Fine dining restaurant
Restaurant
Da Vittorio is a luxurious villa hotel located on the outskirts of Bergamo, offering refined rooms and 10-hectare grounds. The highlight of this establishment is its gourmet restaurant, where diners are treated to an exceptional fine-dining experience. The head chefs, who are part of the proprietorial Cerea family, provide cheerful guidance as a team of waiters attends to patrons.
The attention to detail and quality of the food is phenomenal. The restaurant is located in a spot that’s not very accessible by public transportation, though taxis are readily available. I didn’t realize there’s a hotel on-site, but I highly recommend staying there. The vineyard is stunning, and the chef’s attention and service are exceptional. The only drawback I noticed is that they could improve on cooking seafood. However, the pasta I had here rivals some of the best I’ve had in Italy.

Lovely setting and impeccable service, food is also very good ! I love every dish there, only one small point is the paccheti pasta with bread was served at the very last. So for me it’s a bit too much since I am like 101% full, but still the pasta is very tasty.
Vivienne H — Google review
We had a wonderful overnight experience at Da Vittorio in the junior suite. We arrived early and they were able to accommodate an early check in, and also brought a fan to our room when requested as AC wasn’t available during our time of year. We had a wonderful hike along the grounds prior to dinner. The American Bar had inventive cocktails and mouthwatering little appetizers prior to dinner, and dinner itself was outstanding. Loved the paccheri as others have mentioned, and had the best risotto of my life! Appreciate Da Vittorio for arranging us a great taxi to our next location as well. A truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Gayathri S — Google review
Amazing — our first three Michelin star restaurant experience! We enjoyed every dish along with its perfectly paired drink, and the service was flawless. The owners were present throughout the evening, making sure everything was just right. It truly felt like a slice of paradise, and we will definitely be back. Just be prepared — you will leave absolutely stuffed!
Menonita C — Google review
I had high expectations for Da Vittorio and the Cerea Family. Thankfully, my expectations were exceeded. The Cerea Family are superb hosts. They float through the dinning room, ensuring each guest has everything they need. When Bruna enters the room, she owns the space, unlike anything I've ever seen. The tasting menu was exquisite. Perfect blend of classic and contemporary. It was a privilege to dine, and stay with them. In addition, Bailey (Golden Retriever) was an adorable dining companion.
Tyler D — Google review
Da Vittorio is a high level 3 star that is consistently impressive across the entire tasting menu. My favorites were how they used white truffles and different Italian cheeses in a couple different stand-out dishes you don’t want to miss. I usually mostly care about the quality of food and service/atmosphere takes a backseat to that, but I really must say I truly felt taken care of here. They truly care and it’s really clear with each interaction they have with you. One small critique would be, similar to others I’ve noticed in Italy, would be a bit of improvement on the main dessert. It felt a little uncreative to us, but not a huge deal.
Conor H — Google review
I could write a lot about the restaurants, the rooms, the grounds of this amazing place, it can be summed up in two words, a .ABSOLUTLEY PERFECT Above the wonderful restaurants, from the breakfast room to the DAV restaurant and the jewel in the crown of the DA VITTORIO restaurant. The beauty of the complex, the rooms. Above all of this stands and radiates the warm and wonderful attitude of the CEREA family to the attention to the smallest details led by the mother of the family, Mrs. Bruna Cerea, through the chefs Enrico and Roberto who are her sons, and the rest of the family team and all the employees without exception who truly and innocently give you a feeling of warm family hospitality. They are the ones who make us without a doubt return here in the future
Ofer S — Google review
A truly unforgettable experience. We had been looking forward to visiting Da Vittorio for a long time, wondering if a three-star restaurant could live up to such high expectations. Not only were they met with ease — they were far, far exceeded. From the moment you walk in, you’re warmly welcomed by a large, attentive team. The setting is stunning: an elegant restaurant with beautiful décor, complemented during our visit by subtle and tasteful Christmas touches. Even the staff uniforms are impeccable — every detail is perfectly thought out. We were seated in a gorgeous dining room with beautifully set tables, and from that point on the experience only got better. We chose the 16-course menu and every single dish was, in one word, wow. The aperitif prepared at the table was a great start, followed by outstanding and sometimes surprising small bites. Portions are anything but small, and the menu is wonderfully varied, featuring house classics and specialties that truly shine. The level of service is exceptional. My dinner companion didn’t enjoy one of the courses (purely personal preference), and the hostess noticed immediately — without us even saying a word. She proactively offered an alternative dish on the spot. That kind of attention is rare and remarkable. The finale was just as impressive: during coffee, several dessert trolleys arrived at the table — filled with sweets, cookies, cakes, and teas. It was an overwhelming and delightful end to the evening. Yes, there is a price tag, but the experience is genuinely unforgettable. For the welcome, the team, the food, the drinks, and the overall atmosphere, it is absolutely worth it. A night to frame and remember. Thank you.

Italian restaurant
Nestled in the picturesque Gardone Riviera along the western shore of Lake Garda, Lido 84 is a culinary gem brought to life by brothers Giancarlo and Riccardo Camanini. This enchanting spot, surrounded by fragrant camphor trees, olive groves, and vibrant bougainvillea, serves as an inspiring backdrop for Riccardo's innovative Italian cuisine.
One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had Dining at Lido 84 was simply unforgettable. The setting is absolutely stunning – right on the lake, with some guests even arriving by boat (yes, that’s now on my bucket list). The location alone makes it special, but the food takes it to another level. We chose the classic 7-course menu, which gave us room to order their signature dish: Cacio e Pepe cooked in a pig’s bladder – a bold and delicious experience. Every course was perfectly crafted, starting with a glass of Italian sparkling wine that paired beautifully with the opening bites. The grand finale was dessert, served to be shared across the table – and just… wow. One of the best I’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was outstanding – food, service, atmosphere. If you’re anywhere near Lake Garda and love exceptional dining, Lido 84 is an absolute must.
Christian C — Google review
Many standout dishes that were both unique and exciting. Definitely a high-end one star, and better than most two stars I’ve been to. Their staple dishes are for sure hits, like the Spaghetti with yeast and Black Garlic Risotto. Also a great wine/sake pairing! I think my only critique would be some of the dishes felt like a bit of an afterthought, such as the mushroom dish. And the desserts weren’t quite up to Michelin standards.
Conor H — Google review
We have had a beautiful dinner there. Atmosphere was warm and cozy but I am sure the day time view will be stunning being right by the lake - the name Lido gives away its beautiful site. Chef R is very passionate about history and has a distinctive approach towards cuisine - we really enjoyed the details in his approach
Desmond C — Google review
Great restaurant with extremely beautiful view over the lake of Garda. Personnel is young, but professional. I appreciated the passion and dedication of the staff. Food is excellent. Steamed white fish and the mushroom dishes were my favorite. Risotto was also great even if the way it’s exhibited leaves me some perplexities (I know, it’s one of the signature dishes but what to do). The only dish that I personally found just ok is the Cacio e Pepe pasta that was definitely a quite average pasta (good, but nothing special). A specific mention I want to do is for the sommelier, because the wine pairing he prepared is by far the best one I ever had (and this is not my first Michelin star restaurant). It made everything so much better. Out of 5 wines (+ a sake) not a single one was off. Really a stunning job.
Marco — Google review
What a great place: authentic Italian recipies/ideas perfectly created. They bridge the gap between very down to earth ideas & kitchen and Michelin execution and presentation. Loved the crazy idea of ONE (!!!) piece of pasta combined with the greatest sauce ever ... but so much more to like than only the great food: young enthusiastic service, masterful restaurant management and great atmosphere directly at the lake --- a truly great evening and one of the best Michelin experiences I had in the last 30 years . THANK YOU!
Jay B — Google review
I had been waiting for over a year to book a weekend table at Lido 84, and finally, I managed to secure one with a beautiful terrace seat overlooking Lake Garda. We chose the 7-course traditional menu, which began with delightful welcome bites. Since I don’t eat oysters, I asked for a replacement and was served a delicate chard wrap instead a thoughtful and well executed alternative. Instead of the wine pairing, we opted for a Franciacorta Rosé, which paired perfectly with the entire meal. Of course, we couldn’t miss their iconic Cacio e Pepe an absolute must when dining here! I won’t go into too much detail about every dish (there are already countless photos and reviews online), but the real question is: Was it worth the long wait for a reservation? Absolutely yes. These days, there are many restaurants where you can enjoy outstanding food. What makes Lido 84 truly special is not just the cuisine, but the hospitality. The team genuinely understands what hospitality means: warm, attentive, never pretentious. The ambiance, the terrace, the service, the wine, everything came together seamlessly. And I could sense that the staff is treated with respect and care, which reflects in the way they serve and interact with guests. For me, still on my journey of culinary discovery, Lido 84 stands out as one of the most remarkable dining experiences I’ve ever had. The setting by the lake, the gentle breeze, the impeccable food, the wine, the kindness of the staff, and the company I shared it with, came together to create a memory that goes far beyond a simple meal. It was, in every sense, more than perfect.

Good experience but didn’t live up to the expectations of #16 in World’s 50 Best Restaurants. The pasta in pig’s stomach was interesting. Really liked the signature “Spaghettone, Butter, Butter Yeast” which is featured in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Sweetbread - ok.
Teo T — Google review
Absolutely stunning. I highly recommend a lunch time booking (outside if possible) to take in the best of this location. We opted for the 7 course meal and added the cacio e pepe which was so delicious. Incredibly attentive staff. Definitely deserving of its reputation.

Nestled in the heart of Mantua, Osteria della Fragoletta is a charming eatery that captures the essence of home-cooked Italian cuisine. With its cozy interiors and welcoming ambiance, this restaurant serves up an array of delightful dishes, including homemade pasta and hearty meat plates complemented by a selection of exquisite cold cuts. The attentive staff ensures you feel right at home while enjoying their superb wine list.
We just had an incredible meal at this local restaurant. The price-to-quality ratio was outstanding — generous portions, everything cooked to perfection, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. On top of that, the waiter and waitress were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. If you’re visiting Mantua, this place is an absolute must-visit!
Ferran B — Google review
The food is mediocre, not the best nor the worst. However we feel it’s a bit overpriced for what you get. This artichoke salad is about 14ish euro.

The fish was cooked perfectly with full flavor, the orange salad was also perfect. The people are also very professional ❤️

Definitely a place to go when in Mantua! It was recommended by a colleague and we went to have some lunch, DELICIOUS!!! A completely must! Service was like being at home, it can't get any better than that!
Facundo C — Google review
We were enjoying our day trip in Mantua but when hunger knocks on the door, you have to answer. We made a point to eat earlier in the day as most restaurants are closed after 2PM and probably reopens at dusk. Whatever you love about real Italian food, you will find something delicious here, a menu that consist a celebration of flavours and ingredients. We especially enjoyed Salame Mantovano with warm bread, Spinach salad with melon, shrimp with lime oil and sesame seeds. Primi: Pumpkin tortelli with melted butter and sage, a Traditional Mantuan dish with a little sweetness. We skipped Secondi to save room for one of their dreamy desserts. Indeed, one of the best Osteria if you are looking for truly authentic Mantuan cuisine. Friendly service and a charming, soothing ambience. The location away from the main square area has not affected its popularity among locals and tourists, come early or make a reservation.
Angelina C — Google review
I visited in October having heard great things about the tortelli di zucca. They did not disappoint, and neither did the other gorgeous hearty regional dishes I tried during my long lazy lunch. It’s a simple interior with supremely friendly service; as a solo traveller I value this highly, and the staff were really lovely. So much so that when I return to see a concert al Teatro Bibiena soon, I can’t wait to visit again.
Fran P — Google review
Everything was perfect in this historic place. First of all, we had no reservation and they took us in at 12. For the whole time being there we did not feel anything but being very welcomed. The food was amazing and its quality justifies the price. If we turn back we will make a reservation, grazie!

Ristorante La Punta is a charming restaurant located at the northernmost point of Bellagio, offering a scenic 10-minute walk from the town center and stunning views of Varenna and Tremezzo. The menu focuses on freshwater fish, featuring dishes like antipasto di lago and pate di pesce as excellent starters, while the baked lasagna and gnocchi with cream and Gorgonzola sauce receive high praise among the main courses.
Food was great and service was amazing! Glad I brought my family there during our quick stop at Bellagio. We ordered the beef fillet, spaghetti with tomato sauce, fish with rice, and I forgot the name of the salad. I had a local white wine they offered and my folks got the local rose. Very refreshing for a summer lunch drink, and the place is very spacious and bright. Staff were very friendly and helpful, too. So accommodating. 10/10 would come back again! :)

Nice ambience with the view of lake Como.service was very good. I have Rice with small fried fish, with butter and sage. It was beautifully plated. Rice is perfect. Although there were only few pieces of fish, it was delicious. We also order 1/2 bottle of chianti. My friend ordered ravioli and soup. A little pricey restaurant but its worth it.

We had the most wonderful lunch!! We were shown this gem by our tour guide and invited her to lunch. The restaurant overlooks the glorious Swiss Alps, has exemplary service and great food. I highly recommend this spot for a meal if you’re visiting the region.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A must-visit in Bellagio! Ristorante La Punta offers not only incredible views of Lake Como, but also a truly unforgettable dining experience. The setting is absolutely magical — perched right at the tip of Bellagio, surrounded by water and mountains. The food was outstanding. We had homemade pasta, and a perfectly paired bottle of local wine. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was warm, attentive, and professional — the staff made us feel truly welcome. Whether you’re coming for a romantic dinner, a family lunch, or just to enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine, this place is simply perfect. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!
Lola A — Google review
For the atmosphere alone, this is a worth while stop. The food was decent and the service was decent, however, the views from the lake are absolutely spectacular and truly deserve at least to stop for lunch. The menu was much less authentic than some other places in town and catered more to the tourism however, it was still a lovely meal with an even lovely view.
Alex H — Google review
The food is okay, the charge is 4 Euros per person, water is 5 Euros per bottle. If you’re coming for the view only, can consider taking away food and chilling in the same area with some benches. Or just walking here to see the view only. Ordered the lasagne, Tiramisu and Pasta
胡佳恩Jia E — Google review
I have this restaurant on my list. Could not book for dinner to enjoy the sunset so we booked for lunch. The booking process and our arrival was all well. For the food it was ok but in general below expectations in some dishes especially the local lake fish plate and some others are just ok. Maybe our expectations were high regarding the food which was not met to full satisfaction. The view is fantastic and service is ok. I was surprised for such restaurant to offer us discount of 10% if we pay in cash ?!

Vineria Cozzi is a quirky and original restaurant located in the heart of Citta Alta, operating since the 1840s. The restaurant features eclectic decor, with vaulted ceilings and an easygoing setting. It offers inventive cuisine and a wide selection of gin at the bar. Situated near Piazza Vecchia, it combines tradition and innovation through its excellent food and wine offerings.
Fine Dining for Everyone! Never thought we would stumble into a restaurant of this calibre. Dishes were beautifully crafted but the art was in the execution of the balance of the matchmaking of the ingredients that made my taste buds dance and my heart sing. My Dark Cocoa Tartlet (savoury) was divine!!! If I am ever in Bergamo or in Milan, I will definitely come back to this under-rated restaurant again. The service was excellent. Tita looked after us wonderfully!!

We stumbled across this little gem on a short trip to Bergamo. The restaurant is so welcoming and the decor is gorgeous. The wine section was great, the service was fantastic and the free antipasti with each glass of wine was to die for would highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely spot! I walked in by chance while exploring Bergamo and instantly fell in love with the cozy, home-style atmosphere. Super friendly and stylish staff, great food, and the idea of choosing your own bottle from the shelf and just paying the cork charge — brilliant! I’ll definitely come back again. 🍷✨

I dined solo for the evening. I walked in and asked for a table and was seated somewhere towards the back for a nice quiet meal. The music was a fantastic playlist to go along with the food. I had excellent service with the waitress taking care of me for my time there. She made some excellent recommendations for the evening. They have many gluten free options to choose from here. Reading some of the other reviews was unfortunate to read. I had the opposite experience with my visit to this place without a reservation and walking in. I will definitely dine here again if I’m the Bergamo area.

Disappointing Experience Despite High Expectations We visited this restaurant after reading several glowing reviews, hoping for a memorable meal. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfying. We ordered two dishes, both of which were underwhelming in flavor and presentation. The wine didn’t help either—it was equally disappointing. To make matters worse, we were charged €4.50 per person for service, bringing our total to €60. For that price, we expected much more. The portions were surprisingly small, so even if the food had been enjoyable, it wouldn’t have felt worth it. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but in this case, the value simply didn’t match the cost. Sadly, we left feeling let down and unlikely to return. P.S thanks for bread!

(Translated by Google) Cozy location and friendly staff. Content menu easily explained by the attention put into the dishes! We took 2 torrelli with wild herbs, butter and sage, 1 fillet of sea bass in a potato crust (very good), 1 portion of steamed vegetables, a portion of baked potatoes and 1 mixed salad. For dessert we had 1 tiramisu and 1 thousand "cravings" with strawberries and Chantilly cream. The bread and breadsticks (included in the cover charge) were also really good! To drink we had 2 waters and 1/2 liter of Lambrusco Mantovano wine. In total we spent €74... so good value for money. Advised! (Original) Location accogliente e personale cortese. In tutto abbiamo speso €74... quindi rapporto qualità-prezzo buono. Consigliato!

(Translated by Google) We were a group of 8 for lunch. Initially there were supposed to be 10 of us, but 2 defected at the last minute after we had already taken our seats. The staff rightly asked us to huddle together and leave the part of the table with the 2 vacant seats free, unfortunately, however, they did not change the tablecloth and plates even though some of us had sat in those very places and without masks. Personally I found it a serious lack of attention, especially in a time like this. We then took a platter of mixed cured meats (as a starter), very good, and a first course each (also very good). The desserts are good and plentiful.

The menu features rich, meaty options such as crispy Milanese cutlet and tortellini filled with braised meat in a Barolo-butter-Parmesan bath.
Always special, I love returning here! Pearched high on the hillside w/ a magnificent view of the lake, Il Gatto Nero maintains it charm over the years. This cozy romantic restaurant goes unspoiled even after countless seasons of being a local and a traveler's valued spot. The service is always genuinely warm and engaging. Their cuisine is exquisite and artful presented. A perfect SPECIAL experience.

We had such a fabulous dinner at Gatto Nero! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional!! The food was absolutely delicious, and the wine selection was perfect. Our waiter gave us excellent recommendations, and each dish was better than the last. The atmosphere was charming, and the view made it all even more memorable. We highly recommend Gatto Nero to anyone visiting Lake Como it’s a must-visit for an unforgettable meal! (The perfect date night spot if you’re traveling with your significant other!!)

Food: bland is the best review I can give. It was okay-ish. Absolutely not worth the price tag. Service: the service was adequate. Friendly enough. Big problem - I had told them it was our honeymoon and ask we be seated (IF POSSIBLE) by the window or the edge. They had said to get an earlier reservation and ask for it. Which I did. When we arrived, we were the first people there. They sat us in the very BACK. The furthest away from the view possible. They said they had reservations for the tables close to the view. That’s fine, if someone already got it - totally fine. BUT nobody came for those seats the entire time. There was actually only one other table there the whole time we were there. Huge let down on the service. For the price tag, I would have expected more attention to our accommodation. Really crappy to do. Right before we finished, an hour later, one couple showed up and took one of the 6 view-tables. I read the reviews but thought I would give them a chance - bad idea. Believe the reviews. There are so many better places for the money. Just go somewhere else.

Our best night in Cernobbio! The evening in Gatto Nero felt like a dream from the fairytale! From the first moment we had full attention from staff, great sommelier advices us perfect wine and the food was divine. Entire staff made us feel welcomed and home and took lovely pictures of us and gave us a tour of the entire restaurant, even tho some areas were closed. We were treated like VIP’s. Can’t wait to be back!

Good food with a stunning view! I went there with my family and had an amazing time. I love their asparagus creme Brule and the pumpkin soup. Their price is on the higher side, but giving the location it is understandable. If you're not on a tight budget definitely give it a try! Also, if you're traveling in a group, I suggest you book in advance.

The views are unmatched…but the food comes close. We were grateful to eat here when we couldn’t find parking in Como Town and this restaurant had parking AND availability for a last minute reservation request. We all enjoyed our pasta with views of Lake Como, would def go again!

We were genuinely excited to dine here, especially after hearing such great things about the view—which, to be fair, was absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, that ended up being the only redeeming part of our evening. We don’t typically write negative reviews or criticize service, but our experience from start to finish was deeply disappointing. We sat for over 30 minutes with menus before our server came over to ask if we had questions. When our server finally arrived, he didn’t introduce himself or even greet us. The first things he said was "Yes, I'm ready". When a member of our party tried to ask a question about a dish, he shouted (over the extremely loud music), “Decide because I can’t hear you.” We placed our entire order at once—cocktails, wine, and all courses—and the server walked off, dropping our menus loudly on a nearby table as he left. A short while later, he returned with cold bread and oil and vinegar, but we weren’t given any plates, so we had no way to eat it. We assumed he was waiting to serve the wine with the first course, but even once our food arrived, we didn’t have wine glasses. We had to ask for the bottle ourselves, and despite finishing it during the first course, we received no wine service at all—no refills, no check-in, and no offer of a second bottle. After the first course, we saw another server bring out our entrees, only to turn around and head back into the kitchen when he noticed we still had dirty plates on the table. Our main courses didn’t arrive for another seven minutes, and unfortunately, every plate was cold. My steak, ordered medium rare (see photo below), was served nearly well done, and the chicken dish was very dry and clearly overcooked. Throughout the meal, our server made several rude and sarcastic remarks, and we had to ask three separate times for bottled water before another staff member finally brought it. At the end of the evening, no one—our server, the host, or even the manager we spoke to while arranging our car—checked in to ask how our experience was. Overall, we were extremely disappointed. This was, unfortunately, an abysmal experience from start to finish. We had really hoped for a memorable dining experience, but sadly, it was memorable for all the wrong reasons.

We had a really lovely dinner, service by Luca was very good. I don’t give out five stars too often, think a solid four was the right outcome. The food was good, but not unforgettable, but the views - nestled as the restaurant is up in the hills above Cernobbio - were amazing. Just make sure you call and ask for a table on the terrace, or near the window on the top floor (we were tucked away on the lower floor, still enjoyed the environment, but diluted the view for us a wee bit). Had the tagliatelle with burrata, the chicken, the vitello tonnato and the tiramisu. Again, all were pretty good. Will defo come back.

On my initial trip to Italy, I had the opportunity to dine at Hosteria 700. Despite its unassuming exterior appearance, the interior of the restaurant proved to be stunningly beautiful. The staff members were exceptional in their service, and the cuisine served was truly delectable. This establishment deserves a five-star rating in every aspect. I highly recommend adding Hosteria 700 to your list of must-visit places if you appreciate authentic Italian cuisine.
Hosteria 700 is a beautiful dining experience. The staff are wonderful. The space is grand and welcoming. And, most importantly, the food is just incredibly good. I had one of the best risotti (with radicchio and Amerone wine) ever there, to say nothing of several other excellent dishes. I adore Cremona and I adore this Hosteria.

Hostaria 700 is an incredible dining experience! The ambiance is amazing—you truly feel like you’re eating inside a palace, surrounded by history and elegance. The quality of the food is excellent, with every dish beautifully prepared. Just keep in mind that it’s a bit on the expensive side, but the experience is definitely worth it!

A true hidden gem restaurant - excellent but was hard to find! I walked right past it as the sign is hard to see and it's surrounded by residential buildings. Definitely felt like a very authentic European restaurant, both in terms of vibrant ingredients and portion sizes. Beautiful decor that feels like a nobleman's parlor. We got some local specialties - cotechino sausage, marubini tortellini in 3 broths, and a cheese plate with mostarda fruit preserves. All 3 were fantastically composed dishes worth savoring. The cotechino was definitely the highlight. A wonderful taste of the local Cremonese cuisine, located near the Casa Stradivari if you're making a stop there. Highly recommended!

My first time in Cremona for my wife and myself, i have been told about this restaurant from a friend, i wish i knew this place before because the quality of the ingredients is absolutely above expectations, the waiters assisting at the table are knowledgeable and well prepared, no matter what you choose from the menu is worth to try, i do recommend to everyone even if could be considered pricy .

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been in the Emilia-Romagna region. I had the onion tatin with parmesan gelato & traditional marubini in meat broth. The onion tatin was unimaginably caremelized and the parmesan gelato does a perfect counterbalance. Marubini had just the right ratio of dough to meat in an unassuming broth which simply blows your mind upon your first taste. Simply amazing. I wish I stayed in Cremona to go once more. I also love the ambience which is very pleasant with lots of natural lighting.

My very first visit to Italy and i was taken out for a meal at the Hosteria 700 . i was told not to make any judgement by the exterior look to the place as the outside does not look like much at all. Everything about this place was five star. if you get the chance this is a must add to your bucket list.

La Grotta is a charming restaurant located in Bellagio, offering a cozy dining experience with its vaulted ceiling and delicious Italian cuisine. The menu features wood-fired pizzas, flavorful pasta dishes, and fresh lake fish. Known for its reasonable prices and authentic atmosphere, La Grotta is a hidden gem compared to the more touristy spots in the area. Guests are advised to arrive early or make reservations due to its popularity.
This restaurant was so good we ate here twice. Loved the pizza. Loved the seafood pasta. Loved the tiramisu! I had an unfortunate accident with my red sauce pasta and the lovely waiter was very kind to let me use a stain remover spray which worked wonders. It’s always busy so we came about 20 minutes to opening so we were first in the queue. Would highly recommend in Bellagio. Ciao

I visited La Grotta recently and managed to snag a table just before the dinner rush, which was a plus. The pizza and pasta were decent—solid, but nothing that blew me away or felt particularly memorable. The mussels, unfortunately, were a bit of a letdown; they tasted like the standard frozen fare you’d find at many other spots in town, lacking that fresh, live quality I was hoping for. On the bright side, the staff was quick and efficient, handling our order with speed and professionalism. Overall, La Grotta is a decent choice for a no-frills meal, especially considering the reasonable prices, though don’t expect a view or anything extraordinary. It’s a reliable option for a casual dinner, but it won’t leave you raving

We were there today with friends. We were looking for a classic Italian place and finally found one. Very tasty pasta, pizza, wine, and desserts. Good prices on the menu. Nice atmosphere. We definitely recommend visiting with friends!❤️

The food is very good and fairly priced, with the beef dishes standing out as truly excellent. The staff made an effort to be kind. However, unless you sit outside, the atmosphere is not very pleasant – the interior is poorly designed and feels hot and humid, as the air conditioning doesn’t work well. Overall, it’s a good place to eat, but not the right spot if you’re looking for a charming dinner.

If it's full you need to wait for ~20 minutes. In our case we found a table really quick. The price was okay and the food also. Not authentic Italian because the pizza was too thick. The mushrooms on my pizza were not fresh but from can but in summary delicious food if you do not expect Italian pizza with a nice crust.

We queued for like 20-minutes for this restaurant before they open as it suppose to be very good (4.3 google rated). 2-minutes before the restaurant opened, they suddenly placed a sticker on their board and informed everyone that there will be no pizza tonight. Went ahead to eat anyway. Turns out it’s the worst spaghetti I’ve ever eaten — and the worst part is, I found the worst spaghetti right here in Italy, not in some random third-world country.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful culinary experience in Bergamo, look no further than Mimì • La Casa dei Sapori. This charming establishment has been serving up traditional flavors since 1998, allowing guests to savor the essence of local cuisine right at home. With a menu that boasts an array of classic dishes, including mouthwatering tortellini and flavorful lasagna, it's no wonder this spot is popular among locals and visitors alike.
We had this restaurant recommended by our hotel reception on our arrival at the Hotel il Sole in Bergamo alta citta. The service is great and the staff are welcoming. The menu is small and is mainly local dishes, which meant we had to experiment. The result was an excellent meal in a great traditional restaurant exuding a super vibe. Great night, enough said.

Ah, Mimi. It’s a charming spot nestled within the Città Alta, where the warmth of the exposed brick and the inviting glow of candlelight create a truly lovely atmosphere. They’ve clearly put a lot of thought into showcasing the best of Bergamasco cuisine, with dishes that highlight the region's rich culinary heritage. The *casoncelli* were a delightful example, plump and flavorful, and beautifully presented. Each plate feels like a carefully composed tribute to local ingredients. And the wine list? A genuine highlight, a curated selection of Lombardy’s finest, each bottle telling its own story. It's a place where you can relax and truly savor the flavors of the region, accompanied by excellent wine and a genuinely welcoming ambiance. Mimi offers a lovely, refined experience, perfect for a memorable evening in Bergamo.

A huge thank you to our host and waiter, Mudillo, who was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. He went above and beyond to help us organize a surprise, making the evening even more special. The food was absolutely delicious — the octopus was perfectly cooked, the ravioli were rich and flavorful, and the tiramisu was the perfect sweet ending. It's known for its charming outdoor patio and unique interior dining room, making it a great spot to enjoy the Italian version of happy hour, known as aperitivo.

Lots of photos already submitted show the food and wine experience here. Unfortunately, my meat and cheese dish had been started before I could take a photo :o) We had the three wines taster, which were all explained for us. Slight issue here was the size of glass involved was not made clear, perhaps a misunderstanding. It's a shame that the service level dropped in that we were not offered desserts for quite some time after finishing our meat and cheese. Careful if you are seated against the wall as my wife's top was marked. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and seemed to be multi-lingual. Overall, the bar is a place worth a visit.

We really enjoyed our time at Cantina Follie. It’s tucked up between buildings along the main strip in Tremezzo. My husband and I shared two wine tasting flights - one whites and one reds. We let the server pick which wines went in the tastings and we were very pleased. We also had a mixed cheese board and really enjoyed it. While we were there, we chatted it up with the server (Leo?) and had such a good time, as he is quite funny. We chatted with the owner as well, Joost, which was quite nice. We followed the flights of tastings with a glass of our favorite one each and it was just perfect. We highly recommend stopping in. Delicious and very personalized service.

La Marianna is a renowned bar and pastry shop known for its delicious fiordilatte gelato enriched with large pieces of dark chocolate. Day trip to Bergamo, I stopped by to try Stracciatella (chocolate chip gelato). It is a birthday place of stracciatella. I am not big chocolate chip ice cream person. It was creamy and it was good. I wanted wafer cone, it is only come in 3 scoops, 4.50 euro. The wafer cone was okay. The other two favors were pistachios and strawberry. Stracciatella was the best of the three. Is it better than other gelato, not really.

A beautiful venue with disappointing gelato. My friend and I stopped by during our day trip to Bergamo. Having previously lived in Italy and being a lover of gelato she was keen to have some at the birth place of stracciatella. Unfortunately our gelato was very melted and turned to liquid very quickly. When we spoke to staff they were dismissive and insisted that was the consistency of gelato compared to ice-cream. When my friend explained that she had lived in Italy and eaten a lot of gelato in her time, they started to backtrack offering to replace one of the three flavours she had ordered as the other two were still quite soft. Disappointing to say the least.

Seta is a renowned Italian restaurant located in the Mandarin Oriental Milan, led by acclaimed chef Antonio Guida. The restaurant offers a contemporary twist on traditional Italian cuisine, with a focus on creative culinary techniques. Seta has garnered prestigious accolades such as Tre Forchette from Gambero Rosso and two Michelin stars. The elegant dining space features turquoise accents and provides guests with a view of the chefs at work in the theatre-style kitchen.
Having dinner at Seta is not just a meal, it is a food experience. Located inside the Mandarin Oriental, Seta delivers world-class service and unforgettable cuisine. The servers for our tasting menu were warm, attentive, and unobtrusive. Hospitality here has the same attention to detail as the food being served. Chef Antonio Guida and his team deliver a tasting menu nothing short of extraordinary. Each plate is as delicious to eat as it is beautiful to look at. It was seventeen courses, and we left full and happy but not overly stuffed. From pigeon to sea urchin to risotto to three courses of dessert featuring a special Easter bread, everything I ate was unique, delicious, and prepared in a creative way. Seta should be a destination for everyone. Chef Guida and his team have created a celebration of flavor and hospitality that will leave a lasting impression with you. The meal was not inexpensive (it was rather expensive) but it was definitely worth every penny. It is not hyperbole to say dinner was spectacular.

Amazing restaurant, fully in line of what you would expect from 2 stars. Elegant setting, polite service and amazing food. We took the standard menu and they were kind to allow us to swap some dishes and replace them with a la cart. My number one dish if I had to give rating was spaghetti with sea anemone and prawn tartar equally great was the signature risotto with strawberry and herbs. Then blu lobster but basically every dish was wonderful. Desert was a highlight too. Thank you Seta team for an unforgettable experience.

We book last minuite for this place as usual since we have unpredictable schedule in life. So we have the internal spot overlooking the gardens. Service ; The service is a bit lack of professional since we have to ask for wine menu after we decided not to take the wine pairing. Amazing food in a stunning dinning space. Our first time here so had to try the classic tasting and it was fantastic. Definitely want to come back again and try the seasonal tasting menu for our next visit. All the dishes were great but my favourite was definitely the eel and foie gras dish
Dan L — Google review
The amuse bouche was already setting up the expectations and the chef did not fail to meet them. Lobster was tender and fresh just the portion was so small it was so good😭 sourdough was warm and crunchy sticks were buttery and well salted. The signature risotto combined a lot of flavors: cheesy, herby, and a little tangy and fruity from the raspberry powder. Lovely touch so that it’s not overly cheesy and heavy. Foie gras and eel combo was perfection. Eel was tender with the sauce while foie gras was also tender with fattiness goes down so smoothly while still having the original flavour of each ingredient. I can taste them separately in my mouth but also together. Chicken breast was not super special just cooked well and kept the tenderness instead of being dry but that’s expected at a two star Michelin. The pasta was a little too al dente but the chef made it for it by giving the uni ice cream. Wow. Seafood flavours preserved with sweetness from sugar but also uni itself. The sea grapes also added a crunch to it. Palate cleaner was refreshing. Mille feuille is buttery and crispy although the first bite of the ice cream threw me off. The after taste is refreshing though. I think this is the best petit four I’ve ever had. No misses. Peach chocolate had real bits of peaches so aromatic. Milk chocolate had a good crunch. The pine nut cake had lemon drops on it. I like how the chef balances out sweetness/saltiness with tanginess super refreshing. Lastly the chocolate banana bite was so rich. The service is impeccable: I sneezed and a tissue box was handed to me.

An excellent dinner with slick and professional service. To start felt a little rushed ir too “rehearsed”, but took an easier pace after a couple of courses. The staff were very professional and welcoming, without impeding in any way. We did request additional breadsticks when asked if we wanted them, which never appeared…..also we were second to last in the dining room at end of night and staff were starting to “hang around” which took a little off the “professional effect”. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and they brought a special desert and a balloon, which was a lovely touch. Was unfortunate see that the requested dress code was entirely ignored by one table who had t-shirts, shorts and flip flops🤯 Overall a fantastic meal in a super refined and classy environment.

Nestled within the charming warren of the Città Alta, it's a place where the aperitivo hour feels less like a prelude to dinner and more like a main event orchestrated by a particularly enthusiastic maestro. They don't just offer snacks; they present a veritable stage production of nibbles. Think tiny, artfully arranged plates of local cheeses that sing of the Lombardy pastures, cured meats that whisper of ancient traditions, and olives that pop with the briny zest of the Mediterranean. The drinks, of course, flow with an Italianate elegance, each glass a carefully chosen partner to the culinary symphony unfolding before you. It's a place where you can happily lose track of time, surrendering to the gentle hum of conversation and the sheer, unadulterated joy of good food and drink. They have clearly worked out that the combination of location, and high quality produce, is a winning one.

10/10 - amazing cheese, super engaged and professional service, nice terrasse with heating (and blankets), great vine. I don’t understand 3.8 in Google evaluation! This spot is definitely a 4.8! 😊👍

Went to Donizetti at the end of January. The food was spectacular, the local wine pairing was amazing and their desserts oh, but oh so good! We also enjoyed our server who was very nice, on top of things and knowledgeable. Ordered the Casoncelli, the Polenta e formai e speck, and the Spedo di Manzo. Everyone loved their meal!
Roxana N — Google review
Its all about the food. Decor is comfortably rustic in a setting that is almost more out than in on a warm September evening. A variety of traditional pasta dishes with a very local vibe and seasonal ingredients. The charcuterie and cheese is a delight. I had a pasta dish which was so good I ordered the same again, fortunately the staff were happy to provide a child's portion at a reduced price or I would have exploded. I followed this up with a cheese platter of 6 different local cheeses which I shared with my wife. They were all excellent and craftily arranged in strength order from mild to challenging. Probably the very best cheeses I have eaten in the last 10 years and I love cheese. We had a starting glass of local franciacorta sparkling wine with a bottle of robust local red for the pasta and cheese. Altogether a memorable meal in a memorable place. You can find cheaper places to eat in Bergamo Alta, but I doubt you will find better.

The Casoncelli are delicious. Good wines. A bit too pricey, but therefore you will have a table under a beautiful pavillon!

This trattoria is hidden away but makes up for it with a classic menu of well prepared dishes that focuses on seafood and freshwater fish. The food is delicious and the service is friendly and helpful.
A long established restaurant for 34 years. The decoration speaks volume of it. The food quality was high and the service was exemplary. The fried sardines were just rightly made and the spaghetti was palatable. They had the salad mixed on the a tray beside the dining table. Very enjoyable lunch.
Les Y — Google review
Really poor food. The mixed fried fish came with hardly any fish. Was mainly squid and mini octopus. Dry and flavourless. The mixed vegetables were so bad for €6.50 too. My partners risotto was also lacking flavour so she had to smother it in parmesan. Really disappointed as others food looked great. Was we unlucky to order two bad meals? But if they're bad they shouldn't be on the menu at all. As risotto lovers and seafood lovers it should have been right up our street. Disappointed to say the least as there are so many options around we could have gone to.

Wonderful humble restaurant with reasonable prices in the middle of the tourist area. Good service, easy-going atmosphere. We took risotto red chicoree that was great Salat Pizza that was good Sea bass fillet with citrus that was amazing Bottom line- recommended

Decent food, nothing special. It’s a fish restaurant, but my seafood ravioli seemed to have barely met any seafood – it was very tasty nonetheless. Our youngest got a simple plate of pasta with cheese, which he really enjoyed. Staff was very friendly and service was quick. Small sidenote: there’s no outdoor seating or terrace.
Maite R — Google review
Visited twice on our stay in Sirmione because the service is unmatched. Food was just delicious and fresh. Freshly tossed salad and skinned fish table side. Try reserve a table if you want a specific time, otherwise if you’re flexible like we were, it was fully booked upon our arrival, returning 30mins later for a free table and it’s be worth it. Beautiful seafood dishes that hit the spot just right. Aldo (if I remember correctly) was the perfect waiter who showed what great hospitality should be. We will be back

Nestled in a quaint alleyway, this traditional Italian eatery serve up a good hearty lunch with well priced menu. When you're near the lake, indulging in seafood is a must, and this restaurant didn't disappoint us. Their pasta and risotto dishes featuring fresh seafood were simply delicious. And they take their salad seriously, serving generous portion with well-prepared dressings. Definitely worth a return visit.

My wife and I stopped by Al Pescatore for lunch while touring Sirmione on a day trip and were not disappointed. The restaurant was busy but we were greeted with a smile and seated promptly. We got the sautéed octopus and polenta to start off with and we both enjoyed the dish. It was simply made with grape tomatoes and capers but the octopus had a delicate flavor. For the main courses, my wife ordered the seafood pizza which came loaded with seafood. It was really hearty so I had to help her finish it but I didn’t mind at all. I ordered the grilled mixed fish that came with prawns, salmon, bronzini and some other fish (didn’t bother to ask but it was good and no, it doesn’t say what it is on the menu). It comes a la carte so I ordered the mixed grilled vegetables. That came with zucchini, eggplant, a large tomato, and endive (it was a little bitter so that’s what I think it was). I wanted to try their tiramisu but helping my wife finish her pizza spoiled those plans. Overall food and service were very good!

Ristorante Berton is a modern and elegant dining establishment located in the Porta Nuova Varesine district amidst the futuristic skyscrapers of New Milan. Renowned chef Andrea Berton's culinary expertise shines through in the meticulously prepared pasta, meat, and fish dishes as well as refined tasting menus. The restaurant's minimalist setting perfectly complements its clear and balanced cuisine, which emphasizes the purest expression of each ingredient without unnecessary embellishments.
Definitely great place to eat with outstanding service. We had a signature menu (which consists of their very best dishes as I understand) and also business lunch, everything was very good, but not everything was WOW. Risotto from business lunch was much better than pizzaiola risotto from signature menu, roasted eel has deeply dissapointed me (I'm a big fan of unagi). Desserts from signature menu were not good enough while chocolate cake with mint sorbe was very surprising. In general we enjoyed our meals very much, bust expected a little bit more from this highly rated place.

Nice food but bad service! The food is explorative but the service is very poor. They don’t explain the courses, they don’t check if everything is okay and they don’t even thank you when you pay the bill! Unfortunately, there are significantly better. Customer service costs nothing - which makes it hard to defend.

Magnificent experience and flavours. Extraordinary interior and design. Service was extremely fast and helpful. Food of extremely high quality and mouthgasm indulgent. Selected a pre made menu for €160 and got a lot more plates in-between than menu stated - free of charge! Menu states 7 courses but we received 10 rounds overall of appetizers and food. Me and my partner are so full and we eat big portions at home. Highly recommend. We also received chocolate hazelnuts in a little bag on departure which I thought was charming.

I came here on my last evening before flying out from Milan the next day! I went to Milan for a week, and this is a really special find for a perfect evening. I arrived on time and immediately sat down at my table by a very friendly hostess, the table was cosy and intimate with a good view of the restaurant. I was on my own, but I knew I wasn't going to feel on my own. I went for the tasting menu, and I paired it with a really nice white wine. My waiter was really attentive and really looked after me and was very friendly. The food was excellent, the service exceptional. Come here if you want a really good, solid restaurant with an amazing atmosphere and friendly staff.

We wanted to try Ristorante Berton because it was on the Eater list and it did not disappoint. There were 3 tasting menu options and we chose the not only soup option. Though we did want to try all of them. Basically each dish came with some type of soup/consomme. We have never been to a tasting menu where each dish had a shot of consomme. It's a very unique experience. Chef Berton was there and at the end, we did get to meet him and share one last bite with him. That was a very pleasant surprise to a great meal The staff was very attentive and made our evening very enjoyable. Highly recommend coming here!

Really one of the best restaurants I have ever been! You can definitely tell that they deserve a Michelin star. The food was so creative and freshly made, I was amazed by every bite. I really enjoyed how much effort was put into every single dish and how well the spices and ingredients balanced each other. The staff was very friendly and explained every dish in detail. They were also very open to questions and recommendations, which we all really enjoyed. It was truly a great experience and I would definitely do it again!

First time eating at a Michelin starred restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was beautiful and very flavorful. It did take a while to get some of our dishes and to even have the previous plates removed from our table. This was unexpected and made the dinner a little lengthy. Overall great experience though.

Osteria dell'Orologio, located at Via Butturini 26 in Salo, is a renowned tavern on Lake Garda Brescia. The establishment boasts a loyal clientele, including visitors from Bavaria and beyond the Alps. The interior exudes a charming ambiance with three cozy rooms where patrons can savor both the cuisine and the convivial atmosphere during aperitif hours.
Ok we need to talk about this family run restaurant in Saló. For starters the interior and atmosphere takes you back a few centuries, even though it only opened in 2008 under this family ownership as we were told. It’s designed really thoughtfully and it definitely brings homey vibes. Then the staff. You’ll be greeted by the owner and his wife and served by their two sons and some other family friends. We’ll talk about food a little later but the chef is also a family member, the owner’s brother. The wine! Expect an extensive list of 1000+ labels, from amazing Italian wines to beautiful Champagnes and the rest. It’s a goldmine! Owner’s son Felipo is very knowledgable and passionate about it so talk to him if you need any good reccos. Now the food. Amazing all round but there’s one thing that we can’t stop talking about.. their Strawberry Panna Cotta! OMG this something out of this world. We came back the second day just for that (and some more wine). Go make yourself a favor and try it for yourself. Also, there’s pictures of the legendary football (soccer) player and now manager Pep Guardiola all over the restaurant. We were told that this restaurant has for years been his regular Monday dinner spot and that he’s now a personal friend with the owners. I’m sure he had been coming back for that Panna Cotta!! Go and indulge yourself.

Sought this place out having been in Salo 6 years ago, downstairs was full so we were seated upstairs and room was pleasant. Food was still great, beautifully presented and very tasty - as good as they look in the pics. Average pasta dish is around €15 but well worth it.

We ordered 1 vegetarian starter and two vegetarian dishes, neither of which was special. They were just OK. The zucchini flower starter was basically 3 tiny flowers for 16 euros. Overpriced and underwhelming. We ate but would not go again or recommend.
CamillaP — Google review
The service was good and we liked the interior. The food, however, was disappointing. Both pastas were too salty and didn’t have a lot of taste to them. The appetizer (burrata with anchovies) was way too expensive for the amount. The tiramisu was too sweet and was merely served on a plate with nothing else on it.

Lastresa is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Stresa, where its unassuming exterior gives way to a chic and stylish interior that invites you in. This vibrant eatery offers an impressive menu featuring seasonal ingredients, with standout dishes like the sweet 'Piemonte' and homemade pasta that are sure to delight your palate. The restaurant caters well to various dietary needs, including options for those with celiac disease.
Amazing food , super friendly and kind service staff. Big compliment to the Chef Andrea, he is amazing , I was here for summer and in autumn so I got to try the different menu. The fresh ingredients and his excellent cooking skill just level up the food. From fish to meat , even their homemade dessert , every dish was amazing. This restaurant is totally the gem in Stresa and I will always return every time when I visit Stresa.

Disappointing experience - where do we even begin! Asked for still water, got a bottle of fizzy water of the brand “Bolle Stille” (€4). We thought it wasn’t a big deal if the food was ok. Ordered a red prawn carpaccio (€24) as starter, and 2 pastas. Carpaccio was flavourless but smells very fishy (and we’re no stranger to seafood / sashimi / sushi). The 2 pastas (smoked trout €22, vongole €25) were so salty you’d need a kidney dialysis if you finish the whole thing. We kept having bread to cleanse our palate. Pastas were not freshly made. Price is astonishingly disproportionate to the poor quality of food. Finally, I might overlook the fact that the antipasti was served at the same time as the 2 pastas if they didn’t charge €4 each for service.

Delicious, delightful. It was a dreary, rainy afternoon and the restaurant was a good respite from the weather. My husband had the venison ragú over tagliatelle with a blueberry sauce. I had the sea bass with potatoes. Both were delicious. We started with a pumpkin flan which we would recommend. The wait staff were attentive, engaging and put up with our poor attempts at Italian. It was a wonderful afternoon.

We came to Stresa for a day trip and we had the luck to find this place. We had a great dinner, the place got busy, and like us, everyone came without booking but anyways the waitresses, they did a great job in looking after us. The wine list was incredible and for everyone pockets, we bought a very good wine bottle for less then 30€. The food from the starters to the desserts was delicious!! The fondue with pumpkin tart and radicchio was an incredible balance of flavours! I can just recommend you to go and try! Thanks to all the staff, it was a great time 🙏

Fresh seafood, very friendly service! I can highly recommend the Tartar and the black Pappardelle with seafood. The portions were good (each had a starter and main) for us. When asked if I can have the pasta without meat (bacon) for me, it was no problem - I appreciate it! Also the waitress made space for our stroller and we felt very welcomed with a baby.

Food was good, unfortunately writing this because service was appalling, the kind where you’re made to feel sorry for existing. I’m speaking on a young waitress and I just hope staff is trained better in the future- we were actually shocked at her shamelessness in getting us in and out of there in under 1 hour with coldness and glares, when the restaurant wasn’t even closing yet according to their hours. They made a res for us earlier in person for 9pm, we showed up for dinner at 9pm, and were nothing but chill, quiet, and decisive. But immediately started to feel rushed and uncomfortable like we did something wrong. Trying to take away plates so quickly/while clearly not done, telling us kitchen closing when we had like 4mins with the menu, and lingering and rolling eyes when we said we were still working on something. She literally changed into her comfy clothes and shut the door to inside that was right next to our table, and then stared at us while talking about us while we finished our wine for 3min after paying. This was at like 9:55 and restaurant closes at 10:30? Even when I looked at her she kept staring, clearly just trying to act nasty. We got 2 entrees and 2 glasses of wine. Nothing crazy but apparently we committed a crime. Glad other service workers in Stresa showed us kindness and patience- stinks our 1 dinner had to feel like that. Ciao!

Nice cosy restaurant off the main thoroughfare. Interesting cafes and shops this way. Friendly welcoming wait staff. I had the pappadelle with prawns, my friend had the vegetable ratatouille with burrata, both delicious with just the right flavours. The pastas are all homemade and they use 100% local produce. Nice respite from the crowds and the heat.

Highly overrated restaurant. I expected much more after seeing the score and the reviews. The flavors just didn't play well together. We had 3 dishes and all of them were disappointing: 1. Tuna tartar - the black rice just didn't go with the fish. 2. Meat ravioli - the meat was dry and had bad texture. 3. Risotto - the pear jam was wrong in that dish and the bacon was too hard (and not crispy). The staff was nice, the prices average.

It was a fun experience, although the box opening ceremony was my least favourite part. Food itself was just amazing, especially the desserts. Restaurant seems to be very spacious and romantic, despite being in the rather small old building. Staff was very nice maybe bit too official, the lady with glasses is the best ☺️ The pieces were unexpectedly conversation starters and we had an amazing time, can't say it was not worth the money.

Excellent service and food quality. The taste of the dishes is truly inspiring, and the interior decoration is very impressive. Although Sirmione is generally a noisy place, this restaurant is located on a quiet street, offering a peaceful atmosphere. Had a phenomenal dinner there last night 6/25/22. We had the 5 course chef's tasting menu with a lot of additional courses. All courses were good to great with exceptional lamb chops (the most tender we've had and addition of cheese was a surprisingly good addition. Also sea scallop crusted in squid ink and potatoes was amazing. All presentations were certainly stylized and added to the fun. My wife appreciated the mini ottoman they provided for women to place their purses. This was a memorable meal. Luxurious (lots of truffle and one with caviar) was seafood heavy as well. Most diners we observed were Italian as a minor footnote to some who offered this as a 'touristy' location. If you have the means and the time, it is worth a visit. We'll deserved Michelin star.

This was a great restaurant; loved the risotto. Certainly quite creative visually. The service was excellent, but slowed down towards the end. Too much bread. Osteria Al Bianchi is a long-standing establishment in Brescia, run by the Masserdotti family since 1976. The rustic decor adds to its charm as it serves up homestyle local delicacies such as casoncelli stuffed pasta and melt-in-the-mouth costata alla griglia. This humble eatery offers good ingredients cooked simply, with options like malfatti al burro versato and delicious homemade salami.
Great food and atmosphere. This is one of the oldest and most authentic restaurants in Brescia. Everything I tried was delicious. I really loved the beef in olive oil and their Casoncelli and other pasta dishes. One dish that really stood out was actually the Lumache (snails) appetizer on a bed of turnip puree sprinkled with shavings of egg yolk - try it and thank me later. Great wine selection, low prices and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Brescia was a stopover for us on our way from Genoa to Munich. While still on the road, we used ChatGPT to find out what was worth seeing and doing during a short stopover here, and we received a recommendation to visit the Osteria al Bianchi. Luckily, we were able to get a table outside and met a very friendly and attentive team who gave us good advice. The pasta dishes were delicious, the tartare was very good, and the sbrisolona was a wonderful finish. Our meal was accompanied by the restaurant's own Lugana wine, which we can recommend. An excellent recommendation that we can only endorse!

They will ignore you if you speak English. We were sat in an empty dining room. We decided to go to Brescia, the Server Avenger Paolo wanted to show your God where he was raised and saw someone having fun in a corner with everyone watching. We went to Osteria, the best place to eat, which it's completely true, The Avenger as you know doesn't have meat for quite some time, so he asked everything in the menu to kick things off, we could see his eyes shining, the same eyes that signed the divorced papers, but this time very happy. He commented that it's even fresher inside than outside and added "I guess I'm not the only one that can control the temperature" Even happier when he saw 4 people serving us, he said "people are really happy by having me here, I really make the difference in people's lives, enjoy the gift of Mendes" The last horse he had was his wife, and this time he tasted horse meat and loved it, he even imitated the horse sound while people in the room clapped and cheered for him - best meat ever he stated Desert time and of course again, give me all of them, he even got confused when people asked if he was sure, but also your Avenger controls his own metabolism, so why not! After we left he was as happy as a baby born and people made the hall of fame just for him, and even one kid gave him a Baggio shirt, he risked his name and asked The Impulsive to sign to t-shirt! Bless Mendes, bless the town, and that kid is going to be sane forever!! Abbiamo Pedro!

It is the pleace where you never come back. Despite you had good or bad experience. Never go hungry to this place 😉 you will go out hungry😬 Besides, if you order starter for €17, you still pay €28 for it. It is a minimum order amount. What?!

La Vineria is a local institution located near Piazza della Loggia in Brescia, Italy. Despite its small and empty ground floor, most guests prefer the busier, larger basement for its classical and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant offers delectable regional cuisine served at al fresco tables under a portico or in a classy dining room with vaulted ceilings. Visitors can enjoy an affordable lunch menu with three courses for sixteen euros. The staff is welcoming and efficient, providing excellent service.
We often plan a trip to Brescia just to visit this restaurant. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is warm, and the staff are always incredibly kind. We travel with our dog, and she is welcomed as if she were a guest herself. We’ve been coming here for years, and every visit feels like the true start of our holidays. I highly recommend trying their casoncelli bresciani, artisanal pasta stuffed with Bagòss cheese. It’s absolutely delicious and unlike anything else. Another must-try is the braised beef cheek cooked in olive oil. I suggest ordering it with potatoes for the perfect pairing. This place is a gem, and I can’t wait for our next visit !!

We stopped for a lunch after searching a nice cozy affordable place to eat. Very welcoming staff, great atmosphere and lunch offer. I highly recommend this place. We took two lunch menu’s, water and white wine. Lunch was only sixteen euros for three course’s. The food was average and tables were cheap looking (though it is expensive place in general) Location is in the center - you can see plaza from the terrace.

Not bad but lunch special very plain and straightforward. Good price, though. 15 euros for entree, main, wine and coffee.

Last time I went there it has not been the best dinner I had. The food quality was good but the waiting time has been really long. I'll give it a 3 star because I should try at least one more time before giving an harsh comment. Next time!

A very disappointing evening! We arrived when they opened and came due to their positive reviews. The starter was ok, but the moon shaped pasta with olives, burrata and prawns was boring. After reading other posts, we just chalked this up to a bad night or dinning too early.

Not great for vegans. It's not difficult to make something like spaghetti with tomatoes garlic chili mushrooms and zucchini or something... The waiter kept asking me if it was OK that they would make me this or that - I realized later it was because they had no idea how to make good vegan food. IT'S NOT THAT DIFFICULT. Just search recipes online. I was given spaghetti with tofu and a CURRY SAUCE. So awful. 😔 Great restaurant for non-vegans but not for me. Shame as it has great reviews.

Quality lunch on a recent Sunday, ate outside and was treated with great friendliness and efficiency by the staff. Highlight was a basil risotto with scallop, and local fish, served simply with a light crust and asparagus. Good selections of wine (recommend the Lugana). Excellent value and location.

Nestled in the heart of culinary tradition, Osteria Al Gigianca is a modern tavern that beautifully marries contemporary dining with a deep respect for local ingredients. Under the stewardship of Andrea Paleni and Gigi Pesenti, this charming eatery champions small-scale producers, many of whom are recognized by Slow Food Presidia.
We tried the longest tasting menu for the early lunch. We loved the pumpkin starter, mushroom risotto, ricotta mousse and orange wine underlined with amazing energy of lady waitress. (They really chose a right person) . We started eating on our own in the whole space but shortly it was a full house. Sometimes we had a feeling that the potential of some meals wasn’t really squeezed to 100% but the beautiful decor and vibes of this non really touristy place made our day unique. Next time we would go for dinner instead of lunch 😊

I had the Tradizione tasting menu and everything was delicious. The pasta was super tasty, the fish was really fresh, and each dish looked beautiful too. You can tell they really care about what they serve. The wine was also great and matched the food perfectly. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the place has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Big bonus: it’s dog friendly! If you're in Bergamo, definitely worth a visit.

The location in Bergamo is average, but the interior is carefully chosen. We visited the restaurant as a family of six. The Italian cuisine is local, very tasteful and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the traditional menu (5-courses with the restaurant signature dish - pasta). The service is very friendly and helpful. The pice is little above average, but justified by the quality & creativity of the dishes we had. We will visit the place in Bergamo again.

After reading some good recommendations of this place, we went for lunch a Saturday afternoon. There were plenty of space when we arrived. We received a warm welcome from the waiter, who spoke good English language. We both had the beef tatar and the famous pasta dish from the region Casoncelli. Both dishes were served quickly and were both wonderful. All in all a very good experience and we can really recommend the place.

Restaurant
Restaurant Il Cigno - Trattoria dei Martini is a historic dining establishment located in the heart of Mantova. Housed within a 16th-century noble residence, it exudes an atmosphere that seamlessly combines old-world charm with modern sophistication. The culinary philosophy revolves around offering a renaissance of taste, focusing on the union of food and wine to evoke delightful emotions.
5 stars for a unique experience. After trying to get a table at 8 different places, we wandered in disbelief into Il Cigno, our ninth try. A last-minute cancellation had made it possible, we had a table. Lucky us. As you walk in, you realize that you're entering into much more than just a restaurant. It's a carefully crafted experience. The moment you cross the door, you are greeted by an elegant and experienced maitre d' who escorts you in. After neatly hanging your jackets, you are led into the main dining room, stunned by the spaciousness of the beautifully decorated historic space. The place comes gently to life with Venetian vases, early 20th-century paintings, and blossoming orchids. A unique theatrical set that gets you into the positive mood required for what it is to come. As a starter, we had the 'culatta' and a salad made with endives and capers. The mains were a mix of pasta: Tortellini di zucca, Agnolotti with brodo, and tagliatelle. All beautifully homemade and humble in their taste. We also tried a traditional dish made with pickled chicken. The dessert was the cherry on the cake, cheesecake with strawberry sauce. A smile emerged; somebody had put their heart into preparing it. But my review would not be complete without a special mention of the team of waiters who delivered the experience. A thoughtful team that matched the rhythm of our dinner to the best classical music. The execution was pristine, with all kinds of details contributing to making our experience truly memorable. I hope that if you happen to stop in Mantova, you get to enjoy it too.

Every detail was perfectly attended to. The food was the best we’ve had in Italy. We would definitely drive an hour to eat here again. Also there is a medium sized parking lot right in front of the restaurant. We stopped here on the way home to Verona from a day trip.

We spent such a nice evening in this fairytale of a restaurant on our first night in mantova. This is a restaurant-lovers dream! If you look at the reviews, you'll see that my wife (Amy) reviewed them last week and me this week ... that is because we returned just one week later for our second visit to Cigno (and it is an hour drive for us). The food is impeccable - think Michelin restaurant level, and the restaurant is beautiful with outdoor patio seating and inside seating. Food and decor aside, it is actually the service that will win you over. The team is just absolutely amazing! We cannot wait to return.

One of the best restaurants in Mantova. Il Cigno is simply one of the best restaurants in the city - historical venue nicely decorated, great service and excellent food. The menu is based on historical recipes of Gonzaga family, presented in a modern and elegant twist. Wine list well curated. Beautiful garden. Prices are higher than the average, but the value for money is great. Extremely recommended.

Beautiful dishes and quality ingredients. Very creative—deserving of a Michelin star. The highlight is the old building and the incredible restaurant vibe. I loved every moment there. I also appreciate that they allow you to order any dish from the tasting menu à la carte if you don’t want to do the full tasting menu due to time or portion size. I tried the "ramen no ramen," which was very good but had a small portion. The taste was excellent. The eel dish my partner had was also very good. Service was top-notch, with detailed explanations of every dish. I had to ask them to explain in English because everyone else at the table was Italian, and they accommodated me perfectly. Thanks for the great experience. I highly recommend this place.

Typical Osteria, traditional local food - simple and super delicious! The atmosphere is nothing impressive but it felt very local and authentic, that's why the five stars. Do not expect anything fancy, but prepare to lick your plate.

Extraordinary food at a place that embodies what an osteria can (and should) be. They do not take reservations and there's a short wait until you can be seated for lunch. While you wait, you can take a picture of the day's menu written out on a blackboard. We didn't have to wait long, and we shared a communal table with a pair of lunch goers. Gorgeous, simple, seasonal, local dishes made perfectly. The house reds, and in particular, the lambrusco, were a perfect complement to our lunch that included savoury crepes, fettucine with seasonal greens, polenta and local fish. Desserts featured an apple cake and chocolate budino. Highly recommend if you happen to be in or even near Mantova (Mantua). And, if you're not, plan a trip so you can stop here for lunch. It's worth it! (pictures show the end of lunch service: when we arrived it was full)

Authentic, good cuisine, daily menu written with chalk on a board; wonderful people working there and very fair prices. You can get dishes that are less common elsewhere. Don't expect an English menu, but instead expect that people from neighboring table will recommend you what to eat. It was a wonderful cross-table conversation/experience (i was there for lunch). Overall a nice place, good cuisine. But way too expensive considering the village where the restaurant is, that is in the middle of nowhere. You cannot price it as if you were in Milan.
G S — Google review
The cuisine delights with the impeccable quality of its dishes: plates are meticulously presented, and the menu offers a fine array of flavors. Portions, though slightly modest, remain elegant and refined. The terrace, overlooking a charming square, adds an extra touch of charm to an already welcoming setting. While nothing detracts from the culinary merits, the experience is somewhat diminished by a lack of warmth in the service: staff were seldom smiling and showed little inclination to guide diners in their choices. A pity, for without this shortcoming, the moment would have been truly enchanting.

Unbelievable experience with food, service due to being family owned, family ran. Located a tiny bit outside of the city, tucked away in a house. We were the only tourists there. Delicious and amazing experience from beginning to end with food and wine.

Tucked away from the tourist crowds, this spot is a true hidden gem for Lombard cuisine. The dining room was filled with locals - a testament to its authenticity. The antipasto spread was exceptional, featuring top-tier cured meats, zucchini fritters, and a standout chicken pâté. Polenta uncia was a revelation - rich, buttery, and an absolute must-try. The veal kneecap salad was surprisingly delicate. Pizzoccheri was an earthy, buckwheat delight, though its cheesy richness may not be for everyone. The braised beef cheek melted effortlessly, packed with deep, slow-cooked flavours. Impeccable service, with a waiter who patiently guided us through the menu. Well worth the detour.

The atmosphere here was very pleasant — not overly fancy, but very homey and comfortable. All the dishes looked delicious, with a great selection of local specialties. For me, the only downside was that there were no fish or seafood options at all, and only about three vegetarian dishes to choose from, which felt a bit limited. Still, the dish I ordered was absolutely amazing — one of the best pastas I’ve ever had in Italy. The second dish, a meat option, was also fantastic — I even got the comment that it’s been a long time since we had something this tasty. Nothing more to add — a lovely restaurant, lovely people, lovely service. I really enjoyed it. If I lived here, I would definitely come back again

At Antica Osteria Del Vino Buono in Bergamo, the service was great, with staff that were very welcoming and friendly. We began with a shared plate of charcuterie and cheese, which offered a nice mix of flavors. This was followed by the ‘drunk’ risotto (daily specials) and ravioli; the risotto was fine, though it didn't stand out in flavor. The ravioli, filled with meat and topped with sage, bacon, and melted butter, was exceptionally tasty. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant further enhanced our enjoyable dining experience.

The food is pretty bad for the restaurant. They brought what they claim to be a “slowly cooked pork” within 10 minutes, which means it’s premade. Feels like I ate in a school canteen a very mediocre dish. The tomatoes they brought were not quite fresh either. The interior and service is good, but I’m disappointed with a food a lot, waste of money.

Lovely family run restaurant! The service was very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress had a great knowledge of allergies, specifically gluten free. Lots of old family recipes - all our food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back next time we are in Bergamo!

A wonderful local and authentic place to eat. Our waitress was so friendly, explained each plate and suggested wines to accompany the meal. It’s not expensive and the food is very good.

Very basic food done poorly. No excuse to serve tasteless, watery risotto. Worst meal we've had in Italy. The toilets stink and the smell wafts into the restaurant.

Feel Como is a small and well-maintained restaurant located in the historic center of Como. The elegant space features rustic-chic decor and a summer garden, offering refined set menus that highlight local produce. Chef Federico Beretta's cuisine focuses on exalting lake fish with dishes like sturgeon tonne, rice and perch, carp with white celery, and more. The restaurant also offers modern cuisine with options like elderberry pie with salted caramel.
For those looking for a fine dining experience experience, this restaurant does the trick. It’s not inexpensive but it is an enjoyable experience with great food - presentation and taste) and excellent, attentive service. Heater is very knowledgeable and manages to give personal attention to all of the tables. We had a lovely evening there. Thank you.

We had a lovely dining experience here during our trip to Como. The service was exceptional, with the staff providing great insight into the history of the wines paired with each meal. The complimentary starters were a delightful touch, bursting with amazing flavours. For our entrée, we chose the gnocchi and ravioli. While the starters set a high standard, the pasta dishes didn’t quite meet our expectations in terms of flavour. My partner’s main course, the beef cheek, was delicious, but unfortunately, my duck breast was a bit tough, and the flavour didn’t quite come through. However, the apple pie we both had for dessert was absolutely incredible and the perfect end to our meal.

Spent a week on Bellagio, Lake Como and went into Como town once to eat here specifically. Such a special restaurant and experience. They made the tasting menu special for me because of my dietary preferences. The waiter was very attentive and the chef an artist. Definitely a special experience as the photos show the beautiful and delicious food.

Came on a friend’s recommendation and left satisfied. We did the Forest dinner tasting menu at 130 euros. I am gluten intolerant and they accommodated very well including a nice bread served warm. Aside from the mushroom amuse bouche the rest were good. My favorites dishes were the tempura and the hare which was a wonderful texture. The service was excellent and the chef also kindly came out to say hello. It was a nice cozy place with comfortable chairs and lighting where the table spacing makes it easy to have a conversation.

This place is INCREDIBLE! It is a perfect hidden gem with six tables and definitely Michelin star quality. We dined here for my 40th birthday and it was absolutely perfect! We did the autumn tasting menu with the wine pairing, which was perfect! The server was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. Chef made his appearance many times bringing out dishes. The attention to every detail was stunning. This was by far one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. ❤️

This establishment truly epitomizes the pinnacle of our culinary journey. My wife and I experienced a romantic yet delectable evening here last night. Opting for two courses each, rather than samplers, we were delighted by the exceptional taste of every dish. The restaurant’s mastery in utilizing local produce and cuisine transported us to an idyllic hillside village, offering a truly unique experience that is quintessentially Como Lake.

The Only Thing Worth Tasting Here Was the Bread. TLDR: Come here if you want to food that looks expensive. Avoid if you want food that tastes good. Below is a breakdown of what I ordered along with pictures and my thoughts on each element of the meal. Amuse-Bouche • Visually striking—I’ll give them that. But the cherries? All show, zero flavor. The “rice cracker with white dollops”? Supposed to be crunchy, but instead, flop and soggy, stale—so not good. And the mushroom concoction? Tasted like mushroom powder—dry, earthy, dirt-like. Definitely not appetizing. Main Courses • Faux Gras Ravioli: Served cold and the pasta was hard—not al dente, just unpleasantly rigid. Flavor? Like vomit, thanks to a bizarre strawberry pairing. • Sturgeon Dish: That gray cylinder looked neat—but tasted overly fishy, not fresh. And that green oil—maybe basil? Way too overpowering, just ruined it. • Red Pepper “Spaghetti” with Peppercorn Ash: Clearly not house-made—boiled-from-a-box quality pasta with acidic red pepper sauce reminiscent of jarred paste. Peppercorn ash? Visually interesting, but overall, just three flavors: red pepper sauce, plain pasta, and ash. Home-cookable in five minutes. • Duck Egg with Green Oil: The duck egg itself was actually decent. But that wasn’t made by the chef - it was thanks to the farmer who raised the duck. The chef strikes again with an intense celery-heavy green oil (basil? coriander?)—the balance was just off. Overpowering celery clashed with everything. Cheese Platter • Four out of five cheeses tasted like they’d gone bad (or maybe they were just too much rind?). The jam pairings? Random and nonsensical. Even if the cheese had actually been good, 30 euros for such a small quantity of cheese was way overpriced even for a “fancy” restaurant like this one tries to be. I didn’t take a picture of this but each piece of cheese was 2 inches by 0.5 inches by 0.5 inches. The Bread • The only redeeming moment: fresh bread studded with basil, tomato, and olives. Flavorful, satisfying, actual craftsmanship. It should have been the center of the menu—honestly. Not sure if it was made at this restaurant, more likely they purchased it from a nearby bakery. Service and Atmosphere • Service: Surprisingly decent. The waiter was actually funny. He was slurring his words and dropping things on the ground while walking around, but still a charming guy. • Atmosphere: Upscale but stuffy—overly dramatic spotlight lighting on food, total Instagram-bait. Tables are too close; you could hear every word from neighbors. Everyone whispered awkwardly. Chairs were not comfortable. They did provide a little hook for my wife’s purse which I thought was thoughtful.

We celebrated our anniversary with a private, intimate lunch here and it was truly unforgettable. The seasonal menu captured the essence of autumn perfectly — each dish layered with earthy flavors that transported us to a cozy campfire and a crisp picnic in the forest. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it feel personal and special from start to finish. Every detail, from presentation to service, was thoughtfully done. We left with full hearts and happy palates. They also took a polaroid photo of us as a memento. Will definitely come again.

Polentone is a popular polenta stand located near the Citta Alta Funicular in Bergamo, Italy. It offers a variety of affordable polenta dishes, from creamy and cheesy to sautéed with porcini mushrooms and topped with hare, wild boar, or pancetta. While it primarily operates as a take-away spot, there are some outdoor seating options available. Customers recommend trying the Polenta Funghi porcini for its delicious taste.
Lovely place with local food. A very friendly lady works here who recommended the ragu and it was very delicious! The surrounding area is beautiful, which adds to the value for money you get. Beers are cheap as well.

The food is so good. It was August when we came but I can’t imagine how amazing this must be on a cold winter day. Service was so fast and friendly. But the food was simply something else. I wolfed down the Ragu of Wild Boar and was tempted to go back for another but I quickly realised that I was full. But my eyes, my nose and my tastebuds all wanted more. The food is faster than macdonalds, cheaper than macdonalds, and so much healthier. If I lived in Bergamo I’d eat this every day

Great food option for a chilly autumn day. It's a warm, cozy meal, the portions are very filling and you have quite a few options for sauces. I took the mushroom sauce without cheese...grear for lactose intolerant vegetarians! There are a few seating options in front but it's best to take it with you and find a spot overlooking the city.

We decided to dine as it had quite a nice rating and it looked nice from outside. The building has a nice exterior and interior - high ceilings, big windows etc. What looks good isn't always good. Though the place looks nice and a bit posh, it's not. Food is mediocre - I had gnocchi and veel cheek. Gnocchi was quite tasty but the veel was bland and lacked any character. The worst part was the service. It took more than an hour to get our second course. Without any excuses. In addition they forgot the coffee from my partners fixed menu order. Again, no excuses from the staff. In general - a place that tries to be fine dining but fails miserably.

The staff is the same that serves breakfast in the restaurant room (another different one) in the adjacent Bigio hotel. The service was attentive. The bill is not paid directly at the restaurant but everything is charged to the room account with a single billing at the time of checkout therefore. Strangely at the restaurant they do not serve San Pellegrino water but Tuscan cream water. All the dishes we ordered were of excellent quality, truly delicious! I really would not have expected this from a hotel restaurant ... The room was full but the staff was fast and attentive. I ate better here than in many other starred and renowned restaurants that pretend to be great gourmets! Congratulations really !! Rating 5 stars! Enrico Bartolini is a renowned chef known for his exceptional culinary skills and innovative approach to haute cuisine. His restaurant, Ristorante Enrico Bartolini Mudec, located in the scenic location of Mudec-Museo delle Culture in Milan, has been awarded 3 Michelin stars in both 2020 and 2021. Bartolini's cuisine is described as contemporary classic, showcasing a blend of creativity and open-mindedness applied to haute cuisine.
An unforgettable experience from start to end. We visited Enrico Bartolini to celebrate a birthday, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff's attention was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. We chose the "best off" Menu experience, and it was without a doubt and excellent decision. Each dish was a masterpiece, showcasing creativity, balance, and bold flavors. The attention to detail throughout the evening was outstanding both in the food and in the overall service. The team made us feel special, and turned a simple celebration into a lifelong memory. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a truly world class dining.

We’re so grateful for the unforgettable evening we had at Mudec. Every detail—from the exquisite food to the impeccable service—was flawless. It was a truly special way to conclude our anniversary trip. Dining with them on the same day we experienced The Last Supper in Milan made the evening even more meaningful. If you are given the opportunity to dine here, opt for the tasting menu with pairings. It is totally worth it! I have done a lot of Michelin dining, and this was the best service I have ever had. They were personable, fun, and helpful, with flawless English. The food of course was absolutely perfect -- They even accommodated one of our party who doesn't like seafood. Thank you for an unforgettable evening!

One of the most amazing restaurants in Italy for sure. We ordered a la carte, but what a surprise that the restaurant delivered what could be considered a full tasting menu with welcome “rare” cava, starters, surprises, and more. The service was amazing and very attentive. Thank you for an incredible experience.

We had family reunion lunch with 10 people at the restaurant Enrico Bartolini al MUDEC. I am grateful that the food and the service made the family reunion a memorable one. Our lunch was more than a meal—it was an emotional and sensory celebration. We had the "MUDEC experience" menu. Each dish, from the citrus‑bright seafood starters to the soul‑warming mains and playful desserts, left its own impression. Add to that the elegant yet welcoming service, and you have a recipe for memories that will last far beyond the table. The menu was brilliantly curated, balanced, and beautifully presented—worthy of its three Michelin stars. A truly unforgettable feast that honors Italian tradition while pushing its boundaries. Some of the dishes as I can remember: Finta melanzana aubergine with scampi, the Po‑river oyster enveloped in a sphere of herbs, the "fake" Rocher with beef tartare and fois gras, the smoky fillet of lamb, and the rhubarb and strawberry dessert. Although the waitstaff were young, their service was absolutely impeccable—attentive, prompt, respectful, and perfectly pitched for a joyful family reunion. Their warmth and professionalism elevated the entire experience, making it feel personal and effortless.
Stefano P — Google review
The only 3 star Michelin restaurant in Milan. The quality of food here was, as expected, excellent. We opted for extended tasting menu with wine pairing. The dishes were variable and well balanced, with some being heavier and hearty and others light, with acidic and briny tones. My favorite was probably "Bee ravioli" (stuffed with honey duck), although everything was very tasty. The presentation of dishes is suitable for location (modern art museum), with some dishes reminding abstract art made of food. The service here is a thing of its own. It is not only attentive, but also less formal then in other restaurants of the same caliber, and even somewhat playful). I felt that the place is less expensive then many other 3 star restaurants.
Dmitry — Google review
Dinner at Enrico Bartolini a 3 star Michelin restaurant, another dinning experience where food is secondary! And perhaps chef is experimenting with techniques rather than creating flavorful dishes. The highlights were some of the amuse bouche and the popcorn inspired dessert! Overall 2/10. Wouldn’t recommend it.
Alya — Google review
I came here for lunch and got the Mudec Experience menu. It was A LOT of good food. I wish I had got the Best Of menu. I ended up not being able to finish all the desserts. Out of everything from the menu, the bee ravioli did the most for me. The meat dishes are handled very well here. They were probably the best meats that I had during this trip to Italy. The service was amazing and probably was the best part of the meal. The servers were waiting on a table next to me with 10+ guests, and they moved gracefully like they were doing a waltz. Wine list was great. The space is gorgeous.

Eastern European restaurant
Veranda is a charming little restaurant that captures the essence of Ukrainian, Russian, and Georgian cuisine. With its cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, it’s no wonder guests keep coming back for more. The menu offers a delightful variety of traditional dishes that evoke fond memories of culinary adventures in Eastern Europe. While some meals may not hit the mark and portions can be on the smaller side, many diners rave about the delicious flavors—especially the shashlik and nalivka!
Veranda is a small, lively spot in Milan that serves comforting Eastern European food full of flavor and warmth. I had the best goulash I’ve ever tasted – tender meat, deep flavor, and perfectly seasoned. The rest of the menu feels just as homey, with classics like pelmeni and honey cake that taste homemade in the best way. The atmosphere is cozy and energetic – expect music, toasts, and a tight space that somehow adds to the charm. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Ilja, who helped us during our visit, was kind and professional – not overly enthusiastic, but solid and attentive, which fit the relaxed vibe of the place.

I adore Ukrainian/ Russian food and this is my second visit to this restaurant. Service is very good, decor is lovely and menu choice is interesting. Prices are too high though (and first time I visited the bill was incorrect, so check) but the food is tasty enough. Some of the meals were less than average and also a small portion, and I suspect some items are cooked from frozen. In Ukraine this place would get a rating of 2 or 3 from me

Was really looking forward to eating at one of the few Russian/Ukrainian/Georgian restaurants on Milan. The inside decorated nicely. Made a reservation easily online. Dogs welcome. Unfortunately the food just wasn't that good nor authentic. I had shashlik but i wouldn't call it that, seemed more like pieces of meat with Georgian spices. Very expensive also for portions. Maybe other things are better to try. They also forgot one of our orders. We kept waiting for it to come but it didn't. Also service was pretty slow for not being too busy. Not very attentive either. Oh well.

Very bad experience with a rude unpleasant waiter just at the entrance. Mind you the castle is beautiful and intriguing and so it's normal that many tourists are curious and want to know information about it. But my husband and I were looking for a place to go have dinner that evening and since he had to stay with our dog, I had to go ask. As soon as I saw the waiter asked if I could pose a question, he rudely told me to stay outside and he couldn't answer any questions unless I was inside as a customer. But right before that, he responded to inquiries of tourists before me that were asking about the castle. So I conclude that since he was looking at a small black woman, he immediately decided I am not worth the time. Congratulations if this is how you treat customers

Me and my girlfriend came here to celebrate her birthday and had a wonderful experience. First of all the ambiance itself makes the dinner feel worth it, it's classy and elegant but stays in touch with what should be a welcoming environment. The food was incredible. We had starters and a main course that were very tasty and definitely had a modern feel with the base of Italian tradition still present. They also had a long and curated wine list. I personally recommend the tiramisu, as it was probably the best I ever had. The staff was kind and at the same moment extremely professional. It's a lovely place with delicious food, and the service is fairly good. However, if I were to offer a critique, it would be regarding the small LED lights on the ceiling. La Tortuga is a Michelin starred restaurant that offers excellent food and service. The menu consists of creative and well-presented courses that are all delicious. The staff is efficient and always available to help with any needs you may have. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a romantic dinner or family gathering.
This restaurant is absolutely incredible! It feels like a dream come true. The food is not just amazing, it's beyond expectations. But what truly sets this place apart is the heartwarming service that makes you feel right at home. The wine recommendation was spot-on, perfectly complementing the meal. Every aspect of the experience, from the dishes to the ambiance, is exceptional.

Incredible food, worthy of a trip! The restaurant is cozy, chic and located in the quaint town of Gargnano in Lake Garda. While the dishes are seafood heavy, the chef was able to alter the selections to accomodate my shellfish allergy. Best lemon risotto we have ever had!! The dishes are so light and delectable, especially the branzino. Don't miss out on desserts. Beautiful porcelain serverware. Highly recommend- 10/10.

We visited the place with our extended family, we got served with a four course menu, which were very delicious. Each course was well presented, creative and tasted excellent. The restaurant deserves its Michelin star well and there should be potential for more. Everything was perfectly arranged and tasteful balanced food, together with the wine selection. Service was smooth, efficient and ever-present. The overall experience was excellent and we will be back.

What a wonderful restaurant with such attentive hosts. I would love to go back again, for the atmospheres, the good wine recommendations but above all the truffle pasta with the local cheese. We couldn’t have wished for a better evening! Many thanks to La Tortuga!

Excellent experience and wonderful dinner. Michelin star really deserved and great attention at the quality of the ingredients, the interesting recipes and the great staff service. Restaurant is small and this conveys a special atmosphere. Will come back again as menu changes often and I guess each season has wonderful ingredients to offer!

Simply divine fine dining experience with Lorenzo and all of the attentive staff at Ristorante La Tortuga. Dishes were sublime, service was without fault and the atmosphere was gezzelig beyond compare. Will recommend and return

La Tortuga is hospitality at its finest. Orietta is a perfect host, her mother is a superlatively good chef and her daughter is a very professional waitress. From the moment you arrive at the jewel like space you feel enveloped by a sense of love and care that extends to all aspects of the experience. The food is very refined and they have a great wine selection. I would especially recomend the linguine with fish ragu and the zabaglione, both of which were memorable. Expensive but great value. I recomend booking well in advance.

The proprietor of Cicinin - panini al metro is a fantastic individual who took the time to elucidate his delectable offerings. The eatery, although lacking tables, conveniently provides public benches across from its location. Customers rave about the exceptional quality of their paninis, with the amiable owner taking pride in detailing the ingredients and providing recommendations. This hidden gem in Stresa has left patrons thoroughly satisfied, as evidenced by their return visits and purchases.
The best Panini in Stresa! We had lunch there several times. The guy knows what he does and has different selections of panini every day. The ambient is also great. We will definitaly go there again.

Great Panini for a very fair price. You can choose the length of the panini and there are great options to choose from. We had one with hummus, spinach and cheese, which I can highly recommend. Payment is only possible with cash.

Amazing sandwiches. We stumbled across the shop as it opened and there were only 4 sandwiches so get there early to avoid missing out! The owner was incredibly passionate and explained the options in great details and the options we had were delicious !!! Highly recommend!!

We picked up some filled sandwiches from this sandwich bar, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The service was genuinely friendly, and I was especially impressed by how well they handled my dairy allergy. Instead of just pointing out what I could or couldn’t have, they kindly offered to make me a custom sandwich off the menu — and it turned out to be absolutely delicious! That kind of thoughtful service really makes a difference. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area.

Located near Lake Garda, the elegant gourmet restaurant Peter Brunel offers a unique fusion of art, poetry, and fine dining. The intimate setting combines the poetic works of Gabriele D'Annunzio with the artistic design by Fortunato Depero and Bruno Munari. Chef Peter Brunel's culinary creations transport guests to distant places through storytelling flavors. The attentive staff ensures a memorable experience from start to finish.
We had a wonderful evening here when we came for a celebratory meal last month. Service was incredible and the concept behind each menu was fun. The experience is super flexible with the option to mix and match across menus but we opted for the seafood focused Classico Nikkei menu. There was only one dish I wasn’t into (personal preference) but could appreciate the effort that went into creating each course. Thank you Peter Brunel and team for helping us celebrate!
Catherine L — Google review
Rachel and I had a wonderful experience at the Peter Brunel Ristorante in November 2024. We were there for an early seating on a Tuesday evening and we were treated amazingly well by all the staff. We enjoyed some gourmet snacks and creative cocktails in the lounge area before we were seated at our table. Our dinner was amazing. Our server was super gracious. And Chef Peter stopped by our table a few times during the course of our meal. Impeccable service and attention to detail. We sat near the large window into the immaculate kitchen and the staff buzzed with calm efficiency. Please do beware of the desert department… after an amazing tasting menu the deserts kept coming in waves and nearly sunk us…. but were also very tasty. For the cocktails there were creative combos like a Negroni with a reserve Campari. The tasting menu was incredible with a story behind every dish. The wine pairing was perfect too featuring some very nice local wines. At the end of our meal the chef even made sure we had a taxi to make our way back to our Airbnb. Never have we enjoyed such great food, with such great service, and a genuine focus on the guests comfort and enjoyment. We loved this meal and would go out of our way to eat here again next time we are in northern Italy. If you are anywhere close do make a reservation and stop in. You will not regret it!

Very high standard fine-dining experience. We both had the 14 course tasting menu. Each dish was interesting and playful with flavours. Interesting use of various leafs in some of the courses, and they have clearly taken care to source incredible ingredients for the various dishes. View of the kitchen whilst dining is fun and the head chef takes his time to visit the tables during the service
Henry S — Google review
An unforgettable dining experience. The food was amazing, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. We don’t consume alcohol, and the chef personally ensured none of our dishes contained it—he even offered creative non-alcoholic pairings. The staff were professional yet friendly, making us feel welcome throughout. To top it off, Chef Peter Brunel himself gifted us freshly made spaghetti and a signed non-alcoholic drink at the end. Truly exceptional hospitality and cuisine. Highly recommended.
Mansour A — Google review
We were at this restaurant for lunch while on our honeymoon and were absolutely amazed by the amazing food, wine and service. We were welcomed with a nice glass of champagne and some bites and decided to go with the chef's menu for lunch. Both the regular menu and the vegetarian menu were very impressive, whereas in many Michelin star restaurants we experience the vegetarian menu to be disappointing. The dishes are innovative and tasty and were accompanied by great wines. The desserts blew our minds and especially the vegetable dessert was one of the best we ever had. Altogether it was an amazing experience. Definitely a must go for food lovers who are in the Garda lake region and better than many other Michelin options at the lake.

Excellent restaurant. Nice setting with garden view and friendly people. We had the tasting menu which was quite wonderful. The influence of Peter Brunels time in Peru showed and gave us tasting surprises. Very good wine pairing!

Nestled just a stone's throw from the train station in Cremona, Pasticceria Dondeo is a delightful gem that has been enchanting visitors since 1912. This charming Art Nouveau café and pastry shop offers an authentic Italian experience, perfect for those looking to indulge in traditional flavors. As you step inside, you're greeted by an atmosphere steeped in history, with elegant period furnishings that transport you back in time.

Federica S — Google review
(Translated by Google) I go to this pastry shop every morning for breakfast. The croissants are delicious with any filling (I've personally tried cream/chocolate/jam). If I can make a tiny point, the percentage of jam in the croissants should be increased (but that's just my preference). In my opinion, one of the best pastry shops in Cremona. Highly recommended. Consigliatissimo

(Translated by Google) If you love old-fashioned places, where you can breathe the atmosphere of authentic Italy, then Bar Pasticceria Dondeo is an unmissable stop. Located in Via Dante 38 in Cremona, a few steps from the train station, this historic bar – opened in 1925 – is a little treasure for those who appreciate things made with care, passion and tradition. As soon as you enter, the period furniture, mirrors and wood paneling take you back in time. The environment is warm, familiar, with that true flavor that is increasingly rare to find today. The quality can be felt and seen, especially at breakfast: I always have the brioche with homemade orange marmalade, a marvel. It has that perfect hint of bitterness, which balances the sweet without covering it – it has become a certainty for me. But Dondeo is not just brioche: it is also excellent pastry. Cakes, mignon, cannoncini and the famous “africane” are a joy for the palate. The staff is friendly, the prices are fair (coffee costs about €1.10!) and the service is fast, although – it must be said – there is a bit of a wait at peak times, which is understandable for such a beloved place. Ultimately, Dondeo is a place that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a real Italian breakfast, done well, in a historic and authentic setting. Make a note of it: it is worth every single bite and every minute of waiting. Segnatevelo: vale ogni singolo morso e ogni minuto d’attesa.

(Translated by Google) Great staff, they are very kind, polite and friendly, in short very professional. I had a wonderful breakfast, something that hasn't happened to me in a long time. I had some delicious pastries, most likely made that same morning, I also had an excellent ginseng. In terms of quality/price it is excellent. Since I have visited almost all the bars in Cremona, I must say that Dondeo has been the best so far to the point of writing a very positive review. The location of the bar/pastry shop is very beautiful and welcoming especially outside where there is a small garden in the station square. From the outside it doesn't seem like much because you see a simple bar/pastry shop in front of a station and it faces a main road, but it is truly a wonderful bar where even people in wheelchairs can access since there are no steps in the entrance, then there is also a bowl for your pets to drink. Thank you so much to all the staff for making my day better with this breakfast that I hadn't had in a long time. A livello qualità prezzo è ottimo.

Located in the heart of Milan under the beautiful arcades of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Cracco is a chic restaurant known for its fine-dining menu featuring classic Milanese dishes with a modern twist. The interior exudes an aristocratic atmosphere with hand-painted and mosaic walls, Levanto marble details, and gold-painted wood, reminiscent of the 1920s.
An elegant place for a lingering lunch with fantastic people watching in the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuelle. Our food was delicious and was elegantly presented, as one would expect at such a posh address in Milan. Seeing clientele who look like regulars in the café felt like a throwback which added so much charmed to our delightful time here.

The location truly speaks for itself: situated in the iconic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, this spot exudes class and charm. While I didn’t come for lunch or dinner, I specifically stopped by for a classic breakfast – and it did not disappoint. The ambiance is elegant and timeless, with décor that perfectly complements the grandeur of the Galleria. Service was friendly and professional, striking a nice balance between attentive and relaxed. What stood out most was the quality of the coffee and the freshness of the brioche. The flavors were simple yet authentic – no unnecessary frills. What pleasantly surprised me were the prices. Compared to similar establishments in other major cities, both in Italy and abroad, this is a very affordable choice for a refined breakfast experience. In short: this is more than just a place to eat or drink – it’s somewhere to pause, appreciate your surroundings, and enjoy the quality of something simple done well. Perfect for a calm start to the day or a quick break while exploring Milan.

This restaurant naturally impresses with its outstanding location. The ambience is beautifully decorated and the service is traditionally elegant. The quality of the food is high. But as you would expect, the price is mainly determined by the location. And it is high. It is not worth stopping here just for a drink.

It’s in a very busy area, and I guess the hosts were a bit overwhelmed—they didn’t greet us very warmly. The waitstaff was fine, and the food wasn’t bad, but nothing really stood out. I wouldn’t recommend planning a visit just to eat there, but if you’re already passing through the gallery and need something to eat, it’s a decent option without having to leave.

A very nice restaurant close to centrale main train station of milan. Centrally located it is quite easy to reach with public transport but not so far away from center. A vintage experience without feeling line a theme restaurant. If you would like to have a taste of Milan this is the place to come to. Unfortunately some menu items could be improved but overall it was a nice experience to try proper local cuisine. We had lunch at Lido di Cernobbio and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was incredible—sunny weather, a relaxed vibe, and a breathtaking view of Lake Como made it truly special. The food was generally excellent. We tried: Lasagna Emiliana – rich, hearty, and full of flavor Sauté di cozze impepata – fresh mussels with a perfect peppery kick Tagliata con lardo – tender and indulgent, beautifully cooked Branzino (sea bass) – unfortunately, this did not meet our expectations; a bit underwhelming in flavor and we expected a real seabas fillet not just some meat from the fish. Cheesecake – absolutely delicious and a perfect way to end the meal Overall, a memorable lunch in a stunning setting. Highly recommended, especially for the atmosphere and most of the food.

Food and atmosphere were good but only got served half a grape? I think they forgot the other half in the kitchen. Also, our breadsticks were served in beans?? The lasagna was a tiny, sad slice about 3 cm wide, served on its side and drowned in red, white, and green sauces, as if they were trying to distract from the fact that there was almost nothing on the plate. It tasted like a €3 frozen microwave meal. Yet it cost almost €20. The shrimp pasta wasn’t al dente, it was plain undercooked, and the shrimp tasted canned or pre-packaged. Zero flavor, zero effort for 24€, insane! And if that wasn’t enough, we were charged a €3 cover fee per person, including for our 2 year old son, who sat in his stroller the whole time and didn’t even eat. That’s just absurd. This restaurant is sadly just a tourist trap with a nice view.

A beautiful and pleasant place, with excellent service and delicious aperitifs. Whenever I'm in Cernobbio, I don't miss the opportunity to visit this restaurant.

I recently visited your restaurant and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, primarily due to the poor attitude of the staff and the overall lack of organization. What ever I asked for to order they say we do not have anymore From the moment we arrived, the staff seemed disinterested and unwelcoming. Basic courtesies were missing, and when we asked for assistance or clarification, we were met with dismissive or even rude responses. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. In addition, the restaurant appeared to be extremely disorganized. Our order was delayed significantly, and there was confusion among the staff about what had been ordered. Tables around us were left uncleared for a long time, and it was evident that there was no proper coordination between the front-of-house and kitchen teams. I had heard good things about this place, but unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and implements better training and oversight. Every guest deserves to be treated with respect and to enjoy their meal in a well-run environment.

Nice setting, nice area very comfortable loungers and nice food for lunch. Staff very pleasant specialy the young waiter with an American accent. 1 bad thing the manager or supervisor should talk better to her staff and not shout at them . Bad management skills.

Italian restaurant
Da Ornella is an Italian restaurant on upper town's main street that is home to impressive vaulted ceilings and ancient graffiti created by patiently holding a pen. The restaurant serves up delicious food, making it a popular choice for visitors looking for a delicious meal.
A true hidden gem! Tucked away in a charming courtyard, this place boasts a beautiful terrace and incredibly attentive service. The polenta was absolutely divine creamy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. It was served with the most tender meat that practically melted in your mouth. Definitely a spot you’ll want to return to!

Polenta with lardo - a good choice for an appetizer, perfectly complementing sweet and salty flavors. The second bresaola appetizer was unfortunately dry. Also, on the menu in English it was described as dried salt beef without mentioning Bresaola - not what I expected when ordering this dish. Rabbit - the specialty of the place: a large portion, quite well seasoned. More herbs could be used. Stewed beef - soft and well seasoned. Stewed in red wine with a bit of vinegar made it not bland as it tends to be. Prices quite high for the quality.

The best polenta ever I had in all my life! I chose the menu of the day that included chicken with a super tasty sauce and polenta Taragna. The service was excellent, the food SO delicious and the lady-waitress was so charming. I will definitely come back to this beautiful place

By far the best meal we had in Bergamo- we went back twice. The owners are lovely and friendly, the pasta was absolutely delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Can’t recommend enough.

Great place to eat with family! The polenta was so delicious we had to order and extra plate for the table! Prices are a little higher than usual but it was worth it. Totally recommend! Nice bread and nice service.

I've been in this place 4 times already. Each visit I ate the same dishes: casoncelli alla bergamasca and polenta taragna, which is the restaurant's speciality. I love the place, the owners are very nice people. Now they also have the garden in the backyard and it's beautiful. You can pay with card there. I don't understand how this place is not rated 5 stars :)
