The service/ waiter was great. However the Food wasnt that amazing. Meat was supposed to be medium rare unfortunately it was more welldone than anything else. The veggies were cremated from the outside and raw from the inside. Dessert was delicious.

The food was simply excellent, especially the meats! It's definitely worth paying the price for this quality. Very nice attention to the customers, too (except when we came in, as it was empty and the restaurant just opened).

Music was mostly Finnish rap. Maybe they do not want any international customers... So we left with our 15 persons' group. We would have loved to hear 80's (like Abba, Billy Idol, etc.) and modern dance music like Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa, Sophie, Swedish House Mafia...

This hotel is actually lovely. The smaller rooms are a little too snug for 3 adults but the family rooms spread over 2 levels are brilliant! The hotel is really warm, the decorations are fitting for a winter Santa break. Location is ideal for a short walk to a quaint little town. I love Levi.

Very nice hotel. Reception pleasant and efficient. Breakfast and dinner is excellent with good choices and delicious. Room is less brilliant by comparison but still quiet, comfortable and warm. Tea and coffee facilities but not refreshed when used. When requested at reception they merely handed over some sachets to me.

The place is nice, you can dance.. the dj is really good, but the bartenders.. are horrible.. they treat you in a horrible way and the girl pick up my drink, that I was still drinking (but I leave it in the table WITH FRIENDS SITTING THERE! And she took it, mocked at me and with the other bartender like laughing and saying to me that they are not going to do nothing, that I should buy another drink.. like .. if you are tired of working in a place like this, QUIT !! Learn to treat well the customers cause they are who pay to you !

We have visited this place three times during autumn, autum 2022 two days in a row because other places didn’t have people. To be fully honest, the neighbour bar had much better dj, better drink selection and the karaoke was better as firstly the ordering was online and secondly you were able to see how long it will take before it is your turn. Karaoke host was wonderful in Ihku but as usual, the songs in Finnish karaoke were melancholic and sad. Maybe karaoke is better during the season when there’s more tourists. The songs played by the dj were exactly the same and even in same order both nights? Many of them dated back at least 10 years but maybe it served the age in the bar that was 55+

Watched a tiktoker get aggressively grabbed and thrown out by the bouncer. He did nothing wrong it was absolutely vile to watch Do not recommend!

Three important things to know - 1. The parties are downstairs, upstairs it's just a regular bar. 2. The parties start very late - around midnight. 3. They charge €3 to hang your coat. Other than that, prices are reasonable and the place looks great. Also, the guards are nice, they will tell you if the place is empty to save you the trouble of going downstairs just to check.

We went for the final night of a holiday with Ingham's - great food (buffet) and a good atmosphere. We did leave just after the entertainment started as it was very child orientated.

Nice place with artists performing almost every night in the winter high season. Place needs a *lot* of people for the best atmosphere and that's sometimes a problem. Also too bad is that a substantial part of the crowd leaves immediately after the live performance ends. I do really like the karaoke place upstairs!

This place is creepy, dirty and totally overpriced. Paid 18€ "entrance fees" without the intention to see the concert (that lasted for 15 minutes before the entrance was free). Weird and underage people (I entered without any ID). The sound is not so well balanced and the staff is not kind except the people that worked with the band. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone except sweaty and pierced blue haired teenagers.

The place to be if you want to party hard after skiing. During the winter season a lot of high profile Finnish artists and band's. The music is a bit cheesy but hey, it's a ski resort disco

As a seafood lover, I couldn’t resist trying the highly rated King Crab House during our second day in Levi—and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The seafood was fresh and flavorful, and the portion sizes were very generous. We each ordered the seafood platter, which is listed as a starter, along with a main course. The platters were packed with a variety of seafood, including King Crab legs. By the time our mains arrived (more King Crab!), we were already quite full. I definitely overdid it on the King Crab, but no regrets—it was a delicious holiday indulgence. My children loved the blue mussels. Highly recommend if you’re a seafood fan.

A very good restaurant! We have been coming to Levi for five years, and the first thing we do is visit this restaurant. Today was no exception. Everything was delicious, and we really enjoyed the live music.

We were very lucky to get a table on New Year Eve as we make last minute plans to visit Levi. We had their NYE menu which was 95 euro but had a good portion of seafood and we left stuffed. The Alaskan crab was delicious and so were the mussels, I would highly recommend those two dishes. The staff were very warm and answered all our questions. If we had to nitpick, most of the food was on the salty side but we were worse by the range of dishes they served. We were seated in the basement portion of the restaurant which did not have the same vibe as the main section above.

We pop in here without a reservation as had cravings for seafood and chance upon this artic seafood house. It was around 3.30pm hence we were able to get a table. Food was really good especially the king crab. The pike trout was not too shabby either. The service folks were friendly and attentive too. Reccomended to come try at least once although it can be a tad pricey.

Best crab I’ve ever tasted! it’s a little bit pricey, but I think it’s worth it for the king crab. They have 3 sauces; my favorite are coconut and original with white wine. The bread is so good, usually I don’t eat bread for appetizer, but this one is exceptional, and it’s served warm. Mussel is good, I like the creamy sauce. They also have traditional reindeer stew, so good. All the ingredients are fresh!

So good. That we dined twice ! Two days in a row for lunch. Matias our waiter was superb. Very knowledgeable of the menu and is also a Som ! He recommended two great wines. A Chablis and a Riesling. The Reindeer two ways is the go to dish along with the seafood platter. The children’s options are also very good. Our son ordered the grilled fish, mash and beans each time. Thank you for looking after us.

We were two people, and we went for the King Grab House Seafood Platter for two, a bottle of Prosecco and tried both their desserts. Restaurant is on another level. Can recommend, great food, excellent service, visit soon as it is closing! The accommodation is great for couples, but sadly this place is closing its doors on 21st of April 2025, so be quick. Dip in the icy lake, relax in the jacuzzi, take a sauna in a separate rustic sauna. Services are very close, a supermarket, skidoo/e-bike-rental, cross-country tracks a short walk away. The personnel are really friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely amazing. We stay in the glass igloo. There is only one. Total privacy. View open on the lake. It’s incredible. You also have access to the outside jacuzzi and the spa for free. At last there is a little ice hole in the lake if you dare :) Restaurant is not worth it. Food is average and way too pricy!

We ate dinner at Aurora Estate restaurant with the tasting menu of 4 main courses: Lohikeittio, Kuningasrapu risotto, Tomato pasta, Poroa. This menu helps us to try all main courses at the small sizes. The food is delicious and presented beautiful on the dishes. The restaurant has beautiful decoration, romantic atmosphere and nice lake view. The food is made by the Master Chef Finland 2011 Sirly Ylläsjärvi with great taste and ingredients

We treated ourselves to a dinner at Aurora Estate while staying in Ylläsjärvi and we're so happy we did! The staff was super friendly and checked for any dietary restrictions in advance so I was able to get a fully vegetarian menu. My personal highlight was the beetroot soup with pine nuts and parmesan cookies. I especially enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, which was casual and cozy while still being sophisticated.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in so far. Our hostess Kierto along with the rest of the staff were amazing. At every point she ensured our stay to remain flawless. Breakfast at the restaurant here was perfect, the presentation, the variety, the taste, care and attention by the staff made everything flawless. For anyone staying here, don't miss the breakfast for anything. The rooms were clean, comfortable and cosy. I can recommend this to anyone visiting this area without any doubt.

We were a group of six people. Half of us had the long menu, but no one had to wait too long for their courses. Well synchronised. The grouse was superior, the fennel made me think about being a vegetarian. The service was friendly and warm.

Have been here every time I visit Lapland. The menu have always been good and interesting. Very cozy place and nicely decorated. During this visit the menu had changed a few days prior our visit so the menu online was different. However, this did not cause any issues. The 5 course menu was well balanced. Lobster risotto was exquisite. And what about the bread with the browned butter? Unfortunately did not take pictures but highly recommend if you like more sophisticated flavours.

We went to Cafe & Bar Kota for drinks in the evening. The friendly bartender made us a good gin and tonic. The bar was half full when we visited, so we got good seats by the window. The music level is pleasantly low, so you can chat without shouting. You can also eat here, but we have mainly been for drinks. The bar is centrally located in the heart of Levi and is a popular place in the evenings.

Great bar with some good burgers. A bit messy but try the blue cheese one. The artist playing there was great and created a good vibe.

Amazing atmosphere, perfect acoustics in the building so sound doesn't echo or penetrate too much, which is fantastic as I'm a bit sound sensitive. The soup was absolutely fantastic, we actually visited for 3 days because of the quality, quantity and value of the food. €11 for soup, bread, salad, tea, coffee and water, but was all serve your own so multiple bowls of soup and as much as you wanted. They also did absolutely amazing sweet potato fries, not like we needed them with the filling soup meals though. Every day there was a meat, veggie/vegan and gluten free option to eat, so really did cater for every need. Even serve cocktails, which I will try next year! All in all, the best place I've been for food!

Popped in to have the famous mint chocolate hot drink after ski (in -24) they had ran out. Asked for a mulled wine, was given a sweet hot juice with a couple of almonds for 12 euros, nothing like the real thing that I can even get at home in Australia. A bit strange during the peak holiday season. The atmosphere was ok, very quiet at 3:30 pm.

I haven't eaten there, I just went to take some beers with friends, and it was a very good place to speak and have a good time. The girls are really nice, and they have a lot of variety of beers.

Worst customer service. Went there for a karaoke night. We were literally the only customers, however the bartenders and karaoke operators seemed to not give a damn about us. If you're over 22 years old, go to the other karaoke bar in front.

Delicacies in many forms! I am a frequently visiting customer and have never experienced bad dining in this place. Customer service is always friendly and professional for every dish they tell you origin of food, what it is. They really know their servings like Michelin star restaurants. The enjoyment of food starts with its arrangement on a plate and the portions always look like works of art. The selection of drinks is comprehensive and good!

Amazing flavors. We tried the five course menu for dinner and it was delicious. The best was the porcini soup with apples but all of them were really good.

Had lunch with my friend. Place is cosy, I loved the chairs. Atmosphere during lunchtime ( christmas season -19 ) was nice, not too crowdy. Salad from the buffettable, lunch is served on plates to your table. Really good food and friendly service. I highly recommend to visit here. I sure will visit this place again, next time for dinner.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. The starters were great but it was the main courses that were superb - we’ve had elk and arctic char and would definitely recommend. The service is very lovely and friendly. We would love to come back to try other dishes!

Nice restaurant overlooking the slopes - go whilst the slopes are still running (lights are on) for the best view. We had meatballs and elk stew and both were delicious and well presented. Service was fine although we had to chase for the bill at the end.

Classic-style British pub, near Levi's slopes. Perfect pub atmosphere, service is friendly and quick and the food is great, with a Nordic twist. I had the reindeer pie and it was great (a shepherd's pie from Lapland!), I recommend it! Also the fried fish looked very nice and crispy. Good selection of beers.

Vegan, vegetarian and shrimp tacos were all very tasty. And the interior design there was very nice. One star missed for these reasons: - after the suggested minimum amount of 3 tacos, I still felt quite hungry. - the price I paid just for the three tacos was 19,80 EUR, so it felt expensive way of leaving hungry. - the service was friendly enough, but since I had lunch alone and didn’t order drinks, I could clearly read between the lines that they wanted to rush me out as soon as I had cleared my plate. I would understand such behaviour if there were queues, but at that time the place was at 3/4 capacity. Had high expectations due to the good ratings here on Google maps, but unfortunately my experience didn’t quite match the high hopes. Wouldn’t recommend for budget conscious solo travellers. On the other hand, if you’re in the mood of tasty little bites and not worried about spending your euros, then go for it!

Fantastic Mexican food. We had the nacho plate, 3 tacos each and churros. Very delicious! Fresh, flavourful and good portion sizes. They recommended 3 tacos each and it was great. Very filling. Best nachos I've ever had. I had the shrimp, muikku and chicken tacos. The shrimp was the best! Muikku had a lot of garnishes that I couldn't really taste the fish but it was still good. Chicken was a little dry but the juice and sweetness of the fresh pineapple slice compensated and complemented. Veggie one was the least favorite. Everything had coriander in them though, and if you have that gene that makes coriander taste like soap you'd best order them without. My friends discovered that they had that gene today. Churros were alright, possibly overpriced. Service was very chill and I enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe.

We found this place accidentally whilst visiting the supermarket, and fortunately, we decided to visit. After being in Finland for two weeks (Levi, Rovaniemi, Helsinki), this surprising hole-in-the-wall spot is not only one of the best restaurants in Levi, but one of the best in the country. Obviously there are fine-dining options… but if you want an affordable dinner with a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place to go to in Levi. We were fortunate to meet one of the owners, Jonas. Through our conversation, he mentioned travelling to Mexico to perfect their craft, and it translates into the food. This is authentic Mexican Food north of the Arctic Circle. After eating Mexican Food in numerous countries, this is on par with the food served in Mexico. Really fantastic quality! We can’t wait to return hungry!

Tacos in Finland??? What? Visiting here from Texas, we never expected to see tacos in Finland. Street tacos are a way of life in Texas. In Texas the chips and salsa determine whether your meal will be good or not. The chips, guacamole, and salsa were fresher than I expected. All the ingredients here are so fresh (the cilantro tasted like it was just picked). The habanero was perfect. As an added bonus they have their own beer "Lost Lager" which was a great addition to wash it all down. Oh and the music was awesome.

They say a Taco can't go wrong. Unfortunately, there have been several disappointments in Helsinki. This place went into the category - excellent 👌The tacos really have complementary flavors and freshness. The service was nice and relaxed. 5 tacos filled the big man's appetite. On a recent trip, we stopped at this bar while waiting for dinner reservations. The bartender was great and answered questions we had about local drinks and made something special up for me. Amazingly friendly and welcoming service and the cheapest beer in Levi! Interesting mix of local beers and ciders. I tasted few different beers and ciders from the tap and they all were super delicious. I'm going back today to have a black IPA since that was better than any normal IPA tasted before. Highly recommended bar!
