Amazing coffee! Place is crowded on weekends and there’s not that much space so don’t expect to find a table that easily if you’re 3-4 people. Corbetta was good but not enough crema for me. The buns look fantastic and I’ll make sure to try next time. Price is more than ok for the quality!

Never ate anything from here, only drank the coffee. Definitely is very unique and worth the price. The only negative part isn't to do with the coffee or staff, but the people ( especailly La Moda and influencer wannabes wearing Salomon trekking shoes ) who decide to draw out their stay by endless scrolling on instagram after finishing their coffee. Drink your coffee, eat your cake and leave to allow other people sit down and enjoy. Interior is designed nicely and can be appreciated at the most when there isn't a boatload of people inside. Coffee is 100% legit

Even I used to live in Rome and south Italy, it’s so hard to find a nice speciality coffee shop in Italy, compared to the other European countries… But oooops, I was so surprised by their iced latte. And the pain au chocolat was so crispy and tasty, literally made my day 🥰

Great coffee, though I went for a green tea this time, really nice and refreshing. The atmosphere is cozy, maybe a bit crowded, but that’s usually a good sign. We also had chocolate and vanilla croissants, both delicious. Overall, a lovely experience and definitely worth stopping by.

Their cinnamon roll will absolutely blow your mind ,a must-try! 🥐✨ All the pastries are super fresh and delicious, and the coffee ☕️tastes amazing. The only downside 👎🏻 is that the place is small, so there can sometimes be a long line and a bit of waiting time.

It lives up to its reputation! And definitely not just an Instagram trend. The egg and cheese is out of this world. Also impossible to eat without making a mess and it’s part of the relish. Cappuccino was very very good and so was the cardamom bun. I must say I like the Scandinavian style cardamom buns better, which is sweeter and with a fluffier dough. But this one has a nice special caramely crust. Staff were very nice. I went there a bit before 11am on a Wednesday and it was full. Had to wait 2-3 minutes to get a table.

This place is great for their pastries and food. It is a specialty coffee shop but I was surprised that they have not many varieties of coffee beans on the bar. They are serving commercial beans if you want a specialty beans then it is an add on. The specialty beans they use is Brazilian beans and it was decent but more of a dark roast. Staff are friendly and the place has good vibes.

Food is delicious. The staff is very impatient. In front of me in the queue was a women asking a loooot of questions before she could finally decide what to order and the staff answered all questions thoroughly. Downside was a lot of Chinese taking loads of pictures not only of their platea but of the whole café and the outside where I was sitting which I found very disturbing.

We went here after reading the Google reviews. We had no trouble being seated and the service was excellent. The avocado on toast was delicious, but there could have been more avocado. The raspberry croissant was recommended by the waiter and it was excellent. The coffees (decaf oat latte and iced oat coffee) were okay. Overall I would recommend.

Very convenient, decent food, safe value. Some items are very good like their bread actually and their salmone bombone. Maritozzo was a bit disappointing. Didn’t like the dough that much. And overall it’s clearly on the higher side of price tags. But perfect if you need to brunch and work on your computer!

This place has the best panettone I ever had. And good espressos. This place seems like catering for tourists, but you can't be more wrong. This place caters for locals and tourists where you can find an avocado on toast. But also some tradicional Milanese panettone. We had coffees, I had espresso and my wife had cappuccino. We went there twice. On Friday the execution of the cappuccino wasn't that great, the foam was with big bubbles. On Saturday the cappuccino was perfect. The panettone is a must try!

Visited this cafe at around 10am on Saturday & dined in — definitely a busy popular cafe so be prepared to line up. All the pastries were good, and the coffees were solid, but I can’t say anything was mind blowing (would be nicer if the pastries were warmed up a little).

Comfortably spent a few hours here before our train from the nearby major station. Most importantly, they had a nook to store luggage downstairs whilst finding a seat upstairs or on the patio. We didn’t find the food filling to be very filling, but the service was atleast very friendly. Highly recommend to others in a similar situation 👍

Had coffee every morning here during our stay in Milan. We've tried several coffee shops and this one was the best! The flat white and ice latte were amazing! We had to resist the urge not to get extras to-go. 😅 We've also enjoyed the little sandwiches and sweet / salty croissants; the perfect way to start the day! The staff were also super friendly; fast service, and happy to chat with us about the city and surrounding areas!

The pastries are delicious. I had the creme brioche and I can recomend it to everyone. My sister had one of the salty options which was also amazing. If you are getting a croston for breakfast maybe get the half option because the portions are a little bit bigger. There are a lot of coffe options.Overall perfect for a breakfast or brunch.

we visited this restaurant two times during our stay in milano, the first time we were absolutely delighted, we had an amazing service, who took great care of us and delicious food! the second time we went there the food was still delicious, however the staff wasn’t as great, they did forget about parts of our order even when reminded and we had to get another waiter to get it for us. aside from that it is cute little cafe with very good food! (just a heads up sometimes they run out of pastries, so i recommend coming in early)

Historic pastry shop in Milan. We stopped here for a "coffee break" with friends and took advantage of the large selection of pastries offered. This is, after all, a historic pastry shop that will not disappoint expectations. Location that reveals its history, large inside, but which offers an outdoor area for hot days. The service was fast and friendly. The coffee is good, as is the small pastry shop we tried. An excellent choice for those passing through Corso Genova!

Very disappointed. Not only was the coffee cold, but it costed a fortune! It’s one of the most expensive coffees I have seen in Milan; no wonder there were no prices displayed… (€4 for regular cappuccino and €4,50 for oat cappuccino) And sure, it’s the centre, but there are other places with way cheeper AND TASTIER coffees. If you’re going to serve overpriced coffee, at least compensate with the taste… both cappuccinos (with regular and oat milk) weren’t that good, and again - served cold. The only positive thing I can say is that the service was polite. But we went there for coffee and were not delighted with it.

This is not just a "caffe". This is something special. In the morning they have an extensive selection of sweets, both cakes and pastries, all delicious. The Panettone is a house specialty. You should not miss it! They do have some kind of sandwiches, if you prefer to stay away from sugar. You can complement your caffe with all these. In the evening, these tend to disappear, but their place is taken by small selection of appetizers, that make a good team with a 5 o'clock tea. Just wonderful! The waiters - the whole personnel, to be more precise - are dressed in style, all very friendly and very competent, because these are not your average servers. Reminds you of some high-class restaurant. Shocker! The prices are even lower than fast-food places we've been in the city. The only bad thing I can say about Cucchi is there are a lot of tables outside, but you have to wait to get a seat, because there are always a lot of customers around and you can see why :) We went 3 times here and if I come back to Milan, this is one of the places I'll visit.

Had an espresso and cream filled croissant standing at the bar. Very fresh and tasty. And because it was at the bar, really affordable. The atmosphere was good, old cafe, wooden panels. If you prefer table service, prices are much higher.

I absolutely loved it here. It is a must of you are a writer. I would also recommend if you are a fan of film. The cafe has a very inspiring atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. The strawberry cake I had was so soft and creamy and melted in your mouth. The cappuccinos were small in size but very delicious. Mega thumbs up!

Really just came for the Wes Anderson vibes. It was cute but not sure if it quite captures the Wes Anderson style outside of some of the pastel color schemes. If you come around lunch time, several pastries will be sold out :( The coffee was okay. The maritozzo was good but not comparable to the bests in Milan. The pistachio knot was terrible, would recommend against it - the pastry was dry and the filling was way too sweet and felt artificial.

If you are a Wes Anderson fan, this is a fun spot (he designed it). If you're not, it's still a comfortable place to stop for a snack or lunch. Service was great, sandwiches were good. Will go back next time i'm in town.

It’s nice enough, however it’s in the middle of nowhere. It’s part of the Prada Foundation. If you’re going on your own I’d suggest you go earlier in the day as there are only building sites around it and no footfall. The toilets are high design which I found a bit too space aged for me!

Coffee-restaurant designed by Wes Anderson for the Prada foundation with a vintage vibe really influenced by the director. The best is coming in the morning to enjoy all the pastry choices. It's a little pricey but if you like the director atmosphere it worths to come and try.

Had the best time at Bar Luce, service is amazing, the team is really warm and welcoming! Had a delicious dirty martini and I have been gifted many appetizers (chips, olives, mini pizzas, salted almonds): the realest italian aperitivo! Thank you!! The place is exquisite, so clean and chic!

We picked this place for my daughters birthday brunch and everything was amazing! Sandwiches were all perfect, they make fresh bellinis and rossinis with fresh fruit which were delicious! Our server David was attentative and fun and made sure we even got a dessert with a candle! We will definitely be back!

I’ve never been and asked how it worked politely and in Italian (the best I could) to where I was met with annoyance and like I was bothering the owner. He cut me off saying NO before I could finish any question without explaining how the place worked. Essentially they love micro managing their patrons. I understand you can only study and work long term upstairs which is fine of course, but I had moved an open and available chair over a little bit to sit with my friend and they kicked us out even while I was ordering coffee. They were rude and aggressive and upset at basically everything we did even tho we tried to respect their rules as much as possible. I didn’t feel welcome the minute I walked in even though I attempted to speak the best Italian I could (I just started learning 4 months ago) and politely asked where I could sit. We weren’t bothering anyone upstairs and came because we heard good things to study for our final to where we were rudely told to leave because we moved one of the chairs upstairs to be able to sit together… they had a pretentious attitude towards us which U didn’t quite understand. Maybe they were having a bad day I’m not sure…

Chill place to read or study while being able to order some snacks or drinks, but the AC was out mid summer so was a little inconveniennt and i couldn't spend much time there due to the heat.

Very charming bookstore with a nice cafe, plenty of sitting area for chatting and studying, variety of book options with English ones included. Would recommend if you want to enjoy your book accompanied by a drink or a bite.

Cool vibe, it’s a combination of a coffee and a library, the staff is very gentle and it is also perfect to work at. They have proper stations on the 2nd floor in which you can plug in chargers.

I want to highlight the staff which was very nice and welcoming. I came on Tuesday morning and place was pretty empty - a lot of available tables and big variety of pastries. I got almond 🥐 and flat white. It was good but not amazing or something that what would make me think about this place. Almond croissant has some amarena inside (unclear why, I should have asked before), so it tasted more like croissant with jam. Overall experience is good ☕️although 10€ (of which 1€ is for service) for coffee and croissant is really expensive even for fancy places Obviously dog friendly

We enjoyed breakfast on our last day in Italy at this fine cafe. Everyone got something different from sourdough toast with butter and marmalade to croissants to the peach pastry and the croissant French toast. We had filtered coffee and doppio espresso. Everything was perfectly made - crusty and sweet. You need to stop in and try these tasty gems.

I made a reservation for 7pm aperitivo on the phone. I was exactly 14 mins late because it’s milan on a friday night. They gave my table even if it is acceptable globally for a 15 mins late. Waiter was super rude and told me “Should we wait for you?!” And laughed on my face. I don’t recommend at all.

lovely place with a really cool menu and accommodating staff/baristas. a bit pricey but the people more than make up for it. we ordered an ethiopian espresso with lime notes and truth to be told it was almost undrinkable, it was so sour. we asked the waiter for some cream and/or sugar, and he said he‘d bring the barista over and soon enough, the barista was there and we could talk about the espresso. we explained what about the coffee wasn’t sitting right with us and he was kind enough to take the espressos and make a new drink for us with a different, more fruity ethiopian blend with milk so that it would taste „like a fruit yogurt“. and that it did! i’ve never had a coffee before that tasted like blueberries! to find a cafe that serves ethiopian coffee is pretty rare and to find one that transforms the beans into something almost entirely new is is even rarer. even though it took one try to find the perfect drink the staff/barista were very accommodating and i’m grateful for that. they also have a great matcha latte, not just coffee

I went to this restaurant with my family for my brother’s birthday. We were welcomed in a very warm way, as if we were having dinner at friends’. The place isn’t very big, which makes it feel cozy and familiar. They also have a lovely veranda and some outdoor seating — so I recommend booking a table in advance! We were asked whether we wanted to order from the menu or let the chef surprise us — we chose to trust the chef, and it was absolutely worth it. There were 10 courses in total: two starters (you must try their butter and “culatello”!), four appetizers, and four main dishes. We shared everything, and still ended up completely full. The portions were generous and perfectly balanced. We paired the meal with two bottles of wine, plus a glass of dessert wine at the end. If you’re not familiar with wines, don’t worry — the staff are real experts and can recommend the best options according to your taste and budget. We brought our own dessert from a patisserie, and they only asked for the ingredient list for HACCP compliance, which was perfectly reasonable. Throughout the entire dinner, the staff were very attentive and always ready to meet our needs. As for the price: it really depends on the wine you choose. The cost of the dishes is more than fair, considering the creativity and freshness of the ingredients. All their ingredients come from local suppliers who follow sustainable and ethical practices — they don’t use products from intensive farming. In the end, the total depends mostly on your choice of drinks. Overall, I found this place a truly refreshing experience — refined dishes that are creative yet approachable. I loved the evening and will definitely come back!

The wine was amazing and the staff was lovely but I must be honest about the food, it was not so special. I didn’t like the jelly carrots and zucchini it was tasteless and the egg with cheese and ‘agretti’ just too basic for the price. I have to say, if I could give Onest Cafe more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Our brunch experience there was nothing short of fantastic. We decided to try the Pane E Uova con Pancetta and Uovo Fritto con Verdure di Stagione, and let me tell you, the bread was unbelievably fresh and had a texture that was just like a piece of heaven! Each ingredient in our dishes was of top-notch quality, and it truly elevated the flavors to another level. But it wasn't just the food that impressed us – the staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and polite, which made the overall experience even more amazing. And can we talk about the interior design? From the cozy small backyard to every little detail and element used to give character to the place, the vibe was absolutely magical. The architecture and design of the building is by far the best part of the place. It is more of a tourist attraction than a cafe, and is quite loud and very crowded. There are many places to order food and drinks, so queues should not be too long. The coffee I got was great, but it wasn’t somewhere I could stay for long. It’s worth checking out, but if you are looking for a coffee and a place to sit for a little while, I’d recommend somewhere else.

This is not the usual standard Starbucks experience with drinks that are mostly taste of sugar and bad coffee. If you love good coffee quality and special flavorfull fancy well though out drinks, this is the place to go! You will find yourself in a very unique atmosphere of a beautiful spacious hall. The room is a mixture of a fabric rostery and a an almost fantasy like blend. A little bit like Willy Wonkas chocolate factory, but with coffee instead of chocolate. Beside coffee you also can find tasty cakes and pastries. The service is exceptional and very friendly and very helpful (a big shout out to Christian). And it's never ever crowded inside, as they only let a limited amount of people inside. And here a little trick for the people who read all my text! If you want to rest for a while don't go to the normal line at the bottom, go instead to the balcony that has service who brings you the menue and food to the table 👌☕🍰!

I went here 1 month ago, during my trip to Milano, in Italy. I waited around 10-20 minutes to enter, but it was deffinetly worth comming here. The coffee and the Pistacchio cake tasted pretty well and good and the inside was very beautiful and I was able to see the coffee beans being prepared right in front of me. If you visit Milano, this place is deffinetly worth seeing it!

A beautiful and unique coffee experience in the heart of Milan! The building itself is stunning — a historic post office transformed into a “cathedral of coffee.” Inside, the design is elegant, spacious, and filled with energy. You can actually watch the roasting process and see how much detail goes into every cup. The menu goes far beyond a regular Starbucks: rare single-origin coffees, different brewing methods, creative cocktails, and fresh pastries from Princi bakery (which are excellent). Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to explain the different options. That said, it’s definitely more expensive than a typical Milanese café, and it can get very crowded during peak hours, which takes away from the relaxing vibe. Still, as a destination, it’s absolutely worth visiting at least once — both for the coffee and for the atmosphere. A must-see for coffee lovers visiting Milan.

Be prepared to get amazed by Starbucks Roastery! The alcoholic drink here was AMAZING, extremely fun and unique experience, there’s 3 separate bars in 1 big comfortable store. The staff working here was AMAZING, one staff helped me to the other bar when I thought I can order alcoholic drinks at the bar he was at. Everything about this reserve was top notch! However, be prepared to spend money, it’s worth the experience!

The starbucks reserve in Milano is a must visit for coffee lovers who are visiting this great city. Beside the great taste of a starbucks which one might find in many other cities around the world, visiting a reserve location opens a window into the marvelous world of coffee making right from the processing and roasting of fresh cofee beans coming from many different parts of the world to the preparation methods used, it's really a visual and sensory journey that must be experienced, and I think of it as visiting s coffee museum that is still live and in action. Their pastries selection are amazing, fresh and so diverse that you always find something to your liking to pair with your cup of coffee. Customer service is very professional, prompt and there is plenty of seating areas for everyone to enjoy their coffee and desert while marvelling at this intriguing world of coffee making.

This restaurant doesn't live up to its high ratings online. It is located in the best commercial/tourist area, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, with great relaxing happy atmosphere. But I feel the waiters who have seen too many tourists coming and going forgot the service standard they should have held up. For example, when we entered the restaurant around 6pm, the waiter immediately told us we couldn't just order coffee. I think the attitude was a bit rude. We ordered veal cutlet and black cod for dinner. The veal cutlet was a thick one different than others' thin cutlets, but surprisingly it tasted tender, juicy and tasty. It came with a bowl of salad which was refreshing. However the cod is pretty disappointing. It looked nice but had no taste at all. Furthermore it was cold inside and a bit raw. (I'm sure I didn't order sashimi) so end up after dinner we truly didn't order coffee as requested 😝.

It is very close to the Duomo cathedral. The view is magical. It is also very fun to sit next to the luxury shops. The servers are very friendly and nice, you can sip a cocktail while watching the great view. It has been operating since 1915 and serves the legendary aperitivo bitter Campari. I highly recommend getting the tiramisu. It is very delicious. Gorgeous place.

Iconic Campari bar in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. We came here on a Friday around 2pm and only had to wait for 20 mins for a table. It is a little expensive but it's been here since 1915 so worth a one off visit.

If you want to drink best campari spritz or negeoni in the front of Duomo and in addition eat great local food like risotto with ossobuco or Cotoletta alla milanese then this is the best place in Milan. Super atmosphere, great service and great good and drinks!

Incredible cocktails and unique appetisers with them (for free). Tiramisu was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommended! P.s. use stairs to the second floor, there’s no tourists at all 😅

Great service, first class drinks. Prices are higher but a perfect place to celebrate an anniversary or a special occasion, or just as a guest who came on holiday. I recommend making a reservation in advance. It's worth coming.

I absolutely loved this little café! The prices are incredible. I paid only €6 for two latte macchiatos, a croissant, and two mini biscuits. Everything was fresh and delicious, especially the croissant truly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The service is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The café is located right by a canal, which gives it such a calm and charming atmosphere. It does get a bit busy around midday, but I’ve always managed to find a table without a problem. I’m genuinely very impressed and would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. A perfect spot for a relaxed coffee break!

We absolutely loved this bar. It has a wonderful speakeasy vibe with stylish décor and a truly refined atmosphere. The cocktails were excellent, creative, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive, cheerful, and respectful, adding to the welcoming energy of the place. Every detail, from the ambiance to the service, reflected great taste and quality. A lovely spot on the canal, perfect for a quick coffee whilst checking out the local sights but even more perfect for a cocktail! In lieu of being able to try out the secretive 1930 cocktail bar, the menu here is fantastic and I really enjoyed the very interesting array of drinks on offer. The staff were so friendly and made my multiple visits here an easy choice for coming back!

This is the team behind the ultra exclusive Speakeasy 1930. I had the Negroni Del Mariano and my colleague had something Bespoke with Gin/Mezcal. Both were incredibly good. I asked Elisa who is absolutely great why this was named MAG - the reason being the previous owner of the shop which was a popular cafe was surrounded by unlimited magazines. They have kept the vibe intact and it is such a great homage to the previous owner this current bar is incredibly stocked with vintage stuff all over and gives an old school vibe

Perfect place for a really excellent cocktail and some light bites. Try the Farmer’s Punch if they still have it for a refreshing option. The care they put into every cocktail is very evident. Friendly service as well. We sat inside as the outside was full but it eventually filled up inside too.

Adorable local pastry shop with good strong coffee. Plenty of seating inside and a small outdoor space. We came around 8:30 on a Thursday and the shop was packed with people until 10 am. Brunch menu starts at 9 am. This is clearly a local favorite with parents stopping in after dropping kids off at school, or folks on their way to work. Be prepared to wait, but it is worth it if you have the time. We loved their coffee menu and the eggs on my avocado toast were perfectly cooked.

We came here for breakfast with the family. We had to wait a bit for a table for four, and then again for our order, but it was acceptable. We had cappuccinos and maritozzi with cream and pistachio cream, plus two savory maritozzi with cream cheese, avocado, and ham. The pastries were amazing — soft and generously filled. Apart from the slightly longer wait, everything was great, and the atmosphere was lovely.

We have been here twice and both visits were great! We liked everything: bakery, atmosphere and especially the cappuccino (it was so delicious!!!!). I really advise this place.

Lovely breakfast and pistachio Maritozzi are the best I’ve ever had. The staff are so lovely and happy to recommend things, got some little bite sized mignone cakes on the way out of the door and cannot wait to be back!

Superb pasticceria! I had savory maritozzo with salmon, three mignons, fresh orange juice and a cup of caffe macchiato. Maritozzo was just to my liking with its not-too-fluffy texture (but not dry) and a hint of sweetness without being too yeasty. Three mignons that I had - mini tiramisu, lemon meringue tart and coconut chocolate tart were also good. I could sense all the ingredients in them since they did not have strong flavor which is a good thing.Orange juice was freshly made and coffee was pretty decent. Staff looked very busy but they were very friendly and nice to all of their guests! I loved the decor, too:)

I arrived at 4:30 and there were no croissants available, so if you want to try them, make sure to arrive earlier. The service is not the most friendly either and 4€ for a cappuccino is even dowdy. However, the small patisseries that we tried were delicious and the external area is super nice. Great place with some improvements to do.

I enjoyed my coffee and croissant Al Banco. Very good energy behind the bar. Given I was standing, my order was fast tracked. However, I asked for a Cortado and was suggested a flat white which turned out to be closer to a cafe latte at €4.80. Given the pretensions of the place, this was a bit of a fail. If you use an international term like flat white please 🙏 get the fundamentals right: The AI bit: A Cortado features a roughly 1:1 espresso-to-milk ratio, with minimal foam, for a strong, balanced taste. A Flat White has a slightly higher ratio, around 1:2, with thin, velvety microfoam that creates a smooth, coffee-forward drink. A Cappuccino uses roughly equal parts of espresso, steamed milk, and thick, airy foam (a 1:2 total ratio by volume), resulting in a frothy, balanced classic. Finally, the Café Latte is the mildest, with a high ratio of 1:3 or more milk to espresso and a shallow foam layer, offering a creamy, mellow experience.

My fav breakfast place in town. Amazing cappuccino ☕️ and brioche 🥐, a truly Italian experience. Of course anything here is excellent. Staff is lovely and very professional. There is a nice little terrace outside with trees which is very nice and could get busy in the weekend. 5*

We saw the pics of their famous croissants with chocolate and whipped cream and went there mostly for this. The croissant was a bit smaller than expected and they brought it to us without whipped cream. We had to show them the pics and ask them to make it properly for us. They fixed it for us eventually and it was fresh and quite tasty! They also messed up our coffee order though and brought us the wrong coffee which was stuffed with sugar. Overall, the service was terrible and it ruined the experience. I went around the corner to find some proper coffee.

Very atmospheric and nice place! The food is delicious, but the best thing about this place is the coffee. Honestly, as far as I've tasted, it's the most enjoyable coffee in Milan. Extremely rude service. We spent 40€ for pastries to go and decided to enjoy one onsite and the waiter was extremely rude when we went to sit down to a table that wasn’t the “correct” one, though there was several free tables.

This is such a cute little gem of a place. The vibes are nice and it’s in a really nice area. You can tell the food is high quality, but I was disappointed by the portions a bit. That said, it was a lovely experience overall.

The brunch was mouthwatering!!! I had the egg bun, smashed potatoes, corn ribs and pumpkin bread and oh my....some of the best food I've ever tried. The staff were so lovely, friendly and accommodating, and I wholeheartedly recommend the place. Do yourself a favour and go experience it for yourself 😎

Before staying in Milano,i searched for a great breakfast place. The photos on the internet convinced me. The staff is super nice, the atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous, a very nice place to have late breakfast. I will definitely return when visiting. The food is delicious! The coffee is excellent.

Flagship Store Lavazza in Milano is a coffee lover’s dream. This place isn’t just a café shop, it’s one of the very best coffee destinations in Milan, hands down. I sampled three different blends. Each one had its own personality — floral, nutty, bold — but the standout for me was the 1895 blend. It delivered impeccable balance, a depth of flavor, and a smooth finish that no other blend matched. To complete the experience, I tried their cheesecake. Silky, light, creamy. It paired beautifully with the 1895 espresso. Baristas treat you like a guest rather than a customer. If you are in Milan and want more than just caffeine, maybe a moment, a memory — Flagship Store Lavazza is the place.

I wanted to try the Lavazza coffee as it’s a brand of quality in Italy. The cafe is very well located, in the hyper center of Milan, so it’s quite touristy. The prices are high, you pay for the hype of the place. You have a lot of options with speciality coffees. You can also have lunch or enjoy sweat and savoury treats with your coffee. I went there when there was a partnership with Barbie. I took a cappuccino which was overpriced, but quite good. Overall the atmosphere is nice and the service is good. Would not go again but worth trying it.

The location of the place is very central, it was a nice break in between walking in the city center. The coffee was really good..to be honest. The stuff was also very nice. The toilets are SUPER clean! However, the mascarpone was sweeter than I wanted but good overall.

The place is beautiful! The coffee is amazing we really enjoy it! The service could have been better. When we walked in, we noticed some people waiting in line at the counter and others sitting with menus. We wanted to sit down, but when we tried to get the staff’s attention, no one acknowledged us. It was a bit disappointing and made the start of our visit less enjoyable.

I had the opportunity to visit this place next to the Milan Cathedral. Being a flagship store, I came in with high expectations—and I wasn’t disappointed. The barista at the counter did mention that sitting would cost extra, so I chose to stand at the coffee bar and enjoy my coffee there. I also ordered a chocolate macaron, and I must say, I’d never tasted anything quite like it before. Overall, a wonderful experience and an absolute must-visit for any coffee lover.

Micheal was so kind in helping me pick a gift for my father. I tried different kinds of wines and liquors while munching on some heavenly sides they offer. The shop has a very nice energy about it and so do the people who work there. Lovely experience, I definitely urge you to go and indulge in the same. Didn't feel like it was crowded by tourism, the prices are also nice. 100% going back again next time I'm in Milan.

Best wine bar in my life. Completely eliminated the need for road trips to the vineyard if your objective is to discover the different wines each region has to offer. Caveats: we arrived at 1030am on a Monday morning ie the time at which no other sane normal human being is thinking and able to drink; also we had the pleasure of being able to hang with Lorenzo who was the most patient passionate kind somm we’ve met. A serendipitous mention of Dolomites led us to discover the most interesting white wine we’ve had to date- the ansitz dolomytos weisswein vino bianco! Lorenzo also was the most patient in terms of us requesting “a red similar to a 2006 san Leonardo / something in between an amarone and the ceretto barberesco” we had earlier. Come earlier vs later in your trip and don’t by shy to chat them up!

Cantine Isola dal 1896 - what a gem! I saw a Google review that said it was a cute and fun wine bar, so we went, and wow, it delivered. I’ll admit, I wasn’t quite sure what to do at first, but then along came Lorenzo - absolute legend! He spoke English, walked us through the whole experience, and made some incredible wine recommendations. Each glass came with light bites of bread and veggies, perfectly simple and authentic. The ambiance was lively but local, tucked in a non-touristy area that felt like true Milan. And the wine prices? Ridiculously great. Definitely one of those “I can’t believe we found this” kind of spots. Highly recommend for any wine loving American!

This wine bar is incredible! The atmosphere was like nothing we've experienced before. Right in the centre of China Town, we visited on a Saturday night, and it was absolutely mobbed. However, the guys behind the bar were so friendly, taking their time with each customer, ensuring you got the wine you were after, offering tastes and discussing the wines. Definitely worth a visit!

I can comment only on the vegan cappuccino with soy milk (€2.30). The foam was great but the cappuccino itself didn’t taste very good. Around the corner (at Disigual cafe) you can get a fantastic one and for only €1.90. If you are vegan just go there :)

Great little place near Porta Romans. Great for people watching while you sip your cappuccino or gulp down an espresso monorigine. Nice little patio if you want to sit out or pretty cool place inside. Pastries were good and fresh.

This place was on point in terms of food and atmosphere. I had a salad, and it was delicious. I also had a croissant, chocolate muffin, and a cappuccino. It was true to Italian brilliance. The very unfortunate event was their treatment of customers. I came in shortly after 12pm. I did have my backpack and I was ready to order. I was right away asked if I was going there for work. And I said, yes. And I was immediately told that they had a rule that study and work were not allowed from noon to 3 PM. I was, of course, very disappointed because I searched for a laptop friendly place, it said so online. But I agreed anyway that I would just have lunch and not open my laptop. But I was still met with resistance, nor did they want me to go upstairs. I went upstairs, and saw several people working on their laptops. I was, of course, dumbfounded. When I asked why they could work on their laptops, I was told because they came in the morning, and therefore could continue to work. The place was practically empty (look at photos to see how empty it was), they continued to be empty past 3 PM. There was no reason for them to be policing my laptop. If you’re going to have a policy about laptop, then you should be consistent. In this case no one, including those who came in the morning should be allowed to continue to work. But I abided by their rules anyway and never opened my laptop until 3 PM, while the rest of the customers continued to use the laptop all the way through 3pm. I sat there for lunch only. Furthermore, I sat in the corner upstairs at a larger table. I was told to move all the way to the other side because they had a reservation for four at that table. I did not want to move all the way to the other side, so I sat at a table of two right next to it. However, no one with a reservation of four ever came. Again, the place was practically empty the entire afternoon. I’m not sure if this is the case of the establishment enforcing strict rules, or I was treated this way because I am a foreigner, or that I am an Asian woman. What I do know for sure was that the policy was inconsistent, and I was not treated with respect. I sat there only with my phone until 3pm eating lunch not working on my computer. Before I left, the server came back to me and apologized. He said that it wasn’t his rules. Well, I’m not sure how I felt about this whole situation but I was not happy, especially about trying to move me from a 4 person table when no one actually showed up and the upstairs was completely empty. What is the motivation for that? The girl who sat next to me with the laptop was at a 4 person table. Why was she not asked to move?? There was a lady server who worked there and I asked about their rule again. She was much nicer and said indeed the rule was in place, but it was ok if I worked for this time. But again, I didn’t even start working until 3pm. I was eating lunch and on my phone until 3pm. All in all, not the best experience and I do not recommend this place for customer service.

Visited late morning for two cappuccino’s, one soy and one cow milk, one raspberry croissant, and one vegan carrot cake. 10/10. Absolutely incredible coffee, served quickly and tasted so smooth. The carrot cake was warm and moist, with hints of lemon, and tasted so buttery. The raspberry croissant was perfectly filled, nutty and delicious. Service was impeccable, we were greeted and the server asked if we were Italian or English, and served us so warmly and helped us understand the menu. Come here if you want quick and faultless service, delicious coffee and beautiful pastries.

Nice staff and the coffee is brewed well. The wood interior is pleasant and relaxing with outer seats to chill and chat with friends or to do some laptop work. The proposed salads are good in amount so it's worth the price you pay for being in Milan, it's a plus! IMO two downsides would be: 1. the Matcha Latte - flavorless, could be perfected; 2. the Desserts like Cheesecake and Plumcakes are super sugary.

This place was somewhere we stopped for a coffee that was something other than espresso. They had specialty lattes, the salted caramel was delicious, and different iced coffees. The coffee was good, and you could also buy coffee beans and other coffee instruments. The blue of the walls was very pretty and the decor was “hipster” but cute. Seating is a bit limited, but they do have indoor and outdoor seating. Staff wasn’t super friendly, but that’s okay. We enjoyed our coffee, and also got a coffee brownie which was yum! Be aware this is not a coffee shop to study or do work at, there are zero outlets.

Ordered 2 flat whites and a croissant. As can be seen from the bubbles on the photo, coffee was anything but flat. It would be alright if this were a regular, Italian coffee chain. But this chain in particular prides itself on being Speciality Coffee, so I would deduct a point for its milk texturing proficiency which I think is important in serving speciality coffee. Otherwise, service was polite and prompt. Ambience was fine. Coffee taste (presumably house blend) was also fine - slightly roasted taste coupled with sweetness, making for a balanced drink. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, perhaps the milk texturing just needs more consistency and quality control. Overall solid work done here!

The best café 💚 The staff here are incredibly friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. The vibe is great too. I’d show you the scrambled eggs… but they were gone in 10 seconds 😂😉, that’s how good they were! See the photo of the empty plate 😂 The toast that came with it was perfectly crispy and full of flavor. I also had a café macchiato, and it was spot on, rich, smooth, and just what I needed. Tried the apple cake and carrot cake too… both were out of this world. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop by. I strongly recommend this café!

I came in after a conference, alone and wanting an environment to chill in, and maybe a late lunch. This is exactly what I found by this Cafe. It is really a place with vibrant conversations and a good energy during mealtimes, and the quiet hours between it is a nice cafe where maybe people check their email. I came as a lone traveller without a word of Italian, and I felt welcome and could relax with great food, so excellent. The menu changes all the time, but I'd suggest it's all probably great.

I owe to this place the understanding of eating slow with no technology around. The food is amazing, the vibe is just unique and they know how to treat people well. If you want a real local Milanese experience you have to come here

Upcycle Bike Cafe offers a fantastic atmosphere, perfect for co-working sessions between 10 am and 12 pm, followed by a delightful lunch service from 12 pm to 3 pm. Weekends are strictly reserved for relaxation, with no working allowed – a refreshing policy indeed! During my visit, I indulged in a coffee accompanied by their heavenly cheesecake, adorned with homemade raspberry sauce. The combination was simply divine, so much so that I couldn't resist ordering another serving. The staff are as lovely as the ambiance, making every visit a pleasure. Upcycle Bike Cafe is a gem for both work and leisure, offering a haven where great food, coffee, and company converge seamlessly.

What a great place! Came here to work for a couple hours in the morning then had lunch once noon came and they shifted to no laptops. Food was delicious and service was great. Love the concept of having hours for work/study and then shifting to meal time.

Service is the worst ever, we asked for extra ice for the coffee (hello, it is summer season!!), and they refused saying this is our policy we don’t want you to ruin the coffee taste, also we don’t serve sugar or honey!! It is my taste buds not theirs! They later brought the ice and placed in table in a very rude way.. Food is expensive, but the french toast was good.. If you want to be respected and enjoy your breakfast just go somewhere else..

Not a friendly experience — the service was a disaster. Staff had an attitude and didn’t bother changing our cutlery when we ordered again. The breakfast itself was good, but the coffee wasn’t anything special and surprisingly not well-prepared for a place that calls itself a roastery. Clearly short-staffed, which affected the whole experience. However, the food quality was good.

We visited this small, trendy restaurant in Milan and ordered the Egg Florentine and Smashed Avocado Toast, along with an iced caffè latte and raspberry juice. The drinks were fine, and the service was okay—not bad, but nothing exceptional either. However, the food was a major disappointment. The eggs were described as “creamy,” but what we received felt more like raw eggs—almost as if they were just cracked open onto the plate. Both dishes came with these overly runny poached eggs, which we had specifically mentioned we don’t eat. The bread was another issue—it was so tough that we needed a steak knife just to cut through it. We ended up ordering scrambled eggs instead, but unfortunately, they were soggy and tasted strongly of yolk. It was honestly unpleasant and hard to eat. Overall, the experience was not enjoyable, and I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for quality food. It feels more like a trendy spot for appearances than a place that actually delivers on taste.

I was lucky to get to speak to only friendly and nice staff members. I was staying in the area and went to the place 3 times. One of the 3, I had to turn around because it was a waiting list and a big crowd (Sunday, brunch time 😅). Saturday right before closing and Monday morning was success. Good coffee, nice desserts. Haven’t tried any food. The place is slightly tucked away from the main street, and sits right at the park where people walk their dogs (was an extra point for me 🐕❤️).

we had the best experience at nowhere café. we arrived a bit late for brunch on a Sunday (worst timing, we know). we ordered for takeout as the café is located right next to a really cute park with dogs. the lady at the counter was very nice with us (even took time to describe all the bakeries available). the food was insanely good: we totally recommend the brownie (to die for!!), banana bread (topped with peanut butter). cookie was a bit hard to eat but once in your mouth, so sweet. matcha review: 4/5 really good, recommended !

One of the best cafes I've been at. Their upper ranges cost a little more but are well worth the while. I have tried some extraordinary coffees here. Also well executed. Service is sweet and efficient and young. I understand they serve sweets from their own patisserie lab---definitely must be tried! Prices seem to be in line for speciality coffee in the city.

Dropped by this little cafe because it was freezing outside in December and I had to use their bathroom. One cappuccino and one tart cost €4 which is reasonable in Milan but they don't have prices in the cafe. The lady staff member was lovely and english-speaking

Stayed near Pan Cafe while in milan for a few days, purchased our breakfast here every morning plus treats. Breads, crossiants ,coffee and treats were great, girl behind counter was lovely. Very good place.

The best Ginseng coffee I’ve had in a long time, tasty and creamy, and the focaccia was good as well! We brought home some bread and we particularly enjoyed the “panini all’olio”. Lovely lady behind the counter, really friendly :)

I was really looking forward to visiting Ceresio 7, but the experience was beyond disappointing. My friends and I arrived at the rooftop and were told to wait 10 minutes because they were still setting up. We were patient, but 10 minutes turned into nearly 40 without any updates or acknowledgment. For a venue that markets itself as high-end, this level of disorganization is unacceptable. However, what truly shocked me was the attitude of the receptionist, Sara. Hospitality is the foundation of any premium establishment, and the complete lack of professionalism I experienced was beyond unacceptable. I won’t go into details, but I sincerely hope management is aware of how their employee is treating guests—because if this is the standard, it reflects very poorly on the people running this place. To make matters worse, once inside, I started noticing things I normally wouldn’t if the service had been good—cheap cutlery, damaged walls, worn-out furniture. For a place that positions itself as high-end, it certainly didn’t feel that way. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I felt obligated to say something. Hopefully, the right people see this and take the necessary action, because word gets around quickly in certain circles.

We went to enjoy aperarivo time and found the drinks to be steeply priced, but fantastic. On top of this the sampler of food delivered was exceptional! The tartar was mind blowing. I really enjoyed the afternoon here with good views, drinks, bites, and kind staff who were attentive and caring well for us.

What can I say. I came here because of the location and it was as beautiful as it looked on the pictures! Cocktail was fantastic and the served appetizers as well for free. Service was outstanding. It is a delicate location, so you’ll pay the price.

I came here to this restaurant as part of a group and I was positively surprised. The rooftop is quite pleasant for some aperitifs before dinner. The food was delicious! The portion size was fairly decent for the type of restaurant (I had expected a lot less). They also have a huge wine list. The atmosphere was good, however the choice of lamps for some of the tables, was in my opinion a bit poor, as it gives the impression you are sitting at a lower end restaurant. The service was attentive but not super friendly. As you can expect, it is not a cheap restaurant. It is positioned as a high end one, and the prices are reflected on it. I would recommend coming here for a date or special event. But for a more casual dining experience, I would suggest to go somewhere else.

Killer apertivo, good vibes, great wines & beers. Location is hidden in a courtyard away from the street and artfully decorated. The interior gives a refined feel but retains the flexibility of being casual or fancy. There are lots of great wines to choose from, and you can even walk above the wine cellar, which has a glass roof! Interior and outdoor space is quite large and can fit big groups. The aperitif food is solid (other than the olives), and the main dishes follow-up strong also.

A cafe restaurant with very nice ambiance. Their service speed is relatively good compared to other places around Isola. You can eat aperitivo outside, however we were told that we shall have reservation inside to dine. Their aperitivo snacks and hamburger is good. Wine selection is limited but enough to have with those snacks.

The design is so nice and well designed. There are inside and outside space to sit. Staff are nice and friendly. Quality and taste of the drinks are good, prices are a bit higher than normal, and the toilet is clean but it’s only one toilet. they didn’t let us to eat our cake we bought for the bday. There was a staff with a very bad behaviour with us but at the end Alessandro (maybe store manager, not sure) made it up for us. He tried his best to make us satisfied.

Place were huge and elegant. Food are quiet good. We’ve been here to have a happy hour. We’ve reserved a table outside. Then we’ve seated and wait the staffs give us a menu. 15 mins passed they still didn’t give us a menu so we asked for it. Then it passed again lots of minutes to take our orders. After that when our orders arrive, it didn’t arrive all together, it was missing one drink to our one friend. So we’ve waited again for another 10 mins before it arrive the missing drink. But then it doesn’t finished yet. We’ve took a second round and we’ve ordered again then when it arrive for the second time our orders, it was missing again one drink. guess what for the same person. What a pity situations. It was pity place are good and elegant but service was horrible.

The perfect place for having a drink or having brunch. I've tried it for both occasions. They offer a variety of creative cocktails perfect to test out different flavors. As for their brunch it is very satisfying with different kinds of savory and sweet options. The place is near the deus shop and has a very unique atmosphere to it.

I came 10min early but was let in with no issue, straight away I was spotting cats all around, enjoying the cat friendly decor, I was directed to a table and when I looked ready a lovely person came over to get my order, they are very efficient, everything arrives swiftly and is pretty and delicious! But they do not rush you or put pressure on you, obviously do keep to the 45min out of respect. The cats are lovely, some days they might be more playful but I still got a few quick cuddles. Best place to be for my birthday! 😁😻

I absolutely loved my time here. Sitting reading a book while drinking coffee and eating cookies on a beautiful sunny Friday evening. Most of the cats were sleeping. One or two were walking around. One was sitting very close to me and another directly across from me. I was in awe. Any person who loves cats should absolutely visit this cafe. The staff are lovely and friendly and helpful if you need to ask them anything. I couldn't leave without purchasing their lovely cat ear cup and a crazy cat cafe t-shirt. I need to bring something with me as a reminder of how wonderful this cat house is. It's absolutely purrfect. The cats will leave an imprint on your soul ~ 🐾

Lovely place for cat lovers . They have a various menu and the place is very warm. Two small details bothered me : 1st when I was entering the waitenees was explaining the concept and the conditions of the place and she was duing not in a very warm way but I understand they receive a lot of visitors and it was the end of the day. 2nd a family had kids and those kids where running from cat to cat. It's good to let your kids be friendly with pets but without bothering them

Stumbled upon this place by accident, but I'm glad we did. Didn't expect the place to be so cozy and clean, the kitties are super cute and chill (they are rescued cats, and you eating there helps them too) and the staff is really nice. But the biggest surprise was the food, especially their desserts, which were oh so delicious. My favorite was the apple crumble.

Best value of any restaurant I've ever been to. We both had a drink, a coffee, an entrée, and shared an appetizer. Our total bill was 67 euros. The food was incredible. It tasted better than it looks and it looks gorgeous 😍. The cats are so cute of course! The staff clearly know each of them well and love them a lot. It is worth going out of your way for, but you probably won't have to.

Wherever we go, there has to be a cat café on the agenda. In Milan, we spent a relaxing time in Crazy Cat Café, which might now rank among my favourites! You don't need to book ahead and there's no entrance fee, just a minimum amount spent on food and drinks (which is easy to reach). We had cake and drinks, but you could even go for a tapas-style dinner or brunch. But the main reason to visit are the cats! They are well taken care of and it's easy to see the team loves the fluffy tenants. Most of them are named after famous musicians, which was a nice little touch. All of them are super adorable and approachable and very friendly. It was a joy watching and/or petting them - even though one tried to sneak a bite of the cake. Cheeky bugger! I highly recommend any cat lover to stop by here, get a bite and a drink and enjoy the feline company!

What can I say, just a wonderful experience all around. The dessert I had tasted great, the employees are all clearly so in love with their cats and the casts themselves seemed to be quite comfortable. Shootout to Freddie who sat on the counter and let me pet him :)

I tried the dumplings and ravioli, and they were absolutely delicious served hot and perfectly complemented by the soy sauce. The flavors were rich and satisfying. I definitely recommend giving them a try! The staff were also very kind and welcoming, which made me feel satisfied with the service.

I've been here before and I just feel like the dumplings have changed. The service is still super quick and the people are so nice. However the dumplings themselves weren't great, the meat (beef) was extra chewy as if undercooked, and there wasn't really anything special about them. I am sad to write this review as we used to really like this place.

Actually was pretty authentic and delicious (wasn’t expecting that in Milan). Really enjoyed my meal and the hometown tianjin cooking. The 凉皮 and 煎饼果子were particular standouts. Will certainly be back next time I return to Milan. What a pleasant surprise to have this as an option when I need a change from the Italian food!

There is a store adjacent to it where you can seat to eat the dumplings . The Gong Bao claypot rice is horrible. Rice is soggy (meant to be dry), and sour. Tastes like they went ham with the black vinegar. Not exaggerating to say it’s the worse claypot rice I’ve had in my life Good mind to chuck the entire pot away

We came here after reading the reviews and photos but we were very disappointed. Normally we like Chinese cuisine but this place was definitely far from the Chinese cuisine we liked. You will understand when you look at the latest reviews. They also failed in terms of hygiene.

The dumplings were quite large and the wrapping is pasta. Pretty much billed. It was super fast to receive our pork and steak dumplings after we ordered. You can choose if you want soy sauce or spicy sauce, or both. The spicy sauce really added great depth. If you order more than one thing, it’s challenging to eat it without sitting on the ground. There were only two high tops in the vicinity and they were occupied.

The place is very welcoming, with a nice, warm atmosphere and, despite the small area, it doesn't feel cramped. Their best asset is a very vast tea selection, with high quality leaves and a wide array of flavours, with more than reasonable prices. As for the food, they have a good selection of pastries, in which you can find many vegan or gluten free options, as well as a few of both. However, because of the choice of flour, some sweets feel a bit dry, so I recommend always ordering with a nice beverage.

Best ice cream in Milan…. BY FAR!!!! Multigenerational artisan ice cream maker. We will go everyday until we leave Milan. We tried 8 flavours because we could not choose…. All of them were excellent. Since it was the third Gelateria we tried , we were starting to despair in finding a good one. Very nice people too.

If you’re near the Centrale area and craving gelato, Gelateria Paganelli is a solid choice! This family-run gelateria has a long history, and you can tell from the care they put into their gelato. The staff (or perhaps they're the owners?) were also very warm and friendly. We even had a nice little chat while ordering, as they were curious about where we came from. 😀 I tried the nocciola and fior di latte, and both were excellent. The texture was smooth and creamy with just the right sweetness. The nocciola stood out for its rich, nutty flavor made from the best Piedmont hazelnuts. Paganelli was also previously awarded the coveted Tre Coni, the highest distinction from Gambero Rosso given only to Italy’s top gelaterie... and it truly lives up to that recognition!

Maybe the most amazing gelateria in Milan! Everything was really tasty and flavours were really unique! And the staff was so friendly and helpful, she told us everything about each flavour and even a bit of the history of the cafe! When we are back to Milan we will definitely come back to this place!

I got the pistachio with peppers at a restaurant near my hotel and came here for the real thing! The pistachio is delicious, roasted, and you wait a moment, and the heat develops nicely without being overpowering. They have other interesting gelatos, the olive oil and the nocio are both good. I’ll be back

3 euros for a small and good portion size. You can get 2 flavors in the small. The service is very friendly, the gentleman offered to translate the flavors for me from Italian and English. We got fruit flavors and almost all of them had little bits of their respective fruit inside. Each one was true to its name and tasted very smooth. I really like the cherry, which used a ripe cherry flavor rather than the usual tart cherry flavor. There's not a lot of seating so be prepared to grab and go.

This gelateria was recommended to us by expert guide Elizabeth Jones. Just as she told us, the gelato is superb. The Paganelli family has been making gelato for just about 100 years. Francesco is the third generation. As Elizabeth told us, if a gelateria makes fresh gelatos from local fruits in season, that is a tell. Over two visits, we sampled hazelnut, fig, Sicilian orange, American grape and melon with szechuan pepper. All outstanding. Highly recommended. The Paganellis are as nice as their gelato is delicious.

This place is so well-designed — modern, spacious, and super aesthetic. Walking around is actually fun. There are tons of food options, bakeries, and even a big section for gourmet goods and snacks that are perfect for gifts or souvenirs. Wine & alcohol section is next level. So many labels, and some pretty rare bottles too.

it took me by surprise about this hotel. from outside looks something not good but when we enter the hotel everything looks different. The hotel is nice and clean. our room is bigger than any standard room I stayed in Italy. the was big and clean. The front office guy is very nice and friendly. He told us details of where we can go to visit. And the location of the hotel is very convenient and close to the central station. and also a lot of restaurants are near by the hotel area. The breakfast is simple but good . Specially Croisant with pistachio is so yummy 😋.

The quality of the products was excellent — really fresh and high quality. I wouldn’t say it was the most delicious one I’ve ever had, but the freshness and quality were truly outstanding. The staff were nice and professional. It’s surrounded by many other businesses, so it might not be very easy to find, but I managed to find parking easily on the street.

A good stop for grocery shopping. It's gone a wide range of fresh and dry ingredients. The best part is that, it opens as early as 8am. Good for early morning persons. Just some fresh cooking counters only open at 11.

We came here for brunch. Price wise it's on the high side. We had the pastry selection, avocado on toast and scrambled eggs with bacon. It was all ok. I think this is the kind of place you would come for for it's atmosphere. Service team were good and efficient, but food was quite average, I think the buffet breakfast at Westin was better than this. But generally if you want to do it for the gram. Perhaps this would be for you. I do like the shopping store by the cafe. Great selection of branded clothing.

I had a nice breakfast here, on a quiet Sunday morning. Pro tip: Go early, beat the crowds. Nice decor and service. Love the garden feel in the outdoor seating area. There are more economical breakfasts available in Milan, but if you want a lovely and peaceful setting, this could be the spot for you.

Went to Bar Basso this evening at the strong recommendation of a friend at home. The ambiance was cute and the drinks were reasonable; aperitivo was basic. (Olives and chips - other aperitivo seemed to be reserved for later in the evening/bigger spenders.) At the end of the meal, our waiter shouted at us repeatedly (in Italian; neither of us speak it) about a misunderstanding with the bill until his colleague confirmed he’d just noted the tab was in cash and quickly switched to card. We settled immediately and left. It was a simple misunderstanding which led to an inordinate amount of hostility from our server. My partner and I were both clearly a bit surprised by the encounter as was his colleague who sorted the whole thing near-instantly. Given the hostility from the server we’d never return, nor would we recommend it to other travellers.

Dropped by Bar Basso recently — the experience was a bit mixed but mostly positive. The menu was a little crumpled and worn. Just a heads-up: the menu only includes drinks, so don’t come hungry. The service was genuinely good — staff were friendly, quick, and clearly knew their cocktails.

We stopped by Bar Basso in Milan for a quick drink, and it turned out to be a nice experience. The drinks were excellent, and the place offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The food was just okay, but the service can be a bit slow. That said, the lively vibe makes up for it — the place is quite popular among youngsters and has a great atmosphere to unwind with friends.

Service was terrible. We had to wait super long to be even handed a menu. When we went, the bar wasn't even super busy. The 2 tables beside us were clearly weren't happy either. An Italian guy (bless you, sir) had to complain for us that we weren't being served because he also wasn't getting good service either. This is supposedly the birthplace of the Negroni Sbagliatto. Maybe the sbagliatto was born out of incompetence instead of it being intentional and these guys just got lucky.

Historical Milanese Bar for aperitivo. Service was t great. They brought us the wrong order twice. Not too much attention to the customer. Overall quite pricey.

It's a fun atmosphere and an interesting historical bar, but oh man the service is bad and extremeeeely slow. Many tables around us were visibily angered at the lack of attention. The younger Black gentleman bussing tables was trying to help and was polite and apologetic but was helpless at getting the orders out. Make this guy the manager! Good drinks but honestly can't really recommend!

Funky and chic pizzeria with a dark atmosphere and loud music. We opted to sit outside rather than inside but the restaurant was buzzy and lively with pizza and cocktails. It’s provides a unique spin on different flavours of pizza and cocktails to accompany them, as well as a few traditional favourites. A fun spot for those wanting to branch out and try something a little different.

Maybe we ordered the wrong things but the dishes were one-note and unbalanced. The granny smith apples that were suppose to bring acidity and tartness to the salad were overwhelmed by the salad dressing, which should have been used more judiciously. Only once did I taste mint in the half of the Evergreen pizza I ate. It was much needed, as again the sauce much like in the salad, needed a counter flavor to really shine. Lastly, what was up with the giant ice cubes in the non-alchoholic drinks. If half the glass is ice, charge half the price. Unless of course, the ice was suppose to be the star of the mocktail.

Carlos and Marva made our experience outstanding from start to finish. They were extremely professional, warm, and attentive, taking the time to recommend the perfect starter and pizza for us. Their suggestions were spot on — the flavors were rich, authentic, and absolutely delicious. The pizza here is truly among the best in Milan, with a perfect balance of ingredients and texture that makes it unforgettable. Best pizza I have ever tried hands down. Me and my partner went to Dry thinking we’d find a cute dinner paired with fairly good drinks. We did find great drinks, but what surprised us was the amazing pizza. I recommend the Mediterranean and the Baccalà pizzas. You’ll never go back asking for a margherita ever again. Will revisit soon to re-experience that flavor combo, and to grab a drink or two or three with friends or for date night

Brilliant evening at Dry! The entrance with the carpaccio & the foccacia special (awarded by 50 Top Pizza) was outstanding. The pizzas and the desserts obviously too, delicious! Furthermore, the service by Carlos, Nas & Vincenzo was simply lovely, 10 out of 10! Carlos accompanied us through the whole evening with recommendations & explanations, and then got Vincenzo for us who suggested us his own drink creation which was a especially tastful experience. Thank you, will be back guys!

The pizza was underwhelming. We’ve been to a few 50 top pizza restaurants around Europe and this one was the most disappointing. Pretty bland, poorly seasoned, the dough was less fluffy, more chewy than classic napolitan style pizzas I‘ve had before. They sat as at the table next to the staff bar/register at a narrow passage (one should really maybe think about removing that table) even though the restaurant wasn’t full and we reserved in advance. The staff made a shocked face when we asked for salt (ps I usually like my food not very salty 🫣) because the food was just that bland. The cocktails were really nice. Gin and tonic classically with tonic on the side, would prefer to have it premixed since it‘s a cocktail place. Would recommend ordering a cocktail and keeping expectations on the lower side for the pizza. The pizza is good, however would not say top 50 in Europe. The bar side of the space is pretty loud. The pizzeria side is nicer but the tables are pretty narrowly separated.

Great spot. Great pizzas. Great cocktails. Great vibe. Everything was above par. We had a focaccia with Vitello tonnato, an evergreen pizza and a margharita. The Evergreen is just splendid with crispy guanciale and zucchini cream + flowers + fried. Staff were super kind. And seriously it’s amazing value for money.

When we asked for clarification, the manager was quite rude and kept insisting the policy was ‘very clear’ instead of just explaining it kindly.

extremely bad service. We miscounted number of people, so we asked if we could have an extra chair to sit together at a table which was way smaller than our party. The server freaked out, started to react so rude. We sat separately, as it was not possible to be even closer, we tried to order some food. The server apparently told the team that WE CANT HAVE food? As we were more than our original reservation. You think it’s normal? We couldn’t just go away as it was a gathering organized for our children, but this was just a beyond insane. Finally, she kicked us out because the table after us has arrived so we should leave IMMEDIATELY. Girl you should find another job if that’s your mood.

The vine and the atmosphere are amazing, but last time I went there were at least 2 stray people selling roses and cigarettes. The city is full of them, but I expected them not to be let in an ruin the atmosphere, as they are very insistent, barging on us at the table trying to sell us things.

Service was very good, young staff but very prepared. Big selection of unusual wines, they have labels which are not on common market. Food was also good, portions are more like half portions than normal dishes, but taste was fine! The place has a big terrace and also a lot of room inside. Only thing I complain are the desserts. The pistacchio ice cream was not even half scoop, and the baked apple was not cooked enough and was still hard.

Beautifully arranged space with designer furniture and awesome books on sale. I really loved that it's located on the first floor of the building, far from the noise of the street. Tasty coffee and awesome homemade cakes and great music. It's a pity that during the weekends you can only study in the separated area.

Great spot for remote work. The interiors are stylish and comfortable, and there is a large terrace where you can work or chill in the sun. The atmosphere is relaxed and not too corporate, which makes it easy to focus. Francesca and her team are always super friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

Pretty good co-working space. Do take note it is more catered towards working adults, so the entry price is steep if you’re a student. But the receptionist was very kind in telling me that the price drops to 10€ (19€ original) from 2pm onwards. So if you’re a student, you should take advantage of that. One coffee and free flow water. The bar prices are pretty affordable and in-line with outside prices. But the quality of the food is not that great. (I had poke bowl) Overall, if you’re a student, there are better places to study.

A co-working space and bookstore that is a great environment to work, but you need to buy a day pass to use the space, which makes it a bit expensive if you’re not committed to working for the whole day. If you just go for the cafe, you are allowed to stay for about an hour without buying the day pass. Otherwise, beautiful atmosphere and filled with other people hard at work.

Nice place, friendly stuff and quiet atmosphere. The biggest drawback may be the price. While it makes a filter having almost always a free table, and the Wifi is really good, I cannot avoid but feeling a bit scammed. Paying 10 euro for going to a bar may be a bit expensive for a non Milanese. This doesn't include any food nor drink. It has access to a broad variety of books. The bar prices are affordable, a sandwich an a bottle of water 5 euros. One cappuccino 1,60. The open card has some discounts.

Il Carpaccio delivered a delightful dining experience with perfectly cooked steak and fresh, flavorful fish. The crème brûlée was a standout finale—creamy, crisp-topped, and beautifully balanced.

Diner at Il Capaccio, I choose a local beer from Sardaigne unfiltered type, better than Heineken… it came with salty snacks. Then I hot scallop from the oven a bit too dry, I was expecting a sauce with it. Then a tuna steak with raw vegetable completed with a grappa from the barrel and finally tiramisu. The service was excellent, the food good but a little more of yumami could made it better.

A rare find in the Milan suburbs. This restaurant offers excellent selection of seafood, pasta and meat mains. The service was impeccable and food really value for money. A solid 4.5 for me.

Staff was unbelievably accommodating, kind and helpful. The food was equally as impressive. The spaghetti and clams was both beautiful and arguably the best pasta dish I've ever had in my life. The dessert pear also caught me off guard with both it's presentation and taste. This place is truly a gem and will always have a piece of my heart.

I come here every time I travel to Milan for work, now for 7-8 years. The restaurant is opposite my hotel, there is always space and they welcome me back as a known face, and give me the same table every time. The food is incredible, I always get the fresh fish - sea bass is my favourite ! After I found out that it is a family owned business, with the father, sister and son all working in the restaurant, and the grandma sometimes taking payment - I come even more frequently to support the family business. Top recommendation if you are in the area.

Had a absolutely delicious meal, fromaggio with honey, tuna steak and fillet steak. Both melted in your mouth and the sauce on the steak was to die for! Wonderful friendly service to non speaking Italians, ambience great and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

A small and unique butcher shop turned eatery, Zen’s place hides an authentic culinary experience that takes street food to another level. Every dish we tried, along with the carefully selected wine, was chosen with love and attention by Zen and his family. Warm atmosphere, personal service, and unforgettable flavors. This place is fantastic, away from most tourists and by the river. It is almost like a butcher at the market. If you go outside on the weekend, they have tables and local musicians for entertainment. They also sell local wines, and the meats are from naturally raised animals. You may want to ask what everything is... But whatever you do, try the "Grandma's recipe meatballs". Yum!!! Enjoy!

A rare street food gem in Milan! I ordered Genovese Panini/ Burger (?) and they made it right there! Really yummy and worth the long line I had to wait in. The place is inside a market in the Navigli area, so you can takr it outside and eat it by the river, to have a little "wanderlust" experience in a day!

Hands down, this was the best saffron risotto I’ve ever had — absolutely exquisite. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. I was also impressed by the elegant and classy interior, which added to the overall dining experience. To top it all off, they offered complimentary chocolate, which was a delightful and thoughtful touch.

One of the best pastry shops in town. They also have savory dishes. I always go here for coffee and dessert. Would recommend the tiramisu.

We came to this café one full hour before the official closing time shown on Google. The bald waiter pointed out the early closing only to us (not to other customers), and even before the time he mentioned had arrived, he brought the bill without us asking, basically rushing us out while we were still enjoying our order. Just randomly popped in because of its high review. The tiramisu here tastes not bad. However, the service attitude was quite disappointing. The staff just slammed the plate on the table, which made the experience unpleasant. There's no doubt that he has a discrimination on Asian people, as he provided good service to other customers. Its a good place! In the month of august present year 2024 We got a prenotation in this location good service they reponse immediately in the problem occured during our stay. Our appartment presents very nice very accomodating complete with the compliments. The price is good with the "collazione normale tipo brioche coffee all tipe or spremuta". Suggestion of some affettati misti and scramble eggs if possible for the B&B occupants😇. And one thing in our appartment i suggest one big mirror in mid of the door were the letto a.castello is and the door of the bathroom for the use of whom is using the divano letto in salotto. Its only a suggestion!😇 we have stayed very well sleep comodo! Grazie infite a tutti!!!

Brunch is super. Highly recommended on both meat and fish option. The vitello tonnato is amazing, not a lot. Burgers are definitely to be reviewed. The meat was too cooked and the bun too dry and crunchy, maybe left too much in the oven. Overall the place is recommended for Sunday brunch

It was our first time here for breakfast. The place was noticibly packed. A very nice setting where they are utilizing an already existing building. They had to make use of the elongated space. Two floors and an outdoor seating, where the top floor is used for 4-person table. Food was good and as mentioned by many of the customers, the staff was nice. I like it.

The location is really lovely and you can choose to sit in different places, according to your preference. The overall quality of the food is good and there's a wide variety to choose from: bakery, pastry and coffee shop. Moreover, the staff is both hearty and professional.

We stumbled upon Café del Pess while walking through Menaggio, and it turned out to be the perfect spot to slow down and soak in the charm of Lake Como. Sitting outside, right on the main square, you get the most gorgeous view — colorful buildings behind you, the lake in front of you, and mountains in the distance. It honestly feels like you’re inside a painting 🎨💙. The coffee was smooth and rich, the pastries were fresh and delicious (especially the jam-filled cookies and the slice of cake we tried), and the vibe was so relaxed. It’s the kind of place where you could sit for an hour without realizing it — just watching the quiet rhythm of the town and the glimmer of the lake. The service was friendly, and although it’s in a prime location, it didn’t feel overly touristy or rushed. If you’re in Menaggio, I definitely recommend stopping here — whether for breakfast, a sweet treat, or just to enjoy la dolce vita with a cappuccino in hand. ☀️🇮🇹

Finally a healthy salad after eating too much pizza and pasta in Italy! Delicious, nice service, lakeside atmosphere was gorgeous! Only downside for us was smokers on the outside dining, but that’s to be expected here in Italy I guess!

Came in for a quick breakfast. Cappuccino and croissants are pretty typical of Italy. Prices are affordable and views are stunning. Just note you cannot take away croissants, you have to sit in.

There is no other place where I can enjoy Menaggio as much as in the Cafè Del Pess. The view of the promenade, the lake, and the hustle and bustle of Piazza Garibaldi is wonderful. The food is surprisingly good (... for a café), the Aperol Spritz is tasty, and the prices are moderate for this location. If you're lucky, you'll meet Piero, the soul of the café, whose warm manner and humor we've enjoyed since our first visit to Menaggio 20 years ago. The service can seem a little cool and distant — what else would you expect with the masses of visitors from all over the world who regularly act like "God" just because they've ordered a cappuccino. And hey, remember, we're still in northernmost Italy! :) But try a smile and a sincere "Gracie," and you'll find that the ice shell melts very quickly. My rating: always worth a visit and a must for every visitor to Menaggio.

A notable breakfast place in Lake Como. Plenty of seats outside so you can have coffee with a nice view! Ours had cars blocking it so that’s a minus-1 haha. But cornetto and coffee were good, pancakes- nothing special😊 Overall a great place to start before a whole day of getting around Como.
