Brunch restaurant
Breakfast restaurant
Hello Toast is a vibrant and lively cafe in downtown Kamloops, known for its eclectic atmosphere and casual vibe. With over two decades of culinary excellence, this bustling restaurant offers an all-day breakfast menu featuring locally sourced ingredients and sweet treats. The friendly staff and commitment to creating memorable moments make Hello Toast a beloved destination for breakfast and lunch.
Stumbled upon an awesome breakfast spot that really hit the mark. I never imagined pesto could work so well with eggs until I tried their tasty green eggs and ham. The signature spuds were packed with flavor and surprisingly, I managed to wipe the plate clean despite the generous portion. The eggs Benedict were also solid, with perfectly runny eggs and a hollandaise sauce that was rich without being too heavy. The French toast stood out too, with just the right balance of sweetness. Service was great and it was a fantastic way to kick off the day.

We really enjoyed our breakfast here. It was busy but we only had to wait a few minutes to be seated at a table. Service was quick and very welcoming. We did not feel rushed to finish up as often happens at breakfast places. I had the 1/2 Hot Italiano Bennie and my friend had the full Incredible Hulk. Presentation and flavour of the dishes was wonderful.
Pauline C — Google review
This was my first time going to Hello Toast and also my first time trying an eggs Benny, and now I can’t believe I went my whole life without one! Our server was super friendly and helpful, and the food came out in a timely manner. I ordered The Pulled Porker and it was absolutely delicious (I almost wish I had ordered another one!) I’ll definitely be coming back to Hello Toast to explore all the other Bennys on their menu!!
Philip B — Google review
First time at this establishment, and I wasn't disappointed. The staff were engaged, and the breakfasts were delicious. We had the Cayenne in the Rain, Fast Eddie, and Bacon Benny. Good portions, and most importantly, it was all fresh.
Gary H — Google review
Brunch is always tough for me because I don’t eat pork and it is always the main attraction on breakfast/brunch menus but Hello Toast had several options that caught my eye. I ordered the beef brisket eggs Benny and it was absolutely delicious! The brisket was so tender and had some crispy edges with such a good flavour. The potatoes were so well seasoned and so tasty. It was so great that I wanted to eat there the very next day! Service was quick and attentive, I highly recommend dining here!
Christine W — Google review
Every time I drive through Kamloops, I make a point to stop at Hello Toast. IMHO, one of the best brunch/breakfast spots in the city. It's family owned and the service is very friendly and nice. It's popular, though, so you may need to wait a while to get a table. They make all the things from scratch, and it really shows in the flavour of the food. I had the Fun-Guy benny, with swiss cheese and mushrooms. So good! Love those rustic potatoes, as well.
Rebecca C — Google review
This place is something special! The vibes is immaculate. The service was excellent. And the food was delicious! The owner ended up serving us and she was the sweetest. I got the Benny and they let you mix and match flavours if you get 2 or 3. Love that! Highly recommend!
Megan K — Google review
It felt so homey! The place was busy even on a weekday. The food was spiced perfectly. It was so delicious. Service was efficient and friendly. Paid parking on the street. I will definitely come back.

Restaurant
Mittz Kitchen is a relaxed dining spot in Kamloops, founded by local brothers Steve and Jeff Mitton along with Chef Dave Rempel. The restaurant offers a blend of casual comfort and upscale elegance, serving Canadian cuisine with global influences using local ingredients. The atmosphere reflects the owners' light humor and fun spirit. Signature dishes include panko-crusted Sablefish, braised Short Ribs, and the popular grilled Mittz burger.
The restaurant features a small outdoor patio in the front. Upon entering the main entrance is a small bar and reception area. The main dining room is good size featuring booth seating. The washrooms are located upstairs. They offer an assesable washroom on the main floor. The staff are friendly and pleasant. The food was very good.
Sally R — Google review
After a friend’s recommendation, my wife and I decided to try Mitz Kitchen for our anniversary, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. Right from the start, the service felt off — the staff looked exhausted, we had to ask just to get a glass of water, and there was no small talk or even a check-in about how the food was. As for the food, it was disappointing. Everything was overly greasy, even the pasta. The fries tasted like they’d been refried multiple times and were extremely oily and poor quality. My burger came out soggy and lacked any freshness. The only positives were the ambience, drinks, which were actually quite good, and the whipped feta. Unfortunately, the mains were far below the standard we expected. I was waiting for the server to ask how the food was while paying the bill to give a feedback but again she never asked
Stephen P — Google review
Had an amazing dinner tonight — the short ribs were absolutely delicious, perfectly paired with a local Monte Creek “Hands Up Red” from Kamloops, BC. Highly recommend this place for dinner - the chefs cook beautifully. And a special thanks to Rosemary for her great recommendations on both the dish and the wine!

Excellent service & food. Very clean and tidy, nothing sticky. All the food we ordered was fantastic. A must try place.
Anthony S — Google review
Food, drinks and service were all top notch. Fresh homemade pasta, the potato crusted fish on risotto was superb. We were there on a busy Friday night and no complaints. Good wines by the glass selection too. Sound level was better than most restaurants. Music was great, but you could still talk without yelling.
Launa M — Google review
Portions are on the smaller size, but right for us being smaller eaters. The peppercorn sauce on the NY steak sadly tasted a little funny... like eating a sea water rinsed steak. I can't describe the taste, but it was much better after I scraped the sauce off the steak so there must have been an ingredient I didn't like in the sauce. The risotto was delicious!

We needed to try a new place to eat in kamloops and when I looked it up on Google it had a variety of meals, the kids tried something new and loved it and there homemade ice sandwiches looked amazing and kids said they loved it. Was a great place to eat, and the server(Klara)was amazing.

Best food we have had out in a good long while. Food was fresh, portions decent, and it's clear care was taken when preparing our meals. Everyone found something they loved on the menu, and the service was friendly.

Canadian restaurant
Nestled in the historic 1904 Canadian Bank of Commerce building, Brownstone Restaurant is a beloved dining spot in downtown Kamloops. With a seasonal menu that showcases the very best BC products and local beers, this classy establishment offers innovative dishes and house-made rustic bread, cheeses, and charcuterie. The restaurant's garden courtyard provides fresh herbs and salad greens for their culinary creations.
During our recent visit, we enjoyed a satisfying dining experience. We ordered the grilled pork loin chop and the pan-roasted chicken breast—both dishes were excellently prepared. The pork loin was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and the chicken breast was tender and flavorful. We finished with the chocolate mousse for dessert, which was a rich and creamy. A perfect end to a great meal. We’ll definitely be returning!

Went for a weekend dinner at Brownstone Restaurant. They're one of the few high end spots in town. Courtyard’s perfect for outdoor dining. Mains are $28.00 to $52.00. - Sangria ($13.00) - Besamé ($13.00) - Prawn ceviche ($17.00) - tiny portion - Smoked duck breast ($35.00) - excellent polenta. Cherry fig complimented the duck - Elk osso buco ($39.00) - special of the night. Elk was dry, scallop potatoes were delicious - Herb crusted Pacific red snapper ($31.00) - flaky and moist. Enjoyed the chive risotto, variety of veg (carrots, asparagus, red pepper) - Cioppino ($30.00)
J — Google review
A good restaurant with good service. Some exceptional dishes and some misses. Service was great from some and mid from others. We had a variety of dishes - the rabbit spanakopita was great, the pork chop also great. The paella was sort of paella. The steak was a chewy mess. Cocktails were also hit and miss. Certainly missing the details for a premium priced establishment.
John W — Google review
Been to this restaurant twice, once in 2023 and once in 2025, I'll have to say the food in 2023 was better. This time the lamp was overcooked and the seafood dish came out somewhat cold. Service was good as always, I like their courtyard and the heritage building. Really nice in the summer.
V P — Google review
The Brownstone offers a classic and classy ambiance in the dining room and an imaginative menu with locally sourced ingredients. The wine list features local BC wines. We started with a smoked beetroot salad with a fennel and goat cheese dressing and a spanakopita stuffed with duck and topped with apple slices. Our server was very knowledgeable about the drink and food selections and was always Johnny on the spot. Mains were a mixed seafood stew and salmon served over whipped horseradish potatoes with grilled vegetables. Both were flavorful and delicious. The serving of the seafood stew was HUGE and could easily be shared. I should’ve ordered the regular potatoes because the horseradish potatoes slightly overpowered the salmon.
Peter M — Google review
A great restaurants, wonderful menus, we were going to just have a main course but the starters were too tempting, we had crab cakes and the Rabbit, followed by Salmon by the lamb couscous. Then our waitress brought the dessert menus, we both had the maple Creme brûlée historic. Our waitress was friendly and super helpful. Eat way more than we should have! Thank you Polly at the Rocky Mountaineer for the recommendation . We booked in advance
George B — Google review
Food was good, the salmon dish was a bit bland, while the other red snapper was good. The elk meatballs and potatoes were perfect and highly recommend. Service was good and inside was bit warm inside on a hot day
Thomas T — Google review
A group of us attended for my mother's 70th birthday dinner. The service was superb. Our waiter was knowledgeable about both the meal orders and their various flavors and preparation methods as well as the wine and drink pairings. The food was scrumptious and filling and our group was happy with the little nook we were given for a private dining experience. We were a little loud so I do hope we didn't negatively impact the atmosphere for other guests at the establishment. Beyond brilliant experience. Well done.

Restaurant
Nestled in downtown Kamloops, Peter's Pasta is a charming family-owned Italian eatery that has been serving up delectable hand-crafted noodles since 1983. Despite its modest size, the restaurant is a popular spot, often with a line-up or waitlist on weekends. Run by the dynamic husband and wife team of Nicole and Barry, who took over from Nicole's parents, this cozy establishment offers an authentic taste of Italy.
A fan favourite restaurant in town. Has been around a long time, and has a lot of regulars who come periodically. Why? Because the pasta is fantastic and the service is excellent. When we go, we usually share a couple pasta dishes to maximize what we get to try. It's a big menu and would take you a while to get through. Among the fan favourites are the fettuccine Alfredo and the short rib ravioli. While they specialize in pasta, it's worth noting there are a handful of non-pasta options and a gluten-free gnocchi as well. You can't go wrong with anything on this menu! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Bryson H — Google review
A gem in Kamloops! We were so hungry after a day in the lake, and found this cute restaurant on Victoria Street. Cozy atmosphere, lots of options in their menu and the staff was super kind. I got the Chicken Mushroom pasta, and husband got the large lasagna. Both were fantastic! Huge portions, amazing flavor and they come with garlic toasts. Highly recommended place!

Working abroad. I have been to Kamloops, B.C. several times in the span of my career. My kid brother resides here. He suggested Peter's Pasta for dinner. I had asked a co worker, also residing in Kamloops the previous evening about this establishment. " A staple of Kamloops, everyone knows & goes there ". Small, yet great ambiance. Had a nice warm vibe. The place was packed. Great personable staff & the food was amazing. This is a pasta restaurant, fresh made. Spinach dip & Ceasar salad to start. And Lamb Ragu for the main. You will not leave hungry here folks. A must if you enjoy fine dining with reasonable prices.
Richard P — Google review
The food here is delicious and the service is friendly and knowledgeable. I had the Butternut Squash Gnocchi made gluten free and without the bacon. The sauce was thick, perfectly flavoured and just the right amount. Our server last night was incredible. (I'm sorry I can't recall her name) Very friendly and knowledgeable about what was safe for me to eat. I felt confident that my food would be safe for me to eat.

You know that perfect Christmas that you had as a kid? And now you’ve been chasing that perfect feeling for the rest of your life? You never have to chase that dragon at Peters Pasta. It’s as good as the first time. Every. Time. I eat there far too much. So much the entire staff knows my order. It is literally the best pasta you will ever taste. Sometimes there is a line to get in. Stand in the line. You will not regret it. I would wait days for this menu.
Hezzy C — Google review
Finally got to try it—and it was worth the wait! I’d been looking forward to visiting Peter’s Pasta for a while, and I finally made it! The food absolutely lived up to the hype—fresh, comforting, and full of flavour. The only thing to note is that the space is quite tight, especially when it’s busy. It can feel a little cramped, but the quality of the food definitely makes up for it. A cozy spot that’s perfect for a casual pasta fix! Wish it was opened for a longer duration tho.
Sakshi S — Google review
Food was delicious, service was top notch. Nice clean restaurant. Great service from Sage & Riley!! 😊
Aj B — Google review
Was there at tail end of dinner rush but was in sooner than expected (shortish wait), lovely atmosphere, good sized 2 person table, good service and food came fast. Delicious food. First pasta dish my husband has ever eaten, let alone enjoyed. Great desserts. Good wine selection. Worthy of the hype unlike some places in town. We will certainly be back!

Takeout Restaurant
Jacob's Noodle & Cutlet is a casual eatery that offers a variety of Japanese and Korean dishes at reasonable prices. The menu focuses on traditional flavors, featuring noodles and cutlets served with house-made sauces. The restaurant has a modern decor with exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and an airy ambiance. Diners can enjoy specialties like the Kamloops Cutlet and the Downtown Roll, as well as the famous Sundubu-jjigae.
One of those hidden gems that you would not think twice about just walking by, but once you get inside it's a very cozy atmosphere and busy which is a good indicator of the great food they serve. Stainless steel chopsticks were cool 😎 never used those before! Went here because my daughter got a gift certificate from an event she attended and it was a good choice. I tried the sampler and was amazed at the light crispy batter they used and everything was fresh and flavorful. Staff was helpful, and I understand it was busy. Highly recommended for authentic food, deliciously prepared, thank you! 🤩
Darrel B — Google review
We had lunch at Jacob’s Noodle and Cutlet, and it was absolutely delicious! The pork cutlet was especially outstanding — crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Portions were very generous, easily enough to satisfy a big appetite. The ramen and sundubu (soft tofu stew) were perfect comfort food for cold weather, rich and flavorful. The set lunch was excellent value, and the tempura served was light, crispy, and perfectly done. Overall, this was the best meal we’ve had so far — great taste, big portions, and amazing value. Highly recommended!

Amazing Food & Great Atmosphere! I had the chicken cutlet salad, and it was incredible! The cutlet was perfectly crispy, light, and not too greasy—just the way it should be. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, a great spot to enjoy a meal. Plus, the prices are pretty reasonable for the quality you get. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Decent restaurant, Kinjo vibes. Fast service and definitely a huge menu. Ask staff for assistance with the menu if feeling lost. No issues with food. Cold beers. Found it a bit pricy for the portion sizes.
Eddy S — Google review
I had the beef Nabe Ramyun, and found the broth to be underwhelming, and the noodles overcooked and way too soft. However our server was lovely and the non ramen dishes that I saw served around me looked quite good.
Kipp — Google review
The food was exceptionally good here. Really fresh and fun flavour combinations. It was also reasonably priced for big portions. Would definitely recommend.
Jordan B — Google review
Fantastic! We had fast and friendly service but the food was to die for! Definitely get the cutlet. It is the perfect texture! The chicken was juicy and cutlet was crispy. Absolutely cooked to perfection!
Jess C — Google review
Must say this is one of the best restaurant in town. I enjoyed all the dishes there. They have pretty much a great variety of dishes with a combination of Japanese and Korean cuisine. The space looks small but somehow so spacious. Even though it is difficult to get a table for 6, we still enjoyed 2 tables of 2 and 4. We didn’t mind though. Will definitely come back.

Cocktail bar
Cordo Resto & Bar in Kamloops is a must-visit for those who appreciate regional craft beers, wines, and exceptional food. The name "Cordo" reflects the restaurant's commitment to honoring the region's unique offerings. With a focus on using fresh herbs, classic cooking methods, and wines from the Thompson Okanagan Region, Cordo creates an experience that celebrates local ingredients and flavors. Visitors have praised the restaurant for its stellar food, impressive selection of local wines, and professional service.
This fine-dining establishment offers a diverse menu, making it suitable for various occasions, including our recent Christmas reunion. The festive decorations created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the spacious layout allowed us to comfortably enjoy Christmas games. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring our drinks were always full and my coffee remained fresh. Our server, in particular, provided exceptional service. While the burger, squid and charcuterie were both good, the spicy pork belly was truly outstanding. However, the highlight was the white chocolate crème brûlée. It wasn't just the flavor that impressed – the texture was exquisite. The custard was smooth and fresh, and the caramelized top was perfectly executed, neither burnt nor overly hot. This exceptional dessert, combined with the excellent service and festive ambiance, will undoubtedly bring me back for another visit.
Tatiana P — Google review
I came by Cordo Resto as a rest stop while coming to visit family in Shuswap. I was lucky to get there during their Brunch period and that the establishment was not busy at all. I was greeted to a table right away and asked what I wanted to drink. I ordered the Banana Split Sugar Waffles with a Cappuccino. The Cappuccino was pretty foamy yet still very good. The waffles were extravagantly delicious. Looking at it almost looked like the ice cream dessert. All the fruit and sugary topping went great with the entree while the whipped cream was rapturous. The waffles themselves were very good on their own and was consistently crunchy, even with all the sweet foam, compote and syrup on top of it. Being this is a restaurant inside a hotel, the interior had a modern yet very classy aesthetic to it that persuaded me at first sight. There was a café bar as well in case you wanted to order something for take-out. The service was top-notch and never felt like I was being neglected. I was very glad to stop by the Cordo Resto and pay my patronage to this restaurant. I do hope to come back there again to try another one of their unique entrée.

The gin flight was fun. The wellness bowl was nice for a lighter dinner, but could have used a vinaigrette or even some lime juice to brighten it up a bit. Service was excellent.

I got the CRB for takeout! The food came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The burger was cooked perfectly, with all the toppings layered just right. The fries were crispy without being greasy, and the portions were generous for the price. Service was fast and friendly, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. Everything was packaged neatly so it still tasted great by the time I got back to the hotel room . Definitely one of the best spots for a quick, satisfying meal—I’ll be coming back again soon!

Incredible service and cocktails from Ash at the bar. She made great recommendations on both food and drinks to help me find exactly what I was looking for. No complaints on the dinner or atmosphere either. All around, I highly recommend!

Came here for happy hour, although the food menu has limited options, the drink menu offers decent red and white wine options. I got the lamp lollipop and parmesan garlic fries, both on the bland side. Loved the Pinot Noir from Sandhill.

We made early reservations for our anniversary dinner and could not be more happy. Service was excellent and our server was a delightful young woman who made every effort to make our evening special. Ramen restaurant
Japanese restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a cozy spot to indulge in authentic Japanese cuisine, look no further than Tiger Ramen. Nestled in a charming timber-clad space, this delightful eatery specializes in fresh ramen made right on-site. With limited seating due to their dedicated ramen maker, it’s best to arrive early and savor the experience.
If you are looking for authentic Japanese-style ramen, Tiger Ramen is the best in town. Was a patron for several years until I moved away, but coming back felt like coming back home. Come here hungry! The ramen will fill you right up, and the gyoza are to die for. I honestly dream of the gyoza they are that good.
Taylor ( — Google review
Tiger Ramen is a casual and cozy Japanese ramen restaurant. I really wanted to love this place but a few things fell short: the tare (or salty mixture in ramen was floating on top and not mixed with the broth), there was cabbage as the veggie which didn't seem to suit the dish, and the egg was a soft boiled egg instead of a soy marinated ajitama. In the end, Tiger Ramen is a nice choice for ramen in Kamloops. I prefer the ramen in the Vancouver area but this hits the spot for a limited area.
D M — Google review
It's a super cute and authentic Japanese ramen shop. The place is small but cozy, and the noodles are quite good. I just wish the spicy ramen were a bit spicier 😊 Overall, it's great — definitely recommended! ‼️
Kate K — Google review
I enjoyed my ramen in the quaint property. They food was fresh and tasty. The seating is limited, and expect to dine at a shared table. I enjoyed this as it added to my experience. The dishes come as is, and one needs to add the extras at a cost. I had the Miso Ramen and added egg, seaweed, and green onion. Enjoy
Gary H — Google review
Small and cozy ramen joint with tiger 虎 themed deco! Their broth was quite rich with medium noodle. We liked tiger shoyu the most. If you prefer lighter broth, I would recommend ocean ramen. It was very easy to eat.
Kanako S — Google review
Tiger Ramen in Kamloops has been one of our favourite spots for years, but the last couple of visits, including today, left us disappointed. The flavour is still great, but the portions have definitely gotten smaller. I usually order the garlic chicken rice, and my husband tries different ramen each time with different spice levels. Lately, the chicken in the garlic chicken rice has been much less, and the ramen bowls have more noodles but not as much meat. I’d rather pay a bit more and have the same portions we used to get. Cutting back like this changes the whole experience, which is a shame for a place we’ve always enjoyed.
Dilukshi A — Google review
Real, authentic ramen! Delicious, fresh made. The different posters and action figures/anime figures were an amazing touch! 12/10 would eat here again!
Sara D — Google review
Love this little place. Good food, nice service. Little bit of a small seating area but not to bad for a wait when its yummy food. Funky Japanese anime skate vibe. Also wait time varies depending on where you want to be seated since some spots have a 6 table 3 spot and also single seats. Can be squeezed in one of the single booths with a friend but its a bit to snug for my liking but can be done if needed.

Mexican restaurant
Casa Azul Kamloops is a vibrant restaurant located in the heart of downtown on Victoria Street. The colorful, cantina-style decor sets the stage for a relaxed dining experience where you can enjoy traditional Mexican fare and drinks. The menu features savory dishes adorned with delightful salsas and sauces, as well as delectable sweet treats like flan, fried churros, Mexican bunuelo, and banana empanada.
Had already eaten at the Afrofusion restaurant next door but stopped by Casa Azul because I miss Mexico so much. Had a non alcoholic beer, then saw the flan which I ordered with mint tea. It was excellent, I think that the chef sneaks in a bit of maple syrup. Very good and attentive service. The decor and music are lovely.

The new quesadilla birra was absolutely fantastic - a must-try! The flan was also quite good. The restaurant was empty when I went, so the service was fast and efficient. Everything was hot and fresh when it arrived. A great spot for a quick, tasty meal.

This place has either so much potential or was once amazing but is now on a downward spiral. The speed and efficiency of service has to change. It can’t take 30 minutes to make 3 drinks and take a tables order when only 4 tables have customers. It just can’t. You will never have repeat customers The shrimp cocktail appetizer needs more Tortilla Chips. 6-7 shrimp then it’s all cocktail sauce with a handful of chips to eat the rest. We were done the chips and the glass was still full of sauce The meat in the tacos was tough and so overcooked it was not chewable. No salsa or sauce - have it order and pay separate Please taste your food before serving it. It was Like it was reheated. I had no sauce or salsa with my burrito . When I inquired they said I had to choose and it was $2.50 for a tiny paper cup of salsa you use to squirt ketchup into at fast food places If times are that tough add $1.00 to the dishes to cover the costs of the salsa. I’ve never had to order my sauce at a Mexican restaurant Most places have different salsas and hot sauces on the table. The gorditas were good but needed fried more All of the dishes were $20+ Go somewhere else Please owners - regroup, refine your menu If you can’t make drinks fast ya need to cut some out - same with the menu. If it’s too much to handle - keep it to 10 dishes you can do well
J R — Google review
Good portion sizes and decent food in an appropriately bright colour atmosphere. The food is fresh and well presented, need an accessible selection of hot sauces. Would recommend the place for a Mexican food fiesta.

Stopped by on our road trip for a late lunch and got a table immediately. The spicy chicken tacos were really amazing and we had to repeat the order to enjoy more. The margaritas were delicious. The staff seemed pretty rushed and confused for some reason and we’re hurrying to clear up the table, didn’t offer water unless asked and forgot to grab glasses. The place wasn’t so busy but the ambience and food were spot on. Highly recommend this place.
Lekha R — Google review
The waitress was absolutely darling! BUT I got 1 of each of the tacos and was a bit sad with them, I was so stoked and they were not great, the meat had very little flavor, the curb tortillas were dried out and very little in the tacos. My husband's fish and shrimp tacos were sadly no better and then we got charged $2 for a sauce because the tacos were so plain Food: 3/5 | Service:

We tried 10 tacos platter including 4 different types of tacos came with side dishes ( rice and black beans). It was a proper portion for two people. I loved the chicken and fish tacos the most.

We always come here when we are in Kamloops. They are so good with my gluten allergy (I'm a celiac). I haven't gotten sick from their food yet and it tastes amazing! They are very good about allergies. We will keep coming here as long as the food stays as delicious as it is.

Kekuli Café Coffee- Kamloops is a unique and fast-casual restaurant that prides itself on using local and Indigenous ingredients in their menu. They offer a variety of dishes such as PowWow Power Bowls with Saskatoon BBQ Chicken, Scrambled Beef, or Blueberry Venison. The café is known for its Bannock, which comes in flavors like Skor, Maple Glaze, Berry, and Lemon Butterhorn.
This was the best food I’ve had in a very long time. Very thankful I got to stop in. Got some bannock donuts to go for my eye surgeons office staff which they were very thankful to receive . The Saskatoon lemonade is dangerously addictive, I gulped down two of them in fifteen minutes.

After finishing a long night shift as a nurse, Kekuli Café is always such a comforting stop for me. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and Elijah always greets me so kindly every morning—it’s such a nice touch that he really makes my day. He even remembers my favorites: the cheese bannock and the venison bannock, both of which are absolutely delicious. Their PowWow bowls are also amazing—fresh, hearty, and full of flavour. But the real star is the bannock. If you go first thing in the morning, it’s warm, soft, and freshly made. You seriously can’t beat it. It’s the perfect start to any day!

Worth driving off the highway for this!! Fresh, soft, flavourful bannock!!! The Saskatoon lemonade is just the right sweetness with the real flavour of Saskatoon berries. Very impressed. Pls come to Alberta!!!

A very interesting tasting pastry like food because I have never tried bannock before. A warm greetings from people in queue, but some blinds are broken so it is very uncomfortable if the sun 🌞 is in your face. I was lucky enough to snag a different table when someone was leaving (but another almost took table). I didn't realize that the can drinks are sugar free because it was good enough.

Sweet little spot across the hospital. I had the wild sockeye salmon bannock and my mom had the cinnamon bannock. Was delicious 🎣
Monika E — Google review
Went in here yesterday for the first time it wasn’t very busy only 1 table occupied. I stood at the counter over 10 minutes waiting to be served. I finally got the cheese bannock. Worst bannock I have ever had in my life!!! It was more of a bun type and tasted a like cinnamon sugar not a cheese bun. Guess they have them to close the sugar coated ones 🤦‍♀️ Asked to have it warmed up and she rolled her eyes at me!! Was still cold and then moments after she went for a smoke break Needless to say rude service and not very good bannock Will not be back
Erica R — Google review
Got a couple of the pastries. They were fine. A little heavy and a little chewy. And a Taco bowl. The Bannock is just a sliced bun served on the side. Plain, nothing on it. The taco bowl was just a bowl of ingredients. The most powerful flavour in the dish was the sour cream. Zero seasoning of any kind in the meat or rice. Presentation was great. The food looked really good. But leaves a lot to be desired. They've got the framework for a great brand. But they need to find a flavour. Any flavour. Id give it a 4.5/10. For presentation and service. But food is what keeps people coming back and i wont be. Meh. 🤷‍♂️

The Noble Pig Brewhouse and Restaurant in Kamloops is the city's first microbrewery, offering a unique blend of house-brewed craft beers and elevated pub grub. The menu features delectable dishes such as local pork and duck rillettes, tuna and chorizo Chile rellenos, buffalo duck wings, and fresh Bavarian pretzels with beer mustard.
The beer was good. Especially the Mocha Porter. Or server was excellent. Efficient, friendly and attentive. The food was great. I had the Free Run Chicken (no bun due to gluten sensitivity - could have had a gf one but prefer none). I'll be back here when I'm in town again.

Server was super nice and friendly! We tried the bees knees pizza, and the flagship Mac & Cheese! The Mac & cheese was good! But the pizza, the pizza was amazing. Perfectly crispy & thinish, nice garlic flavour and the hot honey balanced it out. Definitely give it a try!

We came here with a team. The food was amazing. I wasn’t too sure about the chicken burger I got (pesto chicken) but the server recommended it. It was delicious. Also, the side salads looked amazing. The fries were proper fries. The service was friendly and very helpful. The beer was also very good. I would come back and recommend this place for sure!

Came here for dinner with my kids around 7:00 p.m. on a Saturday night. We were greeted by a friendly server and seated in a nice booth. The service was pretty fast and they let us order drinks and food items right away. The food came out quite quickly and was well prepared. I asked for a menu variation because I wanted more protein in my meal so they did a boneless option for me which was quite nice. They have some to-go beer options if that's something you like. They have a really nice patio and it seems to be dog friendly which is an awesome option for dog owners. Overall, it was a very good experience and I wouldn't hesitate to come back. My only criticism was that my chicken sandwich was not one piece of chicken, but rather a series of smaller dark meat pieces lumped together. But the bacon was crispy and the sauce was tasty. So overall it was still a very good dish.

We went on Friday evening. Atmosphere is always good and the food was great as well! Unfortunately a table that was seated way after us, got their appies first (same thing we ordered), and we were waiting quite a bit. Our appetizers came out after we got out main food. Which felt a bit like a waste. We found the pickles a bit overdone as well. The prices are honestly unreasonable. To pay around $20 for a chopped up breaded pickle - is a bit unrealistic even for today's cost of living/price hikes. I know, it's our fault for ordering it tbh. The waiter we had told me that there was mashed potatoes in the Yorkie when I had asked if there was, and it came out without mashed potatoes. Food - tasted and looked great though Cost - unrealistic prices for what they're serving. Atmosphere- good but the resteraunt was fairly empty on a Friday evening downtown. Still clean and looked nice. Service - both waiter and waitress (our waiter was cut and so we had another waitress assigned to us) were friendly, lovely and overall provided excellent service. Overall, still is a good place to go if you can justify the prices somehow. The mishap with our appies was whatever and I get that sometimes that happens. Overall 3/5 stars.

We tried the Pad thai and it's a Canadian take on the dish. The pizza Bees Knees was a sweet take with local sourced salami. Amsterdam Restaurant, a charming eatery in Kamloops with over two decades of history, is a cozy spot for breakfast and lunch that embodies community spirit and culinary mastery. This locally owned gem is celebrated for its welcoming staff, excellent coffee, and dedication to using fresh ingredients, including local produce. Their menu caters to various dietary preferences such as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. For vegans seeking breakfast options, Amsterdam offers fully vegan crepes among other choices.
Delicious meals. In my experience it was a quite unique experience. Never really tried this style of breakfast, but it was well worth the visit! The place wasn't the best looking, but it's good enough if you just want a nice meal with your loved ones. It was quite busy, and their reservation system was a bit all over the place, but if you can get past it all, you're in for a delight. I recommend their Krokets and any of their waffles or pancakes.

This is the second time I have eaten here and I was not disappointed. I had the Dutch Delicacy Pannekoek and with the first bite and taste I knew I had chosen very wisely. My daughter and son ordered Eggs Bendicts and they also were very pleased. What I also appreciated was the good and strong coffee - none of this brown coloured watered stuff. The food we ordered came within 10 minutes; hence no long wait. Overall the whole experience was wonderful with great and attentive table service. If you are looking for a special and tasty breakfast/brunch, this is the place!

Cozy and welcoming. I came here twice within my 3 day trip because of all the vegan options. This is the kind of place where staff actually listen and know the menu inside out. They get vegan and vegetarian needs—no awkward explanations required. Even the toast comes with vegan butter by default.

We have been eating here for years whenever we are in Kamloops. The menu is extensive and it’s sooo difficult to choose! The servers here seem to stay a while and the whole place seems to operate very efficiently. You always have to wait for a table but it’s only for 5-15 minutes. One suggestion……I would prefer breakfast potatoes that are not deep fried.

ATLAS Steak + Fish in Kamloops offers a unique take on the traditional steakhouse experience. The restaurant boasts an elegant dining room with a soothing ambiance surrounded by lush greenery, providing the perfect setting to enjoy their nuanced and modern approach to North American cuisine.
Genuinely one of the best meals I've ever had, I didn't even care about the price. I got the truffle tenderloin with like that white and brown sause. I need to figure out that recipe. The server said the main ingredient was creme fresh, I have no idea what that is but I need to get it. The chef had genuine experience and you could taste it. Had little mushrooms with long stalks and tiny onions that tasted like chives. They are not understaffed at all and the service is immaculate. Got truffles shaved on it and I never had truffle both under whelming but helped kick it up a notch. Normally in restaurants the bathroom mirror makes me feel super ugly but the lighting made me feel like I was actually kind of pretty. The best thing you can find in the casino other than winning double your life savings. My boyfriend got the halibut lobster and the rochuto. But like seriously I NEED that recipe and I need to make it for a family dinner. Genuinely made me feel like a kid again.
Kate G — Google review
Service was good. We had calamari as an appetizer. The dish was weird and did not taste good at all. Potatoes and beef wrapped in a rubber bad. And whatever sauce that was did not go with it. Steak was descent but not worth the price. Dinner for 2 with 2 drinks each came out to $240.00. I definitely will not be going back. I would be willing to pay that price if the dishes were actually edible.

Another terrific meal at Atlas. You will find terrific service, great food and a wonderful atmosphere each and every visit. If you’re looking for an amazing night out, celebrating a special event or just want a top tier steak and some drinks, Atlas never disappoints. This is obviously a higher end restaurant and the prices reflect the quality, but it is well worth it every single time. The tomahawk steak with all of the accoutrements was to die for, you will also find a wide array of appetizer options that will satisfy any appetite or diet. We will absolutely be back again and again.

Went in for breakfast with a couple of friends! All 3 meals wer e delicious and filling! We had the cutest little waitress serve our water and food to us! It is definitely a busy place and we are glad we arrived early as by the time we left, most tables were full! Definitely will be back!!

We ordered a couple of their vegan options and they were delicious - and that jerk sauce, wow! Both dishes were very spicy, much more than either of us expected. I'm generally a fan of spicy, but this was a bit much for me. Definitely would go there again, but would ask for mild next time. Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly.

Four of us had lunch on a weekend. We were seated immediately. There is an Indian influence in the food and menu. The food is reasonably priced and came out quickly. Unfortunately the quality is very poor. Lunch pork dish was served with roti which had been microwaved and was too tough to eat. The pulled pork was the toughest pork I’ve ever had so clearly not slow cooked as Jamaican pulled pork should be. While my side of braised vegetables was fine it was not Caribbean in nature. The beef patties were okay but I prefer a mix with potatoes and peas and onions vs the just beef of these patties. And again the Pattie’s were not oven roasted. So basically my take is this meal came out of the microwave. The Jamaican wings appeared to have been microwaved. Lastly the staff never asked how the meal was so no opportunity for them to correct the issues.

For many years my wife and I have come here for probably the best and most flavourful breakfasts in all of Kamloops . I usually get Breakfast Skillet and my wife the Jamaican Sunshine Benny. Our grandson really enjoyed the French Toast breakfast, he cleaned up his plate. Every time we have come we find the same consistency and quality. The service is friendly. Of course Jamaican decor does add to the quality of the entire experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow! Went for breakfast today and was greeted by the nicest young ladies. I had the Jamaican Skillet (without the cheese and johnny cakes as I am dairy and gluten intolerant - love that there is options for this accommodation) and WOW! So much flavor!! The atmosphere was great - it's bright, happy, inviting and friendly. The service was exceptional. The food was everything I could want in a quality meal - fresh ingredients, full of flavor, not greasy/oily in any way, cooked perfectly! Highly recommend this place!

Staff are friendly, colour decor as you’d expect to find in a Jamaican restaurant. Found a cute corner table which was perfect to see the restaurant as well as into the kitchen. Music was a great vibe, old dub mixed with newer beats and the chef was grooving to it. We had the Jerk Tofu plate, was very flavourful. Right amount of sweet and spice in the jerk. Johnny Cakes were great to mop up any sauce. Very fresh and not too heavy. Curried goat was amazing, just enough heat and great depth of flavour. Beef patty, lovely flaky pastry and packed with well seasoned lean beef. I’ll get flamed for this by the traditionalists but if there was some cheese inside too I would’ve ordered ten to go!!! Great experience, would gladly go back and try the rest!!!

Super cozy little café. The food was delicious and I had the gluten-free vegan chocolate brownie and it was amazing tasting. The hot chocolate with oatmilk was really good too. They have lots of good food options but I went in for a sweet little treat. It's really nice having places that accommodate different dietary restrictions and this is one of them.

We were driving through Kamloops and Read reviews about gluten free options so found our way there. It is located down town with metered parking which was limited but we found a spot on a Wednesday. The cafe has ample seating inside and some outside as well. No wifi was available and only one bathroom for everyone that had long waits. There was lots of art and jewelry on display and for purchase. They had a water station which was handy. There were quite a few gluten free options for lunch and or breakfast. I ordered the quiche with salad and my husband had broccoli cheddar soup which came with corn bread and a spanakopita. All was flavorful. I ordered a large haystack cookie for the road which was very good. It’s nice to have a place that provides gf and vegan options as well as regular items.

I have been to the art we are a lot, as I use to work downtown. It’s been a little time but I didn’t expect much to change. To my surprise the prices changed and the portions. I asked for the quiche with no side assuming I wouldn’t be charged the full price however I was !! 15.75 after tax’s When I sat at the table and opened the box I laughed and showed my friends I was with what I paid for and they both were in shock. The smallest slice of quiche and the thinnest. I am not use to this from the art we are but this made me change my opinion and perspective of this cafe. I would have been alright with paying 10$ maybe for this as I didn’t get the side. And the lady at the till did not inform Me there wasn’t a change in price as I paid for everyone’s stuff this day. I find this practice to be greedy and gross, it’s simple to add a quiche only price and have that at a comfortable price that isn’t only gauging the customer. I understand food prices have gone up and obviously labour cost as well. But 15.75 I could buy two quiche at Costco for this price. Sadly I’ll be going to other cafes in town with fair prices.

The coffee itself was not good either. There were a bunch of coffee grounds in the Canadiano. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a Welcoming and Delicious Experience! We had a wonderful time at Spice Kamloops! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming especially toward my children, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. They went above and beyond, even bringing out fresh naan just for my son without us having to ask. The food was absolutely delicious flavorful, fresh, and a great variety on the buffet. It’s rare to find a place that not only serves amazing food but also makes families feel comfortable and relaxed.

Service with a smile and quick. The restaurant always appears clean and has a very nice atmosphere and lighting. I ordered butter chicken, rice and naan. I made the mistake of ordering mild butter chicken, it had more of a tomato soup flavor than butter chicken flavor. Also I ordered to share with a friend, there was not enough chicken for 2 people. Maybe 1 chicken breast worth in a large container of sauce. This has happened 2x now so I'm guessing it's what they usually provide. Next time I will dine in to see if there is a quantity difference. The butter chicken I think was $24. Not really worth it for such a small amount of chicken.

We just started coming here earlier this year, and the whole experience is great. I like the service, everyone is so friendly, and always smiling. I've always had great food here, I've never been disappointed. Thank you Spice, you're my new favorite place in the North Shore!!

UPDATE July 28/2025—-after reaching out via email and Facebook several times regarding our issues with the Mother’s Day meals in mid May, we still have not received any kind of response from Spice restaurant. Ridiculous and sad. I would think that a restaurant kept afloat by its loyal locals would want to investigate and at least apologize for the terrible experience that I have written below. Nope. May 2025. We dine in or get take out from Spice often….for almost 5 years now. It’s always good…..except for this past Mother’s day for their special buffet. We were greeted warmly by the hostess—the staff here are always great in person and we sat down. The restaurant was insanely loud and we could not hear our hostess (we are in our early 50s). Unfortunately, the floors were a disaster due to several tables allowing their young toddlers to throw food repeatedly. We went up to the buffet numerous times only to find most trays were empty of food. I never did get any veggie pakoras, the Indian veggie dish or the paneer dish. Managed to get a few koftas that were left behind. As a vegetarian, this made my meal very small, certainly not worth $35 per person price. The lentil dish which I always love was tasteless. All the food was lukewarm and the lentil dish was cold. Naan was good but you needed to grab it quick before it too was long gone. When it was dessert time, there was only 1 serving left for a full restaurant. Unfortunately I had horrible tummy upset all night and all the next day that no amount of Eno, Rolaids, or Pepto could fix. I did not eat any meat (vegetarian). My husband had violent food poisoning for 2 days and missed work. He was literally praying for death…..it was that bad. He had eaten the beef, chicken and lamb. Giving it 2 stars because of past good experiences but this last experience was terrible and has turned us off Indian food. Not getting any response after informing them numerous times of food poisoning is unforgivable.

Samosas were delicious, as was the butter chicken, lamb Rogan Josh and peshwari naan. Best Indian food we have had in a very long time. Highly recommend.

Pizza Pi Kamloops is a laid-back counter service spot that offers craft beers and pizzas made with locally sourced ingredients. The menu features a wide variety of delicious pizzas, wings, salads, and bread. They use products like lactose-free goat cheese, micro-greens, kombucha, pepperoni, ham, and sausages from the Vernon Sausage Company.
My wife and I have over the years have eaten here. A key component in any pizza is the quality of the crust. Take the word of my wife and I, the crust we find at Pizza Pi is “top shelf”. We ordered pizza and were very pleased. It was no problem for one pizza to be customized to our preferences. I highly recommend the pizza at this restaurant. In our opinion, the best pizza in Kamloops!!
Ed N — Google review
Spending time in Kamloops for work and went to Google for a pizza recommendation. Found this restaurant and the reviews looked reasonable. Ordered a large meat pizza and all I can say is the pizza is bland. This usually isn’t case with a meat pizza, but the only flavour seems to be some spice from the sausage and the oddly burnt bottom of the pizza. Not much else to say as the staff were pleasant but bland pizza ($32) and $7.50 for about 6 oz of ranch is not worth it. Charge a premium price for pizza and you have to provide a premium product.

We ordered take out after a long day at a swim meet. I thought some pizza and a salad would be nice and easy for the kids. While the pizza was fine, the “Greek salad” actually made me feel embarrassed to have spent that amount of money for not much more than romaine lettuce and a few olives. Cucumbers, tomatoes? No sir. I understand vegetables are expensive but this was really disappointing. My mistake for expecting more, I suppose. Lesson learned! The staff were nice though and the pizza, like I said, was ok.

I'm still sitting in the restaurant as I write this, that is how good it is. Came here with my mom and the lady who served us was so friendly! The atmosphere is laid back and inviting , they have board games too which is a cool little feature! The food is excellent for price, large portions and very tasty. Overall a warm, friendly place to be. 10/10!

Ordered a Canadian. I got one that has been sitting around all day. I like to make my own left over pizza. The cheese cold and the crust was chewy. Wish I would have read some reviews first.

I couldn't do it man. These guys messed up my order and it was short 1 dip. I got it refunded through uber eats and then called in to know what was up. I'm not the kind of person to shy away from a confrontation, I like to resolve problems. The person that answered struck me as a very well mannered kid who was just trying to make a living like all of us. I couldn't even lose my patience. He handled me like an expert. I let him off and hung up. He called me Sir and everything. Offered to make it up to me. I can't even be mad. He wanted to get my information so that next time he could make sure I got extra dips. He got me. I didn't even care about the money. What's $2 for a dip to me? Nothing really. It's just the principle. And he got that. Top notch triple A service. Give this kid a raise please.

All 1 star across the board unfortunately . I ordered take out online at 8:15pm that was supposed to be ready at 8:50pm. I get there on time and they haven’t even started it yet. The bill was sitting on the printer, hadn’t been touched. The worker said they didn’t see the bill then apologized and told me to wait in the dining room/lounge. I go over to the lounge and someone else says sorry and I sit there for another 20 minutes waiting. No discount offered, not even a complimentary drink. I understand mistakes happen and I won’t avoid them in all my life of ordering food at restaurants. But this is a pretty substantial error, for me to show up on time and they haven’t started making my food yet. I worked in service for a decade, and the restaurants I worked at would go out of their way to make things right, whether by discount or some other way. I got two sorry’s and a thanks for being patient. I’d also be a little more understanding if they were slammed and busy, but I was the only person in there. When I finally get home I find they forgot the dipping sauce that I paid for, and that they don’t put fresh basil on their Margherita pizza. There’s a tiny amount of cooked basil. The pizza was also undercooked , probably a result of trying to rush the order since they were late with it. Really, really disappointing experience. This was my first time trying Pizza Pi and I will not be back.

Bright Eye Brewing, located in Kamloops, is not just a craft brewery but also offers an excellent food menu. During special events like Oktoberfest, they serve unique dishes such as ramen made with German beer. Their regular menu includes mouth-watering options like smoked brisket, creole prawn risotto, pork bulgogi Philly melt, and a variety of burgers and pizza.
Food was great! 1) the bright eye burger was great lots of flavour 2) the in house ketchup was amazing one of the highlights of the meal 3) chicken burger: solid 4) brussel sprouts: really tasty but by the end it was way too oily and couldn’t finish them (half order for 2 people)

Incredible food and just the most delicious beers and ciders. Too many to choose from, I just had to have a flight. Had two different seasonal desserts and they were absolutely incredible.
Erich H — Google review
This brewery was recommended to us for their beers and the in house ketchup sauce and boy o boy, it didn't disappoint! We were on our way back from camping at North of Kamloops and we decided to stop here for our lunch before heading back to Vancouver. It's a big space and the interiors are rustic with some modern layout and artwork. The food and beer is excellent. I would have liked to see some more beer options for a brewery. For food, we had sandwiches which were well crafted and were flavourful. I loved the fried chicken sandwich. The sandwich is served with a side of crispy fries and the in house ketchup which was absolutely smashing! The only downside to this place was their service. They took more than an hour to get us our sandwiches.

Bright Eye Brewing in Kamloops was a BC Ale Trail destination for me. Separated into two halves it offers a spacious bright seating side and a pub style side with an entertaining arcade games area. Good food and craft beer options.

Bright Eye Brewing is a great local spot that’s best known for its Ota beer, but I decided to try one of their food items instead. I ordered the beef and duck fat sandwich, and it was perfectly cooked. The menu isn’t very large, but that’s understandable since it’s a brewery, and what they do offer is clearly made with care and quality. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and our waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive, which really added to the experience. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back, or just the good vibes. I’ll definitely be returning!

An amazing experience overall, we came for a quick after work drink and food. We were not disappointed. The server was very helpful and knowledgeable in the different beer offerings. She know the notes and what we described we wanted. Would highly reccomend coming here.

Fantastic brewery and restaurant. We are from out of town and were looking for somewhere nice to unwind after a long week of work at a nearby music festival and this place checked all the boxes. The spot came highly recommended online and did not disappoint! The food was excellent and the menu itself had a really nice diverse selection of offerings while still remaining high quality throughout. We were also impressed with the general portion sizes as well. The “cup” of soup we assumed was a small starter was basically a full sized bowl in itself. We had a signature burger with a side of Brussel sprouts along with the artichoke pizza and the cup of ramen noodles to start and it all tasted fantastic. We also each ordered a flight of beers to try out the selection and every option was solid. Sour Drew was my personal fave but the house Pilsner is also excellent. And lastly the service was top notch as well, we didn’t catch our server’s name but she mentioned she was from Quebec and provided us a really lovely experience overall. Will definitely be coming back on future business trips! Tempted to hit it up again before we leave town.

Had an amazing date night at Bright Eye tonight! Service was amazing! Our server was knowledgeable and our food came out less than 12 minutes after we ordered! The pretzels were delicious, the chicken sandwich was huge, and the beef bombs were superb! I also have to mention how tasty the Brunel sprouts were! Bright Eye Brewing blew away our expectations and we will be back again!!!

My wife HATES whipped cream. She LOVES black forest cake. She is a walking contradiction, but this cake straightened her out. She LOVED the whole thing, whipped cream and all. 11/10 would order again. The price is worth the value and the reviews saying otherwise don't understand good food. This place is now our go to for birthdays and anniversaries. You can't go wrong.

Very busy shop, small and a little crowded. Customer service was really good though. There was a big line up of people deciding what they wanted. A worker went down the line and helped whoever was ready first. I was in and out quickly. The presentation is great, everything in the display case looks beautiful and yummy. They have no prices on the items though, which was weird. I personally like knowing how much I'm spending before picking an item. I tried the chocolate biscotti and a red velvet cake. The biscotti was very good, I dipped it in coffee I made at home. Sadly the cake was very dry. I ate less then half of it and threw the rest away. I was hoping it was just the edges that had been exposed to air after being sliced, but there was just no moisture in the cake at all.

I bought one each of the plain croissant, cheese croissant, almond croissant, and the macaron chocolate cake. All the croissants were delicious, especially the cheese one. The macaron chocolate cake was a bit too sweet — it would be even better with less sugar. Overall, still a nice experience and worth recommending ☺️

Wow, this is a fantastic bakery. It's a little off the beaten track tucked away in Kamloops suburbs but its well worth seeking out. My wife had a double baked almond croissant while I had a cheese and bacon scone both were delicious. I also tried a lime macaroon which was amazing. The staff were so friendly too, this place is a gem

Been twice to Gold Leaf Pastries to grab macarons to go. Puzzled why there’s no prices shown in their display cases. Bought 10 macarons ($3.00 each). Tried honey lavender, caramelia espresso, lime, raspberry, earl grey, passionfruit, mango, lemon, hazelnut crunch, pistachio. Flavours were distinct with a small filling inside. Favourites were lime (tasted like key lime pie), passionfruit, earl grey (strong tea flavour) and pistachio (very nutty).

I ordered a piece of cake, the young Canadian man who took my order was very professional, he putted gloves on to get the cake and put the cake in the container, meanwhile another man took my payment , touching the till screen then after I paid I saw him going to help the young man put my piece of cake in the container without washing his hands after working the till and without putting gloves on. That’s basic hygiene! ! I’m never going back there .

Nestled within the stunning atrium of the Coast Kamloops Hotel & Conference Centre, ROMEOs Kitchen + Spirits offers a smart yet casual dining experience. The restaurant features a diverse menu of familiar international dishes, including classic options like pancakes and sandwiches, as well as more unique offerings such as Moons Over Hammy and Sizzlin Skillets.
We have just had the most enjoyable meal at the excellent Romeo’s Kitchen and Spirits. Made all the more wonderful with the lovely welcome from Jess and the delightful server, Halle, who took such good care of us during our meal. We sat on the outside deck to enjoy the sunshine, warmth and view over Kamloops. Halle suggested I try the Pad Thai, which was delicious, whilst my wife Chose the BC Burger which the chef kindly made gluten free. We could not fault our dining experience at this really lovely restaurant overlooking Kamloops, and wonder at why some people are so intent on finding fault. We loved our evening meal so much that when we return in a weeks time we will definitely return to enjoy the offerings available. Thank you Jess, Halle and chef for making our dining experience so memorable! Friday 18th July This evening we returned to this fabulous restaurant and once again had an absolutely fabulous meal. The young staff are an absolute credit to this excellent restaurant. We had the lovely Brooklyn serve us this evening and she was outstanding! The staff made our visit each time so memorable. Thank you for a second opportunity to enjoy this excellent restaurant in Kamloops.

We were staying at the Coast Hotel and were looking for a quick bite to eat. Romeo's seemed like a good option. Got a table for 4 right away. And our server got us set up with waters and menus. The drinks came and they had mixed up one. So that ha be redone. The other drinks were find. For the meal we split a Quinoa salad. It was okay, good size portion, but hardly had any quinoa. Someone else got the Seafood Chowder, and the Salad with Shrimp. They also were okay, but not inspiring. We felt like we needed some dessert (to finish on a high note). A hot fudge sundae, and sticky toffee pudding. The order for the ice cream came out wrong (they put on caramel sauce instead), and had to be redone. The sticky toffee pudding was good. Overall, a somewhat disappointing experience. Not a place that we would likely come back too.

Beautiful view from the patio. The menu doesn’t have a great selection and I found the prices a bit high so we didn’t eat here while we stayed in the hotel. But we came for a drink and to enjoy the view and it was worth it!

We were really looking forward to a special evening and had high hopes for our dinner, especially with the reservation for the outdoor igloo, which was a lovely touch. The atmosphere was great, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to expectations. The burger was a major letdown— the bun was incredibly stiff, almost as if it was stale, and the plating was far from appetizing. The wings, however, were a pleasant surprise—crispy and flavorful, they were definitely the highlight of the meal. The mushroom pasta, on the other hand, was dry and unappetizing, to the point where we decided to take it home to salvage it with a homemade sauce. It felt like a waste of a dinner we were really excited about. While the igloo experience itself was memorable, the food simply didn’t match the standard we were hoping for. It’s disappointing when the atmosphere sets such high expectations, only for the meal to fall short.

Went here for lunch as we are staying at the hotel. My wife had the fish burger this afternoon. She said the burger was awesome, the waitress was pleasent and professional on the afternoon shift. We were waiting for some friends to arrive and we recommended to them we try Romeos for dinner. Our friends had the steak and the duck, both were happy with thier meals. Few off putting things that occurred... our friend asked the type of duck it was while we ordered the waitress came back at the end of the meal and informed us the kitchen said that it was "water duck"... I ordered a poutine from Romeos it was dry and unsatisfying. My wife ordered a wine and it was an expired/foul bottle the server and manager made an ordeal out of the wine asking to be replaced so we just opted out of the wine. I would like to also toss out there if you would like to Crack jokes about your guests, I would suggest not sitting them beside your kitchen with the window where we can see and hear you. But to you server I still tipped you the 18 percent you did not deserve. October 10th 8pm arrival.

I recently hosted my wedding rehearsal dinner at ROMEOs and it was wonderful. They had a private room set up for us for about 30 people and 2 servers. The servers were kind and attentive. Dont even bother going here until the renovations are finished. Its insane theyre even still open im not sure how they feel comfortable even keeping it open. I feel terrible for the staff because you can tell theyre embarrassed. Its certainly not the staffs fault and its tough to just not get paychecks while renos are underway. But its truly not worth the trip. To management please feel free to reply to this review when reno's are finished and ill take it down and come review the newly renovated romeo's properly :)

The restaurant features a charming Greek alleyway ambiance with rustic decor, providing an intimate dining experience across multiple settings including a romantic bistro-style second floor and a bustling outdoor patio. It was full when we came amd didn't have any reservation? But we were able to get a table downstairs. Food has huge servings and everything's tasty! Service is great too!

Dorian Greek House was so busy when we entered but we didn’t have to wait long for a table. There were a lot of great options on the menu - we settled for the Chicken Parm and the server recommended the mushroom chicken pasta. I was actually blown away with the huge portions and wow this pasta tasted incredible. Creamy, hot and dilly, I was in heaven! I loved their really well seasoned garlic bread too. My husband said his chicken parm with meat sauce pasta was his new favourite. The server was incredibly busy so we understood that she couldn’t be as attentive but the hostess kept checking up on us. I will have to return to try other items and order the pastas again! Highly recommended!

We ordered the chicken souvlaki and roasted lamb, both of which were really fresh and served quickly. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant, even though the restaurant was steady.
Darya D — Google review
I'll start off by saying the food here is delightful. Yes, the prices are more expensive than a pub or fast food place, but you truly get what you pay for. Not only was the quality and taste fantastic, but the portions are outstanding. The average person will likely be asking for a to go box, so be sure to bring an appetite! The service staff were awesome. Kind, informative, and funny, while also being sure to check in if you need anything frequently. The only thing I can't give 5 stars is the atmosphere. Yes the place does have a cozy feel, but the little things like the burnt out neon light hinder it a little. This is a small nit-pick, but if you're looking for a "fancy, classy expensive atmosphere" this doesn't have that. More of a casual comfortable one.

Have been twice to this restaurant, once with 8 people and once with 2. Both times the service was appalling. The first time we didn’t get asked if we wanted drinks for 20 minutes and they didn’t arrive for another 10. Our food order didn’t make it to the kitchen and we had to ask about it. We sat for an hour before the food arrived. Note: it was not remotely busy that night. The second time we didn’t get asked about drinks or food order for 20 minutes. Again, not a busy night, and we were going to a concert. After 40 minutes we had to ask about our order and it came almost instantly which told us it had been ready a while. We had to rush to eat our food, (which was very good) and ask for our bill to be made up so we could make it to the concert in time. We won’t be returning to Dorians.

First time at Dorian's and had a great meal with my friends. The menu had many options available which is great for those with different dietary preferences. I got the calamari appetizer and chicken tenders and fries for my main (with a side of fries due to some menu confusion). The calamari was FANTASTIC and I loved every bite. It had great flavor, large pieces of calimari, and for the portion was appropriately priced. The chicken tenders DO come with fries but on the menu it did not indicate this (hence the side of fries). Loved my chicken tender meal. The fries were hot and crispy and the tenders were juicy. Overall 10/10 meal and would return here again for a meal.

Absolutely amazing experience - the whole experience from Shivam taking our order and explaining the dishes with so much knowledge and passion. I knew right away that the food will be good as well. Everything was perfect, from presentation of regular dishes, sizzler flavours in the food, temperature, portion size, spice levels and it tasted absolutely amazing. Overall amazing experience, and I’m forced to say that this restaurant is probably one of the best I have seen in Canada. Kudos to the owners for maintaining this restaurant over the years. My last experience at this place a few years ago was really good, I missed writing a review but I visited again and I have to say if you are in Kamloops and you like Indian food, this place is open late and is definitely a place you should not miss. We had a group of 5 family members here and overall the food was very nice. One of the things that was a slight annoyance was a very, VERY obnoxiously loud group of women sitting near us that made having conversations a struggle. However, this is not the fault of the restaurant and just a failure to know how to act in public. Photo attached is butter chicken with the garlic naan.

Moxies Kamloops Restaurant offers a diverse menu with options like Tuna Sushi Stack and Calamari appetizers, perfect for those seeking a lighter meal. The sushi stack boasts delightful textures and umami flavors, while the calamari is more of a standard choice. While prices may be on the higher side, it's understandable given its location in a hotel. The atmosphere can get lively with multiple screens broadcasting sports, making it convenient for hotel guests looking for a quick bite.
We went to Moxies twice while staying in the Sandman hotel in Kamloops. The first night we had dinner out of convenience and the following day we popped in for happy hour. They were very busy for dinner but did not make us feel rushed in any way as we took our time with cocktails, apps, dinner and wine and birthday celebration. The service was fantastic on both occasions.

Went there for dinner, but food and service were both underwhelming. The service was horrible, and food was below standard. They served oxidized and brown avocado with our tacos, and the taco themselves were dripping with liquid-it happens when food has been pre-made and stored for longer periods of time. Our experience was so bad that we just wanted to get out of this place. We were seated in the open patio, with loads of dust on our tables - none of the waiter bothered to clean, so I would assume that is their standard practice. The patio itself is overlooking a parking lot and railway crossing, a very bad vibe. I would not recommend this place for serving low quality food to customers 😕

The Baby Back Ribs at Moxie’s were tender and flavorful, with a nice BBQ sauce. Portions were generous, and the fries were great. The sauce could use a bit more tang, but overall, it was a solid meal. Service was good, though there was a short wait. Would definitely come back!

We were invited by Rav to enjoy some of the dishes that are regular items but made better by Moxies own spin 😊 The nachos were super loaded and my son says some of the best he's had and refused to share them 😅 My daughter tried the Chicken Madeira Rigatoni which was totally awesome flavor! The sauce could've been a bit more creamy thick but otherwise a great dish 😋 Then there's the beef dip, an awesome combo of pulled smoked prime beef and classic au-jus, not the french onion crap that others are serving. It was wonderfully tasty, messy and juicy. Honorable mention goes to the parm fries and garlic aioli which were consumed before a picture could be taken 🥲🤣 Portions were not overwhelming and just right. We were greeted by a pleasant hostess that helped out with our parking registration and seating at our reserved table. The waitress was very attentive, witty and marvelous to work with 🥰 she let Rav know we were there and we got a visit at the table with a smile that showed the surprise that I took up the offer to visit and review 😁 Speaking with others about Moxies, the responses were very positive! Making a reservation was easy and well worth the visit for some great food choices 😎

Moxies Kamloops is located adjacent to the Sandman Signature Hotel. I ordered take out chicken wrap and dry ribs. It's hard to rate a restaurant on a single takeout order, so I would take this with a grain of salt. The chicken was WAY too salty and the dry ribs were overcooked and leathery. I wouldn't return for take out but maybe their dine-in options are better.

Waitstaff helpful. Poke bowls very good. Hamburger reported to be very good as well. Sports on several TVs. Noisy inside but we could hear each other.

Stopped in at Moxies Kamloops for dinner — the vibe was lively but relaxed, and the service was quick and attentive. I ordered the chicken stir-fry bowl and was impressed: fresh ingredients, good portion size, and great flavor. The modern interior and ambient lighting made it feel like a step above your average road trip stop. Highly recommend for a casual but quality dinner near the highway. Bonus points for the comfortable seating and stylish decor!

We have been going to Moxie's for years. The quality of food is consistent and the prices are in line with similar restaurants in town. The steaks are good and there is interest and variety in the menu. Margarita prices seem high and it would be nice if there were some on the happy hour menu. Love Moxies.

Cora Breakfast and Lunch, which originated in Montreal, made its way to Kamloops in 2011. The restaurant is known for its large portions and all-day breakfast menu featuring dishes named after family or meaningful moments. Indulge in the Banana Caramel Belgian Waffle or try the Louis Undecided, a delightful combination of strawberry-chocolate filled crepe, eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast.
Got my Brunch Burger, it was really good (don't let the picture fool you) loved the service, ambience, and above all the food. The quantity was perfect for the price. A really good place for a good chat! Shoutout to Heaven, our server, she was really sweet ❣️

Exactly what i would expect from a Cora's restaurant. I can only speak for this dish as I always order this one sweet and savory dish and its always great. Food is fresh and the quality is consistent. I had their hot chocolate one morning. It was okay, a little lacking in flavor so probably not something I would get there regularly. Environment was open and bright. Customer service was excellent. The moment I walked in the door a kitchen staff member welcomed me while I waited to be seated by the hostess. Moderate amount of parking outside.

Great place. We were in town for a flag football tournament and needed to feed our son quickly. We got there, told our server we needed food quickly to get to the park. She turned the order over in 7 min, my son ate, we ate, and were out 16 min after we got there. Not only fast but professional, polite and outstanding service and food. Great experience

Fast service, friendly staff, and yummy food. I love that everything is just enough, not too salty, sweet or oily like other brunch spots in town. Everyone welcomed us with kindness. Will definitely come back.

I went today for the first time. Ordered an Orange Juice which was a medium size and to my surprise was $4.75 with no refills. For food I ordered the breakfast poutine. The potatoes were not cooked enough or were cooked in a gigantic batch which took all the crisp off the outside. The meat in it was basically cut up wieners. The cheese curds and hollandaise sauce were good. It was busy but to be expected on a Sunday. I probably wouldn't go back or recommend it. The server was very nice at least.

Ordered take out from Cora and item missing. Because Ordered through skip Cora states not responsible for quality of food because it was cold that is on the skip driver not the restaurant 😑 never received the drink I ordered again Cora isn't responsible for fulfilling the order and they cannot refund me for the 5$ drink I ordered but didn't get. I have to go to skip file a complaint and maybe get my money back through credits most likely I will not use after the debauchery of an epic system failure. Interesting that a reputable company like Cora doesn't really care about their service standards but rather blame a company they chose to sign on with as a delivery service rather than hire their own people? Now im awaiting a call from a manager from Cora to see what they can do about my missing drink. I had to reheat my food and now have already ate it maybe Cora will offer me a free drink if I ever eat in at their establishment again. The whole system is a failure. I haven't used skip for years exactly because of this. Not to mention seeing the drivers around town with their disgusting thermal bags that they cart the food around in. 😳 I had a craving this morning for French toast I would have been better off driving to Wendy's for their french toast sticks and most likely guaranteed I would have received my drink 😆 Lesson learned...yet again. Not to support skip or the businesses that only offer their services.

Great options on the menu. Something for everyone. Best breakfast I've had in a long time! I had 1/2 waffle with delicious fruit, eggs, and potatoes. I think the name of the dish was 'Paul likes this best' our waitress was wonderful. I never had to ask her to refill my coffee.
Shelley P — Google review
Tried for the first time. We had breakfast on a Sunday. Service was really great. The server was friendly, efficient and attentive. Food was a major disappointment. Potatoes weren't even cooked, they were white. It looked like someone threw them in a fry pan for about 10 seconds to brown one side and then put on a plate. Ham on the Egg's Benedict tasted like bologna, and the hollandaise sauce was abnormally thick and flavorless. The crepe in Paul wants it all could not have been colder. We will not be going back.

The Match Eatery & Public House offers excellent cuisine at affordable prices, with exceptional service from the friendly and cheerful server Billie G. The New York strip steak was cooked to perfection, and the ahi tuna in the Cajun seafood spaghettini delighted the wife. This restaurant fulfills all expectations and even provides a casino nearby for post-dinner entertainment. During vacation, visitors can enjoy a great selection of meals from their impressive seasonal BBQ menu.
BBQ was amazing!!! Great food, fast, friendly and attentive service. Cass is a wonderful server with a sense of humor and wonderful menu knowledge. The manager Kyle is an inviting and friendly manager who's staff seem to really like and respect. They took wonderful care of me on my trip from Vancouver! Definitely try the ribs and chicken!

Went in for some lunch. Got the calamari and hot wings and a drink each. Bill came to a couple cents shy of 70$ before tip. First of all the portions were rather small. The calamari tasted like salted batter and wasn’t very good at all. The hot wings were nothing special. I’m assuming Frank’s hot sauce, small medium sized wings. There were nine total. 2/10 for the food. Server was nice enough. Drinks were alright. Don’t see myself ever going back for food. Spend the same at earls and get a significantly better meal. Even if the bill was 50$ I would have felt like I overspent.

We had a group of four. We were seated by a friendly hostess Isabella. Our server Julian was soon there to take our drink orders. Drinks arrived quickly and our appy orders were put in. The appys were good. Julian took our meal orders and was quick to answer questions and make recommendations when asked. Dinner arrived and was really good. An issue with a steak was dealt with no question. If it were not for the steak they would have received a 5. Julian is an amazing server and if he is working I would recommend you ask for his section.

I’m not one to complain but this was an absolute insane experience. First - my Cesar was disgusted and the worst Cesar I have ever had. Second - it took over 45 minutes to get my second drink. Third - my food came out 1 hr later and my steak was over cooked and terribly thin and to top it off my husbands food came out 20 minutes later because there was a mix up in the kitchen. I had completely fished eating by the time he got his food. Fourth - bills came out and they put a rack a of ribs on our bill that wasn’t ours, when trying to correct they told us they had put it on our friends bill (who already paid and it was her birthday). We just paid it since we didn’t want her paying it. Then since we were a group of 10 they automatically added 18% gratitude (on a $200 bill for 4 of us) which i get it is a regular policy for restaurant but they didn’t try to rectify any of the issues above. We asked speak to the manager, he just brushed us off and gave the only person left to pay a $15 discount. I understand mistakes happen but it’s how mistakes are handled that makes up for it. This was completely unprofessional.

The tuna pieces in their poke bowl are huge! The bowl tastes ok, however i think if they modified some of the ingredients and served it in a bowl, the overall quality would be better. The bar atmosphere is nice. Good service. The french onion soup is super cheesy 😋. Also, the tuna appetizer is delicious.

Nestled in the heart of Kamloops, Bold Pizzeria is a laid-back and family-friendly eatery that prides itself on serving up delectable thin-crust pizzas in a casual industrial setting. The restaurant's commitment to using premium ingredients and providing top-notch service creates a welcoming community atmosphere. What sets Bold Pizzeria apart is its innovative approach to pizza toppings, offering adventurous combinations that push the boundaries of traditional flavors.
Bold italian eatery won my heart this weekend! After what could be chalked up to as a "memorable adventure," my friend and I found ourselves panicking for a hotel and a bite to eat. Food is always a pick me up for us and a sure-fire way to turn our frowns upside down, so there was some real importance to picking the right place in this scenario, lol. After a solid 45 minutes of reading thru reviews, we settled on giving Bold a go - we were NOT disappointed. It was quite busy, which was expected based on how hard it was to find a hotel, but they got us seated at the bar right away, and we're offered bits and bites as a bar snack. We opted to order dinner at the bar as opposed to waiting for a table - so we got started with some well-deserved Ceasers. The bartender was ON IT. He was so friendly, funny and on the ball. The pickled carrot was, without a doubt, one of the best pickled anything I've had in my life. (I'm pregnant, so I know a good pickle when I try one. 🫡) The ceasers themselves were also delicious. Solid 10/10. (I had a virgin ceaser, and my gf tried both the vodka ceaser and the gin ceaser) she did mention that the vodka was undetectable, whereas the gin one, you could taste the gin. *not a complaint in any way* To eat! I opted to give the stuffed pepperoncini a try and a half ceaser salad - the half ceaser was $10 and bigger than any other full sized ceaser I've gotten. Definitely tasted like a homemade dressing and adored the idea of a crushed type crouton cause everyone knows that's the hardest part to eat anyway. The stuffed pepperoncini were also top tier and unlike any other "popper" I've tried. The balsamic reduction really pulled it all together! For $12, I received 5 of them and would definitely order these again! The prosciutto was crispy but somehow not dry 🧐, and the cream cheese definitely toned down the "spice." My gf gave the carbonara Tessa a try and was utterly impressed with both flavor and creamy-ness! She said that the poached egg really added to the silkyness of the sauce! They were generous with the amount of crispy pancetta within the pasta and the packed a lot of flavor - more garlick-y then herby! It was definitely very rich, so she was unable to finish the whole portion - but the leftovers made for a great midnight snack back at the hotel 🤤 and, for $25, was a solid choice. The overall ambience and decor of the resteraunt was lovely - the floral wall papers, the gold frames, the flowers hanging from suspended pallets in the ceiling, the most amazing crystal like chandelier hung by the bar - the open style pizza kitchen - it was a very enjoyable setting. The patio was closed due to the rain, but that also looked quite cozy. The staff was also great - especially our bartender/server. He didn't stop moving the whole time we were in there. If he wasn't mixing cocktails, he was cleaning and restocking - always had something on the go. The only mix up was with our hostess, who did not mention to the bartender that we had opted to dine at the bar, so he assumed we were just enjoying a drink while waiting for a table. After about 20 minutes, we asked how we ordered food, and he apologized for the mix-up. All in all, before tip, our bill was right around 80-85$ including tax. For 2 alcoholic beverages, a mocktail, two appies, and a main! Thanks for turning our weekend around Bold Italian Eatery! We will be back 🥰

Went for the chicken parm after seeing a review online. Big fan of chicken parm and I wasn't disappointed. The rest of the family liked their dishes as well. Caesar salad was a hit for a starter! Haven't been to Bold for a few years. But I was chatting with lots of people that were saying the newer menu was great. They were not wrong.

What an awesome place. From the decor to the vibe, the staff, and the amazing owners, it's just an all-around fantastic restaurant and dining experience. I come here all the time and recently realized I hadn't written a review. I figure it's because every single time I come here, I sit anxiously waiting for the food to hit the table, then I inhale it and leave completely satisfied. Writing a review just never crosses my mind. That said, I can't recommend this place enough to anyone who wants incredible food and a truly memorable experience.

Bold always out doing themselves with flavour and amazing service! I took myself for a mom and baby lunch (baby is 6 weeks) chose my favourite restaurant to go to. I can not describe the flavour in this steak sandwich! Absolutely melt in your mouth, mouth watering meal! The best part was Deej sharing how he developed this amazing lunch entree! For Lunch I had the Calabrian steak sandwich a steak sandwich that melts in ur mouth with a kick of spicy! Not your average steak sandwich, truly top knotch, as Karly shared call me high maintained cause steak is my favourite! For dessert I had the orange cranberry spice cheesecake ABSOLUTELY amazing the flavour and texture is perfect! Enjoyed at home with a cup of tea cause that steak sandwich was so filling!! (deej this has to come back multiple times!!) Thank you Karly & Deej

Service was pleasant & efficient. The mood & decor are nice; I wouldn't say their description of it being "industrial" is accurate & def don't go if that's the vibe you need. I do like that you can watch the cooks make the pies! I don't understand all the 5* reviews, is Kamloops that short of good Italian ? 🤷🏻‍♂️The food was OK. The preparation & presentation were good but both dishes were woefully under seasoned & portion size was average, & therefore it's overpriced my some margin.

Bold Flavors, Even Bolder Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ✨ Hidden Gem Alert! ✨ The Bold Italian Eatery is fantastic, but what truly made my experience shine was my waitress, Madison. She has such a warm, genuine personality—like reconnecting with an old friend you’ve known forever. Pleasant, professional, and real. She even brought me a wine sample when I was deciding, and her timing was flawless: attentive without hovering, always checking in at just the right moment. The food was equally impressive. I had the gluten-free Caesar salad, styled beautifully and bursting with flavor. Absolute eye candy on the plate, but even better once you take that first bite. My mouth waters just thinking about it—I’ll absolutely have it again. Though the restaurant is tucked into a small plaza, inside it’s cozy, clean, and welcoming. Pair the delicious food with service like Madison’s, and you’ve got yourself a must-visit spot. If you’ve read this far, do yourself a favor—go. Eat. Enjoy. You’ll walk out smiling.

Over the years we have come and enjoyed the high quality sushi and friendly service. In our last visit we enjoyed mixed tempura, California roll and the speciality big boy roll. My daughter, her husband and grandson also enjoyed their varied menu selections. For all us the taste and flavour of our meals was very satisfying. This restaurant is always busy and reservations are recommended. Probably best Japanese Sushi Restaurant in Kamloops.

First, I’m not a huge sushi-lover, my husband is. However, I love tempura and this location has some of the best tempura I have ever had. At first I thought they had cinnamon in the batter, but it’s actually in their tempura sauce. I loved it, I’ve never had tempura like that before (obviously let them know if you have a cinnamon allergy). From my husband, he said this was some of the best quality sushi he has had since leaving Vancouver island. He even took the time to chat up the owner and thank him for the great food and service. This restaurant is definitely on our list of places to go to anytime we are in the area. Highly recommend. 👍

Everytime we stop in Kamloops we make sure to stop by Arigato sushi. The sushi melts in your mouth, and the fish is very fresh. We ordered Atlantic salmon, ika nigiri and some rolls. Unfortunately since it is busy, our order got messed up a bit and we ended up receiving ika Maki, and sockeye salmon. We brought it up to our server and they did everything they could to accommodate us, despite us eating some of the sashimi. As someone who eats a lot of sushi and trys new sushi spots every chance I get, arigato is one of, if not the best I've had since going to Japan.

I have always enjoyed the homemade taste from this German restaurant. They make homemade/fresh everything/everyday!! This place came up as a recommended local favorite to not miss... To my utmost disappointment: a diner, quite run down, outdated, dirty to say the least. When I looked on the chair I was about to sit I already lost my appetite. Should of left right there. The food...-my stomach did not take it well, yet I paid $12 for this! Then had to wait in line to pay for my meal. Sadly, it represents Kamloops well...

House smoker, classic German brunch food, freshly made excellence. I recommend the beef dip and the German split pea and ham soup, but those bennys really draw in a crowd too. I drink the au jus when the sandwich is done, just to keep the party in my mouth going. Thanks Passek's for making my day!

Lemongrass Vietnamese Restaurant in Kamloops is a popular choice among locals for its casual ambiance and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant offers a variety of traditional dishes like Pho and vermicelli, as well as Asian fusion options made from fresh, sustainable ingredients. Their new North Shore location at the Yew Street Food Hall is also gaining attention for its delicious Banh Mi sandwich.
Reliable for quality. I had the laska. Was it the greatest ever? No, but it was a good approximation, which is more then enough for Kamloops :) and people seemed to agree. I was there before 5 and there was a steady stream of people coming in and for take away. Service was prompt, tables were clean, there is a good amount of space. The single frustrating thing is only a right turn out of the parking lot, which is so petty but can't help but be frustrated because the surrounding commercial should have been better organized to allow access out for someone to turn left. Regardless a good meal

Absolutely loved this spot! The spring rolls were next level – they came pre-cut and tasted incredible, not your average spring roll. The gyoza were easily the best I’ve had in Kamloops, even compared to sushi restaurants. The pho was flavorful and delicious, though I personally found the noodle-to-broth ratio a bit heavy on the noodles. Still, everything hit the spot. Definitely recommend!
Saijal P — Google review
We found this restaurant near the Esso station just before continuing our final stretch to Vancouver. It seems to be a local favorite, as a long line started forming shortly after we were seated. The food took quite a while to arrive, likely due to how busy they were. While we understand delays can happen during peak hours, we were a bit surprised, especially since pho is typically a quicker dish to prepare. To be honest, considering the price, portion sizes, and overall flavor, we feel there are better options available back home in Calgary. The food was okay—nothing particularly memorable, but not bad either.
Hanna S — Google review
Simple/basic Vietnamese restaurant but a good place in the Kamloops area. The food options are pretty decent but I haven't tried many. I usually get the spicy hue soup. I like the flavor but sometimes the amount of protein within the dish is a hit or miss. Not consistent between visits. Overall, pretty good restaurant if you're looking for some Viet food.

Decent pho. Inside is a bit dark to my liking. Food is quite good.

Ordered take-out on a Friday night. Got some Vermicelli dishes. The flavor was great, but the portion size was low for the cost of the dish. Very good spring rolls and pork, but in my opinion, iceberg lettuce shreds are probably the cheapest item, so go crazy with them rather than skimping big time. I would return in person to see the difference of in-store versus take-out.

It’s been sometime since our last visit, unfortunately after this time we won’t return again. Not only it’s not clean but also a safety hazard, can’t imagine what would happen if a kid swallowed this. Looks like a piece from a stainless scrubber. I recently visited Lemongrass Vietnamese Restaurant and found it to be a lively and popular spot. The atmosphere is bustling and full of energy, which makes for a fun dining experience. The food is generally good, offering a classic taste of Vietnamese cuisine that is satisfying. I’ve been to this place several times and usually enjoyed the food, but three weeks ago I ordered around $110 worth of food and ended up throwing it all away because nothing tasted good. Everything was either bland or undercooked, with burnt Dal Makhani and chicken floating in watery curry. I called the owner, who promised to get back to me after discussing it with his daughter, but I never heard from him. After waiting over a week, I called again, and a server said she would notify the owner, yet still no response. The service at Kohinoor has never been this poor, and their handling of complaints is unacceptable. I'm sharing this experience along with a picture for reference. I wasted $110 on that dinner and had to order from elsewhere at 9:30 PM. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

We had a lovely meal at Koh-I-Noor restaurant in Kamloops last night. My friend had the buffet and said it was delicious with a great range of dishes. As for me, I’m a Celiac and dairy allergic and truly our waitress could not have been more helpful. She went to great lengths recommending items from the menu and making special arrangements with the kitchen, plus the food was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We stopped by for a quick dinner with the friends. The staffs were super welcoming and the ambience was great. We snacked on some pakodas while waiting for our food. Everything that we had was so fresh and delicious. There was a buffet set up as well which looked soooo good, the chef was so kind and polite. We’re definitely coming back!!😍

Good people and delicious comfort food. We stumbled upon the place while driving to Vancouver from Clearwater and I am so glad we did. The owner (and chef) of the restaurant and his family are a delight. Thanks so much for great hospitality and delicious comfort food. We tried: Momos, Chana Masala, Garlic Naan and Pakoras! 😋😋

Butter chicken was soooo good! Yummy yummy 😋 As you can see we ordered too much rice, since we didn’t know all the dishes come with rice already Lol

I have yet to go to a restaurant that was as hospitable as this one. They accommodated our late arrival and served us one of the best tasting meals we have had. We have been to many Indian restaurants in the Kamloops area and this is our new #1 favourite. We highly recommend going to this location, not only for the scenic views while dining, but for the amazing hospitality and authentic cuisine. They also have a good variety of dishes that don't disappoint. You will find something that you like; and please try the Nepalese dishes, they are worth it!

Chicken karahi. Asked for hot and they delivered. Not overwhelmingly hot, just right. Tandoori naan and rice were delicious. Service was great, never had a empty cup. I'm eating the left overs at home now and it's still delicious.

Nestled in the North Shore of Kamloops, Red Beard Cafe offers a relaxed setting with a versatile menu featuring bistro-style fare and an extensive selection of over 15 beers and ciders. The cafe is known for its inventive twist on classic dishes, such as the Croque Monsieur with Little Qualicum gruyere and harissa butter, and the Garam Masala French Toast. Guests can also enjoy budget-friendly prices, generous portions, and locally sourced ingredients.
Red Beard Café truly impressed me! The cozy atmosphere, great coffee, and top-notch service made it such a memorable visit. We didn’t catch our server’s name, but she was absolutely lovely—so warm and attentive from start to finish. And the food? Absolutely amazing. Every bite was full of flavor, fresh, and clearly made with care. A hidden gem that I’m so glad we found—can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I had a great experience at Red Beard Café! We love trying local cafés and restaurants, and this place truly exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely amazing, the service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was so nice and cozy. We especially loved the nature vibe and the beautiful mountain view—it really added to the relaxing atmosphere. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy delicious food. Highly recommended! We would definitely come back!

Red Beard cafe was a fun Sunday morning find. Sadly I couldn't enjoy the recommended food offerings but enjoyed an Americano, sangria flight and smoothie. I found The Cowboy statue that is a leftover from Cowboy Cafe and enjoyed my limited stop while leaving Kamloops.

A great outdoor space for nice days. The food is visually impressive but not quite 5 stars as far as food combinations and ratio. The coffee was fabulous and our food came out quickly. Overall a good experience.
Taibryn T — Google review
The food was excellent & well presented. The service was good, but nothing beyond average. However my friends and I will NOT be going back. It’s not acceptable to add an automatic gratuity of 20% to the bill. The waitress was fine, but all she did was bring our food (which was pre-ordered) and take initial drink orders, certainly not the level of service warranting 20%.

Perfect spot for a brunch! Only thing that would make it better is if they sold their blueberry ketchup!! Definitely worth the stop!

This place is a Kamloops gem. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food menu is creative and changes frequently so there is always something new to try. Great selection of both local alcoholic, and non alcoholic drinks. Obsessed with their iced mocha. Best part is their beautiful dog friendly patio!

Visited this cafe for lunch based on Google reviews. It was certainly rustic and eclectic with a good vibe. It was busy being 12.30pm. The service was friendly, if a bit casual and slow. No complaints though. Hubby had the pastrami sandwich with salad. The sandwich was generously filled and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the beet salad with chicken. It was delicious apart from the saltiness of the dressing. Together with the feta, it was very salty. Hubby's salad had no feta, and was also quite salty. Hubby had a local cherry cider which was fruity and robust. I had a Kamloops beer which was excellent. All up price was just over $60. We would definitely eat here again.

Scoopz Ice Cream Parlour is a popular neighborhood spot open from April to September, offering a wide variety of ice cream and sorbets, including new flavors. Located near Riverside Park in downtown Kamloops, it's known for serving generous portions of Foothills Creamery Ice Cream that will have your kids asking for more. Despite its small size, the parlour attracts long lines even on rainy days, a testament to its delicious offerings.
As a person who has social anxiety and often gets overwhelmed ordering face to face with people the staff were very welcoming and kind. Despite how overwhelmed and flustered I was they were very patient and made sure to give me my delicious ice cream in a very fast manner. Now I am down at Riverside a lot during the summer between events and hangout with friends. This ice cream place is always such a refreshing stop and I defiantly recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet treat. I have been going there for years and will continue both recommending and going to this shop for as long as it stays open. Definitely a need to go stop for anyone touring Kamloops.

I was recommended to visit Scoopz Ice Cream Parlour, and it exceeded my expectations! They offer a wide range of flavors, including dairy-free options, so everyone in the group found something they enjoyed. The ice cream portions are generous, and every flavor we tried was fantastic. I personally tried the Shark Attack and Red Velvet flavors, and they were incredible! The shop is ideally situated just across from the park, making it a perfect stop for refreshments. There’s seating available for 8 to 10 people, so we could sit and enjoy our treats comfortably. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Our total bill was close to 10 CAD, which was quite reasonable for the quality and quantity we received. It was a friends' meet-up, and calling my friends' kids to join made it even more special.

I went to visit scoops yesterday with my two more friends. We love the ice cream but I don't know what was wrong.the staff never greeted us or neither gave us smile or anything. And it was not even busy when I went there. It was just me and my friends. Staff never gave us any welcoming gesture or they never made us feel good. We felt really awkward and uncomfortable. I had my friend who was from Toronto and she was taking bit long to decide which flavour she needs as it was first time her visiting this place. I even apologize as she was taking bit time. And the expressions they gave were not nice at all. I felt disappointed by taking my friend there.

The food was excellent, the employees kind, courteous, and sweet, the food came out fast, and the seating and even the washroom had a pleasant atmosphere. 15 dollars for the chili, I mean at least fill it up to 3/4 full of this little bowl which is not bigger than my hand, they only filled the bottom with chili, I checked with the server, she said this is the only portion they do🙂 I've never been a big eater or picky, but I’m shocked by how they responded and their attitude.

The food here was absolutely unreal, the best pancakes and French toast I’ve ever had. The whipped cream was an awesome touch, tasted fresh and a good portion size. Very reasonable prices. We were on a road trip through the mountains and kept talking about how this place was the best restaurant we went to by far. Would love to come back!

Such a cute bistro! The food was phenomenal, the staff were so kind, and the atmosphere was very cozy. They had gluten free bread and tons of options for milk alternatives. We got breakfast here and really enjoyed it - the pancakes were particularly fantastic (served with mascarpone & fresh fruit), and the bacon and caramelized onion eggs benedict was so tasty. The food was so good that we ordered a few more drinks to take with us on the road! Definitely try their London fog & house-made iced tea. ☕

Klasske's Bistro is a bustling, family-owned eatery that specializes in Greek street food, offering a variety of options such as falafel, shawarma, and Halifax-style donair wraps. The bistro provides a cozy cafe atmosphere with outdoor seating and is known for its top-notch service and fresh, flavorful dishes.
Ordered the Halifax donair and the meat was very good, the sweet sauce was right and the pita fresh-crispy. Would not hesitate to order here again. Staff were friendly and premises were clean. One little niggle was that a staff member who handed me my platter was sweeping floors and didn’t wash his hand before handing me my tray, but he wasn’t directly handling/touching the food thankfully.
Johnny B — Google review
Never thought I’d write a poor review for this location but alas. We ordered two regular Halifax Donairs for pick up my girlfriend called ahead to let them know that traffic was bad going into town from where we live as cvse had a truck blocking a lane going through Valleyview and told them to hold off on making the donairs, unfortunately they said they had already made them so my girlfriend asked if they could keep them warm, they said absolutely they could. once she showed up to pick them up they were both ice cold and when we got home and opened them up this is how it looked, cold food and a lack of customer service aside I opened my donair and it unfolded immediately upon opening as the wrapper had partially been wrapped inside of the donair along with half the toppings having fallen out the bottom into the foil wrapper, the wrap itself was dripping and soggy from all of the sauce and had definitely not been wrapped properly prior to being wrapped in foil. Disappointing experience to say the least.
Kallan B — Google review
We had an amazing lunch at Klasske’s Bistro in Kamloops! We ordered the chicken and mixed meat donair, both were absolutely outstanding. The taste was 5/5, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The ambiance is welcoming, the place is super neat and clean, and it’s clear they take pride in both their food and service. A special shoutout to the girl who took our order, she was incredibly kind, humble, and respectful. It’s also great to have such a solid halal food option in town, everything is halal and clearly marked, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, great service, and a clean, comfortable place to eat. Shout out to the whole team, you’re doing an awesome job!
Salim K — Google review
Delicious Greek style donair a little messy towards the end of the donair but still very good! Comfortable seating, made fresh with the chicken being cut off the cooker for each donair and fresh veggies. Very clean facility. Friendly service!

We’ve been looking for a new favourite shawarma place since moving to BC. Klasske’s was one of our first that we tried and we have been returning customers ever since! We love the build your own chicken shawarmas. The Baklava they serve too is authentic and delicious. Something about their pitas make the wrap absolutely delicious. 🤤 Best place to grab a shawarma in town!

I absolutely love Klasske’s donairs! Every bite tastes like it’s made with love. The donairs are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly wrapped, and the portions are super generous. You can feel the care and pride that goes into everything they make. The whole place has such a warm, welcoming vibe — it’s the kind of spot that instantly makes you feel at home. The food was so good I actually forgot to take a picture — and honestly, that says it all! So happy to have a place like this in town. 💕
Jaimiegiguere — Google review
Was recommended this place by a friend and had to stop in on the way through Kamloops. Wow! I've never eaten a donair before, so it was a treat! Ordered the Halifax with extra onions and tomatoes and an order of onion rings. Fabulous taste. Excellent service and just an all around great experience. Recommend
Toni — Google review
It was our first time here. We’re in Kamloops for my son’s baseball this weekend and were craving donairs. The girl at the counter was very helpful and friendly. She asked if we had any questions and showed us the build your own, the set menu items as well as informed us of the special. We ended up getting the 2 Halifax specials. My husband asked for no tomatoes, and she wrote everything on the order paper. We brought it back to our hotel and noticed that both had tomatoes. It’s not a big deal to pick them out, but it was a hassle because the donair is wrapped so nicely, and saucey, so it made a mess when he had to open it up to pull them all out. The wrap itself, was delicious!!!! Probably one of the best I’ve ever had!!!! It was loaded with meat and veggies, I’m not sure if it was the pita, it was thin and crispy. So good!!!! The meat was seasoned nicely and the sauce was sweet and spicy. Might need to grab another for the road before we head home.

While appreciating the ambiance and thought-out lighting, a drink is served. This particular beverage has been ordered numerous times from different establishments, often leading to disappointment. The seemingly grumpy server takes note of the order and leaves abruptly. Dinner arrives beautifully presented, but with an incorrect side dish and an undesired ingredient. However, none of these mishaps seem to matter as I am content with my delicious meal and perfectly crafted drink. The experience at BARSIDE Lounge & Grill was fantastic!
The pasta I ordered was very delicious! Every time I dine in at Barside, I am satisfied to the fullest. The food, the service and the ambiance is just great! Highly recommend!

Barside is undoubtedly the best restaurant on the North Shore. My personal favorite is the Chicken Souvlaki. They offer it with two skewers and it’s a complete meal along with yummy lemon potatoes. Their Liver and Onions on Friday nights is also one of their best dish and probably the only restaurant offering this delicacy in town. Barside is a must try anyday!

Have been coming here for years, and always loved it! My past few visits the staff have really been outstanding, it makes me love it even more. The host that’s been there the last few times (younger man) is extremely friendly and welcoming, he always puts a smile on my face. My most recent visit, our server was so incredibly polite and outgoing, without being over bearing. I will continue to come here because of the awesome food and friendly staff!

Take your Chances at Barside Lounge and Grill Went to Barside Lounge and Grill finally. It was pretty good, but not what I was expecting for a Red Seal Chef. I think he/she was off shift maybe. The flatbread looked awesome. Lots of yummy toppings and good height but cold in the middle. Wings were on special. We asked about the Extreme heat wings and decided to try them. They were so hot we couldn't eat them. 🤷 I had the fish n chips and they were good. Excess of panko batter and a touch overdone, but light and flaky fish inside. The casino environment is not my thing so I felt like I was in jail trying to find the restaurant. Not good signage. 🤷 Service was decent. Since I've heard people rave about this place, I will go back to see if my experience was an anomaly.
Shawna L — Google review
It was busy when we arrived 6:45 on a Wednesday night, but there were 3 empty tables (2 by the window and 1 in the middle of the restaurant). After waiting to be seated, for more than 5 minutes, the server came to seat us. She became quite rude, when we requested a table by the window, as she told us that those hadn't been wiped yet. We told her that was okay, we would wait until one was wiped down. She then responded in a rude tone "Well you will have to wait then, we are slammed!" We had already stated that we didn't mind waiting for it to be cleaned, as we could see it was busy. Then she disappeared somewhere. There was no need for her to be rude. As we waited another 5 minutes, still there was no sign of any staff cleaning the table, another couple was leaving the restaurant (before eating), because they said they had been waiting for their food to come for over an hour, and could not wait any longer. We decided, at that point to leave and went somewhere else, where the food was awesomecand the server was also. It was a disappointing first experience at the Barside Lounge!
Holly F — Google review
This food establishment is in the casino. Went to order and no one was at the counter. Had to find a server on the floor to help us and he took us to the restaurant. Told somebody would be right with us; felt like we were an inconvenience to them. When we did get to order, we had no menus, no descriptions and no prices to go by. We got a roast beef sandwich and a side of fries as a hot dog was $6.00. Roast beef sandwich is made with multigrain bread, lettuce and tomato; would never had ordered this. Definitely was not worth the money we spent on it.

Getting served raw chicken is inexcusable. My best-friend and I ate here last night for dinner. I cut my chicken burger in half and ate half of it, and took the other half home for later. Once I got home I realized the chicken burger was raw. I am currently 8 months pregnant which caused me some concern. At 3am last night I ended up getting super sick and have gotten sick multiple times through the day. I called the restaurant 3 times in hopes to speak to a manager to let them know. I was not mad, I just felt I needed to let them know what had happened so this does not happen again. I have left 2 messages and the manager nor anyone has returned my calls. I had zero intentions to post a review as I had hoped that someone would return my call and keep this in house, however I’m Very disappointed. Thanks for the food poisoning while pregnant and the great concern for follow-up. 👌🏽

WOW. Honestly, I can't even think of anything other than wow. Karleen is SO talented and the food is incredible. We ordered food for our office lunch and it's been a while since everyone has said "Oh my God this is amazing" we are already discussing what other milestones we can celebrate just so we can order food again. The wings are great sizes and packed full of flavor. The burgers are juicy. The Greek ribs are drool-worthy. The pierogies and sausage... we didn't want to share they were so good. The salads had the best-tasting dressings. We can't wait to stop in or order in again. Oh and the price? UNBEATABLE!

Fantastic food! Homemade deep fried SWEET PICKLES. Amazing lemon pepper wings exploding with flavor. Fresh ingredients, homemade beer battered calamari. Delish! Ate and drank all afternoon for 150 bucks! It would've been nice to get a smile upon arrival or get drinks without waving down the server constantly. Super hot day... Mist GOING out on the deck, which was like eating in a rain shower, but very different than the normal dining experience. I thought it was super fun. Gorgeous river view. Drive up in your boat....tequila specials and live music makes this venue perfect for the 20s to 50s laid back party crowd. NOTE: CASH Only / GREAT LIVE BANDS

Nice patio space, good live-music. Good service. Most delicious Philly Cheesesteak that I have had in years!! Food was well-priced. Would have loved to try some ice cream they serve outside but we were too full! Some laxity in safety-protocols with patrons and staff (seemed like regulars maybe) but being outside still felt safe. Friendly but a bit rowdy crowd that Friday evening. Short wait.

7/10 This was a challenging review to write. My partner and I went on a Friday night. It was busy but we got a table after a few minutes on the outdoor 'gravel' patio overlooking the river. We were shown to our seats and sat for about 12 minutes before our server came back and realized we had no menus or access to online menus. When she asked what we were having to drink we said "just water for now" to which our server responded 'what, really!?". We quickly ordered and it took another 35 minutes or so to get our food. There was music playing which was nice, but the wind was a bit chilly. Pros: Food was plentiful and overall pretty good. The view of the river was nice. Our server was friendly and polite overall. Live music was good. Cons: Cash only with an ATM next to the register at $1.5 per transaction. Service was slow. Overall staff didn't take COVID restrictions very seriously. Reused Menus and door-man was mask-less the entire time we were there. The 'Meh': Food was overall okay. (chicken burger with mac and cheese and chicken and waffle). Definitely more of a local watering hole with lots of trades people's having after work drinks. Meals were overall priced accordingly at about $18-22 per plate.
Julien ( — Google review
Such an awesome view! Food and service were really good. Music was a bit too loud, couches on the patio were worn out, but THE VIEW makes you not notice anything else! and locally sourced ingredients are a nice bonus. We definitely will be back and not once! We got the Badass and the Illegal Alien burgers, portions were enourmous, Sangria was delicious as well, overall - made our evening.

Krob Krua Thai Restaurant, founded by the husband and wife team Kamphon and Vipawan Muktier, offers an authentic taste of Thailand in Kamloops. Their unique approach involves omitting fish sauce from their dishes to cater to Western palates while keeping them vegan and vegetarian-friendly. The restaurant has received praise for its friendly staff, great service, and delicious food including must-try dishes like Tom Yum Goongl.
Food and service both great. We ordered a Pad Thai with beef and a Gang Per Thai. Very delicious. Green curry was a little spicy but Pad Thai level 2 was very mild.

Absolute gem of a restaurant. The staff are so kind, friendly, and gracious, and the food is absolutely flawless. One of the best Gang Kiew Wan green curries I’ve had in Western Canada, with a proper spice that will appeal to everyone. Can’t recommend this wonderful spot enough.

I get veggie pad sew ew, extra saucy, no tofu or egg. They do so great with it and it's one of my favorites, I don't even leave leftovers as I can't stop eating it once I pop the lid.

Overrated, overhyped and overpriced!! Despite the hype, the overall experience was far from satisfactory. The Thai curry (doesn't come with the rice), which should be a highlight, turned out to be a waste of money. Having tasted Thai curry at numerous places, I was shocked when the manager dismissed our concerns, insisting that's how it's made. It was disappointing to encounter such a dismissive attitude towards customer feedback. Thai curry and the soup had same thickness. While the soup flavour was commendable, the disproportionate ratio of vegetables, particularly mushrooms, overshadowed the broth. What's more concerning is the apparent lack of interest from the staff in ensuring customer satisfaction. Our server appeared disinterested and somewhat biased, which further dampened the dining experience. Experienced stomach issues afterward. Eat at your own risk. Not recommended.

Lee's Garden Restaurant, a beloved establishment in Kamloops since its inception in 2004 by the Li family, has become a go-to spot for those craving authentic Chinese cuisine. With an inviting atmosphere and attentive service, diners rave about the delightful dishes that grace their menu. The sweet and sour pork is celebrated for its crispy texture and perfect sauce, while the beef chop suey features tender meat paired with fresh vegetables.
Lee's Garden did not disappoint. Our usual go-to was shut, and so we ordered from here instead. Fantastic, super tasty, was really quick, staff was really polite, great portion size -- would certainly order again.

Ordered: Curried Beef, Chicken fried rice Price: Slightly above average for chinese in Kamloops Taste: Great; Above average Portion sizes: Average Atmosphere: Quiet, small Staff: Friendly, average Notes: While the food tasted amazing, it unfortunately gave me an upset stomach and diarrhea.

The food is always good here! I ordered a combo A. Delicious! Best Chinese food in town in my opinion. This location needs a renovation to be competitive. The service was average. She did her job.

Bought a chopsoy chicken at $22 after tax, with only 8 small piece of chicken and celery stems, 3 small piece of slide carrots! When asked , she said chicken chop soy is vegetable and not chicken. I left the whole meal untouched and she charged us full amount of $60. This place is a joke! AVOID AT ALL COST!

We came for dinner, the restaurant is clean and pleasant, the service was fast and the food was exquisite. The sweet and sour pork is crispy and perfectly sauced, the vegetables were perfect in the beef chop suey, with the most tender beef I've ever eaten, and the fried rice was exceptional. The deep fried wontons are also perfectly crispy and not greasy. You can tell they care about quality food here. I will drive the hour and 20 minutes to eat here again.

If you find yourself in Kamloops, make sure to stop by Watercress Vietnamese Restaurant for a delightful culinary experience. This charming eatery offers an array of authentic Vietnamese dishes that will transport your taste buds straight to Vietnam. Diners rave about the beef pho, which is seasoned to perfection and evokes nostalgic memories of home-cooked meals. The salmon rolls are also a hit, with patrons often requesting extra portions due to their deliciousness.
Satay Pho with jasmine tea for lunch today. I am so glad I finally made it in to Watercress Restaurant! Delicious food and wonderful, welcoming service. I even had the opportunity to have a lovely conversation with the owner. With no fresh basil to be found in town, fresh parsley was a decent substitute. Supplies, as we all know, can be tough to come by these days! Thank you for a wonderful meal, great conversation and excellent service! I will definitely be back!

Wanted to try this new restaurant on the Northshore. Very tastey! Nice clean place. Friendly owners! Great fish pot, very well presented. I had the vegetarian vermicelli combo. Lots to eat. Should of drank my mango bubble tea after my meal, to save room. Took 2 mango bubble teas home for later.

I had a 2-month visit to Kamloops which is a lovely town from my experience and i was blessed to find out this best gem in this town for Vietnamese food If you do not know about this restaurant, you will miss your best food in life. When you come here, please MUST try the magic number 15 on the menu, even Vancouver will not have this dish and i am sure that you will love this 15 on the menu for sure. Good broth, fresh meat and the taste is magical I am always honest in my review and i am back to Vancouver now which i really miss this place, so if you are in Kamloops, you are lucky, my friends.

We pass through Kamloops quite often, this is the first time we have eaten at Watercress Vietnamese Restaurant for dinner.I enjoyed the beef pho and my hubby had the salmon rolls. He asked for another portion. My beef pho was exceptionally tasty, with traditionally Vietnamese seasoning.Pho is my first choice in the morning for breakfast, reminds me of back home. The decore is simple Vietnamese in style. The price was very inexpensive with good quality and topped off with a good helping of sprouts. We will come back on our way through Kamloops. As they say in Canada Bon appétit.

When you're in the mood for a gourmet pizza experience, Gyldis Pizza Kamloops is the place to be. Since its establishment in 2010, this charming eatery has made a name for itself with its commitment to fresh ingredients and never-frozen dough. The friendly staff ensures that your order is prepared quickly, often right before your eyes. With options like a delightful cornmeal crust and an array of tasty toppings, every bite promises satisfaction.
Amazing pizza! I've heard about this food truck before and it's worthy of the hype. The pizza was hot and fresh and the dough and toppings were perfect. I learned tonight they also have a brick and mortar store which my spouse and I will be visiting from now on. All in all, 10/10 pizza and 10/10 location and customer service. Thank you!
Zee B — Google review
Well... what a treat. I haven't been to Gyldis in ages, and tonight I was craving some chicken Alfredo. So I ordered some up, 25 mins and I picked it up. This meal is outrageous! The noodles are perfect for how I like them (not mushy) the sauce is flavorful and creamy, the chicken is moist and deliscious. The garlic bread pieces are huge. Well done Gyldis, I will be back in the near future!

Absolutely amazing value and flavour! Delicious toppings, and the crust is to die for. Cheese sticks were also delicious, and the house tzatziki is 👌 My favorite local pizza place

This is a "take-out" only place. Very basic, not even a customer washroom while you wait. Pizza is good. A nice alternative to the "brand name" pizza places. They do their wings as oven baked and are nicer than the process style from the other places. Reasonable prices and friendly service.

Went here for the first time recently. Ordered a small pizza to go with toppings of my choice. The lady, who was most likely the owner seemed friendly enough. She took my order & made the pizza herself in a matter of minutes....no long wait time at all. Then she personally brought the pizza 🍕 to me. The pizza was made with a cornmeal crust which was tasty and ingredients were good. I really enjoyed it. I would come here again. The service and everything was very satisfactory. I really recommend this pizza place.
Sharon — Google review
Excellent crust! Slightly sweet sauce. I had a simple cheese pizza, but it was amazing! My Mom had the ham and pineapple and was equally impressed. I happened upon this place when I was passing through Kamloops, and would highly recommend anyone craving pizza to stop here. The order online option was great to save time having to sit and wait for the pizza. Pick up was through a window by the door, no issues with COVID distancing.

The Columbia Diner in Kamloops, Canada, offers a warm welcome and a nostalgic dining experience with its honest comfort food and genuine passion. The Dine Around menu features classic share favorites like Dirty Fries and Backyard Caesar, as well as main course options including Smash Burger, Habanero Hot Chicken Burger, and Ultimate Grilled Cheese. Conclude your meal with the delectable Columbia Cheesecake for a sweet ending.
On my way home from Shuswap, I wanted to eat at the Columbia Diner after looking it up for a good rest stop eat. When I got there, it was practically vacant, so I got a table anywhere right away. The restaurant gradually filled up as I waited for my meal. I ordered the Kamloops City Meatloaf with their Cappuccino. The drink was very good with a great emphasis on its creamy smoothness. The meatloaf was piquant with real meaty goodness. The gravy was so delicious and really elevated the whole entrée. The mashed potatoes were great too, and had fantastic consistency from its smoothness and no solid chunks. The green beans were surprisingly good and you could easily tell that they were grilled as well. The restaurant had this nice, clean, retro look to its interior design that adds to its diner quality. The service was great and found the waitress serving me to be very pleasant. Overall, I was very glad to come to the Columbia Diner for lunch and I would highly recommend anyone who is in Kamloops to come to eat there. I hope to come by again someday.

My boyfriend and I were on our way through town and thought the ratings on this cute diner was nice, but we quickly realized after a long wait that we might not get what we’re expecting. Since there was only one other table being served, we thought the service would be quick, but we waited at least 30mins after ordering. The staff was nice but the quality of food was just not to par at all! I wanted a light breakfast and ordered the protein breakfast which was made with liquid scrambled eggs (the waitress told me), 2 meat options and toast (picture attached). I decided to get fruit instead of toast and I’m glad I did because I felt that was the best part of the meal. My boyfriend got the lumberjack breakfast which was overall 2/5 but had real eggs scrambled (because of the option of eggs any style). He did not enjoy the sausages as well. The difference in the eggs was night and day when I tasted his and I didn’t bother finishing mine because they didn’t taste real. We would’ve liked to have the staff check on us after receiving our food as I felt our server just disappeared as we tried to find ketchup which was not provided on the table. Just a little more of a check in would’ve been nice. To finish it off when we paid, the tip option was ridiculous which started at 20% and went up from there. UM NO. For the quality of food, slow service and overall experience, the tip was not worth that much. It’s unfortunate because the design and look of the place is really cute and designed well, but the owners need to make some changes in their kitchen. Looking back, it says something when you’re not busy on a Sunday afternoon at 2:15pm. Hope this review helps to make this place better as it has a lot more potential!

1st time enjoying a meal here, very quick service with a smile in this cute diner, food was very good, definitely will be back to try the desserts next time. I had the poutine, it was really good, crispy Cajun fries with a hint of heat, will have this again for sure, second dish was the finger licken good, fluffy waffles and a tender crispy chicken, definite win as well..

Great stop at Columbia Diner in Kamloops! The Caesar was perfectly garnished and the steak & eggs skillet was hot, fresh, and delicious. Friendly service and a relaxed vibe. Highly recommend!
Jean N — Google review
I’m not saying the food is bad, I’m saying it’s really overpriced. My smash burger which states it comes with spicy curly fries as a side required me to pay an addition $5 for the curly fries and I got the tiniest portion you could imagine. Wild. This is like $3 worth of fries. The burger itself is $21 for a burger…. For a single patty regular burger $21 plus an extra $5 if you want a side?? We also got a chocolate milkshake which cost an astronomical $10 and is half the size of my hand. $1 per gulp. Fooled me once but won’t fool me twice.

Stopped in for dinner with the fam during our stay in Kamloops. We loved the modern well designed dining area with a panoramic view of the mountains. Our server was very friendly and welcoming. Our food was served hot, delicious with a great presentation. Very generous portions for a very reasonable price imo. We enjoyed our dinner so much we came back again for dinner the next night. If you find yourself in Kamloops and are on the hunt for a satisfying lunch, The Smorgasbord Deli is an absolute must-visit. This charming spot has been a favorite of mine for years, especially since it was conveniently located near my workplace when I first started my real estate career. Whether you're stopping by on your way to Banff or just looking for something fresh and light, this deli delivers with its spectacular food and warm atmosphere.
Incredible staff and proper high quality home food. Soup and sandwiches done better than anyone else. Managed by a woman known as a mother to the community and served with love. Everytime I'm in town I make a point of going in for a frikadiller sandwich and a latte. One bite and I feel like I'm home. I would recommend this spot above all to any who enjoy no frills great food.

Just went to The Smorgasbord for the first time. I was a bit surprised that a sandwich would cost $12 but I figured I would give them a try. The sandwich was so small and had barely any fillings. It was done by the time I made it to Dairy Queen where I went for lunch after my appetizer.

The experience at 5Bean Brewbar & Café was satisfactory. The establishment was bustling, and the staff were friendly and attentive. However, the pastries purchased earlier in the day appeared appetizing but lacked freshness and were difficult to chew. The espresso drink also had a slightly bitter taste. Despite these shortcomings, other reviews had raised expectations for higher quality food and beverages. Nonetheless, there was admiration for the ambiance of the place and the commendable staff members.
Friendly and efficient customer service with menu that has a variety of options, including non-dairy milks and different syrups I got the blended frapp with almond milk and a dash of sweetener and it was delicious
Maryam B — Google review
I recently visited and was disappointed with the service. When I pointed out that a used coffee cup was still on our table, the waitress dismissed it and didn’t bother to clean it, instead choosing to chat with coworkers. My friend and I had to move to another table ourselves. Cleanliness and attentiveness are basic expectations in any café, and unfortunately, this experience fell short. I hope management addresses this to improve customer service in the future.
Sharan P — Google review
One of the few places in Kamloops that you can get a decent traditional cappuccino. It's not much for ambiance and gets busy (and noisy along with that) but the coffee is decent. The baking used to be much better but they had to switch suppliers so it's not what it used to be. Still, a much better option than Starbucks IMO.
Hieronymus B — Google review
I enjoy their coffee and always try to support local but when the barista says ‘exactly’ in a condescending tone when I didn’t realize you needed a key for the bathroom it kind of detracts from the interaction. I was standing there thinking someone was in washroom and she sarcastically said ‘looking for the key’ I said ‘oh I didn’t know you needed one’ ‘to which she replied ‘exactly’ in the most condescending tone ever. Huh what? What did I do. Get over yourself and try and be nice to customers. This was in the Sahali location

My experience was ok. It was really busy and the staff were nice and attentive. However, while the pastry I bought early in the day looked really good, it did not taste good. It wasn't fresh and tough to chew. The espresso drink I bought was also a bit too bitter. Based on the other reviews I was expecting better quality food and drink. As mentioned I liked the place and staff, so I'll have to go back and give it another try I'm in town.

Tucked away in Kamloops, Madras Masala & Grill is a delightful treasure for those seeking genuine South Indian cuisine. This charming eatery may not be on every tourist's radar, but it’s a favorite among locals and international students from Thompson Rivers University who yearn for the comforting flavors of home.
If you haven’t eaten here yet, you are missing out! Best Indian food around! My family has been going weekly since we discovered this gem downtown Kamloops! Amazing food, friendly staff, good pricing, super clean - chef’s kiss!! My favourite - Mutter Paneer in creamy cashew sauce… soooo good!

This place has the best South Indian food (for vegetarians) in the town! We were travelling and stopped by here as we needed good vegetation options. Medu vada was 10/10! The utta pam was also 10/10. We also had paneer makhani dosa and that was 10/10 the best dosa we’ve had. Rasam was 6.5/10. The chutney and samdar was also let good. The food is very good but the cleanliness of the place is lacking. I hope next time it’s more clean looking (tables and dishes) but definitely would recommend this place

Sushi Plus is a small Japanese restaurant located in Kamloops that offers a variety of options for both seafood lovers and vegans. The restaurant is known for its ability to cater to vegan diners by offering dishes like Agedashi Tofu and Tempura made entirely vegan, which can be hard to find elsewhere. For those who enjoy seafood, the recommended Crunchy Munch menu and flavorful Dragon Roll are popular choices.
Just finished a very excellent meal at sushi plus. We ordered the spicy agedashi tofu, and gyoza for appetizers, both were delicious.the tofu was light , with a crispy texture. The dumplings simple and excellent. We also order a few maki rolls, tuna, avocado and cucumber, again they were expertly executed. Finally we had the tempura udon., the tempura was crispy and light with a great texture and nice complementary dipping sauce. The vegetable udon was exceptionally, the dashi was flavourful and understated, the cabbage and broccoli not over cooked. The house green tea was also very delicious. The price point was very reasonable. Highly recommended, I will be visiting again .

These portions are a joke. That is HALF a portion of Tamago at FULL price. The Sunomono has a tiny portion of noodles on top of a bed of lettuce to make the bowl look full. The "large" rolls have the same portion of filling as the small rolls, just with more rice packed around it. Full price for half the food.

A very nice experience overall! Top quality sushi that is presented with care, large portion sizes, a tasteful atmosphere for eating in, friendly and fast service, and very fair prices for the high quality. I stopped by passing to Vancouver. I did not expect kamloops to have such a delicious sushi place. I am not much of seafood fan but the recommended crunchy munch menu was amazing. The food did not smell fish at all, it is very harmonious with crunchy toppings and sweet and little bit of spiciness. (I am really picky eater when it comes to seafood) but their dragon roll was flavourful. One of my best sushi place ever. Also my kids enjoyed yakisoba, tofu menu with pleasant presentation. 😍

I was sceptical when I first saw this place, it was empty when we entered. However, after ordering their bento lunch set. I was like wow. The food was good. Each set had different combo. I have the beef don and it came with 1 large dumpling, 1large spring roll, 4 salmon sushi, 4 crab stick sushi, 1 serving of vege, 1 free soup and free flow green tea. And it all cost 15 bucks - 2 bucks discount = 13 bucks for all that. That's really something. Good price, good food but underrated. Try it!

We had an absolutely amazing meal and will definitely be back again. Our food was great and it was paced super well, between two couples we tried about eight dishes and didn't feel rushed or like everything came out too fast. Our server was super fun and made some great suggestions for both food and drinks. Amazing spot, so happy to have a cool place like this in Kamloops!

The food here was phenomenal. My favorite were the scallops with this corn mixture underneath. No, scratch that, my favorite was the smoked beef brisket in a crepe. I haven’t tasted something that delicious in years! The service is quick and attentive. The pork belly was a bit fatty but I understand some people like it like that. A but much for me and my girlfriend. Everything else we devoured!

This place was great. It felt like a Toronto or Vancouver bar. The room is beautiful. Our service couldn’t have been better. The food was good. And a good value. A few things. We got the 6 tapas for $105. Great value. It all came out a bit too quickly. We didn’t get a steak knife with the steak. The pork belly was tough. Our cocktails were delicious. Those are my only critiques. Overall though this is a great addition to Kamloops dining scene. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely the best experience so far! Jack found us browsing the menu outside and dragged us in. One of us is a vegetarian (and picky lol)... Stephen worked with us to accommodated our requests and everyone was extremely attentive, friendly, and kind throughout the dining experience. The drinks were amazing... Got the peach and coconut cocktails. The food was incredibly delicious... Got the Dilly Fritters, Smorreboard (without the sausage), and the Naked Frikka. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Dining Experience at Stills in Kamloops! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you're in Kamloops and looking for an exceptional culinary experience, look no further than Stills. This tapas and cocktail restaurant offers a dining adventure that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you craving more. Our group of seven adults decided to go all out with the Chef's choice of 6 tapas, plus an additional 7 plates. It was a feast like no other! Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The highlight for me was the Picante Belly - dry-rubbed chipotle pork belly with crunchy chicharrons, tequila cucumber jalapeno "yogurt", pickled baby carrot, and local micro cilantro. The combination of textures and flavors was simply divine. Following that, the Stills Co. Steak was another standout, featuring Dijon marinated flank steak with crushed peas and a warm nugget potato salad, served with truffle aioli. The steak was perfectly cooked and paired wonderfully with the sides. The Early Greens salad was a revelation - spring greens with a miso Honey & Hive vinaigrette, shaved fennel & asparagus, pickled baby carrot, grapes, crispy onion, crumbled goat cheese, and broken cracker crumble. Each bite was a delightful mix of fresh and tangy flavors. To complement the amazing food, I enjoyed a refreshing Campari Spritz. The drinks menu is as thoughtfully curated as the food, offering a variety of options to suit any palate. Too bad, no local craft beer was on tap, cans or bottles only. The service was impeccable. Our server was friendly, informative, and incredibly efficient, making sure we had everything we needed without missing a beat. Watching the kitchen in action added to the immersive experience - it's clear that the team at Stills is passionate about what they do. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a night out. One small note of caution - we found that we needed more plates than suggested, but that just gave us more opportunities to try their incredible dishes. Stills is more than just a restaurant; it's a journey through culinary excellence. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in top-notch tapas and cocktails. We can't wait to return! 5 stars all the way!

We stopped in for some cocktails and dessert. The service was incredible, the creativity and execution of the menu was superb. Paige helped us out and the recommendations and descriptions were exactly what I needed. When we asked her to surprise us with a different cocktail, we were not disappointed. I will be back, and I am looking forward to my next visit.

Went TP shopping at London Drugs and noticed they were open! PROS: it is obvious that a lot of attention has gone into the cocktail and food menu, as well as the decore. The food and cocktails were good, decent portions and price point. The service was also very friendly and attentive, especially given it was their 1st day open. We ordered 3 cocktails, a glass of wine, 4 tapas dishes, and 1 dessert. CONS: the food was luke warm and the steak, which was presented as med-rare, was overdone. When brought to our server's attention, she apologized, but no offer was made to replace the dish or comp it. There is no wine menu and when ordering a glass, we were not informed of the price, which would have been the proper thing to do. Finally, given it was their first day open, I would have expected the manager or GM to attend each table for feedback to ensure optimal client experience moving forward. If this was a well established venue, I would have given 3*, however, I believe Stills will only get better with experience. Overall, this is a welcome addition to downtown, especially if you're looking for an innovative menu and chic atmosphere for a good night out.

Pretty unique place in Kamloops. The cocktails were well executed, and the tapas was an interesting mix of flavors. We will be back to try a few more drinks and small plates. We were a little disappointed with the service as the place was understaffed for a Saturday night. Hopefully, we will see some improvement as it has tremendous potential.

It was a good meal, but I really wish this restaurant and many others would think about putting the ceiling tiles and carpet back in, It was so hard to hear my bro and his wife because the autistics are so bad. The woman with the loud shrill voice over talked the place making my ears hurt. The din just bounced around the room.

Since 1996, it has been a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes from around the world, including burgers, fajitas, pasta, and an impressive variety of draft beers. The friendly staff ensures a delightful dining experience with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Group of 8-This place has an excellent atmosphere with big screen TVs and all the flair that you would expect to see with such a place. The food is typical of what you would find at a pub, appetizer burgers, pizza, sandwiches, salads, soups, etc. This was my third visit here, the servers were friendly, helpful and professional the menu had a good selection of items to choose from. The food portions were decent and the prices were in line with the competition. This place was good enough to interest me in coming back to check out some of their other menu options and specials.

I came here for gluten-free options and at first I was disappointed because it didn't look like there was much on the menu, but talking to the server it turns out some things can be made GF and they have a dedicated GF fryer, so I could have fries and wings (the curly fries are not GF). The coffee is pretty weak, but fresh. I wouldn't say the food was overly flavourful, but it wasn't greasy and I was looking for some pub food and this hit the spot. The servers were friendly and the lunch time atmosphere is great. They had an early 2000s playlist going, which was a nice change from the usual loud rock and rap. Nothing wrong with that, but soft rock/pop rock was nice mid-day.

Enjoyed the Thai chicken bowl and my regular beer at Frick and Frack. The food was delicious! The staff was friendly and helped me through the menu. Love frick & fracks ambiance. Definitely a 10/10 for me.

My group had a great time here. The fries and gravy are cooked perfect, crispy on outside soft inside. Beef dip was flavourful and juicy. We had a child with us and he ate good and was given special attention. Fantastic place to eat.

I really enjoyed the service of my server daisy, she was very polite and extremely refined when it came to recommendations to anything on the menu. I would recommend requesting her if you decide to make the visit. Overall I would rate my experience a 9/10 it was quite peaceful considering it was a Saturday night. Her refined service made the evening memorable, and I highly recommend her.

This might have been my favourite Earls experience to date!🙌 Every aspect of my visit was exceptional and exceeded expectations! I have been living in Ottawa for the past two years, so this was my first Earls meal in two years. Not only was every staff member friendly and approachable, the entire restaurant was vibing. My server was one of the best I’ve seen and had (Geneviev-141). My meal was delivered hot, with hardly a wait time. Everything tasted so good!!!
Casey H — Google review
As always Earls food does not disappoint. Annabell was our server tonight and she was lovely. Would highly recommend her as a server! The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. My husband is particular about his steak and he was very pleased to have it as rare as he likes it. The only issue that dropped the rating some, is the level of noise. The booths are very open and you end up feeling as if you are a part of everyone's dinner, and they are a part of yours. It's not great for a nice quiet dinner, which is unfortunate because it makes other restaurants more appealing for date night.

I've been here a few times and it never disappoints. It's got great food and a great dining atmosphere. The service is always on point. The servers are very attentive and friendly. Perfect place for a date, business meeting, or just meet up to chit-chat. If you have some free time between 2:00 and 5:00 pm or anytime after 9:00 p.m. until they close, make sure to drop by to enjoy their happy hour specials.

We had such a fantastic time dining at Earls! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right mix of energy and comfort. The food was absolutely delicious — beautifully presented, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. What really made the experience stand out was our server, Taya. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuine. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Taya’s professionalism and upbeat personality truly elevated the whole experience. Highly recommend Earls for anyone looking for great food, great vibes, and top-notch service. Thank you, Taya, for making our night so enjoyable!

Great food, amazing service, and the perfect sunny patio! Angela was our server this afternoon and she was an absolute gem—warm, welcoming, and genuinely sweet. The food was fresh and full of flavour. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My husband and I had the most wonderful experience at Earl’s while celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, visiting from Halifax. Our waitress, Alex, was absolutely incredible—attentive, engaged, energetic, and truly the bees knees of waitstaff. Her warm personality, genuine care for her guests, and beautiful smile showed just how much she loves her job. She was detailed, quick, and completely on the ball. Earl’s is very lucky to have her—this young lady is going places! The meal was equally outstanding. I enjoyed my favorite beer, a Stella, with the Oven-Roasted Cajun Blackened Salmon, served with seasonal vegetables, jasmine rice, crispy onions, and microgreens—every bite was delicious. To finish, I treated myself to the pumpkin pie with cinnamon and sugar, topped with chantilly cream. It was out of this world—I was stuffed, but there wasn’t a crumb left behind. This evening was so memorable, and I truly hope to visit again before heading back to the East Coast. If Earl’s ever opens in Halifax, I’ll be first in line—but if not, I’ll happily keep traveling west for it!

We had a lovely time celebrating our anniversary at Earls this week! The food was excellent (I hope the bibimbap never leaves the menu) but the true star of our evening was our server, Emily M. Emily was so kind, attentive, and friendly; she was efficient and checked in on us frequently. She engaged with our infant son and made sure that we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our evening. We were so impressed with her service and hope to see her at Earls again soon!

Food.... Amazing Service.... Excellent Atmosphere.... Rocking Prices.... Fair They handled my family of 8 with no problems on mother's day. Only reason I'm giving there service a 4star is that they where short staffed and due to that and to be expected thing took abit longer but you could see them trying to handle the best they can. I can't explain to you threw here how wonderful the food was but please trust me and my family we will be back and from then on will be one of my go-to places to eat for a home cooked meal. Here are some pictures of our dinner's.

Classic, delicious, refreshing, nice people. It is a good restaurant in which you can enjoy Canadian food and good hamburgers. The environment is classic and you don’t get bored looking the walls.

Taking a step back to the 50/60's with pictures of old stars like Marilyn Monroe and others and matching decor greets you on entering Harold's. Also the sign saying be patient due to staffing shortage. I like the heads up as it helps customers realize staff are working extra hard. The food was good as was our server, I think his name was James. Very nice and efficient. The eggs Benny were very good. I could only give a 4 due to the sign apologizing washrooms are located downstairs. If they have another bathroom for people with mobility challenges, I didn't see it. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.

Great place to stop for breakfast. Service was great. We were seated as soon as we walked in. The food was prepared perfectly for our tastes. I had Eggs Benny. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the potatoes as well were very well done. Definitely will be going back again.

Could have been great, yet the waiting to order was too much. A young man sat us, got our coffee and we waited. My husband waved and a woman came over. She told us " i am not your server." This is completely unprofessional. When our server did arrive and I expressed my dissatisfaction she told me." You are what's wrong with the world, entitled and impatient." You go to a restaurant to be served, I've had over 30 years experience and now retired from the restaurant industry and never would I have talked to a customer like that.

Food was great! Prices were reasonable. Staff were super friendly! Nice old school vibe, without the greasy spoon dirtiness!

Great food, friendly service. A good place to stop if you want a menu with a wide variety of food. Not fancy, which is what I like when I want a late breakfast or a great sandwich with fries. I'd recommend Harold's for whatever you want to eat - unless you're looking for an intimate dining experience.

On The Rocks Pub & Grill is a lively hangout in Kamloops, known for its vibrant pub atmosphere and efficient service. The menu features globally inspired pub grub, including succulent chicken strips, cod bites, nachos, Cajun chicken burger, house burger, steaks, and clubhouse sandwich. Sweet treats like cheesecakes and triple chocolate torte are also available. The large pub-style patio is perfect for celebrating TGIF.
I dropped by On The Rocks Pub & Grill while passing through Kamloops, and it was exactly the kind of local spot I hoped to find. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, with plenty of seating both indoors and on the patio. You get that classic pub vibe without it feeling too noisy or overcrowded. The food definitely hits the mark, solid portions and great value. I tried the wings (which seem to be a local favourite), and they didn’t disappoint: crispy, saucy, and perfectly cooked. Their burger was juicy and stacked just right, and the fries were golden and crisp. They also have a surprisingly good range of vegetarian options for a pub, which was a nice touch. The service was friendly and casual. The staff checked in just enough without being overbearing. Also, if you're into sports, this is a great place, screens everywhere and a lively, but not overwhelming, crowd during game time.
Adam W — Google review
Very disappointing!! The quality of the food does not match the promise of a palatable meal. I ordered halibut and chips… the fish was not Halibut by any means. I know my fish and the flaky texture resembled Cod versus Halibut. The shoestring fries is a preference I guess but doesn’t live up to traditional hand-cut fries. I really hope the owners/managers try the fish and revise their menu accordingly. It sucks when a restaurant with decent reviews fails to deliver! Do better please 🙏
Moreen R — Google review
A very cool vibe there and tons of TVs to watch the big game. Huge beer 🍺 there as well!!! I tried the burger that is named after every Quentin Tarantino movie called "Big Kahuna" and it is a sloppy mess that will ruin you if you are not careful eating it. But it was "a tasty burger 🍔 " I would go back to try some happy hour or daily specials again.

Went for food or was pretty good. A big wait but there were sports teams there.
Derrick Z — Google review
Nice location, the food on the other hand wasn’t good. The firecracker calamari was terrible. The Italian stallion pizza wasn’t good either.
Jim — Google review
Rather noisy sport's bar inside. Thankfully a little quieter on the outside. The gin and tonic was Very watery, no lime flavor, better described as drop of gin in soda water, with extra ice. The beers and wine were good. The jambalaya was very tasty, filling and flavourful. Generally a good experience.
