The 50 best breakfast and brunch in Coastal South Carolina

I hate leaving a low review but I really don’t understand the hype for this cafe. I would consider this a very basic diner. The service was great but I just wasn’t that pleased with my meal and it was a bit pricey for just basic diner food.

This place is absolutely FABULOUS!!! I visited for the first time this past weekend on a trip with my mom and sister and we came across some reviews about this place so we decided to try for breakfast before heading to the beach. EXCELLENT SERVICE! FANTASTIC CAFE ENERGY! And most importantly GREAT FOOD! The friendly atmosphere and efficient staff service are just as good as the amazing food—- the biscuits OMG! BANANA RUM pancakes!!! We came back every morning 3 days in a row as we couldn’t get enough of this place to start our day before embarking on our Hilton head activities for the day. Anyone who doesn’t enjoy this place and their food must not be a real person because this place and staff ROCK!!! Thank you Palmetto Bay Sunrise cafe for feeding us very well

Inside dinning or outside. Food was delicious and service was super quick! Everyone pitches in to serve all tables and get you in and out quickly! We had quiche, breakfast burritos, and blueberry stuffed French toast. All were delicious!

We had breakfast here on our first morning of vacation, and it set the tone for our whole trip. The French toast was delicious, and they got my bacon cooked to perfection. I always tell places I want my bacon extra crispy, and no one ever takes me seriously. But Sunrise did! My husband created his own omelette with all the meats, and it was yummy as well. Service was prompt and friendly. I would definitely eat here again on another trip to HHI.

This is a local favorite. We usually visit this restaurant for breakfast a couple of times over a week-long visit to Hilton Head. The food is great, the service is fantastic, and the patio seating makes for a nice atmosphere. It gets busy during peak breakfast times so come early or be prepared to wait a bit, especially during the busy tourist season. The counter is usually open if you're solo. There are a couple of tables for groups but couples will have an easier time being seated. Parking is easy and plentiful. I high recommend you check this place out.

Decent Breakfast, but Nothing Special Stopped by Palmetto Bay Sunrise Café for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and the food was good — solid breakfast options, served quickly and hot. The café itself is small and tends to get very busy, so expect a bit of a wait during peak times. There’s some outdoor seating, but no water views. The main downside is the overall condition of the building and surrounding area — everything feels a bit dirty and run down. It’s not just this café; the whole area and nearby restaurants seem the same way. Overall, an okay place for a quick meal if you’re nearby, but nothing particularly special that would make me go out of my way to come back.

They have an amazing menu. The food was delicious. They have plenty of options for gluten-free customers. Their service was OK. We had the bar tender as a waitress and she was very very busy so it was hard to get her attention so we try the other waitresses, but they would blatantly ignore us. It was very obvious. I’m just saying if you’re gonna be a waitress you need to make an effort to connect with the customers even if they’re not from your table that’s called teamwork. The atmosphere is very nice. The hostess was very nice.

I came here twice for breakfast, and had an excellent experience both times. Both visits, our waitress Aimee was top-notch, very friendly and well spoken. The Smoked Salmon Benedict was AMAZING, and the gluten free options are plentiful! During our second visit, it should not go unnoticed that despite dealing with some difficult customers seated next to us, Aimee was able to remain friendly, professional, and patient, all while still making sure my wife and I had excellent service. We will be back!

Delicious food. I had the Southern style brisket eggs Benedict and husband had the crab eggs Benedict and shared a French toast. All excellent. Waiter Kevin was very nice. Beautiful atmosphere, lovely to sit outside on the patio with our dogs. They had ice water for the dogs too.

Watusi was a favorite of our weekend on Hilton Head! The food was delicious, the selections so amazing it was hard to choose and the staff was friendly and accommodating of a large group for Sunday brunch. Everything was fresh and they had a good selections for those with dietary restrictions. Be sure to ask about prices for sides and add ons - it wasn’t totally clear whether some things were included so the totals were more than expected. But 10/10 recommend. Notable: Strawberry Pancakes, Strawberry Chocolate Smoothie, Avocado Toast and Eggs Benedict.

Service started off slow but was still good, she accommodated for our baby and catered to her which we really appreciate. Coffee was great we even went back for more. Food was super would visit again if we were in the area.

Recommended to eat here by family. We ordered to-go for 3 people and all three breakfast dishes had bad avocado and bacon missing plus the bananas were brown. Great service otherwise. Make sure you check your order before you leave!

Lovely restaurant with great food! I enjoyed my vegan French toast. It was a real treat. My kids are picky eaters and they loved it also. They have a nice gift shop also.

We don’t normally leave a lot of reviews but when you find a great place on vacation and the people that work there make it extra special. We leave a review. The food is amazing the pancakes definitely I will be getting again. But I think what makes it even better is the owner and her daughter and staff are phenomenal people and they’re the kind of people that you want to meet when you’re on vacation so we will be back for breakfast and if you’re visiting Hilton Head Island do yourself a favor and go in there.

This is the best place for breakfast in the South so far...I eat the S'more pancakes delicious. The service was GREAT and super quick. I love my coffee very hot, and they really nailed it. 👌 I'm coming back soon. Planty of Parking. The restaurant was crowded but for my surprise they were quick and efficient and great price for portions.

Went here for the first time for breakfast. Our servers, Robin and Allison were very friendly. They have outside seating which is great when traveling with our dog, Spencer. They pancakes were fluffy and delicious. They accommodated my husband by adding onions and peppers to his hash browns which he requested. I highly recommend.

Small Diner feel with great customers service and even better food. Food is made fresh to order. Best pancakes I've ever had, including the biscuit and gravy. Looking forward to going back.

Expect to wait, but it's worth every minute of the wait. Everyone is friendly, service was great. The kitchen really is the heart of the restaurant. These guys put out some amazing food at a very respectable pace. They made the whole experience. I highly recommend this for breakfast, and even if you have to wait, it's worth it, I promise.

We had a yummy breakfast sitting out front on a beautiful morning. My wife had the homemade Corned Beef Hash with a side Silver Dollar Pancake. I had their Kitchen Sink on a Biscuit. Both dishes were great. Good coffee, too. Excellent service. This location is a hidden gem off of Pope. Take the time and find them.

Atmosphere and service was fantastic! We came to Millers for a quick brunch before heading home. We got the banana bread and the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The banana bread was heavenly! It was moist and had a light chocolate cream that melted right on your tongue. The grilled cheese was super crispy and the tomato soup was amazing! The cappuccino latte had a nice decoration and tasted perfect! I would come here everyday if I had the chance to! 😊

From start to finish the whole experience was 10/10!!! Appetizers, drinks, entrées were spectacular. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant is adorable. Tristen our server, was amazing. Very attentive, and made wonderful suggestions. Definitely coming back next visit to Charleston and i would ask for him again!

We saw the menu and immediately knew we wanted to come here. Bonnie was an absolute gem and a fabulous server, her advice and suggestions were spot on and she was so sweet. The food was absolutely fantastic! We literally loved every bite of everything we got. The cinnamon roll was absolutely enormous and even tho we shared it, we barely made a dent. The grits + cheddar cheese were amazing. The cornmeal pancakes and fried chicken were spectacular. We very likely will come back for breakfast tomorrow.

I stopped by Millers All Day and ordered the King Street Bowl — absolutely delicious! Everything was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and felt like the ideal Charleston brunch dish. My waiter, Tristan, was awesome — super friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. The vibe was fun and relaxed, and service was quick even though it was busy. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to next time I’m in town!

Fantastic breakfast. The biscuits are amazing. We would have liked to try a cinnamon roll, as some of our neighbors were enjoying them, but we were just too stuffed! Service was friendly and attentive. We were willing to take a high top so did not have to wait.

Really tasty breakfast spot! The food was great, though the prices were a little high ($4 just to swap bacon for sausage and $12 for a mimosa). But wow — the biscuit with apple butter completely stole the show! Absolutely delicious and worth coming back for on its own.

Despite the name of the restaurant, they close at 3p so we were happy to make it in time for a late lunch. Perhaps because it was 230p, the food was all served lukewarm vs hot, as in cooked to order. It mostly tasted fine but we like our food served hot. The shrimp and grits was ok flavor-wise but lukewarm which doesn’t work for me especially with gravy. The biscuit with sausage gravy was also lukewarm but the fried eggs were hot. The fried chicken was dry and maybe it was reheated but the bigger issue for us was too heavy handed on the pimento cheese which overwhelmed the taste buds. Not a fan of this dry chicken sandwich. The service is excellent so that gets the review an extra star.

This place is such an awesome find. Whether it’s breakfast, brunch, or lunch… They deliver in spades! Unique and classic menu items… Honestly one of the better breakfast/brunch menus I’ve ever seen. All the food we got was absolutely delicious, you cannot go wrong. Take your servers recommendations… But understand that peoples taste are different so go with your gut and get the one you really want! My kids loved everything they had to eat as well. But the shining star of the visit, in all honesty, was our server Daphne. She was attentive, communicative, made great recommendations, had an amazing demeanor, and really made our visit special… And you could tell she wasn’t even trying, it’s just the way she is.

True to the south, great breakfast and great service! The exterior was clean and good repair the inside was spotless. The entry was quickly greeted and service didn’t falter. The portions generous with great flavors. Hot and fresh. Everything they claim to be was given to us. New Yorkers that rely on greasy spoons in NY this was a treat.

What I loved so much about Johnny D’s is their COFFEE!! We went twice and both times I had about 6 cups of coffee in total. The food was awesome, especially their spicy avocado omelette. The servers were so nice and kind, especially the hostess, they continued to check on our table which is always a plus. The atmosphere is so welcoming and warm and honestly, Johnny D’s was the best part of us coming to Myrtle Beach for the first time. I’m going to miss their great service and their coffee.

Our friends who live in the area recommend this restaurant. My family and I went on the weekend. Staff was super friendly and made my family and I feel very comfortable. The food was delicious!!! My wife could not stop talking about the chicken and waffles. Friends bought us a coffee mug that they sell in the restaurant, along with other soviniers. Plenty of parking is available. Just had to wait approximately 15min to be seated. Great place to take the family.

My family always stops here at least once whenever we come down to Myrtle Beach. Their food is excellent as always, and their staff is very nice and friendly. The food came out quicker than I expected, hope the staff can catch their breathe throughout their shift! Daphne was our server and she did an amazing job. Helped recommend things from the menu and checked in on us every so often!

Great Breakfast Variety and Friendly Service We stopped by Johnnie D’s while visiting Myrtle Beach and enjoyed a hearty breakfast. The portions were generous, and the food came out looking just like the pictures — golden onion rings, a classic burger plate, and a full breakfast spread with eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, pancakes, and hash browns. Service was friendly and the restaurant had a casual, welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast platter was especially good — the pancakes were fluffy and the bacon crispy. The burger and fries were excellent. Prices were reasonable for the area, and the menu had something for everyone. If you’re looking for a good local spot for breakfast or brunch in Myrtle Beach, Johnnie D’s is a solid choice!

Yummy! We were told the wait was 20mins and we waited exactly 18 mins. Our waitress was sweet and timely and the owner & chef delivered food hot and ready to the table herself. You can she cares about it getting to the table hot & fresh. This place was slammed but ran efficiently. The management was managing and helping which I love seeing! Everything we ordered was delicious. People were happy and families were being fed. :)

We stopped in for a "Random Road Trip #67" and were not disappointed. You choose what you want to start with (burrito, bowl or taco, etc.) and build your plate from there. It has a great vibe and the staff was very attentive to our needs. We got the bowl with chicken, etc. and were not disappointed. The only reason for the 4 was the cafeteria style on atmosphere-but it seems to work for them!

The lady taking orders wasn’t friendly or helpful which was a little off putting, but the breakfast burritos were really good. Fresh ingredients, lots of options and tasty. Wouldn’t recommend taking to go as would probably be soggy but they had both indoor and outdoor seating. Would definitely go back.

Me and my sisters have been coming here for a while now. WAY better than any chipotle I’ve had. They load their bowls great and it is very fresh. I’ve had burrito bowls and I love all the different toppings such as pineapple, peach, guacamole, pico de gallo. Staff is very friendly and fun to talk to. Last time we went it was busy but we got our food in a timely manner. I wish the line wrapped around the inside, especially on days when it’s hot outside. It is a bit pricy, about $12 per person. I love how they breakfast and coffee items in the morning too!

We got the breakfast burritos with the local bacon and they were absolutely amazing. We loved how you could pick your toppings and everything was very fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back.

Java Burrito always hits the spot! They have the best burritos and espresso milkshake on the island. Have been coming here 10+ years everytime we visit Hilton Head.

1st time there, we had burritos. They are large and custom made, you choose what goes in. Chicken was very tender and sides were fresh. Service was great with plenty of inside and outside seating.

This was our first sit down breakfast after a 3 day travel from Wisconsin. Our 11 person group got in right away just before 8am, filled in quickly shortly after. Our server was great, food was delicious, staff was friendly. Our group might be on the large side then what their used to as our food came out in stages, wasn't much of a delay so nothing to complain about. In town for a week so might stop back again.

We stopped in at Eggs Up Grill on 38th Ave during a quick weekend trip a few weeks back, and it was such a great experience! The food was fresh, delicious, and came out quickly, exactly what we needed to start our day. Our server, Carol, made the visit even better. She was wonderful. Attentive, funny, and made us feel right at home. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does. Highly recommend this location if you’re in Myrtle Beach!

No wait time to be seated. Food was served quick. Food was delicious and plentiful. Allison was our server and she was great, checking up on us and making sure we got everything. This place also has cheaper prices compared to other breakfast places in the area. My husband is super picky, but he loved the home fries here!

I recently visited Eggs Up Grill, and overall, the experience was decent. The food was tasty, but what really stood out was the excellent service from Carol. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her positive attitude really made the visit memorable! Would definitely come back again.

Carol or waitress was AMAZING! Very kind and patient. I was disappointed that they only had half and half creamer for coffee. Even Vanilla would’ve been nice. That’s why not a full star. Lack of coffee cream options. The Food was delicious and well made. Enjoyable atmosphere. Background noise was a little Much and made conversations difficult.

Stopped by Eggs Up Grill for breakfast and ordered the crab cake Benny. It was very salty, possibly made with real crab meat, but the seasoning was overpowering. I had high expectations for how it would look, but it didn’t quite match what I had imagined. The Benny itself was decent, and mine was cooked all the way through. The kids had waffles and enjoyed them, finishing everything on their plates. Service was quick, parking was easy, and the price was reasonable.

Delicious! The interior is pretty, the terrace seating is great, and the food isn’t too salty—everything tastes amazing. The banana French toast wasn’t too sweet and tasted good. Had a lovely time at Croissants!! The food was delicious and reasonably priced despite aesthetically being an upscale cafe. The fried green tomato and pimento cheese grilled cheese was great (I added bacon, very worth it) and you should definitely pair it with their tomato soup! My fiance got the chicken and waffles and was very delighted, I swear it disappeared after looking away for two seconds haha. I also had early grey tea and they serve it in a very cute setup with a drawstring tea bag for the loose leaves. Our server, Sharon A, was also an absolute sweetheart!! She had asked if we were celebrating anything and we actually just got recently engaged (like literally a day ago) and so we got a little celebratory cupcake 🥺❤️ Highly recommend coming here to enjoy a yummy meal and cute date!

Extremely well done breakfast spot a little up the road from main Myrtle beach but 💯 worth it!! Everything was top notch from the delicious smoothies, amazing breakfast choices and pastries to take home for later! We had the Croque Madame and the Original Benny and they were out of this world. Atmosphere was upscale and very clean and the service was top notch. Highly recommend

The food was great and the service was excellent! They also have a nice selection of dessert items to pick from at a separate counter at the entrance which is nice touch and a bit different from other restaurants in the area. We will definitely stop by for both next year.

This visit we just stopped for some takeout desserts. The red velvet cake and the Keylime pie slices are amazing. Previous visits were for brunch. Always delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive.

We stopped in for breakfast after being told the wait would be about 15 minutes — it ended up being closer to 35. Once we were finally seated, it also took quite a while before a waiter came over to take our order. The food itself was fine, and the complimentary mini pumpkin muffins were a nice touch, but the long wait and slow service definitely took away from the experience. Hopefully they can improve their timing because the place has potential.

We sat outside which was perfect weather for it. Our waitress was very nice and recommended a few must try dishes. The drinks never ran dry. The food came out hot and fresh. They also give you the seasonal complementary tiny muffins.

Stopped by this American seafood restaurant for dinner and had a solid experience overall. While the prices were definitely on the higher end, the quality of the food and service helped justify the cost. The atmosphere was one of the highlights—relaxed, inviting, and tastefully decorated with coastal vibes that made it perfect for a seafood night out. Whether you’re on a date or dining with friends, it sets the right mood. Service was excellent—friendly, prompt, and attentive without being overbearing. Staff made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal, and the timing between courses was just right. The food itself was good—not mind-blowing, but well-cooked and fresh. If you don’t mind spending a little extra for a nice night out with great ambiance and service, this place is worth a visit.

Such a great view outside! Comfortable atmosphere and great refreshing food! Blew my expectations away!! Got the crab dip wich was amazing- and whipped which was a first. Also for the salmon and avacado wrap- very refreshing. Hummingbird cake for dessert was also delicious and made in house!

This is like stepping back into the 1950’s in terms of the decor, the menu, and the general atmosphere. The prices are not from the ‘50s though - think mid range steakhouse. There were three to five people standing around at all points in time but the service was slow and inattentive. The food was fresh, but not something I would want to eat again. Generally I would recommend against choosing this restaurant. There are better places to spend your money. Goodness, I just looked at the prices again - what a joke!

Food was delicious. Environment was very nice and enjoyable. Ocean view with beautiful sunset. Musician entertainment was great. Service was struggling, the bartender was stuck trying to tend the bar as well as wait tables and he was stretched too thin. I felt bad for him. Our Margherita's were really sour and we mentioned it to him when we ordered another one and it was still way too sour.

I have been going to Sea Captains’s House for years! The food just keeps getting better. The seafood is so fresh. The batter on the fried seafood is so light! The selection for no seafood lovers is good. A must for everyone’s Myrtle vacation!

Food and atmosphere were great. We enjoyed some wine and fresh seafood. A great choice if you’re looking for a nice view. Our waitress Cassandra was attentive and friendly. We’ll be back if in SC again.

Location is perfect. Waitress was very attentive. Food is good but a bit pricey. Filet was cooked perfect. Crab dip was the best thing on the menu. The baked potato is cooked already cut open. By the time it comes out the top is very hard, crunchy and there's barely any edible potato. $100+ for one person 1 appetizer, a cocktail, dinner meal and dessert. Its good, but take your wallet and be prepared. Oh and the live music was a definite bonus. I will add the waitress asked the bartender to help take a table. She refused. Made a comment to her 3 customers sitting at the outdoor bar that she wasn't doing that and taking a big party (there was no big party at that time). That was not the time or place. That should've been figured out before you get in front of your customers.

Homely, Chill, and Dog-Friendly Vibes! 📍The spot: It was packed on a Sunday morning, but don’t worry—seats open up fast (at least that was the case for me). The only thing is, the seating area gets a bit tight. If you love dogs, you’ll get a kick out of all the pup portraits on the wall. They’ve got seating inside and outside. 🥞 What we ordered: Society Street French Toast with fresh berries: Super tasty, but don’t expect a huge portion. The bread is fairly thin, so it’s not overly filling. French Dip (Croissant with Portobello and Roast Beef (specials menu): It was fine—well made but nothing to write home about. 🚗 Parking: Parking here is a bit of a challenge. The place doesn’t have its own parking lot, so good luck finding a spot! 🙋‍♂️The service: Pretty standard, nothing too memorable. Fast service. Final thoughts: It’s a super chill and comfy spot with cute dog portraits all over the walls. The food is simple and homemade, but for the price, it doesn’t totally blow your mind. Still, if you’re in the area and love a dog-friendly vibe, it’s worth checking out!

We stopped by on a rainy morning for breakfast. We got a mix of hot and iced chai and coffee. Please see the cute hot chia design. I had the international eggs Benedict with fried green tomatoes. It was a tasty combo. Friends enjoyed shrimp and grits, an omelet and a bagel. We enjoyed the vibe of the place. My friend that is gluten free enjoyed the omelet and just gave away her toast.

C-rolls to start your day with a blast of sweetness can’t be beat! The French Toast was great, as was the over-easy eggs with hardy toast and crisp bacon! For a mid-week (Tuesday) morning almost a zero wait for a party of 6 adults and 3 kids! The OJ was plenty, but a little thin! We will be back again next year!

We loved our breakfast at Lost Dog Café in Folly Beach! I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of cheesy grits — both were absolutely delicious and comforting. The kids got the happy pancakes, which were a huge hit and so fun with the fruit face design. My wife had the traditional breakfast, and everything came out hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The cozy, laid-back atmosphere and friendly staff made it such an enjoyable start to the day. Definitely a must-visit breakfast spot when you’re in Folly Beach!

Great place for breakfast in the Folly Beach area. Very walkable. If you don’t want to wait get here early. We got here a little after 9 and the inside was completely full so we sat outside on the deck which was nice! When we were on our way out there was a line out the door and numerous parties waiting. I ordered a coffee and the breakfast burrito. Both were delicious. I felt that the prices were reasonable but you’ll see on the menu they up charge for just about everything ($2 to split the plate, fee for bagging items to go, adding protein, etc). I felt the portion sizes were good and left full. Would recommend for grabbing breakfast. Love the decor with all of the dogs on the walls.

We had an incredible experience at Lost Dog Cafe! From the moment we walked in—despite arriving close to closing time—the entire staff made us feel completely welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and charming, with a laid-back vibe that perfectly complements the menu. Our group ordered a mix of breakfast and lunch favorites, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The real standout, though, was our waiter, Reid. His service was truly exceptional—friendly, attentive, and made us feel like valued guests from start to finish. If you’re looking for a local cafe with great food, amazing service, and a warm, welcoming environment, Lost Dog Cafe should be at the top of your list. We’ll definitely be back!!!

Had to wait about 50 minutes for a table (for breakfast!), but food was touted as “The best in Folly Beach”, so we willing to wait (although they estimated 30 minutes). We started with a cinnamon roll (warm) which was yummy. Before we were halfway done with that, our breakfast was served. My partner enjoyed her meal, but my Eggs Benedict was served cold, which was especially disconcerting as it was served extremely quickly (How does THAT happen?!?). Hundreds of dog photos are everywhere to soften your heart, even if the food falls short.

Came highly recommend and I am glad I came here! The chicken and waffle were amazing! You don't even need strup as the honey mustard sauce is sweet enough and goes perfect with each bite of waffle and fried chicken. Also, tried the corn cakes benedict with their grits, and let me tell you that those grits are by themselves worth the visit. I will definitely be back again!

Good diner spot. Chicken and waffle was great. Home fries were seasoned really well. Definitely get some of the pepper gravy! We were lucky and didn't have to wait, but I can see where they fill up quick! Oh and the Humble Hot Sauce on the table was amazing!

Nice little breakfast joint. I had the egg breakfast with sourdough bread. My husband had the everything biscuit with fried green tomatoes. We both enjoyed our breakfasts. Small parking lot.

Great place to go if you love excellent diner food and big portions (which I do)! My son got three pancakes and they were each the size of the plate...he barely ate half - took the rest to go. The biscuits are scratch made and excellent. I also recommend the homemade sausage which is crispy on the outside and super flavorful. Our waitress was super busy, but she hustled well and did a fantastic job. Parking can be tricky, but we made it with a full size Transit van.

We stopped in here for brunch while we were in Charleston. It was a restaurant Guy visited so we wanted to try it. The service was great. Parking is a little tuff as the place was busy. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I had the early morning burger. It tasted good but I don't think I would get it with egg again. My wife had the chicken and waffles. She said hers was delicious. With tip the bill was $50. We would definitely stop in to eat again.

Unfortunately I have to give 0/5 stars for the fact that myself & 3 other parties were all purposely overcharged for our food while we were there… as a business owner myself I’m disgusted to see a local establishment operating with such dishonesty & lack of integrity. Disgusting, won’t be back.

First time visiting! I had been seeing the different videos online about this place so I was excited to get the chance to try it. It was.. okay. I will admit that the portion was huge compared to most brunch places. I liked that I had enough to take with me for later. My company didn't but we eat at different rates 😅. It Is more expensive though. I understand that it's at Myrtle Beach and food prices are even higher there but.....yeah. Our server, Renee, was knowledgeable of the menu and made sure she checked on us often! I don't know if we picked the "right" time to go or it being, technically, off-season or the rain from the hurricane helped but we were seated Quickly and no lines! Would I go back, Yes. The decorations were cute and there were other items I'd try.

This place was recommended… we love recommendations, but they should have also mentioned the COST. I didn’t read reviews until after so my review wouldn’t be skewed. The portions were large. We had to wait for butter for the pancakes, Anna our server gave us hot pancakes since we waited so long. I was shocked to see smackers syrup( since they pride themselves as having fresh made food). Hot syrup would have been nice. I didn’t eat but was told the food was just ok. Could have gotten the same I HOP for 1/2 the price. $55.00 for an meat lovers omlet with a side of pancakes and smuckers jelly. The bathroom could use a little love… I had a to ask for toilet paper. Would we go back most likely NOT!! We took pics but the covering they out them in is only Horizontal… I got both horizontal and vertical, but my pic cannot go verticle For $ 15.00 I would accept that the paper frame would fit. I honestly feel like businesses let a lot lapse assuming it’s ok if the food is good ( my opinion) The atmosphere was fine the staff were friendly and professional. The food doesn’t reflect the cost.

The atmosphere and the food were good, but I definitely was not expecting to pay as much as we did for breakfast. Our server was nice, but we had to get up and ask for condiments, and he never returned to check in for additional drinks etc. The portion sizes are great, but I still don't believe it justifies the price. We ordered eggs with bacon and specialty pancakes (Hersheys chocolate chips) and eggs with sausage and French Toast. Our total bill was $60. While the food was good, it immediately left us with "buyers remorse" And wishing we had left as a handful of others did. If you're on a budget there are plenty of more affordable options nearby.

We visited National House of Pancakes and absolutely loved it. The menu is full of variety, and everything we tried was incredible. The crab and seafood platters were fresh and flavorful, the loaded potatoes were perfectly seasoned, and the fried chicken was crispy and tender. We also ordered the pancakes topped with strawberries, kiwi, marshmallows, and syrup they were as beautiful as they were delicious. Every plate came out generous in portion and packed with flavor. The presentation was impressive, and the staff made sure everything was just right. If you’re looking for a spot with amazing breakfast, seafood, and comfort food all in one place, National House of Pancakes is the perfect choice. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere highly recommend visiting.

This was an unexpected treat and amazing experience for us. Loved the unique atmosphere, the creative decorations and special touches on every dish, drink, and all around the restaurant. Staff were friendly and our orders came out super quick. The food was incredible! You must check this spot out when in MB!

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been so frustrated or taken aback by a restaurant experience. We had an amazing visit here in 2023 when we last came to Myrtle Beach and were so excited to return, but we left completely disappointed this time. The prices have become absolutely outrageous. There are so many items I could mention, but to give you a sense of it: a basic ham and cheese omelet is $30. Blueberry pancakes are $25 (they were $16 in 2023). A cappuccino is $14, and the “fun” hot chocolate we loved last time is now $30. The same drink was $10 in 2023. Thirty dollars for a hot chocolate? My son, who had been so excited to come back, insisted he wasn’t hungry because he was embarrassed that he’d asked to go there, not realizing how expensive it had become. He refused to order anything after talking about it for weeks. It completely ruined what should have been a happy breakfast- we ended up sharing one dish, confused and sad during the entire meal. We left upset and disappointed. The food is decent, but nowhere near good enough to justify those prices. Management keeps responding to negative reviews claiming they use “top-quality ingredients,” but I sincerely question it - a restaurant that truly makes everything from scratch with organic ingredients wouldn’t serve plastic containers of Smucker’s artificial syrup with $25 pancakes; they would serve real maple syrup. Please read recent reviews before going. The food may look fun online, but what used to be a special spot now feels like a stressful bait and switch and blatant price gouging.

#bestspot Place was amazing. The food portions are large and home cooked!! Yes prices are a little high but defiantly worth it. I never got so much bacon in a meal. And MIANGEL was our waitress. She was super friendly. We will be back again.

Stumbled across this establishment while we were shopping and honestly, I didn’t expect it to be a sit down type of service based on the type of food they offer. We just wanted something sweet (a classic Nutella Crepe). I was a little disappointed that we needed a waitress but we still decided to stay. Nothing special and unnecessary extra cost due to the tip. I don’t think I would visit again. On the peanut butter and Nutella crepe, they added way too much and made it too sweet and hard to enjoy. 😕

This is a very nice place. The food is good and servings generous. I first visited for take out during the lock down for covid19. Reasonable dinner under 15 (including 20 % tip) with enough food for 2 meals. (Excellent cabbage). Went for happy hour and enjoyed live guitarist. Went for crepes, they are good. The bartender has fabulous Coconut Limeade (you can add booze) but it is excellent and unique on its own. Great wings and soup. This is still the place to go.

First off, atmosphere is amazing! Gotta mention how beautiful it can be to especially sit outside and appreciate the ambience of Market Common. I truly hate saying this but if you’re not getting Liz as your server here your time is gonna suck! LIZ IS GREAT TAKE CARE OF HER PLEASE! THIS IS NOT ABOUT HER! Two separate times the server we got has been rude and had bad energy, almost like they don’t like you but only enough to make sure you tip them something good, because believe me they’ll stand there and pressure you into giving them money! I love tipping, which is a crazy thing to say for some people, but giving can be such a beautiful thing. I don’t want to tip someone who feels entitled to our money when she can’t even reciprocate with basic levels of service, I mean I only leave good reviews on places but I hated this so much I had to say something! Our server sucked, Kari I don’t know what we did but I wish we could’ve been better for you. We had to wait in increments of +25 minutes for anything, we felt like we bothered you just for asking for water that you had to get someone else to bring them out, you only asked for refills at the end of the meal after we had been sitting outside for what felt like forever, only to then be nowhere to be found when it was time to pay! I had to get up and ask to see if I could pay and get a box so we’d be out of your way. We felt very unwelcome, I couldn’t care less that the food was terrible and that the tomatoes were mushy and old, the beautiful crepe desserts you guys make are okay, I truly hated feeling like I got ripped off like I wasn’t worth your time. AND THE RESTAURANT WAS NEARLY EMPTY! What did we do to deserve such terrible service? There’s a reason this place had a C rating.

The food was delicious! I had the French onion soup which was amazing and my aunt had the chicken noodle. I had the salmon one with balsamic vinegarette! Yum! They even had a harp player come in while we were there! The dessert crepe was amazing as well! Our server Rose was very nice and attentive!

Service was excellent. The portions are more than fair. I usually get 2 crepes since they are usually small. But not here. I recommend getting one. The Western Crepe or the Reese's Rush with bananas. The coffee was great as well but pricey @ nearly $10. Total for 3 crepes and 2 lattes with sausage and bananas was $54. Only down fall is that it isn't closer to the beach! Would definitely recommend and come here again.

Wow! We found another fantastic restaurant. Set in a French atmosphere and specializing in French food and crepes. We went there for lunch and split to meals among us. (2 adults and 2 children). One was a dessert crepe and the other was a savory crepe. It was a lot and filling with a lot of flavor. Service was excellent and seemed very upscale, but it was casual. No dressing up necessary unless you’re on a dinner date. Lots of seating and a bar area if you want a drink. Prices were reasonable for the amount you get and the quality of food. Parking is close by with handicap parking nearby. Recommended!

Once we discovered this place, we stop every time we’re on vacation in MB. We get a savory crepe then split the Blueberry Farm desert crepe 👌🏻. The food is great and it’s a nice chill area. After eating you can get a nice walk in around The Market Common.

The whole area was flooding, but managed to find a tasty, warn meal, dry at a bar with super friendly people. Excellent bartender who made you feel welcome and part of the cool-kids. Thank you!! I needed some fruendly faces after a long, slow voyage from FL.

What an amazing experience! Quaint, unpretentious, reasonably priced seafood restaurant on the waterfront with beautiful views and spectacular service! The grilled Flounder was perfectly cooked, the Colard Greens delicious, and the Bread Pudding with Rum Sauce is almost more memorable than the views!

Waterside restaurant with views of the marina and sunsets. Good menu and bar. Recommend the alligator! Inside seating and also an outside patio area downstairs.

I'm a simple man. I like cold beer, black coffee, a thick woman, and the Bear Island Shrimp & Grits from Marina Variety Store Restaurant. This plate of food changed my worldview. I'm originally only from JUST south of the Mason Dixon, but the andouilles gave me a southern drawl longer than the line at the dmv and the fried gator made me sweaty-er than a Southern Baptist pastor spitting fire and brimstone. When that plate of grits gets sat in front of you after tying one on in Charleston the night before, I ain't saying that you're staring into the face of God, but I ain't not saying you won't be neither. The wait is non-existent compared to Charleston proper. Screw that stuffy city restaurant experience. Come here instead.

Really great food. Fresh and served really fast. The only slight negatives- sticky color is never attractive. You get over it fast but it’s off-putting when you enter. Also the smell when you enter. Sure it’s a seafood place but could smell a little more cleaner. Service was good but no refills offered. She was busy though, so just an over sight.

It's an okay place. Could have nice views, but sadly just a view of the swamp. Service was good; food was okay. Restaurant is so-so. I think the bar downstairs with all the found folk is truly there forte.

We came to Mammy’s 3 out of the 5 days we were in Myrtle Beach this week. It is buffet. Also they do have a menu if you don’t want the buffet. The biscuits and gravy were fresh every time! They have scrambled eggs and scrambled western style eggs, bacon, sausage links and patties, small pancakes, French toast, potatoes which were not good, flavorless and hard, hash browns which were excellent, corned beef hash. No toast or bagels on the buffet. There is strawberries, grapefruit, oranges, cantaloupe, and honey dew as far as fruit. And little donuts, cinnamon swirls. I would definitely come back if in a Myrtle Peach again.

10/10! There is a line around the building where you have to wait in to get inside and you can see why. FRESH food at the buffet constantly coming out, fresh fruit. Including biscuits and gravy, grits, pancakes, French toast, hash browns, a variety of meats. An amazing meal and quick meal. Nice staff. Highly recommend to anyone. $15 per adult. VERY REASONABLE PRICE!

We go to Mammy's every year and it is always so tasty! The waitress was kind, and we like how they have the breakfast buffet, so its good for everyone. My kid loved the strawberry pancakes. The wait can be a little long, and the place is tight, but it's worth it!

My Uber driver told me this was the best breakfast buffet in town. Ten minutes later, I found myself here. I got here at a good time because there was no wait! There is no waiting area, so you have to line up outside if there's already one party inside. I opted for the breakfast buffet ($15.99 per adult), and it was marvelous. I can't really eat much for breakfast, but I enjoyed all the fresh fruits: watermelon, canteloupe, honeydew, grapefruit, grapes, strawberries, etc. Too bad coffee is not included in the buffet. The corned beef hash and French toast were most notable to me. Service was ok. You have to ask the server for the bill, and then you bring it to the counter to pay. They sell merch like T-shirts and magnets. Bathroom available. No Wifi. Credit card accepted.

This was our last breakfast in MB. It was great. The eggs were perfect and the corn beef hash was great. The biscuits and gravy was flavorful and creamy. We all had the buffet. I literally tried some of everything and there was nothing bad.

Amazing food ! Great quality! Hot and fresh! me & my husband ate here and without the tip costed about $25-30 The tomatoes was soooo good & so was their gravy. I will definitely visit here every year we come to the beach 10/10. Very affordable & very clean establishment.

Went here for breakfast on a random Wednesday. We had been wanting to go for a while and figured might as well. It was busy & loud. Crowded with tables. We ordered the breakfast buffet. Which was very disappointing. Fried potatoes were hard, old and cold. Not a huge variety. French toast was ok. The bacon was like Jerky. Grits super runny. Just all around NOT what I expected. Might be better if you order off the menu. But not the buffet.

We just arrived into town for our annual beach vacation. Breakfast is not something we usually go out and do but we brought my mom with me this year and she wanted pancakes! Omega pancake house is right around the corner from our condo and they didn’t look super busy yet. When we walked in we were immediately greeted and seated at a 4 top for a party of 2. When our waitress Theresa came to take our drink order, we were also already ready to place our meal order. We ordered a coffee, 2 freshly squeezed orange juice, Blueberry ricotta waffle with bacon, and a side of scrambled eggs and cheese. We also ordered sweet potato pancakes, eggs over medium, and hash brown. The waffle was delicious with fresh blueberries and blueberry syrup. My mom LOVED her sweet potato pancakes with homemade cinnamon butter. The bad… some of the food was obviously precooked early in the morning. I understand that this is a vacation destination so they want to get people in and out fast and remaking popular sides makes it more efficient to turn tables but I’m very disappointed. Almost $7 for a side of bacon that was absolutely inedible. It was as chewy as a dog treat. The scrambled eggs also taste like a hotel continental breakfast… premade and my cheese was just sprinkled on top. The eggs weren’t even hot enough to melt the cheese like they have been sitting prior to turning them into scrambled eggs and cheese. The hash brown again, tasted like it was precooked early that morning and just slapped on the plate when they received our ticket. The only thing hot and fresh were the pancakes and waffle. Everything else was a disappointment. We ordered a Greek burrito to go and my boyfriend said it tasted alright. Our server was lovely but we probably won’t be back if we are ever in the mood for breakfast again. Hopefully we can find somewhere that provides made to order during the rest of our trip.

First time to Seaside/Myrtle Beach and we picked this place just seeing the sign. We took a chance, and it turned out to be a gem. They had awesome and delicious food at reasonable prices. Very busy place though, so it’s best to get there early. Lots of parking surrounded the building. Inside was clean with lots of seating, but very busy. Staff was excellent and checked on us throughout our time there. They had lots of traditional and creative new entrees. Lots of flavor, perfectly cooked and we left there full. Everything we ordered was delicious. If we get to Myrtle Beach in the future, we’ll definitely get back here.

Pulled in and the parking lot was packed, but was still able to walk right in and sit down. Prices was about the same as most breakfast places. The coffee was the best coffee I have ever had at a sit down breakfast restaurant! Nothing fancy just good. Food was good and so was the service.

I stand corrected, this is a really great Pancake House! Omega knocked it out of the park this morning! Our server Jenna was so sweet and polite and I didn't realize their menu was that big either. I ordered The Mexican Omelette w hash browns and it was delicioso! My beautiful Samantha ordered The Pancake Special which was two giant pancakes, two eggs, and bacon. We were definitely impressed and will definitely be back! Thank you Omega Pancake House!!!

I had such a wonderful experience at this pancake house! The food was delicious, fresh, and came out quickly, but what truly made my visit stand out was the amazing service. My server Teresa went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—friendly, attentive, and always one step ahead with refills and checking in. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend. Teresa really added to her a team and it shows that really cares about their guests.

I came to Blueberry Grill for the first time and I was really impressed with the quality of food. I order the Monte Cristo with Pancakes and it was delicious and very flavorful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the cups so much that I had to buy one to bring home. Definitely recommend Blueberry Grill and will return. I recommend adding yourself to the wait list using yelp before you get there so the wait won’t be long it tends to get very busy.

The ambiance of the inside is comfort. You could lose yourself in conversation with friends, family or a client. The food is a whole other story. We began with delicious blueberry hushpuppies that came with a delicious blueberry syrup to dip them in. (We ate them so fast I forgot to snap a photo). I ordered the Blueberry Creme Brulee French Toast which surprisingly was so decadent and the blueberry custard on top was phenomenal, silky smooth and delicious. And the surprise of the "creme brulee" drizzle that added just that right amount of crunch....almost like I dipped my French toast into an actual creme brulee. My daughter ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast which was actual cinnamon rolls made as French toast, drizzled with blueberry sauce. If you've never had a blueberry cinnamon roll, trust me you will love this dish. I ordered the Sweet Potato pancakes for my Granny and they tasted so much like a sweet potato casserole, makes me want to rethink my Thanksgiving dish. The brown sugar icing to drizzle over was absolutely delicious and the pecan halves within the pancakes and on top was just the right touch. All in all, the food, the atmosphere and the staff were great. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Lay-Lay contributed to the wonderful experience we enjoyed at the N. Kings Hwy location. The kitchen staff was on point with punctuality, courtesy, and friendliness at delivery. We all like to think we have exquisite taste and know when we are eating food uniquely created... we were no different while dining at Blueberry's Grill. We ate there twice over a four-night stay. The menu is packed with excellent selections. Recommend you start with the Blueberry hush-puppies. Pictures posted for your viewing. BTW - The North Myrtle Beach location is most inviting.

Blueberry Grill is a wonderful place to eat. The food is always great. We visit the one in NC every time we are there. This was the first trip to the Myrtle Beach, SC location. Still fantastic. Highly recommend!! All 6 of us were very happy with meal and service.

Best breakfast we had in Myrtle Beach. Locals kept recommending it, so we finally went, and it delivered. Even on a packed Saturday, our server was attentive. We made a reservation about 10 minutes before arriving and were seated right away. Food was delicious and came out impressively fast. We’ll definitely be back.

Brunch at Blueberry Grill is a love letter to indulgence. We ordered two dishes, one sweet, one savory and both were unforgettable. The French toast was pure comfort: golden, pillowy, and kissed with cinnamon. It tasted like a cinnamon roll that grew up and got a little fancy soft inside, crisp at the edges, and just the right amount of sweet to make you close your eyes and smile. Then came “Live and Give,” a savory-sweet surprise that defies description. Eggs and bread formed the top layer, but the magic was in the mix: bacon, sautéed peppers and mushrooms, creamy sauce, and sausage, banana peppers It was bold, balanced, and totally addictive. We ordered both. We’d do it again. The coffee was smooth and satisfying, grounding the meal with just enough richness to round it all out. Blueberry Grill doesn’t just serve brunch it serves joy.

Absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and every little detail was clearly taken care of with love. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish we ordered was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. What truly impressed me was how well they treated the children. They brought out the kids’ meals first, which shows they really care about making families feel comfortable and prioritized. It meant a lot to see that the little ones mattered too! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. This place has definitely become one of my favorites. I’ll be coming back soon, and I highly recommend it to anyone — especially families!

Diamond was our waitress when we came here back in April and she was amazing! Food was good and she provided excellent service with checking on us and making sure we have everything we need.

Our first impression from the outside was inviting. Once we went inside, we were so happy we did. The atmosphere was fresh, clean and welcoming. Our server Diamond was an absolute delight. She was sweet, courteous, helpful and attentive. What a wonderful person to help enhance our dining experience. Thanks Diamond! You are a true gem! 💎

The food was awesome! The waitress checked on us often but didn't offer me a refill, not once. My son in law got a refill. The staff stood in a corner and stared at us when we walked in and even after being seated. We were the first people there but that's still very rude. Then when paying, the waitress asked if I needed change. Don't assume you're getting a tip, ever. Your service wasn't that great. And I, the customer, am to decide how much to give you. She kept the .40 without asking too, not a big deal. I did leave her a tip but not as generous as she was hoping!! Do a better job next time. No music, just my family whispering so the staff in the corner staring couldn't hear us. If you get the orange juice it's $6 for a shot glass

My husband ordered Chicken and Waffles & I got a French toast dish. My husband was expecting to get more than one waffle, but was only served one waffle with a small chicken filet. The French toast was okay, but we both agreed that the house fries were the best thing there. We paid $50 for two of us to eat and we felt that was a bit pricy for what we got. I was also shorted change (off by a couple dollars) by a totally different waitress than the server we had. We wouldn't return, but its not the worst place to eat breakfast if you're nearby.

A perfect way to start our day! Destiny was fantastic and knows how to manage behind a bar and all the things that go with it beautifully! The food and service was amazing.

The food was ok. I'm only giving it a lower rating because they did not have any of the salmon. I ordered a BLT. The staff is really friendly but I mis have gone when they're not really busy and they take advantage to do all their cleaning and the smell of Pinesol or whatever they clean with was super strong and overwhelming.

Don’t bother going to any other breakfast place. This is the best one in town. The food is amazing. Everything. The eggs, the bacon, the GRITS, the hollandaise. All of it was superb. We will each breakfast here every day of our trip. 10/10.

We decided to make a stop by the Golden Egg on the morning of our annual beach departure. My Aunt made the recommendation and we needed a breakfast redemption after have a horrible experience at Omega Pancake House (please avoid that place at all costs!). Golden Egg Pancake House did not disappoint and absolutely lived up to the hype that my Aunt was telling us about. It was a Sunday morning and I expected to wait at least an hour for a table but they were only running about 15-20 minutes for seating of a party of 4. The restaurant was huge and had plenty of seating. After being seating, we were immediately greeted and placed drink orders. We enjoyed EVERYTHING we ordered and unlike Omega Pancake House EVERYTHING WAS FRESH! The food was delicious and exactly what we needed to fill our belly’s and prepare for a 7 hour drive home. My mother loved her chip beef gravy and said it tasted exactly like my grandmothers. My boyfriend’s breakfast quesadilla was HUGE and packed with all the meats, and my scrambled eggs and cheese, sausage patties, and French toast was so tasty! The only thing we did not enjoy was the iced coffee. Please make this a must go the next time you are looking to enjoy a fresh and filling breakfast. We will absolutely be back next year when we’re in town for vacation.

The food was good, and even though it was pretty crowded when we arrived, the staff served us surprisingly fast. I ordered the Carolina omelet with regular pancakes. The pancakes were good, but I wish I had tried one of the flavored ones—I think that would have been even better. I also had the cheese grits, but I didn’t care for them too much. They tasted more like cream of wheat than true Southern grits to me, but my husband actually enjoyed them. The omelet had sautéed green peppers, which added great flavor. I had SPINACH in the place of the mushroom, it had to many onions. Next time ill definitely ask for light onions. We also ordered a chicken quesadilla to go, and my son devoured it so fast I didn’t even get a chance to take a picture! So it had to be delicious 😋. Overall, I wouldn’t say it’s a “we have to rush back immediately” type of restaurant, but it is definitely a hidden gem if you’re looking for a comforting, home-cooked style meal and an amazing staff.

Good breakfast, quick service. We had the Goldie’s Nutella pancakes, breakfast burrito, French toast and the Golden Egg special. Parking on site but it can be tight depending on timing. We were there early but by the time we left the parking lot was full.

Nice family breakfast spot. Service was nice and cheery especially for how early it was. They have a great selection of traditional breakfast food fare and some really delicious looking pancakes. Tried the chocolate chip cookie pancakes and they were a chocolate chip cookie lovers dream!

Phenomenal place and ive gone a few times over the past 15 years when I visit. I highly recommend going during a weekday and everything is great! Had the barnyard this last time. Delicious

Staff was so sweet & gave great conversation. Super small town good feels here!! Food comes out fast! If u complain about this place then somethings wrong with u! The food is heavy portions & we left super full! We had a great time & bought t-shirts to prove it! "Plenty" of parking all around the building with a short walk to the front door. If u want front parking yeah I see why people complain! Lol! The atmosphere is fun. We got good laughs at the funny decor! It's a cool experience for something outside of a normal regular chain restaurant! When we visit here next year we will be back!! Thank you for all you do & loving Jesus as shown on your sign! Overall, excellent value for the price and well worth a visit. --- As of this writing, I can confidently say this is one of the best places I’ve eaten at in Charleston. I stopped in for lunch and ordered the Special of the Day: ham, cheese, apple, and pickled onion on fresh baguette bread. This also came with a soup—my choice was potato—and a drink selection of house wine, French press coffee, or tea. The sandwich was absolutely exceptional. The combination of crispy baguette, tart apple, rich cheese, savory ham, and tangy pickled onion created a perfect balance of flavors and textures. Each bite had contrast and depth, making it one of the most memorable sandwiches I’ve ever had. The potato soup, however, was less impressive. It lacked seasoning and depth of flavor, tasting more like starchy potato water than a well-developed soup. A bit more seasoning and richness would have greatly improved it. The staff were quick, attentive, and efficient, making for a smooth dining experience. Considering the reasonable price, the meal offered excellent value—delicious food (especially the sandwich), pleasant service, and an inviting atmosphere.

Came here for lunch and was immediately greeted. The place has a cozy, cool vibe. Everything on the menu sounded amazing, it was so hard to choose! I ordered the Open-Faced Sandwich Provençal, and it was absolutely delicious! The salad with vinaigrette was outstanding, I’ll most definitely be back!

Super yummy sandwhich. Got the Sandwhich Provençal. One side had goat cheese all over it, one side had olive tamponade. Tomatoes & fresh tasting basil. If you like Caprese and like olives I think you’d love this

My friend and I were desperate for something to eat/drink on one of the hottest days of the summer and decided to stop in here. It was very fresh, flavorful, and fun! I normally avoid dairy however that is hard to do in a French bistro and nevertheless, it was delicious. I had the banana gazpacho, toasted baguette topped with brie and fig jam, and a slice of honeydew on the side. My friend had the same platter substituted with french onion soup. We completed it with a Perrier, iced coffee, and fruity mocktail. Service was fast and friendly despite how busy they were. Thanks Gaulart & Maliclet!

I love this place. It’s so simple and fresh and delicious. It’s a 40 year old establishment and has the feelings of a mainstay inside also. It doesn’t put on airs, but the service was efficient and the food was well made. I will find an excuse to come to Charleston again to eat here.

This place is one of our favorites. Every time we go to our condo in Mt Pleasant we have to visit them. Original and “frenchy” atmosphere. Food great my favorite is usually the menu of the day (which includes wine)! But anything I have ordered, no regrets. Be sure and order dessert and if they have it, the chocolate cookie cheesecake is delish.

I got a quick lunch here and the food was delicious and reasonably priced! I especially enjoyed the gazpacho. Perfect for a hot summer day.

Great local spot with amazing pancakes and service. We were seated and served fast with great conversation and attention from our server Sarah. Advised we were in town just as a brief birthday getaway and before we knew it they were singing with a birthday pancake for my daughter! We will definitely return.

Was recommended this place by someone we met. We figured we would give it a try, and we fell in love. Food was delicious, came out fast, service was beyond great. The portions were good size, and full of flavor. Not like those bland nursing home style breakfast places. My wife fell in love with their hash browns. We were treated like family, and felt as such. If you are ever in the area, would highly recommend stopping in.

The wait staff here was amazing. All of the staff were extremely friendly, including the busboy! The food was good and the wait wasn't bad either. My husband and daughter said the waffles were superb. Our only complaint is the aged-ness of the building. The windowsills were covered in dust and grime, and there was no exciting or engaging decor. But the food and service, which is what you come for, was right on point. It wasn't very expensive either.

As a traveling musician, when I roll into a town I always look for a local establishment with a reputation for good food, great service and proper cleanliness. It's sometimes a trial and error endeavor. I found such a place in Harry's. Not only was the food good and the price right but the service was exceptional. My server was named Angel and man was she ever. I ended up not only with a full stomach but also a new friend. Kudos to Harry's. Highly recommend.

Wahiba is the best server and greets you with a warm smile and remembers your face even if you haven’t been here in 6 months to vacation. Everyone is very friendly and you are greeted immediately upon entering. Drinks are brought out promptly and the coffee is delicious! I can’t leave without getting at least 3 cups worth. The food portions are generous and the service is impeccable. Great prices too. Couldn’t ask for more!

I came here with my son on Friday around 12:30. We stopped here because we are spending time in myrtle beach at all my mom’s favorite places to honor her memory as she passed away last November. I enjoyed the food and the server was really nice and did a great job. My son tried the patty melt which I think is the first time he’s ever had one and he liked it! I enjoyed the French toast, the bacon was perfectly cooked and the eggs were cooked right. Thanks for a great meal and all the good memories with my family here over the years.

Great food and wonderful service! Our server Kelcie was incredibly nice and very attentive. We ordered Belgian waffles with eggs, hash browns and corned beef hash. Definitely glad we decided to stop here during our stay in Myrtle Beach!

Great breakfast with fresh fruit and bits of bananas cooked in the pancakes too! That was a nice surprise with each bite! Staff was friendly and the cost was reasonable. Wait time was minimal but it does get busy at peak times

High price and bad food quality. For a place whose logo is pancakes they were awful. To top it off they put all our drinks in a bag, so yes it spilled. Should have had McDonald’s breakfast instead.

Shrimp and grits was absolutely amazing. Best we’ve ever had with a flavorful twist in the crispiness around the shrimps. Mussels were perfectly cooked without any chewiness and the sauce was phenomenal. Not too salty which is rare. Turkey club was good but too much bread. Service was overall really attentive. Hostesses were rude with validating parking. They did not have any more stickers and had no idea what to do otherwise. They gave stark attitudes because they simply didn’t know any other answer. It’s sad that something so small of this really brought down our overall look of it.

The restaurant is inside the hotel and was southern charm at its best. The decor was so lovely it reminded us of some of the scenes in Gone with the Wind. The service was top notch as well. We ordered seafood omelette and crab cake benedict. The crab meat was too salty to our taste and a little fishy too. Overall, the experience was very much to our expectations and we had a great time.

The setting and decor is beautiful, it’s an airy beautiful green setting with high tea style crockery and beautiful Christmas decorations all around. Food however left a bit to be desired. We couldn’t be around to enjoy the buffet but the a la carte breakfast that we ordered was not that good - fingerling potatoes were bland and over cooked; and eggs were too dry and flat. Coffee was a saving grace.

I was there for the brunch Buffet. The atmosphere and service is great but the food offerings were not very good. It costs $65 a person plus additional if you are having a soft drink. For the price, I was expecting better food offerings. There is an omelette station, and tables with bread, biscuits, waffles, some fruit, salmon, ribs, and duck I believe. In general the food was simple. Our server was very attentive and ensured we had our drinks coming along with mimosas. I will not repeat the experience as there are much better brunch restaurants around the city.

My sweet tolerance has been significantly decreased over the years but this place had the perfect amount of “sweet” in everything. A nice lady was there who advised that I try the raspberry macron because I didn’t want anything super sweet. It was so good that I had to come back and get another one right before we left. The Pain Aux Raisin was pretty good too. Must visit here if you have a sweet tooth while here.

Do I come to Hilton Head specifically for this bakery? Just maybe 😂 Seriously, this place is a staple, everyday stop when I’m in town. Amazing coffee and the pastries are to die for. The staff is always friendly. I love sitting outside and enjoying the harbor views, but the new inside expansion was nice for the more mornings. I know I’ll always be back!

The baguette and almond croissant were simply amazing! The lemon tarte was good but could be a bit more ‘ tarte’.. lacking a bit of the lemon flavor. Same for the keylime pie. It was good but my palate was begging for a bit more of the lime. But I highly recommend this bakery and will definitely return.

With all the great reviews I thought I would check it out. I got the ultimate bonbon. It looked beautiful, but it was very dry. It tasted like eating stale chocolate cake. I don't get what all the hype is about. On the plus side, it's in a nice setting by the water and staff are very friendly.

This is our fourth day in a row and we ordered our food to go and warmed up. Has never been a problem with the usual line they had every morning. Today they shoved the bags at us, gave us plates and told us they couldn’t warm up the food. Had we known that, we wouldn’t have ordered and gone somewhere with warm food. This is insane. $100 wasted because our party didn’t like cold food. My mind is blown at the horrible service, the flustered employees and have never been treated like that in a food establishment. Again, we ordered our food warmed up, to go. Took our money without letting us know that couldn’t be done and shoved bags and plates in our arms, disregarded us completely and said they wouldn’t warm it up. What is actually going on?

Was in the mood for crêpes, and this place popped up as one of the highest reviewed in the area. Located less than half a block off of King Street, this no-frills restaurant has delicious options, both sweet and savory in addition to options for those who may be looking for something other than a crêpe. My husband got an egg white omelette and Nutella crêpe, and we also got La Tristan which was delicious! Limited seating inside, you must order before you grab your seat. There’s great music playing in the background and you can tell the folks that work there have a great time as they sing and move to the music between customers. Definitely worth a visit!

Crepes here are just ideal! We took savory Buckwheat crepes with salmon, and another with eggs and goat cheese. It was a perfect healthy breakfast. We just couldn’t leave without something sweet, so Nutella croissants and crepe with backed apples nailed it. Thank you guys! You have made our day!

It's just ok. The crepes are simple, which I expected given that the restaurant is managed by a French family that brought along the recipes from the birth place of crepes as a dish. Which means you get the original, simple source material without all the stuff added to it through the years by other cultures. The ambiance is that of a college crepes hangout, which is exactly what it is. Gluten-free options are available. Overall: solid, well-priced, worthy of checking out.

This may be one of the world’s worst crepe shops. We had actually intended on eating nearby but the original place was closed so we decided crepes sounded delicious. It was anything but that. The orders took a long time to come out and our entire party had terrible crepes that no one finished. The only redeeming factor was that they brought it some complimentary Nutella crepes to make up for the long wait and those were actually delicious. Go with sweet crepes here if you have to choose, don’t do savory crepes at all.

I had never been to Golden Corral for a while a go and I’ve got to hand it to the restaurant people, they have the all you can eat whatever I can ever get. They even have ice cream and cupcakes for dessert and it was super good. I had no idea that they have an ICEE maker and I can’t wait to go back to Golden Corral next time.

One person shouldn’t have to pay $30 for a meal. That I could have easily ate twice somewhere else or if I liked hamburgers could have ate 5 or 6 for that price. The food was good and there's a wide variety. The desserts were great and my kids loved them! The best part of the experience was our server! Her name tag said "Wonderful" and she was wonderful! She doted on my kids and was always there to refill drinks and clear plates. She chatted with us and cracked us up! We hope to see her again next year!

All my food was excellent and was very tasty. I did notice one thing though. The meatloaf has a different sauce and is not as sweet as the old sauce. The sweet potato casserole is not nearly as sweet as it used to be. I'm wondering if they're starting to unsweeten some of the things on the bar. The rest of it was fantastic though and really enjoyed it.

Clean well kept, food bars were all well lit, clean, and wiped often. Plates were fresh and clean ready to use. Had a very good steak grilled to my preference. My 2 year old had lots of options to eat and ate for free. I thought there was a large spread of food to choose from constantly being refilled.

We went while on vacation. Food was really great, but what stood out to me was how friendly our waitress was. Didn't get her name but the name tag said "wonderful" she was a super friendly older Asian woman and made us feel right at home. She was so nice that I hugged her before we left. Overall amazing experience!!!!!

If you are looking for a casual spot with delicious food, Acme is a great choice. We did a walk in with 7 people and were seated right away. The servers were very friendly. This place is known for their shrimp and grits and I understand why. They have 6 different variations of their signature dish so definitely something for everyone. I went with the Isle of Palms shrimp and grits and it was DELICIOUS. I am still thinking about the blackened shrimp. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes which were also a hit!

Wow, the shrimp and grits "Lowcountry" style was amazing. The shrimp were fresh and the grits were delicious. Also had a great old fashion. My wife had a delicious combo of the best crab cake ever, scallops and shrimp. Server was friendly and very good. She wasn't pushy when we hung out a little after we ate. Take a break from the beach! Come, ask for Jessica and enjoy your meal with awesome service. First time there, it won't be the last. Wife had a salmon salad for lunch, it was good, I enjoyed the crab cake sandwich and a local Indian pale ale. Desert was cheese cake and it was yummy!

Blackened shrimp succotash is superb. Tried the grit fries this visit and I could drink that Gouda cheese sauce (wish there was about double the amount to go with the massive grit fries personally). Also tried a few desserts, everyone loved their dishes.

The location had onsite parking, plenty of seating, and was great for both indoor and outdoor. This was amazing seafood. It started out with the wedge, which was a beautiful presentation and delicious. My wife and I had the mahi-mahi and the swordfish which were terrific. Very light and flavorful. I had a side of grilled shrimp which was just OK because there wasn’t a lot of flavor but the rest of the food, including the sweet cornbread was pretty awesome. I would highly recommend eating here.

Food was good. No substitutions. Waitress was nice, helped me decide and helped someone else in my party order. Wasn’t a big fan of the fried green tomatoes but everything else was absolutely excellent and fresh!!

Have lived here for 17 years and can finally say I’ve been! We went in as a family of 4 for breakfast and it was delicious and super affordable. There was no wait, our waitress was friendly and attentive. I would recommend their biscuits and gravy and sausage egg and cheese biscuit! Now I want to go back and try lunch and dinner!!

Best restaurant we have been to in North Myrtle Beach! Excellent service! Ribeye was cooked perfect! Very flavorful! Taste like it was flame grilled. The fried shrimp were the best we have had. The fried flounder was cooked to perfection! The only drawback was that they ran out of coconut pie. But the chocolate was a delicious substitute!😍 Our server was very kind, attentive & Efficient! This placed was not super noisy. Perfect for my parents! I seriously can not say enough good things about this restaurant!

I don't get the hype about this place. It's crowded so service is slow, and their eggs, sausage, bacon, and grits are nothing to write home about (or a review, but here we are). We both ordered eggs scrambled with cheese. I don't know anywhere else that could screw that up. Except this place that just threw shredded cheese on top of scrambled eggs instead of folding in the cheese. The grits were thick and tasteless. The biscuits were flat and dry. The bacon and sausage were okay. Kinda disappointed because breakfast is our big meal of the day, and we could have gone somewhere much better.

What a GEM in N Myrtle. This place is on the main strip coming into N Myrtle. A line begins quickly for dinner, suggest going early 5:30ish. Line moves fast. Great fried seafood. Slaw is amazing, mayonnaise base with a vinegar finish, definitely homemade. Typical dinning room vibe, small room with many tables. Wait staff was awesome and efficient. We never miss the opportunity when we visit.

The best meal we've had down here on our vacation. Highly recommend The grilled grouper and shrimp meal. Even though you have to wait out in line out front, they get you into the door very very fast !!! Burgess.

This was our first time to Dino's. We've driven past many times and the parking lot is always packed so we figured we try it out. First off, we were seated very quickly and the place was hopping! We loved that we could order off the breakfast or lunch menu from the moment they open...most places won't let you order lunch good until 11am. The hubs got a bacon cheeseburger and I got the reuben. For as busy as the place was, our food was out to us in under 10 minutes which was impressive! The burger and reuben were great but the fries were just so-so. Overall we give them a thumbs up!

This restaurant has quickly become my favorite breakfast spot in Myrtle Beach, starting off, our waitress Terri was absolutely incredible, was very attentive, respectful, and kind. The prices (Especially for somewhere like Myrtle) were hard to beat, 3 of us ate and got large portioned meals for under $35 in total. (Bring cash you get a discount as well!) The food was delicious and so fresh, and we were all surprised with how fast it all came out. (Less than 10 minutes!)

OMG! This was the best breakfast I have ever eaten. I had the cinnamon swirl French toast with strawberry glaze. It was sooo good. The pancakes, waffles, eggs, and breakfast meats looked and smelled delicious as well.

No wait for seating. Wait, it was long to order, and another wait for receiving food. The food was somewhat cold. Good selection for breakfast.

Food was delicious. I did have to send mine back to be warmed up,but hubby had the best chicken-fried steak he has ever had. My berry berry cinnamon french toast was yummy too. Good coffee - you get the whole pitcher! Gracious server paid for our coffee so entire meal was $23. 😀

Even though the restaurant was very busy when we were there for breakfast, we were seated and waited on immediately. Our waitress was fast, competent and friendly. A perfect combination! We both got a bacon and egg sandwich. They were perfect! The eggs were so delicious and perfectly cooked. This is our favorite place to eat breakfast, from Tennessee to the coast of South Carolina and everywhere in between! Oh, the restrooms were spotlessly clean! Thank you!!!

My wife and I visited the SeaCow Eatery for the first time in March 2025. It is located not far from the Food Lion grocery on Jungle. There is an outside, uncovered seating area and a covered seating area, both are dog friendly. My wife had an egg salad sandwich which she enjoyed. I had a Reuben and it was good. Tea was good as well. Service was average at best. We would go back to the SeaCow.

We love and adore Sea Cow. Every trip we always make a point to eat here. The homemade biscuits are phenomenal. Crab cakes-out of this world- make sure to use the sauce they come with. Omelets are always fresh and tasty. Some of the best grits I've had.

I loved it! Best place on the island. Everything was perfect. It was also nice seeing the staff smiling and laughing together. The red snapper, field peas, and collards...all seasoned and cooked perfectly.

This was the most enjoyable breakfast experience we've had in a while! We came with our service dog and were seated on the patio. It had a sign for families and pets. We enjoyed interacting with the other pups dining there. The food was fast, hot and amazing! Our server was friendly and very attentive. We look forward to going back.

We very much enjoyed our dinner at SeaCow! Since we had a larger group, we sat on the patio at one of the picnic tables. There was a nice breeze, and we had a view of the marsh, and the street. So good people watching! They do have a kid's menu, and daily specials. Everyone enjoyed their food! The side salad was generous and fresh. Our food arrived cooked to our order. My picky, sensory kiddo even ordered a second burger, ate the dinner rolls, and even tried the okra! The staff was incredibly friendly, and even walked with our kids to show them the restroom. They were wonderfully patient with us, and checked in frequently. The Poor boys, shrimp, grits, and daily special (tuna) were absolutely delicious! Definitely noting that this is a place to return to!

I don’t get the opportunity to have really good collards greens in Indiana. This place had the best I’ve ever had. Service was amazing. Had many people checking up on us, my party did have some kids and they were interacting and talking with them which is something you don’t see a whole lot of. Definitely felt like a family friendly spot.

We had such an incredible meal there this morning! We are so so sad to have only found this place on our last day because we absolutely would have gone every morning- it was that great! Our server Jack had wonderful recommendations and made a delicious cappuccino. I got the croque monsieur, my husband got the crab cake Benedict, and my mother-in-law got the Swiss crepe. Everything was incredible! Truly such a great experience overall. Staff was very friendly, food was fresh, the baked goods all looked delightful, and the atmosphere is great! We cannot wait to come back and enjoy The French Bakery again!!!

We went on a busy Sunday and had a good breakfast. I loved my berry crepe, lots of berry sauce and good crepe. I wanted more after too. They have specialized coffee and their espresso is great. My family had a good meal too. Staff was nice too. We even got pastries after too. Please go check this breakfast place out.

Being French and growing up partly in the country and with some time in Paris I tend to be critical, this crew did an amazing job on being as close to authentic as possible. And our waiter I believe it was Nick, this young man deserves 5 stars on his own. Extremely polite, knowledgeable, and professional when delivering proper service. Very ambitious menu with breakfast and lunch options. Indoor and outdoor seating. French bakery with amazing pastries. Food is good. Coffee is OK. Pluses: Fresh O.J., pure maple syrup. Minuses: Jelly packets instead of house made jams; no turkey or chicken sausages, no breakfast potatoes other than frozen fries; turkey breast not fresh; no salt or pepper on the table. The menu stated the chicken salad was famous. I asked my server if we could get a side to try it out and he said no, only a half pound. I don’t understand why so many in the hospitality biz these days say “NO” right away. Overall, food is good and expensive. It’s definitely a once in a while breakfast spot.

I’ve been coming to the French bakery for 24 years. ! We celebrated my Nephews Birthday there ! Our Server Nick was Amazing! I got the quiche riviera which is spinach and The Frenchie cheeseburger with goat cheese! It was amazing !

Waitress was so friendly and food came out extremely quick. We were there at about 7:30 am after watching the sunrise. We got the fresh fruit platter which was huge, the veggie omelette and the crab omelette. Both were delish! It comes with a biscuit and home fries and personally think the prices were reasonable. The shirts were $25 which is just cheaper than any souvenir shop! (And they’re cuter)

Here with a group of friends. My meal, the daily omelet special was fantastic. The biscuits were perfection. My one friend cannot eat gluten. She ordered her meal with no toast or biscuits. The waitress rolled her eyes at her. My friend didn’t explain that she would have loved a biscuit, but couldn’t eat it, and she knew what to order. Then we waited forever to get our meals. The home fries were under cooked. It was a real mix of great food with poor service.

Small cute little place somewhat near the beach. Luckily we got a table right away. Took a minute to get anyone to give us water or even acknowledge us to take our order but again small and packed so not a lot of room for too many wait staff. It was a pretty humid day when we were there and it was super hot inside, no air only fans but that's ok. Food was good. Homemade. Basic breakfast menu, eggs, bacon, pancakes, biscuits, etc. Everything was good. Food also came out fast. Just beware.... They only take cash.

A local spot where they all stand and face the flag and recite the pledge of allegiance each morning around 8am. Awesome atmosphere and great service by the staff. I even received a nice thank you note from our server on the back of the bill. They make you feel at home and our waitress Chelsea was great and shared a lot of local knowledge about what to see and check out in Beaufort.

Good day to anyone reading this and hopefully this serves as a warning to NEVER step foot into this establishment moving forward... If it was possible to give 0 stars, we would. Mind you, we we are super easy going people and don't complain about dinning experiences ever! We are from the Beaufort area originally and have family here dating back 50 years. Never in of our dinning experiences have we experienced what we did at Blackstone Grill today. We stayed at the Beaufort Inn for the night and they provided us with (4) vouchers for my husband, myself and our (2) children in the amount of up to $10 per person for use at Blackstone. Being that we have our puppy with us, we decided to go get breakfast this morning. My husband made sure to ask if that was okay to do with the vouchers and they said that was fine, and that he just needed to pay the difference beyond the voucher $ amount. The total came up to be $59 and change, or $19 and change beyond the $40 in vouchers. My husband was given the option to tip on the $19, but he tipped $15.00 (25%) on a TO GO ORDER. They did not visually verify the contents of the to go order prior to leaving. My husband walked back down the street to bring back food to our room and after our kids had started eating their food out of their to go boxes, we realized we were missing (2) fried eggs, an English muffin, and a side of bacon. He immediately walked back and attempted to politely explain what was going on to the front desk staff. He was questioned and told that everything was in the bag until he insisted that was not the case. The girl at the front that originally took the order then went and spoke and the Manager and came back and insisted that he needed to go back to bring all of the contents to them from the order to verify! Absolutely insane in itself 😂, but he came back to our room and grabbed all of our half eaten food from our hungry kids hands, loaded it back into the bag, and went back to Blackstone. They then took the bag back and returned a few minutes later proclaiming rudely, "My manager said it's all good now" without VERIFYING YET AGAIN. Well upon returning we realized while they did add a box containing the English Muffin and bacon, the (2) eggs were STILL missing! Again, this was absolutely the WORST dining experience that we have had in over 40 years in the Lowcountry! 😡😡 Update to owners response: My review was in regards to the to go order that was missing several items purchased and how we were treated when bringing this to your establishments attention. We never asked to eat with our dog there, we specifically asked for only "to go" ordering. We were not accommodated in any way, we were interrogated and told we were liars over some eggs, bacon and an English muffin we paid for and tipped on as if we had dined in. The order was not verified before given to the customer and the interrogation left us wanting to warn others.

I was expecting the food to have a little more flavor. For me it as a little too bland. The coffee was very weak. The decor gave so much to talk about and see.

I found this place in an article and it had great reviews Online so decided to drive the 40 minutes and check it out. The article said good things about the French toast but when we got there, we saw other people’s orders and the French toast wasn’t as thick or as good looking as the photos. Was very busy when we walked in. We were greeted nicely, and the woman took our name without telling us how long the weight would be. We only waited a few minutes and were seated at a table that still had tip money on it and used silverware. Waited quite a few more minutes for a server to come over.. We ordered and food came out in 20 maybe 25 minutes. The booth we sat at was by the checkout desk so the entire time we ate, there were random people surrounding us and leaning into our booth, making it very uncomfortable.. i’m not trying to eat surrounded by a bunch of strangers who are breathing on my food and down my neck. Food was OK at best. One of the cheaper places around town. The grits were cold and hard. It was fine. Basic. Nothing great. The inside looked like it was in the process of being updated?? I’m not sure?? not a place I would go to again or recommend to anyone. When we checked out, the woman asked how everything was and I said “ ehhh. It was fine.” She didn’t say anything else after that. Photos of our food, the people surrounding and leaving on the booth I was sitting in and the article that lead us that direction.

Good food decent portions. The wait to get a table wasn’t too long but once seated took about 30 mins for the food to arrive for a party of 2. How ever the place was slammed soon as people get up they are filling the seats back up. Staff was nice . Food prices are NOT the same as listed on google that should be updated there’s a $3-4 difference. Food could have been a bit hotter for the wait time. I had toast come with my breakfast I was unaware they buttered it for you I wasn’t a fan of that. Overall good food and experience.

This quaint place was referred to us by another vacationer. And boy it did not disappoint. We loved everything we had. Staff is so kind and very prompt with their service. We come to Myrtle beach often and we will definitely be back again. If you love the feel of a moms and pops restaurant this is the spot.

Good Southern pancake house. Solid selection of breakfast items. The waffle with pecans had a generous amount of pecans on top. When you order coffee, they bring you an insulated pot. Bacon was crisp. Efficient, friendly service. Server called me "baby." No complaints.

We visited based on the great reviews and the claim for having the best pancakes. We drove from South beach just for a great breakfast, passing about 30 other pancake places on the way. The food was alright, pancakes were ok. Best part is the prices are low. However, the restaurant itself is not well kept. Everything seems dirty, especially the bathrooms, smelled like outhouses. We had to ask the waitress to wipe the syrup off table that was already set when we sat down. I'm not sure why all the 5 star reviews, this place really needs a makeover. I wouldn't go back.

We came here for breakfast on a busy Saturday morning. We'd tried a few other spots and they were all slammed, so we came to Plantation and still had to wait about a half an hour. One thing to know, they stop serving breakfast after 12pm, and they were warning folks who were getting on the list that they may not be seated in time to get breakfast. I was a little disappointed but it turned out we made it just in time for breakfast. This was a good thing, cuz I think their breakfast menu is much more interesting than lunch. I'd highly recommend targeting breakfast if you're going to come here. We were seated outside as it was the first available space. There is a decently sized inside as well, but we were happy to get seated anywhere. It was a bit warm on the patio but there was an umbrella over our table and it worked out fine. I got the chicken fried steak breakfast which I specified with scrambled eggs and hash browns, biscuit gravy, and a single biscuit. It was really good, it totally hit the spot and had lots of variety to it. We also got the crab cake Benedict, and the salmon benedict. Everyone else seemed to like their food as well. The coffee was also quite good. Overall. I'd say this was a solid experience and I'd recommend you come down if you're looking for an ice spot for breakfast.

We had about a 15 minute wait to get seated on a Saturday morning. My wife had the Creole skillet and I had eggs over easy with bacon and grits. Service was pretty fast and the food was good.

With so many options to choose from, we came here for the ratings. Disappointed. I ordered the smoked salmon Benedict. The salmon tasted days old, not fresh. Grapes didn’t appear fully washed and left a residue. Did not eat those. The best part of my dish was the fresh slice oranges and pineapple. For a place with 3 other locations, I would expect so much more quality.

This is a wonderful breakfast spot. The staff is very attentive to their customers. We did not have a reservation and were seated immediately. The food is sooo goood and prepared exactly how you order it!! It is well priced. The seating is good and in a good location. The parking can be a little tight based on the time of day!! Our server, Cesar is an amazing person!! He made the whole experience better!! We will definitely be back!!

Stopped for a quick breakfast but was disappointed. I had the classic eggs and bacon with toast and a fruit cup. The server was very nice but once I got my food she was no where to be found. I needed a fresh order of toast but finished eating before I waived her down. She knew the toast was bad and just reached for it without me asking. My water wasn’t filled even though it was empty. I got the new toast after I finished my eggs and breakfasts. Seems burnt toast should have never left the kitchen and if it did then the server should have returned it before giving it to the customer??!? Quality control starts in the kitchen but I would have never brought that to the table period!

I'm a fan of an Eggs Up grill everyday. The boyfriend and I stopped in here today for a late breakfast period Thursday 11 o'clock. We were seated right away, and our server was Riley was quick to bring our drinks and grab our order. We all enjoyed our meal and our server was great! However the lady who delivered our food got rude when my husband and cousin told her items on each of their plate was switched. She made a face and suggested that they just switch the food themselves. Other than that we had a good experience. Only waited about 20 min on a sat morning.

Love this place. The food is consistently good, so is the atmosphere and best ever service. I had the chipped beef on Texas Toast. My husband had an awesome 3 egg omelette. I have had many different selections over the years and have never been disappointed. Prices and portion sizes are also great. They serve both breakfast and lunch when they are opened.

Stopped on the way out for one last meal with the family, ordered the southwestern omelet with Grits and toast, side of sausage, and soda. Others in my party ordered the Salmon Benedict, Hash omelet, Florentine Benedict, and pancakes. My food was okay, they forgot the Grits at first but quickly remedied that when prompted, it was the best tasting part of my meal. The food wasn't bad by any means, just very bland. Lots of hotsauce, salt and pepper, and butter was added to every dish. Our server Jinny was great, super nice and funny, the female owner/manager (?) seemed to just want to get people in and out as quick as possible. Would I go again, sure. It was reasonably priced, quickish, and filling.

We came to Southern Sunrise after going to two other places with a long wait. We came to Southern Sunrise and only had to wait about 10 min for a party of 9. Our waitress Ksenia was wonderful and polite. She made sure we had a great experience. The food was great and fresh. Everyone enjoyed their food. I recommend coming here.

My family and I have been going here for over 15 years. I adore the Greek salad and the banana French toast. There are hundreds of breakfast places in MB. This is the BEST. I really love the one heavy metal server guy too. He’s just a great person.

Located right across the street from the beach and within walking distance from our room, we decided to try this place before we left for home. We were greeted at the door with a smile, and seated quickly. The waitress was quick to take our order and breakfast arrived fairly quickly. The food itself was a little sub par. The potatoes had to be the worst. They were greasy and lacked flavor. The pancakes were so gritty, we named them sandcakes! Although the location and service is fantastic, I probably will not return here based on the food. If you do stop here, plan on spending $40-$45 for 2 people.

The food was delicious except for philly cheesesteak sandwich(too dry steak) and the overall experience started out great. However, while I was eating, a baby cockroach crawled onto the table right next to my food. The server noticed it and she squashed it with her hand. How brave she is... Place is very welcoming and has quick service! The French Toast and other breakfast foods are delicious. Tons of different breakfasts on the menu. Floor and seats are always clean. Staff is very nice and friendly. I recommend coming here for breakfast if your staying in a hotel around!

I went here the other day to have breakfast. Upon arrival, there were at least 20 people ahead of me in line and the line went out of the door. Once I got to the front of the line, I ordered the Denver Omelet which came with toast and home fries. The taste of the Omelet was a tad bit below average. The home fries were overcooked, mushy and bland. I won't completely write this restaurant off because there are a ton of people who love it. But my experience wasn't the best.

We love Harbor Town Bakery! We stayed in Harbor Town and got coffees everyday and they were amazing! Also highly recommend the cinnamon bun and the chicken and waffles. We will definitely be back!

Waited only 15 minutes for food which was great compared to how long the line was. Cold brew is okay. Definitely a fun spot for vacationers though.

Arrived with a party of 8 on a Saturday around noon. The place was busy; however, the host was able to accommodate us in under 10 minutes. Our server, who I do not remember, was a tall, slender gentleman with white hair. He was nice and seemed knowledgeable. Most of the girls ordered Bloody Marys (pictured) and I just got a soda water with lime as they have Pepsi products. I ordered the BLT, and upon asking questions about the bread I found that they do NOT make their bread in house? The menu states house made bread so whoever updates the menu might want to correct it as it is misleading. I’m pregnant and needed food accommodations, like ensuring my bacon was cooked crispy and swapping arugula lettuce for romaine. When the sandwich came out, it did not have the sauce and I was missing my fries. Luckily it came out relatively quick so I finished making the sandwich and cut it myself. The flavors were good! Our server made sure we had everything we needed. Overall it was a solid visit, but I would definitely ensure your menu is updated.

I ordered a basic breakfast and it was fine. I didn't care for their coffee... it was a little bitter/acidic for me..... which i really wanted a great cup of coffee... so maybe why I didn't give higher rating:( The place had a cozy, comfortable feel to it. Went here for Brunch. Very experienced, friendly, and attentive staff. This one of several branches in the Charleston area, the first opened in 2005 and it has been awarded many accolades across multiple platforms for its brunch. It was busy, but not packed when we arrived around 10:00. There was a short line/wait when we left around 11:00. Food was decent, we had “New Orleans Beignets” which were fried, served with powdered sugar and fresh preserves ($10), they will not look like what you’d traditionally see (see photo), and a purist might be disappointed. We also had the Steak and Eggs, which included an 8oz butcher cut steak, (great cut) with two eggs prepared to your choice ($21), with toast and a choice of potatoes or grits… I recommend the potatoes, they were the best thing I had at this meal. Finally, ordered the Blue Crab and Shrimp Low Country Omelette ($23)… pleased to see it was real crab meat and not imitation. It included pepper-jack cheese, sautéed mushrooms, green peppers, tomatoes. This also came with grits, which was the most disappointing part of the meal, especially since this restaurant is known for them. They were lumpy and dry. The value for money is tough here as it is across the country, but particularly so in Charleston, at this time. Specifically, you receive a 3% service charge whether you use a credit card or not, often regardless of the swipe fee charged by the credit card company, at least that was the case here. Sales tax also varies, it was 10.9% here. If you don’t tip on tax, and are a middle-of-the-road tipper for good service (~18%), nearly a third of your bill are fees. We paid $84 for two people, no alcohol.

Drink order was wrong! Took almost a 40 minutes for our food. Crab Cake Benedict was absolutely disgusting! Over done poached eggs (they should never be hard unless requested,) only a teaspoon of hollandaise sauce, crab cake was burnt! When asked by our waitress how the food was, she didn't care at all that we weren't satisfied. Ignored us for the rest of the meal. Y'all need to do better.

Cute little coffee shop with outrageous prices on breakfast sandwiches. $14 for a bacon, egg, & cheese bisket with small bag of kettle chips! Highway robbery! If you want to pay $45 for coffee & simple breakfast for two people then stop in. The prices were shocking for breakfast, pays to look around for a better deal. We did have great service!

Nice quiet location. Not super busy and quick, friendly service. We vacationed here and after a morning walk in the beach we wanted to stop for coffee and pastries. We all agreed we would rate this place as average. Nothing really stood out. The coffee was good but the banana bread and muffin were not my favorite. Banana bread has some type of spice that overpowers the banana flavor and the muffin was dry. Nice experience, but not a place I’d visit again.

I've passed this place so many times and have always wondered what it looks like on the inside. I'm glad I finally was able to stop and enjoy not only the food, but the atmosphere. This little stop-in gourmet cafe is perfect for any college student to businessman. It's busy with traffic constantly coming in and out but the good kind of hustle and bustle. I ordered a customized sandwich and was not disappointed! Their bagels are also from Ruby's , which I absolutely love! Highly recommend!!

Found this gem on Mother’s Day while visiting Charleston. We ordered 4 different sandwiches - BLT on sourdough, BYO Turkey, BYO Herb Grilled Chicken, BYO Herb Grilled Chicken on gluten free bread. All were delicious! I highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

Ryan Bishop at Caviar & Bananas provided outstanding service! We were running late from Georgia and had trouble ordering online, but he personally took our order over the phone and made sure everything was delivered to our yacht on time. The food was excellent — especially the caviar — and Ryan’s kindness and professionalism made the whole experience seamless. Highly recommend!

they do everything BUT get your order right. this isn’t my first time getting the wrong sandwich. on top of constantly getting my food wrong, they charge 11% in taxes. if you use a card, add 3% more. and including a tip, the lowest they offer is 10% so in total it’s 24%. by the way, one of the mandatory taxes is literally “hospitality tax”. thats basically a mandatory tip. on the occasion that you do actually get the correct food item you order, the food is decent. oh and the kitchen closes at around 3:30 pm (why so early).

A favorite spot when I'm walking in Charleston. Fresh, and tasty options. This time I had the Baja salad. Highly recommend!

I ordered catering from Caviar &Bananas and would do so again if I'm ever hosting in Charleston again. Ryan, the catering organizer, was quick with responses and texted me the morning of to confirm everything was good to go. Julia delivered the food early and helped set it all up. The food was delicious, especially the kale salad and the tofu. I could eat this every day! Thank you C&B for your help in making our event successful!

Our go to spot for both breakfast and lunch catering for office meetings. They have a great variety, delivery is always on time, and setup is easy. Ryan and his team are a pleasure to work with - they make the entire process absolutely seamless.

Adequate, that's what I'd call this place. It's like walking back in time, it felt like it was 1992 in there. They need to re decorate. I ordered take out in the morning. They make a very good egg and bacon sandwich, but it's more bread than egg. There is plenty of bacon though. We also went back for happy hour, their drink specials were good, $5 well drinks and the such. But the cheese sticks were cold in the middle.

Convenient spot located at the Caravelle Resort that is open to the public. Grab some yummy fresh bar style food and adult beverages at reasonable prices. Jill behind the bar was Spectacular. Their burger and fries were excellent !!! * Off season hours may very.

The dinner food was really good. Typical bar fare, but the atmosphere and staff were amazing. We sat outside to eat, and Dylan had our drinks refreshed immediately in the summer heat. Our food came out quickly, with everything we ordered. Dylan was friendly and helpful, and even though he seemed to be the only staff member on site, he was able to give us plenty of attention. It wasn't busy, and the chill atmosphere made us want to stick around. After finishing our meal, my teenagers played pool and darts, while my middle schooler played arcade games. Definitely a nice little spot to hang out with the family after a day on the beach.

I came here years ago and the place was a resounding 4 star maybe a 5. The food was great the atmosphere in there was amazing. Fast forward to this review..... i do not know what happened. The food is decent..... but honestly Waffle House would do you better for less money. When I went there was no cereal. The sausage tasted awful... I mean i literally have no comparison for this place. The eggs were decent.... the only saving grace. I did get an omelet and I asked for no cheese.... still got cheese on it anyways and was so disappointed I just left. (I had a breakfast ticket). This place is not worth the time and money until the good food comes back. Not worth a single penny.

Very warm. Doesn't feel like AC works. The breakfast buffet was disappointing. I could've went to McDonald's. The bacon was hard, frozen pancakes, sausage under cooked, charge almost 4 bucks for drinks, the potatoes taste like grease, and they do auto gratuity no matter how many people. There is a weird smell. Probably from bathroom. The atmosphere is nice. Oh and they charge %3.25 to use you card. The staff was nice and friendly. Very underwhelmed.

Wishing I had read reviews prior to our visit. We are staying next door and were low on groceries so we went for the breakfast buffet. It was disappointing, it's kind of like the free breakfast at Holiday Inn. I'm amused by these internet pictures of chefs making omelets, as we had a teenage boy making them. I asked for ham and cheese. The unmelted cheese was on the inside, the ham on the outside, it did provide a nice laugh for our morning. We considered having dinner there another night of our stay except that last night we stopped to sit on their patio before heading up to our room, and we saw several large cockroaches. Very concerning.

We decided to go down for breakfast & quickly regretted it. It’s a continental hotel breakfast but instead of it being continental it was $60 for a family of 4 (two adults & two young children). We also ordered water because drinks are almost $4 a piece. I refuse to spend $16 on drinks that we will probably only drink half of. They charge you a 15% gratuity right off the rip as well. There was no way to make oatmeal, no milk for cereal, the eggs were empty, along with the bacon. The French toast was hard as a rock & the sausage links were dried out from sitting on the bar for too long. I can’t speak on the waffles or omelettes but I assume they are just basic hotel waffles. Just trust me and don’t waste your time.

Wanted pancakes on last morning. Service was welcoming and very efficient. Decor is mom and pops and seats are old but clean. Menu is basic and food is what is expected at a mom and pop pancake house. Food was seasoned well and pancakes had great flavor. Would come back again.

Ordered the Carolina Omlette , with home fries . It was ok in flavor , seems a tad small to normal in size .Toast was ok, home fries not great . Girlfriend ordered the Carolina special which was pancakes , eggs and bacon . Pancakes were ok very thick and heavy. Bacon was a joke . 2 others in our group ordered pecan pancakes w side of bacon and hash browns . Server was funny and talkative but she never came back to check on us after dropping our food , wanted a coffee refill it took over 15 minutes to get either . Girlfriend eggs were runny we asked for medium w no runny whites we got over easy. All the food was average to below in flavor and quantity . Bacon was smallest size I’ve ever seen 2 tiny broken strips (see pic) . Again by the time she came back everyone else was done . Not sure if she was overworked she was attentive when she was here , it was getting her to our table that was the issue. Definitely not coming back on our stay . Edit , we found out they were 3 ppl short the day we came so I don’t want to be too hard on our server she was nice and attentive . The food there is not great. Very wierd gummy texture to both the hash browns and home fries .

I am not a fan of the cafeteria style atmosphere, and they are obviously short staffed. Seems like it's a bit chaotic when they get a little busy. I absolutely love a great breakfast, and this was our first attempt at this place. Unfortunately, it is definitely our last. The food is aweful, honestly. I ordered a 3 stack of banana pecan pancakes, and they actually put the banana in the batter and cooked it in with the pecans. This made them taste awful. The bacon was less than asked for, and the hash browns had a less than desirable taste. I'm sorry, but I just don't know how else to put it.

Really close to the hotel strip. We chose this place because it was closer. The building is really outdated and needs some upgrades. Breakfast was OK and arrived quickly. The coffee was awful and that was such a disappointment. Our waitress was super kind and attentive though!

We only went here cause our favorite spot had a line out the door. Turns out we should have waited. The quality of the food was terrible and I'm pretty sure the waitress made my breakfast. The sign outside said best French toast which was very misleading. If you order a skillet it comes in the skillet they cooked it in. Not going back.

Delicious!! Everything was great! Pancakes were yummy, huge order of biscuits and gravy that were yummy! Meat lovers skillet and French toast were great too. Waitress and staff were very friendly and attentive! We even went back the next morning!

I have a lot to say about this place. First time eating at this location, food was excellent…I can’t complain about the food (hit the spot) however, service was horrible! Wasn’t very busy, most tables were finishing up or left. Our waitress only came over to take the order that was it. No refills, didn’t check on us, never brought us the check. After waiting for a bit I walked up to the counter to pay and our waitress said “you don’t have your ticket” then she asked “how was everything” worst service I’ve had in a long time.
