Nice location. Friendly service. We missed the breakfast menu by 15 minutes, but the staff came through and was able to prepare the French Toast for us. The sandwich was delicious and the fries were great. Highly recommend having a meal here.

I really fancied some French toast/ brunch and this place was one of the few who had it on their menu until 12pm. The portions were generous, I did have to flag the waiters down a couple of times for service as it gets quite busy. Overall a pleasant experience and decent quality food.

Good food and very nice and refreshing lemonade and iced tea. Quick service even at busy hours. Staff is attentive and carries huge load of stuff on their trays. Negative aspects where only other guests (screaming kids or cigar smoking men).

We found King’s Caffe a bit overrated. We visited the Rijeka branch on a Sunday and tried a hamburger, fish & chips, and a minced meat burrito. The hamburger was fine for a child, but the fish had thick, tasteless batter and the burrito was very spicy (even for me, and I usually like spicy food). Homemade iced tea was unusual, and non-alcoholic beer was okay. The bill was around €70. Thinking maybe it was just bad luck, we also tried the Krk branch. Sadly, it was very crowded and even for simple fries and a beer by the sea, it felt overhyped. Both locations weren’t a great match for us, though others might enjoy the lively atmosphere.

We were a bit skeptical at first because it is called a “food pub” but we we proven really wrong. In a few words: “one of the best meals I ever ate”. Service was also really nice, we, as your traditional tourists, were asking them if they could make a pretty major change on one of the dishes. The guy was really chill and told us that he didn’t know for sure if it was possible but he was going to try for us anyway and in the end was it possible. And if that wasn’t good enough already, the food was also really decently priced. We really regret that we only found this place on our last day because we definitely would have come again. Genuinely not one point we could criticize them, 10/10.

Nice food, super tasty sandwitches, nice drinks, fast and kind service, good value for money in the city center of Rijeka. Toilletes are very small, literally... On lady's room, almost not possible to sit with door closed...

Beer was nice and cold, however so was the service. Asked if we could pay with Euros, which was accommodated, however it wasn't disclosed that our X2 pints of beer (5 Euro) would incur a 3.5 Euro surcharge due to them needing to make a "profit like any exchange". Felt it was excessive. Would have happily had another beer or two there should that not occurred.

The work hours are not correct and the place closes at two, and the top floor does not have adequate ventilation to get all the smoke out. Otherwise quite a nice place to grab a drink.

Great ambient in a style of an irish pub, great classic rock music, big choice of beers. It has small terrace which is opened during whole year. In the the winter it's heated so that you can enjoy your drink in comfort, and in the summer it's one of the best terraces to be on in the city. Never sunny with constant breez. Just what you need in summer heat. Their choice of live bands that perform there is excellent, and whenever they have live music, you are guaranteed good time.

Nice pub, decorated in Game of Thrones style. It has a lot of live music shows, mostly rock and alternative genres. Good place to have fun in Rijeka, especially for students.

We stumbled upon this place during our morning walk, and couldn’t resist taking a break right there, it’s such a cool place and Cure was on their playlist :) The coffee was really (REALLY) good! We can only imagine this place during Friday night, such a pitty we couldn’t check it out as we were leaving Rijeka, but next time for sure!

Amazing place. Great selection of draft beers and other drinks. We sat outside which had a really good atmosphere without being too loud. The surroundings are lovely as well. Highly recommend coming here and having many beers while playing cards.

The girls wanted to see St Vitus Cathedral...a very round construction and a great place to dance. This bar is next to said Cathedral and also the tunnels used as WW2 air raid shelters. No traffic to annoy you but usual piped music. Stopped for a quick coffee and beer on the small front terrace; grabbing the table in the shade. Lovely waitress and a very interesting interior in which Paulicarus showed me around. Has a mezzanine seating area. Had a 5.2% Hirter beer from Austria...who used to rule here! Facilities better for us men according to Madge. Good value.

A lovely authentic pub experience, loads of craft beer to choose from. We went Friday night, the music was great and the waitresses really made our night. Highly recommend if you're a fan of beer.

Sorry to say that the waiter that was working today on the evening was super rude and insulted when we were paying . She said that we can not pay separately and that she doesn’t have time to explain and serve properly ! Super rude and we hope to never see her again bcs for sure we’re not coming back ! Otherwise the place is very nice and the beer is good .

Very nice pub in the heart of Rijeka. They got plenty of fun cocktails and the atmosphere is great. They buy newspaper everyday so you can go enjoy your morning coffe while reading about the daily events in Croatia and the world.

My favourite place in Rijeka. Great location in the city centre Korzo. Great choice of teas ( they even have Sencha my fav Japanese tea) and also great selection of beers. Barbara the lovely waitress is always friendly, very professional and adorable. Highly recommending !

Pretty rude staff if you're not a local that's used to it. Ordered something, got something completely different and didn't feel comfortable asking for a replacement. Tables are clean, bathrooms are nice. Accessible to wheelchairs but the service could definitely be more friendly.

The place is amazing and has great ambience. The staff were very helpful and kind. We ordered tea (was super sweet) and hot wine (it wasn’t sweet, needed some extra sugar).

Drinks are very good. Margarita is very strong, but the service at night is not great. We was siting there for an hour and they did not come to ask us if we want anything else. I get that they want to close exactly in 12:00pm but when they come to us at 11:25pm and we ask for another drink (our second to be exact) they said no. No 'last round’ warning, nothing. They are closed and want us out. They hand us the bill at 11:35pm and stand there for us to pay and get the hell out of there.

Good variety of dishes, nice and cozy atmosphere without too posh elements that could be seen in places nearby. The most distracting part was that waiter was overloaded with servicing all the people. Fish soup was awesome - you can find nice mix of seafood in it.

This was my second time in Rijeka and send time at BRASSERIE. Second time is the charm. Good service and very good food and drinks. 2 more weeks and a few more visits here. The salad with feta was great!

A really nice place to have breakfast at. They have about 5 different breakfast menus to choose from and the waiters were friendly. The food itself was good and the price was fair. 4 out of 5 stars because the sevice took a littke bit long and when we ordered a second coffee the forgot about it. All in all recommendable though :)

The food taste okay but not very good. The seating area is average as well as the service. The prices are good for the portions.

This is a nice place to hang if you want to drink. Waitors are happy (2018) but service isn’t great. They have a menu with small, medium or large portions. It’s a bit messy so food won’t come out at the same time and the chefs has issue with knowing what medium or rare is.

One of my favorite places to eat in Rijeka. Moderate prices, solid portions, tasty food, large offer of dishes and draught beer. On the minus side, longer waiting times on rush hours and total absence od bread if you order some pasta or fries...unless you ask for it. In total - great place to eat in town center.

I had one of the best risotto (sea-food) I have ever had. I was aloner and had a chance the fully concentrate on the taste and enjoy what they had prepared for me. Literally, I was in tears while eating. They totally nailed it, it was a BLAST.

This place has a great vibe and was full of young people chatting with friends. And the old school rap playlist was surprisingly refreshing and added to the cool atmosphere. We intended to sit and play cards here while enjoying a (cheap and delicious) beer - sadly, we forgot the cards but still sat and enjoyed this great spot. If we are ever find ourselves in Rijeka again, we'll certainly be returning.

This is an unique and beautiful Cafe! I would recommend it to anyone who is in Rijeka and has some hours to spend! The waiters are very friendly and knowledgeable about the city! Would give 10 stars if possible!

I asked to use the bathroom and the barman didn't ask me to pay immediately which was nice. He speaks a little English and he was really nice and polite, also ot was cozy and comfortable. I asked for a Caffè machiato but he gave me cappuccino but it was good 😁

Treasure hunt!! My experience here is not what you would think… it was different… good different. It was just another regular day, it was 31 degrees, and I was searching for WiFi and air conditioning. I was met with a lovely staff showing me a WiFi password and treating me to a lovely iced coffee, and since it is a book-cafe, I figured I would find me a book to read. Only all the books are in Croatian of course. Still, I grabbed what I thought was just a random book, but fate must have sent me in the direction of this exact book. Out of it fell a little piece of paper, dated back to 1773 that sent me on the treasure hunt of my life. You probably don’t believe me, so see for yourself. I will not reveal too much, but if you want to experience this, look for a book written by Andrej A. Golob, with a striped stone on the cover. Good hunt!

Popped in last night but it was heaving...back on Tuesday afternoon and found a table. A young crowd in this bohemian bar. Madge only wanted a coffee Paulicarus a Laško. Another place where the music dominates conversation inside...luckily an outside table became free...albeit with traffic noise and scaffolding. 3€ for a 0.5l bottled beer and 1.20€ for the coffee. Good service by Margarita. I can see why it is popular.

Norma and Liza brought me here after a walk through the tunnels. ( Emerging from the cool tunnels into afternoon heat is a shock....cool beer needed.) The outside terrace was shaded but too hot for girls of a certain age. Luckily the inside has aircon...and loud pipped music of course. Had two small Laško, served in a wine glass!? Caters for the younger crowd. Prices OK. Good value food, incl burgers of several types., incl fishy ones.

Cool venue situated in Rijeka's old town. Except a variety of drinks they offer also delicious finger food most of which is locally sourced. Always lively and bringing you a great vibe so I highly recommend it. Great music too!

Looks like the place had its better times in the past and did not recovered. The staff is quite unfriendly, poor selection of cheap alcohol and opens on Friday at 23:00. It was empty when we were there, while the old town opposite the street was full with young people.

We stumbled into Phanas Pub during a Hen Do Holiday. Our aim was to dance the night away to retro/old/new pop & international music, which we manage to do in Phanas:D Not a lot of places playing popular (international) music in Rijeka, but Phanas' DJ was doing a great job. The Pub was not too crowded (at least before we arrived;P) , so we had plenty of space to dance and enjoy ourselves. The locals were nice and welcoming. Unlike the bartender lady who was quite rude, and did not seem too keen to serve us, or even smile:D At least, the drinks she made were strong enough. Shoutout to some of the Managers who let us go upstairs, and ask for the Bride's favourite songs; and who helped us catch a taxi back to Opatija!:)

Were there before Corona and now after Corona. Not as much action than before, when we visited they had no croatian draft Beer only Heineken and it's a little bit more expensive than in other Bars in Rijeka. But the wooden Bar inside is very nice decorated and it's clean. The Waiter looked not so motivated. I Sadly have to say it's not the same anymore 😪

This place didn't let my friend in because he was too young. Not sure what law says someone at age of 22 can't enter places like that. I would suggest you to skip this and find more friendly places like Bačva, Kings or Dnevni boravak.

I recently visited this lovely café tucked away in a quiet and serene location. The setting is idyllic, providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, I was a bit disappointed when I noticed that the outdoor tables were worn and appeared dirty. It detracted from the overall charm of the place. On a positive note, the restroom was clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. One aspect that left me wanting more was the pricing. Waited a very long time just to have the table cleaned up after previous guests. Waited an even longer time to get our coffees. Overall, poor service. Nevertheless, nice athmosphere and great views to the Theater park.

We came here to eat with a friend and asked for both the English and Croatian menus. We noticed that the prices were different on each menu. When we asked the waiter about it, he said he didn’t know why. We waited for at least 30 minutes for our food, while people who came after us were served before us. If you come here to eat, make sure to ask for both menus and be careful not to get overcharged. That said, the food we had was delicious.

The building is nice, with a lovely terrace in the shade in front of the building. It should be all pleasant. But... (I'm not talking about the food, I had a burger with fries and this can't be considered as "Haute cuisine"): I arrived for lunch early, then a large group arrived. Clearly this large group had priority. The cooks were busy preparing the food for this large group, which for me meant a 45 min wait. Obviously more money for the restaurant from a large group than from an individual. As to myself I won't go back there.

The best pizza Neapolitana in Rijeka! The dough is crusty and light, the toppings are of a good quality and in a just right amount. True feast for your taste buds. The price is also reasonable. The biggest downside is annoying pigeons outside, it may be better to sit inside. The staff is also a bit lost but I the food is worth it

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent visit to Cont left much to be desired. The terrace was visibly dirty, with litter scattered on the floor and pigeons walking across tables, even cleaning themselves there. The benches were missing slats and covered in rust, and the few stool cushions available were badly stained. Tables were sticky and unclean, attracting wasps — clearly not maintained with care. Service was no better. I wasn’t greeted or welcomed in any way, and there was no menu provided. Instead, I had to choose from a verbal list of pizzas. The waiter showed no smile or friendliness throughout the visit. My drink came without ice despite the 32°C heat, and the pizza was just average — nothing that could redeem the poor atmosphere or service. Overall, this was a very poor experience. I wouldn’t recommend Cont, but feel free to try it for yourself — just don’t say you weren’t warned

It is a bar. There is no food. There are activities most nights, ranging from board games to a variety of pub quizzes. Their beer selection is alright, but they do have a house beer (Grif) which is pretty decent. At the time of writing, they had a house pilsner, IPA, and Vienna lager.

Amazing pub to relax and have a few drinks. The offer a vast selection of beers and cocktails. Comfortable seating and enjoyable pop, classic rock and occasional live music. Had the pleasure to be attended by Ana, she was energetic and had a big smile while taking our drink order. She was extremely polite, knowledgeable about the drinks and made our visit enjoyable. Literally every kind of Rakhia you could hope to find! I was staying very close by and ended up here as it seemed to be the most lively spot with the best music. It’s quite small and people smoke inside so I didn’t stay very long.

We ended up there on our only night in Rijeka. We were lucky the place wasn't full. Our bartender, Lovro, had time to talk to us and tell us about their selection. He was fantastic, knew what we needed before we did. Great company and great service. The selection is fantastic. They make their own brand of rakia - a must-try! Shame they don't sell it though. Overall, great experience! We had no hangover next morning, although we had "a few" :)

Nice bar on a secluded square to the side of Korzo shopping centre. There is plenty of outside seating and a pleasant interior. Paulicarus opted for a large Laško at 3.40€ whilst Madge had a 0.1l wine for 3.30€. Piped music on the cusp of being too obtrusive for me. We had fast and efficient service. ( bars in Croatia tend not to serve scoobie snacks like crisps and nuts; so bring your own...restaurants serve food..they do not want "drinks only please".....a lot of visitors struggle with this!)

The drinks were fine and the waiters were kind, however they only accept cash, which is a shame regarding that the place is nearby the main square. This caused us some inconvenience, because the nearest ATM charges 4 euros for a withdrawal, and the minimum amount withdrawable is 20 euros. It would be so much easier if they had a terminal.

Nice bar with a nice service by Rijeka's famous 'mill fountain'! Would definitely recommend it! Just one tiny constructive critique; they only accept Croatian currency - cash, no cards no Euros. Hopefully in near future they'll add more ways of payment. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience!

Having sat in bars either side we decided to come here. Lovely spot by the National Theatre and next door to King's Caffe. Sat on the lovely square on a September evening, perfect. Madge ordered a small wine, Paulicarus an Aperol Spritz at 5.90€. Impressive interior. Good selection of beers etc. Piped music. Good service. They serve a simple food selection, breakfast and brunch / lunch. ( somebody eating at 8 pm.)

Don’t come here if you’re a group of foreigners. Went there as a group of ~10 after dinner to get cocktails. All the waiters we interacted with were very rude. Our waitress forgot one of the drinks. After waiting for over 15 minutes, we tried to flag another waitress who straight up ignored us (she looked at us straight, shook her head and didnt come up to the table. I guess she wont go to tables that aren’t assigned to her?). Finally I went inside to ask for the drink and our waitress happened to be behind the counter. I explained the situation and she didnt even say anything, just started making the drink. I tried to ask if she would bring the drink outside but again got just awkward silence. I decided to take the silence for a yes and started walking outside, at which point she finally addressed me yelling “can you wait?”. We were a group of about 10 so at the end we asked to split the bill and just got told quite rudely under no circumstance was that possible. Overall terrible service. There was clearly a language barrier, but there was obviously no attempt from the waiters to overcome it.

The food was uncooked, I ordered a burger, the meat was nasty, the waitress was so rude I can’t even tell you I got up, and I asked if I can pay for our bill, she then said to sit down and wait for another waitress to pay our bill The first waitress rolled her eyes at us all the time we asked something, never coming here again. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.

If I could give a 0 I would. We have ordered two platters, cheese and meat. The waitress, to start with was really unpleasant when we enquired about menu and totally out of focus. We waited for 30 min to get our order, and when we politely asked what is happening with our order the waitress became very unpleasant and rude giving us explanation that made no sense. After waiting for another hour, we decided to cancel our order. During the wait time we could clearly see plates coming out of the kitchen to tables that came after us. I need to emphasise that the bar wasn't full, and not too many guests were ordering food. By far one of the worst experiences I had ever had, as waitress have never before screamed at me. The only saving grace was the waiter who offered complementary drinks, and appologiseed for a poor behaviour. Please avoid. There are so many better wine bars in Rijeka anyway. And BTW, the price for the two platters came at €35, but obviously the waitress did not care enough to make that kind of money for the business.

Nemo pub is a quaint, good quality pub with many interesting, tasty drinks to offer, pleasant staff members, and most importantly reasonable prices. I can't stress how good the location and price ratio of this pub is. I would recommend visiting if you get the chance to do so. I had a great time here.

Nemo is good for picking up intelligent sexual installations disguised as people. At night. During the day, it's a place to have some fine conversations in between errands. Go there and check it out. It's where Rijeka cultural scene dwells (quite literally, I'm afraid). Marriage market for the NGO people and freelancers. By all means an intricate place. ;) Picked up a smoking hot Aussie there once. Good times.

We had very bad experience here.. The bounser They beat us up. They didn't even ask us anything, they didn't listen to us. If we had done something wrong, they should have thrown us out and not let us in, but they didn't. They dragged us out and beat us badly. This is the second time we have been here, there were 6 of us. And we are foreigners, so I have a doubt that they treated us this way. Highly not recommended for foreigners

I went to the club last friday and at first I thought it wasn't that good after seeing the reviews but after going I changed my mind. I wouldn't say very good but it's good. A girl sitting at the ticket counter to enter is amazing. I like it. You can visit one day.

the music is nice, the djs and bartenders are amazing but the rest of the stuff is terrible. the security guys were extremely rude for no reason trying to intimidate me and my friend. moreover, the toilet door was broken and we were stuck there for 40 minutes. we tried to call CRKVA but they didnt answer the phone. we had to contact our friends for them to somehow help us get out ( we were alone there ). after we managed to get out we went to the stuff to ask them to fix that door later, as it turns out to be a popular thing for people to get stuck there. not gonna lie, it was quite a scary experience with no one being able to hear us with the music blasting loud. the stuff started to say things like why are they responsible for that and trying to shift the blame on us. this is unbelievable and outraging behavior. after we paid for tickets, drinks, they don’t consider customer’s safety important. overall, if you don’t mind being disrespected and downgraded by some of the stuff, thats a nice music place.

This place is... Odd. The bartenders are nice and the person selling tickets to get in was nice enough. Drinks weren't bad but for a busy club it's what I'd expect but with good prices. 2 things stood out are the location and the Music. The location is in a very run down area that looks rather sketch. Once you get to the opening it's a tiny bit nicer like they took care of the entrance to make it far more inviting than the surrounding buildings. The other is the music. I have to had it to the DJs.. They were playing what the people wanted but the music was (I may be a little wrong) electro trans at 160-180 bpm. They're not playing anything you would find at a normal club (remixed pop). Think the skids from letter kenny.. But again they had their audience and that's who they play to so good in you. Don't expect this to be a normal club.

Space is amazing, bartenders are friendly and fast. Security, on the other hand are TERRIBLE. Very unprofessional and aggressive.

The service was very good, polite and willing to serve us. The food was delicious and came on time. The beer was very cold, which was a pleasure on such a hot day. The place was clean. I will definitely visit it again when I come to Rijeka again.

We took one portion, there were two types fish and squid. It was such a big portion that it was enough for two. Nice atmosphere on the seashore. Fast service.

For our short trip, we ate at this restaurant twice. The first time was last Friday, when we ordered two pizzas. They were delicious. We drank a draft beer called Karlovačko, which I totally recommend. On Sunday, we went again and ordered two pizzas and fried chicken with fries. This time, the pizzas weren't as good—they were a little bit sour—but the chicken was great. I will definitely come back to this restaurant because of the food, beer, great service, and, of course, the priceless view of the sea.

The portions are really big, enough that two people can share one plate without feeling hungry after. The seafood, both the fish and the squid, was tasty and cooked the way it should be. What made it even nicer was the setting close to the water, where the whole place feels more relaxed. The food came fast, so we didn’t have to wait long. It was one of those evenings where everything worked well, from the service to the atmosphere.

Great location, very close to the sea with a lovely atmosphere, especially in the evenings. The food is worth recommending. However, the service could use some improvement. While some waiters are friendly and professional, others would benefit from better training in guest approach and hospitality. We had a disappointing experience when we couldn't get a table for two in a half-empty restaurant. The waiter showed no willingness to accommodate us, even though nearby, three guests were dining at a table of the same size. Unfortunately, we had to leave and find another restaurant. A more welcoming attitude would make a big difference, especially for a returning guest.

This place was beautiful, right next to the sea. But the food, awful. We got pizzas and they were undercooked, not tasty, not seasoned. I think I cooked better pizza at home. And also there were no options for meals. You only have 2 fish options, some pizzas and some pasta. We wanted to sit down at a table and the waiter had his stuff on it. We waved him wanting to ask is the table free to use, he looked at us and just waved his head. We were sitting with his rags and equipment on the table. The food was once again disgusting. Overall bad staff and bad food but a beautiful location.

There were seven of us there and it was really very good. The food was good, the people were nice and friendly and there was a beautiful view of the sea. The waiter who served us had long hair and was really nice. The prices were also good. Highly recommended. Thank you for a nice evening.

We came to try the Octopus under the bell. The Restaurant is across from the water And the octopus was Caught Fresh that Morning. Exceptional quality They’re also famous for their meat We had the steak that was cooked on the charcoal grill that was stuffed with mozzarella Andwrapped with bacon A Sublime experience They also have pan beer on tap We had the gold beer which was very very good. The service was brilliant. We were served by Vlad who explained how the Restaurant cooked on charcoal and how everything was called fresh. I can’t Recommend this restaurant highly enough

It was my 2nd time taking dinner but today the Waiter behaviour was very bad. Not at level of restaurant, area and client expectation. One person can destroy years of customer satisfaction. Very bad experience with one water uncharged of our table. All my respect to rest of stuff, and to waiter serve us previous day the food was very delicious.

The service was top at this place. The waiter was the funniest waiter I’ve ever met. Would recommend the place to everyone who is in Rijeka. The food is worth the price you’re paying and even more. The waiter zoran deserves a pay raise for how funny he was. Would definitely return to this place for sure for the waiter alone 😂

Went on a Friday night and was so much fun! Live singer who sang so many different songs in various languages. The entire restaurant was singing along. Great vibes. Service took awhile with drinks but the place was packed so next time I will order 2 at a time.

If passing Rijeka using the nearby motorway Must see and feel the place, Sanctuary of Holly Mother, very important place to All Christians and not only from Croatia, come and pray here, just leave your prayers here ...you will be listened 🙏 ...also nearby castle with a fantastic panorama view only 2min. walking distance . Do recommend both places!

Regardless of the Castle nearby, this Church is worth a visit in it's own right. It has become a place of pilgrimage for many since the Pope donated the beautiful painting of Mary (Lady of Trsat) in 1397. Some really beautiful murals inside this late gothic church restored with Baroque renovations.

This is one of the oldest Marian shrines in Croatia. According to legend, in 1291, the Holy House of Nazareth, believed to be the home of the Holy Family, was miraculously transported by angels to Trsat. In 1294, it was said to have been moved again to Loreto, Italy, where a major Marian shrine now stands. In 1367, Pope Urban V gifted the Trsat sanctuary a revered icon of the Mother of Mercy, which continues to attract devotion from countless pilgrims to this day. The sanctuary showcases a blend of architectural styles—Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, and Biedermeier—as a result of centuries of renovations and expansions. Adjacent to the church is a Franciscan monastery, founded in the 13th century, which has also undergone multiple restorations to reach its present form. Trsat is considered one of the most important pilgrimage sites in western Croatia, drawing large numbers of pilgrims and visitors every year. The site is especially vibrant on August 15, the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, when major celebrations take place. In 2003, Pope John Paul II visited the shrine, further emphasizing its spiritual and cultural significance.

In the curch lobby, we also have bought home made domestic products, that were sold by local women, humanitarian workers. Jams, ajvar, gingerbreads and juices - everything was excellent

Fukuro is authentic and the speed and caring was out of this world!!!! I sat at the bar and I had high expectations because I read the comments about this location. Well, the comments were all correct and more. Two individuals took care of everything at an incredible speed without forgetting about the quality. I made my own meal and it was delicious. Just typing this comment, I want to go back and it is only 0700. I sat at the bar so I could see everything including the process and I was totally impressed. The only thing I was mad is that I forgot their names to add to the review. I am going back today again. If you are in Rijeka, forget about the other two places, this is the place. I will take more pictures and videos.

Amazing food, honestly none of the sushi roles disappoint. Please try the Godzilla, spicy tuna & spicy salmon rolls. The chef is one of the most lovely people we have met during our trip. We sat at the bar and enjoyed an amazing meal.

The food here is very good and fresh. The restaurant is not too big, so we recommend reserving just to be sure you have a spot. We came to eat here multiple times on our vacation in Rijeka. The sushi is the best we ever had and the friendlyness of the staff made the evening even better (especially Putu and Evan). We definitly recommend going here when you’re in Rijeka.

It was good, but for me nothing more than good at this price. Because the pieces were close to each other it was hard to get them out. I was glad there were 2 pairs of sticks and 4 soya sauces.

A few days ago, we arrived in Rijeka and happened to stumble upon this charming spot. It looked inviting, so we decided to return the next day for brunch—and we were pleasantly surprised. The interior was well-designed, with a comfortable and welcoming ambiance, and the prices were very reasonable. As soon as we sat down, we were warmly greeted by a friendly waiter with a face tattoo—a polite and courteous young man who immediately made us feel at ease. He recommended several dishes, and the Pinsa Burrata Mortadella, in particular, was outstanding. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Cosy and clean place with a good coffee. We tried long espresso and also this “coffee-cocktail” (see in the picture). We have returned here again and we were always satisfied with both the taste and the service.

Polite staff, decent service, pleasant enough ambiance – all of it becomes irrelevant when you feel like you've been ripped off. I paid 3,90 € for a spritzer (1 dl wine + 2 dl sparkling water). Sure, the price was listed, and yes, I could’ve checked. But it’s about the principle and that sinking feeling that you’ve just been overcharged for something that’s simply not worth it. The day before in Italy, I had an Aperol Spritz for less money – and it even came with a bowl of chips and some peanuts. I know, it’s not a direct comparison, but please don’t try to convince me that 1 dl of sparkling water in Rijeka, overlooking a concrete garage roof, is worth 0,90 €. It just isn’t.

A hub for eastside admins, workers, CEOs, parents, shoppers etc. Absolutely amazing staff, at the head of which is Bojana - the best waitress in the city. It's a place where borders between working classes seemingly merge, where we make deals, plans, where we optimize and conspire, where we help each other and build, celebrate and re-inforce our lives. The service is high-quality, super-fast, the coffee cream is divine, the coffee luxurious and hot, and where kindness of the staff and the regulars is guaranteed. Be there early in the morning and see what I mean! In a nutshell - corporate/working Rijeka at its best.

It is also quite expensive for what you get (for example half a glass of lukewarm orange juice) and there is no advance notice that you can only pay in cash so you suddenly have to go find an ATM…

We stopped by for a late night drink. Beautiful little place- nice location/view, very nicely decorated, and very friendly service. Come for the giant Frida Kahlo portrait, stay for the pleasant vibe.

Cafe is well located, next to the Leaning Tower. Came here to enjoy this view and have coffee with sweets but left the cafe in a bad mood. Smoking is allowed inside (no sign on the front door), there was no sweets, although it is stated here, and apparently it coincided that payment by card didn’t work.

First and foremost, a good beer selection, craft beers galore, mostly croatian though. The terrace is nice and mostly in natural shade. And from there, most destinations in Rijeka are downhill 😁

Very nice bar, very wide range of beer selection. The bar tender Ivan was super, polite funny and nice. If you are a beer type of person, this is the place for you after a long day at the beach. Also the prices are beeeeery reasonable.

Beertija Klub was awesome. They had great outdoor seating with a water sprayer in the summer to cool us off. Great beer selection with variety of types (blondes, IPAs, porters, etc) and from various locations. They don't have food but there's some decent restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance.

Great international as well as Croatian beer selection, upbeat atmosphere, good music. You're guaranteed to love it. There's a bakery across the street-grab a burek and then go after Beertija's Belgian beer selection. The name of the bar is a play on old school word birtija (dive bar) and English word beer.

Great example how can you ruin a good place. The staff is ok, you can have some great beverages and food nearby the sea. But seriously, why on earth you cannot operate a decent toilet? People are eating and drinking here!!!

Drink and snack place. They make great coffee btw. I didn't taste the rest but I'm sure it's a good quality. They have shadowed places and with a bit of luck they serve the tables., But better just order pay and tell your place. Friendly staff helps u in every language they speak. Great little place, a real pub, nothing like the other King's pubs in Rijeka and the surrounding area. Real friendly bartenders who enjoy good company and are always for a pint. The pub, while small, has a lot of excellent personality and amazing, yet humble atmosphere. The guests, by my estimate are mostly local who visit on a daily basis. Regular folk that don't mind outsiders and as far as my experience goes, don't judge new people, like some local bars I've visited across Croatia. The music is what you would expect in a pub, it goes with the interior and has an excellent vibe. The staff are knowledgeable about what people want to hear and adapt quickly to almost any demographic. The prices are also acceptable for a city such as Rijeka, with a decent selection of beers, be it draft or bottled, mostly their own beers but you have the option to drink classic, European brands which are imported, always lovely to see! Nice selection of whiskeys, burbons and all that jazz, with basically everything you need if you're not a beer person, or you had a couple and it's time for what the Croatians like to say "presjeć". Honestly, I haven't tried the coffee or other non alcoholic beverages, but from what I was able to scout out, people do drink coffee here and there are the usual sodas, juices etc. To anyone visiting Rijeka, no matter where you hail from, if you want an honest, classic and welcoming pub experience, be sure to visit THIS King's Pub in Rijeka, as the other's are quite large and more what I like to call "family pubs". To end it here, I'd personally recommend their signature, home brewed IPA, just say to the waiter you want a Session Indian Pale Ale or "SIPA" for short, it's a good start and represents what thislittle yet humble pub is all about!

We stepped in for a cup of coffee and it turned out to be very good. Unfortunately the smoking inside is allowed which makes someone who doesn't smoke a little bit uncomfortable. The drinks were great though!

Rude and condescending staff, unhygienic glasses and surfaces, serving inadequate - misty plastic "glasses" and paper in drink, FLIES (plural) in a single glass of wine. Genuinely spare yourself the trouble, they make it worse when you point out the hygiene violations (the literal, clearly visible insects) to them. Girl serving straight up said "I don't know" when asked for WiFi pass... Literally unreal experience in such a terrible way.

Yesterday I visited this bar with my family. We wanted to grab some cocktails so we ordered ones. Unfortunately the waiter/barkepper didn’t know how to make them so he called someone, who gave him directions to make them. Followed by this, our drinks took long and the taste was semi-good….

Great cafe/bar! Its also quite affordable. They have a nice interior with AC and comfortable seating. The terrace is also very nice and always shaded.

Terrible bar. Before that, I was in many places, in different countries. I asked for tequila. They brought it without salt and lemon. Say, no lemon, no lime, nothing, drink like that. He became indignant, they said that they would kick him out. Even in Ukraine, during the war, I even found a lemon

service is disgusting. lazy waiters who do not want to work, not cold alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, dirty dishes, when asked to replace, they bring the same glass without even wiping it. Terrible place do not recommend!

Great place both for morning coffee or some beers in afternoon. Friendly staff and great location in city center. Every Tuesday they magically connect with 3 more nearby bars so it's best option of going out during week days. Highly recommend.

Located in the center of the town of Rijeka, this small buffet is a good choice for a lunch break. Or a brunch. The portions are large enough and the brunch can replace one daily meal. It is an inexpensive buffet with good daily food offer. The service is fast. There are two eating rooms inside with two small tables outdoors. Worth trying.

In the very heart of Rijeka’s old town, Filodrammatica is a little haven for the senses. We sat outside in their garden on the šetalište, the car-free promenade, with the old clock tower to our left and charming historic buildings all around. On that hot summer day, chilled English classic hits drifted through the air, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. I enjoyed a creamy seafood (frutti di mare) risotto, while my husband had a warm, aromatic chicken curry – both perfectly prepared. Our friendly waitress even solved our wobbly table problem with a few pieces of paper under the legs, a small gesture that made us feel cared for. Filodrammatica is the kind of place where time slows down, and the only thing you rush for is the chance to return.

I had an excellent dinner, having chosen the restaurant based on the pleasant patio atmosphere. The food was very high quality and the service was even better. The meal was a good value that exceeded our expectations.

If you want to waste the time of your vacation - definitely visit. First we have to 15 minutes to just ask for the menus. Then if you need a check, or to pack the food - every time you need to go by yourself and ask. The waiter is never there. Then you wait 15 minutes to collect the takeaway - same time you waited for this food to be cooked. And again - you go and ask “where is my food”. No one is going to bring it to you.

We entered to this place thanks to its exclusive look. The waiter was polite, but we were 3 sitting at the table, getting 2 menu cards only - that’s not professional. We had 3 pinses, it was very delicious and big. The pistacchio is really excellent. We sat inside, the airco was not working unfortunately.

Ok so Google maps directions are totally messed up. The restaurant is literally a few steps from the drive-in entrance on the ground floor at the ass-end of this ugly concrete tower. The people are beautiful though and the food generous. 'atmosphere' is kinda carnival/games room/pool hall +beer garden.

I've took my family for lunch. i heard great reviews about the restaurant. We wanted to order two grill plates for two, but waiter offered us to make one plate for four. At the end we got on the table portion for for that was smaller then one portion for two. We waited for 45 minutes. And that was not the worst thing, in the end they billed us for each part separatelly. I do not reccomend this restaurant to anyone!!!!

If you want retro style interior with plenty of space, books, music, and tasty croissant, then this is the place for you. Order croissant or pancakes, together with your espresso, orange juice or anything else you want. Enjoy.
