Fantastic brunch spot with a great menu ! For €11 I got the fresh orange juice , black tea with oat milk , scrambled eggs with bacon & sausage & German rye bread , blueberry syrup pancakes with fruit yoghurt on the side . Very filling & yummy , although watch out for the salt on the eggs (quite salty for my taste) . Overall lovely staff, lovely atmosphere and clean!

We loved the food and their service 👏. original brunch was very good. Best breakfast we've had in years 😋 Staff spoke English and helped with the menu selection too.

Absolutely incredible brunches! There are many words with which I could describe the experience I had here It was last Sunday on Mother's day 😄 A previous call there had made me convinced of taking my mom there and I am quite happy that I did. On the phone I was told they had vegan options. The establishment itself it was rather surprising: all much simple, tidy, clean and nice; the attendance professional, carrying and thoughtful. The pancakes, delicous, the vegan cappuccino, just dreamy; the tost - I wish to know wher they get that bread!!!! - and, finally, everyone had been incredibly nice. Depite the time we waited - there were a lot of people celebrating that day - I did not regret ever being there and neither did my mom. We're most certainly coming back for more.

It's probably gonna become one of my new favourite spots in Braga. The décor is light and soothing (as well as the lounge music) with a comfortable ambience that invites a certain quietude with friends (very different from usual loud places in the city). The staff is superbly nice (5* to the waiter!) and the products are top notch. Definitely coming back!! It's off the city centre in an area you wouldn't normally go to... To walk there is hard if you don't know the city (I had to use Google Maps) but make the effort... it's worth it! 😌

Wow! There is no English menu but the guys are really helpful. The breakfast was outstanding. We had menu number two and I can recommend it without any doubt. 8€ for a whole menu and drinks is really cheap from our point of view. 👍🏻👍🏻

The price of any food here is doubled, and it is puzzling that even few customers will not get fast service. In fact, it is just plain food, unscented coffee and ordinary egg tarts.

We had 2 choices of hot chocolate there, one some cheaper with milk ( 1,2€) and some true hot chocolate, more expensive (like 2€) We ordered that expensive one, than we have been waiting 20 minutes for that and than, instead of that true hot chocolate, we have been given just som coca with milk, something what Kids get in the kindergarden or in school. I gave it back to the waitress with words that i will not pay for it. What a shame

Came here to grab a littlw snack. Little did i know that a bagel with salmon was a whooping 7.50€ even back home in central europe this wouldn't br so pricy. The franscesinawe had was also disgusting im taste. No value for the money.

Very affordable restaurant. Delicious food cooked in place. They offer a daily menu for 6 EUR. The dish attached is called " Arroz de lula".

Not the best. It honestly felt like we were just being completely ignored non stop. When a waiter finally came over, and took our order, he confirmed everything on his little computer. Some time later food came, after we had joked that it was taking a fair while. As the waiter dropped off my salad, he mentioned the toastie was coming shortly….. it never came. I finished the meal, as did my partner, they removed plates… still no toasty. A waiter came to see if we wanted anything else, and we said, just the toastie that we were waiting on…. Another 15 minutes passes… still no toastie. I went in, and they tell me… madam you didn’t order one… so I explain I did and the waiter even confirmed twice. When the original waiter came over, he asked, how was the toastie. Clearly something went wrong in the kitchen. My partner’s sandwich was ok. The salad was wasn’t the best. We won’t be returning.

Awful customer service. We were waiting on the queue to get our order, the waitress literally saw us there and proceeded to take an order from 2 other client that entered after us (mind you, one of people in our group is pregnant). Products with mediocre quality and for a reduced quantity when comparing with their expensive pricing. I recommend other cafes in the city center such as Ciccoria. Save your money and don’t come here.

If you want to eat inside, you have to order with the waiter, so I suggest looking at what you would like to order first, taking a picture of it and then showing it to the waiter at the table, as not all sweets are on the menu.

This was a lovely breakfast place we tried out on our holiday. The food was delicious and we had a good start to the day. Service was fast. Bathrooms were clean as well.

Ordered some food then asked for a recommendation on a drink. Both were amazing, but I got my coffee within 2 minutes, while the french toast came 10-15 mins after, so I had slowly finished my coffee by then. I was about to leave, thinking there had been some confusion on what I ordered, as the staff was just chatting to eachother at the counter (place was empty). I would probably have given 5 stars otherwise. Other than that, a little pricey, but I would surely visit again next time I'm in the city. Staff were very chill & friendly.

I visited Benedito twice and I will be back for sure. The food looks great and it tastes fabulous. I love the avocado toast, with benedicts eggs but all other dishes were very good. The desserts are really appealing to the eyes and they taste accordingly :-) . The service is friendly and efficient. A “must visit” in Guimarães. An excelent value for money!

I came the first time for the avocado toast (Meze toast), I came back for the omelet! The coffee was also incredible. Service is good (amazing really, generally one person taking orders and delivering food, and doing it seamlessly) and very friendly. It can get loud, but it is always the genial noise of friends gathering to share food. Truly a highlight of my visit to Braga.

This seems like an overall great place, especially if you are looking for brunch food (which I wasn’t this time). They have some “non-brunch” things like hot or cold bowls , hamburgers and a “bowl do dia”. They day were there it was a chicken pasta salad. My husband said it was “ok”, but the strawberry lemonade was really good. I had their fresh salmon poke bowl and mint iced tea. I enjoyed both. I do need to call out the iced tea here though. Most places I have tried to order iced tea in Portugal, it is the canned/bottled super sweet Lipton version (which I do NOT like). Here however, the iced tea is real tea- brewed ahead of time, chilled and served over ice. They do not add sweeteners, for which I am eternally grateful for. The meals we saw others order looked appetizing and I would return to try their other options. If I am ever in the area, I will make it a point to go in and order whatever iced tea they have that day. This style of iced tea needs to be normalized in Portugal!🙏🏼

While looking at Instagram photos it was catchy!! Asked for a oat pancake with fruit and topping. (here you can't choose your fruit, that's not a good start, at least they should let you know which ones are available and which ones do you want). Presentation it's good, but could be very good! plus price/quality. But once you go there, you will see how expensive can be to just get a simple pancake. The menu isn't small, and you have a few options but unfortunately, isn't clear about the content. Asking staff they will let you know.

Asked for a Cappuccino because they said it was actually made there and it came from a can of powdered Cappuccino. It tasted like coffee with milk. Very bad. The cookie I ordered was also not very good - too thick and crunchy. The atmosphere is good and the staff was actually nice, apart from lying about the capuccino. There's sufficient parking space and it's wheelchair accessible.

Terrible service! If you aren't up to working in customer service, go do another job. The woman who looked after me today was extremely rude to me! Maybe she doesn't like black people, I don't know. The woman looked at me as if I was trash at 9 am and because their card system doesn't accept international credit cards, she did all kinds of disgusted faces to me. She's was so nasty that I had money on me but I didn't buy it.

The truly vegan food in Braga! If you have food allergies or want a full vegan menus this is the place! Best of all? The food is delicious 🤤 The best toasts I had in Braga and the best vegan toasts I ever had! Crunchy bread, smooth hummus (looks like scrambled egg), everything well balanced. Amazing coffee, real specialty coffee that matches Nórdico.

We each had the brunch menu our first time we went to Soul, and it was definitely the best vegan brunch I've had so far. So much flavour in one meal! And I'd never had that sort of savory cake before either - wish I could have the recipe! It was a good size of meal too, and we definitely weren't hungry for a long time after that! We came back another day for lunch and we had the leek quiche (which was absolutely delicious), and the bowl which had rice, mushrooms, hummus, and roasted vegetables. I only wish my quiche was bigger, so I could enjoy it's flavours for longer! They also had some very nice local bottled beers to choose from (I had the IPA) and really enjoyed it, very refreshing. And just before we left, we bought a couple of the lovely ice lollies they have there. There's a variety of flavours. They were very tasty, juicy and refreshing. Just what we needed before going back into the heat of the sun! The owners/staff were absolutely delightful to us with every interaction, and were very patient of our complete lack of Portuguese, and they were able to explain things to us sufficiently in English. The place is fairly small and quaint, and is nicely decorated, and on both visits we enjoyed the chilled out music that was playing softly in the background. In conclusion, wonderful place, delicious food, lovely staff, and great to see so many cruelty-free options available. What more could you want? 💚

Exceptional! Was a very nice surprise today :) we were looking for a cozy coffee place to escape the rain and found this cute bistro ran by a lovely couple on Google maps. We ended up eating and trying some snacks and were blown away to find that they were not only vegan, but gluten free, too! The coffee was tasty and the vibe was right. We will for sure come back. Wonderful and cozy vegan cafe. We found it while visiting Braga and we only had a couple of cappuccinos but the place and its atmosphere is really cozy. The service was also great and we were welcomed with a smile! Definitely a recommended stop if you are vegan, next time I'll definitely try some food as well since everything looked delicious!

Wow!!! I cried when I walked in, i instantly felt at home. It’s very difficult to find vegan and gluten free at such high quality when traveling and Soul just exceeded my expectations. So, on appearance Cafe Oscar is appealing, clean and nice decor, However, the coffee is extremely weak tasting, almost like hot water with a sprinkle of old coffee granules being reused. The Food… very plain tasting and the steak sandwich so tough that you need a knife to cut it before you can chew it. Very confused as to why this place has such a high score, either tourists just have no taste and leave good comments for anything they try OR the chef has changed. Either way probably best to avoid for now.

We stumbled upon this cafe while visiting Guimaraes and it was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had! The hot chocolate was incredible and the owner treated us like we were guests in his home. Amazing food and ambiance.

I was particularly impressed with the buckwheat crepe with vegetables my boyfriend ordered. My salmon toast was pretty good too, but I would try a buckwheat crepe next time with pleasure. Also, I wouldn’t skip on orange juice if I stopped by here ;) I might even order 2 next time.. If you are looking for a nice breakfast/brunch spot in Braga, this place is worth adding to your list.

We found this cafe by chance while staying in a hotel with our family nearby. We were pleasantly surprised, visited twice and would probably come back again. An ideal place for breakfast. My new favourite brunch spot in Braga! Walking distance from Altice Forum, you can enjoy your brunch with a view of Sameiro in the distance. The location is perfect to enjoy a quiet coffee on the sunny terrace, away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and the service is excellent. The food is delicious. We had brunch there today but the other options on the menu look equally delicious. The owners previously lived in Paris and this is reflected in the decor of the café. It is a unique concept for Braga and we will definitely be visiting again soon.

Needless to say, a must visit place and a local business that everyone must support ;)
