Restaurant
Sawyer's Farmhouse Breakfast is a charming, locally owned restaurant in Pigeon Forge that has gained popularity for its classic American breakfast offerings. The menu features a variety of mouthwatering options such as crepes, Belgian waffles, and made-from-scratch pancakes with delicious syrups and compotes. Additionally, they serve lunch items like burgers, sandwiches, and salads all day long.
Heather was awesome! Would definitely request her. The bacon was crispy, the eggs were cooked perfectly, the house potatoes were great, the sausage was good, the country ham could have been a little more cooked and the pancakes or the syrup was a little weird. Overall this is a great place for breakfast.
Tina W — Google review
We found Sawyer’s on the last day of our visit to Pigeon Forge last year. It was delicious and the staff were amazing. This year we made sure to visit the restaurant on the first day and several times throughout our visit. Each time the food was amazing, the service was impeccable, and the restaurant was very clean. Even when they were busy, they moved down the seating list quickly so the wait time was very minimal. Chloe, Lisa, Misty, & Paige all were great waitresses each time we ate there while in PF. This is definitely a must-visit restaurant! We will be back!
Christie L — Google review
Great spot for breakfast in Pigeon Forge! The portions are decent, the food is tasty, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It does get busy, so be prepared for a wait, but it’s worth it once you’re seated.
Ada A — Google review
We liked the ambiance. It was decorated nicely. Our waitress was really nice. The food was great and they gave you plenty to eat. I ordered the Mountain Man Breakfast and my wife ate my pancakes (don’t like pancakes) and ordered a side of bacon and home fries and we still could not eat all our food
Edwin A — Google review
The food here is fantastic. We enjoyed the crepes, biscuit and gravy, and more! Coffee is delicious. Heather was a server and she was friendly and helpful in choosing menu item. I will come back again.
Jacquelynn B — Google review
Our server, Paige, was great. The banana foster french toast is the best I've ever had. Long wait to get a table but highly worth it. Just walk over to shops next door to kill time.
Katarina N — Google review
We come to Sawyer’s a few times every trip! The food is always amazing and Gage, our server, was hilarious! Always so good! Hands down the best breakfast spot in the Smokey’s! Don’t pass this one up! You won’t regret it!
Jeanie F — Google review
We stopped here on July 4th for breakfast and oh my goodness! There was no wait for a table and we were seated as soon as we walked in. Gage was our server and he was an absolute joy. The food was great! I got an omlete and it was delicious. If you are ever in Pigeon Forge and want not only some great food, but an amazing culinary experience, come to Sawyer's...you will NOT be disappointed!!

Restaurant
Nestled in a complex with country cooking eateries, pottery, candy, and toy shops, The Old Mill Restaurant is a haven for soul-satisfying Southern comfort food. It's renowned as one of the most popular restaurants in the Great Smokies region. Despite potential wait times, visitors are assured that their breakfast will be worth it. The restaurant is known for serving insanely large portions and is recommended for those with hearty appetites.
We had to wait for about 30 min but it’s well worth the wait. Very nice size portions almost everyone took food home in the place. They don’t have liquor or beer license so pregame lol. Reasonable prices great food. A few floors of tables and tons of people working so service is fast. Gotta have the bread ball’s they serve as breads for the table.
Robert P — Google review
The old Mill is one of the restaurants that lived up to all of the hype! It was so delicious we went twice, and you WILL NOT leave hungry! The corn fritters and chowder were AMAZING, the chicken and dumplings were super good, the pot roast was tasty, and the desserts were to die for. Plus service was great and they were easy going, I don't like salad so I was able to get a cup of fruit instead (wasn't exactly listed as a side but they accommodated. Whether your here early or late your going to wait, but it was nice that they quoted an hr and both times we only waited like 40 mins at most.
Karen B — Google review
We went around 1:30 pm for lunch and had no wait! From all the reviews and word of mouth, was told food was amazing. The fried chicken was superb, but the green beans and mash potatoes were lacking flavor. Mashed potatoes reminded me of boxed potatoes. The chicken n dumplings were good. I was under whelmed with the corn fritters, I was hoping for more of a hushpuppy and flavor. It's basically fried dough. They serve it with maple butter. I am not a fan. The fritter tasted better dipped in the vegetable and corn chowder soup. The soups were good. The corn chowder was better than I expected and had a lot of flavor. It was a mix between gravy and soup. The portion size was generous and we left with Togo boxes. The lunch entrée didn't include dessert.
Bridget L — Google review
Wow, another great meal. We loved our late lunch yesterday at the Old Mill Cafe, so today we did a late lunch at the restaurant. Fantastic. Valeria did a wonderful job and I can't wait to return to the area to eat here again. I had the open faced turkey sandwich with beef gravy and fries. The restaurant portions are more than the cafe's but cost about a dollar more. Well worth it. No wait for seats, either. Military discount is much appreciated, too.
Martey M — Google review
Fantastic and Beautiful Restaurant , highly recommend. This was our first time as we're traveling on vacation. I've been in the area 5 days and wished I'd found it sooner. We had a great table overlooking the water on the second floor. My husband had prime rib cooked perfectly for humans I had turkey and stuffing meal with fried okra , mashed potatoes, greenbeans, corn chowder soup. For desert we had blackberry cobler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The blackberry cobler was Amazing ,in fact the best I've ever had !! I have to say they have alot of great staff and our waitress Cheslee D was spot on with refills and checking on us, very polite, great at multitasking, she's good for your business. Our meal price included desert, soup and salad and really good portions. 30.99 for 8 oz prime rib, baked potato, green beans ,garden salad and a cup a soup plus desert...Outstanding food 😋 Outstanding service.
Michelle H — Google review
My wife and visiting in town decided to try this place, based on good reviews. Well it was actually pretty good. I had the omelette as pictured and the wife had the classic breakfast which is a sample of all the classics. The only thing the small pancakes were served cold. Other than that it was pretty good, in fact the grits were pretty good too, and I do recommend. It's not a place I would go to every day, but I do give it a good review. Prices were pretty reasonable as well. 👍
Jeremy G — Google review
There was a long wait to dine at this restaurant. We gave our name and waited over 30 minutes for them to call us in the loud speaker. While we waited, we browsed the adjoining gift shop. They have so many fun and unique things for sale. When they finally called our name we went back to the restaurant and we were seated. I ordered liver and onions. My companion ordered fried chicken tenders. Both meals came with seasoned green beans, mashed potatoes, corn chowder. While we wait for our meals, we were brought some sweet fried things. They looked like hush puppies but they were better than that. So good. Our whole meal was delicious and definitely worth the wait.
L C — Google review
Great place to get some amazing southern comfort food. A little bit of a wait but they have a general store you can explore while you’re waiting. We had the southern fried chicken legs and pork chops. Fried perfectly and served with their corn fritters, corn chowder, side salads, green beans and mashed potatoes. For dessert we had pecan pie and blackberry cobbler.

Brick and Spoon in Pigeon Forge is a popular restaurant known for its classic American dishes, Southern hospitality, and charming interior. Excellent place to start off you day.. Big portions with great prices. Ordered a "breakfast sandwich" with sausage, egg, cheese, and bacon on a biscuit with a side of potatoes. The new server "Alexis" was great. This place has quality food and hires the best Staff.. You will enjoy and I recommend.. - get you a "D-breakfast sandwich special" and enjoy the day.!!!

One word...SWEET! Brick and Spoon has a wonderful menu filled with both sweet and savory options but we went with sweet this time and do not regret it! My husband got the French toast sticks and said they were delicious 😋 but the star of the morning was my meal which was the bananas foster French toast! This did not disappoint 👏 from the bananas to the foster sauce to the pecans it was a flavor explosion! The coffee was decent, especially compared to the hotel coffee I had earlier in the morning. Our server (whose name I cant remember but he looked like a body builder) was attentive and very nice. Food came out quick and came out hot. Even though the place was packed, we had no wait to get a table and it wasn't so loud that you couldn't talk. 10/10 would go again!
Amanda B — Google review
We love this place! It is a must anytime we visit Pigeon Forge. Im not a Bloody Mary fan but looking at the ones they make are amazing. The mango mimosa is my favorite. The food is amazing! I haven't had anything i dont like there.
Rebecca H — Google review
Best food during our whole trip. The beignets weren't overly sweet and came with great flavorful fruit. The biscuits with the Bayou Benedict were very soft and fluffy. The dining room is a large open area, but not too loud.
Kristine T — Google review
Absolutely disgusting french toast, all it was was tiny pieces of white bread toasted with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Not french toast. No egg, nothing it was unbelievably underwhelming. They didn't even devein the shrimp so we couldn't even eat half of the shrimp that came in the omelette, service was ok I think they were just so busy it was hard for them to be there everytime we wanted something. Extremely disappointing, it was the furthest thing from french toast or "good". They also came out freezing cold so the butter wouldn't even melt, all it did was tear up the bread since it was only toasted. I would not recommend this place for ANYTHING.
Tiffani C — Google review
We had a delightful experience at Brick & Spoon today. We were seated immediately, about 5 minutes after we ordered our food was presented to us. The presentation of the food was wonderful and the taste was immaculate. We had the opportunity to enjoy bananas in pajamas and some wonderfully prepared French toast.
Natalie C — Google review
Unique breakfast/lunch and drinks spot. Very original ingredients for lots of flavor. French toast sticks were excellent, but kinda expensive for what they are. The breakfast tacos are a pretty good, brain expecting savory but getting sweet is a little hard to get used too though. The Killer Creole omelet was just ok, but I'm not a fan of holllandaise sauce, and some of the shrimp weren't all the way cleaned. Their own hot sauce is decent, basically a Cholula sauce. Coffee is basic, service was really slow at start with almost no one in the restaurant. Mixed drinks look good, but didn't get any. Cheap hard metal chairs unfortunately.
Jay — Google review
Food was really good and not super expensive. The team cooking and delivering our food was very welcoming and the food came out rather quickly!!! The only thing I can say negative about this place is it is smaller on the inside and we was rather close to other tables making it feel like we was dinning with them as well.

Diner
American restaurant
Mel's Classic Diner is a retro-style eatery in Pigeon Forge, offering generous portions of classic American diner food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The 1950s ambiance with vintage cars and rock and roll music creates a nostalgic atmosphere. The menu features home-cooked meals like chicken and dumplings, hand-breaded catfish, burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, chili, and more.
Food was incredibly fresh and delicious. We came to eat here as it was highly touted by our friend Brooks. We were NOT disappointed. Philly cheese steak was delicious and fresh. My wife's cheeseburger was terrific and the fries hot and crispy just like we love them. Great waitress Samantha was a pleasure and very helpful. We finished with an out of this world Banana Split which we shared that was heavenly!! We highly recommend Mel's!!!

Mel’s Diner in Pigeon Forge is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re transported straight back to the golden age of classic diners — shiny chrome accents, cozy booths, jukebox tunes, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food is everything you want from a true American diner and more. Their burgers are juicy and perfectly cooked, piled high with fresh toppings and served with crispy golden fries that taste like they came straight out of the 1950s. Breakfast here is a must-try too — fluffy pancakes, perfectly cooked eggs, and thick slices of bacon that are pure comfort on a plate. And you can’t leave without trying their milkshakes; they’re rich, creamy, and come in all the nostalgic flavors you dream about. What really sets Mel’s apart is the service. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to make your experience special. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or bringing the whole family for a fun meal, you’ll be treated like a regular. Between the unbeatable prices, the delicious food, the retro atmosphere, and the old-fashioned hospitality, Mel’s Diner is a must-visit spot in Pigeon Forge. It’s more than just a meal — it’s a slice of Americana you’ll want to come back to again and again
Robert J — Google review
After visiting Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg, we decided to go to Mel’s Diner for dinner. For my meal, I ordered the country fried steak, which comes with two sides and Texas toast. I chose mac and cheese and fried okra for my sides. I thought that the country fried steak was crunchy, peppery, and hearty. The mac was extremely cheesy, the way mac should be. The okra and toast were just like any other. My cousin got the James Works burger, which is topped with chili, bacon, and mushrooms with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. He got it with no mushrooms and enjoyed it. My cousin’s girlfriend got the biscuit and gravy with two eggs and bacon. She loved it. My dad got the bacon cheeseburger, and he thought it was delicious. My mom got the Cajun burger and enjoyed it. Overall, I would highly recommend going to Mel’s for a delicious meal.
Derek — Google review
It was ok. Service was good. Food wasn’t anything to talk about. Grilled cheese had 3 pieces of bread but cheese was thin and cold. Bake beans were pork n beans. Big dog hot dog gets 2 topping. Asked for relish and got 3 little packets. Dog tasted good. Bread was old

Honestly this place doesn’t get mentioned enough for a must stop place in the area, but it should. I was so excited from the minute we pulled up and it was lit up bright in the night sky. What really sold my fiancée and I on this place was the waitress Dawn, who is OUTSTANDING and makes you feel like you are meeting a new friend even when she has several other tables. If this was a place back home for me, she would help sell it. The second selling point for this place was the milkshakes. Literally the best milkshake of my life. And the atmosphere is absolutely perfect. This is a must stop in the area for sure!

We sat at the bar and had Leah as our server. Dinner and a show as we watched the Werner’s collect their food for distribution and listened to Leah singing along with the songs. This is truly a Classic Diner. If that’s what you are looking for this is a great place.

Nicole was a GREAT server!! Even her notepad shows experience!! The service was tip top shape and she kept us Well Beveraged! Haha!! My Husband and I are Locals, and we were on a little “Redneck-Vacation” We decided To choose This Wonderful little Diner because it was open late and the food looked Great, after showing me the reviews, my Husband Told us to get in!! We got there after calling and making sure that they were still open and was immediately greeted with a smile. They got us quickly seated, and Nicole got us our drinks after figuring out what we wanted and looking at the menu we ordered and we’re waiting on our food. We waited about 15 minutes. When the food came out, it looked so clean and homemade! It tasted just as good. Love the atmosphere of this little place. We will be back! The nachos are phenomenal! They are a must have! The Philly cheesesteak is also very good. However, the buns were cut completely through so it was hard to keep the contents in. Everything was cooked how we requested it for our little guy too!! We will be back!! Thanks Nicole for your Great Attitude and 5 STAR SERVICE!! My Recommendations: -the Nachos are banging!!! -the Phillycheese steak is Delicious Pros: -Good parking -Kid Friendly -GREAT MUSIC -Easy Order Classic Menu! -Decent Prices -Lively Environment -Open late Cons: -Don’t go in in a swimsuit, you’ll get dirty looks from some of the girls that work there lol. (One Host with brown hair…) -the bathrooms are a little hard to find at first Thanks! -The Kanevski’s

Flapjack's Pancake Cabin is a rustic dining spot that has been serving up homestyle breakfast and lunch plates since 2001. The restaurant is famous for its Sticky Bun pancakes, featuring a mouthwatering combination of cinnamon-swirled pancakes, pecans, and cream cheese icing. In addition to this signature dish, there are plenty of other fun pancake flavors to choose from, such as Reese's Peanut Butter Pancakes, Mixed Berry Pancakes, and Chocolate Chip Pancakes.
Amazing!! First time here and it was so cozy and cute. My waitress was so sweet and kind. Everyone in there was nice. Food was excellent and a good price. Would absolutely come back and recommend!!! Thank you🥰

On a Sunday morning at 7:15 you can walk right in and be seated and eating 10 minutes later. I’m sure you’ll be waiting for a seat if you’re a late riser. Our service was excellent, the food though was only good. I did like the fact that the syrup was warmed, for me that really helps pancakes. The menu has a nice assortment of selections to choose from, but this is a smaller restaurant than an IHOP and so is the menu selections. I would be willing to eat here again on my next visit to the area.
Ken — Google review
Food was alright. We got two griddle dishes with eggs and sausage. Both dishes came with 2 buttermilk pancakes. Pancakes were nice and fluffy. Will note the sausage was very small. No over-the-top flavors but overall not bad.
Avinash — Google review
Service was fine - I was seated swiftly by a friendly host about half an hour before close. Waitress was nice, coffee was old/burned but hot, and food came fairly quickly. Unfortunately that’s where it began to decline. The sausage gravy was awful, by far the worst I’ve ever had - thin, more like warm milk or cream than anything resembling a respectable gravy. It was generally flavorless, and with hardly any sausage. The biscuit the gravy underneath was dry and too salty. The “upgraded” banana nut pancakes were supposed to be cinnamon pancakes but were clearly just the standard buttermilk, just with sliced banana and a sprinkle of normal (not candied) pecans on top, not inside the pancakes. Last, the syrup on the table was not warm, and was just standard corn syrup-based. The pancakes were decent and at least edible compared to the gravy. Overall, while the service was friendly and quick, I would not come back here, and after my visit I wished I’d just gone to Waffle House.
Grant A — Google review
It got a bit loud for a Monday morning; but there was no wait. The food was good, the portions large. The service was friendly and prompt. Took some pancakes back with us and enjoyed later. My son ventured to try the Reese’s peanut butter cup pancake; and he said it was even better than he hoped.
B.D. O — Google review
atmosphere was very welcoming!! just like a cozy cabin inside! for a party of 2 there was no wait! pancakes were delicious and not overly sweet!! it was definitely super busy even around lunch but not too busy to where we had to wait on our server for too long !

Flapjacks Pancake Cabin never disappoints! I ordered the dragon fruit juice, coffee, hash browns, and sausage patties—everything was absolutely perfect. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor, and the coffee hit just right. Even the dragon fruit juice was refreshing and unique. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and great service all around. Definitely a must-stop breakfast spot!

We had a good experience! Our breakfast was served quick, but we weren't thrilled with the coffee. My pancakes, as well as my wife's egg breakfast, was very good. She said that the hash browns were the best she ever had.

Southern restaurant (US)
Mama's Farmhouse is a renowned family-style restaurant in Pigeon Forge, TN, offering all-you-can-eat traditional Southern food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu features Mama's specialties like buttermilk biscuits, chicken tenders, Belgian waffles, and hash brown casserole. Known for its immersive Southern-style breakfast experience, the restaurant serves popular dishes such as grits, bacon, eggs, and fresh fruits.
Mama's Farmhouse was impressively clean and delicious. There is ample parking, with views of the Smokies and plenty of activities nearby. The waiting area is large and superbly clean. I don't think there was a speck of dust to be seen. There are nice rocking chairs outside also. I had a take-out order and was greeted by multiple staff members immediately. Everyone was very nice and helpful, and did not act inconvenienced at all when I needed to add a couple of things to my order. They have many homemade items for sale in the waiting/checkout area, including their own strawberry jelly/jam, and one other flavor that I can't recall (I think peach maybe). I forgot to get a photo, but my husband loved the banana pudding. I don't care for banana pudding, but I tried it at his request, and I'll admit that it was particularly good compared to one I had tried the day before. It definitely tasted like it was made with real bananas and good ingredients. It was obvious that they take pride in their restaurant and want to keep it nice. I overheard a manager or owner talking about traffic for later in the day, and trying to prepare for an influx of customers and large parties...He was already thinking ahead, and making sure they were staffed properly and that everything runs smoothly. Overall, it's a cute place with great food that feels like Grandma's country cooking. The fried okra was terrific, and the mashed potatoes and gravy were outstanding. There's plenty of seating, games and rocking chairs outside, toys for kids, and friendly employees.

Stopped in for brunch and noticed they had all you can eat. My husband ordered a Blue Plate Special and I opted for the buffet! 🫣 It was all brought to me!!! OMG! AMAZING! Was told I could order extra of anything that they had put on the table! Pic says it all!!! Best chocolate gravy! It was all great!! I promise that you will not leave hungry 🥰

Our family of 4 dined here on a Saturday night and this was our experience. Atmosphere: This place is full of southern charm. The farmhouse appeal is carried with detail throughout. We especially liked the two ceiling fans linked on a pulley system. There are photo op spots around the property outside with a face-in-hole board, rocking chairs, old trucks, and even a tractor. Game Space: We loved that this restaurant had a little outdoor game area for those that were waiting. After dinner we enjoyed a game of hooks, but there was also ping pong, corn hole, and a large scale connect four and a checkers board. Food: Dinner on Saturday night included fried chicken, country fried steak, and ham. We also rotated through sides of chicken & dumplings, mac & cheese, green beans, hush puppies, and sweet potato casserole. The chicken was lightly breaded and moist, the cubed steak was tender, and the ham was ok but nothing special. All of the sides were good - especially the biscuits and strawberry jam! The chocolate cobbler desert was very fabulous, but the banana pudding was disgusting. The bananas weren’t ripe enough and it didn’t have a traditional wafer texture. Disappointment for my kids who really love banana pudding. Service: Noe was a great server! She kept drinks topped off and had dinner refills replenished quickly.

Wait time to be seated wasn't bad but once seated we told our waitress what sides we wanted in hopes it would make things go quicker. It didn't we waited 40min or more for our food. When it finally came out we asked to have another order put in since it was all you can eat and the waitress gave us attitude. The serving sizes brought for 3 people were laughable. The starter was supposed to be one for each person but we only got one total. I had to ask for knives which weren't brought. When the manager came over and we told him what was going on and he told waitress we needed knives and she told him we didn't ask. He put in 2nd food order but overall food was lacking. Chicken was dry, potatoes extremely lumpy, country fried steak was salty and overcooked and was more like salisbury steak texture than cube steak. The banana pudding was more like fluff than cream. We tried this location because we love the Alamo which is a sister restaurant but we will never be back to Mama's again. Waitress was Keyona.

Really enjoyed this place. It is similar to Paula Deen’s but better as they let you swap out your sides after you start with the initial 4. The fried chicken and fish were delicious. The biscuits with strawberry glaze you can put on them are scrumptious. The Mac and cheese, taters and dumplings were great. The peach cobbler was good and comes with a scoop of ice cream. The corn on the cob was awful, dried out and old, we went for lunch I suspect it was from the night prior. The chocolate cobbler didn’t taste good, not a brownie or pudding I tried it but it wasn’t for me some folks may love it. The summer salad was a small bowl of little tomatoes mostly.

Had my 60th birthday party here. Food was wonderful! Staff didn't think before setting hot dishes in front of the baby. And then he almost spilled ham juice down my niece's back. Thankfully he missed. Other than those two issues, service was great. The food was delicious! Loved the fried chicken!

I thought the hype about this place meant they'd have the best-tasting soul food breakfast, $17 per person, served family-style. But they didn't have a tasty breakfast; it was just really cheap, dry food served. The chicken tender isn't good, the eggs come from a premix box, the biscuits are dry and not the best, bacon is bacon, and the sausage patty... They're all cheap frozen packaged foods and they had a funky smell from the plate and bowl, and that's what you get for breakfast. I don't understand the high rating; they could have done it better. The restaurant is really dirty. Paula Dean was very good when try the first time there.

Frizzle Chicken Cafe in Pigeon Forge is a family-friendly venue featuring over 100 singing animatronic chickens and serving hearty American breakfast and lunch. Located next to The Comedy Barn Theater, this unique dining experience offers a delightful combination of entertaining animatronics and delicious breakfast options. The menu includes must-try items like chicken and waffles, cinnamon roll pancakes, biscuits and gravy, as well as kid-favorites such as chicken tenders, hamburgers, and grilled cheese sandwiches.
The food was on par with Cracker Barrel BUT the cinnamon pancakes were AMAZING. My daughter had to have some of mine because she didn’t want to mess up her bear pancakes! The waitress was so sweet and my kids LOVED the chickens/atmosphere. My only complaint is the price of some of those stuffed animals, but it was worth it when my kids were happy. We will absolutely return any time we visit the area again!

Went on a Monday morning ! Before 10 am. Was not too busy no wait for a table of 3. Located in PF , limited parking , central location easy to walk to. I will say that this restaurant is super cool. They have animatronic chickens that sing dance every 5 to 10 minutes that lasts about two. They have a small menu, but the food is very good. The service is even better something that could appeal to everybody. We had the big breakfast with the pancakes eggs sausage toast Chicken and waffles And chicken strips and french fries All the food was cooked very well and came out pretty quick. Our order was right. Our waitress did a great job making sure that our drinks were full and we didn’t need anything to go with our meals. The place is decor as a farmhouse. It also has a little gift shop section right in front where you can pick up a plushy to worry or T-shirt to remember your experience. Restaurant seemed very clean. They were very organized when it came to having people sit and holding tables and all of that type of thing it definitely did get busy when we left at 10:30. They had a line out the door.

Such a fun place to visit! We went here randomly while driving down the strip. There was a bit of a wait, but the food was worth it. The prices were fair, the food portions were big and the kid's pancakes were so cute. The atmosphere was nice and the musical/show happens every 20 minutes or so was cute and the kids loved it.

The singing chicken show was great entertainment for the kids. The portions were a big hit with everyone. Popular place but no waiting. So many choices but there were extra charges we didn’t catch and server didn’t tell us either.

Cinnamon roll pancakes were delicious! And so were the pumpkin pancakes! The eggs and sausage and home fries were good, nothing special there. The animatronic chickens are fun and all have funny names. And when they sing every 15-20 minutes it’s not too loud to where you can’t talk to the people at your table. Fun experience.
Blake W — Google review
Frizzle Chicken Cafe, hands down, has the best fried chicken this side of your grandma's kitchen! Excellent service from the friendliest wait staff, and the chorus of singing chickens is entertainment at its best! Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch that day!

For a gluten free person, this place is the best!! My family is not GF and they also loved it! I haven’t had a Belgian waffle since a couple of years since having to go gluten free so I was excitedly surprised that this place offers both GF waffles and pancakes!!! The GF waffle was SOOOOO good I ate every bit of it!! The eggs, potatoes, bacon, French toast, and anything else we had was very good as well! We loved the chicken entertainment and all the decor throughout the restaurant! Our server was great as was all the staff we saw and/or dealt with. My boys got some stuffed animals from there and they love them. We will definitely return to this place when we come back to town!

Family breakfast while on vacation, we chose here due to the dancing and singing chickens. Our waitress was nice and very helpful, made sure we never had an empty cup and all we needed. The food was hot and good. The kids enjoyed watching the chickens every 20 mins. Prices were reasonable.

Southern restaurant (US)
Paula Deen's Family Kitchen is a popular spot in the Smoky Mountains, offering hearty Southern cuisine served family-style. The restaurant is known for its laid-back atmosphere and generous portions of classic Southern dishes like fried chicken, pot roast, biscuits and gravy, and fried green tomatoes. Guests can enjoy breakfast treats such as pancakes, sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon, and creamy hashbrown casserole.
Unique dinning experience. You order for the table and get unlimited "refills" on each item. Delicious food; the starter garlic bread was crazy good. And don't get me started on how tasty the fried chicken was. Even the sweet tea was perfect. I recommend trying this spot out. Also, would also like to note the beautiful & clean atmosphere and welcoming staff, very mindful to those with a disability! 👍

The atmosphere was lovely with elevated views of the Island square. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was meh. On par with mid range buffet quality. The biscuits were fluffy and out of this world, unfortunately the rest was disappointing. The pork chops looked steamed and soggy. The meatloaf was almost overly tender and the tomato glaze tasted like plain ketchup. Everything from greens, gravy, and okra were too salty. Great experience, but overall I would pass on eating at Paula Deen's again.
Wild R — Google review
Service was great. Food was not good at all…..everything tasted like it came out of a box and just warmed. Like canned food. But the service was great. Also there was dripping all over the side of the dishes as they brought the food out. Presentation of food is very unappealing. The chicken dumplings taste like packet chicken soup and the sibling are way too chewy and rubbery. Creamy mashed potatoes taste like boxed potatoes. And Mac and cheese taste like craft Mac and cheese straight out the box.
Christiana A — Google review
Excellent food, and service! We went on a busy Sunday, and waited an hour. I'm not complaining, because we passed time on the Island until they texted when our table was ready. The gift shop was very nice, and affordable. The food was incredible! We ordered the 3 meal family dinner and had enough that we couldn't finish it all. We drank blueberry and strawberry lemonade that was so refreshing. The inside was nice and clean. We had a beautiful view of the island from the big windows, while sitting on the second floor. The only complaint I have is the restrooms are downstairs, and very small! So be sure to use the bathroom before being seated, otherwise you will have to take a trip back down the escalator.
Shonna N — Google review
The food alone would not bring me back, but the whole experience is what makes it a repeat! Dont get wrong, the food was good, but just your average food. It is served home style which is a nice way to get a little of everything verses what's usually just brought out on your plate. Being just my husband and myself, the basic pick plan was more then enough food with leftovers to spare. Your adventure starts when you arrive and check in (if you made a reservation). In the meantime the whole entrance floor is a store featuring many Paul Deen exclusive merchandise and great props for photo opportunities. When received a text after 10 minutes letting us know to make our way to the host stand. From there you are taken upstairs to the open dinning area. The view was great!! In this location you're overlooking the island and the famous Faris wheel. Made you feel like you were in the space needle in a sorta way. Our waiter was fast, and very friendly. We found ourselves chatting with other tables and comparing what dishes we each had tried. I would recommend, was had a great time. Thank you to all the staff and hopefully next time we're in town we'll see y'all again!

This was our second time eating here and enjoyed it just as much. It was fairly busy so I recommend making a reservation. It was a little slow once we were seated to see our server, but after that the drinks and food were quick to arrive. Food is bottomless. We got the fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, and fried fish. For our sides, we chose the creamed corn, green beans, Mac n cheese, and creamed potatoes. For me the highlights were the fried fish and green beans. Would return again!
Hanna H — Google review
The fish was good the chicken was ok. The quantity of food they serve even for one person is quite a lot. Although the taste could improve a bit, the cream corn was nice and the okra the rice could change to the mac and cheese. The lemonade was quite sweet, but the caramel cake was nice though.
Taslimm Q — Google review
We would give this place a 5 but our waiter Key was simply awful. Not sure he understands the gratuity system for tips, he had a poor attitude, was lazy and we had to ask for everything. Waited nearly 10 minutes just to take our drink and order. We saw the other waitstaff walk by a hundred times and him hardly ever. Couldn’t get more drinks, had to beg for seconds and we got the dessert which had no whipped cream or ice cream like everyone else’s did and we couldn’t get the dirty dishes off the table. As far as the food it was phenomenal. We have been to Paula Deen’s in Savannah and used to eat at the one in Foley Alabama routinely before it closed. Love Paula Deen’s wish the service was better for us.

We felt like there was no way all the reviews for this tiny place could be right but it's more than true! Breakfast was amazing the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had even better than my own grandma's. Hillbilly grit bowl was unique and the special reese's pancakes were huge and delicious without being too sweet. We would order all 3 things again. Service was fast friendly and this place is well worth the wait . We will be back!

Came in as 4 and was seated within 5 minutes even though they have a small amount of tables. Ordered the Grilled Cheese Philly and it was very flavorful full of cheese, steak, peppers and onions. We also ordered the pancakes and boy are they amazing even though they are thick they are light and fluffy and just as flavorful. There are many different types of pancakes you can get but all will be wonderful. The welcoming attitude was juat as wonderful as the food. Everyone should check this little cafe out the food is one of the best in Pigeon Forge.

When in TN you MUST EAT at Little Black Bear Cafe! The Hillbilly Grit Bowl was amazing. The owner Lynn is was so sweet and made us feel like family. The food was so yummy I had to go back for lunch before he closed! I was warned that he DOES NOT do food Togo… so I showed up with containers so I could enjoy a waterfall with my fiancé. He smiled and accommodates us ♥️. Thank you Little Black Bear Cafe for some fantastic food and being a part of my TN memories.

This place was very good. I would definitely stop by if you have the time. It is small, so large parties may not be able to be accommodated, however it is worth it. Our food was hot and fresh. My wife remarked that she's she hardly ever gets food so fresh that she has to wait to eat it. Extremely good. I would recommend to the Reuben. Note: they serve Pepsi products

This is a quaint, cozy café with a perfectly simple and delicious menu. I would call it more of a diner, which is exactly what we wanted at the time. (Note: They only serve regular coffee, so if you're going there for something fancy, it is not the place. I noticed he had to respectfully tell a couple of people that they are not a coffee shop). The biscuits and gravy were truly one of, if not the, best I've ever had. I wanted to put the gravy on everything, and that's not normally like me to do. I believe that he said they make their own in-house chocolate cream cheese, which they pipe into their version of a Bear Claw brownie dessert on the menu. That part of the dessert itself tasted fantastic, almost like a brownie batter. I didn't know what a Bear Claw was to begin with, but he made sure to note that the one they serve is their own version and differs greatly from a regular Bear Claw. You can even get a cute shirt in different sizes saying you survived eating it! I didn't feel that we earned the right to buy that shirt, though. But it was good! They do offer several other awesome souvenirs, and for only $3.99, I was able to take home a well-made keychain to remember our trip. I got the feeling immediately that the waiter was possibly also the owner. He seemed to take pride in the place, was friendly and quick to greet everyone, maintained good communication, and clearly very knowledgeable and well-rehearsed. Things to note: - The seating is limited. There were either 4 or 5 tables total, located on one side of the wall. Serving was quick, however, and no one seemed to wait very long at all. - The water is always self-serve, easily available in the soda dispenser machine across from the tables. - They do not bring a check to the table; you just come up and pay when you're ready. - They do have a single stall restroom, if needed. - Service is terrific; food was great; coffee was smooth. It's worth a stop if you're in the area! I'll definitely be back when I get a chance to go that way again.

The owner came out and greeted us himself, what a kind man! Our food was served hot and quickly and we devoured our bagel sandwiches. Great atmosphere—there are phone charging usb ports at the tables and it looks like they do free movie nights with snacks monthly. They also sell jam and relish which looks delicious.

Smoky’s Pancake Cabin is a charming, family-owned spot that serves up an array of creative pancakes, omelets, and sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. This Pigeon Forge favorite has been delighting diners for three generations with its unique pancake flavors like pineapple upside down, lemon berry, and banana split. In addition to their specialty pancakes, the restaurant also offers delectable options such as omelets, waffles, egg platters, biscuits and gravy.
Outstanding service... I grew up with 2 grandmother's from the south and their drop biscuits were some of the best I've ever had... The pancakes were very good especially the upside down pineapple cakes. The smoked sausage on the big Dave's breakfast was delicious 😋. They accommodated our group of 14 in less than 15 minutes. I would definitely come back. Our waitress was very good with kids and made great suggestions.

Haven’t been here in years. Great hometown feel. Anthony A served us great. Fiesta Omelette with pancakes great, the fire roasted peppers in it had some heat but I liked it. My wife had the Big Bear Breakfast and shared with me cause it was so much food. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage hashbrowns and biscuits/gravy. Pepsi products and coffee.

Jessica made our first visit to the Smokys absolutely memorable. It's not every day you meet such a friendly and down to earth server. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and even took the time to chat with us. The restaurant itself has a cozy, farm style atmosphere, and the menu is straightforward. Jessica recommended the pineapple cakes, and they were fantastic! I was really impressed by these warm, fluffy, and decadent cakes, packed with flavor and not overly sweet. They're definitely a must try if you're stopping by for breakfast. Everything else we ordered was great too, including the turkey patties and a single biscuit. The coffee was also good, just your classic diner style brew. But again, the real highlights were our waitress, Jessica, and the delicious pineapple cakes.

From sit down to food on the table, our wait was about 15 minutes. Our waiter was fast, friendly, and all around AWESOME. I had the mixed berry pancakes and they were very delicious. My husband had the Split Sausage and egg breakfast and he raved about how great his was as well. We were really impressed with our food, service, and how well run this restaurant is.

Pancakes were yummy! We did have a slight issue with service, but they resolved it. We ordered bacon & eggs as part of the same meal but to be plated separately (for 2 different people) and it arrived with the bacon on the same plate on top of the eggs. We asked for a new order of eggs because due to allergy concerns we couldn’t eat the eggs after they had bacon on them… they brought out the same exact eggs & bacon on separate plates instead of just making us new eggs. The manager ended up involved and we got some new eggs.
Ali — Google review
Even though they were busy we didn’t have to wait very long. Maybe 5 mins. The food was great and prices was about what you would expect for this area. Had some custom menu items like Carmel pumpkin waffles and pancakes which were very good.
Jesse P — Google review
If there were 10 stars, I would give this place 10! We went here FOUR times for breakfast out of the 10 days we were down here. Forget Crocketts and Pancake Pantry, they are NOWHERE near as good, and you have to wait into both those places (whether it's in line before opening or after they open and have a wait), and food is just over-hyped, but Smokys Pancake Cabin food is better by far. We don't have a lot of chorizo choices at home for breakfast so we got the fiesta omelette every time we went, but also split the 3 meat omelette once too. We did an upcharge for flavored pancakes each time and got the pumpkin cheesecake pancakes multiple times because they were just too good, but also the pineapple upside down, Lemon Berry, and strawberry cheesecake pancakes (all were phenomenal and cooked perfectly) and the service was amazing every day we were there. Not to mention the Collier group (who owns this and a handful of other restaurants in the area) gives you toast points that equates to $ off, so between the 6 of our family we got $20-$30 off from the visits there and to Roma Table. Also we only waited for a table twice (when we went around 10 am on a weekend) and longest wait was 15-20 mins.
Karen B — Google review
This is my new favorite breakfast spot! I’ll be dreaming about their food until we come back in town!!! Wish I wasn’t so far away! I do wish we got our high chair and ticket to payout a little faster, but they were busy! The food came out without a long wait. The kids bear waffle was very thin. It looks thicker than it is! The berry pancakes had an artificial tasting syrup. Not like the best ever, but the hashbrowns were the best I ever had. The bacon was the best I ever had. I did really like the pancakes, too. Probably would have gotten the cheesecake ones look back. I wish they did a combo of the cinnamon with the cheesecake. Totally worth it. Everyone left full and very happy from a yummy meal that was plated in a way that made everyone smile just by looking at it!

Busy busy fall weekend in Pigeon Forge, especially with all the car folks in town, but we got a table here in 10 minutes despite a full parking lot. Staff was great, food was GREAT! Some of the best pancakes I've had in a while. Omelette was delicious too and BIG. Place was packed and servers were attentive and kind. I definitely received this place for breakfast.

First visit. I tried the breakfast buffet. $13.99 is a very reasonable price. The bacon and the fresh pineapple were excellent. But the gravy is what you would find at any hotel breakfast, and the cinnamon rolls were almost inedible. Still, no complaints, there's plenty of good food. But I like a buffet so that I can try a variety of items, not because I want a large quantity of food. So for those of you like me, I recommend ordering fresh from the menu.

Reagan’s House of Pancakes is a fantastic spot for a delicious breakfast. The food is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, the scrambled eggs were fluffy and buttery, and the bacon was crispy with just the right amount of savory bite. Everything on the plate tasted like true homemade comfort food, the kind that starts your morning off right. The atmosphere has that cozy, classic breakfast-house charm, and the staff are warm and attentive, which makes the whole experience feel welcoming and relaxed. We eat our free breakfast here every year! I usually get the buffet. But you can't beat $7 after taxes. Not for all the food they give you. FRESH!!!! So hot you gotta give it a sec to cool. First time eating there. The breakfast buffet is the way to go. You can get anything you want on it. If I had any complaints at all it was the apples were cold. I had thought they were heated since they was in the middle of all the heated items. Our waiter was a hustler they was really busy when we was there but he kept his area covered. I definitely would recommend this place and we will be going back.

Cheap family Restaurant. Buffet has sausage, bacon, eggs, pancakes and the usual. They also have a menu to order from for smaller appetites. Buffet is $13.99 per adult. 8 think kid's were 8 or 9 dollars.

We visited Reagan's because our hotel included a breakfast voucher good for pancakes which you could upgrade to the buffet. The first day, I had pancakes. But after taking a look at the buffet, that's what we ordered for the rest of our stay. You could not possibly leave anywhere close to hungry, and that's not just from stuffing your face. There is something on that buffet for everyone. Leave room for a cinnamon roll or two, the vats of buttercream frosting are always full and hot. The red neon sign outside is a liar, though. It always says "Immediate Seating", the red glow illuminating the many people standing around outside, waiting for a table. :) :)

The menu features an array of breakfast options such as Egg Benedict, Omelettes, Waffles, Pancakes, and more served all day long. For lunch and dinner, enjoy sandwiches, burgers, and salads in a vibrant setting that captures the essence of 1950s American culture.
Sunliner Diner is such a fun and nostalgic place that truly transports you back to the 1950s from the moment you walk in. The décor is bright, colorful, and playful—complete with booths styled like classic cars and checkered floors that make the whole experience feel unique and memorable. It’s the kind of diner where you can’t help but smile just taking in the atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered a variety of breakfast dishes, and everything came out fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked. The omelets were fluffy and full of flavor, the hashbrowns were golden and crispy, and the portions were generous. The drinks were just as impressive—fun sodas and floats served in tall glasses that fit the retro vibe perfectly. Everything we tried tasted great, and you could tell the diner takes pride in both presentation and quality. But what really made our visit stand out was our waitress, Michaela. She was absolutely phenomenal—friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm from start to finish. Michaela went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and checked in often without ever making us feel rushed. She had the perfect balance of professionalism and personality that made the whole meal so enjoyable. You could tell she cared about her guests and took pride in giving great service. Honestly, Michaela alone is a reason we’d come back again! Overall, Sunliner Diner delivers on every level—fun atmosphere, amazing food, and outstanding service. If you’re in Pigeon Forge and looking for a memorable place to eat, this is a must-visit spot. Thank you to Michaela and the entire team for making our experience wonderful—we’ll definitely be back!

Such a cool place!! The wait wasnt long even though it was packed! We browsed the store while we waited. The food was amazing, especially the chocolate malt!! Our server was outstanding, he was new but clearly has good customer service skills. Our food was fast and we loved the menus! They look like old newspapers. Overall such a good experience even though we didnt get to sit in the cars that have booths built into them.

Such a cool atmosphere and great service! The owner was also there and he’s a blast. The food is fantastic — huge, huge portions so prepare for that! Our server was Spencer. He was so much fun and very informative. He was also very attentive and made sure we had a great time.

I can not say enough good things about this little diner! The Sunliner burger is the best burger I've had! The milkshakes are also really good and great if you want to feel like you're in a 1950s romance and share a milkshake with your love. My husband and I visited on our honeymoon and decided to go back 2 more times, once for brunch to try the breakfast and a third time to have the Sunliner burger again. Mia was our waitress tonight and she was beyond sweet and really funny! It was also great to see the staff enjoying the jukebox! My husband and I can't wait to come back sometime!

Super fun retro atmosphere, I love that the menus look like old newspapers. Mr. Sweet was our server and he's great. Food came out fast and delicious. My dad got the country fried chicken and said it tasted like a homemade meal.

I didn’t know what to expect, but noticed the high volume of reviews… and now I realize WHY! The whole atmosphere, vibe, music, customer service, and especially food was great! Desiree was friendly and helpful! We enjoyed the club sandwich, onion rings, fries, and kids loved their grilled cheese. Even though we were stuffed… we had to make room for their banana split, which was amazing! 🍨 Highly recommend!!!

I can’t fault anything here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only surprise was that the staff lift the plates from the table of those who are finished while others are still eating! Food was very tasty and not over priced. The ambiance and atmosphere were really great and the staff helped to make it. Would definitely recommend.

50's sock hop/drive in music. Foid was fabulous. Much more than we could eat. And iced coffee better than Starbucks. Wait staff dressed period appropriate and fabulously friendly. 100% recommend. Prices $$ for 2 adults.

Nestled in Sevierville, the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant is a beloved spot for hearty Southern comfort food. Whether you're fueling up before hitting the Smoky Mountains or winding down after a day of adventure, this casual eatery has you covered. Indulge in their signature apple fritters and homemade apple butter, served with every meal.
My fiancé and his family took me here to this famous Southern restaurant, and it was one of the best Southern family meals I’ve ever had. I’d recommend getting a reservation as it gets quite busy! The interior is a large old farmhouse with different wooden tables and chairs. Ours chairs were the swinging kind! Our waitress was lovely and greeted us with a complimentary basket of their famously delicious Apple Fritters with Apple Butter. We were also given a complimentary cup of their signature Apple Mint Julep. I got the Country Fried Steak with White Gravy as my entrée, and chose Grandma’s Broccoli Cheddar Soup. We got the Mashed Potatoes and Mac ‘N’ Cheese as our refillable mains for the table. Everything came out hot, fresh, and prompt. It was all SCRUMPTIOUS! The soup was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. You can’t leave here hungry, that’s for sure! The food was filling, delicious and good for the soul. I absolutely loved this place and would love to return someday!

We always love the apple barn restaurant, but Shanna really made our experience one of a kind!! She provided the best service we have received since being in town. Shanna truly went above & beyond to make sure we were satisfied. My toddler absolutely adored her & she made sure he had the BEST time. Our food was amazing as always.

We arrived here for dinner a little late at night but everyone was warm and inviting. The food was amazing from start to finish. We loved every bit of it. I got the trio meal which included chicken pot pie, chicken and dumplings and fried chicken. It was the best chicken and dumplings I have ever had!! Before the meal comes, you get complimentary Juleps and fresh apple fritters with apple butter. You also get a choice of soup. We got broccoli and cheddar soup which was delicious. We got the Mac n cheese, green beans and mashed potatoes. Everything tasted so fresh. We were mesmerized. We had no room for dessert and was so pleased when they let us take it to go. Would definitely recommend and return!

This place is amazing. You get so much for the cost of your meal. Britney, our waitress was very good. Very attentive. And walking around the shops afterwards was a lot of fun. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Well my wife and I tried this place because it was recommended to us. We are from Las Vegas and we did like the service and the area for sure. The food was good, but not as good as we thought it would be. Maybe it was our choices, or the combination of choices. You get 3 side dish PER TABLE not per PERSON. At least that's what that said. Kinda strange option. Because I would probably next time sit alone order for myself, then other my sides including okra, and then go hey friend can I join you, oh look it looks like you have order you sides already, hey let's share... My friend shouldn't be forced to eat sides he don't like or vis-ver-sa. I should be able to order my own. Now I had the pork chops, and they were a bit too salty. But otherwise they are ok. Wife has the grilled catfish, and she too said it was ok. It's a lot of food because of the carbohydrates that come along with the side dishes, and then the desert that comes with it. Of course I wasn't able to eat it at the end. I had them put it to go and it was smashed put together so that was a bit unprofessional. If you eat a lot of food then yes this is the place. But if you don't and you plan to share then don't go here cuz they don't even like people sharing. Would I come here again probably not, But again that's just me. Overall I give it an okay spot..👌

Super packed so get there early . We had a 50min wait with 23 parties ahead of us for a table of 2. Our waiter did the bare minimum, not that we needed a whole bunch but there was just no effort given. My country fried steak was slightly overcooked. Not to the point it was burnt but you could just tell if they cooked it a min or 2 less it'd have been perfect. It was the least satisfying CFS that I've ever eaten. The biscuits & gravy however we're some of the best! We also enjoyed their complimentary apple pineapple juice and beignets. Overall not worth all the hype that was given ,but you get a hefty portion for your $.

Incredible staff, beautiful dining areas with tons of character. Food was not bad, just not great. Looks the part as you can see in the photos and the food was “fine.” Scrambled eggs were like powdered eggs, gravy seems like chain restaurant which this place is not…I’d think they’d rock a great southern country gravy but it was meh. Again, the people are super sweet and attentive. Kitchen needs work…shame this place gets out cooked by Cracker Barrel.

LOVE the outdoor seating. Especially during the winter when they have the fire pit going❤️Great selection of food. Excellent service. Of course everyone loves the Apple Fritters, and apple butter. My only complaint is that they took away the grill cheese sandwich with the chicken noodle soup. That was all of our favorites. Please bring it back

Five Oaks Farm Kitchen, located in Sevierville, offers a delightful dining experience with classic BBQ and American Southern fare. The rustic space features high ceilings and communal seating, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Inspired by Granny Blanche's kitchen, the menu includes breakfast delights like Blanche's Thick Ring Baked Griddle Cakes with various toppings.
My first time eating here and definitely was not disappointed. I got the chicken and dumplings and they really reminded me of my grandmothers recipe they were so good, the cornbread it came with was ok but the biscuits are the real winner when it comes to the bread here, some of the best biscuits I’ve had from a restaurant. We also ordered the cinnamon roll and it really is huge, we ate half and took the rest home to have for breakfast the next day. It had such a good flavor and surprisingly wasn’t too sweet which we loved. Overall a really good meal and worth the hype, I can’t remember our waiters name but he was wonderful, we will definitely be back!
Ashley M — Google review
The food was good but would've been better if we got what we ordered. The fried chicken was supposed to come with a breast and a thigh. When receiving the plate, it appeared to have two breasts and no thigh. After asking the waitress, we were told they "might" be out of thighs and that we got "rations" because they are saving food for a huge group coming later after they close from normal hours. We were not offered a discount or to go see if they really were out of thighs. The restaurant should not punish their current customers with food they are saving for their future customers.

Fantastic breakfast! Loved everything about it! Surprisingly, for being an extremely busy place, the wait went quickly. The service was outstanding! The food was filling, plenty and like momma would’ve made! The interior was beautiful! We’ll go back again!

Wonderful breakfast. The portions are huge. The food is filling and tasty. The cinnamon roll was huge and the glaze on top is more cream based as to not kill you with sugar overload. I will come here every time I am in the area.
David V — Google review
I found this restaurant while searching on Google. Such a warm place with friendly staff! Food is very good. Fried okra was my favorite. Only downside was the wait line, we waited approx. 45 mins to get a seat. But there are plenty outdoor space to kill some time while waiting. It was worth to wait for those amazing briskets.
Sarah A — Google review
Stopped in a little after 2 PM and felt a bit rushed, like they were ready to close up. The server was friendly and took good care of us, but everything came out super fast — food was on the table in about five minutes after ordering. The food was okay overall, just had that “cafeteria” feel like it had been sitting for a while. My wife got an omelet and really liked it; I had the meatloaf, which was solid. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant mix, and the fried okra was pretty rough — maybe a 1/5. The atmosphere was cute and cozy, and for the price, it’s not a bad deal. I’d probably eat there again, but it kind of feels like a slightly nicer Cracker Barrel — just without the gift shop.
Josh B — Google review
I wanted to try out their "country cooking" so I stopped by for lunch. Lunch menu is very limited and I opted for the meat loaf mash potatoes and pinto beans. The portions are so small for the price they charge. Pinto beans were ok just didn't have enough salt in them. The mash potatoes are not real they are powdered and taste like it. The meatloaf was burnt and dry. It came with bread that I couldn't tell you what kind it was. I had ordered cornbread which they charged 2.00 extra for a small muffin. It was cake like. Not the kind of good buttermilk cornbread you would like to eat with your beans. I had thought about coming here for Thanksgiving but have most definitely changed my mind.

I had great food, great company, but the person that made my experience the best was the server Brittney. I even talked to the manager about how great she was. She was on point, friendly, knew all the answers to my questions, she brought stuff without us even asking. Like for real she needs a raise like asap. So hopefully my comments get to the top because the manager wasn't nearly as delightful as Britney was! She should definitely be promoted to manager or somethin! She would be my reason for coming back if nothing else!

We have one where we live BUT THIS ONE HAS EVERYTHING AND EVERYTHING IS OUTSTANDING and has more variety of food the best!!!
Kevin M — Google review
This buffet is hands down the best spot to go with kids — they’ll definitely find something they like. There’s a huge variety of food, and everything tastes great. For dinner starting at 4 PM, they grill steaks, but there are also special dishes available at lunch. The food is absolutely the biggest plus. The only downside is the restaurant atmosphere — it feels like an old cafeteria, with no decor, nice lighting, or design. If they added some coziness and style to the space, it would make dining here much more enjoyable. The buffet itself was fairly clean, but as usual, the plates looked pretty awful.
Natalya A — Google review
Carla made the experience phenomenal. We brought our son to the area to celebrate his birthday and this was our first meal. Besides the food being great Carla was on the ball every time I finished my tea, another magically appeared. I also watched her kindly turn over one of her tables to another server as the customer switched tables after sitting the first time. He politeness, professionalism are above reproach and she represents what a good person is and the Golden Corral!! VR Jason

Love the variety. The pot roast and sweet potatoes were my favorites. The peach cobbler was very disappointing - looked like soup with a crust😭. The chocolate chess pie was a good alternative.
Gina A — Google review
Whoever decided to put all the steaks on the grill at once, they deserve a raise. It's such a great and smart idea! Also including Horchata as a drink at the counter is a great idea too! The atmosphere is great! It feels like a 5 star restaurant for real! There are a big variety of drinks here too. It's great, I give it 5-stars on everything. Food, great, prices, great, service, great, everything is great!
Derek — Google review
You wonder why I gave five stars for food and service and only one for atmosphere which determined my entire review because a COCKROACH ran across my table right after we finished dinner and we're about to go get dessert. I hated to share this experience, but then again I hated not to. They did fully refund me, but I am sickened by this experience. We don't live like this at home and we are on vacation. Totally disgusting.
Brittany B — Google review
Decided to stop in the Golden Corral and have lunch today, the only reason I'm giving it four stars is because there actually wasn't a lot of food. They had a variety but we've just been another Golden Corrals that had at least six or seven buffets of food, we stull left full though. The hostess was very friendly and kept our tables clean and our cups refilled so she definitely gets five stars!

The diner also boasts an outdoor garden, adding to its appeal as a breakfast gem.
As always, Cracker Barrel satisfies our food cravings, and it provides us with a relaxing atmosphere while traveling. When we go on a long road trip, we try to find Cracker Barrel no matter what time of the day it is. We just feel that they serve better and healthier options than going to a fast food. We love the ambiance of all their stores, and their service is fast. They have not failed us yet.

We always enjoy cracker barrel. Our server was very pleasant. The only thing i think should happen is to offer military/veteran discounts all the time not just a certain day for a pancake meal because not everyone can visit on that day. We travel alot and always enjoy cracker barrel
Cynthia C — Google review
We were feeling hungry staying at Gatlinburg but all the local restaurants were very touristy and artificially inflated. I noticed that there was a local Cracker Barrel just 10 min away. I was happy to drive there as I know the quality of the food and prices were very reasonable. We were greeted right as we walked in the restaurant in Pigeon Forge seated right away. Our server Katherine R. was very attentive and friendly. My mom ordered the rainbow trout and I had the Honey Butter Fried chicken. All the food came out freshly prepared and delicious. We were checked on both by Katherine as well as the associate manager Jeremy M. on multiple occasions. My sweet tea was always refilled. Where else can you have a complete meal for two with drinks costly only 43 with tip. I highly recommend people try out the Cracker Barrel off 3960 Parkway, Pigeon Forge and skip all that commercialism restaurants next town over. You won’t be disappointed.

Good food at good value. Love the country store - so many old fashioned items and goodies. Typically quick service once seated, but often have to wait for a table. Broccoli didn’t have much flavor. Spend time in the general Store - lots of fun just looking through the items!

Debra, our waitress, was so polite. She had several tables, but we did not run out of drinks, and she checked on us regularly. The food was really good and the atmosphere was so calm and relaxing. Pancake Pantry is a popular breakfast and lunch spot in Gatlinburg, known for its wide variety of flapjacks. Established in 1960, it has been serving hearty breakfasts for decades. The restaurant offers an extensive list of breakfast items including buttermilk pancakes and unique flavors like Caribbean Pancakes, Swiss Chocolate Chip Pancakes, and Sugar n Spice Pancakes.
The highlight of the meal was definitely the sweet potato pancakes—so good, I barely stopped to take a proper picture! The cinnamon syrup made them even better, adding just the right touch of warmth and sweetness. For lunch, we had The Continental with homemade chips. I opted to keep side since I’m not big on sauces—it had a sweet and tangy flavor that wasn’t quite my thing, but the sandwich and chips themselves were fantastic. My husband went for the hamburger with homemade fries, and both were a hit. Overall, a great meal with a few personal taste preferences in the mix!

One of the best breakfast spots! Pancake Pantry completely lived up to the hype. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in. The service was truly world-class—friendly, attentive, and with perfect timing of food. everything came out exactly when it should. And the food? Absolutely delicious. Every bite tasted amazingly and was made with care. Honestly, this is one of the best breakfast places I’ve ever visited, and I’d come back in a heartbeat.
Krister-Martin H — Google review
Founded in 1961, Pancake Pantry is a must-visit classic. We waited about 20 minutes as a party of seven, but service was quick once seated. The place is big, lively, and a bit loud, yet conversation-friendly. The veggieburger was mild and could use a little more flavor, but the Swiss Chocolate Chip Pancake were absolutely delicious, fluffy, flavorful, and easily the best I’ve had. Portions are generous, and sharing a pancake and a sandwich works perfectly for two. The fries were crisp and tasty too. Definitely worth the wait for the pancakes.
Harsh S — Google review
The pancakes were really good and didn’t taste bad at all. The omelettes were okay but not the best. The atmosphere was really nice and felt like a wooden diner. The waiters were obviously in a rush but that seems reason since it was packed. The waiting time wasn’t that long only around 15 min.

The crepes were AMAZING! I had the wildberry ones - outside of the taste I really appreciate how big they were, it was definitely very filling and worth the price. Alisha was amazing, always made sure to check if we needed anything, I especially appreciate anytime I don't have to wait for a drink refill when I'm at a restaurant haha.

It has been years since I have come for a visit. Always bring a friend to try the delicious breakfast. My friend had the sweet potato pancakes, which she loved and the sausage patties. I had the gluten free pancakes which was a first. They were okay. I just don't like regular syrup because of the processed ingredients in it, so I only ate one out of the huge portion given to me because of the syrup. The turkey sausage was good too. Before I came I saw on their online menu there was a gluten free crepe option, which when I asked I was told no there was none.

Great food, service and atmosphere! I love the fact that 2 pancakes come with all skillets. Food was delicious, service was right on point, and it was quick. Didn’t want more than 10 minutes for a table on a busy Sunday morning, and it was 10 minutes or less for our food to come out after ordering.

We stopped here on the way from our accomodations at Carr's Cottages since this is within walking distance. Definitely recommend for the great pancake options. The pancakes are huge and thick, and come with so many fun options available. I got the plain since I'm watching my sugar intake, but hubby got mixed berry and loved them. The place is efficiently run with plenty of servers. They leave a carafe of coffee at your table, and serve you warm syrup. Both are great touches The wooden tables with wooden benches are a bit hard and worn down, but it is a clean place. The women's restroom was very clean and well taken care of - big kudos to whoever is responsible for that.

OMG, I am here on my honeymoon and found the breakfast place to go to. The absolute best country fried steak with gravy and biscuits by far. I will be returning for the biscuits and gravy before heading home. I was told this is the location to go to, as it is a local chain. The tenured staff and friendly environment, with some nice shops nearby, this place is a must. You won't regret it. Made sure to go back for biscuits and gravy, requested the same waitress, she's the best. The food was absolutely amazing. We can't wait to stop in on our way through for future trips. P.S. adorable and delicious pancake bear

Unfortunately the food disappointed across the board. The staff was super nice and friendly but the food just let us down. Everyone's plate was luke warm at best. The cheese grits had no taste or cheese. My fried chicken was crispy but dry inside and the waffle lacked crisp. Pancakes were decent but nothing out of the ordinary. Maybe my expectations were higher. I really had high hopes for here.

Unfortunately, my experience at Flapjack’s was disappointing. From the moment we sat down, the waitress was rushing us to order and came off a bit rude, which made the whole breakfast feel uncomfortable. To make things worse, I found a fly inside my orange juice — definitely not what you expect when you’re trying to enjoy your meal. The food itself was okay, but the service and cleanliness really took away from the overall experience. I hope they improve both staff attitude and hygiene moving forward.

Very clean inside especially the bathrooms . Very friendly staff gave me and my wife a free glazed doughnut right of the conveyor belt. If you have never had a 2 minute old doughnut you have know idea what your missing. The lady who waited on us gave us a step by step on how the make the doughnuts fresh daily. She even gave us a little Krispy Kreme history. We purchased 1/2 a dozen doughnuts. Only thing negative I can say if I wished we have gotten a full dozen. Cause man they were good ….

Marie T — Google review
We were excited to get some Krispy Kreme, it's been years since we've been to one. We were actually disappointed after getting our dozen due to our donuts being cold and stiff as if you just took them out of a fridge. When I was younger, I remembered getting these fresh from the drive through. They were warm and tasted like they melted in your mouth, but these donuts here are definitely not that. I am deeply disappointed in this place. Also another note, our donuts looked thinner than usual. Paid about $17.00 for cold, thin, and stiff donuts. Don't bother to come here unless you get a lucky day where its actually made well.
K Y — Google review
Tonight our family got lucky with the hot and fresh sign. We got a dozen and it only took five minutes with about 15 people waiting on an order. The classic glazed donut was one of the best donuts I have ever had. They were fluffy and perfectly glazed. I would love to move here to gatlinburg just for this occasion.

Pancake restaurant
Breakfast restaurant
Diner
The Smoky Mountain Pancake House is a long-standing family-run restaurant in Pigeon Forge, serving up delicious breakfast options since 1968. Located conveniently near many hotels, it offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere to enjoy a hearty morning meal. The menu features made-from-scratch buttermilk pancakes with various toppings and fillings, including specialties like Reese's peanut butter and chocolate chip pancakes, pecan pancakes, and mountain blueberry pancakes.
Some really good pancakes in hearty size breakfast portions. Breakfast made right. Your meals come out fairly quickly. The papa bear size breakfast was quite large. The mama bear portions are just right. The breakfast sausage is awesome and highly recommend as a side. The only improvement needed is the coffee. The coffee is rather bland. The thermos the server brings to keep at the table does not keep the coffee hot. This restaurant seems to be a local favorite. When we arrived near 10 a.m. it was quite crowded. Entrance is quite strange as it leads you to a gift shop prior to being sat at the table. Service was great. All staff were friendly and treated us kindly. However they were quite busy and understandable they couldn't get to all tables quickly to check in. Plenty of parking. Right off the main road.

Found this place by chance. Went with the family there. Has the same options that Flapjacks has up the street. I believe they are owned by the same group. Prices are reasonable for a tourist area but still on the high end. Service did disappoint however, could have been better. Has a nice little give shop to by souvenirs and other items. Also the men’s restroom is super small.

Food was good and plentiful as noone left hungry. The service was not good unfortunately although they were busy so I’ll put that as a side bar. That being said we had everyone’s cup empty and the only time the server visited out table was to get drink order, take order, bring food, and finally to bring the check. We were here for over an hour so it was really lacking. Pancakes tasted good but were a bit rubbery so makes me believe they had been sitting for awhile. Don’t believe I’ll be back again as there are too many choices for service that lacked this badly.
Damian W — Google review
This is the most awful place to eat breakfast. The waiter couldent even speak English. Everything was horrible the pancakes where dry the drinks tasted like bleach. We all asked for our eggs over medium and they were the most runny eggs you can think of. The bacon tasted like you went out in the hog lot and licked a pig it was that horrible. The biscuits were hard as a rock. The bathrooms were disgusting. I would not recommend to anyone ever. We will never be back.
DA H — Google review
It's nothing spectacular, but it is a quality establishment for a decent Breakfast. They do have Gluten Friendly Foods and the Service is truly great. It beats anything IHOP, Denny's or Waffle House has to offer; and that's because it is a local business. What I wouldn't recommend on the Menu, is their Sausage Gravy. It's just so bland, but the consistency is there. They do have a variety of items at a Gift Shop too.
Joey N — Google review
Nothing special here. Greeter was nice and fun. The server was attentive but no personality. The atmosphere was all about turning people and selling stuff in the gift shop. The food was commercial. The waffle I had was bland, eggs flavorless and the bacon plain. If you are visiting and want something different, this is not the place. If you have kids and they are picky then this will work.
Stephen T — Google review
I can’t say enough about this place! Just go!! It is soooo good. I was here over the weekend on vacation and seriously can’t get the taste of this food out of my mind. We have nothing like this in Jacksonville, Florida. I was so impressed. The price, the taste, the amount of food you get can even be split by two people. So good!! Friendly service too and warm atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

Eat breakfast here every time we're in town! The stuffed french toast with mixed berries is excellent! I tried the pumpkin roll french toast this time. It was soft like cake and sweet. Probably won't get it next time. Didn't care for their coffee.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Gatlinburg, the Little House of Pancakes is a delightful Mom and Pop eatery that captures the essence of Southern charm. This cozy spot is renowned for its generous portions and an impressive array of pancake flavors, from classic blueberry to indulgent chocolate chip and even unique options like cinnamon roll. The warm hospitality makes every visit feel special, inviting you to savor not just breakfast but also lunch classics in a relaxed atmosphere.
Great breakfast place. Got the steak and eggs, which was very delicious! Service was good too! A simple, quick stop. Prices are...Gatlinberg prices so no shock there.

Nice little local pancake restaurant. None of the gimmicky appearance like some of the other restaurants. The breakfast was quite delicious. We would go here again.
Aridae — Google review
This place is an absolute southern charm beauty! The staff is very nice and friendly and very helpful to navigate all the delicious options. The food is absolutely delicious!! Everything we had was cooked perfectly and with care. Aside from that it was very fair priced considering the portions are huge! I highly recommend the country fried steak and eggs!
Pablo E — Google review
When we walked in we were immediately greeted and even though they were busy we were sat very quickly. They’re really good at clearing a table and setting it for the next guest. We got the chicken and waffles, and chocolate chip pancakes with bananas, sausage, and scrambled eggs. Our breakfast was amazing, I loved the chicken and waffles. Our waitress was super sweet and very kind. She balanced the busy atmosphere very well. Highly recommend coming here for breakfast.

This is my husbands and I favorite breakfast spot in Gatlinburg hands down! Every time we visit here we have such an awesome experience. The staff is always so friendly and the food no matter what we order is so out of this world outstanding the best! My husband ordered the French toast bacon and eggs. I ordered the pecan pancakes sausage and eggs with cheese. I forgot names but the whole staff on Friday June 6th at 7 am should all be recognized for an outstanding job.
Charlotte C — Google review
This adventure started out promising. The host and hostess were very friendly, energetic and on the ball. We were the first group seated in our section and immediately greeted by our waitress. It was busy so we ordered waters and meals (2 omelettes -one bacon and one peddler w/ the tomatoes on side - and one waffle) simultaneously. After 30 minutes, the groups that were seated after us were finishing their meals. When I saw our waitress, I asked her if she minded checking on our food. She told us that “it had only been 29 minutes since our ticket was entered which is really good for a tourist place”. 45ish minutes later, we had food!!! 🙌 I was on cloud nine diving into that omelette… until I was dropped kicked off of it and face planted into a lukewarm wet egg scramble missing bacon. We finished our meals and waited for a while. The two hosts, still beaming, came over to clear off our table. We didn’t see our waitress again until she brought the check, that was incorrect. I reminded her we didn’t order a side of tomatoes. She said she charged us for them because “they weren’t put inside of the omelette. The kitchen was really struggling today.” Meanwhile the other waitress in our section was engaging her tables, full of energy and had turned multiple tables before we received our food. She and the hosts were rocking it! The waffle was the best part of the almost 1.5 hour experience! It’s 10/10!
Culinary C — Google review
“The food was authentic and delicious, and the staff were very welcoming. Even though I visited during a busy weekend, they received me warmly. I waited about 15 minutes to be seated, and the food arrived a bit late — but that’s understandable since the place was packed and the staff were working hard. The ambiance was clean and neat, and it’s definitely great value for money. A must-try is their pancakes — soft, fluffy, and bursting with a lovely vanilla aroma. I absolutely loved it!”
Shiva M — Google review
Awesome little place. Very busy, but the staff have a great way keeping up with parties. You get a lot of food for the money and everything is made fresh. You will probably have a wait time, but they give you menus while you chill. Very pleased with my experience.

IHOP, a beloved chain known for its extensive selection of pancakes and classic American breakfast dishes, stands out in the bustling town of Pigeon Forge. With numerous locations around, this particular IHOP has carved a niche for itself by offering not just delicious meals but also an inviting atmosphere that rivals many local breakfast spots. What sets it apart is the addition of a charming gift shop where visitors can browse through various trinkets and toys—perfect for families looking to make their dining experience even more memorable.
We ordered two combo breakfast which included veggie omelet, hash browns and avocado toast with scrambled eggs and hash browns with coffee. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend this breakfast or brunch spot as it delicious and pocket friendly. Atmosphere is good and usually crowded. Service is apt. I am definitely going there again.

Overall a good experience for late night food option. (Denny’s down the road is a nightmare with one waitress and one cook and the wait time from the time you order will be anywhere from 1 to 2 hours. So please save yourself the trouble and go here!) IHOP isn’t 24hrs but if it was they would defiantly get alot more business because cookout, Waffle House and Dennys are the only options and all of them stay slammed late at night.
Haley G — Google review
The food definitely looks better in the menu than it does upon receiving the food. Really need some taste to it as it is so bland and the prices of the items is really over rated.
Mary B — Google review
We had a great meal here! The food was fresh, the service was friendly, and it was surprisingly calm compared to the rest of the busy Pigeon Forge area. We were seated quickly and enjoyed a relaxing breakfast without the long waits you’ll find elsewhere nearby. Definitely a solid stop if you’re looking for a dependable meal in a less hectic atmosphere.
Jeffrey H — Google review
Was seated quickly The restaurant was not busy but somehow they forgot about us. We waited at least 20 minutes before anyone came to the table to ask us what we wanted to drink by then. We knew what we wanted to eat but he wasn't prepared to take that order and gave us an excuse that he was sorry it wasn't his fault. The hostess didn't tell him he had another table. At the end The waiter had the check so messed up And went back three times trying to correct it. Eventually we just paid it. I had an appointment at 11:00 and we had to get out of there. This was the absolute worst service ever and no one said. I'm sorry. No one cared as far as food. It was perfect but the service was the worst

We ordered online. Waited our 15 minutes and went inside to get it. The food was sitting by the register and not an employee anywhere to be found. We got no notification that it was even ready. The omelet was a good size but The peppers and onions were undercooked. Bacon was hard. The hash browns were very dry and overcooked. Not worth almost $30 for 2 meals.

Southern restaurant (US)
Song & Hearth: A Southern Eatery is a must-visit for those craving an authentic taste of the South. The restaurant's family-style and buffet meals offer a grand dining experience reminiscent of a Southern mansion, complete with high ceilings, charming decor, and stained glass windows. Located at Dollywood's HeartSong Lodge & Resort, it welcomes both resort and non-resort guests with complimentary self-parking. Indulge in rich southern-fare while enjoying picturesque views and capturing memorable moments.
This is the main restaurant associated with Dollywood's Dreamore hotel. It's largely buffet based. We are both breakfast and supper here, and both were good. It trends towards enhanced country cooking with some twists. Staff very polite and warm friendly atmosphere. Considering it's a tourist location, prices reasonable.
James M — Google review
My husband and I tried the ala carte breakfast menu during the off season this past February. I originally wanted to order the chicken and waffles but they were not available first thing in the morning. We were told that the chicken was still frozen. No big deal. My husband ordered a coffee and I ordered a sweet tea. He really enjoyed the coffee. This was the sweetest tea I had ever had in my life. I'm not sure if it was because we were one of the first people in the restaurant that morning or if it's normally that sweet. My husband ordered the traditional egg breakfast you can get anywhere with eggs, bacon, toast and breakfast potatoes. I decided to have an omelette since I wasn't able to get the chicken and waffles. The omelette was amazing. I chose ham, onions and cheddar cheese. It also came with a choice of grits or breakfast potatoes. I chose grits and I'm glad I did. I don't normally like grits but these were great. We really enjoyed the breakfast. We visited the resort in November and saw the breakfast buffet. It did not look very good in our opinion and seemed overpriced. We enjoy the breakfast buffet at the Heartsong Lodge better. I wish DreamMore offered the breakfast buffet and a menu option like Heartsong Lodge.

My wife and I recently began our 50th year of marriage and decided to take our whole family (3 daughters and their husbands plus 11 grandchildren) to Dollywood for a celebration. While there we had dinner at the Song & Hearth. It was amazing! They surprised us with ballons and cupcakes marking our milestone. (Photo attached) The food was great and the service was awesome. Special thanks to Rick and Rachel who took such good care of us and did so with courtesy, humor, and genuine concern that our time with them was everything we imagined it would be and more. Also, thanks to their supervisor Nanette who checked on us periodically as a help to Rick and Rachel. (We kept them quite busy!) Finally, thank you to restaurant manager David (I am remiss in forgetting his last name) who I am sure made the arrangements for our surprise decorations and treats! We cannot recommend Song & Hearth strongly enough! Go hungry, but by all means go!

The breakfast buffet has a great selection. The best omelets in the Smokies. Bacon, sausage links, chicken apple sausage links, eggs, grits, gravy, biscuits, muffins, pastries, fruit, juices, coffee, water, soft drinks, tea, hash browns, diced potatoes, pancakes, French toast, funnel cakes, whipped cream, yogurt, granola, Belgium waffles, English muffins, Gluten Free Breads, salsa, cheese, spinach, and so much more. The best breakfast in Pigeon Forge, only Mamma’s Farmhouse and Crockett’s Breakfast Camp can compete. Food and service are excellent.

When we 1st. arrived at the restaurant we weren't sure if we were in the correct place. No one greated us so we walked around looking for another place to eat. We found a small (small) indoor pool that no one was at. We also found the game room with limited games. So we walked back to where we were told the restaurant was and again waited. Finally someone came over and we asked if we could sit down and order some food. It took her a few seconds but she finally said yes. My wife had a salad, I had their version of a hamburger with fries, and we both had sweet tea. Let's just say it's a place to order some decent sweet tea and leave it at that.
Norman H — Google review
We went for the Saturday dinner buffet and left unimpressed with the food. Prime rib was good. Shrimp was nice. Salmon was incredibly dry. One short rib was delicious the next was tough. The broccolini was both undercooked and soggy. The crepes were premade (I think frozen) and then reheated- fine but not anything too special. The desserts looked great but our choices all had a freezer taste to them. Wait staff were welcoming and attentive. The 1 woman working the carving station, sausage, and crepes was sweet and helpful.

We arrived late afternoon for resort check-in and weren’t up to leaving again for dinner. 3 adults, 2 teens. It seems Song & Hearth recently switched from buffet to family style? And reviews were all over the place. Rather than do the grab-n-go market, we decided to take a chance as Family Style dining is a fun treat. We placed reservations via Open Table, though it didn’t seem other parties were delayed being seated this Memorial Day weekend. This is a family resort and understandably there were a lot of little littles. The hostess was professional and also accommodated our request for a particular area of the restaurant as it was my brother’s 50th bday. Our server, Karen, was friendly and kept things moving with assistance of dining room support staff. Not rushed, relaxing enough to enjoy the ambiance, and not too slow even though a party of 20 was seated just before us. We had chicken, brisket, and salmon. Broccoli casserole, mac n cheese, & mashed potatoes. The salmon was excellent! Not at all fishy and great flavor. My son, who lives on chicken tenders, loved the wings. Chocolate Mousse & Banana Pudding a great ending. Could grandma make some of the sides “better”? Sure…we all have our preferences. But nothing was horrible. Tea was sweet. Biscuits were hot. Song & Hearth was a great way to immerse into the resorts vibe and begin our time at Dollywood.
T R — Google review
The breakfast buffet was not good. Certainly not worth what we paid for it. The eggs had no flavor, the hash brown casserole had too much black pepper, the waffle was soft from being in the warmer with pancakes and the specialty pancakes were dried out from sitting under a heat lamp. The pastries were hard and dried out as well. The donuts in the display were absolutely terrible! They felt like they were days old and beyond stale. The only decent foods were the bacon and the biscuits & gravy. I could’ve gotten that elsewhere for much cheaper. I was very disappointed in this buffet and I feel like Dolly would be ashamed at that quality of food being associated with her name.

Dollywood's DreamMore Resort & Spa is a modern and expansive resort that draws inspiration from Dolly Parton's childhood home in Tennessee. Located next to Dollywood theme park and Dollywood's Splash Country water park, the resort offers a self-contained experience for families with various dining options, indoor and outdoor pools, a kids camp, and small details like denim pockets on bed pillows. The lavish Dolly Parton Suite reflects her vibrant personality.
I had the BEST time staying at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort & Spa! ✨ I was only there for two days, but honestly wish I had booked a longer stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome — everyone was beyond friendly and helpful. My room was spotless (just like the photos online, which isn’t always the case at hotels!), and the beds were super comfy. The complimentary shuttle to Dollywood was such a huge convenience — no parking stress, just hop on, enjoy the park, and ride right back to the hotel. Loved it! 🎢🎶 The food at the restaurants was delicious, and the valet staff were wonderful too, always smiling and quick to help. I also really appreciated how responsive they were when I realized I left an item in my room after checkout — they immediately connected me with lost & found and made the whole process so easy. Overall, everything about my first stay here exceeded expectations. The resort is beautiful, the staff is incredible, and the whole experience felt magical. 🌸 I can’t wait to come back — and I’ll be recommending DreamMore to all my family and friends!

Stopped in on our way to Gatlinburg.. on a whim just to say I had been here. Extremely nice staff, valet gentleman named David was so pleasant. He gave us alot of information, which in turn, invited us to go inside for a look. We had no reservations but the front desk staff person, I think was Rhonda, was very helpful and found us a room along with 2 tickets for the park. I've never been to such a gorgeous, clean and fun place like this. The food was awesome as well. The hotel, trolley, park, decorations, workers were phenomenal ! Yes the cinnamon bread was delicious from the Grist Mill. We actually went back a few days later to experience the Harvest lights and stayed at the hotel again ! Wish we lived closer ! We can't wait to go back! Best part of our vacation by a mile!

Had no expectations coming into our one night stay at Dollywood DreamMore resort but our family was very impressed! The staff was all extremely friendly and helpful - the kids loved the elf outfits! There were activities suitable for all ages and the resort itself was really beautifully and thoughtfully laid out. Our room was more spacious than most other places we’ve stayed and i thought the bathroom was the best one we’ve experienced! Overall so happy we chose DreamMore and will definitely be back! Highly recommend during the holiday season - such beautiful decorations!!
Ashley W — Google review
My family and I have stayed here every year for several years and always have had the best experience until this weekend. I am not sure if there is new management or what has changed, but the resort staff was less than helpful this time and the customer service was overall lacking. They now have police officers on duty…one who decided to embarrass my 9 year old in front off a group of people for not having a shirt on in the lobby when he just walked in from their resort pool. Having signs that they cannot come inside in swimwear or telling one of the adults would have been a better approach. Also, a positive side of staying at one of the properties is to get into Dollywood an hour early, but the shuttles were not even running by 9:00. I am disappointed at the huge change in customer service and hope that things improve.
Bethany S — Google review
I haven't had a chance to stay here yet but I swung by to see about getting some cinnamon bread from the DM Pantry. Luckily, they had it available since the wait line at Dollywood was longer than most lines for the rides. Also grabbed a pepperoni pizza and a turkey Swiss melt. The pizza was really good but the melt was absolutely perfect and had me wanting more. The cinnamon bread loaf was offered as wrapped for travel or heated for immediate consumption which was very appreciated. Hoping to stay here soon bc the whole place looked great and had a fantastic ambiance.

This is a fantastic resort with clean rooms great views. Staff is attentive and kind and welcoming. The giant hot tub is to die for! The trolleys to Dollywood are convenient and the gift shops, kids’ activities, fitness center, fire pits, and indoor and outdoor pools mean that there’s plenty to do without leaving the resort.
Juniper R — Google review
Every detail is awesome from the beauty of the smoky mountains view on the back of the resort overlooking the immaculate pool to the aesthetic of the resort interior which is really nice but feels more inviting and like home then most luxury hotels, the wonderful fresh food in the lobby, the friendly staff always willing to go above and beyond, the concierge making all trip planning easy and informative, Logan at the front desk who checked us in arranging everything we needed and giving us all the best options. We will be back

Nestled in the heart of Pigeon Forge, The Cottage Restaurant has quickly become a go-to spot for brunch enthusiasts. Open daily from 9 AM to 2 PM, this charming eatery offers an enticing menu that caters to all tastes. From savory breakfast tacos and creamy avocado toast to classic Eggs Benedict and hearty steak and eggs, there's something for everyone.
The Cottage is hands-down one of the most delightful breakfast spots I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for a relaxed yet special dining experience. The space feels warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed, creating the perfect backdrop for a leisurely breakfast. Our server, Evan, was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, he made sure everything about our visit flowed seamlessly. His genuine hospitality elevated the experience and made us feel right at home. The food itself was nothing short of exceptional. The Southwestern omelette was hearty, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. The pumpkin pie cheesecake pancakes were absolutely decadent—rich, seasonal, and the kind of dish you dream about long after the meal ends. The biscuit board was a standout as well, offering flaky, buttery biscuits with a variety of toppings that made every bite exciting. To top it all off, the hazelnut latte was smooth and comforting, a perfect complement to the meal. Overall, The Cottage offers not just breakfast, but a memorable experience. Between the cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and stellar service, it’s a place I’ll be eager to return to again and again. -A Local

This is our first time at Pigeon Forge. This is the Orlando of the Tennessee valley and it appears the restaurants reflect that. We came here 9:30am on a Monday The good: - Friendly staff! - cozy environment The OK: - the service. Asked for ketchup with my potatoes and I was halfway through my meal before I received it. My wife received her matcha after she was eating her breakfast. - food: just OK. Lacking creativity and flavor - personal preference: the wide rim coffee mugs are not conducive to sipping a warm cup of coffee. Drink fast or your coffee will be cold in minutes. My first cup of coffee was okay, my refill was watered down. I took two sips and then we headed to a coffee shop. Overall, I'm sure this place is good compared to anything else around the area. But we were disappointed. Just another tourist breakfast joint.

This place was a huge hit for us. I usually dont do a review on the first visit but felt this one deserved it. The building is very nice and well put together. Inside is gorgeous. Very clean and presentation is done to a very high quality. Our waiter was very polite and respectful as well as great at his job. The food was exceptional. The fried green tomatoes and the biscuit board are great starters. The honey butter is out of this world good. We also got the breakfast tacos and they too were amazing. This place is certainly worth a visit if great food and presentation are important to you.

Local here and I have to say that I was quite impressed with the Cottage. My husband and I went for breakfast today for the first time. The atmosphere was light and airy, the restaurant was clean, our server was professional, very nice, and attentive. I ordered eggs Benedict and he ordered a southwest omelet (I believe it was called) with Pico de gallo on the side. We also each ordered a biscuit with gravy. Everything was fantastic. We don't get out for breakfast often, but this is someplace I'd definitely like to return to.

This was our first time dining at The Cottage and it was a great experience ! The short rib bagel sandwich was so flavorful and the red pepper jam was perfect on it. The fries were so crispy and delicious. The chocolate lover pancakes were yummy and decadent. Our server Enrique was so helpful and friendly. We loved the beautiful decor and atmosphere. We will be back for sure!

Me and the girls loved this brunch spot. It was a nice break from the many chains in the area (no disrespect) plus had something for everyone! The coffee is not just brewed but they have an espresso machine to make delicious lattes. There were all the breakfast classics or items with a southern spin. The donuts reminded us of a churro or funnel cake (which I love both of those)! We all were very happy with the food, beautiful decor and amazing service. Trey, Lori and Ashely were all so friendly and went beyond expectations. Actually I want to visit TN again just to see them and The Cottage again… was that good of an experience. 💗

Kristy and I made our way up to Gatlinburg for a family reunion, and like any good food lovers, we set out on a mission to find some unforgettable places to eat. We did the usual search—scrolling through YouTube recommendations and food blogs, but nothing prepared us for the hidden gem we stumbled upon in Pigeon Forge: The Cottage. This spot is, without exaggeration, the best breakfast and brunch experience we’ve had in the area. Open for only three months, The Cottage already feels like a staple. Its aesthetic is a perfect blend of modern Southern comfort, bright, airy, and all-white interiors that somehow manage to feel both sophisticated and instantly like home. What truly sets it apart, though, is the people. Ask for Greg or Elena at the bar, and you’ll understand immediately why this place works. Their warmth, friendliness, and genuine conversations made our visit feel less like dining out and more like being welcomed into a community. I’ve always believed a business is only as strong as the people behind it, and The Cottage nailed that balance. They’ve created a space where the food, atmosphere, and hospitality align seamlessly. If you find yourself in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or anywhere nearby, make this your first stop. Trust me, it’s a must-visit. I’ve included a few pictures so you can see why we’re still talking about it. Seth & Kristy

The Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a popular American restaurant with an on-site general store. The food is good, and the customers are friendly. It can get very busy, so be prepared for a long wait.
We arrived at 5, parking lot was empty, and was told we arrived before the dinner rush. They were correct when we left the parking had filled up. David B, our server was excellent. The food was delicious! I had chicken dumplings and my husband had breakfast. The manager came by to check on us. This will be our goto Cracker Barrel when visiting Pigeon Forge.

The food was good except for the meatloaf, I have no clue why but it’s like a 50 / 50 chance of having a not burnt meatloaf from any Cracker Barrel I go to from Tennessee to where I live in NC. I would never let burnt food leave the kitchen, the meat was alright but the sauce was not “saucy” which is what makes the meatloaf, it was basically a crusty burnt top.

BEST CRACKER BARREL EVER! The food was delicious, the wait staff friendly (shout out to our amazing waitress Angie - she was the best!) and overall a fantastic experience. Service was quick and we even bought some inexpensive things from the gift shop. Will be eating here again!

Service is great. Our waitress was fantastic. Food is awesome. Best of all, it's one of the locations that hasn't been messed with. Love the original decor and setup. Only suggestion: hire some good, reliable and responsible staff. There was open seating all around us, but a wait to be seated anywhere from 25-45 minutes. I know good help is difficult to find, but it Can be done.

Fantastic experience, every time, for over a decade. The people are always super sweet, helpful, efficient, and caring. Everything is quick. The food arrives so fast and well that you can't help but be surprised every time. My entire family loves this place. Never had a single issue with it. They definitely go above and beyond, and I trust them to make me some delicious food that always makes me pleasantly sleepy. Thank you, team, for providing such a good experience!

Reagan's House of Pancakes is a family-owned establishment in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, with two locations. Since 1986, it has been serving an extensive all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet featuring pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, eggs made to order, along with various pancake toppings and a fresh fruit bar. It's a popular spot for families and groups visiting the Smokies for reunions or retreats.
Great place for breakfast! We loved everything and the service was absolutely amazing. We arrived around 8am and were seated right away. We will definitely be back. One thing that would I would like to see is half and half for the coffee. They just had coffee mate .

My wife and I came here for brunch. The service was excellent! We ordered from the menu and opted out of the buffet even though it was a great deal. After ordering, we received our food very quickly. Everything was correct and tasted fantastic. If you're looking for pancakes in the Pigeon Forge area, look no further.

Reagan's House of Pancakes – A Sweet Start to the Morning My wife, our 3-year-old, and I stopped in for some breakfast buffet action at Reagan’s House of Pancakes. It's a smaller place, but we walked right in with no wait. As someone with a cooking and chef background, I always keep an eye on cleanliness and kitchen flow—and this place looked clean and well-kept. Funny moment right off the bat: I entered from the side and saw some kitchen staff out back feeding a group of geese and goslings with food scraps. The birds were thrilled, and while it raised a small flag in my mind about sanitation (just out of habit from my background), it wasn’t like they were touching the birds and then heading back to the line—it seemed harmless. As for the food itself, the buffet was surprisingly fresh for a setup like this. The French toast and pancakes were definitely the stars—soft, warm, and sweet. The sausage gravy tasted a bit canned, but everything else held up well. My 3-year-old ate for free, which was a nice bonus and always appreciated by parents. The service was fast, friendly, and to the point—exactly what you want in a breakfast rush. Our bill for two adults came out to just under $50, which is on the higher end for breakfast, especially for a buffet. So if you’ve got a big family, you might want to shop around a bit in town. But if you’re in the mood for sweet, classic breakfast favorites, Reagan’s is definitely worth a visit.
Dark O — Google review
It was food. My daughter’s French toast was good, but they don’t offer a children’s menu or portions, so she ended up with 5 slices. My husband liked his omelet, but said it was very basic. I got a side of country ham and 2 scrambled eggs as I knew I would have some of the French toast. The country ham was almost inedible. It was dry and tasted like a salt block. I realize “country ham” is supposed to be not sweet, but this was way more salty than anything else I’ve ever eaten. Our server was fine, not overly friendly, but fine. Bathroom smelled, was out of paper towel and the lock on the stall didn’t work. Overall there was nothing memorable about this breakfast.

Incredibly nice folks, good food, and good atmosphere. Came here with a voucher from a nearby hotel, and got a buffet experience for just $5/person! Got out of there for under $25 after tax. I plan to go back tomorrow morning before we leave town ;)

Reagan’s House of Pancakes did not disappoint! I had the chicken and waffles and they were absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Everyone in our group of five enjoyed their meals with no issues at all. The service was top-notch—friendly, quick, and attentive. Nothing but good quality service and great food. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Denny's is a casual American restaurant that serves classic American comfort fare such as all-day breakfast favorites. It is a great place for family-friendly dining and late night dining, as well as breakfast and group dining. Denny's is open every day of the week.
Food was good. The best hash browns I’ve had. The pumpkin pecan pancakes, the syrup was super sweet! The double berry pancakes were packed full of blueberries. Would go back. The employees were really nice.
Jessica P — Google review
We had a great breakfast at Denny's this morning! Our server Kaeli was brilliant, she was extremely attentive and kept our drinks topped up. We had requested turkey bacon with our breakfasts when we placed our order but unfortunately they didn't have any that day, so we were offered chicken tenders as a substitute because we don't eat pork which was extremely accommodating and appreciated. Would definitely visit again!
Chantelle K — Google review
Our food was still not ready for pickup 30 minutes after the order status said finished and ready for pickup. When we got it back to our room at the hotel next door, we opened it up to find one box dripping with some kind of liquid and my daughter's cheeseburger soaking wet, falling apart, looking like it had been dropped on the floor. I have her mine which was in better shape but it still made me nervous to let her eat it. My husband's French toast slam was cold, plain buttered Texas toast. He was pissed about everything and tried to take the food back but they wouldn't refund it bc he didn't have the receipt (which they hadn't given us to begin with). The front of the house was chaos and when we were picking it up people were walking out on their orders left and right. We were here a year ago and things were greatly idk what happened but they allllll messed up tonight iono

Do not think I will ever be back. The omelet cheese was not even melted. We waited over an hour to receive our food. The waitress was phenomenal though. She just needs to be at a more organized and staffed facility. I guess we were supposed to use the food on the ground at our table upon sitting as an appetizer. Check the dishwasher . It is not cleaning your silverware.

We visit this location often and lately it has really went down hill. Service and food. Went in today and it wasn't busy, still took 20 minutes for the 4 of us to be set. Then another 20 minutes before anyone even come to take our order. Everything we wanted they said they were out of. I finally told them never mind I didn't want anything. All we ended up getting was the banana pancake slam and 4 drinks and it was still over $30 just for that. Our server was not friendly at all and acted like she was aggravated because we said we didn't want anything. Hard to order anything when everything you want to order they don't have. It's sad that the majority of the restaurants in the area have all went down hill like this. If you don't have the majority of your menu why even open your doors? The quality of food definitely is not worth the price you pay for it.
Jessi — Google review
The staff here are incredibly hardworking! I stopped by late at night during a busy rush, they were clearly slammed but still stayed friendly, upbeat, and quick to take orders. Excellent customer service, even under pressure! The food was decent as usual, but the service was easily the best I’ve had at any Denny’s location.

Mindy M — Google review
First time at any Shoney’s. The service was good, the place was empty on a Wednesday night at 7:00pm. I thought the food might be like a Denny’s, I was right. Presentation was good, food was average, the fries were way undercooked. Given it’s in Pigeon Forge, the tax is higher, not sure if prices in general are higher too. In the end, not good enough for the price. We tried their cookie skillet. A little smaller than the menu suggested/looked, but it was good. Probably the best part of all of our meals.
Heather S — Google review
Waitress was great, atmosphere seemed good, like a fun place, but the food was horrible, the buffet was filled with old and empty food, not fresh. When you order chicken Alfredo it comes served with spaghetti noodles and the sauce lacks flavor. The chicken seems rubbery. We heard great things about shoneys but honestly I don’t see how. Again staff was great and we had no complaints there, but everything else was downhill once we were seated. The bathroom was trashed, looked like like someone left their meal in the sink, garbage overflowing. I ended up getting sick afterwards, food poisoning and heat are not a great combo.
Ryan H — Google review
After reading some of the reviews on google, I was reluctant to try this place, but I am glad I did. The parking lot was pretty empty (7 cars not including the 3 we drove), but we still decided to continue. The free lollipops were great for the kids, and we were seated by a nice waiter fairly quick. We got our drinks and orders in within 8 minutes of sitting down, and most of our party went to the buffet (I decided not to because of the reviews and lack of foods I wanted). The only complaint I heard was the chili was bad, which turned out to be vegetable soup. The Alfredo I ordered was the right noodle/sauce/chicken ratio, and my only complaint was the chicken was a bit dry, but not too dry. Overall the food service and atmosphere were good, although I would recommend coming on one of the ‘good’ days where the food is fresh.

I come to pigeon forge 2x a year and always make a stop at shoneys and never have a complaint I normally go to the other locations but chose to stop here this time because it was close to fun park that we spent the day at and when I tell you that was the worst mistake I made i mean it ! I had the fresh food bar and the food was horrible 😩 😫 I even told the waitress how old the food seemed to be and showed her and she replied with a smile and almost laughed and said they bring new food out when it runs out .my family ordered off menu instead because food on bar was terrible looking the pile of shrimp came out looking like a pile of 💩🤭 had to send those back to be remade the cheese burger for son was ok he enjoyed when we got bill we were charged for items that shouldn't have been on bill management corrected it on spot thank you for that service was terrible sever was giving 1 napkin per person and that is ridiculous and when we asked was that the policy she said yes not sure if server was new but she didn't return to table for 30 mins after they placed there order as I sat waiting for a refill on my water to wash down the over heat lamped food im not saying don't try shoneys but do not go to this one it was a terrible experience for me and my family we are ordering take out as i type 🤨

This was possible the worst buffet ever... powdered eggs. Everything swimming in water...most items tasted like they were thawed and refrozen every night ....random items like old chicken fried rice and tomatoes in the fruit bar....it was just unpleasant. Waiter and staff very nice tho.

I paid $50 for me and my girlfriend to eat breakfast there and we only ate 1 plate each off the buffet, will NOT GO BACK, and I have told everyone that I possibly can to stay away from that place!!! You guys should be ashamed of yourselfs. If the food and service was better I could see Paying that much but your food sucks and so does the service and the sky high prices. Will never go back. Now I can see why all the shoneys filed for bankruptcy 🤓🤣

Shoney's Family Restaurant is a family-oriented chain serving American diner-style food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The buffet offers scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home-fried potatoes, southern style grits, muffins, buttermilk biscuits, and fresh fruit. Along with the delicious breakfast food, Shoney's provides southern hospitality at your meal.
We dine here for breakfast and it was good. We haven’t been to a Shoney’s before, but seen it in different cities. We tried the buffet, which is $15 for adults and $8 for children. They have the usual breakfast items as well as a salad bar and a fruit section. We thought the price was good taking into account the amount of items and that the price of a breakfast entree is about the same as the buffet. There was lots of seating and lots of parking while we were there. Friendly and attentive staff filling up drinks as well as getting tables ready for new customers. They have different specials throughout the week, like steak nights, burgers, and more. So check out their website before you head down to a shoney’s.

Overall, it was a good experience! I'm from Atlanta, and since we no longer have Shoney's, we were excited to visit. We arrived in the afternoon. They offered a lunch/dinner buffet which was decent. My meal included the silver plate buffet with salad, fruit, bread, and dessert. The salad was excellent, with a great selection of toppings. The fried chicken and fish looked appealing. For my entrée, I had a beef patty with mushrooms and onions. It looked good but lacked seasoning. It would have been better with gravy or something similar. My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak, but it seemed more like a burger than steak. He wouldn't order it again. The fries weren't hot, suggesting they had been sitting out. There were six of us in total. While we might try another location, we wouldn't rush back to this one.

Food was ok the service was petty good some of the food was dried out and didn't taste all that great burgers where ok on the buffet bar. The salad bar was ok some items where kinda turning brown.
David 8 — Google review
Management should really pay attention in the owners. This buffet was very dry. The food had been in the containers for quite some time. It was obvious. Went to sit down. Waited over 10 minutes. I went to the register asked for a menu. They got me a waiter and a menu. It still took 15 minutes to get a hamburger. The hamburger wasn't bad but it took me another 20 minutes to get my check so I could leave. The place is very dated and not very clean. The staff was almost non-existent. They were there but they spent the majority of their time in the back. The lady working the buffet was sitting down doing very little of anything. There was at least 10 tables for over 10 to 15 minutes. Not one staff checked on any of the tables. I'm not trying to be blasting. I'm trying to give you information so that you know this restaurant is broken and needs to be fixed. The concept was great. Sad part is I wouldn't eat there again. I hope this helps management and ownership to improve. Oh by the way, I paid $21 plus a $5 tip for a hamburger, french fries and a Coke.
James P — Google review
The only reason I gave a 4 is because the restaurant seemed understaffed. We had an excellent experience. Tony was our server and was amazing! He's very polite, very attentive and even with being the only server, made sure to make his rounds to the 8-10 tables he had. (He was also taking/getting drinks, cleaning up dishes and cashing out checks) There was another gentleman that was keeping the buffet fresh and clean. We all (3 of us) had the buffet and enjoyed everything we had. Its Tuesday so it was all day breakfast. The buffet had salad, 2 soups, dinner, breakfast and dessert options. Overall, highly recommend for a decent inexpensive meal.
Abigail T — Google review
An extra star for nostalgia and memories. We went here simply because we hadn't seen a Shoney's in years. This one has the hot food buffet, which we also used to enjoy 20 years ago. The food is mediocre, the service is mediocre, but the nostalgia is why you want to go here. Don't forget the strawberry pie. It's not as good as it used to be but it's still a treat.
Diana R — Google review
Megan was wonderful! In fact, when she realized that I preferred Splenda as a sweetener (which they no longer offer), she shared her own personal supply of packages with me and that says it all. Good service and a good heart... Awesome!

Absolutely loved eating here! I was there for the breakfast/lunch buffet but only had breakfast. The breakfast was amazing, the place was not dirty at all. Even the men’s bathroom was clean and smelled good! We were served by Tracy, she was incredibly nice to us and even helped us with direction, she treated us as if we were friends. We were also sat by a young man who I don’t know the name of, but he was very friendly and looked like he had a good relationship with his co-workers. Amazing, I definitely know where I’ll have breakfast if I ever come back to Pigeon Forge!

McDonald's is a classic, long-running fast-food chain known for its burgers and fries. Most of the time, their food is great, but their fries can be quite old and cold. If you're able to find them fresh, however, everything else about McDonald's is usually great.

So I’ve been back maybe 5 times in 2 days I’m on vacation and this is the closest McDonald’s, mind you I work in one in nc. I asked for sauce on the side I got to the windows they gave it on the sandwich. Remade immediately. I asked for it in a 4 piece box which ik they can do, had to argue for it because the girl had an attitude about throwing the ones she made for me in a sauce cup. I get home and 1 of my sandwich’s was a sausage egg when I ordered a steak. Had to go back and get it remade by the manager. The next day which is today I get 4 cheese burgers and theirs no onions on it barley I had her remake it and theirs was only 3 flakes like Dpmo. I don’t feel like getting it remade a 2nd time. Don’t eat here ts is poorly ran and can’t cater to a fellow franchise employee who’s asking for a 4 piece box….

It was an okay experience. The food always tends to be slammed together at every location. It would be nice to see gloves and hairnets used.

No dine in options and awful service. If you’re thinking about getting a quick lunch you will be greeted by kiosk machines with no employees. If you happen to not know how to use the kiosk you’ll be waiting 15 minutes for someone who works here to show up and care enough to do their job. Luckily we know how to use the kiosks. As we sat down we noticed that the table was still wet as well as the seats. Once we got our food they forgot our drinks and dipping which can happen! Unfortunately that wasn’t the problem. God forbid I ask someone to do their job because the lady that I asked for our drinks (due to the dine in area not having any condiments, fountain drink station, utensils, or anything you would expect.) This lady rolled her eyes and handed me my drinks. My wife informed me they forgot our sauces as well so I went back and the lady stated that they are in the bag and I stated they were not and she said yes they are and rolled her eyes and walked away. Worst McDonalds experience I’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot. Moral of the story GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

This was an average McDonald's location. We ordered on the app for table service, but they didn't bring out our food to the table and just called our name. My burger was overcooked and dry. They forgot an order of fries for our order, and I had to go to the counter and ask for it.

The gal at the drive thru was helpful and nice. She helped us make our ordering so much easier. The blueberry coffee with cream and no sugar is sensational. The new churro coffee is super sweet but very flavorful. If you are in the area hit the drive thru for a quick pick me up.

Have come multiple times around 1:00-2:00 and they’re OUT OF DONUTS. For the rest of the day. The donut shop somehow runs out of ALL donuts and doesn’t make anymore. The last time I got a cream filled donut, there wasn’t even any cream inside. Just a small dollop on top. Do better Dunkin.
Barbie K — Google review
A little disappointing. I asked if they had any deals on two or three donuts, and they didn't. Then when I did get my order, they were in heart shapes, so they were actually smaller than normal. Paying $2 a donut, and not even getting normal size. I think I'm done with Duncan.

Hardee's is a fast-food chain serving fried chicken, big burgers and made-from-scratch breakfast biscuits. It has a well managed store with busy staff that got orders out quickly.
Food was great! There were only 2 workers in there, one brand new and being trained, so we waited a bit (which is no problem). Because of the 5-10 minute wait, we were given a free drink and fries. The staff was very kind. Bathrooms were clean. My first time going to Hardee’s and I definitely recommend!

POURED HOT COFFEE ON ME and gave me A HAIR IN MY BISCUIT instead of the egg!!! Didn’t put the lids on the coffees properly and handed the first one to me pouring hot coffee on my hand. I had to ask her to take the coffee from me and fix it, she didn’t try to help. She cleaned the cup, fixed the lid, and finally half-heartedly apologized while handing me the second cup, which the lid was not on properly and I asked her to fix it before handing it to me. My ham biscuit did not have the egg I ordered on it but did have the surprise of a HAIR in it!!! I will never be back.

I ordered online today (10/27/25). I got the new grilled cheese burger and the burger didn't even have cheese. I waited about 10 minutes past the time frame it stated my order would be ready and they were not busy what so ever. They only had 3 customers when I went inside and 1 car waiting other then mine so 5 total. I waited in my car they brought my order didn't bring the drink so I had to go in and get it. Got to work which i was almost late for becauae of waiting, opened the burger and it had no freaking cheese!!! Like seriously. So by this time I couldn't leave work to go back again. But at least my apple turnover was hot and fresh along with the fries. The food was good even though it wasn't right

The older woman who took our order 8/23/25 at 11:14 am was SO rude. I was shocked honestly. Slamming our cups down. Rolled her eyes when my husband asked if they had tater tot’s. Complete rude. I’ve attached a pic of the rude woman. 😊

Waffle House is a casual American diner chain known for its all-day breakfast and signature waffles. The menu features classic staples like biscuits, gravy, and sausage, as well as modern offerings such as Dover sole with fingerling potatoes and spinach. The restaurant prides itself on using regional farmers' produce in its dishes. While some locations may have a more modern ambiance, the fast service and friendly staff contribute to an overall enjoyable experience for visitors.
Great experience to share with my son. He’s always wanted to try Waffle House and while we were in town we made it. Smaller menu but awesome food options and great service. Plenty of parking and it’s always a plus that they’re open 24 hours. Definitely try and stop through again on the way home.
Scott F — Google review
Out of all the Waffle House restaurants I’ve been to, this one was the best one. From the staff to the food. It’s got the longest lines for a reason. And driving up to the Sevierville location is downgrading for sure because I’m a huge fan of Waffle House. That location isn’t on top of their game as well as this location. I’ve been to probably a couple dozen different Waffle House locations and this one was just the best of the bunch. Although the photo is from the Allentown Pennsylvania location (2nd best Waffle House I’ve ever been to) because I sadly don’t have any pictures from the pigeon forge location.

Burger King is a fast food chain serving burgers, fries and shakes. It is an easy in and out process with friendly service. The food was hot and quick - perfect for a quick meal.
I gave the place 5 stars. Is it a 5 star restaurant? No, but is any fast food restaurant a 5 star restaurant? Match your expectations to where you are eating and award stars accordingly. On my visit to this Burger King all the team members were polite, friendly, and helpful. They prepared my food to order quickly. The meal I got was standard burger and fries fare, but it was good. My wife and I ate for less than $15. At 5 Guys the same amount wouldn’t have fed one of us. Why pay double for basically the same meal, even if you are on vacation?
Ken — Google review
Went through the drive thru at 11 pm. And the frys were wet and soggy.. my stomach hurt after eating the burger also. Could be a one time thing. But I won't go back.. the staff was even uninviting.
Danielle Y — Google review
Late night drive thru. The parking lot is well lit and the speaker at the ordering screen works well and is clear. The curb along the payment window and the pickup window is quite high and will scrape your car up really bad if you drive too close. The staff is friendly and the order was fulfilled quickly and properly.
B — Google review
We ordered and had to wait a long time after each order even though there weren't many people there to eat. We sat inside and ordered thrice, and had to stay there for 1.5 hrs before leaving. Plus, each time the food was ready, there wasn't a good way to let us know it's ready.
Rushit D — Google review
Gotta say pretty disappointed in a large chain. The woman who took our order was pleasant, but the man (really a boy, men use words {longer curly black hair, tanner complexion}) literally did not say a word. He opened the window with an attitude, handed us the food, making weird eye contact. I had to tell him that “words work” at the end of the interaction.
Samuel C — Google review
Well first the man in the window argued whether we had an extra drink or not. When you spend $35 at midnight you know how many drinks you got! We had to load 5 kids up and drove from the hotel to get the food so yea just overlook the receipt first before assuming you know! Another worker a woman came over and showed him where we did in fact have another drink left to receive on our order and quickly gave it to us. She’s the only reason I could give two stars, may sound harsh but it’s really not considering once we got back to the room and ate our burgers i realized my burger looked and tasted like it had been sitting for hours, almost like rubber and a very off putting color and look. I should have took a picture but I was just wore out from pushing & walking 5 kids around then walking back to get In the van then drive back cuz the drive through is all that is open there that late. So I was over it. We love pigeon forge and we’re the type that eat the fancier stuff while we’re there if we want but we chose thise time to eat fast food a lot because we were actually on a school clothes shopping trip and also having a little fun before school started back. I don’t see fast food as Nasty or accept that’s supposed to taste and look bad because it is not! I have worked fast food since 16 and it’s pretty simple, make fresh food and only keep said food for the recommended time!! I would not serve someone something that I would not serve myself! If this place would just wake up on those things then I’m sure there would be no complaints! Burger King is Fire when it’s cooked right and fresh still! They even have a good amount of outdoor seating so we really wanted to return there since we make trips several times a year to pigeon forge in particular. I should have took that crap back but like I said already back at the hotel with all 5 kids out. We may give them another chance in the future but it’s really not very likely if I catch the same vibe. Beware and make sure they make your burgers fresh. Mine looked white almost it was disgusting
Mellisa S — Google review
Ordered two impossible kings for $7. Was asked to drive up and park near the door so they could make the burgers fresh. No problemo. Got back to our hotel and received what looked like one patty that was actually just cooked, and one patty, not sure if impossible or not, that looked like it had been sitting behind an oven for 30 years lol. Honestly would have preferred that they just told me they only had enough to make one burger, doesn’t make sense to take the time to make one fresh and use some super old stale patty for the other.
Victoria — Google review
The lady at the register was very nice and doing a great job. She said it was only her 2nd day. Keep her! However, we ordered an 8 piece of cheesy tots and received 7. My husband caught it before we left and they put another in. Then his $5-ish grilled bacon burger was pitiful. See photo. My Mushroom Swiss burger was good!

Great place this is my local McDonald's always service with a smile very friendly Mike the manager is awesome and Becky at the drive-thru window is always bright and cheery very friendly and of course the steak egg and cheese bagel that I go there for was delicious again couple that with a vanilla sweet cream cold brew Trenta with extra whipped cream from Starbucks down the road and you have the perfect breakfast
Tom B — Google review
This is a tale 5 of two McDonald's. One is through the drive through and is a pretty reliable way to get decent food quickly with good service. The inside is garbage. Whomever decided to remove the drink machine from the lobby needs to be taken out back and put down with the whole lot of shareholders I'm sure they were trying to appease. Poor kid at the register had his hands full while the bald manager guy made eye contact multiple times while I'm standing there holding empty drinks for a solid ten minutes. It was so absurd I wanted to give up but had to keep waiting on principle. Only reason we even went inside was for the refills after rewiring an outdoor electrical panel all morning. Good thing I have more pride in my work than that manager or I would start a fire.
Matthew L — Google review
I usually never have any issues here, but the manager working on 10/15 around 1:30–2:00 p.m. was extremely rude — not only to me, but also to the younger employee working the front. I understand it was a busy time, but the manager’s comment was completely unnecessary. I had placed a curbside mobile order and waited about 15 minutes after arriving, even after entering my parking spot number. When no one brought out my order, the app instructed me to go inside. There was a line, which I didn’t mind waiting in since I knew they were busy. When I got to the counter, they couldn’t locate my order and even asked if I had paid for it. Then the manager said, “It’s probably the mobile order that’s been sitting there for 30 minutes that nobody every picked up,” in a very dismissive tone. The employee at the front was polite and even apologized for the manager’s comments, but it was clear he was under stress and being treated disrespectfully as well. After waiting a total of about 30 minutes, I ended up with cold food for lunch. Unfortunately, this experience has really changed my view of this location. I hope management can address the situation — especially how employees and customers are being spoken to.

We stopped here to use the restroom... I've seen some bad ones, but wow!!!!! When I say the smell of urine was bad, it slammed me to the floor like a WWE superstar!!! There was actually puddles of it AND the stall had several pieces of toilet paper with actually feces on it all over the floor! Seriously people.... do better!

All I ordered was a couple of coffees but the drive-thru experience was very quick and super friendly. I was out in a couple of minutes and both gentlemen that I encountered were terrific - not the standard McDonald's employees.

Only 1 other customer there besides us. We thought it was odd especially at 9am. The food was ok. Egg McMuffin was barely warm. We were in a hurry so didn't ask to have it remade. Biscuits and gravy..... Well 1 biscuit and a very tiny bit of gravy wasn't worth the price.

Starbucks is a well-known coffeehouse chain originating from Seattle, offering its signature roasts and light bites along with WiFi access. With numerous locations worldwide, it's a popular choice for coffee enthusiasts. The menu features an array of drinks, from classic black coffee to flavored macchiatos. Despite being primarily known for its beverages, some locations also offer food options. Customers often appreciate the convenience of WiFi availability at Starbucks outlets.
I love Starbucks because it’s always consistent, no matter where you go, you know what to expect. I placed a mobile order through the app and walked in just as they were making my drink. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The store was clean and well-organized, and their cup display was fully stocked, which made me so happy since I collect Starbucks cups! Even better, they had some on sale, and I love finding deals on new additions for my collection. Great experience all around, as always!
Theresa N — Google review
During out visit, this Starbucks did not meet expectations on what you would typically expect visiting the coffee house. It seems this is a popular location even at 11 am. Many patrons considered m crowded the entry inside as well as the drive through. Yet very free chairs inside to sit considering they had so many people. I did noticed chairs outside however, during the winter it can be a bit chilly especially when there are no outside heaters. Purchased a breakfast burrito and with although the burrito seemed a warm to the touch, it was still frozen inside. The basic coffee seemed to be the only product on point. I over heared some specialized drink orders couldn't be made because they were missing ingredients like whip cream or strawberries. Furthermore, the trash cans were filled. The only positive side were the employees within this morning. They still had a smile on their face and although it seemed like they were over burredened I with the amount of visitors, attempted to acknowledge all the customers as they came in. When we approached I've of them regarding our frozen burrito, they attempted to rectify the situation.

I went to this location 3 times during our stay in Pigeon Forge. - There was a barista letting customers sample an iced coffee drink. He was so nice and funny. Made for a great atmosphere. - Even though they were busy, I ordered ahead and feel like my drink was made quickly and within the estimated time frame. - They accidentally left a topping off my drink, I walked up to the counter and was addressed immediately and they apologized and fixed the issue quickly and without question. - The bathrooms were clean and stocked.

They got my order correct, and they also got the wife's order correct. Mine would not have been a big deal, doubt that I would have even mentioned it. But if you get the wife's order wrong, well that's not good. That's a day changer. Got correct change back also. What else can a married man ask for, life is good.
Bill D — Google review
Sat in the drive thru for 30 min for my coffee to not have Carmel drizzle and maybe 2 cubes of ice and no flavor. I suggest taking the few extra minutes going down the road to the Starbucks inside the Food City

If you buy a medium coffee, you will have half of that coffee because the milk is badly textured
Nicolas A — Google review
First of all: i am a starbucks partner. I ordered a Cortado with almond milk and a Trenta Strawberry Acai Lemonade with light ice. Cortado was only half filled with milk. Official recipe says 5oz milk though! And when I asked to refill the cup, the barista started arguing with me that this is how it should be, sorry, but maybe your barista needs better training. Trenta Strawberry Acai had regular ice in it and not light as ordered. Also the 5 key moments were NOT fulfilled: no greeting, no message on the cup, no smile...nothing. Made me feel totally miserable as a partner, and even worse as a customer.

A couple of weeks ago, we made a much-needed late-night stop at the Burger King in Pigeon Forge, and it truly hit the spot! The drive-through attention to detail from the staff was remarkable – they were friendly and efficient, ensuring our order was perfect. It was a very good experience overall, delivering exactly what we were craving at that late hour. Definitely a solid choice for a quick and satisfying bite!

I’d give it a five star but in general, I’m gonna give it a four star only because they got rid of my churros. They were so freaking delicious!!However, during our most recent visit, we experienced outstanding service from the staff and our food was made fresh to order and everything tasted so good. I’ve always had good experiences at this location until today. The drive-thru worker mumbled and was hard to understand, and when my dad (who is slightly hearing impaired) asked her to repeat herself, she responded rudely. At the window, she seemed irritated when we asked for a drink tray and rolled her eyes. When handing over our food, she was rude again when my dad asked a simple question about the bags. We called to speak with the manager, but she brushed it off and didn’t seem to care. Having worked in fast food and management for 8 years, I understand the stress—but there’s never an excuse for poor attitude or lack of professionalism. Very disappointing experience. Will be taking my business to the one on the Parkway from now on!

We stopped by here after leaving Dollywood last week. It was the closest to the park that was open at 830pm. The staff was rude. They didn't want to serve us, but did. Then they started turning customers away and locked the doors with about 20 of us customers still inside eating. We didn't care for that, but it was the staff's rude attitudes that made it all worse. They lost out on a lot of business that night, and we won't be going back.

SUPER nice lady putting the crowns together, couldn't have been any nicer!! food was sub par, even for BK. they were so worried about getting the food out the drive thru they didn't bother making the onion rings crispy (very limp/flimsy) and the bugers were literally thrown together/falling apart. taste was way off, couldn't eat ½ of it.

If you are in the Pigeon Forge area, this is your coffee shop! The atmosphere is so cute and fresh, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The coffee was perfect! The owner said they get their beans freshly roasted. SO good! Also, the owner’s daughter makes different homemade baked goods throughout the week that are delicious. If you don’t want coffee, they have a variety of drinks to choose from as well as lunch items. This is the only coffee shop I visited while on our family vacation and will miss it when we go home. ❤️
