Glacial Till Vineyard & Winery is an excellent choice for a romantic evening in Ashland, Nebraska. The tasting area blends modern and traditional elements, featuring original brickwork that creates a charming ambiance. Enjoy panoramic views from the rooftop patio while savoring their diverse selection of wines. Each wine is both smooth and full of flavor, ensuring a delightful experience. Enhance your tasting with their delectable charcuterie board, which pairs perfectly with the wines on offer.
I’ve always had wonderful experiences at Glacial Till, but today reminded me why I need to finally leave a review. We visited with a group of small business owners for lunch, and everything was lovely. The food was delicious, the seating was comfortable for our whole group, and the service was warm and welcoming. Finishing the meal with their cider was the perfect touch to a day of working together. Highly recommend!

My husband has been purchasing cidar from here for a few years now, but this was the first time we actually stayed and sat down and enjoyed some drinks and got something to eat inside the restaurant. We had the flight, which was fun, and we shared a charcuterie board that we both really liked. We want to go back again some time.
Debra W — Google review
I never knew that I loved cider: I do now. This was such a cool place. We got a couple of flights just to see the variety of ciders.....they all rocked. We got some pull apart bread thing that was buttery and cheesy. That was fantastic. Spent an hour drinking cider, eating cheesy, buttery bread with family in a cool, historic building and enjoyed every second. I will definately go back.

My wife and I have been longtime customers but won’t be coming back. I am not the kind of person who usually leaves negative reviews but felt compelled to do so after my experience today- so here goes- the food and drinks are great, wine is subpar, but the hospitality is absolutely lacking. The management treats their customers with complete disrespect- not a warm and friendly atmosphere. The manager went as far as interrupting our lunch on the patio, accusing my wife of drinking alcohol without an id, when she did in fact have the id. She must have been attempting to watch us eat via CCTV because there was nobody else on the top floor or outside. Upon presenting the id, we were met with a disrespectful remark and look. In summary, horribly intrusive & inhospitable - not the way to treat customers. This is not the first time management has rubbed us the wrong way in recent years. Do not support this place and the way they treat their customers. It’s a shame because their cider is great and there is a lot of potential. Management is the issue, all of the staff is very friendly and kind upon walking in.
Rick H — Google review
I didn’t think I had my ID on me when we walked in, so I didn’t bother ordering a drink. I understand and respect the importance of checking IDs as I worked in the service industry as a bartender myself. I ordered food with my husband and he got a drink. We ate upstairs on the patio, and while I was eating my salad a woman I assume is the manager approached me and accused me of drinking my husbands cider. I was mid-eating and I hadn’t even had a sip of his cider, so her intruding on our lunch and accusing me of drinking without an id was completely out of line. Turns out, my id had been in my husbands wallet all along. He approached this woman to show her I did have an id, and she scoffed at him and did not apologize for her accusation. I am an Ashland resident and have been a loyal customer to this tasting room for 8 years. I come back for the cider, but time after time the poor customer service from this particular manager astounds me. From being interrupted to wrap things up when I am there an hour before close, to trying to plan an event here and being met with an unreasonable quote of $3,000 for an hour of patio space - not including drinks, food, or service. This isn’t the way you treat your customers, let alone people.
Alexa N — Google review
Flew into Ashland for a little "liquid spellwork" and this place did not disappoint. The original cider reminds me of one of my favorite potions. I cackled after I finished my glass. The place is also cozy -- firepits and mostly friendly mortals pretending they did not just see a witch land outside. Perfect for plotting, potion development, and hexing your ex under the influence of fine fermentation. Five bubbling cauldrons of children out of five!
Wanda W — Google review
Excellent, friendly bar tenders! The Stilton Wedge was delicious and is the perfect light meal for a very hot summer day. Late Friday afternoon, the restaurant was fairly busy so I sat on the rooftop patio to enjoy fresh air, sunshine and a quieter atmosphere. Chambourcin was a good red.
Elizabeth J — Google review
This wonderful spot for cider, wine, and food has significantly elevated this small main street in Ashland. The cider choices are excellent - be sure to get a taster tray of four different ones to try. Wines are good red and whites, similar to other nearby Nebraska wineries, and are very drinkable. The kitchen puts out some excellent upscale food options. The loaded sweet potato was exceptional.

I was extremely impressed by Cellar 426 Winery. The establishment offers spacious indoor and outdoor areas that are perfect for wine enthusiasts. Their wide range of dry reds and sweeter wines is exceptional, with the Blaze being particularly noteworthy. The staff, including Jennifer, provides excellent customer service by offering valuable suggestions for local dining and sightseeing options to out-of-town visitors. Live music events add an enjoyable ambiance, enhancing the experience further.
Best winery, best wines, best staff! Cellar 426 is a stunning winery. Beautiful building and beautiful views. They have a wide selection of award winning wines, many delicious food choices (charcuterie boards, meat, cheese and fruit plates, bread and cheese spread and cheesecake!), a few different ciders and a small beer selection from a local brewery. If you are a wine lover you are sure to find something (or a few) to tantalize your taste buds! The deck and patio are spacious and offer beautiful views. It’s the perfect place for date nights or just meeting up with friends and/or family for a peaceful night out. In the summer (June through mid-August) they have live music outdoor every Saturday evening and the ticket price is very reasonable (take advantage of their wonderful seating or bring your own chairs/blankets and sit on the lawn). They also book local food trucks during the summer music events to give you additional food choices. You will find a great selection of wine enthusiast gift items, apparel, etc.

I love my wine, and this place doesn’t disappoint. The atmosphere is chill, and everything is very well kept. The bathrooms are clean and smell nice, which is always a plus. But the wine? AMAZING. So much flavor! It’s a really awesome spot to sit back, sip wine, and listen to music. Also, affordable!!!! Big fan!

Enjoyed our visit there. Good selection of wine. Friendly and attentive service. Very charming. Some good snack options. I also enjoyed the Berry Cider! Will definitely go back when the weather gets warmer to enjoy their outdoor seating area.

My wife and I really enjoyed visiting here and beautiful scenery. The wine flights were super tasty and she loved spinning the wheel. Needless to say we walked out of there with our fair share of wine! Without a doubt will be back.
Morgan D — Google review
Lovely venue, lovely staff, and delicious wine. I highly recommend the flights, the white peach sangria, and the Apollo's Blend. Charcuterie plate is pretty darn good too.
Heidi G — Google review
Warm & inviting establishment with a large variety of food and beverage options with reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly and customer centric throughout the entire experience - even when it was well past closing time.
Braedyn B — Google review
We have been super-fans of Cellar 426 for almost 10 years now. We love the staff, the wine, the cider, the food, and the ambiance. Although we love all their wines, here are our top recommendations: for red wine lovers, order Blaze. For white wine lovers, order Sunflower White. Over the winter you have to order their mulled wine (and red wine fans will enjoy Winter Spice which is the base of the mulled wine). They have live music during the summer and ample outdoor space to relax - along with beautiful hillside views. There is a fireplace inside and plenty of seating for the winter months. They have food specials like excellent cheesecake of various types. For main food items, order a #6 - their charcuterie board! We have tried all their food items and they are all awesome. They prepare their food on-site with great presentation and taste, and don't just give you pre-packaged food. They also offer regional hard cider and beer choices. The staff is friendly and fun (WE LOVE YOU, JENNIFER!) so Enjoy!

We like to stop here on our way down I-80 for some light lunch and a pleasant diversion from the road. The Apollo's Blend is our favorite! Great space and a great spot to get off the road for a while (and take some bottles for home!)

Institution offering air & spacecraft exhibits, plus rides, a planetarium & kid-friendly activities.
The museum is dedicated to the Air Force's strategic air command. They have two large hangers with aircraft on display from WWII to the modern B1 Lance. There appears to be events held year round, such as car shows in partnership with the American Speed Museum. We missed the show. If you are going here, plan on spending 2 to 3 hours to see the different displays. There are also some interactive displays for the younger members of the group. There are some simulators in hanger A for the kids to have a unique experience. A giftshop and cafe round out the facilities you can check out on your visit. Hopefully, the museum can add another hanger to spread the planes out so you can see them better.
Adam C — Google review
The museum is such an amazing tribute to America and how far we’ve advanced in the airspace. Wonderful visit from start to finish. We were visiting Omaha from out of state, and while we have air museums back home, this was a whole new level. The staff was absolutely wonderful and so friendly. We will definitely be back!
Sarah P — Google review
Great museum that tells the story of the Strategic Air Command. There aren’t too many places where you want walk around the mighty B-36 Peacemaker. There are lots of different types of aircraft to view including a SR-71 Blackbird and B-58 Hustler. Lots of free parking. There is a discount on admission for seniors and military. Easy drive from Lincoln or Omaha.
Gregory W — Google review
Great air and space museum! For dads and kids! More aircraft than before! A very kid friendly plane fan destination! A space themed restroom with space music and LED stars on the ceiling, with arcade game outside. Movies, cafe, planetarium, and planes, planes, planes! Easily rivals the Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum at Dulles Airport in Virginia! Of note are the B-29, B-25, B-17 from WW II. Very huge B-52 and B-36 Peacemaker! Many other special aircraft. Plenty of activities for kids. Could spend from 1 hr to all day here.
T. W — Google review
Amazing experience coming to this museum. Enjoyed every minute, also for kids is a recommended place to visit. They have 2 big hangars and you can see many different types of airplanes, Air Force planes and helicopters.
Daniel P — Google review
Really cool experience! Great exhibits, though some seemed a bit aged. The planes are really what we went here for, and there’s a ton to look at. Very very fun!
Tyler P — Google review
The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum is an outstanding place to visit in Nebraska! The exhibits are very well curated and honor the service and sacrifice of our military heroes. The tribute area with photos and banners of veterans is both powerful and humbling — it really connects history with the people who lived it it really feels like walking through aviation history. Each plane tells a story, and the museum does a great job of preserving and showcasing them
VENKATA Y — Google review
Maybe it was the car show going on at the same time that made it a bit too confusing and overwhelming, not sure! The airplanes on display and the information throughout the 2 floors of the museum is a lot to take in already so adding another "museum" of sorts made it hard to take it all in! There's a ton of history to absorb and even some fun simulators and VR adventures to go on. The blow up Planetarium show should definitely be included in admission price, it's not worth it's own ticket! If you enjoy military aircraft, this is probably the most comprehensive museum out there!

Nature & Parks
Year-round cabins & recreation such as hiking & sports on 690 acres, plus a restaurant with a view.
We had a women's retreat at Mahoney in the Governors Row Cabins. Each cabin had 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It was absolutely PERFECT for the retreat. Everything we needed was provided in the full kitchen, and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was plenty of space for morning yoga and facials! We didn't take pictures to respect the privacy of the ladies, but all 13 of us had an amazing time, although it was winter and there were no outside activities! We didn't need them. Mahoney and the Governors Row Cabins are great any time of year! (We did have two cabins, so activities could happen simultaneously!)
Leontyne E — Google review
Came to do many things, but overcast skies caused us to horseback riding, putt-putt golf and time on the playground. The horseback riding was fine. The wranglers decided not to adjust the sturr-up straps, as an adult this ended up being g quite a issue. Not comfortable. The putt-putt was fun and liked the stands with information about things to do in Mahoney & other state parks. The park was fun for the kids, the bathrooms were a bit in need of cleaning.
Patricia W — Google review
Nice amenities and enjoyed lodge until ants decided to invade and bite. Kids enjoyed climbing wall and water park, but we're disappointed with fishing.
Renae W — Google review
We have rented a cabin for two days. The nature is beautiful. Lake view. The only concern is the lighting , total lack outside of the cabin and throughout the park. Also the cabin front door was all covered with spider nets. Otherwise it’s great for kids, there is a playground in a walking distance, horse riding etc
Dinora I — Google review
I rented a cabin and really enjoyed it! As someone else had mentioned, it is helpful to bring your own kitchen faves. The kitchen is stocked, but pan choices were slim, no kitchen towels, and coffee cups were plastic. The cabin itself was great with more than adequate furniture, bedding, pillows, BR towels, and blankets. Hiking trails were throughout the park. Many things were closed after Labor Day. I didn't mind because it was quiet.
Joni L — Google review
We camped with full hookups, and appreciated the fresh water to fill our 5th wheel. The grandkids visited, and we enjoyed pedal boating, mini-golf, and fishing. Ate at the restaurant, and they had a burger, fries, and beer for $10.99. Can't beat that price..
Tammy S — Google review
The park itself is wonderful! Very pretty and lots of family friendly things to do. We enjoyed the park. The cabins are not good. Very old and dirty. Ours hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned. The bathroom was gross and you wouldn't want to walk barefoot on the carpet. It was better than a tent, but definitely needs improvement.

High ropes course
The Go Ape Zipline and Adventure Park is an exciting venue where groups can explore the forest canopy through a challenging treetop rope course. This adventure activity chain offers a 2 to 3 hour course with six thrilling zip-lines that keep participants engaged. The $50/per fee is definitely worth it for this safe and fun experience.
This was our first time at Go Ape at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park. We did the Treetop Journey. My kids are ages 6, 6 & 8.. they loved it!!! (My littlest is 44" and was the perfect height). My kids are super adventurous and this was right up their alley! They loved everything even down to wearing their climbing gloves (we bought these there for $10 a piece - now we will have these for future tree climbs). My daughter (6) was a bit scared of the height at first and needed encouragement, but after she did the first course she couldn't wait to go on the next and was so proud of herself. The zip line was not super long and only 25 ft up, so it was perfect and not too scary for little ones. My 8 year old is very tall for his age, but he had to duck for quite a few obstacles as they are designed to work for minimum height 39" - but he still loved it! Me and my husband thoroughly enjoyed it as well! Kids were already asking to go back the next day! I can't say enough amazing things about the staff/trainers... they were the best!! Very thorough and wonderful with the kids! It takes about 15 minutes to get checked in and do some quick training, so I would recommend arriving at least 15 mins ahead of your scheduled time. The 3 courses in the 'Treetop Journey' take about 1 hour to complete, depending on how quickly you maneuver through it. They offered water between courses and gave the kids stickers and certificates once they had finished all 3. We will most definitely be back!!! Also, so much to do at Mahoney... so they can explore, pet the horses, go on the playground, etc. before or after your Go Ape Adventure. We will also be excited to do the "Treetop Adventure" (min height 55") once the kids are all tall enough! Great experience!
Jessica R — Google review
We have visited this location three times. We have done the full course and the smaller one. Both are great. Making reservations is easy. The staff is very helpful. I've watched them take care of nervous or scared ustomers. Not only did my family have fun every time, but I always felt safe.
Jon H — Google review
Amazing experience! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful — definitely an adventurous and unforgettable experience I can now cross off my bucket list. I’ll absolutely be coming back for more family fun!
Jesse L — Google review
Had a great time. Lines seemed to move quickly. Visited with 3 11 year olds. 2 15 year olds. And 2 adults (not so in shape). Every skill level could keep up! Staff was mostly friendly. Challenging but not too hard. Recommend!
Ashley J — Google review
This was pretty cool place. Going from 1 section to another enjoying the beautiful greenery was worth the drive. I would suggest going first in the group if you think you can move pretty fast through the course that way you don’t have to constantly wait for people in front of you.
Nasteho — Google review
This is a great adventure and completely worth the money. We had a blast! Wear comfortable clothes, be prepared for bit of a work out and a whole lot of fun! I am afraid of heights but honestly so focused on the course that I didn't worry. It's safe, fun and the Zip lines are a great reward after the obstacle courses.
Charissa K — Google review
If you want a break away from the day to day an easy call will keep your zeal for adventure peaking. Invigorating fun that will tease your senses. A lift to the top of trees on platforms that with a breeze makes you sway with the excitement that you can once again taste the smell of nature. Breaking away from the mundane, with a clip and a zip you feel like you are on top of the world, again!

Fantastic experience. Quickly has become a new favorite course - absolutely beautiful track and phenomenal experience. Caleb (pro) provided a wonderful experience and Allison was a fantastic server after the round. Attentive and friendly, and made for a great time while we enjoyed the new clubhouse. Bri was also incredibly friendly and accommodating in the pro shop. Give this place a run!
Elliott F — Google review
Great course and almost always in pristine shape. Prices are getting a bit steep for my recreational golf budget. You'll pay north of $80 for weekend riding and easily over a hundred bill if you do any food/drink. A good destination course but won't be in my common rotation.
Will C — Google review
This was my first time back since Quarry closed for the renovation and I was not let down. Course Conditions: Considering all of the renovation work, I was pleasantly surprised at the shape of the course. The greens were pure, the tee boxes and fairways were mostly immaculate (minus a few patches here and there). The bunkers have been refined and have high quality sand. It rivals most private courses in this regard. Renovations: Most holes were not changed significantly, simply refined (slightly tweaked greens, fairways, bunker edging, etc). All of these refinements make the course play better. The few that did change more significantly (e.g., #5, #9, #14) changed for the better. The range has also been expanded and is much nicer than before. The clubhouse and patio are top notch and the halfway houses are a great addition. Misc: Quarry did the little things right. They spaced out tee times, personalized name cards with your time on the cart, have new carts, provide Quarry Oaks tees in the cart, have pyramids of titelist range balls on the range, have new tee markers, etc. Overall had a great experience and I looked forward to playing a few times a year.
Nick K — Google review
$160 is a lot for a round of golf in Nebraska, but you're not paying just for the golf here. The tee times are spaced out far enough that you're not going to get stacked up on a hole. Even though the day was booked out our round took ~3 hours and we only saw one other group the whole time. The amount of trees removed in the renovation made for some even better views and will help a ton with air movement during the summer. The club house looks great and every member of the staff we interacted with was great too.
Nate K — Google review
The course is a ton of fun and in great shape. The new club house and comfort stations are very nice as well. This place is a gem!
Sammy Z — Google review
Overall I was pretty disappointed considering it's been closed for 2 years. I thought the course would be much more renovated than it actually was. Basically the same layout. A few wider fairways and some new sand. Beautiful clubhouse but I can't justify paying double of what it was just for a nice clubhouse. Tee boxes had some burns, #7 fairway appeared to be seeded fairly recently and still growing grass, greens were probably in the best shape. Frankly, I expected better considering how long it was closed. Paying double for a nice cart and a new clubhouse is not what I expected.
Scott E — Google review
Quarry Oaks remains a great golf course, though at the $160 price point it now must be compared to a whole other tier of golf courses, and for me it fell short. After being closed for 2 years and only opening play a month ago AND having optimal growing conditions this spring, I expected excellent golf conditions. What I got was a good conditions. I'd say the course is in above average shape, but for that price it should be excellent. The green turf felt thin and not very thick/deep, being able to see the black soil underneath on most every hole. It also felt like the speeds on the different greens were quite different. The fairways too were above average but some had noticeable patches. Again, above average conditions, but for the price I expect excellent. The tee box on 17 was in horrible shape but most were good. The new clubhouse is beautiful and very nice, but is probably at the bottom of my priorities for any golf course. The new snack shacks on each 9 are very nice and a great additions as are the new golf carts. It felt like this was their area of focus, more than the golfing conditions and that is why the I'm not sure I will see myself returning in the near term. Also- $15 for a hot dog and fries/chips?!
Chase T — Google review
They really don't want juniors to play here. Course is fantastic and I love the remodel. Have a jr rate or quit charging grandpa an additional 50 bucks to take their grandson out to play that will drive the cart that's included in the round. You won't let a junior drive a cart if they are not 16 for "liability reasons" but you'll serve an adult as much booze as they want and drive the cart. Just have a jr rate without a cart. Give gramps the option to walk. If he can, let him drive the cart without an additional 50 bucks. This seems gross.

The golf course at Iron Horse Golf Club offers a stunning layout and breathtaking views. The young woman working in the pro shop expressed her passion for her job, which was evident in the excellent service she provided to those who came for their tee times. The bar staff were also friendly and attentive, ensuring guests were well taken care of. Employees out on the course were welcoming as well. Although not cheap, the cost is justified by the quality of the experience.
Brian and his crew are great people. Challenging course, target golf, and I loved the layout. It is well worth the visit. Greens and bunkers are pristine.

Absolute joke of a Golf course. The guy in the clubhouse named Scott is an extremely rude person. We were talked to on the course 3 separate times about pace of play and we were pushed up on the group in front of us waiting every tee box for 10+ minutes. Nobody was behind us and we weren't slowing any groups down. The whole 4 some are sub 10 handicaps, we're not slow golfers. These guys are on anabsolute power trip and they keep blaming "homeowners" that live on the course that are complaining about pace of play. I've played hundreds of rounds around the Midwest and never experienced a staff like this. One exception would be one of the guys named Greg. Greg was awesome! He was kind and chatted to our group for a while about Nebraska football. Greg was aweomse but the rest of the staff is not great. Stay away from this course and play others in the area. Recent reviews echo my same complaint. Don't recommend!

Go to Quarry Oaks for a much better experience. We've always enjoyed playing the course and we do disregard some of the shorter and strange holes the course lays out. Unfortunately we probably played our last round there today. A ranger approached our group to explain very nicely that the clubhouse tracking indicated a full hole open in front of us and to pick up the pace even though we had no one directly pushing from behind. Five minutes later on the next 16th tee box we see the group in front of us and then have to wait to tee off on the next hole. We finished in 4 hours and 12 minutes. This should have never happened. Let the on course rangers handle this and quit trying to "interpret" your club house readings. $360 bucks for this BS. Glad to take all of our business elsewhere. Note: It's clear after reading various reviews that this is standard operating procedure for groups that include females. They do give a nice clear plastic bag to be used as "your cooler" on the course. What a joke of a operation.

Great use of elevation to make an otherwise open and flat course in Omaha pretty nice. Grounds are well kept and the staff at the clubhouse is always nice. It's not too challenging so anyone can play here and not get too frustrated. There is some water on a couple holes, but that's what makes it fun!

It's a challenging course with some great views. The warm-up mats are a nice touch. I wish more courses would do that rather than have no range at all. I have a slice, I had to think more technically. I only used my driver a handful of times, opting instead for a 4h or 5i. It's a fun course.

I haven't played Iron Horse in many years, but after playing the course last month for the second time, I forgot what a beautiful, well maintained, very affordable, and playable course Iron Horse is. I only make it back to the area once or twice a year. I rank Iron Horse as one of the best golf courses I have ever played.

After a 5 minute how to keep the pace going speech. They don't allow outside beverages or cooler. They don't tell you that until you're at the first hole. Then say you can buy shooters when the drink cart makes its way around to then find out they don't carry what you want. Won't go back. For $75, it's a rip-off. Go to the one down the street it's half the price with better service.

Immensely enjoyed our visit to this gallery and our chat with the owner. A wide variety of paintings (most are by the owner, a retired art teacher) as well as other art forms. A great place to browse, just to view or to acquire one, as we did. Prices seemed reasonable.

Willow Point Gallery is a unique art space showcasing the works of artist Gene Roncka, with a focus on Nebraska's history, wildlife, and natural landscapes. Visitors are treated to a serene diorama featuring stuffed game animals, water features, and twinkling star lights that create a calming atmosphere. The gallery also offers quaint sitting areas and an array of beautiful artwork for visitors to enjoy. Additionally, guests have the opportunity to meet and visit with Mr. Rocha himself.
Decided to explore Ashland with a friend and we stumbled into the coolest gallery ever. Having been to many art galleries, this is perhaps the fascinating one I've had the pleasure of visiting. The taxidermy collection was such a sight, and the art of local places and animals were lovely, too. 🦌

This place exceeded my expectations. I thought I would be walking into a typical art gallery with various pictures and artwork displayed. Instead, I stood in awe as I looked at the serene diorama with various stuffed game animals. There was a water feature and twinkling star lights. The atmosphere was very calming and peaceful. As I exlored the rest of the place, I sawn several quaint sitting areas and lots of beautiful artwork. I would definitely recommend checking this place out for yourself.

Ashland is fortunate to have such a fine shoppe in its downtown. You can purchase a painting for a range of prices, have something framed, or just browse. They have spared nothing in creating a most attractive gallery.
