Pub
Fast food restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Moshi, Pub Alberto is a lively spot that transforms from a casual eatery into a bustling nightclub as night falls. Open until around 3:30 AM, it attracts both locals and tourists looking to unwind after a day of adventure. The atmosphere is electric, with pulsating music and an eclectic crowd enjoying affordable drinks and simple yet satisfying dishes.
Best Samosas in town. The only place to eat a good meal at night while at Moshi and a good place to just drink that cold beer with the locals after a good day. Wonderful night club with affordable drinks. A must visit while at Moshi.

It’s cool as a pub. As a restaurant you can get better and bigger plates for the same price. The burger was literally of a size of a coin. The plus, the served the meal with some boiled vegetables I wasn’t expecting

Restaurant
Nestled on Kilima Street near Gladys Adventure & Safaris in Moshi, Blossoms Cafe & Wine Bar exudes a cozy and inviting ambiance. Despite slightly higher prices, it is a popular choice for both locals and tourists. The cafe offers exceptionally fresh coffee without the usual bitter aftertaste. The culinary scene at Blossoms is a fusion of local and global flavors, creating an inviting dining experience.
Had such an amazing meal at blossoms cafe. After a long day looking for a place to eat dinner look no further.. this is the place for u. Had great service, the food was really good. The atmosphere was great. Place was clean. They even have a backyard out door seating area. 100% recommend!!! Enjoy!!
Halylah O — Google review
Food was quite good, the place is definitely the reason many people go, the backyard is wonderful and the food is one of the best in town. Service was really good, I had the T bone steak and was a bit disappointed with it now being grilled but cooked with seasoning, but overall it’s a great place to visit!
Gianfilippo S — Google review
Behind a rather unremarkable sign and a veranda often crowded with cars lies a decent restaurant by Moshi standards. They offer burgers, Mexican dishes, milkshakes, and more. The food is quite tasty. There's Wi-Fi, which you'll need because the kitchen's speed is a clear downside of the restaurant. Go to Blossoms only if you're not hungry right now. For groups, the wait for menus, drinks, and food will be even longer. However, this pace is typical for laid-back Moshi. In addition to a few tables on the veranda, there's a lovely dining room with an order counter and a bar. The dining area is usually stuffy, so I prefer the cozy courtyard with a canopy.
Yuriy B — Google review
This is one of my go-to places to eat whenever I’m in Moshi. The food is consistently great, and I really like their variety of drinks and main dishes. I usually order the strawberry lemonade and the chicken burger. The service has always been quick and friendly, and the food actually reminds me a lot of what you’d get back in the U.S., which is a nice surprise. Definitely looking forward to coming back again soon.

It wasn't so bad but it wasn't good as well. I am living in Tanzania now. it's very difficult to get a pizza with some green vegetable. so when I see the menu and *Margherita* with green leaves(I don't remember what it said the name). I was excited! finally I could have Margherita with leaves! But It came just with cheese and some. looks no vegetable. so I asked to a staff that it said with green but it seems no green at all. what she replied is...you can see if you eat. Okay... I started to eat...but ofc there is no leaves came. I juts felt this place is same as others. I was expected because the reviews were too good. They serve very slow maybe I wait 30min or more. The taste was good. some staff are good but some are not very friendly no hospitality. They also have some local people as well.
Tomomi S — Google review
In eight weeks time we ate here twelve times. The reason why we came back so many times is the ambiance, especially in the backyard. There is a very nice, relaxing ambiance and we enjoyed spending our time here. Regarding food: As starters, we liked the flauta's and the taco's very much. As main dishes, we liked the enchiladas, fajitas, Blossoms salad, Blossoms pizza, Chicken pizza and Beef stir fry. As desserts, we liked the smothered banana bread. But to be honest: all the food here is good. The food is more expensive compared to the streets in Tanzania, but it is less expensive compared to European restaurants.
Gert-Jan S — Google review
Had a privilege to had dinner here and it was amaizing. From the service to the food was fantastic. Looking forward to have another visit soon and i won't come alone. I will bring friends.

Restaurant
The restaurant Pamoja Bar and Cafe received positive reviews for its excellent food, specifically the Mayai dish and fruit salad. The waiters were friendly as well. However, there was a major complaint regarding other people attempting to sell tours and souvenirs within the restaurant space, which disrupted the dining experience. Despite this drawback, overall feedback about the restaurant remains positive.
We had dinner here. We had 2 samosas, one burger and one ugali with meat souce (Tanzanian typical dish) and two big local beers. Everything was really good and for cheap price (10$ in total) I recommend this place if you want to have a nice typical meal at normal price in Moshi. Better option than the touristic places!

Fantastic place with great and friendly locals! I had a great night and meet a lot of great people 😁 cheap and nice
Mats P — Google review
Food was excellent! The Mayai dish and fruit salad were my favorite. Friendly waiters also. But I have one major complaint, there are other people there trying to sell you tours and souvenirs, it’s really annoying right before a meal, the restaurant should not allow these people to do selling inside their space, it’s kind of a bummer when trying to relax and eat. But other than that this place is really good.

The staff is incredibly friendly, and they even have wheelchair accessibility and super clean washrooms! Plus, there’s a slice or store onsite. We had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes to be served. Food normal!! Service very very slow! And the most important there was barely light so we had to use our phones!!! It so bad that african bussiness like this remain african, but in the prices are very European!! Two main dishes with chicken and two beers 51000 schilling!!!
Kaloussa N — Google review
The atmosphere was favorable. Chips and fried chicken was what I ordered. The chips tasted good, but chicken was a little too dry. The service was okay. The music was not ao good and the vibe was weak even for a friday night.

Food was nice but most starters didn't come with sides, you have to order sides e.g salad, coleslaw etc. the atmosphere is good where kids can have fun on the trampoline. Parking is available inside the premises

10/10 recommend, the environment was so private and relaxing, the waitress was very friendly she even suggested to us how our food should be prepared and it turned out to be very delicious the traffic light mock-tail was okay too .. I loved being here Ps was here for dinner
Miss A — Google review
Delicious food and good atmosphere. Drinks were delicious.
Gina G — Google review
We visited for dinner at night. Very nice ambience that's also quiet. I bet it's prettier during the day than at night to see the garden and the trees. Surprisingly, there were no mosquitoes. Perhaps because of the cold weather (we visited mid August). The service was excellent, but a bit slow. They have a good variety of local and international dishes. We ordered grilled chicken on skewers (delicious), beef skewers (some parts were soft, others were a bit chewy), kuku mikange (this is a Tanzanian dish that's 1/4 marinated chicken with stir fried vegetables), mbuzi (goat meat. It was chewy), Greek salad (good), and Caesar salad. The Caesar salad wasn't like the Caesar salad that's commonly known, which is lettuce, romano cheese, chicken and croutons. While it came with these ingredients, it also came with diced tomatoes and diced boiled eggs. Not to mention that the dressing that came with it wasn't a Caesar salad dressing. It was like a light mustard or honey mustard. It was the same dressing that came with the Greek salad. Prices are reasonable. But interestingly, they charge you for take away boxes (2000 TSH per box). Apple pay doesn't work here. So, you better have your physical card with you or pay with cash.

Bar & grill
Kaka's Bar and Grill is a hidden gem in Moshi, Tanzania, perfect for those seeking delicious Indian cuisine. This charming spot offers an extensive menu featuring mouthwatering dishes like Tandoori chicken and flavorful kebobs, making it a favorite among locals and travelers alike. Despite its unassuming entrance, the vibrant atmosphere enhances your dining experience. While the service can be slow at times—especially during busy hours—the friendly staff are dedicated to ensuring you enjoy your meal.
First night in Moshi Tanzania and we had awesome Tandoori chicken. I was suggested this place by the owner, purely coincidentally at a community event without knowing he owned Kaka’s place. He didn’t say much when I asked for somewhere to eat MISHKAKI or kebobs as others call it. Earlier we went to Reds, took take a way, the meat was so tough, I wasn’t happy. Don’t get fooled by Kaka’s entrance area; the food WAS AWSOME and the Vibe just perfect. The tandoori chicken was Tasty with a crispy outside and tender juicy inside. And the marinade was likely done long ago for it to steep in so well. There were several foreigners, mostly young adults who came and went and who also went to the CLUB he has upstairs. For me being back after almost 50 years. Man I loved the Tandoori chicken with fresh cut fries, their home made chilli sauce and tomato sauce. I LOVED IT, My son loved it and our tour guide loved it. Going back for lunch before driving away to Arusha tomorrow afternoon.

Franki L — Google review
This is an Indian restaurant with absolutely amazing food. The best Indian I've had in Moshi, also cheap at the same time. It was so good that over the month and a half I had left in Tanzania since I discovered this restaurant, I went 7 times with my friends. The staff are friendly but like a lot of restaurants in Moshi, very slow. Once, a group of 8 of us waited for 2 hours. I would call up to pre-order for a specific time. The atmosphere is not the best though, also no decorations, basically a room with walls. The outdoors section is typical BBQ vibes but got very smokey.

Bar
Amuzz Bar and Grill is a popular spot near KCMC with active security, making it a safe choice for many visitors. The bar can get quite crowded, so it's advisable to keep track of your orders to avoid overpaying. It offers good vibes and dancing, with multiple sections and quick, friendly service.
I believe this like one of these best clubs in Moshi , has a nice vibe and the DJ was diverse with songs which was good
Sheryl M — Google review
As a tourist this club was ok.. the locals seemed to love the music and vibes. My friends and I ordered hookah (shisha) a bottle of wine and 2 large bottles of water. It’s very cheap here. However you have to watch your things because I stepped away from our section and one of the bottles of water was stolen. The rest of the night I clutched my purse real tight! They did play a few Caribbean and American hits, but mostly Afro genre music. If you do come here just be aware of your surroundings.

DONT GO IN THIS CLUB There is high rude security and the name of the one of the security name is madevu he ask as to buy five beer no matter you drink or no. No good. Securty in side i advice people from to escape to visite amuz even inside i lost my phone. The place is not safe. Please i advice you guys to escape the club
Dickson S — Google review
Nice typical club good music and kindly people but be careful the waiters always try to charge you more than the real bills so ask for the bill on paper Every time we compare the price they say and the real bills ,there is a big difference
QG Q — Google review
This is a large, well laid out bar with several sections. They also serve sever" types of chicken with chips, plantain Service is quick and friendly. Only drawback is the very loud music that is pumped in to every spot in the bar; if you're looking for a relaxing, laid back place, this may disappoint.
Scott R — Google review
Amazing place and good music for partying.
Arthur L — Google review
Most ppl will go here as it's close to KCMC and there's active security which is great-Sometimes it can get pretty packed and you have to keep an eye on what your paying for. I reccomend doing as the locals and don't buy single shots, buy a bottle and make ur own shots as well as keep track of how many beers your drinking for your bill - even though many foreigners go here it's not uncommon to be overcharged. It's good vibes though and dancing 😊
Jennifer — Google review
The only problem i see here is the security to which sometimes they act to hash to some customers , but standing to their point of view i think they do this to prevent unwanted behaviors , but it is gud place to have vibes , gud music and also one of the top clubs in moshi

The food was okay. The Mtura portion is very small, we ordered four for two people and we had to request another portion of mbuzi choma. I loved the mbuzi choma better. Nestled atop the Kilimanjaro Wonders Hotel in Moshi, Tanzania, The Summit offers a delightful dining and bar experience that combines local flavors with breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. This modern eatery is perfect for enjoying a meal or drinks while soaking in the stunning scenery. Although some dishes may not be cooked to perfection and service can be leisurely—typical of the region—the friendly staff ensures a welcoming atmosphere.
Good food. Friendly staff. Nice view and great place for a meal. Good vegetarian options.

The summit restaurant is a wonderful place to have a meal, drinks, and even quick discussion with someone else. You will enjoy the best view of Kilimanjaro Mountain.
Augustino K — Google review
Design modern, food good, but medium steak was not medium. Anyway tasty. Service very slow, which is normal here. Wine too warm. Location perfect, rooftop with view of Kilimanjaro!
Bojan B — Google review
I had a very disappointing stay at Summit Lounge — the room was not properly cleaned, basic amenities like [towels, hot water, Wi-Fi] were not working, and the staff were unhelpful and unresponsive. For the price, I expected much better. Never again
Kendi P — Google review
TLDR: The view of The Summit is ‘right on the nose’. The service, however, is somewhere near the tail. The food somewhere in between. Looking for a great view and environment ? This is the spot. In fact, a wedding photographer was shooting photos at sunset as we had drinks. The food was quite good but you had to wait for it. With a group, this was awkward. While most got their food within 5 minutes, another didn’t get her ~ pasta ~ for 45 minutes. For out of box noodles this was a mystery that could only be caused by kitchen incompetence. Running a kitchen is hard - I know this well. With a venue this nice poor management feels like an injustice not just to the customers but to the hotel itself. Perhaps someday management will catch up.
Drew E — Google review
I wouldn't recommend this place. We celebrated our Kilimanjaro climb and ordered their most expensive drink (25,000 Tanzanian shillings), but it had no gin. After we mentioned it, the waiter brought a new gin bottle from another restaurant downstairs. So, better stay with drinking beer.
Evie W — Google review
Great views from Kilimanjaro. Good service and happy hour from 5pm-7pm spot on for sunset times.
Carla B — Google review
Very slow service. We first needed to order our drinks and wait for them to arrive before we could order our food. Then needed to wait almost an hour for the food was ready. We got the starter and the mean at the same time and both were not very warm. We asked for maintenance and ketshup and they never arrived. So although the view was nice I would pick an other place to have a drink of dinner if I were you

I recently visited Rau Pub, and I must say it left a lasting impression. The atmosphere was cool and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience, which added to the overall charm of the place. What stood out the most was Rau Pub's commitment to an eco-friendly environment. Their sustainable practices were evident, and it's reassuring to see a business taking steps to reduce its ecological footprint. I'll definitely be returning to Rau Pub for both its welcoming vibe and its dedication to sustainability.

The food was reasonable, but if i could rate the service and atmosphere a zero, i would. The toilets are so dirty, and you wash your hands on a sink where water will drip to your feet. Quality has gone downhill from where it used to be.

Restaurant
Nestled just a short drive from the heart of Moshi, La Fuente Garden Mexican Restaurant is a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This charming eatery offers a delightful array of classic Mexican dishes, making it one of the best spots in town for food lovers. The ambiance is serene and inviting, surrounded by lush tropical trees and open skies, creating a unique atmosphere perfect for any meal—be it breakfast or dinner.
Amazing Mexican food in Shanty Town! Now I REALLY didn't expect this here. International food is honestly pretty great in Moshi. I had tortilla soup and cheese quesadilla. The tortilla soup had cilantro, tomato, avocado, shredded chicken, cream, and tortilla strips. The cheese quesadilla came with Spanish rice, black beans, guac, salsa, and cream. Portions were HUMONGOUS - the quesadilla was made with 2 huge fried tortillas so it was bigger than the plate. It tasted great (though a bit greasy) but I was so full I had to leave out 1/4 of the quesadilla and half the beans; I usually never leave food on my plate. I shared the soup with my dad - pictured here is the half portion. It came to 40,500 shillings (17.61 USD) for 2 mains, one soup, and water, but the price is more than acceptable for the quality and quantity of the food you get. The environment is very family-friendly. There's an outdoor playground for kids, a fountain, and plenty of outdoor seating. Many expats (we saw British and Indians) came here with their kids. Service is friendly, though a little slow. The menu is extensive and you can find many Mexican specialties, breakfast options, and desserts. Overall I'm happy with my experience and would definitely like to come back.
Xena W — Google review
Peaceful place with nice facilities and good service. The food was pretty good. The salsa is great. The fajita meat is a bit tough but fine.

Its such a cozy place but the cake orders are ways messed up they end up doing exactly opposite which might affect a person with allergies i ordered whole chocolates cake black forest and i get with white frosting which cause me harmed as it was whipped cream instead of fully chocolate on right
Mariam N — Google review
What a wonderful place to find in Tanzania! Amazing Mexican food so far from Mexico! Peter and Mary are amazing hosts, and their staff were very attentive. The grounds are beautiful and the design feels just like a Mexican restaurant in the US Southwest. Love it and can't wait to come back next time I'm in Tanzania! I was there near the end of October 2018 on this visit.
Christopher B — Google review
Just little bit of town, 10 minutes drive from Moshi town. As you approach the restaurant down an unmade road in a rather poor area,i wonder if i lost trying to find this highly rated restaurant. When you finally reach the place it still looks doubtful that a top restaurant could be here. You enter to a cosy looking place and greeted warmly by Nancy. its Very unique (and fantastic) environment under tropical lush trees and the open sky and then comes the good part. A nice table outside in the shade is about as tranquil as it gets. There is a nice playground for the kids to play in, so it is very family friendly. What greets you then is some of the best food I have eaten on any continent.I stated with juice. I thought I was taking a risk by ordering Fajitas,as i really love this dish.It was truly wonderful. meat is so tender and tasty, served with soft flour tortillas,a side is Spanish rice, re-fried beans,Guacamole, sour Cream and salsa. It was so testy.I received my food much quicker than i have in most restaurants in Moshi so that also is a terrific plus The staff are courteous and endeavor to provide service quickly and efficiently, the owner cares Great place to go, i would advice anyone wanting a relaxing place with the right atmosphere for reading, going online with no worry of people bumping your head trying to pass behind you....or just in need of a good cup of coffee and a newspaper...or a good book!! This is the place for you.

Had dinner today with my 2 daughters and their friend. Waiters polite and friendly. Getting food took long. I loved desert and not my fajitas! The beef was hard and too salty.. Ambiance good.

Feels (and looks) like a home! It’s a beautiful restaurant with a play area for kids. The staff and owner are all friendly. Food is delicious, big portions and presented well. You have to try the raspberry juice and pineapple/mint juice. All the cakes are in big portions too! Reasonable priced.
Kim M — Google review
One of the nicest most peaceful spots to eat in Moshi. Breakfast or dinner, both are excellent. I highly recommend the enchiladas. Faster than many other restaurants in the area. Lovely grounds and playground for the kids. you can also get fresh raspberries, feta cheese, baked goods and other stuff to take home too. Price is reasonable, staff and owners are all very nice. Note about the cold coffees, if you're ordering the frappes and iced coffee, they are made with instant coffee.

If you are a mazungu, beware!! The local food is great, but they tried to charge us 4x the local price. After several negotiations, we got the price for 6 people down from 200,000 to 41,000. Would not recommend for anyone who isn’t a local

An average pub with cheaper drinks and quality cheap foods. Staff are fairly fast and professional. Met other locals watching soccer. I sat upstairs near the washroom where to my disappointment we had lots of flies which disturbed my peace and comfort hence my low rating. Otherwise this is a great joint.

In August, 2022 we have been in One Bike Pitstop with a group of about 30 uruguayan people. It was an amazing experience! Solene, Hilary and the rest of One Bike team, have prepared all for us. We share a delicious typical buffet for lunch, cooked for a cheff. The food was very good, also tasty, and the most important (well spicy, not strongly spicy as the Tanzania's food, that if u are a foreigner, sometimes you are not used to it). The bar has really good vibes, the place is comfortable, clean, with good music, and algo fresh drinks! All the staff is there if you need something, and they are very sweet and kind people! We strongly recomend you to visit the Bar. Also, if you have time, go with them on a Bike trail, they have very interesting ones, and everything well organized!

We booked a bicycle tour for our family of four with One bike pitstop. Good luck took care that bikes and a guide were ready for us early in the morning. Our guide Dennis was already checking all tyres and each bike when we arrived. There was some stuff that needed attention so he fixed it. Then he took us on a wonderful bike ride out of town through the various villages all part of the Chagga region. We rode along lush green banana and coffee farms, passed villages, people, rivers and amazing views. Dennis took good care of all of us. Always checking if every one was keeping up, making sure we were safe in traffic. With every change of road or traffic he took the time to shortly brief us in a clear manner so that our two teenage kids and us parents were well prepared for the next episode. Along the way Dennis told a lot about the surroundings, the flora and fauna, the people, history and customs, he himself was born in Chagga region so he has many things to share. It was an intens and amazing day. We highly recommend letting Dennis take you on a bike tour around Moshi!

I ate at this local restaurant twice. The food was delicious, and while the atmosphere was quite on my first night there, being a Tuesday, I returned on the Thursday night, and the atmosphere was pumping. The restaurant is clean, and you can watch all your food being prepared. Having the meat cooked over the flames makes it super tasty.
