This a great place, not as authentic I am sure as others around. The food was decent. Shrimp was a bit fishy to me, the gumbo was good, the potatos were basic, and the beignets were superb. I felt like the drinks were a bit strong not that my fiance complained, but I don't care for the straight taste of alcohol. The wait was a bit long but not awful. It's a tight cozy establishment. Not bad.

We had a pleasant experience at French Press. The ambience was lovely and vibrant, especially during brunch hours. It does get crowded, so we had to wait about 25 minutes for a table. Since we had a baby with us, the table felt a bit small and cramped. That said, the food made up for it. While not completely authentic, the chicken and waffles were absolutely delicious. The chicken was incredibly crispy and had a flavorful glaze that hit just right. I also loved their latte - smooth and rich. The classic breakfast was simple but well done. Overall, it was a decent brunch spot with great food and a cozy vibe.

We had a bit of a wait, but the friendly staff made up for it. After a 15-minute wait, our food took around 45 minutes to arrive. The drinks were a highlight - the mimosa and Irish coffee were both delicious! As for the food, the truffle fries were a standout, earning a solid 9/10. However, the chicken and waffles were a letdown, with the dish being overly sweet and the waffle overcooked (6/10). Unfortunately, the shrimp wrap was also disappointing, with only six tiny shrimp in it (4/10). Overall, the experience was decent, but the kitchen could work on speeding things up and refining their dishes.

Perfect lunch experience. The smell of the restaurant alone will have your mouth watering. Greeted by friendly staff and seated quickly. Kind-hearted servers took great care of us keeping our coffee cups full and going over all our options. The boudin biscuits is a must try! 🥐🥪☕️

This was our first time eating here. We drove in from Alexandria LA. We started off with 2 appetizers the truffle fries and the praline bacon. They both were delicious. My friend and I ordered the Cajun Benedict. Toasted French bread, boudin patty, American cheese, 2 poached-medium eggs topped with our chicken & andouille gumbo. We both enjoyed our meal. It was quite delicious. Our other friend ordered the chicken and waffles. Fried chicken strips tossed in LeBlancs Cane Jelly on top of a cheddar waffle. She enjoyed her meal as well. I had a POINSETTA mimosa and the had the french press mimosa. Both drinks were great. Our server was very nice and pleasant. We didn't want for anything. She made us feel cared about. The atmosphere was calming very peaceful to eat here. I would recommend coming here to eat again.

I had the pleasure of dining here for a birthday celebration. The aesthetic and atmosphere is definitely a vibe. I ordered 4 rounds of The Grand Mimosa that's mixed with Grand Marnier 🤌🏽🤪. I also ordered the breakfast sandwich but inside a wrap with a side of potatoes 10/10. Also, I just wished they had a bigger building that accommodate large tables like we had and also more servers .

My first time at this location, and I really liked it a lot! Much more spacious and better parking compared to the downtown location (which makes sense). I ordered the Breesus boudin biscuits with potatoes while my friend had the crab cake benedict with potatoes, and everything was great!!! What made it even better was the “free 2 mimosas to medical personnel” Monday-Friday 7am-2pm! Offered at both locations!!! So make sure to go at that time if you qualify!

This is a great spot for modern Southern food. There’s no kids' menu, but it’s kid-friendly. The biscuits are amazing—fresh, flaky, and delicious. The burgers were just okay because the bun was a bit soggy inside. The fried green tomatoes were crispy with a nice chili kick. Overall, it’s a nice place with a good atmosphere and tasty food.

I recommend the biscuits and honey as well as the chicken-fried green tomatoes! Great spot. I will say that the honey that comes with the biscuits is a little spicy so be mindful of that. 😎

We had an amazing experience at Social. Our drinks were TOP TIER. Our bartender Colt did such a great job! Drinks were well-balanced and flavor was on POINT. Service was amazing! Our food was timely and delicious. We will be back and tell all of our friends to come here too.

My wife and I enjoy a rare date night. I had the steak & frites and my wife had the smoked Chicken & Sweet Potato Biscuits. The food was very good. The service was top shelf and the atmosphere was perfect. We were looking for a place we could actually have a conversation and not have to yell across the table.

Our server, I believe her name was Kate, was awesome! We came in on a Wednesday for lunch and had the Mac and cheese and it was the best I’ve ever had. And I’m pretty critical of Mac n cheese. Haha. It was AMAZING. I had met someone who used to be a chef there (Robert Kennedy - actual name, no relation) and he recommended we go while in town. And it did not disappoint. Everything was so flavorful and the portions were huge for the price! Honestly, it was a great deal for exceptional food. Will definitely recommend and be back. 🤤

Even though they are going through and renovations this place is gorgeous! Everyone we encountered was absolutely the sweetest. Abby was our waitress and even for being busy she was on top of everything from drinks to food. The food oh my gosh my mouth eaters just thinking about it. It was so delicious and flavorful. The drinks were beautifully on point also and so yummy. Highly recommend!!!

Ate there twice in two days for breakfast. Service was a little slow, but it’s because they were busy. All the staff was hustling. All the food was excellent. Had the crawfish omelet, then a bacon/egg biscuit and a sweet potato pancake (they’re huge). 10/10. The biscuits are out of this world good. The sweet potato pancake is very much like a gingerbread pancake. Also excellent. Kids had the beignets. They were good, but my daughter switched to biscuits the next day and said she preferred them. I miss it already.

Everything was so delicious. We had breakfast, and the eggs tasted like home. And the toast is my favorite part. It is made within house. It was perfection. And our server was sweet, friendly and super helpful. She was the only server on our side and she handled her business like a boss with multiple tables full.

I was told to come here for breakfast and I'm glad I did. This place is a breath of fresh air for breakfast. My waitress, Heidi, was very helpful with the menu and is a bundle of energy. If you order coffee be ready for the entire pot to come to your table. The brisket omelette with creamed spinach was incredible! If you love brisket, I highly recommend it. They make homemade toast and the hash browns are fabulous. The walls are are decorated with a lot of great things to look at. Got to look at the entire place to soak it all in. It was a special treat watching the staff doing something with the register with tape. Love the energy. I highly recommend this place. If you drive by too fast you'll miss it. What a treat!!!!

Loved the friendly atmosphere, Customer service was great The food was delicious, we had The Brisket sandwiches and my goodness they where yummy. Plate lunch Truky wings in a gravy with white rice and green beans. My husband loved it.

Friendly staff. Portion size is generous. Some of the sides are hit and miss. Fried catfish and fried pork chops were on point.

Really mad that I ate here the last day of my trip. Would have been here a few more times at least. Everything for breakfast was great, and the owner is very pleasant.

my kind of place local real food I started off with the order of beignets and I ate all six of them. They were different than any others. I’ve had kind of like a croissant type dough very flaky next time I’ll order extra sugar. I’m waiting for the number for breakfast with a hamburger patty eggs over easy well-done hashbrowns biscuit and I added a little gravy for my biscuit

Lunch with my 3 kids. 4/4 empty plates! Even the picky kid liked the chicken strips! The grilled shrimp was good. The grilled chicken salad was perfect- decent amount of chicken and perfectly flavored.

Good basic diner. Best part is how quick they are with bringing food out. Minus stars for cleanliness at the table. There was trash at the table they seated me. I also didn't particularly like the hash browns but my egg sandwich was fine.

As a former resident of Lafayette who worked in downtown at the now defunct Daily Advertiser, I have a history eating at Dwyers, not to mention it has been there for little over 100 years. When I began eating at Dwyer's, it was just counter service - not the larger dining areas and outdoor seating that exists now. It was pleasure to return and enjoy a #2 breakfast with grits on sleepy Monday morning. I enjoyed walking through the entire space before finding a seat, admiring the stained glass windows, ceiling fans, red brick walls, wood floors and of course, the wall of history, which took me back to a time before I discovered it. This morning I chose to dine on patio, where I enjoyed people watching and friendly passersby of regulars as I waited for my breakfast. My server was very efficient and friendly, addressing me with various endearments that were welcome. I ate my breakfast slowly, savoring every bit of my grits, eggs, iced coffee and butter drenched biscuit. it was quite filling, and I was unable to finish it all but it was nice contrast to another breakfast restaurant down the street, serving bite sized plates for more money. Yes indeed, I do enjoy enjoy tradition and a hearty meal at a landmark of Lafayette. My family has tradition of eating here, and I shared few meals with my brother, who was a regular; he recently died and was the purpose of my visit to Lafayette. I thought of our times there, and thought of how fitting it was to enjoy one more good meal at Dwyer's. I look forward to returning here when I visit my sister later this year. And recommend it to anyone who wants good meal for fair price.

Jesse recommended the boudin grilled cheese sandwich and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! I'm still craving it days later. I'd drive back just for this sandwich.

Fun old style diner, with cafeteria style plate lunches and also a full menu to order from ! Service was quick and attentive. Right in the middle of Downtown Lafayette. I got the fried chicken plate lunch, chicken was hot and fresh and the potato salad was delicious! My friend ordered off the menu. I’ve heard their breakfast is really good, I want to go back to try that !

This place was great! We brought my mom there after going to the temple. Delicious food and fast service! Great comfort foods and enough variety for there to be something for everything. They also have delicious Cajun classics! Don’t miss this place!

This is a cool Southern breakfast spot. Reminded me of a New Orleans hole in the wall. The only mistake I made, was thinking I could find healthy food at biscuit joint! Very tasty food, but not much good for you...just good for the soul! I really wish the café had real cups & silverware. I especially don't like drinking hot coffee in styrofoam. I really loved the price!

We stopped here while on vacation and couldn't wait to come back. Their blueberry biscuits are amazing! Everything we had was delicious. Large portions for cheap prices. The only negative was finding out they are closed on the weekends.

This Lafayette staple wasn't known to me and I have become a regular honey butter biscuit in terms of the love one reciprocally feels from the crew and the food. In this respect I personally want to thank Edie's for the atmosphere the food and the embrace I have been given samples of the catfish bites and the sauce and it's top notch. I am interested in trying the chicken nuggets next and they always have amazing fresh fruit cups for sale on the counter. I suppose the only downside of Edie's is that they are not open on weekends but it is a place that outshines other restaurants in the area because of the love they have for you like a biscuit. Edie's is a great place and I am honored to say that about the restaurant.

I’ve lived here for 6 years now and have wanted to try Edie’s since I moved. It was definitely worth the wait. I didn’t realize the seating and line would be like it was. My only complaint was how close ppls butts were to my food. I couldn’t help but to think about someone passing gas while in the line right by my food. I know that’s random- and it didn’t happen- but it was TIGHT in that space. The service was great- she was able to answer all my questions- and was VERY patient even though these was a loooooong line. (I’m not one of those customers that just had a list of questions but it was my first time and I wanted to be sure I would enjoy what I ordered) That being said- the food was probably one of the better breakfasts I’ve had in a while. We had the Edie’s breakfast and from best to worst I would rank our plates 1. Cinnamon biscuit 2. Grits (best breakfast grits I’ve EVER had in a restaurant and I didn’t even add cheese like I normally do) 3. Bacon 4. Blueberry biscuit 5. Catfish 6. Eggs If there was a biscuit competition in the area- I believe they would probably be Top 3!!! It was so soft fluffy and held together so well. It’s was almost perfection in a biscuit!

I was in town for work and this place was within walking distance of my hotel. I ordered the works omelet with smothered potatoes and it also came with a biscuit. It was delicious! The omelet was tender and perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients. The biscuit was so flavorful and fell apart it was so tender. It was a busy place and the staff was fast, efficient and very friendly. With the price of eggs being what they are right now I was surprised at how affordable this place was. I will be returning while I am here!

The absolute best fresh honey hot out of oven softest biscuits!! Other great breakfast items too! Wish they'd be open either on Saturday or Sunday, especially for people like me who no longer reside in Lafayette but now In Houston and can only come during weekends.

Not too bad overall, but I ordered fish, grits, and eggs. I drove all the way to work only to find there was no fish in my order! The whole point of getting the dip was for the fish, so I’m completely frustrated. Then, when I tried to call them, the phone was off the hook. What a catch!

The staff were attentive, engaging, and polite! It definitely is a diner-family environment. The meatloaf & greenbeans were good. The mash potatoes were cold, but they replaced them. The drinks 🍸 are not good: mimosa and screwdriver. Water with lemon is better😅

We were in Lafayette and decided to Google for a nice Soul food restaurant. This place Hub City Diner was listed under Soul food restaurant. When we arrived to the location the place looked liked an old school diner from the 60’s. When we walked in and over to the host station we grabbed a menu to place our order. The place had a few guest but wasn’t overly crowded. The host who was a polite young male, greeted us and asked if we were dunning in and let him know when we were ready to order. The menu had more breakfast options to choose from than dinner options. My mind was set on Red Beans & rice, so I ordered Red Beans and rice, and fried Catfish. The host asked if I wanted a cup of red beans & rice or a plate of red beans & rice? I commented a plate of red beans & rice because I’m so hungry. He explained the Catfish came with a side of pilaf rice and a veggie on the side. I ordered the pilaf rice and broccoli with the fried Catfish as well. My husband ordered the Salisbury Steak, Mashed potatoes & gravy, and broccoli on the side. Because I’m from New Orleans we eat beignets all the time. For dessert, I ordered beignets and my husband ordered the bread pudding. The service was quick. Within fifteen minutes we received our food, packed and ready to go. We arrived at our hotel and immediately went to our room. After opening the plates, I was a little disappointed in the size portion of the red beans. It was a cup size placed in a to go plate. But the Red Beans had a great taste but I had more rice than Red Beans and threw the extra rice away. The Catfish was steamed and the breading was separated from the fish. The Salisbury Steak, mashed potatoes with the gravy and broccoli had no seasoning and no taste. The bread pudding was a little stiff but it tasted okay without the sauce. We couldn’t tell if the sauce was supposed to have been a Rum sauce but it was definitely broke. They reheated it in the microwave and the butter separated. The Beignets were very tasty because the pastry was soft & flaky. Overall I wouldn’t rate this place as a Soul Food restaurant. Food was to bland and the portion size was not what we’re use too. The price wasn’t bad but the quality of the food wasn’t worth the price. Hub City Diner is overrated. The restaurant needs a makeover. There is no Soul in food if there is no taste. “If you ain’t sneezing then it’s not Seasoned”.

We are visiting here from Georgia and we stopped by for lunch. The atmosphere and service is amazing. Everyone is so nice. I had the blackened catfish on top of the shrimp etouffee and rice. It was phenomenal. The fish was cooked perfectly and had a lot of spice. The beinget we had was cooked to perfection. 10/10

We really enjoyed our breakfast! I had the BELT with grits, wife had the two egg breakfast and son had the ham & cheese omellete. Their biscuits taste somewhat like a pancake with a sweet taste. Overall, the dining experience of this place is very relaxing. Definitely be back to try burgers and onion rings!

We went to Hub City Diner today. We were seated quickly and our server came over quickly. We ordered pancakes and bacon, two kid grilled cheese meals, and my husband ordered hamburger steak. Everything came out quickly and was perfect. The cute car with the curly fries and grilled cheese was awesome. My husband's hamburger steak was phenomenal. My child's pancake was perfect.

Let me just start out by saying I can't express in words how welcoming this place was being so busy that it's not easy to do, and they did a great job. Now let's talk about the food can you just think about your grandmother's cooking okay you've got it every dish is made with love from the Hamburgers, onion rings all the way down to the milkshake. Yes, I would recommend this place a thousand times. The staff was so friendly and helpful & everyone had positive attitudes . If you're ever in the Lafayette area, give Hub City a try. Mark is going to take good care of you. Thanks for the excellent service

We absolutely loved the waiter and waitresses. We were greeted when walking in.Everyone treated us so kind, my mom had a blast talking with everyone and looking at the Elvis decor on display. The menu was easy to read. Everything was made quickly and tasted perfect! We will return to enjoy another diner experience at Hub City Diner !! Thanks everyone who makes the perfect diner environment for us customers !

When you order you get a big portion which is so worth it. I’ve ordered and dine in and the food is just as tasty. The only downfall is one of the servers wasn’t so kind when I told her that the sunny side up eggs were way more raw than I’d like them to be. She wasn’t accepting and said that that’s how sunny side up is. She took forever to ‘make me another one.’ I finished eating, payed, and she never showed up. I would recommend the cinnamons roll fresh toast and they’re black coffee taste fresh.

I've been to this cafe about twice now. And it's absolute experience. Both time took an inch and ran a miles with it. The first time we went there, I had gotten the lobster bri and omelet with a side of country potatoes. I was immediately blown away of how the potatoes were salted. It felt like a perfect amount. Then the omelet was my first experience. And gave me an excellent first time. Like a date with someone you had a crush on and she's actually a 10 in the personality department too. English muffin was... an English muffin. The server was very attentive and wasn't overwhelmingly so. I got 2 cups of coffee unprompted and didn't get those shakes you get cause you wanted that 1 other 6th coffee. Service felt like it was down to a science. This was inside on those high tables and it felt nice. A bit cold, but I feel like thats just how resturants are. Better to be a bit chill than hot. The second time around, it was outside. Great view. Felt warm even though the weather was just calm. And the food my wife and I got was so welcoming. And service was still exceptional. This will be my personality for breakfast and brunch for a hot minute. Would definitely recommend to all who will listen.

Got the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and the Ultimate Brunch Sandwich. Everything was delicious! We sat at the bar and Paige B. was very attentive and amazingly friendly! The food and the people definitely make the place! Will come again❤️

The music was great, food was amazing, our server Martha however was not. She had an attitude from the beginning. We were polite and here for a birthday. She put her hand with a finger up in my friend's face and told her to wait, she grabbed at drinks inappropriately. She had a bad vibe the entire time. Would definitely come again. But didnt like the service at all. Saw one of the hosts be rude to customers as well.

I used to find Another Broken egg as consistently good but this experience was off. The Floridian omelet had the crab and sauce on the outside. I thought it used to be on inside and sauce on top. Grits were good but I was disappointed in the omelet. My spiked caramel iced coffee was way too sweet. I added a cup of hot coffee to it and it was better. At least I called ahead this visit so didn't have much of a wait. That was a plus.

3/31/24- Easter Sunday, during our family gathering weekend, we went here for brunch. We've been here a few times before. Everything was delicious. This time, we had the Biscuit Beignets, they were really good! Our server was good. I'll certainly be back next time I'm in Lafayette.

Nice atmosphere, cute place , great service, and one of the best grilled chicken sandwiches I found so far in Lafayette. We have had better burgers in Lafayette, but the chicken was top tier. I'm going to have to go back with my girls for one of our brunches. I can't believe I have lived in this area my whole life and never ate here. I was missing out.

We dined here late at night on 05/15/2025 after a high school graduation. I love the fact that this restaurant is open 24/7 so you can go in to get a home cooked meal anytime you want or need. The environment was great. The waitress was very attentive and sweet. We were a big group, but the staff accommodated us with no issues. The food was overall good. I enjoyed the meatloaf and my cheesy fries were delicious! 😋

Loved it. I had the Country Fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans. The food was delicious, hot and fresh, customer service was awesome, it was lunch time so they where very busy, but handled it very well. It didn't take long to get our food. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Friendly atmosphere, not always quite. Cute lil dinner, good home cooked meals. Thank you to all the workers who work hard everyday.

I got the Country Boy Special for lunch. You can choose either steak or country fried steak. I love the biscuit! It wasn't hard or crumbly. Super soft and light. Very enjoyable. The food is great for the prices!

So tasty! Food was insanely cheap. I had to tip over 100% so I didn’t feel bad walking out spending less than $10! Pancakes were great - food tastes great , especially the eggs & bacon.

You just can't beat this 50's atmosphere. Food is great home cooking. Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, and Norman Rockwell adorn the walls. I am so glad we found this place while passing through.

Had to stop by Poupart Bakery when traveling through, especially during king cake season! My friend Karen said this is the best and she was right, so good, everything we had! Ty for the beautiful pastries and service.

An outstanding cake 🎂 along with the best customer service !! I asked and they delivered, this cake was a caramel doberge with 80 icing roses, it was for my grandmother’s 80th bday. The cake was delicious 🤤 moist and sweet. We all loved it and I am still thinking about it over a week later!! Seriously if you’re on Google shopping around for cakes (like I did) stop here and order it!!! Oh and we added 80 candles bc why not lol. Thank you Poupart’s. Will definitely be back again

I’m driving through to Alabama and and came across this bakery as I was making some quick errands. I was amazed at their pastries. The almond cookies and almond croissant were perfect; the spinach quiche nice and flaky; the folds outstanding. They also have chicken salad, pimento cheese and some imported cheeses in the fridge. Hopefully i remember to stop on my way back and I can come prepared with a cooler to buy some more. I highly recommend this place. Especially to any travelers that want something better than the continental breakfast at your hotel. 🤣😂 UPDATE: Stopped again on my way back to Texas to buy a lot to take home. I wish they had some croissants but those sell fast. In addition to buying pastries I tried the chicken salad and a frozen tray of spaghetti and a couple of sandwiches (chicken salad and mufalata). The chicken salad croissant and the mufalata were delicious. The tub of chicken salad seemed a bit too salty and had a faint fishy taste kind of like crab/crawfish. I don’t like seafood and can taste that real quick. The spaghetti was real good.

Delicious patries, breads, cookies, cakes! Had pecan and lemon danishes. They were very delicious. Will be back before leaving town!

This sweet treat place was the last stop for our cajun food tour. They offer an abundance of bakery goods from pies to breads. Theres also jams, canned goods like pickled veggies and specialty jams. In the freezer you can find meat pies and pre-made soups. Luckily for me, they also provide gluten-free goodies!

The Wedding Cake We Order was leaning and had a bad after taste, they made to many mistakes even before the cake was bake but because of the reviews everyone is leaving on here i continue to keep my order and took care of the price I don't know anyone yall who are leaving these reviews because they are lies . The best bakery ever. Every time I come back to visit my parents I pick up a few breads to take. Now I got my parents hooked on their fresh breads. I tell them to bring me fresh breads when come seeing me in Houston! I know there's a ton of bakeries there. But I grew up with Poupart from 30 plus years ago and still love it! Thank you! Love the wonderful attentiveness and services given by all the young ladies!

This is the cutest little breakfast place in Scott! Train themed decor everywhere, a little choo choose bell every time and order is up, a lot of food options at really good prices. My husband and I ordered a few things and shared. The pancakes were huge! The beignets were awesome. My only MINOR preference complaint is the grits and eggs didn't have any season on them. This could be great for those watching calories, cholesterol, or sodium though. We added salt and pepper, but I would have liked real butter for the grits instead of vegetable oil spread, that adds no flavor for me. The bacon was the BEST, sausage was good, and we loved the chopped up sausage in the white gravy. The frozen coffee was really good as well!

Cute restaurant in an old train depot. You can hear the trains coming through on the tracks outside while you are eating. We had a long wait for a table on a Saturday morning but once seated the service was excellent. Delicious food and coffee drinks. I had the bacon croissant and my son had the waffles and bacon. Everything was so delicious. We also had the beignets which were served hot and fresh. Definitely would recommend for a delicious breakfast!

I always want to try this place, it’s very cool that was a train house long time ago (never ask about this place history) but outside is a small train wagon with table and asked if we can take our breakfast/brunch there and they say yes we can so was very cool eating there. Food was okay and the beignets were great.

The asthetic is cute and I love how they blow the train whistle when the food is ready, but ultimately it’s all about the food. The breakfast was pretty good, but nothing I couldn’t make myself at home. We both enjoyed our coffees.

If you are in Scott LA or on I 10 going by it STOP! Its amazing adorable and gives u an authentic taste of new orleans. 6 large Beignets and largeChickory coffee for under 12 bucks in an adorable setting of an old rail depot (thus the name). They have a decent size menu as well lots more than beignets. This place made my morning! What a great find along us I10.

Clean. Welcoming. Very Southern [comforting]. Relaxed atmosphere. Staff is gentle and conservative. Tony [the waiter] was quiet a kind. Helped in all ways asked, even to pursue the purchase of an item not normally for sell. Gabby [possible manager], also was assisting towards the item with kind words of ".... No not at this time, we [The Coffee Depot] are currently seeking the same...." The food was absolutely good.. you get what you ask for.. also, portion sizes were fulfilling. Masks were in affect. This place is one to visit when passing through Louisiana for a southern taste of the great Scott, Louisiana. "Practice safety first in all you do"

The service was immaculate! Mrs. Mia service was a 10/10 do request her. Mia explained the menu options to me. She had quick response and recommendations. Very pleasant demoner, very demure, polite and sweet. (READ) Please tip and the counter they are servers for newcomers. The atmosphere is awesome very quaint nd cute place to dine in. Very clean space. The food and desserts are so fresh! The food came out to me really quickly. The prices are really reasonable. If you are looking to feed the kiddos one day after school this is a great healthy alternative. I will definitely be back. **** for parents with Kids on the spectrum****Kid-friendly - Not a lot of overwhelming noise so this is a great spot for a family that may have a kid/kids on the spectrum. Lighting is dimmer which is also accommodating to those needs.

My husband and I went back on August 8th for the start of our honeymoon, they were so sweet! I had never been there before and the woman assisting us walked my husband and I through the menu, very patient! And the food was really good too

La Madeleine is a good choice when you want something slightly different for breakfast. All are the same. Nice atmosphere and good food. This one was a little different than all the others I have been to. The bread is not self-serve. You have to ask for it. Not a bad thing.

If I could say one thing is that the food is good. The staff and cooks have much to be desired. The staff is ok. The cooks/chefs don’t know how to get ur order right. 🫣🙊 Yeah u heard me right. So here’s the story we get up to the register, yes we— I went with some family members of mine. We order. My mother and I ordered. She ordered a turkey sandwich the half with chips. I ordered the turkey sandwich whole no provolone with chips. My father ordered the BLT sandwich. We were not informed where to get fountain drinks or if someone were going to give us our fountain drinks or what. So we find a table and sit and wait…… 20 minutes later. A lady arrives with my mother and i’s drinks. (I got a strawberry hibiscus and my mother got some pineapple drink) my father is still waiting on his fountain drink. The lady finally says ohh there’s glasses u can get and the coke fountains are over there. My dad says ok. As he’s trying to find a clean glass for his fountain drink, my mother and i’s food arrives completely wrong.😑 when I say wrong, I mean not even close! So another ten minutes rolls on by, we finally get our right order. My father didn’t enjoy the aioli spread his BLT had on his sandwich. He said and I quote “something on this sandwich is choking me” as he coughs while eating his sandwich. Not a very pleasant sandwich if u ask me. My mother said hers was fine. I actually quite enjoyed mine. But will I ever bring friends or family here again, that’s a FAT NO! The employees seem quite oblivious to the customers needs or questions. And the chefs can’t even get a simple sandwich order correct. Also just to add an employee was sitting with a man who looked absolutely homeless, I don’t know if that was her father or a relative but she was talking and gossip so loud that everyone could here. I guess she wants people to know her business. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The atmosphere was quite different and customers just seemed annoyed and standoffish. It wasn’t the worst restaurant experience, and it certainly wasn’t the best experience either. In conclusion, I will not be returning to la madeleine’s anytime soon unless they get new management and stop hiring incompetent staff.

Good service and good food. Went here to meet some friends over coffee and cakes after a long time. They have ample seating arrangements and they are following all Covid precautions. Their menu is elaborate and there is a lot to try. We got their double hot and cold mocha, hot chocolate, chocolate croissant and chocolate tarts. The coffee was good and so were the desserts. The hot chocolate comes with whipped Cream and that makes it taste good but it's a lot of sweetness, at times. The mocha was nice and frothy. The servers are friendly and they make sure they answer all your queries. We had a great time.

First time La Crêperie Bistro guest, and I have to say I love it! The staff was very warm and welcoming! The staff member that checked me out was very knowledgeable about the additives that came with the crêpes which was amazing! Had I not been exhausted, I most definitely would’ve eaten there at the establishment but alas I had my crêpes to go. I ordered a variety of savory and sweet! I have a gluten allergy so I ordered them all gluten free which didn’t take very long to have done, considering. I ordered the veggie, chicken florentine, avocado and shrimp, crème brûlée, and strawberry cheesecake crêpes! My favorite of all that really stood out was the chicken florentine then the next best was the strawberry cheesecake! Also the shrimp and avocado was pretty tasty as well! I was over encumbered on my way out so a very kind gentleman that oversees the staff helped me carry my items out but also refreshed my water! I will most definitely be back! What a pleasant experience! Merci bien! Je reviendrai bientôt!

Great food and awesome service! We tried the Chipotle Chicken Crepe and Western Flair Omelet with Chicken — both were delicious, and they even let us customize our order. The Pirotella coffee was really good too. Highly recommend this place for a cozy brunch spot!

Very good and testy place to eat breakfast, I love supporting local restaurants and never disappointed. They even had a few king cake plates like French toast, crepes and coffee.

Everything was a 10/10. It was our first time trying this place & crepes in general! The service was beyond great and the atmosphere was really nice & looked really cute inside. The food was really good & decently priced considering how big the crepes and portions are. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, it was so good & once again service and atmosphere was perfect.

My boyfriend and I discovered this place back in 2022. We loved it then and we love it now! The owners bring the best energy! They’re always so warm, welcoming, and sometimes sarcastic (which I love)! Not only are they great, but their food is CONSISTENTLY tasty! I mean delicious every single time! It’s definitely my fav and I recommend everyone to try. This time around, I got the S’more’s crepe with biscoff. He got the omelet. All plates were basically licked clean :)

We enjoyed ourselves at this local restaurant. It was our first time eating there. Savanna, our server, was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu items. Our food was tasty and well prepared. We plan to visit the next time we're in town.

I think I found a hidden gem in Lafayette. My dear friend wanted to bring me out to celebrate my birthday. We drove from Alexandria la to Lafayette today. We walked in, and a server said we could find an empty seat. We were greeted by our server and ordered drinks and appetizers. My drinks were a coke and an espresso martini. My espresso was made to perfection. Our appetizers were the BBQ BACON WRAPPED SHRIMP..... Bacon wrapped shrimp in a savory NOLA style butter BBQ sauce which was delicious. We also ordered the BRISKET FRIES. Smoked brisket, pepperjack, cheddar, Cajun BBQ, chipotle aioli, and green onion. I swear those cheese fries were the best cheese fries I've ever eaten in my entire natural born life. Wow wow wow. I sat in shock about how good they were. We ordered our entrees I ordered the GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST...... Chargrilled chicken breast,', with grilled veggie medley and roasted fingerling potatoes. It was so delicious. My friend ordered the REDFISH VERMILION. Grilled redfish topped with crawfish etoufee, served with chargrilled asparagus. I tasted some of her dish. It was yummy as well. Our server was nice and kind and treated us well as he maintained the bar. The atmosphere was laid back and it seemed everyone enjoyed being there. It was our first time and we definitely will be back.

I was very disappointed by the service and food at this restaurant. My server was less than enthusiastic. His answers to my questions about the menu were short and unhelpful. I ordered my steak medium well and it was very well done and rather dry. Rather than send it back, I was going to ask for steak sauce but my server disappeared. Never returned to check on me until I was nearly done. I had planned to order a drink but again no server. I felt less than welcomed so I paid my bill and left. I would not recommend this establishment due to poor service and food.

Poor customer service. Will never return. Took an extremely long time for waitress, drinks, and appetizers. Also forgot to come take our order. Other customers came after us and were seated in the same area ate and left prior to getting our food. Waiter was argumentive and manager made excuses. We will never return to this restaurant. Customers even apologized for our terrible experience.

If I could give the service no stars I would. The service was terrible. There was only 4 of us and we ended up being there the whole night because our server was absent for 30 minutes at a time. At one point I had to go to the bar for a drink (the bar was empty) because our server was no where to be found and I had already waited 30 minutes for him to come to the table and never did. We have never had this bad of service here.

This is a very popular place and for good reason. The restaurant was full so it took a little while for the food to arrive. But that's also because they make things from scratch, hence the name! The food was delicious, good quality, very fresh and no "fillers" like french fries unless you ordered them as a side, but there were tons of offerings as sides to choose from. You order at the counter. When you go in, they give you a number and you take it to a table. The place is very colourfully and tastefully decorated which was a lot of fun. The three of us had a Bowl, a scratch burger and the dish called Scratch, with pulled pork. All delicious! You pour your own coffee and water at the sidebar, which was convenient. The lemonade and ice tea were also excellent.

I’m going to start by saying that the ambience instantly steals the show when you walk in. Vibrant colors and beautiful plants made me feel so welcomed and excited to eat. I had breakfast here for the first time and everything was AMAZING! The service was A1, the Lavender Lemonade was super cute & tasty, the food was FRESH like best food I’ve had in Laffy, lastly I also had the Ginger Cookie it was to DIE FOR! So fresh, so moist, baked to perfection. Mid way through eating it was upset that I only purchased 1 lol Run don’t walk to Scratch you WILL NOT be disappointed!

I love everything about this place. This restaurant introduced me to beet ketchup. Like whhhaaaattt??? So freaking good… The interior is amazing. Ben’s murals are so awesome!! it’s just a really cool spot and so refreshing that they have such an inclusive menu. It’s very easy to find vegetarian options here.

Little place with a great concept. Farm to table so the menu changes depending on what is available. It’s a brunch menu with great options. I had the Scratch which was a biscuit piled with sausage , farm egg, Gouda, and blue berry jam. It came with a side and I chose the hash potatoes. Everything was very fresh and plenty of food to satisfy any appetite. I wouldn’t call the biscuit a classic biscuit but it wasn’t to heavy and was large enough to carry the sausage patty. The over easy egg was perfect and the yellow ran like gold when cut into and I loved the blueberry jam. Such a good compliment to the dish. The hash potatoes were a combination of well seasoned, crusty (from being grilled), and steamed. I’ve seen this before in many places but this was the best attempt I’ve seen. I ate them all! I washed all Of this down with their Lavender Hibiscus Lemonade. It was good but was a bit flowery for my taste. Next time, because I will be back, I will try the Lavender Lemonade without the hibiscus. Can’t wait to return and try something else! Update 6/28/25 Today had a fantastic ginger margarita with the Hash it Out with pork patty and bacon. Everything was very good. Not a fan of the stand in line and order then sit routine. Would prefer a waitress. Upscale breakfast should have upscale service, imho. Once you sit the staff is friendly and attentive. Just take my order! lol.

Had a lovely breakfast here on our way out of Lafayette. I absolutely loved the decor and environment, the service was fantastic, and the food was delish! Excited to come back when we visit Lafayette again. Give them a try!

Worst food i have ever had. The cashiers were very friendly but the lady serving food was very rude and seemed like she didn't want to be there food tasted like water my kids wouldn't even eat it

I have coming into this location for quite some time now however I don’t spend a lot of money there, but I do come quite frequently for plate lunches and there’s been many instances where the staff has been very rude eyes just very judgmental and I need I would like an answer and I’m not gonna put everything out here, but I wanna speak to the owner that being said, I’d unfortunately have to give this review as a one and I would really love to have an opportunity to speak to the owner of the company. Whoever owns this company and whoever is watching this I will speak to no one but the owner about this ongoing problem and if it’s continuing, I’m I don’t need to even be around it, that’s how I feel

The deli food for plate lunches is ok if you are in the area and need to get a quick bite to eat for lunch. In my opinion, I liked Early's better and wish they wouldn't have gone out of business but owner's wanted to retire. The staff at Nunu's is ok. I find most of the time they are kinda rude when walk in like majority of them aren't happy to be there and at other times when a manager or owner is around the staff acts differently towards customers than they normally do. Hoping maybe one day the deli and staff will be better

This was our first stop at NuNu's (being RVers we move around) we went to get the famous boudin balls and they were good. We also got some boudin egg rolls which were good also. Very nice people there, wish we were around longer so we could get some meats to cook out. They have groceries and alcohol, check them out.

Everything here is great, except no spicy V8 juice. Staff is top notch.

Old school, down home grocery store like I went to with my mom when I was a kid. They have delicious plate lunches and traditional Cajun goodies. The store is clean and has a good selection. The meat is always super fresh and includes the niche items that you won't find in the chain stores. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Great stop for locals and visitors.

So pumped to stumble across this place, so far in the week or so we have been here we would def agree that Louisiana people are hospitable but kirk and his staff took it to a whole new level! Every one in the place was just too notch good people. Food was awesome! Highly recommend the cracklin chicken!! Also we had never even heard of boudin before but they took care of that! I purchased 1 pound of cracklings got home tasted the cracklings no seasoning on the cracklings yuck!!! Call to talk to the manager ask if he could give me another pound of crackling that was seasoned and he told me no what gives no customer service whatsoever cheapskates if you ask me And you lost a family of customers for life now and I will tell everyone that is heading towards your butcher shop to turn around they’re gonna get ripped off

I used to be a fan of kirk's u need a butcher until July ,19,2025 @ 16:29pm. I went to this establishment and purchased 3.20lb of cowboy stew mix. It was a heavy set lady with dark hair fixed the mix for me and I asked her what is that smell because I could smell a strong odor. She never answered me just looking confused. I did take the cowboy stew and attempt to cook it on Sunday but I was unable to cook the cowboy stew mix because it was spoiled. I did freeze the cowboy stew and I immediately called the store on Monday to let them know. However I did speak with a really nice guy i will call him Mr. M. He said that he would have to speak with the owner and the owner said that i couldn't get a refund nor my money back because their store is closed on Sundays. The sad part about this is that we have a catering company and we have dealt with Kirk's for many years and this is very unfortunate this has happened. So I guess what the owner is saying cook your food the same day you purchased it or go to the store early on Saturday because they don't open on Sundays and Monday will be to late. I don't usually leave reviews but $28.81 plus tax is may not be alot to some people but it it is. All im saying is how can you support your local family owned business and their doing people like this..

Every time I go to Lafayette, I try to stop here to buy stuffed chickens! Prices are reasonable and the chickens are very flavorful better than others I’ve tried.

Come here for tasty meat and wonderful selection of Cajun foods! So many choices from soups, frozen meats, specialty items, wine and specialty alcoholic beverages.

We won't be back to any Cracker Barrel. Yes I know being short staffed things take a little longer. Other tables after us were already being served and we were still waiting for chicken tenders to be finished. After we asked about our food our waitress only came back to drop napkins off. Other staff brought us refills and I had to ask other staff for boxes to go. When we were leaving our waitress and another person were coming back in from the side of the building. Never said thank you for coming or anything. And it doesn't pay for Cracker Barrel to respond about emailing about anything because we waited over an hr at the Baton Rouge location on our 25th anniversary 2 weekends ago only to check how much longer and be told they had no list anymore after we waited over an hr to be called. I emailed as we left and have yet to receive any reply back. We just won't be back to any locations.

The shop at Cracker Barrel is so Beautiful and the atmosphere is so warm. They have everything you can think of even cast iron skillets. If you’re looking for a gift for someone this is the best shop to find a unique gift ! That’s just walking in the front door! I was just door dashing today and thought it deserved a great review!!

Very good experience for our breakfast. Our waitress, Brie, was very engaging and provided great service. In the current service environment where large percentage of wait staff approaches their positions with an attitude of "I'm just hear to do my job!" Brie's attitude was sincere to serve our needs.

We had to ask for the biscuits that normally would come before the meal. The atmosphere was a low, drained, feeling of doom brought on by the recent CEO's Branding Error. Setting that usually takes a while was immediate. Folks in the staff kind and willing to accommodate Custer's needs. They also expressed concern about the seeming doom of the Franchise and the Branding fiasco.

I went after church today with a few people and I was kinda just a tag along. The people were with me were pretty picky. The tea wasn't sweet when it arrived and the people started to complain. ( I'm not a complainer I've worked at a restaurant before ) . The people at my table left a mess and I was helping the server pick up their mess every chance I could because it's no big deal. The hostess was a sweet girl looked like she was very happy go lucky. There was a young man that I brought over to the specials menu by the hostess and I asked him what his favorite was and he recommended the honey butter chicken he was really nice and that was a good recommendation. My server Elizabeth was very kind, she fixed every complaint that the people at my table were making. She brought fresh sweet tea, she even offered cornbread for free with a smile. She brought the food out and cleared the table and I helped her pick up their mess. I was kind of embarrassed at my companies behavior. I gave the server Elizabeth my name ( Robert Presley) because as we left I realized she was so kind and did all of that work and I was a guest on this trip and they didn't tip her. There was also another sweet server she was so polite and pretty, I didn't get her name but she was Latina and vibrant ( what a looker ) I know in the restaurant business it's hard to make everyone happy and I just wanted the staff to know that you all did a great job. Cracker Barrel is a great first job and I think the general population forgets that we're all human and we all start somewhere and I'm happy to see great service. It's hard to please thousands of people with millions of taste buds and palettes. I'm sorry I wasn't prepared to tip I was a guest. I'm also glad at this location it's still the original Cracker barrel and not the one they decided on after a night of binge drinking and taking LSD. 😁

On this day every thing was perfect. We had a great waitress who was quick, attentive and just awesome. The food was great. The service was great. But one complaint overall with our experiences at all Cracker Barrels—when butter is brought out with the biscuits or corn muffins it is always frozen which makes it hard to spread. Most guests would prefer whipped butter or even take the butter packets out of the fridge in the morning so it has time to get to room temperature. Also, the packets are never enough if you have both biscuits or muffins, grits, or even vegetables. Southern people like lots of butter. Thank you for such great food.

Arrived there at 9:00 and they close at 10:00. Traveling from Texas and was looking for a good place to eat. Had reservations at the Drurary hotel next door. The waitress was rushing us out from the time we sat down to order. My wife ordered hamburger steak, it came out as just a hamburger Pattie. We asked the waitress for the brown gravy that is supposed to to be on it and she said it does come with it and asked my wife if she wanted it. I ordered the chicken tenders and hash brown casserole. The casserole was not what they usually serve. Was very dry and crunchy. Upon checking out at the counter the Manager asked us to give a good review of the location because they have had so many bad reviews. I told the Manager if she had proper staff that cared about the customers, she would never have to worry about bad reviews. By the way there was only one other couple in there eating when we arrived and were seated. Would not recommend this location at all. Food was very bland and service, let’s just say I have had better service at Hobby Lobby on Sunday (and they are not open on Sunday). Go a few more exits up and you will be glad you did. Asking the Manager about the revamping of the decor inside, her comment “ there are more serious issues in the world to deal with than this”. Great sarcastic answer to Patrons paying your salary.

Store looked clean and nice.Everything was good until I got my food.. i ordered one lemon filled and three glazed Donuts.. The bag weighed like six or seven pounds ! At first I thought it was good.. . Until I started eating... The lemon field had so much lemon filling in it that I could have filled probably six donuts , and the filling wasn't that good.. i squeezed over half out on a napkin and threw in the trash... The three glazed donuts.I don't think we're even done cooking , they felt heavy and soggy and was still doughy.In the middle... This was my first visit, but I will guarantee also my last. Absolutely a must if you are in Lafayette Louisiana. The best donuts in the world is an understatement. The smell when you walk in is wonderful.

This amazing place. Historically significant of course. A buddy asked me to pick up a King Cake in Lafayette on our recent road trip for a boucherie event with Chef John Folse. We spied this place on our way to Scott, and remembering it was on several lists, we dropped in. I grabbed some King Cakes, notified my buddy back in Houston who responded "that one is based on doughnuts and is actually my least favorite". Well, I didn't know. I'm not a big fan of the King Cake anyway ( baking is one of my hobbies and I've always felt that I could improve on it with a superior brioche recipe). But you know, the place was hopping and we loved checking out the doughnuts. And the King Cakes did find a home with friends (bavarian cream and strawberry)/ So keep in mind about the doughnut based bread portion if you're shopping for one.

Best donuts hands down. Friendliness staff, pricing reasonable. This location has the magic touch compared to the other locations. Whatever their magic is just keep on doing it.

Love the retro feel, the lady at the counter was so sweet! We will be coming again! Everything here is delicious and the service is great! 😊 she gave us our two donuts (second purchase) for free when we went back to get two more. So sweet!

By far the BEST and warmest donuts you’ll ever have. They also sell delicious king cakes for Mardi Gras celebrations, and other tasty treats like kolache. It’s always a pleasure to visit each year. Can’t wait to come back!

I'm originally from the Lafayette area but currently live in Texas. I love donuts and have had them from all over the country. I have yet to find donuts as good as Meche's. I had to pickup a dozen to bring back to Houston. They are amazing.

I recently visited the IHOP location on Ambassader Caffery for breakfast. My server, Bubbles, provided excellent attentive service. She was very friendly and checked on me regularly to see if I needed anything. I was impressed that I did not have to wait long at all to receive my food after ordering. The cook prepared my order of scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and a Belgian waffle to perfection. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and not overcooked. The bacon was crispy yet not too greasy. The hash browns were cooked through but not mushy. And the Belgian waffle was lightly browned on the outside while remaining soft and moist on the inside. In addition to the quality of the food, I was pleased with the cleanliness of the restaurant. My table and surrounding area was wiped down and everything looked neat and tidy. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience at IHOP. The prompt service from Bubbles and well-prepared food made for a really enjoyable breakfast. I would definitely return and recommend this location to family and friends.

Awful experience and I don't even want to come back... how can you mess up breakfast and fried foods under cooked eggs and our waitress was rude after we waited over an hour asked if we could get some of our food recooked which she said she no she couldn't get it done only our meats were edible I'll never come back to ambassador location my check was more like 100.dollars never again I am pissed off and I don't know who's in charge but just rehire everybody on the night shift nobody was in the restaurant when we pulled up so why we had such horrible see I don't know... sorry I waste my money and my time

The service is terrible, the food is cold, the place is dirty. I ordered a crepe with strawberries and they charged me the full amount and then informed me that they didn't have any strawberries. The employee had a very bad attitude at all times. I won't go back nor recommend it.

To be honest I liked this place. It has bad reviews but I dine in twice and I really enjoyed it. The service lady was kind and did her job well. The food was good too.

It took a while for the food to come and then when it did the toast was very cold. The butter was kind of hard. You can't hardly spread the butter on the toast the omelette was good. The hash browns is good but the waitress that I havd she never once checked on me to see if I needed anything else except close to the end when I was almost done and she did one time. I won't ever go back to this IHOP here

Place was short staff. 1 waiter who could do all she could to services 7 tables full of people but couldn't keep up. Took 1 hour to get drink order I which we never got drinks, then she went to a table that came in after us food order so I told her to get ours. Then 1 hour later we got food. But at that time we took 2 bites and asked for ticket. Then took 30 more minutes to get ticket and 25 minutes to pay. Never going here again.

This was by far one of the worst IHOP experiences I’ve had. The service was painfully slow, and the staff seemed clueless about how to make basic items on their own menu. I was told they were out of gravy, then they “found” a tiny bit — barely enough for half a biscuit. The omelet was awful: instead of making the proper sauce with the Serrano peppers, they just chopped two into the eggs and tossed a raw one on the side. The bacon was floppy and undercooked, and none of the food had any real flavor. To top it off, the staff spent more time standing around and chatting than helping customers. Absolutely not worth the visit.

Quick turn off the highway, has parking and a drive-thru. The fries are similar to McDonald’s and better than In-n-Out’s, but that’s about it. The burger was haphazardly slapped together and didn’t have that freshly made taste like In-n-Out’s does, the cashier mumbled, seemed supremely disinterested in her job (think the Gen Z stare), didn’t offer us any options although the website had a bunch like toasted buns and grilled onions, and charged my friend for a meal when she ordered a la carte, the floors felt slippery (likely from all the grease buildup), and the bathroom sink had hair in it. At least some of the employees were nice and friendly. Might give Whataburger another chance at another branch someday since it seems your experience may be highly dependent on location.

One of the best fast food place in town. Staff is extremely friendly and go above and beyond!! I often get the potato taquitos for breakfast and it’s always hot and fresh

My husband and I go to this location for breakfast at least twice a week, and have been for a couple of years. Service is slow at times but in the past the order was right and the food was good. Well in the past couple of weeks (new girl working) the wait time is ridiculous and the orders are incorrect. This morning for example, we ordered a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit with a medium Dr Pepper, which is what we usually order. Today right off they hand us a Dr Pepper that was lukewarm and tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. So my husband asks them if they can please replace it because it tastes watered down. So they take the Dr Pepper to who knows where to supposedly pour me a new one. So they hand him the food and the Dr Pepper and we drive off. On the way home I sipped the Dr Pepper and there was no difference from the first one, there’s no way it was a fresh drink. Then I open my bag and my order is wrong. I’m very disappointed because it used to be the same person there and we had no problems with anything. Now since this new girl is there we have problems. I hope the manager sees this because something needs to be done.

I would like to thank the woman that served me a burger with only onions and mustard on it because I was in the middle of conversation with my safety guy with an inch sized hole in my that just received stiches for...sorry it was important for me to talk to him. 10/3/25 8:15 pm

I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich. Just awful. Adding a ton of cayenne pepper is not my idea of a seasoning. In addition, it had been sitting awhile so it was damp and squishy (2 words that should never be used in food). Also, an abundance of pickles, 7 of them! The chocolate malt had no malted. In addition the cardinal sin of making a chocolate shake or malt is to use choc ice cream. Everyone knows it should be vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup!

Soggy sloppy made sandwiches way to much ketchup and mayo! Only thing hot was the chicken patty and made me wait 10 minutes for that. Fries wasn't even hot at that to say I was pulled up. No sodas available got a lemonade and that taste horrible. And my sandwiches had half a cheese slice. 22 bucks for that is wild

I have been away from whataburger for 8 months. After driving 6 ours I stopped at this location and was ready for some good food. Instead I stood, the only person in line, for 5 minutes. While the workers just walked around at back. They glanced at me a few times but never came by to take my order. Decided to leave but use the restroom on my way out. But nope, out of order. Worst whataburger ever. Went to McDonald's next door. Don't waste your time

I like the choices they have. Different than most places. Good for breakfast, lunch,or when you’re in the mood for something healthy. I usually like their food just this time it didn’t taste as fresh.

I used the app to order ahead of time. I am only two minutes away. By the I got my shoes on and left, my order was ready when I got there. I ate in. Very clean. Very nice. Free wifi is available. I've never needed it before, but I am visiting from out of town and needed to download a coupla shows since I do not have wifi where I am staying. The food was spot on, exactly what and how I ordered. Twas very good. They do have outside tables. I love a good outdoor table, indeed. The store is RIGHT on Johnston St, so a bit noisy outside. I had a nice visit enjoying the cool air inside. Highly recommend. Will be back !!

Nice lunch experience here, expansive menu with lots of options. Delicious sandwiches and great staff! Pastries and coffee as well! There was a chess tournament happening!

Loved the Customer service, the lady at the front check out, was so awesome. We went in around 12pm. Fast service, good food, fresh taste and the soup was hot and yummy. Clean restaurant and a clam relaxing/chilled atmosphere. Definitely will be going back 😁

Went on girls’ day trip and ended up at Panera. It was overall good! Service was amazing! My food ended up being grabbed by another patron and the workers were very quick to remake my food! They were very understanding and made sure I was taken care of.

The attention to detail in the cleanliness and excellent service from one of the workers caught my attention. I felt compelled to ask. His name is Mr. Payton. A very good worker. Delicious sandwiches and coffee

The food was bland. The soups were not to my liking it as the veggie soup was blanch and not seasoned, and the tomato soup tasted like it was just dumped out a can and not even any effort to fix or make it taste like actual soup. The place is clean, and the drinks are amazing, especially the blueberry lavender lemonade (definitely recommend) but overall ok

So normally I have good experiences at Whataburger. I stopped last night on my way home for a burger was very polite easy order give me a #2 with no onions with Dr Pepper. Well I guess they decided to play a prank because my burger not only had onions, but it had so many onions it was disgusting. To say I was angry is an understatement. Find new employees Whataburger.

We went during a rush (07/13/2024 @ 11:15 pm). We waited forever. Which was okay, I’m patient and the line was wrapped around. When we finally made it to the window, a man told us to pull forward and they’d bring our food out. Again, nothing really out of the ordinary. But then they finally came with our food. The lady forgot our drinks, which again wasn’t an huge deal. Except after she came back with them and we thanked her, she didn’t acknowledge us. Not a word or look. Then she very visibly & audibly slammed the door shut. When we saw our food it was clear they were very angry in that kitchen and taking it out on the consumer. I get the frustration and stress of the fast food industry, I have the patience to sit in the line and thank who is serving me no matter the time I wait. But they threw the food to pieces. The paper pockets with our hash browns were upside down and the hash browns had totally fallen apart, as if thrown in the bag. It was very disrespectful, despite the respect I was affording the establishment.

I was there this past Sunday & usually I stick to my regular : patty melt but the lady on the receiver asked if I wanted to try their new item" Pico De Gallo burger"- I said yes because the picture looks real nice. I knew something was off when the guy handing me my bag added ketchup when I hadn't ordered fries. The picture advertised a burger with a sauce you can see dripping , however my Pico De Gallo was dry as hell. Like barely any sauce & the cheese was still hard- it wasn't melted.

This particular location has become a go-to for me over the years, and for good reason. Every time I’ve stopped in, the food has come out hot—not fast in that sketchy, “this has been sitting under a heat lamp” kind of way. I don’t mind waiting an extra few minutes if it means getting a freshly made burger, and this place consistently delivers just that. Whether you put the word “quality” in air quotes or not, it’s clear they take more pride in the product than most late-night chains do. The staff is also worth mentioning—they’re consistently friendly, even when you’re just passing through quickly. There’s something to be said about fast food service that still feels human. This Whataburger location sets the bar in that regard and is a great example of how a well-run team can make a fast food experience feel a little less... fast food.

This place blew me away this morning. I stopped in the shopping center behind this store and was lured in by the delicious smells. I drove through the drive through and was greeted by the nicest voice! She was so sweet and friendly! I made my order and pulled around to be greeted by not one but two of the friendliest ladies I've ever seen! They were seriously so genuinely happy to be working there. They made my morning so much better. After I got my food from these fabulous ladies I continued to be blown away but this time from the food! Everything was hot and delicious! I live about 1.5 hours away from this location but next time im in town this will be a must stop! Keep it up Whataburger on Pinhook!!!!

We walked in wanting kids meals cause they small. After we didn’t see them we decided to get a small burger, then I spotted the kids meal menu. By this time the cashier (short bright lady) was already rolling her eyes and smacking her Lips like she so aggravated. I cancelled my order She def needs to find another profession not dealing with the public. I’ll never stop here again!!

Every time I come here me and my daughter the hamburger are always fresh and hot and the employees are super nice first class service

Poor service from drive-thru, completely incorrect order. 2/3 of order was both wrong items and had extra charges but were not given what we paid for. Called to get correction, answered with an attitude and poor service once again. Never had service this bad from chic-fil-a and clearly can see why this one has lower ROI annually. Employee hung up the phone and audibly was complaining upon hang up. Go to ambassador or johnston because this is not worth your time and the employees are infinitely nicer and more accurate on food.

So disappointed. Waited in line for 30 minutes for an app order. Get the order, it’s missing items. Pull around park and go in, they give the missing items. Get home bite into a chicken tender and it looks like this. No point in calling because they’re so busy they won’t answer. Can’t get a refund in the app since I ordered through the app I have to either go in or call and try to work the situation out. Not worth it. Now I’m out of almost 40 dollars. That’s just crazy.

I like Chick-fil-A for the exceptional service. However, service is changing just like alot of things I guess.I ordered a #4 - 3 count. I heard them call my name so I went up to the counter. I told the young who had been giving the found out. She looked at my order and said they are getting it ready. When clearly it was ready. She walks away. Eventually, the other lady picks up the tray and walks around the restaurant gives one tray out and the comes back and give me my tray. By this time my found is not hot like I like it. I only had a few fries. I think 8. Very disappointed this time.

I will never go back to another chik fil a after my experience at this one off Louisiana Ave. I had to wait 20 mins for one damn milkshake after ordering at the counter. Reminded the staff several times after people who ordered after me started getting their large meals. By the time I got my milkshake it was half melted. Staff rolled their eyes at me the whole time. I always thought chik fil a was supposed to be this stand-out brand with great customer service. They are dead to me now.

Although there are many negative reviews on Google, when I actually came here to make a purchase, the staff were very friendly and the environment was also very clean. Seeing us confirming our order, they even proactively asked if there were any missing items. The shopping experience was great, and I'll visit again if I have the chance.

Not sure what’s going on here! I’ve been going to La Ave chick fil a for years. Like signature member for years on the app! They’ve always been amazing. Top tier. But last month or two I’m confused? Tons of new workers that have no idea what’s going on :( I’m getting wrong orders. I’ve heard and seen arguing and fighting on intercom while in line between staff. This is stuff that kills business! Someone needs to fix it!! Sorry :(

Wondering why aren’t the actual drive thru lanes being used to order at the menu board? They have 5 workers outside trying to take orders but the workers aren’t trained properly and aren’t asking people to pull up as far as they can to not back up traffic. They usually have huge gaps between the vehicles and now causes backups into the main road. If they would go back to the menu board ordering this would solve that issue with the huge gaps between vehicles. And you could have more workers in the kitchen versus being outside to take orders. One more thing….the not being able to see a menu when pulling up to order is not a great sales tactic based on the new menu items offered. Just something to think on. I still love Chick-fil-a, but just curious on these changes.

We were immediately greeted and assisted when we walked in, with warm smiles and positive attitudes. Our server Devante, was excellent, we were seated and cared for immediately, 10/10 service. The atmosphere is full of laughter and great smelling food. All the employees moving fast and keeping busy, it’s nice to see an establishment have such hard working people! The food was presented beautifully, we ordered crepes and they were perfect. The building is old however our table, floor, and seating area was clean and free of debris. 10/10 will be back. Absolutely love the Evangeline IHOP.

This has to be the oldest unkempt IHOP in the chain. The service was friendly but the place looks like a dive. The bathroom was dirty with no toilet paper in the stalls. The tables and chairs are beat up. The hoods don't work so the place was filled with greasy fog. Or the fan blew the smoke into the dining room. Going outside, you could breathe. We took our food to go. The French toast was too thick thus making it dry.

Very unprofessional. Staff server used inappropriate language in front of customers. Complained about his co-workers. Complained about the kitchen staff made excuses for why the tables were dirty. Why the floor was dirty, rushed us through our meal shorted us an entire pancake. Never brought out the gravy that was requested. Rushed us through and gave us our checkout receipt before we were half done. Eating the restrooms are filthy. The floors are sticky. The water did not work in the restrooms and I was unable to wash my hands and that is the same restroom that the employees use with a sign saying employees must wash hands. So obviously the females were not washing their hands. This mail server was crude and using f-bombs in front of customers and families and little kids and the entire restaurant seemed to be segregated for some reason as all of the white customers were sent to one side of the restaurant and everyone else was sent to the other side of the restaurant. The server made multiple comments about his friend's girlfriends and and mind your own business and stay out of this conversation and calling some people in the restaurant, his people it was very uncomfortable. Do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Our recent visit was highly satisfactory. The food was served hot and fresh, complemented by courteous and attentive service. Pricing was reasonable, and the wait time was minimal. We dined after church, and the atmosphere was family-friendly. I would certainly consider visiting again.

we told the server we weren’t ready to order. she came back not even a minute later and stood there asking us personal questions which made us feel rushed. then our mozzarella app came with 4 instead of 6 and she told us it only comes with 4 and refused to do anything about it until we showed her that it comes with 6. she forgot someone’s entree. when we were closing out she stood over us while we filled out the total. this was saturday night in the side room. her name started with an L

This had to be the most uncomfortable and off putting dining experience I have EVER had to date. Food was standard diner fare… no issues here. But the server was constantly saying “people” were after her and she was using aliases. She also stated she was switched at birth and had no birth certificate. Fortunately, we had a PSYCHIATRIST at our table. He immediately diagnosed her as being schizophrenic. All the signs were there. Please pray for her.

IHOP, it's been a long time, I don't remember the experience I encountered my fist time. We had brkfst at the one on North Louisiana in Lafayette. When we walked in, we were greeted, seated and asked what will our drinks be? My friend ordered an OJ and I a coffee, now, I'm particular about where I drink and how much coffee is put in the cup, i get half a cup and that's what i got. I didn't visit the bathroom, so comment there. The waitress was exceptionally pleasant, the food was well prepared and hit the spot. I truly am satisfied with my visit.

Omg the worst place to eat at, How is this an In and Out Burger, And yes I get it, the lady said I don’t know what that is, but I especially told her, just give me a Regular Burger just no buns.. I told I wanted Meat, bacon lettuce tomatoes, And 2 thick grilled pieces of Onions.

My first time at a Waffle House. And it was delightful. I had pecans in my waffle at the recommendation of the gorgeous waitress. And OMG it was good!! Thank you to all at the Waffle House in Lafayette, Louisiana for making my amazing morning.

I love waffle house hashbrowns loaded everything but I ordered hashbrowns with tomatoes, onions, ham, jalapeños, and cheese. I got two little dice tomatoes, maybe three or four little pieces of onion five or six pieces of ham to be exact with three jalapeños for six dollars come on now you gotta do better. Wouldn’t that busy in there either?

The best location in the area. The food is EXCEPTIONAL every single time. The people that work at this location are the happiest, most polite, most courteous, and genuinely care about the experience each person has when they dine here. Dining in or take out, you get the best of everything.

I always go to this establishment and order the same order I always did with my elders of my family... I was overcharged and Mrs. Bree told me that I couldn't eat inside of the restaurant, the food was subpar Im calling my bank to get a refund. Different strokes for different folks... but I will not be belittled an my food will not be unsatisfactory or unsatisfying.... AS if. I PAY MORE FOR A MEMORY OF SLAVERY THAN ONE OF EQUALITY AND ITS LESS THAN WHAT THE SO CALLED IS GETTING PAID ON A SALARY WAGE. THAT IS SEXIST!!! WHY DO I HAVE TO SIT OUTSIDE?

Bri (waitress) and Keith (cook) were working this night when my family and I stopped for dinner as we were on our way home (Texas). Bri was very sweet and attentive, and Keith was fast to cook. Great service and good food!

This was my first time here and food was delicious. Everything came out within 15 min and food was fresh and hot.

Wednesday morning 11-ish. The waitstaff is great. scrambled eggs were more like the cook forgot to scramble until right before plating. Everything else was good. We have eaten here several times before and will continue when we pass through Lafayette.

The vintage diner vibe was very nice! Food and menu had both salty and sweet options, I tried one of their waffles which was very tasty and crispy. My brother tried one of their breakfast sandwiches which was also absolutely delicious. Our server, Nicole was very nice and delightful!

I first ate at this Waffle House on Saturday 4/12/25 around 1pm after dropping my wife off at the airport. I was welcomed, great service great food. I didn’t see anything wrong and didn’t use the bathroom. Then, on Saturday 4/19/25 around 4pm after picking up my wife from the airport we stopped at the same Waffle House. As we were driving into the parking lot the only waitress was sitting behind the building (didn’t actually see her smoking but I assumed she was). As we were walking into the restaurant, I watched to see if she would wash her hands and she did not. As she comes and takes our order I see the cook sharpening his knife. He went straight from sharpening the knife to cutting onions. When sharpening a knife it will leave tiny metal pieces and should have been washed with soap and water but wasn’t. Yes, we did eat even after everything that we observed. When the food was brought to us I went to use the bathroom and OMG, the stink was awful. The toilet, sink and floors were filthy. I thought I was going come down with something the next day but I didn’t (YET). We were almost finished with our meals and the waitress went out the door and headed to the back of the building (maybe to smoke Idk). When she comes back in again, she didn’t wash her hands. She was very nice and the service and food was good but people can get sick from the filth. When I worked for a restaurant many years ago, we were told that if the bathrooms or the dining area are filthy where the customers can view just think what is going on in the back.

I love their bacon patty melt plate. The waffles are average. I haven't found anything else I like yet but the rest of my family loves everything they try! The service is always great! And the atmosphere is decent! My grandpa believes they have the best coffee in the country😂

No matter what, I NEVER get what I ordered. It's only a small detail that's usually left out. Then it's usually ALWAYS a "to go" order but when paying, the option to leave a tip pops up right, on the card reader, I skip it. And I have no issue with leaving a tip, but it also says that to go orders, guest is already being charged gratuity, so nah...and not only for that reason that I don't leave an additional tip, but bc they haven't been very friendly and welcoming and always forget either one or the other, hash browns: smothered (which you don't have to specifically say if bc it comes with it, UNLESS you want an extra slice of cheese) but covered (with onions) and peppered (ofc with jalapenos) they either leave out one or both and this time, they left out the onions. Listening is one of the most crucial skills when dealing with customers, pay attention. Like I said, it's a small detail but it's frustrating when they can't happen to get it correct 😞 and the waitress, one of them there, is not very friendly. I gotta go to a different location, and just stop altogether frequenting this location maybe 🤔

The big girl that works the night shift is bottom of the barrel LOW QUALITY representation of the company. She claimed the “fluffy waffle maker” was broken because she wanted to continue being lazy to play on her phone (per usual), knowing that all the waffle makers are the same. Her body language and unwarranted attitudes so doesn’t flatter her, to say the least.

You can't eat inside, take out window was opened, doors were locked. so we left & hit up shake backs..better food there anyways.

Absolutely phenomenal breakfast. The sausage on the croissant sandwich was out of this world and was a huge piece with two eggs and cheese for less than $5. The coffee is locally roasted and is great. The service is great. The space is clean and has good parking and is fast if you’re in a hurry. Counter serve and drive thru. Locally owned and the owner took my order. I wish there were places like this everywhere I go but that would make it way less special

Made a quick stop here while visiting out of town. Ordered BLTs with the sweet potato fries. Food is delicious! Also got a caramel iced coffee it was wonderful!!!

I got the pork perfection. It was a egg wrapped and pork sausage deep-fried it was absolutely delicious. I don’t know why more places don’t sell them personally and I’ve never thought about doing that I also got the beignets. They were hands-down the best ones I’ve ever ate and me and my friends go to New Orleans often there was a mixup with my coffee. I was supposed to have a large the gentleman run me a small let me go ahead and have that one and then went back and made my large grateful for the 4 Hour Dr. I have to go home. I definitely recommend this place for brunch or breakfast?

Friendly and great service. Food is very fresh and delicious! Make sure to try out their sauces available for dine in. You can also purchase a bottle of your own to take home. Mild Lime was my favorite. We went here to treat our children to beignets on vacation. We liked it so much, we came back the next day before heading home! Highly recommend. Will go back if I am ever in Lafayette again.

We absolutely enjoyed the Black Cafe! The service was phenomenal and the scotch eggs were an amazing surprise! The food, the service, the atmosphere, the EVERYTHING was awesome! We will definitely return to check out the rest of the menu.

Great smoothies and friendly staff good stop on our way back to Texas from Florida

Pretty yummy coffee, I asked for a spicy dirty chai tea with almond milk. It was 8/10 I wanted spicier. But it was pretty yummy. Same for the croissant sandwich. Worth the trip to get something good.

This could actually be a very good WF if a few cahnges were made. First and foremost, our waitress was very nice. Other than waiting to refill our water, we have no complaints about her. As an WF lover, I enjoy visiting different locations. I reside in Dallas, but I was visiting with my husband's family for the week and decided I wanted WF breakfast. 😋 Unfortunately, there was a cook who decided to share with whom I believe the manager all of the issues he had with his colleagues. I cleared my throat and shuffled around a bit, thinking that my disruption would get the attention of either the manager or cook, but it didn't. I decided that after more than 15 minutes of his ranting, I'd had enough.

The Man behind the grill knew how to cook. The breakfast had flavor . All the chain restaurants breakfasts usually have no flavor. But this tastes good. I was surprised . I had the ultimate. 2 eggs hash browns , 2 sausage patties,and a large waffle. 👌

The service was not good at all asked for coffee and water never got the water took forever to get they coffee with no cream or sugar then my waffle came out before the rest of the breakfast took about a good 7 minutes for the rest of our breakfast to come out no apologizes or explanations we visit from California often and this is on our favorite places to eat don't know what happened.

Let me start off by saying the workers were great, that’s not the issue. My issue is that online the all star price says it’s $8 and some change and an extra waffle is $3 but I left paying 18.70 before tip. My extra waffle was plain and i had a regular all star breakfast. I have no idea where that number came from. I could have just went to ihop if I wanted to spend that much on breakfast

Was in this location tonight (6/9/25 @ 11pm) and ordered two Texas Bacon Cheesesteak melts. As I watch the cook make the food, the cheesesteak was already cooked on the grill (for god knows how long) and I watched the cook touch everything from raw meat, eggs, buns, bread and even decided to wipe down counters with out changing her gloves. AND THEN PROCEEDED TO COOK ORDERS!!??!! I watch this mess for 30ish minute before finally paying and then asking the server "How often do the cooks have to change their gloves?" Which she replied "After touching raw meat, etc" and I then proceeded to tell the waitress that she never once changed her gloves one time.. ALL AND ALL BEWARE THE COOK AT NIGHT DOES NOT CHANGE HER GLOVES AND NEEDS TO BE TAUGHT FOOD HANDLEING AND CROSS CONTAMINATION AND HOW ALL OF IT COULD CAUSE SICKNESS OR EVEN DEATH. Fact: There's 48 million cases of foodborne illnesses in the USA a year and about 3,000 result in death.

They are always open and the waitstaff is usually friendly. I've never not had breakfast there. If you are nice, you may get a paper hat. Can't beat that.

The lid of my drink wasn't clean so I assumed some of the substance just kind of spilled. The way the cup was handed to me was enough proof to me that the employee saw the makeup print on the cup when he handed it to me. When I drove off and spent my cup to drink from the straw, I noticed the make up stain. I was headed to work and didn't have time to turn around so I chucked it. I DO NOT WEAR ANY TYPE OF MAKEUP. I was alone so there was no one in my vehicle that might have been wearing makeup. I was totally disgusted at the fact that people are touching their face and making drinks

This is the red cup day. I order Venti Iced Coffee with no ice and they give me a cup like that. I asked them can I get a little bit whole milk but they told me it need to be charged for $1.5, I said that's fine and then I asked for a red cup but the girl who gave me the order so rule. She told me that they out and it just for in person and closed the window immediately. I really disappointed for your customer service and I never come back this store again.

This store used to be great. Drinks are fine but it's not a good Starbucks experience. This was my second visit this week (in town visiting my mother-in-law). No greeting when I got to the register. Person just tied up the large garbage bag in their hand, slung it over their shoulder and asked what i wanted. The three drinks i ordered came quickly and were correct. But this is a very self service location. I know not to ask for a carrier as those are located near the door. So i have to juggle the drinks to the door, put on sleeves, and seat the cups in a carrier. No "Thank You." No "hope to see you again soon." I'm just a transaction. That's not how it used to be. No wonder Jet Coffee, a local place, seems to be so popular - they seem to be more than a transaction business.

This location was absolutely stunning. The staff were extremely friendly courteous and quick. The inside of the building was very clean even the bathrooms as well.

Second time I ordered Mango dragon fruit lemonade refresher the first time they completely forgot to send the drink and today they completely forgot the dragon fruit. What kind a people working over there ? This is unacceptable for Starbucks !!!! I need the corporate number since nobody wanna answer the phone !!!

Just got 3 green tea frappe for my kids and 2 pink drinks,the girl the one that made it was very rude and now my son drink the green tea is tasted like ground coffee,i don’t think they cleaned the mix cup! All the frappe tastes so bad! Just tasted nasty!the strawberry drink taste okay.Starbucks is a chain company and is expensive for the cold drink but really having this kinda employee is a waste! Sorry to says but I paid for all the drinks almost $40 and I gave tips also.

The staff here is amazing….. Very friendly and full of life… The very definition of treating your customers with love and respect. This crew is far better than any other Starbucks I’ve been too. Im Houston and this place is superior to anyone of them in my hometown. Absolutely this staff deserves a raise and some kind of award. Nothing but great customer service and beautiful smiles on the faces of these employees!!!! Owners appreciate this team. You did right by us consumers!!!!

The staff at this place is absolutely AMAZING. They quite literally made my day. Thank you Jas, Sunshine, and Robin for being so kind, considerate and caring. And for giving my dog the biggest pup cup! He loved every bit of it! Just an awesome staff and they should be recognized.

My husband and I went for an afternoon coffee. We ordered our coffee and It took about 10 minutes for them to serve my husband. Another customer was complaining to them about the wait and requested a credit. Instead of continuing to make drinks, they all stopped and started talking and laughing at the customer who wanted the credit. A group of ladies came in about 20 minutes after we had ordered, and they started getting their drinks when I still hadn't received mine. When I stood up and asked, they had no idea what happened and had lost my order. It was made and had no flavor. We were there for roughly 30 minutes for 2 drinks. The current staff there is slow, lazy, entitled, and lacking customer service.

I went into purchase an order #251 on 1/25/25 and I did not receive half of what I ordered I adjusted my kids meal order instead of the apple slices I added two extra fries to each order when I got home I opened it to see that that the two extra fries were not in the kids meals. Also the hot chocolate took for ever for me to receive and was cold when I checked it before leaving but as it took the 15 minutes to get me the cold chocolate drink I was preturbed and went home it wasn't like they were understaffed that day they actually had to much staff and hardly anyone in the drive thru or inside the building it was 1:55pm.

Ordered a Big Mac- got half the sandwich. No one got their drinks either. Had to go ask for them, only for them to be wrong and then they just gave us cups to fill ourselves. The restaurant was clean tho.

Depending on which shift, what manager, and a whole host of variables the food can be absolutely delish or the worst meal you ever wasted your money on. The redeeming quality is that management does respond to customers appropriately and they attempt to resolve in house. However, I will give this locale another chance and will update pics as needed.

Idk why I waited 40 years to go eat at this place. I’ve been wanting to go have a Burger. I don’t know what took me so long but today was the day with my son and I totally enjoyed the food & atmosphere. The staff very friendly, hospitable and fun to joke with. There are two top and four top tables inside. It is a very clean Restaurant with the coolers for drinks and chips Available self serve, and you place your order at the front counter. The owner said his family has owned this establishment since the 1940s! There are places to sit outside. Blue collar and white collar, lunch crowd. They have the normal lunch menu with burgers, fully dressed “loaded” with handmade ground meat patties cooked on a grill, that are thick, hot and tasty. The fresh dressings are raw onions, lettuce, tomato, bacon etc. . They have a daily plate lunch and the staff was busy in the kitchen rolling out plate lunches fast. It smelled wonderful and today was the Hamburger-steak plate lunch that I saw a few people eating and that looked really good. Every day is a different plate lunch available. They have a well oiled routine going on which helps people get in and out fast.

To start….owner (I assume) was very friendly. Great interaction from the minute you walk in. I had to try and burger, but they also had red beans on special today. The burger is a big thick patty. Good flavor! I also enjoyed the RBNR and the portion is nice sized. Will be back!

The burger is mouthwateringly delicious. Today was the first time I tried Gary’s after passing the location for years. You walk in and it feels like going to Grandpa’s. Casual, comfortable and so welcoming! The owner, Troy, and his staff were all the nicest hosts. They even gave us a free homemade chocolate chip cookie as first timers. Definitely go try the burger! Service was very fast! It will be our new fav spot for a quick breakfast or lunch!

Great plate lunches weekly and hamburgers. This is an 80 year old establishment that was originally a neighborhood grocery store turned restaurant. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. If you want to experience a typical Lafayette plate lunch place you should visit for breakfast or lunch

Ordered food on doordash and accidently hit 4 stars wanted to come here and give you all 5 stars. Y'all burgers are the bomb and the chili cheese dog was old school delicious. Love Zapps chips also. Will order again.

My boyfriend took me here for the first time, he got the shrimp stew and I tried one of the loaded burgers. Oh My God it was sooo good. Both finished all our food. The have a wide selection of beverages and chips and even have delicious homemade cookies! Definitely Gonna stop by once a week. They have different plate lunches through the week.

This is literally the worst McDonald’s location in Lafayette. I hate that it’s the only one close to my house. They have actually never once gotten my order right … always forgetting to take the pickles off or forgetting ketchup. Tonight it was both. Usually the food is cold and I have to microwave it. Also, tonight my burger was medium rare which was weird so I did not eat it. My first time at Starbucks was amazing! The workers were really nice. I liked their green apron. The floor was clean. The food was something I've never tasted before in my life. This Starbucks was 3rd on my list for best restaurant in my state. - 8 year old son

OK. The guy who took my order in the drive-thru was nice. I ordered a caramel frappuccino and a blueberry muffin. The caramel Frappuccino taste a little weak on the caramel. But it was still good. The blueberry muffin, on the other hand I think it was from yestoday's bake and popped in the microwave today. I don't know, but the Sugar candy crystals that goes on it, looks really old and it tastes really old too. I give this place a two stars. 💫💫

They accidentally gave us the wrong breakfast food so they took it and threw it in the trash in front of us! With all the hungry people in the world! If I would have known that she would have done that, threw it in the trash in front of us, we would have taken it and even paid for it!! It was still fresh and hot! The person who ordered it left! She didn’t even ask if we wanted it or if we wanted to pay for it . She said it was policy, but I think before they throw something away, they should offer you if you would like to buy it instead of it being throwing the trash. Even if it was the wrong order and we didn’t like it, I would’ve gave it to a homeless person or something.

Ordered an iced matcha latte. It came frozen like a frappe, that’s not what I ordered. It came with whipped cream, I didn’t ask for whipped cream and it has never come with whipped cream before. The cup wasn’t even full and that’s including the whipped cream in it.

Everytime I come here the register worker is so miserable to be there not friendly one bit. Today they were out of mocha, out of cold brew coffee. Not sure what else they can offer after that. Not to mention y’all are located in target where there is mocha and cold brew on the shelves but oh well. No money lost for me

After several attempts with many coupons and promo codes that did not work, I decided to go shopping inside to change up some linen. Walked inside and the door greeter looked at me as if I didn't belong there. She never said a word, although she did not have to, her rude look spoke volumes!! I did however, understood that she apparently did not understand her role as a greeter. Anyways, Target has some great new comforter sets!! Different, contemporary, I would say. Great Spring colors too. I finished my shopping and make it to the counter. Again, I am faced with yet another person who blames me for daring to shop here at Target. The cashier refused to look up and acknowledge me, she just started scanning my items! I decided to entertain myself and grab a cold Tangerine Smartwater out of the cooler. Of Course, all the drinks were lukewarm and the cooler seemed to be off. I proceeded with the purchase, at least it was not boiling hot. "You want the water in the bag, my cashier stated." I was polite and agreed. I mean she didn't ask, she stated. After she slung my bags to the end of her counter she just turned around and focused on staring at her cash register. Did not say "thanks, come again, have a great day, NADA." I was glad to get out of that store, thinking to myself, it must be the Ukrainian War. A word to 🎯... Please have your employees be just a little nicer, thanks.

09/26/2021 *Inside Target* The first Starbucks I've been to where the coffee was screaming hot. Yup that "burn your tongue kinda" hot. Very long line for coffee. And this Starbucks is out of a lot of items. The staff is pleasant though. But if you just want a regular cup of dark roast coffee they do have that!

Single employee working but still decent service time. Additionally, the barista (idk her name) let like four more customers in line even though it was right near closing, which was very kind.

Not many Starbucks locations in the area, but understaffed, which leads to slower service. Lacking basic supplies by evening (e.g., venti cups), which seems to be a frequent problem at the Target locations.

Opens at 5:00 a.m. but can't be bothered to take an order. Some of us are up this early too and need something to eat.

The manager was rude. We ordered 2 Large Dr. peppers and a large fry. The lady read it back as just that. We get to the window to pay, sat there at least 3 minutes before anyone came to the window. He asked what we had so we told him 2 lg Dr. peppers and 1 lg fry. He got an attitude and said “no it’s only 1 Dr. pepper and 1 lg fry”. Very dissatisfied with how he acted.

I ordered the steak biscuit from McDonalds for the first time and it was soo…. good and very filling. I really enjoyed it. The service is always awesome and the food was fantastic.

They need to listen. When say for here don't put it in a bag. Not much guest interaction any more we are now just order numbers

My family of 5 had the pleasure of dining in for the first time and the food was good but service was amazing!! Maya just made the experience great with awesome menu suggestions. We chose a range of things from the beignets and candy back to start, catfish and grits, cinnamon swirl pancakes. The french toast and chicken was our favorite. Everything was delicious!

Let me start by saying our waitress was genuinely kind and attentive—great service on her part! As for our visit to the Ruby Slipper in Lafayette, my sister was excited. She’s a big fan and had an amazing experience at the New Orleans location during a busy holiday weekend, where the food was top-notch. This time, though, was a letdown. It was a typical Sunday—busy, but we were seated promptly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to expectations. My omelette arrived as an egg white omelette, even though I hadn’t requested it—and oddly enough, it tasted like fish, despite having no seafood in it. My sister was hoping for the fried green tomato dish, but they were already out of green tomatoes… at 10 a.m. She chose a different dish that featured “poached eggs,” but one was scrambled and the other was cooked solid. The presentation was sloppy, unappetizing and didn’t help the situation. Overall, the food didn’t justify the price. Honestly, the gluten-free toast was the highlight of the meal.

My daughter requested brunch at Ruby Slipper before heading north for her sophomore year in college. We were greeted at the door by two very nice workers and very quickly seated. Our waiter Alex showed up seconds later to take our order. He is a very good waiter. He was very attentive and maintained very nice conversation with us everytime he came to our table. We had fried green tomatoes which were excellent. Fried chicken sandwich, breakfast biscuit sandwich and three piggy omelet were all excellent. We really loved the Swiss cheese in the omelet. My only critique were the potatoes and fries were simply not crispy enough. They tasted great though. The star of the orders were the eggs blackstone. These cannot be more recommended. I would suggest dressing on the side for the salad, but it was excellent. We will definitely be back and can't thank Alex enough for being our most hospitable guide through our first ruby slipper experience.

Food was really good. I could think of maybe two other brunch SPots that I liked more than this one in lafayette, which is high praise, because I have eaten brunch at almost every place you can eat brunch at in lafayette and surrounding area. So the food was pretty good. I had both the cinnamon pancakes and the biscuit gravy. I split them with someone else. It's just too much sweet pancakes for me. The biscuits and the pancakes were amazing. The gravy wasn't my favorite, but my cousin thoroughly enjoyed them.She said she prefers hers like that. I prefer mine with more breakfast sausage. So that's for sure, more of a preference. I did taste the banana faster toast. It was really good, but I think I preferred the cinnamon pancakes. The service was topped here. We got checked on many times the workers were all very nice. Now, here is the only thing I didn't like Sundays are so packed, and we're used to eating brunch on Sundays and it being packed, But the music was loud, so everyone in there was trying to talk over the music. I felt like I was going to of hoarse by the time I left. One of my friends with us said she's came on a weekday, and it's not as bad. So I don't know if it was just the day they had the music up a bit too much, and it had everyone trying to talk over. If it was just so packed, she said it wasn't that packed when she was there on a week day morning. It gave me a headache. So I don't know if we're gonna do a sunday Girls brunch there again, but I definitely would do a week morning brunch with my husband. Side note we had about eleven of us. And you can only hold tables for 6 on google. So my cousin and i held two tables of six and hopes that we could get them to combine together. And they were able to get us two booth across from each other which wasn't too bad. They told us for future reference In the note area to put that both reservations were together.

I came for my birthday and was seated immediately with the reservation. Mya was our server and she not only made sure we were well taken care of but she came around periodically to check and make sure we continued to enjoy our service. Love the place, definitely going back.

Great Birthday Experience! They were so accommodating for our large group. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and our server, Alex, was amazing. The staff all signed a birthday card for me and even checked in to make sure they spelled my name right! It was a simple gesture but it was so kind and it truly made my day! Been suffering with the flu. Today I finally have an appetite so I Ordered nuggets and paid for extra sauce. I didn’t get the extra sauce or even the sauce I selected. This might seem minor but sometimes it’s the little things. Plus my nuggets were ice cold. Just a complete disaster.

This is the worst experience I have had from this location. I typically choose this location over others, not anymore. I came to get myself a cheeseburger and I ordered it with extra ketchup and extra onions like always. I’ve never had any problems ordering it like this in the past. I don’t know if someone was having a bad day or they thought it was funny, but the amount of onions that was put on my sandwich was literally inedible, wasteful, and disrespectful. The onions were literally covering the inside and outside of the burger and were all over the wrapper because there was so many. I could not even eat this sandwich. I tried to call the store to see if they would be willing to remake it or credit me in some way but they refuse to answer the phone. This was just distasteful and I will not be coming to this location again.

Don’t DoorDash from here. First time, there was no salt on the fries. Second time, look at this large size fry. Does this look like a large fry to you? It’s missing half of it. This is the same as a medium fry. Hopefully it’s better if you dine in but don’t DoorDash from here unless you want to be disappointed. Thanks Ronald for nothing

Food was as expected from McDonald's. The service was fast. Ambience was good enough. The dissapointment was I tried Wrap here which was awful. There is certainly tons of room to improve for their wrap.

I've had some bad experiences at some McDonald's but this experience was awesome. Neishia, I hope I spelled her namecorrectly, I belive she is the GM and her crew took care of me and my 4 boys. Everything was hot and fresh. She as well as her 2 front counter works were soo sweet and polite. The communication between her and the line was on point ans she kept that drive thru moving.

Don't eat here or fast food a lot but the food is always freshly made and the service is always awesome... Breaux Bridge is aces on personal service, even at mcdonald's! Definitely recommended instead of driving to the next town... It's not right on the interstate but it's definitely worth the short and clearly marked drive down to go this location... Potato!¡!

Told us to wait at the first window, so we waited there for four minutes (I checked times so I know) after that we just pulled to the second window because it’s not my responsibility to fix your average time for your second window. shoved card in husbands face, and when I asked for receipt, shoved recipe in his hand. When my husband started to ask about the extra zesty sauce, she cut him off right after he said extra and said rudely, yes. Took a while to get food, and it all tasted old. I put my mozzarella sticks in air fryer to try to salvage them, didn’t help. Everything was cold. Only thing worth it was root beer, which for some reason we had to wait for that too? Not only that, we also missed one zesty sauce, which isn’t a lot but on top of everything else? it’s the cherry on top.

Had a horrible experience at this Burger King location on University. My husband and I went through the drive thru when they opened for breakfast and the employee was extremely rude for no reason. We were the only ones in the drive-thru. We were very pleasant with her, but still that didn't work. She sounded like she went to work angry and took it out on us. We even said yes ma'am in hopes that it would shift her mood and she continued to shout at us like we were little children. “We don’t have tea!! What do you want!! Huh!! What!!” It was so bad that we drove off and went to the location off of Ambassador where the workers were so sweet and friendly. We will not be visiting this location again, they have lost some customers.

I came in for first time on July 1,2025 at 6:50am, the restaurant has some people and nobody in the drive thru so here I thought it was my lucky day. Well it wasn't I was told the drive thru was closed and I had to come inside, I didn't really want to go inside bc I was still in PJs but I did bc I was hungry. After ordering inside someone else came through the drive-thru she then asked the person if she could help them like she asked me they said they wanted to place an order she says to go ahead dim when the lady got to the drive-thru window she was a pretty little black lady, my question is why do you make the white people come inside in their pajamas but allow the black people to go through the drive-thru? I personally think it's bad for business to be hiring a racial employees. Burger King you might want to handle up on this one!

Went through the McDonald's Drive-Thru, which is a two lane system, and they could not take our order properly or forgot we were there(?). We had two mobile orders which contained three burgers and fries and the wrong burgers were mixed up with the wrong order bags. The window servers were polite and friendly. The burgers and fries were good and hot!

Bathroom is nasty. Also, why even offer table service on the app if they never gonna deliver to your table. Had to go up for my food. Then I had to ask for the drinks I ordered. Then I was also given the wrong size drinks. People at Mcd just don’t care

I’m writing to express my frustration with a recent experience at your drive-thru. On 7-19-2025 at approximately 1:25pm, I spent 35 minutes in the drive-thru line just to place my order. After that, I was asked to wait in a holding spot, where I waited another 15 minutes for a simple order of chicken nuggets and fries. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I went inside, only to find several employees standing around "waiting on fries." To make matters worse, I found out one of the employees waiting was not even on the clock, but was waiting on a personal to-go order — while paying customers were still waiting for theirs. When I finally received my order I only recieved 8 of the 10 chicken nuggets I paid for. This kind of service is disappointing and unprofessional. I hope this feedback helps improve operations and prioritization of paying customers. 0-Star Review for McDonald's I had an extremely disappointing experience at McDonald's today. Not only was my muffin completely burned, but the staff in the kitchen were unprofessional and repeatedly using inappropriate language. It was unacceptable to hear such behavior while waiting for my order. The quality of the food and the lack of professionalism from the crew made this visit one of the worst fast-food experiences I’ve ever had. I hope McDonald's takes this feedback seriously and improves both their food standards and workplace environment.

If i could give this place negative stars, i would. This has to be the most disgusting establishment i’ve ever been to. EVERY single table was absolutely filthy. You wanna brush your hair? don’t worry, there’s a hairbrush on a table. You want an appetizer? don’t fret, there’s doritos for you to snack on!!! your food not salty enough? you don’t even have to think about talking to the rude employees because, you’ve guessed it, there’s some on a table! I will never ever go back to this place, i regret the 40 DOLLARS that i spent here. Oh, and the cherry on top is that when i walked to the counter to ask for napkins, i saw not only flies buzzing around like there wasn’t tables to clean, i see the employee boxing nuggets with his bare hands. Needless to say, i’m still wondering if i’m queasy because of the disgust or maybe food poisoning.

Sat in the drive-through line, about 15 minutes waiting for one Sausage McMuffin. Employees were passing windows, but no one stopped to explain the delay or apologize for the delay. One food was brought, the employee still did not acknowledge the delay, did not smile or have a pleasant look, & did not say thank you.

We recently went into the drive thru to get some itrms and I had a horrible experience. Firstly, the seeet tea was very odd and unusual looking and tasted like straight water. The fries tasted overcooked and not fresh. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and I won’t be back at this particular McDonald’s.

Was pulling up to the drive thru and saw they had some cars waiting by the pick up window. Was notified that they would be right with me. Im not sure how long i was waiting, but it felt like 5 min. Couldnt wait any longer and pulled out. Driving around the side saw the cars were gone. Thought it was kinda odd, why would you let someone wait to order when you helped everybody else ? Seems like the employees didnt feel like taking orders, and making customers wait. Very disappointing to hire people that dont wanna work.

After the lost battle from Golden Buffet across the street, my friends and I crawled to the safe haven of Burger King. Immediately we were praised for our heartfelt battles on the enemy territory. We were gifted (we paid for) a 10$ whopper and were crowed. After consuming this meal, it reminded me of my late mother’s cooking. Satisfied and wearing crowns of glory, we departed for our homelands. Thank you so much Burger King. We owe our lives to you.

Lilylinde "manager" and drive-thru window cashier were discourteous to my 78-year-old veteran husband! Arguing about having an attitude when they charged us for cheese & tomatoes and then failing to make it with those items. We had to return to the store after waiting for our order for an extended time. Southern charm & hospitality was missing from this so-called manager. #thecustomerisalwaysright, treat others as you would want someone to treat you!

The man taking our order was clearly laughing and distracted in a conversation while taking our order, barked our total before we finished placing our order. Guess I'll just try the mozzarella fries another time at another location. I expected to see a young boy at the window but was met by a full grown man acting like an aggravated teenage boy. Got the wrong food. A very apologetic and kind (much younger gentleman) corrected the order. Someone needs to check up on this location's management.

Wonderful staff here. They were super busy and still made us feel welcome! Food was hot and fresh.

Not a bad location. I got a barbecue ribs burger because it was hyped up and it lived up to it. The water is bad in a cup though

Mane I came and tried to get my usual.. 3 hot and spicys only ketchup mayo and cheese add bacon. They forgot the bacon and had the nerve to make it look like they didn’t have an attitude about it. Sadly I will never trust a McDonalds again biting into it my sandwiches thinking that the bacon will be on it. 🤣🤣 stay away from this one go to the one off I-49 in sunset!!! 💯🤌🏾

It feels weird typing this out, but man I'd be embarrassed if my name was on this building. I've come to this place maybe a handful of times, and every time there's been a problem. This time? Waited 30 mins for a cone and Mc flurry. Had to go inside because they bumped the order as made on their end so I couldn't cancel it lol. Toxic house of clowns beware

Food is basic at best. Service is non-existent. Dining area and entrance have become a hangout for the homeless. I bought the homeless guy, acting as the doorman,breakfast. He was slightly thankful.

They should really enforce hairnets at this location. To many girls work there, and none of them wear hairnets. I found not one but THREE hairs in my food. Absolutely disgusting.

Used soda machine and all the drinks were water. Told the cashier but nothing was done about it. At least not before my order was ready.

The usual McDonald's experience I'll be honest, lighting fast service and pretty alright food. Not bad by any means.
