Perfect little spot for post-Higger Tor hikers! A short 5 minute drive from the National Park which was great after working up an appetite. Food was tasty, arrived quickly and the staff were happy and friendly. They stop serving food from their main menu at 3pm so when we arrived at 2:30pm they had run out of a few things, but the alternatives I chose were lovely.

Had the soup of the day served with fresh sourdough bread, the chef highlighted his dressing and seasoning of the bread which made it more special. Generous portions! As well as a Lovely gingerbread hot chocolate - service was phenomenal, friendly and helpful. All staff clearly take pride in their work. A wonderful atmosphere after a day hiking and swimming. Would come back for this cafe alone.

The staff were welcoming, friendly and very accommodating with the pram we had with us making sure we had a table with plenty of room. The drinks were spot on and the cakes tasty. Highly recommend to visit for a grab and go or sit and eat.

We were thinking about this lunch while hiking around Bamford Edge and it did not disappoint. The chilli chicken sandwhich was delicious. The granary bread and bacon also tasted amazing. Coffee and service was also lovely. Couldn't recommend more!

Such a lovely place. Delicious food and coffee. And the chocolate tiffin was delicious as was the almond croissant and the bacon brie and rocket focacia. Lovely staff and thank you to a kind lady (staff) who helped my friend when she bumped into the glass door she was very attentive and kind. Highly recommend

This cafe used to be fantastic and have many great food options but it seems they’ve changed it up a bit and the food is quite underwhelming now. Sausage roll was soggy and not crisp, chicken sandwich was quite disappointing and no sign of the black pudding scotch egg they used to do and have now got a sweet potato one? Quite a shame. The chorizo toastie and coffee were very tasty and I was happy with those. Also the tablet asking for tips seems a bit too American, not a fan of it.

Called in for breakfast before a days hicking. Very friendly staff nice cafe with an outside area. The food was really good. prices are reasonable, it's worth calling in.

Visited twice in the last couple of days while staying in the area. What a great find! The veggie breakfast is excellent and includes a mug of tea or coffee. The coffee is good quality. Everything is clean and it has a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Also dog friendly! We were also very impressed with the staff. Even at busy times they were helpful and pleasant to customers and each other. Service was super efficient. A real gem and an asset to the local community. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely café in Hathersage village just a little set back from the main road and only a short walk from the railway station. Convenient for refreshment after an outdoor pool swim and the breakfast menu includes a special dish of Turkish origins. Sizeable scones look good too.

This is a lovely cafe! Great service and delicious food and lots of choice. This was our first visit here. It's just what you need after swimming. Thanks to Kerem for his kindness in returning my glasses which I'd left on the table! Just wish we lived nearer Hathersage is such a lovely place.

A great breakfast at a reasonable price, perfect après swim fare. Lovely staff. We sat alfresco in the sunshine and all was right with the world.

Our party of five arrived on Sunday at 2:30 PM with short notice, and the staff demonstrated excellent hospitality. We were promptly seated after ordering beverages. The culinary experience was exceptional; the fish and chips I selected were of remarkable quality and value. The rating is a four-star due to the limited parking availability.

It was almost awesome…….almost. The service was slow. Two of us dined in the bar sat next to another table of two. Their starters came, we had no drinks. Their mains came, we drinks but no starters. Their plates were cleared, our soup finally arrived, nearly 45 minutes after ordering. Butter bean Tuscan soup. Despite there only being 5 butter beans between two bowls of soup, it was delicious! It got better from here! The beef roast was fantastic, perfectly pink, sizeable yorkies and cauliflower cheese that was bang on! A really decent roast for the price. No check back though, and a missed opportunity for further drink sales. So, if you have time on your hands, I highly recommend the food. It really was top drawer. However, the chaotic service let it down a star I’m afraid.

Called in with a friend for a few drinks, a chat and a meal. Really impressed. The team there - Mark and Sylvia are great, friendly and very welcoming. We both had the short rib beef randang for our meals. Absolutely excellent. Charlie, the chef excelled and it was delicious. Thoroughly recommended, both the food, the pub and Silvia, Mark and Charlie. Many Thanks. I will back there again.

Good value and great meals, both evening and breakfast. Car parking could be a bit limited (only if pub was busy) but was fine for when I was there. Good sized room.

LUNCH FOR FOUR INCL. 2 SOUPS AND 4 MAINS- ALL SUPERB. MY MAIN WAS A BLACK PUDDING SCOTCH EGG, CUT IN TWO TO SHOW THE PERFECTLY COOKED EGG AND HONEY AND MUSTARD SAUSAGES -BOTH THESE LISTED AS BAR SNACKS. WITH A MORE THAN AMPLE SUPPLY OF FRIES I HAVEN'T NEEDED TO EAT FOR THE REST OF THE DAY! IT GETS BETTER WITH EACH VISIT ESP WITH A HELPFUL AND WITTY SERVICE FROM SAM.

Been here for Sunday lunch a couple of times now and have nothing but praise. The food, decor and service are all excellent. With 2 course Sunday lunch for £25 you can't go wrong. Highly recommend.

Exceptional pub with B & B at the center of activity, walking distance from almost all trails, The rooms vintage, beautiful extremely well arranged , very cosy, The bathroom is spotless and clean, The food and beverages are brilliant and the staff is outstanding, Very much worth the money, Definitely staying again, Parking available on site.

We ordered takeaway and were very excited about its delivery. However the food did not live up to expectations. It was over cooked, bland and dry. Couldn’t tell if the prawns were actually prawns or chicken . That’s how bad! I would not recommend.

It was authentic Indian food; we ordered mixed platter and chicken jalfrezi with naan, everything was delicious, and beyond our expectations!

Passing by and visited this restaurant for a takeaway. Me and my friends ordered mix grill and advised the waiter if they can add green chillies in the mix grill which he said he will able to do that. When opening the mix grill we was disappointed. The portion was very small. It tasted nice however king prawn was very rubbery and skeeb was bland and dry. Chicken was nice. Because I do regular hiking if I do come back I won’t order the mix grill again.

I have ordered delivery on several occasions and the service and food has got progressively worse. Have waited two hours for food to be delivered and it still hasn't arrived. Asked for a refund and waiting for a call back that hasn't materialised. Of late, they employ delivery drivers that don't know where they are and food arrives cold and unappetising. Will find another takeaway. Update: delivery driver called me over 3 and a half hours after ordering to tell me he was lost but trying to deliver. Who wants food three and half hours after ordering. Pathetic

Lovely little indian restaurant in Hathersage. The staff were helpful and as I had just got back from India tried to find me a dish most suitable. Enjoyed the meal and night out. Very popular spot.

We came here as a group of 11 people for afternoon tea. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. We were sat under the marquee which was very nice and had our own space to enjoy the afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was impressive, the portions were excellent with the option to add prosecco too! We ended up taking lots back with us as there was so much choice. We were also pleased that they were able to cater for a vegan person in our group, which was appreciated. The service was great. We really enjoyed ourselves, thank you.

I had the pleasure of visiting Cintra’s Tea Room in Hathersage and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a charming, traditional tearoom feel that made it the perfect place to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. It’s clear they use high-quality ingredients and put a lot of care into everything they serve. I would definitely recommend Cintra's Tea Room for anyone looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a quintessential British afternoon tea. It’s also a great place to unwind after exploring the beautiful village of Hathersage. Can't wait to come back!

Superb breakfast! Catered and was very concious of dietry needs as im gluten free, checked i wasnt celiac as they use the same toasted for normal bread Really really nice staff, great atmosphere, quieter inside the day we went but it was gorgeous outside to sit at the back. The bacon and sauages particular were excellent!

We had a wonderful lunch here today. The team who were serving were so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious - I had a vegan breakfast and my husband had a full English, both were spot on! We sat in the garden at the back and it was idyllic, really special little area. Thanks for a lovely lunch!

Old style English cafe with lovely staff who accommodated all our requests for food changes. I’ve had better cooked breakfast in particular the sausages and mushroom which could be of better quality. The green in the back is great

The food is absolutely divine, the staff are happy to accommodate and friendly, and the location is stunning. If you are in the vicinity, pay them a visit - you won't regret it. These kinds of venues are the cornerstone of british culture and to be treasured!

I would just like to leave a review of this lovely establishment. My partner and I stumbled upon this wonderful pub after walking from Hope to Hathersage alongside the River Derwent with our two dogs. We were welcomed by lovely friendly staff. The place itself is beautiful and fitting to its surroundings. We have eaten here 5 times now and the food and service is faultless. The crockery is warmed so the food is piping hot when served to your table and a good selection of food on the menu. Would definitely recommend and we will continue to visit. Thankyou.

Food was good, apart from ordering deserts which took ages to arrive and required several prompts to the staff. A bit on the pricy side considering you have to pay separately for the vegetables with your meals. Great Parking. Fantastic location.

We celebrated our wedding at the Plough Inn and we couldn’t have had a more perfect day thanks to them and especially Diane. Their customer service from all members of staff was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding breakfast was something ourselves and our guests will never forget. The location was unbelievably beautiful down by the river, they were even freshly cutting the grass the day before. This will forever be a very special pub to us and can’t wait to visit again.

5 star lunch! Classic pub with top notch food and drink. Roast of the day and beef burger - high quality and super delicious. Friendly and attentive staff with a great sense of humour. Also, dog-friendly makes for a very cute atmosphere.

I’m in this area regular. Stopped in for coffee Sunday morning after walking the dog. It was like they were preparing for a wake not Sunday dinner. Really unfriendly atmosphere. Felt unwelcome, no choice of where to sit, seated 2 feet from the bar. Drank my coffee and couldn’t wait to leave. If you’re spending a bomb on staying there and eating I guess they’d be really friendly. It’s not genuine.

Went here with my family 8 of us in total and were really looking forward to a lovely meal. But it was far from lovely ordered our food and were left waiting nearly an hour and when it finally came all apart from one meal was cold barely warm and unedable the plates our food was on were stone cold the meat on the Sunday lunches was very fatty and under cooked the 1 roast potato was like a boiled potato and the veg was rock hard. 4 of us decided to send it back and when the replacement Sunday lunch came it was exactly the same luke warm and under cooked shocking so the food wasnt eaten . When we complained to the owner / manager he was unapolojetic and quite rude tbh . We will never go there again and would advise people to give it a miss its not cheap at £28 for Sunday lunch and was awful .

Although we have stayed there before we actually went on a day trip and had lunch there,they were so nice and helpful and the food was lovely ,well worth the trip we won't be long before we go again ,thanx for making our visit a pleasure to be there.

Really nice little cafe situation in the centre of the town. Nice simple menu when we went they were only doing the counter food so we were too late for any sandwiches as such. However was really really nice, chicken sausage roll was amazing!! Well worth a visit whilst you are in Eaym!!

This cafe is only small but has seating inside and out, overlooking the green in Eyam. We stopped here for refreshments and enjoyed good coffee and some very nice Berry & Yoghurt cake. We found it to be clean and tidy and will definitely revisit.

Small but perfectly formed, describes this venue! Plenty of outdoor seating, but weather was a little variable for that option when we visited. Lovely staff and food that tasted every bit as good as it looked. We had spinach and feta tart and a roasted veg, chilli jam, cheese toasty, both served with a delicious homemade coleslaw, and great coffee. Not the cheapest lunch out there, but definately worth the money.

Beautiful little cafe in the lovely village of Eyam. Called here early this year and got an amazing jam and coconut sponge. Back in Eyam this weekend, and was determined to try it again. I was disappointed they didn't have it on Friday, but a kind member of staff said they'd have it today, Sunday - and they did!! It was as amazing as I'd remembered. Beautiful toasted sandwiches and soup at lunchtime too. Highly recommend and I look forward to returning again.

Perfect place for a post walk cuppa or lunch. Had the cheesy chips and a half bowl of chilli, yum. Raspberry and coconut bar also delicious. Service friendly, vibe relaxed and they don't mind your muddy boots. Lovely. Looking forward to coming back for brunch.

I have both visited the Outside shop and used it's online ordering facility for various pieces of mountaineering equipment recently. The level of service is excellent, clearly backed up by a wealth of experience. They can offer discounts too, depending on the membership or company you're travelling with. I was delighted to meet Tom in the boot department, whose review inspired me to buy some v comfy Boreal G1 boots for high alpine adventures.

My husband and I had such a good shopping experience in Outside. We went to try some approach shoes, we had idea of which ones we want but not really sure about what sizes to get. Rory was working in the shoe room when we were there, he was so patient, friendly, helpful and most important knowledgeable about how should the shoes fit us. Thank you very much for your help Rory, we will definitely come back!

Visited today for new boots and fitting of a pair of my own I didn't get the assistants names. It was a young lady and young gentleman that helped with different subjects of boots. The level of knowledge and patience making sure I had the right boot that suited my needs and fitted correctly was fantastic.

Absolutely brilliant customer service! I'd emailed earlier in the week explaining that I was interested in trying a couple of running packs. They put them on one side for me and were really helpful in sorting the fit, also suggesting a pack I hadn't shortlisted.

Been shopping at Outside in Hathersage since Autumn '97. Great place for range of gear from harnesses and metalwork to coats for all seasons, bags and books. Knowledgeable team who use the gear so genuinely know the gear.

Fantastic range of outdoor climbing gear, good range of products and clothing, my only gripe is there isn't enough range per brand. I went for a Arcteryx jacket and couldn't get the one I wanted. Not shops fault as store not that big.

The best place in Hathersage for a takeaway lunch for hiking. My husband and I came here by chance and wished we'd found them sooner. Their sandwiches come in small and large, but the small is more than big enough and great value for money. We really loved their vegetarian options as well. Had a brie, salad, and spiced apple and pear chutney special most recently, and they didn't scrimp on the filling. Would thoroughly recommend!

Such a lovely little shop with welcoming staff! The bread is nice and fresh and they definitely don’t scrimp on the fillings for a very decent price. You can get both hot or cold sandwiches from 7:30am so perfect if you’re heading out for a long walk and need to get breakfast AND lunch! They’ve even got a zero waste shop inside with lots of different items from laundry liquid to flour to local honey. Will definitely return when in the area!!

We’ve enjoyed several lunches and some afternoon teas, coffees and cake over the last couple of years. Everything has been of a consistently high standard. The food is bursting with flavors, colorful, fresh ingredients, absolutely delicious, and such inventive recipes. I love the tomato dish, and the riverside salad was exceptional. The cake selection varies and the only problem is deciding which one to get as they are all so good. Service is helpful and friendly. A wonderful cafe.

Amazing food , so many interesting dishes to choose from. I will have to come again to try more. My friend and I sampled the Persian chicken and the special salad dish, absolutely bursting with flavour , texture and colour - went away feeling very inspired by such an exciting menu. The David Mellor café is a total standout. The food is exceptional, beautifully presented, full of care and thought, and genuinely innovative. The menu feels modern and in tune with its buildings and surroundings, with dishes that are as considered as they are delicious. What really elevates the experience is the team. They're not just attentive and professional, they're warm, caring, and genuinely interested in their customers. It feels like they want you to have a great time, and you do. Gluten free options are treated properly here. Instead of just swapping in GF flour, they’ve created cakes and dishes that are naturally gluten free, clever, high-quality, and never second-best. The shop is equally impressive. It’s super premium, yes, but every item has been chosen with purpose. Beautiful cookbooks, curated kitchenware, and David Mellor’s own cutlery; design-led pieces that are as functional as they are beautiful. If you love great food, thoughtful design, and proper hospitality, this place should be on your list.

Great food. Had the mackerel on rye with pickles and beets, fantastic. The soup special (celeriac, carrots and fennel) hit the spot on a rainy windy day. **Update: Returned a year later, and it’s still great. The menu remains interesting and varied; there’s something for everyone, but it’s also well curated and leans toward healthier options, which I really appreciate. There are some creative touches to both the food and baked goods that make it stand out. Presentation is thoughtful, and everything feels and tasted fresh. The staff were friendly and genuinely engaged, which, combined with the delicious food and beautifully designed space, made it a lovely place to spend time.

A great lunchtime dining experience. The coffee was the best I’ve had in the UK (I live in NZ where the coffee is good!) and the food - the famous salad - was delicious, some of the best food I’ve had in England so far. The service was also excellent. A good range of cakes to follow or have with coffee.

Popped in here to have a look at the shop and exhibits. We decided to have a quick drink in the cafe. I think I had one of the best hot chocolates ever. It didn't have marshmallows nor cream, nor did it need them, perfect as it was. Thank you.

Was a bit nervous about eating here as I was a bit worried it wasn't going to live up to the hype. Thankfully both the food, we both had different versions of the Sunday roast and the service was first rate. The only knock was we felt a bit jammed in, the price of popularity I expect, maybe a little pricey but quality costs, food was superb, my partners lamb was cooked just as she asked, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and our server was very attentive and efficient.

Stayed for 3 nights and had a dinner, & breakfast on 3 different occasions. The food was fantastic. Only reason for the 4-star is due to the Salmon + scrambled eggs. Felt that the salmon tasted different and I had diarrhea thereafter. The grilled chicken with back was on point & made me want more after finishing Omelette with mushrooms were also smoothing and tasty

Stopped here on the way home after a nice morning hike up Jacobs ladder/kinder scout! The breakfast was delicious and the staff are very professional we will almost definitely call here again when passing.

We dine in without any reviews searching, just because of way back from Derwent Dam , saw very sharp orange colour parasols, and found a public car opposite area . While sit on felt good for the outside dining area , and foods menu look interesting,first time saw soft-shell crab dishes on Pub foods . Delicious beyond my expectations on both meals . My wife meals with real King-prawn . They with a very high standard chef and kitchen team member . Thank you for let us with a gorgeous lunch . Servicing staff also very good . Highly recommended, and we’ve told many friends after the dining . 50mins to drive here from home, but will plan come again .

Boxing Day after a walk round Hathersage we called into the Bank House sat outside in the teepee nice and festive. The food menu looks good, but we only called in for hot drinks. Will call in for food when next in the area.

Booked on the terrace for food and drinks. First time visiting, and such a lovely place. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Everywhere was immaculately clean. Sat outside, with the aroma from the Indian down the road, and the chip shop adjacent.. makes you hungry! We had booked to eat, and each had the 8oz sirloin. Food was exceptional! Well presented. Cooked as requested. Really could not fault this place. Thanks!

Fantastic atmosphere and food to die for - I had the lamb and mint pie with mash and followed by the Lemon desert and would happily have paid double given the quality of the food. Only slight negative was that they seemed to be understaffed in the kitchen so the wait was a little long. Otherwise though absolutely fantastic and look forward to returning next time I'm in town.

A lovely venue. But the food is definitely overpriced for what you get. 10 of us eat here. The seafood sandwich was literally a deli filler on a white hot dog bread roll, no butter, not toasted quite a let down, we all ordered a wide variety of food and no one was impressed with anything. My T bone was overcooked and had a lot of chewy bits. However the vine tomatoes were really nice as were the chips. Definitely won’t be visiting again. Very disappointed.

Just very good. We had the seafood platter which was delicious, well cooked and balanced. Shared a couple of glasses of wine. The service was prompt and friendly. Also got lucky with the weather which was sunny and still - not so common for October, but definitely brought the experience together well.

Fresh ingredients, vibrant flavours and overlooks the peak district. I only wish their service did match up to the high standards set by the chef - we arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and understandably they asked us to wait in the bar. We had to remind them around 15 minutes past our reservation time to get us to the table. The table service following this was much better and the food did make up for this rather cursory attitude at the front door.

Had a fantastic meal at Sangams Restaurant in Hathersage! The chicken tikka was perfectly spiced and tender, full of flavor with just the right amount of heat. The mushroom curry was rich and aromatic, with a lovely depth of flavor, and complemented the rice beautifully. The egg fried rice was light, fluffy, and seasoned just right. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Definitely one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in the area. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian cuisine!

Dined here after a day hiking in the area. Based on the reviews we were really excited to have a nice curry after a long day, but have to say we were quite disappointed. We had a wide variety of dishes that we shared between us, and we all felt the seasoning was lacking across the board. All the ingredients seemed fresh and of a high quality, but all needed a touch more salt. The other thing for me was just how greasy everything was. I know Indian dishes are generally oily, but this was excessive even by the standards I'm used to. It's not a good look if the top of the dish comes out with a thick layer of pure oil. If I could give any advice to the management it'd be to simply go easier on the oil, and taste the dishes a bit more for salt. The ingredients are there for a great restaurant and dining experience, but particularly the excess oil is not enjoyable to eat and does not suit me the following day.

Great little curry house, went after a long drive up to hathersage from Cambridge so was starving! Lamb jalfrezi was perfectly spiced with just the right level of heat, meat lovely and tender. Vegetable dopiaza was also delicious with the vegetables not just an afterthought. Great cooking. Service was friendly and fun, sometimes I forget how friendly the north of England is compared with down south… Would definitely recommend.

One of the best thing happened for us in peak district. The food was awwwwww. We enjoyed a lot. The taste was like home. Loved the service too. All the gravy were so good.

The best Indian food we’ve had for years! Visited Tuesday evening - didn’t book but easily accommodated in the lower small dining area (don’t know why as there were tables available on the ground level.) Menu is varied and with good descriptions. All can be cooked mild, medium or hot and there were great vegetarian options too. Then there was the fish section! If truth be known, when we searched online I already knew I wanted the Tandoori Trout - so rarely is this dish offered in restaurants, and I wasn’t disappointed, it was cooked to perfection. The bed of salad (crunchy white cabbage and cucumber / tomatoes) was just the right accompaniment. I never know what Pete will chose as his choices are so eclectic… he careers across the gamut of spicy dishes, from jalfrezi to rogan josh and back again! Literally just those two, never wavers, never wants to be disappointed. He chose chicken jalfrezi and to my surprise, mid-feast he proclaimed that he’d ‘have no trouble choosing anything else on this menu - I know I would enjoy them all.’ This is gushing praise indeed and marks a possible shift to a more adventurous Indian dining experience for us both…

Fantastic group delivery for a large group at short notice! The food was great and still hot, portion sizes were generous, and service was super friendly, would order again!

My partner and I had an amazing evening everyone was looking after us so well! Abbey in particular was an absolute star having to deal with a difficult situation from a table near us she kept a cool head and didn’t let that stop her! Our pizza was that good that I had to know who cooked it and pizza chef Oscar made perfect pizza that was amazing every bite! 🍕

I had a lovely experience in this restaurant. I was on tight schedule and the staff was very helpful, suggesting quick options and preparing the food very quickly. The meal and the wine were delicious, the outside dining area is very relaxing and pleasant, with blankets and heaters available. I would visit again!

Great selection of beer, wine etc., pizzas amazing. Super friendly, attentive service. Really nice, relaxed vibe. Competitively priced. We will be back!

Disappointing Experience at Peak Pizza. We visited Peak Pizza at 6:40 PM, and ordered our food by 6:50 PM. We were not advised of any significant wait times. We had to actively seek out staff to place both our food and drink orders. At 7.30pm food had still not arrived and when we eventually got the attention of the service staff, we were told the food would be at least another 20 minutes despite the restaurant being empty (she then tried to claim they were busy despite it being a Monday evening). We were given the option to have the pizzas boxed up so we could eat them in our vehicle?! Why we would choose that when we were sat at a table is beyond me, but even then, there would still be another 20 minutes plus before 3 pizzas were ready. The service was horrendous, and we ended up leaving at 7:30 PM with our 6-year-old so hungry he was crying. The overall service was simply awful.

Really tasty pizzas and great service from Seth on 22/7/25. Kitchen staff explained ahead of time that they'd be a wait due to the size of our party, which was helpful as it allowed us to pop back to our accommodation for a bit.

Went here with my boyfriend and my uncles, amazing hospitality, the waiter went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, tasty pizza, I would highly recommend the lemon and rosemary chicken one, the sauces provided weren't too spicy and went well with the pizza 🍕 I had a Lemon San Pellegrino which was very refreshing 🍋 It was a lovely atmosphere sitting outside 😁 Overall an outstanding place to go for lunch

Banging pizza, great wines, lovely service and cozy garden with warm fires and fairy lights. Top evening! Super busy this evening due to the lovely weather after a rainy day but the folk running the place did an amazing job. We only noticed after we'd left that the bill didn't have service included so hope that a good review makes up for the lack of tip - sorry 😐 Thanks again!

A lovely little find. We visited on Saturday, caught the train from Sheffield to Hathersage and then a 5 minutes walk from the train station. The atmosphere is fab, lovely area to sit, relax and enjoy the food and wine. If you enjoy wine, you'll definitely love this place, there are hundreds of bottles of wine to choose from. The only negative i can say is I wish when I asked about the food it was explained in a "little" more detail. I asked if it was like tapas, we were told it was in a selection of meats and cheese. We ordered 6 @ £17.95, selection of olives and bread & oil. When the food arrived it was a selection of cheese and meat but on bread. It was tasty but we ended up with a lot of bread & cheese. If we had been explained to in a little more detail we'd have probably ordered a different selection of food. The staff were friendly, toilets were clean and the outside seating area is really lovely and relaxed. We'll definitely go back but probably try the pizza next time.

Got the pepperoni pizza, the GOAT pizza, a caprese panuozzo sandwich, and cheesy garlic bread. So yummy and fresh and loads of wines to choose from

Visited yesterday whilst visiting friends. The outdoor dining was incredible, staff were lovely, our server Scarlett was amazing, so welcoming and professional, pizza was Incredible we even ordered a take out for later. Thank you for your service and great welcome, we can’t wait to come back xxx

Came here a few weeks after the re-opening. The venue has been done up really nicely, especially the outside seating area, and the drinks selection was impressive. We ordered two pizzas and drinks, but unfortunately it felt like style over substance. The pizzas were average at best, and service was very slow (well over an hour for pizzas). At the price point, I expected more — particularly given how strong the standard of woodfired pizza is these days. If that’s your main offering, you really need to keep up with the competition (Rudy’s, Sunshine Pizza etc.) to justify the cost. Hopefully this was just down to teething issues after the re-opening, but I won’t be rushing back.

It looks super lovely but the staff appeared to not have had enough training and the food was pretty average to poor for the price. We ordered kalamata olives and got green ones instead. The starters arrived after the mains with the bread being dry and cold(only sourdough not 2 types as stated in the menu). The pizzas were nice but the chicken salad was very basic, no tomatoes, sun-dried or otherwise and not a lot of it. We determined it's probably a lovely place for wine but wouldn't return for food.

A great wine bar with seating outside and a very good choice of small plates and wood fired pizza. We had a lovely couple of hours enjoying the last of the summer sunshine and drinking some fabulous wine 🍷
