Excellent seafood spot where you pick your catch and they grill it to perfection. Jumbo shrimp were outstanding, sea bass and sea bream also excellent. The eggplant salad was a standout — unique and delicious. Add in the amazing views right by the water, and it’s a memorable experience.

This is a great restaurant. The staff are friendly. The food was fantastic - super fresh fish perfectly cooked aswell as Greek sides and salads. The eggplant was amazing and the beetroot salad. Lovely fresh bread. The views are wonderful, right over the harbour towards the city. And they have a big terrace with outdoor tables. Don’t miss this place. I managed to get a table for a late lunch but most tables were reserved so it’s best to book.

Love it - every bit. You can pick from the fresh catch of the day, the scene with the fishing boats and all Alexandria bay is another dimension so highly recommend sunset dinners there. The alcohol is fairly priced and the service is top notch. Best place hands down to get a super nice meal in Alex.

Pretty slow service, didn't have several items on the menu, fish was good but chicken dish terrible quality. Local teenagers hanging outside the restaurant trying to force beads onto anyone.

5 stars for the location, the music, the view. We had shrimps, salad, seabass (the greek way), beef, and rice. The fish was a bit tasteless for my palate. I would go for another preparation the next time. Everything else was good. The best thing about the place is that there's beer and wine. Service was fantastic in the afternoon, but very mediocre when we went back for dinner.

Although Délices was one of my favorite restaurant in Alexandria, I , unfortunately had one of the most disappointing meals there today ...that was supposed to be a club sandwich!! The toast was extremely dry, with edges so thick and hard that they were literally impossible to eat (see photo). The chicken was overcooked and dry, and the meat was tough and chewy. The whole sandwich lacked freshness, flavor, and balance. I was expecting much better quality from such a well-known place, but this dish was a complete letdown. I definitely won’t be ordering this again..

I had an amazing experience at Délices ! The service and hospitality were truly exceptional. The place is very nice, one of the oldest places in Alexandria is a mixture of traditional Greek and Egyptian terraces. I recommend coffee and baked goods

The pride shown in their presentation of the food and shop is beautiful. I had a fajita and my partner had a Surf & Turf. Both delicious. Had to takeaway some sweets for later. Could not resist. The Dubai chocolate is very nice.

Delices is one of the most beautiful places in Alexandria A historical place before it was a confectionery and restaurant, founded in 1922 and considered one of the tourist places in the city of Alexandria A complete place to eat, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner And also for sweets and coffee.. Breakfast is very very nice And all kinds of sweets of the highest quality 👏🏻 The atmosphere in the place is wonderful, elegant and beautiful. My favorite place❤️ I recommend for any one want try only one place in Alexandria

We eat here every time we visit Alex. It's one of my favorite restaurants in the city for its ambiance, location, and excellent quality of pizza. The owner is also really friendly and kind. Such a warm, welcoming place!

This was a good restaurant to pick some Italian inspired food at, did expect more from the reviews you see however I wasn't disappointed much. I think their food though tasty could be better served, and cooked. Loved the lasagne, nice carne pizza which is not Italian at all but rather Eastern, cesar salad without chicken surprisingly, and last plate was chicken scallopinni which I can say I tasted better .

The worse service I have ever got. I’m not the one to write reviews, but I will take the time out of my day to make sure I complain about the ridiculousness that happened a few days ago. Went in the restaurant, nice place, staff seemed friendly, everything seemed fine, my friend and I were seated, we did not feel like ordering food, so we ordered 2 desserts and 2 drinks. The waiter then insisted on us buying a main course, and so we did, I ordered a pizza which I did not want, I was going to share with my friend. So the order now is 2 desserts, 2 drinks, and 1 pizza, then the waiter said we need to order another main course. I was honestly filled with rage because the audacity of making me order another main dish after ordering multiple things off the menu and a pizza which we did not want. I will not eat if I don’t want to eat, I will not pay for something I do not want to pay for. Extremely unprofessional and they did not even bother to stop us as we are leaving. I will not be returning since I don’t live in Egypt anyways, huge inconvenience , and a huge disappointment. Honestly whole situation was kind of weird that a restaurant would do this or allow this. I will tell My friends that live here not to go. Need to make changes asap because that’s not how you do business, cannot let the customer walk out, 0/10 experience.

NEVER going back again this place has become unbearable. i’ve been going to chez gaby over the years and it gets worse everytime. - The staff is unwelcoming, rude, and full of arrogance. - The manager insists that EACH seated person MUST order a main course. you can’t even opt for just desert or a drink or an appetizer. - You’re not allowed to change tables to be seated at the table you like unless 1) each person reorders a main course AGAIN even if they had already eaten. 2) previous check is paid while seated on current table - and don’t get me started on the food. it has nothing to do with italian food. the pizza is terrible inedible if i would describe it, it has really deteriorated over the years it wasn’t like that years ago. Even the pasta and the main dishes are under average Me and my friends (group of 4) went for dinner. I arrived a bit late after my 3 friends had already ordered their food and were eating. We asked to change the tables and the waiter said we can’t change with the food already on table and that they’d have to first finish eating and pay and then we can move tables. the waiter also insisted that they pay while seated on our current table. After all that was done and we came to move tables the manager insisted that in order to move tables each person would have to reorder a main dish. as the manager was fighting with us claiming that this is the policy of the place and that this is “not like any restaurant”, my plate arrived and the waiter so stupidly asked me to pay for the plate (mind you it hasn’t been even put on a table for me to eat NOR were we even seated yet, he just wanted me to pay for it) of course i didn’t pay for it and we left the place. it seems like they have lost all sense of logic and respect for their customers و بقوا عايشين الدور قوي

Beyond disappointed from how one my favorite places to eat is downgrading like this. steak was RAW, manager was so rude. I ordered the beef and reef plate to be medium well it first came burnt and i requested it to be redone, second time it came raw with blood coming out of it and the steak felt squishy and then they took it to cook it a bit more and then the third time it also came slightly raw with blood still coming out, i told the manager to return it and that i don't want it anymore she came back to argue with us that we have to order a main dish or they will apply a minimum charge on the cheque while completely ignoring the fact that my order was very disappointing and that the plate was taken to the kitchen THREE times and still they didn’t get it right. The manager kept saying it’s a restaurant and not a cafe which I completely i understand because it is a restaurant and known for it’s food which is why i wanted to take my friend from cairo to visit the place and try the food from the first place but the food was completely disappointing and i lost my appetite from how many times the food went going in and outside the kitchen while it wasn’t cooked properly and after all the arguing i ordered the veal and reef plate because she wouldn’t let us leave without ordering something else , the waiter then came over and told us to order something else because it won’t be cooked properly from how crowded the place is which i then proceeded to tell him that i don’t want to order anything else so he proceeded and told me to order chicken instead . I shouldn’t be forced to eat something i don’t like especially after already ordering something that wasn’t done properly THREE TIMES. They eventually let us leave without ordering something else but the service was a disaster and it shouldn’t be like this especially that it’s on trip advisor and people come from different countries to eat in this place so it’s a really bad representation for a top rated restaurant. This restaurant offers a service so the main concern should be customer satisfaction and nothing else and the treatment we got just proves that they couldn’t care less about that especially that i mentioned that i’m a loyal customer to the place

We had just finished dinner and left when my toddler daughter suddenly needed to use the bathroom. My wife went back inside, and instead of showing a bit of understanding or basic human decency, the staff gave her a very hard time, insisting she couldn’t use the restroom because we were “no longer dining there.” It’s appalling that a restaurant would treat paying customers this way, especially when it involves a young child. We had just eaten there, and this level of rudeness and lack of compassion is unacceptable. We won’t be coming back, and I’d strongly advise others to think twice before supporting a place that treats families like this.

Trianon in downtown Alexandria is a great vintage spot with fantastic vibes and beautiful old decorations that take you back in time. The staff is friendly and welcoming, with a special shoutout to Hegazy, who provided exceptional service and made the experience even more enjoyable. However, the food could use some improvement. I tried the Egyptian breakfast, and unfortunately, it was below average, I expected better in terms of taste and quality. Prices are on the higher side, but given the unique experience of dining at one of the oldest restaurants in the city, it’s somewhat justified. Overall, it’s worth a visit for the nostalgic atmosphere and great service, but don’t go in with high expectations for the food.

Very authentic with great decorations and fantastic location. The sweets are superb made with good ingredients. Service is fine and they don't rush you or push into ordering more. Would be five stars overall if they renovate the toilette and keep it clean. Currently, it is a shame for such a great café. The best historic café in Egypt in my opinion.

Overall the experience was good. We had cappuccino and Mojito. The Mojito was fine but the cappuccino could be way better. I felt it was quixckly made and the coffee was not well-brewed. The vibes were though enjoyable with the live classic music.

I liked it better than Cafe De La Paix because the café was better and the salad tasted better than the food that I got

I went there during Christmas on a rainy day and it was amazing! Very warm Christmasy vibes, lovely warm drinks and desserts.

This place is awesome if you’re into vintage style places. It has beautiful art pieces on the walls. A piano playing in the background and warm lighting. Absolutely wonderful. I tried a dessert but I didn’t like it that much. I’ll go again to try something else so I can be fair 😊 loved it tho!!

It's an old, famous Cafe. With a signature dessert called Baba and chocolate with hazelnut and caramelized sugar. The place is spacious with antique furniture. The coffee was quite average and the food was also the same. It's a must visit if you're looking for those types of vibes!!

SeaSide Restaurant offers an amazing view of Alexandria and the sea, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal while taking in the beautiful surroundings. I tried the risotto with shrimp and seabass, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot on, and the overall experience was fantastic. First time for me at the restaurant but not at the destination, so I am comparing it with the next-door restaurant. The overall experience is not the best. Although the food was delicious but the furniture and the place look like empty or temp location, the staff seems to be lost with a lack of training 🤔 😅, they decided to serve all the food at same time 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Soup 🍲 appetisers and main course all came together, so when I asked to get things back to kitchen and serve it gradually I found all waiters and restaurant manager came to convince me this is better for me 😅, so we had several items went cold 🥶 The check came with an average of 1.1k per person, but the value for money 💰 is not there. The overall experience is not satisfied 😒

Stunning view and delicious food. You choose your fish from the “market” and can see that it is guaranteed fresh. The lemon and mint smoothie is perfect for a hot day. It’s a bit hard to find - head down the alley, going into the building, go up twice and then around the corner.

Through google maps we landed here. The first impression was really good. Classy and stylish just like the lay-out of the plates. The taste of the food was average. It's a pity because the restaurant screams: "We have good foods." Maybe it's the dishes we choose.

It's easy to give 5/5 for every category in this restaurant!! Jeeda's is simply superb in every way possible! Food, drinks, atmosphere and the decorations are something else! Service is 100% top-tier. It's my first time to be here at Jeeda's and definitely will not be the last. 🥂💙🍓

Wonderful experience from start to finish! We went to this restaurant because of the google reviews. So wanted to pop my own one on. We were greeted with a friendly but not in your face hello. My husband is vegetarian and they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy! In the end we chose a veggie paella. Considering we have eaten paella in many Spanish restaurants. This was by far the best we have tasted! The lovely owner Jeeda come and introduced herself and recommended the cheese cake. Which was mouth watering. Delicious sauce and popcorn on the top. You can tell she really cares about this restaurant and her guests! The lighting a décor is perfect! The place is amazingly clean! And the staff are all wonderful! Honestly if I could put 10 stars I would. Will visit again and would highly recommend! :)

Fantastic Food and Service! What a wonderful dinner at Jeeda's! I tried the Paella Mariscos and it was incredible. The seafood was so fresh and abundant, and the rice was full of flavor. We also ended our meal with the Churros, which were crispy, sugary, and delicious. A special shout-out to Bebo, who was our server. He was so friendly and provided excellent service, making our evening even more enjoyable. And a big thank you to Chef Mina for creating such a delicious dish! The entire experience was top-notch. Highly recommend!

What a place. Found it last minute before we headed back to Cairo. Atmosphere was fantastic. Soft jazz music ambiance, stylish decor, and minimal interruptions. Food was very affordable for classy place like this and dirks are wonderful. Thank you to the staff and the owners mother for such a great hospitality. If we ever end up back in Alexandria this would be the first pace we would go to for food. Keep up the good work and hopefully we will see you in near future

We went for business lunch at the place and the we ordered mix grill items and I wanted to try the seafood soup 🍲. First of all the seafood was below average and I didn’t complete the soup and told the waiter. Then the mix grill items was overcooked especially Kofta and the meat 🥩 was not the cut we asked and the chopstick was so bad. Even the salads was so small not tasty 🤤 Overall experience is bad and not recommended at all

I came to this restaurant three times because the food was delicious. But when I came for the third time, the waiter gave me a bad bill with a very bad attitude. I will never come to this restaurant again.

On last Thursday night it was my last night before going back to the uk so my friends decided to invite me for some quality food so they have recommended your place and we were a group of 6. To be honest I didn’t expect it at all. How the food quality was really not great as I had a lamb shank with rice lamb was very cold and not fresh same as the was cold and hard look like they had to reheat my food on microwave and not freshly made. Also my friends wasn’t happy with their food either anyway the whole experience was so disappointed also the service wasn’t really good and the waiter was standing and smoking right next to us where we were eating and not representing his working place very well

I recently had dinned at Ebn El Balad Restaurant and must admit that the food was truly delightful. The dishes served were delicious, and the service provided by the staff was commendable. The restaurant undoubtedly offers an excellent dining experience. However, I feel compelled to address an aspect of my experience that left me with some concerns. As a foreigner, I believe I may have been overcharged for my meal based on the posted menu prices. This issue is a recurring frustration for many travelers, and it is disheartening to encounter such situations. In an effort to provide a fair review and foster open dialogue, I would like to share the details of my bill and the dishes I ordered (total 479.44 EGP) : 1. Stuffed pigeon 2. 1/4 kg Tarab gril 3. Mixed salad 4. One tea 5. 330 ml water Attached are images of both the bill and the exquisite food I enjoyed during my visit. I sincerely hope that someone from the restaurant will address this matter and provide clarification. If it can be proven that I was not overcharged based on my order and the menu prices, I am more than willing to retract my initial concerns and issue an apology for any misinterpretation. As a tourist, feeling welcomed and treated fairly is essential to a positive dining experience. I urge Ebn El Balad Restaurant to consider this matter and ensure transparency in their pricing practices to uphold their reputation as a welcoming establishment for all visitors. I look forward to resolving this matter in good faith and providing an update on the outcome.

Disappointing and Overrated This place is seriously overrated. The food was served cold, and I had to ask for it to be replaced myself—no initiative from the staff. While the staff were overly friendly, it felt more like a push for tips than genuine service. The prices are high for what you get, and the overall experience just didn’t match the cost or the hype. I wouldn’t recommend it—try somewhere else.

Food is a tasty cheap place to stop for a bite while exploring Alexandria. I paid 40 egp for my fuul Alexandria and it was so tasty. Lots of vegetarian options. Server messed up the order twice but that was ok I liked all the things I tried including falafel and pita bread and salad.

Perfect for vegetarians. I ordered the tamaya (falafel) and got it to go. Wandered around and enjoyed the sunset, and it was still crispy when I got back. Also, try the grilled halloumi. (Gibna is cheese in Arabic). Cheap.

Is the best place to eat in whole Egypt, the don’t scam you, they give you real prices, they are really polite and the food is delicious! I went twice on the same day because you fell super confortable there. Whole diner for 3 persons, including drink 263 Egyptian Pounds!

Seems like a good place, but I was not told that the place has a different name or that they have a dresscode. After I called them to reserve for two. So I travelled to the place looking for it, then I was told that I can't get in because I am wearing shorts. The host was so polite though.but I was so disappointed.

I stumbled into this place occasionally, and was intrigued by the title. So, I wasn't expecting to find such a cosy place for coffee lovers. The coffee collection is impressive, the staff are super friendly and helpful. I chose blended iced coffee and that was better than all places in Alexandria, neither overly sweet nor watery. Can't wait to try grounded coffee from this spot.

Very good om Ali (Egyptian food with baked puff pastry milk and suger) made in the oven and covered with lots of nuts.. Delicious om Ali.. Small place with friendly staff and a sea front position that you will enjoy Alexandria good weather in winter and summer.. Surving also ice-cream and rice with milk and all those good tasty stuff to eat

Good value for money, but they definitely added some tap water to water down their mango ice cream. I thought it was a bit too sweet. Average at best. But average ice cream is still pretty good.

First time in Alexandria, I randomly walked into this restaurant. Overall, the food was just edible, nothing memorable. Moreover, the waiter did not serve us. We sat at the table for more than ten or twenty minutes, and no one came to ask. After we called them again and again, two menus were thrown over. The most critical thing is that when we were still eating dessert, an old waiter interrupted our conversation and asked if we wanted to pay. I didn't want to spoil the fun, so I forced to agree. We checked the bill and found that 34 service charges were added (and there was no prior notice). Okay, I accepted it again. The most serious problem came. I gave them 400 Sichuan 367, but they only returned me 30 without any notice. I was forced to be eat the money, and they were justified. This is my third day in Egypt, a country, and I encountered this kind of thing, so please just save your each single dollar and please don't get involved!

We love this place. It's a beautifully rustic restaurant with a wonderful oven in the middle of Alexandria. The interior is very inviting, you feel right at home. The waiters and chefs also contribute a lot to this. If you sit upstairs you get the chance to watch them do your order.

I love this restaurant, it has a very cozy and rustic atmosphere and is located in right in downtown Alexandria. During my stay in the city I went there three times, and was always surprised by the lovely food and friendly staff.

Gad Stanley branch is awsome. Try Griled cheese Sandwich, Fava beans sanwich, and fried eggplant. And eat it in fron of the sea.

Wrong orders arriving all the time whenever they have a "reason" not to focus: Such as on early morning. Or fridays. Or Eid. Or Ramadan. Or weekend evenings. So basically all the time. My trust is gone!

This is the kantook sandwich when i opened it. Worst experience ever. The chicken was hanging out of the sandwich as if it’s too big but the reality feels like someone had a bite from the middle and left the sides hanging. There is almost no chicken in the sandwich. Check the photo.

With Covid19 situation, the restaurant management is taking the full requirement to insure the social distance and using the masks with Hand Sanitizer Gel regularly. Food is good and the location is the nearest to The land mark bridge famous for photo sessions “ Stanley Bridge”

Super fresh and tastes like heaven. No mistakes unlike other branches where the chicken would be spoiled. Best branch in Alexandria for KFC. Highly highly recommend.

I placed an order through the KFC app and everything went fine and the app told me it would be ready in 5-7 minutes since I was ordering for it to be pick up because I was in KFC Roshdy and I wait almost 30 minutes for me to go ask the waiter and for him to say that he doesn't know anything about the order! and then after 10 minutes of waiting and him still saying nothing reflected on their end the manager comes and points to an order meaning it was the waiters fault for not seeing the order therefore not preparing it and after they started working on it and the order was ready they had the audacity to ask me to come pick the order myself to take it to where I'm sitting and the food was cold and some of the bread on the twistook or whatever it was called was burnt. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional and careless of them and I deserve some sort of compensation and even after everything they didn't bother even taking the order and putting it on my table when it all was their fault and they wasted so much of my time. Shame on them. Never again.

The staff are scammers. They charge you for a large meal even when you ask for the regular even though the only things that would be bigger are the fries (and even they weren't large). The chair I sat on was broken and I nearly fell and had an accident. Food was mediocre. Avoid this place and go to another brand where they have respectable staff. Although I am pretty sure this is company policy. Take my advice and spend your money elsewhere for eating out.

worst branch ever.. It is supposed to be good as the location is great. but the chicken and fries were really oily. Order came with faulty drinks and i had to replace them. The tray was missing salad spoons, napkins and straws and i had to return again to get them.. Order was missing a piece of chicken so i returned and got it.. the staff was polite.. the toilets were dirty and smelly.

Went for location but you can't see Stanley bridge from ground floor but upstairs. it's nearby. Good sitting area and service.

This was the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. It took them 30 minutes for a kids meal, and they didn't include the toy. The food tasted bad (too salty and cold). I also noticed that they were quicker in serving delivery orders than ordering in store.

Aside from the loud teenagers which is totally outside McDonald's control everything was cool, quick and very welcoming

Potasta , Egyptian restaurant brand , They have all kinds of pasta 🍝. , normal pasta , Baked pasta , with all kinds of meats , shrimp or chicken 🍗 . As a three person we try three kind of meal I very love my baked pasta shrimp 🍤 . Very nice 😊 Decoration are very simple . We pay for three pasta and three drinks 🍹 230 £ Egyptian , fully recommendation .

We visited this Eid around 3 in the morning. I was quite surprised by one of the servicemen's attitude (he was probably their boss because he was strictly talking to one of the waiters in front of us in a stiffy manner). Buffalo Burger is always tasty enough to give it a visit, but this branch's service was disturbing. Perhaps they were fed up since we visited late right before they closed. Not to mention the fries weren't fresh at all.

I know this place for over 10 years and it’s didn’t change over the years. The food is good didn’t try it all but the salad bar is always fresh, the pizza always good the service is nice fast and the price is okay. My only point I need some maintenance but the view in the sea make it work it.

Perfect salads, good pizza and service... But bathroom needs to be fixed and cleaned a little bit however, totally it's a good place to visit i recommend it.

It was clean and calm, the services were good enough to repeat this visit, i ordered Chicken pizza and it was so yummy, and i tried the sea food pizza but it wasn't good at all, the quality of the sea food was so bad, but the other types was so delicious and looks fresh. The atmosphere is good for families and friends. There is a meals for kids with a toys which is kinda cute. I recommend the chicken and meats pizza, the burger is good too. There's a lot of branches in Alexandria such as city square, San Stefano and khaled ibn elwaleed.

Worst McDonald’s visit i ever had They managed to ruin all three items of the order, big tasty sandwich without cheese, ordered sprite but got coke even though he asked during the meal preparation 2 times and even though it is already mentioned on his ordering screen. Manager was rude to both a young employe and another customer.

Truly bad experience I had diarrhea and got sick because of the food , & I could see they don't use gloves or overhead or any type of hygiene standards & I couldn't see how they're preparing the food so u can't tell their level of hygiene in the food preparation.

Great quality but there are renovations above it , which are unsafe for it to operate. Not adequately designed for dine in. Yet it offers a wide range of menu items.

I payed like 160 for that burger

Now i can say i had the best coffee and breakfast in my whole life Portion is so large it can be enough for 2 people so delicious Cappuccino is just wow , the staff is so friendly and kind I enjoyed to the max I totally recommend this wonderful place to all and for sure i will repeat this experience over and over ♥️
