Chardonnay Deli in Constantia is not your typical restaurant; it's a charming farm stall, bakery, and deli all rolled into one. Owned by the successful Charmaine Lilje, this spot is a popular pit-stop in the Constantia Wine Valley. The focus here is on organic, healthy foods and homemade products.
Chardonnay Deli is a true delight! From the moment you arrive, the outside atmosphere sets the tone for a wonderful experience. The friendly staff greet you at the door, making you feel welcome right away. Whether you're in the mood for a coffee and cake, or simply want to browse the beautiful selection of flowers and grocery items, this place has it all. The dining experience is equally charming, with a cozy and inviting ambiance that makes it the ideal spot for any occasion. Chardonnay Deli perfectly combines great food, a warm atmosphere, and a fantastic shopping experience. Highly recommend for a visit that’s sure to brighten your day.

Really fantastic little spot to grab some breakfast if you're in the area. They have tons of options if you're craving something sweet or something savory. Lots of seating available inside and outside. It is slightly pricey, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. Bit of a bummer that they had someone drilling outside this morning... but that's probably bad luck on our side. We were all too full to try any of the amazing cheese cakes they have on sale, but I've heard they are well worth it. Maybe next time 10/10 Recommend

Been here many times… one of the all times favourites :) Always have a great experience especially the Benedict’s eggs…. Also love that hey are dog friendly…

My overall experience at Chardonnay Deli Constantia was fantastic. Having visited late on a Sunday afternoon, my family and I were met with warm greetings by all staff members who took their time explaining what was on offer from their fresh bakery. My family and I only sat down for coffee and cake, and when we informed the waiter it was cold, she had brought a heater to warm us up. Thank you to the team at Chardonnay Deli Constantia. Will definitely be returning!

A Lovely Little Gem This cozy little café is an absolute delight! Everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, from the perfectly crafted coffee to the refreshing cold-pressed juices. And the chocolate croissant? Simply to die for. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a charming little flower stall outside that feels like a slice of heaven. A beautiful spot to grab a treat and soak in some peaceful, feel-good vibe🥰

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had my bridal shower at Chardonnay Deli and WOW - I honestly cannot fault them at all! From start to finish, the team was incredibly kind, helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that the day felt special. The atmosphere, service and willingness to host my event were just amazing. I’m so grateful to have celebrated such an important moment here. Highly, highly recommend! Thank you, Magazi and team 🤩

Incredible cake selection. Wide array of seating indoors and out. Nice strong coffee. Excellent cheesecake. Nice to have sugar free and gluten free options of different cakes too.

Chardonnay Deli in Constantia truly stands out from the rest. While many spots in the area struggle when it gets busy, Chardonnay always handles the rush with grace and efficiency. Despite being constantly full, the staff remain incredibly attentive. You never feel like you’re waiting or overlooked. The food is consistently high quality and absolutely delicious, with impressive attention to detail in both presentation and flavour. A special shoutout to Magazi who always checks in on guests with a warm smile. It really adds a personal touch to the experience. Thank you for the excellent service and consistently high standards. Highly recommended!🤍

Jonkershuis Constantia is a family-owned bistro located at Groot Constantia Wine Estate, offering informal dining with a Cape Malay influence. The historic eatery provides various dining venues, including fireside dining inside, a sunny courtyard, and relaxed lunches on the lawns under ancient oak trees. Families can enjoy the spacious surroundings while kids have their own breakfast menu.
Absolutely amazing food – truly one of the best meals we’ve had in Cape Town. The setting is beautiful, nestled among the vineyards of Groot Constantia, and the atmosphere is both relaxed and welcoming. The highlight? The ostrich. Perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor – it was simply divine. Every dish was thoughtfully presented and delicious, showcasing quality ingredients and skillful preparation. The service was equally impressive: warm, genuine, and full of laughter. The staff added a personal touch, sharing jokes and making us feel completely at home. To top it all off, Jonkershuis offers exceptional value for money. This is a place that delivers world-class food and hospitality without the pretentiousness – just honest excellence in every bite and moment. Highly, highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back.

We walked in just before 5 and told immediately on entering (before even being seated) that the kitchen closes at 5 so we better be quick. Even though closing time is 6pm. Even so we made a quick decision and landed on a cheese board and some samoosas. The waitress was pleasant enough, but eager to cash up. It was nice to sit next to a heater and at a place with an actual indoor fire going as it was cold and miserable on the day we went.
Bethany D — Google review
Pure fulfillment at Jonkershuis Constantia! 🍷 The view over the lush, rolling vineyards of Groot Constantia is simply breathtaking and made the perfect backdrop for lunch. But the stars of the show were the food (absolutely amazing!) and the exceptional service from our wonderful waitress. A must-try is the Lady of Abundance wine—its bold, complex flavour is exactly what my palate needed. Highly, highly recommend! #JonkershuisConstantia #GrootConstantia #CapeTownEats #Winelands #LadyOfAbundance #VineyardViews #CapeTownRestaurants #WineTasting

Great food and amazing atmosphere, with a lovely wine selection. However, the service could be improved—staff felt a bit rushed or inattentive. A bit more professionalism would make the experience perfect.
Oydin A — Google review
Jonkershuis is such a versatile spot — sometimes I come for a relaxed breakfast, other times for a wine tasting, and it’s always a great experience. The setting is beautiful, with plenty of space to enjoy being outdoors, and it has such a welcoming atmosphere. A lovely place to spend time whether you’re starting your day or winding down with a glass of wine
Robyn A — Google review
Excellent food, good wine selection, friendly service, nice views. Given that it's on the Groot Constantia estate you might think that it's a 'tourist factory' but definitely not. Plenty of tables too so I got seated no problem even on a busy Saturday lunchtime.
Jonathan A — Google review
Good fresh eggs and toast with earl gray tea, warming up by the fire place . Can only wish the tea was brewed instead of a tea bag and the coffee served hot! A walk among the vineyards takes u there, under the fresh morning breeze. The museum nearby opens at 10.00 am.

Simons Restaurant is a dining destination located on the picturesque Groot Constantia Wine Estate, offering a blend of Cape cuisine with an international flair. Housed in a historic building, the restaurant provides a stunning vineyard-view terrace where guests can savor their meals while enjoying the scenic beauty of the surroundings. The menu at Simons showcases the freshest local ingredients prepared with creativity and precision, promising a memorable culinary experience.
A Delightful Culinary Experience at Simon’s Restaurant From the moment I walked in, Simon’s restaurant offered an exceptional dining experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was attentive and helpful, and the food was simply outstanding. The steak was perfectly fried, cooked to perfection with a rich, savory flavor that melted in my mouth. The side dishes complemented the meal beautifully, each bursting with taste and carefully prepared. Every bite was a joy! The staff provided impeccable service—always available, friendly, and ensuring that every need was met with professionalism and warmth. It truly made the experience even more special. Simon’s restaurant is a place I’d love to return to. If you’re looking for excellent food, fantastic service, and a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend it!

Set amongst the vineyards of Cape Town's iconic Groot Constantia winery is this fantastic baroque themed restaurant. Scrumptious dishes, prepared from local ingredients and exquisitely presented, are offered with something to suit everyone's taste. Whether you are a carnivore or a vegan their menu has something to delight your tastebuds. All meals come with a suggested wine pairing of both local and international wines. Make sure that you take in the eclectic baroque decor as much as the beauty of the natural surroundings.

Besides having some of the most gorgeous views in the Cape wine region, this little hole-in-the-wall coffee stall had seriously top tier biscuits. I can't say I recommend the chocolate chip one (sorry, it was not very good). However, the oat cookie (or ANZAC style) is the best I have ever had! Get the oat cookie or regret it till you die! Cappuccinos were ok. Service was fabulous and the barista very kindly obliged to adding chocolate powder to my cappuccino (essential, obviously).
Amber D — Google review
We met friends for lunch at Simon’s and loved everything about this place. From the uniquely themed interior, stunning backdrop, extensive menu and friendly staff this restaurant is a must visit. Despite being very busy the service was great! The menu also has a wide variety with the food prepared really well. We visited when the weather was dull and rainy and we enjoyed the cosy fireplace and ambience. An ideal venue for group functions.

This is an absolutely gorgeous restaurant, a sophisticated mix of superb food, art, antique, flowers and more. A must visit! We came for dinner and arrived a bit late—turns out they actually close at 10, not 11 like we thought. But the staff still welcomed us in with a smile. Huge thanks for the amazing hospitality and kindness—it really made our evening special!

Went for dinner and to watch “That Seventies Band” - the food was pretty expensive and not totally fantastic but the band made it all worthwhile - they were really outstanding and it was an awesome night out - very highly recommended if you like 70’s music - we walked away feeling great!

Breakfast at Simons...Stunning views,Delicious food .Hot beverages arrived quickly and the food followed shortly thereafter.Eggs Royale was lovely .Hollandaise sauce was not to rich as it sometimes can be and the Vegan Shashuka was a good portion , something different and quite flavourful. Waiter was very friendly.Weather turned out to be lovely which allowed us to walk around and take in the sun and scenery... one of those days were Cape Town was just showing of.

Tashas Constantia is a charming cafe located in Constantia, Cape Town. Inspired by the founder's childhood memories, this cafe aims to redefine daytime dining with its warm and inviting atmosphere. The interiors are designed to exude charm and encourage social interaction, drawing inspiration from trendy cafes in Paris, New York, and London. Despite being packed at times, the boutique cafe maintains a pleasant ambiance.
We only came for a breakfast and left surprisingly satisfied. Staff is great, food is fresh and excellent portion sizes. The prices are a little bit above average, but you’re receiving excellent value for money.

My favourite go-to lunch restaurant. Impeccable service and a great variety on the menu, from healthy breakfasts, light lunches to fuller meals. The consistency and quality of service and cuisine is impressive. Well done!! P.S. I loved the Mother’s Day spoil of a cute little box of delicious pecan nut shortbread. Thank you ❤️❤️

A quick lunch time drive to Constantia just for a Tasha's smoothie. Very emotional for me. My daughter favorite spot, when getting together with her military friends for a catch up..she's now in NZ. However it is a beautiful setting Pet friendly outside. A big lunch crowd inside. Very sophisticated waitrons. I had to order in a rush a quick smoothie, and oh my gosh you can add collagen for a small extra fee. It was filling and kept me going for the afternoon. Cozy sofas outside. A variety to order from the menu. I will indeed update when I visit again and have more time.

Today, after 5 months from being indoors, I took my wife for breakfast as she's going through a chemo session in her life. At first, I was a bit sceptical about tashas, but when we arrived at the place, we were welcomed like we were part of the regular customers. The service and food was out of this world. The 2 waiters that assisted us, Polite and Zeus were very professional. Thank you to management and staff for the great professional service. We will definitely be back.

Nestled behind a hedge on Belvedere Road in Claremont, Starlings Cafe is a delightful retreat that combines the charm of a Victorian building with the tranquility of an enclosed garden. This inviting spot features high ceilings and wooden floors, creating a warm atmosphere perfect for enjoying breakfast or lunch. The menu boasts an eclectic range of dishes made from carefully sourced ingredients, including unique options like lentil dahl and peri-peri chicken livers with poached eggs, alongside beloved breakfast classics.
Went for brunch on a rainy winters day and found solace in the cosy, lively cafe. Tasty French toast and salmon scrambled egg croissant. Good coffee too! A little hidden from the road yet still quite busy and worth the stop. Outside area would be lovely in the sunshine. Will need to return in summer!

Cute and cosy breakfast and lunch cafe. Inside is modern and peaceful with good light and ambience, and the outdoor garden is a real treat. Tables are nicely spaced apart and each table has their own cosy and tranquil vibe. This place is definitely a local favourite, and for good reason too. They serve great breakfasts up until 12pm, we were there for breakfast and looking around at the other patrons plates, I'd say all the breakfast options are worth a try. They definitely know how to poach perfect eggs. The staff are friendly and they certainly work as a team, service is good, food is great and overall experience was super good 👌

This is my first visit here and “wow” what an impressive surprise to witness such a splendid venue right in the heart of the business and residential area of the Southern Suburbs where everything is normally tight. Here is a love-lii house turned into a beautiful restaurant with seating inside and outside In the backyard, here with the stone tables laid out in the awesome garden with trees that has it’s leaves in autumn colours, red, brown and yellow and lots of scrubs all blooming with beautiful flowers. My impression was that of the gardens one see in fairy-tale story books and somewhere I heard of the musical gardens here. There is lots of street parking and if you’re lucky parking on the premises. The Breakfast-Menu Card has about 12 plus different options and loads of sides and drinks hot or cold. We had Flat-whites and Cappuccino with almond-milk. Our meals were a 1) Breakfast Wrap serve with scrambled eggs, chorizo and tomato salsa, 2) Croissant served with eggs of your choice and bacon and 3) Toasted Sourdough bread with scrambled eggs and bacon. Food presented was very professional-lii and service was on point. NB! They only serve breakfast, brunch and lunch. On the days that they open they are open from 07:00 - 15:00! We high-lii recommend a visit to this restaurant to experience classic cuisine…

This is the definition of a "hidden gem" because there's no way I would have found this spot if I wasn't with someone who already knew about it (and boy, am I glad I now know about it!). There is a little garden out back, which we found empty on a chilly friday afternoon in autumn. This made for an extra peaceful late lunch. The service was quick, the chicken toastie was outstanding, and the milktart to die for. I am really looking forward to visiting for breakfast next time!

Tucked away on the quiet, tree-lined streets of Claremont, Starling Coffee is one of those rare cafés that instantly feels like a local secret you’re lucky to stumble upon. From the moment you step inside, the warm aroma of freshly ground beans and the hum of friendly chatter set the tone for what’s always a calm, inviting experience. The coffee is consistently excellent — smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. Their flat white is easily one of the best in the southern suburbs, with perfectly textured milk and balanced espresso. For something different, their batch brew is beautifully bright and clean, showing off the quality of their beans. The food menu is simple but thoughtfully curated — think fresh pastries, toasted sandwiches, and wholesome breakfast plates that pair perfectly with a morning coffee. Everything tastes fresh and locally sourced. What really makes Starling stand out, though, is the atmosphere. Whether you’re there to work, read, or catch up with friends, it never feels rushed or noisy. The staff are welcoming without being overbearing, and the space — with its leafy courtyard and natural light — strikes just the right balance between cozy and modern. In short, Starling Coffee is the kind of café that gets everything right: great coffee, great people, and a genuine neighborhood charm. A must-visit if you’re in Claremont.

Spirit Cafe, with two branches in Cape Town, offers seasonally driven dishes made from farm-to-table produce. The menu is vegetarian and vegan-friendly, catering to gluten-free, sugar-free, and meat-free diets. They serve healthy breakfast options like chia pots and crustless quiches as well as a changing daily communal buffet for lunch. Known for their creative dishes made with fresh ingredients, the cafe caters to vegans, vegetarians, and those who are gluten-free.
Spirit Cafe This healthy and vibrant cafe is located in the courtyard of Constantia Village. They focus on healthy and ethical food, and they manage to make it all incredibly delicious. After eating a meal here, I can guarantee your body will feel good, and your taste buds will thank you. The atmosphere is very laid back. I’d say half the customers are meeting friends or family, and the other half are working from their laptops. I must say, their WiFi is really good, so it’s a great spot to work from, and there are quite a few plug points too. I really like the design of this café. It feels very organic and authentic, wooden tables, green couches, plants, and little features that add a homely feel. There’s seating inside and outside in the courtyard. Most of the time, their doors and windows are open, so no matter where you sit, you get fresh air. At the front of the cafe, there’s also a shop selling healthy products, treats, and ready made meals. I can highly recommend giving these a go. My business partner and I are still on our beginning of the year health kick, so we decided to visit Spirit Cafe for breakfast. On arrival, the café was incredibly busy. We decided to sit outside as it was a beautiful day. We popped our bags down to secure the last available table and headed inside to look through the menu and order. Tip: Order inside at the counter, they don’t do table service. We got a warm welcome from the gentleman behind the counter. I ordered a flat white (R42) with almond milk (R10). To eat, I ordered the farmhouse breakfast (R130): two free range eggs, avo or halloumi, tahini greens, and toasted seeds, served with your choice of toast. I opted for soft poached eggs, halloumi, and rye bread. Moments later, my coffee arrived, perfect temperature and absolutely delicious. They make their own almond milk, and I was skeptical since homemade nut milk can be a hit or miss, but this one was good. After a little while, the waiter brought our food. The plate was pretty big, so we quickly removed our laptops to make space. The beautifully plated breakfast arrived, and wow, I was so excited to tuck in. The deep green colours from the sautéed spinach were so inviting. The halloumi was golden brown and crispy. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the toast had just the right amount of butter brushed on. But what really excited me was the broccoli drenched in tahini and generously sprinkled with sunflower seeds. And the taste? Even better than it looked. I started with the spinach. Normally, I’m not a fan, it’s usually watery and bland. But this? Probably the best sautéed spinach I’ve ever had, flavourful with a great texture. The salty halloumi complemented it perfectly. The broccoli was soft, and the combination of creamy umami, sweet tahini, and crunchy seeds made it a completely balanced dish. The rye was nutty and buttered just right. It paired so well with the runny yolk of the poached eggs. I had so much fun with this dish, mixing different bites together. Sooner than I hoped, I demolished my meal. My favourite part? The tahini broccoli. But overall? A 10/10. I cannot wait to eat this again, and knowing that it’s incredibly healthy makes me even more excited. They’re open for breakfast and lunch, and I highly recommend both. Their lunch buffet includes a daily changing main warm dish and a variety of salads. So, come for breakfast and stay for lunch! Also, their Super C smoothie is thick and delicious. I highly recommend it. Overall, I love Spirit Cafe. The food is always top notch, and the staff are incredibly warm and friendly. ’Til next time!

I was really looking forward to trying out Spirt Cafe. Let’s start with the good. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and tasty. Cannot fault the quality of the food. However, service is far below average. I went to order the food and there was an issue with the machine. I stood there awkwardly waiting for it to be fixed, before I could place my order. At no point did the server apologise for the wait or the fact that that machine was being repaired. Literal silence while I awkwardly waited, unsure as to what the issue was. I then ordered my food and waited and waited and waited. It took quite a while to arrive, even by Cape Town standards. As much as the wrap was tasty, it was poorly made and ended up tearing and spilling all over my plate before I even took my first bite. It was also substantially smaller than the average wrap (example Kauia or Nu) but quite a bit more expensive. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning

Had an excellent breakie with my wife and twins. We loved the service and quality of food. Those toasts were phenomenal. So was their own honey. The twins loved the direct access to the very cool playground. Thanks Dylan for looking after us and making our stay so special.

Some fantastic dishes. Loved the ravioli with truffle sauce, and the short rib. Unfortunately the service was slow with empty plates still on the table as the new courses arrived.

Upon arrival at this spot we were greated with smiles and friendly service. This place is Pet friendly perfect for your four legged family members aswell. The food was great, the atmosphere good with a decent stocked bar. The menu has a little something for everyone 👌I look forward to my next visit.

The food was delicious, our service from Dylan was exceptional and the table was pretty quiet and private. It's always beautiful in Noordhoek and the play structure is a hit with the kids. It's not the cheapest place... So I'll be back, but not too soon.

Food was amazing and our waitress (Pam?) had the biggest smile and was so accommodating and friendly and made us feel so welcomed even just for breakfast. The Ratatouille with poached eggs delicious and the full breakfast scrumptious with plenty bacon and firm popping pork sausages. Atmosphere is quaint but perhaps getting a little dated but thats personal preference.

Foodbarn was excellent, very impressed with the quality of food as well as the prices. I had the Moroccan chicken panini as well as the oysters to start. Every part of the meal exceeded expectations.

Food is very nice so is the service - thanks a lot, James! :) The kids can play at the playground within sight. Bring some time and enjoy the atmosphere.

We had a great lunch. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. The service is gentle and quite fast. But most of all the food is great. The type of cuisine is near the “fine dining” philosophy, but with a lot of substance. I loved the impala meat and the eggplant. The dishes seemed a picture of contemporary art!

A delightful little café, set up in an old repurposed home just opposite Maynardville Park in Wynberg. The atmosphere is peaceful, quiet and serene and is a really great respite away from the busy world. Great for a quiet coffee date or just having a talk with friends. The pastries, cakes and food were delicious and the coffee wasn't bad at all too. Definately worth a visit and we fully plan to go back again to try more of the sumptuous food. Morning, My husband asked me to share this review as he was truly impressed with our experience. Despite it being an exceptionally busy morning, we called to reserve a table for two and were told the restaurant was fully booked. To our surprise, just ten minutes later, Wesley kindly phoned us back to let us know he had managed to make a plan for us. That thoughtful gesture really stood out and showed a level of service that goes above and beyond. The food was absolutely delicious, and our waiter, Sidney, made us feel so welcome with his warm and attentive service. Thank you for turning what could have been a missed opportunity into such a memorable experience. We are most grateful.

A gem worth visiting — Four Twenty Cafe (Wynberg & Constantia Etsig) Four Twenty Cafe is without question one of the most magnificent restaurants Ive had the pleasure of visiting especially the branch in Wynberg. The atmosphere is truly beautiful and the staff elevate it even further with their warmth attentiveness and genuine hospitality. The food is exquisite the drinks are excellent and every detail feels carefully considered. My experience left me genuinely grateful and I can recommend it with confidence. You simply will not be disappointed. Be sure not to miss the Constantia Etsig location as well. While you enjoy a cup of coffee or a delicious breakfast or lunch you are rewarded with the most breathtaking views. It is an experience in itself. Four Twenty Cafe is one of a kind.

What a lovely surprise this little cafe is! It was recommended to us by our Airbnb. We arrived without a booking on Saturday morning and although the cafe was busy, they accommodated us as two large groups. They could’ve just turned us away but they made a plan even though they had a lot of reserved tables. The food and service was excellent from the extensive menu. 10/10!

Four & Twenty is a neat little café in Wynberg that seems to focus on light meals and breakfast. The vibe is pretty chilled and people give you a respectful distance even if the seating is relatively close together, given the size of the venue. Service was friendly and attentive, but no helicopter waitering. And for this Amanda deserves credit as she showed excellent professionalism. The food is good - it's neatly done though some of the pricing for extras are beyond what one would expect to pay. For example, R28 ($1.49) for a 250ml bottle of water is way beyond reasonable - even with the traditional restaurant markup. There is a neat little garden in the back which is delightful on a summer's day and you can see that someone with an artistic eye was involved in the décor. Someone operating a wheelchair might have difficulty navigating the restaurant. There are neat and clean bathrooms available.

The Gardeners Cottage Restaurant is a charming spot located in the Montebello estate in Newlands. It offers a cozy indoor area for colder days and a picturesque outdoor setting. Visitors can enjoy a delightful cup of coffee, light breakfast, or lunch at this lovely cottage nestled in the Kirstenbosch Garden. The restaurant is accessible via the Silvertree Trail and provides a serene atmosphere to relax and savor some delicious food amidst nature's beauty.
🌳 Nestled in the heart of Montebello Design Centre, The Gardeners Cottage is a charming escape from the city buzz — with its lush garden setting and serene atmosphere, it’s ideal for a tranquil breakfast, brunch, or afternoon tea. 🍽️ Food: The menu leans toward wholesome, fresh ingredients with a good variety of options — from classic eggs benedict and homemade scones to more refined dishes like trout salad or their famous French toast. The portions are generous, and presentation is elegant without being pretentious. I had the spinach and feta omelette — light, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. ☕ Drinks: Their coffee is decent, though not spectacular. A nice range of teas and fresh juices. The carrot and ginger juice is especially refreshing. 🌿 Atmosphere: This is the true highlight. Tables are tucked under trees and umbrellas in a leafy courtyard that feels like a secret garden. You’ll hear birds chirping, and if you’re lucky, you’ll spot the resident cats lounging nearby. It’s peaceful, photogenic, and makes for a great spot to unwind or catch up with friends. Indoor seating is also available but the garden is definitely where the magic is. 👩‍🍳 Service: Warm and polite, though it can be a bit slow during peak hours. Staff are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations. Expect a relaxed pace rather than rushed efficiency. 💰 Price: Fairly priced for the setting and quality — you’re paying for the experience as much as the food, and it’s worth it. 🅿️ Parking: Available on-site and usually sufficient, though it can get tight on weekends. ⸻ 🌟 Would I return? Absolutely. It’s a lovely spot for a quiet breakfast or brunch, especially on sunny days. Ideal for solo visits with a book, or intimate catch-ups with close friends. Don’t rush it — this place is made for lingering. 📸 Don’t forget to snap a few photos — the ivy-covered walls and garden setting make it Instagram-worthy 📷🌸

Love the atmosphere, friendly staff. Nice coffee. The waiter recommends the chicken in folds of puff pastry. The seasonal vegetables were nice and tender. There was a good portion of chicken stacked. I would've like some more sauce on the side. Coz at the end there was not enough sauce and chicken itself didn't have enough flavor on it. The carrot cake was disappointing for me. I went especially for a slice of carrot cake. But it was not moist. My first bite, everything fell on my plate. It was too dry and I couldn't finish the cake. Every time I took a bite, I was scared the cake would just fall off my fork, and I didn't enjoy it. I should've ordered the cheesecake. It looked really delicious. Maybe next time.

This is a charming little gem perfect for a catch-up with friends. It's rustic and relaxing and engulfed by trees with rays of sunshine seeping through the branches and umbrellas. The service is fantastic and the food simply delicious. It's definitely worth a visit.

The Gardener’s Cottage is a charming little gem tucked away in the heart of Newlands. The garden setting is peaceful and beautiful — perfect for a relaxing breakfast or lunch under the trees. It feels like a little escape from the city without having to go far. The food is fresh and well-prepared. Their breakfast options are always a hit (especially the omelettes and croissants), and the lunch menu has a nice variety of light meals and heartier dishes. Portions are generous, and they cater well to dietary needs. Service is friendly, although it can be a bit slow when it’s busy — but the setting makes up for it. It’s a great spot for a quiet catch-up, family outing, or even a casual business coffee. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys good food in a beautiful, laid-back setting. Let me know if you want a version with specific dish recommendations or a more casual tone!

Went for cake and coffee on a very quiet Wednesday around 4:30pm. My two guests enjoyed their slices of cheesecake but I was not too thrilled by the chocolate cake slice, which was not the dense, moist sponge that I was anticipating. I think R82 is a bit steep for a slice of cake but I understand that a franchise has no independent control over their prices. The 4-star review is for how much my guests enjoyed their cake.

Should be 5 stars, suggest they check the cream before giving cappuccino with sour cream. Leonora our waiter was excellent, including the other staff. The food is good and always fresh. Had the chicken pot pie and omelet. Perfect. Thank you.
Naomie S — Google review
Popped in for the famous M&B muffins. Generous portion, not badly priced. They could take a bit more care in the presentation of their hot drinks. The foam art was sloppy and the added touch of a biscuit whilst nice, can be improved by placing it neatly on the saucer and wiping away the crumbs before serving.

Hubby and I ordered a cappuccino, a latte and a muffin. I had a muffin to go. Muffin to go was a bit on the stake side, cappuccino tasted burnt and the latte was pretty much hot milk with very little coffee added. The muffin eaten in the shop had been warmed in the microwave so we could not tell if stale or not. Not impressed and we have decided not to return to this M&B.

Mugg and Bean offers a big selection for breakfast or lunch. There is a great selection of cakes or muffins in case you are looking for a sweet treat. They are well known for their good coffee selection. Today I chose the breakfast that included a corn fritter. I would not recommend it. It tasted processed and contained very little corn.

Gosh, what a disappointment. Ordered on-the-go with extra mushrooms. Tiny portion of mushrooms arrived. Immediately requested a fuller portion. They arrived. All were cold! Bacon was also cold. Toast was so thin. Eggs ok. I periodically go to other Mugg and Beans. They have higher standards. Not sure what has happened here. Waiter handled as best he could. Not sure why management has let this run down.

So I purchased the Rancheros Omelette from MrD, the food itself is delicious until you get to the paper lining the plastic container… I respect that it’s branded and the packaging overall looks great, but the omelette is rather saucy and soaks straight through the paper. You end up taking a delicious bite of eggy goodness with a paper mixed in. Please fix this, my husband told me he ended up eating the paper the last time he had it. I pulled out the paper, but I’m finding bits of it as I eat. The bit on the fork was unfortunately part of a bite I took.

Having served patrons for nearly five years, Lime Tree Cafe prides itself on providing exceptional service and surpassing expectations with its quality food and presentation.
The Lime Tree Benedict on a courgette and ricotta waffle is a winner! I had the salmon, and my husband had it with bacon. Our 13yr old son has been on a mission to find the best Smashed Avo, and after our recent visit he says 'mission accomplished'. Isaac was our awesome server, friendly and efficient. A very pleasant experience, and we are definitely looking forward to our next family breakfast at this gem of a Café. 10/10

I asked on a FB group for some recommendations for a place for a chinwag, coffee and some delicious food for a bunch of giggling ladies - Lime Tree was the most recommended so we booked a table for 15 today and had a wonderful breakfast. Amazing coffee, food and exceptional service. Absolute bonus for plenty of parking 🚗 Highly recommended from me overall and I will be back (next time for lunch, perhaps!)

As a carer I took my client (who uses a walker and her behavior is erratic) for brunch. I didn't eat, but she had a decent meal. The restaurant was busy (it's clearly a popular restaurant!) and as a result the service was a bit slow. My client had words with the manager, but she handled it exceptionally well and my client was content afterwards. Thanks Lesley, and also for your assistance when I realized I'd misplaced my credit card. It was a happy ending after we found it. Definitely recommended .

Once upon a time this was our family's favourite restaurant. The food consistently over-delivered on the menu's promises, and it was hard to choose between established favourites and trying out new dishes. I had the impression that someone who REALLY cared, orchestrated the kitchen. I've been back a few times in recent years, but today's visit finally confirmed that the Lime Tree we loved, is now just a standard eatery. We had brunch. The food was edible and matched the description on the menu. But that was it. I won't make an effort to go back.

Excellent presentation and taste of food we were served. Nice coffee! Waiter less attentive than one would expect. I sadly agree with some of the other reviewers. A friendly approach will push this to a 5 star experience for sure...

Happened by chance on this lovely establishment. We had eggs Benedict with salmon and can honestly say it was the best we have ever had. The hollandaise sauce was absolute perfection not the usual mayonaisy tasting sauce as were the eggs done to perfection not to mention the baby marrow waffle instead of English muffin which was a nice touch.
Beverley C — Google review
This is a really nice place but the waiter are just not friendly. We have been there several times over several months, and for some reason, the staff don't look happy at all. Usually not an issue if it happens here and there, but it has been this way at least 4 out of the last 5 times we were there. This place deserves a 5 star if staff were trained on being kind and friendly.

The Hans & Lloyd Coffee Co in Newlands is a charmingly shabby-chic spot that's perfect for post-surf coffee or pre-commute pick-me-ups. The cafe offers beach views, a cozy fireplace sofa nook, and nostalgic surf prints on exposed-brick walls. Their menu features all-day breakfast options like the Surfer breakfast bun, sizzling shakshuka, green egg white omelette, and waffles with ice cream.
We had breakfast in the courtyard and we were so impressed with the coffee, food and service. My husband said the full house breakfast was the best he’s ever had😆 I had the spinach omelette and it was such a generous portion I couldn’t finish it but it was fresh and delicious. It’s busy inside but we had such a nice quiet spot to chat but enough vibe to make it a cool place to go out for a date. We’ll definitely be back.
Emma-Jane H — Google review
The coffee at Hans and Lloyd (Newlands) is good. Small mugs though and for the price this goes down quickly. Service was good and we were served quite quickly once sitting down. But staff do not seem that enthusiastic, though it was busy and we did receive our orders quite quickly. Atmosphere is always good here, vibey and trendy. And they allow dogs inside, even though we actually sat outside this time. Another member in our group ordered the egg and bacon breakfast and this looked amazing. And I'd definitely go back to explore many of the other items on the menu as it all looked great. Just a warning that the rest of this review is more of a review on their one item, the chocolate croissant. I ordered the chocolate croissant (which was offically called a "Giant" Chocolate Chip Croissant). But there were no chocolate chips inside. It was well shaped though (like a croissant should be). There are two types of chocolate croissants here, a bigger one and a smaller one so be sure to get the bigger one. 🥐 Pastry quality was good and crispy but sadly a bit lacking on the buttery taste you'd find in a good croissant. The taste of chocolate inner filling was quite bland though - however the amount of chocolate inside was good... could have been more but I am a chocolate person so I prefer more chocolate than less.

Sorry the pictures are not appealing but the last 2 times have been so inconsistent. My partner & I have come here a handful of times to order takeaway coffees and breakfasts to go. The first time was a breakfast toastie, croissants (Really good) and coffees which were all 10/10. The second time, a breakfast croissant and coffee, paid for egg, bacon and cheese on a croissant and got a croissant with egg and cheese. Didn’t think to double check it when receiving but got home and saw no bacon. Damn. Today, we decided to go try them out and sit in the back courtyard. It was busy. We ordered red cappuccinos, I asked for cinnamon and they said they didn’t have. Basic thing not to have? Then my partner and I both ordered eggs Benedict’s, both eggs were really soft. It could’ve been done for 2 min longer. It was really off putting. When I told our waiter he said “Okay” and walked away. The service is inconsistent.

This coffee is absolutely incredible - honestly, I think it might be the best I've ever had, and I've tried like... so many places. I'm basically a walking coffee tour at this point, always on the hunt for my next fix (not sorry about my caffeine addiction lol). But really though, this is what coffee dreams are made of. Why do I feel like I just went on vacation without leaving the city? Adding this to my mental map of spots I'll be way too excited to tell everyone about. Can't wait to come back here seventeen more times this month!

We had our engagement breakfast on Saturday morning at Four and Twenty Uitsig and it was a fairy tale morning for my fiance and I. Quiet and peaceful with good views. Great waiters. The rose garden nearby is beautiful. The food menu is well curated and a great bunch of interesting options. I do not recommend the iced mocha. The food and drinks are expensive. You have to pay for parking and it is expensive to park.

Beautiful setting on the Constantia Uitsig wine farm. Ample parking. Lots of restaurants on offer here. My mother has a walker and managed easily here. Our parking was validated by the restaurant. I don't understand why the toilet door needs to remain locked. Coffee is great. The food is good but a little on the pricey side for what you get. I suppose the area dictates this. Most of the tables were full. It seemed like the staff were a bit overwhelmed. They are very friendly and courteous but not too responsive. Probably because it was so busy. This was our 2nd visit. So obviously its a nice plekkie. I hear the ice cream shop next door is great.

A close friend of mine asked me to liase with the owner/staff iot to celebrate her mom's 80th bday here. What a pleasure dealing with everyone. So helpful. Value for money. The venue is something else. We were a group of 30 people ranging from 23 to 91 years old. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We met at 10am and stayed till 1h30pm or a bit later. We required a strictly halal spread. I think it's called the breakfast feast. All I know is that we were stuffed. There was ample to eat. Some lovely looking cakes too. We got boxes to take home the left over cakes. I would go back in a heart beat. I would recommend the venue for a small function approximately 30 to 35 guests. The event was a huge success. If the weather was bad, we were going to have the party indoors, that would've been nice and cozy. Luckily for us, the weather was amazing and we sat outside. The photo opportunities are are amazing. The rose garden will take your breath away..

Wildsprout is one of the best vegan restaurants in Cape Town. The coffee is well balanced in taste and acidity, like Rosetta’s and the food is made with a lot of thought. I had the French toast and I must say it was the first French toast I had that wasn’t too sweet, the preserve was likely made in house and the bread was light and fluffy. Perfect! The people are friendly and helpful as well - we came 5 minutes to their kitchen closing yet they still took our order, excellent customer service.

Perhaps some of them aren't 100 % gluten free, just reduced, because they use e.g. gluten free oats, which aren't free from gluten, just under 20 mg/kg. But the endless variety is a must for everyone, who is either in need or just want to eat gluten free. And our staff was attentive and friendly. So it's an absolute suggestion to all healthy orientated or celiac people.

Stunning place! ✨ The effort put into the decor and outside garden is really beautiful and it was the first thing I noticed before I sat down. The variety of vegan treats and the food was so good! Will definitely be back again and thank you for everything today!

I recently had an overnight stay at the Alphen Hotel for the very first time and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. It's money well spent for the impeccable, attentive service my mom and I received during our short visit. It was my mom's birthday, and the hotel staff thoughtfully prepared her a birthday cake and brownies on two separate occasions unbeknown to us, which was a pleasant surprise. We shared a spacious suite with an enormous and two bathrooms containing a shower and a bathtub. It was a little hard getting up and down the staircase, but we had consistent help from the hotel reception staff, porters, and even one of the cleaners who carried our bags downstairs for us when we checked out. They took excellent care of us at the spa as well. My mom and I sauntered back to our hotel room in fluffy bathrobes and slippers, blissed out from our relaxing massages. We enjoyed some time at the heated outdoor pool on our last day as well, which was sublime. I unfortunately got sick during dinner at La Belle on our first night and excused myself early to head back to our hotel room. The housekeeping staff provided me with everything I needed, and multiple staff members checked on me during my stay to make sure I was recovered. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent views, comfortable accommodation and first-class staff :-DDD

Silvermist Hotel offers upmarket suites and cottages on a secluded 120-acre property with a pool and on-site hiking trails. The hotel is located at the Silvermist Estate, providing amazing views and a peaceful atmosphere. Guests can enjoy the world-renowned La Colombe Restaurant for an exquisite dining experience. Visitors appreciate the serene location and exceptional service, making it an ideal escape for relaxation.
You still get places where the fast pace of city living isn't catching up with you. Silvermist hotels is a place like that, it's peaceful and relaxing where you can enjoy the beauty of the area, sit back and just relax, enjoy a glass of wine, proudly organic and certified. You can enjoy the pool and recharge, the service is great and the staff is very helpful and friendly and take the time to enjoy the food at the restaurant it's something special.....

Unfortunately, the Silvermist Hotel did not meet our expectations. We had booked two bungalows, but the day before, I received a message that the bungalows were unavailable due to a technical problem. At reception, I had long "negotiations" over the rooms. I was then allowed to view and choose... All the rooms initially looked "good." Upon closer inspection, they were all quite dated, worn, and in need of renovation. The bathroom facilities were very run-down. The terraces were overgrown with no view. The pool was very small and dirty. At breakfast, there was only one young woman in charge of the guests, and she was completely overwhelmed. Never again and I do not recommend it.
GI G — Google review
Amazing views from the cottages and vibe of the whole area makes your stay so peaceful. We loved the place, the nature and were accommodated so well by Lindsay. Would be great if the cottages had a small but regular kitchen, I would love to be able to make some food there to eat on the terrace and wash dishes without hitting your head on the shelf in that "wardrobe" which hides sink and fridge :)

We stayed at Silvermist hotel for two nights to visit La Colombe and Drumstruck show. Special thanks to Nicole for friendly and professional service from booking up to check-out. It is highly appreciated. Staying at Silvermist is a special experience as if you step back in the past. Old fashion of the building inside and outside is well preserved. The bed was comfortable, good quality linen and towels, nice toiletries, gowns and coffee machine. Electric blankets and wood fireplace were very useful for cold evenings. Swimming pool was clean, so we enjoyed a couple of swims. Breakfast is simple, but tasty and sufficient. The only drawback: for the price charged the rooms need deep cleaning. The carpet was very old, dirty and dusty, mold on the bathroom tiles and dust on side tables at the bed. I would also recommend to provide swimming pool towels rather in the room (there was none at swimming pool upon our arrival, housekeeping was already gone). It would also be handy to have in the room extra small wood in addition to fire starters. It was difficult to light the fire the second time during the late evening.

I had an absolutely amazing experience during my stay here. The view is indescribable. The cottages are spacious with open balconies overlooking greenery, allowing you to completely relax away from the city. Recommended if you want some tranquility.

This is such an amazing place to stay if you are looking for a tranquil escape from the city. It is quiet, and the views are breathtaking. As you wake up you can take a walk and soak up the surrealness before enjoying a breakfast overlooking gorgeous hills & vineyards.
Maxine G — Google review
We stayed there exactly four years ago. At the time, it seemed the place was getting that tired feeling. We stayed there last night, and for sure, it now needs some TLC. They can start by giving the carpets a deep steam clean. The patio and the patio furniture is tacky.

La Belle Constantia, located in the Alphen Boutique Hotel, is a delightful cafe known for its fresh bakes, salads, and hearty lunches. However, it's their delectable cakes and pastries that steal the show - especially the lemon meringue and berry frangipane. When the weather is warm, guests can enjoy the charming outdoor seating area.
Went for an early Sunday afternoon cake break after a nice morning walk by the Constantia greenbelt. The cakes were delicious, and the service was great. Lovely open field just outside the restaurant, overall great place for brunch with friends, or cute date spot.

One of the nice settings in town! Really beautiful court yard. Nice that it’s dog friendly too! Scrambled eggs were a bit heavy on the onion, but everything else was delicious ! Great coffee too, and quick service! Zero complaints!
Ilan B — Google review
One of my favourite places in Cape Town and have visited many times over the years. Generally, the food has been good in the past but my family was very disappointed with the baked items on offer for afternoon tea. We arrived at 14:30 and most of the bakery items were finished. A very poor selection. Quite bizarre considering people usually want tea and cakes on a Sunday afternoon. There was one portion of scones left and we were told that they generally don't make too many scones because of fear of wastage. We were also advised that we should phone ahead of time in future and have cakes/scones set aside. The portions of all the baked items were small. The frangipane tart wasn't the best. Very sweet and very small slice. The scones were crumbly and fell apart and not the best flavour. Quite different to the experience a year ago, where we considered them one of the best when compared to other establishments in the area. The only carrot cake option was vegan and the apple crumble again, was more crumble than apple and very dry. Cream is offered as an optional extra for 'vegan' reasons?? The cheesecake was fair but there was confusion as to the 'flavours'. In all, not the best experience and some of the staff are a little on the rude side. The whole experience felt 'disorganized' and disappointing. I will return because of the love of the setting but definitely will think twice about going to La Belle for 'afternoon tea and cake'. I hope that the standards on the lunch and breakfast options, haven't dropped as well. It would be a real shame.

I had lunch here on my own a couple of months ago and it was really lovely. Staff was so kind and accommodating. The venue is light and airy, I enjoyed the outdoor patio. I got the oysters, they were nice, also got a cocktail. I wasn’t in love with the cocktail, it was weak, but the wine I got later was decent. I ordered the pork belly, it was meant to have a crisp crust, and it didn’t at all, so I had to send it back. The manager came out to ask about it and he apologized, and then I got the salmon. The salmon was delicious. It was a nice lunch.
C D — Google review
Nice cozy atmosphere. Service was slow so tested our patience but we just went with it as we were in good company. Food-> below average and overpriced. Chips were cold and old; Burger itself average. My pesto tagliatelle was too creamy and really had to force myself to finish it; though the desert was enjoyable (pecan nut tart and cheesecake)

What a lovely stop for lunch! We made an unexpected turn when we came round the mountain to Constantia. We decided to share and ordered the salmon fish cakes and chicken kebabs. Everything was super delicious! I wish I had had space for dessert, will just have to come back again for that. We did however enjoy the Affogato instead.

The Nest Deli is a lovely cafe with great views of the Constantia Winelands and delicious breakfast options. The staff are friendly and efficient, contributing much to the excellent rating. The cafe also has a relaxing garden setting.
An absolutely delightful venue, among a choice on site, with gorgeous views, the right amount of shade, good service and relaxed atmosphere. Iced coffee was delicious and then I enjoyed the devilled chicken livers as a treat. The pasta portion was also generous and they happily boxed up leftovers to take home.

We loved Nest Deli. We had a very warm welcome in beautiful surroundings. Great service and yummy breakfast. We were able to chat and catchup with a friend in an amazing atmosphere and take a walk in the beautiful gardens surrounding them. Close by is a fantastic bike track where you can use your own bicycle or rent one to get your exercise fix. Absolutely amazing !

We had lunch here a few ago on a glorious Friday afternoon, one of those perfect winter days. Good is well-presented and tasty, but my quinoa and chickpea salad came minus the chickpeas! I was distracted with all the chatter and only realised halfway through when my friend enquired how my salad was. I was offered a discount of 20% which I didn’t think went far enough, however, the manager was most apologetic and did offer me half portion to take home instead. Beautiful setting, I’ll definitely be back.

Visited The Nest for lunch, offering a wide variety of options for artisnal open bread sandwiches, wraps, salads, and fresh baked goods. All staff were warm and welcoming, including the owner, coming to check in on us. We sat outside and had a beautiful view of the mountains surrounding the Constantia area. Stunning venue for breakfast or lunch with loved ones. There is a beautiful garden on the same premises making the visit a memorable one.

LOVE this spot nestled in Uitsig. We found a nice sunny table on the deck, sheltered from the wind and enjoy personal, first rate service from both our waiter and management. Very cool clientele there too - chilled, relaxed vibe - perfect for Sunday brunch. Our brunch started at 11am and ended at about 3pm because we were enjoying ourselves so much! Ooh - that champagne and orange juice combo is wicked….

The service, the naturally beautiful environment, the lavish, landscaped gardens, the smiles, the food - all this would make ANY Capetonian proud of being a 'local' with all this magical beauty at one's doorstep. The ONLY things I do not like about visiting here is that you have to pay for parking - it's outdoors and secluded. The other is the hefty price tag, but then you are paying for dining and being served at one of the most wonderful settings in the world!
Pete K — Google review
Amazing venue in the most exquisite setting! Menu caters for all. Our best outing as a family! Definitely won't disappoint! Side mention cheese board is a WINNER! Enjoy a walk in the exquisite rose garden after your meal.

Service was sluggish even though the restaurant was two thirds empty (perhaps I should have taken the empty restaurant as a warning?) My first and second options from the menu wasn't available. So I ordered the steak, medium. It arrived seared only, still bleeding. Unfortunately it was also covered in a sticky sweet basting, so I was worried that sending it back would mean it will be returned burnt. Furthermore, my drinks order was wrong (I ordered a nonalcoholic drink and she brought me the alcoholic version). As we were about to leave, the manager arrived and asked me: "Are you good?" Now... what does that even mean?! I try to be a good person, but I'm not happy with the service nor with my food. Does that make me bad? I digress... my dog was very happy with her steak dinner. And my partner enjoyed his beer.

Lovely atmosphere, service was good and staff friendly. The downside was the food and price for what you get. I had the granola - enjoyed it. Two at my table had the Bagle and egg - Bagle was really small, and we all felt more than one egg should have been served with the price you pay. Another at our table had the eggs Benedict. They found it very average. And why on earth do they serve broccoli with it ????!!!! Not a breakfast veggie. We all did enjoy the coffee - a very tasty brew. Would we go back or recommend this restaurant to friends - no in both instance.

The service was good, but the food portions are very small for the high price. I would highly recommend going on a day and time that isn’t busy as you will wait a long time for your food.

The estate notably one of the Constantia greats, it comes at no surprise that they won’t have worthy eatery to delight their visitors. A common misconception is that notable wine estates have expensive fine dining restaurants chasing culinarily achievements, but not all! Here we find a charming cafe style eatery opening onto a courtyard with benches, water feature, and lots of hardwood fixtures, creating a very warm intimate space. The menu is perfectly balanced and so well priced, I would argue it’s prices offer better value that your average chain franchise restaurant. From what I’ve experienced, only the freshest ingredients can be expected, with great coffee too. Stand outs are the fish & chips, salads, and my personal favorite, fresh scones 🤤 Enjoy 😊

Having eaten here many times, we were served at lunch, a very small piece of pan fried fish, broccoli which was overcooked and mash which sad. The plate and the food were cold and having raised it with the waitress, she said she'd tell "them" and nothing further was heard. Very disappointing 😮‍💨 Will have to reconsider eating here in the future.

Hartlief Deli - Constantia is a fantastic eatery that offers high-quality meals at affordable prices. With a vast menu and a wide selection for breakfast, lunch, and tea time treats, it caters to various tastes. Whether you prefer indoor or outdoor seating, this deli has got you covered with its wheelchair accessibility and available parking. While peak times may hinder service efficiency, overall it is an ideal spot for continental food enthusiasts.
It's such a great place to eat at. Food is a bit pricey but well worth it. The deli part of the deli is a lot smaller than the branch in Gardens. However, the restaurant section is a lot bigger at this Constania branch. I highly recommend you try the coffee crema. They sell the same thing in Italy. However, in Italy, they give you a tiny little cup.

We have been coming here for a while now. I always have my Erdinger with steak tartar Brotchen. Today was a busy day and our waiter Edgar was on point most of the time, it was very busy like I said so we got left alone a bit at the end. Friendliness and welcoming attitude made up for it for sure. The pulled pork brotchen special isn't tasty. I have to be honest. The rest of the food we have had here has been absolutely fantastic. I recommend the leberkasse (sorry for my spelling), as it is one of my favourite dishes. Chicken snitchel is to die for. For qaulity meat products (sold at deli) please give this place a visit. It will be worth it!

I didn't like it here. The food in this particular branch was terrible. Bland, tasteless mashed potatoes. Cabbage with some strange aftertaste. The pork was dry, impossible to eat. I do not recommend this place under any circumstances.

Great value and quality products. It’s a deli that also serve deli style meals almost cafeteria style - do not expect to be waited on like in a restaurant. Rude staff on 2 January 2025. Tried to order a sandwich being the spicy chicken and mayo on rye with lettuce ( I have ordered the same item before at this branch) and the lady assisting in the back began to rudely question me. Upon receiving the order the sandwich was so sloppy and soggy. Will not visit this branch ever again

What I Loved: Great Coffee & Smoothies: Their cappuccinos and iced vanilla lattes are popular choices, and the smoothies, like the Mucho Power Smoothie, are refreshing and flavorful. Tasty Food Options: The menu includes a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and toasties. The bacon, mozzarella, and jalapeño toastie is a standout, and the BBQ chicken & bacon wrap is also highly recommended. Friendly Service: Many customers have praised the staff for their warm and attentive service, creating a welcoming environment for all patrons. I’ve been a loyal customer of Vida e Caffè for a few years, but I’m extremely disappointed by a recent experience at one of your branches. The cashier, Patience, and the coffee maker, Raymond, were both rude and unprofessional during my visit. What made the situation worse is that they spoke in a different language in front of me, which felt disrespectful and exclusionary. They also asked for a tip before even providing the service — and when I didn’t tip upfront, their attitude turned noticeably unpleasant. I’ve visited many Vida stores and this has never been part of the experience. This is not the standard I’ve come to expect from Vida. I left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable — and unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
