Tapas restaurant
Spanish restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant Yumbo Centrum, Wapa Tapa is a delightful culinary gem that brings together the best of traditional Spanish and modern international tapas. This cozy eatery offers an array of fresh and exciting dishes, including delectable Spanish cheeses, Canarian wrinkled potatoes, and Galician-style octopus. Guests can unwind with a glass of sangria or choose from an impressive selection of reasonably priced Spanish wines.
We’ve been coming here for years, the food has always been amazing and consistent hosting from Carlos and Adrian. And now since Michael and his partner have taken over the food is as ever as good and an amazing atmosphere. We will always return! Great hosting from the new owners and we think they will continue the legacy for many years to come Liam & Amy, UK

Very bland, tasteless food which was a shame since the menu looked good. Everything we had lacked seasoning which made us very sad. This was not a cheap meal but it tasted cheap. They apparently had specials but our waiter didn’t let us know about them, we learned about them when another waiter waited on the table next to us. Don’t believe the hype, if this place was good once, it isn’t nearly as good now. Skip this restaurant and try another, better option for tapas in Maspalomas.
Nathan T — Google review
I've always struggled with the value of tapas. That said I also like the variety of trying different dishes and when they are cooked with good quality ingredients like the dishes here are, they are worth it. Flavours were amazing.. very tasty dishes. Sangria was very good and presentation festive. Service was quick and efficient. We really enjoyed our experience here which is impressive since it was quite busy. Side note to the restaurant, when I searched Google Maps for Tapas restaurants in the area for some reason you don't appear?! Thought I'd share that as you might want to look into that.

Wapa Tapa offers ‘al fresco’ dining off a menu created by chef Adrian Leared. Formerly ran by Adrian and Carlos, it has this year been handed over to the Michaels. For the record, 2025 is our 11th year eating at this (still) fantastic tapas house - you are right to think we know this place well. Let’s start by welcoming the Michaels and Louisa to the team, as always everyone made us feel extremely welcome. Inevitably, when new management takes over, there will be changes. Suffice to say that we would not hesitate to recommend Wapa Tapa to any discerning gourmet visiting Yumbo (reservation is strongly advised), the food remains fantastic, the prices are within the range we have come to expect, so what’s not to like? Well, here’s what we did not like: 1) wet wipes - this is big no no for us, we enjoy our finger licking, but please it reminded us of KFC - do consider returning back to the old environment friendly hot water bowl 2) presentation used to be a little better, for example, the beef medallion was served with a grilled cherry tomato on top of a wooden board, now we get it on a pretty regular clay dish (pictured) 3) the Portuguese style cod croquetes were served very oily on two separate occasions - they are not being sufficiently drained, and in our opinion they could use a wedge of lemon And here is why we still think this is the best eatery (2025) in Yumbo: 1) while we do miss Carlos’ flare and flair (who wouldn’t!) the Michaels were outstanding hosts, leaving no stone unturned to accommodate our every request (I like my king prawns with more rock salt, no problem!) 2) Osni’s talent as a barista continues to grow and please us every year - this is where you want to go for a nice cocktail after a meal, fabulous sangria too 3) the place is bigger yet again - we enjoyed a wider selection of sitting places and the end of indoors dining - well done team, great work with the renovations 4) but of course, we come here first and foremost for the food. There have been minor changes to the menu (we do miss the cheese board trio selection in the cold tapas), but most changes are very welcome, particularly the original Italian ice cream trio as a dessert (yum) If you’re still reading this, here are our top 3 tapas in 2025 from Wapa Taoa: GOLD MEDAL: The Hake Fillet, remarkably well cooked (on at least 3 occasions) with a crispy skin, served with a simply divine smoky sauce (pictured). SILVER MEDAL: Grilled Acorn-fed Iberian Pork Presa, a very close contender for the first place, it is likely Adrian’s best creation, and deserves its place as the second best tapa (pictured) BRONZE MEDAL: Uruguayan Prime Beef Medallion, if you’re a meat lover this is gustative delight, tenderness heaven, served with mash and caramelised onions (pictured) HONOURABLE MENTION: King Prawns, for the more savvy Gran Canaria tourist, this is where culinary dark arts present you with the best prawn tapa in Gran Canaria (pictured) - we do want more rock salt on it though. Book, visit, enjoy - your taste buds will thank you.

Second visit during our holiday: two very memorable experiences! Fantastic food (!!!) and excellent service and staff! It was very apparent to us that these people put their heart and soul into the food and the overall experience. A bright jewel in the concrete crown that is Yumbo!

Best tapas restaurant we have been. Food, service, everything was perfect. The price was good for the quality and portion we got. Our waiter was very friendly and lovely. One of the best evening we have spent in a restaurant like this! Great job! 😇

Calma Chicha Restaurant is a rustic-chic dining venue offering creative tasting menus, fine Spanish cuisine, and wine pairings. Located just a short walk from the town center, it boasts an elegant and quiet atmosphere. The upstairs terrace provides a beautiful candlelit setting at night. The menu features traditional dishes with influences from Asian, Arabic, and South American cuisines.
Surely, there are people who will not agree with me, but in my opinion, it is quite difficult to find a restaurant in Maspalomas that is not overly touristy or pub-like, yet offers high-quality food and excellent service in a pleasant, modern atmosphere. Thanks to good reviews and a high rating, I found Calma Chicha and booked a dinner there for our travel group on the last evening of our trip. Having been disappointed by several places earlier during our journey, I was a bit hesitant. However, we were not disappointed. A fantastic dining experience and professional service. The place itself is very cozy and inviting inside. We tried all three courses with different dishes, and our entire group was very satisfied. I highly recommend this place to anyone who values quality food that looks beautiful and tastes great. A heads-up—you definitely need to make a reservation, as it is a small place and fully booked every evening. Lastly, I should mention that they also have a separate vermouth menu, which adds uniqueness to this place.

Is this restaurant is absolutely great value. It is very high standard of food really fun and playful flavours. And great value. The lemon tart desert was the best meal I’ve ever had in my whole life. Totally recommend this place.

Wow! That was the common expression as we tried a variety of starters, mains and deserts. Had it not been for recommendation by my son, we probably would have never noticed this fabulous place. Worthy of a Michelin Star 🌟. Excellent service by the staff from start to finish. Very cozy terrace sitting. Delicious food, full of a combination of flavours tantalising your tongue. Highly recommend a visit. Dog friendly.

Fortunately we booked as I'd recommend you do so as it gets busy and not a huge amount of tables. The place is comfortable and well decorated, but no cooling which could be a problem on warmer nights. Food was fancy fine dining style which we were looking forward to as we were celebrating a special occassion. I'm glad we did the tasting menu since the food was amazing. Special mention for the desserts that were the hlighlight with amazing complimenting flavours. My favourite main dish was the beef rib as the meat was very tender. Staff were attentive and we were never left wanting. Food was served in good order/timing. One small improvement could be to mention what the food is when serving it just so you know. Overall a very good experience and we would love to return.

Really delicious truffle steak. It’s very well cooked and seasoned. The truffle potatoes are lovely. The staff are very friendly. Also have free aperitif in the beginning and free honey and rum shots in the end. Will definitely come back. Strongly recommend!
Yongpian C — Google review
The food was excellent and each plate was beautifully presented. We choose the degustation menu and we were a bit surprised that both of us had to adjust to the dish they offered instead of the one which would have caused an allergy to only one of us. Also, as we took the wine package, a few more words about each wine and why it was selected for the respective dish would have been appreciated. All waiters should know how to pure wine professionally. Lastly, the two desert courses were served quite rushed and the bill came automatically at around 22h30 even though the closing time is 23h00.
Adi S — Google review
The food was delicious, and the presentation was perfect in itself. The waiters were kind, patient, and polite. A must if you visit the island!

A truly amazing experience here. The food was exceptional. I've not had such fantastic food for a very long time. The price, bearing in mind the high quality for and service was incredible reasonable. I can't recommend Calma Chicha more highly.

El Churrasco is a renowned restaurant with three locations in Meloneras Boulevard El Faro, Las Palmas, and Tenerife. It's a paradise for meat enthusiasts, offering an array of grilled Argentinean-style cuts in an elegant yet inviting setting. With nearly 20 years of history, this establishment is dedicated to serving top-quality meats prepared to perfection.
We were really excited to eat here. I had read the reviews which were mixed but our experience was just lovely. Drinks order was taken quickly, some nice chat from the busy waiters and the wine was delicious. The prawns were so fresh and tasty but the star was the beef, I had the rib-eye and my wife and sis in law both had the Argentine steer fillet. Absolutely delicious in every way. The sunset just topped our experience as the awning and blinds were raised just for the sunset viewed through the panoramic windows. Fantastic!

When you first get there they bring over a slice of bread each with butter. This comes at a cost of €2 per person. We just asked for it to be taken away as we did not ask for it and they don’t tell you it has a charge! When we got the bill it was still on there, i just asked for it to be taken off and they did it straight away. It is a bit cheeky that they just give it to you as if it’s complimentary! Cocktails (margarita & mojito) and food were lush! We had the sharing sirloin, french fries and ‘roast potatoes’. The roast potatoes were not like classic British ones but this was expected. Many reviews have complained about the servers not being polite but we did not feel this way. They were polite and attentive.

The service is amazing, very effective and kind. The meat is very tasty and well coockef, spécial mention for the barbecue ribs, thé best i ever eat. And the desert are very good too 😁 congrats from France

The staff was not friendly at all. We felt really like a number. This restaurant has everything to be a premium restaurant (especially with these prices). But laks the service & welcoming atmosphère. The food is of good quality, also fresh fries! But also there the human impact needs to be looked after. You can not serve all the small bits with black spots on a plate… The restaurant is premium, but needs a better management to get back to the level it has always been (we came here already for 5 years)
Anth P — Google review
El Churrasco was absolutely outstanding! The service was top-notch – super friendly, professional, and attentive from start to finish. We were welcomed with complimentary bread at the table, which was a lovely touch. The restaurant is clearly LGBTQIA-friendly, and we felt completely comfortable and appreciated. The food was perfect – both in quality and portion size. I had the rump steak, and it was honestly the best steak I’ve ever had. My partner had the Angus burger, and it was equally amazing. Even the fries were delicious and absolutely worth mentioning! Every cent spent here was worth it – we left incredibly satisfied and will definitely return.

This place is an amazing grill restaurant with top-quality food and friendly service. I had the Grilled Iberian pork and Jamon Iberico, and both were absolutely delicious. The pork was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, and the Jamon was rich, perfectly sliced, and melted in the mouth. The grill flavor really comes through, and everything is cooked just right. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are professional and helpful. Highly recommended!
Ramona C — Google review
Not worth the money! We have reserved a table at the window in advance, indicating we are are guests of Lopesan. OK table in the middle of the room instead. Service was slow and tedious. The real downer was the Angus burger. No tomato, sauce, or pickled cucumbers. Just a raw slice of bacon and ketchup drive-in style :-( No reason to return!
Sabrina H — Google review
The host should resign or her supervisor seriously review her performance. I booked a table for my birthday and was extremely disappointed when seated in a shared table with another couple. Especially when I requested a window seat was told none were available, but a couple behind us in the queue said they hadn’t booked and then got seated at the window. Not the service I expected. The food was good, the steak was very nicely cooked as is mostly the case with this chain but very much would discourage anyone wishing to celebrate a special occasion here.

Restaurant
Restaurante LoLa is a relaxed yet sophisticated dining spot located in southern Maspalomas, amidst the desert-like dunes and upscale hotels. The restaurant draws inspiration from various cultures including Mexico, Japan, Peru, and Italy to create elevated steak and seafood dishes as well as gourmet desserts. The menu features whimsical takes on ceviche, tapas, risotto, and more using locally sourced seafood, herbs, and vegetables from the Canaries.
Lola in Maspalomas is a standout for refined flavors in a relaxed, stylish setting. The atmosphere is chic but unpretentious—perfect for a slow dinner with friends or a quiet evening for two. Soft lighting, tasteful decor, and a calm vibe set the tone. The food speaks for itself. The Beef Carpaccio was paper-thin, melt-in-your-mouth tender, with just the right punch truffles. The Grilled Octopus was beautifully charred yet tender. And the Lemon as a dessert - ufff -Bright, refreshing, and elegant—a zesty finish that cleansed the palate without being too sweet. Service was smooth and professional, with staff who know the dishes well and pace the meal perfectly. Lola is a great pick if you're after high-quality food, thoughtful presentation, and a relaxed, upscale vibe.

So firstly if you come to the fab restaurant you are in for a treat. We simply had the best meal of our holiday here, the food was simply amazing and the service was to match. The waiter was attentive and clearly passionate about giving you an amazing meal and an amazing time. The restaurant itself had a great vibe and was very clean. There is simply nothing we could be negative about the meal we had was sublime.

Excellent food and drink selection - one of our local host’s favorite restaurants. They change their menu regularly. Three days into this season’s offering and nailed it! Great ingredients, unique fusion, wow! Very nice staff!

Amazing food! We we're a bit afraid of not being able to find an authentic place admidst all tourist traps, but this place was amazing!! We had the Carpaccio as an appetizer, which was one of the best carpaccio I've ever had and the mains were also delicious. The price of the dishes was very decent, at least not much more then what you would be pay at the lesser places close to the beach. Really recommend it!⭐️

On holiday at a lovely resort but thought we would take a step off to try this place as the pictures made it look incredible ! It truly lived up to the expectations the food was incredible as well as the staff and a great wine list ! Also a big shoutout to Danielle (hopefully spelt and remembered right!) who was fantastic and a great energy to have serving us on the evening. We were also a group of 7 for reference.

The food presentation and quality is good at fine dining level. It’s like a bistro inside and smallish. Simple menu and drinks but that’s because the quality is good. Although the rib eye was a bit chewy which was surprising. Not a lot of atmosphere but the food made up for it.

Had a fantastic meal tonight at Lola with my wife and son, Fabrizio and the team were so welcoming. The food was fantastic my wife and I had the Fish and chips KFC style which was fantastic and my son had the ribeye steak. The desserts were delicious. Well worth it...

Mana264 is a tapas bar with a full bar serving wine, beer, and cocktails. The menu features Mediterranean-inspired dishes such as charcuterie and olives along with traditional Spanish tapas such as gambas al ajillo (shrimp cocktail). There is also an international section with items like lamb kebabs and salmon tartare. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere with offbeat modern decor, and is wheelchair accessible.
Had an amazing meal here. Would recommend the pan con tomate with jamon ibeico, gambas ajillo and chiperones. Great staff with a personal touch. Yes, I'd say it was pricey. But we walked away not feeling bloated. The homemade tiramisu is an amazing desert too

Walk past the other Yumbo restaurants and head straight to Mana 264. You will be greeted by Alex with a huge infectious smile and personality. All of the staff is excellent but a big shout out to our man Jordi. He was a highlight of our trip. His good looks and fun personality went perfectly with the Yumbo vibe during Pride. He was a great sport with our antics and one of the most professional servers I have ever had. Make sure to get his Flambe to see his skill at not only cooking but also at entertaining! The food is delicious, the staff is impeccable, the drinks are perfectly prepared tableside and the overall ambience is perfect!! Do not miss Mana 264!!

Visited here for dinner in August 2025. Total for two with water and one alcoholic drink with 6 dishes was €80. Excellent Aperol Spritz. Overall an enjoyable evening. Service excellent (despite the man from the adjacent Olive restaurant trying to divert us). Food is good for the Yumbo and overall enjoyable.

Our first visit was years ago. Drawn in by the authentic (Spanish) approach to making great Gin Tonics; All the bells and whistles, where even the copa glasses are sprayed with citrus aroma/perfume. This holiday we decided to give Maña another try and we were again blown away. The GT’s are still sublime. However, food and service are even better; Amazing flavors, textures and a friendly and attentive staff. All this for very reasonable prices. A little gem in the concrete jungle that is Yumbo. We had two amazing diners so far and can’t recommend it enough!

The food is incredible here! So well priced and great portions too! Next door Olive is ferocious at trying to poach customers, ignore there persistent and belligerent sales staff! This place (Maná) definitely has the better food and service! We ordered 6 tapas dishes to share between the two of us and was plenty! The staff were super friendly and helpful and the food tasted incredible!

The food is really nice! Portions are rather small but the quality of the dishes is insane! Business is family owned which creates a nice dynamic. The restaurant itself has classy and clean interior, come by if you are tired of plastic chair and sandy tables. The owners are super aware and nice. Would highly recommend their goat cheese salad! The only thing that could be upgraded is their card where the vegetarian dishes could be marked as vegetarian :)

Probably one of the best places to eat in Playa del Ingles and so well hidden, you almost have to fight your way past people trying to force you into other restaurants. Ignore them all, THIS is the place to eat. The choice of food and drink is exceptional and the staff could not be more helpful, welcoming and friendly. The steak for me is amongst the best on the island and the cocktails are inventive and delicious. This is a MUST GO TO place for me every trip and even after 14 months away I was welcomed like an old friend. When you are a solo traveller some places ( especially in Melonares) would rather turn you away. here every person is special.

La Palmera Sur Restaurant, located inside the Gold by Marina hotel, is a favorite dining spot in Playa del Ingles. The restaurant offers a varied and sophisticated gastronomic experience with a focus on Asian fusion cuisine. Diners can enjoy classic dishes like eggplant chips and calamari sandwiches, as well as innovative creations such as squid noodles and Hong Kong Canarias noodles.
Palmera Sur is such a vibe! Loved the ambience super aesthetic and perfect for a cozy dinner or special outing. Celebrated my moms birthday here ! I came specifically for the famous white chocolate soup, but sadly it wasn’t available during my visit. That said, the aubergine chips with honey were a highlight crispy and delicious, though a bit pricey at €14. The cordero (lamb) meatballs were absolutely amazing so soft, flavorful, and well-seasoned. Overall, a lovely spot with great food and a beautiful setting. Would definitely visit again (hopefully next time for the white chocolate soup!).

Food is really good although we would have liked to see more variety in the menu given the duration between our previous visits. Really odd to see a couple eating a pizza in the restaurant before the main service, I wouldn’t have minded but was not on the menu it looked really good. Service started well but was let down by a young lady who lacked any customer empathy. Atmosphere is only marked as poor due to the obnoxious behaviour of a group of 4 who were not controlled by the team. Disappointing overall but worthy of a visit just to try the wonderful creations. Aubergine crisps are a delight.

This restaurant is located just right next to the Gold Hotel. The atmosphere is relaxed. The concept is around smaller dishes meant for sharing. The menu covers all sorts of styles, from fish tartars and meat options to vegetarian plates and desserts. We ordered the bread with local spreads, ceviche, duck gyoza, and stuffed arepas. Presentation-wise, everything looked really appealing, but flavor-wise it didn’t quite match the high prices and our fine dining expectations. The ceviche lacked acidity and had too much mayo for my taste, and the arepas felt a bit too greasy. On the upside, the service was excellent, and the ingredients were clearly very good. Still, the overall food quality didn’t meet my expectations, so I found the value for money not good enough.

Excellent meal this evening. Thank you for looking after us. Food overall really really good. Chorizo buns a highlight. The pineapple dessert was good but not as great as the other fantastic things on the menu. Cucumber spritz delicious! Overall a really nice experience with very good waiting staff making sure we understood the menu - especially complicated by the several languages spoken by our group!

The food was really good… I highly recommend… mmm… hard to choose, I just recommend whatever from the menu, it was tasty and the amount of food is good enough. If I have to choose three dishes, it would be the Fried aubergine chips with palm honey and sesame seeds, the creamy rice with carabineer, scallops and plankton, and the mango caneloni for dessert. Important to highlight the service… they were really friendly. The only negative aspect, there were no vegetarian options. Still… will I come back? For sure.

We were recommended La Palmera Sur so many times during our stay we started to think it was being overhyped - lemme tell ya, it's not. Easily the best food and most efficient service we had on our whole trip, and a really nice relaxed atmosphere overall. Everyone raves about the honey aubergine crisps - they're great, but they were actually my least favourite dish of the night! So order whatever you want, you can't go wrong :) The only blip was the creme brûlée (more like a bowl of custard) but for starters and mains everything was flawless.

What a pleasant surprise! Our dinner at La Palmera Sur on September 20 was a very good experience from start to finish. The food was flavorfull. The creativity and originality in the presentation and interpretation of the dishes were truly impressive. We especially appreciated the shared plates concept, which allowed us to enjoy a wide variety of flavors and textures throughout the meal. The service was also perfectly aligned with the high quality of the food — attentive, friendly, and professional. Highly recommended

Not bad restaurant with excellent food. But the staff either needs to be fired or trained: the waiters barely speak English, don't know the menu and can't explain the ingredients, and have no understanding about the courses (they served my dish first, but only served my wife 10 minutes later, so I was forced to eat a cold one). They often forget requests (they never brought an ashtray despite asking three times, and we asked for the bill several times).

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Maspalomas, Restaurante Allende 22º is a culinary gem that beautifully marries traditional Spanish flavors with international influences. This charming eatery has garnered attention for its inventive menu, featuring dishes like Paella Valenciana and Tandoori Salmon served alongside delightful homemade desserts such as Apple Strudel and Crème Brûlée. Guests rave about the friendly service and inviting atmosphere, making it a favorite among both locals and visitors alike.
We had a lovely experience at this restaurant! The friendly service and excellent wine recommendations really stood out. The traditional food was tasty. and the * dessert was delicious*. Ideal if you're seeking something less touristy and want different food from the restaurants in the Yumbo Center.

Service is fast and friendly. Dinning area is comfortable although it faces the street with high traffic. Toilets are in the basement. Food tastes good but portions are really small. The menu is very diverse, from ceviche, local to wok. Parking can be an issue.

“Average experience – nothing special” The restaurant has decent food, but I honestly don’t understand the 4.4-star rating. The atmosphere was just okay, and the chairs weren’t very comfortable. The ceviche had a nice flavor, but the fried squid was disappointing. Overall, the food was average—nothing to rave about. It’s not necessarily a bad place, but also not great. More of a typical tourist spot than a hidden gem. Been there once, no need to go again.

Loved the decor, great service. Food is great and depending on what you order the portion size is good. The pork bao bun is a must!! Absolutely delicious. The fried tacos or rolls were okay but they do put meat on them. The creme brulee was ok.

Probably the best food I had on Canary islands. Vegan options are from wok with tofu. I had absolutely delicious pasta with tofu and very well done veggies in teriyaki sauce.

We ended up going here two times during our stay i Maspalomas. The food was excellent. We did safe with simple steak the first time (so simple steak, and they nailed it), then we came back to try the tapas. It was delicious. Pro tip: Book a table in advance, it's quite popular.

Asian fusion restaurant
Fusion Restaurant & Loungebar in Playa del Ingles has been a long-time favorite for many. The menu features a variety of Asian fusion-style dishes, with the Rendang being highly recommended. Other must-try dishes include the mixed starter for two and the Vietnamese chicken curry. The restaurant offers fragrant and fresh Southeast Asian-inspired cuisine in a contemporary and stylish setting, providing a total dining experience.
We came across the restaurant by chance on the way home and as we both love Thai food, we decided to give it a try. Today was the day. Unfortunately, we arrived a little underdressed in sportswear due to the nice weather, but we still received a very friendly welcome. The ambience is definitely upscale and has nothing to do with the many Thai snack bars in Cologne. The service was very attentive and courteous. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. The prices are absolutely justified for what is on offer. I would say that this is the best Thai food we have ever eaten. Thank you very much for that. We will definitely visit again

Really good restaurant worthy of a higher rating. It was a little quiet on the evening we visited but service was very attentive and efficient. Only further comment would be the addition of a finger bowl for shared starters.
Andrew B — Google review
Fantastic place! The best food we had eaten the whole week we were in Gran Canaria!! It was very quiet when we visited, maybe not long open for the evening, but that was perfect for us. We wanted a nice quiet meal without thumping music ect... I had the ribs which were amazing and the ginger fries are definitely being made at home! The wife had the duck stir fry which was equally amazing!!! (I couldn't wait to tuck in and forgot the photo of the ribs!) The staff were really friendly too, which was a stark contrast to what we experienced the night before. Highly recommend!!! Typically only found you on our last night or we would have come back! Thank you for a great end to our holiday!!

We had an awesome dinner at Fusion. We shared the the Pho which was absolutely delicious and so fresh. I had the Beef Rendang, so tender and spiced to perfection. My girl had the Thai Rice noodles with chicken, also very good. Service was quick and friendly with nice atmosphere. We highly reccommend this place and will definately be back. Full 5 star worth.

Nice restaurant with some vegan options as well! Good for a romantic night out, or just to dine in a more closed setting. It's next to Yumbo, has plenty of tables, but only inside. It was completely empty at 10 pm, so it was very peaceful. The vegan burger was good, and it came with a thick patty. The service was very friendly, and the order was out shortly.

Had a very good time here. The food is something different from the rest in this area in a refreshing way, good portions and good prices. The staff was very polite and made you feel welcome. The place is very nice looking and well cooled.

Having been recommended by a few friends, we decided to try this restaurant on our latest visit to GC. The decor and atmosphere offers a warming reception upon entering, with plenty of space between tables. The team were genuinely friendly and up front stated there may be a delay, which is refreshingly honest. The menu has a wide variety of dishes for every pallet, we choose a shared starter which allowed us to sample many of the individual starters. Elegantly presented , the spring rolls were wrapped in a crisp yet perfectly cooked pastry. Each item had a unique flavour which resulted in fresh spices lingering after the course and excited for the main that followed. We chose the pan fried duck with pineapple along with the Vietnamese curry for mains. The freshness in both dishes is unmistakable with fragrance and delicate spice resulting in meals that satisfy and delight. Both came served with fluffy jasmine rice. The portion sizes are just right, and the timing between courses allow you to appreciate the previous. Service was excellent with the team speaking multiple languages to differing guests. The men's bathroom was clean and whilst rather dark it appeared to be due to a light bulb that may have recently gone out. I would highly recommend this restaurant for both the excellent cuisine and friendly atmosphere that allows you to relax and enjoy good food over the art of conversation.

The Tipsy Hammock bar, situated in the heart of Playa del Ingles, is a haven for live music enthusiasts. With regular performances by talented musicians, it's the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sunset over the sea with a refreshing drink or snack. Nestled in a picturesque beachfront location, this tropical-themed bar offers a relaxed ambiance complete with comfortable hammocks and sun loungers. The natural surroundings and tranquil atmosphere contribute to its laid-back vibe.
Such a nice, trendy en fun bar. The staff is lovely, and so are the drinks. High quality cocktails. The food was amazing. Because it’s close to the beach, there is a cool breeze that makes it even on the hotter days bearable to sit. And the live music makes the experience complete. The place is populair so would recommend to make a reservation or if you don’t mind to wait a bit for a table.

We sought out this bar after a recommendation from another tourist. We were not disappointed! This place is lively with an amazing vibe. The lady playing the electric saxophone was brilliant, with a really varied choice of music. We tried the quesadilla and it was top notch. I had a lovely cocktail and it was really nice to find some different ones on the menu. When we next return to Maspolomas we'll make a point of stopping here. Huge shout out to the staff who really make the place what it is.

Lovely place with great atmosphere. Very busy wich makes service little bit slow, but worth it. staff is friendly and Cocktails are amaaaazing!! 🤩 Food is really good and generous sizes! We had the seafood plate which was lush (octopus was to die for!), Pizza, really good, and Classico burger, great taste but patty little bit well done and compact for me, fries had a good taste but little bit too soggy. dip was nice and the little corn cob awesome!! will definitely go back next time. 🔥 Lots of live performances aswell

Really great spot for cocktails that we visited a couple of times during our stay. There's a large variety of cocktails on offer, many with their own twist. We also ate one evening, the ribs were particually good and fell off the bone! Both times we went they had someone playing guitar and then a DJ later in the evening, so created a good atmosphere. It was busy both times, but they also have seating upstairs, so I imagine you'll almost always get a seat.

We really enjoyed our evening at Tipsy Hammock Bar! The atmosphere was fantastic – great vibes, delicious drinks, and even better food. The service was friendly and attentive, and the music made the night even more special. We had a live singer first, followed by a really good DJ (@JONNAYB.J). Overall, we can absolutely recommend this place!
Florian W — Google review
I recommend TIPSY HAMMOCK, it’s the liveliest place in the area. The singer was entertaining, and the lemonades were excellent. The food was good. The only thing we didn’t like was that we had to beg the staff to take our order, and even then they kept forgetting about us — the waiting time was unbelievable.
Stefan K — Google review
Great place for a drink and afternoon entertainment. The food is ok, chips we were oliy and soggy, onion rings bland. The Tacos and chicken wings we were decent. We did like the atmosphere and the singer was entertaining. Priced for the UK patrons so much more expensive than the rest of the bars down the beach strip.

The best food we've had all week, in fact, it's the best food we've had all year!! This place has the most incredible food on the island. Ibéricos J.Cruz is a cozy tapas restaurant located in the suburb of Playa del Ingles, Bellavista. The restaurant offers a slightly upscale setting and serves traditional Spanish tapas in a familiar and satisfying manner. With both indoor and outdoor seating, it's recommended to make reservations for dinner due to its popularity, especially on weekends.
I had the spareribs and they were absolutely delicious – hands down the best on the island. My girlfriend had the burger with arugula, Ibérico, and Canarian cheese, and that was also super tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive, and there was a great selection of wines to choose from. They also offer a wide variety of starters, so there’s something for everyone. Highly recommended!

Having seen the reviews I had to try this restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. For starter I was offered a mix of Lobster & Wagyu croquettes as I couldn't decide which to try and my partner had the shredded beef tacos. Both were delicious, we also had a small plate of Iberico meats, just to try them, again these were super tasty. These were followed by a gourmet burger for me and an Iberico sirloin for my partner. My only issue is the burger came with sweet potato fries, which I'm not a fan of, instead of normal fries. The burger was tasty and very filling and the steak was tender and cooked to perfection.

Wow, what a great experience. The food and especially the carchuteria was amazing. The personnell was very friendly and overall a very nice atmosphere. This is definitively a place to visit if you are on Gran Canaria!

We had a mixed experience at this restaurant. The meal started off great—the meat dish was fantastic, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The bruschetta was also a highlight, with fresh ingredients and a satisfying crunch. Unfortunately, the fried octopus was incredibly rubbery and difficult to chew. While the appetizers and meat dish were delicious, the poor preparation of the octopus really brought down the overall score.

Booked online, easily done, a table for 2 adults. On arrival we were treated with a smile and a warm welcome, a choice of tables, inside or outside, shaded from the evening sun. My wife wanted a Canarian white wine, a liittle sweeter than a sauvignon blanc, up stepped (Spanish Kevin!!,) the restaurant manager, he explained the different types of wine along with a recommendation with pride and knowledge, poured a tasting glass and ...... Yes, spot on, result! Next was the menu, we had difficulty selecting dishes until ..... up popped Spanish Kevin and again, with his expertise we chose: Croquettes, 3x lobster and 3x Wagyu beef, an Iberico tapas sharing plate and Truffled rice with pork all of which was absolutely delightful. We also asked that the food came as and when with no rush, just to relax, enjoy the evening and the ambience which is exactly what we got. The kitchen and Chefs was and were immaculate. The restaurant is beautiful and well worth a visit. Well done Spanish Kevin and his staff, you did yourselves proud, Muchas grasias 🙏

Wagyu and lobster croquettes as a started which was excellent, ribs for my main were so tender you could eat them with a straw. Great wines, very attentive staff, I think prices are very fair. The only regret I got was that I wasn't able to finish my cheesecake, it was that good, but totally stuffed :)

Fantastic meal. The food was done fabulously and portion size was just right - not too much or too little. The waitstaff are extremely attentive and can easily recommend dishes and let you know if you are ordering the right amount of food or the right combination of flavours. There is a good cocktail selection and the ambiance is great. Good location as well with easy parking for free on the street. The dishes we had were the jamon bruschetta, the smoked burrata, the special octopus and the wagyu tartar. Well worth the trip, you will not be disappointed.

Great service the waiter was really friendly The atmosphere was lovely we sat in the sheltered outside area The food was absolutely amazing. When I'm on holidays I rarely return to the same place, but this restaurant deserved it. One of the best Seafood Paella I've ever had. Lovely little find of a restaurant. Doesn’t look much to it (café style tables and chairs), but the food was very reasonably priced and really nice. Been going to this place numerous times on visits over the years. Watch what your charged as they add extra items onto your bill. When you complain they get aggressive and tell you you had the items. God knows what ive been overcharged for with them over the years as usually just pay and have a laugh with them. They seem stressed and the place has gone to ruin. Dont waste your time at this place other restaurants nearby that are nice

We’ve been here yesterday. It’s a nice restaurant which serves huge portions. The mixed paella for two in particular was more like a portion for three. It was quite good, but a bit too salty for us and the meat a bit cooked for too long = dry. The service was nice, although a bit hectic. Please note: They charged us 2,50€ extra for the food = “comida” was written on our receipt - no other restaurant has charged us for the “general food” we ordered. This was a bit weird for us, but we still paid it.

La Tapita Los Jose's is a laid-back eatery that specializes in traditional Spanish small plates and wine. The restaurant features a minimalistic interior with wooden partitions, creating a simple yet cozy atmosphere. Located beside the Parroquia de San Fernando, it offers an authentic experience of the city's culture. With its diverse menu of international cuisine, it attracts customers seeking unique and flavorful dishes. Notable items include delicious Spanish tapas, gambas al ajillo, and calamari.
La Tapita was recommended to us by a local resident and we were not disappointed when we stopped for a very late afternoon lunch. It’s a neighborhood restaurant far away from the waterfront. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It’s a small restaurant decorated in a pleasant contemporary style, there are also outside tables along the sidewalk. We ordered small portions of the Boina, meatballs, sausage, a large plate of Croquetas, and the house red wine. Everything was very tasty. They have wonderful variety of tiramisu and mousse to select for dessert. The tapas menu is served until 17:50, then the dinner menu is available. Make sure you notice the selection of tapas available when you first walk in. Street parking is available. It’s also close to the highway with easy on and off access.

The standout dishes include the ribs and lobster croquettes, although some felt that certain items like the salmon could use more seasoning. Guests praised the amazing food, good wine selection, and stunning ambiance despite potential noise issues.
Went here after seeing the cocktails on Google reviews. I wasn't disappointed! The restaurant is as fun as it looks! We were spell bound from the first glance to the last! We unfortunately didn't eat here, but that's a mistake I regret, because the other tables food looked fun and tasty. The cocktails were fun and tasty! We definitely agreed to come again before our holiday finishes, this time to eat, and maybe have another cocktail... Or two.

The food here is incredible, hubby and I shared the set menu and it was delicious - €100 for a bottle of wine about four starters followed by Iberian sirloin and a dessert. We had a two-person multi-course dinner booked here. Unfortunately during the second starter, my partner suddenly felt unwell and had to leave to be sick in the restroom. We informed the staff that we wouldn’t be able to continue the meal, even though the next courses were probably already being prepared. Despite the disruption, the staff were incredibly understanding and kind. They only charged us for the starters and the bottle of wine, and even packed up the dishes and wine for us to take home! We really appreciated their thoughtful handling of the situation it made a difficult moment feel less sad and awkward. The restaurant looks so pretty and the food we were able to try was really tasty. We hope to be back another time to enjoy the full experience. Great thanks from the both of us (Joni and Sebastian) again for your care and kindness! :)

The atmosphere of the place is really cool and the music is the perfect volume, just so the other tables can’t really hear each other. The service was really good and we never had to wait on an waitress. For starter I got the Herrera cheese it had a very interesting flavor but I was really good. My main course was the rips. They was really tender and I could rip the meat of with a fork. I ate the damn cookie for dessert. It tasted a bit like gingerbread. Overall a very underrated restaurant. If you don’t like some different food items you normally eat you should pick another restaurant.

Never been to a hard rock however, i know of the brand but so glad we came here. Was only in Gran Canaria for a week but we came here for two meals. Service was really good both times with the first time being on a quiet evening and second time very busy. Food was really tasty both times however, on the busier night my salmon was raw but they replaced it very quickly and it was great. Atmosphere was lovely with a live band on the evening nights which was a great touch. Menu had plenty of options and there was lots of drink options too! Thank you Hard Rock!

Have been in a few other Hard Rock Cafes worldwide so tried here. Lacking the music memorabilia a lot of the others are known for. Had a Messi Burger for 20 euros. It comes with provolone, bacon, chorizo and onion marmalade. Nice enough. Sides are extra. Had an Apple Cobbler for dessert which was really delicious. The Dirty Martini they made had no olives so was not dirty as such. It was fine for what it was but by far, the most expensive meal I had when out here.

Overall some good food and great service. Two points of attention. The burger itself, so the meat did not have seasoning. The taste was a bit blunt. The oreo milkshake we ordered was warm. The union rings and gamba's were very tastfull. The service was good, a lot of poeple on the floor to help

I don't know, actually Hard Rock Café is always top and there's actually nothing I can say against it, but there's a lot here that's really bad. First the boss (A man in a white shirt) discusses and quarrels with waiters in the middle of the store. If you come to the restaurant, you have to wait about 10 minutes until you get a table (that's not because there are no seats because many tables are empty and clean and 3 floors are empty and are not used at all) and if you have managed to get a place you can continue to wait we got our drinks at 20:25 and then ordered (Boneless Bodacious Tender Classic) they were good and not cold, And at 21:15 we finally got our order (a few that came after us got the order exactly that we ordered in front of us and that much earlier than us) at 9:26 pm finally came my appetiser (onion rings) they were good, and at 21:32 our burgers came. With my double chess burger there was no sauce on it after inquiries mayo was popped on it and ready (on the upper burger side once) the meat was like rubber. The country burger was okay. The building is beautiful and also modernly furnished and looks good but that's it. By and large I can only say look from the outside and buy a T-shirt and then eat at McDonald's or in another restaurant. The employees were fine, our waitress apologised but nothing changed, the young man in the entrance area who also takes care of the shop tried his best to improve the mood. I'm better used to the Hard Rock Café.
Max B — Google review
Gran Caneria's only Hard Rock Cafe. It was ok. We only had drinks so cannot comment on the food. The drinks were a little pricey. As they always are in a Hard Rock. The service was great though. Disappointed by the lack of memorabilia on display. Very little compared to other Hard Rock Cafes in other locations I've been to. Not a great view from the bar/balcony. You're just looking over a car park unfortunately.
Michael H — Google review
The food was excellent. We were there at a quiet time. The view of the beach was great. It was nice that the music was not too loud. The renovation of the terrace in front was a bit noisy. The waiters were friendly and nice. We will come again.
Tarja V — Google review
Absolutely horrendous from start to finish. I have been to many Hard Rock Cafes and its always been an awesome experience. But this..... oh my word. I'm not sure what just happened. (Baring in mind reading this there were a handful of us in the restaurant.) Shop- thats all, that was there was Jumpers, Tshirts and drinking glasses. Not like a normal Hars Rock Cafe Shop that has so much merchandise to offer. Service- once they have taken your first ever order, they literally do not want to know you after that. We even went up to the bar to grab drinks as we could not get the server attention, to which we were told to sit back down at our table and was refused to be served by the bar. We were offered sauces when food was served, and never received them, asked again, and again we did not recieve them. Entertainment- What a joke. Miming Michael Jackson singing on stage. Have I missed something. Never seen such a terrible entertainment from the Hard Rock Cafe in my life. Spent a large amount of money of a great disappointing night out, could not wait to leave the Hard Rock Cafe. Will never be going back.
Rebecca J — Google review
Food was delicious having one of the incredible Messi burgers. Highly recommended for sure. Staff were nice and quick until the Michael Jackson tribute started and they sort of lost interest in serving anyone for a good while. The Michael Jackson tribute was very ropey. The man wasn't even attempting to make it look like it wasn't a lip sync and whenever he did actually say something it was just a loud scream or a terrible hee hee impression. Slightly disappointing but at least the burger and desert were good

Nestled in the vibrant area of Maspalomas, Britannia stands out as one of Gran Canaria's most beloved British restaurants. Renowned for its hearty traditional English breakfasts and delightful homemade dishes, this eatery is a haven for those craving a taste of home. Diners rave about the freshly prepared fish served with hand-cut chips and the mouthwatering steak pie that keeps patrons coming back for more.
Good price for breakfast. Only 12€ for two persons. Food was fine, big portion. Nothing fancy but not bad. We liked it.

I know you shouldn’t go on holiday and eat English food, but when you’ve got a horrific Yumbo Centre related hangover, only one thing can help. Superb hangover cure in the form of a great Full English breakfast. Friendly service from the two gents running the place too.

The Savoy Restaurant is an impressive establishment, with a stylish ambiance and amiable staff. Their cuisine boasts exceptional quality, offering a delightful combination of taste and portion size at reasonable prices. Patrons have raved about the delectable dishes they have savored here, often accompanied by complimentary house spirits or brandy. While a few individuals may not have exercised patience due to perceived delays in food service, it should be noted that the servings are substantial, warranting some understanding from diners.
We got a recommendation by GoByCar. Today we followed up. Initial thoughts were we end up but we were pleasantly surprised. Nice and cosy restaurant. We had the union soup and mixed gril

Definitely a great place to go if you're a carnivore and want to taste some really good cuts. The place is placed on the first floor of the Cota Shopping Mall and is pretty big so that you don't really need to reserve. The staff is nice, speaking several languages. The chateaubriand was very tasty, the fries were from a supermarket and the prone cocktail was regular however.

Restaurant
Grill restaurant, El Granero, is highly regarded for its exceptional food and pleasant ambiance. The staff is known for their amiable and supportive nature. Due to COVID precautions, proof of vaccination is currently required. It's advisable to make reservations in advance as the eatery attracts a large crowd. Opting for half portions is recommended since the servings are generous, allowing patrons to savor more varieties of dishes.
One of the best grill restaurants! The staffs were all very friendly and helpful. With COVID measures that vaccination proof was required at this moment. Suggested to reserve in advance because the restaurant is very popular. Have ordered 5 dishes in haf portion (for 2 people) but we couldn't finish and needed to take away. The portion was quite big so better to order half portion and try few more dishes. The chicken skewer was very good, the best dish we had.

This restaurant specialises in meat grilled over a real fire, no fish and limited vegetarian options. So if you don't like meat this is not for you Opens weekends and fiestas only and you need to check if that includes Friday night. Highly recommend booking. The venue is basic but they have recently replaced all the tables and chairs and spring cleaned. Good food, reasonably priced, friendly staff and good service.

Restaurante Mao Mao Beach is a charming beachside restaurant with a small kitchen that manages to deliver incredibly delicious dishes. Visitors rave about the Galician-style octopus, squid, croquettes, and potatoes with mojo. The ambiance is perfect for enjoying early morning coffee or late afternoon drinks on the beach. The staff are described as lovely and helpful, serving with a smile and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Guests also appreciate the fair prices and beautiful scenery.
Excellent restaurant right on the beach - I had to go on the sand to get to the table. Food is brilliant. Fresh fish which was different each visit. Staff are so friendly and helpful - I met Eva (?) on Monday evening who made the evening great and friendly. They are genuinely nice people. I went back and would recommend to anyone.

Right on the beach, this is a fabulous stop off for a bite and a drink. They have a canopy covering most of the tables, but a table on the edge of the seating area gets full sun. Lovely music and just a great atmosphere. The food is tremendous, I ate the sardines a few times, €15 for a good plate full.

Beautiful place, however was made to wait an age for just a couple of drinks while the staff all messed about with each other. Then took an age to get a simple bill paid, while one staff was worked while three sat there eating. A nice place, poor organisation and no discipline. Would not go back. Shame.

Probably the best place to go eat if you are at Playa de las Burras. We tried the fresh fish of the day, octopus and fried sardines and it was all really delicious. Pizza was nice and crispy and the service was really fast and polite. We also recommend you try baraquito, it was awesome! The prices are also very reasonable.

I make sure to visit this spot every year while on vacation in playa de ingles....sometimes just for beers/cocktails and snacks. Great location in the sand with friendly staff and perfect views. Yes, sometimes there is a wait to sit or even for the food, but well worth it...enjoy the location and a beer or two. Try the potatoes canarian, small green peppers, garlic shrimp or the pizza. There is a small bathroom as well.

Restaurante 360° is a high-end dining establishment located atop the Bohemia Suites and Spa in Playa del Ingles, offering a love letter to Canarian specialties with carefully presented dishes such as suckling pig and rabbit rice. The restaurant features curvaceous interiors in vibrant colors, a grand piano at the center, and neon signage on the walls. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the Gran Canarian coastline from high-floor tables or outdoor balcony seating while sampling top-quality local cuisine.
What a great surprise! We’d heard good things about the food and the views at this restaurant, and it totally lived up to the hype. The service was excellent and the staff super friendly. We actually messed up our reservation time, but they still managed to fit us in right away, which we really appreciated. The steak was delicious, and the tuna tataki was just as good. Highly recommended for a fine dining experience in Maspalomas!
Stefano C — Google review
It was recommended to me by a friend because of the views. However, in my opinion it is not high enough to get a great view. The service is friendly and very attentive. They know how to make one feel special. Nicely decorated. The place has 3 areas: bar with very loud young party music, followed by an area with view to the beach and partially to the dunes without air conditioning and then an air conditioning area with view to the beach. The cocktail menu is quite original and liked 2 out of 3. We chose 2 simple starters and they were definitely disappointing. A ceviche herring which tasted like supermarket herring and 100% ibérico ham which was chewy and to our best guess vacuumed packed before. Payment in cash as the machine connection suddenly broke.

Bohemia Suites & Spa, 360 Restaurant — Gran Canaria The whole experience delivers consistency. Still my favourite place to eat in Gran Canaria. We ended with cocktails on the terrace (don’t forget to make a reservation for it). The foie gras pâté with toasted bread was delicious. The pork cheeks another delightful plate, it melted in the mouth. Finished with the pavlova. It really is a premium experience without slipping into pretension. Would I recommend 360? Absolutely. Every time.

Excellent service and delicious food. A warm and friendly welcome from staff too. The location at the top of the building has amazing views across Playa del Ingles. Very nice and unique restaurant with view over the city and beach. We were not guests at the hotel which the restaurant is located in. I booked a table for my step dad and family as a belated birthday gift, on our summer holiday. I had some issues with making the booking via their website. And I couldn’t reach the telephonist since the restaurant opens at 6pm. But we managed to get a table. The food was really good, a bit fancier and really not too expensive. I ordered the grilled scallops and the gelato/sorbet. I really enjoyed the Aphrodite drink! Perfect for tourists in playa del ingles, for both hotel and non hotel guests! See the pictures

Fantastic cocktails, lots of choice of tapas but we went for a starter (mushrooms with mincemeat and cheese and garlic sauce and Iberian Ham on garlic bread with tomatoes) and a main (chicken snizhel and chicken skewer) all the food was fantastic. Freshly cooked to order and well worth the wait. A lovely place to sit and relax with a choice of eating on terrace or in the restaurant. We will be back again!

poor service, needed to wait for food a very long time, the chef prepared a salad for my friend without half of ingredients, the manager was not nice when taking the critic. A representative on a street advised that some dishes very very big and we could share while it was a lie.

We were in this location because of the advertising that the Senses is also a Shishabar. In my homeland Germany I usually go about 1-2 times a week in locations were I can smoke Shisha. When we got our Shisha we mentioned that the quality is miserable! A Shisha bought for less than 25€ and used with self-burning coal. No natural coal. These chemical coal used to burn about 8 minutes and the taste was horrible. To pay 12€ for the worst Shisha which I have ever received was really disappointing. In Germany we have to pay about 8€-10€ to smoke about at least 1,25 hours of high quality Shisha. I can not say something about the food in this restaurant but don't visit the Shishabar! To be fair: the service were very friendly and also the location seemed to be clean and nice.

Really beautiful restaurant. The mains were lovely, no complaints. However, I ordered the chocolate pudding for desert and was not impressed. The image advertised is far from what you get given. Firstly, when it arrived it was still frozen (it had come straight out of the freezer!), I couldn’t even get my teaspoon into it. After informing someone I was told that they’d put it in the microwave, with no apology. When I got my (slightly) edible warm pudding, not only was it stuck to the outside packaging, but it was all like chocolate sludge. Food was nice but the desert was a real letdown, would’ve been nice to receive an apology or for it to have been comped from the bill.

A beautiful restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. We were sat outside, but could still hear the piano music being played from within. The staff were very helpful, and identified a good number of gluten free options on the menu. Dishes ordered: 2x Salmon (one with chips, and a side of mushroom sauce and one with canary potatoes) with a shared side of the roasted vegetables (please note - that it is worth ordering a side with this dish as it doesn't come with vegetables and the side salad is small).
Ethan S — Google review
Bruschetta was made vegan as it originally comes with cheese and arugula. They could have served the toasted bread with tomato and arugula. Vegan burger bun is so dry and looks sad in the photo. The beyond meat burger was alright. The poke bowl was missing some blueberries as mentioned in the menu. I don’t like it when there’s a missing item on the food I order. Bowl is tiny and looks like it’s just good as a side dish. The waiter was kind enough to give us 20% discount due to missing blueberries! There was live music which was really good!

Place is nice and have a modern design, clean and friendly service. But the quality of the beef, in our case the sirloin and ribeye, was very poor. The steaks were not at all tender enough as would would expect from a place like this. The side dish, in our case canaria potatoes and fries, were as well very poor. Dried potatoes and soaky fries. Would not eat here again.

We had a reservation for 8pm but didn’t get seated until around half past, however we were allowed to enjoy a drink beside the bar while we waited for a table to be ready, we could tell they were very busy and the queue was out the door, so we didn’t mind, and the end of the night they gave us a 50% discount for the waiting, which wasn’t necessary as everything was perfect ! After seeing countless reviews of this restaurant, we decided to book a reservation here and try it out. We weren’t very impressed at all. The starters were ok, but the steak we ordered (that we asked to be medium) came nearly raw and even after them cooking it again it still wasn’t medium. This was meant to be one of the best places for steaks too. Prices were very expensive as well, we had 2 starters, mains, a round of drinks and it was €95! Not happy at all.

Martel House is a low-key restaurant known for its generous portion sizes and reasonable prices. The menu features a variety of dishes, with highlights such as the flavorful steak, tasty croquetas with green sauce, and delicious patatas arrugadas. While the seafood paella received mixed reviews, the grilled sole fish and Canarian potatoes were described as scrumptious. Overall, Martel House is a reliable choice for those seeking good food in the Playa del Ingles Centro Commercial area.
It was an absolutely amazing experience at this restaurant. The portion of everything was so big! And so delicious, especially the lobster. The mushroom sauce was fantastic, it goes with everything. Beef was very nice too. Will be back!

We decided to try this restaurant because it’s always busy when we pass by. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the service. The waiter brought out our main courses before the appetisers, which was frustrating. However, the food itself was excellent. The portions were generous, and everything was very tasty. I particularly enjoyed the appetiser, and my main course—fresh fish—was absolutely lovely. I would recommend this place to tourists. It’s a lively, welcoming spot and very gay-friendly.

We came here as a family and had the T bone steak me and my partner did it was the most juiciest and flavourful steak we both have had he has had steaks from Vegas and this one topped that I have had pretty good steak before but nothing came close to this one though it was seasoned so well also. 10/10 would definitely recommend good price too the blue cheese sauce was amazing as well

Nice place. Food is good (portions are great - maybe on the ‘too much’ side but some people like that!) shared a seafood paella which was great purely on the fact they gave a good healthy amount of seafood which sometimes restaurants give you 3-4 seafood pieces and that’s it. There were 11 of us and everyone thought the food was good - nothing particularly to call home about but it gets the job done for sure. On that note, the service was speedy and super friendly and accommodating even with 11 of us barging in together.

Costa Italy is an exceptional Italian restaurant that offers an outstanding dining experience. Their menu includes a variety of delectable dishes prepared with skill and finesse. The garlic bread topped with mozzarella is simply divine and the pizza is equally wonderful. The establishment should take pride in their culinary creations as they are truly remarkable.
A gem in the area of many tourist traps – of course this is in the same game but the food didnt disappoint, service was genuine and delightfully thoughtful. The restaurant exceeded our expectations. Really good fire oven pizzas and limoncello spritz. Hamburgers too, which we had on our second visit.
Jenni K — Google review
I was fooled by the reviews but it’s a tourist trap. The prices are not THAT bad considering the location and the portions, however the taste is just not worth it. First of they won’t give you a glass of water? You have to buy a bottle, the aperol spritz was one of the worst i’ve had that tasted like soda and the pasta was ok but a bit plain. Service is good. If you’re looking for italian food i’d go somewhere else.

Great place to stop for drink and food with the perfect view of beach. Food was delicious too, Great portion so we are well satisfied. Thank you:)
Frederika P — Google review
The look of the restaurant might be a bit deceiving, as it isn't decorated as nicely, but gives a great view on the ocean. They had great food, tried the Pizza and grilled Salmon. Can also recommend the garlic-scampi. Good, friendly and professional staff. The restroom is a little run down but still clean.

Delicious food, great service, friendly staff. We dined here twice on our holiday - great experiences each time. Grilled steaks, chicken, pasta, lovely pizza. See if you can get a table looking out over the beach.

Ate here twice while we were here. Staff are very friendly. Food was delicious. Had pizza first night, to die for. Tortellini the second night, very tasty and good portion size. Highly recommend this place. Wine was lovely too. Great view of the beach.
Jason N — Google review
Staff very friendly and fantastic views over the beach. Starters (Canary Potatoes and Cheesy Garlic Bread) were excellent and both very tasty. The mains were pretty average, you could tell it wasn’t the best quality ingredients. We also had our mains served when we hadn’t yet finished our starters so it felt quite rushed. I would add it was very cheap so you are getting what you pay for in this instance but based on our own experience we wouldn’t return.

The Red Cow & Shenanigans is a popular sports bar in Playa del Ingles, known for showing hockey games from Scandinavian countries. It offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it a favorite spot for both locals and visitors. The food is of great value with generous portions at reasonable prices, including tasty toppings on burgers and delicious nachos. The friendly staff provides excellent service, whether you're ordering at the bar or being served at your table.
Visited Red Cow and Shenanigans several times during my week-long stay, and it quickly became a favourite. The food was consistently excellent—hearty portions, well-cooked, and packed with flavour. Special shout-out to their chilli con carne, which hit the spot every single time. Service was always quick and genuinely friendly, even during busy periods. The staff made the place feel welcoming and relaxed, which added to the overall good vibes. If I had one small gripe, it’s the pint glasses—they’ve clearly seen better days. They’re scratched up from cleaning and have a slightly odd texture against your mouth, which takes away from an otherwise great pint. Overall, a brilliant wee spot that I’d happily return to. Just give those glasses a refresh!

Really lovely food and staff, I hadn't realized there was a kids menu either so that was a nice surprise! El Chacho is a Mexican restaurant located in the heart of Yumbo center, offering a peaceful dining experience with freshly prepared dishes. The staff is known for their exceptional service and attentiveness to guests' needs, especially accommodating to families with young children. The vibrant decor and colorful murals create a lively ambiance, complemented by delicious Micheladas.
Incredibly friendly service and the best Mexican food I’ve had in a while. Throw in a kick ass margarita with spiced salt and you’re on your way to a great evening. Definitely get the bacon wrapped goat cheese appetizer in pumpkin sauce (slight pumpkin flavor and not overwhelming).
Kevin K — Google review
As a Mexican American from Texas, let me just say that this isn’t Mexican - it’s TexMex AT BEST! If you don’t know Spanish, you might get some rude vibes from the waiters. But don’t sweat it, I think it’s just a communication issue. I am fully fluent in Spanish so I didn’t have an issue but I did see others struggle a little. The food’s similarity to Mexican food is about what’s expected in a Spanish territory on the coast of Africa. Don’t expect anything extraordinary. However, there are some things you can get that are pretty comparable to TexMex. I got the Big Burrito with chicken. The good thing about this restaurant is that they have pickled jalapenos - all you have to do is ask for a side of them. Also you can ask for a side of sour cream to go with your burrito. Also, ask for the SPICY SALSA as it is different and tastes a whole lot better. It was really filling. The portion was excellent. And overall the burrito was acceptable; again, keeping in mind that you’re just off the coast of Africa! What I would suggest is having a section exclusively for smoking customers. Many tourists do not want to be exposed to cigarette smoke and sometimes the smell can ruin your dinner experience. As an ex-smoker, I’m not entirely disgusted by it but I can definitely see it being a problem for people. I will warn though that the Appetizers are most definitely not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend any of the appetizers. The regular salsa tasted like tomato paste. My friend got a meat skillet and the sauce they provided tasted like barbecue sauce - which is NOT used in any Mexican dish!
Christopher R — Google review
El Chacho Mexican Restaurant is set right on the square at the Yumbo Centre, setting the vibe before you even look at the menu. The thing that stood out was the attention to dietary requirements. I asked for my fajitas without cheese, and the server immediately checked whether sour cream was still fine. I liked that the menu had a decent selection of food that felt nutritious rather than just heavy plates. There’s a lot at the Yumbo so this stood out as provide food that’s good for the soul. I had a frozen margarita (twice) and both were spot on. Will definitely come back.

I pre-booked this restaurant having read the reviews, as it is popular. I wasn't disappointed. The staff are very friendly, attentive and polite and the food was delicious. I had chicken Souvlaki, which came with rice, some pitta bread and homemade Tzatziki. The food was fresh, flavoursome and presented well. I would recommend coming here but try and book first. They do accept walk ins but as it's popular you might not be guaranteed a table.

The food and service was great - from the ladies working at the restaurant. The older man who works there was rude to me upon the entrance to the restaurant. He asked me if I have a reservation, and when I said we do not, he asked me in condescending way if I knew what reservations are, kind of throwing the question in the air not expecting the answer - very unnecessary comment that almost made me turn around and leave. He then just threw in a comment that he will need the table back in two hours, still not nicely or politely. The food was great and the remaining of the service was amazing as well, I will not be coming back though due to the experience I had.

Gio Restaurant in Maspalomas is a popular spot for both food and drinks. Visitors praise the amazing food, generous portions of pasta, and tasty cocktails. The friendly staff provides quick service in a beautiful setting, making it good value for money. It's an ideal place to start a night out in Yumbo with its perfect carbonara and welcoming atmosphere.
Stopped here to eat before going to Ricky's Cabaret and had a lovely time. The waiters were really friendly (they've got a waiter who looks just like Gus Fring, although the food isn't anything like Pollos Hermanos). Starters of Parma ham and melon (nicely presented, thinly sliced ham and melon) and garlic bread (didn't look special but Kelly said it's the best garlic bread she's had in several years, very garlicky, yum). Mains of pasta (Kettle had penne with bacon and mushroom, I had tagliatelle with salmon, cream and asparagus). I nearly licked the plate clean.

Being coming to Goo for last 10 years or so, it's like the start of out Canary holiday ritual. The pizza & pasta were huge portions. Although they didn't use the proper palma ham but normal English ham on their pizza which is a same. But can't fault their service & people watching environment. Will still come again next year.

We were getting some dinner after a few cocktails and ended up at Gio Restaurant Bar Café. The service was friendly and quick. The waiter arranged a table especially for us and our drinks, food and bill came promptly. We both had pasta, which was simple but good. It was what we wanted after a few drinks. The atmosphere was great—lots of people coming and going to soak up the Yumbo centre energy. It was busy without being chaotic, and the space worked well for groups or couples. One thing to keep in mind is the toilets. They are beautiful but can have a queue, so it’s worth keeping an eye on them before you need to go. ★★★★☆
Khan L — Google review
Terrible service, bland food, and zero sense of hospitality. I ordered a pizza diavola and a beer. What could possibly go wrong with something so simple? Turns out, everything. The pizza was mediocre at best: soggy in the middle, burnt at the edges, and tasteless overall. It looked better than it tasted, and even that’s being generous. The pepperoni had no flavor, the cheese was low-quality, and the dough was tough. Service? Nonexistent. The staff couldn’t care less. Unfriendly, slow, and completely disorganized. I sat there wondering if I had suddenly become invisible. It’s clear they’re used to tourists they’ll never see again, because that’s exactly how they treat you. To top it off, the place is overpriced for what it is. €15.20 for this disaster of a meal. There are countless better places to eat in Playa del Inglés and Yumbo Centrum, don’t waste your time or money here. Final verdict: A tourist trap with a fake Italian name. Keep walking.

Literally the best food in Gran Canaria. The best Italian for sure, but not only that. The steak is out of this world, and everything else on the menu goes far beyond expectations. What makes it even more special is the people. Everyone here is so warm, attentive, and genuinely nice, always ready to help and make you feel at home. Every time we’ve been here, it has been a wonderful experience. From the beer tips to the little Italian lessons, it’s always a pleasure.

This beautiful and cozy restaurant is located in a popular tourist area. The food and appetizers were delicious. We tried the garlic bread, shrimp salad, and chicken salad, and they were all excellent. The staff was very polite and attentive, helping us choose dishes we would enjoy. Be sure to make a reservation before you go!

I generally cannot express how happy I was sitting at this restaurant, the service was impeccable, the staff were so attentive and very quick to accommodate any requests, I managed to interact with every member of staff and each and everyone of them are a credit to this restaurant. The food was out of this world, the octopus and prawn starter was one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. Our steak option ‘Chateaubriand‘ was such a unique experience being able to cook our own steak to our own choosing, the steak was so tender and melted in our mouth. The atmosphere was very chilling and the setting is quite modern fancy.

The dining experience at Bollywood Indian Restaurant was exceptional, with outstanding cuisine and excellent service. The friendly waitstaff provided great recommendations, such as trying the flavorful Bollywood Chicken instead of the traditional Butter Chicken. The variety of rices and naans were all delectable, while the mango lassie offered a thin yet scrumptious drink option. For those seeking a milder spice level, the Mild option was indeed devoid of any heat, although opting for Medium was suggested for enhanced flavor.
If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. Every dish we tried was an explosion of flavor, showcasing the richness of Indian spices and cooking techniques. The karahi was a standout with its perfectly balanced spices and tender meat, creating a deliciously hearty dish. The butter chicken was creamy, smooth, and slightly sweet, melting in your mouth with every bite. The lamb curry was another highlight, offering tender pieces of lamb in a flavorful, spiced gravy that paired beautifully with the fluffy, buttery naan bread. The dishes were presented beautifully, and the portion sizes were generous, perfect for sharing. The balance of spice and flavor in every dish was spot-on, leaving us completely satisfied. Service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall exceptional experience. If you're a fan of Indian food, this place will not disappoint!

Stunning Indian cuisine! Not quite as spicy as we like (for medium) but you can ask for very spicy if you wish. Chicken falls apart it’s so tender, rice is great, the garlic and cheese naan is the best I’ve ever tasted. Cannot fault it! Very full!

This charming little eatery, with just 27 seats, offers a cozy yet intimate atmosphere that makes it perfect for special occasions or a quiet meal away from the hustle and bustle. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of.
Exquisite food, limited menu means you know each dish is prepared to perfection. Definitely deserves is place as top 10% on TripAdvisor If you wanna come here for dinner from 7pm onwards booking is essential

A very enjoyable experience. We booked online given that we have had two failed attempts to eat at Mr Greek. This is a small restaurant set back from the road giving a surprisingly quiet and private feel to it. It’s run by a charming and charismatic owner who is super efficient. The meals are authentic and very well prepared and presented. Seasoning was perfect. Prices are good value.

I was pleasantly surprised with this little Greek restaurant. The portion is good, and food tastes great too. Our friendly Dutch waiter is so friendly and helpful. Shame we didn't have room to try the egg nog after. May be next time.

Taste, taste and taste, that is the main and the resume of what we can say about that small Greek corner on the island. Exceptional food that we made the vacation first dinner, as a tradition, now year by year. The menu is not massive, but enough by far to try different Greek receipts, based on the tradition, but facing the contemporary greek food.

Great greek dishes! Everyone enjoyed the food till the last bite! Lamb was soft and well flavored, Chicken in Kotopoulo and Souvlaki was great! Gyros Fourno Metaxa was outstanding! Special thanks for great service. Worth a visit!

I would like to thank the staff and owner at Mr.Greek for the amazing service and most delicious Greek food ever, and for making our evening so special to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. We can’t wait to go back again before we leave the island, my only challenge is to not order the mouth watering moussaka again…so I can try the lamb. If you are looking for the taste of homemade Greek food and friendly caring staff….Check this place out you will love it🥂 We booked our anniversary dinner in April 2025 and loved our evening especially the appetizers!

We had the Mezze platter and a bit of baklava finished off with espressos. Everything on the platter was well prepared but the grape leaves were a bit underpriced for my taste. The tables around us seemed to enjoy their food as well. I enjoyed the baklava because it was not as sweet as most of the others I have had. The service was attentive and professional

While on vacation in Gran Canaria, I had the opportunity to visit Tango Tapas, a highly recommended restaurant known for serving the best tapas in town. Not only were the tapas outstanding, but they were also considered the best throughout the entire island. The portion sizes were perfectly balanced and offered at a reasonable price, allowing guests to create their own satisfying meals. Each dish was exquisite and left a lasting impression.
Fantastic food! Real authentic tapas dishes, good portion sizes and very tasty. Service was good and staff are very friendly. We was told they are new owners and they were great. Nice decor too.

We are currently on holiday in Gran Canaria and really wanted to go out for tapas. Friends of ours recommended the restaurant, saying it was the best tapas in town. So we went. Not only would we say that they are the best tapas in town, but also on the whole island. The portion sizes are so perfect that you can put together the meal of your choice at a more than fair price! The individual dishes come one after the other, and simply every one of them is to die for! Whenever we are back in Gran Canaria - this tapas bar is a must! And you, dear reader, should do the same!

We enjoyed the food and ambience. Can't say that the seating certainly that we had was particularly comfortable, especially for someone with a back condition. I would advise making in a reservation and though good food - yes. I'm not convinced it's worthy of the fine reputation/pricing.

Awful service. Got some of the tapas before the drinks, and we only got 4 out 5 drinks. Food was incredibly slow and not very good. Young sweedish waiter was not of much help. We ended up having to cancel the last dish, as we did not have time to wait for it but they still tried to charge us for it. Do not recommend this place and will not come here again.

The pizza restaurant Ristorante Italiano Al Circo is a great place to enjoy some delicious Italian food. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond to make your experience great. The atmosphere is wonderful, with plenty of seating both indoors and out. The food is excellent, with a wide range of dishes available to choose from. Prices are reasonable, making it easy to get your fill without breaking the bank.
We did not expect a really good Italian restaurant in this very touristy city, but this was really good. Vitello tonato was great, as were the "Best White" pizza and the "Best Red" pizza. Very nice staff, checking if you were in need of anything else and if it tasted good. Atmosphere was also great. Would recommend anytime.

Oh my word… how lovely this restaurant is! We have visited this evening, a Thursday in early September, and we have had an incredible time. We didn’t have a reservation, that wasn’t a problem, it wasn’t particularly busy. We had our pick of tables outside, only a couple of tables taken. The ambiance was wonderful. The restaurant overlooks a pool. We ordered the Malafemmena pizza and the tagliolini gamberi e zenzero pasta. Told the waiter we were sharing and he arranged for the pizza to come first, split between us and then two plates arrived before our pasta dish arrived. The service throughout was exceptional! I am not exaggerating to say that the food was absolutely delicious… probably the best Italian food I have ever had 😁 just wish I could have fit in a dessert but we were both full at this point. Also, great gin measures 👍 It was hard to choose what to have out of the menu as so many things sounded lovely. We will be back before we go home!

Galician restaurant
Restaurante Marisquería Rías Bajas is a top dining spot in Gran Canaria, known for its high professionalism and quality. The menu features Galician recipes, offering a variety of paella, seafood, steak, cocktails, aperitifs, and Spanish wine. Situated in Maspalomas with an unbeatable location on the waterfront promenade of Meloneras, this restaurant offers impeccable service and an unmissable dining experience.
Good experience overall. A bit on the more expensive side, but worth it. And a more "fine dining" experience. We were welcomed and shown to a table by a friendly man. Service was good and friendly as well. Had the ham croquettes which were really, really good. The taste and also the consistency of the mashed potatoes inside the croquettes were great. I also had the rack of lamb suckling, which was very good, too. Although, some of the potatoes that it came with were quite salty near the bottom. I'm not sure where the saltyness was coming from, if it was the potatoes or if it was the onions or some of the sauce. Aside from this, it was a pleasant experience. Would recommend and return.

Looks like a clean and nice restaurant with professional staff, but the experience was not so pleasant. They have menus in many languages, but are unfortunately not able to explain it or offer guidance with the food. I ordered Grilled prawns from Huelva at a price of 23.30 euros. Clearly you would think that a main course comes with a side order for that price!??? A plate of overcooked prawns was all I got… My son ordered the Gratin spider crab Txangurro, and that was not either explained it was a soup… After being served the food, no one paid us any attention! Not asking how the food was, not offering more drinks! I had to WAVE to the waiter to get his attention. If they didn’t like the looks of us, they should have turned us away at the door! Or you treat all customers the same (they were swarming around the other guests around us…). After complaining I got another dish of monkfish that was lovely! Ate quickly as the rest of the family were done and got up and left. Won’t be back.
Sofie A — Google review
We had the grilled fish assortment and, it was the freshest, the most moist and tender fillet of fishes we have ever had! Although the food is pricey when compared to the average local seafood restaurants, in my opinion, it reflects the quality of the food served. I gave 4 stars for service as the waiters couldn't tell us the types of fish on the platter, which was somewhat disappointing. Please also don't be fooled when they bring a basket of bread to the table, serving them as if they are complimentary, as you will be charged over two euros per bread. Overall, this place is highly recommended for an exceptional gastronomic experience!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere! The food is just incredible and the service is just another level!! Well done team, you have perfected it!! Worth flying to Gran Canaria just to have a meal at Rías Bajas. We ate here nearly everyday of our holiday, it was just that good!!

Black rice, razor clams and chopitos were absolutely amazing! Although the paella was a bit too saucy and thick for our liking, we asked them to make it dry and crispy (socarat) but unfortunately they weren’t able to do it. Some servers were extremely friendly however some were not so friendly. Overall, a good restaurant to go to in Maspalomas.

Nice , cozy place. Quite and lovely atmosphere, one thing to want say the food can much better ( mean the ingredients are fresh, fish and seafood fresh but the time cooking should be less, everything was overcook, and lots of souse wich is completely kills the flavor of the seafood ) the menu of desserts very boring.

Came here as a treat meal for the last night of the holiday and it did not disappoint. The menu has a good choice of traditional Steakhouse and Tex Mex with some Spanish dishes. I went for the Pan Catalan and the Argentine Fillet Steak, both were delicious with the portions very generous. The starter could have been a lunch option in itself. I used to go to an Argentine restaurant in London South Kensington when I worked there and would say the steaks here are of comparable quality, right down to the rosemary marinade. Service is very friendly and attentive and I would definitely come back when I'm next in GC.

If we could give this place six stars, we would. El Rancho was easily the classiest and most romantic restaurant we visited in Gran Canaria — a true highlight of our honeymoon. The moment you walk down the steps into the dining area, you feel transported somewhere elegant yet warm. The décor, the lighting, even the carved wooden menu covers all whisper quality. It’s quiet, relaxed, and beautifully kept — spotless, comfortable, and effortlessly stylish. We dined here twice, both times after 9 p.m., when the evening rush had eased, and every visit felt like a private occasion. The service was flawless — our waiter had that perfect “Alfred from Batman” charm: professional, witty, and attentive without ever hovering. The food? Outstanding. We started with wings, followed by a rack of ribs that fell clean off the bone, served with perfectly crisp chips. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The desserts were just as memorable — rich, well-presented, and the ideal finish. Prices are a touch higher than average, but for the standard you get, it’s worth every cent. To top it all off, each meal ended with a complimentary shot of local honey rum — the perfect sweet ending to an already perfect evening. El Rancho truly embodies what a honeymoon dinner should feel like: romantic, classy, and unforgettable. Whether you’re a couple looking for a special night or a family wanting a polished dining experience, this restaurant stands a cut above the rest. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

No respect for the food. Dry and tasteless chicken wings. Texas spare ribs without flavor. And the weekly special angus just a thin slice of tasteless whatever meat. Pepper sauce tasted like cellery sauce. Frozen margaritas was just a margarita on ice. No beautiful margarita slush or crushed ice. Too much juice, too little tequila, if any. Same with the Pina Collado. Did not stick around to spend money on dessert. A really expensive disappointment! Found ourselves surrounded by smokers in the end.. No respect for other diners and food. There is better steak houses in the area. Stay away from this one.

Quite possibly the worst ribs I've ever had. Dry, tasteless and served haphazardly. The staff were rude and couldn't care less about their customers. Especially when dining solo. If you're very drunk, you might enjoy your experience. That's about the height of it!

Found this gem of a restaurant this week only a 2 minute walk from our hotel. We've been to the same hotel 2 years running and didn't know this was here but so glad we decided to try it. Great service and great atmosphere. Obviously very popular with regulars as was busy but that didn't impact on the service and quality. Food was amazing on the 2 nights we visited and was very plentiful and really well priced. Complimentary bread at the start of the meal and liqueurs at the end really set this restaurant apart from others we've used on our holidays. Normally you get a shot with the bill but here they put the bottles on the table and let you help yourselves, a touch which obviously attracts the regulars who were making an evening of it. Definitely will be back next year!!

Our first dinner in Maspalomas. We were looking around for somewhere to eat, and we were welcomed to eat here. The service was nice and friendly. We got the paella, which was very well presented and then served for us. Would recommend and definitely come back here. They gave us a digestif after our meal too.

Hands down the most amazing food I’ve had. Not too expensive either. Service can be a bit slow when busy as only one person takes the food other and one person drinks order so we were told. The fish and chicken we had were both spectacular though. Worth the wait.

Horrible experience. Vegetable raviolis seemeed to have boiled wok vegetables poured over them, which were saggy and tasteless, even the raviolis were saggy. Margherita pizza was so close to frozen ristorante pizza that I’m not sure if it wasn’t that. The place was packed with people and seemed that the all those waiters could not handle it. Not even if there was room to have even more guests. Had to ask the bill 4 times from 4 different waiters and waited it for it still with a toddler over 20minutes. When some tables around us asked the bill and got it before us. This was the most expensive food we had on our trip and by far the worst. Cannot understand how anyone can give this place 5 stars. Be warned.

12.11.2023 - still everything perfect Rumpsteak as buttery and tender as always, brilliant team, nice sides. Seeing you again the next days 24.05.2021 - Update Another year, another time at Chez Luigi. Quality and Service still on an extremly high level. As we say.. Luigi always performs well. I guess we have come here for more than 50 times and were never dissatisfied within all the past years. Rumpsteak with Pepper Sauce/double vegetables on the side and Lenguado "Müllerin" with Papas Arugadas are our absolute favourites. Also Salads are good, You always get a bread with Aioli as a starter for free and always a shot on the house when asking for the bill. Id also recommend to get an Cortado after you finish your meal. Its cheap and tastes great. Value for money has almost never been that good anywhere else. Old review 2020: Luigi is delivering for years now. Always a good rumpsteak and sole fish. Even in corona times restaurant was pretty packed but you will always find a spot. They are taking care of all the distance/hygienic rules. Service is fast and food always food. Garlic bread as a starter is normally included for free as well as a drink after the meal. We are coming here for maybe 5-6 years and were never disappointed. Only the ambience is a bit rough and hectic. The restaurant next door (polaris, run by the daughter? of the owner) is doing a better job with extremly friendly stuff and well known people (Jamal and Minou).

A top Argentine grill restaurant on the island of Gran Canaria, El Churrasco Argentino Steak House is a must-try for anyone visiting the island. Served with delicious meat and sides, this place is perfect for a special occasion or just to enjoy some great food.
Steak and steak skewer (kebab) were both very tasty and tender. Cooked as requested. Sauce had to come separately with extra charge. Fries hand cut amazing. Salad tomato was out of season but very presentable and the dressing very good. Waiters very friendly and polite and answered our questions about the food with a knowledge of what they were offering. In general service was very professional and we liked it. Toilet review clean and good condition 7,5/10 In price range Sangria is included which basically is another main dish

We had dinner two nights in a row here and we loved it! The staff was very friendly and the service was fast. We had the chateaubriand for 2 people which was cut at the table and served on a hot plate with a side vegetables. Side of fries and mushroom sauce was extra. Everything was very delicious, the meat was very tender and we came back the next day and ordered the same thing. It was our favorite meal in Gran Canaria and we'd gladly return on our next trip!
Spela K — Google review
It could easily be a 5 star experience but I ended up giving a 2 stars tops mainly due to the bad service we received. The starter was very good indeed and basically the best part of the dinner. It took a long time before we get the main dish (around 30 minutes) and I had to get a refill of my drink! My ribeye steak was fine but the side grilled tomato and vegetables were not fresh and were just put to fill the plate. My wife's steak didn't arrive as we had ordered. She ordered it medium but it was rare. When we asked the waitress to change it she didn't accept her mistake and said you ordered it this way! But she offered to put it again on the grill! This didn't help much and the steak was still chewy. When they asked if the food was good I replied it was OK and they were surprised just OK? And yes. At least half of the experience is that you feel welcomed at a restaurant and get what you have ordered and it was not the feeling/experience we had. Furthermore 7% service fee is included in the fee. I don't recommend this restaurant.

I've been meaning to try this restaurant for a couple of years now. So glad I finally did as the steak was amazing and lots of good choices on the menu. Marco Polo Restaurant, established in 1980, has grown from a small family-run eatery to become one of the top dining spots in Maspalomas' Playa del Ingles area. This restaurant offers a delightful blend of Spanish, Italian, and Mediterranean dishes featuring fresh pasta, meat specialties, and seafood. Whether you're looking for an upscale dinner or celebrating a special occasion, Marco Polo provides the perfect ambiance.
Amazing food, and fast service, waiter was lovely, he is very friendly and attentive (all of them were) clean well cooked food. I would highly recommend this little gem 💎

Beautiful steak restaurant where we had a chatiubriand. It was delicious with a selection of 4 sauces. It was supposed to be medium but was slightly under but still edible so bare that in mind if you don't like rare steak!

Please, please, please try this hidden gem. Whilst the location is not amazing and it is in a very quiet shopping mall the food was absolutely fantastic. We went to a family of three and we cleared our plates. I opted for a meat stone board where you cook the meat yourself. This was a fantastic experience which I’ve never encountered before. The daughter had spaghetti Bolognese which she said was one of her favourites and the wife had pasta she loved it.

Been here twice in three days! Shared the bruschetta and the garlic prawns to start. Had the ‘onion lovers’ steak each time which was incredible. Cooked medium rare as requested and beautiful Gorgonzola sauce. Staff attentive and friendly. Would recommend

We came to the Cita Centre and chose here for dinner. The pizza was absolutely delicious and one of the best Diavola pizzas I’ve ever tasted. It was packed with flavour with plenty of toppings though I personally could have had more peppers for more heat. The dessert was also very good, as was my Mojito. I’ve given less stars for service as the man who greeted us did not show us to our table, just gestured to where we should sit. Any time I’ve eaten anywhere in Gran Canaria over my two week holiday, I’ve been asked what language then the correct page found on the menu, then the menu handed to me. This waiter did neither, just handed us the menus which we then riffled through the many pages to find the English menu. Not a huge issue, just different to what I’ve experienced everywhere else. Our female waitress was very nice and attentive. I would definitely return and have one of the pasta dishes next time as the ones they served to other customers looked delicious. A very nice, reasonably priced restaurant with great food.

Very impressed by the price-quality balance! Big portions with amazing quality for only 10-20 euros. Some of the best schnitzels we’ve ever had. Great pizzas, the pasta was also good! Friendly staff that works fast, calmly and efficiently. Music isn’t too loud, there’s a calm and cozy, yet luxurious atmosphere. Absolutely recommend!!

Such a big thank I should appreciate to this restaurant since they can arrange the surprise what I already told them fot my partner’s birthday. They arranged the table with birthday wishes and welcome champagne. The food was amazing and the service is high to the top. The waitress was really nice and always took care of us and pouring the wine to our glasses. In the end, we ordered a dessert and they put such a candle to surprise my partner. I highly recommend this restaurant, and if you want to arrange such birthday party, do not hesitate to ask them. They will do it perfectly. I

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience in Playa del Ingles, look no further than HabaRoma Hosteria Restaurant Pizzeria Romana. This charming eatery has garnered rave reviews for its authentic Italian cuisine, particularly its risotto and pizza offerings. Diners have praised the sizzling garlic shrimp and well-balanced lasagna that boasts a generous pasta-to-filling ratio—something often lacking in commercial versions.
Absolutely beautiful food, wonderful service and a great atmosphere. The hosts are not pushy like some of the other restaurants in the centre, but are very attentive when you need them. They also make a fantastic cocktail. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

What a difference 6 months make ! Last night we returned to this restaurant,it was very busy but the staff IMMEDIATELY acknowledged us and found us a table as soon as possible. The service was not only quick but friendly and fun, the food is prepared to order and fantastic and the wines are not over priced.

Wow ladies and gents! You did a really good job every time I’ve been at your Italian restaurant! Today I had one of the best risottos, I’ve ever tried and eaten! Thanks for this delicious meal! Do it again, please! Recommendations: Pizza Racket! Also very, very good! It’s the best choice to eat Pizza and Pasta in Playa del Ingles/ Maspalomas/ Gran Can. Oh yeah: The Service is also nice and every time up for good joke and never too busy for a smile and attention for their guests.

A hugely enjoyable meal - the sizzling garlic shrimp were absolutely superb! Lasagne was very good too, with a very satisfying ratio of pasta to everything else (why is commercial lasagne always so mean with the pasta?) Really enjoyed that meal and will come again. Ethan was out front, wearing his jeans that he was wearing when he lost the fight with a tiger...
Paul H — Google review
Lovely free soup when we entered the restaurant! The food was underwhelming and not always tasty. The pizza had its good spots when eating with the meat, but without it was not too tasty. The tagliatelle was undercooked, but if it was not it would have been tastier. The main reason why they get a 2 stars our of 3 that we were left waiting for a total of 15 minutes for the bill. Their attentiveness was poor considering we had told them twice, waved at them but to no avail. The table next to us were just as unfortunate and had to wait a similar time to get their bill.

Very good and authentic food! We tried Pizza and Pasta and both was really good. Also the drinks are great! Not the cheapest restaurant in Yumbo but reasonable pricing given the quality and service (greetings to Ethan!) We came here twice in one week and will do so, if we come back to the island!

La Candela is a delightful dining spot nestled in the vibrant Yumbo Centre, where guests are welcomed with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere. The attentive staff, including the lovely Maria, ensure that your experience is both relaxed and enjoyable. Diners rave about the delicious pasta dishes and impeccable service that keeps them coming back for more. While some may find the presence of smoking a bit distracting, it doesn't overshadow the overall charm of this restaurant.
Had food here tonight and it was absolutely gorgeous. We were served by Maria who was very efficient and very attentive. I will definitely be coming here again for food.

Amazing service from Maria and co-workers. One of the only restaurants with cocktails in the whole of Gran Canaria that actually hit because they did not forget to add the alcohol. Food was good too. As someone who also works in the service industry, I am impressed and inspired by Maria’s professional friendliness, approachability, hospitality and attentiveness to all her customers. The other staff are also great too. If you did not go to La Candela at Yumbo, you lost out! With love from 🇳🇴 🇮🇳

Right in the heart of the Yumbo. We have been here many times in the past and never been disappointed. Greeted by Maria who is lovely and if you haven’t booked she will try and fit you in. Service good, unhurried but quick enough. Food really good, we both had pasta dishes, and would happily recommend them.

Dined here on recommendation from a friend. The food was delicious and good value for money. The starters and mains arrived very quick, but the desserts took a little longer to arrive. Very busy restaurant, but worth a try. Would dine here again.

The staff & service was good, the baked aubergine with palm honey was delicious, stroganoff was tasty but I was disappointed in the sea bass which had lots of bones and the accompanying prawns were not shelled making my plate a battle with shells and bones. The salmon carpaccio was tasteless. Cocktails did not taste very strong and was a limited menu. Compared with all the other options in the Yumbo this was mediocre.
Hayden M — Google review
Great, fast, efficient service from the very friendly staff. Ordered med rare steak with fresh mushroom sauce, got a well done piece of beef with mushroom gravy, the food was also just above warm. My husband had cordon bleu, which was a very large portion, served very hot and tasted great. Ended the meal with a coffee, which was also just warm.

There looks to be a lot of tasty British food on the menu here. Unfortunately the meal I got wasn't too to my taste. However I'll might have to try it again as it did seem to have other tasty items on the menu. Staff is nice, LGBT+ friendly and they play good music. Update: went back for a second and third time. In the second and third experience I ordered something different and the food was very tasty.

*Updated review* 8th May 2025 Literally the day after my review, they changed the menu because flakes don't like mushrooms. The new menu you get a hash brown and 1 bacon less. I brought it to the attention to the tall slim guy as I already knew what I wanted but I didn't know the menu changed till the food came. He was super nice about it and brought me some mushrooms. After paying I asked that when I return and I have the dish I originally had, he said yes absolutely. Next time around I return and the women serves me who appears English. I brought the menu change and I asked can I have the original? She said yes. A gentleman then brings my food off the new menu....i just couldn't rise to repeat myself again! Not only that, It wasn't overly busy but the women was getting herself in a tizz for no reason. My mate asked for a coffee and she said one moment I'm busy and with someone.... They later asked for the bill and again said she's busy with someone. I even asked for the bill and never got it and I ended up going to the till to pay. Not entirely sure why the atmosphere has changed soo quickly from my first visit. That said, I've taken my breakfast visit elsewhere. Ive posted an update of the breakfast pic. You can see a massive difference. Shame Monday 5th May 2025 (picture with mushrooms) Being British, I do like to try local food... However, us British like like proper sausage and bacon. So if you want a proper breakfast? Buddies is where you are getting it from

In the photo you can see how this person, I don't know if he is the owner or employee of the establishment, is verbally attacking another girl just like he did to me. I needed to go to the bathroom first and was going to use it and then buy a drink. He ran after me and opened the bathroom door and aggressively pulled me out of the bathroom yelling at me to buy something first. He was very disrespectful. I do not recommend the place or the food.
Gabriela G — Google review
Very disappointing breakfast.. the Full English was only sausage bacon eggs beans and toast.. had to add extra to it to make it an actual full English then when it came it was tinned salty mushrooms and everything was very dry nothing was fried in oil apart from the egg. We left most of it and headed to find somewhere for breakfast. Very disappointing experience won't be returning anytime soon.

Bohemia Suites & Spa is a chic and modern hotel located in Playa del Ingles, offering stylish rooms and suites with private balconies. The hotel features multiple dining options, including the Mediterranean 360 Restaurant and the Atelier cocktail bar. Guests can also enjoy the Siam Spa, fitness center, and two heated pools. With an adults-only atmosphere, the hotel provides panoramic rooftop views near Playa Del Ingles.
This was our second time at this wonderful hotel and we are definitely coming back! After not so pleasant experience at the other hotel on the island, we had a magnificent and relaxing stay at Bohemia. This hotel is a true 5-star with wonderful decor rooms, beautiful premises and the most important of all, amazing and kind people working here! I can absolutely recommend this hotel to any looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The only minor suggestion for improvement would be the gym. While still being nice and well-equipped, some of the machines show signs of age and need to be updated soon.
Dmitri S — Google review
The stay exceeded what I expected. From the moment I got there the staff were helpful and the vibe relaxed, it definitely felt like a haven of peace in a developed area (not that the area was too crazy that time of year). The member of staff who checked me in (I believe her name was Sara) then proceeded to answer a million and one of my silly questions throughout the week with patience and really help me plan getting around the island, as well as recommended great local places to eat outside the restaurant, as well as cool places to visit that locals know about, can't thank them enough for all that. The rest of the staff from the pool caretaker/lifeguard to the staff working in the restaurant were so attentive and pleasant they even remembered my order from the day before (can't remember the gentleman who served me each day but he was amazing also the food is great), truly they were a pleasure, the staff are simply the best. The actual hotel is great, the rooms are really spacious and comfortable and the balcony is a great extra. The cleaning staff do a great job keeping it all spick and span. The pool areas are great, there are a range of pools and areas to enjoy lounging. The gym is pretty good and the masseuse is fantastic. Plus the hotel is like a 5 minute walk from the beach, basically I can't fault it from my perspective.
Farzaam A — Google review
I booked this place for a quick getaway as a solo traveller. Check-in was easy but the doors to the room were very heavy so I thought I was locked out (you need a good push). My room was relatively small but as I was alone it was okay, I can imagine two people may trip over each other if shared. There were Molton Brown products available in the bathroom: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, bar soap. There were towels and beach towels, robes and slippers. Unfortunately there was no remote in my room to use the TV but I didn't bother to alert hotel staff as I wasn't going to use it anyway. Breakfast was a semi-buffet but a la carte hot items. You need to be specific as to quantities otherwise they will bring you only one of what you asked for. The service at the pool bar was very slow. I ordered a cocktail, two people arrived at the bar after me and they were both served and billed settled before the gentleman at the bar informed me that he couldn't make my cocktail and I had to order another one. This was highly frustrating after waiting about 15 minutes. The food was average, I would personally recommend going to nearby restaurants at the beach for tastier food at a fraction of the price The location was great and had all I needed nearby. Overall I would have appreciated it to be adequately staff. The staff I did encounter were all lovely

Love, love, love this hotel! If you want to chill then this is definitely the place to be! Staff are wonderful! Rooms are gorgeous and the overall ambiance is perfect! Lots of lovely art. Ate the breakfast which was wonderful and a great range of hot dishes. Enjoyed lunch at the bar! The food was really tasty. Just a tiny moan about the gym which looked as if it had had a flood recently and needed a bit of attention! Maybe I am being a bit picky as I used it everyday!

Have had an amazing short stay at the Bohemia suits, end of June. We went for my sister's birthday for a weekend getaway, & got delicious food, good ambiance, attentive staff both at the reception and at the restaurants. Delicious Breakfast selection, and diverse menu for the dinner at the 360 Restaurant, the cocktails were amazing, would definitely recommend! They have been attentive enough and prepared a nice sweet surprise for her in the room which was absolutely delicious! Easy walk down to the ocean, and to the Mas Palomas Dunes. From our balcony we had views of both which were stunning! Highly recommended!

If you're on the lookout for a delightful culinary experience, Zayka Authentic Indian Cuisine is a must-visit. This charming restaurant offers an impressive selection of vegan-friendly dishes, and the staff is well-informed about vegan options available each day. You can indulge in mouthwatering starters like their fantastic vegetable pakora served with two delicious sauces, or savor the rich flavors of Madras curry with paneer and palak paneer. The garlic naan bread here is also noteworthy—crispy yet not greasy.
Lots of vegetarian options. Great garlic naan (non greesy). 2.5€ Curries are great as well from 6.5 - 8€. Give them a try. Not much of a view when there but food is good and prices are right! Not crowded. Qucik service. Waiter tries hard and helps. So it's 5*

Service: Very kind and friendly waiter, thank you again ! Ambiente: Overall, it is a clean place for the circumstances in this area. The interior could be a bit more indian style. The light in the ceiling to shiny and bright. I'm very surprised that an indian restaurant in this location makes such tasty and good food. Thank you very much 👍🏻🙏🏻 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good, but definitely not the best Indian restaurant in the canaries - I would not go again. Waiter was extremely attentive and kind (5 stars) The food (I had Chana Masala) was good, but compared to other Indian restaurants it felt like it missed some spices. The ambience and presentation of the food on the plates wasn’t very great unfortunately, see pics, - again compared to other restaurants we’ve been before with similar google maps rating.

From the moment I stepped in, the warm hospitality was palpable, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Each dish was a delightful exploration of flavors, perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. Moreover, the prices were quite reasonable, offering great value for the quality and experience. Delicious food, amazing service from Bianca and the team. A lovely evening. We came as a group of 6 and had 3 sharing tapas plates. Did not disappoint!
