North Beach Bar and Grill is a vibrant beachside eatery located on Tybee's North Beach, offering a diverse menu with Caribbean-inspired seafood dishes and traditional favorites like hot dogs and burgers. The restaurant features a palm-shaded deck with stunning views of the ocean and the Tybee Lighthouse, making it an ideal spot for island visitors to enjoy lunch, dinner, or late-night drinks. Live music performances on weekends and tropical beverages add to the lively atmosphere.
First off, a huge shoutout to our waiter, Jayden, for taking such amazing care of us on a night when they were incredibly busy and short-staffed. He ensured we had everything we needed, offered fantastic food recommendations, and kept a friendly, welcoming vibe the entire time. We tried the BBQ sandwich, mahi fish sandwich, cheeseburger, and shrimp basket, and each of us was blown away by how fresh and delicious everything was—clearly made to order. My wife also loved her margarita, which came right away (a rarity in some places we've been!). The French fries were top-notch, and my daughter couldn’t get enough of the sautéed vegetables. Not only was the food exceptional, but the speed of service was lightning-fast. You can tell this kitchen runs like a well-oiled machine, even during a busy rush. The mahi sandwich was surprisingly large, packed with flavor, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The shrimp were generously sized, and the portion was just right. The BBQ was sweet, lean, and featured high-quality pork. The cheeseburger was cooked just how we like it, and my son devoured it along with the fries. I’d give this place a 10/10 for both the food and the atmosphere alone. But when it comes to Tybee Island, this is the place to go. It's conveniently located right next to beach access, public bathrooms, showers, and essentially in the shadow of the lighthouse. Honestly, we’ll be back to this exact spot next time we visit Tybee.

Absolutely amazing!!!! We go to Tybee Pier for fishing and decided to bring up Google maps and pick a location. It brought us here. I got the soft smell crab sandwich. I've never had soft shell crab and have been wanting to try. It was mouth watering. The seasonings were great and the crab meat was so juicy. And let's not forget those sweet potato fries I got with it. My husband got the chicken tortilla salad and that was delicious as well. Our waiter was George and he is one of kind!!!! Great service, great personality, great food. We will definitely be back!
C L — Google review
I only ordered the nachos and salsa (which is more like a Pico and the salsa is not.. a sauce consistency) but it was still super fresh and delicious. Others that ordered burgers, enjoyed their food. Skinny margarita was good - you can taste the tequila for sure. The vibes were awesome and a nice place to sit down post-beach in the evening!
Vanessa S — Google review
The food was delicious. Forgot to take pictures! The place looks like a bar right off the beach, which it is, but the food is far better than it has a right to be! Drinks were good, but not quite as strong as I would like. Overall highly recommend.
Tired S — Google review
So we had to park a ways away but it was def worth the walk up! We sat at the Tiki bar and our server was awesome! Comfortable cool indoor outdoor setting. Asparagus and crab salad for appetizer is delish! I ordered one of the daily specials which was fried soft shell crab sandwich. It was YUMMOLA paired with waffle sweet potato fries. I'd never had soft shell crab but I would highly recommend giving it a try if it is a special to choose from. My friend had the fish tacos with brussel sprouts for side. He was equally impressed with his choice. Not overly priced and big portions AND friendly staff are all big pluses! I will def recommend this place and would love to go again.

Very "beachy" fun. Small. Two o'clock on Sunday and seated within about 10 minutes. Good service. Have to pay for parking, though. Good food. A rare restaurant without chicken fingers... that eliminates my granddaughter!
Cyn G — Google review
Awesome!! This is the exact kind of place you want to go on a beach vacation. This spot is a bit farther down the beach than the main drag so it felt like a little tiki hideaway. I was surprised that it was so quiet for a Friday night. I was also a little dubious of the food options as they sounded a bit there but I was blown away. I would definitely eat here again
Graceanne S — Google review
Overall great experience! The service was friendly and fast, and the prices were very reasonable. The food was tasty — especially the fries, which were fantastic! The appetizer selection was a bit limited, but everything we ordered was fresh and well-cooked. Can’t beat the great views and laid-back beach vibe. Definitely worth a stop when you’re on Tybee!

The Crab Shack is a popular seafood restaurant located in Tybee, offering a casual and lively atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. With over 20 years of experience, it has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The restaurant prides itself on serving some of the freshest seafood in the area, including their renowned low country boil featuring shrimp, corn, sausage, and potatoes.
Great experience with gator feeding and bird shack, dining outside by the water was amazing! The seafood was pricey but huge portions, very quick service. BBQ platter was massive, nice touch with trash cans in center of table.
Nick W — Google review
The Crab Shack has always been a must-visit spot for me whenever I'm in Savannah, my first visit was about 15 years ago, and every experience since then had been consistently amazing. The food was always flavorful, the atmosphere uniquely charming, and the staff friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, this recent visit might be my last. While the service was still friendly and the atmosphere well maintained, the food was a major letdown. Everything we ordered was overwhelmingly salt, so much so that my family couldn’t even finish the meal. It was a very disappointing experience, especially from a place I’ve loved for so long. It's sad to see the food quality decline after so many great years.
Jeff H — Google review
Fun, lively venue with great open air patio and huge portions. Cool setting with huge live oak trees and dock-like setting. Some aspects feel a bit tacky or touristy, but unpretentious vibes with a friendly, helpful staff. Paper towels rolls, trash bins under the tables, and lots of tasty food served on plastic trays. The boiled shrimp wasn’t very spicy or flavorful, but plentiful. There are lots of sauces on the table. The hot sauce, my favorite, tasted like a mix of Frank’s and Tabasco. Lots of potato wedges and sausage pieces and a small ear of corn with the shrimp, which seemed like 1.5 pounds. Good value at $25. There’s lots of fans to keep things cool on the patio, which gives a fun view of the wetlands. Non-gendered bathrooms were available. The alligator pits are unique and fun to check out. $5 to feed the gators. There’s even a rescue bird aviary. The gift shop is there for souvenirs, but seems a bit much.

We had the best time and the best meal we’ve had in a very longtime. The food was so fresh and delicious. We tried the sampler platter as an appetizer to determine what we wanted to order as a meal and it was amazing. The shrimp to the crab to the oysters. And our waitress Madison was awesome. I will definitely be back and recommend to anyone traveling g to the area.
Cheryl D — Google review
I love this place!!! I was just there this past week. I was there 3 out of the 5 days while on vacation. Such good food! And...so worth your $. This was my Dungeons Crab dinner and a regular low country boil! I had their crab dip...awesome! So much!! And of course ..my favorite...key lime pie! The best I have ever had! I was so happy it has remained the same after all these years. The atmosphere and the people are fantastic!! They had just had a litter of kittens and they were in the gift shop and I fed the alligators in their pond. Such a great place!!!
Carolyn H — Google review
Funky seafood "shack" in a kid friendly environment. Food is ok, the frozen drinks were excellent, service was lighting fast. Ordered the mussels, and in less than 2 minutes they were served. The shrimp salad was good, could have used a small piece of bread, the deviled crab was ok, but a bit on the dry side, not sure if they were really made on the premises.
Theo H — Google review
Good atmosphere, but that’s it. The $24 brisket plate was the worst I’ve ever had. it tasted like something pre-cooked and reheated from a bag (see photo). Thin, dry, and completely flavorless. We only ate it because we were starving. The $18 crab dip tasted like a cheap cheese sauce with just a few bits of shrimp and crabmeat. We also tried the clam chowder and crab stew, and both were as ok as canned soup. Food came in plastic plates. Our friends ordered the Captain’s Platters, which were fine. They also automatically add a 20% gratuity for parties of six or more. Overall, very disappointing food despite the nice atmosphere. We paid a total of $90 for two beers, two cups of soup, and absolutely shitty brisket and crab dip.
Anna K — Google review
Had the snow country boil. It was good, nothing crazy. For the price, I was honestly expecting it to be better— more flavor.. maybe 2 crab clusters instead of one.. Margarita was good. The crab bisque, though, was very very good. We came in as a big party.. about 14 of us. Celebrating two birthdays. Alyssa took very good care of us. The key lime pie is perfecto 👌🏼 the atmosphere is really cool it was a bummer it was raining though so a lot of tables were closed. They also have live alligators which is fun for adults and kids

Seafood restaurant
Sting Ray's Seafood is a popular Southern seafood restaurant located on Tybee Island. It offers a laid-back atmosphere with outdoor dining under beach umbrellas and live music performances on weekends. The restaurant, opened by local crabber Ray Rogers, Sr., in 2000, has been voted the best seafood spot on the island.
I love coming here. It's my favorite "self care day" place to eat. Kate and Meg are always so welcoming every time I come it. The food comes out quickly and is always good. Definitely helps me be able to take a breath from the stressors of life!
Megan H — Google review
We loved our meal. The atmosphere, the vibe, our server Jessie was attentive and friendly and helpful. Your crab legs were the best of our trip. I’d go back in a heartbeat! Plus we had an inside table to beat the heat of last week. We were stoked for all the right reasons!!
Christine S — Google review
I won’t be returning here: 1) There was NO SEASONING on our gator “strips”. 2) The gator strips were BITES and NOT STRIPS. 3) The service made me uncomfortable. The host was really nice; however the servers made us feel like we were going to dine and dash, inconveniencing them. She also rushed plus out after saying “no rush” and got loud with me while I was in mid conversation to get the money for the tab that was sitting on the table. 4) Someone was knocking on the outside window where we were sitting and NO ONE seemed to know who, what, or why. 5) The crab stew was thick and chunky, unseasoned, and tasted off. Out of all the places in Tybee, this has been the worst place.
Quyn W — Google review
Food is good. Fresh fish today is grouper and was fried well. Service good. Wish they had a smaller size gumbo/bisque rather than the full bowl. Located right by the road, easy walk from where we were staying. Otherwise 5 stars.
Leana M — Google review
The food at Stingrays was amazing! We were greeted as soon as we walked in, which set a great tone for the visit. We chose to sit indoors, but they also have a beautiful outdoor dining area worth checking out. We ordered the country boil for two to which everything was delicious! My only small suggestion would be to offer a side of steamed rice to go with it. The prices were surprisingly affordable, too. I kind of wish it was right on the beach, but it’s still very close to the boardwalk, so the location is definitely a plus. Overall, a great experience! (You can also bring your own catch to have it cooked but you do have to clean it yourself)
Skarly S — Google review
We did a brunch of calamari, hush puppies, & fish bites. With a bowl crab lobster soup. The fish bites could have cooked a bit longer. That was our only ugggg! Will we be back, heck yeah!!!!
Rebecca S — Google review
Great food, service and atmosphere! I loved the hush puppies and that they served them with honey butter! The alligator bites were also very good! I ordered a house salad with shrimp and it was very good. I tried a few bites of the fries, crawfish and soft shell crab sandwich and all were good. They also made me a virgin pina colada which was great, very smooth and delicious!
Cammy H — Google review
We really enjoyed our dinner! We got the fried platter for two and it was enough to feed myself another adult and two children. Our server was amazing and the dill sauce is so darn delicious! The only downfall is that we would have preferred to get a grilled platter and they didn't have that available on their menu.

Fannie’s On the Beach is a vibrant beachfront spot located on Tybee's South Beach, offering a diverse menu and lively atmosphere. With outdoor seating, weekend live music, and Sunday brunch featuring their famous Bloody Mary, it's a popular choice for locals and visitors alike. The restaurant is praised for its convenient beach access and friendly staff.
We walked passed Fannies on the beach several times and decided to give it a try. They offer three levels of indoor and outdoor dining choices. They have bar seating, tables and booths. Highly recommend the Bangin Beach Shrimp and fried okra bites for appetizers. The onion rings are a huge portion and we’re good too. The Hawaiian Pizza was better than the pepperoni pizza was. The Raspberry frozen margarita was delicious. They also have shirts for sale that are pretty cool.
Lisa B — Google review
Our tour guide from a walking food tour in Savannah recommended Fannie’s, as did two ladies from Common in downtown Savannah. We’re so glad they did. We have visited Savannah multiple times over the years but we’ve never made it out to Tybee. Fannie’s is right across from the beach. We got there a little after 12pm. We were seated right away. We both ordered the chicken avocado sandwich with fries. Listen, come hungry because they’re not playing around. I expected a thin grilled chicken patty. That is not what I got. It’s a grilled chicken breast that’s piled high with bacon, spring lettuce mix, avocado, red onions and sauce and it was DELICIOUS! The atmosphere, the food, the staff and the price is on point! I didn’t catch our waitress name but she was a sweetheart. Go check them out!
Alanna T — Google review
Great customer service and atmosphere. We visited on May 23rd to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. We sat on the top deck and had a beautiful oceanfront view. The waitress was extremely nice and courteous. The noise level was minimal and the atmosphere was relaxed. The food was extremely delicious and will be back very soon.
Myra C — Google review
If you are expecting a speedy in and out service, don't bother even visiting Tybee Island. The flow and the rhythm of things are just, relaxed. Slow down. Enjoy the scenery, enjoy the people, enjoy the atmosphere, enjoy the freaking food. Strike conversation with your server because in reality everyone is there to just have a good time. If you want something fast, go to McDonald's. I had the ahi tuna appetizer and a couple of frozen drinks overlooking a beautiful beach, boardwalk and pier.
Yvette W — Google review
Came here for my sisters 21st! We got the Nachos (10/10) , Bacon cheeseburger (7.5/10) , and Bangin shrimp tacos (9/10). Overall food was great, no complaints! And had an awesome server Nikki, loved her energy. Only complaint is one of the older workers on the floor just had bad vibes , spoke rudely to her team & didn’t seem excited when more guests came in. Besides that, we had a lovely time :)
Kaylee L — Google review
The best thing about this place is that it’s a short walk from where we stay. And the service was great both times, but keep in mind we went last week which is fortunately never as busy as peak summer weeks, and for lunch. We got kids burger, kids shrimp, mushroom tacos, buffalo chicken, mozz sticks, chili cheese fries, and I know I’m forgetting other things. The kids enjoyed their kids meals. It comes with a pack of gummies as the treat. We got them one day, and the next they were left off of our order but we didn’t notice until later that evening when one of the kids asked for theirs. Whoops. The buffalo chicken was…chicken. We wanted buffalo shrimp but were informed they don’t do that, but could bring fried shrimp and a side of buffalo sauce, but they wouldn’t toss it together in the back. I don’t get it. The mozzarella sticks were crunchy, freshly fried. One day they were triangles and the next the regular frozen tubular ones. The chili cheese fries were BANGIN’. Tad heavy on the beans, but flavor was so good. The mushroom taco plate was sad. I was craving something that would excited my taste buds, and this looked promising. Marinated shrooms, wasabi crema, pickled onions, then the pineapple salsa for the beans and rice… oh how I wished I had skipped over it entirely. Flavor was a total mute. The small serving of mushrooms were lost, I honestly think the wasabi crema was missing bc the flavor never popped up…nothing exciting. The red rice tasted like plain unseasoned white rice, which was sad bc I had almost ordered an entire side of that alone expecting it to be super flavorful. The beans that were barely on my plate shared same story. It’s basic beach food. Or maybe these just weren’t two great days. I will say however that the wait staff we met were very friendly, helpful, and efficient. 10/10 on service.
M C — Google review
From the moment we walked up, every single person was friendly and helpful. We sat at the bar, Shay was our server. Shay is absolutely wonderful! Smile on her face and great service!! We had drinks and shrimp. Both were great!
Kristina R — Google review
The food here was pretty bad. I had the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos, and they were just okay, mainly because the sauce helped. The rice was gross, super salty and mushy. The beans looked old and tasted like they were barely cooked or seasoned. And the pico de gallo? No flavor at all. Like, how do you even mess up pico de gallo? On top of that, the service was really slow. Honestly, it’s just not worth spending your money here.

The menu is a delightful fusion of worldly street foods inspired by coastal regions like Australia, Mexico, and Hawaii.
This place is amazing. Great views, vibes and friendly staff. Our sever Jackie was the best! Super polite and gave great places for us to check out in the surrounding area. The Bloody Mary was delicious and the mussels were so yummy. We are already planning on when we can come back before we go home. Make sure to ask for Jackie !!

You have to park/walk through the condo area to get here. Great place to grab a bite on the beach. Our server, Prince Eli was super friendly. The food was really good. The peach cobbler had a spice kick to it, which was different. I was a bit disappointed in the burger. Wish it had some spices cooked into it like black pepper or a little bit of seasoning. The bacon on the burger was the best I’ve ever had though! I also ordered a single when the menu called for a double but was charged the menu price. I was expecting not to pay full price for a single patty instead of a double patty. I did not address the issue at the time because storms were rolling in and we had had a long day on the beach. Frozen margaritas were fabulous! Great atmosphere! Would definitely return.

Top Deck was amazing! Our server, Prince Eli, gave such a great overview of the menu and made the experience even better. The peach sangria was so good, and the burger was absolutely delicious. Prices were fair for the quality and service. Definitely coming back!

WOW!!!! This place was out of this world. Absolute Fire!! We had a group of 14 that hung out in Savannah. Our 2nd night we decided we were going to The Deck the next morning for brunch. Man oh man, that was the best decision of our trip. We told them that we had 14 people and they said, give us a second. Every worker you could see on the floor went to get our seating ready. The sat us before they went to the next guest. It felt good. The food we ordered was amazingly good. We had 14 people all agreeing that we had had one of our best meals in a long time. I got blueberry mascarpone French toast. I don’t like blueberries that much, but it was described to me in a way that made me order it. It was absolutely stupendous!! The way it was put together made for a very good dish. I got the peach cobbler for desert. Just like everything else, it was fantastic. Now, as good as all that sounds, the best thing I saved for last Prince Eli Our server was the most knowledgeable and personable server I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. His passion for what he as doing, the very complete and vision inducing descriptions were fabulous!! Prince Eli was all over it. He handled 14 people without so much as a hiccup. Great person. Well, we enjoyed the hell out of our visit. If I ever get within 100 miles of The Deck, I will definitely take a detour to visit. To The Deck, there is only one word that suffices. BRAVO!!
Jay W — Google review
Stop overthinking where to eat on vacation and just go here! We had great service from start to finish. The drinks were excellent—especially the Key Lime Martini, which is a must-try if you enjoy sweeter cocktails. The Fried Cobia Sandwich was amazing, and the coconut shrimp were decent, though they reminded me of the frozen kind you can find at most grocery stores. Overall, we had a great lunch and hope to come back to try more of the menu!

I had an incredible time! Prince Eli provided us with an outstanding experience. We had a large group, and he managed everything efficiently, coordinating all the meals. Prince Eli began with an exceptional presentation that I had never encountered before. He explained each point very well. The food was simply amazing. The shrimp and grits was simply delicious.

A-J's Dockside Restaurant is a popular spot on Tybee Island, offering top-notch seafood dishes in a charming setting overlooking the Back River. Established in 2003, this casual eatery was once the headquarters for Tybee Island's Bomb Squad and now provides indoor and outdoor seating options, including boat-in dining along the shores. With a picturesque backdrop for enjoying lunch or dinner, A-J's also boasts an array of bottled beers to complement their delectable seafood offerings.
Definitely one of the best seafood places on Tybee Island. Food was amazing, drinks were even better and the service was awesome. Our waitress was out of this world helpful and friendly and the food came out surprisingly quick. The only downside we ran into was, that while nothing was posted about clothing restrictions or dress code, we were almost turned away at the door by the hostess because my companion was wearing a swimsuit top and shorts. We were informed that a t-shirt was required, so we opted to buy a shirt from the selection of souvenirs by the front door. This was a little disappointing, as I did notice other patrons with similar attire once we were seated, and the lack of posted notice of dress code or anything listed online in that regard. Overall an awesome experience, just be prepared to change clothes if you're coming fresh off the beach.

We made reservations but went early and they were able to seat us. It was a stormy day so the outside patio wasn’t set up for eating but you could still go out and enjoy the scenery. It’s a fun beach vibe with dive flags hung up! We got the calamari and Buffalo shrimp for appetizers. The shrimp was amazing! The right amount of heat and not super breaded. It was the best we had on Tybee. Calamari was good but with a different dipping sauce would be better. The gumbo didn’t have enough flavor but wasn’t terrible. We took desserts to go and the strawberry shortcake and carrot cake were both good! The parking area is small but they do have additional parking a short walk away! Just read the signs to find it.

Made reservations and was able to enjoy the sunset with amazing food. I had the blackened Mahi with crab Cajun sauce very delicious. My fiance had steak with bleu cheese crumbles.
Julie S — Google review
Great food, friendly staff, especially the bartender (shout out to D!). Wonderful views, the sunsets are superb. There are two (free) parking lots to accompany guests. I had the local catch (snapper w/buerre blanc, topped with crab). The crab stew was thick and delicious!! The inside seating is small but the deck accommodates large groups. If you want sunset seating at the outside tables, you really should make a reservation. I sat inside at the bar with some locals and some tourists and just had a wonderful night. Go!!

Just what we were looking for an authentic dockside seafood joint on the water, sunset, music and amazing food. Our waitress Jenny was exactly what we love - ❤️ attentive, making suggestions, always made sure our wine glasses were full. Xoxox

We are local to Savannah and love going out to Tybee, as I grew up there as a kid. I wanted a place where we could wait out the storm and have some dinner. My fiancé had the bacon burger. Our son had the chicken finger dinner, and I had the boiled shrimp with a side of blue crab stew. We also had conch fritters & sweet potato waffle fries to start, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. We left SO happy! The staff, the location, the decor, the vibe, the view (even with the storm) and the food were all 10 out of 10. Also, the fresh watermelon margarita was the best margarita my fiancé has had in his life! Thank you guys for a great time ❤️ We cannot wait to come back!

Our server was awesome! Attentive, understanding, quick to answer all of our questions about the food and the area! He was also super chill with our 9 month old Isaac (even when the baby started getting a lil grumpy toward bedtime) My husband and I were able to walk to it from our room and it was well worth every penny! The food and drinks were phenomenal! You go to the beach to get seafood and it was bangin! I got the Calamari with a marinara sauce with some of the blackened shrimp n grits. My husband got a huge platter of seafood (dockside platter) and isaac stole some of his French fries. We came in with a stroller after our evening walk worried about space and everyone was so kind to us, the servers and guest were all so friendly. We were pretty early around 5or so but the seats filled up fast, they have a lovely view outside on the wooded balcony overlooking the water but we stayed inside with ac for lil man. You def need a reservation! Highly recommend!!

This place is a hidden gem! Service by Kyle was fantastic! Our refills were there before asking. Every serving was oversized! Pizza was huge! One $6 slice with whatever you want on it was great!! Drinks were tasty! Grandson had 4 refills of sweet tea! The atmosphere was fun with games available. The food was tasty & delicious! We ordered food to go as well! The prices were inexpensive and very reasonable! Will return!

Absolutely love it here. Our waitress Mrs. Jessica was really helpful and she made me and my wife feel right at home. The pizza was fantastic and the building is a must to come see

Such great pizza! Tons of food for your money. Best value on the entire island by far. Also a great hangout spot to just chill and socialize. Definitely a place to return to year after year. Staff is great and friendly too which makes the experience even better.

Best dive bar in America?? This place was such a surprise to us and we were lucky to find out about it. You have to see it to believe it. It’s on the left as you come into Tybee on the North Beach end. Funky, grungy, grimy, you name it, but awesome in its own way! Believe it or not the pizza is quite good and a very good value for the money. It was $6 a slice, and it was almost the equivalent of three slices. The service wasn’t necessarily the best as some of the bar staff seemed a little inattentive and not particularly friendly to tourists. But we got served, so no worries. It’s quite dark on the inside, but there is an outdoor patio area with bench seating. Just give it a go, it’s a memorable experience to say the least!!

Truly a one of one dining experience. Amazing pizza for the price. The atmosphere is seriously one of a kind. Great place to grab a drink and watch the game. I will be back.

Hidden gem on the island! Unbeatable prices and large portions. Seating is on your own so if you see a spot, you'd better grab it. There's no wait list, quickest one wins lol. Pizza is awesome and very large, salads are amazing, with lots of toppings, very similar to a Greek salad. Staff are friendly and food comes quick. I would say it's semi-kid friendly. It is a bar atmosphere but then again it depends on the crowd. Steep stairs to enter or wheelchair accessible around the corner. Careful, slippery when wet. Clean restrooms

A great little bar serving good, strong margaritas. It can sometimes take a while to be served but be patient. We have had food in the past which has been good but we mostly go for the margaritas! Great atmosphere in a grungy bar with very reasonable prices. We keep going back!

One of the most unique and interesting pizza restaurant I have ever visited. Decore is out of this world they even have Starbucks logo sign. Whole environment if friendly very good pizza and drinks. If they reduce cheese on plain pie and leave it in the oven for another minute that will give more crisp and burnt marks on the pizza. Can’t wait to come back. If you're looking for a quintessential beach experience on Tybee Island, look no further than Tybee Time Sports Bar. This charming beachfront bar is the ultimate destination for those seeking a relaxed vibe and delicious frozen daiquiris that pack a punch. With ten daiquiri machines at your disposal, you can choose from classic fruity flavors like banana and mango or venture into unique concoctions such as the Hurricane Rum Runner.
The only food they have here is popcorn! Which is popped regularly by the bartender and on this day Kimberly was our bartender who done a phenomenal job taking care of us!! This is our first time in Tybee Island, and we stopped in here to watch a football game and have a drink and have been thoroughly impressed by the great service! We eat out and drink about five nights a week and there are very few people who take care of you to the level that Kimberly does.

This is the best bar for drinks next to the beach! We hit this place up Everytime we are here. Great drink options and not watered down. I gave 2 stars for food because they do have popcorn if you ask for it. You are always on Tybee Time when you visit this place! Love it!

As nostalgic as it sounds this is one of my favorite places when I was young. I remember staying at Tybee Island every summer with my family. The atmosphere is laid back just like30 plus years ago.

Be very careful at this bar. There was a group here running a scam where they tried to start a fight with me by being inappropriate towards my girlfriend in order to get me to throw the first punch. A member of their group was filming the whole time trying to catch me throwing a punch so they could sue. Classic bar scam. DJ and bartender were clearly familiar with this party and the DJ yelled at me and had their backs despite the other party clearly being intoxicated, in the wrong, and blatantly inappropriate towards my girlfriend while filming us. There are plenty of other bars close by, just go to those if you want to avoid trouble like this.

Hole in the wall with great daiquiris! The gals who work here are awesome as well, Jenny is always a good time! Warning for those who dont like smoke, you are allowed to smoke inside this bar.

This place was so nice. It has a good location close to everything on the beach. The drinks are higher proof than normal and the bartender was amazing. We had the Pina colada and White Russian. You can sit and enjoy the bar atmosphere or take you non-glass cups out onto the beach. We were there for the day celebrating our 8 year anniversary. The bartender "drove" us samples in these tiny cars. You feel safe there too because everyone is friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk into the door.

Sundae Cafe at Tybee, a former ice cream parlor turned casual eatery, offers Southern-inspired seafood and steaks. By day, it's a laid-back spot with an extensive lunch menu featuring island-inspired dishes and traditional fare. At night, the restaurant transforms into an elegant cafe with a superb selection of appetizers and entrees. Some highlights include the seafood cheesecake appetizer and sweet potato-crusted grouper entree.
Amazing restaurant! Great service great food great atmosphere! We drove an hour plus from Hilton head just to celebrate my mother’s birthday with a great dinner and sundae cafe did not disappoint! We got apps a special fish offering, shrimp and grits, lemon cake and peach donut bread pudding… everything was delicious! Thank you so much for another great dinner experience! Highly recommended.

Wow; that is all I had to say leaving the Sundae Cafe. Seriously, some of the most exceptional food I have had in YEARS. We started with complementary homemade biscuits and peach jam, which were warm, delicious and the jam I would’ve taken home in a jar if I could’ve. The crab stuffed flounder was to die for, like completely blew my mind, the hot honey jerk shrimp was potentially my favorite shrimp I’ve had and the scallops were cooked beautifully, and tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. For dessert, we had a chocolate cake with fudge icing, which was phenomenal. Our server, Crystal, was a total doll, and the atmosphere was wonderful, especially given that this is located next to a damn liquor store and corner store! We will absolutely be back, and would give this 6 stars if we could. Don’t miss this gem while on Tybee! A place truly worth the price of admission (something I rarely find myself saying here).

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Everything we ordered was delicious, the calamari is a must. The burger and the seafood were very good. I have to say, the banana cream cheesecake was to die for, best dessert I’ve ever had. The service was great and so were the drinks. I already can’t wait to come back

So far this is the best restaurant I've been to on Tybee. Amazing food and atmosphere that you would have never expected from a gas station location. Pimento cheese balls were to die for, one of the best crab cakes I've ever had, ribeye was good but was honestly outshined by the sides. My only regret was not getting dessert.
Tophat D — Google review
The best meals on Tybee. I was blown away by the food here. The filet is to die for, and the banana pudding cheesecake is out of this world. From someone who worked in catering and hospitality for almost 10 years, take it from me: Sundae Cafe is the place to hit! Make a reservation - it fills up quickly!

This place is a gem!!! It’s very unassuming from the outside, but don’t be fooled! Beautiful atmosphere inside and the service and food is incredible! They bring bread and herbed olive oil to the table that is perfection in a pan! The pistachio crusted tuna is phenomenal!

If you have read my reviews, You may get the sense that I am a tough critic! I worked in food service for many years and I was a Corporate Trainer so I do believe that I have some understanding of what the experience should be. That Said... Sundae Cafe at Tybee was absolutely fabulous! I made the reservation online trusting others reviews about the place. I was a bit skeptical that it is in a gas station parking lot, kind of limited parking but the moment we were seated (sat at the bar by choice) the bar tender was friendly and made fabulous coctails and was attentive and timely taking our food orders. Then the food!!! OMG just fantastic. We ordered the Filet and Ribeye Steak dinners and were not dissapointed at all- highly recommend! Cooked perfectly both steaks, side options were cool local options and exceptional flavor as well. We finished with a flourless chocolate cake. Personally I think this place is a "cant miss" if you are visiting Tybee Island. It is a smaller venue and it is RESERVATION ONLY but dont let that deter you!! GO for sure if you can. Enjoy :-)

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but when you enter it’s a completely different experience and is elevated, and elegant in a coastal way. Our server was super kind and helpful. The portions are super generous and you will definitely be full. It’s not just fried food here either, they had specials that catered to fresh seafood that wasn’t fried. The wine was good quality too. The dishes are elegant and delicious!

CoCo's Sunset Grille is a laid-back eatery located by Lazaretto Creek, offering stunning views of the marina. The restaurant features a variety of traditional seafood dishes like fried shrimp and Alaskan snow crab, as well as flavorful options such as bourbon glazed salmon and tuna tacos. In addition to seafood, there are also choices for land lovers including sandwiches, steak, and ribs. Guests can enjoy the best sunset viewing spot on the island with a nightly sunset toast.
Stopped in for lunch and were greeted with friendly service, great food and a great view from the roof terrace. You can enjoy the “goings-on” around the dock and fishing pier below. Very relaxing. Great drink selections, a nice variety of dishes and daily food specials with an emphasis on fresh seafood. Parking challenges and a wait can be expected during peak times.

So I expected a whole lot more of this place. Let’s start with they did have great calamari and their crab stew was delicious. I can’t say the same for the Captains Seafood Platter. They only do fried in Light batter. The food wasn’t evenly fried. They replaced it with a small to go portion of the food which was still not evenly fried. I spoke the manager and she was very friendly and understanding. My son ordered the kids Hamburger and he gives it a 3. She gave us a Gift Card to come give them another try. We live in a 25 miles radius so we will give it another chance next month. It was nice to sit in the upper deck. They also have indoor sitting with families with smaller children.
Carmen P — Google review
Eating here was an ok experience, but not what we had hoped for. First, the hostess was unaware of what tables were available and denied us seating on the upper deck. Later, we learned there was plenty of room. Second, the food didn't impress anyone at the table. Everything looked good, but all of it lacked flavor and we felt upset stomachs after eating. As you can guess, we did not bring any home. If I could suggest anything positive, it would be that their appetizers were great. We enjoyed the seared ahi tuna and the she crab dip with chips. Maybe things could be more enjoyed if you plan to stop here for some drinks and apps on the way to the beach.
Cameron K — Google review
This is such a cute, chill little spot. We overheard that there are new owners but the menu was much to our liking although the crab dip would have been better warm. Chelsea’s service was awesome. The decor is cute as well. We’ll be back!
Brianna D — Google review
Believe the hype! It's not a tourist trap. If I we're local, I'd go every week. ahi tuna bites are seared ahi slices in yummy sauce. Crab dip is cold but so yummy. They are known for shrimp so get some or order the shrimp cake sandwich. Don't forget the deep fried strawberries for dessert.
Diana P — Google review
This place is a tourist trap, not worth the stop. The waitress claimed they have the best calamari on Tybee, but if that's the best... I don't want Tybee Calamari. We were lied to about outdoor seating availabilities and then to top it off, the food was bland and greasy leaving all of us with a nasty stomach ache. The plates looked pretty but it turned out to be another lie... we won't be back!
Rae'a S — Google review
The drinks, live music and vibe there are amazing. Wish I could say more about the food. The fried flounder was more bread than fish and the mozzarella sticks taste like ones you buy at walmart. Bartender is amazing with her vibe and friendliness. Beautiful views of the sunset there as well. Wish the food was better. They have cats there that are friendly and I loved very much.
Marie H — Google review
Coco’s Sunset Grille is a cute family friendly restaurant on the outskirts of Tybee. This was a last minute pick for my family, but it was pretty good! We all picked something shrimp related being that being the local catch. I enjoyed my fried shrimp! I choose to substitute my fries or mashed potatoes for an extra dollar because I felt like hush puppies, fries and fried shrimp would be a lot! The coleslaw and mashed potatoes were good, nothing special. However the hush puppies, fried shrimp and peel and eat shrimp was fantastic! We also had the crab dip as an appetizer. It was good and I would order it again! The chips seemed to be made in house and were a great addition to the dip. Overall, this is a laidback, family restaurant with great shrimp!

Rock House is a laid-back grill located on Tybee Island's bustling Butler Avenue. This family-friendly spot offers a seafood-heavy menu of comfort food, including a dozen delicious oysters on the half shell for $22 per person. Guests can enjoy live music, watch the game on big screens, or even dance to rock classics while indulging in great food. The restaurant also features an arcade to keep kids entertained.
We needed just food. Babaa wanted fries, cheeseburger & mac & cheese. I had a super big salad and Cajun wings. The food was good. Burger big. Mac & cheese delish. We ordered take out. It took a lil bit, but our service person, Gavin, was nice, friendly, thoughtful & professional. They have an arcade in the back with all kinds of games. WOW! Food good, location good.

We had lunch at Rock House for the first time while visiting Tybee Island and it was such a fun place to stop and eat! The vibe is laid back with a rock ’n roll theme throughout, and there are TVs everywhere showing nostalgic music videos and sports. The decor is cool and it’s definitely a casual, beach-town kind of spot. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries, and my husband got the grilled chicken tacos. Both meals were tasty and hit the spot after a beach day. The burger was juicy and the fries were classic. Not much flavor for the fries but I enjoyed them. The chicken tacos came with lots of toppings and sides and were super flavorful. It did take a little while to get our food, but we weren’t in a rush and the atmosphere kept us entertained. There’s also an arcade inside, which adds to the fun vibe, but just a heads up, you’ll need coins to play the games (no card swipe machines). Overall, the staff was friendly, the portions were great, and we left full and happy. Thank you for a good experience

What a fun place. We stopped in for lunch and are so happy we did. The food was so good. Chips and salsa had just the right kick of spice. Check out their headliners. The Beast is huge and crazy good! They have frozen drinks, amazing mixed drinks and beer as well as no alcohol drinks. I suggest the Rockin raspberry Peach drink. It was delicious. The quesadilla with chicken is very filling and tastes great.

Rock House burgers were probably one of the best burgers we have ever eaten. A must place to visit while on Tybee Island. I have to give a big shout out to the staff. My husband and I rented a condo for the weekend only to discover we had bath towels but no wash clothes. We asked the sweetest lady that sat us down where we could possibly buy those items on the island. She told us where to go to and we appreciated the suggestion. But while we were eating our delicious burgers her son, who was also an employee, walked in with a new pack of wash clothes for us. They were afraid the store that they had suggested would be closed before we were finished eating so he took it upon himself to see that we had something that's considered a necessity. We were so grateful for their thoughtfulness. Not only was the burgers probably the best burgers we have ever eaten but the staff have the biggest hearts to help people out in need. We are so thankful and grateful for the whole staff. If you are ever on Tybee Island you MUST eat at the Rock House

Our first restaurant experience in Tybee and it did not disappoint! It is a fun, laid-back atmosphere with fantastic service and amazing food. Shelby is awesome! She helped recommend a starter and dinner choices. We shared the chicken Quesadilla and the coconut shrimp and chips basket. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the shrimp was fresh and great portions! The hushpuppies should be classified as a drug because they are addictive! And the coleslaw is some of the best we've ever had. While we waited for our food, we played some old-school video games and a round of air hockey in their game room! Go see Shelby and bring your quarters for great food and fun games!

AWESOME NEIGHBORHOOD DIVE BAR! I walked in by myself on a Thursday evening. My first visit to Georgia, let alone quirky Tybee Island. I definitely stood out amongst the regulars who were belly-upped to the bar. Was an awkward entry because I was alone, but I went on to have an unforgettable time. Owner Denny himself saw I was a stranger and came over to introduce himself. We had a great talk. Later he introduced me to everyone at the bar, including his wife, all the bartenders, the cook, and most of the salty regulars. I really liked meeting Mike the Fisherman/Logger/Painter and his wife...who he met at Dennys 10 years prior. Gem of a guy. Loved the place but more importantly the people. Oh and the draft beer was icy cold and the bourbon was amazing. What a fantastic, memorable experience

It was my sister's birthday and four of us walked in with our birthday hats ready to shoot pool and have a good time. We got greeted with disgust by the bartender who said "oh great just what I needed" keep in mind there were two people in the bar you think she would have wanted the business. When we went to turn around and leave we got clapping and the comment thanks for leaving we want to the Sand bar across the street which was a blast. My sister is a bartender in Ft. Lauderdale Fl (has been for 30 Years) she insisted I write a review where ever I can find them listed...

Wet Willie's is a vibrant chain bar with locations across the country, famous for its colorful array of frozen daiquiris and unique pub food. While renowned for its alcoholic slushies, some Wet Willie's spots, like the one in Tybee, also serve a simple yet satisfying breakfast menu featuring items like breakfast nachos and three-egg omelets. The Tybee location is conveniently close to South Beach, making it an ideal spot to grab a bite before hitting the sand.
My second time stopping in was just as great as the first! I’ve been coming two years in a row for vacation. The guy working on Friday was wonderful. He made some great drink combinations!

Alright, buckle up buttercups, because we need to talk about Wet Willie's on Tybee Island! This isn't just a place for a frozen daiquiri; it's a full-blown experience, a vibrant explosion of flavor and fun that perfectly captures the spirit of a beach getaway! Wet Willie's is in a whole different league. They've got a dizzying array of flavors, each one a masterpiece of frozen concoction. Seriously, trying to choose is half the fun (and a little bit overwhelming in the best possible way!). Are you feeling fruity and refreshing? Dive headfirst into a Call a Cab with its perfect blend of peach, pineapple, and a hint of something wonderfully mysterious. Craving something a little more intense? The Attitude Improvement will definitely do the trick with its potent punch. And for the adventurous souls? Go wild with the Shock Treatment – but be warned, it lives up to its name! What makes these daiquiris so unbelievably good? It's the perfect consistency – thick and icy, never too slushy or too liquid. It's the bold and authentic flavors that taste like they're made with real fruit and top-notch ingredients. And it's the sheer variety – there's a flavor for every mood and every palate. Did I mention you can mix flavors, it's deliciously dangerous!!! Trust me, you'll want to sample more than one! But Wet Willie's is more than just amazing drinks. It's the whole vibe. It's the friendly bartenders who are always up for a chat and a recommendation. It's the prime location on Tybee, making it the perfect spot to cool down after a day on the sand or kick off a fun night out. It's the feeling that you're exactly where you're supposed to be, soaking up the good times. Here's the bottom line: If you're on Tybee Island and you don't make a pilgrimage to Wet Willie's, you are seriously missing out. It's not just a drink; it's a quintessential Tybee experience. It's the taste of vacation in a cup. Go grab a frozen daiquiri (or two, or maybe try a few!), soak in the atmosphere, and let the good times roll. Wet Willie's isn't just good; it's legendary! You absolutely HAVE to check it out! Oh and for the minors you have tagging along, don't worry they can order a "weak Willie" 😂 The food was delicious and made quick! We enjoyed everything about Wet Willie's!

Love the frozen mixed drinks!! They have them all lined up. The food here is wonderful! The chicken quesadilla and Southern fried fish was wonderful! And great fries. Will be back 🎉 Only con is the place is small, so don't expect to get a table, there are only 2-3 of them.

I know most go in for the drinks, but we chose the food.. twice in one week! It was delicious and the portion sizes are large.
Jean S — Google review
The drinks are amazing & the fact you can walk off with them is even better. Not much room in the place itself, so if you want to eat too, I'd suggest taking it to the pier. As for the food, holy cow was it overpriced for what get. $15 you get 6 wings, that's it. I was extremely underwhelmed by the fact that 2 "meals" (6 wings & 3 sliders with a few fries) plus 2 drinks in the coozie bottles ended up being $100. The service was good, drinks themselves are great! I love they have 2 sugar free options!! That's why I still give the four stars. It's not often I can partake in sweet, summery treats as a diabetic. I appreciate that they have that option! So, we will be back for drinks next time we're in Tybee, but definitely not the food lol There's much better & cheaper lunch & dinner options.

I didn't eat here, but my husband did. He's a burger guy, and he really enjoyed the food here. Burger itself was seasoned well, and the fries were good and crispy. What impressed me was the wall of alcoholic slushies! I've never seen so many flavors! We sampled a few, and settled on the chocolate for my husband, and the chocolate mixed with the white Russian for me. They're pretty easy sipping, so they can sneak up on you! Delicious though!

We came here and it was great. I know it's a chain and usually chains aren't the best but this one is different. I got chicken tenders tossed in buffalo sauce. It was great. The Daiquiris were great. Location was great. Staff was nice. One of our food items took some time and we didn't ask but the manager came out and gave us a discount. Once again without asking. I will definitely be back.

Chamacos Tacos & Surf is a cozy taco shop and surf spot located in Tybee Island, offering a delightful taste of authentic Mexican cuisine. The menu features a diverse selection of flavors, including breakfast options like huevos rancheros and huevos divorciados. Additionally, the Pinche Chowder pays homage to the local seafood culture with its fusion of Mexican cuisine and fresh shrimp.
Stopped in for tacos after a day of exploring in Tybee. Good and hungry and the street tacos didn't disappoint. I'm from Texas and we have many good Street taco places to choose from. Expectations were not too high and they exceeded my expectations. The steak and brisket tacos were delicious!
Rex M — Google review
My entire family loved this place. The chip sampler. We all agreed the queso was very good. Our baja fish and shrimp street tacos were so good. My son ordered the carnita Street Taco and refused to share. My husband & I loved the peach margaritas.
Amy D — Google review
We stopped in for lunch on Mother's Day, we were in town from Florida. Absolutely loved the surfer vibe and laid back atmosphere. The chips, salsa, and queso were literally some of the best I've ever had. Honestly, I've had my fair share of taco bowls in my day, but nothing, and I mean nothing, even comes close to what Chamacos is serving up. It's the kind of dish you'll be dreaming about long after you've left Tybee. I already want another one! The carne asada was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection! The bowl was so vibrant from all the food colors! So, do yourself a favor and make Chamacos a priority on your next trip. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you. Their taco bowls? They're not just good, they're a culinary revelation! Go get one – you won't regret it!

DELICIOUS! Stopped for a quick snack after the beach, so happy we stopped at Chamacos! The tacos were great. We tried the shrimp, chicken, and steak tacos. The employees were super welcoming. Wish we were staying closer, definitely would have made a second stop at this place!

My boyfriend and I were celebrating our 3 year anniversary here at Tybee and came across Chamacos after chilling at North Beach! The food was amazing and so were the drinks, we were so happy to come by and try it out. The gentleman making our drinks was friendly and helpful!

Cool spot! The food was very good. Our dinner consisted of beef empanadas and tacos. Delicious food and the margaritas were spectacular too! Highly recommended, especially top off with the churro for desert and you won’t be disappointed!

We had Chamacos twice on vacation last week, it was that good. Wife ordered pork belly tacos and said the margarita was one of the best she’s had. Fun little selection of arcade games for the kiddos, too.

With an array of entertainment options like pool tables, dart boards, and multiple TVs showcasing all kinds of sports—no game is too obscure for this venue!
WOW where do I begin… came in for a quick bite and left more satisfied than I ever could’ve imagined. A timeless atmosphere and the best service. The wings were so fire. Beer was cheap and cold… can’t complain! LOVE this spot.

We had excellent food in this dive bar. The prices were great and we enjoyed a game of pool while waiting for the food. The mozzarella sticks were among the best I have ever had. I had a Philly cheese steak which was great and crinkle cut fries. My husband had a cheeseburger and beer battered onion rings. If you hate dirty, dusty, run down dive bars, I would skip this place.
Carrie M — Google review
The food was delicious. Definitely would order again. The place was very smokies. They had a pool table and other games for people to play. My husband referred to it as a dive. But the food was worth going back. Perhaps take out the next time. When we were there, it was too cold to sit outside.

my favorite local spot that me and my boyfriend enjoy so much, Dave and Tish are the best bartenders, you feel like family when you come in, the best isn't just the food, or the most fantastic service, its the fact that you can smoke inside! what more could you ask for?! this is the absolute best place, you will not regret coming here! Tish is an awesome bartender, shes just a girls go, you always feel safe when she works, the kitchen staff especially Paul, he doesn't get enough recognition for his amazing food be prepares, and Dave is the best bartender on Tybee, he rings a big bell that he rings when someone gives a food tip, the atmosphere just takes the cake, and you'll also hear Dave's famous line, "alright now." 😁

My favorite bar on the island! I’ve been a regular for two years now and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else after work. LOVE Tish and Dave! Fantastic food, heavy pours—everything you could want from a dive!

David is the best! He says he knows all and he does :) Great apps and great steak sandwiches!! Please stop here if you’re leaving Tybee Island kinda late and have the munchies. My boyfriend only had lettuce on his steak sandwich and was so happy. I had the grilled onions and it was simply delicious. Margaritas were just perfect!! Please take this from a tequila lover. Cheers to friendly locals for recommending this place at the last minute at 10:30 at night!

I am truly taken back by the nasty treatment I received today! I went in around 5:50, urgently heading towards the bathroom I was stopped by the female bartender who aggressively said “WOAH what do you think your doing running in here?!?” I politely responded and let her know that I was rushing to the bathroom because it was an emergency! She asked if I was over 21 and I let her know that I am, so she asked to see my ID I let her know it was in the car but I was rushing to the restroom which is why I forgot it! She still being aggressive told me that I had to leave the bar! I understand doing your job and making sure that minors aren’t in the establishment however I’m not a fan of the nasty attitude I received from the moment I walked in! I went two doors down to another BAR and was greeted with smiles! They seen how much of a rush I was in to use the bathroom and immediately pointed me in the direction!! When I was finished the manager asked if I was feeling better! Two total different interactions just two doors down! Please have better hospitality!
Aryana C — Google review
Went in for drinks with my friends while we were on vacation and had a terrible experience. There was no bouncer or anyone at the door to look at our ids, so we walked in as you would any other bar. We had never been there before so we just walked to the end to check out the atmosphere, when the bartender ran up to us and another group to card all of us, which is probably their protocol which we had no problem with and handed her our ids. She then looked at all of them and started laughing saying that “wasn’t gonna work” I asked her “Why?” We are from out of state so we’re used to getting our ids looked at longer, no big deal. She then said “I don’t feel comfortable with any of y’all’s ids and I don’t have to give you a reason, plenty of other bars to go to” I offered her our passports which we all had because like I said we are out of state so we wanted to be prepared if anyone had any questions. She refused to even look at anything else for reasons she still didn’t give. All of my friends were sober and we will also all be 24 this year lol. I believe she also denied the other group service as well, probably for the same reason. I myself am a bartender and have denied service many many times, never for absolutely no reason though. Situation was completely unavoidable and unnecessary. Experience definitely left a bad taste in all of our mouths. Seemed as if bartender just didn’t want to serve us for no reason at all. Wouldn’t recommend:)
Madi S — Google review
I would never recommend The Sandbar, especially for women. This place does not feel safe at all. The staff makes no effort to step in when patrons cross the line — in fact, it felt like they were more interested in encouraging drunk behavior than keeping the atmosphere respectful. When I felt uncomfortable, instead of support, I was dismissed and even shamed, while the men causing the issue were allowed to keep going. No bar should make women feel like the problem when they’re being harassed. Absolutely unacceptable.

We had a party of six. Ours meals came out 2 at a time, 10 minutes apart except 1 that I had the manager check on after everyone else had theirs. Our server sucked! The manager was very apologetic and sweet. Food was mediocre. Fire the server and kitchen staff. Kudos to the manager!

In town for a wedding and my mom and I were trying to find a place with cold beers and hometown vibes. Found it. I couldn't have been happier, the bartender was on his shit, plus he had the coolest Bob Ross shirt. Security/bar back was a great, awesome personality with patrons and guests which goes a long way in service. Found the bar I'll be getting my ice-cold highlifes from for the rest of my trip. Felt like my neighborhood bar back home 10/10.

Their food was very good. Got the Shrimp basket with fries. Fries weren't the best, definitely get the spuds, they're great. Fun atmosphere, friendly wait staff, and quick service! Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice lunch spot.

A place you need to try, the food was good and the service was perfect thanks to Jordan. The drinks never ran dry. Home of the Chicken finger? Definitely home of a damn good chicken finger, and if it is not the home, it should be.

came in a few weekends ago. Food was good, our waitress was wonderful. Enjoyed the decor ✨️. This is practically on the beach, but you are not able to see the ocean unless you are up on the second floor which they currently have closed. we ordered a few appetizers. I was surprised at the size of the fried pickle basket. I could barely eat half. The artichoke dip was good. We ordered hamburgers and fried chicken stripe. very crispy. fries were OK. Family friendly, they asked 2 men to leave who showed up in only speedos, but it did appear they were just asking for directions or something.

Very good meal. Grab the spuds over the fries. Roof top deck permanently closed (over ten years). Plenty of seating, and could accommodate larger parties. Wheelchair accessible and very family friendly. Large portions too.

We drive 2 hrs one way just to get fingers and spuds! We have traveled all over this country and still come back to Tybee to eat! Nothing beats it. Unfortunately they were sold out of mushrooms. Otherwise super delish as usual!

Absolutely loved it. We went in because my kids were craving chicken and fries. I had no expectations going in, but the food was delicious. I had a Cesar wrap and the dressing was so tangy. The fried chicken is delicious, which is good since that's they're claim too fame, haha. The crab dip was also wonderful. It was a spicy without overwhelming heat, and had a good flavor. Spuds were good too. I really appreciate our server taking the kids' order as soon as we sat down. They were so hungry and it really helped us out to get their food ASAP. Thanks for that!

Greeted promptly when we arrived. Went early afternoon for quick lunch. Not a lot of people inside. Had fry basket, mozzarella sticks, crab dip, & tenders w/spuds. Chicken was good. Mozzarella sticks were good but salty. Eight sticks came in basket & were filling. Good size portions. Chris our server was great/helpful.

Sea Wolf Tybee is a versatile restaurant offering a diverse menu of gourmet hot dogs, oysters, and vegan tacos alongside an extensive selection of cocktails, beer, and wine. The establishment supports the local shrimping industry by serving Wild Georgia Shrimp. During Tybee Restaurant Week, Sea Wolf is participating for the first time with a sophisticated entree and wine pairing at an affordable price.
Sea Wolf was a total gem during our time in Tybee; our only regret is not having been there sooner! Firstly, the atmosphere was great. Super cute outdoor seating, and inside was very vibe-y (in the best way possible). Our service (I wish I could recall the guys name and shout him out directly) was great, very lowkey, but also incredibly warm and welcoming. We had the salmon dip, it was creamy, delicious, and the bread that came with it was SO good. My partner got the classic dog, I got a specialty dog with peaches and all kinds of good stuff, and both were a great portion, coming with a side of chips and a pickle. The bun was super toasty, the dog itself was a good size, and the toppings were delicious. And the price point is fantastic! So glad we stopped by, and will definitely be back next time we’re on the island.

We were SO happy to find a Vegan Friendly Restaurant in Tybee with options other than a salad or hummus. The Chicago Vegan Hotdog was delicious, as were the Smashed Potatoes, and the Mango Cabbage Salad. We loved it so much we went for dinner and then lunch the next day. The cocktails were so tasty and fun.

Such a quaint, eclectic and adorable place. We came right after a rain shower but sat on the porch since there were no tables inside. They put towels on our seats and made sure we were taken care of. I had the vegan classic dog which was sooo good since a vegetarian option isn't always available in most places. The rest of the crew enjoyed the wagyu dogs. Cocktails were unique and creative. Oysters were good but really small.

Champagne, oysters and hot dogs! This place is so charming it makes me reconsider the atmosphere scale for all future places. Fun, casual, and relaxed- this is wonderful! Like old family money quirky so just enough for special occasions and yet laid back and beach relaxed. If you are looking for more interesting beach food than the everyday touristy fried shrimp this is your place! Vegetarian and vegan hot dogs loaded up! Great oysters! We ate here for dinner and brunch and both were excellent. They don’t take reservations or have a phone so that actually means you have a shot at a summer table. To us this is easily worth a drive from Savannah and a must do when in Tybee!

This was our favorite place on Tybee Island! We ate at several places and this was the best for the atmosphere, food, staff, and drinks! We ate outside and they have shade and giant fans that kept it cool on a hot day. The iside decor is so fun too!! The street corn dip was soooo good and the hot dog that Guy Fieri had on his show was really pretty great! Highly recommend you go if your visiting Tybee!!

I can't rave about this place enough. I was at Tybee last weekend and after rain ruining my entire trip in Savannah, we went to Tybee for tropical vibes and stopped by Zunzibar. We were super happy with the vibe, their drinks and food. Definitely a tropical vibe place with great patio vibe and sipping on cocktails was a great idea. Our server was well informed and recommended us dishes. Thank you Sabina for that. The manager took good care of us and the staff was warm and helpful. For food we loved the bird island sandwich, so flavorful and healthy served with a side of Zunzi's chips & dips that are so good. Can't miss out on this. Wings in Dank sauce were juicy and delicious. Tossed in the sauce well, flavorful refreshing taste. In drinks, we ordered Coco-MO and Banana Hammock and each of them was exceptionally good. So tropical and much needed to beat the heat. My overall experience was extraordinary here, I would definitely go here again on my next visit to Tybee.

Great Vibes! Sabina is amazing! Tonight's our 20th Anniversary and Zunzis was a great way to kick off the night. Amazing live acoustic music and fantastic service! Destiny last night was just as amazing! Now, food is still good, but the new bread is somewhat disappointing from the OG original. I'm hoping some of the menu changes from the main location don't get pushed out to the other locations. We love zunzis! Don't break what's not broken. Tony and I hit "Doc's Bar" as his 5th place on Bar Crawl...it's been in business since 1948! Like the previous places dark with the only natural light coming through the door and front windows! The nighttime bartenders, two older ladies, had terrible personalities and gave us attitude when asking for water. They also overcharged us on our drinks! They did however have a good band that we would have stayed longer if it wasn’t for the terrible service. If you go there, go during the day when guy Bama is working.
E R — Google review
We stopped into Doc’s Bar for the first time because we’d heard the food was good and wanted to check it out. We came in at a very slow time in the middle of the day so perhaps staff was short? I’m sure this is a fun place in the evenings. We ordered a soda and one other drink but my drink was wrong and we never received a food menu (maybe they don’t have one perhaps) so we ended up just finishing our drinks and heading out. The vibe seemed fun and casual, and we were really looking forward to trying the food. Hopefully, this was just an off day. Thank you for your time.

First off, we loved the atmosphere and decor! This place was perfect for groups and had several large tables. Ten of us went for brunch on Sunday which ended up being Bluegrass Brunch and a fun bluegrass band was playing. The brunch was delicious and offered great choices without being over priced! We gobbled up the pimento cheese and burrata appetizers. I ordered the shrimp and grits and the we're plump and juicy and the cheese grits were so yummy! The food took a long time, which was due to an understaffed kitchen according to the waitress. The service was just okay, the waitress seemed out of it. The bluegrass band made this place for us. FYI for out of town/state travelers as ourselves, the local law couldn't allow alcohol sales until 1230 on Sundays. We did end up ordering some drinks once 12:30 came and the drink menu had lots of tasty drink options.
Dana D — Google review
We had high expectations for what looked like a really cool place to visit on the island. Loved the atmosphere and decor. We went for the “Bluegrass Brunch”, arrived early and waited at the bar for our friends to arrive. After finally getting the bartender’s attention we ordered drinks that were actually pretty good. We then moved to a table and ordered appetizers. After what was actually 30 minutes I asked to see the manager because it was obvious that we had been forgotten or someone lost our order. The manager/owner apologized and brought our snacks to us. We decided not to take a chance on ordering anything else.

One of the very best meals I've had in some time. I saw some negative reviews, and I'm so glad I decided to go last night anyway. Incredible atmosphere, the staff was very hospitable, we got free (excellent and not overpoweringly loud) folk music, and the food was worth savoring. Don't miss it.

Food was horrid. Service was ok, place is nice and different but I just can't get over the food. The cheese dip was mostly covered in some kind of water and grease. It tasted indifferent at best. The Burger was just ok and the chips that come with it tasted and looked like they were cooked yesterday and microwaved to warm them up right before the meal. The chips were all mushy and not pleasing in the least. The street tacos had one taste to them and I had three different ones all tasteless for the most part. Don't go here go anywhere but here for dinner. Maybe brunch is different but their dinners are overpriced and frankly not good.

This place is a cute, quaint little spot wonderful to grab some drinks with friends! We haven't tried the food yet but it looked incredible!! We will be back for my wedding rehearsal!

Terribly slow service. When food eventually came, several items were missing from the dishes. The Mexican breakfast burrito was actually a wrap. The Surfers Breakfast was missing the advertised mushrooms and was overall lack lustre. The biscuit and gravy was advertised with sausage yet no sausage came with the plate and we had to asked the waiter to bring some. Just a bit of a cluster all round and not cheap either. We would not recommend to others. and wish we hadn’t wasted the time or money. Heard manager speak to another unhappy customer using the excuse that it was a busy weekend (Pirate’s Fest the day before). That excuse doesn’t work for me - either have more staff on shift or don’t seat customers you know you’re going to disappoint.
James S — Google review
Excellent and unique chow at a reasonable price point. Cool open air vibe with interesting decor. Servers were cordial and food arrived piping hot. Cant forget to mention the comprehensive beer and booze selection. That being said, we ate a very early dinner at this establishment. The joint was practically empty and it's not hard to wait on two people. I could easily see the service and the atmosphere rapidly deteriorate as the evening wore on and the bar crowd piled in. This statement falls in line with some of the other more negative reviews. Ultimately the Social Club was a satisfying dining experience. The shrimp and grits and fish tacos were on point. It was a refreshing departure from other chintzy restaurants on the island. Recommend.

Tybean Coffee Bar is a charming and unique spot located in a quirky building on the North End of Tybee Island. This female-owned establishment offers a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, with its art-adorned cottage setting and a gift shop. Open until 1:00 pm every day, it's the perfect place to grab premium drip coffees, cold brews made from Atlanta-based Dancing Goats coffee, smoothies, homemade pastries, and frappes.
Guys. First we tried early in the morning to stop here and grab some coffee, The line was insane so taking that as a good sign we decided to come back later when the crowd had died down. A few hours later we came back, the line was still…insane. While my husband hunted us a parking space I decided to brave the line, all the while thinking to myself “this better be damn good coffee”. This trip to Tybee, a place we frequent a couple of times a year with our kids, had been a last minute spontaneous 24 hr trip for just the two of us. Needless to say, we weren’t keen on wasting any of our precious time…especially waiting in line for coffee. My husband ordered just a regular black house blend coffee and I ordered a Caramel Frappe. They called our name and we picked up our order. Moment of truth… Worth every second of that damn line, lol. This place knows coffee, my husband was more than happy with his coffee and I was instantly in love with my Frappe. I sipped down every last drop. Whether when we come back next time and have 5 days or only 24 hrs, this special little treasure in Tybee will forever be on our must visit list. Brave the line, worth it!

We absolutely LOVED Tybean Coffee Bar! I had the strawberry smoothie and my husband got a hot coffee and their breakfast burrito. Everything was delicious, fresh, and surprisingly inexpensive! The tropical decor and laid-back vibe honestly made me feel like I was back on the Hawaiian islands—I didn’t want to leave. It’s such a hidden gem! Don’t be intimidated by the long line—it’s popular for a reason, and the staff moves through orders super fast. You won’t be waiting long, and it’s totally worth it. Cozy, colorful, and full of charm. We’ll definitely be coming back every time we visit Tybee!

5 stars all the way. Really nice place. I was feeling groovy lol so I got the groovy smoothie. Mango banana and coconut. A must go place when visiting Tybee island. We also loved the breakfast burritos and frappe.
Angel E — Google review
Super fun beachy vibe and good coffee. I am a coffee snob- I hate burnt tasting coffee and overly sweet lattes. I tried an iced latte and forgot to ask for it lightly sweet, as well as a regular hot drip. The iced latte doesn’t taste like it’s got a pound of sugar in it, even without me asking for light on the sugar. That’s a win for me!! Drip is smooth and yummy. We also tried the mango smoothie- yum, and the chocolate chocolate muffin for my daughter. We loved everything! And the vibe is really fun- super chill.
Erin W — Google review
I wanted to try Tybean after seeing it on TikTok. I like that they offer so many flavors and different coffee options. It was hard to decide what I wanted in my iced latte so I add coconut and peppermint and it was delicious!!! The atmosphere and customer service was great. There is always a long line, but the coffee is worth the wait. There is limited seating so I took my coffee to go. I will go back for some more coffee and to treat their breakfast burrito whenever I visit Savannah again.

My husband and I love Tybee and stopped by this hidden gem today. We tried both the blackbean and the tater tot breakfast burritos and a black coffee and a delicious latte. We cant wait to come back. At first we ordered 1 burrito then we got in the car and ate it - and walked back in and bought another one haha. Everything was amazing quality and taste!

Salt Island Fish and Beer is a charming, rustic-chic restaurant located on Tybee Island. This new addition to the island's dining scene offers a delightful selection of seafood dishes, burgers, craft beers from local breweries, and carefully crafted cocktails. The menu is designed to tantalize taste buds with inventive flavors that can't be found elsewhere. Emphasizing a "craft" approach, both the food and cocktail menus feature locally sourced ingredients made from scratch.
I went today to pick up their corn chowder. First of all, the building is neat and clean. The servers and bartender were so kind and expeditiously served my food and drink. The corn chowder is the absolute best I have ever had. Full of flavor, not overcooked and truly a wonderful blend of flavors. I can’t wait to go back and try more. I have been to almost all of the restaurants on Tybee and the service and food was some of the best I’ve had here.

The service and food are great here. Our waiter was so friendly and helpful with his recommendations and popular item selections. We had the blackened grouper with grits and veggies, the seasoning and sauces were very good! And the fried shrimp, onion rings were amazing!

Amazing food! I got the fish and grits and it was the best fish on the whole island. The espresso martini was also great enjoyed on the patio with some live music. Must eat if you’re on Tybee. Oh and their patio is also dog friendly :)

Unassuming on the outside, but let me tell you they served me the best piece of fried flounder I've ever eaten. Some of the meals come with breaded/fried pepperoncini--they might've been my favorite thing? Fresh and tasty oysters, served with a really great red wine mignonette. Best casual meal I've had on the island, don't skip it.

Pier 16, a newcomer to Tybee's culinary scene, has quickly gained a devoted following for its fresh and sustainably sourced seafood. The restaurant offers a variety of shrimp, fish, and crab dishes along with cocktails and beer. Guests can enjoy tacos with options like grilled fish served on flour tortillas with pico de gallo, purple cabbage, avocado, and chipotle lime aioli.
This place is great! We showed up just before the rain started, and they moved us indoors with no issue. Our waitress, Halo, was very attentive, and very friendly. The food was amazing, and the wait for our meals was short. They were really nice, and gave me a slice of cake for my birthday.

Pier 16 is a beautiful location near the beach. We sat outside on the top floor, the view was wonderful at sunset. All of our food came out hot and fresh! The margaritas are tasty. The people at my table said that their meat dishes were delicious! My partner and I are vegetarians, and were pleased with our dishes. We ordered the Arcadia strawberry salad and the Fried green tomato sandwich. Both were very fresh, and the raspberry vinaigrette for the salad is great. The french fries are also good. I hope to come back, and maybe there will be more plant dishes to try in the future!

Stopped in for lunch on a Monday. The place was surprisingly busy, given that the weather was less than impressive. Nicki, who thoroughly explained the menu and pointed out recommendations, suggested the mahi mahi tacos, which were fantastic. The pico, in particular, was AWESOME, given that this is a seafood restaurant. Good and service were both on point. Will definitely go back.
C H — Google review
This place is an understatement. They have everything going on right with the music, environment, menu, and drink choices. However, when the food comes, it is beyond underwhelming. I had a low country boil. I have never had a seafood boil where the seafood is not boiled with the seasoning. This makes all the difference. The food was bland. The fake butter was not delightful. It could use some fine-tuning. The soup tasted like it came from a can or bag. Price point was OK. Service was great. If you need a quick bite, it will do - but if you’re looking for a flavorful meal, this is not the place.

The food was great but it is really something when you see staff with genuine smiles and laughs! The restaurant was clean, colorful and comfortable. Everyone was happy with their meals. I had the bacon jam scallops and they were delicious. My son had a burger and it looked so good… it was gone pretty quick. We also had the key lime cake for dessert and it was perfect. Our server, Dakota, was attentive and friendly. We had a great experience and I would highly recommend Pier 16 to anyone.

Tybee Beach Pier and Pavilion, located near North Beach, is a popular spot for fishing, leisurely strolls, and capturing vivid photos. Built in 1891, it offers unobstructed views and hosts dances, musical performances, and special events. Nearby attractions include the historic Tybee Island Lighthouse and Fort Screven. The area also provides easy access to restaurants, shops, public restrooms, and attractions like the Tybee Marine Science Center.
The Tybee Island Pier & Pavilion is always one of our favorite places to visit when we’re on the island. It’s a fun and relaxing place to walk, enjoy the ocean views, and people-watch. There are little stands where you can grab food or drinks (just a heads up—many are cash only, so come prepared!). This time was especially memorable because I actually got stung by a stingray for the first time ever. We walked over to the First Aid Station at the pier, and the staff there were so helpful and kind. They let us use their vinegar spray on my ankle, and it brought almost immediate relief. I was so thankful they were there and knew exactly what to do. The whole area is well-maintained, there’s seating, shade, and the beach access is super close by. Whether you’re fishing, taking photos, or just soaking in the sea breeze, this is a spot worth visiting. We always end up having such a great time here and can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I were vacationing with some friends and ate here for dinner one night as a last minute decision. Honestly, we were very surprised with the food. Flavors were really good, especially for a tourist town. The staff was also very welcoming and nice. We were brought endless chips and salsa, which were good. We ordered the Table Guacamole and the service size was just that, for a table! It fed 7 people and we had leftovers! Flavors were good too, not overpowering! For dinner I ordered the Carne Asada Tacos. The portion size was perfect! Flavors were also good! My wife orders the Enchilada Supreme. She doesn’t usually eat her full meal, but this time she cleaned the plate! We would go back, for sure!

Best place on Tybee for all age groups over 21. Christi the bartender is the best, she has so much energy and makes everyone feel welcome. She makes the best drinks. We never miss the opportunity to come here when we visit Tybee. If you are looking for great place to go and have a great time and conversations with locals and out of town people this is the place to go. Oh the DJ is the best. He plays all kinds of music. So I see a lot of these reviews are capturing one element or another about Nickie’s. “The fries were great!“ “Really good beer!“ “The service is really nice“ These reviews, however kind, do not begin to describe the magic, beauty, grandeur, and essence of Nickie’s 1971. Let me put it to you straight: this is the best bar in America. I love this place more than I can describe. It’s a familiar fireplace on a cold winter night. It’s your mother wrapping you in a hot blanket when you’re sick. It’s the loving embrace of a wife to her soldier upon his return home from battle. The vibes are the best of any bar I’ve ever set foot in. If you do only ONE THING on Tybee Island, go to Nickie’s. Karaoke is tight 10/10.

Some of the best bartenders we’ve had in years! Tori and Eddy have been absolutely incredible—friendly, attentive, and genuinely made our honeymoon extra special. We’ve been here a couple of times now, and every visit they go above and beyond, even on the busiest nights. We’re from Houston and Austin and have been out to 6th Street plenty over the years, but this has truly been the best experience we've had together so far! . Because of Tori and Eddy, we’ll keep coming back. They made us feel celebrated, and we can’t thank them enough for the unforgettable service! like neither of us are from here and we wanna come back because they genuinely made us feel so special, even on busy nights 🫶

Cockspur Grill is a vibrant island eatery that bravely opened its doors in the midst of the pandemic, quickly becoming a beloved spot for Southern coastal cuisine. Despite its recent establishment, it has seamlessly integrated into the Tybee community, offering live music, trivia nights, and an inviting atmosphere. The grill is not only known for its entertainment but also as a great place to catch football games while enjoying ice-cold beer and delectable bites from the kitchen.
A nice place that takes you by surprise. It's located next to a gas station, and it's easy to miss it, so be sure to watch for it. That being said, it has an awesome outdoor seating area, with live music and a great atmosphere. The food is good, the place is clean, and the staff is friendly. I actually sat at the bar next to the owner and got to chat with him for a while, and it was 'Spectacular.' :-) If you haven't been here, you should 100% give it a try.

Do not be afraid of the first impression. Yes, it is attached to a gas station. The food and service is top notch. We were told by another guest in our condo on our last visit to visit here and we did not make it. We had the Chicken Tortellini, Crab Cakes, Grouper with Teriyaki Rice and Shrimp Zoodles with a tomato cream reduction. We also had the seafood nahos which were really good. Our server and her trainee were very nice and funny. So glad we went to The Cockspur Grill. This place will get a visit from us every visit to Tybee. All of our dishes were on the daily special menu and were under $20 each. Those giant crab cakes were just $12!

This is by far the best place we’ve eaten during our trip! From apps to mains to dessert, it was spot on delicious every time. Hey Folks, Do not let the obsure siloette of the front of this place discourage you in any way. The music is foundational to the area and even in its new opening in 2020 I believe the Owners will be a stable in the area for as longs as they have their way. The food was great. You must try a loaded Bloody Marry. The slider and amazing shrimp wear fantastic and deviously delicious 😋. I look forward to returning and will make this a regular stop. July 30th will be a great day for the establishment. Please say HI !! for me and tell John happy birthday. Many more brother your attitude about the place is fantastic. I wish you great success and can not wait to see you again soon. Have a drink and enjoy the local community of wonderful people that support this great establishment for a good reason. A special note to Courtney thank you for making us feel at home and a welcomed friend. 😊

Well, for dinner choice a local recommended this place, (must have been drunk.) Family of 10, place was full but took table on porch since it had cooled down. Hostess / waitress tried her best. Food came out slow and was terrible. Two in my party ordered steak dinners, which were overcooked and had such a burn taste could not eat. Brought it to owners attention and he just walked away. Every single item ordered was subpar. Avoid at all cost, I do not recommend.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but the repeated negative experiences at this liquor store have left me no choice. An older woman working there has consistently been rude, dismissive, and, quite frankly, racially insensitive toward me and my family. During one visit, my cousin had a drink in hand. and instead of simply stating it wasn’t allowed in the store, she aggressively declared it was “illegal,” which felt unnecessarily harsh and accusatory. After my cousin respectfully stepped outside, she came up to me and interrogated me in a very confrontational tone, asking, “Where is that boy that was with y’all?” as if we were doing something wrong just for being there. What’s worse is this wasn’t a one-time incident. Each time we’ve visited, she has treated us with unwarranted suspicion and hostility, even though we are paying customers. We initially tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe she was having a bad day but the pattern of behavior has made it clear this is how she chooses to treat certain people. Very disappointed. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect especially when conducting business. I sincerely hope the management addresses this kind of behavior, because it reflects poorly on the entire establishment.
Yaz L — Google review
I had a deeply uncomfortable experience at this liquor store. During a recent visit, I was holding a drink while walking through the store. Instead of calmly informing me of the store’s policy, the older woman working there jumped straight to saying it was “illegal” to have a drink inside. There was no reason for the accusation it could’ve been handled differently. Out of respect, I stepped outside immediately. But then she made it clear that this wasn’t just about store policy it was personal. She then approached my family inside and harshly asked, “Where is that boy that was with y’all?” like I had done something wrong. Her tone was accusing and aggressive. Every time we’ve come into this store, she treats us with coldness and suspicion, unlike how I’ve seen her interact with other customers. It’s hard to ignore the feeling of being racially profiled just for existing in a space where we’re spending our money like everyone else.

Tourist. 1st timer and repeat over the weekend. What a great looking, clean liquor store and the cashier was so helpful and from San Diego originally - which was cool for us coming from Los Angeles. We got local beers, seltzers, frozen liquor pops, and the cashier recommended some small bottles that help with a hangover. The wine, rose, and champagne collection looked great - we didn’t get any but the selection was awesome. They even had a cold walk in cooler to get beer and seltzers ready for drinking on the beach. Wish we had this liquor store back at home.

David was AMAZING so friendly and knowledgeable about the bourbon they sell!! If you drink bourbon, you have to stop here to find the “ones” you can’t find at home!! Always one of our first stops while visiting Tybee!! 🥃

Super friendly staff and a great selection. Even had a few harder to find bourbons for a good price. Definitely worth checking out.

Great selection and being offered a cold bottle of Tito’s to replace the warm one we brought to the counter was a great touch

Took a moment to find...It's on the 2nd floor. Well worth the walk up those steps. We had Thai Chicken, Jerked Chicken, and Prime rib melt. All were great! Service was excellent as well!

It’s a cute little brewery. We stopped in for a quick drink. The beer was great and so was the mixed drink too. You need to be able to walk up the steps to get in the brewery. They have merchandise you can purchase. The bartender was great to talk to while we were there. Friendly people around the bar. Just a fun little spot.

The beers are all fantastic! The food is spectacular! Chef Casey is truly amazing with his creativity. He sources locally and the flavors are just incredible. The music is good and the service is pleasant. I’ll be making this my local go to spot! We tried the brisket quesadillas, the bruschetta and the smoked turkey BLT. Large portions, we brought leftovers home! As for beers, we tried the Nice Berries Kolsch, About Lager Time, and I See Red Lagers. All were great! I had three of the Nice Berries, getting one to go and walk on the beach with. Highly recommend!

Great service! The food is a million times better than we expect. Great margaritas and beer. The quesadilla, BLT, and cucumber salad are delish. Highly recommend!

I've been coming to Tybee annually since the beginning of the craft beer boom. I was so excited when Back River opened. Even better, they make a wide variety of styles including some more traditional beer flavored beer, my favorite kind. I have not been disappointed with any beers. The food is also on point. A must stop when visiting Tybee!

So very good! I ordered the caprese salad and it was amazing! If we had stayed another day, I would have went back and ordered it again. Great staff. Very friendly. Lots of gluten-free options!

We ate at this bar after our tour across the street. Great experience all around. The southwest brisket quesdilla amd the Thai chicken naan were great. The brewery is upstairs. Check it out.

The food is better than any Brewpub I have visited. The staff are super friendly and the food is so unexpected at a brewery that I can not explain. You can taste love in the food.a

King Neptunes Bar & Grill is a local favorite for seafood dishes and bar and grill options. Located in Tybee Island, it's a true hidden gem with generous portions of delicious seafood platters and a lively atmosphere enhanced by live music. The bartenders are known for their exceptional customer service, creating a friendly and welcoming environment. With spacious seating for groups, the bar offers karaoke nights and allows smoking, making it a versatile spot for visitors looking to have a blast on the island.
I love this bar, excellent staff and atmosphere, the only thing I wish they did is that after the band is done playing they’ll lower the music a little bit so people are able to talk more, other than that I love it!! I still give it a 5/5!

THE WINDOW— on the side King Neptune Absolutely delicious and friendly! The service at The Window is top notch—so friendly, quick, and personable. You can tell they genuinely care about their food and their customers. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit and WOW—it was incredible! The biscuit was buttery and soft, the bacon was perfectly cooked and crisp, and everything was melted together just right. Honestly, the picture doesn’t even do it justice—it tasted even better than it looks! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. I’ll definitely be back!

So actually I went to The Window for breakfast which is connected to King Neptunes on the side. Breakfast was great. Loved the guy at the window attitude. Go check them out if you're on Tybee Island

Seth and Liza were the most amazing bartenders! We went for a bachelorette party and the whole bar was packed. However, they were incredibly attentive, friendly, responsible (this is 2 nights, not just one).I even offered a shot to them and they declined being such amazing employees! THEY NEED A RAISE! They are AWESOME!

We stopped by for drinks after dinner one night. We saw an 'Adult Capri Sun' mixed drink advertised, and we wanted to try it. Holy smokes, it really did taste like one! I also tried the Orange Creamsicle cocktail, and I'm torn on which one I liked better. They were both delicious! The bartenders were nice, and the atmosphere was pretty chill.

We ducked in here during a storm, and it was a perfect way to spend an afternoon. Good drinks, good prices, good vibes. Connected but kinda not connected is a restaurant window (outside and around the corner on Tybrisa) that had lunch and breakfast food. I recommend the tater tots with lunch, and the biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast. Yes, we went for both lunch and breakfast. The food was great, and Ryan and Randy were super nice. I can’t remember our bartender’s name but she was great as well!

It was a Hoppin bar everything closed at 10 o’clock, except for King Neptune. You could still order food. The lady was super busy. I didn’t actually have an opportunity to buy food. It was somebody’s birthday. There was a lot of people there having a good old time it was fun.
