Ate 2 slices each person and then binned the rest. I don’t know if it was the sauce or the vegan cheese but something was so watery that the whole middle of the pizza was a wet slop but the outsides were almost burnt from trying to cook it longer. Overly spicy for a premade pizza. If it’s got chicken, why use vegan cheese 🤷‍♀️ Salad baguette - okay, nothing to write home about but wasn’t bad. Gluten free loaf - extremely expensive. Tasted good. Overall a super disappointing experience and I definitely won’t be going back.

First time Here - The bacon pastry was good, but since it came from the window it was cold. I asked the lady at the till if she could warm it up. She did take it, but wasn’t very friendly, and when I got it back it was still cold. I politely asked again, but was met with attitude. Thankfully, the chef came over, was very kind, and made sure it was properly heated. When the same staff member brought it back, there was no acknowledgement , no apology or even a simple ‘enjoy your food.’ Having worked over 10 years in hospitality myself, I know how small gestures of friendliness can make a big difference. The food was tasty, but I hope the customer service improves to match it.

Amazing Amazing Amazing. We had the cheese and tomato toastie (pictured) - delicious and cheesy with the right balance of toastie crunch and softness! The choc chip cookie - well, probably the best choc chip cookie I've ever had!! For my preference: perfectly soft and chewy ♥︎ it will now be my go to place for cookies! We also got ice coffees and a sliced half loaf of bread which was gorgeously soft with a nice crust.

Nice pastries and good coffee, staff is very efficient and the ambience is very cute - we happened here on a day with roadwork taking place right in front of the bakery but the nice smells from the ovens made it enjoyable nonetheless. Not very cheap but would recommend!

I purchased a Red Velvet cake from Cake Factory in Malaga for my son's 6th birthday today, and unfortunately, it was a hugeeeeee disappointment. The cake looked promising, but the taste didn't match up. It was overly sweet, and the texture was far too dense, making it difficult to enjoy. Even the frosting lacked the classic tangy flavor you expect from a good Red Velvet cake—it just tasted like sugary butter. I expected better quality for a special occasion like my son's birthday. Sadly, this cake fell short of expectations, and I won't be returning to Cake Factory for future celebrations. Update: They gave us another cake to sort this issue and we didn't take any money refund. -‐------------------------------------------------------

Bought a cake for my wife's birthday, the cake looked delicious but sad to say not one person enjoyed or liked the cake. $55 down the drain. So next time it's back to the cheese cake shop
Clyde D — Google review
We placed an order for an Oreo cheesecake for my son’s birthday that was on a Monday. When we picked it up it was still frozen solid and the lady apologised and said it was because we ordered it for after the weekend. She told us to leave it out of the fridge for an hour and half to defrost, normally takes an hour but she said in the cold weather to leave it an hour and a half. We did that. We took it out of the fridge at 5:30 pm to take to dinner, it sat out on the table at the restaurant until just before 8pm and it was still mostly frozen (about 2cm of the outside edge was the only thawed part), water had pooled all over the bottom cardboard and box due to the cake defrosting. I’m really upset that you would sell someone a cheesecake that was still frozen for $55 and say it was because we ordered it over the weekend. The cake sat out of the fridge for a total of 4 hours and was still frozen and frosty kind of tasted a bit crystallised, the base was almost impossible to cut through, and the cream swirls were still hard. If a cake is ordered to be picked up on a Monday there should be a warning that the cake will be received frozen because I always thought they were fresh. We have been buying cakes from the Cake Factory for many years and often buy cheesecakes and have never had this problem. The company obviously doesn’t care because I sent this complaint via email 2 weeks ago and got no response, I have been completely ignored, very bad cake and even worse customer service. I don’t recommend buying a cake from here they are frozen and not fresh.

Went today to buy a cake, the staff were outside having a chat, was ignored by several of them that even passed me when they came back inside. After 15 minutes of waiting to be served, got annoyed and left. Not sure if management has changed, but I went a few years ago and the place was unrecognisable. The benches were dirty and tbh the place was a mess. Disappointing

Nestled on Charles Street, Glory Box Wedding Cakes has established itself as a beloved destination for cake enthusiasts and dessert lovers alike. With decades of experience, this charming bakery offers an impressive array of stunning cake designs tailored for any occasion, from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations. Their renowned crispy gooey Portuguese tarts are a must-try and have earned them a spot on many local food lists.
Today I visited this new Iranian bakery and I was truly impressed! The warm and inviting atmosphere is the perfect reflection of the delicious offerings they serve. The freshly baked goods are full of authentic flavours, and you can tell everything is made with care and high-quality ingredients. Their coconut sweets are a must-try! The staff was friendly and warm welcoming. As an Iranian, I’m so glad to have a spot like this in Perth and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves Iranian sweets/cakes or wants to try something new! Wishing them great success in their business!

Amazing bakery—I’m beyond impressed! Not only do they bake delicious pastries, but they also offer Persian sweets that are fresh, and perfectly balanced in flavor. Every bite brings back memories of home. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance is cozy, warm, and inviting. Highly recommended!

The Glory Box is my go-to bakery for all my parties and gatherings. I’ve ordered cakes and sweets multiple times, and they’re always incredibly fresh, beautifully made, and absolutely delicious. My guests constantly ask where the treats are from—they love them as much as I do! I highly recommend The Glory Box to anyone looking for top-quality treats full of flavour.

I’m so happy to have discovered this gem in our city! I’ve tried their cakes, sweets, and fresh breads, and everything has been absolutely amazing. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put real care into what they bake. The flavours are unique, the textures are perfect, and it’s all so fresh. It’s great to have a place like this around. Highly recommended!

Not just cakes, they have some wonderful breads, pastries and other treats on offer. We enjoy popping in and grabbing a loaf of onion bread, a must with any soup, stew or just on its own with some butter! French sticks are spectacular, one of the best around! I like how the server their coffee, no take-away cup just spare cups locals drop off. They also have a chicken pie which is prefect on a cold day! I hope they bring in more pie selections, that chicken Pie is amazing!
Cham K — Google review
I recently ordered a large sponge cake from this bakery over the phone. Right from the start, the person who took my order quoted $100 for the large cake, without mentioning any extras or additional charges. Later, I noticed the same cake is listed as $95 on their website — not a huge difference, but worth mentioning. I asked for a banana and walnut filling, which was fresh and tasty, but the cake itself was more muddy and dense than a proper sponge. Also, the bottom of the cake was quite brown and looked slightly burnt (photo attached). What made the ordering experience a bit awkward was when I asked about the diameter of the cake in centimeters — something I normally check when ordering cakes in Australia. Instead of providing the size, the person kept explaining cultural differences between buying cakes in Iran and Australia, which felt unnecessary and made it harder to just place my order quickly. Overall, decent filling, but the texture and service could definitely be improved.

I really don't like telling people about great food as they go and buy my favourite products and there's nothing left when I get there. But The Glory Box has the best Portuguese Tarts in the country, hands down
David W — Google review
They use low quality raw materials for more profit. They do not have contracts with some of their workers and work on a cash basis. Poor management, dissatisfied Iranian and Australian customers, the good reviews here are also from friends and family of the company owner, it is not true most of are fake.

The beef brisket was one of the nicest things I have ever had! 6/5! The coffee was good but not quite top of the range for the very competitive Leederville area, but the sheer quality of that brisket means that I cannot in all good conscience not give this a 5. There’s a few nice places to sit as well.

Queen of Cakes is a London-based cake decorating business run by Julie, who started exploring cake decoration while working as a dessert chef in 2004. The menu includes a variety of flavors such as Chocolate, White Chocolate and Strawberry, Salted Caramel, Tangy Lemon and Raspberry Syrup Cake, and more. Customers praise the deliciousness of the cakes and cupcakes, with options for gluten-free choices. They also appreciate the prompt and helpful communication from Julie.
I highly recommend Julie from Queen of Cakes! She made our wedding cake, and it was absolutely beautiful—exactly like the inspiration picture we sent her. While we didn’t get a chance to try the cake on our wedding night, our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was - White Choc/Raspberry flavour (the whole cake was gone by the end of the night!). Julie was professional, punctual, and delivered the cake to the venue on time. If you’re looking for a stunning and delicious cake, Julie is the perfect choice! We look forward to ordering more cakes from Julie for our future events.

Julie made our beautiful wedding cake. Her sample plate gave us a good range of flavours to try which helped us choose our final 4. The cake for the wedding day was excellent, nice flavours and just what we wanted. Four tiers was more than enough for the 100 people, probably could have gone with 3. We also ordered some biscuits as wedding favours. Julie was quick to respond and organise our cake.

We recently had Julie from Queen of Cakes create our stunning wedding cake and cupcakes for our recent wedding. 🤩 Julie was so easy to work with from first meet right the way through and created our vision into the most amazing and delicious cake! 👌 We still have guests raving about how delicious our cake was 😍 We would highly recommend Queen of Cakes to anyone! 🧁

Look no further than the Queen of Cakes!! Julie made our wedding cake in March 2022 and it was sensational, the three tier cake was beautifully decorated and tasted amazing with multiple flavour choices available. Julie really took the time to understand our vision and then even liaised with our flower supplier to ensure everything matched in perfectly. We also ordered some gluten free cupcakes for our guests and they said it was the best gluten free treat they had ever had, everyone at the wedding raved about the cake. We cant recommend Queen of Cakes highly enough and look forward to ordering our next special cake soon
Adam W — Google review
Julie makes THE best cakes!! We tried a few popular cake bakers for our wedding cake but they would come out too buttery, too dry or have no strong flavour... then we tried Queen of Cakes - she truly is the Queen of Cakes. The cake tasting sizes were perfect, and I can honestly say all the flavours tasted SO GOOD and NONE of them were dry - it was amazing. It was so hard for us to decide on a flavour. Julie has so many great flavours to choose from. It was easy to work with Julie and she helped us custom design what we wanted, and organised individual serves of cake for bonbonnieres. We got great feedback from our guests - they said that it was the best wedding cake they ever had. I've been slowly getting through our cake, and even on day 4... it's still moist and delicious. Couldn't recommend Julie more, and will definitely order from her again in the future!
Jessica L — Google review
Julie did not disappoint again, I sent her my design and vision over a year and a half ago as I wanted to organise everything as early as possible. She took my vision and created a masterpiece. It was exactly what we wanted and more, the portions where perfect the flavour was amazing and the design matched exactly with our whole wedding theme. I would never go through anyone else but Julie. She is so amazingly talented. Thankyou so much for making my wedding cake and being apart of my special day ❤️
Natasha P — Google review
What a woman!! Julie made our wedding cake and cupcakes and they were magical, so much so that I never even saw a cupcake! We first purchased one of her sampler packs and it was love at first bite! Such a struggle to pick a flavour- thankfully with the cupcakes we were able to have 4 flavours available to our guests including a gluten free option which I heard was divine. Not only was the final product amazing but communication was prompt, easy and super helpful! 5 stars just is not enough for Queen of Cakes!

This dish is very appetizing as soon as it is served, with a rich aroma and is very tempting. The rich sauce wraps around the ingredients, and when you bite into it, the sauce fills your mouth. Moreover, the ingredients are very fresh, the quantity is sufficient, and the cost performance is super high. I will definitely come again next time I have the chance.

It's so consistent this place. When time is of the essence. And you're playing risk averse, the Misses tends to come through. Cold late winter morning so the Shakshuka was calling. Loved it. Needed some seasoning adjustments, but this is standard. Coffee bang on. Arguably the best on the strip.

I would come here most mornings for breakfast for a couple of years, before starting work building apartments up the road. The coffee is outstanding and the breakie burger/ham+cheese croissant were some of the best I've had. Whilst the cafe is small and it can feel very cramped whilst waiting to order, the service here is impeccable and your not waiting for long. Staff here always greet you with a smile and most importantly, always get your order correct. This cafe really is great, it's hard to find a good breakfast spot and the fact I came here most days for a little 2 years says a lot. It's worth your time to check out!

Booked for brunch. Would have ordered online from the table, but another patron warned us the prices were higher that way! Ordering instead at the till was quick anyway. Friend had Turkish eggs, and I had hash brown stack pictured. Hash brown stack was an interesting choice and tasty enough that I'd order it again. We both had coffees, although my small flat white was a little cool and weak, which was disappointing. Too full to try the cakes, but the souffra looked awesome. I will be back just to try that.

Have eaten breakfast here before and it was great. Came for lunch today and was extremely disappointed. Southern Fried Chicken burger was a crumbed chicken schnitzel - definitely Not southern fried chicken. The fish tacos were also straight from a box - two square fish pieces that didn’t even fit in the taco, with iceberg lettuce and some weird tomato salsa which was tasteless. So disappointed. Juice was $10 for something that obviously came out of a bottle - not freshly made and mainly ice. The waitress was very helpful and apologetic stating there were new owners. We won’t be back based on the food today.

Nestled in the heart of Perth, Miss Maud 160 Central is a delightful Swedish patisserie chain that brings a taste of Scandinavia to Australia. Known for its inviting atmosphere, this charming spot offers an array of sandwiches, cakes, and traditional pastries that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. With over 90 catering platters available—both warm and cold—Miss Maud is perfect for those looking to indulge in delicious finger foods at events or gatherings.
Brought back frozen pies and sausage rolls on a 36 hour flight via Singapore to DC. Wrap individually. Staff were helpful and gave great advice on when to order and how to prepare when I got home. So worth the effort and made my 3 kids very happy to eat a real Aussie pie again. Hardest part was which flavour to get! Hubby did say mushroom pie was a bit salty.

Good coffee and nice pastries. Service level and customer interaction acceptable. Pricing is reasonable. Good location in Hay Street.

Very good location, in the central, and next to hotels.. As a new visitor to Perth, i am not familiar with the brand. But everytime i passed by the outlet, it always had some people in short or long queue .. On my last day in Perth, i gave it a try... Love it .. I ordered the pie and a warmed Dutch apple slice.. At first, i was planning to share them with my uncle that time, but it ended up I finished those 2 items alone for my last breakfast in Perth 😄💝 .. So good 👍

Very helpful lady behind the counter. She explained to me in detail and patience about their catering service. Thank you!

We have our hot tea here while waiting for an appointment. Nice place with excellent staff! Recommended!

Miss Maud is the famous bakery store in Perth with many years of history. I buy the sandwich from this store always every week. I like the ham and egg sandwich. Coffee is ok.
Anthony Y — Google review
Prompt and efficient service even when very busy. The staff here are always friendly and welcoming. There is good service and there is great service. This outlet falls in the latter category. A small error with my order led to an effort by every staff member to ensure i was happy. They owned the mistake and went above and beyond. This is down to the leadership of the store manager. They all deserve a raise!
Leonard T — Google review
Decent food, but if you're expecting a nice relaxing morning sitting out front, forget it. The escape route door outside which is used by staff was slammed shut 4 times in 10 minutes that I was there. Then again, if you're happy with that sort of atmosphere, then have at it!

Nestled in a discreet corner of Brookfield Place, Small Print Baker & Coffee Maker is a delightful gem that artfully combines the charm of a bakery with the expertise of a coffee roaster. This cozy café offers an impressive array of freshly baked goods and expertly brewed coffees, ranging from espresso to pour-over and cold brew options. Small Print takes pride in its diverse menu, changing it throughout the day to keep things exciting for patrons.
lovely ambience & great coffee. Asian barista (didn't get his name) was happy to talk and explain his craft. I had a coffee flight in the end (pictured). a great experience overall.
Marcus S — Google review
My experience there was okay, I came on a non-peak hour so the service was decent. The latte I ordered was good; the french toast I ordered was really nice, it came out beautifully, the toast was really fluffy and tasted nice.
Katisha A — Google review
Pies are tasty although pastry was a little doughy. Coffee is good
J M — Google review
You could tell that the espresso was a decent pull but the ratio of milk and coffee was off. Barista wasn't very good based on the coffee I got and the latte art I saw for the other customers
Erwin M — Google review
Excellent coffee and food - the pies are great as are the burgers. There also have a huge array of baked goods that are baked on site and are delicious. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It can be quite noisy inside. This is hidden down under the print hall and is highly recommended
Andrew S — Google review
Funky modern decor, friendly staff and good quality artisan coffee. When I visited I ordered a long macchiato topped up which was pretty good although not very hot (lukewarm at best). It can get pretty busy too and I had to wait 10 minutes for takeaway (mid-morning on a weekday). It's also a bit hard to find. Find Print Hall and head downstairs. It's tucked away underneath on the lower walkway with cafes and restaurants on each side.
Luke — Google review
This small little cafe is quite hard to find when you first go looking, it is actually down stairs from the court yard area of the print house. Once you find it though the baked goods line the walls tempting you to have one of everything. There is also a regular menu with the standard cafe offerings done quite well. The service is a little confusing as I still wasn't quite sure by the end whether there as table service or not, but either way the staff are still friendly. If your in the city it is a great place for a take away coffee or a quiet bite.
Vijay B — Google review
They small print is cash only and they said closest atm was at London court- a customer corrected them and told us there is one upstairs across from the food court. There is no menu until 12 and the muffins tasted like cardboard. The coffee was delightful but that was about it.

Sorganic Sourdough Bakery is a true gem for bread enthusiasts, showcasing the art of sourdough with an unwavering commitment to quality. Nestled on Rokeby Road, this bakery prides itself on using only the finest organic ingredients—think organic flour, filtered water, sea salt, and a cherished 30-year-old sourdough starter that they treat like family. If you haven't yet indulged in their artisanal offerings, you're missing out on a Saturday morning delight!
This is a great place for breakfast and a coffee, dine in or takeaway. Their bread is fantastic. My partner loves it and we are fortunate enough to live in Subi so my wife gets to enjoy it regularly. If you like sourbough bread but hate having to cut it yourself from the other bakeries, grab a loaf after a yummy breakfast.

Beautiful place! Had the mushroom sourdough and a cinnamon scroll. Spent the whole scroll saying “WOW!” out loud it was so good. Portion size is medium but thats the be expected for the price vs the amount and high quality of the ingredients :))) Thanks team!!!

Asian Australian style breakfast joint. Pretty buzzy vibes. My pulled beef egg Benedict and Acai smoothie are superb! Very happy to find this place near my hotel. Self service cafe. Definitely come back.

First time at Sorganic in Subi. And it was as good as the Cottesloe branch. Excellent strong latté. Top notch. Very good BLT and Salmon Benedict. What about those chips? Recommended.

My friend brought me here because we were in the area, and I'm so happy she did! Probably the best ever bacon eggs benny that I've ever had! They happily serve breakfast items all day (until 3pm when they close) unlike some other cafes that will restrict their bf hours. They also make amazing coffees, and of course they offer a lot of freshly baked sourdough and bakery items. Definitely will return again.

AVOID AVOID AVOID Advertises Vietnamese chicken salad (as a special). But it’s anything but authentic. Plate of iceberg lettuce, 3 slices of thin grilled bland chicken, that’s about it. Sent back. Was asked “as m I not a regular?” This is our dish”. There was nothing authentic about this, 2 sprigs of coriander, 2 pieces of red chilli, some dried onion shavings. It was a plate of iceberg lettuce. No description given on specials board. Was refused swop of dishes, refused a refund. Rude male staff. There is nothing authentic about this place. Save your money they don’t align to the Subiaco community and authenticity of community network and spirit. Rude ! Money grabbers!
A N — Google review
Coffee and food delicious, quick service and indoor/outdoor seating options. Had the salmon and avocado stack. Bread was delicious, as to be expected 😊 A good amount of smoked salmon and avocado, accompanied well with ricotta, balsamic dressing and capers. Outdoor seating by the road but screened well with plants. Highly recommend 👍🏼

They gave a free egg waffle because it was slightly burnt and the staff was really nice

Thought I give this place another go but is the second time I have bought pastries from here and it doesn’t taste good, the fresh cream in it tastes off and weird had to through it in the bin. Never buying anything here again. No wonder all their cakes were on special for half price.
Kiran D — Google review
We got Ubereats through this bakery, a birthday cake. A fruit cake. And it was Ah-Mah-Zinggg! The sugar was very balanced, the cream was very light and the bread was moist. Just perfect. We got another cake from here just yesterday and it was just class apart! Love their cakes!
Bilal R — Google review
The service was lacking — staff were cold and unwelcoming. I purchased a pandan cake and durian slices, but they were quite dry. I feel like I wasted my money.
Đức T — Google review
Avoid the $13.90 chocolate swiss roll. It is edible but not quite eatable. The cake is dry and dense. The cream is thick, heavy, and tasted like butter. Not nice at all.
Douglas C — Google review
Passed by and bought pandan chiffon cake. It was nice: not too sweet and quite spongy. Other cakes looked yummy. Don't expect to get good service including friendly staff/ owner.

Beautiful birthday cake. So fresh and perfectly balanced. It was so big for the price bargain 😍 The lady at the counter was so helpful even the we ordered last minute. Definitely coming back. Thank you heaps 🎂💓

I really disappointed by green tea Swiss roll.... I expected sweet creamy fresh cream and green tea forever sponge cake but.... It's not sweet at all even so salty and not really taste green tea! I guess they put salt mistakenly instead of sugar? how did the tastes become like this?..... Did they really taste before sell?? ....ummm unbelievable
