I recently visited this restaurant that, unfortunately, did not meet my expectations in terms of the food quality and overall experience. However, I do want to acknowledge the friendly waitresses who did their best to make our visit enjoyable. While the atmosphere of the restaurant was decent, the food left a lot to be desired. The dishes lacked flavor and were not prepared to the standard I was expecting.
We came back to a newly opened citrus. It looks really amazing and the eating experience was again very nice! The smoothies were fresh and full of flavor. The “boring burger” was juicy and the tropical yoghurt tasty. Till next time!
Really good food and huge portions for a small price. My favorite was bbq ribs for a big hungry :) nice atmosphere. Breakfast option for 5 euros including juice and coffee it’s a good deal.
The restaurant has a central location and the food is good. Furthermore, the prices are really fair and the waiters are nice. The internet is also good and ideal for working online. Definitely recommendable.
The recent refurbishment is wonder, lovely garden area and very chilled out vibes.
We had 2 pizzas, a burger and a salad, all very fresh and tasty, the salad was amazing, the staff are lovely and service very good, we really enjoyed our evening meal here, we will definitely be back again to sample more from the menu.

Worst cheesecake ever tried for long time. Reminds me of a low level all inclusive hotel buffet cake. Cortado alright. “Cappuccino” is like coffee with milk and a dash of cacao. Tourist trap.

The ice cream is fine, but the Italian lady serving (assume is the owner) is so unnecessarily rude, so much so that it's like her awful energy is served up with the ice cream. It is the 3rd time I went there over the space of a couple of years (mainly as someone else has wanted to try it - and also regretted it), but each time I leave, I remember why I never wanted to go back! She is consistently rude and extremely unpleasant. There are so many other great ice cream places in Corralejo where you won't get barked at, it's just not worth coming here.

The little hidden ice cream shop is best! It is fresh, creamy, not full of oxygen and the owner is so sweet. She's from Sicily and explaining where the ingredients come from and how they produce the ice cream. The different ice creams are also nicely decorated.

New Bakery Café is a well-established multistore bakery with three locations in Italy and its own pastry production facility. With 60 years of experience, they specialize in artisanal high-quality Italian pastries, desserts, cream puffs, cakes, mousses, biscuits, coffee and tea. The café offers a variety of breakfast options including sweet or savory choices such as full English breakfast, croissants, American pancakes or cakes and pastries.
Have been here twice staff is friendly and food is good. Had carrot cake and chocolate cake both were delicious.

Was a nice experience, breskfast for 2 . Had full English which was okay. A croissant. 2 coffees and 2 slices of cake. 32€. Not too bad, bit expensive but we did have the cake. The croissant was very nice and the cakes were also fresh and tasty.
I was disappointed with a few things about the "New Bakery", unfortunately.
I popped in for some lunch around 2 or 3pm, there were only a couple of other tables occupied.
My food took quite a time to come, and when it did the order was wrong.
It was replaced without much of an apology but the fries were getting cold by then.
The cappuccino was nice. Not very much chicken in the baguette, I suspect they had cooked enough for the toastie they brought me by mistake. Fourteen euros 3a chicken baguette, fries and a cappuccino ( no biscuit) No salt, sauces offered or brought to the table either.
The loos are down a dark staircase and had a filled to the brim loo roll bucket and no seat on the ladies toilet, a big lump of peed on toilet paper in front of the loo.
There was hand soap though, so that was a plus.
We ate breakfast here for my mothers birthday, i cant believe how rude the man was, we asked for two marmalades and he acted like we were asking for gold bars, even a spoiled kid would have been nicer to us, the woman treated us okay-ish, the food wasnt equally good for its price, It was more or less thought, the omellete was plain and didnt had any flavor, the beans were cold, the bread was barely toasted, the coffee was cold and the atmosphere was very charged with negativity.
Food was okay, waited ages to pay as the server had wandered off chatting to someone outside for 10 minutes. Sure its a one off but didnt give great impressions for the service
This place was absolutely awesome in fact it was so good we went back twice. They have an excellent selection of many different coffees all priced very reasonably. They also have an excellent selection of wraps and sandwiches and other types of breakfast and lunch foods. Highly recommended, two thumbs up!
Unfortunately, not more than 3 stars - service was quite stressed, we waited approx. 10 minutes till we could order, could have been friendlier. We waited almost 30 minutes for a burger and Crêpe (I mentioned while ordering that we have to leave in 30 minutes, so we could go somewhere else if it is a problem to get the food fast enough). In the end, we had to cancel one of our dishes, that was doable without any problems and we got a cookie as goodie. Food was fine but quite more expensive than other restaurants on the mainstreet.
Nice place for breakfast, having some delicious crepes or just for a coffee break. The breakfast options (english, french, fitness etc.) are good, so you don't have to order everything separately. Food and coffee are tasteful and crepes are yummy. There are quite a lot of options for crepes, sweet and savory. Music was quite loud (compared to other cafe near there). I recommend this place!

September 2024: Wow, what a great ice cream parlour. We went here multiple times whilst visiting Corralejo. Great selection of flavours (and they actually taste unbelievable too) and generous portions for the price. There are a few seats available to sit in, or takeaway is also an option. We tried the nutella pancake one night - highly recommend. Staff friendly and welcoming. Reasonably priced products given the location. Only downside is there are very little drink options unless you want water. Other than that, I would, without a doubt, recommend this place to anyone in the area. Definitely one of the best ice cream parlours around.

The ice cream is smooth, silky and extremely flavourful. It was rich and there were a wide variety of choice - each individually of the highest quality of their flavour. The cornet was crunchy and fresh. There was a fairly large queue, and so there should be. This ice cream parlour is amazing... not only this, but they do waffles, ice cream sundaes and crêpes too! I tried one of the waffles and you can see them making it. Reasonable value for money and it was delicious. You can add many toppings such as Nutella and any ice cream flavour.
After spending 2 weeks in boiling Corralejo, we had visited coco banana 4 times, every time my husband chose banana toffee ice cream in a tub , which was lovely and tasty, however on the final visit he was given a tub with ice cream that had chocolate in it, we knew this wasn’t the same as before as he’s allergic to chocolate so would never have chose it. But woman behind counter was very rude saying it had chocolate in always and wouldn’t replace it, so I swapped him with mine, but could tell straight away this wasn’t not the same ice cream as it tasted awful and chocolate was vile, so he ended up getting another tub for him without chocolate in it.

First time at Coco Banana . The ice creams were absolutely delicious, so many to choose from. I’m also Gluten free and there were lots to choose. I have a sundae with 3 different gf flavours all amazing. The price was also very reasonable. We will definitely be visiting again on our holiday.

Lots of gelato to choose from.
The man serving was very pleasant and was happy for me to try multiple flavours.
I had a small scoop of coffee gelato (only €2.50 but he managed to pack a lot into the small cup!)
Lovely texture gelato and nice coffee flavour. Could have been stronger but was still nice to sit outside on one of their tables in the sun to enjoy it.

I really like this heladeria on the main drag of Corralejo for its excellent position for people watching and really good quality ice cream. It's a lovely spot to sit and watch people walking by and in spite of being the cheapest ice cream parlour around there is always space to sit. It loses half a star for only having one table with shade which means if you sit anywhere but there you'll have to get licking very quickly before your ice cream rapidly turns into a gelato waterfall cascading sticky goo all over your trousers in the full blast of the midday sun.

My kids love this place. The crepes, waffles, milkshakes and ice cream are stupendously good. Great coffee too! The staff are very friendly. We come nearly every night while staying in Fuerteventura. Highly recommended!
We went here 3 times over our holiday as one of my children liked a particular flavour of ice cream on all occasions we bought several ice creams but the service was always questionable- they didn’t like the fact we wanted tasters - on our 3rd visit my wife was only allowed 1 taster and unfortunately for them that meant no further order than what one of my children wanted. On each previous occasion we ordered at least 5 ice creams, their loss for poor service

Secreto Energy is a great place to get breakfast and lunch. The coffee is delicious, the sandwiches are filling and the smoothie bowls are perfect for energizing you for your day ahead. The staff are cheerful and low prices make it an affordable choice.
Fantastic coffee shop, smoothie bar, ice cream parlour, sandwich & salad bar, with lots of options, both sweet and savoury. Plenty of healthy alternatives, all very tasty: gluten-free, vegan, chia bowls, quinoa, etc. Great vibe in their front patio, with plenty of locals, expats & tourists alike. Warm service also. A place not to be missed!

Lovely Staff and a Pleasant Surprise
A nice little find overall, and what really stood out was the lovely staff. Despite my extremely broken Spanish, they were incredibly patient and supportive, helping me out even though they were clearly busy. It made a big difference and definitely added to the warmth of the experience.
It's a good place with many good foods, including breakfast and lunch. I like their chia seeds and their foccacia sandwiches especially.
An issue with atmosphere, there's a sign that says no pets (inside?), but unfortunately, every morning, this middle aged man brings his two filthy dogs with no leash. The dogs walk around eating scraps and barking at tables that don't feed them. The man does not watch his pets. The restaurant doesn't do anything about it. Unfortunately, this is a frequent annoyance, as every tables tells the dogs to go away, but they bark more instead. I saw this happen every morning for 4 days. If the restaurant would enforce this rule or monitor the tables, it would improve the atmosphere. As long this happens, I think people will not enjoy this place as much.
Only went for coffee this time and got the Moka. Unfortunately that was quite disappointing. It comes in a huge cup that just tastes like a bucket of milk with two drops of coffee…
Definitely will go back to try some of the ice cream and bowls as they looked good. I knew the ice cream and shakes there many years ago was super good so I hope it’s still the same!

It was like a cross between an iced coffee and a frappucino. Lovely taste of cold coffee but slightly thicker texture. Very refreshing and great for a long walk as it stayed cold for a very long time.
Their coffee gelato is also really good. Amazingly creamy and a strong coffee flavour.
They also have lots of really nice looking sandwiches, cakes and ice cream.
Highly recommend this place.

I got raspberry flavour and passion fruit, hazelnut, i SWEAR they taste amazing!! They melt quickly, but it's not full of sugar, They're delicious, i want to come again and try the rest.
Really nice gelato: soft, silky and very flavourful. The passion fruit flavour was very nice tasting although the only thing was the passion fruit seeds left in it - they were a bit crunchy and odd tasting. However, I believe that was the wrong choice of mine. Despite the texture of the seeds, it does show that all their ice cream flavours are fresh and that they do use real fruit to make the gelato. Went back here since to try different flavours and they were outstanding!

I came here really excited to try a bubble waffle, but apparently they can’t make one because there are “too many people.” Seriously? That’s like going to the supermarket and being told you can’t check out because there are too many customers. What kind of logic is that? If you offer something on your menu, you should be prepared to serve it, even when it’s busy. Super disappointing.
Really tasty ice creams with lots of different ingredients.. Especially ones without milk in case you or your infant has dairy allergies! The only thing doesn’t fit to the concept is the music played in the place. We’ve been there four times during our stay in FV and terrible rap music in strange language played each time, instead a nice Italian or Spanish songs I would expect. As there are tables outside of the place so you can sit and enjoy your ice cream or whatever you ordered while watching the central street, it would be nice to listen to some great music..
Visited twice during our holiday and If we’d been here longer I would have been back. Best ice-cream we tasted on the island during our travels. No artificial flavours and not overly sweet. I sampled the dark chocolate, milk chocolate and yogurt - all were brilliant. My husband loved the vanilla too. Friendly staff and overall deserves its top rating

we stumbled upon this place tucked down a side street and we are glad we did! pure italian homemade ice cream! the man serving us was super helpful in explaining the ingredients and they had 4 vegan options; strawberry, coconut, lemon & mango with the option of dark chocolate drizzle. i had a scoop of vegan strawberry and my word was it delicious! my family had a scoop of ferraro rocher, a scoop of coconut & dulce de leche. he also sold homemade taralli which we snatched a bag of! highly recommend this place 🫶🏻

We've been here every night of our week long stay in Corralejo. All the ice-cream is homemade and the flavours are outstanding! Every flavour we tried was spot on and exactly what you'd expect. The wonderful family who own the place (and seem to never have time off!) and make the amazing ice-cream are just awesome.
