We randomly went in here as we felt tired after walking around in Ayuththaya. The food and drinks were awesome. In addition they were prepared artfully in a unique way. The prices are very reasonable but the food portion size is really small. But then again this seems to be the standard portion size in Thailand. The food did taste good and fresh. The service was excellent and the staff was extremely helpful with ordering. The atmosphere is very unique and welcoming. There weren't many guests when we went in but there were a few tourists just like us. I would definitely recommend stopping by here if you are in Ayuththaya.

In my personal opinion they have the best Tom Yum soup in Ayutthaya and Bangkok. Their soup always attracted me to come again when im back in the ancient city. Love it!

Amazing location as you’re right opposite one of the temples of Ayutthaya. Also had the loveliest staff and a great selection of both Thai and western food. Has both indoor and outdoor seating too, which is a huge plus.

They have amazing coffee & Matcha tea - iced or not. We enjoyed breakfast. I can highly recommend to try the rice soup 🍲 Bonus: very clean bathrooms!

Excellent Thai Western fusion style cuisine with a little kick. Really enjoyed the food here. Dined with a group of eight, sharing dishes, and everyone of the items we had bursted with flavor. Desserts were also great, and the outside view of the river gave the place s nice ambience. Great stuff!

Perfect spot for a quick break! While many come for a full meal, I stopped by for a short rest and loved the relaxing vibe. The coffee is excellent, and the summer roll—made with soft, house-made milk bread and Ayutthaya River prawns—is a must-try. Lots of parking available, which made the visit super convenient. Highly recommended!

I recently visited The Summer House, a cozy restaurant near the river and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and authenticity of dessert. Especially truffle tart was crisp and flavorful, adding just the right amount of saltiness and texture to each bite.

Went there for a cup of coffee as I admire the coffee beans that are roasted in-house. Rum Resin Latte was great as always. However, it was quite surprising for me that they had fewer choices of coffee beans compared with their shops in Bangkok. However, the location by the river answers all what’s missing.

When in Ayudhya the place to go for a meal or snacks is The Summer House. Beautifully located by the Riverside the restaurant provides a huge menu of savory and sweets.

A nice coffee shop, well, a place with lots of drink choices and typical Thai desserts and twisted ones! The drinks we ordered tasted alright to great! We picked up the typical Thai desserts to try and they were good. Cozy but get a bit busy.

There are many options of Vegetarian menu. I had Spicy glass noodle salad with Tofu ( It wasn't in vegetarian menu, so I asked staff to change from ground pork and shrimps to be vegetarian, she was kind and suggested me change it to be tofu. Very kind of her, and I had Green curry with Tofu, Both of them were delicious. The view was amazing as the restaurant is located in front of Wat Rachaburana 😊

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food in this restaurant given that it seems to mainly cater for tourists. The rice with pineapple was delicious and the food was quite reasonably priced. My only criticism would be the number of flies, but otherwise top marks.

Great little spot to grab a meal after visiting the ruins throughout the city. Very relaxing atmosphere. I really enjoyed the pork and eggplant dish that I got. So simple, yet full of flavor! There's a cute little cat that roams around the restaurant, too.

Delicious food. It's family-run business. They are very friendly. The prices are really decent. They are really accommodating. I'm vegan. Instead of the eggs, they proposed me to have tofu. They completely understand the difference between vegetarian and vegan. I completely recommend. We had diner her and came back the day after for lunch.

Fantastic food, polite and lovely service. Amazing seafood but fantastic options for vegetarians too, and it was very clear what food was and was not veggie. View of the river was fantastic! They also sell fish food to attract the fish.

Don't waste your money here.... We attended as a group of 13 of which 11 are Thai. The majority vote was that the food was not authentic in any way. Tom yum soup was pretty much water with a squeeze of lemon. Fish cakes were rubbery in taste Prawn cakes lacked any sort of flavour or seasoning Egg fried rice was over seasoned and salty The green curry was awful - can't even give a break down as to why it was bad. Prawn vermicelli noodles were basic, lacked flavour. Stir fried vegetables - under cooked. Vegetables were still raw. Steamed rice, which you can't get wrong, was slightly soggy. We had more ordered but cancelled the rest as just didn't want to go through the trauma of tasting bad food. During the whole time, not once did the staff come over and asked if they're able to resolve the issue even after we voiced our concerns, they just backed away. What they did get right was the Chang beer, that tasted the same as everywhere else 🤣

My favorite restaurant every time I visit Ayutthaya. The giant prawn is very fresh and grilled on coal (that’s what I love the most). The other food is excellent. Great location next to the river, it is beautiful at night. Highly recommend it.

I have never been disappointed in thai food. But this place made us cancel the rest of our order and leave. Everything was just bland, no flavour. I've never done anything like leaving a restaurant half way through, but this place will leave you wondering if they plucked a chef who has no taste buds from rural England to cook Thai food. Avoid at all cost

Food was ok, shrimp is great. The only downside is the chair and table are full of ant and some remain food still on the chair and floor. Seafood paste should be a bit more spicy according to Thai standard. Need a better cleaning process. All staff are polite tho.

One of the best places we ate in Ayutthaya, the service was very good, location lovely and food pretty good too and much preferred it to the more famous, but not worth it, restaurant next door. The river shrimp were delicious and huge, cooked really well. The only thing we were a little disappointed by was the fish in chili, garlic and lime sauce, as it was not spicy or sour enough by comparison to when we have eaten it before. Price was reasonable, not cheap, but river prawns are never cheap. Overall, well worth it!

Absolutely fantastic and authentic Thai food. We had the River Prawns which are on the more expensive side but well worth it. Also had a whole fish dish and had a dish with snails. Everything was amazingly fresh and flavorful. Found it on the Culture App which has never steered me wrong.

Came here based on a recommendation and it was a cute place! We ordered the Omelette rice with shrimp, Fried rice with chicken, and a Fresh coconut water. The taste was really flavourful and fresh! Portion sizes could be bigger but not bad.

Fresh and tasty. I recommend the shrimp salad for a light and healthy meal (even if the shrimp and onions are deep-fried, haha). The veggies are really good though. Plus the vibe is great and the staff are super friendly.

A delightful little restaurant across the street from Wat Maha That with air conditioner dining. Great Thai dishes -fresh cooked to order and tasty. We had fish cakes, cashew chicken, shrimp pad Thai and Thai tea. Some Western options also.

Good taste, but only one downside is the price of their signature grilled prawn. A bit too pricey considering the size. Recommendable to book in advance if you prefer air-conditioned tables or going earlier to get seats outside.

We had a really good meal here. The specialty is Thai seafood. The locations on the river is beautiful. The food was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful but they spoke minimal English. The menus are Thai but translateable with Google.

Superb seafood in Ayutthaya on the river bank. Super fresh , tasty and huge prawns. We also had deep fried battered prawns, corn sticks and green vegetable. All tasted fantastic with a nice sweet dipping sauce. Tom yum goong was good but sadly lacked a little flavour and spice. But the prawns are to die for. The dipping sauce was beautifully balanced with spice, salt from fish sauce and zest from limes. If you get a table close to the outside you can enjoy a great view of the river.

If you would like to avoid food poisoning, avoid this restaurant. Bugs were everywhere, even on our table. In the soup, I had ants. Also, the quality of the meat was terrible. As you can see, it was just a big clump of meat. Even the taste is not worth that money. Just the atmosphere is lovely.

The food is very fresh with good quality ingredients. The eatery was recommended by my homestay and it didn’t disappoint. The proprietor/manager is kind and welcoming and there is a cool refreshing air conditioned section to the left. Sadly no food photos as I’d eaten everything too soon.

We visited Earl several times during our short stay in Ayutthaya - we even went twice in one day. We enjoyed the red and green curries. So so good 👍🏼 the restaurant is interestingly decorated and there's a lot to look at. Vintage coca cola adverts and bottles as well as other collectable memorabilia. The restaurant was alright, but not exceptional. The service was ok, the place in itself is pretty interesting with an American theme. We found other Westerners in the restaurant but no Thai, which is not really a good sign. The food was good, but a little bit disappointing. I took a Thai omelette and a pork fried rice. They were both ok, but I have eaten better ones in other parts of Thailand. My friends took chicken sweet and sour, and a pad thai. Their dishes were alright but not incredible, like the rest. Overall not a bad restaurant at all, but you might find better.

Great place for authentic Thai food at a cheap price! Excellent for vegetarians- you can pick the protein you want with most of the dishes. Very friendly staff, basic English OK. Inviting and comfortable, outdoor and indoor dining with eclectic decor throughout. Well situated within walking distance of Bueng Phra Ram Park so a perfect spot for lunch.

Great river prawns!! Other dishes are fine, nothing special! We have ordered 8 prawns, but got only 3 after finishing all dishes. The rest we packed it home! It was a bit strange!! The price is a bit high compared to nearby restaurants. Parking is not available, only street parking.

The food looked good in the photos but was awful in real life. Despite being a seafood restaurant, the seafood was far from fresh. The spicy sour soup with squid eggs was disappointing. The squid was mushy and the eggs watery. The steamed mussels were dry and tasteless. The fish cakes were very dark as if they had been sitting out too long. The soft-shell crab with curry powder was greasy and soaked in oil. The only dish that was good was the grilled river prawns. They were fresh and tasty. They cost 1,400 baht per kilogram for five prawns. I am not sure if that is expensive, but the total bill for two people came to almost 3,000 baht. If the seafood had been fresh and flavorful, the price would have felt reasonable. As it was, it felt like a waste of money. I chose this restaurant based on a recommendation from hotel staff who said it was a local favorite, but it left me disappointed. The riverside location is nice, but the atmosphere is just average. One side of the restaurant is right next to a ferry pier, and boats leave every five minutes. There was a strong smell of boat fuel.

Dropped by for dinner, quite a few people in, nice atmosphere, very friendly, reasonably priced and good food, have grilled river prawns, like most places priced on weight, very tasty. Overlooks river, ferry just near it taking motor bikes etc across, fascinating to watch. The frontage is set back from the road then you go through some prep/storage bit to get to it.

Riverside Thai restaurant with their famous grilled River prawn. If you plan to come here after 12:00 I’d recommend reservation in advance(River prawns also should be reserved too). They offer variety of Thai foods which were all very delicious with reasonable price. The grilled river prawns have many sizes/prices to choose from. They were heavenly tasty, juicy and perfectly prepared! After you order Grilled river prawns, they will be a menu which the prawns’s claw meat will be used to make such as stirred fried with seasonings, omelet and etc. for a special price. If you have UOB credit card I highly recommend to use them as they likely are main sponsor for this restaurant and have special promotions.

As a chef, I Definitely recommend this place foods was Delicious!! Flavour full and authentic Thai food. Prawns in tamarind sauce well balanced with fresh pineapple and crispy fried Betal leaf. Spicy Pork minced stir fried lots of heat and chilli but you got a side herbs fresh Cumin leaves,cucumber,snake beans,white turmeric and pickles garlic OMG you don’t want to miss this one if you are a chilli eater like me. Tom Klong catfish , fresh herbs clear broth with deep fried catfish. Like no other Thai curry,none coconut base soup but light and fresh herbs plus a kick of chilli makes it incredible dishes. Fast and kind service good atmosphere family friendly you name it. All in all, you won’t be disappointed if you pick this restaurant for your lunch or dinner. Recommended!!!

Local restaurant just by the riverside with reasonable price and fresh ingredients. Must try the grilled fresh river prawns- juicy, sweet and well cooked. Har mok had a bunch of spices inside and was fragrant. Tomyum was kind of diluted, would skip.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were blown away by the quality of the food. Perhaps the best meal we've had while in Thailand. The lobster is more expensive than everything else, but every dish we ordered was truly outstanding. We got the sliced pork, Tom Yam Soup, a coconut filled with seafood, garlic shrimp and lobster. Service was great too. Great views too! Would come back again and again.

Very beautiful. After taking the locomotive train from Bangkok to Ayutthaya, cross over from the train station to take a ferry to Chao Phrom pier. It's only 10 baht. From there, you can charter a bicycle, motorcycle or tuk tuk tour at a very cheap rate from a shop name December House. It's a wonderful shop run by a lady named Nid Noi. Very honest, helpful and welcoming person.

Great experience learning about the local daily food

Visit during early morning and the market is bustling. Plenty of food stalls too.

A tradition market that you will find everywhere in asia. The market sell vegetables, meat, fish and everyday essentials. It always busy in the morning as everyone is buying what they need. You really feels the vibrancy of a town when you are at the market.

Chao Phrom Market and the entire street is nothing special and the piles of garbage do not invite to buy food or eat there. (Feb. 2023)

Honestly disappointing, food is just alright (not bad, not good) but the price is exorbitant. I would suggest going else where if you value good food. Aside from that the river view, live music and service is commendable.

We came for dinner on our family trip and were not disappointed one bit. The food was tasty, and draft beer made it a perfect evening. The venue was by the river. Too bad we went there when it was already dark. The view must have been ultra lovely at daytime. And there were live bands playing English songs to remember and Thai country songs.

Good restraunt in old Town overlooking the river. You can shops passing around all times. There is a church on the opposite side as well. The food is decent with good river prawns. We tried jumbo river prawn and it was really good. There is live music with the band playing English songs in soft tones. The service though is sub standard and it do check your bill before you pay.

Cozy restaurant with river view, river prawn is nice and price is ok compare to other restaurants in the area (THB 500 and 700 / prawn). I think the size I took today is a bit small than I expected but don’t mind coz it’s fresh. Dinner time at this restaurant is very good scenery with cool air flow. The owner is very nice and supportive. Booking is needed if you want the river side desk.

Amazing food and good service. We ordered Panang curry chicken, mushrooms, fried cabbage, green curry, fish cakes and prawn cakes, and the Pad Thai wrapped in egg omelette. So tasty that I forgot to take photos! So I posted the photos of the deco instead. They also made cakes, some of which are quite gruesome!

5 stars for the ambience. We love sitting by the river and watching the boats go by. The riverside seating area is also shaded with a big olive tree. Booking is highly recommended for this seat. We ordered their recommended dishes e.g. fried pork with curry leaves and snake head fish with spicy herbal sauce and they tasted great. The day we went, the food was served quite slowly we had to wait 45 mins for some of the dishes. We hope this was one off.

It is very nice restaurant to have lunch and dinner after travel around ancient temple in Ayuttaya. the restaurant is on riverside opposite view is beautiful church in Joshep School that you can take a photo. delicious, clean and big dish, the price is pretty moderate to high but it worth for your trip there have mini stage for live music in evening too.

Staff are friendly. Food was good. A bit high price but acceptable. Especially fish which came only 2 small and medium for 400. Soup was delicious. Lemon juice was very tasty. We order twice.

Nice hidden gem to have a nice lunch in Ayutthaya. The ambiance is super unique and cosy, as if you were at home. The food was very good, especially the fried seabass with Thai herbs.

However, there is room for improvement, as a few ants were spotted floating in the green curry. Really good food that can be enjoyed outside so as to enjoy the garden and river or inside the cozy building. There are a few things that I think could be improved that would further elevate this already good restaurant. 1. Update the physical menus. It's the quality of a restaurant in a soi. 2. This is a great restaurant that respectable people come to eat but the beverage selection doesn't reflect that. So many fake sugar soda drinks and you can't even get sparkling or quality mineral water. 3. Service. Staff are nice, but are slow, fail to check on customers to refill drinks, remove plates, check if they want dessert, or just check if they need something. I don't think they are doing a mediocre job on purpose, it feels more like they just don't know. I'm sure if they were trained, they would do a good job. Now, I'm only harping on these things because when they are able to fix those issues, this place is going to be packed. It's very enjoyable to eat here and everything we ordered was delicious. And if you don't mind a slower than normal service for this caliber of restaurant, 100% you should eat here.

Very good food and nice setting. Higher price for local food but very good taste. The grilled river Prawns were huge with very firm and juicy meat. Seafood tomyam is good. Tempura vegetables is nice. Different from the usual veg served at other places. We were the only guest that night so the staffs was very attentive.

We ordered some thai dishes and it was great. However, the most surprising dish of our meal was spare ribs. It's very tasty and tender. Highly recommend it.

Michelin dim sum Place in Ayutthaya services nice dim sum although the service can be further improved. Taste is acceptable and nice but nothing similiar to hong kong dim sum.

Amazing lunch in Ayudhya!, beautiful decorated dining room with beautiful river view but most of all the food is superb,at the first bite of fried tofu puff in dimsum list ,love it! All dishes are served with great care , ending with dessert sago cantaloupe shake ,wonderful! Deserving for Michelin!

Wasn't going to put in a review but thought i should . It was not a good dining experience but without asking they gave discounts and knew they had let us down. Perhsps they are worth another chance. The first part of the Peking duck was very good

Went there for late lunch, early dinner at about 4pm. No customers. We had Peking duck. The doe was cold. There was no one to see to our needs. I practically had to serve myself tea, which was not hot. Waitresses were talking among themselves, way too loud.

Excellent restaurant! I used twice in two consecutive days. I will definitely come back to the restaurant if I come back to Ayutthaya.

Civilize Ayutthaya, a restaurant that positions itself as a refined destination for traditional Thai cuisine, delivers on its culinary promise but stumbles in the realm of ambience—a flaw that, unfortunately, overshadows an otherwise enjoyable meal. Our selection included grilled river prawns, spicy corn salad with salted egg, and pork shoulder with spicy sauce. The grilled prawns, while boasting a pleasant smokiness, raised concerns regarding their freshness; the texture lacked the desirable bounciness expected from premium river prawns. The other dishes, however, upheld the standards of a well-executed Thai meal, meeting expectations without exceeding them. Yet, what truly marred the experience was the inexplicably disruptive atmosphere. On the day of our visit, a large group had taken it upon themselves to turn the dining space into their personal karaoke lounge—an intrusion that was neither subtle nor remotely bearable. Had the singing been even moderately pleasant, one might have endured it. But alas, the performers seemed to have a particular talent for missing every note, their off-key renditions clashing brutally with the restaurant’s supposed “high-class” image. For the price point and positioning of the establishment, such an allowance for blaring, amateur karaoke was baffling and wholly inappropriate. Service-wise, the staff displayed commendable enthusiasm, but no level of attentiveness could compensate for the auditory assault we endured. Ultimately, Civilize Ayutthaya delivers a solid meal but fails spectacularly in preserving the refined dining experience it claims to offer. A restaurant of this calibre should prioritise ambience as much as its cuisine—after all, what is fine dining without a setting to match?

The staff provided excellent service and made me feel very welcome. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, almost like something you’d see in a royal palace. itself looks elegant and high-end, so I expected the prices to be expensive but surprisingly, it was very affordable.

This is one of the most authentic Thai restaurants I have ever tried. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant and the staff all had a fantastic service . When I got here the staff that took care of me named น้ำพุ Manphu and Aun อั๋น . They made my normal dinner became a very memorable dinner. I would recommend this place to everyone. If I have a chance to come to Ayutthaya again . I definitely would love visiting here for sure . ❤️

Came here for dessert but unfortunately tiramisu ran out so make sure you check it out before coming. We instead had coconut cake which turned out to be really nice. Their tea with salted caramel was okay and coconut water was refreshing. Couple of parking in front of the restaurant. Service was exceptional but staffs seemed to be new and the decoration was luxury style.

Very nice atmosphere with great staffs. We take table indoor and it feel like we are in a 5 star lounge. Come to the food. They are the great Thai food. Good taste and very rare to find. Price is very reasonable. We will surely come back again.

Lovely large restaurant with large seating areas both inside and out which overlooks the river. Food was just ok. I had the beef satay. Beef was on the tough side and a little chewy. Some pieces were far too fatty. Satay sauce was very good. Wife's dishes were ok to good. Cost for 3 dishes and a drink each was 1,560 baht which I felt was on the pricey side.

Sensational restaurant selling Thai Chinese style food. Open kitchen and a very talented and renowned chef who i suspect may be the owner . Generous potions so you can share. Prices are reasonable given the quality. Snapper Penang curry was amazing as was crispy por kaprow I have eaten all over Thailand and this is one of the best places i have eaten. The multiple Michelin awards from 2022 to 2025 are testament to that. A must visit in the ancient city of Ayutthaya

i thought it was regular shrimp, but turned out to be tiger prawns(fresh ones). Its chewy texture supported by stir-fry basil & red green chili gives explosive flavors. the open kitchen concept expresses confidence of chef's remarkable cuisinart. well-thought menu items but just need to improve the quality of photos so customer does not mistakenly order 2 dish with rice.

Carefully choose the menu as the portion is big. Take about half an hour for cooking. The taste was excellent 👍 Shirmp/Squish size are big.

Still the top choice for the Thai cuisine in Ayudhya from the top chef. Ordinary food is exceptionally tastier than we expected and ingredients are well selected. We can’t easily find it from any other Thai restaurant in the same area.

Baan Ton Sai is a top culinary gem in Ayutthaya, known for its exceptional ingredient quality, unbeatable flavors, and perfect cleanliness. It’s very tourist-friendly, allowing customizable spice levels and special requests. Do note that during busy times, the wait can be about an hour to an hour and a half, but the experience is well worth it. Featured in the Michelin Guide, Baan Ton Sai truly deserves at least one Michelin star.

Was here 4 years ago! We came to eat again, food is still good, the ingredients use are very fresh. We ordered the 1 plate dish - it’s cheap and good. We came on a public holiday - waited for more than an hour for our orders.

Thai- Chinese seafood menus with amazing taste . Reasonable price compared to dish size. Better make reservation especially during peak hours on weekends, able to take order in advance. Good service but quite slow due to lack of staff.

Conveniently located bar. We visited during a live music event, which over some 3 hours had the place packed (and we were the only foreigners). The atmosphere was great and the bar was fine, but the food was really not worth it and there was no other way to communicate with staff other than google translate.

Arrived in town at night time and boyfriend stayed in the room. Walked half a mile to this place in the dark. The staff facilitated a take away and then gave me a moped taxi ride back to my hotel ( which was very much appreciated) and wouldn't take any money for it. The food was nice and there was live music. Lovely people.

Amazing food, the best we have had in Thailand so far! Filled with flavor and spice. The chicken basil, pad thai and stir-fried chicken with curry was phenomenal. It was a fun relaxing atmosphere with friendly service and amazing views.

Spaghetti was good but quantity for children. Don’t take “pizza” it is on tortilla small and the time you’re waiting for don’t worst it..

I am from California and been in all over Thailand , this is the best restaurant I had ever ate in Thailand . The family owned restaurant has incredible service and food. I order pesto pasta and chicken wings. They even gave me a free Thai desert. My water was never half way full they always came and filled up. The pasta presentation with fire was impressive, made me feel like I was eating in Italy. Highly recommended!!!!

The food was absolutely delicious, especially the pasta. For dessert, we had ice cream with cheese—something unique that I’d never tried before. I was truly impressed. The owner and the chef took great care of us. We drove from Bangkok and were able to park right in front of the restaurant. Thumbs Up!!!

The service is top notch, the best of Thai hospitality. Very welcoming hole in the wall Italian restaurant wasn't expecting such friendly and professional service. Excellent live music by solo singer and guitarist (we visited on a rather wet Saturday). Large selection of beers and big menu. The owner gave us VIP treatment and we really enjoyed the craft beers, the house Merlot and selection of salads and pasta. Next time will definitely try the pizza. Great value for money my only very minor complaint would be the pasta could have been hotter. Cos it was raining so badly and we had walked from our hotel the staff very kindly offered umbrellas which was much welcomed. Will be back!

Stopped here for a quick lunch on our way to Wat Mongkhon. There was Thai live music playing and the ambience was cozy. We ordered a pasta, pizza and beer. The pasta was flavorful, the sauce was very good. Pizza was well made too. The pasta sauce and few other items are for sale here. Service is quick and the owner is friendly. The location is a bit away from the sights, but the food is well worth the effort to make it here!

Went there for Belgium beer after dinner. Wide selection of Belgium beer available from smooth, fruity to bitter. Have a wide selection of food as well. Highly recommend the Pauwel Kwak bitter beer which is very aromatic and smooth and serve in a signature glass bulb with wooden stand.

First time here and i ordered every menu by the owner suggested. Porchetta Pizza , 8.5” is good for 2 people , Rich Flavors , The Pizza dough is perfect. Perfectly cheesy for cheese lover. Mushroom Truffle Soup , drip the bread in soup and then wait until it soft, very going well , the soup not to rich , many hint of mushroom flavor. Love it. Spaghetti sour cream with new orleans chicken , i never ate this menu before , and it make me excited. good flavor but the chicken is too dry and salty. Beef skewers, I loved this menu , in the skewers has many layers of lean and fat pieces. Drip in mustard is perfect. Platter of Ribs , 2 Way Smoke Rip first one is barbecued , second one is honey sesame oil’s, it’s good . Total of menu I’ve ordered of 6 menu 17xx THB Appreciate with service.

Quality restaurant with friendly staff and beautiful scenery. Had to ask them to spice the food up a bit because they'd instinctively tuned it down for me as a foreigner, but overall a great experience.

The restaurant is designed simply but is eye-catching thanks to the decoration and display of architectural models. There is a beautiful view of the river towards the river which is very nice and romantic. In the evening, there are beautiful and small lights suitable for dating couples. The food was delicious and beautifully displayed, we had a wonderful dinner together while on a trip through Thailand.

The local food was okay, but not suitable with the price. Cozy terrace along the river to enjoy the food and company. Nice arranged dishes on classic china with a good service. All in all an okay experience, but the thing I give ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for is the Lemongrass lemonade with cardboard straw!! Creative and good initiative 👍

This restaurant is a must for river prawn. Would definitely come back again just for that. The lemongrass drink was great, much better than pandan juice. Parking can be slightly problematic. You will need to park on the road in the area. So best to start looking for parking before you get to the restaurant The interior was beautiful.

We had spring rolls, papaya salad, stir fried vegetables and deep fried shrimps. All very tasty. Service was quick. We ate outside with a nice view on the river.

The dishes we tried were INCREDIBLE! I highly recommend the seafood stir fried rice and the spicy Thai seafood spaghetti (get it mild even if you like spicy food and handle it well). The gentleman that served us was kind and personable.

Definitely underrated! Tasty Thai dishes at a good price, everything was also clean! I recommend the Tom Yum Shrimp and the coconut soup. Overall a neat experience close to the Ayutthaya Train Station.

Really amazing food. Parang karry with beef was the best, this is my favourite dish and they made it perfectly. They even have wine and the price is ok. Cost for the food is also ok. They have Thai food that are amazing. And also none Thai dishes as chicken cordon bleue and carbonare and these where also great. Drinks are great. And best of all. They have an musician that plays well and in English we could understand. We spend a lot of money but we also stayed for long and had a lot to eat and a lot to drink.

VERY nice place. The food is very good, ( I grade very hard, this place probably deserves a 5, but I only now give 5's to the white tablecloth places with wine stewards, and food pairings so don't take my 4 as a negative, I keep trying to think of a better personalized grading system) and they care about their customers. Live music streetside in one of the more attractive open air restaurants in the area. There is also an airconditioned zone with a very interesting collection of maritime photos. A great place for anyone with ties to the sea or a a life on the sea or with boating. This place could easily become a regular place to enjoy on every visit to Ayutthaya. You could spend 150 THB, but you must have their cocktails, or maybe a beer with your very good food order. You will be glad you came here.

Superb location and atmosphere, unfortunately those are all it has. Food took ages to serve, taste are just alright, price is on the high side. 50 baht for concentrated juice in a whiskey glass, 150 baht for a very fair speghetti Bolognese (served with fork and knife, lol), 150 baht for half decent green curry with plain rice sold seperately at 20 baht, gosh, you can get a decent fried rice at 50 baht around here. If you just arrived and think this is the price range in Ayutthaya, it's not. Walk around a little bit and u will find better eateries.

Nice place for food. We went here as part of our tour. Food ordered in advance so it came pretty promptly. I really enjoyed my pineapple rice...especially as it came in a pineapple! (Not had that before!) Nice riverside view as well

Raan Tha Luang restaurant was an unfortunate stop, forced as part of a Trip Guru tour. We had to preorder meals through the guide, yet still waited 30 minutes once in the restaurant. While most guests were served quickly, one of our dishes, Pad Thai, arrived long after the first meal—cold by then. Four staff members stood watching our group rather than tracking down the missing order. Prices were fair, but a service charge was added despite the poor experience, which felt unjustified. The food tasted average, pork dish was dry, and lacked authenticity. The venue clearly caters to large tour groups over individual diners, and our Trip Guru guide made little effort to resolve the issue, preferring to enjoy their own meal. I wouldn’t choose to eat here, and Trip Guru should consider an alternative, as others in our group also found the food and value disappointing.

It was really quiet in terms of people present, but the guy on the guitar played in volume like it was a full stadium 🥴 (a typical Thai thing we discovered). The morning glory was really nice. The fried pork was not my thing, really fatty and hardly any flavor. The pineapple filled with rice was ok, but the battered chicken on top, was chewy and had a floury taste 😔 So no, we don’t recommend this place for food, service was fast and friendly and the music was better than in another place last night, but way too loud.

What an absolutely hidden gem! Live music, great food, attentive staff. Would 100% recommend. I haven't bothered writing any reviews on my whole trip, but absolutely felt I must here. I went to 6 other restaurants looking for vegetarian food, but none of them had any. By pure chance did I find this place - they had a whole vegetarian menu! And the tofu+cashew dish was amazing. They had live music too, and he was excellent! Created a great atmosphere. The staff brought me mosquito repellent when they saw me kill a mosquito. A++ experience and food.

Nice atmosphere by the river, they have live music every evening and you can even rent the boat for a romantic dinner or birthday. The food was okay. The place is full of farang (foreigners) maybe thats why the food is not spectacular. The curry came in like 3 minutes and wasn’t super hot. But still tasted good. The steamed fish was very nice, great lime sauce with some garlic. Coconut is always great in 🇹🇭

We were brought here by our tourist guide. The food we ordered (pineapple fried rice and a cabbage soup) have been brought in 5 minutes after we had placed the order. Needless to say, the rice was not freshly cooked. It was coldish warm, the deep fried chicken was cold and hard to chew. The soup was not tasty either, I spit the meat ball the moment I tasted it. The spring rolls were eatable, but really nothing special. We complained about the pineapple rice. The staff was nice and kind to take it back and replace, 5 min later, just slightly warmer this time, while the chicken now was fried right before serving, but it was hard to chew. Besides, it was not easy to communicate with the staff in English, we had to use body language to explain what medium hot would be. The total bill was over 600 baht, double of what we'd pay in a good average restaurant in Bangkok. Unfortunately, we don't recommend this place, unless you have no other choice.

Food is okay but I don’t think I would come back. The view is beautiful, which might justify the price for some. The service was fast but without any enthusiasm. Overall, a skip. If you’re a tourist in the city for the day, come if you really want a river view. If you do decide to come, here is what we ordered: prawns (pricey for their sizes), spring rolls, and garlic pork. I would say order rice with the meal as it doesn’t come with it. I can’t judge the desserts as I haven’t tried any.

Best fancy Thai meal. The flavours were sublime and the river prawns are unlike anything I've ever tasted. The crispy pork belly was so originally done. Everything is as fresh and flavourful and prices were great too. Obviously prawns were the more expensive thing on the menu, as fresh seafood tends to be. But well priced at about 800 baht per prawn. Staff all very helpful. Google translate helped. If I'm ever back in the area: will certainly be back here.

Unfortunately we weren't happy with the food and we weren't happy with the service either. We were there for a late lunch, the waiters and waitresses were just bored and didn't feel like working, that's how they left the impression. Most of them sat at tables with cell phones in hand. They were friendly, yes, but everything seemed fake and like they were just bothering the employees. The food and drinks were brought to the table, after which we were forgotten. No questions were asked about whether everything was OK or whether we would like to order drinks, coffee, or a dessert. Even at the drinks machine, where I looked at the types of beer, I wasn't asked which one I wanted. Well, the food itself wasn't particularly well tempered and tasted, kind of boring and tasteless. I couldn't continue eating the shrimp. The taste was somehow strange. My impression was confirmed. Even today, days later, I still have stomach/intestinal problems and can constantly run to the toilet. The decor in the restaurant is more reminiscent of a canteen than a restaurant, dishes and cutlery made of plastic/melanin and cheap metal cutlery. All of this left a rather bad and negative impression, I'm sorry. After this experience, I would not recommend the restaurant Actually, only a single STAR, but the terrace with the view of the river is really nice. The food, service, and drinks have a maximum of one STAR for this time. The total bill was almost 1000 THB, and the performance was simply too poor for that I'm so sorry, but it was not really good at all...

Nice restaurant by the river serving tasty local Thai foods. There was live music performing in the evening. Reasonable price and attentive staff. Parking in front of the restaurant are available, but during peak hours, need to park on the road side. There were staffs to assist. Recommend.

The view next to the river makes the atmosphere very chilling and relaxing. Some of the dishes were nice. The juicy shrimps in Kilograms were highly recommended. However, it's a pity that the river shrimps (500/800) that we received were not so fresh and dried.

I had a delightful time at this restaurant, conveniently located across from a historic landmark in the old city. The food was absolutely delicious, and the view was simply breathtaking.

There is a wonderful canal side seating area. We came in the evening, it was nice and cool, there was a cool light breeze. There isn't much of the view but very nice ambiance. The food was good, and prices are very reasonable. I think the dishes very innovative, Thai/Western fusion dishes. Only thing is that there are only 3 parking spots up front, if it's full then you need to park at the nearby temple. Unique cafe in the area, drop by if you have a chance.

Modern interior coffee place and bakery. Coffee place extends 4 floors. We had cappuccinos which were great and the view of nearby ruins was fantastic, however prices are high (all coffee starts at 100 baht) and coffees were served in plastic disposable cups.

Nice and minimal decoration. Spectacular view of ancient city. Chiffon cake not to sweet but the taste of topping is quite bland. Drinks are so so. Price are quite high, but u can take lots of photos. Parking are hard to find in this area.

Busaba has many branches. This branch has bakery kitchen. The chef has a creative dessert menu. The location is extraordinary. Seeing the view of wat while having desserts.

The roti that you can't miss in the city! It's so authentic and delicious. Michelin certified and halal friendly. The base of roti is like thin and soft kulit lumpia, the sweet itself comes from sugar hair shaped which is very good combined with roti. I bought 2 pcs to be taken away to Bangkok and the taste is still good 👌

It is the famous desert in Ayuthaya. If you visit this city you must try it. You can find many shops that sell it and many stalls beside the road but this shop is one of the most famous and you can find it near the hospital... 2 packs of 10 crepes each and sugar floss cost 100 baht.

This one is the famous Thai restaurant of Ayutthaya. I saw so many a lot of government officer come here. The ingredient is super fresh there is seafood live stock ready to cook. The food is tastes really good and decent price. The staff fast and good service. But parking is hard to find.

Pretty good seafood restaurant. The seafood is either swimming or jumping prior to you ordering, so freshness is guaranteed. Crab fried rice and grilled prawns (Gung pao) are winners. Prices are alright if you're with a group.

We left Googling if it’s socially acceptable to drink prawn oil straight. Sides were no afterthought either—spicy dips that slap, rice that actually compliments the meal instead of just showing up, and a riverside view that’s one strong gust away from a full food meditation session. Bonus: zero tourist-trap energy. Just good food, good people, and shrimp that might haunt our dreams (in the best way). My go-to spot every time I’m in Ayutthaya. The food’s really good and totally worth the price. The grilled shrimp is a must—super fresh, comes in big portions, and not pricey at all. They usually have three sizes to choose from. I also really like their fried rice, tom yum, and the seafood sauce is amazing. It’s in the market area but there’s parking, which is super convenient. Definitely a place I keep coming back to.

Been in this restaurant advised by a local guide. The location is so suggestive: on the riverside,inside and outside seatings,historical,cured in every detail from the wooden swings,to the wooden benches,tables etc and very well decorated! Service has been 5 start from the beginning to the end,very gentle and professional. We ve been here on our 3rd day of the trip and I have to say I ve been eating better food,but is still good and defitenely worth the money

As a Thai but also a tourist to this area I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant's green curry, hor mok with fish, chicken laab and lod chong dessert. The restaurant has an elegant but accessible vibe and the service was warm and attentive. The team escorted us from the parking lot into the courtyard. Another plus was the pandan water and beautiful banyan trees and other structures patrons can visit. The owner not only cares about the food but is also an informed person who can tell you about the rich history in the area. Hopefully the owner creates a vid telling the history of the area in English. Local people nearby hold this restaurant in high regard.

I really relaxing experience to site down at the River front to see the amazing temple across, and have a very enjoyable meal. We had a variety of food as you can tell from all the photos, but what really stuck out of all of it was the Hong Kong style fried noodles, and the beef jerky. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous with amazing beautiful old trees within the courtyard. Surrounded by traditional style Thai structures, this place is definitely a great place to eat at.

Not just a Thai traditional vibe restaurant, it also proffers itself as a place for wedding ceremonies. So you will see many beautiful backdrops all around the place. Set on the Chao Phraya River bank, on the other side of Sri Suriyothai pagoda. The must-order item is Nam Prik Pla Tu; they serve the tasty chili paste with fried mackerel together with all kinds of rare vegetable items like lotus stem, pickled spinach (ผักเสี้ยนดอง), winged beans (ถั่วพู), and bitter melon (มะระขึ้นก), and they remove the mackerel bone for you. The utensils they use are precious. Thai Thai heaven on earth is here!

Visiting from Bangkok we wanted a place to dine by the river. We settled for Thanam as it has live entertainers. Came in around 5:30pm and tables by the river had already been occupied. The servers here were very attentive. Food were above average. The seafood hormok, and squid stirred with salted egg tasted satisfying. The pork belly dish was somewhat disappointed. The morceau were too fatty and tasted old. The overall experience was positive.

Good food. Decent service (we came on New Year’s Day and they were very busy). Amazing view. The grilled river prawns were large with a good amount of orange fat. We are from Rangsit and everyone agreed the boat noodles were very good. Roti was also really good. The white rice seemed to be of lower quality and was very clumpy (not sticky rice). They had lots of fan and shades pulled so we weren’t burning up even though we came at 12:00 noon. Overall good experience and we will add this of places to eat in Ayutthaya.

This is a really nice restaurant with a romantic view at the riverside. The food was really delicious, in a good quality and for an effortable price (drinks too). The service is friendly and professional. Live music was provided by a very skilled musician, but doesn't got a lot attention on the background. I think, that job must be frustrating... All in all: if you want to enjoy good food in a relaxed atmosphere for an effortable price, it can be your place. I surely like to come back.

The food in this restaurant is absolutely amazing. The river prawn was huge and with lots of meat. The red curry with roasted duck was very tasty and the fried laab moo was among the best I’ve had. Great vibe and smooth live music and the amazing view to Wat Phutthaisawan! A bit pricey but the quality justifies the price.

Had dinner last night with gf. Live performance from solo singer. The guy sang a few English numbers to entertain us. Food was generally good. Bill came up to about 690B. What was good service, was that we had problems booking Grab to our accommodation. They made a call to arrange a tuktuk for us instead. The service staff even waited along the main road to ensure we got on, and will be brought to the right place.

Tried 4 menus They are all amazing . Spaghetti roasted chilli with bacon, tasty but not so spicy. If you like crispy bacon, need to let the chef know as it came in soft version . Pad Thai ... great ... tasty sauce, fresh shrimp ... must try . Rice noodle fries with Cha Om and shrimp ... another must try ... Cha Om just about right, not too strong . Fries rice with fermented pork ... good test and smell ... not a dry version but tasty both pork and rice They got table with great view of riverside here ... try once... you will love it Saw another table nearby, their children also enjoy the meal

The smoothies (40 baht each) were absolutely delicious and full of natural flavour!!! Must try. Pad Thai was good but no chili flakes (maybe would've gotten them by asking). Great value for price!!

Pad thai was sweeter than the thai iced tea... Would prefer more spiciness. Omelette was a bit too salty, and rice texture was slightly strange. Drinks were good and it is also the first few restaurants close to the station.

The pad Thai was fine. The mango smoothies were just mango and ice. Wasn’t mixed with anything else so can hardly call them a smoothie’

This place is amazingly hospitable and awesome! This is directly across from the Ayutthaya train station and would be my recommendation for how to explore! You can rent bikes for $50 baht, mountain bikes for $100, and motorcycles (that seat 2) for $200. Me and my girlfriend decided to rent a motorbike, and the store employee even gave me a crash course on how to drive and navigate around the island. Their simplified map is a great way to explore the island and took us about 5-6 hours to hit up all the places. Our train was delayed an hour and we decided to go back to eat a snack + drink beer! Highly recommended :)

There's free WiFi. The beer was nice and cold. Friendly service. It's covered over and there are plenty of fans. The food menu was very well put together and reasonably priced but I wasn't hungry. A large Chang was 75 baht. It's directly opposite the train station.

Bike Rental: 200 Baht if you rent till 6 PM. 300 Baht for 24 hours. They take your government ID or passport as a deposit but do not check for your driver's license or international driver's license. We used 20% of the gas and they charged us 50 Baht. The helmet visor was cracked and the speed indicator of the bike did not work.

A nice and rustic cafe/restaurant right across one of the main temples in Ayutthaya. Though might now be as tall as other cafe, having 2nd floor, along the same stretch, you still can catch a nice glimpse of the ancient temple across the road and take some nice photos. The food and drinks are tasty as well. Can recommend for sit and stare during a slow afternoon

After visiting some temples, I decided to stop by Boran for brunch, an ancient-style Thai restaurant that beautifully reflects both history and culture. I had their Gai Hor Bai Toey, and it was a delight. The crispy fried chicken wrapped in pandan leaves delivered an amazing aroma and flavor. 5/5 Their Fried Pork with Thai Herbs was another standout. Perfectly fried, not too oily, and packed with delicious flavor. 5/5 The Pad Thai Goong Sod was hands down the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. A generous portion of shrimp, tofu, and all the classic Thai flavors made it absolutely perfect. 5/5 The Pineapple Fried Rice is now my personal favorite, a unique blend of cashew nuts, shrimp, fragrant rice, and just everything nice. 5/5 Their Pad Kra Pao had just the right level of spice and left a lingering, satisfying taste. 5/5 I also loved the Kaeng Nuer Kha Ti (Beef Curry with Coconut Milk). Rich, flavorful, and aromatic with a generous serving of well-cooked beef. Another personal favorite. 5/5 The drinks were next-level! Thai Iced Coffee gave a good caffeine kick with the right sweetness. Iced Thai Tea was aromatic and refreshing. Thai Tea Beautiful lived up to its name beautifully presented and just as delicious. 5/5 To top it off, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming: serving customers like family. Special shoutout to Te and Terd for the amazing service. Will definitely come back on my next trip to Thailand!

This place is an amazing starting point for your day in Ayutthaya. We for example stayed in Bangkok, took a grab to this spot, had a great lunch (the Thom Ka Kai soup was really good and the choice of drinks was fantastic, really instagrammable!) and then went walking to the temples. Would definitely recommend!

Really nice place with good food! 2 small downsides, it’s a bit pricier and they should loose the guy singing behind the piano 😆 The service is really friendly and we even came for dinner here twice cause the food is that good. The part in front is not really big to sit, but the place itself is really big, even with rooms we think!? I had the red curry with duck, even the second night again, because I liked it so much, the second time with sticky rice 😊 The fried rice with chicken and cashew nuts became a favorite dish too. The pad Thai with river prawns, again my girlfriend found out, she really doesn’t like those prawns unfortunately 😔 So, bring ear plugs and go enjoy their food! 😆

Did not stay in the hotel, just had some dinner on the way back to Bangkok. Food was great with some astonished Thai menu, we ordered Kang-Khao-Nuea (แกงขาวเนื้อ) and it was difficult to describe feeling while ate it: mixed good-new-strange flavor. River prawn was amazing: good creamy prawn head fat, spicy and sour soup. Just 1 thing that has to improve is service, we understand that restaurant is quite big but waiters should be available at every part of the areas the customers took seat (in my area, beside river, they did not stand by all the time even though there are many employees).

honestly I was left a little disappointed with the overall experience.. there are few that left me wondering: - the plates and bowls are not well cleaned - dishes came partially and remaining only came when some of us finished eating. given the place was still empty at 11.30am it was a little questionable. - difficult to ask some questions to waiter due to language barrier (was expecting at least we can converse in English considering Michelin) - food was good

We had dinner at this restaurant yesterday, it was a very sad experience. The poor new waitress had no idea what she was doing. We ordered twice white wine after 30 minutes we got a red wine. we were 4, and there were not too many other tables, yet all 4 dishes came at 25 minutes interval, so we each ate our dish while the other were waiting. The food was at best ok, we had better street food .then they forgot to remove a dish from our bill.we talked to the manager who agreed to lower our bill a little bit really for the experience it was overpriced, a sad evening and 20 minutes taxi drive both ways to downtown Ayutthaya!! Not recommended at all.

The outdoor seats were too hot for us on the day we visit and air con seats were all booked so it was an unfortunate. Having the fan blew at you at top speed is not so comfortable. The food tastes great. However, with tax and service charge added some dished were too expensive for the portion we got.

A great place to stop for some delicious ice cream on a hot afternoon. We tried a couple of different ice cream dishes and they were both very tasty. I liked the eclectic decor, and we were able to park on the street just outside the restaurant.

Their breakfast with homemade canola and fresh fruit tastes like a piece of heaven. Their lemonade is the best I've tadted in Thailand by far.

Not recommended. Firstly staff was kinda fixed seat for us when I asked if we can sit on the other side she said it’s full (though only 1-2 tables occupied and no other customers in the cafe). When we looked at the cake inside the cake fridge, the staff at the cashier was unwelcome and said that the menu is in the book (while no cake menu inside the menu book). When we sit at the specified table, the seat was very very dirty (you can see from last picture) and we needed to ask them to replace the chair (I read some comment that they never clean table from one customer to another which is probably true). For the food, it’s quite disappointed, the ice cream was very sweet though the texture of Thai desserts was quite nice but doesn’t taste good, plus the coconut milk that usually come with Thai desserts usually is a bit salty to go with the sweetness, but here the coconut milk was tasteless. Desserts were a bit pricey. Overall quite a bad experience here both food and service and would not recommend to anyone.

Lovely cafe for healthy meals, desserts, drinks and asmosphere. Quite big and clear space to sit in comfortably. Simple decoration but look cosy. All menu is homemade from organics ingredients especially icecream. I only tried desserts but it's wow!!. Local Thai menu is well mixed. Parking along the street. Good services.

The best homemade Rose Icecream I’ve ever had. I also ordered Sun Flower Icecream, Fresh Milk Icecream, Toast and Lychee and Rose Tart. I give full scores to all the dishes. They have chosen the very good quality ingredients and decorations.

The food is tasty and the river prawn are fresh. It is located by the river and you can seat at the boat and the view is spectacular as you can see the golden pagoda and another ancient ruins. The price is quiet high but reasonable (500 baht per a prawn). The place is near one of the most beautiful and must visit temple.

One of the best place for "Grilled giant river prawn" in Ayutha province. Not so crowded with people and there will always be enough prawn for you. They have both outside by the river and inside with air conditioning for you to choose. The food is great, you can not be disappointed and the proportion of the food is suitable for 4 persons. We had an excellent meal here the fish ho mok was particularly good. It would have been nice to eat on the boat but you have to sit on the floor which I find extremely difficult with my long legs.

We had a family lunch at Sa La Eatery and Bar, and it was truly perfect. The view is absolutely stunning, the kind that makes you want to sit and savor every moment. This is out first stop in Ayutthaya, where you can rest from the long drive and enjoy your breakfast with a beautiful view. The breakfast set was very nice and tasty. We had egg Benedict which were yummy. Since we normally don't eat much, one set was enough for too since it comes with coffee or tea and a fresh juice ☺️

The waiter and waitresses at the restaurant are a joke. Everything you asked they say they don’t have food not that great for tourist people and very bad service. Asked to get a fried rice with chicken and the chicken was served with the skin, not fully cooked and it felt like bones in there as well. Disgusting.

Terrible experience at a riverside restaurant—boats were parked nearby waiting for passengers with their engines running the entire time, releasing black smoke that made it impossible to enjoy the meal. When we asked them to turn off the engines and only restart when passengers were ready, they refused.

The high-light of the day. Sitting with your friends around a table overlooking the Chao Praya river with a cool wind blowing, after a long hot day of walking around, enjoying a very hearty meal. Just brilliant. The food was great, even for us none seafood lovers. Our friends though had the sea-food and the river prawns and said it was wonderful. Ok, it might have been on the pricey side, but then again, the portions they bring you is just huge. We could have ordered half the food and it would still have been to much. We had a feast and over ate ourselves. They have vegetarian food, but don't know how it is. The service was great. They have a river boat for hire at 2500 baht per hour and it can take anything from 30-60 people. This place, its cook and the waiters deserves 5 stars.

My wife and I patronised this riverside restaurant which has only Thai name on Google map. On arrival, we found that it's English name is Kankitti Restaurant. The waitress speaks English. We ordered Tomyam fresh water prawns, sweet sour fresh water fish, stir fried morning Glory and a coconut. All were very good and we enjoyed the food very much. The price came up to 950baht, well worth the money.

Very easy system, a manageable menu of different boat noodle options, with English descriptions, 20 baht a bowl. Couldn't be easier, relaxed friendly staff. Great for experimenting with the different types of boat noodles. Not as challenging as some dishes can be, so definitely more foriegner friendly. Found the taste here just right and ready to eat. The dry noodles were great, definitely recommend. Don't miss all the desert stalls outside, everything we got there was excellent. Great experience for lunch while in Ayutthaya.

Needs 6 bowls a person to make it a proper size meal, but on the flip side it means you get to enjoy 6 different variations of their menu offering. 6 times the enjoyment.

Famous boat noodle spot famous among the locals located right opposite of Wat Mahathat. The small size of the bowl allows you to slurp it very fast. Both the rice noodle soup and dry noodle is good. However, broth is a little bit sour.

Can't beat boat noodles at 20 baht a bowl. Also the location makes it super convenient, it's a perfect pitstop after exploring the ruins (just across the road from the Wat Mahathat complex). For me personally the must-order is dry pork noodles!

Absolutely amazing. Make sure to get them Thai spicy. The queueing happens by taking a green plastic card. I didn't see it and had to wait an extra few minutes. All in all it took 6-7 minutes to queue and get food.

This Thai restaurant is open air and play music. Good place to visit with friends. Pineapple rice was nice and soup was good taste. Unfortunately, attitude of ladies were bad, no smiling.

Most of the staff was glued to their phones the whole time and the food was fairly expensive. Tourist trap with less than impressive food. Chicken curry tasted like seafood. Bar only has well vodka or bottle service. This place is better for drinks and not food.

A place we have had on our to-check-out list for a while, we went about a week ago. Located quite centrally in the city island, the space is quite open and breezy. There are a few good stations operating under the same roof, beef noodle, pork noodle, satay, grilling stations for bananas and meatballs and beverages We sampled the noodles, some side dishes including satay I would say that the noodles were competent, but nothing that I would go out of my way to visit, a solid 3-star rating The satay, on the other hand, was excellent. The pork is quite lean, but it is still quite moist and soft. We had to repeat our order before we left. It is the satay that would bring us back

Food was good. I would say the pork sate stands out and were the most tasteful compare to the noodles and grill beef. The egg noodle boat noodle was my favourite.

I visit here following the google reviews. You choose plan for car parking because there is only small slot in front the restaurant, it means that you have to park your car beside the main road. Please order the big size or special one of noodles because you will be surprised with normal size Lol. Boat noodles with beef are so delicious here. This is the original one of Kuay Tiew Rue Ayutthaya, they use coconut milk for soup, don’t use blood. Small bowl is 20฿ Big bowl is 40฿ You can choose meat pork or beef, meatball, braised meat, entrails, boiled meat or mix together. Of you order Kuay Tiew Rue without soup, they will serve with a piece of lime! Parking on the road or car park near by Delicious with the authentic recipe Very cheap price Recommend

It was alright in terms of local food. Not the best noodles I've had, but it was good. Lunch crowd was pretty packed. Not much parking in front of the restaurant. It's very cheap though, servings are not that big. A place to check when your in the area.

Angeum Vietnamese Restaurant (ร้านอันเกิมเวียดนามมิส) was very enjoyable. The prawn sugarcane was particularly good, and I found that wrapping many of the dishes in the traditional Vietnamese style really enhanced the flavors. Overall, the food tasted great and the restaurant offers good value for money.

We saw Angeum restaurant listed on the Michelin Guide, so we decided to go for it. It actually was in the Michelin Guide for 4 years as I could see. The decoration is incredibly beautiful and clean, and there is a nice atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. It gets very busy here around lunch time. The menu is so unique and we ordered many things. The Vietnamese soup was tasty! There is also parking for cars, though there is not much space.

This restaurant serves amazing Vietnam dishes especially Namnueng. Its tastes make you wonder why you don't come to this place sooner. I think the pineapple is the one ingredients that make its difference. Other dishes are also good. Service is quite nice. Food comes out fast even though we arrive at noon and all tables are full with customers. Recommend to reserve the table before you go especially on the holiday. The price is also reasonable call the portion of food. Highly recommend!

Loved this place! I stopped by Artisan Ayutthaya during my trip and totally fell in love with the vibe. The space is beautiful calm, stylish, and perfect for chilling after exploring the city. The food was amazing, well balanced, and they were so fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming too. Definitely one of the best restaurants that I’ve been to in Ayutthaya. A lovely restaurant situated by the Chao Phraya river. Utilizing many locally sourced ingredients, the Artisans offered a memorable dining experience. I particularly enjoyed Tom Som Pla Ma with its delicate taste that was not overpowering. My only complaint was the soup was taken away before i had the chance to finish.

Very well decorated cafe and restaurant. Very few staffs could understand basic English. That's whybthe manager took the order and we specifically asked to add olives in our margarita pizza but upon arrival of our order, it was missing. When we asked the manager, he said olive means olive oil, can't believe this is an Italian Restaurant. However, the staffs were good. Overall not very bad experience.

Great food, good atmosphere. The food is great, both Thai and Western Pizza may not be like 100% Italian but it's better than other places. Thai food is good, spicy and tasty as it should be. Bakery is also good. The place is decorated and landscaped as in the forest with artificial waterfall, lots of shade and very green. There are both seatings outdoors and in air-conditioned room. Service is good, price is quite upscale, though. Lots of parking.

The atmosphere was really beautiful, but I haven't taken the photos without people. I do love it. The problem is food. It was so disappointing. My friends and I ordered drinks, cakes and pizza. None of them were impressed. Smoke salmon pizza was overcooked. Cakes tasted weird. The drinks were bland. 🥲 I wish the restaurant would do something to improve the taste so that I can revisit the restaurant again.

I had an amazing beef rice noodle bowl here at a very affordable price. I feel lucky to be traveling with a Thai friend who helped me navigate the menu — otherwise, I would’ve had to rely on Google Translate to figure out dishes I’m not familiar with. Boat noodle too salty, pad thai so so, not tasty. Satay pork too overpower with seasoning, and have curry smell. I dont know why we dont like all the food here. Atmosphere is normal, like old noodle shop, no aircon or fan. Have q but they let people behind us to order first.. overall not satisfied

All noodles incluidng Pad Thai are very delicious. Price is so cheap but there are more than enough ingredients and shrimps for Pad Thai are very big 😱 there is no air conditioner and some people might feel the place is not clean, but if you are ok person, highly recommended😊

Local Thai boat noodle shop. The noodle was delicious. The soup was tasty with a little bit spicy. There are both beef noodle and pork noodle. I prefer beef noodle than pork one. The beef was tender and good. There’s also Pad Tai but I didn’t try. Very crowdy at noon. Need to wait for queue around 20 minutes. There was no parking availble. Need to park roadside.

Hua Ro Market is an old market. There was a movie theater called Chalermsri, which was the best at that time. In many communities around the island city, there are Chao Phraya River, Pa Sak River, Lopburi River and a canal called Khlong Muang, which connect around like an island. Communities around the island city that are big and developed, such as Hua Ro Market, Hua Laem Market, liquor factory, Ban Yuan, Wat Phutthaisawan, Pom Phet, railway station, Hor Rattanachai Market. Going back about 70-100 years ago, it was a community that was like a port city where most people traveled, studied, traded vegetables, fruits, teak, logs, sand boats, water barriers, railways, and rafts up and down districts and provinces from the central region, the northern region, and down to Bangkok. Hua Ro Market is a distribution point for goods that are shops on land and rafts on the water to other districts and neighboring provinces. Most of the entrepreneurs are Chinese. Most of the Thais are civil servants, food vendors, gardeners, fishermen. Muslims are fishermen, weavers for carp, drivers, and barbers. Around the island city, there are mostly Thais, Chinese, and Muslims.

It's a cross between a market and a mall. An oldish arrangement of shops and houses under high domed roofs mainly made of glass panels, and open to two wheeler traffic .It's sensibly cooler here under the vaulted alleys than in the streets. But apparently not much frequented nowadays. Many massage salons (traditional) are hosted here too. Unfortunately no “cafés".

Thailand people love the market ! they love snacking in between meals and everything's healthy so they're not gonna get fat. You will love the market also , it is a polithra of culinary experiences, there's all types of textiles available from shoes to shirts. Don't hesitate to come explore. It is a safe location, prices are already set as low as possible , so don't attempt to haggle, you are getting a great deal !

Great Local Night Market - we found it after taking a sunset boat trip - great street food - the eggy pancakes were superb, as were sweet pancakes, lovely fries, tasty little pasties(pastry and meat) and lots of sweet stuff! Clothes etc too.

Bustling, low key restaurant located near to the Chedi Wat Sam Pluem. The place is very popular, so you may have to wait for a table. There is no menu or pricing, the owner comes to the table to give you the options (you can check online for reviews of the restaurant to give you an idea). The dishes we ordered were pretty good, but we waited 60 minutes to get our food after ordering. A little over priced for what we ordered.

We stayed at the classic kameo hotel and were looking at Google maps for a place to eat. This restaurant is popular and only 10 min walk from our hotel. The food was really good and lucky for us that we weren't hungry because we had to wait 75 minutes to our order. I also found it strange that there is no menu so you must know what to order and still you have to wait for the end to know how much you need to pay.

It's just insane... I waited more than an hour for a bowl of soup. There is no menu, it's too noisy inside, and the soup serving is roughly 2 liters(see photos, hand for scale). And it costs equivalently. DO NOT COME HERE.

Another cozy place in town! Nice deco with seatings in the river bank and in door. A few drinks are very creative blending traditional Thai ingredients with coffee, tea, and others. Western (modified) and Thai foods are available and taste good. Friendly staff!

Not a good experience like we thought, we've been waiting 3 menus for an hour. They're having 2 groups 3 tables at the same time. Need to imprpve time management. By the time we asked the staff to check bill after getting first order, they suddenly came to inform that another 2 are in place and ready to serve in 5 mins! Recommend ppl who came here to check if it's packed with many ppl & tables or not. Otherwise, you will end up waiting more than an hour. The only few good things are foods are tasty & nice view indeed. The staff are friendly with service minded. They offered 5% discount + giving 2 cactus for free.

Not far from Kongkong market, but entrance is narrow and parking is a few. There are food, beverage and desserts. Especially, desserts is made from seasonal fruits. I went there in marian plum season, so marian plum espresso and tart were so good!

Delicious vegan food! You get some rice in your plate and then choose whatever you want between all the dishes proposed. Egg plants, tofu, soja, noodles, and so on! Possibility to eat spicy on demand! Food was really tasty, thanks to the owner for her kindness! Possibly to refill your water bottle.

A cute little all vegan shop/restaurant! The old woman who runs it is so sweet and even if she can’t speak English, she will let you taste the dishes to help you decide. Very flavorful real thai food, good portions for very cheap price. We loved it!

If you don’t speak Thai, just trust the owner. She recommended dishes for me and I accepted them, and they were very good!!! No idea what I ate but that’s part of the adventure.

Absolutely lovely vegan place with a wonderful lady working it! With our limited Thai and her limited English we pointed to the dishes we wanted and she even recommended me a different dish in case I wouldn’t like the initial one. Unfortunately due to covid the place doesn’t do dining in but we took our food to a park with our bikes and enjoyed it even more in the sun! Delicious and will go again if we are in the area

Small, but really good market. Had the best Pad Thai I ate in Thailand: check out the second last shop on the right. A boy helping his parents selling Pad Thai. You can also sit right there. Feels like family! Highly recommended :) as well as the coconut pancakes - try them with onion! Just yummy :-)

This market is always crowded since morning until night. And 7-11 nearby won't dissapoint you if you need more choises of foods or beverages.

This is really day market :). But this one is very small and at night is closed (we were about 8 pm and many of the stands were about to close.

The location is pretty accessible, just before leaving the main ancient city around of Ayutthaya. There are no parking lots available there, but everyone just parks at the road side. There are fans available at this joint, but still pretty hot. But this is just thailand weather. The boat noodles are good, both the beef and pork noodles. The pad thai is very normal, which i proposed that you can save your calories from that.

I visited while sightseeing in Ayutthaya. I was guided by the brother of the tuk tuk service. The noodles were very tasty. The soup in particular had a flavor I had never tasted before. It was very hot in Ayutthaya, but the food was appetizing and delicious. Thank you very much.
