Best fish food experience in Calabria! fresh products, very kind and polite staff, but more important the test was amazing! Truly recommend, just 10 min away from Tropea by car, but I promise u won’t regret it!

This restaurant serves only fish and only what was cought that day. No desert and no burgers only sea food. The staff is friendly. The fish was fresh and not farmed, you will notice it straight away. Even skin tastes good. Price is avarage, but if you want to eat fish you will pay more in the city for less quality. I wanted to give 4 stars because I came only for the fish brodet or fish gulas, but you have to order 1 day in advance and there was no information about that not on internet not by phone reservation. But I will give 5 stars for excellent meal. Calamari was not from Patagonia, shrimp also not. Go there and don't spend your money elsvere if you want to eat good fish. Picture is grilled fish mix orada, tuna, shrimp, squid and garfish. Enough for one person.

We are true food enthusiasts and our standards are pretty high. We’ve been disappointed in all restaurants we’ve been to in Tropea which pushed us to look out for something else - and here’s this hidden gem! The place is always full (mostly with locals, which says a lot) and the atmosphere remains warm and welcoming. The service was impeccable – the waiters were incredibly kind and even took the time to explain the dishes in English which was so kind from her. As for the food, it was close to perfection. We started with primi (pasta), which were generously portioned and bursting with flavor. For the mains, we chose grilled fish, fritto misto, and gambero rosso – each dish was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. We can only highly recommend this restaurant. It’s the kind of place you will want to return to again and again.

The food was ok, but nothing special or especially tasty that needs mentioning. Prices were rather low, but for us fitting to the quality of the food. Atmosphere was loud and stressed, doesn't seem like locals would go there, lots of tourists. Ambience was cheap, nothing to feel cosy or stay longer for another glass of wine. Servers were very unfriendly, no smile or anything. But at least we didn't have to wait too long like other people that commented.

Waited 80 minutes for take-away pizza. No warning, no communication, no word of sorry, like it’s normal. Pizza was OK, they have nice views of the sea.

The worst experience in South Italy I ever had. The allo scoglio was served and it was fileja and Passata without flavour m , it was not allo scoglio at all. No flavour. Senza vongole, senza cozze , senza sapori, senza gamberi. In every pasticceria You will eat better then there. Missunderstanding.

If my meal ( pasta with tomato and nduja) smell fish and the tasted was disgusting, i thought it was not that dangerous for my health. We cannot say the same for my boyfriend's pasta ( swordfish pasta) which can be really really bad for his health if he had eat it : Just the smell was a nightmare. I tasted it to be sure: the taste was worth than the smell. We were four and we let 3 full plates ( even not a real bite in them). I can just say when we saw the nail's of the waitress, it was easy to guess in this restaurant, there is some really important cleanliness issues. The waitress seems to not like people at all. If she likes them, she had a really weird way to show it. TOURISTS ESCAPE THIS RESTAURANT!!!

One of the few restaurants open at the time in Zambrone as we arrived out of season. Food was average but the wood fired pizza was fantastic. Staff are attentive but not over bearing.

This is one of the best places I have ever eaten! The food is fresh and delicious 😋. But with the prices they have, oh I would die for ❤️.

EVERY single dish we ate was absolutely terrible. Completely burnt pesce spada, tuna and calamari. The antipasto had mozzarella that was off. The fileja pasta had rotten zucchini and off Parmesan. The wine was acidy which indicates an old opened bottle. The mussels were not fresh or cleaned properly and had a frozen, bitter taste. The bread was stale and tasteless. All the produce seemed to not have been refrigerated even in this heat. We could not finish any of our meals. They only had 3 other groups dining. Woke up the next morning with diarrhoea and stomach ache. Thanks for reading.

Poor for Italian standards. Had a fish mixed grill. Prawn was raw, tuna was dry and sword fish had freezer burn. Pizza on the menu was not available For 4 people 80 euros.

Canadian here visiting. If you’re looking for a true Calabrian gastronomic experience that can accommodate large groups and children, this is the place to go. Each dish here embraces such local, fresh Tropean ingredients and you can taste it. 13 of us ate here, and with a full restaurant, our meals all arrived fast. Must tries are the nduja, any of the pizzas (or each of them ahaha) and the bistecca. Great, personable and breezy service by Antonio. Coming back when I’m near Tropea!

The pizza was good but the mozzarella did not taste as a proper mozzarella. The waitress was really gentle and the place is located on a square where kids can play without problem.

They must think we are tourist who doesn't know any better. It's a shame we live in sicily and never had this bad carbonara. The pasta aglio olio was tasteless, my seafood pasta was so bland and the mussel appetizer were so tiny and rubberish. Even a simple cheesecake dessert ( or whatever that is with red sauce) was horrendous!! Shame on this kitchen. The only plus point is the wine, generous pour and good.
