Bar & grill
Family restaurant
If you're on the lookout for a delightful dining experience, M & R Grill is a gem that should be on your radar. Since 2019, many have embraced healthier eating habits, and this charming eatery stands out by genuinely listening to its patrons' requests for lighter preparations with minimal oil or butter. Unlike typical small-town diners that may serve up lackluster meals, M & R Grill prides itself on fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes.
Amazing service and food came out so quickly we thought no way would it be good. But it was delicious! The wings were saucy but not soggy. The PB&B burger is an amazing combination of flavors. I was curious at first but it works together really well. Next time we'll ask for medium rare but it was delicious even at medium well.

M&R Grill is a gem in Abilene that really delivers on both service and flavor. From the moment we walked in, the staff was quick, friendly, and attentive, making us feel welcome right away. The menu offers a great selection of local favorites, with something for everyone—whether you’re craving sandwiches, hearty burgers, or classic dinner plates. It’s clear they’ve put thought into balancing variety with quality. The dining room is spacious and comfortable, accommodating everything from small tables for four to larger groups with ease. Our meals were served hot and fresh, and we were pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and well-prepared everything was. It’s not often you find a place that nails both speed and quality, but M&R Grill pulls it off. We left impressed and satisfied, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

I don’t know what happened here. Usually, we have pretty good service. I’ve left positive reviews in the past, but this time it took us over an hour to get our food and they weren’t busy, the waitress seemed confused on what she needed to do. It took us less than two minutes to get seated with no weight Then it took 15 minutes for somebody to come get our drink orders which I also ordered an appetizer chips and dip. It took another 18 minutes to get our drinks and then another 10 minutes to get the appetizer then we finally ordered. We ordered our food and then waited another 25 minutes before it brought to the table when I arrived, the food was cold my sons each ate half of their hamburger. My daughter only ate one bite of chicken tenders. My wife couldn’t eat any of her meal and I ate a third of a Philly. Then when we complained about the food being cold they said the manager had to call the owner to figure out what to do they offered to microwave it. Are you serious? We said no thank you we’d like to check. They billed us for the full amount almost $100 manager didn’t even come to the table. I don’t blame the owner I’m absolutely positive they would not of instructed anyone to microwave anything this place is like I have said normally pretty good- I’m updating my review cause in hind sight I think this was a staff issue not a restaurant issue-
Jeremy H — Google review
M & R Grill is a lively spot, especially if you’re stopping in during a game. We had hamburgers, which were solid, though a bit on the pricey side for the quality. The place was packed with families watching football on all the TVs, giving it a fun, energetic atmosphere. Service was clearly stretched thin — we waited about 10 minutes to be seated because the bartender was also acting as the host — but to their credit, they were hustling and doing their best. Parking can be tricky when it’s busy, so be prepared to circle around a bit. I’d go back under the right circumstances, especially if you’re in the mood for a casual spot to grab a burger and catch a game with the locals.
Greg O — Google review
Passing by Kansas we stopped @ this place, it was an average taste meal, I got the tropial chicken with pineapple and teriyaki sauce, chicken was ok but my rice was hard, pineapple was delicious.
Gina Z — Google review
We loved this as a pit stop on our road trip. Fun atmosphere, very tasty food! The outside is very humble, but the inside and the food is really great. It felt like a breath of fresh air for us travelers. Clean bathrooms also made it a good stop for us.
Rachel M — Google review
Great local place for big eats! Must try the Philly cheese steak sandwiches!! We ordered way too much food for the portions (silly Canadians) but there was lots for leftovers!
Ginger S — Google review
Come hungry, big potions, and a great selection to choose from. I had a chicken sandwich, and the chicken was three times the size you get at a fast food place. You leave hungry that would be your problem.

Coffee shop
Nestled in the heart of Downtown Abilene, Amanda's Bakery & Bistro is a charming establishment that beautifully marries the cozy feel of a local bakery with the sophistication of a bistro. As you step inside, you're greeted by the delightful scent of freshly baked goods wafting through the air. Their lemon blueberry scones are an absolute highlight, bursting with zesty sweetness that will leave your taste buds dancing.
Such a cute and welcoming place to eat! They even let our toy poodle inside which we really appreciated. Had a great lunch (chicken salad on amazing croissants). Highly recommend!
Mary M — Google review
Oh, what friendly service and help this restaurant offers travelers. The lemon pasta was a delight. The chicken wild rice soup was amazing. Sandwiches were built just right with more than enough protein. The shred-carrots were a surprise in the roast beef sandwich. Tuna melt and turkey wraps were amazing. Overall, Amanda's is a great stop after the Eisenhower Memorial. Be sure to try the Italian Sodas here
Rodmanllew — Google review
Cute space. Oddly dark but lots of lamps. Food is basic but tasty. Metal cutlery but paper plates. I had the Greek chicken salad. It was not traditional but it was ok.
Susan D — Google review
Nice lunch sandwiches! The roast beef was the real deal.. not just deli meat they bought somewhere. French onion soup was great.. and the brownies were wonderful. Great place that's a mix of bakery restaurant museum and gift shop!
John M — Google review
Great little place with great customer service and lots of cute trinkets to buy. We ordered a breakfast wrap, a PB&J, and a breakfast sandwich. We also picked up a Christmas gift for someone special. We’ll be coming back soon.
Sabrina R — Google review
What a unique place with great food and friendly staff! We were so grateful that they allowed us to bring our dog, Pepper in, due to the heat! The scones are some of the best I've had. Abilene is lucky to have such a wonderful place!
Barb D — Google review
We had a group of 9, we were able to squeeze two tables together, but not really set up for more than groups of 6, IMO. Lots to look at while waiting, but even as busy as they were, we didn't have to wait long.

Everything was amazing! The food, the servers, the atmosphere! Glad we asked the woman at the museum at the Eisenhower Presidential Museum and Library of places to have lunch. If I'm ever this way again, definitely will stop by again!!

Mexican restaurant
If you're in Abilene and craving authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further than La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant. This beloved spot has become a weekly tradition for many locals who rave about its consistently fantastic food and refreshing margaritas. The chips and salsa are often highlighted as the best around, making it a must-try for any Mexican food enthusiast. With an extensive menu featuring everything from Sancho to Tex-Mex quesadillas, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
A friendly local restaurant with good tacos. Close to the Eisenhower Museum La Fiesta is the place to enjoy some great Mexican food.
David C — Google review
Not a ton of places to choose from in Abilene but this was within walking distance to our B&B so we went for it. They close early at 8pm (because I think Abilene closes early). I had the tamales which were pretty good. The soft shell beef tacos were good. We had the fried ice cream... I'd pass next time. Tasted stale and they were stingy with the chocolate sauce.
Cindy R — Google review
This restaurant has been in Abilene for along time. It is not what it used to be with the food quality not remaining the same form time to time. Its an ok dive. EDIT 5/28/24 Meal was not good. I think it's time to stop coming here. Empty glass on my table for over 15 min. I was one of two tables that had people in it
Ramey H — Google review
I came to see the Dwight D Eisenhower museum stopped in Abilene for lunch at La fiesta. Great Mexican restaurant. I had the green chili pork Verde along with a crunchy taco both were very tasty. Service was great.
Christopher C — Google review
Food is always positively consistent. I either get the Sancho or the tex mex quesadilla. The last two times we have been there the service is friendly but less than prompt. I think our waitress was new and she was having a hard time keeping up. But overall a good place to go for quality Mexican food.
Lance T — Google review
Love this place! Delicious food and friendly service, plus the atmosphere is awesome! We will definitely be back when we're driving through town again.
Lee S — Google review
The food was good but the service was poor. Our server never offered us extra chips or refills on our water & soda. She never checked on us after our food was served. We had to source our own napkins and silverware from a nearby table. The many signs of rules made us feel unwelcomed.
Ken D — Google review
The food was very good! The ambiance and service were no joke either. Very festive atmosphere. Loved it!

Pizza restaurant
Pizza delivery
Tossed N Sauced Pizza is a delightful gem that perfectly blends history with a vibrant atmosphere. Nestled in a charming building, this eatery offers an inviting experience with friendly staff who keep the energy high while maintaining their warm smiles. The pizza here is nothing short of spectacular; patrons rave about the unique, soft crust that’s so good you’ll want to finish every bite—even if you're not usually one for crust!
I would have skipped this place but it is almost the only restaurant open Mondays. We decided to get Doubled crusted pizza. I’ve never had that before. The ingredients were fresh the “Pie” was delicious. We ordered 100 Mile I believe but customized it. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that I wasn’t more hungry lol.
Teresa N — Google review
Driving through Abilene and lock to stop here for lunch on Pi Day! The positive reviews did not mislead. The pizza really hit the spot with good ingredients, high amount of sauce, and a crust that was just thick enough to have its own delicious flavor of bread but not so thick that it felt like a side or even entree unto itself. The just amazing part of the meal was was the BBQ Beef Brisket. It was pulled rather than sliced, but the beef and BBQ combo tasted the closest to the BBQ Steak Pizza that I miss so dearly from Hutchinson's Ken's Pizza.
Michael S — Google review
I've reviewed A LOT of restaurants, and this does not happen very often, I can't think of even a tiny thing wrong with our visit. This busy restaurant is located in charming downtown Abilene and the building itself is pretty great, 3 floors of seating. We started out on floor 2, but moved to floor one when two more joined our party. Our waitress never missed a beat, took our orders, brought our food and drinks, and smiled all the time! They were super busy, festival in town, but we received our food in quick time. Now, the food, oh what wonderful food. A double crust pizza that was so beautiful, and tasty to those family members who ordered it. I am vegetarian, so I opted for the taco salad, no meat, it was visually perfect and tasted superb ( see photo). Another in our group had a cheesy pasta with breadsticks, again, perfect. Manager came out and told us a bit of Abilene trivia. All in all, excellent choice. I give my highest recommendation. A+
Annette L — Google review
Located on the North East Cornor of 3rd Street and Cedar, you can find this charming pizza place. A small, inviting dining room with more space and tabels upstairs makes this spot a great place to dine. There was a nice selection of beers to choose from, as well as soft drinks to go with your meal. The menu is small, but the choices are great. From pizza to calazones, salads, and wings, keeps the menu simple and not overwhelmingly busy. The pizza was tasty, with a nice sturdy crust, nice pull on the cheese. The wings were very tasty and made for a great appetizer. This is a pizza resteraunt I will be traveling back to soon.
Marc F — Google review
Hey, great meal here. We ordered a side salad and the 100 Mile double crusted pie. The salad was generous and fresh and the blue cheese dressing and the ranch dressing are both top notch. The pie was excellent. A really great combination of toppings inside a delicious buttery crust. Plenty of jalapenos in this one, so beware. Really really good. Basic seating inside, but super nice staff, and a cool hometown vibe. I highly recommend if you want a nice break from the interstate.
Jon J — Google review
First time ordering online to be delivered. I ordered a calzone. Wow! What an amazing product. The breading was beautifully toasted, and it wasn't all bread like most places. I got it with pepperoni and extra mushroom and it was filled and I do mean filled. There was no need for extra sauce to dip it in because there was plenty inside it.
Jennifer L — Google review
The pizza itself was really good, but the experience overall was disappointing. We waited about 50 minutes for our food, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy — maybe 20 people dining in and what looked like 10 or 11 staff members working. No one acknowledged or apologized for the long delay, which made it more frustrating. It’s a shame, because the food has potential, but the service and attentiveness definitely need improvement.
Marissa H — Google review
We decided to stop in for lunch during our road trip and choose a pretty good time as they weren’t that busy. The waitress was nice and had a good attitude but wasn’t very attentive (dirty dishes were left at the edge of the tables and weren’t picked up and no one every came to ask how the food was despite them walking by multiple times) The food was okay but I think we both agreed to check this off the list of places to eat if we visit Abilene again.

Charming place, sizable dining room. The menu has plenty of options. The food was served fast, and the staff was very friendly, I am definitely coming back to try other menu items. Classic roadside joint, a must visit.

Great find for our short visit to Abilene. Looking at the outside I was questioning our choice, but great interior, friendly & helpful service, & delicious food. We're hoping it's mealtime when we next pass near Abilene.
Gerald W — Google review
Was in town to visit Eisenhower Presidential Library and Seelye Mansion and stopped by here for lunch. It’s a casual family-owned one room restaurant whose patrons seem to be mostly locals. This is always a good thing. They serve breakfast all day, numerous burgers, sandwiches, and various plates. We ordered the reuben and BLT sandwiches and the catfish plate with mac n cheese. The veggie of the day was green beans. Everything was good except for the mac n cheese, which didn’t taste very fresh — you can tell the pasta and cheese had become coagulated. It wasn’t creamy cheesy as good quality mac n cheese should be. Wasn’t even homemade. And the green beans? Straight from the can! It was mushy and bland. Who wants to eat soggy green beans?! This was rather disappointing. Service was straightforward. Free parking in their small lot but also ample street parking.
Dewi A — Google review
Very friendly staff, got us seated pretty quickly as it was quite busy. Nice small-town place to eat. We had the brisket sandwich, very good and a slice of Dutch apple pie with ice cream, yummy!
Rhonda S — Google review
This is a down-home cafe. My hot roast beef sandwich was excellent, truly a Midwestern classic. Although the taste was fantastic, I think by definition a sandwich should consist of two slices of bread, even if served open-faced. It was really good though; it's making me hungry just writing this review. Service perfect will go again.
Joe C — Google review
My wife and I went for the first time recently, despite living in the area for a while. Overall a good experience - Service was great and except for my hashbrowns (kinda cold and chewy) the food was also good. My wife really enjoyed the pork tenderloin sandwich and my western omelette was fresh and tasty. They were quite busy when we were there but our server was on top of it and very attentive. UPDATE 5/2023 - Still solid service and food was great. My pancakes were huge and really tasty.
Lance T — Google review
One word best describes this restaurant for me, underwhelming. I visited with a group of 3, and we all ordered burgers. Meh. You can get burgers just as good at Wendy's and pay half the price. The service was very good, and our server was attentive. My biggest problem was that we picked this place thinking we could enjoy a beer with lunch. No alcohol license, bummer. I don't think we will be going back.
James M — Google review
Fantastic home cooked meals! The sandwiches are amazing. Couldn’t believe how good the Rueben and BLT are. Must stop when you’re visiting the Eisenhower sites. True hometown experience!!

James S — Google review
Stop by on our way through and had some really good food here. I heard the steak was excellent, but they were out of most of it that evening. I had a great French dip sandwich with some awesome cheese curds. Highly recommend the cheese curds and I have pretty high standards for them. Swing by and give it a shot!
Dale M — Google review
All of the food that came out was either frozen, canned, or produced somewhere else other than on the facility. The server told us the special and then it was not the right things that came with it. Was charged $5 for a side salad that had runny ranch and was not at all worth that money. Seating was uncomfortable and there was only one server on a somewhat busy Saturday afternoon. Overall, the experience was unsatisfying and I would not recommend this location. Price point was high for serving size and quality of food was definitely lacking.
Paul E — Google review
We went here with a friend as a goodbye dinner mainly because this was a “well crap where we wanted to go is closed” we got there and food was WAY over priced first red flag and should have been our only red flag we needed to get up and leave. My husband said the sandwich he ordered wasn’t terrible but his onion rings were MOLDED not even a little moldy either. The burger patties are frozen which is a disappointment considering how Abilene has a big farm population. Overall a terrible food experience on-top of outdated decor will NEVER eat here again. Only good thing was the waitress who was at least trying.
Axle S — Google review
No one at the front door to seat you. Had to wander around the place to find a guy. Bathroom was out of service. Half the menu was steaks but they were out of every type of steak. Out of half the beers on tap. The only waiter I saw working there seemed overwhelmed with all the customers. Some left immediately after finding out they had no steaks. Looks like poor management. I remember this place being very different when I was a kid. Better food back then. Hate to say it, but it'll be another 30yrs before I try again.
James W — Google review
The food was pretty good. Chicken fried steak was fried well. No steaks the night we were there. The reuben was delicious with the right amount of tender meat, saurkraut and 1000 island dressing. The cole slaw was bland.
Michal V — Google review
For the price our food was just “ok” and the service was absolutely horrible. The women who greeted us was so rude and our waitress could have cared less of what we needed. We will never go back and will never recommend to anyone.
Patti W — Google review
The food was good, but they spilled a tray of drinks (6) on one of our guests and then sat her in a chair with glue from a booster seat on it getting on her jeans and never offered a discount on their meal. Shame on you.

The menu features fresh and flavorful options such as the Al Greens salad with hearty vegetables topped with white balsamic dressing, and the Wild Rice soup. Guests rave about the refreshing and tasty OG juice as well as the complex and delicious Fresh Beets drink.
HapiSoul Cafe is an absolute gem! I recently tried The Dolly, and I have to say, it's the most delightful sandwich I've ever tasted. Every bite was a battle between devouring it or savoring it slowly because I didn't want the experience to end. The flavors were spot-on, and the freshness was unmistakable. But it's not just the food that makes this place special. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The peaceful vibe here is something truly unique—it's a space filled with such good energy that you can't help but feel uplifted. Abilene is incredibly lucky to have a cafe like HapiSoul. OH MY!!! I stumbled across this FANTASTIC Cafe passing through Abilene, Kansas. The proprietors are very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating and the space is very comfortable, well decorated, modern and extremely clean— located inside of an old historic brick building with the entrance on the corner. They have EXCELLENT Vegan pizza and the most delicious Vegan cookies. I also had a nice lemon ginger honey cayenne shot for an energy boost. I only have excellent things to say about this place and I’m excited I found it. I would highly recommend it to anyone and especially those who are looking for vegan food. There’s absolutely nothing negative to say. It is awesome!!! Try it yourself! —Zeb B.

We are so happy we found this place! Being vegetarian makes it hard sometimes to find places to eat. The food here was incredibly fresh and delicious! We had the tomato soup, avocado toast, and California dreamin flatbread with homegrown tomatoes instead of the onion. YUMMY! The smoothies were super good too! Highly recommended!
Stephanie B — Google review
I wanted to like this place so bad, but the service killed it for me. I love the made to order concept, but it just takes way too long to get food here. My husband and I went on the 4th of July- took us over an hour to get 2x smoothies and a wrap. Went last Friday (only 2x orders in front of me) and it took over 40 minutes to get a smoothie and the kung fu wrap. The food is delicious, but only go if you aren’t in a hurry.

My wife and I are here and really enjoyed the food and classy interior. A delightful and very fresh tasting lunch! I had my new favorite salad - the Al Greens, which I would recommend to anyone. A delightful mix if hearty vegetables topped with a white balsamic. The wild rice soup was also excellent. My juice, the OG was refreshing and tasty. My wife enjoyed her wrap and said it had a great balance of flavors. The juice, which included fresh beets, was complex and delicious. Very impressed!

This Juicery is amazing! What an addition to Abilene's growing selection of restaurants as soon as you walk in it has a homey/ upclass feel to it. I had the Fresh Beets drink and the Willie Nelson which is chicken on naan bread glazed with oil and finished with a bit of salt and pepper it was delicious. Will be returning for my lunch whenever Im looking for a fresh healthy and light meal. The two ladies at the front are great to have conversation with as well.

Midwest Creamery & Q is a delightful fusion of two culinary favorites: ice cream and barbecue. This charming establishment offers an array of creamy ice cream flavors, from classic vanilla to unique options like honey lavender. During my visit, I indulged in a refreshing peach and cream snow cone that was simply delicious! The new location radiates warmth, making it the perfect gathering spot for families and friends eager to enjoy comfort food together.
We had the BBQ chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. All of it was wonderful! The kiddo is very picky, and didnt want the chicken he had asked for. We asked if they would replace it with brisket, and they gave us a full new bbq bowl with fresh mac and a full serving of brisket on top, just so our kid could finish his meal. Incredible service, incredible food, and kind people. We will return here many times. Truly a gem. Everything was excellent. We cannot recommend this place enough.

I could of bought my own slab of anything, and made it last for 3 days. The amount of meat i got was not worth the price, I got fat and literal burnt, disgusting pieces of pork. Inedible. I do just fine cooking and smoking myself. Nothing stood out. Zero juice in my meat, zero passion, zero sour cream or butter in the potato. Dry, weak, and zero love. They cook the meat too fast, and not slow enough. No bang for the buck. I promise you. FYI!! The children in the front have the tip suggestion on 11$. It is not worth 11$. Total disappointment overall.

When I arrived they said that they didn’t get smoothie orders often… and now I know why. I ordered a peach smoothie from this place and it not only looked like play doh it also smelt like play doh and tasted like play doh. I am unsure of how something like this could have occurred. The people seems nice but the smoothie was not. Let you be warned to stay away from the smoothies

Although specialized in snow cones (not the kind like when I was a kid in the paper cones), the limited ice cream selections were wonderful. I'm not a huge vanilla fan, but theirs is excellent and my favorite out of my build your own banana split. Our party also had a snow cone, root beer & and Dr. Pepper float, carmel sundae, and hot fudge/carmel sundae. Thanks for the tasty treat on our first visit from out of town and we loved the house as well.

First time being there I'm originally from Cincinnati Ohio so we have Graeter's Ice Cream there and UDF "United Dairy Farmer's" but I have to say this is the best ice cream I ever had and there BBQ is great to and a reasonable price. I'm definitely going to be there again!

Nestled at 311 N Spruce Street, The Hickok Spirits & Eats is the perfect destination for food lovers seeking a delightful mix of BBQ, burgers, and fresh salads. This vibrant new eatery has quickly become a local favorite, offering both indoor dining and a charming patio for those who prefer to enjoy their meals al fresco. On opening night, the restaurant buzzed with excitement as guests indulged in mouthwatering dishes like brisket paired with wild west slaw and fire pit corn.
Visited them on opening night. They had a great crowd and were busy. I ordered a full of the brisket with two sides (wild west slaw and fire pit corn) and my wife ordered a half Wood-Fired chicken with one side(trail style green beans). The BBQ and drinks were phenomenal. The fire pit corn was not what I was expecting. It was a little spicy but not to my liking. Cheers to them for their performance on opening night! Go give them a try, you won't be disappointed! We'll see you again soon!

Amazing food & excellent service! The Cowboy Salad is HUGE & delicious! Husband says the smoked sausage was the best he’s had anywhere. Our waiter was very good & he was busy! We will be back!

Waited 50 minutes before even receiving our appetizer. Once we got our meals, everything was cold unfortunately. None of the food was even remotely warm. Food is not worth waiting almost an hour. Had to ask for silverware and napkins, and we were given a plastic fork and one napkin per person. Fries and cheese curds were good but were probably made frozen. Will not be coming back.

What a great place! Was on a road trip and only one night in Abilene. Service was phenomenal and we had the brisket (awesome) with apple slaw (mixed it with brisket). Beers cold, on tap, and just a wonderful dinner with my traveling companion. Wish we were staying longer, but couldn't have asked for a better spot to eat and enjoy a couple of beers. BBQ Sauces were great too!

There have been some bad reviews posted regarding food and service. However, that was not my experience. Food was excellent, and the service was prompt and efficient. All portions are quite large and delicious. Highly recommend the fire pit corn and jalepeno beans. Smoked sausage was so good no sauce was needed.

Place is dark. Nothing but sports on the many TVs. Waitress not at all friendly or helpful. Every question I asked was answered with “ I don’t eat (fill in the blank) but it’s one of our best sellers.” I asked for a plain burger- no cheese no lettuce no onions. It came with lettuce, tomatoes, onions. I asked for very rare so to give credit where it’s due, it was very rare. The fries were good. Seasoned and crispy. I won’t go back

Wow! What a find. Classic wood bar with seating for probably a few dozen in chairs and a handful at the bar itself. The Cowboy salad, according to my wife, is the best ever. 6 or more barbeque sauces and great pulled pork. They even serve beer?

Thank you for a delightful experience after a long day on the road in our rv. We just loved meeting the owner and hearing her story. This tap house is so well-appointed in its decor that is fitting for the time period of the town but with a current twist. The bubble glass vintage plates are a great choice for presenting your charcuterie creations. The hearty bowls of homemade chicken soup loaded with noodles, chunky potatoes, and carrots were delicious. Keep up the good work. You have an excellent vision. Best wishes especially on your upcoming one year anniversary!

Rackets Tap House was a great surprise — a perfect low-key spot to unwind. I ordered a beer on tap, and it was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent too — friendly and attentive without hovering. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, not loud or chaotic like some tap houses. Pricing was very inexpensive for what you get, which made it even better. There’s outdoor seating and plenty of easy parking, which is always appreciated. We’d definitely recommend it to both locals and travelers passing through. A solid spot for a laid-back drink and good conversation.

We have been to Rackets Tap House a couple of times so far. We’ve ordered from the food trucks, but also want to try a charcuterie board next time. Great staff and relaxed, casual atmosphere! It’s a great place for people of all ages to mingle with people you may or may not have seen in awhile. Stop by Rackets and try out their tap wall and eats!

Rackets was a great place to have our Board meet and socialize. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make the obscure drink requests we had. Nestled at 316 N Broadway Street, Susie's Deli LLC is a beloved local gem that serves up breakfast and lunch with a personal touch. This charming spot is perfect for fueling your downtown escapades, offering hearty meals in a welcoming atmosphere. Guests rave about the impeccable service, which is both fast and friendly, making every visit enjoyable. One standout dish that has captured the hearts of many is the Everything Bagel BLT—an exquisite combination of flavors that leaves diners craving more.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Susie's Deli, and I can't sing their praises enough. From the moment I walked in, the service was impeccable--fast, efficient, and friendly. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the Everything Bagel BLT. It was phenomenal! The bagel was perfectly prepared, and the blend of flavors from the bacon, lettuce, and tomato was simply divine. Each bite was a perfect balance of savory and fresh, making it a standout dish that I highly recommend. I also tried Floy's macaroni salad, which was a delightful surprise. The macaroni was cooked to perfection, and the creamy dressing had just the right amount of seasoning. It was a comforting, satisfying side that complemented the BLT beautifully. Overall, everything was prepared to perfection, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. Susie's Deli has definitely earned a spot at the top of my list for delicious, well-prepared meals. I can't wait to return and try more of their offerings!

This location was absolutely perfect for our family to stop by after riding the train in town. Tables were large, and the house felt so cozy. Also enjoyed the cow pictures. We shared a chicken wrap and the Italian sandwich with fruit and macaroni salad. Everything came out hot and fresh. The wrap was shredded chicken which felt healthier than fried, and was easy for my little boys to eat. The creamery that is also inside the location made a wonderful chocolate malt that the whole family enjoyed. We will be back whenever we are back this way.

"The Farmhouse" is a charming restaurant in Abilene with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable about the area's history and eager to share interesting stories. The menu features delicious dishes such as perfectly breaded catfish, flavorful creamy Italian dressing, and mouthwatering homemade pies, cheesecakes, and cakes. Guests rave about the fantastic food, including burgers, salads, and chicken fried steak.
Excellent, all dinners come with soup and salad. The steak was really good. Cheesecake was excellent

We had a party of 7 meet up in Abilene to eat here. Some of us drove 2 hours. The food was delelicious. However, the server was not very good and the place was not as friendly as we expected. We had to ask for everything: refills, to take our order,,etc. We also had people in our party allergic to wheat and they put croutons on their salad.

So so restaurant. Dirty carpet. Cloth napkin smelled. Restaurant had a musty odor. Soup & baked beans had an off flavor. Chops & baked potato were good.

I just wanted a salad. The first page listed a bunch of salads, so of course I picked the one with crispy chicken. I made a point to ask if it was more than just lettuce cheese and chicken, the waitress assured me it had 'everything' on it. For the record, everything usually includes more than 1/8th of a tomato, 3/4 of a mushroom, 1 small piece of broccoli and a miniscule bit of cauliflower. But everything does include a disurbing amount of bacos. Not real bacon, Bacos. The brisket was also had. It was ok, unless you've had the brisket from Sam's club, then you'll be disappointed. Luckily we have no reason to go back. Oh, and they have Skittles for sale in to go sauce containers... Not sure how hygenic that is.

I would like to rate this restaurant higher, because I have been coming here for many years and have always had a good experience. Overall, the staffing seemed adequate and the service was acceptable. The location still has the same homey feel which offers something unique compared to a chain restaurant. However, on this visit the overall quality of the food left a little to be desired. I ordered the prime rib special cooked medium and was disappointed as the meat was overcooked and quite tough. It seemed as though it had been cooked previously and reheated in the microwave. My wife ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs. The meat was tender and well-flavored, but was almost cool and again had the feel of having been reheated not quite fully. We ordered a child's plate for our two small boys to share, and the size of the portion was much smaller than what I remember on my previous visits to Mr K's Farmhouse. The highlight of the meal was the cheesecake we ordered for dessert. It was enjoyed by all!

This place was spectacular! The food was great- the kids devoured their burgers, my wife said her salad was "fan-triple-tastic", and I had the best chicken fried steak I've had in years. The service was incredible, and they were even willing to stay open while we were the only ones there. Overall, great experience- we will be back!
Brad K — Google review
I would really like to rate this place higher because it has a lot of good features. The location is nice, right at the edge of town. The ambience of being in an old farmhouse is interesting. The service was good enough, but after all is said and done you go to a restaurant for the food and the food simply wasn't very good. I had baked fettuccine which was only average. My wife had chicken fried chicken and it was basically inedible. We sent it back and tried the chicken fried steak and it was just slightly better. I don't think I will ever go here again but I hope some people do because I really think my experience was not the norm. Unfortunately for my visit a two star rating is really generous.

If you're looking to immerse yourself in the spirit of the Wild West, a visit to Old Abilene Town is a must. This charming destination features an array of both replica and original buildings that narrate the rich history of cattle drive days. Among these historic structures lies the Hitching Post Restaurant, a beloved spot known for its hearty cinnamon rolls that will keep you energized throughout your morning adventures. When lunchtime rolls around, their Surf and Turf is a standout choice that promises satisfaction.
This place had multiple items that would normally cause me to lower the rating, but overall was a five star experience. We had called ahead to make sure they were open, but then arrived at the same time another customer was walking away because all of the doors were locked. Finally realized the open door is on the side away from the Handicapped parking. We entered and were seated by someone who continued to show evidence that she did not know the basics of how the restaurant was to be run, but she was helpful. Just clueless. On Friday night, they offer a prime rib dinner for $25+ or a buffet for $17. We had the buffet, which consists of a salad bar (with spring mix instead of iceberg) and a hot bar totaling 19 items. My hubby enjoyed four of the all-you-can-eat steaks. I tried the fish. We were also offered baked potatoes and dinner rolls, which really helped, since my teeth don't allow me to enjoy the steaks. It's really very economical, if you can enjoy steak. Our waitress did not show up until we were well into our meal, but another server stepped in and did a great job doubling up. Like I said, individually, many of these things would have been 4 stars. But all together, it was a five star dinner, and we would return.

Update!! All is back to normal. Fast service. Large variety of food. Ask for light spice on grilled items. I had a healthy meal of grilled catfish, wild rice and fruit. Soups of the day. Taco bar today. The food was good.

The food was alright. We ate the specials. It came with a drink and dessert but the server did not tell us, we had to read it off the board when we were almost done with our meal. I got water not knowing until then about drink. By the time we asked, the last piece of cheesecake was sold and they were making strawberry shortcake which was dry and came with 5 slices of strawberries and a drop of whipped cream. Wasn’t impressed with the service but they were nice. We were there at one to get something to eat before train ride. We didn’t know they closed from 2-5.

Felt like getting out and going somewhere different. Family run joint that is keeping the doors open in this crazy time. Buffet Friday with chicken fried steak. Legacy Kansas, formerly known as the Brookville Hotel, offers a memorable family-style fried chicken dinner that is considered one of the best experiences in Kansas. The fixed price of $23 allows guests to enjoy home-cooked meals and local history. The restaurant has undergone remodeling and now features traditional decor. Guests have praised the relish options, including cottage cheese, peaches, pickles, cinnamon apples, and cole slaw. The fried chicken and mashed potatoes are highly recommended.
Our party had 16 people including small children. We were able to make reservations on short notice (2 hours). The hostess was accommodating and friendly. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable of the property and history of the hotel. I personally loved the decor! When you say fried chicken, I say go to Brookville! Delicious chicken, mashed potato’s, gravy and biscuits! This place was just good.
K M — Google review
The fried chicken was a bit overrated since it could use some more seasoning, the breast was a little bit dry. At least the breading was well-seasoned. The sides especially the fruits were overrated to since the pears had a slight mealy texture to it. On the bright side, the mashed potatoes and creamed corn were delicious along with the rolls. The cole slaw was a little too sweet. The ice cream however was not very creamy since there were some ice chunks in it. The dining room was well-decorated with late 19th-century era furnishings and decorations. The experience was good since I've came in with an empty stomach, left with my stomach full at the end of the meal including ice cream, and the staff were friendly.

We were extremely pleased with our meal at Brookville Restaurant and TapHouse Bar. The atmosphere is like an old hotel from the 1870s. The menu is sort of like a prix fix. The fried chicken is excellent and includes all of the sides. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. The old hotel rooms on the second floor are really fun to explore and the TapHouse bar is worth another five stars. Really fun and great food.

Been eating at the Bville for over 20 years ! Wonderful and the fried chicken is delicious. Now it is owned by the Munson’s who ran a fabulous steak house in Junction city. All the meat comes from the Munson’s farm. The steak is as great as the chicken. The historic atmosphere is unmatched. There is a historic museum upstairs showing the hotel rooms as they were a century or more ago. The bar tap room has gorgeous murals too. Friendly and quality service. Enjoy!!!

The food was decent and the history is super cool, but the experienced was soured by a very rude employee. I have literally never left a review in my life, but it left such a bad taste in my mouth that I felt inclined to say something. My mom wanted to bring the whole family to experience this restaurant where she’d had a great experience in years past. Our waitress was nice and the man that bussed our tables was very sweet, but the woman who brought us to our table and then rang out our ticket at the end was extremely rude. We tried to pay part cash and part card (it was a large group), but she told us we couldn’t which we said was fine. But then when we wanted to leave a tip in cash (a generous one) she said we were required to tip with the same card payment. After flipping the card reader around to show us the tip options, she reached over and selected the 20% tip option for us. On top of that, the tip wasn’t even calculated based on the subtotal, but the total including tax! While this all was slightly frustrating in itself, the worst part of all was that she was extremely rude and impatient about the entire thing. We would have loved to have left our nice waitress a generous cash tip, but now I just hope none of the tip went to her. She was rude from the moment she showed us to our seats. Ruined the whole experience.

We have eaten at Brookville hotel many times even when they were located at Brookville, KS. This is our first time eating here since the new ownership took over. We live 3 hours away and would either make a special trip out or try to time it when they were open when traveling. We got there when it was opening on Thursday and did not have reservations, They were able to sit us in the dining room. We sat there several minutes before anyone came to our table. Finally, a young man came with water and brought slaw in a bowl with a couple roughly cut peaches and a couple pickles on the side. We asked about cottage cheese that they have previously served but said they no longer offered that. Later the waitress came and brought our chicken and sides and never asked if we wanted more slaw as we had devoured that. The mashed potatoes and gravy were very dry, lumpy and room temperature. I actually thought maybe it was sausage gravy due to the large lumps but was not. The creamed corn was cold but the chicken was hot! We had emptied the bowls and sat there for at least 10 min before she returned and asked us if we wanted anything more?? We thought maybe the food would be warmer but was not! We asked if they had strawberry preserves like we had previously, but she said only on request. We had the "homemade ice cream"---It was maybe homemade, but very crystally and freezer burned. We could have understood poor/slow service if they were busy, but there was only one other party of 4 in the restaurant at the time. We are going to tell our family who have also made the effort to visit Brookville, if they are hungry for fried chicken, we would suggest KFC or Go Chicken Go instead of Brookville.

I used to love stopping at The Brookville when passing through the area. This past experience will be the last. The food was terrible. Service, meh. Do not order the chicken fried steak. It was the worst I’ve ever attempted to eat. The beloved coleslaw, I have no idea what recipe they followed. It wasn’t the same as it’s been consistently over the years. Even the ice cream sucked. I paid way too much to money for this $25 per person meal. The only decent item was the creamed corn. I should have complained. I should have refused to pay for the slop, but I smiled and waved boys, and will never be back.

Pizza Hut is a well-loved chain that offers a delightful array of pizzas, wings, pasta, and an assortment of sides and desserts. While I didn't dine in during my visit, the kindness displayed by the staff truly stood out. My husband and I faced car troubles with our two dogs while parked in their lot. A thoughtful employee brought us cold water for both us and our pups, which was incredibly heartwarming!
Although we did not stop at this restaurant to dine, the kindness we experienced deserves high praise! My husband, 2 dogs and myself experienced car trouble several hours away from our home and used a shady spot in their parking lot to repair our vehicle. A caring young employee came out with cold water for us and our pups! Then a few minutes later a gentleman, identifying himself as an Abilene Neighbor, came out with pizza and pasta! These acts of kindness and generosity turned our whole day around. It speaks volumes about the kind of people in Abilene, KS. And the food was delicious.

We ordered pizza online , pick up drive-through , got to Pizza Hut waited for about 10 mins no one came to the window . Parked went inside still no help for a couple mins then a young lady walked by said someone will be right with us as she walked to the drive-through to help three cars that pulled up. I told her we had been waiting no one helped us so we came in . We still had to wait as she helped other people . Very poor service not sure who trained these people or who the manager is but what a joke .

The customer service and food quality are issues for me. I have ordered here and had pizza that was not fully cooked, ended up throwing it out. I always ask for light marinara sauce and end up with so much it's oozing off the pizza. The same issues persist at a number of places in this area.

The food was extremely fresh. The staff was exceptionally nice and asked how my day was going. It seemed like he genuinely cared too. The location is very clean, including the bathrooms. It feels like a very modern location.

I am truly wowed by this Subway location. As a Subway lover I understand that there is often trouble with the hustle and bustle of the lunch rush as there are usually only two employees in the store at one time. I will say there was a line to the door throughout the entire time I was ordering and ate my food, however the employees were able to keep up and keep the line moving at a reasonable rate. They were still kind and respectful while also being efficient at their jobs which I can respect. Notably one sandwich artist seemed to know several customers by name which I think really increases the quality of the meal. Do note they do not have the veggie pattie at this location if you are from out of town as I am. I don’t see it as much of an issue because most smaller towns don’t yet. Their washrooms were noticeably clean when as well as the rest of the restaurant. I would recommend for you to visit this location, however if you aren’t looking to wait I’d recommend going outside of the lunch rush.

Our first time here. Was a good experience. The 2 guys and the gal working were very nice and working hard. Really enjoyed this place more then our home town subway.

All I wander is why does subway make coupons and when you go to use …” that can’t be used . The next coupons will say what they can be used for “ stop making if costumer’s can’t use them !! I won’t be back if you can’t give me a good deal every so often . My husband wasn’t happy with his sandwich hardly any meat for 15 $ ….the small print on coupons it says excluding the footlong snacks and the beef and garlic roast beef sandwich and show coupons when at store and not valid in Ak and HI. Dates store use / drive Thur .fees for and taxes. Nothing about what they told me !

Ordered online never got my receipt showed up the staff never got my order and couldn’t issue me a refund after waiting for 20 min. Poorly trained staff
Tiffany N — Google review
Drive thru only: I ordered 2 sandwiches and a drink. Not rocket science or at least I thought. 35 minutes to get my order. It took 30 minutes to get my sandwiches and 5 minutes for my drink. One of the sandwiches was a meatball. The issue is on a foot long I had four small meatballs. I had 2 on either side. The steak sandwich was virtually empty as well. They handed me my sandwiches then closed the window and ignored me for 5 minutes. When they finally came back to the window with a big attitude, I asked for my drink and was met with an aggravated sigh. Feeling like this time I paid for the attitude and the sandwiches were just the bonus. If the lobby is closed go somewhere else!! It will be faster and you may get what you paid for.

Arby's is a beloved fast-food chain that has carved out a niche for itself with its signature roast beef sandwiches, alongside an array of hot and cold options, crispy fries, and delightful shakes. During my travels, I stumbled upon an Arby’s that not only served delicious food but also boasted a warm and inviting atmosphere thanks to its friendly staff. The employees were incredibly pleasant, making me wish I could linger longer during my road trip.
What a lovely atmosphere and workers. We wanted to divert our road trip just to stay a while because they were so nice and pleasant. As for the food, yummy. Typical Arby's , although the first one I've seen with gyros. Food also came out super fast. 10/10. Give those girls a raise!

I work graveyard shift in Abilene about 6 minutes from the store. 3 of us at work decided to use the online menu to order food for our lunch which is at 10pm. We ordered nothing out of the ordinary, just 3 combo meals and replaced one of the drinks with a Jamocha shake. I was informed our order would be ready at 9:50pm, at the drive through. I arrived at 9:55pm, there was one other vehicle in front of me at the speaker. After sitting there for 5 minutes I finally heard an order being taken, after more conversation, it turned out that the workers inside knew the person in front of me and proceeded to be very chatty. Finally I was able to approach the speaker to let them know I was there to pick up my online order, at this point it was just after 10pm. I pull up to the window and the previous vehicle was still at the window , so I waited and I waited. The employee finally handed them their bag of food, which was just a normal sized Arby's bag. The person then asked for more sauces, the whole time being chatty with the employees since they were all "friends". I finally was able to approach the window and pick up my food and the time was 10:26 pm. I asked the employee what the deal was and he played dumb. I asked if the food was ready at 9:50 pm and he said yes. I said I'm sure its nice a fresh 36 minutes after it's been made. He said I should have been there earlier, I said I have been here since 9:55 and it's now 10:26. He said the car before me ordered a ton of food and that's why it took so long. I saw how much food was handed to the customer in front of me and it was nowhere near as much as mine since I was buying for 3 people. He just kind of laughed it off and said tough luck. After returning to work with the food, obviously all the sandwiches were cold, fries cold, shake melted, the shake was supposed to be Jamocha and they gave us Vanilla so they even got that wrong. My manager called and spoke to the manager on shift, Jennifer, who basically lied to her and said she watched me pull in and saw what time it was and it was our fault for not being there on time. Then I called and spoke with Jennifer, she denied saying that she watched me pull up and stated that she spoke to me in the speaker at the time she told my manager she watched me pull up. I don't appreciate being lied to first of all and is it too much to ask for people to do their jobs and put your friends aside for a minute so you can do your job? I don't blame Arby's but Jennifer get zero stars for lying and not looking out for the customers best interest. Who turns an issue around on a customer making the issue their fault?? I have never heard of that in the hospitality business.

I got a cheeseburger here! I went through the drive through so I can't say much about the inside. The server at the window was polite and and expedient in her service. I had never had their burger before but I highly recommend it! It was filling and I didn't need the curly fries...
Roni H — Google review
So first off they messed up my order by not giving me one of my sandwiches and then they made my burger upside down I have about 10 stains from it. Customer service was good until they messed up my burger. And not giving me my other one.
Andrew H — Google review
We have always had very good food at all Arby’s and this was no exception. The Arby’s “shared” the building with a 24/7 Travel Store (truck stop) so bathroom is in the gas station part. Arby’s was clean, a bit cold with the a/c, and staff were friendly.
Noel S — Google review
I frequently come here and the people are ALWAYS nice. The workers always seem to get along, and always feel safe to stop in, even if it's just to get a shake.

They got the order totally wrong. We ordered a regular what we received was a beef and cheddar with cheese covering the inside and outside of the sandwich. We also received a spicy chicken but ordered a grilled chicken

Sonic Drive-In is a fast-food eatery that offers classic burger and fries fare with a nostalgic ambiance, complete with traditional drive-in service. In the past, patrons encountered lengthy wait times of over half an hour, leading some to consider leaving despite having already settled their bill. However, on this occasion, the service was notably efficient. Notably, amidst the sweltering summer heat, customers particularly enjoyed the invigorating and revitalizing diet cranberry limeade offered by Sonic Drive-In.
Got the new double smash Burger. I was so impressed. I gave him a five star review. I didn't used to like their burgers at all. This is legit

***update*** After speaking with a manager I tried to the give this place another try and here I am again. Get to the drive through give my order and the person on the other end ask me for it again. I repeat it only to get to the window and only end up with 2 drinks when I ordered 3, I try and tell them I think they got my ordered wrong they give me another drink and walk off without trying to figure out what was wrong. Sure enough I only end up with a portion of the food I ordered. Told them again, this was not correct, they still didn't listen. Not worth the headache. I would not recommend this location to anyone. The people that work here are extremely rude, and I do mean EXTREMELY RUDE!
Nature L — Google review
The girl who took our order over the intercom from the park and eat thought it was funny to pretend she could not hear me. She made me repeat myself 3 times for each of 4 orders. I guess she was not busy enough so she felt the need to play games with the microphone/speaker? Our food arrived very fast and I told our server about the girl taking the order and she apologized but did not seem surprised that this was happening. Then, the final blow. The food was awful. Stale buns on sandwiches, old cold fries, the beef was also substandard and the chicken strips weren't fit for fish bait. This place is a dumpster fire.

It seems like everytime i go to this location that my order is never right. Sad thing is I have went through the drive thru several times and can hear the manager screaming at the employees. When is this location gonna get their crap together??
Chelle A — Google review
I sat in a stall for 30 minutes while car after car went through the drive through. All to get my order which was supposed to be a five piece not four and there was no sauce. Then I ordered a med peanut butter shake and received a small! Also I was there at 3pm ordered two ocean waters and it was 3.10 I went to hand the drive through kid 5.10 and he jerked it out of my hand so much he dropped the .10. Come yall get your act together!!

If I could give negative starts I would!! Just stopped for a snack and was given the worst meal of my life! So over burnt and Not fit for human consumption! Is this what we will now come to expect from these restaurants?? Over priced, unwholesome waste of time and money? Where is the training, the pride in having a good work ethic and being good to loyal customers!! I will not be returning, EVER!

It was okay until I drove away and realized 2 of my 4 drinks were red-colored watered (no flavor). Too bad I was already a few miles on the interstate down the road, I would have gone back. Bathroom was out of service, so I had to cross the street. And the screen to pay was broken.

If you're on the lookout for a satisfying fast-food experience, Hardee’s is definitely worth a visit. This popular chain specializes in mouthwatering fried chicken and hearty burgers that are sure to hit the spot. Many patrons rave about the friendly service and clean environment, making it an enjoyable place to grab a bite. The staff consistently gets orders right, ensuring that your meal is just as delicious as you expect it to be. Plus, with reasonable prices, you can indulge without breaking the bank!
Was nice to deal with friendly folks in a clean atmosphere. They got my order correct and the food was as expected, yummy. Also the pricing was very reasonable. Good job you guys and thank you for the excellent service, clean facility and tasty food. I highly recommend this fast food restaurant.

Ordered food through the drive thru. French fries were burnt. Cheese burger was cold. Bacon Cheese burger had no bacon and was cold. Did not know how bad the food was until we were headed down the highway. Tried to get our money back on the way back home, but they wouldn't give our money back. $30 wasted!
Debbie A — Google review
Worst experience with a Hardee's EVER. The woman who took my order had zero interest in doing her job and did not tell me they were out of biscuits until after I had paid. She used the excuse of "we only have about 15 minutes before we start lunch and it is not worth it." I may have understood, however, the biscuits are made in house and 2/3 of the breakfast menu includes biscuits. Very disappointed, especially after driving 45 minutes from Fort Riley just for the Ultimate Omelete Combo Sandwich. I ordered 3 of them, and have attached photos of them to show the lack of quality.
Brad U — Google review
Quality was ok, although it may be the product versus the preparation. Didn't custom order, but I had to pull up and wait for a bit, with no one else in the drive thru, and didn't appear busy at all. I sure miss specialized burgers and curly fries. Both were staples of Hardee's previously and sorely needed.
Steven T — Google review
I just wanted some decent chicken tenders. I ordered three and two of the three had a strand of gristle running through them that was tough to chew. I didn’t get to the third one because of the piece of hair in the bottom of the box (shown in the photos). Gross. Why did I bother? 🤮
Scott S — Google review
First, we sat in the drive thru for 5 minutes and no one came over the intercom, so we started to leave. Another car pulled up and we figured we would try again and saw a young lady in the drive thru window. Got back in line. My husband and I both ordered the hot ham and cheese combo meal, only to be told that I could not get a pink lemonade with my combo. Okay, I'll just do a sandwich and the drink. My husband did the same, but with a vanilla milkshake. The girl on the intercom was incredibly rude. We go up to pay, she was very disrespectful, tossed out food at us, and no receipt. My sandwich barely had any ham and looked like a child's sandwich. My husband's sandwich was normal sized. Seriously, do better Hardee's.
Nichole M — Google review
This is to Violet Ash,if Hardee's is so bad then why do you go there daily? I am a truck driver and I go to Love's and Hardee's almost every day. I have never been treated rude or had anyone disrespect me or anyone else I know. And I have never had to wait long for my food. Been going the for over 5 years. So if you're not happy with the personal at Hardee's go somewhere else. And leave the great people alone at Hardee's!! Sounds like someone just wants free food. Kendra the lady you are calling a liar, mean, and uncaring, is the best manager and very good for Hardee's. So learn how to cook then you won't have to go to Hardee's. Thanks Jennifer Young

Champs Chicken is a delightful spot nestled within the Country Mart grocery store, making it a convenient stop for those craving delicious fried chicken. While I didn't get the chance to sample their offerings personally, I've heard rave reviews about their wonderful chicken and great prices. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
Did not actually eat here. Somehow, I accidentally left a three-star review while googling the location. Change to five star so it's to not impact the business negatively. (Wishing Google would just put in a way to delete the review, since it was just a tapo)
Austyn N — Google review
The food was just bland, the chicken was small, no kick or season in anything. Zero salt or pepper in the chicken, potatoes, white gravy, nothing. Most tasty thing was dipping my chicken strips in the brown gravy. Been awhile since I ordered it and wasn't impressed. Champs chicken should be called cheaps chicken. 🤷🏾‍♂️
GeronimO E — Google review
This was the worst Champs chicken that I’ve ever had. The chicken strips were tough and dry, the fries inedible. That was the most expensive and worst food I’ve ever eaten. It had to have sat all day. My recommendation is for Champs to take their name off this deli, before this grocery store tanks it.
